- 0:11It's the tip of the spare in the epic battle to defend the United States of America.
- 0:19The national security hour exposes the wolves in chief's clothing and the nefarious plots to undermine and destroy U.S.
- 0:27national security.
- 0:31Welcome back, America.
- 0:33This is your host, Fred Galvin.
- 0:35We have another very interesting and very important topic to go ahead and talk about today.
- 0:42And it's one that actually, you know, I like talking about future events, but we have to focus on what's going on right now.
- 0:51Since our American forces, they are decisively engaged in this war against Iran.
- 0:59This is something that uh we're going to talk about tonight how this is being used politically in the United States, and how, as with many other issues that we've talked about on previous shows, that we have an external enemy that is trying to divide the American population against ourselves.
- 1:22And then we have a portion of the American population that is also very eagerly, very viciously trying to work on the same motive on trying to divide the United States against ourselves for political purposes.
- 1:45But tonight I want to talk about these update as far as we've been at war for nearly a month.
- 1:54Um, by the time most of you will hear this, it'll have been just shy of that month mark.
- 2:01And uh that means that our men and women are still out there in harm's way, they need our support.
- 2:08Um I'm not one that says, hey, we we don't need any type of accountability, but they need they need our American the citizens full support.
- 2:22If you have problems uh with the motives, you need to seek information that's factual, not emotional, and you need to seek that far and wide, not from a single source.
- 2:34I see so many people in America getting emotional over information versus facts.
- 2:42And tonight I'm going to put out a lot of facts regarding an update as far as what has been going on since the 28th of February, since the United States has been involved in combat operations in Iran, and we've been also having Americans as well as our friends and allies across the Middle East region involved in defensive fighting, uh, being basically shelled, and that has been going on prior to this conflict.
- 3:13We were just not hearing about it in the press, unfortunately.
- 3:16We're gonna talk about that as well, uh, because it is exhibit ABC D, and you name how far we want to go back as far as these were not even issues that we've even ever talked about.
- 3:33And on 7 October 2021, when Israel was attacked, these same Iranian-backed militias were violently attacking our United States military assets in Iraq and in Syria and our ships at sea by Houthi rebels, by Hezbollah, by Hamas, and it was continuous.
- 3:58And now we're hearing so many politicians, and we're gonna start uh talking about some of those specifically later on in the show.
- 4:05But how they're saying this was unprovoked, unjust, that there was no imminent threat.
- 4:10These are talking points that are very calculated and very coordinated and they're coming out, and when you see this kind of narrative, that's usually a sign of what we did in the military.
- 4:23I've seen this happen so many times for decades in the past, where this is a sign of you know, coordination that uh it's in synchronicity with someone that's financing and controlling this messaging, and uh that's that's something that we have to pay very close attention to.
- 4:41So we'll give this progress report um of what the United States and Israel have been doing uh attacking Iran, Iran's retaliation and the effects that that has had, specifically on many of uh our Gulf state allies, what the current update uh and this is changing so fast that by the time you hear this, there could be new information.
- 5:07So I'm I'm going on the record saying that as we as I am speaking, there could be new information that comes out, which stating the the progress of what uh operations are going on to uh target Iranian uh resistance in the Straits of Hormuz, and uh some of the updated as far as this domestic political fight.
- 5:32So this is uh the media should be really loving this and all this reporting on so many different topics from the economy to this war to uh all these acts of terror that have been occurring recently in the United States.
- 5:48Uh, there's so much to talk about, but we are going to focus on what is going on in the Middle East region, as well as how many of our politicians are trying to amplify this, trying to do the same thing we've talked about as uh is our adversaries uh foreign are doing the same thing as what uh many of these politicians are trying to do to divide our population and use narratives that this was not an imminent threat.
- 6:17And we're going to drill down and show the historic examples to even the near term of how when there has been attack after attack after attack, uh, countless American lives lost since 1979, uh, where they were just captured in 79, held hostage through 1980, killed um in Lebanon in 1983, and the list goes on and on.
- 6:44We're gonna talk more in depth on that list.
- 6:46And I know from past episodes I'll sound like a broken record, but that needs to be addressed.
- 6:51It needs to be restated and to soak in for those that are saying there was no imminent threat.
- 6:58When you've seen after we targeted uh last June 2025, uh facilities in Iraq, and then we went into negotiations all the way up till the 27th of February 2026, and those failed.
- 7:16The offer on the table, I want everybody to understand the offer that was on the table was for Iran to walk out of there and not have any attack was that there needs to be inspections, but that Iran would have completely free civilian nuclear energy for life for free, and they walked away.
- 7:41And I'm gonna sort of do a little teaser and spoiler because I was gonna save this for the close, but we'd see how hard Iran is working uh and fighting even their former friends.
- 7:57I'm talking Saudi Arabia, the United Abraham rights, the Kuwaitis, uh Iraq, Bahrain, many of these Gulf states, they've been shelling.
- 8:08But if they are so hellbent on getting a nuclear weapon, think if instead of these being missiles and drones, these were warheads of 2,000 kilograms.
- 8:18And now you see these messaging that's going out all over the interwebs that Iran is saved the best for last.
- 8:27Now they're now they're rolling out their heavy stuff, their heavy drones.
- 8:31That's those are Iranian uh information operations that's being amplified in America.
- 8:39Um, and I'm glad we don't have um you know restrictions on our media, but that's going right into the mind.
- 8:47So that's to create fear and make it seem like boy, I have a loved one over there.
- 8:53I know of somebody else that does, and this is this is terrible.
- 8:56Um that's happening live as we speak, and we have to be very, very well aware of what the actual truth is.
- 9:05Iran doesn't have they haven't saved their best for last.
- 9:08And I would say this is close to being their last.
- 9:11We're targeting not just their active manufactured weapons, but the plants that manufacture those weapons were attacking those as well, and there's been a severe reduction, but uh many fringe media, it's not really that they're media because media is supposed to be reporting the facts, the five W's, something that they've gone and done some investigating rigor, and they fact check and put some analysis into it, but they're just spewing out things just like content creators do on YouTube and TikTok.
- 9:44Uh, that's that is how bad the propaganda I only want to justify it worth the word called news because it is definitely not that.
- 9:55You see what a lot of these editors are doing, is they're filtering things that.
- 10:01Could ever be looked at as pro-American and pro, you know, hey, we want to fight and degrade Iran's capabilities.
- 10:10They want to filter that and just make it all about this unhinged uh uh unauthorized by Congress war uh that now has no end state.
- 10:22Uh but more we're gonna unfold all this, but this is uh that's my open.
- 10:29It's uh really important that we talk all about that.
- 10:32We talk about the politics of our national defense of what is uh interfering because we we may have it uh be sixty days because it's not just uh that's how long it we have, unless uh Congress authorizes more, but uh we do have an election, and and everybody knows that to include our enemies, and that's uh that's very unfortunate that uh this situation is is here, and we can't truly take care of an actual viable threat.
- 11:07And I'm saying this, I know we're going to finally talk about a recent resignation in the Trump staff uh of Joe Kent, the former director of counter-terrorism center, and uh and discuss, you know, what he said and kind of his career.
- 11:25I want to talk about that because I believe he's one of many that's made uh some very strong comments, and we want to look at the reasoning for uh those and if they hold water, are they true?
- 11:40Is it true that Iran posed no imminent threat at all?
- 11:45We know that they're exactly hell bent on getting a nuclear weapon developing this missile technology.
- 11:51How hard would it be for them to acquire any of that technology from a pure adversary, whether it's China or Russia and attack um either some of these Gulf states or I mean that is coming in?
- 12:06Do we need to have it be another Cuban missile crisis?
- 12:10Do we need 1962 to happen all over again?
- 12:13Where now the threat is right on our doorsteps, it's imminent, and there's almost no way to de-escalate.
- 12:20Is that what we want?
- 12:21Is for our crazy neighbor who fires off their weapons to actually load it and point it directly at our face.
- 12:30That's imminent threat.
- 12:31Do we need to wait to that minute?
- 12:33That's the question I'm asking, and I will continue to ask that through the show because I need this to marinate in everybody's minds when you say imminent.
- 12:41Is that the best thing to happen?
- 12:45You know, I when I analyze past conflicts and I look, I look at these historical markers that existed, and this lady Ann Winslow who saw one of these coastal defense batteries down on Hickam Field.
- 13:02She was in an army airfield, and she made a comment.
- 13:07Um diverging to converge here.
- 13:09Just let me uh wrap this up, if you would, please.
- 13:13She said, I watched Hawkins battery fire their 12-inch guns, after which the Japanese have no terror on my heart.
- 13:23They can attack any time they want.
- 13:31Over 30 years and six months before we were attacked, a little bit longer than six months, but who's counting?
- 13:37I was a marine, so my math's not perfect, but my history is pretty good.
- 13:42And I will say we knew it was coming.
- 13:46We built up fortifications in Hawaii.
- 13:48It was eminent, it was going to come.
- 13:50And a lot of American history books talk about it being a surprise attack.
- 13:54It wasn't definitely not a surprise attack.
- 13:56We knew it was coming, it was imminent.
- 13:58It was uh we were complacent.
- 14:00But did we need to wait until that mini sub entered Pearl Harbor at 342 and was spotted by a minesweeper in Pearl Harbor on the morning of the 7th?
- 14:16Did we need that to happen?
- 14:17Did we need to have it get that close?
- 14:20Or did we need to wait until uh some air reconnaissance planes were spotted over Fort Shafter in Hawaii?
- 14:30It's 7.40 in the morning.
- 14:33And correction, 720 in the morning.
- 14:36And that was reported up.
- 14:40And Americans then a second time said no, let's not be alarmist.
- 14:47Don't worry about this.
- 14:51And like many black swan events, things happen in threes.
- 14:56And what happened finally too late, is some young army radar operators up at Opana Point on the North Shore of Oahu, reported that they saw many what they termed in that day, uh, targets, targets approaching from the north.
- 15:15And that was reported up to their officer in charge.
- 15:21That was an imminent threat.
- 15:22That was the main, that was the first of two waves.
- 15:25About 180 planes were in the air, and they it was discounted saying, hey, we're expecting some B-17s coming in from the West Coast.
- 15:34Complacency, America, complacency.
- 15:38If any one of those three, and I will say this that the mini sub was spotted, it was reported, and it was acted on, not by just the minesweeper, the American minesweeper, but the USS Ward, a destroyer right there at the throat of Pearl Harbor.
- 16:00It did come in, and they didn't wait for all these rules of engagement.
- 16:05They fired upon that mini sub.
- 16:07They dropped depth charges.
- 16:09Americans were the first to fight on 7 December.
- 16:13But we needed our leaders at the senior levels to wake up and not be afraid.
- 16:22It's like the Bible says in Joshua.
- 16:25First chapter, ninth verse, it says, be strong, be courageous.
- 16:29And it repeats that three times.
- 16:32That's God speaking to Joshua.
- 16:35And God knows our nature, and that sometimes we aren't strong and we don't have courage.
- 16:42We're not bold.
- 16:43But that's why it's repeated and reinforced and emphasized three times repeatedly, because sometimes we fail to get it, and we need to be bold.
- 16:55And when leaders are bold, things happen that need to happen, need to get done.
- 17:01And right now we're having bold action take place, and political opponents, just like they did with lawfare.
- 17:11They are attacking a leader because they don't like him.
- 17:16And we have seen this in many different ways.
- 17:19Um, and we're going to go to a break.
- 17:21We'll talk more about this right after we come back from this break.
- 17:24Pay attention to the messages, and uh, we'll be right back shortly.

- 20:05Welcome back, America.
- 20:06This is your host, retired Green Major Fred Galvin.
- 20:10We have we we do need to focus on this update.
- 20:15And sorry for focusing on some comparisons with what's going on now with what went on in 1941, but there's some similarities that we really needed to talk about.
- 20:26And those involve complacency.
- 20:28Those involved Americans that said there's not an imminent danger.
- 20:34I'll tell you what.
- 20:36We lost thousands of lives that morning, not just only on the USS Arizona, but on all eight battleships were attacked.
- 20:47We we lost 18 ships total, and eight American bases were attacked that didn't need to if leaders like Admiral Husband Kimball that was in charge had acted with the duty and responsibilities that they were obligated to put in to action, and they did not.
- 21:08And they were held accountable.
- 21:10Husband and Kimmel was reduced in rank.
- 21:15But now let's talk about today.
- 21:18This is no longer a limited shadow war, ladies and gentlemen.
- 21:22Since the 28th of last month, the United States and Israel, we've been in a direct large-scale war with Iran.
- 21:34And both in Washington, D.C.
- 21:36and Jerusalem.
- 21:38We've stated that the goals are to degrade Iran's nuclear missile capability and to remove the threat that Iran poses to U.S.
- 21:47forces, Israeli forces, and to regional shipping.
- 21:52And this has, you say it's changed.
- 21:55Well, when a country fights back, that does change the calculus.
- 22:01Um the enemy always has a vote.
- 22:05Combat, as I've stated before, it's not a noun, it's a verb.
- 22:10It it evolves, it changes, and you everybody thinks, and you've heard a lot of these politicians talk about how it should be very surgical and sterile, and it should be like uh a scientific equation where everything, sort of like an accounting, everything equals on both sides of the formula.
- 22:29It doesn't work that way in combat.
- 22:32So this conflict is it's already expanded beyond Iran and Israel into the wider Gulf arena.
- 22:42The these attacks, Iran has launched against many of these Gulf states, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Kuwaitis, Iraqis, Bahrainis, and uh threats to the shipping.
- 22:56And I'll say I would expect that those nations become closer allies because that's affecting you know their profits.
- 23:06And do they have reserves?
- 23:08Do they have uh incredible amounts of money?
- 23:11Sure.
- 23:12Do they have ways to have alternate shipping lanes?
- 23:16Yes, and no.
- 23:18They don't have that same throughput that they do through these massive.
- 23:22Uh if you've ever seen, I don't know if many of you listening have seen these massive ocean oil freighters.
- 23:30Uh it's just humongous.
- 23:32They carry so much oil.
- 23:33So can you ship that in trucks?
- 23:36No, you can't.
- 23:37Can you ship a sum?
- 23:38Sure, but not the same quantities.
- 23:41Again, um, it's the it's the amount of reduction.
- 23:45We're talking 20% of the oil, and are there pipelines that the Saudis had constructed?
- 23:51It's it just doesn't have the same bandwidth as these massive ships.
- 23:56That's the kingpin amount of oil that's out there, and that's what these companies are really maintaining their profits, and that affects the net profits, it affects the consumer price and producer price index, as well as the all of our economic indicators, the uh CPE, there's inflation, GPD, uh, GDP.
- 24:21It's all impacted with sweet crude prices.
- 24:26So it's very important that becomes restored.
- 24:35And that is what uh Iraq right now, they are trying to, or Iran is trying to inflict on the whole globe.
- 24:43You know, they're they're attacking these Gulf allies for providing any type of support or not sticking up for Iran, they're trying to force the whole world into the situation, which our own politicians are on the side of these Iranian leaders.
- 24:58They want they're driving the narrative that these Iranian leaders are saying, like, hey, you just can't take this pain.
- 25:04This kitchen table topic of inflation, you know.
- 25:08That's that's exactly there, they're seeing off the same sheet of music and off the same note.
- 25:14They're in perfect harmony.
- 25:16Uh and it's it's sad.
- 25:18Um but back to Iran.
- 25:22We've um we've done tremendous damage attacking and attraiting Iran's top leadership.
- 25:31Uh, Reuters, they reported that uh Ali Khomeini was killed, obviously, uh, on the first day of strikes, along with his senior defense and uh IRGT uh IRGC figures.
- 25:45There's a several layers, but we're talking again uh over 600,000 active and 350,000 reserves, the 16th largest military.
- 25:56This is it's not going to be something that's won and done.
- 26:00Uh many people are trying to use the same calculus that happened during Desert Storm against Saddam Hussein or during Operation Iraqi Freedom One, where it was just massive shock and all.
- 26:12But uh Iran is a little bit different than Iraq.
- 26:18Iraq capitulated very rapidly twice, and they went into hiding where Iran.
- 26:23This is showing this should show everybody that has a question that maybe maybe I should just check my ego, check my comments, bridle my tongue, and and look at what's going on.
- 26:38Because again, I'm gonna repeat this several times is the answer to the test.
- 26:43Iran was hellbent on this missile technology, on this nuclear weapons technology.
- 26:50Do we need to wait until we see this large quote-unquote target from the radar station at Opana Point?
- 26:59That target was reported at 7.40.
- 27:04Um they had launched from those six Japanese carriers, and they're heading to attack on that first wave.
- 27:12Uh, all eight targets, all eight U.S.
- 27:15military bases in Oahu.
- 27:19Do we need the missiles to be in the air before we take action?
- 27:23Is that what I is that what I'm sensing from these people?
- 27:28Because these people talk with a sharp tongue and very lacking on American military history, and what kills is indecisiveness.
- 27:40What kills is people without a bias to defend American interests and Americans, both at home and abroad.
- 27:49But uh we have a president that launched this attack, and are we gonna get the straight answer as far as was Israel getting it?
- 28:00Doesn't matter.
- 28:01Iran posed a threat, and sooner or later that was going to occur against Americans uh somewhere on the world, and is there evidence of that?
- 28:15Is there evidence of mass-scale rioting shouting in the streets of Tehran, death to America?
- 28:21Yes, there is.
- 28:49What that means is they want to totally fulfill they want the full manifestation of what they're shouting in the streets, America, and that is death to America.
- 29:00That is what they want.
- 29:03Take it very seriously when you have an enemy who uses terror and an ideology, and they have become fully radicalized.
- 29:15Believe them when they say they will not stop until they get a nuclear weapon.
- 29:20That was the deal on the table as late as the 27th of February.
- 29:26And any politician, especially those on the Senate and House Armed Services Committee, especially those who are veterans, anyone in a cabinet position who was a veteran, knows that when diplomacy failed, and it failed on 27 February.
- 29:41I know the Iranians were stalling and trying to say this was, you know, there's we're hopeful that's to buy time.
- 29:48Um, and just look at how many weapons they have and what they're doing with those weapons.
- 29:54Not, I mean, Israel and the United States have attacked them, but they're attacking.
- 30:00Civilian targets, civilian airports.
- 30:03Um, and there's a report that's being investigated.
- 30:06It's kind of hard to get a good honest investigation when you don't have access to international press.
- 30:12And here's a question to my friends that are in the national press because I know so many of you guys are so courageous.
- 30:18Dump your chest, how tough you are.
- 30:21And um, and I've had a lot of interaction if I could, because some of these guys refuse to talk to me because they're they're so enlightened.
- 30:30But where are you when you don't have the guts?
- 30:33How about you know some of these uh intelligence professionals that are risking their necks in Iran into Iran right now?
- 30:42Where are you?
- 30:43Why can't you?
- 30:44Yeah, that's right.
- 30:45Mr.
- 30:46Pearl, he got his cut uh head cut off 2001 in Afghanistan.
- 30:51And your organizations won't let you do that.
- 30:54But you could be an independent reporter, but you you don't have the guts to do that.
- 30:59Um it does take guts, I will say that.
- 31:03But you have opinions that you're writing out there, and you're supposed to be the news.
- 31:08I'm not uh saying I have a news show here.
- 31:11I'm just saying that I'm telling you you're not in Iran, so you don't know what the hell is really going on.
- 31:18Um, but we do know we do have accurate information that there were tens of thousands of the former Ayatollah's own citizens who were being assassinated in Iran, and if you're killing your own people, and if you have a complete uh communications blackout, um again, I've said it before on other shows and uh in the past, that uh why does one party always fall in love with uh President John F.
- 31:53Kennedy's bean Einberg Lennar speech of we will do everything for democracy.
- 32:02We will stand with any friend, we will oppose any foe no matter what the cost.
- 32:06That's okay when it's JFK saying it, but when we actually do support that, and uh thank God that JFK was forceful when Russia was shipping missiles and uh and we could have had that threat right now with missiles pointed at Miami, and uh I'm glad we don't.
- 32:28But uh we don't need that threat in Iran at all, and we don't need an Iranian government with abilities to operate outside of Iran, which they're currently doing, and which they've done for the last 20 years.
- 32:43I remember as a young Marine losing a lot of friends that I've seen in graves around the United States of America that had nothing left of them.
- 32:54Uh, this is personal to me.
- 32:56They were blown up.
- 32:57Have friends that I served with Marines that stepped on these EFP mines that were that was a technology that the Iranians had, they came and they trained the Mujahideen in Iraq.
- 33:13They killed a lot of my friends.
- 33:15They came into Afghanistan and taught them how to use mortars and how to do coordinated attacks and how to use disinformation.
- 33:23These are facts, America.
- 33:25This is what I'm reporting.
- 33:27This is what I experienced.
- 33:29And now we're seeing these, you know, what we have done against Iraq at over a thousand Iran, over a thousand targets.
- 33:41It's not some symbolic raid that somebody thought, you know, we're gonna do that.
- 33:45But that would have really led to nothing.
- 33:47You know, to if you just degrade the the first wave, uh thank God we have some resolve international leadership to make sure that this attrition goes deep.
- 33:59And if it has to last all 60 days until we get to the timeline of an official war powers act, if that's what it needs.
- 34:07And again, I don't need to take a break right now and lose my stomach because some people had no question is you know, a blank check when it came to Ukraine, and now they're counting every penny that uh we're spending on munitions over in Iran.
- 34:29Um, and they don't seem to mind that uh well, I mean, some people are even Chuck Schumer saying, you know, we could not afford to have Iran with a nuclear weapon.
- 34:38At least he, oh my goodness, at least he has um, you know, some form of integrity, uh which is shocking, but it uh anyway.
- 34:53We're seeing this targeting shift from military targets and leadership targets, and now the US forces have shifted this towards a focus on the Hormuz battle space, and you know, who knows this wild card with moving the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit on the USS Tripoli and it's uh expeditionary strike group, moving them into theater, uh, which by the time you hear this, we'll be much closer.
- 35:27And so the shaping operations that are going on, that's a wild card that Trump can put down.
- 35:34And now, will a battalion landing team of Marines be sufficient enough for any sized military target?
- 35:43Well, there's Marines at higher levels, um, a Ford um uh Marine Central Command Ford has a one-star general over there, and I'm sure that general will make a wise choice regarding, and I think that's I think that's uh a buddy of mine uh that's over there.
- 36:04I'd have to actually look that up.
- 36:05I should know.
- 36:06Um, but he will make a wise decision as far as the resources and assets that he needs to reinforce if there's any plan to use that marine expeditionary unit to uh go from sea to land.
- 36:21But you're seeing just like what happened in the Southern Command in Venezuela, that the United States is using tactics, techniques, and procedures that put us in a favorable time and location so that we can strike when and where and how we want with stealth and from a position that is unknown by our enemy.
- 36:43Now, is Iran receiving intelligence from national assets of both Russia and China?
- 36:51Undoubtedly.
- 36:52Do they know where our ships likely are?
- 36:55And is that communication going to Iran that can send what's remaining of their kilo class submarines to uh target these ships?
- 37:04Definitely.
- 37:05And our ships protected by uh fast attack submarines that go out and hunt them down and uh anti-submarine warfare.
- 37:13And I'm not gonna get into all how we uh utilize that once our task forces are underway, but there's measures and countermeasures that we use and our enemies use to have this action reaction and counteraction to uh to fight this fight.
- 37:31But uh whatever anyone thinks politically, this campaign has already achieved one undeniable result, and it's severely degraded Iran's senior command structure.
- 37:44It's forced to fight onto terrain where the United States of America's power is the strongest.
- 37:50We are able to use our air sea land for long-range strikes.
- 37:54And with that, we're gonna go to commercial break.
- 37:56Don't go away.
- 37:57We'll be right back after this important message for our final segment.

- 39:09Welcome back, America.
- 39:10This is your host, Fred Calvin.
- 39:12We uh we're gonna do a little two-minute drill because we I love this subject.
- 39:17I would much rather be covering what uh future events happen, could happen, uh, but we still need to finish this update, and uh we got a lot to talk about.
- 39:26So Iran has been doing some targeting, and even reporters or Reuters of reporters have reported that uh some of these Gulf states in uh the Arabian Peninsula that initially oppose this war, now they're talking to Washington DC on, especially if Iran retains the ability to threaten Gulf oil infrastructure and maritime traffic.
- 39:52They are supporting, and that's what we want actually is to have most of these Gulf states to own this mess that's in their backyard.
- 40:01Wouldn't it be great if they could commit air, land, and naval forces to get involved and to make sure that we have freedom of movement and we have a I used to hate that phrase free and open uh traffic lanes, that's what we really want.
- 40:18So Iran, they're they're causing a lot of problems for themselves.
- 40:24Every drone attack, and there's a lot of people, even in the United States, unfortunately, that uh are supporting this anti-Semitism, and they don't seem to mind, you know, if one target, if one target allegedly hit a school and some potential civilian young girls were killed in Iran.
- 40:47We haven't we don't know there's investigation on that.
- 40:51But since we can't get on boots on the ground, who knows what that'll be determining.
- 40:56But what has actually happened, which all these you know, pro-Iranian um pro-enemy, we should say, uh, people are taking to the airwaves, they uh they don't really even want to talk at all about the Israeli civilian population centers that are getting attacked and shelled every day.
- 41:16Uh, if you actually could do this and switch the channels on your television, most people have that ability, it's not just glued to one channel, but you can see actually reporters on non-mainstream media that actually have a helmet on their head and body armor, and they're reporting from Tel Aviv and other places in the Middle East, and they're getting shelled.
- 41:36So wow.
- 41:39Uh you know, it's weird how other reporters, I'm sure they could send reporters from the New York Times and Washington Post to Tel Aviv.
- 41:47Uh, but again, there's that problem with the filter.
- 41:50You know, the editor-in-chief doesn't like that, so those don't get reported.
- 41:54And I say this.
- 41:55I've been, if you want to read a book about disinformation and how you can distort the truth where it looks nothing like reality, read the book, a few bad men.
- 42:07I've had this happen on a graduate level scenario, and this is in progress right now, where the media is complicit with these disinformations.
- 42:21But it's it's interesting how AP and Reuters are both reporting that Iran is widening the retaliation of these Gulf states.
- 42:31You know, they're they're in favor of doing strikes and you know, opening up, you know, this flow so that uh because they've crossed all these red lines.
- 42:42So but Iran is they're trying to impose fear and use this in a political pressure to create this economic shock across the region by threatening these cities and energy nodes and shipping lanes.
- 42:57But uh, it's not just a missile from missile.
- 43:00Iran realizes, you know, they're they are smart and they're I gotta have to give them credit.
- 43:05They are fighting a long game, and they understand that their strategy is to coerce through escalation, hit these civilian centers, hit these commerce and energy and transportation and try to force put the pressure on these countries to capitulate and to concede with Tehran.
- 43:24I don't believe that's gonna work.
- 43:26I believe all these leaders in the Gulf states, real quick, they're going to they're gonna fight back against Tehran, whoever is in charge today.
- 43:37So but this is switching right now where the Straits of Hormuz, that's the center of gravity, and that's what going forward we need to look at.
- 43:45Obviously, a quarter of the well, 25% uh of the world's oil is going through there, 20%.
- 43:55I should correct myself.
- 43:56Um, so that's shocking, and it's causing a lot of volatility and fuel prices, inflation and shipping insurance is going up, the food cost, everything is going up since the war started 45% uh rise in the price of oil.
- 44:12So this is real, and Tehran is understands this strategically, and they realize they may not be able to defeat America, but it's still trying to tax the entire world and trying to create that fear and shock.
- 44:28And we are trying to do the United States and Israel to reduce Iran's capability to wage this asymmetric retaliation, uh, which could happen here at home, just like our last conversation.
- 44:41We have to be very vigilant and very proactive and thinking defensively in case more attacks happen here in the homeland, which have occurred, and we need to be very aware and conscious of that.
- 44:54So uh but now let's talk about the political the political side of this.
- 45:01There's been a lot of critics talking, and but even as strange as it is to have me say this, um, and I have to report both sides.
- 45:13Uh is the you're gonna get the honest scoop from me, but Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, Chris Van Holland, these people have even stated that Iran's a bad actor and that they should be confronted.
- 45:25Now, do they talk out both sides of their mouth?
- 45:27You better believe it.
- 45:29Um they disagree with that the Trump administration should not have launched a preemptive war without congressional authorization.
- 45:38Um, but that has happened in the past on uh the Obama sides.
- 45:43It has been done more than just with this current Trump administration.
- 45:48Is it an illegal war of choice?
- 45:50That's the narrative they're saying, was like uh some opponents are saying, you know, Iran didn't pose as an imminent threat that allowed the president to act this way.
- 46:00Well, that's their opinion, and that makes a good catchy headline that's going to get a lot of attention.
- 46:07But um you're you're seeing a lot of those narratives, these legal, quote-unquote legal experts talking in Reuters about strikes pushing or exceeding the normal boundaries of presidential war power.
- 46:23Um maybe I know it is probably exceeding the number because Obama did 560 strikes in several different countries.
- 46:32Um it depends on the metric, you know.
- 46:36Now we're at over a thousand, almost two thousand uh missions targets uh with aviation ordinance and uh tomahawks, T lambs being fired, but um and not multiple countries.
- 46:50So what's your what's your metrics?
- 46:53So but there's a lot of criticism being uh tossed around in the media right now, and because it's a major election year, this is a dividing line.
- 47:03And I will say that I experienced this as I referred to the book I wrote, a few bad men.
- 47:09I had a Marine Special Operations Task Force, and I was fighting that fight.
- 47:13I had no idea as a naive guy from eastern Kansas that our task force and what similar to what's going on right now back then there was a run-up for a general presidential election at the time we were fighting, uh, where McCain, Senator McCain was running for president uh with against uh Senator Obama, and I had no idea that we could be these pawns in this war where it became an actual election issue.
- 47:48See that if you vote for McCain, he's gonna have more of this, you know, type of you know, escalation and atrocities, as they said they alleged falsely alleged that we had committed.
- 47:59That's what's going on right now.
- 48:00Is you know, he promised it would lead us into endless wars.
- 48:04Well, we were in an endless war in Ukraine, we still are, and nobody seemed to care.
- 48:08And there was an empty checkbook.
- 48:10So all of these objections, you know, my thing is quit trying to be so self-righteous, and the press is going right along with it.
- 48:20And that is exactly what our adversaries are hoping we would say.
- 48:25Um, but you know, so spare me on the illegality and the escalation and lack of planning and fear of endless Middle East wars.
- 48:35That's um, I think in the past, everybody else on the in the Obama administration has done the same.
- 48:43Um there wasn't any plan, continue to escalate, illegality.
- 48:48Trump or Obama even said if somebody messed with his daughters, you know, he's the what was the phrase that he used.
- 48:55I can't think of it off the top of my head, but you know, he you know, it's something about drones and you know, it's um yeah, my goodness.
- 49:03Uh, if Trump said something like that, it would be all over the news.
- 49:06But uh, but the critics are using this war's uncertainty in the legality questions and talking about how Americans are barely able to make it, and Trump's friends they are saying are are just getting rich off of this war, and they have no proof of that.
- 49:21But again, they don't need proof.
- 49:23This is disinformation, they're putting information out, and there is plenty of economic fallout.
- 49:29Nobody's gonna deny that.
- 49:30An honest person can state that.
- 49:33Um, and that had happened in the four years.
- 49:36We're almost we're not quite uh at the level of gas prices that we had during the Biden administration, and those will likely come back down as countries.
- 49:46It does take a lot of time to pump all this additional oil that we would need to make up for that deficit of the 20% that's coming through the streets or Hormoes, but um that could remain that is a definite uh reality that it could remain.
- 50:00Uh elevated for a while.
- 50:02But it's it's ironic that this war, there's a couple things that make it unique.
- 50:08I'll talk about three of them.
- 50:09First, that Iran they're they're not behaving like some victimized status quo.
- 50:14They're retaliating against civilian centers, threatening the world's economy through this maritime artery right there on the streets of Hormuz.
- 50:22So, you know, it's hard to have sympathy when you're targeting civilian airports in the Emirates and across the Gulf states.
- 50:31You know, those are not military targets.
- 50:33And then this campaign, it has produced real military effects against Iran's leadership.
- 50:40You know, these their missile infrastructure, their ability, you can't deny that it has had serious effects, uh, eliminating Tehran's capacity to impose this and inflict more casualties on civilian uh populations in the global economy, and then finally uh what's being used is a lot of this narrative uh here at home, uh, talking about three things the constitutional authority, the strategic end game, the economic blowback.
- 51:15These are this is what I need to talk about here, as far as how a lot of politicians are using this as a topic to once again use it like lawfare, and just plant the seed of doubt and let other people in the media come along and amplify that to where it's slowly, and with other people that don't have strong faith and can't see like this is the course we're on, we need to eliminate this threat, that uh they can change the way people think.
- 51:48That's the goal in psychological operations is use fear and messaging to change the way that people think.
- 51:55So the real question is now you see how long and how hard Iran is fighting with these high-tech weapons.
- 52:05We know they've been hellbent on getting a nuke and intercontinental missiles.
- 52:11My question is, is that what everyone wants to sit back for another however many years?
- 52:17It won't take 47 more years.
- 52:19Is that what we want to sit back and watch happen to only at a later point in time that we have this global threat to our life where it is imminent?
- 52:31Do we want to fight where it's imminent?
- 52:32Do we want to spend our last dollar to where now we're in this crisis?
- 52:36That's not how wise people act.
- 52:39And I'm not talking about going out and having a war for what we call the military GP general purpose for for no real good reason.
- 52:49That's not what we're talking about.
- 52:50But I'm not buying these arguments that people are making that this was an unprovoked, unprovoked.
- 52:57You know, they were threatening there is, you know, the director of national intelligence.
- 53:04There's credible evidence that Iran has made threats and tried to uh make good on those threats to assassinate the president of the United States.
- 53:13That is that is serious for me just to even say on the air, let alone.
- 53:17I mean, this is what our intelligence communities have have discovered, and it's real.
- 53:23Uh so you don't have to support endless wars to recognize that Iran is deliberately targeting civilian population and global commerce.
- 53:32That's that's what they're doing right now.
- 53:34Is that what we should want?
- 53:36More, I mean, they were targeting their own, now they're targeting people in a region.
- 53:40Do we want them to be able to have the capability to target people across the world?
- 53:44Is that what some people want?
- 53:46Because we have an American political class, but a political class uh that's fighting over who owns this war.
- 53:54But the harder question is do we have the plan to finish it without rewarding this Iranian coercion to the whole world?
- 54:03That's uh right now we have this battlefield right there in the Straits of Hormuz, and it's becoming a war of the global cost of living.
- 54:15And leads me, we have a few more minutes.
- 54:17I want to talk about a gentleman I've never met.
- 54:20Uh retired from the United States Army, served very honorably.
- 54:26Um, our former director of counter-terrorism center, uh, Joe Kent.
- 54:31He uh enlisted in the army, uh, which is I'm not knocking him on any of this.
- 54:37Uh and he went from the U.S.
- 54:39Army Rangers where he did a several combat deployments, total in his whole career of 11 combat deployments, which for most people that is that is truly significant.
- 54:48Um married a woman that he met when he was over there.
- 54:51He went into the special forces, got it became a green beret after that, and uh became a warrant officer and uh specializing in intelligence.
- 54:59So he was he was very accomplished, and uh everything he did, he he worked very hard, and I have massive respect for him in those roles and then worked briefly uh with the Central Intelligence Agency and their paramilitary organization, what's known as the ground branch, and then he went into politics and um changed his tune several times.
- 55:22Uh he does speak with incredible authority and and he's convincing and convicted in what he says, but he switched parties so many times from libertarian to Democrat to Republican, and you know, he's backed Trump before, uh, but now he's came out and resigned, saying he doesn't think that the war in Iran was an imminent threat.
- 55:46Um this is where he and I disagree.
- 55:50And both he and I understand the tale of the tape, the military history.
- 55:54That was my first bachelor's degree.
- 55:56I understand it in depth.
- 55:58I I saw it from when I was a young child that they are they capture our American citizens on their soil.
- 56:05They killed our U.S.
- 56:07Marines, hundreds of them in our barracks, sleeping in our barracks in Beirut, Lebanon.
- 56:12They attacked our embassy.
- 56:13This went on and on and on, and they used funding to conduct hundreds of attacks, especially after September or October 7th, 2021 against our forces in Iraq and in Syria and our ships at sea through the Houthis firing all these missiles.
- 56:29They didn't stop and they were aggressively doing it.
- 56:31And so for him, Joe Kent to say that there was no imminent threat, you have to be off your rocker.
- 56:38And that's all I have for this evening.
- 56:40God bless our troops fighting overseas right now.
- 56:42God protect them.
- 56:44God bless America.
