- 0:02Speaker 1: This weekend.
- 0:03Speaker 2: I had made my very first turkey and I had
- 0:06Speaker 2: already talked to my mom about it, so I couldn't
- 0:08Speaker 2: really participate in this part of the challenge because she
- 0:12Speaker 2: had already given me the instructions. All right, but Angie
- 0:15Speaker 2: did participate, and this is wonderful. If you could do
- 0:18Speaker 2: this for us this morning, Will you text your mother
- 0:22Speaker 2: and ask her how long does the turkey go in
- 0:25Speaker 2: the microwave? For and just share with us her response.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Yeah, we have this up on the big ninety eight
- 0:31Speaker 3: point seven page of the Facebook page, so drop the
- 0:36Speaker 3: screenshots in the comments.
- 0:38Speaker 4: What your mom responds when you ask how long.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Do you put the turkey in the microwave? I did
- 0:44Speaker 3: this to my mom and I said, Mommy, how long
- 0:47Speaker 3: does the turkey go in the microwave? And her response
- 0:51Speaker 3: it was in Spanish, but then I'll translate it for you. Okay,
- 0:53Speaker 3: she went, I'm mehu your known goco seen it BA
- 0:58Speaker 3: one and microwave, which translates to oh, honey, I never
- 1:05Speaker 3: made turkey in the microway.
- 1:08Speaker 2: She was so disappointment, disappointed, confused, right well, immediately followed
- 1:14Speaker 2: by a phone call right like, this didn't carry on
- 1:17Speaker 2: in text she called me and.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Was very confused.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Yeah, she probably wanted to make sure you didn't ask.
- 1:23Speaker 1: You to do this.
- 1:23Speaker 3: She said, I know your VEGANBA, that is not how
- 1:28Speaker 3: you cook a turkey.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Let us know it's seven oh one two eight zero
- 1:32Speaker 2: one nine eight seven what your mom says if you
- 1:34Speaker 2: send that text here this morning, I made my first
- 1:37Speaker 2: ever turkey this year. I've just been very lucky and
- 1:40Speaker 2: had my parents who my dad likes doing it, he
- 1:43Speaker 2: does it every year. And yea, I basically help like
- 1:46Speaker 2: peel potatoes. That's kind of my job at the Glitten Thanksgiving.
- 1:50Speaker 1: But I think we did alright, Angie. And for those
- 1:52Speaker 1: of you who might.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Be wondering speaking of turkey making and the friends giving
- 1:56Speaker 2: this weekend, Angie gave a passion thirty second pitch on
- 2:03Speaker 2: why she should be invited to the Glitten Friends Giving.
- 2:06Speaker 2: And part of that friends, part of that pitch, excuse me,
- 2:10Speaker 2: included fifteen dollars.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yeah, that she would give me and she would do
- 2:14Speaker 1: the dishes.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Now did I.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Do what don't you do on either of those angels?
- 2:19Speaker 4: Okay, why you gotta bring it up like that? Did
- 2:22Speaker 4: I give you fifteen dollars?
- 2:25Speaker 5: No?
- 2:25Speaker 4: I had a couple bucks. All right, I don't carry
- 2:28Speaker 4: cash like that. Now. Did I wash the dishes?
- 2:31Speaker 3: Absolutely not, And I know that I said that I would,
- 2:35Speaker 3: But to be fair, one of your guests at Friends,
- 2:39Speaker 3: giving Chelsea a delight, she was washing the dishes.
- 2:44Speaker 4: What was I gonna barrel in there and be like, no,
- 2:46Speaker 4: I want.
- 2:47Speaker 3: To wash the dishes. She seemed very content to be
- 2:51Speaker 3: washing them. And you guys had been washing dishes along
- 2:55Speaker 3: the way, Yeah, all day long.
- 2:56Speaker 4: So there weren't even that many.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:58Speaker 2: As we started making the food, I just asked, Hey,
- 3:02Speaker 2: is there any way we can all try to just
- 3:04Speaker 2: like wash a couple of dishes as we go to
- 3:05Speaker 2: make this not a nightmare at seven eight o'clock area. Yeah,
- 3:09Speaker 2: And so there was like four things to wash by
- 3:12Speaker 2: that point, exactly.
- 3:13Speaker 3: And the argument there might be exactly there were only
- 3:16Speaker 3: a few dishes, how come you didn't wash them? To
- 3:18Speaker 3: which I say, Gabe had been serving me high noons, no,
- 3:24Speaker 3: a couple of hours. Those dishes would have been dirty
- 3:28Speaker 3: because I wouldn't have even been able to see.
- 3:30Speaker 4: What I was washing.
- 3:32Speaker 3: And so I feel like the best choice was for
- 3:36Speaker 3: not me to wash them.
- 3:37Speaker 2: It's incredible how this got turned around on me. All
- 3:39Speaker 2: I did was buy them. Okay, I didn't shove Angie
- 3:42Speaker 2: into the garage, throw her arm in the box of
- 3:46Speaker 2: or what would be carton, I don't know.
- 3:48Speaker 1: And I didn't make you grab them on.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Just one thing I will do, gave you it's gaslight
- 3:53Speaker 3: You all right?
- 3:57Speaker 5: Celebrating life's little victories every morning we practice gratitude on
- 4:03Speaker 5: Big ninety eight point stef.
- 4:04Speaker 1: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 4:06Speaker 1: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 4:13Speaker 5: two and oho one ninety eight.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Kids, I also needed to win that day.
- 4:19Speaker 3: The obvious little victory for me, Gabe is that I
- 4:23Speaker 3: was invited while I invited myself to your friends giving,
- 4:28Speaker 3: and I had the best time.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Specifically, I'm gonna.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Head with the food is that I'm vegan, and I
- 4:35Speaker 3: know that that is annoying to have to cater to
- 4:38Speaker 3: a lot of dietary restrictions.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Let me tell you, no, I'm just kidding.
- 4:42Speaker 3: I'm just kidding, But I had so many options at
- 4:47Speaker 3: your house for friends Giving that I really stuffed myself
- 4:50Speaker 3: silly and it was fantastic. It works out that you've
- 4:53Speaker 3: got a buddy, Saysar, who is completely dairy free, which
- 4:57Speaker 3: lines up a lot of times with what vegans eat.
- 5:01Speaker 3: So there was this delicious Brussels sprouts dish that was
- 5:05Speaker 3: super good, creamed corn, mashed potatoes. I brought a macaroni
- 5:09Speaker 3: salad and I ate to my little heart's contend that's awesome, Thank.
- 5:14Speaker 4: You, I appreciate it. And then the vibes were just great.
- 5:17Speaker 3: You taught me two new card games, which I don't
- 5:20Speaker 3: believe in learning new games because my brain can't handle
- 5:24Speaker 3: it right. But it was Judgyfish and Wizard, and I
- 5:27Speaker 3: was turesh at Wizard. Mikey was holding down the floor
- 5:30Speaker 3: for us on that one. But I won our game
- 5:34Speaker 3: of Judgyfish, which was really exciting to me because I
- 5:37Speaker 3: had never played that game before all. And I'll just
- 5:39Speaker 3: the best time at friends giving at Gabe's house.
- 5:42Speaker 4: So thank you my friend.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Yeah, no problem, it did. That does work out really well.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I have a great friend. His name is Ian, we
- 5:48Speaker 2: call him, Saysar. Oh yeah, ah, he yeah. He's not
- 5:52Speaker 2: like dairy free by choice. He has like just reasons
- 5:55Speaker 2: he can't consume dairy. So it really worked out to
- 5:59Speaker 2: just like oh, okay, Well, if he can't have dairy, like,
- 6:02Speaker 2: let's just not put real butter in anything basically, So
- 6:06Speaker 2: it did work out. It was a good time. Yeah,
- 6:08Speaker 2: that's my Uh. I don't know if you can just
- 6:10Speaker 2: call it a little victory. I mean, that was a
- 6:11Speaker 2: lot of fun we had. I had a great time
- 6:13Speaker 2: hanging out with my friends. I made my first ever turkey,
- 6:16Speaker 2: and as far as I know, it was great. It
- 6:19Speaker 2: was solid. I did a good job. I mean, there's
- 6:21Speaker 2: maybe one thing I would redo, but otherwise it was.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Uh.
- 6:25Speaker 2: There was like two parts of some leg I didn't
- 6:28Speaker 2: get seasoned. I couldn't like get it to stick on there,
- 6:31Speaker 2: so I probably would have used.
- 6:32Speaker 1: A little more oil.
- 6:33Speaker 2: But even though that was the case, I'm the one
- 6:35Speaker 2: who ate him, so definitely thats obviously.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I didn't eat the turkey, but my boyfriend Mikey did,
- 6:41Speaker 3: and he had had a traumatic experience with turkey last
- 6:44Speaker 3: year at Thanksgiving where he said he would never eat
- 6:46Speaker 3: turkey again.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Yeah, he was obsessed with your turkey.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Hey, there we go.
- 6:51Speaker 3: He loved it so much and everybody around the table
- 6:54Speaker 3: was high praises for the turkey.
- 6:56Speaker 4: So you crushed it was your first Turkey.
- 6:57Speaker 1: First one I've ever done.
- 6:59Speaker 2: It was really nice because my I saw once again
- 7:01Speaker 2: Ian he's he's a pretty solid cook or he just
- 7:04Speaker 2: he worked.
- 7:04Speaker 1: He does it a lot.
- 7:05Speaker 2: He enjoys that that aspect of Thanksgiving, and so I did.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It's a guy.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I had some training wheels. Okay, if anything was gonna
- 7:13Speaker 2: go wildly wrong, my buddy Ian was there to have
- 7:15Speaker 2: my back.
- 7:16Speaker 1: But it was.
- 7:17Speaker 2: It was really cool, and it was just nice having
- 7:19Speaker 2: my friends up and obviously you a Mikey over, so
- 7:21Speaker 2: it was a great time.
- 7:22Speaker 1: And not to be outdone.
- 7:24Speaker 2: This would be the exact opposite is We got a
- 7:26Speaker 2: text from Melissa and if you ever have a little victory,
- 7:29Speaker 2: let us know about it. At seven oh one two
- 7:31Speaker 2: eight zero one nine eight seven, Melissa said, I'm glad
- 7:35Speaker 2: friends Giving was awesome at your house, Gabe. My house
- 7:38Speaker 2: could not have been more opposite, and I loved it.
- 7:40Speaker 2: So it sounds like Melissa had a very lazy weekend.
- 7:43Speaker 2: And there's nothing we better, we love better than a
- 7:45Speaker 2: lazy weekend. Here a big ninety eight point seven.
- 7:47Speaker 3: We live for a lazy weekend looking forward in the future.
- 7:58Speaker 2: In one of the wildest stories I have ever read
- 8:01Speaker 2: on the internet. There was a man who got divorce
- 8:04Speaker 2: from his wife after eighteen days because he's days days
- 8:09Speaker 2: eighteen days, yep, because he stumbled upon some topless photos
- 8:14Speaker 2: that she had sent her ex husband before their wedding.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Now, there is a little more to it.
- 8:21Speaker 2: He was going through the phone because they had to
- 8:23Speaker 2: get some stuff ready for custody battle of these kids.
- 8:27Speaker 1: There's a lot to it.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Long story short, turns out this guy's not a fan
- 8:32Speaker 2: of this lady sim sending topless photos to her ex wife.
- 8:34Speaker 4: All right again, Maybe she sent them in hopes that
- 8:37Speaker 4: he would give up costudy. I'm sorry.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Long story short, this went down a rabbit hole of
- 8:45Speaker 2: divorce in eighteen days. Now we are not divorce shamise
- 8:49Speaker 2: here on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 8:51Speaker 1: No hate, no, but I.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Love a divorce. I have one under my belt.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Yeah, So what if you're willing to share? Yeah seven
- 9:00Speaker 2: oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven. You
- 9:03Speaker 2: can either share like how quickly you got divorced and
- 9:06Speaker 2: see if we can beat this eighteen daymark?
- 9:08Speaker 1: Or why uh if you would like to. If not,
- 9:12Speaker 1: that's solely fine.
- 9:13Speaker 2: You could also remain anonymous, but you can call us
- 9:15Speaker 2: or just text us, if you're more comfortable doing that.
- 9:18Speaker 1: How quickly did you get divorced?
- 9:19Speaker 6: At?
- 9:20Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven?
- 9:23Speaker 2: Well, Angie, it looks like I have outlasted this guy.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Yeah. How long have you been married?
- 9:29Speaker 5: Now?
- 9:30Speaker 2: A little over two years, so two and a couple months,
- 9:34Speaker 2: So not like it, not like crazy long, But I
- 9:37Speaker 2: did outlast this guy.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Britney Spears. Oh that's right.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Britney Spears had been married for fifty five hours to
- 9:44Speaker 3: her childhood friend Jason Alexander.
- 9:45Speaker 4: I'll never forget it. Sorry. Kim Kardashian, she was married to.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Chris Humphries for seventy two days. Yeah, and so yeah,
- 9:54Speaker 3: you're bat in the thousand.
- 9:55Speaker 4: You're doing great, Charlie.
- 9:57Speaker 1: What's your divorce story? How quickly did you get divorce? Man?
- 10:00Speaker 1: If you're comfortable sharing.
- 10:02Speaker 6: I got married about seven years ago, and one year
- 10:05Speaker 6: later I caught her cheating on me with my neighbor
- 10:07Speaker 6: and that was the end of that immediate divorce.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fair. Yeah, and it's your neighbor. You gotta
- 10:13Speaker 2: see that guy.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Oh yeah, no, I would move out. That's the thing.
- 10:17Speaker 3: When it's infidelity, I feel like that makes sense for
- 10:20Speaker 3: there to be an immediate divorce.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and if you don't have especially if there's like
- 10:24Speaker 2: no kids involved, you can make that a clean easy
- 10:26Speaker 2: like yeah, get away, breakaway. Now, Angie, you have been
- 10:29Speaker 2: married before and now are not with that person.
- 10:33Speaker 1: What happened?
- 10:34Speaker 4: Oh? You know, we got together.
- 10:36Speaker 1: We got together when we.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Were really young.
- 10:38Speaker 3: I was twenty one and he was about to turn
- 10:41Speaker 3: twenty one. Yeah, and we got two great kids out
- 10:46Speaker 3: of it. But you know, you just grow up. I'm
- 10:49Speaker 3: not at all the person I was in my twenties
- 10:51Speaker 3: now that I'm inching towards forties.
- 10:55Speaker 4: So yeah, we just kind of grew apart. Thankfully.
- 10:57Speaker 3: It's all very amicable, and we just felt on the kids. Yeah,
- 11:01Speaker 3: but I made it what I was married for fourteen
- 11:04Speaker 3: years a long time.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, I mean that's pretty good. Amber. What about you?
- 11:09Speaker 6: We realized on our honeymoon that we just don't travel
- 11:12Speaker 6: the same. I wanted beach naps and he wanted six
- 11:15Speaker 6: am museum tours. By day three, we were eating breakfast
- 11:18Speaker 6: at separate tables. So we got home and we just
- 11:22Speaker 6: called it.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Well right after the honeymoon, Wow, wow, something smells a
- 11:29Speaker 2: foot here. Okay, how do we not know how we
- 11:32Speaker 2: traveled together and we're getting married.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Maybe the travel I bet you the honeymoon, was that
- 11:38Speaker 3: like a way farther away destiny?
- 11:41Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 11:41Speaker 2: Okay, because yeah, I was gonna say you never did
- 11:44Speaker 2: like a weekend trip somewhere.
- 11:46Speaker 3: I will say with Mikey, we've had several discussions about
- 11:51Speaker 3: what vacation in a tropical place looks like, and we
- 11:55Speaker 3: very much aligned with We're on the beach drinking right.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Do not try to take me like this one. Do
- 12:00Speaker 3: not try to take me on a museum tour, sir.
- 12:04Speaker 3: I don't like learning in my own country.
- 12:05Speaker 5: No.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 12:10Speaker 2: If you are willing to share or text us why
- 12:13Speaker 2: you got divorced so quickly this morning on Big ninety
- 12:16Speaker 2: eight point seven.
- 12:19Speaker 1: This is am I the problem.
- 12:22Speaker 4: It's me, Hi the problem.
- 12:26Speaker 3: It's me.
- 12:26Speaker 5: We'll hear one side of the story and with your
- 12:29Speaker 5: help decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 12:35Speaker 5: That's right, I am the problem on Big ninety eight
- 12:38Speaker 5: point seven.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I love the self awareness seven.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Oh one two eight a one nine eight seven.
- 12:44Speaker 3: If you want to chime in with your thoughts on
- 12:47Speaker 3: am I the problem. We've also got this posted to
- 12:50Speaker 3: the Big ninety eight point seven facebook page. Derek wrote
- 12:54Speaker 3: into us Gabe, Angie, I need your help on this.
- 12:58Speaker 3: My girlfriend's family is very close and they host a
- 13:01Speaker 3: lot of gatherings, especially during the holidays. Birthday dinners, weekend hangouts,
- 13:07Speaker 3: hanging with extended relatives, last minute get togethers.
- 13:10Speaker 4: All the things. It feels like there's something every weekend.
- 13:15Speaker 3: I've always got along with it since we started dating,
- 13:17Speaker 3: because I thought it was what a good partner does.
- 13:21Speaker 3: But this is year four and I'm exhausted. I'm an introvert.
- 13:26Speaker 3: I need downtime on the weekends, and I hate having
- 13:30Speaker 3: my schedule filled with her family stuff all the time.
- 13:33Speaker 3: I finally told my girlfriend that I don't want to
- 13:35Speaker 3: attend every family event anymore. The important ones I'll go to,
- 13:39Speaker 3: but I need more me and us time on the weekends.
- 13:43Speaker 3: She said she feels sad when I don't come, and
- 13:45Speaker 3: that it means a lot to her that I'm there.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Now.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I feel guilty every time a new event comes up
- 13:51Speaker 3: and I say I don't want to go, But at
- 13:53Speaker 3: the same time, the amount of family time is really
- 13:56Speaker 3: draining me, and honestly stressing me out?
- 13:59Speaker 4: Am I being a problem here?
- 14:03Speaker 3: I hate to say this, Derek, because you took the
- 14:05Speaker 3: time to reach out to us, But I think you
- 14:08Speaker 3: are the problem.
- 14:09Speaker 6: Wow?
- 14:10Speaker 1: Really?
- 14:11Speaker 3: Yes? The thing is he set the precedent, he went
- 14:14Speaker 3: along with it since they started dating and never said anything.
- 14:19Speaker 3: And now it's year four and he's finally saying something.
- 14:23Speaker 3: And cool, I guess for sticking up for yourself. But
- 14:26Speaker 3: I bet on her end she must be thinking that
- 14:29Speaker 3: there's something wrong, that it's deeper than what he's saying,
- 14:33Speaker 3: because why all of a sudden are you changing it?
- 14:37Speaker 3: And if it's four years in then I would be
- 14:39Speaker 3: the Is the spark leaving? Is he not trying to
- 14:42Speaker 3: spend more time with Why doesn't he? And I would
- 14:45Speaker 3: feel really awful if I were her. I think, if
- 14:48Speaker 3: this is for real, the real reason is just that
- 14:51Speaker 3: you're an introvert and it's draining real. You should have
- 14:55Speaker 3: said that years ago. It is crazy to me to
- 14:59Speaker 3: wait this long.
- 15:00Speaker 1: You think it's a little late in the game.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Yeah, too little, too late, sir.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Like you set the precedent, so now if you change it,
- 15:07Speaker 3: it definitely seems like you're losing interest. That's what I
- 15:11Speaker 3: would think if I were her, because why all of
- 15:13Speaker 3: a sudden right is what I'm sure it's happening in
- 15:16Speaker 3: her head. So, Derek, I think you're the problem for
- 15:19Speaker 3: waiting this long. Do I understand where you're coming from?
- 15:24Speaker 4: No, I'm an extrovert.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Is Derek in the right or wrong? Let us know?
- 15:33Speaker 2: You can text us calls this on Facebook. I'm going
- 15:35Speaker 2: to very quickly just go ahead and say, Derek, you're
- 15:37Speaker 2: not the problem, bro. I understand you know you don't
- 15:40Speaker 2: want to go to Wicked Night with the family on Saturday.
- 15:44Speaker 2: You want to sit at home naked in a bean
- 15:47Speaker 2: bag eating cheetos. Okay, I understand now wanting to go
- 15:50Speaker 2: to all of these things. So let us know what
- 15:52Speaker 2: you think this morning and see if we can help
- 15:54Speaker 2: out Derek. Here on Big ninety eight point seven, we.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Had Derek right in wondering if he's the problem for
- 16:05Speaker 3: not wanting to go to all of his girlfriend's family
- 16:09Speaker 3: gatherings now that it's the holidays. The one caveat is
- 16:15Speaker 3: he always went to all of them without complaining for
- 16:19Speaker 3: the last three years, but now on year four, he's
- 16:22Speaker 3: finally saying Okay, I'm an introvert. This is too much,
- 16:26Speaker 3: so he doesn't want to miss the major ones, but
- 16:28Speaker 3: he's trying to opt out of all the less significant ones.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Is he the problem here or is his girlfriend? I
- 16:35Speaker 3: think he's the problem because he waited too long to
- 16:38Speaker 3: say so. Yeah, you made your bed, lie in it.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I think there's kind of a middle ground here, Kim said,
- 16:45Speaker 2: if it's that much, I don't think it's unreasonable to
- 16:47Speaker 2: just go to the important ones holidays, birthdays, But it's
- 16:51Speaker 2: just if it's just because, then no, that's a lot.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Just because it's what she's used to doesn't mean you
- 16:58Speaker 2: are and that you have to go along with everything.
- 17:01Speaker 2: She should also notice and be more aware of your feelings,
- 17:04Speaker 2: not just hers and her family.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Well, there, Kim goes with logic.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Ashley does say that Derek's the problem. You're the problem.
- 17:15Speaker 2: This will be an issue every year. It's only around
- 17:17Speaker 2: the holidays. Family is important. Suck it up and keep going.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Me and Ashley weird twinsies.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Well, I think Ashley kind of missed a little part
- 17:24Speaker 2: of the story with how often they have to do this.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I mean this is almost every weekend throughout a year. Yeah,
- 17:31Speaker 2: who wants their weekend taken up by their in laws
- 17:34Speaker 2: every song.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Maybe maybe you shouldn't have been down for that for
- 17:40Speaker 3: the last three years. I think there is a middle
- 17:44Speaker 3: ground to be found, for sure. I just I don't
- 17:48Speaker 3: know where it is. I don't believe in middle grounds.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Finally we have Gabrielle. As she said, I don't think
- 17:55Speaker 2: he's the problem. My family's the same way, and my
- 17:57Speaker 2: husband is also very introverted. He goes to the gatherings
- 18:01Speaker 2: once in a while, but always the important ones.
- 18:03Speaker 1: That's right, Derek, You suck it up. You go to
- 18:05Speaker 1: Christmas and you suck it up.
- 18:06Speaker 2: You go to Thanksgiving and you know what, if they
- 18:09Speaker 2: are the most Irish family on earth, you better be
- 18:11Speaker 2: at that Saint Patrick's Day. But I think you could
- 18:14Speaker 2: miss out on Halloween, President's Day. July fourth, Okay, July four,
- 18:21Speaker 2: that's a data party with your friends, not go visit
- 18:24Speaker 2: your mother in law. Okay, fuck celebrating the birthday of
- 18:29Speaker 2: this country.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Gosh ding.
- 18:37Speaker 3: I revealed my hear me out celebrity crush to Gabe
- 18:42Speaker 3: and he's been disappointed in me ever since.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I don't know if it's like, no, yeah, that's exactly
- 18:48Speaker 2: the term yeah, wildly disappointed.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Well, we've been watching in my house.
- 18:53Speaker 3: It started being Christmas time November first, so obviously we've
- 18:56Speaker 3: been watching Home Alone a lot. And I gotta say
- 19:02Speaker 3: I have a big old crush on Joe PESHI hear
- 19:06Speaker 3: me out.
- 19:08Speaker 2: He's just doesn't even sound like the name of a
- 19:11Speaker 2: person hear me crush out.
- 19:13Speaker 3: No, he I get it. He's a short and bald
- 19:16Speaker 3: and angry looking. But I like that he's a man
- 19:20Speaker 3: who knows what he wants. He's assertive, he goes after it,
- 19:24Speaker 3: and his anger is not very threatening because he's very
- 19:27Speaker 3: short king, So I like it.
- 19:30Speaker 4: I like the vibe.
- 19:31Speaker 3: And then even if we just think about his other
- 19:34Speaker 3: roles in like Casino and Good Fellas, And there's just
- 19:38Speaker 3: something about Joe pesci And he dated Naomi Campbell once
- 19:44Speaker 3: upon a time in the nineties, so and she's supermodel obviously,
- 19:48Speaker 3: And if someone's super hot can be into him, then
- 19:51Speaker 3: so can a regular old broad like me.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I like the justification there.
- 19:55Speaker 4: Hey, well yeah that was my hear me out.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Yeah, full circle ball. But you're right.
- 20:00Speaker 2: You know what, I'll hear you out. You can have
- 20:02Speaker 2: a crush on whoever you want. I guess a celebrity
- 20:04Speaker 2: crush on whoever you want. But Joe, I mean that
- 20:07Speaker 2: that is a crazy answer to me.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Well, we put this on the big nineteen point seven
- 20:12Speaker 3: Facebook page, and I'm happy that I'm not the only
- 20:15Speaker 3: one with some questionable taste. This one really got me.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Miko Blue said by Steve Buscemi looks like a Scars.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Guard that just didn't take really good care of himself.
- 20:30Speaker 4: I can fix him, though.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Let's go, Meko.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Thank you so much for being uh, for being honest
- 20:35Speaker 2: with us.
- 20:36Speaker 3: That made me laugh so hard. She's like, but do
- 20:38Speaker 3: you see it? And I do see it, Alexander Scar's guard.
- 20:41Speaker 6: You do not.
- 20:42Speaker 1: You do not see that.
- 20:43Speaker 3: But Steve Buscemi does look like the neglected Scars guard
- 20:48Speaker 3: and I like that.
- 20:49Speaker 4: She said she.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Could fix him. He's like the fifth or the fourth
- 20:52Speaker 2: Jonas brother. He's like the fifth Scars guard. Yes, exactly,
- 20:56Speaker 2: fair enough, Stephanie said, mister Sam Elliott.
- 21:00Speaker 1: He does got a great mustache and.
- 21:02Speaker 4: A great voice. I don't have to hear you out
- 21:05Speaker 4: that hard on that one. Yeah.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Now, there were some people, I think who misunderstood the
- 21:09Speaker 2: assignment a little bit. Okay, we had Jane who said,
- 21:13Speaker 2: how do you say his last name?
- 21:14Speaker 1: Josh Josh Dummel. Yeah, he's like hot, right, he's like
- 21:18Speaker 1: super hot. Yeah, I don't know if that really You
- 21:20Speaker 1: don't need to hear anyone out there.
- 21:21Speaker 4: No, you just look at him and you know.
- 21:23Speaker 2: And we also had this is a great answer from Donna, Billy,
- 21:28Speaker 2: Bob Thornton, love him and Nick Cage.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Now those Okay, you need to explain to me a lot. Yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 1: I we will hear you out.
- 21:35Speaker 3: We need an essay double space, because why do you.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Want to know who I hear me out? Celebrity crush.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Okay, yes, that's what I was gonna ask you, because
- 21:44Speaker 3: I can't.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Be the only one. We can't be the only one
- 21:46Speaker 4: with a questionable who's yours?
- 21:48Speaker 2: I don't even know how to say this lady's last name,
- 21:50Speaker 2: but you know the mom in step brothers, Mary Steenberger,
- 21:54Speaker 2: Jery Stein Virgin.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Okay, I think it'd be her.
- 21:57Speaker 2: She's like seventy two, you were seventy three or something,
- 22:02Speaker 2: so realistically quite up there in my range, right range.
- 22:07Speaker 2: But she's a gorgeous lady. She's very pretty. She seems
- 22:11Speaker 2: so funny. She's been married to this one dude in
- 22:14Speaker 2: Hollywood for a billion years dancing.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Either A she's great at communication or loyal or something.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Maybe they have an open relate. I don't know, but
- 22:23Speaker 2: they have been married for so long. It's just so cute.
- 22:25Speaker 2: She seems like a doll.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I have heard you out, Gabe, and I approve.
- 22:33Speaker 5: I starting off the day with something good.
- 22:38Speaker 1: This is Gabe's good news.
- 22:40Speaker 5: On Big ninety eight point seven, This baby.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Named Leah recently left the hospital to go home for
- 22:49Speaker 2: the very first time in her life, just in time
- 22:52Speaker 2: for Thanksgiving. Born last May, Oh wow, Leah only weighed
- 22:58Speaker 2: one point three pounds and she's been under constant medical
- 23:01Speaker 2: care for the last eighteen months. Her mom, Stephanie, says
- 23:04Speaker 2: their family has been holding onto this moment for a
- 23:07Speaker 2: very long time and describes Leah as incredibly strong. Because
- 23:12Speaker 2: she was born so early, Leah faced a ton of
- 23:15Speaker 2: serious health challenges, including a heart condition, a brain bleed,
- 23:19Speaker 2: high blood pressure in the lungs, chronic breathing issues. Over time,
- 23:23Speaker 2: with therapy and care, she's grown and is now thriving
- 23:29Speaker 2: and showing off her sparkling personality. Stephanie says her husband
- 23:33Speaker 2: Andy said they're eager to settle into everyday life with
- 23:36Speaker 2: their daughter after what they described as an eighteen month
- 23:39Speaker 2: roller coaster ride. Leah will continue to receive oxygen at
- 23:43Speaker 2: home and have follow up appointments about her medical team,
- 23:46Speaker 2: says her future looks incredibly bright. Way to go, Leah,
- 23:51Speaker 2: and way to go Mom and Dad, just in time
- 23:53Speaker 2: for Thanksgiving.
- 23:54Speaker 4: My hot heart, my whole heart. This is so I
- 23:58Speaker 4: hate everything.
- 23:59Speaker 2: We got today, all right on the Big ninety eight
- 24:02Speaker 2: point seven Morning Show. I think that's wonderful. Good for them,
- 24:04Speaker 2: and I'm sure a big sigh of relief for Mom.
- 24:07Speaker 4: And day something to really be grateful for.
- 24:10Speaker 1: That's right.
- 24:10Speaker 2: The world is full of nice people. If you can't
- 24:12Speaker 2: find one, you gotta be one.
