[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, sisters, and welcome back to the pretty little podcast where you're hosts!
• 0:06
[SPEAKER_01]: You literally left me out to dry and so it makes me so I would not do it.
• 0:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: I can't do it.
• 0:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's not worth it.
• 0:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: And I can.
• 0:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not like I'm doing my my perfect no talk no access.
• 0:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you like that would be embarrassing if you were.
• 0:23
[SPEAKER_00]: You're doing Troy and the parents.
• 0:25
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you could try it.
• 0:26
[SPEAKER_00]: No, I can't you could play the game.
• 0:29
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to work.
• 0:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if it wasn't clear by the party, people were out of two dots, Phoebe, um, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh uh, uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh
• 0:57
[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, I just watched it twice.
• 0:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I, and what's crazy to me when I'm watching Mike's mic, and I'm gonna get into my thoughts a little bit here in a second, but not too much, because I haven't finished it.
• 1:10
[SPEAKER_01]: But what's weird is like, I'm watching it, and I'm like, okay, Mike's mic, and you and I are probably watched this show with the same level of intensity.
• 1:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know what I mean?
• 1:21
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, maybe not the same level of intensity, but we've written down every moment we've paused,
• 1:27
[SPEAKER_00]: But he, uh, something about his, he knows, he remembers every single second of that show.
• 1:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: What are his methods?
• 1:35
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what are your note-taking methods?
• 1:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see the binder.
• 1:39
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not enough for me to have one of those.
• 1:40
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to know how he gets, I mean, is it all that sort of saying, like, I want to get inside that mind, and so we need to get him on the podcast, which I feel like we should be able to do.
• 1:49
[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we should be able to do that, but I don't know if he will ever come on this podcast.
• 1:56
[SPEAKER_01]: But I just feel like we should be able to.
• 1:58
[SPEAKER_01]: I've deemed him once or twice.
• 2:00
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I have, but I tagged him in our Instagram story last night.
• 2:04
[SPEAKER_01]: I will continue as I go on my journey because the thing is also, I'm L-O-L-A.
• 2:09
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm fully laughing out loud, but he also remembers that, like, there are things I'm like, oh, I could never have told you, like, it's a nice reminder, honestly, of certain plot holes that, like, you totally forget about it, or it's almost, like, that's what's so impressive about how he's able to keep track of even that.
• 2:27
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
• 2:30
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing, because I was like, did you, are you just realizing that as you're saying it or like, have you been keeping a long being still?
• 2:38
[SPEAKER_00]: She's going to be a computer must know.
• 2:41
[SPEAKER_01]: I know it's really it's really impressive and and the way he breaks it down is great he's hilarious but he's still like no nonsense like he gets right to the point which I appreciate because I mean hello there are like 200 episodes of the show so he could take forever if he wanted to but he doesn't it's very easy to follow but he has me cracking up with some of the shitty says like what did he say he was like um
• 3:08
[SPEAKER_01]: Every time there's like a bad wig, he's like, and the costume department's never seeing heaven and like just give it to you on He's like all the pedophiles crusties and calling all the girls go boss She go boss to watch Have you ever watched any of his stuff before no no watch any of it.
• 3:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: I was a love house baby.
• 3:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god after everything He's definitely you go.
• 3:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: He's so funny.
• 3:31
[SPEAKER_00]: All his videos are so funny.
• 3:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I've never because in my mind It was like
• 3:37
[SPEAKER_01]: And I realized it's not, but in my mind, it was like that's the entry point to Mike's Mike is pretty little Liars because I kind of thought that was like his main thing.
• 3:45
[SPEAKER_00]: And then when I went to his YouTube page last night I was like, whoa, he is so much my eyes being Mike's Mike viewer and then him deciding to get a dive into pretty little
• 3:55
[SPEAKER_01]: So when did he do this?
• 3:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously the entire show was out.
• 3:58
[SPEAKER_00]: And while ago, I mean, I think I was early in college.
• 4:02
[SPEAKER_00]: So before we did the podcast, I think, or maybe a round.
• 4:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, it was definitely before the podcast.
• 4:07
[SPEAKER_01]: When did you start watching his channel?
• 4:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: Probably high school.
• 4:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
• 4:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the YouTube world is one unless you were a beauty vlogger.
• 4:17
[SPEAKER_01]: I was not in that space.
• 4:19
  [SPEAKER_01]: I just wasn't.
• 4:20
[SPEAKER_01]: But asked me anything about Tati Westbrook.
• 4:22
[SPEAKER_00]: I can answer that in college for APLang.
• 4:27
[SPEAKER_00]: We had to do like a something.
• 4:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember.
• 4:30
[SPEAKER_00]: We had to do for some reason.
• 4:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Dan was in my group and we decided to recreate those videos and Dan had to be James Charles and we had someone who had the had the the like biases or the sister sweatshirt or something so we put Dan in that and gave him like a safety pin earring and like had his hair look like James Charles and I was taught to you us broke.
• 4:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: What the fuck?
• 5:00
[SPEAKER_00]: How did this never come across my desk, Phoebe?
• 5:02
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I knew you knew what was going on when the by-sister stuff happened.
• 5:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, she's like the number one.
• 5:09
[SPEAKER_00]: She was like the number one.
• 5:10
[SPEAKER_00]: I know, but she wasn't really about her.
• 5:14
[SPEAKER_00]: That was my introduction to her, really.
• 5:16
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 5:18
[SPEAKER_01]: I just remember that I had like a few vloggers who I really liked, but and she wasn't even necessarily one of them, but it was really fun watching her put on makeup.
• 5:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I just really liked watching her put on makeup.
• 5:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I liked her whole setup.
• 5:32
[SPEAKER_01]: I liked the whole thing.
• 5:33
[SPEAKER_01]: But like I didn't really care for her.
• 5:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I was just really her application and like she was really good at it.
• 5:38
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't care for anybody in that scandal, but it was a blast to recreate.
• 5:42
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, did you like make the videos?
• 5:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 5:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: Find them.
• 5:47
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know where they could be literally start looking.
• 5:50
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean like I have a zero I even was in something that looks like her like Like who did you make up?
• 5:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know she doesn't have it.
• 5:59
[SPEAKER_01]: She doesn't well, then that's crazy That wasn't great because you possibly gotten Well, Phoebe hello, we did we're being a you're being a personality Her whole thing make up.
• 6:10
[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't have any made a dad.
• 6:11
[SPEAKER_00]: I've made up on I Don't think you let us put makeup on them
• 6:16
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.
• 6:17
[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, yeah, I'll let you put the ear that I'll let you tape that you're into my ear.
• 6:20
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's fine.
• 6:21
[SPEAKER_00]: He did get a little bit bullied for it.
• 6:23
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, by this one asshole kid.
• 6:26
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, okay, then you're doing something right.
• 6:29
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
• 6:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, if you were getting bullied, if you were not getting bullied, you weren't doing enough.
• 6:33
[SPEAKER_01]: You weren't speaking out and off.
• 6:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: You weren't being yourself.
• 6:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, because anybody who was getting bullied was a real one.
• 6:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's still holds true.
• 6:42
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's still true today.
• 6:44
[SPEAKER_01]: I would say I mean unless you're being bullied and then like you turn into the bully and like a really creepy way, then like you deserve it from the get go I just think that that VB like
• 6:56
[SPEAKER_01]: That's probably why I never heard about it because I would have said no, I didn't know that you knew who taught to you us book was that's crazy You were so checked out of me.
• 7:04
[SPEAKER_00]: I guess you were so well you were fully in college when this all happened like I was a senior in high school I mean, I'm a graduated from college.
• 7:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: I love makeup.
• 7:13
[SPEAKER_01]: I know, but I just of course I would know about it
• 7:16
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just saying that I would have said, well, let me come home and do your makeup for this.
• 7:21
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're going to do it for real.
• 7:22
[SPEAKER_01]: And the fact that I'm not a stitch of makeup on, I mean, you miss the point.
• 7:29
[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that might have been when I debuted a middle part.
• 7:31
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I probably parted my hair in the middle.
• 7:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
• 7:33
[SPEAKER_00]: I even had my, my knees up the way that she does in the video, where she, she's sitting in that chair, and you can see it.
• 7:40
  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, bragging.
• 7:41
  [SPEAKER_00]: And yep, thank you.
• 7:43
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's in that like almost Kyle Richards.
• 7:46
[SPEAKER_00]: What do they call the, the things that right Kyle Richards wears around the house?
• 7:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: House call it, I don't know.
• 7:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: Like Moomos.
• 7:54
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the Moomos.
• 7:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, yeah, yeah.
• 7:55
[SPEAKER_01]: But what's the actual name?
• 7:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Like a night, it's like an icon?
• 7:59
[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not the name I'm thinking, you know.
• 8:02
[SPEAKER_00]: That's a moom, like that kind of like polyester floral kind of like flowy.
• 8:07
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a name for it, and it's actually gonna make me so what does that mean?
• 8:12
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know it.
• 8:13
  [SPEAKER_00]: No, what?
• 8:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
• 8:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: Taften.
• 8:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: Hurry.
• 8:16
  [SPEAKER_01]: A caftan.
• 8:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: Ah, yes.
• 8:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
• 8:19
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 8:19
[SPEAKER_01]: When I imagine that, I imagine taught to you.
• 8:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's where I got actually.
• 8:22
  [SPEAKER_01]: She loved a caftan.
• 8:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and I don't really know the right way to say that, but I think that we just took a fine job.
• 8:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: What did I say?
• 8:30
[SPEAKER_00]: I just emphasis on the tan.
• 8:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: Kaftan.
• 8:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: What did I say?
• 8:36
  [SPEAKER_00]: Kaftan.
• 8:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, you clocked that.
• 8:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
• 8:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so anyway, I'm just having such a good time watching Mike's mukbang and I think it's so fun.
• 8:47
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I can't believe it's why I mean, I guess you had to wait.
• 8:50
[SPEAKER_01]: I had to wait because again, in my mind, this was like the entry point to him, like I literally did.
• 8:56
[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought that like all his fame.
• 8:58
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, no, you know, but I also thought from like all of his fame was from this.
• 9:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I thought his pretty little eyes is or what got him on the freaking map as main fame Well, I mean, I was watching his videos.
• 9:10
[SPEAKER_00]: I think before he even hit a hundred k subscribe.
• 9:13
[SPEAKER_00]: No Okay, name five mics.
• 9:16
[SPEAKER_00]: My next video is an art the pretty little.
• 9:19
[SPEAKER_00]: I was loved him because I love anybody with that accent makes me laugh
• 9:25
[SPEAKER_01]: just he is funny the way he talks the way he says shit and i was like since we're talking about the finale today i was wondering if i should go watch it's finale video but i was like no because by that point he'll have other little nicknames and inside jokes and even though this is like reddit series like i just need to exactly and and that was another thing i was thinking like what we need to as early talk to him about mammalia i think and i thought i'm just obsessed but like
• 9:50
[SPEAKER_01]: he didn't catch well we kind of are not people being like hey this is this memory idea sort of driving my next rewatch and I'm like I don't know what said that you'll really find yes multiple people have said this and I just want you guys to know as it's not there might have all been in my head it might have all been in our own see like could be I want to see I want to see memory edits I want to see memory memory memory
• 10:12
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's, please, Emily, at it's, please, that are related for our girls.
• 10:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: Good, I'm Capcom.
• 10:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Get on, I know you have Capcom premium.
• 10:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I wanna see them, Emily, at it.
• 10:21
[SPEAKER_00]: I wanna see, like someone's gonna be, you know, have you been seeing the, the Roderick from Diary the Wimpy Kid and Regina?
• 10:29
  [SPEAKER_00]: At it's, no.
• 10:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Regina George?
• 10:32
  [SPEAKER_00]: No.
• 10:32
[SPEAKER_00]: They've, there's this one to try to have this gone viral and they've started to make videos as if Rodrick and Regina like had like something going on and some alternate universe in high school.
• 10:42
[SPEAKER_01]: So they're able to and as Rodrick the Wimpy kid.
• 10:45
[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, he's like Gothelder brother.
• 10:48
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
• 10:49
[SPEAKER_00]: I never, those were, but basically what you could do the way they're doing is like they'll take different clips and they're not even just using mean girls directly because they're even like they meet up 10 years down the line and it's like Rachel make atoms and like a different movie and they're like crazy way
• 11:09
[SPEAKER_00]: They've dropped the kind of one that you tell the story that we've told, where like Emily's is there a scene of shameful and about through somewhere listening to a conversation could could you splice that with when Melissa and Hannah are fighting like we said that's when Emily oh my god Emily was like oh my gosh I have a chance if somebody makes this happen
• 11:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, then you find it.
• 11:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Rich is a weight you.
• 11:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, okay.
• 11:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I, he says all of that.
• 11:37
  [SPEAKER_01]: No, you five dollars.
• 11:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I say Rich is a weight you.
• 11:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And what I mean by that is, like, you'll get some sort of a prize, but it in that prize.
• 11:43
  [SPEAKER_00]: If I'm not sure.
• 11:44
  [SPEAKER_01]: If I'm not sure.
• 11:45
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to teach her.
• 11:46
  [SPEAKER_01]: We'll give you merch.
• 11:47
  [SPEAKER_01]: We'll give you merch.
• 11:47
[SPEAKER_01]: If somebody makes this, and they're like, hey, that's not enough.
• 11:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, you're at four hours and hours of work.
• 11:53
  [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, okay.
• 11:53
[SPEAKER_01]: Do it for the love of the game.
• 11:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, hello.
• 11:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't mention it on pod and you're gonna choose it.
• 11:59
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll post it on pod and we'll credit you.
• 12:02
[SPEAKER_01]: And like, what could be more enticing than that, really?
• 12:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, well today, we are gonna dive back into that finale.
• 12:10
[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, we did our recap.
• 12:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Then we talked to Sarah Shepard and like we talked about the finale, but our time with the queen was limited, so like we had to kind of prioritize.
• 12:20
[SPEAKER_01]: And so now, I feel like Phoebe and I can really
• 12:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Get into how we really felt about the finale, and I would just love to hear like unsencered from you Like truly what was the reaction of the time watching it because that is it that is a moment in time that I just Was not present for and I'm so mad about it because I feel like it would have been an amazing time to be On social media came in them and so we can all kind of look back and be like what did we think of it?
• 12:49
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we weren't happy, but I think it was kind of like none of us wanted to admit we weren't happy with it.
• 12:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, totally.
• 12:56
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it fell at the time.
• 12:58
[SPEAKER_00]: It felt like kind of a slap in the face a little bit to people because I don't know if this was ever confirmed, but the theory at the time was it wasn't supposed to be Alexandria.
• 13:12
[SPEAKER_00]: and people had started to catch on to whatever it was going to be.
• 13:15
[SPEAKER_00]: And Marlene early on had like really said that the fans weren't going to be over to guess what it was.
• 13:22
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think she got so wrapped up and creating something that the fans literally could not guess that it cost her kind of the fun of it.
• 13:32
[SPEAKER_00]: The fun of it was, first of all, it's like the Taylor Swift Easter eggs.
• 13:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's like,
• 13:37
[SPEAKER_00]: There are Swifties that get wrapped up in it and they love it and it's important to them.
• 13:40
[SPEAKER_00]: And then there are Swifties who don't even really know what the Easter eggs are or don't care to be doing that calculus.
• 13:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
• 13:46
[SPEAKER_00]: And so for this, it's like
• 13:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand.
• 13:52
[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like there were fans who were gonna figure it out and not as part of the fun of it.
• 13:58
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not for you to introduce a brand new character that nobody could have guessed.
• 14:02
[SPEAKER_00]: There were plenty of fans that were just watching it and it would have been a shock to them regardless.
• 14:08
[SPEAKER_00]: And then there are other fans who were trying to solve it out and it's a slap in the face that they're the most dedicated fans.
• 14:13
[SPEAKER_00]: There are the people who are the most invested in your show and now you've just been like, well, I don't want you to guess it.
• 14:18
[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to actually make it impossible for you to guess.
• 14:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, do you think that, like, do you think that she had like a different plan set out?
• 14:29
[SPEAKER_01]: And then she changed it last minute.
• 14:31
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what some people think.
• 14:33
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it wasn't necessarily so last minute that it was but like part of me is like maybe yeah because you throw that last episode and it's randomly a year in the future it kind of is a relevant to everything that happened in the rest of season seven other than just understanding who did Liars woman yeah except for the only thing that like and and I guess we do see Alex throughout the other thing I think it was a last-titch effort for season seven
• 14:59
[SPEAKER_01]: okay okay because i was gonna say like in the big article that came out this year they said the trojan had been working on it for like
• 15:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't want to say the wrong thing, but I want to say it was like 10 years or two years, not 10 years, trying to bring her to 10 years.
• 15:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, no, but in the article, like they said about something about how Troy and was trusted about that she knew about it and she'd known about it for like a long time.
• 15:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Because she had been working with a dialect coach, and I so badly, no, Phoebe, I know.
• 15:30
[SPEAKER_01]: I so badly wanted to bring this up.
• 15:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Last week was Sarah, but I was like, I just don't want to put her in a position where she feels like we've trapped her into some sort of like,
• 15:38
[SPEAKER_01]: evil thing, but there's no way Sarah thought that accent was was eating like and I'm sorry I when I read that she had been working with someone for like an extended amount of time I was floored.
• 15:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: I was a goga was a gast.
• 15:51
  [SPEAKER_01]: I was horrified honestly.
• 15:52
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna find the exact quote But that I'm like, you know, and if that's a lie that makes perfect sense to me because the accent does not reflect That amount of homework.
• 16:02
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know what it doesn't lie about it.
• 16:05
[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think that
• 16:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
• 16:10
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was a shitty ending.
• 16:11
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was kind of shitty to do the fans a little bit.
• 16:15
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it would have been way more fun if it was someone that we knew.
• 16:17
[SPEAKER_00]: And if we could I understand that with Alex, there were things that we could look back and be like, oh, that was Alex, not sponsored.
• 16:24
  [SPEAKER_00]: That is fun.
• 16:25
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's interesting.
• 16:25
[SPEAKER_00]: But, and maybe wanting to nod to the twins a bit.
• 16:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: I get it.
• 16:31
[SPEAKER_00]: But I just think introducing a brand new character in the last hour and a half of a show that's been on air for almost a decade is like
• 16:42
[SPEAKER_01]: it's frustrating yeah well one thing that i think is funny is like she marlene says and the article she's like it was never going to be a liar like we didn't want it to be one of them and i know that ria being a was one of the main theories and i just have to read it's like this back and forth from the hollowed reporter article because although like i know this is Lucy hailed it's not ria and i don't want to glue those two together but this is
• 17:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Was there potential for other people to be A, Lucy Helgos, wondering if I'm going to remember this ago.
• 17:17
[SPEAKER_01]: She goes 100% I thought Ari, I was going to be A in the end.
• 17:21
[SPEAKER_01]: More lean, the producers and the writers were very good at keeping the storylines and scripts under wraps.
• 17:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes you're getting the script days before shooting, so kept the mystery alive for us in real life as well.
• 17:31
[SPEAKER_01]: In my mind to kept thinking surely it's going to be Ari and the end.
• 17:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I think all of a sudden it's for our characters.
• 17:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Marlene King, it wasn't changed and it wasn't going to be her.
• 17:46
[SPEAKER_00]: And it wasn't going to be her.
• 17:48
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry that being the direct response to her.
• 17:53
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't changed and it wasn't going to be her.
• 17:56
[SPEAKER_01]: It was always a final destination that wasn't one of our four liars, but we had fun with it.
• 18:02
[SPEAKER_00]: But imagine the moment, let's just pretend for a second that Lou sees Arya in real life.
• 18:08
[SPEAKER_00]: And she finds out at the table read that Alex, like, she's finding out that AD is Alex Drake, and she's like, oh, it's not one of us.
• 18:19
[SPEAKER_00]: And then she finds out that Alex Drake is the identical specter and Trayne Bolasario gets to a totally B.A.
• 18:26
  [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, who's but who's playing Alex?
• 18:29
[SPEAKER_01]: But who's playing Alex Drake?
• 18:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Which actor because I don't I want to I don't we have a new person on that today like bring about like where are they and they're like oh It's actually and I've seen that in trying goes into her accent and she really makes it I'm gonna run into the day of all these things.
• 18:45
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, oh my god Yeah, they still haven't spoken and fortunately two actors have not spoken to this dead Who's he is suddenly like much closer with Ashley than she's ever been she's I think a accent like Ashley to do here
• 18:57
[SPEAKER_01]: I just wanted to give that to her when they know that I have a British accent on lock and that's something I have to say like I know that no shade Lucy Hale, I actually love this about you but I know that there was commentary about the accent by
• 19:12
[SPEAKER_01]: And they just know that they're buzzed because I just know, okay?
• 19:16
[SPEAKER_01]: And I know that Lucy hair was like, okay, everyone's like, okay, yeah, she looks like a Victorian doll, but I'm sorry.
• 19:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and I would never say this to her and I love her.
• 19:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: And I think she's so gifted.
• 19:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, she's such a gifted actress, but I just feel like, I don't, and maybe it's a dialect coach.
• 19:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, maybe it's not showing at all, but I just feel like, I kind of expect something different.
• 19:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it doesn't really, it sounds, doesn't sound good, it doesn't sound good.
• 19:40
[SPEAKER_01]: How long has she known how long has she known like that's that for sure you're a year I really wish I could find the exact thing, but they said she had known for a little while I think it was crazy
• 19:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
• 19:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
• 19:57
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I wasn't happy with the ending.
• 19:59
[SPEAKER_00]: I've grown to like it.
• 20:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I've grown to think it's cool and like whatever.
• 20:03
[SPEAKER_00]: And I do enjoy the looking back at when or the kind of getting to have fun when you watch it back and being like, was this Alice or Spencer?
• 20:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
• 20:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's fun.
• 20:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 20:13
  [SPEAKER_00]: Other than that.
• 20:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Why couldn't we have made it like,
• 20:17
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, so from my perspective, okay, like obviously, I've known forever that people look at this finale as like high camp, low key adjoke, like what the fuck vibes.
• 20:31
  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think that's fine.
• 20:32
  [SPEAKER_00]: Like that to me.
• 20:34
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's the writers.
• 20:35
[SPEAKER_00]: I had been going on it from that and yeah, that would be fine, but they weren't.
• 20:40
[SPEAKER_00]: They, they, they thought they were like,
• 20:44
  [SPEAKER_00]: But that's what's all so frustrating.
• 20:46
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like you guys don't insult the intelligence of your audience by trying to make us think that this is some incredible right ending to the show that isn't funny.
• 20:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: When I'm, yeah, that's the thing.
• 20:58
[SPEAKER_01]: Like when I, because I have this distance from it, we're like not watching it at the time and I wasn't in the thick of it when it was all like, you know, like looking back at the entire show, we see that the entire thing was so ridiculous.
• 21:11
[SPEAKER_01]: So for me, I'm like,
• 21:12
[SPEAKER_01]: What else would the finale be?
• 21:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Like the finale should be something that's like laugh out loud.
• 21:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: What the fuck?
• 21:19
[SPEAKER_01]: And saying because that is how the entire show feels, but I do feel like when we are watching it live, like it's like a joke I didn't fucking feel like that like it didn't feel like camp.
• 21:29
[SPEAKER_01]: It felt like this is this is a high stakes team drama And we will respect it as such, you know, he's like now we're able to see it for what it was and L-O-L at it
• 21:39
[SPEAKER_01]: And so for me, I'm like, the finale was low key everything I expected it to be and wanted it to be because I already knew Kind of what it was I guess so so I was a different like thing, but I
• 21:54
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, how could I hate it?
• 21:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Like how could I think this is a bad finale?
• 21:58
[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is, I do think now it's over this button now.
• 22:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll do you think we, like, because it was obviously it was high stakes and it was like whatever, but I'd think that, like Sarah said last week, like there was like a wink at the camera the whole time that we were all in tune to.
• 22:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I, I, I offended Phoebe when I know you didn't, you didn't, I got to start to, okay, anyway, okay, so we're going to dive into some of the, uh, some of the things that went down with the girl.
• 22:34
[SPEAKER_01]: So I want to kind of like talk through how they wrapped up their stories and if we're happy with like the individual girls and their stories being wrapped up, who do you want to start with?
• 22:45
[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, let's just go an alphabetical order.
• 22:47
[SPEAKER_00]: Make Oria hapiled through L'Oria.
• 22:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's start with Oria.
• 22:51
[SPEAKER_01]: How do you feel about Oria's story being wrapped up?
• 22:54
[SPEAKER_00]: At the time, it's what I was fine with.
• 22:57
[SPEAKER_00]: I was happy with it.
• 22:58
[SPEAKER_00]: I was happy that I was really married.
• 23:00
[SPEAKER_00]: At the time, and honestly, if I'm just funny, I just believe, like, no way they are meant to be with each other.
• 23:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, I mean I like choking on the words I know but I'm also just like
• 23:21
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want anybody to hear me say that and think that it goes against how much I also hate them and don't agree with that.
• 23:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but like, yeah, they're the two of the most unsufferable fucking people like in any universe, they would find each other.
• 23:34
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean, like, like a trash like their third or fourth lifetime together.
• 23:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
• 23:38
[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to keep doing this bullshit and putting everyone in their lives through hell for the, for all of eternity, like they just well.
• 23:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: I infertility.
• 23:49
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if we needed to do that to her.
• 23:51
[SPEAKER_00]: There are plenty of other reasons that Ariah could have found the center of the loss with the resort and started sobbing.
• 23:56
[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't even have to be this.
• 23:58
[SPEAKER_00]: It just felt like, well, I don't even have to bring this like now thing.
• 24:02
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I didn't even know that this was like something that she was, we didn't even know something about kids.
• 24:06
[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't know that this seems like something.
• 24:08
[SPEAKER_00]: It's been a year since we saw them last.
• 24:10
[SPEAKER_00]: It could have been something she was already thinking about when they got engaged and was starting to realize.
• 24:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: But it just happened.
• 24:16
[SPEAKER_00]: It came out of nowhere.
• 24:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: It did.
• 24:18
[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't seem and like out of all of the couples.
• 24:21
[SPEAKER_01]: They kind of seemed like the least.
• 24:23
[SPEAKER_01]: they're like, they're interested in something like that.
• 24:26
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
• 24:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I just or like they are going to be excited to go the adoption route or something like that, but you know, I really should have known and this is no shade to anybody, but you know, they're always like, well, if you like if you're someone who says, like, what do they just say about, they just have as a judge in an instant, the critics online.
• 24:44
[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, it's evil of her to say that she wants the kid to be hers.
• 24:48
  [SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's selfish.
• 24:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know what I mean?
• 24:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't agree with that at all.
• 24:51
[SPEAKER_01]: But with that lens, I'm like, well, of course, Ari is like, there's no other way to have a kid.
• 24:55
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
• 24:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it has to be just like me.
• 24:58
[SPEAKER_01]: It has to be my flesh.
• 25:01
[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't know the meaning of that story for her at all.
• 25:04
[SPEAKER_01]: Like not that it's not an important story to shine light.
• 25:08
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's not big.
• 25:08
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's going to be unresolved.
• 25:10
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to give or not.
• 25:11
[SPEAKER_01]: This is such a heavy important issue.
• 25:13
[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to give it 20 minutes in the final episode.
• 25:16
[SPEAKER_01]: When it's like we've had actually a lot of exploration of fertility and pregnancy and women's bodies.
• 25:21
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, we've actually really explored that.
• 25:25
[SPEAKER_01]: And so it just did feel like,
• 25:27
[SPEAKER_01]: And, and I wonder if they thought, okay, if we put this like struggle in, then it gives Arya a reason to believe that Ezra would leave her at the altar, but that didn't even really connect for me.
• 25:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm like, you could have just told me that Ezra left the altar and I'd say, bye.
• 25:42
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd say something like Nicole must call them you know what I mean like there are there are like recent reasons I could have been Or how about this crazy talk it not yeah, I know it's been a year, but that's not that fucking long Like if if I'm only a year away from this, I just am not thinking I'm in the clear Let's not forget girls.
• 26:00
[SPEAKER_01]: You win away for five years and came back and it happened again like what different quick fucking year gonna make exactly Okay next we'll do
• 26:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Emily, because that's well, Allison slash Emily, not that they don't have their own stories, but they are intertwined.
• 26:20
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, MSN.
• 26:23
[SPEAKER_01]: I look if they ended the way they ended on this finale, I'm happy with their stories, like I although I do think what the fuck are both of you girls doing teaching and rosewood high.
• 26:35
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'd be out of there.
• 26:36
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, out of there, and Emily, you pretty much agree with me.
• 26:41
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's your whole thing.
• 26:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, like you forgot who you are.
• 26:45
[SPEAKER_01]: I like came back and you're like, oh, wait.
• 26:46
[SPEAKER_01]: I forgot the one reason that I would have loved to be in Rosewood is actually right in front of me.
• 26:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Why would I go around?
• 26:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: I get the girl.
• 26:52
[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm like, hey, Ali, why the hell, like, question more for Ali?
• 26:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Why the hell do you want to be at Rosewood?
• 26:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you want to live in the house?
• 26:59
[SPEAKER_00]: No, looking out the window at the very yard where you were buried.
• 27:03
[SPEAKER_00]: For your mother, your own mother, buried you alive, rather than just check your mother.
• 27:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's the other thing.
• 27:10
[SPEAKER_01]: You just spatter the chunk of your pulse.
• 27:12
[SPEAKER_00]: You just spin 180 degrees.
• 27:14
[SPEAKER_00]: You can look in the backyard where your mother was found.
• 27:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes exactly, and then you can remember about how your mother actually has this evil twin sister and her evil twin sister actually has an evil daughter who's your friend and me best friend.
• 27:28
[SPEAKER_00]: Also you lived here with your evil husband, who's best friend.
• 27:33
[SPEAKER_01]: And put you into a fucking mental institution like poison.
• 27:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Do you and then you got fuck.
• 27:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm sorry the list goes on and on and on and I just there's not a phone.
• 27:46
[SPEAKER_01]: And I, and I get it for the show sake, but what I would have really honestly loved is if they didn't tie these two women down.
• 27:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, like, I'm like, give these women, and just because they're having kids doesn't mean they have to be tied the fuck down.
• 27:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Also did they get maternity leave?
• 28:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, maybe in that year, because we never saw, we just, the babies were like freaking full grown at this point.
• 28:09
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
• 28:10
[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe they're like just going back to school that morning, we catch up with them.
• 28:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just like, and I'm sorry.
• 28:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Maria was a sub.
• 28:18
[SPEAKER_00]: Ella was a sub, and that's why the kids are reading Arias book because Ella was a sub.
• 28:23
[SPEAKER_01]: She got them started on it.
• 28:24
[SPEAKER_01]: And now like, hey, man, it was like, are you fucking eyed this isn't this?
• 28:27
  [SPEAKER_00]: No.
• 28:28
  [SPEAKER_00]: I haven't read it.
• 28:28
[SPEAKER_00]: She wasn't planning on it.
• 28:30
[SPEAKER_00]: Ella at the rehearsal, then and she's like, hey, Ella, this isn't in the approved curriculum.
• 28:35
[SPEAKER_00]: Ella, hey, it's Mrs. Montgomery.
• 28:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
• 28:38
[SPEAKER_01]: She's like nobody else has to call me Mrs. Montgomery including my mom doesn't my child doesn't have to call me mom, but you have to call me Mrs. Montgomery.
• 28:46
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I just think that like Allison state and I'm sorry.
• 28:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Also just knowing that Addison is still in the Facility and like okay, so Alley's gonna be baited every single day and so so is Emily and so what where's the next series?
• 29:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, don't worry, Jen and Jenna's didn't curb it
• 29:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, right.
• 29:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: I forgot.
• 29:04
[SPEAKER_01]: I forgot Jenna's fully like suing Addison.
• 29:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Can you hear my dogs going berserk?
• 29:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: No.
• 29:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why they're doing this.
• 29:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: Is Anthony home?
• 29:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
• 29:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why they're doing this.
• 29:19
  [SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't.
• 29:20
  [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, okay.
• 29:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk Hannah and Caleb.
• 29:23
[SPEAKER_01]: I look I'm happy for them as long as we don't keep having these marital issues.
• 29:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I feel like they were on pretty decent terms once we ended.
• 29:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm happy with them.
• 29:35
[SPEAKER_00]: I wish we'd gotten a little more of them maybe in the end.
• 29:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: That wasn't negative.
• 29:40
[SPEAKER_00]: It was, it felt like it was not negative.
• 29:41
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a little negative.
• 29:43
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a little negative.
• 29:44
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like I wouldn't have that.
• 29:46
[SPEAKER_01]: I would have like to see the morning after I literally thought you were going to say I would have like to see more of that What are the baby making on the couch?
• 29:54
[SPEAKER_01]: I just didn't I didn't like the send off for Caleb and I felt like that kind of about That all of the boys sort of had something and I maybe mentioned this was Sarah if I didn't I had wanted you but we didn't have time like I did feel like each of the boys sort of had
• 30:14
[SPEAKER_01]: like in ugly moments or something that made them kind of like, I don't know, in the finale.
• 30:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Like there's Toby's only thing that he had sex with all like, straight.
• 30:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that's not a job.
• 30:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I just have to actually like, that's a small thing.
• 30:26
  [SPEAKER_01]: I can't stand this with you.
• 30:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I'm sorry.
• 30:28
  [SPEAKER_01]: Boy, stop!
• 30:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: Stop!
• 30:38
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see how that goes.
• 30:40
[SPEAKER_01]: They never hear me raise my voice, so when they do, they tend to listen.
• 30:46
[SPEAKER_01]: So now that's more impactful.
• 30:48
[SPEAKER_01]: It's more impactful than you've never raised your voice.
• 30:52
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Ari is like a weirdo-genital parent.
• 30:54
  [UNKNOWN]: Stop, Esther!
• 30:56
[SPEAKER_01]: That's all right, I'll get you again.
• 30:58
[SPEAKER_01]: No, actually, because it was like Thumbolina or something or Ophelia.
• 31:01
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Phelia!
• 31:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: Thumbolina!
• 31:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: Cretanthamam!
• 31:04
  [SPEAKER_01]: You shut up!
• 31:05
[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to upset your unborn baby.
• 31:07
  [SPEAKER_01]: She's not infertile anymore.
• 31:08
  [SPEAKER_01]: She's pregnant.
• 31:09
[SPEAKER_01]: She's pregnant with a baby that she's going to be naming Hortensia You're upsetting baby Hortensia.
• 31:17
[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going more simple But insufferable Jane James up there.
• 31:23
  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Ruth Alice
• 31:29
[SPEAKER_00]: And I already said this, and it didn't get a laugh, but I do think a name like Pine or O, or... Oh, I did make sure you get your laugh now.
• 31:40
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna bring it up again in the five episodes.
• 31:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, what is this moon you're in?
• 31:47
[SPEAKER_01]: Like tap out of it.
• 31:48
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
• 31:48
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually I've been in a bad mood the last couple of days.
• 31:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so I'm not okay So I actually did pick up on something perfect.
• 31:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like hoping for you like I'm swear I'm not in a bad mood I've been in a bad mood for like a couple of days I must be gonna agree but like what I'm seeing is like
• 32:03
  [SPEAKER_00]: I have 10 days.
• 32:05
[SPEAKER_00]: So I better not be in this kind of mood for 10 days.
• 32:09
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll give, hey, guess what?
• 32:11
[SPEAKER_00]: You could be experiencing something.
• 32:12
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's all seasonal depression.
• 32:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: No, it's not that.
• 32:16
  [SPEAKER_01]: How do you know?
• 32:17
[SPEAKER_00]: Because, you know, I don't, sorry, that's not really my thing.
• 32:24
  [SPEAKER_00]: I definitely love it.
• 32:26
[SPEAKER_00]: That no, it's not that I don't know what it is, but I am in a bad mood and I'm I'm ready for it to be done because I do feel like clawing out my insides.
• 32:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: So
• 32:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, I understand that feeling.
• 32:40
[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like this is a good time and act time to quote my favorite movie, a ton of things I hate about you.
• 32:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Mr. Morgan, do you think I could get cat to take her mightle before she comes to class?
• 32:52
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to make it out, I'm going to make that for us.
• 32:54
[SPEAKER_01]: Phoebe's mom, do we think I could have Phoebe to take her mightle before she comes to record the pod?
• 32:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: Was that fixture mood?
• 33:01
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, bitch.
• 33:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it does.
• 33:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody think I have it right next to me.
• 33:05
  [SPEAKER_00]: I thought it's just fixture cramps.
• 33:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Uber eats some right now, bitch.
• 33:09
[SPEAKER_01]: No, this has caffeine in it.
• 33:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: It has.
• 33:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: You do so.
• 33:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
• 33:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: Um.
• 33:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, don't stay.
• 33:15
[SPEAKER_01]: I should like that on an air.
• 33:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
• 33:18
[SPEAKER_00]: It's something for making mills.
• 33:20
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's cool.
• 33:20
  [SPEAKER_00]: I really think you're making millies.
• 33:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 33:22
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going towards it all.
• 33:23
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why she lives on the mansion.
• 33:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's why the mansion.
• 33:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's why the mansion.
• 33:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, everyone knows I live in a Macmation.
• 33:32
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's great.
• 33:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: How am I, God?
• 33:34
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.
• 33:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
• 33:37
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hoarding our millions, and I live in a palace made of my doll, and I have three cars.
• 33:42
[SPEAKER_01]: Three cars, and I who braids my doll every single day.
• 33:45
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I don't need it every single day.
• 33:47
  [SPEAKER_01]: I have plenty.
• 33:48
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's just a flex on me.
• 33:49
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just something that it's part of my routine.
• 33:51
  [SPEAKER_01]: I can't control it anymore.
• 33:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's muscle memory.
• 33:53
[SPEAKER_01]: And you subscribe and save every day.
• 33:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yeah, and and yeah, okay never mind.
• 34:01
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm uncomfortable talking about my wealth I don't want to talk about it.
• 34:07
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to talk about it.
• 34:10
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so anyway, I'm relatable again guys Not rich anymore.
• 34:13
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm relatable again Just like you just like you guys even though you guys also live in McMansions and we're all really rich except Phoebe
• 34:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Phoebe's is helping your mood or what?
• 34:28
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 34:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Me sing that we're all super rich except for you.
• 34:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Is that helping or hurting your bad mood?
• 34:34
  [SPEAKER_01]: Which one?
• 34:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, you know what's really not open to you?
• 34:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: You know what?
• 34:39
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, we're gonna say this.
• 34:41
[SPEAKER_01]: You guys, if you work at the call of a near Phoebe watch out.
• 34:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: Or Uber eats help.
• 34:47
[SPEAKER_01]: But we're Uber eats watch out.
• 34:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, also what's not gonna help is that after this I have to go to the post office nothing worse than that And we better hope that I can just drop it.
• 34:57
[SPEAKER_00]: I get they better hope.
• 34:59
[SPEAKER_01]: I can just drop it off I actually can't talk about what I need to do with the post office without breaking into hives So can we now break in the law?
• 35:09
[SPEAKER_01]: No Famously the post office is a place that is hard to break the law
• 35:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I think I don't want to break there, but like they were they're weird about everything so I imagine it would be hard They're weird about they're weird about everything like even the wall No, they're weird about everything.
• 35:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: Why?
• 35:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, why are the people who work at post offices weird about everything?
• 35:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway Back to the podcast.
• 35:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: So Hannah and Caleb.
• 35:37
  [SPEAKER_01]: What's the job?
• 35:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, Hannah is doing great with her dress come hurt fashion company, which we love Caleb
• 35:43
  [SPEAKER_01]: bought the law.
• 35:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, they're actually rolling in dough.
• 35:46
[SPEAKER_01]: So I actually really happy for them.
• 35:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, don't we're going to um next.
• 35:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: Is that it?
• 35:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: Spenser.
• 35:53
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Spenser.
• 35:54
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'm kind of the buzz.
• 35:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: Kind of the buzz.
• 35:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Spencer.
• 36:00
[SPEAKER_00]: I hope she's with Toby, but we don't know that.
• 36:04
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe that, actually, because I felt like that was... Oh, and that's what we're talking about, by the way, is that you were so mad at me for saying, that, yes, that's a bad moment for Toby.
• 36:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 36:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's a bad moment.
• 36:18
[SPEAKER_01]: You even mean like every guy is a bad moment if music, are you this again?
• 36:25
[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, and let me get this clear.
• 36:26
[SPEAKER_00]: They'll probably have to do it.
• 36:28
[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody just to be clear, everybody.
• 36:29
  [SPEAKER_00]: He's the victim and that's situation.
• 36:31
[SPEAKER_00]: I know he is, but also like so as Mark has.
• 36:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you don't look at it that way.
• 36:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: Mark S knows.
• 36:40
[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I wasn't even like, I didn't think that until you brought that up about Mark S.
• 36:44
[SPEAKER_00]: Mark, as there's a possibility that there are there are two hellies two there's a hell and a hellie
• 36:52
[SPEAKER_00]: Tony, there is not a world in which she ever believed that that wouldn't be Spencer, but like, I'm sorry if I'm okay.
• 37:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say Anthony comes home one night and he says something crazy.
• 37:06
[SPEAKER_01]: He looks at me drinking an alony new at midnight.
• 37:09
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, babe, you're going to be up all night.
• 37:12
[SPEAKER_01]: First, first immediately, I'm like, who are you?
• 37:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: What's going on here?
• 37:16
  [SPEAKER_01]: No.
• 37:22
[SPEAKER_01]: I fall asleep on the spot because he was wrong.
• 37:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's just kidding.
• 37:26
  [SPEAKER_01]: He comes in.
• 37:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: He looks so hot.
• 37:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, let's do it, babe.
• 37:29
  [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, okay, babe.
• 37:30
[SPEAKER_01]: And then I'm like, wait a minute.
• 37:32
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't use this kind of aftershave.
• 37:34
[SPEAKER_01]: What the fuck where were you?
• 37:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: What are you doing?
• 37:36
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, oh, we know you don't have this.
• 37:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we're doing all this stuff.
• 37:42
[SPEAKER_01]: But she didn't and I there would have been things that I would have been like or like sorry Okay, all right.
• 37:48
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to hear it.
• 37:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
• 37:50
[SPEAKER_01]: I am going to take it here There are things that happen during intimacy that would clue you in that you might be like Oh typically you love this and tonight you fucking hate it or vice versa Yeah, but they haven't had sex in one time in their order.
• 38:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: I Don't know
• 38:08
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's also like, I just think Carolyn, first of all, Carolyn, if Anthony marked in there and said that to you, your first reaction wouldn't be who is this?
• 38:18
[SPEAKER_00]: It would be a fight.
• 38:19
[SPEAKER_00]: You would say, I would be like, say that shit to me.
• 38:21
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be like, do you know me at all?
• 38:23
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be like, what the fuck, and then pair that with, yeah, big courage.
• 38:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Other stuff, I'd be like, you have there as well.
• 38:29
  [SPEAKER_01]: There, no, you wouldn't.
• 38:32
[SPEAKER_01]: I would think something was up and we wouldn't be sleeping together.
• 38:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but you wouldn't, I'd be like, no, touch me.
• 38:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: Pimposter.
• 38:38
[SPEAKER_00]: And we don't know how much sex they have.
• 38:41
[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't want you to happen.
• 38:42
  [SPEAKER_00]: Really?
• 38:42
[SPEAKER_01]: Are you now, are you trying to say that?
• 38:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, they didn't actually even answer me, but not for a Phoebe, you?
• 38:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Because why, why wouldn't Alex have said instead of saying, instead of saying to Mary, I can see it by the way, he looks at me.
• 38:55
[SPEAKER_00]: He's in love with me.
• 38:59
[SPEAKER_00]: and she doesn't say I could tell by the way he absolutely riled me last night.
• 39:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: No, Phoebe, shut up.
• 39:05
[SPEAKER_01]: She's not sharing that because it makes her look bad.
• 39:07
[SPEAKER_01]: It makes her look like a fucking...
• 39:10
[SPEAKER_01]: or predator and a whore.
• 39:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so she's not gonna say that to her mom or mom.
• 39:17
[SPEAKER_00]: All these, her mom who did the same thing.
• 39:18
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, if anyone's gonna be sympathetic to whore.
• 39:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Do as I say, not as I do.
• 39:22
[SPEAKER_00]: You say that all the time and you know that and you actually freaking know that.
• 39:27
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, I just like, I think Caleb being mad at Hannah is worse than this.
• 39:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Why would you give Toby one bad moment because I think he had a pretty good episode.
• 39:40
[SPEAKER_00]: He's had plenty of bad moments like marrying a whole nother woman.
• 39:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but that wasn't really a bad moment.
• 39:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: It was to me.
• 39:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so all I see is that your moral compass is completely skewed by just you wanting his foe PDB together, whatever and needing them both to be the best couple.
• 39:57
[SPEAKER_01]: You find out that I'm a foe forever.
• 39:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, it would not be as a prize if you're a spoe forever, and by the way, why'd you stop commenting then?
• 40:05
  [SPEAKER_01]: If you're a spoe forever, where'd you go?
• 40:07
  [SPEAKER_01]: You fell off.
• 40:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: They don't comment anymore.
• 40:10
  [SPEAKER_01]: I got banned.
• 40:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, plan, she would get banned from Instagram.
• 40:15
[SPEAKER_01]: I just, if you do so much damage, you can troll.
• 40:17
[SPEAKER_01]: You always are going on posting crazy shit.
• 40:20
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like delete that, delete that.
• 40:22
[SPEAKER_01]: If my voice can be funny.
• 40:25
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like delete delete that now.
• 40:27
[SPEAKER_00]: I put up a chance of password.
• 40:29
  [SPEAKER_01]: She got back in.
• 40:30
[SPEAKER_01]: I know you did, that was good.
• 40:34
  [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, okay.
• 40:35
[SPEAKER_01]: And then Mona, I mean, perhaps I'm most happy with Mona's ending.
• 40:40
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 40:42
  [SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
• 40:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want her to get in trouble, though.
• 40:47
[SPEAKER_00]: Why would you get in trouble?
• 40:48
[SPEAKER_00]: At Mona's, she was never been with a law.
• 40:54
[SPEAKER_00]: She's willing to be born in a hostage.
• 40:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay?
• 40:58
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just on an off chance.
• 41:02
[SPEAKER_00]: They have to do something in her building and they find that she has a whole fucking cage.
• 41:13
  [SPEAKER_00]: We're okay.
• 41:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: They're caged.
• 41:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: Those people are caged.
• 41:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, tomorrow's motto.
• 41:21
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm being also like, have you knew those people word, we like?
• 41:24
[SPEAKER_00]: Are both of our moral compasses?
• 41:27
[SPEAKER_00]: Are your north is Mona and my north is Toby.
• 41:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Spobie.
• 41:31
  [SPEAKER_00]: No.
• 41:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no.
• 41:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you're being seen right now.
• 41:36
[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, because that's worse than you know it and you're trying to make me look bad.
• 41:40
[SPEAKER_01]: You're trying to discredit me entirely.
• 41:42
  [SPEAKER_01]: I can see it.
• 41:43
[SPEAKER_01]: The writing's in the wall of what you're trying to do here.
• 41:45
[SPEAKER_01]: It's literally all the wall.
• 41:48
  [SPEAKER_01]: In blood, come on!
• 41:50
  [SPEAKER_01]: Halloween's over!
• 41:51
[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, side note, something sunset is... Dude, so good.
• 41:59
  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm on episode two.
• 42:02
[SPEAKER_00]: And first of all, and we're walking into that office with Mary's haircut.
• 42:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, who is that way or not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not, am I not
• 42:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
• 42:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Did you get to the center?
• 42:18
[SPEAKER_00]: Are you walking into this office?
• 42:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Where everybody hates you and every day, but we know, look like this.
• 42:23
[SPEAKER_00]: You have, yeah, you and I know.
• 42:24
[SPEAKER_00]: I love her shell, but that girl can be mean.
• 42:25
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:26
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:26
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:27
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:28
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:28
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:29
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:30
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:30
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:31
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:32
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:33
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:33
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:34
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:35
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as far.
• 42:36
[SPEAKER_00]: That girl can be mean as
• 42:37
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I was like, this is episode two.
• 42:40
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, it's like, like, like, like, for me, I am like, crochet, I think we can reel it in.
• 42:46
[SPEAKER_00]: I bet you're like, like, like, when, when, crochet, I'll realize that she's holding the coals.
• 42:50
[SPEAKER_00]: She had already started out.
• 42:52
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, you weren't even trying to make this.
• 42:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 42:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Amicable, but Nicole, it's pretty easy.
• 43:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my God, to mentally say,
• 43:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not, I don't care for parents or drug addicts and she's calling you a drug addict or if she's ever called you a drug addict.
• 43:09
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's just the common courtesy that every human on earth typically has to not bring up someone's dead parents.
• 43:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, yeah, you think you're thinking it.
• 43:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: And then Nicole's like a pitbull.
• 43:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's just like you look over there and she's like, yeah, she's like keeps going as everyone is telling you.
• 43:26
[SPEAKER_01]: She just like gets in and she will not fucking let go.
• 43:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, we'll talk about that on Tuesday, but it's so good.
• 43:35
[SPEAKER_01]: If you have not watched, we will be discussing selling songs that on Tuesday.
• 43:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's incredible television.
• 43:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Not that I expected anything less, but sometimes I forgot.
• 43:42
[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes I'm like, I was a little bit like, what even though I'm on my mind, or just like, what am I gonna remember?
• 43:47
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're back.
• 43:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're back.
• 43:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're completely freaking back.
• 43:53
  [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
• 43:53
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, okay, so like, what do you think was the twist effective in the show?
• 44:00
[SPEAKER_00]: It was effective in what Marlene wanted it to do and that nobody could guess it.
• 44:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: Shocking, I guess, yeah, I guess that's true.
• 44:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Do you feel like it answered, it answered everything for you?
• 44:10
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, do you feel satisfied with this ending to the show?
• 44:14
[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I think those are two different questions.
• 44:16
[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like it answered everything but it wasn't in a satisfying way.
• 44:20
  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
• 44:20
[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted them to be able to point across two full seasons that I know they kind of could, but not in the way that I was hoping they would.
• 44:27
[SPEAKER_00]: be able to, or even over the course of the whole show that I wanted them to be, I wanted it to be really well thought out and it's just, yeah, it was.
• 44:34
  [SPEAKER_00]: no I agree.
• 44:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
• 44:36
[SPEAKER_01]: It did just feel like they were just throwing everything in there too.
• 44:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Like the little Maya's knee, smoke, it was weird.
• 44:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Like there were a lot of moments like that where I was like okay, I see what you're trying to do, but we just don't have to have every single call back in this episode.
• 44:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: Like you already did.
• 44:53
  [SPEAKER_01]: My wrong.
• 44:54
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't bring her up now and remind us, like a lot of people probably forgot.
• 44:57
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
• 44:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
• 44:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
• 44:59
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to go through some of our favorite moments from the finale, if we and I each have five, I would bet there's some crossover here about who knows.
• 45:08
[SPEAKER_01]: And these are no particular order, because the second I have to rank something, I like, it's impossible, free the heck out.
• 45:15
[SPEAKER_01]: So we're not doing it that way.
• 45:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so do you want to go first or do you want me to go first?
• 45:20
  [SPEAKER_01]: Or go first?
• 45:20
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll go back and forth, but yeah.
• 45:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
• 45:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: a low-sister, a low-sister, that is also on my list.
• 45:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, how could it not be, how could it not be, and how did I not know that line was coming?
• 45:36
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I mean, like, I got a lot spoiled for me.
• 45:41
[SPEAKER_01]: But the fact that our show, our show, you and me, a pretty little podcast is like based on sisterhood.
• 45:45
[SPEAKER_01]: And nobody can, we say, love it like a sister and like all those things.
• 45:48
[SPEAKER_01]: And actually it was right in front of my freaking face.
• 45:50
[SPEAKER_00]: I won't say how many shirts and Sally shirts of finale merch drop the size of a love sister.
• 45:56
  [SPEAKER_01]: You're right.
• 45:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: You're right.
• 45:57
[SPEAKER_01]: It really, every time I say it too, I think of Sally Bulls and Cabaret.
• 46:01
[SPEAKER_01]: And then, dawnings every time.
• 46:03
  [SPEAKER_00]: But it's better.
• 46:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: No offense.
• 46:06
  [SPEAKER_01]: The L.O.S.
• 46:07
[SPEAKER_01]: is staff moment was so fucking good.
• 46:09
[SPEAKER_01]: It, it just, and that's the kind of moment that I'm like, I don't believe they didn't know that that was instant camp.
• 46:17
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't believe, they're had to have been someone on the set who like burst out laughing, not knowing that she was gonna sound like that when she came around the corner.
• 46:25
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right?
• 46:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Is that her, is that her first line?
• 46:28
[SPEAKER_01]: No, her first one is BOO!
• 46:30
  [SPEAKER_01]: That too.
• 46:31
[SPEAKER_01]: That didn't make way less, but that's something honorable mentions.
• 46:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: BOO!
• 46:34
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's a good one.
• 46:35
[SPEAKER_01]: On my list, I have the opening of course.
• 46:38
[SPEAKER_01]: How did I not include the opening?
• 46:40
[SPEAKER_00]: Do we ever like, was there a point to having Lucas tap dance?
• 46:44
  [SPEAKER_00]: Nope.
• 46:45
[SPEAKER_00]: I think just to get him in the episode.
• 46:46
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like he couldn't have been invited.
• 46:48
  [SPEAKER_00]: It was took pictures.
• 46:49
[SPEAKER_00]: He gives him a bit of the wedding.
• 46:50
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even have been like the photographer of the wedding.
• 46:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 46:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, right.
• 46:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: That was Marlene.
• 46:54
[SPEAKER_01]: Or like he comes by because it's his loft and like he left something there.
• 46:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
• 46:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Like having him in a white touch and tap shoes, tap dancing is crazy.
• 47:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Not an entire opening scene.
• 47:06
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's so insane.
• 47:08
[SPEAKER_01]: And I wanted to talk about something.
• 47:09
[SPEAKER_01]: So obviously, we have the moment of Spencer quoting Christopher Palini.
• 47:13
[SPEAKER_01]: She says her, what is even the quote.
• 47:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, right.
• 47:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 47:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 47:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 47:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 47:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 47:19
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm talking about?
• 47:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Because it sounds like it's going to be like a
• 47:24
[SPEAKER_01]: It's, uh, there is no courage without fear, and they're like, who is that?
• 47:30
[SPEAKER_01]: And Spencer says Christopher Paulini, who by the way, if you don't know Christopher Paulini wrote Aragon and like the Aragon series, and I'm like, it's also supposed to be a joke, like a ridiculous thing, because this is supposed to be another, because like everything is saying the stream sequence is like ridiculous and not true, like,
• 47:50
[SPEAKER_00]: is this also like because she would never have be quoting the errogone series like are am I just being a bitch or maybe it's mona being a bitch dispenser and she's like Spencer probably reads shit like the errogone series.
• 48:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe I'm just like and also like
• 48:04
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, I just think it's such a weird.
• 48:07
[SPEAKER_01]: That's something I would love to ask Marlene about.
• 48:09
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd love to be really, so how'd it be?
• 48:10
[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully I could have that amazing moment of them saying goodbye before they all went to college.
• 48:15
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's good, goodbye quote from Winnie the Pill.
• 48:18
[SPEAKER_00]: It could have been a fallback to something like that that would have been exactly.
• 48:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Or you could have even had Hannah go, is that Winnie the Pill?
• 48:24
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
• 48:25
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, said that, like, to call back to it, and then it could have been like a funny moment, but still,
• 48:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just, it feels like every time you get a quote or something like that, it's a little bit more intentional and this just felt like bizarre to me, I don't know.
• 48:35
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like that's not someone that I feel like people like know off the top of their head really.
• 48:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: No, exactly.
• 48:40
  [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
• 48:41
[SPEAKER_00]: People that she's normally quoting.
• 48:42
[SPEAKER_01]: I would more expect Hannah to have read the Aragon series in Spencer, but also Hannah's not like remembering any quotes from it.
• 48:49
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
• 48:49
[SPEAKER_01]: So even so, it's just like, I don't know.
• 48:52
[SPEAKER_01]: I just thought that was weird.
• 48:53
[SPEAKER_01]: I honestly would have been a good time for her to quote Ari as book.
• 48:55
[SPEAKER_01]: That would have been a good moment.
• 48:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she could have quoted it and said, it's Ari among them.
• 48:59
[SPEAKER_01]: or it does rip it.
• 49:00
  [SPEAKER_01]: There's something like that.
• 49:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, the entire opening sequence, and then of course assuming out and saying that it's my girl, Mona, that's how it all started.
• 49:10
[SPEAKER_01]: Defend her with my life.
• 49:11
[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things, Mike's Mike, just the, I guess, I guess I just call a Mike, but you might think I'm talking about Mike Montgomery, but he reveals that Mona is A and he goes, and my opinion, she did nothing wrong.
• 49:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: Everything was completely justified.
• 49:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: And, uh,
• 49:25
[SPEAKER_01]: love her and love her.
• 49:27
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember what it was exactly that I can't remember any of the exact words you use but it was so funny like he was just immediately like and um everything she did was completely justified and um she dated Zavda and oh yeah so she's she didn't have any wrong um anyway okay let's see your next on your list was the opening on yours no next is Jenna the scene where Jenna is walking out of VV's office we find out that she's
• 49:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's this whole scene.
• 49:56
[SPEAKER_00]: She's suing Addison, but then we hear Spence, she like hugs Spencer, and then Spencer, or Spencer is looking up and smiling at VV.
• 50:04
[SPEAKER_00]: And she VV's like, what?
• 50:06
[SPEAKER_00]: And VV goes, er, Spencer is nothing.
• 50:09
  [SPEAKER_00]: You're just a complete rock.
• 50:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: Totally freaking rock, sir.
• 50:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it was.
• 50:15
[SPEAKER_00]: And then, Jenna, Jenna may as well not smell Spencer, but may as well hear Spencer.
• 50:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 50:23
  [SPEAKER_00]: Say, Toby.
• 50:25
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't get Spencer Spencer.
• 50:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Spencer isn't Spencer call me crazy.
• 50:30
[SPEAKER_01]: That was on my honorable mentions list because they also love that.
• 50:33
[SPEAKER_01]: I love any moment where like Jenna is truly omnipotent.
• 50:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Jenna knows everything and yet allegedly cannot see.
• 50:40
[SPEAKER_01]: I do think it's crazy Jenna ends the series so not being able to see.
• 50:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, not that, like, I care that much because fuck Jadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadad
• 51:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: Um, okay.
• 51:17
[SPEAKER_01]: On my list, I have like the entire Addison school moment.
• 51:21
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just too fucking funny not to include here.
• 51:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Like her and her being like physically assaulted by two teachers and in like within 30 seconds is interesting.
• 51:30
[SPEAKER_01]: And she's still not really the victim in the situation.
• 51:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
• 51:33
[SPEAKER_01]: She's still like completely the antagonist like a bad person, but then when we're alley grabs her arm and then when Jenna grabs her hand like it's just so good.
• 51:41
[SPEAKER_01]: I love seeing a bit of a bitch in my all And also Jenna you can't say that you're in school.
• 51:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: You work here.
• 51:50
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to answer my student Addison is going to have a case pretty soon She's actually instigating.
• 51:58
[SPEAKER_00]: She's baiting all of you teachers so that she can eventually be fired fucking working
• 52:02
[SPEAKER_01]: but all of that is just pretty iconic and then of course that's when we see Sidney Sweeney in the show which is a jump scare if you want it to be you know it's yeah yeah yeah kind of crazy
• 52:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
• 52:13
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
• 52:13
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
• 52:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: Next is Ren.
• 52:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: The whole Ren reveal.
• 52:18
  [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
• 52:18
[SPEAKER_00]: Like him being dead, but also being made into an eternity stone, him being the father.
• 52:23
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 52:24
  [SPEAKER_00]: Emily and Allison's kid.
• 52:26
  [SPEAKER_00]: Him.
• 52:27
[SPEAKER_00]: That is in the chest.
• 52:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 52:31
  [SPEAKER_01]: Emily.
• 52:32
  [SPEAKER_01]: All of him.
• 52:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: Really?
• 52:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Being the father of those children.
• 52:37
[SPEAKER_01]: I also just like I, and maybe this is leaving stupid, but did you anticipate running such a big part of the story at the end?
• 52:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, no, we're watching it.
• 52:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I, I, I really was just never the ending.
• 52:48
[SPEAKER_01]: No, what, neither was the actor.
• 52:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Neither was he because he did not make himself available to come back.
• 52:53
[SPEAKER_00]: But he made himself available for that weird random airport scene.
• 52:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and that's it.
• 52:59
[SPEAKER_01]: very odd, but I just never saw him coming back honestly.
• 53:04
[SPEAKER_01]: His obsession is so deep.
• 53:07
  [SPEAKER_01]: No.
• 53:08
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, next on mine is deja vu bitch and then Mona knocking Spencer out.
• 53:13
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's a really good one.
• 53:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's so good.
• 53:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: She waxed her.
• 53:20
[SPEAKER_01]: It makes a really satisfying noise.
• 53:22
[SPEAKER_01]: It's always important and a good whacking scene.
• 53:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I just, uh, I just love Mona.
• 53:27
[SPEAKER_01]: I get into being Mona.
• 53:28
  [SPEAKER_01]: Here's what I really just think.
• 53:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Like this whole episode, Mona just got to fucking beat in her Mona oats.
• 53:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely.
• 53:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have to be anybody else, but question for you about it.
• 53:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, for Mona, do you think?
• 53:43
  [SPEAKER_01]: I can't tell.
• 53:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Was she as soon as she got out of the game?
• 53:47
[SPEAKER_01]: out of um well be was she already deciding that she was going to help out the girls or did A.D. piss her off with the whole like Melissa thing and not telling her information and then she decided to try to play to beat A.D.
• 54:02
[SPEAKER_00]: I think she was playing for the girls the whole time, but I think her methods changed.
• 54:07
[SPEAKER_00]: I think when AD, when she realized she wasn't gonna be able to get AD to trust her in a way where AD would reveal themselves to her, she was like, well fuck you, I'll take matters into my own hands.
• 54:17
[SPEAKER_00]: Like you don't get my power anymore to do whatever you want to do until I get to meet you.
• 54:22
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I could see it going both ways, but that's kind of what I think.
• 54:28
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that makes sense.
• 54:33
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to give you two more.
• 54:34
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
• 54:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: Wait.
• 54:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: No, yeah, one.
• 54:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well.
• 54:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's okay.
• 54:38
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have more than.
• 54:40
  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, are you, uh,
• 54:42
[SPEAKER_00]: Are you going into the middle of the lost woods resort and waking everybody up here.
• 54:46
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
• 54:46
  [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
• 54:47
[SPEAKER_01]: You chose the saddest moment of Arias life and made that one of your favorite moments of the episode.
• 54:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 54:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: No, it is.
• 54:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's just more so.
• 54:54
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Arya if we hadn't made Arya into who Arya is watching me back.
• 55:00
[SPEAKER_00]: It would that wouldn't have made it under the list.
• 55:02
[SPEAKER_00]: It might have been a nothing burger of a scene, honestly, but now guys of Carolyn's gotten anything out of this whole podcast is that she knows that nothing burger is a saying.
• 55:11
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is TV's way of making fun of me for saying it right here.
• 55:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's just a way of reminding you that everything I've learned here, yeah, everything I've learned from this show, yeah, I know you're right.
• 55:24
[SPEAKER_01]: That's all the less for sure.
• 55:26
[SPEAKER_01]: I did nothing that was real.
• 55:27
[SPEAKER_01]: And now if I do feel like I see that word or like people say it like fairly often, it's like where my eyes just close this whole time or are you all in on it, you know what I mean?
• 55:40
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, um, I just got some, I just got some bad news.
• 55:46
  [SPEAKER_01]: Why?
• 55:46
[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, you're not going to separate a carpenter.
• 55:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 55:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man.
• 55:52
[SPEAKER_00]: This was a real tough ticket, but one bedroom.
• 55:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I meant to see her.
• 55:56
[SPEAKER_00]: I've been trying to see her since I was freaking 13 years old.
• 55:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, we'll see her eventually.
• 56:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: You will see her.
• 56:03
[SPEAKER_01]: It, I mean, it's only getting hey, it's only going to get harder.
• 56:08
[SPEAKER_01]: You'll see her I believe it somehow some way maybe I'll get tickets for us one day
• 56:26
  [SPEAKER_01]: Leave it to me.
• 56:27
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll leave it to me.
• 56:28
  [SPEAKER_01]: Who doesn't?
• 56:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, my last scene is the last scene, just seeing the Mona, like for me, I'm like, okay, and you are fully absolved now.
• 56:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I can completely forgive you for everything you did to my girl Hannah.
• 56:42
[SPEAKER_01]: I just love seeing Mona be a good friend.
• 56:44
[SPEAKER_01]: I really do feel like this absolved her of everything for me.
• 56:47
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you now to the end have made sure that you are like making up your debt to Hannah, what you did to Hannah.
• 56:56
[SPEAKER_00]: and to extend the things that were done to her.
• 57:00
[SPEAKER_00]: a great totally it passed the point where Mona was made was where Mona was a Mona was of in the girls never gave her credit for this she was also a victim she was out of the doll house and that was point by Alex became the way that she was I mean I know that he wasn't really see like everything that happened to Mona yeah so I think that there's also a piece of it that's like I want to fucking torment this bloodline yeah for sure
• 57:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I I just I think that the final scene and honestly that was like the most fun twist for me because I had already got in the Alex Drake twist Kind of ruined and I mean that in a nice way But like to see this moon I think happened and then have I didn't realize that was the cop and I didn't like I was just like oh
• 57:45
  [SPEAKER_01]: I like that twist.
• 57:47
[SPEAKER_01]: I really worked for me.
• 57:49
[SPEAKER_01]: So that was also my list.
• 57:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have anything else on your list?
• 57:51
  [SPEAKER_01]: Was that everything?
• 57:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: My last one.
• 57:54
[SPEAKER_00]: One on our open mention.
• 57:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, okay, my last one that made the list is when Toby
• 57:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Like just the blocking of this scene makes me laugh the way that like Toby doesn't knock on the door, but Toby wasn't in the conversation in the room with everybody.
• 58:08
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's and we don't hear the door open.
• 58:10
[SPEAKER_00]: So when he walks in and he presents the French catcher in the ride with no notes is he's just like because I think they say we're going to check Spencer and then we don't hear a door open.
• 58:22
  [SPEAKER_00]: We don't hear any.
• 58:23
  [SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't do that if I were you.
• 58:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Like is this a high school play.
• 58:28
[SPEAKER_00]: He's not even sitting there waiting for his Q-Li.
• 58:33
[SPEAKER_00]: Like you would do that if I were you.
• 58:34
[SPEAKER_00]: He's been next to the camera man, and he's like, okay, it's my Q-Li.
• 58:39
[SPEAKER_00]: And now, now, okay, okay, okay.
• 58:41
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, try to find where you.
• 58:44
[SPEAKER_00]: So I wrote him about Toby.
• 58:45
[SPEAKER_00]: He is a himbo Toby this.
• 58:48
[SPEAKER_01]: That's such a good Such a good the way you just said is this a school play just really nailed it really nailed that entrance because it's such a specific thing it's excellent
• 58:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, I just want to just the general horse we had to throw that in there.
• 59:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like for Sarah that was her Oh, she could not get in love with that fucking horse is how it was like how we started to realize that Yeah, she loved it.
• 59:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: She loved it.
• 59:14
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know what like guys so much so that like when we were we were she got on on we had some technical difficulties So like I had like five minutes with her the night before where she
• 59:24
