- 1:29Speaker 4: It's a podcast called twenty five.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Whistles, twenty line blow Whistle. Thank you Darryl Johnston moose
- 1:39Speaker 1: oooz coming up?
- 1:41Speaker 3: This a little bit. That's amazing.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I only got them for you.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Is this dude? I mean, that's so cool. He was
- 1:46Speaker 3: so awesome back in the nineties.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Every time I see a cowboy guest coming on the calendar,
- 1:49Speaker 5: I'm like, is this ready?
- 1:51Speaker 1: It literally is. There are some guests offered up, and
- 1:53Speaker 1: I thought, if we're gonna talk, we want to talk
- 1:57Speaker 1: to somebody we're interested in. And some of them were
- 1:59Speaker 1: just like former players. That's all cool, But like Daryl
- 2:01Speaker 1: Johnson's been of the Super Bowl. He's also a cowboy.
- 2:04Speaker 1: He's also a commentator. You know, he's also an executive
- 2:08Speaker 1: at the UFL, which is starting right when the NFL's over.
- 2:10Speaker 3: He was a great commentator.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yeah, super smart.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Like weirdly because you think like football players, like, come on.
- 2:16Speaker 1: You think big dumb pull back. Yeah, but he's yeah,
- 2:19Speaker 1: you're still good guy. That's coming up in just a
- 2:21Speaker 1: few minutes. All right around the room, Eddie, what do
- 2:23Speaker 1: you have?
- 2:24Speaker 3: So you know, we're going to the super Bowl, And
- 2:26Speaker 3: obviously I told my kids and they're super excited. They're like, Dad,
- 2:28Speaker 3: we cannot believe you're going to the super Bowl. Then
- 2:30Speaker 3: I told him like, hey, you know, we're doing like
- 2:32Speaker 3: a bunch of interviews too, so we're gonna hang out
- 2:34Speaker 3: with Emmett and Dion and Nicocollins. And so the question
- 2:39Speaker 3: came up, Dad, like could you get a couple of
- 2:42Speaker 3: things signed for us? Like they have EMMITTT. Smith cards,
- 2:46Speaker 3: Dallas Cowboys football and stuff like that. And I was like,
- 2:48Speaker 3: you know, it's not really our thing. That's Read's thing, mostly.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Is I said.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I said, I'd ask, and I pretty much know the answer.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I think, yeah, the answer is no, we can't be
- 3:00Speaker 1: the adults. They're working asking the players to sign stuff.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Mister Smith, we signed this. If you had a kid,
- 3:06Speaker 1: that's fine.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Okay, so I take my kids with me.
- 3:09Speaker 1: You don't want to be those people for the most part,
- 3:12Speaker 1: because then if we do it again next year, it's like,
- 3:13Speaker 1: who are they gonna avoid the autograph weirdos? Yeah, I
- 3:18Speaker 1: mean like if it's part of a bit, but yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 1: if you're just like bringing merch, just probably like like
- 3:23Speaker 1: fake signed some stuff.
- 3:24Speaker 3: They were dead serious, like like I mean honestly, like
- 3:27Speaker 3: do you think I can just go up to em
- 3:28Speaker 3: and be like, hey man, this is for my kids?
- 3:30Speaker 3: Signed four of these.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I think you could not where we're gonna be broadcasting,
- 3:33Speaker 1: But if you see them out somewhere else and you're
- 3:35Speaker 1: not with us, you could You're just a weird adult.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Oh you just can't as like part of this operation
- 3:40Speaker 1: unless you're read coach Musk, will you signed my hat?
- 3:43Speaker 6: And we're like too much access is more intimate though,
- 3:46Speaker 6: you know, because we're like it's just it's just us
- 3:48Speaker 6: and them versus like being an NFL thing. You know,
- 3:51Speaker 6: what are you talking about, like asking for autographs like
- 3:54Speaker 6: when we do it with.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Too much, So you're saying you're giving an excuse for yours. Yeah,
- 3:58Speaker 1: oh no, it was till.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Extremely that was so awkward. It was so awkward.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It was like and coach Musselman's yeah office and read
- 4:05Speaker 1: like pulls the hat out of his bag, will you
- 4:07Speaker 1: sign this? And we weren't even like leaving, like that
- 4:11Speaker 1: should be the first of all, he was already signing something,
- 4:15Speaker 1: but if it should be the very very last thing,
- 4:18Speaker 1: so you don't have to like have them sign something.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Hang out, I haven't done it again, you know, I
- 4:21Speaker 1: learned my liston Yeah, a.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Year later, you're still getting crapped for That's probably why.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Yeah, so I would go no as part of this battery.
- 4:29Speaker 1: But if you see them at Chili's.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Right, then I can have them sign all the cars.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Daddy they walk out. But the whole thing, Kevin, what
- 4:36Speaker 1: do you have?
- 4:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I got a question for you. At what point
- 4:40Speaker 5: do we just get rid of the Pro Bowl? Because listen,
- 4:42Speaker 5: love Drake May love my Patriots, but this week he
- 4:46Speaker 5: was named to.
- 4:46Speaker 7: The Pro Bowl.
- 4:47Speaker 5: And I'm like, really, Drake May to the Pro Bowl?
- 4:51Speaker 5: And Mac Jones did this couple of years ago, and
- 4:52Speaker 5: I'm like, really, Mac Jones and.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I get it.
- 4:54Speaker 5: All these quarterbacks opt out Josh Allen and Lamar They're like,
- 4:57Speaker 5: I don't need that. I'm not going to go, So
- 4:58Speaker 5: they got to plug somebody in. But it's like, at
- 5:03Speaker 5: what point do we to say, you know what, guys,
- 5:04Speaker 5: I'm good. I don't think we really need to do
- 5:06Speaker 5: the Pro Bowl anymore.
- 5:07Speaker 1: They just need bodies for the Tug of War.
- 5:10Speaker 3: That's a fun event.
- 5:11Speaker 1: So now you know, they don't play the game anymore obviously,
- 5:13Speaker 1: so it's all just show up and do field day,
- 5:15Speaker 1: every field day back and once. Yeah, that's basically what
- 5:19Speaker 1: they're doing down there, and they just need warm bodies
- 5:22Speaker 1: and so it's next one up. And the players love
- 5:25Speaker 1: it because sometimes that's an incentive in their contract. So
- 5:29Speaker 1: if you're Drake Mayl, you're probably also going, you know what,
- 5:32Speaker 1: I probably don't deserve to go to the Pro Bowl
- 5:34Speaker 1: if it's like the first three quarterbacks, but in your
- 5:37Speaker 1: contract Pro Bowl instead of three hundred thousand dollars. Of
- 5:40Speaker 1: course you're not a Pro Bowl quarterback.
- 5:42Speaker 5: I get that part of it. But it's like we
- 5:44Speaker 5: can always just say, hey, they made the Pro Bowl,
- 5:46Speaker 5: so you can put it on their resume or whatever.
- 5:48Speaker 1: The Pro Bowl is just a weird thing. Anyway, it's
- 5:50Speaker 1: at a bad time because everything Look at basketball and
- 5:52Speaker 1: look at baseball midseason. You can't really do that with football.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Could you let people get hurt? If you're playing the game,
- 5:58Speaker 1: it's just a different animal. It just should be an
- 6:00Speaker 1: awards banquet.
- 6:01Speaker 3: That's literally the only break NFL has, right because there's
- 6:04Speaker 3: no break in the middle of the season, and then
- 6:06Speaker 3: they just have this one week before the Super Bowl
- 6:08Speaker 3: and they're like, there you go.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of the end of the season. Yeah,
- 6:12Speaker 1: where again baseball and basketball, if you're an All Star,
- 6:14Speaker 1: you play and then you go back, right, we're NFL.
- 6:17Speaker 1: It's over. Everybody wants to go on their vacations. They're
- 6:20Speaker 1: out of the playoffs. Yeah, last thing they want to
- 6:22Speaker 1: go do is go do hopscotch competition.
- 6:25Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 6:25Speaker 5: I feel like unless you have like a sponsorship that
- 6:27Speaker 5: you're going there for and getting paid more, that's about it.
- 6:29Speaker 5: But I mean, he had fifteen touchdowns and ten interceptions
- 6:32Speaker 5: this year, and it's.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Like, yeah, Pro Bowl.
- 6:35Speaker 7: Pretty good.
- 6:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 5: I love Drake. He'll make plenty of Pro Bowls, don't
- 6:38Speaker 5: get me wrong, But this year I was like kind of,
- 6:40Speaker 5: all right.
- 6:42Speaker 1: We're thinking about the super Bowl and we've had parties
- 6:44Speaker 1: at our house. We're not this year because we're gonna
- 6:45Speaker 1: be there. You guys like to have super Bowl parties
- 6:48Speaker 1: now or have you grown out of them? Would you
- 6:49Speaker 1: rather go have one or not at all? Eddie?
- 6:53Speaker 3: I mean it's different for me right because like I
- 6:55Speaker 3: have four kids now. Now it's like an experience for them.
- 6:58Speaker 3: It's not for me. Back in the day. It's like
- 7:00Speaker 3: we're gonna go to a party, They're gonna have a
- 7:01Speaker 3: bunch of beer. We're gonna get drunk, and then next
- 7:03Speaker 3: thing into the game zone where it's nine o'clock and
- 7:05Speaker 3: you're like, dang, dude, it's like, I'm it's Sunday, I
- 7:07Speaker 3: got work in the morning. I feel terrible. That's not
- 7:09Speaker 3: my life anymore. Now it's like, all right, the kids
- 7:11Speaker 3: are there, we have all their we tell them to
- 7:13Speaker 3: invite their friends, and then their parents come over and
- 7:16Speaker 3: then we do bingo cars.
- 7:17Speaker 1: The kids super Bowl party.
- 7:18Speaker 3: It's totally just a family friendly super Bowl party, which
- 7:20Speaker 3: I love.
- 7:21Speaker 7: Dude.
- 7:21Speaker 3: It's a lot of fun. We're not doing it this year,
- 7:23Speaker 3: not because I'm gonna be at the super Bowl. Baby,
- 7:25Speaker 3: that's amazing.
- 7:26Speaker 1: What about you?
- 7:27Speaker 5: No, kids yet, No kids yet. I'd rather go to
- 7:30Speaker 5: somebody's house, but nothing crazy. I don't need a crazy party.
- 7:33Speaker 5: I would almost even just rather sit at my place
- 7:35Speaker 5: with my fiance and watch it, just like any other
- 7:37Speaker 5: big Sunday football game, so I can focus, especially if
- 7:40Speaker 5: it's the team I really care about. So i'd rather
- 7:42Speaker 5: go somewhere.
- 7:44Speaker 1: If I were to choose, I think i'd rather do nothing.
- 7:46Speaker 1: It's just what I've done the last couple of years. Yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 1: just watch it, order the food that I want. And
- 7:51Speaker 1: if you're gonna order food from a delivery service, you
- 7:53Speaker 1: have to order way ahead. It's almost like Valentine's Day.
- 7:55Speaker 1: If you're not already thinking about what you're gonna do
- 7:57Speaker 1: right now, that's coming up, yeah today, this will be
- 8:01Speaker 1: on the thirty first. If you're not already thinking about
- 8:03Speaker 1: it right now, you're not gonna get anything good.
- 8:05Speaker 6: Kevin already forgot yeah two weeks.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And not that it's the most important or not that
- 8:11Speaker 1: it you have to, but it's the same with food
- 8:14Speaker 1: on Super Bowl Night unless you're going to the grocery store,
- 8:16Speaker 1: Like if you try to order barbecue or something, they're
- 8:17Speaker 1: backed up forever, so you got to get ahead. Of
- 8:19Speaker 1: that game. Pizza.
- 8:20Speaker 5: What's your favorite Super Bowl food?
- 8:22Speaker 7: Then to order?
- 8:23Speaker 5: If you could order one thing.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Pizza is just easiest.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that just goes with the territory. You
- 8:28Speaker 3: gotta have pizza that.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I just try to talk myself out of eating anything
- 8:30Speaker 1: bad at the beginning of the game because if I
- 8:32Speaker 1: do that, I'm through it. It's like the movies. If
- 8:34Speaker 1: I get a bunch of crap, I eat it before
- 8:36Speaker 1: the movie even starts. It's like Goyet candy popcorn before
- 8:40Speaker 1: the movie's finally coming on. I'm I'm full and blows.
- 8:44Speaker 7: So.
- 8:45Speaker 1: But yes, as of now, our crew, we are going
- 8:48Speaker 1: to the super Bowl, all of us, we're all going there.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I didn't say going in. But so far the person
- 8:53Speaker 1: who does not have a ticket, it's Kevin or read.
- 8:59Speaker 1: So I do have another game today that we're gonna play.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Let's go, and so this is just going to be
- 9:05Speaker 1: because the loser is out. You do not have a ticket,
- 9:08Speaker 1: you are going you have to work. It's gonna be
- 9:10Speaker 1: awesome because we're gonna have fun. Meaning it's a couple
- 9:12Speaker 1: of days of interviewing great players. And but the loser
- 9:16Speaker 1: is not going to have a ticket to get in
- 9:18Speaker 1: the game. And I looked at resale right now, they're
- 9:20Speaker 1: like six thousand dollars. So and I'm not I'm not
- 9:24Speaker 1: paying for that.
- 9:26Speaker 6: You were leaning into that like guess what, guys.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna ask good because you won't like my answer.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So we're gonna do one game of the three today
- 9:39Speaker 1: and on Monday we'll we'll wrap it up.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Wait, oh man, it's even prolonged.
- 9:44Speaker 3: So it's not it's not based on one game, it's
- 9:46Speaker 3: based on three games.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I don't want the person who loses today to be
- 9:51Speaker 1: out of it going into the weekend of Casey, would
- 9:55Speaker 1: you mind going to my office and grabbing that game?
- 9:56Speaker 1: Bring it in here? So in my office I have
- 9:59Speaker 1: the game Operation.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Oh dude, that game is so hard.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Do you drink coffee this morning? Yeah? I haven't had coffee,
- 10:06Speaker 1: so good or bad? Good?
- 10:08Speaker 6: I'm not as shaky.
- 10:09Speaker 3: That's good.
- 10:10Speaker 1: So we're gonna put Operation down on the table.
- 10:14Speaker 3: This is the one where you have to you're a
- 10:16Speaker 3: doctor and you have to pinch the little stuff out
- 10:18Speaker 3: of there, and if you touch the edge, it shots.
- 10:21Speaker 7: Ye.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yes, what just happened to you? Shock yourself? No?
- 10:25Speaker 5: No, no, I'm like shaking my hands getting them ready, got it,
- 10:28Speaker 5: my wrists loose.
- 10:29Speaker 1: So we will be playing Operation coming up in a
- 10:31Speaker 1: few minutes. This is awesome, and someone.
- 10:33Speaker 5: Will go down a point, so it's best of three.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Yes, and this is just game one. I got it.
- 10:39Speaker 7: Well.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Also, Mike, if you could turn that microphone on over here,
- 10:41Speaker 1: I want to hear because Operation has gotten a little quieter.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Oh really doesn't It does, but not near as loud?
- 10:47Speaker 1: Is that Mike on? Casey?
- 10:49Speaker 7: It is?
- 10:49Speaker 1: Okay, so it's more of a vibright now. Yeah. Yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 1: So as they play, they're also work have a judge
- 10:57Speaker 1: standing boy to make sure the nose doesn't light up,
- 11:00Speaker 1: so that youb running cameras. Casey, you'll probably be the
- 11:03Speaker 1: judge in reading, Kevin, I'm not even sure. Do you
- 11:06Speaker 1: get other cards?
- 11:07Speaker 6: Do you draw a car and it tells you which
- 11:09Speaker 6: one you have to go for?
- 11:10Speaker 1: Okay?
- 11:11Speaker 3: So Operation coming up, and there are some body parts
- 11:15Speaker 3: that are easier to get than others.
- 11:17Speaker 6: I think, oh yeah, you don't want that wishbone, man,
- 11:20Speaker 6: I got to.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Read the rules here, Okay for the most part. Okay,
- 11:23Speaker 1: do you have a commercial? We're good, We're goodod okay, yeah,
- 11:27Speaker 1: all right, let's take a break. We'll come back with
- 11:29Speaker 1: Daryl Johnston, and then we will play operation. All DraftKings

- 12:38Speaker 1: let's go over to three times Super Bowl champion Darryl
- 12:41Speaker 1: Johnston aka Moose. He is now the executive VP of
- 12:44Speaker 1: Football Operations for the UFL. So we talk about that,
- 12:47Speaker 1: we talk about the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl,
- 12:49Speaker 1: a few other things. Obviously a bunch of Cowboys fans
- 12:52Speaker 1: on this show, so let's talk here. He is Darryl Johnston,
- 12:56Speaker 1: if I'm correct, If three rings, where do you keep
- 12:58Speaker 1: the rings? How often do you flex them for your friends?
- 13:00Speaker 7: They're tucked away. I don't wear them a lot. I don't.
- 13:03Speaker 8: I even forgot to have it on yesterday, which you know,
- 13:05Speaker 8: I'm halfway out to Arlington.
- 13:07Speaker 7: And I'm like, oh my god.
- 13:08Speaker 8: You know one of those occasions where you really like
- 13:10Speaker 8: to have that Super Bowl ring on your finger, and
- 13:12Speaker 8: I left it.
- 13:13Speaker 7: I left it at home in the safe.
- 13:15Speaker 1: So if like cousins are coming over, do you pull
- 13:18Speaker 1: them out because they know, you know, they're going to
- 13:19Speaker 1: want ask to see them, right.
- 13:20Speaker 7: The Super Bowl ring. Believe it or not.
- 13:24Speaker 8: One of the cool things that Jerry Jones did for
- 13:26Speaker 8: us was he gave us replica Super Bowl trophies, so
- 13:30Speaker 8: the one that everybody wants to see because those.
- 13:32Speaker 7: Are out on display in my office.
- 13:35Speaker 8: So when when people come over and they see that,
- 13:37Speaker 8: they always want a picture taken with the replica Lombardi trophies.
- 13:41Speaker 8: So that probably gets a little bit more attention than
- 13:44Speaker 8: the ring. Believe it or not. But yeah, once they
- 13:46Speaker 8: see the trophy, then they ask about the rings, So
- 13:49Speaker 8: get the picture with both of them.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Before you played ball of Syracuse and you're in high school,
- 13:53Speaker 1: were you like the ultimate athlete? Did you play every position?
- 13:56Speaker 7: Yeah? High school was fun.
- 13:58Speaker 8: Small high school, Gosh, I was to think about our
- 14:01Speaker 8: total roster. We had twenty seven guys you know total
- 14:05Speaker 8: on our roster, and with that, you know, we had
- 14:08Speaker 8: you know, probably you know the significant amount of those
- 14:12Speaker 8: twenty seven were playing both ways offensively and defensively, So,
- 14:15Speaker 8: you know, being from a small town and and and
- 14:17Speaker 8: being on a you know, kind of that that small
- 14:19Speaker 8: stage of football. I was a running back I was
- 14:24Speaker 8: a outside linebacker. I punted, I kicked so but that
- 14:30Speaker 8: was all because of you know, growing up as a kid,
- 14:32Speaker 8: the punt passing kick competitions. You know, I competed in
- 14:35Speaker 8: those and I actually made it all the way down
- 14:37Speaker 8: uh to the AFC finals one year, so I was one.
- 14:40Speaker 8: I was one went away from going to the Super
- 14:42Speaker 8: Bowl and probably had the worst punt I have ever
- 14:45Speaker 8: done in my entire life.
- 14:46Speaker 7: How long was it the beg the Almodome?
- 14:50Speaker 8: When when they when they went all the way out
- 14:52Speaker 8: and then they started bringing it back along the straight line,
- 14:55Speaker 8: it was creeping closer and closer towards me.
- 14:57Speaker 7: I think it probably netted about twenty five yards.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it's about max for me though. Yeah, that had
- 15:02Speaker 1: been my total. So in college, when did it start
- 15:06Speaker 1: to transition? Like your role because you ran the ball,
- 15:09Speaker 1: but then at some point obviously they knew you could
- 15:11Speaker 1: block and play the fullback position. When did that start
- 15:13Speaker 1: to fill for you?
- 15:15Speaker 8: The big thing for me in Syracuse was we were
- 15:17Speaker 8: an option based offense. So you know, the fullback is
- 15:20Speaker 8: going to get the first read on everything. So we ran,
- 15:23Speaker 8: we ran, so we ran a number of different ways
- 15:25Speaker 8: to do the option and then part of that was
- 15:29Speaker 8: also some of the power game that you see in
- 15:30Speaker 8: today's NFL, you know, the pinn and polls and things
- 15:33Speaker 8: like that.
- 15:33Speaker 7: So we were very versatile.
- 15:35Speaker 8: So you know, for me as a full back, it
- 15:38Speaker 8: allowed me, you know, to show my ability as a
- 15:40Speaker 8: ball carrier, to show my ability as a blocker, even
- 15:43Speaker 8: as a pass receiver. Not a whole lot, but you know,
- 15:46Speaker 8: you know, a few opportunities there. So it was funny
- 15:50Speaker 8: when I came to Dallas and became the full back
- 15:53Speaker 8: in that offense and there's not really a lot of
- 15:55Speaker 8: opportunity to carry the football. And you know, people kind
- 15:58Speaker 8: of look back at some of my college stats and
- 16:00Speaker 8: they didn't realize, you know, that I had over one
- 16:02Speaker 8: hundred carries, you know, every season.
- 16:04Speaker 7: You know, I was a starter at Syracuse.
- 16:06Speaker 8: So when when I left Syracuse University, I was I
- 16:09Speaker 8: was in the top ten rushing of all time. And
- 16:12Speaker 8: I mean that's Jim Brown, Floyd Little, you know, Larry Zonka,
- 16:17Speaker 8: and you know I was kind of hanging in there
- 16:18Speaker 8: with them.
- 16:19Speaker 7: I'm not in there anymore.
- 16:20Speaker 8: But but when I graduated in nineteen eighty nine, I was,
- 16:22Speaker 8: I was in the top ten in.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Rushing these guys, now, before the Super Bowl they have
- 16:26Speaker 1: two weeks when you were playing, did they have the
- 16:28Speaker 1: two week gap or was it just a one week gap.
- 16:30Speaker 7: We actually had both.
- 16:31Speaker 8: We had a two week gap and then we also
- 16:33Speaker 8: had in our second Super Bowl in Atlanta, we had
- 16:35Speaker 8: a one week gap and that was actually the game,
- 16:39Speaker 8: the championship game, Troy got a concussion, so that was
- 16:42Speaker 8: that was very challenging.
- 16:43Speaker 7: That was a quick turnaround.
- 16:46Speaker 8: The two weeks would have been huge for us that year,
- 16:48Speaker 8: but we were on that one week schedule that season.
- 16:52Speaker 8: And if you go back and watch that game, that's
- 16:54Speaker 8: that's why you know, Emmon Smith was the MVP in
- 16:56Speaker 8: that game. We really leaned heavily, you know on the
- 16:59Speaker 8: run game, you know, to make sure that Troy was
- 17:01Speaker 8: okay in the pocket, was going to be able to
- 17:03Speaker 8: finish that game and didn't take any unnecessary hits.
- 17:05Speaker 1: So then my assumption is you like the two week
- 17:07Speaker 1: better than the one to give ver Bad a chance
- 17:08Speaker 1: to rest and get healthy.
- 17:10Speaker 7: Well, rest and get healthy, and then logistically how much
- 17:13Speaker 7: you have to do.
- 17:15Speaker 8: You know, when you have the two weeks, you win
- 17:17Speaker 8: the championship game, you get your ticket allotment, you find
- 17:20Speaker 8: out what all that is.
- 17:21Speaker 7: You can start to work on bringing family and friends
- 17:23Speaker 7: to the game.
- 17:24Speaker 8: You know that that gives them the opportunity to coordinate flights, hotels.
- 17:28Speaker 8: There are so many things that go on besides the
- 17:31Speaker 8: game in that short week that that made it really
- 17:35Speaker 8: really challenging, and it was very different back then. You know,
- 17:38Speaker 8: Tuesday was media Day and both teams kind of alternated,
- 17:41Speaker 8: you know, during the course of Tuesday, so your arrival
- 17:45Speaker 8: day was Monday. You just played the game Sunday. I
- 17:48Speaker 8: think we were actually late that year, so we were
- 17:52Speaker 8: the second game on Championship Sunday, so you're you're getting
- 17:55Speaker 8: a late start, really no time to celebrate. I mean
- 17:58Speaker 8: you're going right into planning mode, and then you're on
- 18:01Speaker 8: a flight, you know, the next morning to head down
- 18:04Speaker 8: to the host city, you know, to get in, get settled,
- 18:06Speaker 8: and boom you hit the ground running on Tuesday. So
- 18:10Speaker 8: the one week was was really challenging and from virtually
- 18:14Speaker 8: every perspective you can think of, and I'm sure it
- 18:17Speaker 8: was challenging for the NFL as well, you know, kind
- 18:20Speaker 8: of getting all those assets you know, off of the
- 18:22Speaker 8: Championship locations down into the host city that was being prepped.
- 18:27Speaker 8: So yeah, I'm glad they've moved to that two week
- 18:30Speaker 8: window and really made that kind of the staple now
- 18:33Speaker 8: because having done them both ways, I would never wish
- 18:37Speaker 8: upon anybody, you know, that that one week timeframe, especially
- 18:41Speaker 8: as big as the game has gotten now, and how
- 18:43Speaker 8: many logistical things that they're going to have to deal with.
- 18:46Speaker 1: My friend here in the studio who's wearing a slaying
- 18:48Speaker 1: broken arm, but he is a massive Cowboys fan Ben
- 18:50Speaker 1: his whole life, and so Eddie, i'd like you to
- 18:52Speaker 1: meet my friend Darryl.
- 18:54Speaker 3: What's up, Daryl, Good to meet you.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Man.
- 18:56Speaker 7: Well, you do what you do with the army.
- 18:58Speaker 3: It's not a good story. I went all are skating
- 19:00Speaker 3: with my kids. It was my youngest kid's birthday and
- 19:03Speaker 3: I fell. We were racing and I fell broke my
- 19:05Speaker 3: radius bone.
- 19:07Speaker 7: Did you put the arm out to brace?
- 19:09Speaker 3: I did. I tried to fall on my hands, but
- 19:11Speaker 3: I guess the force kind of made a little snap
- 19:13Speaker 3: right here. Anyway, that's not important, Daryl. Here's the important question.
- 19:18Speaker 3: One of my favorite things in the world when you
- 19:20Speaker 3: were playing was to yell moose every single time you
- 19:24Speaker 3: got the ball, Like did you like that?
- 19:27Speaker 7: Like?
- 19:27Speaker 3: What there was no social media then, so for me,
- 19:30Speaker 3: it was just I heard other people do it, so
- 19:32Speaker 3: I started doing it. But when did that like start?
- 19:34Speaker 3: And did you even like it now?
- 19:36Speaker 8: It's funny because a lot of people think that the
- 19:40Speaker 8: nickname followed me from Syracuse, but it actually originated in Dallas.
- 19:45Speaker 8: Babel Offenberg was one of our backup quarterbacks, and when
- 19:49Speaker 8: we started practice, you go through team stretch and then
- 19:52Speaker 8: you go into individual period, and the running backs for
- 19:55Speaker 8: individual or all the way down to the opposite end
- 19:56Speaker 8: of the field in the corner, and we were used
- 20:00Speaker 8: the last group that came all the way back up
- 20:02Speaker 8: to the front end of the field to get ready
- 20:04Speaker 8: to work offensive group, which is everybody but the offensive line.
- 20:08Speaker 8: So as we were jogging down the field, you know,
- 20:12Speaker 8: everybody else was kind of waiting for us. So, you know,
- 20:14Speaker 8: Babe always said, when you guys head this way, you
- 20:17Speaker 8: look like a moose walking in a field of deer.
- 20:19Speaker 8: Because I was six foot two, two forty five. My
- 20:23Speaker 8: backup full back at that time, Broderick Sargent was was
- 20:26Speaker 8: a shorter, stockier build. He was he was probably you know,
- 20:29Speaker 8: five foot ten two forty ish, you know, and then
- 20:32Speaker 8: all the running backs, you know at that time were
- 20:34Speaker 8: under six foot as well, so I would it's six
- 20:35Speaker 8: foot two, you know, coming that way, you.
- 20:38Speaker 7: Know, just looked a little bit larger than everybody else.
- 20:40Speaker 8: So just this innocent comment like that, you know, became
- 20:44Speaker 8: the genesis of the nickname. And then UH it got
- 20:49Speaker 8: on to local radio. Brad Sham, who did the Cowboy
- 20:54Speaker 8: games on radio UH, started to use it during his broadcasts,
- 20:59Speaker 8: and then Troy I shared it with John Madden during
- 21:03Speaker 8: a production meeting before a game one time, and then
- 21:06Speaker 8: John used it on the broadcast.
- 21:09Speaker 7: And that was the end of Daryl and Moose was
- 21:13Speaker 7: the moniker.
- 21:14Speaker 8: And I kind of differentiate between people if they if
- 21:16Speaker 8: they call my name, if they called Darryl or DJ,
- 21:20Speaker 8: especially because DJ means it's a college connection. Somehow there's
- 21:23Speaker 8: a connection to college if somebody calls me DJ. But
- 21:26Speaker 8: if it's a Moose, then then it definitely comes to
- 21:28Speaker 8: the Dallas area. So just by being summoned, I know
- 21:31Speaker 8: kind of the time frame of when we should have met.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Were the nineties just the best time of your life
- 21:38Speaker 3: because I mean you were winning, We were winning, and
- 21:41Speaker 3: like I feel like the Cowboys and anyone on the
- 21:44Speaker 3: Cowboys was just on top of the world in the
- 21:46Speaker 3: mid nineties.
- 21:47Speaker 8: Yeah, I had a heck of a run, even going
- 21:50Speaker 8: back into the late eighties. You know, at Syracuse we
- 21:53Speaker 8: got on a roll. My junior and senior year. We
- 21:56Speaker 8: were eleven to zero. My junior year, got tied in
- 21:58Speaker 8: the Sugar Bowl by Auburn and finished eleven zho to one.
- 22:02Speaker 8: My senior year we ended up ten and two. Had
- 22:06Speaker 8: two horrible games during the course of this season. Played
- 22:08Speaker 8: terrible at Ohio State, played terrible at West Virginia. I
- 22:10Speaker 8: think we had eleven turnovers total in both of those games.
- 22:14Speaker 7: But we ended up beating LSU in the Hall of
- 22:16Speaker 7: Fame game.
- 22:17Speaker 8: So had two really good seasons Syracuse to wrap up
- 22:20Speaker 8: my college career, and then boom walk into one in fifteen.
- 22:24Speaker 8: So it was it was a big adjustment, and then
- 22:27Speaker 8: you started to see the talent that was on that
- 22:29Speaker 8: roster and then just the way that Jimmy was going
- 22:34Speaker 8: to build it. I'm a big culture guy. I still
- 22:38Speaker 8: think the football players need a lot of discipline. You know,
- 22:40Speaker 8: we're young boys and aig in a big body, you know,
- 22:44Speaker 8: playing a violent game, and we need a little bit
- 22:46Speaker 8: of that thumb on the top, So you could see
- 22:49Speaker 8: a lot of these pieces coming together, and North Turner
- 22:51Speaker 8: was really that final piece that we brought in getting
- 22:54Speaker 8: ready for the ninety one season. So yeah, once we
- 22:59Speaker 8: got on a roll there, it was just it was
- 23:02Speaker 8: it was a unique time when you really kind of
- 23:03Speaker 8: look at all those players and all those coaches coming
- 23:07Speaker 8: together at that one point in time and then being
- 23:11Speaker 8: able to max out that opportunity. I think that's one
- 23:13Speaker 8: of the things that you see that sometimes doesn't happen,
- 23:17Speaker 8: is all these different things are coming together and you
- 23:20Speaker 8: see a group not maximize that opportunity for one reason
- 23:23Speaker 8: or another. And I was I'll always be proud of
- 23:26Speaker 8: our guys for really kind of recognizing what was happening
- 23:30Speaker 8: and then and maximizing that opportunity and winning those three
- 23:33Speaker 8: Super Bowls in four years.
- 23:35Speaker 1: The Chiefs going for a three peat something you guys
- 23:38Speaker 1: almost how hard is that to just repeat much less threepeat?
- 23:41Speaker 7: Yeah, well, just getting to the game.
- 23:43Speaker 8: You know, that was one of the things that I
- 23:45Speaker 8: hadn't really spent a whole lot of time like digging into.
- 23:48Speaker 8: But when you go back and you look at the
- 23:50Speaker 8: Packers and the Steelers twice in US, the Patriots the Broncos.
- 23:56Speaker 8: You know, all these teams that had that opportunity to
- 23:58Speaker 8: win three in a row, one of us made it back.
- 24:01Speaker 7: To that third Super Bowl.
- 24:02Speaker 8: They're the first team to actually make it back to
- 24:04Speaker 8: the Super Bowl, to have the opportunity to win three
- 24:07Speaker 8: in a row. So you know, that just by itself
- 24:11Speaker 8: is a tremendous feet because that's never been done before.
- 24:14Speaker 8: So there's a little bit of there's a little bit
- 24:16Speaker 8: of skill, there's a little bit of luck. Again, it's
- 24:19Speaker 8: it's Kansas City maximizing the opportunity that's been presented to them.
- 24:25Speaker 8: You know, with Andy Reid as the head coach and
- 24:28Speaker 8: Steve Spagnolo is the defensive coordinator and Patrick Mahomes as
- 24:31Speaker 8: your guy, and you've watched that team kind of shift
- 24:35Speaker 8: and change during Patrick's career, and you've watched that team
- 24:39Speaker 8: shift and adjust to what the changes are and still
- 24:44Speaker 8: be able to stay on top of the AFC, West
- 24:47Speaker 8: of the AFC Conference and really the NFL.
- 24:51Speaker 7: So it's been very.
- 24:52Speaker 8: Impressive because one of the things that generated the change
- 24:57Speaker 8: to free agency was the pro ensine of of THEAIC,
- 25:01Speaker 8: the dynastic teams.
- 25:03Speaker 7: You know what we had in Dallas. We were We.
- 25:05Speaker 8: Were half of my career the old business way, which
- 25:08Speaker 8: was draft and develop and not a lot of player
- 25:10Speaker 8: movement back and forth to the second half of my
- 25:13Speaker 8: career free agency, where you know you can get better quickly,
- 25:17Speaker 8: and you saw a lot of worse to first scenarios
- 25:19Speaker 8: and several divisions where teams you know, drafted well, but
- 25:23Speaker 8: then also signed free agents well, and all of a sudden,
- 25:26Speaker 8: you've got this really really good.
- 25:27Speaker 7: Gen of gelling of talent.
- 25:30Speaker 8: You know that that is something that that's really hard
- 25:33Speaker 8: to do in today's NFL, and for Kansas City to
- 25:37Speaker 8: be able to do that year after year, and you
- 25:38Speaker 8: go back and just watch the transformation when it's you know,
- 25:41Speaker 8: Patrick in the early days of his career with Tyreek
- 25:43Speaker 8: and all those guys on the offensive side of the ball,
- 25:45Speaker 8: it was the offense and they were explosive and.
- 25:47Speaker 7: You're going to have to outscore them.
- 25:49Speaker 8: Well, now it's the defense, and it's Patrick understanding if
- 25:52Speaker 8: I just don't make critical mistakes and turn the ball over,
- 25:54Speaker 8: this group has got a great opportunity to win the
- 25:56Speaker 8: game because we can lean on our defense now. And
- 25:59Speaker 8: Steve's Ignolo has has done a great job over the
- 26:01Speaker 8: last two three seasons as they've adjusted it kind of
- 26:04Speaker 8: gone through this change.
- 26:04Speaker 7: So that's one of the most impressive.
- 26:06Speaker 8: Things for me for Kansas City as they sit here,
- 26:09Speaker 8: you know, on the threshold of doing something that nobody's
- 26:11Speaker 8: ever done before in the Super Bowl era.
- 26:14Speaker 1: What did you think of coach Schottenheimer getting the promotion
- 26:17Speaker 1: in Dallas.
- 26:17Speaker 8: I like Brian as a man, you know, it's it's
- 26:21Speaker 8: I don't know him well as a coach. I do
- 26:24Speaker 8: know the history and the lineage of the name, especially
- 26:27Speaker 8: Marty Schtenheimer is one of my favorite guys.
- 26:29Speaker 7: You know.
- 26:29Speaker 8: I always enjoy playing against his teams that are always physical,
- 26:33Speaker 8: you go, coach very very well, very disciplined. So all
- 26:36Speaker 8: the things that I talked about with Jimmy, you know,
- 26:38Speaker 8: that's something that Brian's been around. I'm interested to see
- 26:41Speaker 8: what he does with this opportunity. You know, it's his
- 26:43Speaker 8: first time, you know, as a head coach in the NFL.
- 26:47Speaker 7: You know, I don't think it's a risky hire.
- 26:49Speaker 8: You know, when when Jerry talked about that, you know
- 26:51Speaker 8: a lot of these coaches, you know, go through that
- 26:52Speaker 8: similar process. You know, at some point you've got to
- 26:55Speaker 8: be a first time head coach. You know, Jacksonville is
- 26:57Speaker 8: doing it with Liam Cohen. There's risk there for them
- 27:00Speaker 8: to bring in you know, Liam Cohens. So this is
- 27:02Speaker 8: something that's kind of become you know, it's it's the process.
- 27:06Speaker 8: You know, when you get to the NFL at some
- 27:07Speaker 8: point you've got to go out and hire a first time,
- 27:10Speaker 8: you know, NFL head coach. You know, Jerry did it
- 27:12Speaker 8: with Jimmy in an unconventional way, bringing a guy from
- 27:15Speaker 8: the college ranks up and had tremendous success. And I
- 27:17Speaker 8: think that that's the point that he's trying to make.
- 27:19Speaker 8: You know, when I step outside of the box and
- 27:21Speaker 8: do something a little bit differently, you know, I have
- 27:24Speaker 8: reaped rewards when I've done that, So you know that'll
- 27:26Speaker 8: be something that he's going to be able to, you know,
- 27:29Speaker 8: talk to the media about.
- 27:30Speaker 7: But I think it's been one of those things.
- 27:33Speaker 8: I think what has happened with Dallas and for the
- 27:36Speaker 8: first time I really I saw Michael Irvin as critical
- 27:40Speaker 8: as I've seen Michael, who's been a great ambassador for
- 27:44Speaker 8: you know, the Dallas Cowboys, you know, in his in
- 27:47Speaker 8: his post career days, even him a little bit frustrated
- 27:50Speaker 8: and sure he wanted Deion Sanders, who's a good friend
- 27:53Speaker 8: of his to have that opportunity. But that's the first
- 27:56Speaker 8: time I've seen Michael, you know, that frustrated. So you
- 27:59Speaker 8: know that that's kind of the really the microcosm of
- 28:01Speaker 8: the entire fan base. And you know, I think the
- 28:04Speaker 8: perspective that everybody looks at it and not a knock
- 28:08Speaker 8: on Brian Schottenheimer. But if we're going to stay status quo,
- 28:11Speaker 8: why didn't we stay status quo with Mike McCarthy at
- 28:14Speaker 8: the top. So I think that that's the one thing
- 28:17Speaker 8: that everybody walks away after that announcement is the question
- 28:21Speaker 8: of if the real incentive was not to have a
- 28:25Speaker 8: lot of change so we could continue to move forward,
- 28:28Speaker 8: you know, with what we have in place now, why
- 28:31Speaker 8: wouldn't we have just stayed with Mike Mike McCarthy. I
- 28:34Speaker 8: do like the Matt Eberflus higher you know, I've always
- 28:38Speaker 8: been a fan of his. His defenses have always been very,
- 28:41Speaker 8: very productive, very very challenging. We had the Chicago Bears
- 28:45Speaker 8: several times this year, and we had him after Matt
- 28:49Speaker 8: was fired as head coach and there was a new
- 28:51Speaker 8: defensive coordinator that was kind of installing and doing the
- 28:54Speaker 8: game planning, and you know, part of this defense is
- 28:57Speaker 8: allowing the players to play fast, which means we're not
- 29:00Speaker 8: going to complicate things.
- 29:01Speaker 7: I think Matt always adds enough.
- 29:03Speaker 8: I think he straddles that line really really well where
- 29:06Speaker 8: it's it's a fundamental defense and it's got its strengths,
- 29:09Speaker 8: and we allow our players to play fast, but we
- 29:13Speaker 8: do have a couple of wrinkles that are going to
- 29:15Speaker 8: challenge you offensively. And I think really at the end there,
- 29:17Speaker 8: you know, Chicago kind of oversimplified that and maybe lost
- 29:20Speaker 8: a little bit of that creativity that Matt brings to it.
- 29:23Speaker 8: But I thought that that was a good hire by Brian,
- 29:26Speaker 8: and I think it's going to be interesting to see,
- 29:27Speaker 8: you know, how they pair it together. But you know,
- 29:29Speaker 8: I think the big question the fan base has is
- 29:32Speaker 8: if we're going to stay in house, you know, why
- 29:34Speaker 8: didn't we just stay with coach McCarthy.
- 29:36Speaker 1: This UFL headquarter, it's one hundred thousand square feet. What
- 29:39Speaker 1: the heck is in this thing? Is this multiple like
- 29:41Speaker 1: locker rooms, facilities, everything.
- 29:45Speaker 7: Over one hundred thousand square feet.
- 29:47Speaker 8: We could actually use a little bit more if truth
- 29:49Speaker 8: was to be told, Really, what this one is going
- 29:52Speaker 8: to be is going to be where kind of.
- 29:53Speaker 7: The day to day is for all of our players.
- 29:55Speaker 8: So it's two floors and there's four pods on each floor.
- 30:01Speaker 8: So we've got all of our eight teams almost as
- 30:04Speaker 8: equitable as you could have, So kind of the shared
- 30:06Speaker 8: space is making sure everybody's kind of working off that
- 30:08Speaker 8: same that same format. So meeting rooms, we're going to
- 30:14Speaker 8: put some training rooms in there as well. Meals will
- 30:17Speaker 8: be delivered you know to HQs. So really everything that
- 30:20Speaker 8: we're doing there on a player day to day schedule
- 30:24Speaker 8: is going to be handled at HQ. We'll travel out
- 30:27Speaker 8: to our practice sites that are in the DFW area.
- 30:30Speaker 8: Our weight room is a chalk Taw our performance center
- 30:34Speaker 8: is it chalk Taw and and that's a.
- 30:35Speaker 7: Short walk from from HQ.
- 30:38Speaker 8: So we've really been able to consolidate everything where all
- 30:40Speaker 8: of our eight teams will be you know, kind of
- 30:43Speaker 8: in a in one location where last year we had
- 30:46Speaker 8: them kind of closer to their practice facilities. So if
- 30:50Speaker 8: you were a Dragon Stadium in South Lake, your meeting
- 30:53Speaker 8: spaces were out that way and then and that forced
- 30:56Speaker 8: you to kind of, uh, you know, look for your housing.
- 30:59Speaker 8: You know, during the course of the season out towards
- 31:00Speaker 8: the South Lake area. If you were in Mansfield, you
- 31:02Speaker 8: kind of set up your home base out in that direction.
- 31:05Speaker 8: So this is bringing everybody together into the Arlington area
- 31:08Speaker 8: and it really helps us because that allows us to
- 31:10Speaker 8: move back and forth from team to team, you know,
- 31:13Speaker 8: much easier than we had.
- 31:14Speaker 7: To last year.
- 31:16Speaker 1: What's the relationship with the NFL and is it positive
- 31:19Speaker 1: or talked about now where it wasn't in the past, Like,
- 31:22Speaker 1: what is that working relationship?
- 31:24Speaker 7: They've been great, you know to the UFL.
- 31:27Speaker 8: They were great to us in Legacy USFL, they were
- 31:29Speaker 8: great to Legacy XFL. You know, the NFL has always
- 31:33Speaker 8: been a good partner to all the spring leagues, you know,
- 31:36Speaker 8: going all the way back to the Alliance of American
- 31:38Speaker 8: Football with Bill Poleon and his connections back into the NFL.
- 31:41Speaker 8: So you know, there's always been a friend of the
- 31:43Speaker 8: relationship when you talk about the National Football League with
- 31:46Speaker 8: anybody that's kind of popped up on that spring landscape.
- 31:49Speaker 8: So we are sharing technology, we are working together with rules,
- 31:54Speaker 8: We work with them on player health and safety. You know,
- 31:57Speaker 8: Troy Vincent was at our open yesterday in the celebration
- 32:02Speaker 8: for UFL HQ He's one of our big points of contact,
- 32:06Speaker 8: you know, into the NFL when you talk about Park
- 32:09Speaker 8: Avenue and New York City.
- 32:10Speaker 7: So it's been a really really good relationship.
- 32:13Speaker 8: And when you look at the football side of who
- 32:16Speaker 8: we have in the UFL, when you talk about a
- 32:18Speaker 8: Russ brand and you talk about Russ Jillio and Doug
- 32:20Speaker 8: Whaley and all these guys that have spent years and
- 32:23Speaker 8: years working with in and around the NFL, you know,
- 32:27Speaker 8: we've all established really really good connections. And then we've
- 32:31Speaker 8: got Jim Popp who's got a lot of experience in
- 32:33Speaker 8: the CFL but also work back and forth, you know,
- 32:35Speaker 8: giving us a different perspective of the relationship with the NFL.
- 32:39Speaker 8: So we're very blessed to have a number of people
- 32:42Speaker 8: who've already had an established relationship working with the NFL.
- 32:45Speaker 7: As we all come together and work in the UFL.
- 32:48Speaker 1: When do people start reporting I think pitchers and catchers
- 32:51Speaker 1: in the spring, So when did the players come into
- 32:53Speaker 1: this new facility and you guys start what we can
- 32:55Speaker 1: start following.
- 32:56Speaker 8: Yeah, the players are going to arrive on February twenty seventh.
- 32:59Speaker 8: We'll go through onboarding twenty eight, twenty nine, still trying
- 33:03Speaker 8: to figure out what we're gonna do with them. On Sunday,
- 33:04Speaker 8: we got a little bit of downtime, so we'll kind
- 33:06Speaker 8: of work through some different things, maybe get a lot
- 33:09Speaker 8: of the kind of that that busy work that we
- 33:13Speaker 8: can get knocked out at that time. Let the coaches
- 33:17Speaker 8: have their first opportunity to really sit down with their
- 33:19Speaker 8: teams in the new facility. I think that that's going
- 33:22Speaker 8: to be one of the more exciting things too, is
- 33:24Speaker 8: you know, being able to give them kind of a
- 33:27Speaker 8: blank canvas in these spaces and then watch what they
- 33:30Speaker 8: do as they kind of put their own spin on
- 33:32Speaker 8: on what the Michigan Panthers want to do, on what
- 33:34Speaker 8: the Arlington Renegades want to do. You know, what is
- 33:36Speaker 8: that space going to look like, you know when that
- 33:39Speaker 8: team is all done with it. So we're excited to
- 33:41Speaker 8: have that. And then the first day of practice is
- 33:43Speaker 8: going to be Monday, March third.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Finally, what's been fulfilling by I mean an executive that
- 33:48Speaker 1: maybe you didn't think would be as fulfilling as it is.
- 33:51Speaker 8: You start to find the joy in the game and
- 33:55Speaker 8: not what you do, but what and others do. And
- 34:00Speaker 8: this goes all the way back to you know, twenty
- 34:02Speaker 8: nineteen with my time in the Alliance of American Football
- 34:06Speaker 8: or twenty twenty with my time in the XFL. In
- 34:11Speaker 8: the first iteration, you know, there's a couple of guys
- 34:14Speaker 8: that are still in the NFL today, you know from
- 34:18Speaker 8: those teams that I was the general manager of. And
- 34:22Speaker 8: you take a lot of pride in the fact that
- 34:24Speaker 8: you've changed the trajectory of a young man's life now
- 34:27Speaker 8: that he's spent four years, five years with an NFL
- 34:31Speaker 8: salary as opposed to you know, a spring football salary.
- 34:35Speaker 8: That's a substantial difference. So that makes you feel good
- 34:40Speaker 8: and accounting for legacy USFL, legacy XFL.
- 34:43Speaker 7: And then last season as the.
- 34:44Speaker 8: UFL, we've got thirty eight guys that we've put back
- 34:48Speaker 8: into the NFL and fifty three man rosters. And as
- 34:52Speaker 8: we talked about that is that is life changing for
- 34:55Speaker 8: a young man when you talk about the financial impact
- 34:57Speaker 8: that that's going to.
- 34:58Speaker 7: Have on him.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Always excited to more football, but more high level football,
- 35:02Speaker 1: like that's that's what the real excitement is, I think
- 35:04Speaker 1: for US football fans, and congratulations on the growth and
- 35:07Speaker 1: the continued maturation, and we really appreciate the insight. You know,
- 35:11Speaker 1: big fans of you. Thank you, Daryl, and hopefully we'll
- 35:14Speaker 1: talk to you again soon. Congratulations and have a great
- 35:16Speaker 1: rest of the day.

- 37:02Speaker 1: gonna flip the coin here read call near heads of tails.
- 37:06Speaker 1: He says tails. It is tails. It's the back of
- 37:08Speaker 1: the buffalo. Do you want to go first or second? Okay, Kevin,
- 37:13Speaker 1: if you'll leave the room, you can pop it in
- 37:17Speaker 1: my office. You just can't watch the screen. Oh man,
- 37:21Speaker 1: So we're gonna put two minutes upon the clock. Mike,
- 37:22Speaker 1: do we have any music? Let's see and read. Once
- 37:27Speaker 1: you pull it out, please let us know what it is.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Casey will be sitting over there with you. And if
- 37:31Speaker 1: the nose lights up, you must drop it again.
- 37:34Speaker 6: Okay, copy that.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I think too. If it lights up, you have to
- 37:37Speaker 1: drop it. Wait three seconds until we say go back. Okay, yeah,
- 37:41Speaker 1: sit there. If it lights up, tell them to drop
- 37:44Speaker 1: it here that Casey read? Are you ready?
- 37:47Speaker 5: I'm ready?
- 37:49Speaker 1: Two minutes on the clock. Go read's going for the bottom.
- 37:56Speaker 1: What you got there? There's one.
- 38:01Speaker 7: Naked o?
- 38:03Speaker 1: Case you put that microphone near his face?
- 38:05Speaker 8: Oh, I'm shaking.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Read reads handed shaking. Wow, what'd you get there?
- 38:09Speaker 4: Read? Another one that is a I don't even know
- 38:13Speaker 4: what kind of bone. It's a wrench or something.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Okay, do you need Casey to move so you can
- 38:17Speaker 1: see Eddie? Do your other hand, Casey, so it's not
- 38:21Speaker 1: in the front of the camera. Thirty seconds down? What's that?
- 38:27Speaker 1: It's a humorous I don't know all this stuff. Oh no,
- 38:35Speaker 1: I dropped it, hey, let up, drop it? Let up?
- 38:39Speaker 3: I saw it light out don't check it away?
- 38:42Speaker 1: Two three back in, lit up again three seconds one
- 38:48Speaker 1: two three back in? What are you going forward?
- 38:51Speaker 7: There? He's going for a rib.
- 38:54Speaker 1: He's going for a rib. He got it. Success, he
- 38:57Speaker 1: got the rib. How many parts do you have right now?
- 38:59Speaker 4: We got four parts?
- 39:00Speaker 3: Wow, good job job.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Oh I touched one, two three back in minute fifteen down.
- 39:11Speaker 4: Oh, he dropped the piece. He got it.
- 39:15Speaker 3: What is that?
- 39:16Speaker 4: Looks like the funny bone?
- 39:20Speaker 1: Thirty seconds left, one two three back in.
- 39:24Speaker 3: I want read focus.
- 39:28Speaker 1: These are impossible. He keeps putting in and pulling out.
- 39:34Speaker 3: That's the trick.
- 39:35Speaker 1: That's the trick. Yeah, go for the butterfly. He has
- 39:37Speaker 1: fifteen seconds lefts going for the butterfly. Six seconds okay,
- 39:47Speaker 1: you got that one good war three two time?
- 39:52Speaker 3: What'd you give him? You gave up with two seconds left.
- 39:55Speaker 1: I'm happy with that. I'm happy.
- 39:56Speaker 6: Well, I hit it, so I was gonna wait three seconds?
- 39:58Speaker 7: Got it?
- 39:58Speaker 1: So it's to run off of the clock. Can't run
- 40:01Speaker 1: off ten seconds? Casey, What does he have down there?
- 40:03Speaker 4: We got six pieces here? We got some tooth thing.
- 40:10Speaker 7: What is this?
- 40:11Speaker 4: A uh? A rib bone? Okay, like a rib bone?
- 40:16Speaker 4: We got a funny bone? What is the butterfly a
- 40:19Speaker 4: wrench of some sort here. I mean it's in the
- 40:23Speaker 4: stomach because you're a hamstring.
- 40:25Speaker 1: So six total. Okay, put job guys, Casey, if you'll
- 40:29Speaker 1: put them back in, I will read you could.
- 40:32Speaker 6: Because all those other ones are like tucked away, they're impossible.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Hey, six is pretty good. I'd say you.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Can retire to the other room.
- 40:38Speaker 7: Read.
- 40:38Speaker 1: My hand was so like, dude, you were shaken. Yeah,
- 40:41Speaker 1: I know.
- 40:41Speaker 6: It was like I was not shaken beforehand, and then
- 40:43Speaker 6: when I go to this, I'm just.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Like think, think about what a real surgeon has to
- 40:48Speaker 3: go through.
- 40:48Speaker 1: No chance, man, did they drink coffee?
- 40:51Speaker 4: They probably like do surgery.
- 40:52Speaker 6: For Super Bowl tickets?
- 40:53Speaker 1: Huh, they's just buy their own, Yeah, try to buy
- 40:57Speaker 1: their own. Okay, out of here, go, let's bring Kevin in.
- 41:04Speaker 1: He does not know the rules yet. This case. You
- 41:07Speaker 1: got to the camera as you find sitting there.
- 41:09Speaker 3: It's good. We made it work, all right, Come on in, Kevin.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Can you move the game back where it was? Though?
- 41:15Speaker 1: Don't tell him how many Reid got.
- 41:18Speaker 3: I won't say word. Man, good thing Casey's there because
- 41:24Speaker 3: I didn't even hear the vibrating.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I see the nose light out. Oh that's what I saw.
- 41:28Speaker 1: All right, Kevin, We're not gonna tell you how many
- 41:30Speaker 1: red got You're gonna have two minutes on the clock,
- 41:34Speaker 1: and you're gonna pull out as many as you possibly can.
- 41:36Speaker 1: And please describe it as you're going, like what you're
- 41:38Speaker 1: going for. If it lights up, you have to release
- 41:41Speaker 1: for three seconds before you can go back in.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Okay, Kevin, have you ever played this game before?
- 41:47Speaker 1: Uh?
- 41:48Speaker 5: Yes, in my lifetime, yet in the last twenty years.
- 41:51Speaker 1: No, got it. Yeah, tell us when you're ready, and
- 41:53Speaker 1: I'll start the clock and on your queue. When you
- 41:56Speaker 1: grab the Tweezers we get you can put the mic
- 42:00Speaker 1: And here he goes and he's on blocket started. It's
- 42:06Speaker 1: going for something in the bilt light up one, two, three,
- 42:09Speaker 1: go back in. He's going into like the stomach always
- 42:12Speaker 1: he's moving on from the stomach.
- 42:17Speaker 3: I mean his first dig was a red light. So
- 42:18Speaker 3: that's not good. Not a good story.
- 42:19Speaker 1: He's in one of the easier ones now that maybe
- 42:21Speaker 1: like the.
- 42:21Speaker 3: Oh ah, you're already the patient two three back in.
- 42:29Speaker 1: This patient better be in a lot of anesthesia. He's in.
- 42:34Speaker 4: He got it, he got it, he got the funny ball.
- 42:36Speaker 3: That's a clean pit.
- 42:37Speaker 1: The funny bone is out. Thirty eight seconds down. What's
- 42:43Speaker 1: he at now? He's going for the wrench, the wrench
- 42:47Speaker 1: down of the ankle. Why would they let up red
- 42:50Speaker 1: rad drop it?
- 42:52Speaker 3: Why would the wrench have to have a wrench three?
- 42:54Speaker 1: I don't know. Wrench in your ankle? I don't know.
- 42:56Speaker 1: I can't even see it. Okay, clear, got the wrench
- 43:01Speaker 1: out of the ankle.
- 43:02Speaker 3: That's two.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Yep, there's one minute left. What's the aim of four?
- 43:06Speaker 4: Now over there, we're going for the hamstring.
- 43:08Speaker 1: All the old rubber band down in the leg.
- 43:11Speaker 3: That should be easy.
- 43:12Speaker 4: Okay, hamstring secured, Good.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Job, got it three down, forty five seconds left.
- 43:19Speaker 3: I don't want to jinx it.
- 43:20Speaker 1: But he hasn't buzzed, right, Thanks, Eddy, and time go
- 43:25Speaker 1: back in and you like to announce her. This is
- 43:27Speaker 1: the kicker. Hasn't missed.
- 43:30Speaker 5: Butterfly.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Okay, butterfly, butterfly.
- 43:33Speaker 3: That was clean.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Twenty six seconds left right, one two three back in
- 43:43Speaker 1: oh on the red two three back in. Oh. He's
- 43:48Speaker 1: changing up. He's changing up.
- 43:49Speaker 4: He went for the bread basket.
- 43:51Speaker 1: There's ten seconds left. Stop going back, he's going back. Oh,
- 43:55Speaker 1: red one, Kevin, leave that one two three back in
- 43:59Speaker 1: red again one two time.
- 44:02Speaker 3: I think his stubborn has got.
- 44:03Speaker 4: Him on that way.
- 44:04Speaker 1: These are all like underneath time and uh, before we
- 44:08Speaker 1: bring read back in, I'll let him know how many
- 44:10Speaker 1: did how many get there?
- 44:11Speaker 4: Okay?
- 44:11Speaker 7: Total?
- 44:12Speaker 4: We got five pieces here, all right? Got the butterfly,
- 44:14Speaker 4: the bread, the wrench, the funny bone, and the hamstring.
- 44:17Speaker 1: All right, if you guys a't mind going back to
- 44:18Speaker 1: your seats, thank you very much.
- 44:21Speaker 3: How was that Kevin sucked?
- 44:23Speaker 1: Yeh? I was shaken because the game's harder because you're nervous.
- 44:26Speaker 5: Uh, both, and some are obviously a little bit harder
- 44:30Speaker 5: than others. Then I learned that the hard way.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you knew that though from the history of the game, right.
- 44:35Speaker 5: Like I honestly I have not thought about this game
- 44:37Speaker 5: in a long time.
- 44:38Speaker 1: You didn't google anything while in my office waiting?
- 44:41Speaker 5: Huh no, because I did that for Connect four and
- 44:43Speaker 5: they did nothing for me.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Is that what you would do? Bones google about it?
- 44:45Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 44:46Speaker 1: What's the easiest the hardest one to do for? Come
- 44:48Speaker 1: on in read? All right? They don't know who's got what? Okay,
- 44:52Speaker 1: someone unlocked the door. I guess he's locked out. I
- 44:54Speaker 1: wonder why he's not coming in.
- 44:56Speaker 7: It's the longest.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Well we talked for a while, sold a lot of
- 45:00Speaker 1: your secrets. Oh man, Well, without saying how many each
- 45:05Speaker 1: of you have, I will say that it was a
- 45:07Speaker 1: very close race. It was not a tie.
- 45:11Speaker 3: There was a winner and a loser.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Yeah, because what would have sucked was it had been
- 45:14Speaker 1: a tie. We have to do it again. The winner
- 45:19Speaker 1: read do you feel like you want?
- 45:22Speaker 6: I have no confidence. I'm going to be honest. I
- 45:25Speaker 6: don't think I won.
- 45:27Speaker 1: So you think with your number, which we're not saying,
- 45:29Speaker 1: you don't think it was enough. I don't think it was. Kevin,
- 45:32Speaker 1: what about you?
- 45:33Speaker 5: No, I don't feel good about it at all. It
- 45:36Speaker 5: took me a while to get going. I started getting going.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Some of those are like just pushed away, it's possible.
- 45:42Speaker 5: That's what I was struggling with. And then my ego
- 45:45Speaker 5: got in the way where I was like I can
- 45:46Speaker 5: get it, and I didn't.
- 45:48Speaker 1: So I think, say you did?
- 45:49Speaker 5: No, No, that's the hard part.
- 45:51Speaker 1: The winner had a total love six.
- 45:57Speaker 5: I knew it.
- 45:59Speaker 1: You're up one.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Where are you apologizing?
- 46:04Speaker 1: I just I just feel bad?
- 46:06Speaker 6: Man?
- 46:06Speaker 1: Why because we all deserve it?
- 46:08Speaker 7: No?
- 46:09Speaker 3: No, when I be Kevin but he deserves it.
- 46:11Speaker 7: That's fair.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Yeah, nobody deserves point. Yeah, yeah, he's best out.
- 46:15Speaker 6: Of three though, So I mean I got a long
- 46:17Speaker 6: ways to.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Go, well not near as far as he does to
- 46:20Speaker 1: hike up the full mountain. Kevin, your thoughts, Let's go
- 46:23Speaker 1: talk to the losing coach out of the locker rooms.
- 46:24Speaker 3: It is terrible.
- 46:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I didn't feel great playing it. I didn't feel
- 46:28Speaker 5: great afterwards, and I still don't feel great. But I
- 46:31Speaker 5: still have a chance. And until I'm completely out, I'm
- 46:34Speaker 5: coming for you. Read there you go okay, And I
- 46:36Speaker 5: still have the confidence and now I know I got
- 46:38Speaker 5: to come up with some type of strategy and uh,
- 46:41Speaker 5: looking forward to Monday. You don't know what the game
- 46:43Speaker 5: is in Operation Ago diferent game? Two more different games
- 46:48Speaker 5: are like because if I win, then we get another shot.
- 46:52Speaker 1: That's correct.
- 46:52Speaker 5: Sounds gonna be two different games.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Do you think I'm gonna tell you that here?
- 46:56Speaker 5: I mean, just like a little sprinkles, So.
- 46:58Speaker 1: We'll play the other games on Monday.
- 47:00Speaker 5: Games.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Yeah, games what to be games?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Even if it's the same game twice, that's plural. It
- 47:08Speaker 1: could be a version of real life operation and it's like.
- 47:12Speaker 3: It's like the essay team man, Like, you can go
- 47:14Speaker 3: to the store and buy every single game you want practice.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, do that, go buy some games.
- 47:20Speaker 3: Let me do a bunch of games.
- 47:21Speaker 1: How do you feel right now though, knowing that you're
- 47:23Speaker 1: one loss away from not getting in?
- 47:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel pretty crappy. Yeah, I don't feel great
- 47:29Speaker 5: at all. I feel pretty disappointed. I feel like I'm
- 47:32Speaker 5: disappointing my family right now.
- 47:33Speaker 1: So are they listening and rooting all yeah?
- 47:36Speaker 5: Yeah? My mom even texted me this morning, good luck.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Oh have you told have you told your dad about
- 47:40Speaker 3: all this?
- 47:40Speaker 5: Yeah? He knows.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Did you tell him you're already going to the super Bowl?
- 47:42Speaker 5: And then no, no, no, no no. I I prefaced it with,
- 47:46Speaker 5: you know, we got to play for the tickets, so.
- 47:49Speaker 1: Yeah, but you only had to not be the one worst.
- 47:52Speaker 5: I know, and I don't like. I don't even know
- 47:55Speaker 5: if it's the super Bowl tickets that I hate the most.
- 47:56Speaker 5: I think it's the fact that I just keep losing
- 47:58Speaker 5: that I hate the most. That's not anything that's not true.
- 48:01Speaker 5: It's the super Bowl that you're not going to. Like,
- 48:04Speaker 5: that's a bigger deal than losing two little things. But like,
- 48:07Speaker 5: continue to lose and lose. And if I don't win
- 48:09Speaker 5: one game, if I don't beat read at least one time,
- 48:12Speaker 5: I'm gonna be pissed that myself. I'm letting that happen.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Well, Monday, Well have it all ironed out. How many
- 48:19Speaker 1: did he get? Five? He just kept going for the
- 48:22Speaker 1: same one over and over again.
- 48:23Speaker 6: He got stuff I had to learn, and I was like,
- 48:25Speaker 6: if I couldn't get it, I had to move on.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Read Congratulations, thank you, You're one step closer to having
- 48:31Speaker 1: a Super Bowl ticket.
- 48:32Speaker 3: Good job, Read, thank you.
- 48:34Speaker 1: The eleven year old kid who landed the Paul Skins
- 48:36Speaker 1: one of one rookie patch card, which this was forever.
- 48:41Speaker 1: They were like, if anybody finds it, the Pirates had
- 48:44Speaker 1: offered if you found this card, a pair of Pirate
- 48:46Speaker 1: season tickets behind home plate for the next thirty years,
- 48:49Speaker 1: I meet and greet with Paul Skins, two signed Skians jerseys,
- 48:52Speaker 1: a Pirate's game with Libby Dunn and her suite, and
- 48:54Speaker 1: much more so. If you found the card, you could
- 48:56Speaker 1: turn it in for all that and you got to
- 48:57Speaker 1: play on the field like a softball game on the
- 48:59Speaker 1: Pirates field. And the kid was like, now we're.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Good, because what's the card worth.
- 49:05Speaker 1: They're going to auction it off. I would imagine at
- 49:09Speaker 1: least a few hundred thousand dollars. Okay, Like, would you
- 49:13Speaker 1: rather have a few hundred thousand dollars or but you
- 49:16Speaker 1: live in Pittsburgh, right, Yeah, a pair of Pirates season
- 49:18Speaker 1: tickets meet and greet jerseys sitting in her suite. I
- 49:24Speaker 1: would rather have the money.
- 49:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I'm taking the money.
- 49:27Speaker 1: And you could also just hold it, but then you
- 49:32Speaker 1: really need Paul Skeins to continue to play well, and
- 49:35Speaker 1: usually in the card market as a heavy pop first,
- 49:39Speaker 1: and even if they maintain, it's hard for them to
- 49:41Speaker 1: stay at that big highest market in the stock market,
- 49:46Speaker 1: which is where he's at right now after winning Rookie
- 49:47Speaker 1: of the Year.
- 49:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:49Speaker 1: So eleven year old found it in jes A pack. Wow,
- 49:52Speaker 1: And it was a redemption card, so it wasn't even
- 49:53Speaker 1: the card. It's hey, you got this, you won this?
- 49:56Speaker 1: Mail it off.
- 49:56Speaker 3: Well that's cool.
- 49:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's pretty awesome. And if you're the kid's parents,
- 50:01Speaker 1: what are you gonna do? How much of it you
- 50:04Speaker 1: give him? Many your kid wins it.
- 50:05Speaker 3: I would say let's sell it and then we're gonna
- 50:09Speaker 3: save half of it for your college funds or whatever,
- 50:13Speaker 3: your future.
- 50:14Speaker 1: What's gonna be taxed. So let's say it's two hundred thousand. Yes,
- 50:16Speaker 1: we're saying it's three hundred. We're making up a number.
- 50:18Speaker 1: There's two hundred thousand dollars cash. Now that you have,
- 50:21Speaker 1: go ahead, what are you doing with you and your kid?
- 50:23Speaker 1: Your kids?
- 50:23Speaker 7: If you like?
- 50:23Speaker 3: How much do I have in my hand? Two thousand,
- 50:25Speaker 3: two hundred after taxes? We're saving it the one hundred thousand,
- 50:29Speaker 3: and then you're gonna give me and your mom fifty
- 50:32Speaker 3: thousand because they're just gonna give it because parent tax
- 50:35Speaker 3: that's not real, a real thing that they could see
- 50:36Speaker 3: you later on life. No, no, no, okay, no, no, no, there's
- 50:39Speaker 3: a parent tax. It's just our stuff. And then now
- 50:41Speaker 3: you have fifty grand to do whatever you want with.
- 50:43Speaker 1: You're gonna give a kid fifty thousand dollars just say go.
- 50:46Speaker 1: You're not gonna like spread it out like you can
- 50:48Speaker 1: get one hundred bucks a week.
- 50:49Speaker 3: No, because he's already got the one hundred thousand for
- 50:51Speaker 3: a future man, he can do it to college.
- 50:53Speaker 1: You're gonna give an eleven year old kid just straight
- 50:55Speaker 1: up fifty k?
- 50:56Speaker 3: What do you think he could do with fifty k
- 50:59Speaker 3: candy ice cream every day.
- 51:03Speaker 5: Shoes. You don't have enough room in your house for
- 51:06Speaker 5: fifty caves. Yeah, exactly.
- 51:09Speaker 3: I have to be like, no, we're not buying it.
- 51:10Speaker 1: It's not like he's gonna buy a Bob Ross painting
- 51:12Speaker 1: and investing in one painting for forty thousand dollars.
- 51:14Speaker 3: You might buy a drum set, you know, Like.
- 51:17Speaker 1: Well, here we are. I hope everybody has a good weekend.
- 51:20Speaker 1: Thanks to Daryl Johns Still for coming on.
- 51:21Speaker 3: That was awesome.
- 51:22Speaker 1: Thank you to Read for letting us see a victor. Oh,
- 51:25Speaker 1: thank you guys, you Kevin for letting us see someone
- 51:27Speaker 1: lose again.
- 51:28Speaker 3: That was cool.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Luckily that wasn't the game that ended at all.
- 51:31Speaker 5: I know, because very well there will be one. What
- 51:36Speaker 5: do you mean there will be one to end at all?
- 51:38Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, there will Monday show, I guess unless
- 51:42Speaker 1: you die.
- 51:43Speaker 3: So we played two on Monday. Yes, how if.
- 51:45Speaker 1: If Kevin wins, we will play another. We'll play a
- 51:50Speaker 1: third tie record game. And is it going to be
- 51:52Speaker 1: a traditional game or can we go to like arm wrestling.
- 51:55Speaker 1: I don't want to mind where anyone has an advantage already,
- 51:57Speaker 1: But there's.
- 51:58Speaker 3: No advantage to arm wrestling with these two. I mean,
- 52:00Speaker 3: sure there is. Read's been hitting the gym.
- 52:02Speaker 1: It'd be like doing sprints or nothing physical because there
- 52:06Speaker 1: would be an advantage. You know, I don't want to
- 52:10Speaker 1: even do sports trivia. Read doesn't claim to know sports. True,
- 52:13Speaker 1: So we found games like this, how'd you wrong? By
- 52:15Speaker 1: the way?
- 52:16Speaker 3: Oh better, dude, better, like a lot better. I don't
- 52:20Speaker 3: know if I'm just like superheeler over here, but I'm
- 52:24Speaker 3: able to move my arm like I would say, fifty
- 52:27Speaker 3: percent more than I did when I had when I fell,
- 52:30Speaker 3: and there's and there's no pain.
- 52:32Speaker 1: What's up?
- 52:32Speaker 5: It's convenient because because I think by this time next
- 52:36Speaker 5: week when we're in New Orleans, he might even be
- 52:38Speaker 5: out of that sleep.
- 52:40Speaker 1: But how did that help him?
- 52:42Speaker 3: He thinks I'm faking the whole thing to get out
- 52:43Speaker 3: of one hundred pound ball.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Yeah, oh that was a challenge.
- 52:46Speaker 3: Yeah, no, not the case. And that's the thing. I
- 52:49Speaker 3: don't even know, like when I'll be able to carry anything,
- 52:51Speaker 3: because I mean, dude, what.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Did doctor say? Hello?
- 52:53Speaker 3: He just said we'll talk about anything you can do,
- 52:56Speaker 3: like physically, like working out after his second visit, so
- 52:59Speaker 3: that and that's after we get back from.
- 53:01Speaker 1: The super Bowl, Do you tell him you're going super Bowl?
- 53:03Speaker 7: No?
- 53:04Speaker 3: No, I didn't tell no, because that's when I didn't
- 53:05Speaker 3: know if I was going. I really didn't want to
- 53:07Speaker 3: tell people I might go to the super Bowl.
- 53:08Speaker 1: That's pretty cool. Okay, well then we will see you
- 53:10Speaker 1: guys next week. I got nothing else to say. Good
- 53:15Speaker 1: luck to everybody. Hope you have a good weekend. Kevin's
- 53:17Speaker 1: gonna stew he's already upset hanging there.
- 53:18Speaker 3: Yeah, Kevin Red, thank you for the entertainment.
- 53:21Speaker 5: Oh you're welcome. Was it entertaining for you?
- 53:22Speaker 1: Yeah? Mostly just to see the joy and the sadness
- 53:25Speaker 1: on the face because other than the cameras that we
- 53:28Speaker 1: had set up, we can't really watch it back until
- 53:29Speaker 1: we watch you back on Instagram, you know, mm hmmm.
- 53:32Speaker 5: We're gonna post this one too, of course. Oh we
- 53:34Speaker 5: not just making sure.
