Welcome to Soul Elevation: Guiding Your Ascension to New Heights. I am so excited to be here with you. I'm Kara Goodwin, and today is Monday, August 17th. So I'm very excited to be here with you today, and today I'm gonna be talking about Um, activations. We're gonna talk about activations. And just to let you know, I am having to stream this again through Zoom. I've restarted my computer, and I tried to do this directly in YouTube and came up with issues. Again, I'm having so much technical interference. It's really got my attention, and maybe we'll get to that when we're done talking about the main topic. But,
• 1:00
um, it is ... It really has my attention how much technical interference I'm having, and it's not related to the equipment. So anyway, I am excited to talk about this today. I want to talk about activations, and first let's start with what activations are, because this is a word that gets thrown around and maybe, you know, you, you aren't clear about what activations are. But activations really are when we receive something and it wakes something up within us. So you, you, you, um ... And it's energetic. Activations are energetic. But they can happen through spoken word, they can happen through energy healing, they can happen through actual activations. There are people who will say, you know, "Here, you can sign up for this certain activation," maybe a star seed
• 2:00
activation or a light language activation or whatever, and it's intended to deliver energy to you. You receive that energy, and it kind of wakes something up within you. It activates something that had been dormant. So something that is within you already, but it was kind of sleeping, and it activates, it wakes that up within you. And sometimes you might feel these things happen in real time, and sometimes they happen Like, you might receive an activation, but you don't really notice anything that happens right away, and it will unfold more slowly, and that can take paying attention. It can be hard to catch sometimes because we have our regular lives, right? So we're kind of going through life, and we may be, um, distracted by things or, or just caught up in regular life and not notice, oh, this thing that
• 3:00
I didn't use to understand or I didn't use to be able to do, now all of a sudden I understand it. Or, or there's a trigger that used to really cause you to spin out, and that trigger shows up but it doesn't have the same effect on you. So some change in your life, ideally for the better, um, that happens, but it might not happen immediately upon receiving an activation But I titled this, this, uh, live as You're Receiving Activations Even When You Don't Realize It. So like I said, sometimes you will see somebody with an offering that will specifically call out an activation. Again, like popular ones would be a light language activation or some type of activation that you know you're consenting to, and you know that you're, um, you're actively inviting in. But the reality is that
• 4:00
you are constantly embedded within an energetic system. This reality is energetic by nature, and so you're gonna constantly be interacting with people, and you can receive activations with them without necessarily them ... For one thing, they may not be meaning to activate something within you, but you also ... They might be doing it more deliberately, but kind of behind the scenes. And a lot of what times what the way that that happens is through the spoken word or the written word. So you might be reading something. I mean, I've had this happen so many times, where I'm reading something and it is like, whoa, all of a sudden like something big clicks, or I, I just suddenly the exact way that it has been written and worded just really makes something click into place, and I
• 5:00
understand something. Maybe it's something that I'd heard before but I hadn't really totally understood, or it might be something I've never heard before but I just am like, "Oh my God, that's so true." Or sometimes I don't even, uh, know exactly what has been activated. I just know the res- response that I'm getting. And sometimes those things make me feel sleepy, interestingly enough. And this used to happen a lot when I was first starting to get to know my, my former mentor, Michael Massey, who you may have heard me talk about. I write about him, um, part... That's part of what I write about in Your Authentic Awakening. But we would talk on the phone, and we'd be having these spiritual discussions, and he would be introducing all of these concepts that were new to me, things that I had never heard before, and I would get so tired.
• 6:00
It would be like I would hang up the phone, and I would have to immediately go to sleep. I would be exhausted, and that was really curious for me. That happened for quite a while, and he would say t- I would tell him, like, "Gosh, I was exhausted when we got off the phone," and he would laugh and say, "Well, you were being activated." And it was happening on a lot of levels. So it was happening through his words, like the intellectually, I was learning new things, and that was just, uh, intellectually, it just got to a point where, uh, I was learning a lot of new things all at once, and it was making me tired. But there was also the energetic component where these were things that I knew in a deeper level, but I didn't know... They weren't awake yet within me. So there was an energetic component where they were coming online, and that can be physically... That can manifest as becoming physically
• 7:00
tired I had this happen just yesterday actually, where I was talking to a man named Jeff Jones. He works closely with Raymond Grace, who is an am- both of these gentlemen are just amazing men. I, I h- have a second interview with Raymond that's coming out next week, that I'm really excited for you to see. If you have not tuned in, I'll try to remember to link Raymond's first episode in my show notes. He's just a really remarkable person, and he's very activating. But I had never talked to Jeff before, and I found I kept yawning as I was talking to him, and this wasn't late at night, it was just in the evening. And I noticed, I was like, "This is a weird time for me to be tired." But I kept yawning, and I was like, "Oh, I'm getting activations." And Jeff wasn't explicitly trying to activate me. He was just sharing with me. But there was something within the
• 8:00
energy resonance between us and, uh... Hi, Crystal. Um, there was something in that energy resonance between us that was causing me to respond with tiredness. So that can be one way that we experience activations. But again, you can be receiving activations through things that you read, through things that you listen to. So you might be listening to a podcast or a live stream, and you might be receiving information and energy that is waking parts of you up. And so that is completely possible. That happens a lot, and it can be that people deliberately do that. They're sharing information that they're hoping and intending is going to expand people. It's going
• 9:00
to work in their highest good, and it's going to awaken things within them that will serve them. And it can happen that they maybe don't even necessarily have that intention, but it's just happening anyway, and the only one to know if they're being activated is, is the receiver. And again, it can be something that happens very plainly and very obviously, but it can also be something that happens a little bit over time, and that can be... That, that's also a very curious thing. I've had this happen a lot too, where I come across something and the first time that I hear it I get it, but it doesn't really, like, mean much to me, and I don't really feel much from it. And then later, whether it's days later, weeks later, months later, but at some
• 10:00
point I have some experience myself. Often that's some sort of energetic, psychic, um, astral experience, and then it's like my consciousness links back to the conversation or the information that I received that didn't really mean much at the time, but because I have my own experience, it's like that lights up in my memory, in my consciousness, in my life stream, and I... It's kind of like an, a future activation, if that makes sense. So these are all ways that you might experience activations. And so if you're the type of person that you've heard about this and you're kind of seeking them out, just know that you are very likely receiving them. You are receiving them all the time because we are
• 11:00
all interrelational, so we are all affecting each other. And this is where you want to be using your discernment. I'm going to be always encouraging you to use your discernment, because there are always two sides to every coin. And so there are people who are activating you for your highest good, and then there are people who knowingly and/or unknowingly are activating you, not for your highest good, but for their highest good. And you can usually recognize that because you become afraid. So fear is going to be, um, if somebody, like, triggers that fear within you, then that can kind of activate something within you. But often your fear, if your fear is driving, then that's not for your highest good.
• 12:00
And there are people who will deliver- deliberately activate that within you because it will then benefit them But it's not for your highest good And this is where you want to have your discernment, be aware, and be diligent. If you're finding that you are joining people's programs because you're afraid, you're doing it so that something doesn't happen that you're afraid of, you know, just pick that apart a little bit and see, like, are you being manipulated there for that? That's a very common tactic, and there can be people who will insist that they wanna do the... They want to do something for your highest good, that they're offering something for your highest good, but they're going about it from a fear perspective. It is
• 13:00
igniting and activating within you a fear that is driving your action, and that ultimately is a warning sign. Now, it doesn't mean that there are not... That we don't live in a dualistic society or dualistic environment, d- dualistic reality. There are things that you need to watch out for. So, you know, it's not that it... That you have to always only talk love and light and follow people who only talk about love and light because that is very one-sided, and it isn't talking about the full breadth of reality. And like you have probably heard me say a lot, the biggest, most powerful tool that the devil has is for people to not believe that evil, the devil, Satan exists. If we deny and we don't allow ourselves to believe that there is
• 14:00
evil at play, then that serves the devil, Satan. That serves their agenda beautifully. This goes back to why I feel that I am undergoing so many technical issues, um, when I try to do these livestreams. More and more, I... It is... I'm having such crazy interference, and, um, I tried to go live today just directly on YouTube, and right away it said, "Something went wrong. Try again." And so I know when I see that at this point, I'm like, I know if I see that, it's gonna be laggy. It's gonna... The, the video's gonna shift, and I'm gonna be all warped and all of this. And to me, that is just a signal that there are lower energies that are trying to interfere with my messages getting out. And so what does that tell us? If they don't want you to
• 15:00
hear what I have to say, it doesn't serve their agenda. You becoming more powerful and more sure of yourself and more filled with light You remembering that you are a divine being that is a child of God, and remembering that you are a beautiful light who is here in service to light. That doesn't serve that agenda. And so I'm not super surprised that I come up with these technical interferences, but I do appreciate you sticking with me. If you do encounter lags in the video and so forth, um, I'm seeing a comment, "As your light grows, so does the level of darkness that likes to interact with us, and YouTube has been strange in the past few days as well." Thank you for sharing that. Yeah, I, I, I haven't seen this on a, on a lot
• 16:00
of other channels, but I'm not, like, consuming a ton of other channels. But, um, and I'm seeing comments from people that are saying my channel is acting very bizarrely. So I do appreciate you tuning in and sticking with it and persevering, and, um, to me, it just kind of shows, like, yeah, okay, just keep trying. You're just ... It, it's, it's a self-evident, self-evident cycle of, like, if you're gonna, if you're gonna try to thwart the messages coming through, it just gives it that much more validity. So, um... And Kristen is saying, "This is happening to me more and more these days with technology. I've stopped fighting it." Yeah, I know. It's like, yeah, just for me, stream it via Zoom, and that seems to make it work okay even though the quality isn't as great, but at least it gets in there. So anyway, well, thank you everybody so much for being
