- 0:00Speaker 1: Today, we're talking about five ways to guarantee you will fail as a youth pastor.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Welcome back to another episode of the Ministry Coach Podcast, where we give you weekly tips and tactics to help you fast-track the growth and health of your youth ministry.
- 0:25Speaker 2: My name is Jeff Laskola and this is.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Kristen Laskola, and today we're talking all about how to guarantee you're going to fail.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Because I know a lot of you are looking for that, Like how can I just end this now?
- 0:40Speaker 1: I hope not, but it might feel that way and we want you to succeed, we want you to do amazing things for the kingdom of God and we want you to really step into your calling.
- 0:51Speaker 1: So we're going to tell you the dark side, how to guarantee you'll fail.
- 0:56Speaker 1: So if you're doing so avoid these things.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Yes, if you're doing any of these things, cease and desist right now.
- 1:03Speaker 1: There is still time to turn back, yeah.
- 1:05Speaker 1: So number one let's jump right in is that you run a youth group with no consistency.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Consistency is, I believe, just my opinion what builds momentum.
- 1:18Speaker 1: People need to know when you're going to be there, what time you're going to be there, and the fact that you are going to be there, what time you're going to be there and the fact that you are going to be there, save for a few special occasions such as Christmas.
- 1:32Speaker 1: That counts as special occasion Really.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Aside from that, you should be there, be consistent.
- 1:38Speaker 1: That's what's going to build your momentum.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So if there's no real schedule, no real predictability momentum.
- 1:49Speaker 1: So if there's no real schedule, no real predictability and here's a pet peeve of just organizations in general, whether it be churches or clubs or sports, that you have to be deep on the inside to know what's going on, I hate that feeling of you miss one program and that's when they told you we're not meeting for two weeks and then the next week we're going to go to the bowling alley.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's like how would I have possibly known that, not even which bowling alley, yeah, like the more inside you have to be to know what's going on.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I think then you're really creating just a small friend group.
- 2:23Speaker 1: You're not creating accessibility for people who might want to be a visitor.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Come and check it out, bring a friend.
- 2:31Speaker 1: If you have to be so deep in there to know what's going on, that just is going to kill your growth, it's going to kill your momentum.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Here's what you really want.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Is you want to meet all the time so that kids are always talking about it at school?
- 2:45Speaker 1: I have a great example of that Just this past Tuesday.
- 2:49Speaker 1: This mom came in.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I got a call on our little.
- 2:52Speaker 1: We wear radios so we can always like someone's looking for you, or we need help in the bathroom.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Some kid is bleeding or barfing or whatever, and all of those things happen regularly.
- 3:04Speaker 1: This mom wanted to talk to me and so I go up to the lobby and I'm like hi, I'm Kristen.
- 3:09Speaker 1: And she's like oh hey, my daughter's been coming for a couple of weeks now and I just wanted to come in because I thought, you know, I should kind of meet an adult who and I'm like I'm so glad you did and I don't I.
- 3:21Speaker 1: It shocks me that more parents don't.
- 3:23Speaker 1: They'll just drop their kid off at youth group and never meet us.
- 3:26Speaker 2: And I'm like okay, thank you for trusting us.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I'm glad we've earned that reputation of trust.
- 3:31Speaker 1: But she said I said well, so why did your daughter end up coming?
- 3:36Speaker 1: Because I didn't know them.
- 3:37Speaker 1: They don't go to our church.
- 3:38Speaker 1: This was a Tuesday night.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And she said, well, all the kids are always talking about it at school.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And she was like what is this?
- 3:46Speaker 1: I want to go.
- 3:47Speaker 1: All my friends, everyone's always talking about it.
- 3:49Speaker 1: And I bring that up because when you have consistency so my youth group is on a Tuesday, Wednesday kids are like, oh, did you see what happened last night?
- 4:02Speaker 1: Or oh, that was so funny last night.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Or oh, I didn't see.
- 4:04Speaker 2: You know, when they're talking about it, cause that was the last time they seen each other on Monday.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Next time it's going to happen, I don't know, cause they may not meet next week.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you want to be.
- 4:10Speaker 1: You want those kids to be able to say, oh, every Tuesday just show up, right, Not like?
- 4:14Speaker 1: Well, hold on, like, go on the website, cause I think we're not meeting for the next three weeks.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't, sometimes it's the first and third unless it's an off week, and then if we have fifth quarter, if there's a football game, then we it's just like oh my gosh.
- 4:27Speaker 1: So you want this to be conducive to visitors.
- 4:31Speaker 1: The same way, like Tuesday at school, they should be talking about I'll see you tonight.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'll see you tonight Monday.
- 4:37Speaker 1: They should be saying I wonder what game we're playing at?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Chaos tomorrow night.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So you want people talking about it regularly.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Every single week there's another fresh opportunity for you to go.
- 4:47Speaker 1: You know kids will be disappointed that they didn't make it like, oh, I had volleyball tryouts, I couldn't come.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I was like, well, we're always here.
- 4:54Speaker 1: So, see you next week.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You know there's, it's not like.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I missed it.
- 4:59Speaker 1: And you know what I've really noticed with people unless you are a part of their schedule consistently, they will write you out of that schedule.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Exactly they really will.
- 5:10Speaker 1: They'll fill that slot with something else.
- 5:12Speaker 1: They'll kind of you'll kind of be a vague memory of what once was.
- 5:17Speaker 2: But if you're the thing, then other things get pushed out.
- 5:20Speaker 1: And you're, Jeff, you're exactly right, one for Jeff, wow One Because I have heard even the coaches in our community will plan their games and practices around our Tuesday night youth group because that's where the kids want to be.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I will hear parents say, hey, we were going to sign up for this, but every practice was on Tuesday.
- 5:42Speaker 1: So we're looking for something else because he'd be so disappointed if he couldn't come.
- 5:46Speaker 1: So if you are constantly this buzz in, I mean and luckily I were in a smaller town, so I think the buzz is maybe easier to come by but you want people talking about it again, that doesn't happen If you meet the first and fourth Friday of every other month or something weird, and that you're forcing people to be on the inside to know not going to work.
- 6:10Speaker 1: All right, that's number one.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Number two, how to guarantee you'll fail as a youth pastor, is that you lack communication skills, and I don't just mean up in front, skills like delivering a message, you know.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Try to sharpen those.
- 6:24Speaker 1: We've had lots of episodes on that.
- 6:25Speaker 1: But kind of bringing full circle what we were just talking about Maybe you're meeting but nobody knows about it because you don't communicate and nobody knows what time and where.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You've changed it and nobody knows what's going on and and they would love to attend your events.
- 6:42Speaker 1: But you launch signups three days before an event it's Tuesday and you're like oh, by the way, on Friday we're having a lock in or oh my gosh, wait, next week is you know some event and you're like, ah, here, here's a permission slip.
- 6:56Speaker 1: If you don't have communication skills, nobody is going to be able to join you and what you want to do.
- 7:03Speaker 1: So, if we've talked about this before as well, if you're in a position where people have to pull information instead of you pushing information to them, you're already behind.
- 7:16Speaker 1: So if somebody like I kind of cringe sometimes when I get a text or an email or some communication from parents and they're like what time is the blah, blah, blah meeting?
- 7:26Speaker 1: Now, if they just didn't read their email, I'm like that's on you, I'm happy to help.
- 7:31Speaker 1: But if I get a question like that and I'm like gosh, darn it, it's because I didn't tell them and now they have to go pull out information.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Well, where is drop off and what do they need to bring and are they supposed to pack money and where's the packing list?
- 7:45Speaker 1: Like stuff like that.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Parents have so many like balls in the air that they're juggling, and if we can make it like don't underestimate how parent-friendlier ministry has to be, because they're the gatekeepers.
- 8:00Speaker 1: So if you're consistently late or consistently, you know now we're kind of going into another episode.
- 8:08Speaker 1: But all that to say, communication is key to the success of your youth ministry, especially communication with parents.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Students yes, they don't listen half the time, anyways, they don't check their email.
- 8:22Speaker 1: So you really need to get to the parent to make sure those kids are still under the roof of their parents.
- 8:32Speaker 1: So, even if they drive, I mean, parents are still a key component to getting kids where they need to be.
- 8:38Speaker 1: You know, wait, did you fill out your permission?
- 8:41Speaker 1: No, you didn't.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I need to fill out your permission slip.
- 8:43Speaker 1: So don't leave parents out of that.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Number three how to guarantee you will fail in youth ministry.
- 8:51Speaker 1: To guarantee you will fail in youth ministry is there is no opportunity, or very little opportunity in your ministry for personal, community and connection.
- 9:00Speaker 1: People stay and put roots in a place because of people, not program.
- 9:06Speaker 1: So you can run a great program, but if nobody has the opportunity to meet anybody else and it's just kind of a show up and leave situation, your youth ministry could potentially fail because people are looking to connect with other people.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I try to harp that on my students all the time of like guys, I could knock the message out of the park.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I could give the best message I've ever given, still waiting to see what that is, because I have no idea.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I could stuff them full of candy and pizza.
- 9:35Speaker 1: We could play the funnest game ever.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I could make them laugh with the funniest videos.
- 9:40Speaker 1: We could have lights and hazers during worship, in a moment where everyone feels it.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I said but if they leave and they've made zero connection, they might not come back.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Maybe they'll come back again and hoping cross their fingers that they'll meet a friend.
- 9:58Speaker 1: They might even try a third time, but over time if they're not making personal connections and have no opportunity for that, they're going to leave.
- 10:06Speaker 1: And in my ministry the best vehicle for that is our small group ministry where every kid is put in a small group.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Another great avenue for that is a student discipleship or student leadership team, because then you take the group and you kind of put it down to size and they're getting to know each other and work together and serve together and they're making connection.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Adults pouring into kids is a big deal.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Again, that happens through small groups for the most part, but we need to know that relationships are priority number one.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I've heard once, not once, I've heard 1000 times in ministry over the last 20 years relationship is the bridge that truth travels over.
- 10:51Speaker 1: And that is probably the first lesson of youth ministry I ever learned, other than they don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I heard that one probably a million times too.
- 11:00Speaker 1: But relationship is the bridge that truth travels over, meaning that people's ears open up and they can digest truth and grapple with these truths that we're trying to get them to understand when it's done in the context of relationship.
- 11:16Speaker 1: There's just an openness when you belong and then you can hear.
- 11:20Speaker 1: And so if you don't create any, if small groups aren't important to you, if student leadership isn't important to you and you're just herding kids in, herding kids out and hoping they'll come back next week, no connection are being made.
- 11:32Speaker 1: That back door at your church and at your youth group is probably wide open.
- 11:36Speaker 1: They're coming in and just filing right out the back.
- 11:39Speaker 1: So we really want to try to close that back door and make it an environment where people stay, and relationships really are the best vehicle to do that.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And so make sure there's opportunities for connections.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Relationships are really part of that secret sauce that makes youth groups and churches grow.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Are people having fun together, people in relationship?
- 12:01Speaker 1: Are people connecting?
- 12:02Speaker 1: Are people doing life together?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Where is that happening?
- 12:05Speaker 1: Can you point to that?
- 12:07Speaker 1: And are those pockets healthy as well?
- 12:11Speaker 1: That's that secret sauce of like they want to come because they want to see each other.
- 12:15Speaker 1: People want people.
- 12:17Speaker 1: You know, all right, you will fail as a youth pastor if you have no organization, that you cannot organize a thing to save your life.
- 12:24Speaker 1: This is hard for a lot of people.
- 12:27Speaker 1: We've talked about it before, where a lot of youth pastors they are the relational guru and they're like I got relationships down.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I'm the Pied Piper, I'm Mr Charismatic, mrs Magnetic, and it's easy, breezy, but working with them is a complete disaster.
- 12:45Speaker 1: They can't keep a team.
- 12:46Speaker 1: They burn bridges everywhere they go because people are consistently frustrated with them because nobody knows the plan, nobody knows what we're doing, there's no resources for said plan and everyone's always confused and flying by the seat of their pants.
- 13:03Speaker 1: We've talked about before how people can put up with that once in a while, like, oh shoot, we had to pivot all hands on deck.
- 13:11Speaker 1: It's going to be crazy.
- 13:12Speaker 1: When we were at my summer camp this year, we had a monsoon come out of nowhere.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And if you would have asked me, what are the top 100 things you're going to have to deal with at this camp.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Monsoon would not have made my list.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I wasn't prepared for a rainstorm and it dumped on us.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Now it sounds kind of fun, until you realize everything's outdoors.
- 13:33Speaker 1: We have no cabins.
- 13:34Speaker 1: We have no tents.
- 13:35Speaker 1: We sleep under the stars, we rough it.
- 13:38Speaker 1: It's beautiful, but that means sleeping bags, pillows, sleeping mats, luggage clothes are soaked.
- 13:45Speaker 1: What do we do?
- 13:46Speaker 1: So that was a plan I was not ready for.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I will be in the future, but I was not this year, because that's never happened before.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So that's one of those things where leaders aren't looking at me like well, way to go, leader.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Just everything's getting soaked.
- 14:03Speaker 1: They realize this is a fluke.
- 14:05Speaker 1: This is weird.
- 14:06Speaker 1: All hands on deck, let's get this kid.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Let's lay out their sleeping bags.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Okay, I have a blanket in my car that this kid can use and we can hustle.
- 14:13Speaker 1: But if it was every day, it's like, oh no, another crisis.
- 14:17Speaker 1: We're all going to have to solve together.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Eventually, they're going to lose respect for me and be like do you ever have a plan?
- 14:24Speaker 1: Are you ever prepared?
- 14:26Speaker 1: Is anything ever simple and flows?
- 14:29Speaker 1: You want people to just get in that flow of your leadership and be like yes, like things are working, I know exactly what to do.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I have exactly what I need.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I knew well in advance, I'm prepared.
- 14:41Speaker 1: People should be able to follow you very, very easily, and don't make it hard for them to rally around you.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Make it very easy.
- 14:49Speaker 1: So organization is a big one, whatever it takes.
- 14:50Speaker 1: So organization is a big one, whatever it takes.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Here's me begging you.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Whatever it takes for you to learn organizational habits, please commit to it.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Do not hide behind the excuse anymore that I am not organizationally minded.
- 15:07Speaker 1: That could be very true.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I promise you it's a skill that you can learn if you're determined.
- 15:15Speaker 2: And there's a lot of different ways to be organized?
- 15:20Speaker 1: Yes, there are when everyone fits you Exactly.
- 15:22Speaker 2: You might be the most unorganized person, but if you can find that thing that you're syncing with, it works.
- 15:26Speaker 2: And it might not work with somebody else, but it's organization and it can work for you.
- 15:30Speaker 1: And if you can't do it for yourself, do it for the love of your ministry and the love of the people you serve, because it is, I believe, a stewardship issue of your leadership.
- 15:41Speaker 1: And unless you're the senior pastor of a 50,000 person church and you just need like four admins to get your job done, fine, but most of us you're it.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 15:54Speaker 1: You are your admin, so all right.
- 15:57Speaker 1: And number five do not neglect your team or you will fail in youth ministry Again.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Going back to how important relationships are Define team, whoever is working alongside you, which I guess goes with the prerequisite.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Another way to fail in youth ministry is trying to do everything yourself.
- 16:14Speaker 1: So by a team, I mean volunteers, your small group leaders, interns, staff, whoever is running alongside of you.
- 16:22Speaker 1: If you neglect the health of that team whether it's training, whether it's relationships, whether it's pastoral care, whether it's support, it's pastoral care, whether it's support the floor will fall out from under you very, very quickly.
- 16:37Speaker 1: You know, my goal as a youth pastor is to create a dynamic leader culture that people want to be a part of, that they're not begrudgingly showing up and that they're trained, they're equipped, they're loved, they're cared for and gosh darn it they're having fun.
- 16:59Speaker 1: And I think that is what I've heard over and over again from my leaders.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I'm like why do you guys keep coming?
- 17:06Speaker 1: And they're like we love it, it's fun.
- 17:08Speaker 1: It's fun to serve here.
- 17:10Speaker 1: It's easy to serve here.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Are junior hires easy?
- 17:14Speaker 1: No, and we all know that.
- 17:16Speaker 1: But serving like it's like I put the ball on the tee and I'm like you just got to, like you have everything you need and I'm right here cheering you on.
- 17:28Speaker 1: You can do this, but if you neglect your team or are not supporting them in terms of like, going back to like, the preparation and stuff like that, or again going back to relationships, you're not creating an environment where they can connect with you or each other and they're sort of this siloed, lonely leader.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Those people burn out so fast.
- 17:48Speaker 1: You can spot them a mile away.
- 17:50Speaker 1: That leader that's like one of these things is not like the other and I'm just sort of here and I'm not connected to anyone.
- 17:58Speaker 1: They fizzle.
- 17:59Speaker 1: People stay because of people, whether we're talking about students or adults.
- 18:04Speaker 1: You know you are relationship architect.
- 18:07Speaker 1: That's how I see myself is like looking at people and reading the room and what do we need and how can I get us connected?
- 18:15Speaker 1: That is huge for the longevity of your youth ministry.
- 18:19Speaker 1: What is fun to your team?
- 18:22Speaker 1: Try to define that, because fun to my team might be different than fun to your team.
- 18:27Speaker 1: What you guys enjoy doing together.
- 18:29Speaker 1: But you need to make this a place where leaders just flock to and if not, you know the youth ministry will fail because you are not enough to run the whole thing.
- 18:42Speaker 1: You can't do it all.
- 18:43Speaker 1: You can't know and love and pour into and disciple every student and run everything and teach everything and plan everything and communicate everything Like you need a team around you and if you want to keep that team, you have to steward them well and care for them as well yeah, and you can't be that only person, because when you can't do it, because you're either sick, vacation, whatever, then everything stops too well, if you try to do it, you will be sick and you will need a vacation, it will be a vicious cycle.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Yeah, if you try to do it, you will be sick and you will need a vacation.
- 19:10Speaker 1: It will be a vicious cycle.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Yeah, if you guys are thinking, what team?
- 19:14Speaker 2: I don't have a team, I need to get some volunteers.
- 19:17Speaker 2: We have an episode we've done about how to recruit the right volunteers for your youth ministry.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Make sure you check it out.
- 19:21Speaker 2: And also we have an episode about how to onboard new leaders, new volunteers, to kind of get them acclimated into your team.
- 19:28Speaker 2: So make sure you guys check that out.
- 19:30Speaker 2: All right?
- 19:36Speaker 1: right, let's do a question of the day, and I'm going to clear my throat here for a second and that probably didn't help.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Question of the day you sound great, thank you.
- 19:40Speaker 2: The question of the day is what is the longest you've ever waited in line for something?
- 19:45Speaker 2: And I think we probably have the same answer on this yeah, I can only think of one one time.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Oh, it was at least recently so we saved, we went to disneyland, california adventure and we're waiting in line for radiator springs, the cars ride, which is super fun, so so fun and it broke down while, like we had already been waiting for about like half hour, 40 minutes and then it broke down the first time and we were debating do we stay, do we go?
- 20:15Speaker 2: this is the last thing we were gonna do.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Yes, it was late already and we were like all right, this is the last we saved this for the end and then the line started moving.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe okay yay, broke down again.
- 20:28Speaker 1: We're like, oh my gosh at like an hour yes, and, and it's like we've already made it this far, so I guess we've got to stay.
- 20:34Speaker 1: So then finally started moving in.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Then it broke down again, I think it broke down three or four times, three or four.
- 20:40Speaker 2: But every time you have that conversation with each other and in your head if I get out of line now, I've wasted an hour and a half of my day or whatever it is, and the kids would be disappointed.
- 20:52Speaker 2: You know, and you think we could have done so many different things, but instead we just get out of line.
- 20:56Speaker 2: So you think I'll just, if I just wait just a little bit longer, it'll it'll go through and eventually it did.
- 21:02Speaker 1: It did.
- 21:02Speaker 1: But when you said kids, it reminded me where the line is.
- 21:06Speaker 1: There's no wi-fi, like it's a wi-fi dead zone, so you can't even give them your phone and say like running out of games and things to play and like how many I spies and like, oh my gosh, it was like we finally made it on and okay.
- 21:21Speaker 1: So how long was it like?
- 21:23Speaker 2: at least two hours.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe two hours or so, two and I mean, I remember back in the day going to six flags magic mountain.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Actually, now that we're talking about it, I think I waited like three hours for x when it came out.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I forgot about that and the worst part, I went on x after three hours.
- 21:43Speaker 1: It was the first ride of the day I got, so I was only like 18 and I got vertigo so bad that I couldn't write anything else for the rest of the day.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I was dizzy from that point on.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I was like cool, I waited three hours to get vertigo and now I watch all my friends go on the rides, and then I had to drive home and they all fell asleep.
- 22:03Speaker 2: And I'm like I hate my life.
- 22:04Speaker 2: There's that.
- 22:05Speaker 2: There's that sinking feeling too, when you finally do get on a ride after a long, long time and it's great, it's fun, and then you're like that was literally 50 seconds I know, was it worth it why?
- 22:16Speaker 2: Was I waiting that long for that?
- 22:18Speaker 1: what's the?
- 22:18Speaker 2: longest you've ever waited in line for something.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I know there's got to be some sporting events, concert tickets or something someone probably has, like some extreme seven days in a row or something maybe like a a Star Wars fan.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I could see them being like.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I was camped out on the sidewalk for two days.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Zach working over at the Youth Ministry Booster podcast.
- 22:38Speaker 2: He I know has some stories about waiting in line for Duke tickets because he went to Duke for his graduate undergraduate something Wow, I didn't know that.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Share it, zach.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Come on comment by will.
- 22:52Speaker 2: All right, we're going to do a community comment of the day.
- 22:54Speaker 2: This comes from steven cads 688, who says may god bless you so much.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Brethrens, I'm really thankful to the holy spirit for directing me to this podcast.
- 23:04Speaker 1: That's two episodes in a row I was gonna say that I think the Holy Spirit is more powerful than the algorithm.
- 23:11Speaker 1: But, like isn't that crazy.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Like God knows what we need and sends us.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I found a YouTube channel recently that I'm like hello, this was like to a T designed for me, you know.
- 23:24Speaker 1: And it's like God, just like, leads us to the right places of like speaking through voices that we need to hear.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I love it.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I'm going to say it's probably the algorithm through voices that we need to hear.
- 23:31Speaker 1: I love it.
- 23:31Speaker 2: I'm going to say it's probably the algorithm that keeps on pushing me towards WWE, like stuff.
- 23:36Speaker 2: I don't know, I've never been a big wrestling fan but now, all of a sudden, it's all over my feed.
- 23:41Speaker 1: It's a whole side of you I never knew.
- 23:43Speaker 1: I never knew it either, but there it is.
- 23:44Speaker 1: So, anyways, hey, thank you guys, so much for watching and listening and we'll see you next time.
