Transcript
- 0:09Righty folks, and welcome to the Monday edition of the Whitfield
- 0:15Report. And boy, it has been a jammed
- 0:18pack, you know, week. Lots of stuff going on, but I
- 0:26figured I would kind of take a break from the news cycle and
- 0:31all the great things going on in the world to talk to someone who
- 0:36I've known for a while now. And I've meant to have her on
- 0:40the show. And yes, you heard me right,
- 0:43her. I don't have women on the
- 0:47podcast very much. Not because I don't want to, but
- 0:52because there aren't a lot who you know.
- 0:55I've just crossed my path in the podcasting world, but Karina
- 1:00Harney Jones is my guest today. She is an actress, a producer
- 1:09you've done a lot, and most probably recognizable in my
- 1:16circle. She is a Playmate of the year
- 1:19for I believe 92 and my character.
- 1:25Yes, 1992. It sure ages me before you were
- 1:30born. Isn't that bizarre, Sam?
- 1:34You, you, you still look the same.
- 1:39So thank you anyway. Yeah, well, thanks for coming
- 1:44on. Happy to have you.
- 1:46Well, thank you for having me, Sam.
- 1:48I'm I'm so happy that I can finally talk to you on your
- 1:53podcast. Thanks.
- 1:57It's it's been a while long time in making and I apologize for
- 2:03any delays on my end, but I'm glad we're here finally.
- 2:09So before we dive into specific topics, just give us a general
- 2:19overview. Who are you, you know, What's
- 2:22your general, I guess story? Well, I mean, I, you know, that
- 2:31probably the special interest and how you were even interested
- 2:36in having me on the podcast is that I posed for Playboy in 1991
- 2:42when I was only 18 years old, just turning 19 and worked for
- 2:49Playboy for many years, first as a centerfold again, Miss August
- 2:561990. And then I went on to win
- 2:59Playmate of the Year in 1992 and did my whole tour and, and it
- 3:05was pretty incredible working for Playboy and Hugh Hefner.
- 3:10And, and then I also, you know, when I was backing up because
- 3:16it's really funny that I ever posed for Playboy because it was
- 3:19not anything anyone would have pictured for my life, especially
- 3:24if you knew me when I was a little girl.
- 3:26And even as a teen. It, it just was not in my
- 3:30nature, wasn't in my, I mean, it wasn't, I was very shy, very
- 3:34modest. And then I, I, I love acting.
- 3:38I love entertaining. I did my first commercial in the
- 3:414th grade with Dick Van Patten for for Blue Cross Blue Shield.
- 3:48Yes, and if many people don't know who that is, especially at
- 3:51your age, but you're you're a very intelligent person.
- 3:54That seems to be I you amaze me, Sam that that you probably know
- 4:00these old TV shows, but he was you have one of Hefner's best
- 4:04friends. So it was kind of funny that I
- 4:07came full circle and then would see him on movie night at the
- 4:11mansion and and became friends with his son.
- 4:15You know, he had a few sons that were in the business and they
- 4:19all lived in Beverly Hills and they were all family friends and
- 4:23with Hef. And so it's funny that I did my
- 4:26first commercial and then here I here I am, you know, at the
- 4:29Playboy Mansion and there's Dick Van Patten, but that I did my
- 4:35first commercial with so. That is wild.
- 4:38Well, I suppose I should back up for the audience because it's
- 4:43been a while since I've discussed this specific topic on
- 4:47the show, but this guy and fill the audience in and you know,
- 4:52fill you in. Even though we've talked off
- 4:54air, I'm very pro free speech, very pro First Amendment and
- 5:01very anti cancel culture across the board.
- 5:09And so I found it weird. Hugh Hefner passed, I think in
- 5:152017. And obviously he was a cultural
- 5:18icon, controversial, you know, or not.
- 5:22We can get into some of that a bit lighter, but there wasn't
- 5:27really any, you know, he passed and things kind of, you know,
- 5:33you didn't really hear about him.
- 5:34And and then a year or two there were there was this documentary
- 5:42that came out and I used the term documentary very lightly in
- 5:48Eric quotes that was basically a hit piece trying to compare him
- 5:55to Harvey Weinstein and in my opinion, demonizing him.
- 6:02And what I found interesting was when I found your podcast, The
- 6:09Bunny Chronicles podcast, it became pretty apparent to me
- 6:14that from what I've heard, that documentary series interviewed a
- 6:20lot of Playmates, but only selectively picked up certain
- 6:27narratives to go on with their agenda.
- 6:30And look, I realized that not everyone in my audience likes
- 6:34Playboy or likes Hugh Hefner. You may have your opinions on
- 6:40him, and that's fine. My opinions have actually
- 6:42changed on Half over the years as I've actually learned about
- 6:46him. But I think cancer culture is
- 6:51dangerous, especially when you're canceling someone who has
- 6:56passed and who can no longer defend themselves in the public
- 7:02eye. And you did know Half, I don't
- 7:08know how well, but I wanted to have you on to ask you a couple
- 7:16questions about what your experience with HEF was like and
- 7:20what your experience with Playboy was like in general.
- 7:23And then you know what your life has been like since working with
- 7:29Playboy and what the brand means to you so.
- 7:37Well, there's a lot to unpack right there.
- 7:41I agree with you that cancel culture is very dangerous in
- 7:46America, where we're supposed to function under a very wonderful
- 7:50Constitution. And one of those things is our
- 7:53First Amendment, as you mentioned.
- 7:56And love HEF or hate HEF, which there were a lot of people and
- 8:02believe it or not, very liberal people that attacked Hugh Hefner
- 8:07throughout the years. But you know, it always amazes
- 8:13me just thinking of what he built that only could have been
- 8:17built in America in the time in which we live an empire.
- 8:23And he was, gosh, there were a few things you said there that I
- 8:28have to kind of go back to. So the documentary that you
- 8:33mentioned that it was a smear campaign of HEF.
- 8:38There are things that are very dangerous happening in America
- 8:41at lightspeed right now. And one of those things, oddly
- 8:44enough, has us here talking about Hugh Hefner, who was an
- 8:48icon really, who maybe wasn't morally something that you would
- 8:54agree with. I even struggled with a few
- 8:57things that maybe as a Christian, I, I, I don't
- 9:01condone, you know, I, I like one man, one woman and that gets you
- 9:08in trouble now and, and you can't even say those things.
- 9:11But and I think later in life half even realized because at
- 9:16the beginning of his life, he was a very monogamous person.
- 9:19He was in love and jilted. And I think after that, he kind
- 9:24of went on this quest and, and as a, a man in the, in America,
- 9:30you know, he, he really tapped into it was a men's magazine,
- 9:35you know, and there's something else that that's so, you know,
- 9:40out of touch right now for, for most a men's magazine, you know,
- 9:45but he knew what men liked. And, and the whole girl next
- 9:49door concept was something that it was, it was like art.
- 9:53And, and you go back to the Roman Empire, you go back in
- 9:56time, all throughout history, all ages and people celebrated
- 10:03the beauty of women. And there were they were in
- 10:06paintings they and it wasn't pornography.
- 10:10Now, Heff used to get into that argument a lot.
- 10:12And that's a whole other subject that you could go down a crazy
- 10:16Rd. with that. But at the end of the day, for
- 10:19me to have posed for the magazine, I thought of it as
- 10:21art. My mom who encouraged me to
- 10:24pose, she's the one that told me, you know it, it's not
- 10:27Penthouse, you're not being vulgar.
- 10:30It's very beautiful and it's something that I, you know, that
- 10:35said the magazine itself, you know, aside from the beautiful
- 10:41women that were in the magazine, it, it had some of the most
- 10:46prolific writers and it was very objective, something that we
- 10:50don't have today. There, there were real honest
- 10:54objective. And there's a word that people
- 10:57don't function by objectivity anymore.
- 11:00It was real, honest, objective journalism.
- 11:05They would really sit down with the real human being, no matter
- 11:09if it was a political figure, if it was a pop culture figure.
- 11:13You know, I'm sure you've read the magazine.
- 11:15It, it was the Q&A's were very thorough.
- 11:18They were very honest. They were very it, it, it let
- 11:22the reader form an opinion and, and you formed your own opinion.
- 11:28And that's what a good journalist does.
- 11:30And and we don't have that anymore.
- 11:33And, and back to what you said about them trying to cancel have
- 11:37what we have is a lot of malcontent human beings in
- 11:41America. And, and I'm sure you know all
- 11:43this just reading your book, Sam, a great nation, a free
- 11:48nation rises and falls in cycles.
- 11:51And I think we happen to be in the downtrend of going back into
- 11:57slavery. And I'm sure you know the cycles
- 12:00of going from being in slavery and then fighting for spiritual
- 12:06freedom. People actually seek God because
- 12:09they're that helpless and hopeless, because you have a
- 12:11tyrannical government over you or a dictator over you, or
- 12:16because when you get few people in power that are malcontents
- 12:21and they're godless malcontents. I can't believe I'm saying this
- 12:25stuff, but I it's true. You, you end up with the few
- 12:30tating to others what they're, what they think is virtuous.
- 12:34And, and, but the point I'm getting at is you also get
- 12:38journalists that are being paid for certain powers and all of
- 12:43these things. And I think there's movements
- 12:48that start to happen with malcontents and whether it's
- 12:51and, and they mean well, it's like me too, hashtag me too.
- 12:54There are very real victims of real crimes, of horrible people.
- 12:59And you brought up Harvey Weinstein there.
- 13:01Were you? I told you there was a lot to
- 13:02unpack here and I'm don't mean to jump around, but you.
- 13:06Everyone you said I have. So much in.
- 13:08Here OK, so so Harvey Weinstein, yes, he committed very real
- 13:14atrocious crimes and he was a creep.
- 13:17He was a real creep and I know this first hand and I don't
- 13:21gossip. I don't like gossip and I don't
- 13:24bring up. I wouldn't even say anything
- 13:26about Harvey Weinstein if I didn't know and trust this
- 13:29playmate. I cannot disclose her name
- 13:32because it's her story. She hasn't come out with her
- 13:35story yet. She's sort of alluded to it.
- 13:38She may have by now, but I'm not going to mention her name.
- 13:40But she's a playmate who was assaulted by Harvey Weinstein.
- 13:44She wanted to be an actress. She, you know, had these dreams
- 13:49and she had posed for Playboy and all these doors were opening
- 13:52and she got to go meet with Harvey Weinstein.
- 13:55And I mean, he gave power in Hollywood.
- 13:57And she went and met with him and, and he did all the things
- 14:01that you've heard a lot of stories about to her.
- 14:03And she actually went to Hugh Hefner.
- 14:06And she was, I mean, it was horrible what she went through
- 14:10and she was terrified and she went to Hef.
- 14:13She told him what happened and Hugh Hefner there are FBI files
- 14:17too that are awesome. And even though Hugh Hefner may
- 14:20have been AI don't even want to call him a philanderer.
- 14:23Let's just say he loved women and he had a lot of women and
- 14:27that was his pariah but he was not a womanizer.
- 14:32If there is a difference and and people don't understand that
- 14:35like everything has to be black and white and hashtag me too.
- 14:39But there is no evidence from anyone that Hugh Hefner did
- 14:44anything like sexual assault or I mean, let's be real that he
- 14:50had women all over him, you know, and it wasn't my company
- 14:54that way. But he he did and he didn't do
- 14:58those things. He wasn't creepy.
- 15:00He was actually a gentleman by all accounts.
- 15:02And he actually put his empire on the line for this person and
- 15:08went and got the FBI involved and could have, it could have
- 15:12been countersuing, it could have gone public, all of these
- 15:15things. And he was very good at, you
- 15:17know, keeping things under wraps.
- 15:19She didn't want anyone to know. It was that can be very
- 15:22mortifying for for a young woman to experience something like
- 15:26that. And she was traumatized.
- 15:28And Hugh Hefner got her all the help he could possibly get her
- 15:33and even went after, from what I understand, I don't know how he
- 15:39went after Weinstein, but in his own, you know, back channel way,
- 15:43he tried to get him to be held accountable for what he did.
- 15:48And you know, those are things that are in you don't compare
- 15:54apples to oranges. And and I never thought I'd talk
- 15:57about Playboy again. It's something that I had put,
- 16:01you know, in the back of my memories and I didn't know that
- 16:05it was ever going to come up again.
- 16:07And now with cancel culture, I am happy to speak out and stick
- 16:12up for someone who, as you said, has since passed away and cannot
- 16:17defend himself. And I think that it's horrible
- 16:20that it's it's called iconoclastic arrogance.
- 16:25And like I said, few people are icons.
- 16:28And when you have an icon, you have people that want to tear
- 16:31that icon down when they're not happy with themselves and
- 16:34they've never contributed anything.
- 16:36If you really look at anyone that runs their mouth about Hugh
- 16:39Hefner, if you really look into them and their character and how
- 16:44they became who they are, most of them wouldn't be a piss in
- 16:47the wind without Hugh Hefner, even his girlfriends.
- 16:51They wouldn't be they, they wouldn't be relevant.
- 16:53They wouldn't be making the money that they're making.
- 16:56They wouldn't be a spot on the map.
- 16:58They've never contributed anything good to society except
- 17:02for through Hefner. So I find that fascinating that
- 17:06they're trying to cancel someone and bite the hand that fed them.
- 17:11And it, it blows my mind that that people, you know, to be
- 17:16relevant, they, they tear down their icon to put themselves in
- 17:21that icon's place, but they can never do it.
- 17:23It's like you can't. There was one Hugh Hefner and I,
- 17:28I don't know if I, I, you know, went in circles there, but but
- 17:31that's, those are the thoughts I have on that.
- 17:34Listen, I, I'm, I'm happy to, you know, just let you speak off
- 17:39the cough and whatnot. That's kind of what we do here
- 17:42on the show. You know, from my perspective,
- 17:46my grandfather had a subscription to Playboy going
- 17:50back to the 60s and my uncle had a subscription in the early to
- 17:59mid 80s. Even my mother at one point I
- 18:04found out had a subscription because she brought up and I
- 18:09don't even know how this conversation got started, but I
- 18:12was out to dinner with her once and she brought something up.
- 18:16I think about, oh, not Ralph Nader, but Jerry Springer.
- 18:25And I can't remember what the conversation regarding Jerry
- 18:29Springer was, but she cited this interview and said, and then I
- 18:36asked her where she read it and she said Playboy magazine.
- 18:42And me being a teenager at the time, I was like, you're joking,
- 18:46right? And she goes, no.
- 18:49Well, because the perception among most people my age and
- 18:54younger, and I think even most adults is the perception of
- 18:59Playboy is it's just hot blondes and boobs and asses and that's
- 19:05all it is. And that might be, there was
- 19:08maybe the highlights, but the magazine is a lot more in depth
- 19:12than that, like you said, with the interviews and with the
- 19:16journalism and whatnot. And so that was very fascinating
- 19:21to find out that she had a subscription for, for the
- 19:24interviews and whatnot. And also the other women read
- 19:29the magazine. And at one point, I think
- 19:32circulation was like 50 million. And even that statistic could be
- 19:37outdated. But point being, Playboy was
- 19:41part of society. You know, it it like it was a
- 19:46major brand for close to 70 years.
- 19:53You mentioned my book series and Ian Fleming, who wrote James
- 19:57Bond. Not many people know this, but
- 20:00he actually published the first few Bond short stories.
- 20:05In Playboy, and that's how it got developed into a movie.
- 20:10And from what I've heard, I can't confirm this, but the
- 20:14archetype of the Bond girl was based off of the idea of the
- 20:19Playboy Playmate, a strong, beautiful, competent woman,
- 20:25which I can definitely see the parallels there.
- 20:29So I don't necessarily buy this whole notion that you can reduce
- 20:33Playboy to it's just a men's work off magazine because it's
- 20:39way more than that. And I think to classify as that,
- 20:42as some have tried not only denigrates half, also denigrates
- 20:49the women who were part of the magazine.
- 20:54So that's just my whole spiel. I think so too.
- 21:00No, I agree. And and that's what's hurtful to
- 21:03a lot of us that are kind of speaking out against some of
- 21:08these shows that are are coming out that have this it, it's an
- 21:13it is a narrative and they have spun things and and they don't
- 21:18get facts and they didn't know the people and it.
- 21:21I mean, there are so many loopholes and lies that I can't
- 21:24even take it seriously. But yeah, there's no way that
- 21:28there could have been a, a magazine for this many years,
- 21:36for that many years. The, the amount of years that
- 21:38you, it's mind blowing. And it was a whole culture.
- 21:42I mean, you even had some incredible artists, cartoonists,
- 21:45political figures on both sides of the aisle.
- 21:48I mean, it goes on and on and on.
- 21:50I think a lot of people used Playboy for information when
- 21:53they were working on things in college.
- 21:56And I mean, yeah, it, I think everybody has Playboy is part of
- 22:02it was part of pop culture in America.
- 22:06Yeah. That's so funny.
- 22:08Your mom, you know, to your my grandma, whenever I was going to
- 22:13pose for the magazine, I didn't even know what my grandma knew
- 22:15what it was and and she wasn't going to pose for the magazine
- 22:20because I was concerned about my grandma.
- 22:22I was very close to my grandma and I didn't want, you know, to
- 22:26shame her or I so if she said no, I wasn't going to do it.
- 22:30She goes, your grandpa's had those in the basement for years
- 22:36and she said it's I think those women are beautiful.
- 22:39She said if you if you pose for the magazine, then I'm proud of
- 22:43you and you've made the right decision.
- 22:45So she didn't even say that that that was like my door, you know.
- 22:50So, yeah, it's it's it's an interesting, interesting.
- 22:56Yeah. I think he's, I think Hef is a
- 22:59case study that that could help help people politically and
- 23:04everything just because he wasn't a political figure, he
- 23:08wasn't a, you know, but he was a gentleman who would sit down in
- 23:15a room of, of these legendary human beings.
- 23:18It he was about privacy, believe it or not, and, and there were
- 23:22people that didn't want anyone to know they were hanging out at
- 23:25the Playboy Mansion and, and he would protect their privacy.
- 23:30He was all about privacy. He was all about, you know, but
- 23:35not criminality. He loved America.
- 23:38That's another thing people, I think I wish more people knew
- 23:41he, he had, you know, the we would write to the troops during
- 23:46the Gulf War. I was part of that and it was
- 23:49awesome. And so you would encourage the
- 23:52troops. He was very old school when it
- 23:54came to our military, loved and supported our military.
- 23:58He was open to things and it was an open dialogue, which is what
- 24:02freedom is, an exchange of ideas.
- 24:06And that's the only way that you can become a better society is
- 24:10with an exchange of ideas. So his fundamentals, even in his
- 24:17business that became an empire, there was there was honor.
- 24:22You know, there's things that people tell me.
- 24:24Gosh, I can't believe you say this as a Christian.
- 24:27And I'm like it. It's true.
- 24:29I'm not. I mean, I was just studying the
- 24:31other day because I study the Bible and I'm fascinated by it.
- 24:35Solomon, King Solomon. And this pastor set a very
- 24:39interesting point and he goes back to the Greek and the Hebrew
- 24:43and the Aramaic and really breaks down Scripture.
- 24:45It's not like, you know, a feel good church.
- 24:48It's really Bible study. And he said something about King
- 24:51Solomon that reminded me of Hugh Hefner.
- 24:53He said, you know, Solomon in his dying days will tell you
- 24:58those women didn't make him happy.
- 25:00None of the things he had made him happy.
- 25:03He was the richest man on on the earth at one point with
- 25:07hundreds, maybe thousands of concubines.
- 25:10And that didn't make him happy. But he wasn't cruel to women.
- 25:15He didn't rape women. He didn't hurt women.
- 25:17He gave them wonderful gifts. He was extravagant and, and you
- 25:22know, very generous, very, you know, you can have virtues and
- 25:28then be a be a whatever you would call a maybe even it.
- 25:35It doesn't take away your good qualities.
- 25:38Even if the women that loved him so much and wanted him to be
- 25:42monogamous and were hurt by it, they knew what they were getting
- 25:45into. That was his lifestyle that he
- 25:48created and invented. And you know, that's his
- 25:52business. That was privacy.
- 25:54The funny thing is a lot of things that came out later would
- 25:59have never come out because he didn't kiss and tell.
- 26:01And that's I think how Solomon of the, you know, there is a
- 26:04comparison there there. There just is with between
- 26:09Solomon and Hugh Hefner, because I think all of us are kind of a
- 26:11biblical character that you can. I think all of us are kind of a
- 26:14reflection of that is why God shares these Bible stories.
- 26:18But you know it, it cracks me up that people want to paint him as
- 26:24this. He wasn't perfect.
- 26:26He, you know, God reprimanded me in work or whatever.
- 26:31That's not a, that's not even a character flaw.
- 26:35You know what I mean? It's like people are so
- 26:37different nowadays. And, and I think we could learn
- 26:41a lot from Hugh Hefner. I just, I do.
- 26:43He was, he knew how to run a tight ship.
- 26:46He knew how to, and he was so thoughtful.
- 26:48He had hundreds of people that he cared about, that he took
- 26:52care of and made sure that their well-being, you know, even those
- 26:57that worked for him, worked for him for 50 plus years.
- 27:00You can't say that about a lot of people.
- 27:03And I'm sorry, but if you were a criminal or you were a really
- 27:07seedy, shady person, you wouldn't have loyalty.
- 27:10You like that and you wouldn't have loyalty to that person for
- 27:1450 years. And don't tell me that one
- 27:17jilted woman has the, you know, can tell you what his character
- 27:21is. I, I don't believe it.
- 27:24You know, even if you saw a different side of him, I think
- 27:26you may be exaggerating. He's not perfect, but it's a
- 27:30reflection of you when you gossip.
- 27:33It's a reflection of you when you kiss and tell.
- 27:36You know, I I it doesn't matter what what you know, morality or
- 27:43or not. And this is again, I keep
- 27:45mentioning that I'm a Christian, but even as a Christian, your
- 27:48morality is none of my damn business, right?
- 27:51I don't judge you. Yeah, You know what I mean?
- 27:54Like, I I wouldn't have known what you did in the bedroom with
- 27:58Hugh Hefner unless you tell me what you did in the bedroom with
- 28:02Hugh Hefner. To me, that's a reflection of
- 28:04you, not him. Do you know what I mean?
- 28:07And I've seen a few women be like, well, there was all of us
- 28:10in the bedroom and blah, blah, blah.
- 28:13You know what? That would have been bad for his
- 28:15magazine. That's how classy his magazine
- 28:17was until the very end when his eyesight faded and other people
- 28:21started stepping in. If that makes sense it otherwise
- 28:25you know. Yeah, that that was like I
- 28:29turned 18 like right around the time that the magazine really
- 28:33like started to go out down and it was like.
- 28:39Yeah, I think his eyesight wasn't as good.
- 28:41I'm just being honest, 'cause he had really, you know, all women
- 28:46are different. I think that beauty's different
- 28:48for everyone. But he had a, a way of seeing
- 28:52'cause he would really thoroughly pick the Playmates
- 28:56and the girl next door. And that was his idea.
- 28:59And those things, you know, it, there are trends in history.
- 29:04And if you go back it in the 50s when he first started the
- 29:09magazine it, you know, there were ideas that was a majority
- 29:13of men that thought was attractive or they could pick
- 29:16one that they thought was attractive.
- 29:17It's just kind of funny. The whole idea of it is really
- 29:20funny anyway. Well, well, the idea of of the
- 29:26pin up girl goes back to World War Two.
- 29:30It's not something new have facted it, one might argue, but
- 29:39it wasn't his I, you know, necessarily idea initially.
- 29:45And I mean I've it's funny you you mentioned, you know, writing
- 29:50to the troops and whatnot. One of my neighbors who served
- 29:55in Vietnam, the day after Hugh Hefner died, he showed me he had
- 30:03a he still had his copy of Playboy from December of 68,
- 30:11which was Cynthia Myers issue and she was an icon of the
- 30:19Vietnam War. And obviously I can't show the
- 30:25images, you know, on Spotify or YouTube, but the audience is
- 30:29crafty enough to look it up if they're so, you know, inclined
- 30:33to. But you.
- 30:35Know that Hef hef. Yeah, I don't mean to cut you
- 30:38off, but I, I, I, I if you'll continue with that thought, but
- 30:43just just you may have already know this, but Hef and he never
- 30:48bragged about what he did. So he but he sent Playmates on
- 30:52his Playboy. He had a jet, the Playboy jet
- 30:56with the big Bunny head. And he flew into Vietnam and
- 30:59they saved a bunch of they took a bunch of Vietnamese orphans
- 31:05and and cared for those orphans and brought them back to
- 31:08America. You know that we're victims of
- 31:11of the war at that horrible, cautious, one of the worst.
- 31:15I still think that's one of the most horrible wars, but go on.
- 31:19I I didn't mean to. Yeah.
- 31:21No, I I agree, I agree with you. And it's funny because like I
- 31:26am, I wouldn't really say I'm conservative.
- 31:29I'm more conservative libertarian, but I'm also kind
- 31:33of anti war. I'm also kind of an anti war
- 31:37conservative now, which is weird because that used to be
- 31:40considered a liberal value and now things have kind of flipped
- 31:47flopped. Funny how that works.
- 31:50But anyway, you know, as I was saying with my with my, you
- 31:55know, neighbor, he was saying that, you know, he grew up in,
- 32:01you know, a smaller town where there weren't a lot of no women.
- 32:07So, you know, when he when he shipped off to Vietnam, I think
- 32:11at 18, and then a lot of the Vietnam vets and troops got
- 32:17complimentary Playboy subscription and he was one of
- 32:21them. And so seeing her and seeing her
- 32:24as an icon of the Vietnam War really meant a lot to him and
- 32:29all of the Vietnam vets. And, you know, same is true for
- 32:34veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan and the Gulf War and whatnot.
- 32:39So again. I just have a real.
- 32:42Problem with like, you know, there is me too and there is the
- 32:46Harvey Weinstein stuff and I think it's great that all that
- 32:50got exposed. But what has happened now is a
- 32:58lot of these activist types have taken me to, and they've
- 33:04conflated, you know, guy who has ever looked at, you know, an
- 33:09attractive woman. And they've tried to put us all
- 33:12in the same boat with the Harvey Weinstein's and the Bill Cosby's
- 33:16of the world. And then they wonder why there's
- 33:20such a backlash. And I mean, I'm, I'm sorry, but
- 33:24if you know, I don't consider myself a misogynist at all.
- 33:30You know, I thought misogynist hate women and you know, half of
- 33:35the ladies and obviously either too.
- 33:39My audience always give me a bit of a trap for that.
- 33:42But you know, that is what it is.
- 33:45So I just, I find this whole idea of misogyny and what not to
- 33:52be a bit conflated nowadays. I agree.
- 33:58I agree, you know, and we should have the freedom.
- 34:02And here's the difference. If someone is into their
- 34:04pronouns and into their, you know, sexual gender identity
- 34:10issues and all of the things that they bring up now, you
- 34:15know, to each his own privacy, right?
- 34:17I don't, I don't don't convert my thinking.
- 34:21I've never had that thinking before.
- 34:23I think a majority of us never even heard of what's going on
- 34:26nowadays. But I, I love masculinity and
- 34:31femininity and we should never be ashamed of that.
- 34:34We should never be ashamed that a man's attracted to a woman or
- 34:38that, you know, a man feels that there are certain gender, you
- 34:43know, that there are gender roles.
- 34:45You can't abolish that because somebody doesn't like it.
- 34:49That's not freedom. It's it's freedom when we can
- 34:54individually think about what we wanna think about.
- 34:57It's you know, you just mentioned you, you're anti war.
- 35:01Well, none of us wants war if you unless you're a psycho, I
- 35:05think. But I also believe that freedom
- 35:09comes through military victory. Sadly, there are evil people
- 35:12that exist, right? You know, you go back if if
- 35:16there's there's a book called Man in the High Castle.
- 35:19That's an excellent perspective and I love perspectives.
- 35:23And I think every young person person should read that book.
- 35:27I think it was in the late 60s that it was written or early
- 35:3060s, but they adapted it to the screen, which I think you should
- 35:34do with all your books. And I want to tell you the
- 35:36actors that should play them. Just kidding, but not.
- 35:40I bet I. Bet.
- 35:41Do it. OK, yeah, we'll have to talk
- 35:46about that. But the Man in the High Castle,
- 35:50they made ATV series, I think it was on Amazon and I watched it
- 35:53for I I binge watched it. But it's a perspective and it's
- 35:57as if Japan and Germany because remember in World War Two, we
- 36:02were in a real war on two fronts defending America.
- 36:07You know, Japan really wanted our demise.
- 36:10And and sadly, as horrible as that atomic bomb was that did
- 36:15that was game over. You know, all of those things
- 36:18are horrific. They really war is horrific.
- 36:22But had we not, had not good men and women stepped up at all
- 36:28costs to defend. And it gives me goosebumps
- 36:31because I think because of World War Two, we've had freedoms that
- 36:35are here today, but they're being lost had we not won the
- 36:39war. And that's what the man in the
- 36:41High Castle is a perspective. It's as if Japan, you know, that
- 36:45the whole Japan and Germany had won the war and they were each
- 36:52occupying in the United States. And it shows how awful with the
- 36:57ideology, obviously, of, of Hitler and just how evil Nazism
- 37:05was and the Nazis and they controlled and they were allies
- 37:09with Japan. So it's so bizarre to watch.
- 37:12But what it did for me, it made me think every, every American
- 37:17should watch it and appreciate what we have today.
- 37:20Because had they won, that's exactly what it would have.
- 37:24It's, it would have been very much like that, probably worse,
- 37:29probably worse. And I'm, I'm like, my gosh, I'm
- 37:33so grateful for what we've had. But then now we have, you know,
- 37:39if you have any history background, which I know you do,
- 37:44you understand that, you know, what was this name that said we
- 37:49learned from history, that we learned nothing from history?
- 37:54But you go back to history. Socialism has never worked.
- 37:58It brings starvation and horrible people begging for
- 38:02bread. It's horrible when you try to
- 38:04give everybody equal amounts or, you know, and when few people
- 38:09are in power and there's not a system of checks and balances
- 38:13like we used to have. And I think that's got to come
- 38:16back. We're in trouble.
- 38:17But socialism has never worked. Communism has never worked, but
- 38:22you have people that really believe that it does and Marxism
- 38:26and, and we have that at the helm right now.
- 38:28And I don't, I, I, I wish people would learn more about that.
- 38:32And I think kind of man in the High Castle kind of shows you
- 38:35that anyway. There.
- 38:38Well, it's interesting that you bring up the whole thing with
- 38:41socialism and communism because there's a very interesting
- 38:45series. It's it's been over probably for
- 38:51I think close to a decade now, but there was a series called
- 38:56The Americans about a Soviet couple that, you know, they're
- 39:02spies and they pose as U.S. citizens.
- 39:06It takes place during the 80s and they basically, you know, at
- 39:14first they try to subvert America and then.
- 39:18They. Eventually come to find out that
- 39:22hey, they actually like living in America and.
- 39:25In freedom. You know, Reagan might not be
- 39:29perfect, but he's better than, you know, the Communist Party
- 39:36and behind the it's, it's very, it's a very interesting series,
- 39:43you know, especially to hear, you know, things from the
- 39:47Russian point of view. And the guy who wrote it, I
- 39:50think was he worked at the CI desk in Berlin for a number of
- 39:59years during the Cold War. So, you know, that's an that's
- 40:05another varianting theories. But by getting back to your
- 40:10career, I I have to ask and I hope I'm wording this.
- 40:17Appropriately, but I've noticed, well, you've also had a pretty
- 40:24abstained home career as well, which kudos to you.
- 40:32But I I do have to wonder because you seem very private
- 40:36and you don't seem too enthralled with a celebrity
- 40:41culture at all just based off of my observations, even though
- 40:48you're you yourself could be considered a celebrity.
- 40:53So I have to ask, why have you chosen to go the route of being,
- 41:00I guess an independent actress and, you know, take small roles
- 41:03and live more of a private life as opposed to possibly being
- 41:09more of an A Lister? Because I'm, I'm assuming you
- 41:11had some opportunities and I'm just curious if being a
- 41:18celebrity was one of your goals or if you constantly chose to, I
- 41:27guess take a step back. So.
- 41:31I think the latter. I think you hit the nail on the
- 41:34head. I chose to step back.
- 41:38I was very young when I, again, Playboy for me started opening
- 41:44doors and I was, I hate to use the word fearful, but maybe I
- 41:52was, I was a baby and I saw things, but I wasn't naive in
- 41:58the sense that I could pick up on what was phony and what was
- 42:01real and solid. And, and I, my mom always says
- 42:06she ran from Hollywood and I kind of did because I was there
- 42:10and I didn't, I also didn't have the tools then that I have now
- 42:15where I just didn't have a goal. Like you just said, I didn't
- 42:21have celebrity in my sights. I wasn't like Hollywood.
- 42:24I'm going to go be a star. I sort of by default.
- 42:27And I blame it on my friend Drew Johnson, who directed a film, my
- 42:32first producing effort. Actually, I it was called the
- 42:36Road home and they retitled and repackaged it and called it
- 42:41pitcher like baseball pitcher and the pin up.
- 42:44And it's it's a heart warming, sweet love story.
- 42:47I'm very proud of it because of how, you know, we were kids
- 42:52making a movie in our 20s. That said that taught me a lot
- 42:57about Hollywood and people and the echelon and the whole thing.
- 43:02But he also made me love where I just, I never understood the
- 43:09craft of acting. I never, I, I, I was an
- 43:13entertainer from the time I'm a kid.
- 43:15It's just innate. We're all made differently,
- 43:17right? We're all different human
- 43:19beings. Some of us use our intellect.
- 43:21You're a writer. You know, people have different
- 43:24outlets. Some people are more physical
- 43:26than others. Some people are more mental than
- 43:28others. You know, all of our different
- 43:31makeup and for me, I was always head in the clouds as a kid.
- 43:35I'm also a writer. I write poetry and, and I've
- 43:38always had have that creative outlet.
- 43:41I used to love to do, you know, anything creative and and I was
- 43:46always in dance recitals, all of these types of things.
- 43:50And but I never understood, you know, when I saw Deborah Winger,
- 43:55an officer and a gentleman, when I Shelley Winters, who
- 44:00encouraged me from to want to be an actress.
- 44:02Believe it or not, when I first saw Shelley Winters in Pete's
- 44:05Dragon and she has no, you know, her teeth are missing and she's.
- 44:10Pretty, pretty, pretty. And I thought, I want to do that
- 44:15when I was a little girl, but I never knew how to get there.
- 44:18I didn't realize there was acting classes.
- 44:20I didn't realize there was how to, you know, come up with a
- 44:24character. I would do it innately, you
- 44:26know, just because I love doing it.
- 44:28But Drew went to film school and I always wanted, and he's one of
- 44:33my best friends. And I always, he would put me in
- 44:36his short films. He works at Paramount now and
- 44:39does a lot of editing for Paramount Pictures.
- 44:43But so he wrote a a a film and it would win awards and go to
- 44:50the directors Guild and he would put me in all of his films and I
- 44:56enjoyed it. But I never I even then as I was
- 44:59learning and then realizing, oh, I better learn the craft of
- 45:02acting. And then, you know, I think I
- 45:05got my first role when I was pregnant with my daughter.
- 45:08That made me SAG eligible Screen Actors Guild.
- 45:13This, you know, you have to join the union to be in, you know,
- 45:17anyway, so I, I had one line or not.
- 45:21No, it wasn't one line. It was a few lines with Rick
- 45:24Springfield in a show called High Tide.
- 45:27And I'd just given birth. I was still breastfeeding.
- 45:30My husband brought my daughter to my trailer and I, you know,
- 45:32I'm like, Oh my gosh, here I am with a baby and playing a
- 45:38teenage motel clerk and I fell in love with being on set and
- 45:44but I, I had a family. So I've always kind of been
- 45:48sidetracked and not narrow minded to get anywhere.
- 45:53It was okay, somebody called me and wanted me to do this.
- 45:57Okay, somebody called me and wanted me to do this.
- 46:00And then it's just always found me Sam, because I love it and
- 46:06Hollywood has never loved me back.
- 46:08And that's OK. I'm fine with it as long as I
- 46:10can do things that I love and I enjoy.
- 46:13I'll always work very, very hard.
- 46:15I'm a team player. But you know, if, if I want to
- 46:19be funny, but who knows, it could be true.
- 46:23I may have already been cancelled.
- 46:25You know, I, I cancelled. But it's fun that, that some
- 46:29people, you know, want me to play with them and I'll play
- 46:32with them because it's fun. And, and I but my heart, I would
- 46:37love to make more movies into my old age.
- 46:39I would love to start directing. I have a few projects in the
- 46:42works that I'm hoping to get funded because I love it.
- 46:47And there are a lot of independent film makers and then
- 46:49people even leaving Hollywood and some big names right now
- 46:52that are leaving Hollywood because it's no fun anymore.
- 46:57It's not entertaining when it's an agenda.
- 47:00It's not entertaining when it's part of it's not fun anymore.
- 47:06When you're pushing a narrative. It's it's not characters that
- 47:10you want to identify with and feel for and love.
- 47:13There's no love anymore. I'm just being honest.
- 47:16I watch movies, some of these new movies or even some of the
- 47:20animated films, and I'm like, they are pushing, they're just
- 47:25pushing a narrative. And instead of can I just enjoy
- 47:29things? And it's not funny anymore.
- 47:33It's not. No one has a sense of humor
- 47:35anymore. We can't laugh at ourselves
- 47:37anymore. I mean, there's a lot of great
- 47:40art, don't get me wrong, but there's a lot of money behind
- 47:46something I I don't feel like is good for our country or good for
- 47:51people. Yeah, you know that are hurting
- 47:54people anyway, so maybe I'm cancelled.
- 47:59But thank you. Thank you for saying I have a
- 48:01good career, somebody that, you know, maybe someday I'll make a
- 48:06living at it. Hey, it's, you know, it's, it's
- 48:10better than it's, you know, a lot of people do and you know,
- 48:16I, I know. A lot of people.
- 48:21Well, well, you certainly have that, you know, you seem to have
- 48:24the attitude which, you know, I is something I admire about you
- 48:29and that I've and I picked up on right away, even before I met
- 48:33you, that you just seem to have this attitude that is very like,
- 48:39I don't, you know, I'm not going to draw names, but I've met, you
- 48:44know, people who are aspiring actors or actresses and they
- 48:49seem to think that, you know, they're entitled to a role or
- 48:57that, you know, they're they're God's gift to, you know, women
- 49:03or men in some cases. What happened?
- 49:07And it's like, well, there might be some tell, I'm not denying
- 49:13that, but there's a lot more ego than anything.
- 49:17And I. Oh, no doubt about it.
- 49:20Hollywood is, is probably filled with narcissists and people with
- 49:26mental illness that I mean, you could go on and on.
- 49:28I don't mean to, you know, ever tear anyone down because it is
- 49:32an art form and it's very selfless.
- 49:34I mean, there are a lot of very selfless actors that do a
- 49:37phenomenal job. But yes, the, the entitlement,
- 49:41the sense of entitlement, the believing, I always say you
- 49:43believe it. I mean, I was engaged to a very
- 49:45famous person at one point and, and before I met my husband and
- 49:50I remember looking at him one day and going, he believes it.
- 49:55And then there's an arrogance and I, I think because of the
- 49:58way I was raised and my mom always teaching me, you know,
- 50:03and it's the opposite today. Everybody's like, you know,
- 50:06which you should be confident. There's confident there.
- 50:09You can be confident and not arrogant.
- 50:11You can be confident in your skills.
- 50:13And but arrogance is when you're, you really put yourself
- 50:17above people. And I think that's ugly.
- 50:19And my mom used to, you know, never let another man praise
- 50:22you, not from your own lips. You, I mean, never praise you,
- 50:26let another man praise you not from your own mouth.
- 50:29And my mom used to think, you know, she always taught me and,
- 50:32and we used to learn this growing up, even in elementary
- 50:35school for me, I remember girls would say, Oh my gosh, she
- 50:38thinks she's so hot. And, and it was ugly when you
- 50:42thought you were beautiful or if you really believed you were.
- 50:46So it was instilled from me. I remember my meemaw when I was
- 50:49little because me and my brother and my sister, my brother, my
- 50:52sister and I got a lot of compliments and my mom would
- 50:56always, you know, they're like, put your kids in commercials.
- 50:59They're so they're so cute. They're so this, they're so
- 51:01that. My mom would always say, don't
- 51:02let that go to your head. You're not that cute.
- 51:04You know, things like that in it.
- 51:07And it is. There's an ugliness because
- 51:10those things aren't what matter. You know, what you look like or
- 51:13what someone thinks you look like really isn't what matters.
- 51:16Now, it might contribute to certain things in life, you
- 51:21know, but it's not reality. You don't love someone because
- 51:25of what they look like. You don't, you know, it's your
- 51:28soul and your soul rapport. But I appreciate that you would
- 51:32notice something like that about me, Sam.
- 51:35I've never quite heard anyone say that to me the way you just
- 51:38did. And, and I'm gonna take it as a
- 51:41compliment because, and I think it's not for me.
- 51:45It's and I, I, I believe that is my relationship with God.
- 51:48And I will tell people that I don't get the glory.
- 51:50God gets the glory. And I think there's a difference
- 51:53there. Maybe, you know, maybe that's
- 51:55what you see. Maybe you see that I, I love God
- 51:58and he, I know that the only way I'm worthy is because he's
- 52:02worthy. And, and for me, the grace
- 52:05gospel, it's the most beautiful message and I love to give it as
- 52:08much as I can because God's a gentleman.
- 52:11He doesn't force us to do anything.
- 52:13Not like religion, not like you do this or die or, or, or, you
- 52:16know, but God's point of reference with us is the cross.
- 52:20And that's what the cross of Christ is for me.
- 52:24You know, I'm not, I'm just and one of my favorite scriptures is
- 52:28Ephesians 289. It's by grace and grace is so
- 52:34hard for man to comprehend because we always do the work.
- 52:38We get the glory. You know, look how hard I
- 52:40worked, look how great I am, right?
- 52:43I even religion, if I do this, this and this or don't do this,
- 52:47this and this, I'll work my way to heaven.
- 52:50No, God says it's by grace that you're saved through faith and
- 52:54that's a non meritorious act. It's by grace that you're saved
- 52:58through faith. It's a gift of God.
- 53:00That means it's a gift that he's handing out and giving us.
- 53:03Not of works works is religion works says I'm going to add
- 53:08something. I'm going to be a Co savior.
- 53:10I'm going to do something for salvation.
- 53:12I'm going to change my personality.
- 53:15I'm going to do this. No, it's by grace that you're
- 53:17saved through faith. It's a gift of God, not of
- 53:21works, lest any man should boast.
- 53:23Because if we do all the work, we do all the glory.
- 53:26I mean get all the glory, but God did all the work, He gets
- 53:29all the glory. And John 316 says for God's to
- 53:33love the world, that's every person that ever existed, every
- 53:38nationality, skin color, no issue.
- 53:41It's always for God so loved the world that he gave his only son.
- 53:45He was uniquely born. He's the only man 'cause it took
- 53:49a man to take our place. Because we're born separated
- 53:52from God. We're born sinners.
- 53:54A lot of people don't know that. They just go about life and
- 53:57think, well look how great things are going for me.
- 54:00But we're all sinners. We are all, excuse my language,
- 54:04I will use a bad word. We're all fuck ups in our own
- 54:07way. No matter who we are, we all are
- 54:10born with sin. And if you believe in Jesus
- 54:13Christ, he gives you his righteousness, not ours.
- 54:17Nothing we could do. So if you say I believe in Jesus
- 54:21Christ and his finished work on the cross, because what he did
- 54:23on the cross, he didn't, He wasn't just hung there.
- 54:27If you know the history, common criminals, you know, real
- 54:31hardened criminals, that's what they did.
- 54:33That was their capital murder back then.
- 54:35They would put him on a cross and he was hung between two real
- 54:40criminals and you had Pharisees that were religious and they
- 54:44hated him. They hated Christ because they
- 54:47were jealous of him. He was getting all the
- 54:49attention. He was teaching truth.
- 54:51He was the Son of God. He wasn't being blasphemous.
- 54:53He was the Son of God. He said that only by me can you
- 54:56get to the Father. So for God so loved the world
- 55:00they that he gave his only Son Jesus Christ who grew.
- 55:04He was born of a virgin, had no sin.
- 55:06He's the only human being that had no sin nature.
- 55:10So he was the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary.
- 55:14Here the Messiah is born and he lives a sinless life and he's 33
- 55:19years old. He goes to the cross.
- 55:20All of our sins, your sins, my sins, the sins of the world
- 55:24poured out on him and judged it's perfect justice judged in
- 55:30him. And a supernatural darkness
- 55:32covered him. For three whole hours He hung
- 55:35there in agony. For three hours, all of the
- 55:38sins, the worst things you can think of, Hitler, I mean, it's
- 55:41horrible, were judged in his body and he was cut off from the
- 55:46father. So he was connected to the
- 55:48father 'cause he was perfect and it was the first time.
- 55:51And he covered him in a supernatural darkness to hide
- 55:54the shame, 'cause he loved his son.
- 55:56His Son was precious to him and he didn't want anyone to see how
- 55:59painful that was. You couldn't see in front of
- 56:02your hand if you put your hand up when you when the when Jesus
- 56:06was paying for our sins, he was the ransom.
- 56:08He who knew no sin was made sin for us so that we can know the
- 56:13righteousness of God. And when you believe in Jesus
- 56:16Christ, anyone anywhere can do it.
- 56:18It's privacy, it's freedom, it's volition.
- 56:21It's the only true freedom that God gives.
- 56:24And you believe it and you receive it.
- 56:26You have this righteousness just by a thought, just by saying
- 56:30it's little more faith than none at all, the faith of a mustard
- 56:33seed. I believe in Jesus Christ and
- 56:36you have the gift of eternal life.
- 56:38And I think there's nothing more beautiful than that.
- 56:41For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so whoever
- 56:44believes in him has the gift of eternal life.
- 56:47Bam, done. I just love it.
- 56:50Well. That's, that's, that is a
- 56:53sentiment I that I share personally, I feel very blessed.
- 56:59I feel called to do what I do and it's been a blessing.
- 57:05To that end, I am curious and this does lead into kind of
- 57:11fitting segue. Obviously you have a very strong
- 57:16faith, and I've always been curious.
- 57:22I asked this not as someone who was judging you, but who has
- 57:25heard other Christians be judgmental.
- 57:29Well, you know. How?
- 57:31Can, you know, how can she justify being a Christian if she
- 57:36posed for Playboy? You know, and I, I've heard
- 57:40other, you know, Playmates like Peggy Mackintaggart be subjected
- 57:46to kind of that same ridicule. So how do you I guess?
- 57:55I don't know. You know, reconcile is the right
- 57:57word, but I guess how do you, just by experience, you know,
- 58:03posing for something as controversial quote UN quote as
- 58:07Playboy. Well, I haven't.
- 58:08I've had my my struggles with it because, you know, well, for one
- 58:13thing, I wish I could say, oh, I was an unbeliever and then I
- 58:17came to know Christ as my Savior.
- 58:18But I don't even remember when I believed in Christ.
- 58:21I was so little. I had that childlike faith.
- 58:23My mom told me about Jesus when I was a little girl.
- 58:26So I can't tell you I was an unbeliever.
- 58:29Then I came to know Christ afterward as a believer.
- 58:33There are different stages in your spiritual walk also and we
- 58:37start out Brefos it's called in the Greek and that's a baby
- 58:40believer. We're Brefos and then you become
- 58:44an adolescent believer. You know, as you grow as you
- 58:46learn the Bible and you're you're you're on a a growth.
- 58:50Some people never grow. They stay a baby believer, but
- 58:53some people want to grow up spiritually, learn about God's
- 58:57word. And I, I knew I was a believer.
- 59:01I, I used to confess my sins at night before bed first John 19.
- 59:06I would be like, I'm sorry, I thought this I and I would go to
- 59:09bed and sleep really good. And I never thought about, I
- 59:14never thought about it, I guess. And I'm not saying I was like
- 59:19Miss Innocent or anything, but there's a, a scripture in the
- 59:22Bible that says to the pure, all things are pure, right?
- 59:25And I was, I never saw anything bad.
- 59:28And God protected me. Like I, I took photos.
- 59:32Yeah. I wasn't like a crazy sexual
- 59:37pervert or, you know, like I, I look back and I'm, I'm like, I
- 59:40was pretty innocent. It's quite a funny.
- 59:43I never was naked in front of a man until I posed for Playboy.
- 59:47It was like that, you know, so I, I didn't, I didn't think
- 59:52about it, but I saw things that was almost like God revealed to
- 59:56me through just the world and going to Hollywood and then
- 1:00:00travelling with Playboy and just seeing people's behavior, like
- 1:00:03maybe I wouldn't have because I was kind of the sheltered middle
- 1:00:07class kid. It made me seek God because I
- 1:00:11didn't want those things. I didn't want the lust for fame.
- 1:00:14I didn't want the. It, there was just a lot coming
- 1:00:19at me and, and celebrities wanting to date me and, and it
- 1:00:22felt seedy. It felt gross.
- 1:00:23And that's just my personal experience.
- 1:00:26Not saying that that would be, you know, that was my personal
- 1:00:28experience. And I, when I got pregnant,
- 1:00:31'cause I, when I met my husband and, and got pregnant with my
- 1:00:35daughter, I fell in love with my husband because he was this
- 1:00:40gentleman from Texas. He's opening the door for me.
- 1:00:42He was simple and humble and sweet and all of these things
- 1:00:47and I thought I don't, I liked that, you know, it felt like
- 1:00:51home to me. And when I got pregnant with my
- 1:00:53daughter is when I got, I call it getting positive.
- 1:00:57You know, you can go on negative or positive with God.
- 1:01:00I went on this positive. I wanted to know God.
- 1:01:04All of a sudden I'm pregnant and I'm like, I married this man and
- 1:01:08I don't really know him. I felt like that, you know, all
- 1:01:11of a sudden I everything felt foreign.
- 1:01:13I'm like, fame didn't make me happy.
- 1:01:16Money doesn't make you, you know, all these things.
- 1:01:20I thought, and now I'm going to have a baby.
- 1:01:22And that's when I turned back to God where I said, if you're
- 1:01:26there, I, I had gone kind of so far as to does he exist?
- 1:01:30And I was, I have already placed my faith in Christ and I was
- 1:01:34like, if you exist, show me, show me.
- 1:01:38I want to know you and I want to raise this baby the way you want
- 1:01:42me to. You created me.
- 1:01:44I'm going to have a baby that I want to be able to teach about
- 1:01:47you. And for me personally, I found
- 1:01:51these tapes my dad used to listen to and it was a pastor
- 1:01:55called RB Theme. And I started listening to the,
- 1:01:59it was called the Basics. And then I, I listened first of
- 1:02:02all to his tapes. They were first Timothy tapes
- 1:02:05and I put them in the tape. My husband thought I'd lost my
- 1:02:08mind. He's like what is happening to
- 1:02:09her? And I started learning the Greek
- 1:02:12and the Hebrew and the Aramaic and he taught me these basic,
- 1:02:15simple, how to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
- 1:02:18I never knew I could be filled. I but I was doing that at night,
- 1:02:23naming my sins, you know, But he breaks it down that there is,
- 1:02:30it's like if you're going to be a doctor or a search and you
- 1:02:32have to learn. It's the same thing with the
- 1:02:34Bible, basic instructions before leaving earth, we need to
- 1:02:38understand the instructions or you know, what you feed your
- 1:02:43soul is important. And and I started just eating, I
- 1:02:46call it eating those morsels of God's word, the gold, silver and
- 1:02:51precious stones. And so once I started doing
- 1:02:53that, I'm sorry to blab and go the long way, but once I started
- 1:02:59doing that, I had some guilt immediately about having posed
- 1:03:04for Playboy. And then and I and my husband
- 1:03:08had some jealousy issues. He would kill me for saying so.
- 1:03:10We went through a lot of horrible things and and you
- 1:03:14know, it bothered him that other men had seen my body.
- 1:03:17Totally understandable. I have this total guilt and then
- 1:03:21the same pastors teaching me guilt is a sin.
- 1:03:24You're not supposed to be guilty If you function by guilt, you
- 1:03:28can't even function in life. Like I'm learning all of these
- 1:03:31fundamentals that started building things in my soul that
- 1:03:35went that was part of my tapestry that God was weaving in
- 1:03:39my life. There's no accident that I did
- 1:03:42Playboy. There's no accident.
- 1:03:44I'm on this podcast with you. There's no accident that anyone
- 1:03:48would be interested in that. So God takes the weak things of
- 1:03:52this world, the weak things of this world and he come founds
- 1:03:57the mighty and all that means is sometimes people wouldn't even
- 1:04:00listen unless you're in your position, Sam, unless I went
- 1:04:05through the things I went through.
- 1:04:07There are you have your own ministry.
- 1:04:09I have my own ministry that nobody else may not listen, but
- 1:04:13they're like, wait a minute, She's gone down the same Rd.
- 1:04:17I have and has no guilt or whatever.
- 1:04:19I mean, there are, you know, if you've believed in Christ, that
- 1:04:23I mean there's hookers for Jesus, there's strippers, right,
- 1:04:25You know what I mean? Like it it it's God doesn't look
- 1:04:30at us that way. He doesn't, he doesn't look at
- 1:04:32me and go, Oh, you know, he doesn't look at me and say,
- 1:04:36especially now I'm 52, who cares?
- 1:04:38Even when I was young and people thought I was beautiful, it's
- 1:04:41like God doesn't look at the outward.
- 1:04:44He looks at our soul. He doesn't say arena because you
- 1:04:47pose for the magazine. I'm finding special favor on you
- 1:04:50because you're beautiful. It's like God doesn't even look
- 1:04:53at us like that. He doesn't The people that he
- 1:04:57that find favor with God have his word in their soul.
- 1:05:01They, they love him. He's the one worthy.
- 1:05:04The only thing worthy of God's love is God.
- 1:05:06The only thing worthy of Him is his Word.
- 1:05:09And if and and everything else, it doesn't matter.
- 1:05:12We don't take anything but God and his word with us to heaven,
- 1:05:15right? So yeah, anyway.
- 1:05:19I do think that internal beauty does reflect though on the
- 1:05:25outside eventually and that. You.
- 1:05:29Know, I think that's very clear, you know, just from meeting you
- 1:05:36and meeting other people in my life too, you know, my my woman,
- 1:05:41my mother is a woman of faith and she is still objectively
- 1:05:45beautiful even in her, you know, mid to late 60s and many other.
- 1:05:54Because of God. She's beautiful.
- 1:05:57I. Yeah.
- 1:05:59And his love. Because there's nothing more
- 1:06:01beautiful than love. And I think some of the most
- 1:06:05loving, thoughtful, 'cause you do end up with the virtues of
- 1:06:09Christ when you love him and he pours his love through you.
- 1:06:13So I imagine you see that with your mom.
- 1:06:16Yeah. Yeah, and I see that with other,
- 1:06:19you know, women. And same is true for men.
- 1:06:24Oh yeah, contrarily, you see men and women who are toxic, and
- 1:06:31there are toxic women out there too.
- 1:06:34And it does flecked on, you know, everyone's.
- 1:06:41I think it ages us. I always say God and His love is
- 1:06:45the fountain of youth because sometimes people age poorly
- 1:06:50because of the bitterness in their soul.
- 1:06:52Or, you know, and I think God is the only one that can remove
- 1:06:56those things because love is the only thing that can soften a
- 1:07:00bitter heart. Or, you know, anything like
- 1:07:03that, 'cause I know, I know what you're saying.
- 1:07:08Well, you, you even, you even said, I think about a month ago,
- 1:07:13I saw your post on Instagram where it was, it was Hef's
- 1:07:17birthday and you wrote a pretty long, you know, paragraph.
- 1:07:23It was more than a paragraph on Hef and I can't remember the
- 1:07:27entire thing, but I do remember at one point you said that
- 1:07:33because of meeting half that your faith grew as a result of
- 1:07:40that. Or, I don't know if you said it
- 1:07:43exactly in those words, but you. You said.
- 1:07:46Something but you said something pretty close and that was that
- 1:07:50was really profound to me because half has been demonized
- 1:07:56by religious, you know, zealotypes and he's strangely
- 1:08:04been demonized now by agnostic and atheist.
- 1:08:09Poor guy just can't get a break. I I guess, even in even in
- 1:08:14death. But it does strike, you know it.
- 1:08:18It did strike me that you made that comment and I that was kind
- 1:08:24when I felt like I've got to have Ron now because this is not
- 1:08:29a perspective that you hear very often and it's a very unique
- 1:08:34one, I think. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:08:39And that's again, you know, it poured from my heart because,
- 1:08:44and which says a lot about hef. It poured from my heart because
- 1:08:48it's true. For one thing, I I never saw
- 1:08:51anything but kindness from him. He was never creepy to me and we
- 1:08:55never had a relationship like you know, he had with a lot of
- 1:08:57the girls, but or a few of them anyway, comparatively, but he
- 1:09:04was I I also saw in Hef a sadness and and when I say that
- 1:09:10it's I saw that everything that he had, it was a superficial
- 1:09:15happiness and but I loved Hef as a friend, as a person.
- 1:09:21I, I really enjoyed his company. I enjoyed his conversation as,
- 1:09:25as so many people will tell you, he was a wonderful
- 1:09:28conversationalist and very thoughtful, more thoughtful than
- 1:09:33many of my friends, so-called friends throughout the years
- 1:09:36that still don't know anything about me.
- 1:09:39I mean, he would remember family members because all of my family
- 1:09:42came to my Playmate of the Year party.
- 1:09:44He had conversations with each of them and he had a
- 1:09:47photographic memory and he would remember aunt he, he said, I, I,
- 1:09:52he's like, oh, how's your aunt? And would remember how many kids
- 1:09:56she, I mean, and your cousins like, and, and I mean, a few
- 1:10:01people are that thoughtful. And, and so I cared about Hef
- 1:10:05and, and, and I know that Hef cared about me.
- 1:10:08So as a friend and, and I always wanted I, you know, of course
- 1:10:14you want the people you love to be in heaven.
- 1:10:16And I, I wrote him a letter, gosh, it was probably a few
- 1:10:21years before he died and I had gone to one of the movie nights
- 1:10:25and I stopped. I, I declined because my husband
- 1:10:28had no interest in going to the Playboy Mansion.
- 1:10:32But I was on the list for years. And it's it, you know, it's hard
- 1:10:35to get on the list in the 1st place.
- 1:10:37And like most of the Playmates, we were all on there and, and
- 1:10:41you can just call and, and go for movie night.
- 1:10:44And I did that, but I hadn't been to any of the parties in
- 1:10:46years. And I, I do have regrets for not
- 1:10:50going because he had the best parties, I think in, I mean,
- 1:10:55anywhere in Hollywood, you know, in Beverly Hills.
- 1:10:58And I regret not going to a lot of those parties.
- 1:11:02But that said, maybe I do, maybe I don't, whatever.
- 1:11:06But I always hoped that he had believed in Christ 'cause I know
- 1:11:11there were many of us that are Christians, Christian playmates
- 1:11:14that all prayed for him. And throughout the years, I
- 1:11:17think even what was her name? Gosh, she was like one of the
- 1:11:21first nude pin UPS. She was friends with Hef and she
- 1:11:26kind of went off the radar. Betty Page.
- 1:11:30And, and I think she had given him the gospel.
- 1:11:33I think a lot of people have given him the gospel throughout
- 1:11:36the years. And I wrote him a letter and I
- 1:11:37said that I reminded him of that 'cause I had heard about that.
- 1:11:40I said all these girls. I said, Hef, you've given us so
- 1:11:43much. I said here you gave this middle
- 1:11:46class girl from Las Vegas an opportunity I never would have
- 1:11:50had opened doors to me. I never never would have been
- 1:11:52opened. I learned things I never would
- 1:11:55have learned. Not one bad experience, all
- 1:11:57good. I was very protected.
- 1:11:58We had security and we're very protected and around very, you
- 1:12:04know, just fascinating people and and just the most
- 1:12:08intelligent people, successful people.
- 1:12:11I learned things I never would have learned.
- 1:12:13So I wrote him a letter along those lines.
- 1:12:15I said, but one thing I know is that all of the things, you
- 1:12:20know, none of those things are going to matter when we take our
- 1:12:23last breath. We can't take any of it with us.
- 1:12:27And I just said I gave him the gospel.
- 1:12:29I don't remember how I know the Holy Spirit made it clear to him
- 1:12:33and I just hope and pray he got that because I know he was
- 1:12:36married to Crystal at the time and and I know a lot of things
- 1:12:40had changed. But I hope she read it to him.
- 1:12:42And I hope she read it because it gave the gospel very clear of
- 1:12:46how to be to in how to get into heaven.
- 1:12:48And I pray for all these people, even the ones that are
- 1:12:51slandering heaven trying to take him down.
- 1:12:53I pray for all of them. And who knows, hef may be in
- 1:12:55heaven laughing. I hope he is.
- 1:12:58None of us know. Again, that's a very private
- 1:13:00thing. I hope he did, but it's very
- 1:13:03hard for a rich man to enter through the narrow wall.
- 1:13:06It says, you know, it's, it's easier for a camel to go through
- 1:13:09the eye of a needle because they have everything.
- 1:13:12They, they, you know, sometimes Satan prospers in this world.
- 1:13:15They, it gives you everything. And it's hard to think you need
- 1:13:19a savior if you don't know you're sick and when
- 1:13:22everything's going right. But I hope in his dying days
- 1:13:26when things weren't going right and when he saw the vultures
- 1:13:29around him and we saw that all of the bitterness that went on
- 1:13:33with these, you know, women that should have loved them and
- 1:13:36didn't. All the opportunist.
- 1:13:39And I, I hope he somehow connected those dots and
- 1:13:42believed in Christ because I hope he's in heaven.
- 1:13:45I really do. So that's what made me think of
- 1:13:48that on his birthday, you know, and hoping he's there and and
- 1:13:52that he did he without my life would have been so different.
- 1:13:57Having not posed for Playboy. I'm not ashamed of it.
- 1:14:00I'm very proud of it and I'm I'm very grateful for that
- 1:14:03opportunity. And, and a side note, I had a
- 1:14:06woman who's a, a pastor, a pastor woman who said to me, I'd
- 1:14:13like to sit down with you and tell you, you know, your words
- 1:14:17about Hef how it's it, it's awful.
- 1:14:21He was a, you know, a misogynist and a womanizer and a this and
- 1:14:25that and a, you know, objectified woman women.
- 1:14:30And I never sat down with her because I, you know, I
- 1:14:34completely disagree and I, I respectfully disagree because I
- 1:14:38never felt like he was a womanizer.
- 1:14:39I felt like he put women on pedestals.
- 1:14:41I feel like he gave them business opportunities.
- 1:14:44I feel like he put them more in the positions than a man, you
- 1:14:47know, that men would be. He even changed that where when
- 1:14:51there was real racism in the country, real racial division
- 1:14:56and real racism that was horrible.
- 1:14:59And he would put women in a in not only positions of authority,
- 1:15:04but black women in the impositions of authority.
- 1:15:09The Bunny hop, the black Bunny hop.
- 1:15:11My friend Lacey wrote a wonderful book and she came from
- 1:15:16bad racism and fled Alabama her they were going to lynch her
- 1:15:20dad. I mean, it's they had to hide
- 1:15:21him in the trunk. It was very real.
- 1:15:24And and and you know, she worked, she's also a Christian
- 1:15:27and she worked for Playboy for years.
- 1:15:29She was one of the first Playboy bunnies and then became the
- 1:15:33Bunny mom. And you know, that's just one
- 1:15:36little person. And I, I say it like that
- 1:15:38because it, it Playboy really, you know, take it or leave it.
- 1:15:42There's a lot of Christians in the organizations.
- 1:15:45I I, you know, yes, half. Half.
- 1:15:48Didn't. Do anything to diminish my
- 1:15:50faith. Well, that that that's kind of
- 1:15:54the that's kind of the surprising thing.
- 1:15:56I'm not trying to draw comparisons or say that I'm like
- 1:16:02half, but you know, there was the description of oh, he's just
- 1:16:05some horny old guy. But then, you know, as I
- 1:16:10ironically by them cancelling him, that sparked my interest in
- 1:16:16finding out who, who was this guy?
- 1:16:19Because I feel like if anything was legitimate, they would have
- 1:16:24confronted him when he was alive and given him the chance to
- 1:16:28defend himself. And what I found was what I.
- 1:16:33Found was a man who you know, it, it's hard to know what he
- 1:16:38would think of things now, you know, as is the case when with
- 1:16:42anyone who's passed, but you know, and just surface little
- 1:16:45things. He went on like he went on
- 1:16:48Crossfire with, you know, William F Buckley back in the
- 1:16:5160s and they actually had a civilized debate about the
- 1:16:54sexual revolution and you can't have that type of conversation
- 1:17:00anymore. And he was also, you know, we,
- 1:17:04he started the Playboy Jazz Festival and well.
- 1:17:08We are Sam, look at you're doing it and that's wonderful.
- 1:17:12I hope more and more people are going back to, you know, it's,
- 1:17:19it's freedom. It is the First Amendment.
- 1:17:22That's the whole point. Take it or leave it.
- 1:17:24We should all be able to speak, You know, you should be able to
- 1:17:28speak without people condemning you or cancelling you or, or
- 1:17:32trying to change your thinking. Because when you have people
- 1:17:36that are trying to change your thinking, they think they're
- 1:17:40right. They, you know, there are people
- 1:17:41that think they're right, but it, it's, it's the, it's, it's
- 1:17:50not freedom. That's that's all.
- 1:17:52It's not your First Amendment rights anymore.
- 1:17:54Now it's, it's their ideology over yours.
- 1:17:59And the scary thing is Christian persecution is about to be here.
- 1:18:03I really believe it. Political execution is here.
- 1:18:07And that's scary. That's scary.
- 1:18:11I don't want to live in that world.
- 1:18:12I want to live in the old Playboy world.
- 1:18:14And I never thought we would bring up, you know, 'cause how
- 1:18:18sad is that, that I'm, you know, you're longing for something
- 1:18:21that was maybe morally, you know, morally iffy.
- 1:18:25But the principle of it, you're like, wait a minute, I miss
- 1:18:31those days. You could.
- 1:18:34Pick up the magazine or not, right?
- 1:18:36You know, there's the difference.
- 1:18:38You could pick it up or not. That's freedom.
- 1:18:41What you think about it is inconsequential.
- 1:18:46Well, what? What?
- 1:18:47What? Kind of what kind of?
- 1:18:49Sads me is that like Playboy even with all the nudity?
- 1:18:54Seems very quaint compared to a lot of.
- 1:19:01The I see women on Instagram saw somebody showed me something the
- 1:19:05other day and I'm like, they don't censor that, but they
- 1:19:09censor people with conservative values or happened and it.
- 1:19:17Or there was. Babies, little babies in a hot
- 1:19:22tub. And there was a lady putting her
- 1:19:23butt in their face. And I was like, this is so this
- 1:19:27is bizarro land we're living in now.
- 1:19:31I'm like, I and then women appoint themselves models now,
- 1:19:35you know, that's it's they appoint echo.
- 1:19:38And I had this conversation. It was like there was something
- 1:19:40special about being chosen or somebody seeking you out and
- 1:19:44saying, look, you should do this.
- 1:19:46And and they're kind of an authority on modeling or
- 1:19:48authority on, you know what I mean?
- 1:19:50Like they're, they're the, the, they're high up in their field
- 1:19:53and they, and then there's something's prestigious and
- 1:19:56special that you're chosen, you know, not.
- 1:20:00I look at me, I'm a model like, like, OK, And they have hundreds
- 1:20:06of thousands of followers and I'm like, that's so weird to me.
- 1:20:12It's just bizarre. That's just how we live now.
- 1:20:15I, I went to, I went to college with a young woman who I'm, I'm
- 1:20:21not going to say her name, but she's turned out to be a very
- 1:20:24successful Instagram model. I I guess I don't even even know
- 1:20:29how you qualify that anymore, to be honest, because the metrics
- 1:20:33are weird. But she was, she was claiming
- 1:20:38that she was a playmate and I took her aside and was like, do
- 1:20:45you even know? Have you even read the magazine?
- 1:20:48Do you know any of the, you know, sections?
- 1:20:52Do you know who you know? I threw out a couple of pretty
- 1:20:57well known playmate playmate names and she didn't know any
- 1:21:02of. Yeah, there's only you're right.
- 1:21:03There's a lot of girls on Instagram claiming that they're
- 1:21:06Playmates and they're not. And it is interesting.
- 1:21:10It's an interesting world we live.
- 1:21:12Exactly. They're like, I'm a Playboy
- 1:21:14Playmate and you're like, OK. But yeah, it's it's it's.
- 1:21:19Interesting. And then it's funny because we
- 1:21:22went through media training and we even learned to deal with the
- 1:21:26press and, you know, women's rights activists that would come
- 1:21:29after you because they did and say, how could you objectify,
- 1:21:32you know, allow yourself to be objectified and all of these
- 1:21:36different training and how to be gracious and, and just say, I'm
- 1:21:40sorry you feel that way. And I remember learning these
- 1:21:43things because Playboy had a good reputation and they and my
- 1:21:47gosh, there's no drinking on promotions.
- 1:21:49There's no you know, I remember there were rules and and that
- 1:21:53wasn't something bad. Heft didn't want anybody to get,
- 1:21:56you know, anything bad to happen and you to be have presence of
- 1:22:00mind and and represent the brand.
- 1:22:03And and so, you know, a lot of playmates would get in trouble,
- 1:22:08rightfully so, if they were doing things that were
- 1:22:11questionable or, you know, because it was it it didn't
- 1:22:15reflect the brand. He didn't like Jerry.
- 1:22:18You know, maybe he would have interviewed Jerry Springer, but
- 1:22:21he doesn't want the playmates acting like Jerry Springer.
- 1:22:23They really, there was a certain etiquette.
- 1:22:27I don't think that there's anything wrong with that.
- 1:22:28I think that that's I think it's nice to learn that etiquette's
- 1:22:32important and how to have manners and make sure.
- 1:22:35I remember because I had never traveled the way you travel with
- 1:22:39Playboy. And they even taught me, you
- 1:22:41know, make sure you tip the bellman, make sure you tip, you
- 1:22:45know, and and they would tell you how much just make.
- 1:22:48Yeah, it was things like that that just, I don't know if
- 1:22:52people even realize that. Me, I wish I could find my media
- 1:22:56training, how to talk to the press, how to present yourself.
- 1:22:59You know, you always had to look nice when you went out and and
- 1:23:03not dress skimpy, like you could dress kind of sexy and classy,
- 1:23:09but they even went through that. You didn't want to look trashy.
- 1:23:12There was a difference between trashy and you know, it got a
- 1:23:16little more lenient toward the end, you know, but but Heff was
- 1:23:21pretty funny about that, that he wanted the girls to look very.
- 1:23:24It was cocktail dresses in the evening for, you know, if we
- 1:23:28were doing events or whatever. Anyway, that's funny to look
- 1:23:32back at these things. You would, you would be.
- 1:23:35Amazed. I, I mean, I'm sure you already
- 1:23:37know a lot of them because, you know, they're all over the
- 1:23:41Internet, but just the stereotypes that have been, you
- 1:23:44know, perpetuated about Playboy that he, you know, have slept
- 1:23:48with like every single Playmate that was, that was, you know, a
- 1:23:54big one. For.
- 1:23:56You know, a long time and and then they tried to say.
- 1:24:00Well, I, I used to, I would be asked that and I would always be
- 1:24:04like, Oh my gosh, they're like we to be a playmate.
- 1:24:08You have to sleep with Heff. That was the, the, the rumor,
- 1:24:12right? And I remember being terrified
- 1:24:14even to get my photo taken in the 1st place.
- 1:24:17But I remember thinking, that's scary when someone said that to
- 1:24:21me, I go, I don't think so. He didn't, he didn't act that
- 1:24:24way to me. So that said, I think that the
- 1:24:28women in his life had to have been the ones that were very
- 1:24:31attracted to him and he was a you know, it's, it was a mutual
- 1:24:35thing, but it was not. And I know the hundreds of girls
- 1:24:39that of course didn't sleep with them.
- 1:24:41I would, I would have never been attracted to him.
- 1:24:44I was never well, he was married at the time anyway.
- 1:24:47So that was awesome. When I don't think maybe I would
- 1:24:49have posed if it was as crazy as the mansion had been.
- 1:24:53It was a family home when I when I went in, I, I loved Kimberly,
- 1:24:57still do. She's awesome.
- 1:25:00And they had, you know, Marston and Cooper were babies.
- 1:25:04When I first post for the magazines.
- 1:25:07You know, it's so funny, that rumor.
- 1:25:10That was one of the reasons why when I watched a certain series
- 1:25:14on A&E, as soon as one of the women said, and she was bitter.
- 1:25:18You could see it. She wanted to be Playmate of the
- 1:25:20Year. You could see it.
- 1:25:21She kept bringing it up. It bothered her that she never
- 1:25:24became Playmate of the Year. And I knew she was a liar and I
- 1:25:30couldn't believe anything she said after she said every
- 1:25:32single, she said just like this, every Playmate of the year, for
- 1:25:37them to be Playmate of the year, had to sleep with Hugh Hefner.
- 1:25:40And I'm screaming at the TV. I'm like, I can't.
- 1:25:42Why do I, why am I torturing myself?
- 1:25:44You're making us all look bad. I didn't sleep with Hugh Hefner.
- 1:25:48I didn't. That's not why I got Playmate of
- 1:25:50the year. I'm like, gosh.
- 1:25:52And then I watched another thing and this girl was saying, and I
- 1:25:55again, I'm protecting people's privacy, but they made-up a
- 1:25:59whole lie about someone I knew. And I knew she was a horrible
- 1:26:02person. She claimed rape and everything
- 1:26:04else. She was a horrible person.
- 1:26:05Not all playmates are great. And and then the girl says and
- 1:26:10she should have gotten playmate of the year.
- 1:26:12And I'm thinking, I thought that girl was going to murder me.
- 1:26:15That's how evil that girl was. And you're making her look like
- 1:26:18she was some sweet person. So a lot of lies.
- 1:26:23And what makes me sad is, you know, it's not opinion, It's
- 1:26:26lies because this is personal to me.
- 1:26:29Now nobody will know this because because it's opinion,
- 1:26:34you know, it's it, it would be a, but it's not opinion.
- 1:26:37It's my personal life. I would, I have experience with
- 1:26:40these people. I've experienced personally,
- 1:26:43whether you believe me or not, how sad is that?
- 1:26:46No, I never slept with Hugh Hefner to be playing of the
- 1:26:48year. But people lie so I'm like, but
- 1:26:53they'll think I'm lying. How sad is that?
- 1:26:56So it angers me that they can put certain things on television
- 1:27:00now and people take it for the truth Is that some of these
- 1:27:05documentaries serious. Yes, it diminishes our, you
- 1:27:09know, little celebrity we had and that's sad, you know,
- 1:27:12because playmates are prestigious.
- 1:27:14I, I, I think that there, there's some fun to that and
- 1:27:18some awesome playfulness and, and things that I want to look
- 1:27:22back on and, and be proud of and be, you know, as fond memories.
- 1:27:27And now you have people just making it like we all slept
- 1:27:31around and slept with Heath and we're prostitutes.
- 1:27:35Nothing could be further from the truth.
- 1:27:37I know some of the classiest women, even Playmate of the year
- 1:27:40that was, you know, virgins. I'm just being honest.
- 1:27:43Yes, they hurt their body, but they had never even slept with a
- 1:27:47man at all. Me and what's she was beautiful.
- 1:27:52But anyway, we were laughing about it because she's like when
- 1:27:56I posed as Playmate of the year. I was a virgin.
- 1:28:00Yeah, sleep with heft to be No, not even at all.
- 1:28:04He actually, you know, it would never, would never cross a line.
- 1:28:10That's what I mean by that personally.
- 1:28:13That's my personal experience. But I, I, I, you have to imagine
- 1:28:18his character would change that much.
- 1:28:21You know what I mean? Like your character changes for
- 1:28:23one person to the other. I know we change a little bit
- 1:28:27for people, but not that much. Well anyway, I'm just thinking
- 1:28:32of some of the things I've heard.
- 1:28:35No, no, I mean I've been in. I mean I've been, I've been
- 1:28:38podcasting for, for 16 years now.
- 1:28:41I mean, I've, I've been in media.
- 1:28:43Oh my gosh, Sam. The the vast majority of my
- 1:28:46entire life and mostly self-taught.
- 1:28:49But you, you know, you pick up on.
- 1:28:52I mean, I've always had a pretty good bullshit meter and I'd have
- 1:28:56watched the series. I, I never watched the series in
- 1:28:59its entirety because I don't have cable.
- 1:29:03But you know, I, I did see clips of the Girls Next door when it
- 1:29:07was on because my mom watched that show a lot.
- 1:29:13A lot of women also watched, you know, out of those reality
- 1:29:16shows. Oh yeah, it was.
- 1:29:17It was very entertaining. That's that's the funny.
- 1:29:20Thing, you know, meanwhile my guy friends and I, we, we were
- 1:29:23just interested in, in the magazine and that was, you know,
- 1:29:27that was it. But you know, I think the thing
- 1:29:32that didn't sit right with me was that just from the clips I
- 1:29:37saw of, you know, the secrets of Playboy or what not, they seemed
- 1:29:44like really dramatic and overdone, you know, obviously.
- 1:29:51Yeah, it's very well produced. And to.
- 1:29:55All of them are very well produced.
- 1:29:59You know, and I'll and I'll give them credit for that
- 1:30:01artistically, but I'm just like, well.
- 1:30:04They didn't research these people.
- 1:30:06Yeah. And the journalists that did a
- 1:30:09lot of the interviews on the A&E series, sadly, I, I, you know, I
- 1:30:14spoke to them multiple times. They wanted me to, and they were
- 1:30:19spinning my words. So they kept bringing up people
- 1:30:22that I know personally. And we're saying what, you know,
- 1:30:26they wanted it to seem like Playboy was the reason this
- 1:30:29person committed suicide, the reason this person.
- 1:30:33So they dug up all the dirt they could.
- 1:30:35That's their job. It shouldn't be their job.
- 1:30:37That's not a journalist job. That's not objectivity.
- 1:30:41That's focusing on negativity, which sells, and Playboy sells
- 1:30:46and controversy sells. So I could hear that, and I was
- 1:30:50unlike you, I'm really good. I can hear what they're doing.
- 1:30:54And every time I would give them the truth, they would present a
- 1:30:58lie but try to put it in me. And I'm like, no, no, no, no,
- 1:31:02no, no. I knew her the happiest times of
- 1:31:06her life. Hugh Hefner gave her some
- 1:31:09wonderful times in her life. She made a series of poor
- 1:31:14decisions. And I know this personally and
- 1:31:17sadly, you know, that has nothing to do with Playboy.
- 1:31:20But they were trying to act like Playboy was such a horrible
- 1:31:24lifestyle that that's why this person committed suicide or that
- 1:31:27person did this. And another thing that it's
- 1:31:31based on a book and the person it, it's almost bizarre land.
- 1:31:37It doesn't even make sense. It was an an employee that
- 1:31:40barely worked there and he got fired because he was a creep.
- 1:31:43And so he's mentally ill. So if you watch these people,
- 1:31:46they're mentally ill. They're they're not all there.
- 1:31:48They've done drugs. They're drug addicts.
- 1:31:52They're I'm just being honest. And Playboy didn't make them do
- 1:31:55drugs. Playboy Hef was so against drugs
- 1:31:58and they lie. I know.
- 1:32:01I know because we were given rules.
- 1:32:04You don't talk to anybody if they offer you cocaine.
- 1:32:07You don't. You don't.
- 1:32:08I mean, you're given rules. Hef went through some horrible
- 1:32:11times during the Empire. He was involved in some things
- 1:32:15and steered away from those things.
- 1:32:17He spent jail time. He went through some things, but
- 1:32:20he preserved the brand by not associating with those things.
- 1:32:25But for some reason, you know, you have these liars and, and
- 1:32:30they are lies. And what's awesome, I have a
- 1:32:33friend and I won't mention his name yet because he'll it'll all
- 1:32:36come out. And it's so fun because even one
- 1:32:38of the girlfriends, you know, has some truth and I know she's
- 1:32:42telling the truth. There are truth and there are
- 1:32:44lies there. And like you said, you can
- 1:32:46almost read it. You can read the bullshit and
- 1:32:50you can read when they make excuses.
- 1:32:52And you know, I have autism, so that's my excuse.
- 1:32:56That does not that's, that shouldn't make you vicious and
- 1:33:00and tearing someone down. Because if, if my, my husband,
- 1:33:04because I'm, I'm writing a book right now because my husband
- 1:33:06ended up with a brain tumor. And I've been through a lot of
- 1:33:09things. I've been through some very real
- 1:33:11things. And I know what real abuse is.
- 1:33:14I know what it is to be abused. I do.
- 1:33:17And I've been, I've seen it. I've seen people that have been
- 1:33:20abused and then I see people that are portraying victims and
- 1:33:24it's a slap in the face to real victims.
- 1:33:28That's what's frustrating here, Sam, because there are real
- 1:33:31victims of real crimes and then you have someone going.
- 1:33:34He said I looked cheap. Well, he was probably just being
- 1:33:38honest. My husband's called me a bitch
- 1:33:40before. Guess what?
- 1:33:41I was probably being a bitch. You know what I mean?
- 1:33:43Like, that's not abuse. No, it's not abuse because
- 1:33:47someone you're getting a little, I mean, come on, people need to
- 1:33:50be thicker skinned. But you know what I'm saying?
- 1:33:54Like, I think we live in a baby world now.
- 1:33:57And then liars and then and then they praise liars so that
- 1:34:01everybody can go, yeah, I knew he was bad.
- 1:34:04I knew he was awful. I knew every playmate of the
- 1:34:07year had to sleep with them. And then it, it reflects bad on
- 1:34:11people that were just, you know, I posed for the magazine.
- 1:34:15Everything was great. It was awesome.
- 1:34:17I didn't see anything bad. I saw a beautiful wife of a man
- 1:34:21and two adorable kids and a family home.
- 1:34:24That was my experience. And then you have somebody.
- 1:34:28I, I will bring this one up. So the guy says that he was in
- 1:34:31the grotto. Well, everyone knows that if
- 1:34:34you're a valet Parker, you are not allowed to go in the grotto.
- 1:34:38You're fired if you go on the grounds and spy on people.
- 1:34:42And he says that he saw Hugh Hefner.
- 1:34:44This is disgusting, by the way, and I know it's a lie.
- 1:34:47I know for a fact it's a lie. Said that he saw Hugh Hefner
- 1:34:52sodomizing a woman that ended up being *80 beautiful.
- 1:34:58I can't think of her name right now.
- 1:34:59They did a whole story on. They keep doing stories on her
- 1:35:02and they didn't know her. It makes me so sick.
- 1:35:05And says that Heff was sodomizing.
- 1:35:07It's so gross. The things that's disgusting.
- 1:35:11My brain didn't even want to wrap around that.
- 1:35:13And I knew it was a lie. And then the one lady who had,
- 1:35:17you know, Heff's personal physician, these are just some
- 1:35:20of the lies. Sam, his personal physician's
- 1:35:23daughter, who never, she says she grew up in the Playboy
- 1:35:27Mansion, said she saw orgies going on.
- 1:35:30Heff would never let children and he would never have orgies
- 1:35:34like in the middle of the house. That was not Hugh Hefner.
- 1:35:38It's like if people were off in the grotto having sex, maybe
- 1:35:41that was maybe that went on, but there would never be a kid
- 1:35:45around. Heff was not.
- 1:35:46And he he had his grounds always covered.
- 1:35:49So there are all these salacious lies and I know the people
- 1:35:53personally that they're lying about.
- 1:35:55I know people that were there at these you, if you get the
- 1:35:58timeline right, it's so fun. What's going to come out?
- 1:36:01And it's just the point. Even though people are going to
- 1:36:03believe what they believe, the fact is you need to defend
- 1:36:06what's right or we have nothing. That's what I think in America
- 1:36:10at this point. It's a a war of ideology here
- 1:36:14and truth versus lies. And there is truth, there's
- 1:36:18truth. And it's like, I'm so happy
- 1:36:21somebody's going to say the truth.
- 1:36:22It's not slander, it's truth. And these people are slandering
- 1:36:26and lying. And I'm one.
- 1:36:29Personally. I was lying against Playmate of
- 1:36:31the Year. Has to sleep with half.
- 1:36:32I didn't sleep with Hugh Hefner. I got Playmate of the Year.
- 1:36:35You're a liar. You just lied.
- 1:36:37I don't trust anything you say about Hugh Hefner.
- 1:36:41You know what I mean? Yeah, I get.
- 1:36:43Worked up about it because I don't like lies.
- 1:36:46Yeah, I mean, I I get. Listen, I did not even like you
- 1:36:53there. I I think, are you still there?
- 1:36:58You're kind of freezing all of a sudden, yes.
- 1:37:02OK, OK. OK.
- 1:37:04We're back. Yeah.
- 1:37:07I did not initially. Even set out to like defend half
- 1:37:11that was not my intention my my whole intention was something
- 1:37:17doesn't doesn't smell right and I just wanted to talk to someone
- 1:37:22who actually. 'Cause you have a bullshit
- 1:37:24meter, your bullshit meter was going.
- 1:37:27Up So, you know, I really appreciate you taking the time
- 1:37:33to have this conversation and you know, as I understand it,
- 1:37:37you have been going through some, you know, issues of your
- 1:37:42own and now with all of that, why I mean, I I imagine I
- 1:37:51imagine that you know, you you've been away from Playboy
- 1:37:54for over, you know, 20 some years now.
- 1:37:57So I imagine that after all this time to come back it it's got to
- 1:38:02be daunting a bit to, you know, have to deal with all this, BSI
- 1:38:07would imagine. It is and I didn't think I would
- 1:38:12get so worked up about it. And my husband even said don't
- 1:38:16watch these shows, don't listen to these things.
- 1:38:19Just stop. You're doing that to yourself.
- 1:38:21I'm like I said, I am and I'm not because it's an attack on
- 1:38:26every one of us really. It's like, no, you're lying
- 1:38:30about me and you're defaming my character.
- 1:38:33So I and Hesh's character. So that's defamation.
- 1:38:39And we should be able to, to defend ourselves and I and I
- 1:38:43think it's OK to have a righteous indignation because
- 1:38:47there is truth and there is lies.
- 1:38:49And people shouldn't get away with lies just 'cause they're
- 1:38:52crying. People shouldn't get away with
- 1:38:54lies just because they're, they want something or they're
- 1:38:58getting paid. I mean, so I just want to stand
- 1:39:02up for what's right. And I want people to know who
- 1:39:04hath, who hath was. And, and you know, he wasn't a,
- 1:39:10he was a man and he wasn't perfect.
- 1:39:12He, he wasn't, you know, some I'm not, I don't, it's not like
- 1:39:17I worship Hugh Hefner. I worship God and, and I, I, but
- 1:39:23I, I'm hurt that so many people are believing because certain
- 1:39:31people have certain powers and are able to be on television or
- 1:39:34are able to get things out there that a lot of people are being
- 1:39:38hurt. Including his own children,
- 1:39:40including his ex wives, including his, you know, ex
- 1:39:45girlfriends that loved him. And, and so there's a
- 1:39:48documentary that'll be coming out that refutes step by step,
- 1:39:52the documentary. And I'm excited step by step.
- 1:39:55I can't say what it is or who's producing it.
- 1:39:57There's still but each interview they're able to get a real story
- 1:40:02and and show you how things are spun.
- 1:40:05And, you know, and, and how some people paint themselves as
- 1:40:09angels and paint themselves as victims and paint themselves as
- 1:40:15just, you know, the the loudest, what is what do they say?
- 1:40:18The squeakiest wheel, whatever. There's so many sayings, the
- 1:40:23loudest can, the emptiest cans make the most noise, the
- 1:40:26emptiest, you know, and, and it's people that love Tef that
- 1:40:30were his friends that were there a lot that that are gonna give
- 1:40:33the truth. Even one of his girlfriends that
- 1:40:35was in the bedroom with the people that were saying things.
- 1:40:39And then it's just kind of funny.
- 1:40:41I heard things. It was fun, Sam.
- 1:40:43And I don't like gossip, don't get me wrong.
- 1:40:45Like, I think all of this is silliness.
- 1:40:48I'm not. I like my husband said, I do
- 1:40:50need to just not. But it's the principle at this
- 1:40:53point. Like if you're giving me this.
- 1:40:56Platform. Here I am, and I'm gonna, I'm
- 1:40:58gonna say the truth. Yeah.
- 1:41:02So yeah, it is. It is.
- 1:41:06Just that the truth and, and my, you know, people say my truth.
- 1:41:10Well, my, I have a truth too. But those are the people that
- 1:41:13never get heard. Yeah.
- 1:41:17Well, I. I think that's the great thing
- 1:41:19out like podcasting too, and kind of, you know, the age of
- 1:41:23new media versus legacy media is that listen, I'm a I'm a quote
- 1:41:29UN quote retired political junkie.
- 1:41:33I, you know, I start out interviewing people in the
- 1:41:35political field. I never thought I'd be
- 1:41:37interviewing a a Playboy Playmate 16 years into my, you
- 1:41:43know, career here, and yet here we are.
- 1:41:48You know this has been fascinating.
- 1:41:51I think it's a study, I really think it's an interesting case
- 1:41:56study in that people could learn, could learn a lot from
- 1:42:00this man's life. Believe it or not, the good and
- 1:42:03the bad. It's it's very fascinating.
- 1:42:06But I'll tell you, I was, I was supposed because of Playboy,
- 1:42:10because I wouldn't have been on, you know, any of I was on a, a
- 1:42:13show and I was lied to. And, and it's, it's scary to me
- 1:42:18that I, I was able to know not to go on the A&E series.
- 1:42:22I knew better. I said, absolutely not.
- 1:42:24I no, I want to have nothing to do with this.
- 1:42:26I knew that. So I denied going on that show.
- 1:42:31Thank goodness. Because you know, I know a few
- 1:42:33people that they'll tell you they took hours and hours and
- 1:42:36hours and hours and hours of interview and only did a sound
- 1:42:42bite, sound bite, sound bite to push the narrative.
- 1:42:46So that's terrifying. Well, and what's funny is I felt
- 1:42:50so I was like, yes, I was able to see through that.
- 1:42:53I, I was able to dodge that. And then when I watched it, I
- 1:42:57was like, I knew it. I knew it when they were all
- 1:42:59lying and, and they had mentally ill people on there.
- 1:43:02And I'm like, my gosh, I'm so glad I figured that out.
- 1:43:06Just talking to the journalists then.
- 1:43:08And then I don't even think they should be called journalists.
- 1:43:11I call them propaganda. They may as well go do make shit
- 1:43:14up. And then I was called and then
- 1:43:18the other person got to me and it was bizarre.
- 1:43:24And I have, it's funny because I'm so excited.
- 1:43:26I've told two people this on I have probably 2 hours, hour 45
- 1:43:32that I recorded so that they're going to say I broke contract.
- 1:43:36Even if I ever accidentally mentioned this producer, they
- 1:43:41lied and told me she had nothing to do with it.
- 1:43:44Nothing to do with that. I said I'd I said promise me.
- 1:43:47And then they promised me that this person was dead that they
- 1:43:50were going to ask me questions about.
- 1:43:52I was completely honest and everything that I said.
- 1:43:55And what's funny is I always share the gospel because that I
- 1:43:57always feel like if God puts me in front of a camera, that's my
- 1:44:00job. That's why Hollywood will never
- 1:44:02accept me. But that said I, I even shared,
- 1:44:06it even made me cry at one point because when they interview like
- 1:44:09you like that, they flew me to Ohio and interviewed me and they
- 1:44:13spun everything anyway. And they only took the pieces
- 1:44:18again. But I thought, I really thought,
- 1:44:22OK, after talking to this person for an hour and 45 minutes, at
- 1:44:27least they'll get the truth. You know, we won't.
- 1:44:30We're not going to talk about certain things they didn't want
- 1:44:32to talk about. I did figure that out, but they
- 1:44:35still lied to me and I was like, you can't trust anything.
- 1:44:40And it's so well produced. It's so well produced and it's
- 1:44:44so and it's not true. So now when I watch true crime,
- 1:44:48I love true crime. I always see, is it going to
- 1:44:51benefit the victims? Is it going to honor the
- 1:44:54victims? Is it going to help somebody?
- 1:44:56And is it real? 911 calls real recordings.
- 1:45:00When you get that, you pretty much have the truth.
- 1:45:02When you get real recordings, the real people.
- 1:45:05But when they have second hand accounts and someone narrating
- 1:45:09that didn't know this person, that's forming opinions and
- 1:45:12feeding the audience opinions, that's what's happening.
- 1:45:15That's what's happening more and more.
- 1:45:16And they're produced so well. We watching when we believe it.
- 1:45:19But if I didn't experience this myself, I would believe it too.
- 1:45:24Do you know what I mean? I would be like if I hadn't used
- 1:45:27for Playboy. I would if I didn't know Hugh
- 1:45:30Hefner and hundreds of people that knew him and worked for him
- 1:45:33for 50 plus years or done the Bunny Chronicles and I learned
- 1:45:36these things. I would believe it too because
- 1:45:38it's so well produced. I would be like, wow, he did
- 1:45:43that, they did that, I would believe it.
- 1:45:46So we're living in scary times 'cause that's just one person.
- 1:45:51This is just one company. This is just imagine how much
- 1:45:55they do this, Sam, I'm terrified.
- 1:45:59I don't it's like your book, the 4th estate.
- 1:46:01It's all you know, we we don't have a fourth estate.
- 1:46:05We have a propaganda. It's like whatever they want us
- 1:46:08to think, they can just lie. Now I don't believe anything
- 1:46:12anymore. Now I watch I'm like, I really
- 1:46:15don't watch the news or anything.
- 1:46:17I'm like, these aren't journalists.
- 1:46:20They're not journalists. They're they're sinners.
- 1:46:23They're just spinners and propagandists.
- 1:46:26And I'm like, I got it's nuts. That's why we need more and more
- 1:46:29podcasters like yourself. Well, I, I, I appreciate it.
- 1:46:35That's that, you know, that's one of the best compliments and
- 1:46:39endorsements I've gotten. So I'll, you know, I'll take it.
- 1:46:46Yeah. And I mean.
- 1:46:47I'm I'm an. English major and people kept
- 1:46:51saying I should go to journalism school, but the thing but the
- 1:46:54thing about journalism school is now they don't teach you to be
- 1:46:58journalists anymore. They teach you to be activists
- 1:47:01and. It's.
- 1:47:03Yes, exactly. It's unfortunate.
- 1:47:06It really is because there's no objectivity.
- 1:47:10So you think of people, they're looking through a lens like
- 1:47:14hashtag me too, like Black Lives Matters, like, and, and the
- 1:47:20premise is good. Of course racism is horrible.
- 1:47:23Of course there are real things that go on.
- 1:47:27There are real crimes that happen, but what happens is you
- 1:47:30have flawed people that look through a lens and all they can
- 1:47:35do is look through that lens and they will also force a narrative
- 1:47:40where it doesn't fit. Things are not just black and
- 1:47:42white. There are Gray areas.
- 1:47:44There are there are different things.
- 1:47:47And and Sam, I believe we need boots on the ground.
- 1:47:52And how sad that we're looking at a magazine that was a
- 1:47:55controversial magazine. How sad we're looking back at a
- 1:47:59magazine that was an adult magazine, not even for kids, but
- 1:48:03it was objective. Have real, honest, objective
- 1:48:06journalists and interviews. And that's what we're longing
- 1:48:09for today. We want boots on the ground.
- 1:48:12Don't tell me what you think about you're a political
- 1:48:14opponent, whether it's Fox News or whether it's CNNI want to see
- 1:48:20a reporter like in the 80s, like in the like all the way back.
- 1:48:26I want to see boots on the ground.
- 1:48:28I want to see the real people in Ukraine.
- 1:48:32I want to see the real where they're hiding stages it, you
- 1:48:36know? I want someone to get in to, you
- 1:48:39know, Gaza Strip, not standing on a roof.
- 1:48:44I want them in there with the people, the way they used to put
- 1:48:47themselves in harm's way. As a journalist, I'm being
- 1:48:50honest and say this is this is you can form the opinion, but
- 1:48:54this is happening right now before your eyes.
- 1:48:57But now we have AI and they'll make stuff up.
- 1:49:00They'll have a fake recorder now.
- 1:49:02It's so crazy to think about how far we've drifted from honest
- 1:49:07journalism where the people can say, I'm going to form my
- 1:49:10opinion and I don't hate you for liking this person for
- 1:49:14president. Motions aren't involved here.
- 1:49:17Thinking is, you know, deduction of thought, like rationally
- 1:49:23being able to form an opinion from information that's given.
- 1:49:28Like we don't have that. We're being fed information at
- 1:49:33the craziest rate of speed. Opinion and opinion and bias,
- 1:49:37opinion and bias and activism, activism, activism.
- 1:49:42There's nothing more dangerous than what's going on.
- 1:49:45Nothing more dangerous. We're losing our freedom.
- 1:49:49We're losing our country. We're we're losing all of They
- 1:49:54don't allow values. They don't allow nationalism.
- 1:49:56It's all globalism and and it goes on and on and on.
- 1:50:01And I don't mean to get on my soapbox.
- 1:50:03I just get very sad for America. And it starts with the
- 1:50:06journalists, believe it or not, it's a big deal.
- 1:50:09A fourth estate. Our news outlets are a big, big
- 1:50:12deal. Listen, I, I'm, I'm glad that
- 1:50:16I'm glad that you're going off on this because usually, like,
- 1:50:19I'm the one who gets, you know, calls for and, and whatnot.
- 1:50:22I don't. And here's the thing, I don't
- 1:50:24think anything. That you're saying?
- 1:50:25Or is. Controversial to want the truth.
- 1:50:28It's so controversial that you want the truth and not an
- 1:50:31opinion. It's so controversial to want to
- 1:50:34see reality versus an ideology that you wish was right because
- 1:50:40you can't usher it. But we know this is Christian
- 1:50:42Sam, and this is what people don't understand.
- 1:50:45You can't play God. There's one God.
- 1:50:48You can't play God. You can't force what you think
- 1:50:52is. You can't even force morality,
- 1:50:54true freedom. You don't you don't you it's
- 1:50:59separation of church and state. It's that's freedom.
- 1:51:03There's all these things and they're afraid of you know, you
- 1:51:06have people on the left that are afraid of the there are there
- 1:51:10are they should be feared. People that are way on the right
- 1:51:13that are, you know, trying to implement law according to
- 1:51:17morality, which you can't. You can't legislate morality.
- 1:51:21You can't you can't legislate morality.
- 1:51:23But now you have the left trying to legislate an ideology and no
- 1:51:29system of checks and balances and a fourth estate that is,
- 1:51:34that feeds a narrative so that the people stay stupid, so that
- 1:51:39they can be the elite and be in charge of all of us.
- 1:51:43And we get nothing and they get everything.
- 1:51:45And they want to make sure of that.
- 1:51:46And they don't want our little brains to think, you know, any
- 1:51:50further than gender neutrality and a chicken in every pot.
- 1:51:54And they and it's a false it. You can never usher in a utopia.
- 1:51:59The end. You can't do it.
- 1:52:01All you're going to do is make everybody poor, everybody
- 1:52:04miserable. Then, you know, the very people
- 1:52:08that are claiming that the people that it's just all nuts.
- 1:52:12I get so sad over all of it. I don't want to, you know, and
- 1:52:16and people argue and they get upset and they don't listen.
- 1:52:19And Oh my gosh, dude, you know, she can't say that.
- 1:52:23Why can't I? Why can't I say that?
- 1:52:25I used to have people on Facebook shut me down and they
- 1:52:27would have a long thread arguing, arguing.
- 1:52:31And I used to debate. And then I finally said, you
- 1:52:34can't debate with people that are subjective.
- 1:52:38You can't debate with activists. You can't debate debate with an
- 1:52:43ideology. You can't.
- 1:52:44There's no open thinking. There's no thoughtfulness.
- 1:52:47There's no, there's no, do you know what I'm saying?
- 1:52:51There's they they see through one lens.
- 1:52:55They can only see through that lens.
- 1:52:57And it's not. Yeah, I know.
- 1:52:58That's all. Yeah, I know.
- 1:53:01I know exactly. I know exactly what you mean.
- 1:53:04You know, I, I, I do know that things are, you know, things are
- 1:53:10kind of in dire straits right now.
- 1:53:11But I'm also optimistic that there are people who are willing
- 1:53:16to have conversations and who are willing to stand for what
- 1:53:23they now believe in and listen. I know we.
- 1:53:27Have to, Sam, we have to. I used to be quiet.
- 1:53:32I used to be very quiet and mind my business.
- 1:53:34But when people started trying to make me think the way they
- 1:53:39want me to think and shame me, I'm done.
- 1:53:43And and what do we have to lose? What do we have to lose?
- 1:53:47It's all going away at the nothing is coming.
- 1:53:49I watched never ending story, part one and Part 2 up at our
- 1:53:53property the other day and I was, I told my husband, I said,
- 1:53:56you know, I love these movies when I was a little girl, but
- 1:53:59it's so it's so metaphorical to what's happening.
- 1:54:04The nothing is coming. The emptiness is here.
- 1:54:07People are empty. There's no love.
- 1:54:09There's, you know, the emptiness and the, you know, I hate to
- 1:54:12think like that, but that's what I think of it.
- 1:54:14As we lose our freedoms, I think of it like the nothing is
- 1:54:18coming, you know, the greater good that they think they're
- 1:54:25bringing when I say they the very people that are in charge
- 1:54:28right now and changing things at lightspeed for globalism and
- 1:54:33socialism and Marxism, and they're at the helm.
- 1:54:38A quick thought while we're in, and you may totally disagree.
- 1:54:40And I have not heard one person say this anywhere.
- 1:54:44And I always get mad when Democrats leave the Democratic
- 1:54:47Party. Fix your party.
- 1:54:49It used to be a system of checks and balances.
- 1:54:52Get the radicals out. Get the socialist, communist and
- 1:54:56Marxist ideologies. Good Democrats.
- 1:55:01There were good Democrats. There were Zell Miller when he
- 1:55:04went his, there's a speech. I encourage everyone to look up
- 1:55:07Zell Miller who loved our military.
- 1:55:10He said we're not, we're not occupiers, we're liberators.
- 1:55:16That's what, you know, our military in the past has done
- 1:55:21for where there's a dictator, where people are suffering and
- 1:55:25you have you can't allow it because where America is free,
- 1:55:30America is great. Nationalism is a beautiful
- 1:55:33thing. And, and we need a system of
- 1:55:36checks and balances. And if you stand for certain
- 1:55:38principles like a strong, solid military, if, God forbid, we
- 1:55:42have to defend ourselves, you have, you know, so that there's
- 1:55:46not too much power on each on either side.
- 1:55:49That's why you have a Congress and you have a but we're getting
- 1:55:53to a point where it's almost like everybody thinks there has
- 1:55:55to be a good guy. There has to be a bad guy.
- 1:55:57Like the movies. It's it's we've become
- 1:55:59Idiocracy. If you watch Idiocracy, we are
- 1:56:02there. It's like people are so stupid.
- 1:56:05They don't even know how to, you know what I mean?
- 1:56:07They don't know how to think. They don't know how to, they
- 1:56:10don't know what things are. And and then you have because
- 1:56:14the Democrats have have made such poor decisions and, you
- 1:56:18know, dummying things down for equality, you have a lot of
- 1:56:22people in positions of authority who have a lesser education.
- 1:56:27I'm just being honest, A lesser education.
- 1:56:30They come from not even almost like they're not civilized.
- 1:56:36And if we're not civilized, that's what makes every great
- 1:56:39nation a civilization. And being able to have open
- 1:56:42dialogue and being able to agree to disagree and having gentlemen
- 1:56:46and having you know it. There's got to be a system of
- 1:56:49law, an order and and, and certain people shouldn't be able
- 1:56:53to get away with things just for power and and, and just because
- 1:56:58you feel sorry for someone that lower standards and and you want
- 1:57:03people to rise to be the best that they can be where they are.
- 1:57:07Sometimes it's not becoming some high.
- 1:57:11You know, you you're not supposed to serve.
- 1:57:13You're not supposed to Yeah, and that's OK.
- 1:57:16But know where you stand. Have objectivity and, and I
- 1:57:20think because of of the sound bites and social media and all
- 1:57:26of the things that we have being thrown at us, people aren't able
- 1:57:31to think rationally. They're not able to they're not
- 1:57:35able to form opinions. Instead, they, they have
- 1:57:38ideology and, and that it's so dangerous and on so many levels.
- 1:57:42I'm, I'm scattered with it because it, you, it's so much
- 1:57:47that that could be fixed. And so I hear, you know, I'll
- 1:57:50watch just for fun. I'll watch CNN then I'll, I love
- 1:57:54Newsmax, I'll watch Newsmax, but it's, it's still, it's still
- 1:57:57bias in opinion, even though I may agree with one of them more
- 1:58:01than the other, it's still bias in opinion.
- 1:58:03You still don't have boots on the ground.
- 1:58:05You're still telling me how to think instead of having me say,
- 1:58:10OK, that's a value. I, I agree with.
- 1:58:12I, I like that value. I'm, I may hold on to that
- 1:58:16value. That's what makes us civilized
- 1:58:19society, not you know, you should feel sorry for yourself
- 1:58:24because you're part of systemic racism.
- 1:58:27You should feel this way because you're you should feel sorry for
- 1:58:31yourself because of this. Or you should.
- 1:58:33You know, you're owed this because of this.
- 1:58:36How weak are we? Like, go to another country?
- 1:58:41I'd love to send all these protesters that are standing up
- 1:58:44for something they know nothing about, all eyes on Rafa.
- 1:58:47And. And I get it.
- 1:58:49It becomes emotional. You see a dead baby.
- 1:58:51You know that. Ishmael Hanaya, the head of
- 1:58:54Hamas. Do you know anything about
- 1:58:55Ishmael? Yeah.
- 1:58:56Yeah. Ishmael Hanaya, the head of
- 1:58:58Hamas, is worth. He has a four billion net worth.
- 1:59:03So here you have the head of a terrorist organization
- 1:59:06outwardly. So they rape women, They cut
- 1:59:10babies, heads off. For real.
- 1:59:12They sincerely cut heads off. We are infidels.
- 1:59:16They absolutely go against homosexuality in the Muslim
- 1:59:20world. Whether they're radical Muslims
- 1:59:22or Muslims, they completely will kill their wives.
- 1:59:25That's in the Quran, Read the Quran.
- 1:59:28I also suggest everyone to read a book called The Islamic
- 1:59:32Invasion. It's very good book.
- 1:59:34But Sir, Islam can't work in America.
- 1:59:38It can't. Sorry.
- 1:59:40I'm crazy to say that. Because there are good Muslims,
- 1:59:42right? Yes, there are.
- 1:59:43There are good people, right? But an ideology like that
- 1:59:47cannot. America would not exist, I hate
- 1:59:49to tell you. We would all have our heads cut
- 1:59:51off because that's what the Quran says.
- 1:59:54And I know Muslims that I love that.
- 1:59:56Would you know they get upset when I say that it's the truth.
- 1:59:59Read your Quran, maybe you should read it.
- 2:00:02You know, I had to have my face covered, But you have all of
- 2:00:06these young radicalized people on campuses right now.
- 2:00:10And the reason it makes me so sick is because the only freedom
- 2:00:13in the Middle East is Israel. Without Israel, they allow
- 2:00:18Arabs, Muslim Arabs, to function in their court systems under a
- 2:00:22system of law very similar to ours.
- 2:00:25It's the only freedom they have. So I would love to take these
- 2:00:30college students and including my friends in the in the
- 2:00:33entertainment industry that are posting all eyes on Rafa, All
- 2:00:37eyes on Rafa. I'm sorry, but the leaders of
- 2:00:41that country want this $4 billion.
- 2:00:45He will not live in Rafa. The head of Hamas will not live
- 2:00:48in Rafa. He's too good.
- 2:00:51He has so much, he has protection.
- 2:00:53He has everything and billions. And then he barely doles it out
- 2:00:56to his to his radical followers. It's so sad.
- 2:01:01And they have nothing. They have nothing.
- 2:01:05And if you sent these protesters there, they would have nothing
- 2:01:10and they would have no freedom. And the fact that they're, you
- 2:01:14know, eat the way they eat, walk the way they walk that they're
- 2:01:17they're making a choice to be a homosexual or gender neutral,
- 2:01:22they would be completely murdered because that's a
- 2:01:26murderous religion. They murder you and they do they
- 2:01:30kill they they're full of hatred and bigotry beyond any other
- 2:01:35religion. And the radicals are so far
- 2:01:38October 7th. Do these people not, none of
- 2:01:40them posted anything about that very real attack that Hamas
- 2:01:44attacked them and Israel's defending themselves and, and,
- 2:01:48and the truth. And this is boots on the ground.
- 2:01:50If we had boots on the ground showing you they hide their
- 2:01:53women and children in the targeted areas so that they can
- 2:01:56show it on the news. They hate their own people.
- 2:01:59They hate their own people. And then we have Americans
- 2:02:02posting on Instagram, dead babies, God forbid.
- 2:02:05It's horrible, but Israel has to defend itself.
- 2:02:09It has to defend itself and get the hostages.
- 2:02:11Nobody understands these things and it makes you so sad because
- 2:02:15you have a propaganda machine for the enemy.
- 2:02:20That's all we have. And then you have idiots.
- 2:02:23They're giving money to a terror organization, including our own
- 2:02:27government, to kill it, allow its own people to be killed
- 2:02:30because they don't care, so that they can people.
- 2:02:33The world will feel sorry for them.
- 2:02:35And the only comfort I told my friend who was posting a picture
- 2:02:38of a dead baby. It's head was off, it was blown
- 2:02:41off. It's horrible by Israel.
- 2:02:43The only thing I said is my only comfort is that babies go
- 2:02:48straight to heaven. Children go straight to heaven.
- 2:02:51And this person doesn't know that.
- 2:02:53So I didn't tell them they don't believe in Christ like we do.
- 2:02:56But those babies go to heaven and they won't grow up to to
- 2:03:00kill each other. That's it.
- 2:03:02And that's God's grace. That's anyway.
- 2:03:05I know that is so controversial and it shouldn't be, but
- 2:03:08whatever. Listen, listen, I like, I like
- 2:03:11the fact that you're the controversial one and, and not
- 2:03:13me because you know, I'm like I said, I'm, I don't think, I
- 2:03:21don't think I'm that controversial, but you know.
- 2:03:25We think so because. Well, yeah.
- 2:03:28Well, we live in, we live in weird.
- 2:03:30We live in weird times. You know, I, I have, I have a
- 2:03:35friend who I've known via Twitter now for years.
- 2:03:40She lives in Israel and I was actually able to interview her
- 2:03:45last year shortly after October 7th.
- 2:03:49And it was I'll I'll have to send you.
- 2:03:53I'll, I'll have to send it to you.
- 2:03:55It was. Yeah, I'd love to listen.
- 2:03:57I'd love to listen. It was pretty, you know, and
- 2:04:00what she had to say just, you know, from the point of view of
- 2:04:04a, you know, of a civilian and. Yeah.
- 2:04:09And as a mother and is Israel perfect, you know, No.
- 2:04:15Have they made mistakes? Yes, But you know, warfare is
- 2:04:21warfare and if if we're going to if if we're going to hate, you
- 2:04:24know, if we're going to criticize Israel for what
- 2:04:27they're having to do when we always have to criticize Hamas.
- 2:04:31And, you know, and the other thing, and I know this is
- 2:04:35controversial, but I'm sorry, I don't want Americans, you know,
- 2:04:42involved in, you know, the war if we, if we can avoid it.
- 2:04:47You know, I, I, I know that your daughter and I are the same age.
- 2:04:53We were both kids when 911 happened.
- 2:04:59I'm almost 30 and we just got out of a 20 year war in the
- 2:05:06Middle East. That's unbelievable.
- 2:05:10It is, and it's men getting rich and that's the truth.
- 2:05:14It's so many men that have gotten so rich from that war and
- 2:05:18it's something it's an and and it's a war of ideology that you
- 2:05:23know, you can look at us it now we're very similar, not as bad
- 2:05:28where there's missiles, who knows?
- 2:05:32It's so sad, you know, there, yes, but it, that's centuries
- 2:05:38and centuries that it's, it's never gonna end for them because
- 2:05:42of their ideology. It's never going to end.
- 2:05:45And that's it should be none of our business.
- 2:05:48The reason we went over is 911. I had a, a, a military friend
- 2:05:53that, that had to go over and he said think of it this way,
- 2:05:57'cause I'm like, why do we have to do this?
- 2:06:00It is a, think of it this way. They attacked us.
- 2:06:03We have to go there to prevent more from coming here.
- 2:06:07We have to go headed off at the pass because there are these
- 2:06:11radicals and and I believe they do have cells here.
- 2:06:15My prayer is always like you were talking about that, that
- 2:06:19the Americans, you know, I always hope and pray those that
- 2:06:22are here will see how precious an awesome America is and be
- 2:06:26like, if there's freedom here. I've never had it before.
- 2:06:29There's a documentary about the Taj Mahal and the and they have
- 2:06:33all the terror, you know, they have all of the recordings of
- 2:06:36the terrorists and they were going to attack the Taj Mahal
- 2:06:40and, and you can hear them. They had never seen a
- 2:06:42television. They had never this is real.
- 2:06:45Like they, they were so poor. So they were going to do these
- 2:06:50things for money. And it was horrific that, you
- 2:06:55know, I always hope if they're here, they, they'll be like they
- 2:06:58were at the Taj Mahal, like, wait a minute, they have a
- 2:07:01television in every room. But it's real when you listen to
- 2:07:04this, it's, I think it's called something about the Taj Mahal.
- 2:07:07It's a documentary. That's so, it's so good and so
- 2:07:11sad. That's what I call boots on the
- 2:07:13ground 'cause it's, you know, it's real.
- 2:07:15You know, you're getting real information, real radio, the,
- 2:07:19the interception. They finally released it, all
- 2:07:21the intelligence and and it, it I cried through the whole thing.
- 2:07:25I couldn't even believe it. It's so horrific.
- 2:07:28And God forbid something like that happens here.
- 2:07:31It like 911. But it with our borders being so
- 2:07:35unsecure and millions here, millions, it's, it's sadly
- 2:07:41inevitable that something is going to happen.
- 2:07:43And and you know, here you have people saying all eyes on Gaza.
- 2:07:48I'm like, maybe we should put our eyes on what's going on here
- 2:07:53and see people that either love America or hate America.
- 2:07:58You know, we don't know what's here and, and what they're here
- 2:08:02for. And that's, that's a scary
- 2:08:04thing. And that's not racism.
- 2:08:06That's that's called security and common sense.
- 2:08:12Yeah, and what's weird is, you know, like even even 15 years
- 2:08:17ago. Sure people were having debates
- 2:08:21about immigration policy and what not, but the idea of border
- 2:08:25security was shared by Republicans and Democrats like
- 2:08:31that was a non. Yes, that good.
- 2:08:34I call them good Democrats. We need good Democrats.
- 2:08:38Again, it's called common sense, not power.
- 2:08:42You have power politics, and there's a difference between
- 2:08:45power politics and servants. And these people are supposed to
- 2:08:49be elected servants, elected officials, serving the people
- 2:08:53and they're serving themselves, they're serving their pockets.
- 2:08:56And we're seeing a result of bureaucracy that's grown and
- 2:09:01grown and grown to where now it's it's dangerous.
- 2:09:05We're at a very dangerous crossroads in history where you
- 2:09:10have, like you said, atticles at the helm like activists,
- 2:09:14activists, which, which instead of common sense, they're trying
- 2:09:20to force something that is, they really believe that, you know,
- 2:09:24they believe it's the common good.
- 2:09:26That's the scary thing. And and when when people believe
- 2:09:29something's good, nothing's more evil.
- 2:09:32Nothing's more. Nothing more evil can come about
- 2:09:34than people thinking that the world is good.
- 2:09:38There's nothing more evil and sinister that's going to come
- 2:09:41from good people that really believe in something.
- 2:09:45And they're like, you know, but but The thing is, I really
- 2:09:49believe this with all my heart. And, and like you said, the
- 2:09:51bullshit meter, I think that they have opened the borders
- 2:09:55purposely because all of those are votes so that they can
- 2:09:59secure power forever. Like I believe that with all my
- 2:10:03heart because these people are going to be fed and sheltered
- 2:10:09and given money. And then you have veterans that
- 2:10:12are left in the street. I mean, you could go on and on
- 2:10:14about how sinister it is. And then we're going to have
- 2:10:17crime that we can't handle. We're going to have welfare we
- 2:10:20can't cover. We're going to collapse.
- 2:10:22A nation can't do what we're doing it it will collapse.
- 2:10:26Every great nation rises and falls.
- 2:10:28Rome was one of the greatest nations.
- 2:10:31If you read all about Rome, we're very similar, but greater
- 2:10:34America is the longest of any empire.
- 2:10:38And we are supposed to be a Republic, not a not a democracy.
- 2:10:42And this is where people get it wrong.
- 2:10:44Oh, this is a, you know, they keep saying to each other on
- 2:10:48both sides, that's a threat to democracy, a threat to
- 2:10:52democracy. You know what a threat to
- 2:10:54democracy is a democracy. We're supposed to be a Republic
- 2:11:00with a system of checks and balances.
- 2:11:02We're supposed to be a civilized country That that law and order
- 2:11:09is important. But but what happens with a
- 2:11:12democracy? You end up with the stupidest
- 2:11:16people. I'm being honest, the dumbest
- 2:11:18human beings at the helm and maybe end up being dictators.
- 2:11:23You end up with thugs at the helm of every democracy.
- 2:11:28A democracy doesn't work all the into history.
- 2:11:32It it's being dissolved before our eyes because it's not a
- 2:11:36democracy. You have the, the, the most
- 2:11:39powerful people, and I don't mean to be mean, but they're not
- 2:11:43enlightened people. They're dumb people that think
- 2:11:46they're smart. They're arrogant dictators, just
- 2:11:49like every dictator. They think they know the common
- 2:11:52good for the people and the people are stupid.
- 2:11:53They're no longer servants for the good they are.
- 2:11:57They are over. They lured their power over the
- 2:12:01weak. And that's what we have and it's
- 2:12:03terrifying. And that's what a democracy is.
- 2:12:06And I'm sad that we don't know that the people aren't taught
- 2:12:09that what a Republic is versus we're one Republic.
- 2:12:13And it should be that way. And we, and nationalism is a
- 2:12:17good thing and it causes borders and it causes another country to
- 2:12:21be independent on their own and, and, and their business and us
- 2:12:26to have our business. You know what I mean?
- 2:12:28And I love that we have states rights and even the I could go
- 2:12:31on and on. I don't know why I'm blabbing on
- 2:12:33this stuff. I'm not, I'm not a political
- 2:12:35person, but I get sad because I feel like people are very
- 2:12:38uneducated and, and, and I get sad for what's happening to our
- 2:12:43country because it's, it's a lot of idiots that are very wealthy
- 2:12:48and they're, it's like they take a bribe and they, they don't
- 2:12:51care about us. They don't care about us.
- 2:12:54They care about their power and their money and, and they're
- 2:12:57going to get it and they're going to politicize.
- 2:13:00You know, I think Dennis Quaid said it best.
- 2:13:05I heard him the other day and I was shocked because Hollywood
- 2:13:08will frown on him when you politicize, when you weaponize
- 2:13:13the courts the way they've done. And and there's not, there's not
- 2:13:18a court of, of your peers. They're not your peers.
- 2:13:21They're not your peers when they politically are leaning once
- 2:13:25what one way every single one of them, every single one of them
- 2:13:28look at them and and they won't allow you to see into the court.
- 2:13:32There was a reason they don't allow you to see into the court
- 2:13:34because there was not only a bias with each one of them.
- 2:13:37And and and I don't, I don't love Trump.
- 2:13:40I I don't like his personality, but it's the principle that the,
- 2:13:45if this happens once it you know, my only hope is that their
- 2:13:50crimes fall back on their heads because they're binding the
- 2:13:54hands of a political opponent. It was like here was someone
- 2:13:58that never was gonna run for the presidency, and now he's being
- 2:14:02put through a kangaroo court of arrogant stupid.
- 2:14:08Not they're not and they are stupid.
- 2:14:11They're not it. It's odd.
- 2:14:13They don't have honest objectivity, and they're not.
- 2:14:18They're not what is not what is the word they're.
- 2:14:22They're. Not, and they're not objective,
- 2:14:25but there's a word that the courts, you know, go by that
- 2:14:29you're supposed and it's it's a law for them.
- 2:14:32They're supposed to have expediency, not expediency.
- 2:14:36It's another word and I don't know why it left my head.
- 2:14:38I've been talking to my husband about it, but they don't have it
- 2:14:42and it's evil. It's like, my gosh, you know, my
- 2:14:46friend goes, I can't believe he was convicted on all 34 accounts
- 2:14:51or indict, you know, indicted and, and, and convicted on all
- 2:14:5534 accounts. I said, of course he was.
- 2:14:58That's what they wanted to do when they did it.
- 2:15:01They did what they wanted. Can I that's simple.
- 2:15:04Like, of course they did. There was not one person in
- 2:15:08there that was objective or or had the law, not the law of
- 2:15:14expediency. I'll, I'll think of it.
- 2:15:15They have no, not prudence. You know where they're just
- 2:15:20looking at the law. They're not looking at the
- 2:15:22person. They're looking at the laws,
- 2:15:25really looking at the laws. It's caught.
- 2:15:26It's a word I'll think of later, but none of them functioned by
- 2:15:30it. And that's, I feel like they
- 2:15:32should all go to jail for that. I feel like if I, I'm not a, I'm
- 2:15:37not one of your peers sitting in court, if I automatic say it was
- 2:15:41a prostitute and I hate prostitutes.
- 2:15:43I hate them. I hate prostitutes.
- 2:15:46I've been outspoken about it and I put money into people that
- 2:15:50persecute prostitution. I, I put my, I'm just making a,
- 2:15:53a, you know, a, an example and I have a real bias and my, my, you
- 2:15:58know, my, something happened to my family that makes me hate
- 2:16:02them even more. All I'm going to do is sit there
- 2:16:05and prosecute this person. That's all I'm going to do.
- 2:16:08I'm going to find anything wrong.
- 2:16:10And it's even bigger than that. You have a someone that's I
- 2:16:15just, it's, it's crazy. I just don't believe anything
- 2:16:18anymore. And it's and it, and it's
- 2:16:19terrifying. Can I, can I ask since you
- 2:16:24brought up the court, you know, the whole kangaroo court thing.
- 2:16:29I wasn't initially going to bring to bring this up, but you
- 2:16:33broke I. Don't know where it came from,
- 2:16:34sorry. No, no, it's, it's OK.
- 2:16:38You, you broached this topic, but I, I have to bring it up.
- 2:16:43I, I am, well, I, I am glad that we, that we did this on Monday
- 2:16:49because we, you know, we were initially thinking of doing this
- 2:16:52what, Friday and then that's when the whole news broke, you
- 2:16:55know, about the, about. The.
- 2:16:59And in all the news articles that I read, both Barbara Moore,
- 2:17:09who I know, who you know, and Karen McDougal, both of them
- 2:17:12were brought up in various articles.
- 2:17:16And let me just say from the outset, I don't know what their
- 2:17:22relationship with him was like and I don't care.
- 2:17:28People have asked me to comment on it and I, you know, I don't
- 2:17:33know anything so. I know that Karen had a a
- 2:17:36relationship with them that she's outspoken about.
- 2:17:40I think Barbara dated him a little bit.
- 2:17:42But you know, those are things way before he even knew he was
- 2:17:45going to become president. In his defense, Another thing
- 2:17:49is, you know, it, it's like people do not only change or get
- 2:17:55married and move on or whatever. He's not a perfect man.
- 2:17:58Again, back to Hugh Hefner. I, I don't, I don't think that,
- 2:18:02you know, a lot of people are like, oh, he's disgusting,
- 2:18:04womanize or blah, blah, blah. I don't believe the allegations
- 2:18:08against him either because women fell at his feet, not because of
- 2:18:12his money. I'm just being real, his money
- 2:18:14and his power. But that said, all that aside, I
- 2:18:18don't care about that either, just like I didn't with Clinton
- 2:18:22and the girl, you know, under the desk.
- 2:18:25If you're leading the country, lead the country and the things
- 2:18:30that you did are, are people better off now than they were
- 2:18:34four years ago? Those are the things you want to
- 2:18:36ask. Can I afford groceries?
- 2:18:38Can I feed my children? Can I fill up my gas tank?
- 2:18:42Can I talk? Do I have my First Amendment
- 2:18:45right? You know, am I going to go to
- 2:18:46jail because I don't believe in in something somebody wants me
- 2:18:49to believe? Am I going to get arrested for
- 2:18:52not calling you? She what things make life better
- 2:18:56and and are we safer and are is there a system of law and order?
- 2:19:00That's what I care about, whether Barbara slept with him
- 2:19:05or whatever. And I love Barbara.
- 2:19:06She's my friend. I love her and she loves Trump.
- 2:19:08She's like go Trump. And I think that that's great.
- 2:19:11We have the right to do that. And the word I was looking for
- 2:19:15was impartial. They take an oath to be
- 2:19:18impartial and that's true justice as being impartial.
- 2:19:21And they were all partial in every way.
- 2:19:24They looked at him with seething eyes, with hatred.
- 2:19:27And that's why they wouldn't let us look.
- 2:19:28That's why they didn't let the cameras in there, because they
- 2:19:31don't know the law. They they feel stupid.
- 2:19:34And I believe that. I believe we should have been
- 2:19:36able to see in. But then there are people that
- 2:19:38believe something or want you to believe it so bad they're going
- 2:19:41to parrot things and and parrot whatever without their own
- 2:19:45thinking 'cause they hate him. It's almost an irrational
- 2:19:49hatred. And hatred spreads like
- 2:19:51wildfire. And hatred is fun and hatred.
- 2:19:55I know that sounds gross, but it's true.
- 2:19:56It's part of the lust pattern of our sin nature.
- 2:19:59It is hatred is fun for people. It makes them feel good about
- 2:20:03themselves. When someone is suffering, they
- 2:20:06feel great. It's evil and and that's not
- 2:20:09justice. Justice looks at, even if you
- 2:20:13don't like someone, it looks at the law and it looks at the
- 2:20:17behavior not of their past behavior, which makes no sense.
- 2:20:21It's none of our business what he did back then.
- 2:20:24It it's our business about what's happening in our country
- 2:20:28and who's going to lead it, who's a good leader.
- 2:20:31And and I want a leader. I don't want a mush mouth ice
- 2:20:35cream eating retard. I don't.
- 2:20:37And I don't mean and I never say bad things about people or even
- 2:20:41our leaders because I respect the office.
- 2:20:43I don't believe, and this is, I can't believe I'm saying this,
- 2:20:46but I'm going to say it because maybe no one will hear this
- 2:20:48anyway, but I'm saying it. I really want to know if the
- 2:20:52elections were fair. I want to know the real thing
- 2:20:55about this insurrection that they use.
- 2:20:58Yeah, there are weirdos on both sides.
- 2:21:00And if there are weird maggot people, they should be in
- 2:21:03trouble. I, with all my heart, I believe
- 2:21:05that. And so did Trump.
- 2:21:07So does Trump. He even said it.
- 2:21:09He said if these people, they should be arrested if they did
- 2:21:13something wrong. But they, if you look at all the
- 2:21:16evidence, which I saw with my own eyes, the things that they
- 2:21:19released, I'm like, why did they tell security to stand down?
- 2:21:25Why did they tell the people to come in?
- 2:21:28I want to know these things that I don't want to hear what just
- 2:21:32sound bites of it's an insurrection.
- 2:21:34He's a threat to democracy. You know, I, I'm not dumb, I'm
- 2:21:39not stupid. I'm like you, I have a radar.
- 2:21:42I can see bullshit. And I'm like, no, I we've, we
- 2:21:46can't be silent anymore. I want to know the truth.
- 2:21:48Show me the truth. If even if I hate Trump's guts
- 2:21:51and I don't want him to be president, I want to know the
- 2:21:53truth. I don't want certainly, you know
- 2:21:56what I mean by that? Like, I'm not going to just duck
- 2:21:59my head in the ground and just listen to everybody like the
- 2:22:02mob, like, oh, yeah, you guys think it.
- 2:22:04I think it. And then also, it's like I saw
- 2:22:09with my own eyes that I believed to be real those vote
- 2:22:13harvesters. And then how in the world if
- 2:22:16they really recorded all of those votes and it's more votes
- 2:22:20than anybody's ever voted, I don't believe it because I knew
- 2:22:23people that had always voted Democrat personally that voted
- 2:22:28for Trump. So all of us really thought he
- 2:22:31had it. I mean, when you saw all the
- 2:22:33people. So I do want, I do question
- 2:22:35that. And that's my American right to
- 2:22:37question. I feel like we should have paper
- 2:22:39ballots and whoever wins wins. I get that.
- 2:22:42But I just in my heart of hearts don't believe what is at the
- 2:22:46helm of like, you know, the leader of the free world is our
- 2:22:51leader of the free world. I don't feel like he really is.
- 2:22:55He's not I, it's sad. I, I, I respect the office of
- 2:22:59presidency, but I've never seen anything like this when
- 2:23:03someone's senile and, and everybody knows that the
- 2:23:07Democrats, he's got the even Democrats with any clue have,
- 2:23:11you know, they're so ashamed and embarrassed and it's so sad
- 2:23:16what's happening. And, and I wish we had someone
- 2:23:19good to vote for, but I'm with, I'm with Dennis Quaid.
- 2:23:23I am totally with Dennis Quaid. I mean, I'm standing for what's
- 2:23:27right. And it's the principle at this
- 2:23:29point. I would rather have somebody who
- 2:23:31respects good leadership and, and, and you know, I think he
- 2:23:36made a few mistakes during the pandemic, but but he's listening
- 2:23:40to the experts. He's listening to our good
- 2:23:44military leaders. I think he, as a businessman,
- 2:23:47understands what's at stake here.
- 2:23:50And, and you have far left radicals who hate capitalism.
- 2:23:54And that's what makes America great.
- 2:23:56You just, there's got to be a system of checks and balances so
- 2:24:00that greed doesn't dictate. That's it.
- 2:24:04It's that simple. But people are afraid of
- 2:24:07capitalism. But yet they're the very people,
- 2:24:10you know why, Sam? The human nature.
- 2:24:13You listen, you listen to CNN, I tell people this, the sound
- 2:24:17bites on all of these far left, they're really activists.
- 2:24:22They're not journalists. If you listen to what they say,
- 2:24:25they're projecting their flaws on to their opponent.
- 2:24:28So that's scary. You keep hearing that Trump's
- 2:24:30gonna round us up and blah, blah, blah.
- 2:24:33It's like that's what they want to do.
- 2:24:36That's what they want to do to the people that don't go along
- 2:24:38with them. I believe that.
- 2:24:40Well, I believe that. I believe they're the ones that
- 2:24:42are like, you shut up, Christian.
- 2:24:44You shut up capitalist. You shut up nationalist.
- 2:24:49Well, well, I you know, I like, they hate.
- 2:24:52That. Well, I actually had this
- 2:24:54argument with someone. So I I'm a bit addicted to
- 2:24:59Twitter as anyone who who spends any time on there, we'll know
- 2:25:04Like I'm I'm constantly on Twitter.
- 2:25:07And I and I had this back. And forth with someone who was
- 2:25:11like, you know, Trump's the next Hitler and Trump's going to
- 2:25:15round everyone up. And my response was.
- 2:25:18We all, well, we already had, we already had one.
- 2:25:21Term of him, if he was going to do if he was going to round
- 2:25:25people up, he could have done it the first go round, he could
- 2:25:29have done it day one and it didn't have well and and the
- 2:25:34rational the rationalization was well he didn't have his
- 2:25:37structure in place to do so and it's like.
- 2:25:42What? How is that?
- 2:25:44With Pizarro, Yeah, yeah, it doesn't make sense.
- 2:25:49Hitler. What's so crazy is do they even?
- 2:25:53But these are the very people that are standing for people
- 2:25:56that kill Jews, that hate Jews, hate them.
- 2:25:59They're it's so bizarre to me that, you know, these are people
- 2:26:04that that are standing for anti-Semitism if you look into
- 2:26:09it very deeply, but are calling Trump who loves America, who was
- 2:26:14very patriotic. That's that's not Nazi
- 2:26:16communism. It's the opposite.
- 2:26:18They're they're the fascist. So everything that that these,
- 2:26:23that the far left does very clearly, this is just
- 2:26:26objectivity. And I know some socialist
- 2:26:29that'll tell you, yes, I believe this.
- 2:26:31I they believe in socialism. It's not far from Nazism.
- 2:26:35It's not far. And, and, and what's so crazy is
- 2:26:40they're calling him Hitler. It's like, and, and that he's
- 2:26:44racist. Where did they get that?
- 2:26:45He's, he's again back to Hugh Hefner.
- 2:26:48He's one that was friends with Hef that put black, black women
- 2:26:54very wealthy, like put them in business, help them with
- 2:26:59businesses or wanted them to succeed.
- 2:27:01He wants people to succeed. That's the reality of it.
- 2:27:05And so where they come, where they're coming from, it doesn't
- 2:27:10make sense to me where they're coming from, Sam.
- 2:27:13And when they say these things, I'm just like, that is so scary
- 2:27:17that they think someone that wants to make America great
- 2:27:20again, which think of that as a beautiful thing to make America
- 2:27:24great again because it's not anymore.
- 2:27:26I'm just being honest. Like I look around and we've
- 2:27:29never had such homeless and where I live homeless and it's
- 2:27:35been crime and and no accountability and, and, and
- 2:27:40they overlooked that. Don't look at that.
- 2:27:43But somehow that's they, they make it racist so they can stay
- 2:27:47in power. As far as I'm concerned, that's
- 2:27:49as simple as it is. They stay in power by telling
- 2:27:53people, you know, that this man's race.
- 2:27:56It's so weird. He's racist.
- 2:27:59Like show me where, where he's ever said white pride.
- 2:28:03When has he ever said, you know it?
- 2:28:06It doesn't even make sense. Hitler was vile.
- 2:28:09He killed 6,000,000 Jews, killed them 6,000,000 have them
- 2:28:13annihilated. Like how?
- 2:28:16How can you compare that? That's almost well, to me.
- 2:28:20It is satanic, it's demonic, it's evil, it's from the pits of
- 2:28:23hell. If you say that American
- 2:28:25nationalism, which is every color, the melting pot, it's
- 2:28:29every, every culture, every religion, that's what America's
- 2:28:32supposed to be. But we stand for a country
- 2:28:35that's free under one flag. That's beautiful.
- 2:28:39Every American, wherever they come from, every race, creed,
- 2:28:43all of it. That's what he stood for in
- 2:28:47every sense of the word. And then it they, they shut
- 2:28:51people's mouths that, you know, especially they don't want to
- 2:28:55hear a, a, an intelligent black person that loves America.
- 2:29:00They don't wanna, you know, they push the Larry elders out.
- 2:29:03They push people who have common sense out and don't want anyone
- 2:29:07to hear them. So crazy, 'cause we have great
- 2:29:12Americans and they don't look at their skin color.
- 2:29:15They don't, you know, anything or disabilities.
- 2:29:18Nobody looks at that. If you're functioning right with
- 2:29:21America, you don't, you don't you?
- 2:29:24You look at what's fundamentally right.
- 2:29:27And that should be all of us as responsible Americans.
- 2:29:31And there are a lot of Democrats speaking out right now about
- 2:29:34what's going on with weaponizing the courts because it's coming
- 2:29:37back to them. You don't want this.
- 2:29:38You don't want to open this Pandora's box.
- 2:29:41You don't want to do it. So, you know, a lot of them are
- 2:29:45speaking out, saying that, you know, they're partial.
- 2:29:47This is not an impartial court. This is not it's all obvious.
- 2:29:51And then you have a president that's smiling on the, you know,
- 2:29:54he, I saw him grin when they said what do, what do you think
- 2:29:57about the verdict? And he thinks it's funny.
- 2:29:59And that's, you know, nobody's above the law.
- 2:30:04You know, neither are you, neither are you lying.
- 2:30:08You know, all these people that make up lies, it's bizarre or
- 2:30:12opinion. They, they go by opinion instead
- 2:30:15of honesty and, and being objective and, and getting all
- 2:30:19the facts because they just want the power and want to be right.
- 2:30:22None of us should think that way anyway.
- 2:30:25Yeah, now that's my opinion. That's my.
- 2:30:30Opinion boy. Well, if you.
- 2:30:34Know what I I probably better let you go.
- 2:30:35It's already 2:00. I have to feed my dogs.
- 2:30:40No, no, it's fine. I've enjoyed.
- 2:30:42I've enjoyed having you. We're on this long, Sam.
- 2:30:45It's so fun talking to you. Yeah, likewise.
- 2:30:49I I enjoyed having you and you know you're you're welcome back
- 2:30:56at a time. I I I love this.
- 2:30:59You know, me too. This was fun.
- 2:31:02And I guess one last question I have is, is do you have anything
- 2:31:08you'd like to promote or? Anything I'd like to what?
- 2:31:12To promote or you know where can.
- 2:31:15People buy well, the Bunny Chronicles.
- 2:31:17We're we're we haven't been real consistent.
- 2:31:19I ended up with breast cancer and that kind of threw us for a
- 2:31:22loop. But anyway, yeah, the Bunny
- 2:31:25chronicles, it's on most platforms.
- 2:31:28What else? Just my I mean, I don't have
- 2:31:31very many followers on Instagram.
- 2:31:33My original Instagram was hacked a long time ago.
- 2:31:36Let's see, but you could go to, I think it's I have three
- 2:31:40different ones now. I have my Corina playmate of the
- 2:31:43year 1, my Corina Harney one and my Harney Jones one.
- 2:31:47Ridiculous. But then I have my Facebook,
- 2:31:49Corina Harney Facebook and a movie that we're still
- 2:31:56finishing, but I may as well plug it.
- 2:31:59It's going to be called Vegas Bloodbath.
- 2:32:01It's a crazy slasher comedy that I'm playing a a former iconic
- 2:32:06wrestler and and she goes on a rampage.
- 2:32:09So anyway, silly fun. And then, gosh, I should just, I
- 2:32:15don't know how many followers followers you have.
- 2:32:17I should just go start a GoFundMe and tell them to give
- 2:32:20me money. Just kidding.
- 2:32:21I'm totally kidding. I don't have anything really to
- 2:32:23promote Sam. No, no.
- 2:32:26Well, I always like to give my guests, you know, an opportunity
- 2:32:29to do so. You know, wow, this was this was
- 2:32:35a. Way.
- 2:32:37You know, longer and deep, deeper conversation than I
- 2:32:41thought would, but I love it. I'm here for.
- 2:32:45No, no. I listen, I, I love, I love
- 2:32:49these, you know, conversations and I'm going to post the whole
- 2:32:53thing. I find it.
- 2:32:56I know I didn't tell you this, but the name of, you know, the
- 2:32:59name of my podcast network is called Right to Offend Media and
- 2:33:04oh, you know. Awesome.
- 2:33:08We we have all sorts of different voices and we don't
- 2:33:13censor. And so your opinion is
- 2:33:16definitely welcome and feel free.
- 2:33:18To. Come back anytime.
- 2:33:21So perfect. Well, thank you so much.
- 2:33:24Thanks for having me on. It was fun.
- 2:33:26Fun that I got to offend people. Well, you know, you might have
- 2:33:32offended a few people, but I'm sure you've gained a whole lot.
- 2:33:36You know, I was already a fan of yours, but my admiration for you
- 2:33:41just skyrocketed even more than thank.
- 2:33:45You, Sam, reading your book. Everyone needs to read your
- 2:33:48book. I need to post me reading it
- 2:33:50and, and put it out there and on my Facebook because you're such
- 2:33:56an excellent writer and you're a brilliant mind and I'm grateful
- 2:34:00for people like you. I was telling my daughter about
- 2:34:02you, 'cause you're the same age. And I was telling her.
- 2:34:05I said it's people like Sam. I feel like there's hope for
- 2:34:08America. I just do.
- 2:34:09I feel like there's hope for us. And that's.
- 2:34:12Oh, awesome. Thank you.
- 2:34:13So. I I feel I feel the same way
- 2:34:16about you about you and you know, echo your your Co host the
- 2:34:22fact that you. Guys are.
- 2:34:24The fact that you guys are sticking up against Hansel
- 2:34:27Coulter, which you know, and and she's ferocious, Yeah, love her
- 2:34:36in a very. Good way, yes.
- 2:34:38Yeah, I know. I kind of, I, I tell her because
- 2:34:42there's been a few times just 'cause I don't ever want to
- 2:34:45slander anyone's character and I don't like to gossip.
- 2:34:48I'm not, I've, I just, it's a principle in me.
- 2:34:50It's ingrained in me. But when it comes to standing up
- 2:34:53for truth or standing up for someone, I don't want a
- 2:34:56character assassinate, but I want to call people out, you
- 2:34:59know? But I tell her let's, I think
- 2:35:02some, there's been a few times where I'm like, I just don't
- 2:35:06want to get into a war with someone.
- 2:35:07I'm, I don't have the energy because they'll take you down.
- 2:35:12And, and that's sad. It's sad, but not that I care.
- 2:35:15At least I, I know I have God and, and, and you know, he's my
- 2:35:19vindicator. It doesn't matter if the world
- 2:35:21hates me, you know, and I need to just relax about those
- 2:35:26things. But sometimes I get, I get funny
- 2:35:28because there's a few people we could get into a war with
- 2:35:30because especially echo, where she'll be vicious.
- 2:35:34She will, she's vicious. I'm like, don't, I don't, I'm
- 2:35:39like, I'm more like, I don't want to, I don't want to get in
- 2:35:42a fight with I don't want to call people names.
- 2:35:45I don't care if they call us names.
- 2:35:47But they've been mean to her. There's been people and all
- 2:35:50these trolls and they, they're so mean and and they just stick
- 2:35:54with the people they love. They're they you know, I hate to
- 2:35:57bring up girls next door, but a lot of young girls just watch
- 2:36:00the show and meet and you know, they don't know anything about
- 2:36:03the magazine. They just love the girls and
- 2:36:05that's awesome. They're fans and and that's and
- 2:36:08those girls are famous and they're adorable, but I mean,
- 2:36:12they have these already. We're getting trolls and people
- 2:36:16saying look at you guys are old and blah, blah, blah, and
- 2:36:19calling us fat and old and, you know, whatever.
- 2:36:22And it, it's just superficial and it's silly, but it's it, you
- 2:36:27know, they have their, their fangirls and they, they don't
- 2:36:30want, they just believe anything they hear from their, you know,
- 2:36:35people that they, they admire. That's it.
- 2:36:40Well, a lot, well a lot of them are also probably mad because
- 2:36:46their boyfriend, their boyfriends and or husbands, you
- 2:36:49know, like Playboy and for some reason that makes them insecure
- 2:36:54and. Yeah.
- 2:36:56That's not your guy's problem, that's that's their problem.
- 2:37:00But. Well, it's also like I said,
- 2:37:02there's narratives and people's truth and you and you can't step
- 2:37:06on what their experience might be.
- 2:37:08But you know, some of them exaggerate or even lie.
- 2:37:12And then they have fans that follow them and say, oh, you
- 2:37:16know, I I believe everything they say.
- 2:37:18So when they hear the truth, see if you believe, if you if you
- 2:37:23believe the if you believe a lie, you reject the truth or
- 2:37:27other way around when you reject the truth, you believe the lie.
- 2:37:31That's just sadly common sense. People don't realize.
- 2:37:35But if you reject the truth, you believe the lie in anything.
- 2:37:39And, and a lot of these people, you know, they already reject
- 2:37:44the truth of anything and then they believe lies.
- 2:37:47And sometimes you're part of that.
- 2:37:49That's what's crazy. If you're in the public eye at
- 2:37:52all or on a podcast at all, you're gonna be the brunt of
- 2:37:56attack. It is what it is.
- 2:37:58You're gonna have people that believe, you know, they, they
- 2:38:02don't want the truth or they have their own truth.
- 2:38:05Everybody always says it's my truth, but what's truth to you?
- 2:38:10If if I had an experience that goes against your truth, that's
- 2:38:15not truth, that's a lie. You know what I mean?
- 2:38:19And then these young girls that are listening to these liars and
- 2:38:23they are liars and exaggerators and then manipulators and, and
- 2:38:28narcissists, they listen to that.
- 2:38:31And then the people who are narcissists say that other
- 2:38:35people are narcissists. That's what's going on out
- 2:38:37there. It's it cracks me up sometimes I
- 2:38:39listen and I go, my gosh, that's a real narcissist calling
- 2:38:43someone else a narcissist. And then these young girls are
- 2:38:46like, I love her. She's perfect and she's and I
- 2:38:50know that she's right. So you guys are lying.
- 2:38:53Hef was a rapist and a this and a that.
- 2:38:56And it's like, Oh my gosh, I, I didn't even know I'd defend, be
- 2:39:00defending a dead man here. But here we are, Sam.
- 2:39:03Yeah, I never, I never thought so either.
- 2:39:07So, but you know. So it's just, you know, it's
- 2:39:12what it is. But it was so good being on your
- 2:39:14show. Yeah, I never thought I'd be
- 2:39:17have to defend the fact that I like that, I like women and
- 2:39:21there's nothing wrong with that, but here we are.
- 2:39:24It's just. Oh, you misogynist, you dusting.
- 2:39:27You're so gross, Sam, that you like that you find women
- 2:39:31attractive. That's so weird.
- 2:39:34You should find men attractive. You should find men that think
- 2:39:38they're women attract, you know, think they're women.
- 2:39:40You should find those men attractive only.
- 2:39:44Yeah, yeah. When, when, when Playboy put
- 2:39:49that cover out after half died. I was like, OK, it's.
- 2:39:53Well, heck would have had nothing to do with that.
- 2:39:56He knew what the hot blooded American male liked.
- 2:39:59He knew what the hot blooded American male liked.
- 2:40:03And there's nothing wrong with masculinity and and and a man
- 2:40:06finding a real feminine woman attractive.
- 2:40:10Well, that's that's the odd thing is, is people are like,
- 2:40:13well, well, half was for LGBT, right.
- 2:40:16And it's like, well, yes, he might have been, but he was also
- 2:40:20a businessman and understood his target demographics.
- 2:40:24This is. Also.
- 2:40:25You know what sold that magazine?
- 2:40:27Absolutely. Well, the sports.
- 2:40:30Yeah, heterosexual males. Sorry, it was heterosexual males
- 2:40:35that and, and he had every right under freedom to make a magazine
- 2:40:39like that and to make all of the money that he made.
- 2:40:41And no one should take down an empire, which they did by
- 2:40:46putting Well, for one thing, I have a friend that transitioned
- 2:40:50when I say friend, we're not like good friends or anything,
- 2:40:53but transitioned and we had a conversation because at least
- 2:40:56they were objective. Here you go.
- 2:40:59And she was a beautiful girl. Little tiny little thing took
- 2:41:03hormones, which I don't even you know, that's a whole other
- 2:41:06subject, Sam, because I'm, you know, I don't wish, I don't wish
- 2:41:11a hormone problems on anyone. All of us going through
- 2:41:13menopause, horrific. It's why would you take hormones
- 2:41:18and do weird things to your body?
- 2:41:19Our hormones are a big deal. Our hormones matter and we're
- 2:41:23made a certain way. So that said, a lot of these
- 2:41:27doctors are horrible. Aside from being butchers,
- 2:41:30they're putting hormones in young people whose brains aren't
- 2:41:33even because of their hormones. They're not making rational
- 2:41:37decisions anyway. And then their 20s to give
- 2:41:39someone hormones. So I I have a friend that was
- 2:41:42transitioning, taking testosterone, turning into a
- 2:41:44dude all the hair. But I said I was I could be very
- 2:41:49honest with this person that's about your age.
- 2:41:52And I said, do you ever I said, you know, I and I said it in a
- 2:41:57kind way because I never want to hurt anyone's feelings.
- 2:41:59But I said in a way, you're a liar.
- 2:42:03And she, I was still calling her she that became he it she, he,
- 2:42:08you know, it, it whatever said to me or not, whatever, you
- 2:42:13know, they want to be respected as he now.
- 2:42:16So he said, what do you mean a liar?
- 2:42:20I said, well, are you right off the bat telling people I'm, I'm
- 2:42:24really, you know, I've transitioned from female.
- 2:42:27And he said, why would I have to do that?
- 2:42:29I I said, because you don't have a penis like that simple.
- 2:42:34You don't have a penis. That's why and, and she said,
- 2:42:38well, it shouldn't matter if someone loves you.
- 2:42:40I said it does. And and I said, because if you
- 2:42:44fall in love or make someone fall in love with you and they
- 2:42:47think that you're a man and they fall madly in love with you and
- 2:42:50they, their whole desire, they want to have a family and kids
- 2:42:54and you can't give them kids. And, and, and then you, you
- 2:42:58didn't tell them up front, you know, if you're a liar.
- 2:43:02If somebody did that to me, if my husband was really a female
- 2:43:06and I fell in love with him and I really thought he's it.
- 2:43:10And even if as a Christian, if you were saving yourself for
- 2:43:13marriage and then all of a sudden you're in the bedroom and
- 2:43:16you're like, what the hell. Like what?
- 2:43:22It's it's mind blowingly wrong. That's a liar that that's a mind
- 2:43:27F that is that's you're basically a liar.
- 2:43:31You have to tell someone up front to be fair and to be
- 2:43:33right. Anyway, the same person ended up
- 2:43:36in an all male job and didn't even understand the psychology
- 2:43:40of male versus female and was never in a room of just males as
- 2:43:44a male. So came came over to my because
- 2:43:49it was my friend's my daughter's friend and was mortified and
- 2:43:53said I did not know guys were this gross.
- 2:43:56I didn't know guys were this gross.
- 2:43:58I don't know if I can work there and here with the beard, this
- 2:44:02little stocking now because of all the hormones, like, you
- 2:44:05know, deep voice now, but but like I didn't know.
- 2:44:09I didn't know that that guys were this gross.
- 2:44:12They don't they'd say the grossest things.
- 2:44:13They rip ass, they're farting. They're like all these things
- 2:44:17that this job, like it's an all male and they're and they're
- 2:44:21talking about women and they're talking about things that men
- 2:44:24talk about in private. And I get that.
- 2:44:27I mean, I'm, I'm one of the guys, guys, guys are guys.
- 2:44:30There is a difference between. So I, I just, I'm like, that's
- 2:44:36what you get for lying. That's what you get for lying.
- 2:44:39You know, now you're in a world you don't.
- 2:44:41And I pray for this person because you can't be happy.
- 2:44:46I don't if you're not normal in your own skin.
- 2:44:49And then I have another friend. I can't believe now I am going
- 2:44:51to get in trouble. But these things bother me that
- 2:44:53I'm always silent about. I have a friend that's also a
- 2:44:58transvestite that has a penis but functions, you know, but
- 2:45:02tells everyone that it's a female one.
- 2:45:05I won't say where I am or who because then I'm pointing
- 2:45:08fingers and I like this person. I respect this person because
- 2:45:13they they make good films and and they don't make films,
- 2:45:17believe it or not, that are that are pushing a narrative.
- 2:45:21Does that make sense? So they make decent films, but
- 2:45:24used to be a man and I guess I worked with this person when
- 2:45:27they were a man and somebody took me aside and said that's so
- 2:45:30and so. And I'm like, what?
- 2:45:33I mean, I knew it was a man. It wasn't fool.
- 2:45:35It's this person wasn't fooling anybody.
- 2:45:37It's he's big. He has fake boobs, but big and
- 2:45:41is a dude. What?
- 2:45:43But does little fake voice and, you know, takes the estrogen and
- 2:45:49but deep, deep tries to. So that said, this person won
- 2:45:55female female and I'm a filmmaker, you know, so I think
- 2:46:00about this. I think about whoever worked
- 2:46:01their ass off that was born a female.
- 2:46:04And I think of this was sports. That makes me mad.
- 2:46:06And that's a whole other thing. I know it it but and then I'll
- 2:46:09get off of here and and leave you alone for the day.
- 2:46:11But but anyway, this person won female female filmmaker of the
- 2:46:17year for my state female filmmaker of the year.
- 2:46:21Now I like this person, but I'm not going to pretend that I'm
- 2:46:25happy that a man, one female filmmaker of the year and I am
- 2:46:30the only thing I because he's she is so sweet to me.
- 2:46:33You know, you have to respect that she wants to be She she's
- 2:46:37so sweet to me and I hug her every time I see her and I know
- 2:46:41that it's you know, it's not really a female wasn't born a
- 2:46:44female just wants to be and I I care about this person.
- 2:46:48I've loved for these people. I do.
- 2:46:49I don't hate anybody, but there's something that has to
- 2:46:53hurt the person that worked the butt off and did a great job as
- 2:46:57a real female that isn't pretending to be a female and
- 2:47:01doesn't get female filmmaker of the year.
- 2:47:03And they all praised this person and did a big ceremony for this
- 2:47:07person and stood around this person and they won it.
- 2:47:10And they're so proud and outspoken about it.
- 2:47:13And to me, it's back to my other friend that's that went from
- 2:47:16female to male, but not really because they still that one has
- 2:47:20a penis and this one still has a vagina.
- 2:47:24I don't to me that you're lying. I would be embarrassed.
- 2:47:28I would be embarrassed to take that award.
- 2:47:30Do you know what I mean? I would be embarrassed if I was
- 2:47:33pretending to be a man and I won.
- 2:47:35But but it's always the men that win.
- 2:47:37The women don't The men still win the women.
- 2:47:41Well, if a woman tries to go into male sports, it as a a
- 2:47:46woman be pretending to be a man, she's going to lose no matter
- 2:47:50what every sport a real female, if she's looks like a male or
- 2:47:55not is going to lose hands down every sport.
- 2:47:58Anything a female does in a man's world.
- 2:48:02Even if she tries to pretend to look like a female and and and
- 2:48:06gender swaps or whatever they're doing these days and calls
- 2:48:09herself he, she's still going to lose.
- 2:48:11She would have she she's going to lose.
- 2:48:14She's not going to win in a man's world.
- 2:48:15She's not going to win male filmmaker of the world of the of
- 2:48:19the year. Do you know what I mean?
- 2:48:21Like that's real. Gender's real.
- 2:48:25So I get mad. I sit there and I'm like, why do
- 2:48:28we have to live in this world? But I'm going along with it
- 2:48:31because I'm not going to be rude.
- 2:48:33But if I say this, if I say what I just said, which I've held
- 2:48:39inside till right now, I am the biggest asshole alive.
- 2:48:43Nobody else is going to say it. Nobody else is going to say, why
- 2:48:47did that man win female filmmaker award?
- 2:48:52Isn't that sad? Oh, I don't know.
- 2:48:55I, I just, it's a but we're living in the upside down.
- 2:49:00It it feels cathartic for me. I always to hear you, to hear
- 2:49:04you say that this and what not. I mean, yeah.
- 2:49:11That's because it's so foreign to us because we're fed that
- 2:49:13it's wrong to say what you think We're supposed to go along with
- 2:49:17everybody playing pretend. Oh, I'll play pretend with you.
- 2:49:21When it used to be a mental illness and they would be, you
- 2:49:24know, have to get therapy for it.
- 2:49:26Instead, the therapy is our words.
- 2:49:29You know, they're going to have to go to if if one of them, if
- 2:49:31one of the people that are so into the gender gender, you
- 2:49:35know, neutral swapping he she it all of it.
- 2:49:38They would be triggered by this the truth reality that I'm
- 2:49:44playing pretend in your world, but in my world, I know that
- 2:49:48you're really not AI know you're not a dude and I know you're not
- 2:49:53a woman. Like I my brain knows it.
- 2:49:56A little baby knows it. A little kid would notice it,
- 2:50:00but I'm supposed to play pretend and say congratulations for
- 2:50:04winning. Female filmmaker, female.
- 2:50:08You were born a female. You have a vagina.
- 2:50:12I'm so happy. But no, you have a penis and
- 2:50:15you're a big giant dude that can carry a camera around and toss
- 2:50:19it around and do things better because men are stronger than
- 2:50:23women. They just are.
- 2:50:26It it, it's just, and I'm not I I'm fine with that.
- 2:50:29I'm fine that I'm fine with that.
- 2:50:32Doesn't, you know, I know some women can be smarter than men,
- 2:50:36but I think we're different, you know what I mean?
- 2:50:39Yeah. Yeah, completely, completely.
- 2:50:44All right, I better let you go 'cause I I said you could
- 2:50:48probably erase all that at the end about the female filmmaker,
- 2:50:52but. No, no.
- 2:50:53It's you just made me think of. It it's, well, I mean, I, I
- 2:50:59listen, I'm not going to edit anything out unless you want me
- 2:51:03to. But I don't think this person
- 2:51:06will ever hear it. And I, I, I don't think this
- 2:51:09person will ever hear it. And if they do, maybe they're
- 2:51:11supposed to hear it. I don't know.
- 2:51:15Maybe they'll hate me forever. And I don't want, I love them.
- 2:51:18I love people. Do you know what I mean?
- 2:51:20I don't, I don't hate anyone, but I, I want to be able to
- 2:51:24think those thoughts. I just said because that's,
- 2:51:27that's what I think. I don't want someone to hate me
- 2:51:29for what I think. Even the the, the, the, the
- 2:51:34female that turned male tranny friend of mine or whatever
- 2:51:37they're called, the gender, you know, switching genders.
- 2:51:41They, they appreciated what I had to say, the honesty I had to
- 2:51:45say. And you know what they said?
- 2:51:46I will be upfront with who I date.
- 2:51:49I think you're right. I never thought of it that way.
- 2:51:51So maybe we just need to help each other out a little bit.
- 2:51:55Maybe maybe my friend will listen to this and be like, I
- 2:51:59never thought of it that way. I guess that does hurt real
- 2:52:02females. They're physically not as strong
- 2:52:05or, you know, don't win a lot of things because women don't get
- 2:52:10it. That's a real thing.
- 2:52:11Heff used to say that that women didn't get a fair shot at at
- 2:52:15business the way men did. He's been in rooms where women
- 2:52:19are silenced. And I think Trump was the same
- 2:52:22way. And it's like, no, listen to
- 2:52:23what the woman has to say. And you know what I mean?
- 2:52:27Anyway, so that's my thoughts. Well, we, we've certainly
- 2:52:35covered a lot of ground. I think, I think we've just
- 2:52:40about burnt every sacred cow there is, you know, to the
- 2:52:44ground. And I I enjoyed it.
- 2:52:49Will probably be a three-part podcast.
- 2:52:51You're you'll have to do this in a three parts.
- 2:52:55No, I, I listen. I I come from the Joe Rogan
- 2:52:58School of three hour podcast, so you know.
- 2:53:04The whole thing. This is the longest I've ever
- 2:53:06been on a podcast. The whole thing will go up and
- 2:53:12you know, I, I'm sure people will listen to in segments, but
- 2:53:16you know, I, I think they'll enjoy.
- 2:53:19I know I certainly did. I did.
- 2:53:23Thank you. I I really appreciate you coming
- 2:53:27on Karina and I'd love to have you back and I really hope you
- 2:53:34don't get cancelled, but if you do.
- 2:53:38We'll I'll just blame you. It's OK.
- 2:53:41You know what's funny? I I don't mind.
- 2:53:43I don't, I don't mind. I'm already cancelled so.
- 2:53:47Yeah, well, you know, I, I have your back and you know, you have
- 2:53:53my contact info, so feel free to call, text me whatever, anytime
- 2:53:59so. Thank you my.
- 2:54:01Friend. For thanks to the folks for
- 2:54:03listening and I'll see you for the live show on Wednesday,
- 2:54:08which I'm sure will be a lot more low key than this.
- 2:54:11But until then, God bless God, freedom Oxi in order and God
- 2:54:17save this great nation. Thank you.
- 2:54:19Yes.
