- 0:26What are we here for? What do you truly want?
- 0:34When change is not enough, what do you do?
- 0:46Let's talk about it. The Proms we face.
- 0:50Let's fight hatred. No doubt, always the mind is
- 0:56naked. We can see it without an X-ray.
- 1:02Life is easy if we work together.
- 1:06We are the keepers, We are the people.
- 1:08We are all equal, fit with purpose.
- 1:12The past has pain, it'll drive you, even make you take aim.
- 1:18But together is where we should aim.
- 1:23Together is where we should. What are we here for?
- 1:31What do you truly want? When change is night and night,
- 1:40what do you do? You listen to the beef here.
- 2:03With Me, Podcast 40. Five.
- 2:07I'd like to say I'm on the mic. At least once a week.
- 2:23And I'm excited about that for sure.
- 2:34Let me fix my screen a little bit.
- 2:37So before I bring the guys in, I got to say I kind of feel pretty
- 2:42cool. I mean, the show's been doing
- 2:44really well so far. People have been commented and
- 2:47some of the guys might need a bodyguard or two, but tonight is
- 2:51kind of exciting because you know, we got some guys as you
- 2:54guys already know, the real Luis Ortega already know recent
- 2:57attack Yamaha tonight we got High Rev Trevor, also Moto
- 3:00America. So I'm kind of excited.
- 3:02We're going to have some fun tonight and talk about it.
- 3:05It's been a long week, so I think I feel like I get I got to
- 3:08play some music too tonight. So we might get into that and
- 3:11see, but sit down, you know, crack out, crack open what you
- 3:15need to crack open because we're going to have some fun tonight.
- 3:17It's the Beef Forever Cool podcast.
- 3:19With no further ado. Let's bring the guys in like we
- 3:21normally do. Hi Revs.
- 3:23Trev man, welcome to the Monday night podcast, man.
- 3:27Appreciate you coming on tonight.
- 3:28What's good man? How you doing tonight?
- 3:30I'm doing well. Thanks for having me.
- 3:32I guess It is Monday, man. It's my girl's spring break, so
- 3:35it just almost feels like COVID all over again.
- 3:38Just locked down. Not much to do, you know so.
- 3:41Right, right. Glad to be back on.
- 3:44Thanks for having me. Nice man.
- 3:47Now the I know, I know you were used in Moto America.
- 3:49Do you? How much do you follow World
- 3:51Super Bike and Moto GP and even BSB and some of the other
- 3:54classes? Yeah, definitely.
- 3:57Moto GP World Super bike when when the app isn't messing up,
- 4:01not so much BSB, kind of what we see on social media and stuff
- 4:04like that. But yeah, definitely, you know,
- 4:07I got my fantasy Moto GP going, so I got to make sure I'm
- 4:10following that squad for sure. Right, right, right.
- 4:13That's what's up. All right, man, we're going get
- 4:15all everyone in and then we're going to chop it up and see
- 4:17what's happening. It's a little crazy break
- 4:18because of things that are out of our out of our control and
- 4:22you know, guitar round isn't happening.
- 4:25Reese, man, welcome to the show, man.
- 4:26How you doing tonight man? What's going on, man?
- 4:29Everything's good. Just on my way home.
- 4:31Get ready for Atlanta. OK, then that's what's up, man.
- 4:35When you say on your way home, because like when I say on my
- 4:37way home, I'm going. To lose an hour away, Yeah,
- 4:40you're an hour away. I'm a couple days away.
- 4:42I won't be home until Sunday and then fly out Tuesday for Atlanta
- 4:46first round. Man, that's what's up.
- 4:48You stay with the suitcase. Live out of the suitcase man,
- 4:52try to go home and spend some quality time with the family
- 4:54before hit the road again all. Right, that's what's up man.
- 4:58Are you are you excited with the break from Moto GP or is is you
- 5:04just got to find something else to keep you occupied while you
- 5:06while you are doing the miles? I'm good.
- 5:10I don't need a we could, we could take a break because I'm
- 5:13going to have a long season, so I could take a break.
- 5:16I'm going to need it mentally. No doubt.
- 5:20No doubt. I feel that.
- 5:20I feel you there. All right, man.
- 5:23We'll keep it moving. No, Lewis man, how you doing?
- 5:29Hey, what's going on? How you doing tonight?
- 5:31Man, I'm trying to get my machine to work properly.
- 5:33It's just not cooperating. Other than that, I'll be good.
- 5:36What's good, man? According to some of our fans,
- 5:39it must be made in China because they only make complete trash in
- 5:42China. Dude, listen, man, I, I, you
- 5:46know, I, it's I, it's funny because like we forget about the
- 5:53tough times of all the manufacturers.
- 5:56It's. Well it's funny because most of
- 5:59them are responding on a phone that was made in China talking
- 6:03about they only make trash sound.
- 6:08Well, we, we, we all set on straight.
- 6:09I mean, that's what we're doing. And I and I, and apparently we
- 6:12we were striking a nerve or two, so.
- 6:15Me striking a nerve or two. Listen man, I, I, I want you to
- 6:21be able to travel freely, man. I can travel anywhere I need to
- 6:25travel, man. I've had people come up to me
- 6:27and say they disagree with me, but they, they're, they're
- 6:30honest and they're, they're respectful in their disagreement
- 6:34and some of them have valid points and some of them don't.
- 6:36I listen to their points. You know, I, I won't get into a
- 6:39heavy debate with them, but I'll, I'll, you know, I'll more
- 6:42than happy to listen to them and give them my opinion as they're
- 6:45giving me my their opinion and it's all respectful.
- 6:47It's all good. It's, it's part, you know, it's
- 6:50part of the game. Oh, no doubt, no doubt.
- 6:54I, I, I'm seeing it in the comments.
- 6:56So you know, it is what it is. I guess.
- 7:00Let's talk about that guys. I mean, you know, you guys are
- 7:03all in the public eye when you're at the race track and
- 7:05stuff like that and people come up to you.
- 7:07So kinda, you know, is it is, it is, is there life training for
- 7:11that at, at the, at the, the pro level?
- 7:14Would it tell you how to deal with, you know, people that
- 7:17don't necessarily agree with you?
- 7:23There used to be not so much anymore.
- 7:26You know, we all sign NDA's and, you know, kind of watch your P's
- 7:30and Q's online or in the public eye and, you know, you just
- 7:33can't go around MF and everybody anymore.
- 7:36But yeah, there's no, if we were like a factory team or something
- 7:41like that, I'm sure we would have a a media manager.
- 7:43I'm sure like Jet and Hunter and those guys on the supercross
- 7:46side, they got a media manager that's like, hey, you got to
- 7:48stick to the script and thank your sponsors and you know, you
- 7:52can't be like danger boy type deal.
- 7:54But on my end of it kind of independent, even though I work
- 7:57for Honda and and my views don't necessarily express, you know,
- 8:02their opinion type deal. Yeah, there's there.
- 8:05We don't. We're not necessarily in, we're
- 8:07in guardrails, but not as tight as it should be for sure.
- 8:10Gotcha. Gotcha.
- 8:11OK, that's what's up. Mind your PS and QS.
- 8:15What are your what are your thoughts, Reese?
- 8:17Hey, how you deal with it? You got to hang somebody over.
- 8:20I won't say. Anything.
- 8:23Nah. I mean, unfortunately I got to
- 8:24mind my PS and QS a little bit more on the factory side.
- 8:27I mean, there is, like I said, I mean those guys we do, you know,
- 8:32they have a a list of sponsors they got to thank and everything
- 8:35they got to, you know, stick to the script.
- 8:37But you know, those guys on the crew guys, you know, we still
- 8:40got to stick to the stick to the code of conduct.
- 8:43You want to say, you know, be professional.
- 8:47I mean, we can't go around dropping F bombs.
- 8:49You want to as bad as heck. But you know, we got to be
- 8:51respectful to the fans because they do come out and watch.
- 8:55But you know, it's something we do got to be respectful at
- 8:57times, but there's a lot of times you want to hang somebody
- 9:01by, you know, you know, just literally just cussing the hell
- 9:04out. But can't do that all the time.
- 9:07OK, no doubt, no doubt, Lewis, man, I mean, you know, you, you,
- 9:12you wouldn't get what you got to by hit people in the nose.
- 9:16So maybe not in public. It all it all depends what shirt
- 9:23I have on at the moment. Obviously the the views and
- 9:27opinions as expressed by myself are my own and do not reflect
- 9:31this with the views and opinions of my company.
- 9:36But if you know if I'm wearing a company shirt and I'm in company
- 9:38mode, then I have to be a company man and conduct myself a
- 9:42certain way. But if I'm not in a company
- 9:44shirt, you get a different opinion.
- 9:48Probably you get slightly modified feedback.
- 9:53Nice, nice. We like, we, we, we like the
- 9:55sound of that. Yeah, man, I'm, I'm trying to
- 9:59figure where to where, where to where to kick it off with.
- 10:02But let's do the, you know, motor Americas in a couple of
- 10:05week, man, and we're excited for that.
- 10:09You know, you know, I guess I'm going to be there this this time
- 10:12around. But if you guys, it's, it's the
- 10:13routine and stuff like that, when it starts to get close, you
- 10:17know, what does that feel like for you?
- 10:19What does preparation look like? What, you know, what's the
- 10:22mindset? You know, You know, for me, I'm
- 10:25a fan. So I'm just excited because
- 10:27everything goes right. What's going on, Joe?
- 10:32Yeah. For me, you know, when the
- 10:35season's over, I don't know if if other racers experience and
- 10:38stuff like that, but you kind of go through like this post mortem
- 10:42depression, you know, 'cause the racing's over, the stress over,
- 10:46you take off that backpack, that weight you've been carrying all
- 10:49season with the training and trying to get results and
- 10:52sponsorship obligations and everything else like that.
- 10:55Then you kind of go on a little break and then you got to get
- 10:57back in the training and then I'm back in the training.
- 11:00But unfortunately right now we don't have our deal put together
- 11:03yet. So so I'm kind of on on edge and
- 11:08almost almost got the clutch pulled in a little bit and
- 11:11neutral trying to get not too worked up because I think our
- 11:14first round won't be until Rd. America at this point.
- 11:18So yeah, just kind of excited because I will be at Rd.
- 11:23Atlanta. I'll be there just spectating
- 11:25and, and going out and talking to the sponsors and the fans
- 11:27and, you know, doing the best I can to represent, you know, my
- 11:30sponsor still with hustle hard and porous R and of course
- 11:33Honda. But as of right now, we're we're
- 11:37on the we're a spectator. So.
- 11:40We're off the. Grid and stuff, you know.
- 11:43But yeah, I'm ready to rock'n'roll.
- 11:45We just got to get our deal finished up.
- 11:47I got an extra mic, so you know, you don't have to be a
- 11:49spectator. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, man.
- 11:51Put me. Put me to work man.
- 11:54You know what I'm saying? OK, then that's what's up, man.
- 11:55We'll, we'll, we'll, we'll talk about that some more.
- 11:58Now let's get to Reese, man. What's good, man?
- 12:00You know, I mean, it seems like you're always working, so you're
- 12:02always prepared. So you know, how does it work,
- 12:06man I. Mean, I guess the intensity
- 12:11level starts kicking in, the stress level starts getting
- 12:13higher, you know, making sure everything is ready to go.
- 12:18I know I just left the shop, you know, a couple days ago.
- 12:21I know those those boys over there and they got everything
- 12:23ready to go in the truck during the last preparations.
- 12:28Last time I talked to the riders, I know they're ready to
- 12:30go. So I mean, everybody's, you
- 12:32know, kind of on edge and just that anxious moment, just like
- 12:35you're ready to start the show, OK.
- 12:37OK, I hear that, man. I get, I get anxious every day.
- 12:42Lewis. What's good?
- 12:43Lewis, man? I mean, what what is it like for
- 12:45you? I mean, you know, I would think
- 12:46your season's a little bit different or maybe you follow a
- 12:49few different trends. You know what is it like man?
- 12:53Yeah, my season's a little bit different.
- 12:55I mean, I have to kind of follow what's going on in the track.
- 12:58But it's not just track that I have to worry about.
- 13:01You know, I have to worry about photo shoots for new products.
- 13:04I have to worry about when launch dates for new products
- 13:06are going to come out. I have to schedule these.
- 13:08I have to plan product seeding, content creation, content
- 13:12collection, going through all the materials and make sure that
- 13:16they're ready to distribute, ordering samples, looking at
- 13:22samples, you know, ordering inventory for the USI mean,
- 13:26that's my season never stops, you know, So like racing is one
- 13:30part of it. So like what, you know, it's
- 13:34work, but it's actually a little bit of a distraction from work
- 13:36to go to the racetrack for two or three days and just work with
- 13:407-8 or nine people, make sure that they're OK, make sure that
- 13:44everything they need is there and ready to go.
- 13:48Like that's actually a little bit easier, you know, and just,
- 13:51you know, relationship building. We have a lot of people that
- 13:54like to be in our products, but they have contracts with other
- 13:57people. And, and I'm not that guy.
- 14:00Like there's some guys in the paddock, but I'm not that guy
- 14:02that goes around a paddock. Like, Hey, you want to come ride
- 14:04for me? I'll if I, if you ride for me,
- 14:07I'll do this for you. I'll do that for, you know, like
- 14:08I don't go around stealing people's riders.
- 14:10Like I just don't people ride for me because they want to be
- 14:16part of the team. They know how I treat them.
- 14:18They know how I take care of them.
- 14:20So it's, it's a little bit different because when I go to
- 14:22the track and I talk to the guys that are in our gear, they're
- 14:26they're not necessarily in our gear because there's a
- 14:28contractor. They're not necessarily in our
- 14:30gear because I'm forcing them to be in our gear and they have to
- 14:32adhere to certain things. I mean, most of them are in my
- 14:35gear because they, you know, they want to actually be in the
- 14:37gear. They want to stand out.
- 14:39They want to have something different than everybody else
- 14:42and they know that we, you know, we're going to take care of them
- 14:44really, really well. So it's it's almost, it's work,
- 14:47but it's not work because it's like hanging out with a bunch of
- 14:49friends at a more professional track day Is, is the way I look
- 14:55at it. OK, that's what's up, man.
- 14:59Doing a lot. I, I like it.
- 15:01I, you know, I heard the model part and I, I figure I should
- 15:03let you know, man, if you ever need someone in front of the
- 15:05camera, man, you know, you know, I, I guess.
- 15:09You know, kind of in that same breath right there, that that
- 15:11photo that's right there behind me that is for the 50th
- 15:15anniversary Goldwing. And I was the stunt rider in the
- 15:18model for the 50th anniversary Goldwing for the entire world.
- 15:21So the global launching campaign, I was the rider for
- 15:24that thing. So that that's.
- 15:27So I should dream bigger what you're saying?
- 15:30Yeah. And I, and then that's one of
- 15:31the reasons why we're most likely going to miss Barber as
- 15:33well is because we have another product launched in Texas during
- 15:36that same weekend that I, that I'm obligated to be at.
- 15:39So yeah, it's, you know, duty calls type deal.
- 15:45Oh yeah, man. Listen, man, these we, we all
- 15:48know it. Let's talk about Moto GPS off
- 15:52for a little bit Well, we're all I got.
- 15:55I got to look at the calendar for old super bike.
- 15:57I think they're off for a little bit too.
- 16:01Pretty wild not I'll say yeah. So they don't come back until
- 16:03May 5th for Moto GP, the French round.
- 16:07There's been some testing at 850CC bike going on right now
- 16:11and stuff like that. A lot of silly talk with just
- 16:16the different contracts and, and and so forth.
- 16:18But let's talk about the bike situation.
- 16:19Let's talk about Yamaha 1st and, and we'll go through them.
- 16:23Is it much to expect from from these bikes at this point?
- 16:25Is is it too early in the season to to to start thinking about
- 16:29next year as far as what to expect from the 850CC bikes or
- 16:34at this level like it matters from like the day before day one
- 16:39you start high high Rev. Yeah. I think, I think you're kind of
- 16:44seeing that happen now. I think Ducati is kind of
- 16:47pivoted and maybe it's starting to work towards 2027 and that's
- 16:51why we're not seeing the same type of performance we did in
- 16:54years past. And Apria is on the gas, right.
- 16:57So I think some of these other OEMs see blood in the water and
- 17:01are taking advantage of that and continue to develop, while the
- 17:05bigger OEMs are already looking to the future.
- 17:07They're looking, you know, in the windshield instead of the
- 17:09rearview mirror. Got you.
- 17:12What are your thoughts on that Reese?
- 17:14You know, is, is Yamaha they did or as he said, Ducati just
- 17:19looking towards the future and which is which is tough for us
- 17:22as fan to watch because the yeah, the struggle's been real
- 17:26since last year for every every rider except for the Marquez
- 17:29brothers last year. What are your thoughts man?
- 17:33I mean, actually, I think, I think that these guys are
- 17:37actually trying to look towards the future and kind of got their
- 17:40foot out the gas. I know Yamaha did already, you
- 17:42know, so I mean, the other manufacturers that haven't been
- 17:46there, they're, they're looking at it and trying to take
- 17:48advantage of it and trying to get that win.
- 17:50And I just think that they're actually looking at the future
- 17:52because the 8:50 is a different kind of a different animal in
- 17:55itself going from 1000 back down to the 8:50.
- 17:58So it's a new whole new era and no one has kind of data.
- 18:02So it's just, you know, it's the last year of it.
- 18:05So what I mean, what are we really gaining from these 1000
- 18:08anymore? It's time to look to towards the
- 18:10future. Right.
- 18:12So you agree that it's they should just just put out what
- 18:16they have and just maintain versus going to the to the end
- 18:19because it seems like Aprilia, they're trying to sit here and
- 18:22say, yeah, we might be able to steal one.
- 18:24I mean, actually they, they can steal one.
- 18:27I mean, and you're trying, it's no more development of the 1000
- 18:31because what are you going to get and you can't progress into
- 18:33the next year because you're actually going back now to 850.
- 18:37So it's really not progressing. It's really kind of try to start
- 18:40working on the 8:50 or hey, leave what we have.
- 18:44We can kind of modify it a little bit, but let's worry
- 18:46about more of the 8:50. Got you, got you, Lewis, man.
- 18:50What are your thoughts, man? I mean, is it more value in what
- 18:53these guys are saying or is it better to sustain, you know, the
- 18:58peats, you know, as far as you know?
- 19:00I mean, they've been winning now since 21.
- 19:03It would be nice for Ducati to win all the way up until they
- 19:06switch to 850. I mean, I know it's only three
- 19:08rounds. I'm not calling them out, but
- 19:10the struggle is real at the moment.
- 19:12Yeah, the struggle is real. But I mean, if if you look at
- 19:15who's struggling and the kinds of struggle, it's not like
- 19:19Ducati fell off a Cliff, you know, it's not like they
- 19:22completely went back to zero. Marquez is struggling because
- 19:26he's still dealing with injuries.
- 19:28But when, you know, when he's able to get out and actually
- 19:30ride, I mean, he can still ride the wheels off the bike.
- 19:33It's just, you know, he's dealing with injuries.
- 19:35Bagnaya showed some speed, but Bagnaya's not been consistent
- 19:39for almost a year and a half now.
- 19:41So for him to even get into the top three is is a win in itself.
- 19:46Alex, I think he's I think he's kind of checked out, man.
- 19:50I think he's got that KTM deal in his back pocket.
- 19:52He's like, hey, I just need to get through this year and next
- 19:55year I'll be a factory rider. So that let me not overextend
- 19:57myself, maybe get hurt this year and start next season, you know,
- 20:02in a bad situation with KTMI. Mean Fermin Aldeguerre is coming
- 20:06back from injury. More Videli is more Videli and
- 20:11the Chan Antonio is right up front with Petco and with Mark.
- 20:14So it's it, you know, it's not like they're finishing with the
- 20:17Yamahas in the back. It's just the Aprilia.
- 20:20The the two Aprilia guys in the Aprilia package just is a little
- 20:23bit better. Do I think they're going to
- 20:25throw their hands up and just walk away from this year and not
- 20:27try to win? Absolutely not, man.
- 20:29There's, you know, there's a lot going on every single race.
- 20:32There's money involved, there's sponsorship money involved,
- 20:36there's renewal of contracts. I mean, they want to win.
- 20:38Everybody wants to win. Nobody shows up because they
- 20:40like, you know, finishing last. So I don't think Ducati is going
- 20:44to throw up their hands and walk away and just give this to
- 20:47Aprilia. I think as Mark gets healthier,
- 20:50did you continue to be consistent up in the top five
- 20:55and Peko can kind of get his stuff together?
- 20:57I think Ducati is going to be right up at front battling with
- 21:00Aprilia. I mean, Marco Buzzeki is not
- 21:03going to continue this this run that he's on indefinitely.
- 21:07I mean, nobody can, nobody can continue, you know, win every
- 21:10single lap, every single race for so many races in a row.
- 21:14I mean, if you think about when this streak started, it started
- 21:18when he took out Marc Marquez. Then all of a sudden he became
- 21:22an incredible rider. Why?
- 21:23Because the best rider in the world, he took him out and now
- 21:26he was, you know, he had nobody else on his level and he's still
- 21:29recovering from injury. You know, I don't think he's
- 21:32he's a very good rider. He's a competent rider.
- 21:34I think Martinez is also a very competent rider who is also
- 21:37coming back from injury. But I don't think they're going
- 21:40to run away with this. I think they're going to be
- 21:42very, very competitive against Ducati, probably the most
- 21:44competitive bike against Ducati since Ducati kind of came into
- 21:48this dominance that they're in right now.
- 21:52OK, OK. All right, I think.
- 21:56Yeah, but you got to remember there, there has been a streak
- 21:59before I think Mark, what did ten in a row, eleven in a row.
- 22:03So. It's not impossible.
- 22:06And Mark, but Mark did it. I would say Mark did it against
- 22:08better competition than Begnaia than Bizecki's doing it against
- 22:12right now. That's true, yeah.
- 22:14Yeah, you know, I mean, think about who Mark did it against.
- 22:17Jorge Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi, Danny Pedrosa, Who's Peko
- 22:24is doing it against. I mean, who's aliens anymore?
- 22:27Yeah, who's Bizecki doing it against Pekko?
- 22:29Who's got the consistency of wet diarrhea?
- 22:32You've got Martine. That will be a great if you put
- 22:35him on a great bike because he can't set up a bike to save his
- 22:38life. So guess what?
- 22:39I made the bike great last year. So you get to jump on a bike and
- 22:42benefit from what I did last year.
- 22:43Let's not talk about him, but. Here you go, Martine.
- 22:46He does have the skill set. I mean, come on, you.
- 22:49Can't set up a bike to save his life.
- 22:51You have to give him a bike that works.
- 22:53We could probably say the same thing about Marquez with that
- 22:55too, right? And Marquez?
- 22:56They build bikes around Marquez and.
- 22:59And and and we become unrideable to a the the the bikes and.
- 23:04That's how good he is. He can actually ride a bike
- 23:07nobody else can ride. I mean, you know.
- 23:09Team can only ride a bike if every single bolt is torqued
- 23:11down to the exact specs he needs.
- 23:14I'm just saying, I mean, Martine is closer to a Lorenzo, right?
- 23:18I mean, there's Lorenzo. Hell no.
- 23:20Hell no. He's closer to a, He's closer to
- 23:24he. Have when he won the title come
- 23:26on I mean I know there's a lot more rounds for sure, but come
- 23:29on man that dude had a lot of wins when he won the title he.
- 23:31He's not an alien man and. And he even a.
- 23:34Pedrosa. Yeah, that means a squid ain't
- 23:36no alien. I would say, I would say if
- 23:38anything he's he's maybe closer to a Pedrosa.
- 23:41Be getting hurt. Getting hurt, definitely getting
- 23:45hurt. The only difference between
- 23:46Petrosa is he's been able to walk away with 1 championship,
- 23:49but it was a championship that was won because nobody wanted to
- 23:52win it. Every other weekend, him and
- 23:54Petco took turns crashing out. I'm OK with, I'm OK with Martin
- 23:58being a Petrosa. That's, that's respectable.
- 24:01I mean, come on. That's that's you know.
- 24:02That's instead of Lorenzo I. Mean, come on, we'll take it.
- 24:11Let's talk about KTM because since we, we are we all we
- 24:14started with Yamaha, well, we started with Ducati, but for KTM
- 24:19right now it seems like Acosta is leaving.
- 24:21So do you think KTM is doing, you know, what manufacturers
- 24:25have done in the past holding the secret sauce back because
- 24:28the ride is not going to be there next year?
- 24:30Or you do you think KTM is again, maybe sitting here
- 24:32saying, well, we got we got Acosta is pretty close, even
- 24:36though he hates us, but he's riding like he loves us.
- 24:39Abashinini. He's now starting to figure
- 24:41himself. I mean, listen, you know, say
- 24:43what you want about Vignalas, but like I got to I got at least
- 24:46got one screw in my hand and sometimes I think it's moving.
- 24:49So I mean to get that fixed and and, and if he can come back
- 24:53right, Well, he got like 3 weeks off.
- 24:55So realistically, if Rossi can come back with broken his
- 24:57breaking his leg in two places back quicker.
- 25:00You know, you might you might have three guys in KTM that can
- 25:04say, hey, wait a second, Aprilia, we we might be able to
- 25:07steal this one too. What are your thoughts?
- 25:09High Ref Trev. Yeah, man, I think they've lost
- 25:13some of that top speed because they've been the fastest, right?
- 25:15And you saw a Coda that the Aprilia was just motor and buy
- 25:19them. I think Luis hit the nail on the
- 25:21head when when Alex gets over there, he's going over there for
- 25:25the money. Let's not kid ourselves.
- 25:27He has the Red Bull contract and he doesn't have that that Ducati
- 25:32money with the Grassini team and stuff like that.
- 25:34So when he goes over there, he's getting all that paycheck and
- 25:37he's going to be able to do something with KTM for sure, I
- 25:40think. But they got to get the top
- 25:42speed back. But it's another one of those
- 25:44companies whether I don't know if they're going to invest into
- 25:47the 1000 anymore. I think they're going to invest
- 25:50in the riders and get these guys that they need to be able to
- 25:54compete for the following season.
- 25:55They're going to get the Alex Marquez and some of those other
- 25:57cats, Pedroza going or not Pedroza, Acosta going away.
- 26:04You know, that's that's a big deal.
- 26:05They they, they got to keep him. But who knows man, right?
- 26:10Right, right. I Reese, man, what happened to
- 26:12the days where somebody will build something and it's a one
- 26:15off and it don't matter how much it costs and they're going to
- 26:18keep building it. I mean from a from a, from a,
- 26:21from a tuning point, from a, you know, mechanical standpoint and
- 26:27KTM, man, come on, They they should be doing something right.
- 26:29Do you agree with the situation or you think you just move on
- 26:31from a business standpoint? In the days of a one off is
- 26:37going like the 70s, but but I don't know man, I mean with with
- 26:44them losing Acosta, that's a big hit.
- 26:46You know what I mean? That's that's a real big hit.
- 26:49KTMI don't know what they're doing.
- 26:51I mean I disagree with you there with all three.
- 26:54I mean Bastinini, I mean he's had one round.
- 26:57I mean he looked real good and I still give him one.
- 27:02It's just. 3 rounds and and he was nice on the Ducati before
- 27:07you know, you know he got hurt. Sun shines on a dog's ass every
- 27:10once in a while. I'm tough, you know me, I'm
- 27:14tough. I'm tough but I mean bassinet
- 27:18and me he he's he's showing a little bit of light vinyalis.
- 27:23I'm. I'm saying by.
- 27:24Summer break by summer break, right?
- 27:26If these guys are top 8 by summer break.
- 27:29Stick a fork in Vinyalis, man. It's over.
- 27:32It's over. It's it's time to move on.
- 27:35It's time to maybe world Super Bike, just like more of a deli,
- 27:38something else. This GP is not working for you.
- 27:41It's I don't know what's going on with him.
- 27:43He's very, very, very, very inconsistent.
- 27:46I mean, I've been that way since Yamaha days with him.
- 27:48He's just very, very inconsistent.
- 27:50Some days he's hot, some days he's not.
- 27:52The man got listen with Aprilia. The man was on fire.
- 27:56They did it. They made a decision without
- 27:58consulting the man and the man said I'm out now with KTM.
- 28:02The man just got hurt. He was the fastest KTM last year
- 28:05until he got hurt. Come on man.
- 28:07Like, you can't just, you can't just say the man was dusty.
- 28:10I'm I'm like Janet Jackson, man. What have you done for me
- 28:13lately? Come on man.
- 28:14Listen man, we what I was. Going to say I'm sorry.
- 28:19I'm sorry man, I'm sorry. It's just.
- 28:21That is the lately though, like he, he, he was nice for KTM last
- 28:25year until he got hurt and, and you know, I mean, the man's
- 28:29trying to come back and he bought some fears in the
- 28:32company. OK.
- 28:33But I mean, we can say that about Rens.
- 28:35Rens was good until he got hurt and that he never recovered from
- 28:38that injury. He still limps around from that
- 28:40injury. Yeah, but he just.
- 28:42Got out this past weekend, you know what I'm saying?
- 28:44Let's let's say I said summer. Break.
- 28:47Nah, I mean if he shows me some some light after summer break
- 28:51then I can see it. But I mean, I don't see it with
- 28:54Vinales and I think Acosta is just pretty much mentally
- 28:58checked out. I think Acosta's like I'm done.
- 29:01Like I'm already in a. He can't be done in 3rd in the
- 29:04championship and leading the championship after he's not
- 29:06done, he's fighting. He's not, I'm not saying he's
- 29:09not done. He's going to fight to the end.
- 29:11But as far as you know, want to do anything more with KTM
- 29:16afterwards, he has it's it's, it's, it's going to push.
- 29:20I mean, every ride is going to push to the end because they
- 29:21want to win the championship. There's an opportunity to win.
- 29:24He's they're going to take it. So he's going to want to take
- 29:27the the time to win. But as far as anything else
- 29:30afterwards, yeah, he's, you could tell he's not.
- 29:33And he's like, yeah, I ain't. No, I'm leaving.
- 29:35Lewis, come on man. When you look at the numbers,
- 29:37you got to see these three guys may be able to pull it off at
- 29:40KTM. I mean, Acosta definitely has
- 29:42the best chance to pull it off this year for KTM than anybody
- 29:46else, but he won't be there next year.
- 29:48Like, that's a, that's a, that's a guarantee unless, unless
- 29:51something dramatic happens and the Brinks truck quadruples in
- 29:55size when it comes up his driveway, I don't see him
- 29:58staying at KTM on Vinales's side.
- 30:01I got it. You know, I will say Vinales has
- 30:03been hurt. Vinales pulled out of the last
- 30:07round because he started having pains again.
- 30:09He went back. I think he just got a different
- 30:12operation or some sort of scope on his shoulder, and so now he's
- 30:18got to go through the rehab and everything again to get his
- 30:20shoulder back in shape. And Vinales is a lot like a lot
- 30:23of these other guys. Vinales isn't 19 or 21 anymore.
- 30:26People don't realize Vinales has been doing this for a hot
- 30:29minute. 2015. And as soon as you start
- 30:32getting, as soon as you start getting to that, that three in
- 30:35the front of your birthday, like how many years you've been
- 30:37around 30, it it hurts and takes a little bit longer to heal.
- 30:43And you know it. You don't, you know, undefeated
- 30:46father times undefeated. With that said, I still think if
- 30:49he recovers, if he gets back, if he gets his strength back, he's
- 30:52still a dynamic rider. And if Acosta leaves, he still
- 30:55has an opportunity at KTM to be their number one rider, even
- 31:00with Alex Marquez coming in. Alex Marquez has shown flashes
- 31:03of brilliance, but you know, Vinales has been at the front
- 31:07for a long time on multiple different manufacturers.
- 31:11He's won on multiple different manufacturers.
- 31:14You know, he's, I believe if he wins with KTM, he'll be the
- 31:17first rider to ever win on three different manufacturers.
- 31:21So it's, you know, I think he's he's got a lot to show for.
- 31:25He's still got a lot to go. I think Acosta is going to be
- 31:28out. I think the biggest problem KTM
- 31:30is going to have is KTM always relate on horsepower and now
- 31:34they don't have the horsepower anymore.
- 31:35When they go to the A50 CCS, they're not going to be the
- 31:38fastest bike down the straightaway.
- 31:39So they got to figure out how to fix all the issues they have
- 31:42with the bike, whether it's stability and braking, stability
- 31:46and turning. And they know how to make a race
- 31:48bike. I mean, they win in Moto 2, they
- 31:49win in Moto 3. For some reason, as soon as they
- 31:52put that big motor into their bike, they just can't put all
- 31:56the pieces together. So either they need to hire some
- 31:58outside engineer or replace some of the people that are working
- 32:02in the garage with some people from winning factories.
- 32:05You know, I hate to say it, but maybe you got to poach a couple
- 32:08people from Aprilia or poach a couple of people from Ducati and
- 32:12try to bring some of that magic over here.
- 32:13I mean, Ducati wasn't Ducati until they poached somebody from
- 32:16Aprilia and then all of a sudden the Ducati became this de facto
- 32:20great bike. Why they they poached Gigi
- 32:22Delegia from Aprilia because he was dominated in the world.
- 32:26Super bike under RSV 4. Right, right.
- 32:28Yeah. So with with Vignalas, didn't he
- 32:33win on the KTM on the tire pressure or was that a second
- 32:36place he got and then they took it away I.
- 32:38Think it was a second place and they took it away from him.
- 32:42So at least he was on the podium.
- 32:43I think I. Think he's won on three.
- 32:46I think he's won and it happened a couple.
- 32:48Years ago, yeah, he went on Suzuki, he went on, he went on
- 32:51Yamaha, Yamaha and he went on the Prolia.
- 32:54He hasn't won on the KTM. Yet he wasn't on the KTM.
- 32:57He'd be the first guy to do 4. But he'd been on the podium and
- 32:59they took his. Got to do.
- 33:00Four. Yeah, I think he's gotten 3.
- 33:02Though, just a second, people in my ear telling me, you know,
- 33:10let's talk about these silly rumors, man.
- 33:12I mean, you know, I, I hear that Bassionini maybe going to
- 33:16Grassini, going back to Grassini alongside Alonzo, you know, is
- 33:23that a good look for Bassionini or just he should be happy to be
- 33:27in the league in, in the, in the Moto GP paddock?
- 33:31Or is this like this should be another factory team, whether
- 33:34you know, Yamaha or someone else should pick up Bastardini
- 33:37because I mean, the man's nice. I mean, you know, and I mean,
- 33:40granted he didn't get enough time on the KTM.
- 33:42So I don't, you know, that KTM has a bad habit of keeping
- 33:46people one year, 2 year. They did it to Ika, they did it
- 33:49to Remy, you know what I'm saying?
- 33:51They did it to one of the Lowe's brothers, Sam Lowe's, you know.
- 33:56Yeah, but they got Brad Bender that they've kept around for
- 34:00probably too long. Now, I mean, you know, I mean, I
- 34:05wonder about that. But like, wait, why do you think
- 34:07that is, Trev? No clue, no clue.
- 34:11I scratch my head every every Sunday, every week.
- 34:14Rick's weekend on why is Brad Bender still in the paddock?
- 34:17Why is why is Alex Ren still in the paddock?
- 34:21You know, because it's one thing if your results aren't there and
- 34:25you're marketable, right? Like a Jack Miller, a top rack,
- 34:30you know, a Zarko, you know those guys are marketable.
- 34:33So the sponsors love them regardless of their results.
- 34:37You know, you almost have to even question like a mirror,
- 34:40like why the hell are we at Honda still keeping mirror
- 34:42around do crashes more than anybody?
- 34:45You know, with 0 results, there's not even a flash of
- 34:47brilliance anytime. So yeah, man, that that's the
- 34:51one I scratch my head at all the time.
- 34:53It's like, dude, why? Why are some of these cats still
- 34:55there? Do they got some daddy big bucks
- 34:58that are bringing in money or, you know, are they helping out
- 35:01the team somehow? Or are they bringing a sponsor
- 35:03in? And I don't see Ren's bringing
- 35:05in a sponsor. I don't see some of these other
- 35:07cats bringing in a sponsor that's going to help the team
- 35:09out. So I don't know, man.
- 35:11Yeah, maybe they just drop off suitcases and suitcases of
- 35:14money. They don't ask me the question
- 35:16because, you know, we, they just cover the cost.
- 35:20What are your thoughts, Reese, man?
- 35:21I mean, you know, why, why, why is KTM not keeping Bastianini
- 35:25and you know, for Bastiani going back to Grazini where he made
- 35:29this to the factory and he's not ready to come out of Moto GP
- 35:32factory seat yet. No, he's not ready to come out
- 35:35of the GP seat yet. He's still, he still has some
- 35:38time left. I mean, he still can do some
- 35:41work in there and, you know, give him the right, you know,
- 35:44team, the right bike, the right people behind him to support and
- 35:49he can actually put some work in, you know, so he's one that,
- 35:54you know, I don't know why they're getting rid of.
- 35:56You know, like, like high Rev says, you know, it's some of
- 35:59these guys that are still there. It's just like why?
- 36:03It's all politics. And it's just like it is like he
- 36:06says, it's all marketable. How much, how much of a bag are
- 36:09you bringing in and helping the teams to, you know, sponsorships
- 36:13and whatever you're bringing in? And those guys, a lot of those
- 36:17guys aren't in aren't marketable anymore.
- 36:19They're just there is it's kind of over and know it.
- 36:21Jack Miller, everyone, you know, everyone's talk so bad about
- 36:25Jack and say Jack, I'm like, no, Jack is a crowd pleaser.
- 36:28He's a crowd favorite. He brings in money.
- 36:30You know, I actually spoke to Jack at the airport when we were
- 36:33leaving AGP and to see the the guy, you know, come down the the
- 36:39outside of the track after the race and just ride by the fans
- 36:43and going to the pit, that tells you something on who Jack is.
- 36:47You know, So I, I just don't understand why would you get rid
- 36:51of somebody as far let somebody as far as Bassini go and, you
- 36:55know, not keep him and try to, you know, have him on one of
- 36:59your top bikes. And you know me personally, you
- 37:02know, like I said, if Vinales doesn't come back healthy, I
- 37:05mean Vinales and Brad Bender will be gone and you know,
- 37:08bringing, you know, Bassini and Alex in there and then see what
- 37:11they can do. And then you'll have two
- 37:13markable guys, two guys that can ride and put some work in so.
- 37:19I agree with that, man. I, I, I like that lineup.
- 37:21Keep bashing any Lewis. I know you're crunching the
- 37:24numbers. I mean, sometimes it's nice just
- 37:26to keep an artist around that has a good voice.
- 37:29That may not sell a lot of records because a lot of people
- 37:32don't understand it, but man, when you listen to it, it sure
- 37:36sounds good. Yeah, but even good artists
- 37:39eventually start to show their age and lose some of their
- 37:42value. I mean, I, I'd love Phil
- 37:44Collins, but I wouldn't go see him in concert today.
- 37:48My man can barely walk, you know?
- 37:49I mean, there comes a moment where you lose your value you no
- 37:52matter how valuable you think you are.
- 37:54Right, right. But now is, is that the people
- 37:56behind the desk making that that that that choice?
- 38:00Or is it actually the artist? Because people behind the desk,
- 38:04they. So here's the thing.
- 38:05Fans would like to think they're the ones making the choice
- 38:08because they're a fan favorite. Fan favorite doesn't mean shit.
- 38:13If I'm spending three and a half, $1,000,000 to put you on a
- 38:15bike and you're not giving me any results.
- 38:19You know, at the end of the day, results are what matter.
- 38:22You could be a fan favorite all you want.
- 38:24Are you bringing money to my team?
- 38:26Because let's, let's look at Honda a couple years back when
- 38:32they had a different line up, they had, what's the gentleman's
- 38:38name, the English gentleman. Cal Crutchlow.
- 38:43Cal Crutchlow, Kyle Crutchlow always complained about the fact
- 38:47that he was on a satellite bike and they were always asking him
- 38:50to bring more sponsors and if he brought more sponsors they would
- 38:53put better equipment on his bike.
- 38:56So they had him Honda out had him out there on shitty Showa
- 39:00suspension cause a Honda is a owner of Showa or a majority
- 39:04owner of Showa. And he said I needed Olin's
- 39:06suspension. And his team told him, well,
- 39:08then bring us money for Olin's parts.
- 39:11Some of these guys do have financial backing that help them
- 39:14stay in racing. You know, don't think that it's
- 39:17talent alone. You know, the Lowe's brothers,
- 39:20one of the Lowe's brothers just happens to be married to the
- 39:22daughter of the owner of a team. They're talented guys.
- 39:26But their their crash receipt for the past 10 years, you could
- 39:30build a new factory to build Ducatis with all the parts that
- 39:34they've crashed in you. Know trying to get a divorce?
- 39:37Yeah, it's it's time for a divorce.
- 39:39So some of these guys are there because of popularity.
- 39:42Some of these guys are there because of talent and
- 39:44popularity. And some of these guys are there
- 39:46because of popularity and money with a hint of talent.
- 39:50Because let's be honest, there's been some people that have
- 39:52gotten the Moto GP that you're like, how'd that guy get a Moto
- 39:56GP? That guy sucks.
- 39:57Remember that one year that guy bought 11 ride like he and and
- 40:02everybody? Well, Rossi was just kind of
- 40:03like you. Kind of got.
- 40:04To earn it. Yeah, well, if it's dangerous.
- 40:08I mean I can't remember the gentleman's name right now, but
- 40:12he his father owned the track in.
- 40:18I think his father owned Bruno and he was one of the original
- 40:24ART bikes. So these were like the modified
- 40:27St. engines on the OR CRT bikes. He sucked but his father owned a
- 40:36track and had a shit ton of money so guess what his son that
- 40:40barely did well in Moto 2 got a Moto GP ride and stayed in Moto
- 40:43GP for many years until his dad was like I'm not voting that.
- 40:46Anymore, Carol Abraham. Carol Abraham, there you go.
- 40:50Yeah, yeah, yeah. Carl Abraham.
- 40:51Yeah. His dad owns a track.
- 40:56So you going to tell somebody that owns a track that you go
- 40:59to? We're not going to let your son
- 41:01ride. He.
- 41:04Didn't deserve that ride, but he stayed in Moto GP for how many
- 41:08years? Because again, his dad kept
- 41:09floating as soon as as soon as daddy cut the wallet off.
- 41:12Where's Kyle Abraham now? Right now driving a U PS: truck.
- 41:16Nah, man. He's probably not.
- 41:17I mean he's he's secret if you don't need to drive AUP.
- 41:20What's wrong with driving a UPS? Truck man, it's it's hyperbole.
- 41:23It's called hyperbole. It's Google Pagula Gula,
- 41:27something like that. Her dad owns the the Sabers and
- 41:30the Bills, and she plays. She doesn't have to grind out
- 41:32the in on the pro circuit, but he's not been grinding, you
- 41:36know? Yeah, he's that tie rider that
- 41:39Petronas sponsored. It wasn't Chantry, it's somebody
- 41:42else, but it was same, same scenario.
- 41:43Yeah, same scenario they come with.
- 41:45If you come with enough money you can and and just the right
- 41:48amount of talent, you can find your way into the Moto DV
- 41:51paddock. Yeah, just like you can find
- 41:54your way into any paddock. For sure.
- 41:57You know, that's just what it is.
- 42:00There's, there's five or six guys right now in Moto GP that
- 42:03don't need to be in Moto GP. Either they're too old, they're
- 42:07too slow, or they're just not bringing any results.
- 42:09But for some reason or other, they're still in Moto GP because
- 42:12either they have money that they're bringing with them.
- 42:15So some of the satellite teams, especially satellite teams, are
- 42:17always looking for extra money. They'll be more than willing to
- 42:20keep dragging along a dead body as long as the check clears.
- 42:24Yep, there's a couple of guys that are Paddock that does the
- 42:27same thing. Yeah, and bring in money.
- 42:30Every padding, there's those guys that don't have the top
- 42:33level talent, but they got the top level wallet and they'll
- 42:36keep getting the rides that everybody else kind of doesn't
- 42:39get because, you know, money buys a little bit more than just
- 42:43goodwill. So let me let me say this guys,
- 42:46right, because it's this that's been going on from, you know,
- 42:50not not necessary pre NASCAR, but that's been going on for a
- 42:54long time. You paying for the ride, right.
- 42:56So is this a situation where and I there's two-part questions
- 43:00really is is this good for the sport in general?
- 43:02But it's been going on for so long as well.
- 43:04So this is kind of the only way that we know because it it you
- 43:09know, you had something like that came off the streets
- 43:12essentially that that now we we're doing that a gazillion
- 43:16dollar industry, you know, globally, you know, or you know,
- 43:20globally. So I mean, is this good for the
- 43:21sport should do something that should be changed.
- 43:25Can we change? I mean, I saw we saw what
- 43:27Michael Jordan did with NASCAR. So we can't say can't.
- 43:30Well, you. Can't say baseball.
- 43:37Yeah, man, I don't, I don't know.
- 43:40You know, the racing business is exactly what it is we're in.
- 43:43We're in the entertainment business when you really kind of
- 43:46look into it and we're there to sell product.
- 43:49Well, you know, when on Sunday, sell on Monday type deals kind
- 43:52of the idea. But it's just getting the eyes
- 43:54on your product and that's where the kind of sponsorship comes in
- 43:57from. And that's why we got guys in
- 43:58the paddock that necessarily don't belong there.
- 44:01Shit, you can even say I'm one of them.
- 44:03But I'm pretty good marketing. We got good results, but are we
- 44:06going to beat JD? Hell no.
- 44:08You know we're not going to. We're going to be fighting for
- 44:10maybe a top 15, a top 12 on a good day.
- 44:14If it's raining, we'll be maybe a little bit further up.
- 44:16But no man, it's money. Money talks, man, and it doesn't
- 44:20matter what the industry is, what the sport is, money brings
- 44:24everything. You can even look at boxing, you
- 44:26know, Jake Paul freaking crap shows, you know, look how much
- 44:31money that stuff brings in. And and it's not even a real
- 44:33sport, you know, it's all fixed. So it's, it's kind of the same
- 44:37way with with our sport. We're no different.
- 44:40We're not immune to to having sponsors and needing the money.
- 44:44Hell, Moto America doesn't have any money.
- 44:45So they're going to take everybody they can to to try to
- 44:49fill up that paddock for sure. Gotcha.
- 44:51Gotcha. Well, we're seeing that with the
- 44:53rule changes for this year, so we're interested in how that
- 44:55plays out. Eris, what are your thoughts
- 44:57man? I mean, it's right.
- 45:03Money plays a big part part in this thing, man.
- 45:06I mean, it's like what they say money makes the world go round.
- 45:10I mean, do I think they'll ever change it?
- 45:12No. You know, I've been seeing it
- 45:14for a long time. I've been in that paddock what
- 45:17now 12 years. And you can see it in certain
- 45:21aspects, certain smaller teams or anything like that.
- 45:23Money does make the world go round and it's it's never going
- 45:26to change. It's always going to be the
- 45:28same. But it's, you know, they're
- 45:30trying to take on any, every sponsor.
- 45:32Jordan did it, though. He changed NASCAR.
- 45:35That's. Jordan.
- 45:36I know, but so we can't say never.
- 45:38We just got to find a Georgia motorcycle racing.
- 45:40You know what I'm saying, but that's a different story.
- 45:43But I'm just saying that like last car was like that for a
- 45:46long time and those dudes were whatever happened in that
- 45:49courtroom like that. If there's any video, anything
- 45:53that's a gazillion that's worth a lot because these dudes walked
- 45:57in their saying ain't never, never, never, never, never,
- 45:59never and came out and said and they all they let they let
- 46:02Jordan talk on, just nodded at their head with him.
- 46:05I don't know what he did in that room, bro, but we seen that and
- 46:09now a lot of other teams are eating because of that, right.
- 46:11So I mean it is might be possible.
- 46:14Don't know what's all I'm trying to say.
- 46:15I mean, it might be possible, but I mean it it's going to take
- 46:18somebody of that caliber and that nature to put a change into
- 46:23it. And at this point in time, we
- 46:25don't have anybody like that. I mean somebody that has that
- 46:28kind of backing, someone that kind of that kind of funding,
- 46:31that kind of power, that kind of nature.
- 46:33I mean we just don't have it. So it's going to be that way for
- 46:38a long time before we see a change.
- 46:40And, and he's also coming out more too, because we see him
- 46:42being being interviewed a lot more than he's ever been
- 46:45interviewed ever. So I mean, he's also playing the
- 46:47part. So it's not like he didn't give
- 46:49up something. I'm pretty sure Lewis, man, you
- 46:51know, you 2 want to be in that room and in that courtroom and
- 46:54hear what went down or you know, as long as the cash is coming
- 46:58in, you don't really care where it's coming from.
- 47:00No, no, I saw, I saw the you know, I saw the recaps in the
- 47:03news of what went down in the courtroom.
- 47:05What down went down in the courtroom is he proved this
- 47:07point that, you know, NASCAR is fixed.
- 47:10NASCAR is designed to make sure that the people at the top make
- 47:13their money and that the people that are actually going out
- 47:16there and putting on the show are mitigated to what they're
- 47:19mitigated to. Like this is what the contract
- 47:21is. And he was able to show that,
- 47:24you know, there's a monopoly there.
- 47:25There's an inability for teams to be profitable and they the
- 47:30only ones that are being profitable is NASCAR.
- 47:32And he went in there and proved it.
- 47:33And that's that's what changed NASCAR.
- 47:35The thing is, how do you do that?
- 47:37I mean, you said we we need a Michael Jordan.
- 47:39We had a Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan used to race.
- 47:41And you know what he realized racing motorcycles sucks.
- 47:45You don't make any money. The people that run it, you
- 47:48know, are not really doing a great job at that time.
- 47:51And I, you know, sometimes I'm a little critical of Motor
- 47:54America. Even though I know the people
- 47:56that are working there, I'm still a little critical of them
- 47:58because I still think that there's a lot of things being
- 48:00left on the table by Motor America.
- 48:03And, you know, I don't know who to blame.
- 48:05I don't know if it's complacency that it's the same people that
- 48:08are running it year in and year out.
- 48:10I don't know if it's complacency and just not wanting to go in
- 48:13that extra mile and try to find new sponsors or find sponsors
- 48:18that are out-of-the-box or, you know, for them to kind of leave
- 48:21it on the rider's shoulders to go out there and find new
- 48:25sponsors. I mean, I look at the sponsors
- 48:27and every year it's the same list of sponsors minus maybe 10
- 48:31or 12 sponsors that are new for the year.
- 48:33It's always the same exact who's who of, you know, giving free
- 48:38stuff to racers or sponsoring racers.
- 48:41And you know, every year I get an e-mail from them as well,
- 48:44hey, do you want to sponsor this?
- 48:46Do you want to sponsor that? And then they send me the
- 48:48metrics and it's like, why? Why would I sponsor this?
- 48:52I mean, you know, you just finally now have ATV deal that's
- 48:55viable because for how many years you were just, you know,
- 48:58streaming on YouTube and streaming on your own app.
- 49:00Now you finally have ATV deal that's somewhat viable.
- 49:04Let's see how it plays out. But again, how is this money
- 49:07that you're making here helping all the people down the road?
- 49:11If only you're making money, if only you're bringing in money at
- 49:14the top. But it's not trickling down.
- 49:16It's, it's like the UFC, like right now there's a big push in
- 49:20the UFC because the UFC just sold their rights to Paramount
- 49:22for like $7 billion. But you got dudes that are
- 49:26fighting for 10,000 to show, 10,000 to win.
- 49:29Do you know how much it cost to train for three months or four
- 49:33months to go to a fight to prep, to then get 10,000 bucks to show
- 49:39and maybe 10,000 bucks to win? You know, some of these guys are
- 49:44on welfare. They're they're using, they're
- 49:45getting weak just so they can fight in the UFC.
- 49:48But the UFC just sold for $7 billion, right?
- 49:52Like, how does that make any kind of sense?
- 49:54And now the UFC is trying to, you know, get the Ali rule
- 49:57changed so they can push through and, and get into boxing again
- 50:01to these other sports. Like, yo, you've already, you
- 50:04know, you, you made a great product.
- 50:06Now you need to pay your athletes.
- 50:08Even the women in the NWNBA had got a raise.
- 50:11And, you know, I have to say it. I don't watch the WNBA, man.
- 50:14I've seen more, you know, I've seen less bricks thrown up
- 50:18putting the projects up in New York.
- 50:21Come on man. Real talk yo.
- 50:23Real. Talk.
- 50:24I've been Alphabet City, man. There's there's less bricks it
- 50:27took to put all of Alphabet City up in New York then one year of
- 50:31NBA. Players, I see that many
- 50:35persons. Man, I'm here for the heat.
- 50:37Anybody who does this disagrees with me, then go in the comments
- 50:40section. Come on, I got to disagree with
- 50:42you. I see him, Duncan.
- 50:45You see him, Duncan? Come on.
- 50:50Hey. I've seen that.
- 50:53I've seen a high score girl dunk.
- 50:54She's 62 and she's coming out of the sophomore.
- 50:57I'll send you the video. I'll say the last 10 years, the
- 51:00last 7-8 years of the MWNBA, it's been kind of fun to watch.
- 51:05That's all I got to say. I mean, is it where the NBA is
- 51:08at? No, they should be, they should
- 51:09be, they should be paid based on what they're bringing in.
- 51:12Like you say the number. I mean, and I and I, and I know
- 51:15they don't say that when, when like I'm, I'm not trying to turn
- 51:17that, that kind of show, but where they talk about pay me
- 51:20what you owe me kind of thing. It's just kind of like when you
- 51:23get them numbers, then they should pay you what you owe you,
- 51:25but you create them numbers. We can't pay you.
- 51:27That's not that's, that's EBT or whatever, Lewis.
- 51:30And here and here's the thing, Motor America viewership is
- 51:33limited by Motor America. If Motor America doesn't go out
- 51:37of their way to try to expand viewership, to try to find new
- 51:40avenues to promote themselves, then guess what?
- 51:43Everybody that rides in Motor America is limited by the
- 51:46exposure of Motor America. Is it my job as a rider to go
- 51:50out there and try to promote Motor America when Motor America
- 51:53isn't doing it themselves? No, I listen.
- 51:57I I. Agree.
- 51:58If that's the case, I'm going to get the money.
- 52:00I'm going to put it in my pocket.
- 52:01Hey, you want to be my sponsor? This is how much it's going to
- 52:03cost. As.
- 52:06A writer. I can tell you, Luis, Luis is
- 52:09dead on. He's dead on, man.
- 52:11I mean, we, we pay to be the clowns in the circus, you know,
- 52:16and you know, we're putting on the show and, and we legit pay
- 52:18to put on the show and the sponsors, you know, try to get
- 52:21exposure. And unfortunately, if there's
- 52:23not a bunch of extra content happening in the live show
- 52:27itself, we don't get that exposure.
- 52:29There's just not enough time in a 30 minute Sprint race.
- 52:33You know, super bike race is 32 minutes.
- 52:36You know, they don't they don't have enough time to go through
- 52:38the pack like they do in a three hour NASCAR race and and
- 52:41highlight somebody and talk about, you know, here's 10th
- 52:44through 15th battle and here's the next guy.
- 52:47They don't have time to go down and talk to a crew chief or
- 52:50somebody like that. There's just not enough time in
- 52:52the program. So unfortunately in that aspect,
- 52:55if that's where they're 99% of the riders, legit 99, they pay
- 53:01to be, and even the Hayden Gillums as well, they're paying
- 53:04to be there, you know, and we don't have a billionaire like we
- 53:07don't have a Michael Jordan. There's a couple millionaires in
- 53:09the paddock for sure, you know, but there's not a billionaire
- 53:12bringing in anything. So, but even the millionaires in
- 53:15the paddock, they're worried about their little circle inside
- 53:19the paddock. They're not really doing
- 53:21anything to expose to make that circle bigger.
- 53:24You know not. And if you look at some of those
- 53:26setups, they're, it looks like a freaking flea market.
- 53:29You know, you got all this money and, and it's set up like a, a
- 53:33damn flea market, man. Yeah, so, and again, this is
- 53:38maybe where Moto America can get involved and say, hey, these are
- 53:41the top 12 teams, here's what we would like you to do.
- 53:45We'll actually split some of the cost with you so there can be
- 53:48some uniformity in the way that we look.
- 53:51It's great that we have 10 rigs, but not every rig looks the
- 53:54same. Not every setup outside the rig
- 53:56look the same. Like there's some people that
- 53:58have great setups, beautiful rigs, everything like that.
- 54:01I'll give a tacky Yamaha a little bit of credit because I
- 54:03know Reese busts his ass putting that that that that kid up.
- 54:07They got, they got a nice little, you know, hospitality
- 54:11area. They've got their garage.
- 54:13You look at the, you know, the Harley-Davidson bagger team,
- 54:16they've got a beautiful set up. But then you look at some of
- 54:19these other teams, they have a rig and then behind the rig,
- 54:21they got a 10 by 10 or a 10 by 12 pop up canopy.
- 54:25Like, yo, what the hell is this man?
- 54:27You know, they're selling T-shirts out of a 10 by 10 next
- 54:30to their and it's like, yo, this is where Moto America can come
- 54:34together and say, hey, instead of all of you individually
- 54:36selling your T-shirts, we're going to make AT shirt booth
- 54:40like we do in Moto GP, all the T-shirts come to us.
- 54:43We sell all the T-shirts. We keep a small percentage just
- 54:46for the work of putting up the the, the one consolidated vendor
- 54:50area. And then we spread the money
- 54:53back based on the skews. So if you give me these skews,
- 54:55anything that sells in these skews at the end of the week,
- 54:58there's guys that didn't get paid for six months last year
- 55:00after wins for winning. I got 1099.
- 55:05I didn't get my check in private.
- 55:07Yeah, look at that. Like, that's crazy, man.
- 55:10That's crazy that you're a professional sports league and
- 55:13dudes are knocking on your door three months after they won.
- 55:16Like, Sarah, can I please have my food?
- 55:19I'm hungry. I'm hungry.
- 55:20What the? Fuck.
- 55:24This ain't Oliver Twist. I don't need more porridge.
- 55:26I need my porridge now. I won last week.
- 55:29I want my check this week. Yeah, because that's.
- 55:31What I won't show up next week? The.
- 55:33Entertainment was supercross or something like that.
- 55:35You know, same thing. Just just like how you were
- 55:37saying those those riders don't sell trucks for our T-shirts out
- 55:40of their truck. It's all in a merch truck.
- 55:44And if you want Tomac shirt, you want Hunter shirt, it's all
- 55:47right there. And you know what merch Motor
- 55:49America sells out of their truck?
- 55:50Motor American Merch. Yeah, and they give it away at
- 55:53the end of the year for $3 a piece.
- 55:54Yeah, Like, come on, man. Like there's there's little
- 55:58things that we could be done that would just bring a little
- 56:02bit more professionalism and help all the teams make a little
- 56:06bit more money. Even if it's a minimal amount.
- 56:08There's still just ways to make the show better, ways to make
- 56:12sure that every team gets a little bit more money, ways to
- 56:15bring everybody together so that there's more consolidation and
- 56:19that the wealth goes out. Because again, we, we want the
- 56:21paddock to be accessible to the fans.
- 56:24We want people to go up to a ride or be like, hey, can I take
- 56:27a picture with you? We want all these things, but we
- 56:29also need to look like we're professional.
- 56:32And right now it looks like a a a glorified club race in some in
- 56:36some areas. So in this what what I'm
- 56:39hearing, it sounds like it's more organizational than it is
- 56:42fans. You were talking about this
- 56:43earlier. You said it's not the fans.
- 56:46It's not, it's not the fans we got.
- 56:48The fans are there. They're they're there.
- 56:50Lewis is 100% right. There's little small things that
- 56:54Motor America needs to adjust and fix just to make it a little
- 56:59bit more professional. Because if you actually go to a
- 57:02lot of the rounds, you damn near can't walk around.
- 57:06Like you go to Rd. America, you go to like Ohio.
- 57:10I mean, damn it, Jersey last year, I'm from there and I've
- 57:15never they were parking at the other track to come to the one
- 57:19track to watch. So the fan base is there.
- 57:23It's there. It's just with Moto America
- 57:26itself, the club you need, I mean the organization, just give
- 57:30it a little bit more a professional look, that's it.
- 57:33And it will, it will turn itself around and 100% because if you
- 57:38actually look at like Supercross, or I say it all the
- 57:40time, you look at Supercross, Moto GP, what is it?
- 57:43It's nothing but a damn show. That's all it is.
- 57:45It just put on a show and that's all you have to do.
- 57:49Right, right. So is it, is it a matter of, you
- 57:52know, like any business, is it time for people who are a little
- 57:56bit larger to step in and help out?
- 57:58Because you know, with any business you always need some
- 58:00outside money at some point to get to the next level.
- 58:02Is is Motor America in this in the current state is where it's
- 58:06at and now they need outside. Age.
- 58:09Investors or whatever to take it to the next level to bring it
- 58:12to, to start to bring it to the levels of of motocross.
- 58:19No, I mean, there's you, yes and no.
- 58:23There's actual new people that's in there that left like certain
- 58:26organizations that are very good at media and there's you need
- 58:31media and you need investors. That's the two top things.
- 58:34You need more media in there that like a young fresh look
- 58:39that actually will know what they're like.
- 58:41Hey, this is what we need to do. This is the to cater to the fans
- 58:46is right to cater to the fans. You need to cater to them.
- 58:49Just put on a show, you know, the younger, the younger crowd
- 58:53and you know, the investors to actually invest a little bit
- 58:56more money to actually be able to purchase certain things.
- 58:59Like he's like Lewis said, we just got the a good TV package
- 59:03finally now. So it's like, all right, let's
- 59:05see where it goes. But now you need more investors
- 59:07than actually invest in certain little things that we actually
- 59:10need. And at the track, you know, if
- 59:12you look at like you go to GP and they had a lot of venues
- 59:16there, like a lot of, you know, merch where you can buy certain
- 59:20things you can do. We don't have that kind of
- 59:22actual setup that we can do there at Mode America.
- 59:25They need that. Fans want to come and you want
- 59:28to be, they just want to be part of something.
- 59:30A lot of them guys that went to GP, all they want to do is just
- 59:34be part say, yeah, I wear a Ducati shirt, I'm part of
- 59:36Ducati. No, you're not.
- 59:37But they just want to be part of something, that's all.
- 59:39They just want to Rep their brand, Rep their their, their
- 59:43rider and be part of something. Right and and is is it like an
- 59:47identity crisis because you know, when I tell people about
- 59:50you know, motorcycle racing, I always say motor America is the
- 59:54equivalent of the NBA of motorcycle racing in the US.
- 59:56It's the highest level you can do right is is it identity
- 1:00:01crisis where they're not realizing the status they have?
- 1:00:04I mean, we have, you know, like when people.
- 1:00:07I think, I think that's the problem is you think they're the
- 1:00:11NBA, they're the WNBA. We don't have an NBA in the USA.
- 1:00:16Type of. Racing we really don't like.
- 1:00:22This is supposed to be the pinnacle of US Rd. racing.
- 1:00:25And it's not the NBA, it's not the NHL, it's not the MLB, it's
- 1:00:31not the NFL. It's the CFL, the WNBA.
- 1:00:37It's, I mean, there's college sports that are better put
- 1:00:40together than motorcycle racing. Yeah, he's not wrong.
- 1:00:45I mean, if you even look at sponsorship wise, like where is
- 1:00:48our energy drink guy? Where is our Red Bull athlete?
- 1:00:51Where is our monster athlete? We got a billion mission
- 1:00:56tortilla athletes. You can only eat so many
- 1:00:59tortillas, by the way. Their.
- 1:01:00Chips. Suck too, the tortillas.
- 1:01:04Are great actually. I like mission chips, the ones
- 1:01:06that are shaped like little motorcycles.
- 1:01:08I like the. Little motorcycles and Indycars
- 1:01:10or Formula One cars, whatever, you know.
- 1:01:12But yeah, where where is that athlete?
- 1:01:14I mean, everywhere else has that right.
- 1:01:17Literally everywhere. It doesn't matter if you're a
- 1:01:18triathlete diver. I mean, you're, you're a hot air
- 1:01:23balloon racer. You get a Red Bull sponsorship
- 1:01:26and we don't have any rider that's even sponsored by Red
- 1:01:29Bull or Monster anymore. So even those big companies that
- 1:01:32are so well diverse are not invested in the Moto America and
- 1:01:37there's so there's a problem there.
- 1:01:39So yeah, I I disagree, Louis, because I had Eric Woods on an
- 1:01:42interview and these guys are making seven figures Once Upon a
- 1:01:46time, so definitely. Bigger Once Upon a time.
- 1:01:48Definitely bigger than the all the leagues that you mentioned,
- 1:01:52but like WWE and all Wrestling, when they took their dive, they
- 1:01:55figured it out. So is it well situation again,
- 1:01:58is it an identity crisis because you know, they are bigger than
- 1:02:01in the in the fans eyes. It is like the NBA regardless of
- 1:02:06like I know, like I said earlier, when when you know, we
- 1:02:09used to get in backstage passes and all that and hanging out on
- 1:02:12stage while artists and performance is different to be
- 1:02:14in in a in the crowd as a fan, because you know, you got these
- 1:02:17perks. So I mean, is it you know, so is
- 1:02:20is is that what it is it just identity crisis still, because,
- 1:02:24like I said, Once Upon a time they were great.
- 1:02:26We and, and it's still great as far from a rider's perspective,
- 1:02:29right? But we we're more talking about
- 1:02:31business and and, and marketing and, and how to have people
- 1:02:34sustain the sport long term. People could make 7 figures in
- 1:02:42the 90s and early, mid early 2000s because the motorcycle
- 1:02:46industry in the US was blowing up.
- 1:02:48You know Suzuki was selling like a million motorcycles a year.
- 1:02:54You know you could throw a rock and hit 17 GSXRS before the rock
- 1:02:58hit the ground at most parking lots at bike nights.
- 1:03:00Now you go to a bike night, you throw a Rock, You might hit 10
- 1:03:03bikes. You know, it's not the same.
- 1:03:06It's not the same that it used to be.
- 1:03:07It really isn't. Man.
- 1:03:08You, you shake your head all you want, but even though it's
- 1:03:12growing again, it's starting to regrow because I do see a lot
- 1:03:15more young people coming into the motorcycling now.
- 1:03:18There was a good 1520 years that it was a barren wasteland of
- 1:03:23just guys in their mid 20s getting into their mid 40s
- 1:03:27without new riders coming in, and guys that were in their 40s
- 1:03:31getting into their 70s without new riders coming in.
- 1:03:34Now in the past, maybe like 7 years or eight years since
- 1:03:37COVID, we've seen more young riders come in because COVID
- 1:03:41gave us like the artificial boost.
- 1:03:43Everybody got money. Hey, I've always wanted to buy a
- 1:03:45motorcycle and now it's my time for my motorcycle.
- 1:03:47I can go out, I can do it by myself.
- 1:03:49I don't have to wear a mask. Nobody's going to stop me, and
- 1:03:52hopefully we can grow off that, but it's going to take time to
- 1:03:55grow off that. But for how many years did we
- 1:03:57just kind of meander around? We went from Motor America AMA
- 1:04:01to DMG, who tried to turn it into NASCAR and didn't turn into
- 1:04:05NASCAR it it destroyed the sport for years.
- 1:04:08Then we went to, you know, finally we went to Motor
- 1:04:11America, which was bought by people that are invested in
- 1:04:15motorcycle racing. But now we're pretty deep into
- 1:04:18this Motor America experiment and we're still, we're still
- 1:04:21kind of flat man. We've grown a little bit.
- 1:04:24We've, you know, introduced different series, the bagger
- 1:04:26series and this and that. But even the bagger series, yes,
- 1:04:29it's bringing in a new crowd and it's bringing, it's giving
- 1:04:32riders an opportunity to make money.
- 1:04:34That's my thing. You know, at the end of the day,
- 1:04:36I was like to see riders have an opportunity to make money.
- 1:04:39But when I see six baggers lining up, I'm like, this sucks,
- 1:04:42dude. Like you're racing for best of
- 1:04:456, yeah. And.
- 1:04:49You know that the Harleys and Indians that the 2 factory teams
- 1:04:52are going to put all their money into those bikes.
- 1:04:54So anybody that's on like the satellite ish bikes, it's not
- 1:04:59the same man. Right, right.
- 1:05:02I I feel Reese, you were going to say something.
- 1:05:05I mean, I agree with Lewis on 100%.
- 1:05:07I mean, coming from, you know, many years ago when I used to
- 1:05:11work in a dealership and I still know a lot of my, my district
- 1:05:13managers, they'll tell you like it did take a dive and then it
- 1:05:18did come back with COVID. But you see a lot of young kids
- 1:05:21nowadays buying the smaller bikes they're actually buying.
- 1:05:24Like I'll use Yamaha for an example, like the R threes, the
- 1:05:28R sevens, the GSX 8 hundreds. They're they're buying a small
- 1:05:33bike. They're doing like a lot of the
- 1:05:34Europeans are doing where they buy the small bikes where they
- 1:05:36can commute to work or they could do that all day and use
- 1:05:39them every day. That's helping the industry grow
- 1:05:42big time. And you know, it's it's weird to
- 1:05:46say like we all came out, we were by the six hundreds and
- 1:05:481000. The kids now are buying the
- 1:05:50smaller bikes and then finally later on growing into the bigger
- 1:05:54ones. But it does help.
- 1:05:56And then, like I said, used to work at the dealership.
- 1:05:58The sport never really died because you it's still there.
- 1:06:02But the problem is 1 the banks suck 2 the pricing of these
- 1:06:07bikes suck. You know you know, I used to
- 1:06:10remember buying an O8R1 and I bought it for damn near almost 8
- 1:06:14grand. Now I'm trying to buy an R1 for
- 1:06:1620 grand like I'm up there Ducati prices.
- 1:06:19That's insane. You know, so that hurts the
- 1:06:21industry right there a lot. But it's, I always used to say,
- 1:06:26and coming in us as consumers, we are our own worst enemy.
- 1:06:30You got everybody out there that saw us race and won a race.
- 1:06:34And I want this and a bike. I want this.
- 1:06:36And now when the manufacturer put it out there and they put it
- 1:06:39to you, I don't want it because it costs too much.
- 1:06:41Well, that's what you wanted. I didn't want to go buy it.
- 1:06:43I want it in there when I I get it from the factory.
- 1:06:47Now you got it, but now you don't want to spend the money.
- 1:06:49And that's what happens. And they keep giving you new and
- 1:06:51new stuff and now you don't want it.
- 1:06:54It's just like how when Yamaha brought that was that the R1 S
- 1:06:58out, nobody wanted it because they was like, oh, this is
- 1:07:02cheap. I'd rather buy the R1 the the
- 1:07:04standard R1. But so we are.
- 1:07:08We as consumers are our worst enemy, Unfortunately, yeah.
- 1:07:12OK. All right.
- 1:07:13Do you do you agree with that high Rev?
- 1:07:16Yeah, 100%. We want all the cool tech, but
- 1:07:19the tech comes with the price and now you see guys like CF
- 1:07:23Moto coming to the play. Don't Chinese man you, you get,
- 1:07:29you get. Skewered you get skewed with
- 1:07:33them Chinese. I'm telling you, they used to be
- 1:07:38the middle man and now they are the man.
- 1:07:40Unfortunately, they are coming in hot with their stuff.
- 1:07:44They don't have to upsell it. Whatever.
- 1:07:46They're coming at price points, they're coming with cool tech.
- 1:07:49Reliability is still maybe a question because we're still so
- 1:07:52new. You know, we don't have 15-10
- 1:07:55years. We only have 10 years of
- 1:07:57reliability to kind of prove their their track record yet.
- 1:08:00But they're coming out with really cool stuff.
- 1:08:03You see them with Valentin just kicking ass and world super.
- 1:08:07Yeah. So that's just going to help
- 1:08:08their 'cause I mean, it does look like an R1 Ducati slash BMW
- 1:08:14swing arm on a little 800, you know, but.
- 1:08:18What do you think that that that meeting's like after losing to
- 1:08:21ZX motor in Ducati or NB Augusta or Yamaha?
- 1:08:27It's common man. They're they they could just cut
- 1:08:29out. They used to be the middle man
- 1:08:31right? Every factory uses Chinese
- 1:08:33parts. I mean, Honda has 23 different,
- 1:08:36different factories throughout the world from Mexico to China
- 1:08:39to Thailand to here in the US to obviously Japan and Italy and
- 1:08:43and Brazil everywhere else, right?
- 1:08:45So now China is like, we'll just sell it ourselves direct to the
- 1:08:50consumer. Right, right.
- 1:08:54I mean, this is the way supply chain works, you know.
- 1:08:57This is supply chain one O 1. If you go through every single
- 1:09:00part on every motorcycle, you're going to find probably 20 to 30%
- 1:09:06of the parts on most motorcycles made today, regardless of the
- 1:09:09manufacturer, came from China. In one way or another, they came
- 1:09:13from China. 100%. And, you know, if China's
- 1:09:17already producing all these parts, then they just got to put
- 1:09:20all the parts together themselves and make a bike.
- 1:09:23You know, they're already have everything they need.
- 1:09:25You know, this is the way supply chain works.
- 1:09:27You know, Ford trucks made in America, built in Mexico with
- 1:09:30Chinese parts. Like that's, you know, in
- 1:09:33everything that we do. And every day, everybody
- 1:09:36supplies everybody else with parts to build what we need.
- 1:09:40And China just happens to be one of the biggest suppliers in the
- 1:09:43world for certain materials. I mean, they and they have
- 1:09:47enough space where they have the, the environment to actually
- 1:09:51mine these materials. They can make steel, they can
- 1:09:53make certain polycarbonates right there.
- 1:09:56They can produce all these raw materials.
- 1:09:58They can make silica, they can make, you know, microchips and
- 1:10:01processors and you know, they have copper there.
- 1:10:04They can make their own wire and they have the manufacturing
- 1:10:07capability. That's why everybody looks to
- 1:10:09them to buy parts. Yep, A. 100% I mean, I bought
- 1:10:13this shirt from Motegi Japan from the Honda collection hall
- 1:10:16in Motegi Japan myself. I bet you this shirt was built
- 1:10:20or made in Bangladesh, you know what I mean?
- 1:10:23So India will be the next country that comes out.
- 1:10:25I'm like Japan is now the the model you're going to see like
- 1:10:30KIRO come into the play and stuff like that.
- 1:10:33So it's coming, no? No doubt, no doubt, man.
- 1:10:38Well, I mean the time goes by fast guys.
- 1:10:41I think it's a good place to end.
- 1:10:43We'll you know, I want to thank all the fans, all the folks that

- 1:12:26You know, I've gotten a bunch of questions and I try to like
- 1:12:28throw my answers in our, you know, when we're just talking
- 1:12:33generally. So I, you know, I don't
- 1:12:34specifically point out the question that I was asked, but I
- 1:12:37try to throw it out there. But yeah, the interacting with
- 1:12:40the fans online and in person, I mean, we, you know, we see this
- 1:12:44channel growing, We've seen the metrics, we've seen just, you
- 1:12:47know, the fan reaction. So it's great, man.
- 1:12:50This is, this is what we wanted and now we got it.
- 1:12:53So we can't complain. You can always come up to the
