- 0:24Speaker 2: The new countertop.
- 0:26Speaker 1: And that whole process of picking it out and asking
- 0:28Speaker 1: the questions and okay, how does it handle stains and
- 0:31Speaker 1: how does it handle heat? Well, this type of material
- 0:33Speaker 1: does this and that does that. And it's trade-offs over
- 0:35Speaker 1: here and it's trade-offs over there. What is it you're
- 0:37Speaker 1: more like looking to do? Well, then maybe it's the granite,
- 0:40Speaker 1: but we don't want it to be shiny. Well, you

- 0:47Speaker 1: There's a lot going on out there. It could be
- 0:48Speaker 1: overwhelming with Booer. It was all super easy. The questions
- 0:52Speaker 1: got answered. We got what we wanted. And from the
- 0:55Speaker 1: measurement to the installation, perfect. In, done, nothing went back,
- 1:00Speaker 1: nothing had an issue, everything was where it was supposed
- 1:03Speaker 1: to be, everything lined up great, everything looks amazing.
- 1:07Speaker 2: You can do the same thing.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Whether you're doing just a little bit of work that
- 1:10Speaker 1: I had done with the countertops and the backsplash and
- 1:12Speaker 1: just putting the vinyl pieces together, or you need to
- 1:16Speaker 1: tear it down to the studs and start over again,
- 1:18Speaker 1: maybe move some of those studs, Bua.

- 1:43Speaker 1: let's go.
- 1:46Speaker 2: It's a story you need to.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Hear to believe, then grab your popcorn because there is more. I.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I was not going to get.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Into right now some of the AI stuff, but I
- 2:01Speaker 1: was happy to see some people out there having the
- 2:04Speaker 1: same conversations that.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I am.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Regarding the madness against AI. But there was another story
- 2:19Speaker 1: about how Gavin Newsom came out to say that if
- 2:26Speaker 1: Kamala Harris runs for president, she's not going to run
- 2:29Speaker 1: or he's not going to run.
- 2:31Speaker 2: If Kamala runs, he isn't going to run. I was like, well, well, well.
- 2:36Speaker 1: First, he's having this conversation with Jake Tapper. Were they fishing,
- 2:40Speaker 1: producer Carl? They were like, I don't know, maybe they
- 2:44Speaker 1: were they were in a lake. I don't know, a
- 2:46Speaker 1: lake or a stream or wherever it is they were.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And they're fishing like I'm going to believe that somehow
- 2:54Speaker 1: they are great fishermen.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Maybe Jake Tapper does in between not paying attention to
- 2:58Speaker 1: what's happening with Joe Biden, then writing books about how
- 3:01Speaker 1: he didn't pay attention to what happened to Joe Biden.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Maybe he's fishing.
- 3:05Speaker 1: And so this was that conversation, this conversation between Tapper and.
- 3:13Speaker 2: And Gavin Newsom.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Just two guys trying to catch a trout.
- 3:18Speaker 5: It's going to be a lot of people.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot of Democrats.
- 3:21Speaker 4: 31 flavors.
- 3:22Speaker 2: You're not even the only Californian.
- 3:24Speaker 4: No, right.
- 3:25Speaker 2: You've got Ro Khanna, Kamala.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know if she runs, but we'll see.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I know she's called around.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Yeah, but I wouldn't run if she ran.
- 3:34Speaker 2: If she runs, you will not?
- 3:35Speaker 4: Of course not.
- 3:36Speaker 5: Why would I?
- 3:38Speaker 2: I wouldn't do that to her.
- 3:39Speaker 4: I wouldn't do that to you. I wouldn't waste everyone's time.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Wow.
- 3:47Speaker 2: That's one heck of a statement. And he follows it up.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Who needs that? What do you mean?
- 3:53Speaker 2: That doesn't even make sense to me.
- 3:55Speaker 4: I just, I wouldn't, no, I wouldn't. First of all, electorally,
- 4:00Speaker 4: it's a gift from God for everybody else. They enjoy
- 4:03Speaker 4: the hell out of it. Mutual assured destruction. It services
- 4:06Speaker 4: no greater good.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I mean, you do whatever you want. I don't care.
- 4:09Speaker 4: But like counter-argument would be like, you know, she had
- 4:12Speaker 4: a shot. And you've never run, and she's run twice.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:18Speaker 4: I mean, that would be the approach to the campaign, certainly.
- 4:21Speaker 4: That would be the case you'd make. Pretty good one, actually.
- 4:25Speaker 4: That's objectively true.
- 4:27Speaker 1: That's Jake Tapper, campaign advisor, right there. But let me
- 4:33Speaker 1: do the follow-up here. And the follow-up here is what
- 4:41Speaker 1: the reasoning is. And I thought Ben Shapiro got a
- 4:46Speaker 1: good part of this correct.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Sometime last year in January and or in January. And OK,
- 4:54Speaker 3: so first of all, do you think that he's telling
- 4:58Speaker 3: the truth about that? And secondly, does that mean that
- 5:03Speaker 3: if Kamala Harris is really going to run, he's out?
- 5:06Speaker 5: I think he's telling the truth about that. I don't
- 5:07Speaker 5: know why he's fly fishing. I mean, that was the
- 5:09Speaker 5: thing I.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Found incredibly puzzling about that whole thing.
- 5:11Speaker 5: It was kind of normal to watch that as President
- 5:13Speaker 5: Trump doing sort of equestrian riding.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I don't know exactly what's happening.
- 5:18Speaker 5: But while he's being unnatural, which is kind of his
- 5:19Speaker 5: usual mode, I would say that Governor Newsom, I think
- 5:23Speaker 5: that he is honest about that. Also because I think
- 5:25Speaker 5: that he looks at the electoral map like anybody else.
- 5:27Speaker 5: And the opening state is South Carolina. If he runs
- 5:29Speaker 5: against her in South Carolina, she'll kill him. And so
- 5:31Speaker 5: I think that that puts him in a really bad
- 5:32Speaker 5: position starting off. The Democrats shifting the calendar. The primary
- 5:36Speaker 5: calendar is very, very bad for anybody who is running
- 5:39Speaker 5: against Kamala Harris or maybe Wes Moore.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Anybody who is a white man. They don't do Iowa first.
- 5:48Speaker 1: They do South Carolina first. And the purpose there was
- 5:53Speaker 1: to say we need black candidates only, please.
- 5:59Speaker 2: To which.
- 6:00Speaker 1: The communists and the progressives are going to say, you
- 6:03Speaker 1: meant Muslim candidates first, didn't you?
- 6:07Speaker 2: That's what you meant, isn't it?
- 6:09Speaker 1: Oh, black Democrats know they're they must know by now
- 6:13Speaker 1: they're being left to die on the side.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Of the road by this party.
- 6:18Speaker 1: But the argument there is sound, that you have to
- 6:20Speaker 1: remember that they changed how they do the primaries. They
- 6:24Speaker 1: changed how they started the election season, and therefore it
- 6:27Speaker 1: changes who's going to run and where certain quote-unquote advantages are.
- 6:32Speaker 1: So the left was not making the idea that somehow
- 6:35Speaker 1: the advantage in Iowa was to someone who was white.
- 6:38Speaker 1: They're stating clearly that they want the advantage to be
- 6:41Speaker 1: to someone who is not white. So never mind their bigotry.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom is reading the tea leaves correctly. That will
- 6:50Speaker 1: be very, very difficult to supplant a Kamala Harris or
- 6:58Speaker 1: a Westmore in South Carolina, and then that's where the
- 7:00Speaker 1: momentum is.
- 7:02Speaker 2: The party has made its decision. So I think that
- 7:09Speaker 2: this is true. The issue here is.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Whether or not South Carolinians could be convinced of the
- 7:19Speaker 1: one reality.
- 7:21Speaker 2: And so this didn't get discussed here and it needs
- 7:23Speaker 2: to be. And that reality is.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Do South Carolinians think that Kamala Harris is trustworthy? You
- 7:34Speaker 1: could argue, Tony, they're just going to vote for a
- 7:36Speaker 1: skin color, but they have now seen her as vice president.
- 7:41Speaker 2: They've seen her run. They know that she's a dope person.
- 7:46Speaker 5: She is.
- 7:47Speaker 1: She's incompetent. She's incapable. She's Joe Biden without the ice cream.
- 7:56Speaker 1: So that at least needs to get asked. And if
- 7:58Speaker 1: the answer is nope, doesn't matter, well then, okay. Then
- 8:04Speaker 1: that's that. Sit down, Pete Buttigieg. You're also out. The
- 8:11Speaker 1: only person who gets less black votes than you is
- 8:13Speaker 1: James Tallarico.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Oh, out, gone.
- 8:21Speaker 1: The party has spoken. One semi-strong black candidate, semi. They're
- 8:30Speaker 1: taking South Carolina and you better have crazy money to
- 8:32Speaker 1: spend in the following states to try and undo that,
- 8:36Speaker 1: which we, of course, be seen as bigotry. And who
- 8:40Speaker 1: wants that? That's the argument being made here. And that's
- 8:45Speaker 1: why Gavin Newsom gets to this place. Yes, Kamala Harris
- 8:52Speaker 1: would be formidable because you start in South Carolina. But
- 8:56Speaker 1: we haven't asked the question of whether or not South
- 8:58Speaker 1: Carolinians think Kamala Harris is. Oh, wait for it.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Are you ready?
- 9:03Speaker 1: I mean, if this is the argument, black enough. They
- 9:09Speaker 1: go down the identity politics road. It's okay to ask
- 9:13Speaker 1: any question about identity politics. I know some people are
- 9:17Speaker 1: afraid to. Just none of them have their name on
- 9:19Speaker 1: this show.
