- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I really you just read the text, didn't you?
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Yes from Kanisha.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Yes, it's so good.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: I was just joking.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: We we we we've moved from so you were asking uh that this started with does anyone really watch the TikTok lives?
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: I said, I think the way that it works is one of two things.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: Either you stumble across it, it's not really appointment watching, you know?
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: It's not like, oh, I'm gonna watch tonight that murder documentary that just dropped on Netflix.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: You know that's your appointment watching.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: The TikTok lives are kind of what was that?
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: I was doing gonna point it out.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Did you hear that weirdness?
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, Helly Belly coming to that.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: As far as the TikTok lives, I just sweep past them so fast.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, you because I I don't I don't ever believe it.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: It it always is somebody's reading my palm or it's a tumbler with glitter and they're making them.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: So then I have to watch the whole process.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: I'm like, hurry up.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: Let's get to it.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Well, and then I said the other thing that happens is uh, and Tiffany for a while watched uh this lady on Whatnot, and she was hawking stuff off the Target OneSpot palette that she bought, you know, which I mean it's some of it has been useful to give away.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: And Scott coming in hot.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: I'm not kidding, to give away.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and Scott coming in hot.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Does anybody actually use anything from the one spot they bought?
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: But that's my point, because it is the most disposable garbage I've ever seen.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: But it's so cute.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: And thank you, Tanisha.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: She goes, you don't need to sit next to me, but I bought something yesterday and I've used it yesterday and today, so every day.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: All right, technically you are correct.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: She already has tickets.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Check back with me in six months, see how that's working out for you.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: I also said I have just way too much stuff for this future wedding.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: This was in my single single days.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Like when I was single for years.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: And ain't it funny how wedding stuff jumps out at you when you're single?
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: Because right now, if you go into the one spot, three shelves are completely barren except for the two ghost candles that are two inches tall that sit there still.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Are they barren because they haven't stocked them or people are?
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: No, no, sometimes we go through and they're very barren.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Other times we go in and you're like, Yes, I I I don't know their timing.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: I need that snapware.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: Here's one.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: Allie, I have Allie, I have some Daisy Mason jar tops I bought for my future wedding about 25 years ago.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: Still not married.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: See?
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I don't think that made you feel any better.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: No, not at all.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Now, listen, I don't need Tiffany getting.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, wait, one more, one more.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: Please go ahead.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: Um, I stumbled across a twin tier live of a lady trying on wigs, and I couldn't stop myself from watching.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Okay, you might sucker me in on that one.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's the purple one?
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: And even Tiffany gets on me.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: She goes, That's why I don't take Scott anywhere with me.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: He complains about it all the time.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: This is true.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: This is not a complaint, guys.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: I have I have a Schween.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: You don't.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: I don't understand the love of the ones.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: I don't.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: For me, I'm I'm more mission-oriented on a shopping trip.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Although I've trained myself in home goods to actually absorb it and I always Or to sit in the back with all the furniture.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: No, you know where I always gravitate to?
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Where?
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Snacks.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: As that's the start.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: So this is where man versus woman, this is not complaining.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: And and understand, I'm not.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: I don't understand.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: That's the preface.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying I don't understand.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: I know I'm doing the Trump, you know, accordion thing.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: I'm not complaining.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: But I'm not complaining.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: But I'm going to complain.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: So here's the thing.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Uh in Target, I just don't get it.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Because I'm just like, to me, I look at all that stuff as garbage disposable crap.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: And to us, we look at it the little pleasures of life.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: I may have had I may have had a crap day.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Because somebody didn't show up for their shift and I had to cover their shift.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: You're explaining.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: And then I know.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: I know what I'm doing.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: But I'm understanding.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: And then, and then I I I go I smell, I smell the coffee that we've got going on in Starbucks.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: I have a question.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then I I walk past and I say, This little candle holder is gonna make it all better right now.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: For$2.99.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Uh it might break before I get to the car.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Question.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Is it passive aggressive that I've already decided to strike a pose near the box of individually wrapped potato chips at the end, the big display they have there at the end of the one spot, and I'm leaning on the cart just looking in the air as she's walking through the one spot.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: Is that passive aggressive?
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Just go sit on the patio furniture in the back.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: Okay, all right.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: I'll be back here.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: You come find me when you're ready.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: This is also why I just don't take I don't take my boyfriend to this stuff.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: No, I I please I wish Tiffany would stop taking you.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: She has, uh, for the most part.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: It's not, I'm just trying to understand.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: You don't need to understand.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: You just need to sit there.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: I don't need to understand.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: You just need to understand.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: I just need to sit there and be quiet.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Sit on the patio furniture and and scroll through your phone.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: Well, that really didn't help me at all.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: I don't need you to understand.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: I just need you to let me be.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: By the way, really quick over to Home Goods, because I've trained myself with this one.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: As she walks in, and every woman will appreciate this, as she walks in and instantly to the right into all the seasonal right now, loaded with Halloween and Harry Potter Halloween.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: That's all it is.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: Halloween and Harry Potter Halloween.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: They know their niche.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: I am three aisles in already in the snack aisle.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: And then I find myself spending most of my time in the cookware, like the pots and pans and the glasses.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: She at that point has now moved further back towards the back of the store.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Dogs.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: And uh, and then and then I have this wander through home goods, and I have to look up and down every aisle.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: Is she at the dog treats yet or not?
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: This is the pattern, guys.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: This is the pattern.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: It does get to a point where once I get to sheets, I've lost interest as well.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: Unless I really need sheets.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: How often do you really need those, right?
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: Not that often, yeah.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Right.
