- 1:03Speaker 1: is an awesome one.
- 1:04Speaker 2: All right, guys, let's get into it today.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I want to kind of open up if you guys,
- 1:07Speaker 1: remember we just did a video on this over on
- 1:10Speaker 1: the Channel and it was basically Warren attacking Ripple, and
- 1:14Speaker 1: primarily it was Warren attacking through the occ and focusing
- 1:20Speaker 1: on Ripple. And I think there may have been something
- 1:23Speaker 1: going on because all of a sudden we get a
- 1:25Speaker 1: little bit of Warren moving into the market. And what
- 1:28Speaker 1: is next, Well, you get this which is an executive
- 1:31Speaker 1: order integrating financial technology innovation into regulatory frameworks.
- 1:36Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 1:36Speaker 1: Well, there was a lot of breakdown within this. What
- 1:39Speaker 1: it really boils down into and I'll kind of zoom
- 1:41Speaker 1: in on this article right here. Remember that granting a
- 1:45Speaker 1: FED Master account to crypto firms has been kind of
- 1:49Speaker 1: the big debate, right and this was the whole theme
- 1:52Speaker 1: around how the FED was trying to go to a
- 1:54Speaker 1: skinny account. I think this is now going to give
- 1:58Speaker 1: the crypto banks a full Master account based on this
- 2:02Speaker 1: new executive order.
- 2:04Speaker 2: If that is the.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Case, the banks have been fighting not hard enough because
- 2:09Speaker 1: this will definitely put a bullseye on the banks back
- 2:12Speaker 1: if in fact that is what's going on. I want
- 2:15Speaker 1: to go to a clip real quick, because this is
- 2:17Speaker 1: Cynthia Lummus that starts to get into the Clarity roadmap.
- 2:21Speaker 1: And remember, all of this is tied together, so listen
- 2:24Speaker 1: in Well.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Next, we're going to take the bill that we passed
- 2:29Speaker 3: in the Senate Banking Committee last week. We're going to
- 2:32Speaker 3: combine it with the bill that's already passed the agg
- 2:35Speaker 3: Committee on the Senate, which deals with the Commodity Futures
- 2:38Speaker 3: Trading Commission part of this subject. Then we're going to
- 2:42Speaker 3: wrap in some language about ethics as well as makes
- 2:46Speaker 3: some technical changes to the Genius Act. So then we're
- 2:50Speaker 3: going to put it all together and present it on
- 2:53Speaker 3: the Senate floor.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I read this week that the banks are still sort
- 2:59Speaker 2: of trying to put up a fight.
- 3:00Speaker 4: They're still trying to trip this thing up before you
- 3:02Speaker 4: get it over to finish line.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I get that sense too, all right, yeah, I get
- 3:09Speaker 1: this sense too.
- 3:10Speaker 2: For sure. We're continuing to see that.
- 3:12Speaker 1: What I don't understand is why our lawmakers are not
- 3:16Speaker 1: out there doing the hard work instead of writing scooters.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I guess on the back of Justice's scooter, is there
- 3:22Speaker 1: that much fun going on in DC that, you know,
- 3:25Speaker 1: working Americans can't take precedents over all of this. I
- 3:28Speaker 1: just don't agree with that kind of behavior when we're
- 3:31Speaker 1: sitting here really with one of the most critical components
- 3:35Speaker 1: in the history of crypto.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Looming right now.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Now, I want to go to another clip, and this
- 3:41Speaker 1: is getting into where banks are starting and attacking. Not starting,
- 3:46Speaker 1: They're continuing to attack Clarity take a look.
- 3:49Speaker 5: But the fight is just getting started, or so I'm told.
- 3:52Speaker 2: The trade group's repping.
- 3:53Speaker 5: Banks are now scared. The American Bankers Association claims this
- 3:57Speaker 5: built will drain cash deposits out of your local community banks,
- 4:02Speaker 5: but the chief policy officer for coinbase says that's total fiction.
- 4:06Speaker 6: We've seen ten years of a stable cooin adoption, community
- 4:10Speaker 6: bank deposits that are completely unaffected by it.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Maryland Democrat Angela also Brooks broke rank. By the way
- 4:16Speaker 5: to vote yes.
- 4:17Speaker 2: We still have a lot of work to do.
- 4:19Speaker 5: Nobody is popping the champagne quite yet.
- 4:21Speaker 3: It's going to take at least three weeks and maybe more.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I would love to have this bill on the floor
- 4:29Speaker 3: in June that's probably pretty optimistic.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Probably pretty optimistic. That kind of statement right there is
- 4:38Speaker 1: what crashed the odds over on the Clarityact getting signed
- 4:42Speaker 1: into law in twenty twenty six, on poly market dropping
- 4:45Speaker 1: down to fifty six percent. Remember this week we were
- 4:48Speaker 1: as high as seventy percent. All of a sudden we
- 4:50Speaker 1: have crashed down to fifty six after. What we're dealing
- 4:54Speaker 1: with right now is this extended issue with not only
- 4:58Speaker 1: the banks coming at us hard, but also just the
- 5:00Speaker 1: lawmakers starting to put a little bit of a.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Pause on this.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on in DC or why
- 5:05Speaker 1: there's a situations brewing right now. Are there backroom deals
- 5:09Speaker 1: being made with the banks around all of this? That's
- 5:13Speaker 1: the concern I have. And remember we are going to
- 5:16Speaker 1: need every single vote to get this across the line,
- 5:20Speaker 1: especially in the Senate. One thing that nobody is talking
- 5:23Speaker 1: about right now, especially around Clarity.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Is this race right here.
- 5:27Speaker 1: And this is the race with Thomas Massey, who has
- 5:30Speaker 1: been ousted of his position, And of course this gets
- 5:34Speaker 1: into very intriguing situations. If you look at Massey's performance
- 5:39Speaker 1: on crypto, he has pretty much been an advocate across
- 5:42Speaker 1: all of our crypto related agendas, and this is one
- 5:47Speaker 1: that now will be out. Now does he go out
- 5:50Speaker 1: before the crypto vote itself?
- 5:52Speaker 2: Who knows.
- 5:53Speaker 1: That's the question right now of whether or not he'll
- 5:55Speaker 1: be involved in clarity, because remember clarity. If he gets
- 5:58Speaker 1: moved in later in the year, also the things could happen,
- 6:01Speaker 1: especially if this moves into the next cycle. Let me
- 6:04Speaker 1: go to another clip here because this will get into
- 6:06Speaker 1: a little bit more detail around Massey and his concession speech.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Look it up.
- 6:11Speaker 4: They said you'll own nothing and be happy about it.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You want to do that?
- 6:20Speaker 4: They were saying, Oh my goodness, you know we're ready
- 6:23Speaker 4: for war. There's about this. We're about to restart this war.
- 6:26Speaker 4: We were supposed to restart this war today. But we
- 6:28Speaker 4: can't restart this war today. Then, like it occurred to me,
- 6:32Speaker 4: where was the secretary of war yesterday? He was here. Listen,
- 6:37Speaker 4: they sent the secretary of war here, and you stopped
- 6:40Speaker 4: the war for a day.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Knock that off. You're gonna make me feel good about losing.
- 6:51Speaker 4: I got seven months left in Congress, so let's take it.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Let's break this down a little it. First of all,
- 6:59Speaker 2: we've got Massy now.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Seven months is his vote now in question on the
- 7:05Speaker 1: Clarity Act, does he start to want something so big
- 7:09Speaker 1: from the administration that we get into a situation where
- 7:13Speaker 1: it could even delay Clarity even further. Remember who endorsed
- 7:18Speaker 1: the candidate.
- 7:19Speaker 2: That beat him.
- 7:20Speaker 1: This is Ed Gallerin or Gallerin. This is the US
- 7:24Speaker 1: Chamber which has been behind this. Now there are a
- 7:27Speaker 1: lot of people that correlate the US Chamber to the
- 7:31Speaker 1: banking industry. Primarily you look at this right here. That's
- 7:35Speaker 1: JP Morgan Chase right there, US Chamber. These are all
- 7:39Speaker 1: There's an American Bankers Association. These are all part of
- 7:43Speaker 1: what they are involved in right now. So they are
- 7:46Speaker 1: supporting the lobby groups who are out there getting these
- 7:49Speaker 1: candidates into power. Further into that, here's the trade associations
- 7:54Speaker 1: for guess who b of a right there? American Bankers
- 7:58Speaker 1: Association right down there, guess what US Chamber of Commerce again,
- 8:03Speaker 1: So coming in from the banks almost through a back
- 8:06Speaker 1: door here of supporting and trying to take out a
- 8:09Speaker 1: lot of the proponents of what has been really I
- 8:13Speaker 1: think the strength of where crypto is going and that
- 8:15Speaker 1: is getting some of these Republicans really locked in and
- 8:18Speaker 1: maybe even influencing some of the Democrats. This starts to
- 8:21Speaker 1: change the dynamic of how this administration is maybe even
- 8:26Speaker 1: looking at crypto and just remember that all of this
- 8:29Speaker 1: chaos that was going on during this race actually pulled
- 8:31Speaker 1: heccess away from the situation in Iran, which is a
- 8:34Speaker 1: good thing. But at the same time, all of this
- 8:37Speaker 1: chaos that has been going on overall has been really
- 8:41Speaker 1: drilling down into what I think actually maybe the real
- 8:45Speaker 1: supporter of the new financial system, and that's in reference
- 8:50Speaker 1: to gold. And you look at some of the things
- 8:53Speaker 1: that have been happening over the last year and a half.
- 8:56Speaker 1: All right, one of the biggest issues is the bitcoin
- 8:59Speaker 1: verse gold debate.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Well, there's no debate here.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Since Trump took office his second term back in January
- 9:08Speaker 1: of twenty twenty five, that's where gold has gone from
- 9:11Speaker 1: twenty six hundred announce it is now trading at forty
- 9:14Speaker 1: five hundred. That's a sixty eight percent increase, Bitcoin down
- 9:19Speaker 1: twenty four percent.
- 9:20Speaker 2: So is Trump really a digital asset guy or is
- 9:24Speaker 2: he really.
- 9:25Speaker 1: A secret gold bug From all of the supporters that
- 9:29Speaker 1: have been going after this, I don't know. Let me
- 9:32Speaker 1: know what you guys think down in the comments. I
- 9:35Speaker 1: want to go to a clip though, because this is
- 9:37Speaker 1: kind of interesting, this is the World Gold Council CEO
- 9:41Speaker 1: talking about bitcoin.
- 9:42Speaker 7: Take a look a moment when the Liberation Day was announced,
- 9:48Speaker 7: there was a ripple through the market. I've lost loss
- 9:51Speaker 7: of trust in the US. Do a loss of trust
- 9:53Speaker 7: in the US as an institution? So does a physically
- 9:56Speaker 7: backed product appear attractive in snow areas like that? Absolutely?
- 10:02Speaker 7: You've noticed in most of the crisis that bitcoin is
- 10:05Speaker 7: a very correlated with risk assets in general. I don't
- 10:10Speaker 7: think it meant to be that way. Yet, why are
- 10:13Speaker 7: you here at a crypto conference exactly? Well, we're trying
- 10:17Speaker 7: to address the situation as to why don't gold crypto assets,
- 10:21Speaker 7: gold stable coins, gold tokens, Why have they been a disaster,
- 10:25Speaker 7: Why have they not worked? They haven't worked? And why
- 10:28Speaker 7: is that? And you will have seen the paxos as
- 10:30Speaker 7: the tethers, the JP morgans, the hsbcs have all got
- 10:33Speaker 7: their own little silos, but they're essentially don't communicate, they
- 10:37Speaker 7: don't function. What we're going to create is this platform,
- 10:40Speaker 7: and we are creating it with our own money, redemption tokens,
- 10:43Speaker 7: collateralized tokens, lending tokens, anything. But it will back into
- 10:47Speaker 7: a gold market, standardized, non complex, one single price, simple, cheap,
- 10:52Speaker 7: low capital such that it'll be on a par with
- 10:55Speaker 7: other asset classes, a crypto use and that's why we're here,
- 11:00Speaker 7: going to be doing it during the course of the year.
- 11:01Speaker 7: We should have a proof of concept produced by the
- 11:04Speaker 7: end of this Year's ambitious, but we should have it done.
- 11:06Speaker 7: And we're trying to invite this community to come and
- 11:09Speaker 7: play with us and use this platform to build products.
- 11:12Speaker 1: What would persuade you to change your mind on the
- 11:15Speaker 1: bitcoin to zero view?
- 11:19Speaker 7: It's I don't know. I don't know, really, I don't
- 11:25Speaker 7: know if there reason was it?
- 11:27Speaker 2: Wow?
- 11:27Speaker 6: Wow?
- 11:28Speaker 3: Ouch?
- 11:30Speaker 1: All right, So that was the World Gold Council, And
- 11:32Speaker 1: as you can see, there's really no interest in bitcoin,
- 11:36Speaker 1: even if you look at you know, projects that they
- 11:38Speaker 1: tried to integrate years ago, almost over a decade ago.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And this was back in July twenty fourteen where Ripple
- 11:45Speaker 1: was allowing the GBI integration. So I think they're interested
- 11:49Speaker 1: in blockchain and when you consider that, the opportunity will
- 11:53Speaker 1: boil down to a very specific chain that I'll reveal
- 11:56Speaker 1: in a second. All right, So let me go to
- 11:57Speaker 1: a clip here, because remember the challenges that they have
- 12:01Speaker 1: faced has been really around interoperability to other packs. As
- 12:04Speaker 1: they've been able to achieve that. That's why we're continuing
- 12:07Speaker 1: to see digital goal work.
- 12:08Speaker 2: There.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Here is one of the members of the Gold Council
- 12:12Speaker 1: actually addressing this.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 12:14Speaker 6: So I've been playing around with this for a while,
- 12:16Speaker 6: so my question is coming from a mixed experience. The
- 12:20Speaker 6: question really is interoperability downstream, all the way through the
- 12:23Speaker 6: supply chain eventually towards the consumer. That turned out to
- 12:28Speaker 6: be a gigantic stumbling block for our program. So I'm
- 12:32Speaker 6: sure you guys fixed it.
- 12:33Speaker 8: But I think the point on interoperability is crucial because
- 12:38Speaker 8: if we can agree on a common language, then getting
- 12:41Speaker 8: those systems to speak to get to each other is
- 12:44Speaker 8: much easier. But at the moment, there's just not enough
- 12:47Speaker 8: of clarity. But would really welcome some more feedback from you.
- 12:50Speaker 6: Mark, very happy to share all the experiences from a
- 12:53Speaker 6: small supplier to large supplier, to manufacturer to retailer. It's
- 12:58Speaker 6: been quite an interesting conversation.
- 13:02Speaker 1: All right, man, Spicy take right there of their own
- 13:06Speaker 1: members being somewhat facetious about this sarcastic in essence around
- 13:10Speaker 1: the idea of interoperability. If you look at tokenized commodities
- 13:15Speaker 1: right now, listen, guys, it's pretty much a slam dunk.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You can see Eth is winning all the way. It
- 13:21Speaker 1: is not even a race right now. And I think
- 13:24Speaker 1: this is the thing that goldbugs are going to start
- 13:27Speaker 1: to realize. I think eventually all of this is going
- 13:29Speaker 1: to be moving onto ETH, and it's really only one
- 13:32Speaker 1: step away. Let's think about where bitcoin and where gold
- 13:36Speaker 1: is and try to find the common ground, which I
- 13:38Speaker 1: think the common ground has boiled around ETH and what
- 13:41Speaker 1: Michael Sailor is doing with Stretch if you look at
- 13:44Speaker 1: a little bit of his situation, and this is an
- 13:46Speaker 1: example of what I'm talking about. We put out a
- 13:49Speaker 1: video right there. It was talking about apex and if
- 13:54Speaker 1: you guys didn't see it, go back and watch it.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Sailor retweeted this mainly because we're talking about this being
- 13:59Speaker 1: an opportunity. There is no second base based on the
- 14:02Speaker 1: way they're building it right now. That of course gets
- 14:05Speaker 1: into one thing. Ethereum continues to bridge the gap here
- 14:08Speaker 1: between bitcoin and gold. It's going to be the future
- 14:11Speaker 1: when it comes to tokenized commodities and also some of
- 14:14Speaker 1: these other assets out there. Let's take a look also,
- 14:18Speaker 1: because what does this market look like if they were
- 14:21Speaker 1: to make this leap. So when you look at all
- 14:23Speaker 1: these gold producers right here, and this is showing productive minds,
- 14:28Speaker 1: you can kind of see this is going to open
- 14:30Speaker 1: up all of these potential suppliers into the blockchain. We
- 14:35Speaker 1: know where commodities are heading, and that, of course, guys,
- 14:39Speaker 1: is ethereum. So we're going to keep a close eye
- 14:42Speaker 1: on this because all of this is definitely connected to clarity.
- 14:45Speaker 1: All of this is connected to this next evolution of
- 14:48Speaker 1: financial assets, which Trump seems to be behind.
- 14:52Speaker 2: But the question is which horse is he in the
- 14:55Speaker 2: race with.
