- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. Olivia Rodrigo.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's 102.7 Kiss FM Stupid Song. Good morning. Hi, everybody.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest. And look at this team here this morning.
- 0:19Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Ready to provide escapism and nothing serious. Nothing important will
- 0:24Speaker 2: happen on this show. Well, yes, nothing, nothing. That's the
- 0:30Speaker 2: great thing about it. Nothing, nothing serious, nothing terribly sad
- 0:36Speaker 2: or important. Just escapism. That is what we do. We
- 0:41Speaker 2: are Avraj. Welcome to Avraj. A lot of pressure. I'm
- 0:45Speaker 2: almost like, don't jinx it. Welcome to Avraj. Welcome to Vanilla.
- 0:49Speaker 4: No, but like I get a lot of important information
- 0:52Speaker 4: here sometimes.
- 0:53Speaker 2: From you when you report to us?
- 0:55Speaker 5: No, like the morning hacks. I like, I take those
- 0:58Speaker 5: home with me. That's good information, right?
- 1:01Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Like the world's got too much stickiness to it. Too
- 1:04Speaker 2: much stuff going on too much. It makes my heart,
- 1:06Speaker 2: my HRV, HRV, HBR, whatever your heart does. Mine goes
- 1:10Speaker 2: when you watch the news. This is, there's not a
- 1:12Speaker 2: lot of news here. Not a lot. Sissy's got headlines, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Some traffic and weather. And here we go. Hits, hits, hits. Fun, fun, fun.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Guy says to me in the gym, Hey, what do
- 1:21Speaker 2: you listen to when you work out? I said, I
- 1:23Speaker 2: listen to hits, bro. That's the answer. I listen to hits.
- 1:26Speaker 2: All genres, all generations, but it's hits. Could be Motown hits.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Could be Kiss hits.
- 1:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Could be alternative hits, but I like hits. I don't
- 1:34Speaker 2: listen to a lot of B-sides. Hits. HRV, heart rate variability.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Thank you, Mark. I don't want to mess with that
- 1:42Speaker 2: on you.
- 1:42Speaker 7: No.
- 1:43Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Well, we've got a Thursday ahead of us, which means
- 1:46Speaker 2: there is a Ryan's Roses in our future. So stick
- 1:50Speaker 2: around for that. The other thing we're doing is we're
- 1:52Speaker 2: paying your bills. Make sure you get in touch with
- 1:55Speaker 2: us at kissfm.com. So I have your name. Ronnie is
- 1:59Speaker 2: out in Long Beach today. He's got a following. So
- 2:01Speaker 2: he's very excited. He could barely figure out what to
- 2:03Speaker 2: wear today. I don't know what he landed on. But
- 2:05Speaker 2: he's out in Long Beach with free gas. We'll check
- 2:07Speaker 2: in with him in just a little bit. Kiss 102.7.
- 2:10Speaker 2: You're on Kiss FM. We have your sold-out Jingle Ball
- 2:14Speaker 2: tickets every hour in the morning to win tickets. The
- 2:18Speaker 2: only way in is to win sunshine and getting hot
- 2:20Speaker 2: again today. Got highs around 90 degrees mid-October. Ryan's Roses
- 2:25Speaker 2: at 740 this morning. Now, Ruby, I said freeloader because, well,
- 2:31Speaker 2: you are, but it's actually great. I think here's the thing.
- 2:36Speaker 2: You know, when you grow up and your parents set
- 2:38Speaker 2: up accounts for you, if they do, if you're lucky
- 2:41Speaker 2: enough to do that, as long as you can ride
- 2:44Speaker 2: on their accounts, Don't speak up.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Heck yeah.
- 2:48Speaker 9: Yeah. Right.
- 2:49Speaker 2: So this is the phone plan you're talking about, Ruby? Yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 10: So we recently had this conversation in one of my
- 2:55Speaker 10: group chats where we're all adults, but we're still on
- 2:58Speaker 10: like our family plan, like for our phone, for our
- 3:01Speaker 10: cell phones. And so we were just talking about like,
- 3:04Speaker 10: at what point do you have to get off of
- 3:05Speaker 10: that family plan or can you just write it forever?
- 3:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Well, as long as they don't bring it up, I
- 3:11Speaker 2: wouldn't bring it up to your family. A lot of
- 3:13Speaker 2: people are still on the family plan once they become adults.
- 3:17Speaker 9: Right.
- 3:17Speaker 10: I mean, I still pay for my portion, but we
- 3:21Speaker 10: just haven't like fully created our separate or I haven't
- 3:24Speaker 10: fully created my own.
- 3:25Speaker 2: You probably get a better rate to being on the
- 3:27Speaker 2: family plan if you were to be solo. So, yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 2: if you're looking like this, if you're if they've got
- 3:33Speaker 2: the plan, you get a better rate. You're chipping in.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Who cares? I would do that until you're a Nona
- 3:39Speaker 2: or a Nana. Literally, I probably will. A lot of
- 3:44Speaker 2: people do that. I don't know. There's a big percentage
- 3:47Speaker 2: of people that are on that family plan.
- 3:48Speaker 9: You get the better of it.
- 3:48Speaker 2: But chip in. I think chipping in is the way
- 3:51Speaker 2: to go. Does everybody chip in on the plan?
- 3:53Speaker 11: Yes.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Everyone pays for their portion.
- 3:54Speaker 6: Oh, that's okay then.
- 3:55Speaker 4: So it makes it easier and cheaper.
- 3:57Speaker 2: The only thing I got to tell you that I
- 3:59Speaker 2: was thinking about, you just need to be sure that
- 4:02Speaker 2: your husband... is cool and down and understands the dynamic
- 4:06Speaker 2: because technically your parents could read your texts.
- 4:10Speaker 3: True.
- 4:11Speaker 8: Wait, what?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Does he know that?
- 4:11Speaker 6: Yeah, because they could like log into the account.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Pull up the number. Yeah, they could send a card
- 4:15Speaker 2: up and they could, they can, yeah. You need to be, David,
- 4:19Speaker 2: you need to be aware your in-laws are reading your texts.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Well, he's on his own account.
- 4:22Speaker 4: He has his separate cell phone.
- 4:24Speaker 6: No, but he's.
- 4:24Speaker 2: But he to you, you to him.
- 4:26Speaker 6: The text.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Whatever, whatever you're saying or sending.
- 4:29Speaker 9: Oh.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Your parents can see it if they want to.
- 4:32Speaker 6: They can?
- 4:32Speaker 2: They can.
- 4:33Speaker 6: You can go online and you can get the whole history.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Oh, they have to go online?
- 4:36Speaker 2: Yes. I don't know how they do it, but they
- 4:38Speaker 2: can do it.
- 4:39Speaker 6: Yes, you can definitely do it. Wait, this is concerning now.
- 4:41Speaker 2: That's the only downside to your plan.
- 4:45Speaker 6: I'm with Ryan. I would get your own for that
- 4:47Speaker 6: reason alone.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I don't know how you communicate in relationships, but some
- 4:51Speaker 2: of the things mom doesn't need to see of mine.
- 4:53Speaker 6: Yeah, you're newlyweds. You're probably sending such cute.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Little sexy texts. Oh, run. Be over on Signal with that.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Bruno Mars taking over the world once again. I just might. Finally,
- 5:07Speaker 2: someone agrees with me about marriage or not marriage. And
- 5:12Speaker 2: they're totally comfortable talking about it. And her name is
- 5:17Speaker 2: Keri Russell from The Diplomat. She met her not husband
- 5:22Speaker 2: on The Americans. They met at work.
- 5:24Speaker 4: I did not know that they weren't married.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Well, she's here to tell you and she doesn't care.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Yes, correct.
- 5:31Speaker 5: So they've been together, like you said, Keri Russell, Matthew
- 5:34Speaker 5: Reese for 13 years.
- 5:36Speaker 4: And I just assumed that they were married.
- 5:39Speaker 2: That's because you just think everybody has to follow the
- 5:43Speaker 2: same path. We're not blueprint template people. We aren't the same,
- 5:47Speaker 2: all of us.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Correct. So she was on Chelsea Handler's Dear Chelsea podcast.
- 5:52Speaker 5: And Chelsea said that she loves that the two of
- 5:54Speaker 5: them aren't married. And Keri said that she's already been
- 5:56Speaker 5: married once had the big party, she gets to dress
- 5:59Speaker 5: up all the time anyway. And then she also pointed
- 6:01Speaker 5: out that women, which I think is a very valid point,
- 6:04Speaker 5: they used to need a husband to get a credit
- 6:06Speaker 5: card and that's just not the world that we live
- 6:08Speaker 5: in anymore. So she's like, I don't need to change
- 6:11Speaker 5: my last name. The best line is she said, PS,
- 6:14Speaker 5: we have kids, so that's forever.
- 6:16Speaker 4: And to carry marriage just feels outdated.
- 6:20Speaker 5: And so I feel like some people, if they went
- 6:23Speaker 5: on a first date with somebody and they said, I
- 6:25Speaker 5: don't ever wanna get married, that's like a red flag.
- 6:28Speaker 4: And they're like, no, no, no, no, no.
- 6:29Speaker 5: But some people I feel like just have no, no
- 6:32Speaker 5: desire and they feel like it's outdated and it just
- 6:35Speaker 5: goes to show that there's a shoe for every foot.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Well, thank you for finally saying that because until Kerry
- 6:40Speaker 2: Russell said it, it wasn't gospel. Now you'll say it
- 6:44Speaker 2: and preach it to me.
- 6:44Speaker 4: I've said this for 25 years.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I've said this forever. And let me tell you something.
- 6:50Speaker 2: You know what my friends who are married do? You
- 6:52Speaker 2: know what they do?
- 6:53Speaker 9: What?
- 6:54Speaker 2: They confuse me.
- 6:56Speaker 6: Why do they confuse you?
- 6:57Speaker 2: Some will say you got to do it. It's the
- 6:59Speaker 2: best ever. Others will say, Ryan, please do me a favor.
- 7:03Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Never do this. Just don't. You didn't. You got there.
- 7:09Speaker 2: You're there. You don't need to. You're good. You don't
- 7:11Speaker 2: need to. You got past that point, maybe. I'm like, well,
- 7:14Speaker 2: what do I do? You tell me. Don't like with
- 7:18Speaker 2: panic on their face, terror on their face. Don't do it.
- 7:21Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, it's great.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Don't listen to them.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Do what you want to do. I don't know what
- 7:26Speaker 2: I want to do because I listen to other people.
- 7:28Speaker 6: That's your answer. You don't know what you want to
- 7:30Speaker 6: do yet.
- 7:30Speaker 5: I think the problem is, and here's where you can
- 7:33Speaker 5: really take what everybody says and make it your own.
- 7:36Speaker 5: The ones who are unhappily married, why are they unhappily married?
- 7:40Speaker 2: They didn't say they were unhappily married. They were just
- 7:43Speaker 2: begging me not to do it.
- 7:44Speaker 5: Find out why and then use that to your advantage
- 7:48Speaker 5: when you're picking your person.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I think that's smart.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I think I like Carrie's idea. Who cares?
- 7:57Speaker 9: All right.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Coming up. It's ironic that my mom wanted me to
- 8:00Speaker 2: marry her, isn't it?
- 8:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 6: Remember? I do remember that.
- 8:04Speaker 2: About 13 years ago, actually. That was the one famous
- 8:07Speaker 2: person my mom wanted me to meet when I moved here.
- 8:09Speaker 11: Literally.
- 8:09Speaker 2: All right. Coming up, we've got a quote of the
- 8:12Speaker 2: day and a little tip for shopping. If you're going
- 8:14Speaker 2: to the grocery store, help you buy fewer items you
- 8:16Speaker 2: don't need.
- 8:17Speaker 9: Oh.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Marcus FM, a quote of the day for this Thursday
- 8:21Speaker 2: the 15th. So when you're going to the store, keep
- 8:24Speaker 2: this in mind. You'll probably buy less stuff. Choose a
- 8:27Speaker 2: basket over a cart. I go back and forth on that.
- 8:30Speaker 6: Oh, I'll never do that.
- 8:31Speaker 11: Really?
- 8:31Speaker 2: Well, you got a family. It's just party uno. I
- 8:35Speaker 2: can grab the basket and get in and out with
- 8:37Speaker 2: my pretzels and my snacks. But if you do have
- 8:40Speaker 2: the basket, you cannot fit as much into it. You
- 8:42Speaker 2: just got to lug that thing around. So you're going
- 8:44Speaker 2: to buy less stuff.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I always see those people and I think they're so chic.
- 8:47Speaker 1: It's like, look at you with your basket and your apple.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Your one apple. One apple, just whisking in and whisking
- 8:53Speaker 2: out in their yoga clothes. You have my car that's.
- 8:56Speaker 1: So overflowed and I'm pushing it down the aisle.
- 8:59Speaker 5: I never grab a basket. Even if I grab like
- 9:01Speaker 5: five things, I always grab a cart because then you don't.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Have to carry it.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Yeah, but you have a family.
- 9:06Speaker 4: I know, but still, even if I'm going in to
- 9:08Speaker 4: grab just a few things.
- 9:09Speaker 2: How many people tonight? It'll be one. All right, today's quote.
- 9:13Speaker 2: In a world where people always want something from you,
- 9:17Speaker 2: this is very good. Pay attention to the ones who
- 9:20Speaker 2: just want you. All right? Edit when needed. Edit when needed.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Hard to do, but don't feel guilty. You've got to
- 9:30Speaker 2: edit when needed. Kiss. Good morning. LA is number one
- 9:34Speaker 2: at Music Station. Thank you for streaming on any speaker, iHeartRadio,
- 9:39Speaker 2: anywhere in the country around the world right now, actually,
- 9:41Speaker 2: based out of Kiss, Los Angeles. And coming up, we've
- 9:43Speaker 2: got Ryan's Roses, plus paying your bills. Next, Sissany with
- 9:47Speaker 2: this morning's headlines. The Kiss FM headlines with Sissany.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Well, parks and trails throughout the Santa Monica Mountains will
- 9:54Speaker 1: be closed through at least Saturday due to the increased
- 9:58Speaker 1: threat of wildfires. A massive sinkhole opened up yesterday on
- 10:02Speaker 1: a residential street in Los Feliz, nearly swallowing a spectrum
- 10:06Speaker 1: van as water from a water main break flooded the area.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Netflix is laying off about 1,000 employees, about 6% of
- 10:14Speaker 1: its workforce, and their largest round of job cuts ever.
- 10:18Speaker 1: And the Dodgers, man, the Dodgers lost another one last night,
- 10:22Speaker 1: putting them on the brink of elimination. Game four is
- 10:26Speaker 1: tonight at 5 at Dodgers Stadium.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Brittany, kiss. I pay a bill in minutes. Then we
- 10:35Speaker 2: get into Ryan's roses. So Paige is having a gender
- 10:38Speaker 2: reveal party. Hi, Paige, and good morning. And, Paige, congratulations
- 10:42Speaker 2: on your soon-to-be new addition to the family.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 10:47Speaker 2: So what's the issue?
- 10:49Speaker 3: Okay, so... We're having our gender reveal party and my
- 10:54Speaker 3: fiance just told me that he wants to have the
- 10:56Speaker 3: Dodger game on during the party because they're in the playoffs.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Well, that I know.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Right. So the deal is that we're having both of
- 11:06Speaker 3: our families and a bunch of friends over. We've been
- 11:10Speaker 3: planning it for weeks. And he says that it's not
- 11:14Speaker 3: like he's going to sit on the couch and just
- 11:15Speaker 3: watch the whole game, you know, the whole time. He just,
- 11:18Speaker 3: he wants it on in the background so people can,
- 11:21Speaker 3: you know, watch it or whatever, but I'm so annoyed. Um,
- 11:25Speaker 3: I don't want people coming to the gender reveal and
- 11:28Speaker 3: then just seeing, you know, like a playoff game on,
- 11:31Speaker 3: on this huge TV and, need to reschedule the party.
- 11:36Speaker 2: We cannot reschedule the Dodger playoff games. They are set. Guys,
- 11:40Speaker 2: the only choice left is to reschedule.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I don't have an issue with the game being on.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I love sports. I love the Dodgers.
- 11:47Speaker 6: And this creates little sections of the party.
- 11:49Speaker 2: And your friends.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Will appreciate that. Paige does not want it.
- 11:54Speaker 6: She doesn't know that yet.
- 11:55Speaker 2: You could move the party. I mean, the Dodgers are
- 11:58Speaker 2: in the playoffs. We need a three-peat. Okay, so I
- 12:00Speaker 2: get it. Now, the other part of this is, what's
- 12:03Speaker 2: that word you guys use when you're in a relationship?
- 12:05Speaker 8: Love?
- 12:06Speaker 4: Compromise.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Compromise.
- 12:07Speaker 2: That word. This word compromise, which I clearly can't register with.
- 12:12Speaker 2: But anyway, we compromise. Reveal the gender of the baby
- 12:16Speaker 2: in the seventh inning stretch. I don't know.
- 12:22Speaker 3: I don't want a game. I've been planning it for
- 12:24Speaker 3: so long. Well, yeah, he'll think you're a genius.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Or, or, or why don't you do the gender reveal earlier?
- 12:34Speaker 5: And that way you have your moment. Everybody gets to
- 12:36Speaker 5: just watch you.
- 12:37Speaker 2: And then they stay for the game.
- 12:38Speaker 4: And then they stay for the game.
- 12:39Speaker 2: There is something to nine months, nine innings. There's something there.
- 12:41Speaker 6: Yeah, I agree.
- 12:45Speaker 3: All right.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Well, go Dodgers.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:47Speaker 2: And if you have a boy, you're already decorated. Hey,
- 12:51Speaker 2: things are looking up.
- 12:52Speaker 3: That's true.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I'm happy for you and your husband. Thank you. Good
- 12:55Speaker 2: luck with this, okay?
- 12:57Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 13:01Speaker 7: All right.
- 13:02Speaker 2: We got this. Ryan's Rose is coming up in just
- 13:04Speaker 2: a couple of minutes. Sold out Jingle Ball tickets. Tanya,
- 13:06Speaker 2: why are you not breathing? What's going on over there?
- 13:07Speaker 2: You're not breathing.
- 13:08Speaker 5: You said you're interested in this new way of meeting people.
- 13:11Speaker 5: Does that mean you're finally going to go on the apps?
- 13:13Speaker 2: I said I'm interested in finding a different way to
- 13:17Speaker 2: meet people. And Sisney's like, oh, have you heard of
- 13:18Speaker 2: this new dating app?
- 13:20Speaker 8: Right.
- 13:20Speaker 2: What is it?
- 13:20Speaker 6: No, it's not a new dating app. It's a new
- 13:22Speaker 6: dating trend.
- 13:23Speaker 9: Fine.
- 13:23Speaker 2: What is it?
- 13:25Speaker 6: It's a breakfast date.
- 13:27Speaker 2: A breakfast date to go out with the person. Saturday morning.
- 13:31Speaker 6: This is the new thing. Forget dinner, drinks, all that.
- 13:34Speaker 1: No, a breakfast date would be like just grabbing coffee, pancakes.
- 13:39Speaker 6: Breakfast instead.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Eggs are romantic.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And then if it's going great, you have the rest
- 13:43Speaker 1: of the day to continue the date if you want to.
- 13:46Speaker 6: And if it's not going so great, at least your
- 13:48Speaker 6: whole day is not ruined.
- 13:49Speaker 2: This is something I could get behind. I like this idea.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I really like this idea for that very reason. Secondly,
- 13:54Speaker 2: I'm really good for about 90 minutes during coffee. My
- 13:58Speaker 2: dialogue for the coffee portion of it is pretty solid.
- 14:01Speaker 2: What's going to happen after?
- 14:02Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Things are going well, and my adrenaline kicks in, I hope.
- 14:05Speaker 6: It'll be like this morning show, but on the first date.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 14:08Speaker 2: By the time it gets to nine, you can tell
- 14:09Speaker 2: the difference here. I'd have to time it all out.
- 14:13Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I actually would do this, and I think it's a
- 14:17Speaker 2: very charming idea. Because you order different things. I think
- 14:21Speaker 2: by that, we have the oatmeal. That's not exciting. Let's
- 14:24Speaker 2: get the stack of pancakes. That's exciting. For the table.
- 14:28Speaker 2: What time is the ideal time to have it? It's
- 14:31Speaker 2: not too early to do it at 8, is it?
- 14:32Speaker 6: 8 is aggressive in my opinion.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Because you've got to get ready. You don't really have
- 14:36Speaker 2: to get ready. Or do you have to get ready?
- 14:37Speaker 7: 9.30?
- 14:37Speaker 2: I don't want to be 10. 10 is noon. Now
- 14:40Speaker 2: it's noon.
- 14:41Speaker 6: I think 10.
- 14:43Speaker 2: 9 is still early. But if you do it at
- 14:46Speaker 2: 10 and things go well, you don't get to go
- 14:48Speaker 2: to lunch because you're full from the stack of pancakes
- 14:50Speaker 2: at 10. I like 9. Nine is perfect. I'm going
- 14:51Speaker 2: to do this.
- 14:52Speaker 6: This is your date.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I can't wait. By the way, all I need is
- 14:55Speaker 2: the person. I can't wait. I know the place.
- 14:57Speaker 6: I'm sure they're lining up right now. Look at the
- 14:58Speaker 6: phone lines.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Tanya, why are your eyes closed? What is wrong?
- 15:01Speaker 4: I hate the idea of a breakfast date.
- 15:04Speaker 2: But you don't understand how to date.
- 15:06Speaker 7: Yes, I do.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I dated so much.
- 15:08Speaker 5: Being with somebody in the morning time. I feel like
- 15:12Speaker 5: my face skin isn't even, like, tight in the morning. Like,
- 15:15Speaker 5: I'm all, like, fluffy.
- 15:16Speaker 2: We spend our lives with people in the morning time,
- 15:19Speaker 2: and you're just telling me this now? Exactly.
- 15:20Speaker 6: You're not a morning person?
- 15:22Speaker 4: No, I'm a morning.
- 15:22Speaker 5: Person, but for a first date, it's a no for me.
- 15:25Speaker 2: I see why it's a trend, and I'm into it.
- 15:28Speaker 2: It's a new way, not of meeting people, but of
- 15:31Speaker 2: having a good activity when you do meet someone. Adela.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Ronnie is out live with Free Gas in Long Beach.
- 15:40Speaker 2: A little bit later this morning we'll go there. Shall we?
- 15:44Speaker 2: It's time for Ryan's Roses. Let me grab Alexander here.
- 15:49Speaker 2: 102.7 KISS FM. Thank you, Alexander, for reaching out in
- 15:52Speaker 2: Pico Rivera as a last resort in your relationship. If
- 15:56Speaker 2: you think somebody's cheating on you and you can't figure
- 15:58Speaker 2: out the answer or get to the bottom of it,
- 15:59Speaker 2: you can reach out to us. You say your friend
- 16:02Speaker 2: saw your husband out to dinner with another woman. And
- 16:05Speaker 2: what was he doing that was so alarming?
- 16:07Speaker 3: Well, he was.
- 16:10Speaker 11: They were sitting at a table and she didn't want
- 16:13Speaker 11: to tell me because she knew it would throw me
- 16:15Speaker 11: for a loop. But she said she saw my husband
- 16:18Speaker 11: after dinner with another woman. And I was like, he
- 16:22Speaker 11: has client meetings all the time. I'm sure it's not
- 16:24Speaker 11: a big deal. And my friend said, no, she was
- 16:29Speaker 11: pregnant and he was rubbing her belly. Okay.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Now, I'm just asking a question to the room. If
- 16:40Speaker 2: you're good friends with somebody, would they invite you to rub... Friends,
- 16:45Speaker 2: would they invite you to rub their belly if they're pregnant?
- 16:49Speaker 4: I mean, I've never experienced.
- 16:50Speaker 6: It's possible?
- 16:51Speaker 4: I would say it's possible, but not of the opposite sex.
- 16:54Speaker 11: I've thought of that every way, but I didn't even
- 16:59Speaker 11: really let him rub my belly when I was pregnant,
- 17:02Speaker 11: but it just... I don't know. She also said it
- 17:07Speaker 11: wasn't just for a few seconds. They were sitting next
- 17:09Speaker 11: to each other and he rubbed it like the entire
- 17:11Speaker 11: time while they were waiting for their food. So it
- 17:14Speaker 11: didn't seem like a friendly rubbing of the belly.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Have you brought this up to your husband?
- 17:21Speaker 4: I did.
- 17:22Speaker 11: I mean, kind of, I, I asked him, have you
- 17:25Speaker 11: ever been to the olive over in Downey? And he
- 17:28Speaker 11: played totally done.
- 17:29Speaker 7: He was like, Nope, never. Why?
- 17:31Speaker 11: And I was like, Oh, we should go there sometime.
- 17:34Speaker 3: It looks good.
- 17:34Speaker 11: I just, kind of totally chickened out.
- 17:37Speaker 2: All right. I'm going to put you on hold here.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Let us see. We can find out because if he's
- 17:41Speaker 2: rubbing another woman's belly, a lot of questions here, a
- 17:43Speaker 2: lot of questions.
- 17:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:44Speaker 6: I feel like as a married man, you just don't
- 17:47Speaker 6: do that.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Or is it his?
- 17:49Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 17:51Speaker 2: It's Ryan's Roses, Kiss FM. We are about to make
- 17:54Speaker 2: the call on Ryan's Roses. If you just got here,
- 17:57Speaker 2: it's Kiss FM. Good timing. We met Alexandra a minute ago.
- 18:00Speaker 2: She said that her husband was out to dinner with
- 18:02Speaker 2: another woman and And he was rubbing her pregnant belly
- 18:06Speaker 2: and she cannot figure out why. She's very concerned, obviously,
- 18:10Speaker 2: about this. So the questions are, why was he doing it?
- 18:13Speaker 2: That's very it's very intimate. And then even further, does
- 18:18Speaker 2: he have a connection to that baby?
- 18:20Speaker 11: Right.
- 18:21Speaker 2: So we've got Alexandra on the line before we make
- 18:23Speaker 2: the call. Alexandra, you had an idea. What do you
- 18:26Speaker 2: want to suggest?
- 18:28Speaker 11: I was wondering, could Tanya offer some themes for the bouquets?
- 18:33Speaker 11: Like you could say like, oh, we have some that
- 18:36Speaker 11: say happy birthday or happy anniversary, mom-to-be, Halloween or whatever.
- 18:40Speaker 11: I just think if he hears mom-to-be, he'll probably jump
- 18:45Speaker 11: on that.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Yes, I can definitely do that.
- 18:48Speaker 2: All right, Tanya, it's on you.
- 18:49Speaker 11: Okay.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Be very quiet. We're going to call him and see
- 18:51Speaker 2: if we can find out. Good luck, Alexandra.
- 19:04Speaker 7: This is Dominic.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Hi, Dominic. My name is Rachel.
- 19:08Speaker 5: I'm from a new flower shop called Rachel's Roses here
- 19:12Speaker 5: in Pico Rivera. I'm calling because you have been selected
- 19:15Speaker 5: today to receive a free dozen red roses from They're
- 19:19Speaker 5: gorgeous and I don't need anything from you. No credit
- 19:21Speaker 5: card information. All I need is the name of the
- 19:24Speaker 5: person that you want to send them to with a note.
- 19:26Speaker 5: We have beautiful bouquets. We have happy anniversary. We have
- 19:30Speaker 5: happy birthday. We have mom to be.
- 19:33Speaker 2: We have, um, you said a dozen.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Yes, a dozen.
- 19:36Speaker 3: That's expensive.
- 19:38Speaker 7: How many people are you doing this for?
- 19:40Speaker 4: We're doing five a month right now.
- 19:42Speaker 11: Oh, okay.
- 19:44Speaker 2: I get it.
- 19:44Speaker 7: Um, So hold on. You have a, you said you
- 19:47Speaker 7: had mom to be.
- 19:48Speaker 11: Yes.
- 19:49Speaker 4: It's a beautiful, I can do pink or blue or white.
- 19:52Speaker 4: They're gorgeous.
- 19:54Speaker 7: So, I mean, for me on my end, I don't
- 19:57Speaker 7: have to, I'm not like subscribed to anything. I have
- 19:59Speaker 7: to give a credit card or anything like that.
- 20:00Speaker 11: Nope.
- 20:00Speaker 5: I don't need any credit card information from you. Just
- 20:03Speaker 5: the name of the person you want to send them
- 20:05Speaker 5: to and a note and I'll get them there by lunch.
- 20:10Speaker 7: Well, dang, that sounds pretty good. Do you have a, wow,
- 20:13Speaker 7: this is serendipitous. Do you have like a pink theme
- 20:18Speaker 7: or anything like that for the mom to be? It's
- 20:21Speaker 7: a girl, so I'm just.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Yes, we have a gorgeous, a gorgeous pink rose bouquet.
- 20:26Speaker 5: I can put a little teddy bear in there for you.
- 20:28Speaker 4: It's stunning. Let me just get the name of the
- 20:29Speaker 4: person you want to send them to.
- 20:30Speaker 7: Sure.
- 20:31Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 20:31Speaker 7: It's Danielle with two L's.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 20:36Speaker 4: And what do you want to put on the note?
- 20:39Speaker 7: Um, you can just put down something like, uh, I can't, uh,
- 20:44Speaker 7: I can't, I can't wait to, oh, I can't wait
- 20:48Speaker 7: to meet, um, my little daddy's girl.
- 20:51Speaker 11: How about that?
- 20:51Speaker 7: And you can do daddy's daddy's girl, like in, uh,
- 20:55Speaker 7: like quotations or something.
- 20:56Speaker 6: That's so sweet.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Dominic.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Dominic, your voice is being broadcast on the radio and
- 21:03Speaker 2: I have your wife, not Danielle, Alexandra. on the line.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Can you explain what's going on? I'm confused.
- 21:15Speaker 7: Uh, I'm a little confused too. Uh, cause I'm not married. Huh?
- 21:23Speaker 2: Alexandra, is this your husband, Dominic, that you told me about?
- 21:28Speaker 7: Well, I'm well, I got Alexandra and I got divorced
- 21:34Speaker 7: about a year ago.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Alexander, is that true?
- 21:39Speaker 11: Well, yeah, but I just... Were you ever going to
- 21:43Speaker 11: tell me at some point?
- 21:46Speaker 7: About... I mean, yes, of course I was going to tell...
- 21:49Speaker 7: What are you doing right now?
- 21:51Speaker 11: What is this? Were you going to tell your sons
- 21:55Speaker 11: that they were about to have a baby sister?
- 21:57Speaker 7: Yeah, I was going to tell... I was going to
- 22:00Speaker 7: tell anybody that would need to know when the time
- 22:02Speaker 7: was right. I just don't understand why you're doing this.
- 22:05Speaker 7: Why are you having people call me And I'm, like,
- 22:11Speaker 7: literally supposed to be going back to work right now.
- 22:14Speaker 11: Why are you doing this? I asked if you'd been
- 22:17Speaker 11: to the Olive, and you said no. And Jamie said
- 22:19Speaker 11: she saw you at the Olive with some woman, Danielle, apparently.
- 22:23Speaker 11: And you were rubbing your belly, and you lied to me.
- 22:26Speaker 7: I cannot believe this.
- 22:28Speaker 2: But you're not married.
- 22:30Speaker 7: No, she's not married to me at all.
- 22:33Speaker 2: So, Dominic, just so you know, we're caught in the
- 22:35Speaker 2: middle of this. She reached out to us saying... She
- 22:37Speaker 2: thinks you're cheating on her with another woman because somebody
- 22:40Speaker 2: saw you out rubbing. Obviously, Danielle is her name, her stomach,
- 22:45Speaker 2: her pregnant stomach. And so we were calling to find
- 22:47Speaker 2: out what's going on. But, Alexandra, you weren't forthcoming with
- 22:50Speaker 2: us about the status of your relationship with Dominic not
- 22:52Speaker 2: being active. So we are going to get out of this. Dominic,
- 22:57Speaker 2: it sounds like you're completely not with Alexandra. You're expecting
- 23:01Speaker 2: a child. Congratulations. And I hope everything goes well.
- 23:04Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 23:05Speaker 7: Yeah, and I don't want to disparage Alexandra. I mean, look,
- 23:09Speaker 7: I know this has been tough for everybody, but this
- 23:12Speaker 7: is borderline, like, extremely inappropriate and a little bit, I'm
- 23:17Speaker 7: not going to say crazy, but it's like, it's a
- 23:19Speaker 7: little bit much.
- 23:20Speaker 2: We understand. We're going to take you both off the air.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Dominic. And Alexandra, please, I wish
- 23:28Speaker 2: you'd given us that information. That makes a difference.
- 23:30Speaker 6: Huge difference.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Ryan's Roses. Kiss FM. I had not thought that through.
- 23:36Speaker 2: That did not take a turn on me. I did
- 23:38Speaker 2: not think that was the direction that call was going
- 23:40Speaker 2: to go.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Same.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Olivia Rodrigo dropped dead. It's 102.7 Kiss FM. Oh, last night,
- 23:51Speaker 2: meaning yesterday late afternoon because my bedtime was 742. It
- 23:55Speaker 2: was fun. You guys at the pumpkin patch. Ronnie was
- 23:57Speaker 2: out there in his sheer. And now he's out. You
- 24:00Speaker 2: are busy, Ronnie. No sleep. No sleep for Ronnie Henry.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Straight from the pumpkin patch yesterday with Sisney and Tanya
- 24:06Speaker 2: and myself. Right into free gas in Long Beach. Good morning, Ronnie.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Good morning, you guys. You do sound like you're at
- 24:15Speaker 2: the pumpkin patch last night, actually. Yeah, it's a rager.
- 24:19Speaker 9: I sound tired, yeah. I am a little sleepy this morning.
- 24:23Speaker 2: You don't drink coffee?
- 24:25Speaker 9: I don't drink coffee. I haven't even had my morning
- 24:27Speaker 9: water yet. That's like normally what wakes me up is water.
- 24:32Speaker 2: The research shows that one year, I think after one
- 24:35Speaker 2: year of working with me, everyone turns to coffee. That's
- 24:37Speaker 2: what happens.
- 24:39Speaker 8: Oh, well, what's your coffee order?
- 24:42Speaker 2: Mine's strong black coffee for now. Oh, For now, I
- 24:46Speaker 2: only drink strong. I thought I have strong black coffee.
- 24:49Speaker 6: Always been a black coffee drinker.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Even when I went bike riding with Ted, I had
- 24:51Speaker 2: coffee in the morning. He goes, oh, your coffee's too strong.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I'm like, it's not too strong. Anyway, Ronnie, you've got
- 24:56Speaker 2: free gas in Long Beach. Tell me about it.
- 24:58Speaker 9: Yes. Boy in a Mercedes. So let's see right now.
- 25:04Speaker 11: Excuse me, sir.
- 25:05Speaker 2: I think he's in his pajamas.
- 25:08Speaker 9: Wait, you said I'm in my pajamas?
- 25:09Speaker 6: We're like, wake it up, Ronnie.
- 25:12Speaker 9: I'm actually dressed very nice today.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Okay. I'm wearing white.
- 25:17Speaker 9: This man's just looking at me crazy. Sorry.
- 25:19Speaker 8: Excuse me, sir.
- 25:21Speaker 9: My name is Ronnie. I work with Kiss FM. We
- 25:23Speaker 9: would love to fill up your gas sink this morning.
- 25:24Speaker 9: Do you want free gas?
- 25:25Speaker 11: Yes.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 25:26Speaker 9: I have Ryan on the phone. He wants to talk
- 25:28Speaker 9: to you.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Hi.
- 25:30Speaker 9: Hi.
- 25:31Speaker 2: What's your name?
- 25:32Speaker 8: My name is James.
- 25:33Speaker 2: James, it is Ryan Seacrest. We're on Kiss FM in
- 25:36Speaker 2: the morning. That's Ronnie who works with us here on
- 25:37Speaker 2: the morning show. How are you doing, James? I'm doing great.
- 25:40Speaker 8: How are you?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Super good. So he said that we're going to fill
- 25:44Speaker 2: your tank up, which we are. You don't have to
- 25:46Speaker 2: do anything, answer any questions, be a certain caller. We
- 25:49Speaker 2: are just showing up to take care of it for you.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 25:53Speaker 9: Thank you so much.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Where are you headed, James?
- 25:56Speaker 9: I'm headed to work.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Where do you work, James?
- 25:59Speaker 8: I'm working at a school.
- 26:00Speaker 9: I'm a substitute teacher.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I love that. And are the kids nice to you
- 26:05Speaker 2: or do they love a day with a sub?
- 26:08Speaker 9: They love me. I'm the best.
- 26:10Speaker 2: You are the best. You sound like it. Do you
- 26:12Speaker 2: drink coffee? What's your coffee order?
- 26:15Speaker 9: I like a caramel macchiato.
- 26:17Speaker 11: Nice.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Man, that is a trick or treat.
- 26:19Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 26:20Speaker 6: Dessert.
- 26:20Speaker 2: That's a real treat in the morning. All right, we're
- 26:23Speaker 2: going to fill up that tank. That is Ronnie. He'll
- 26:26Speaker 2: take care of you. James, good luck today with the kids.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Thanks for listening to us.
- 26:30Speaker 9: Thank you so much.
- 26:31Speaker 8: Have a good day.
- 26:31Speaker 2: All right, you too.
- 26:32Speaker 11: Bye, James.
- 26:35Speaker 8: Hello.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Ronnie, your work is unparalleled. Thank you. We'll check back
- 26:39Speaker 2: in with you in a little bit. More free gas
- 26:40Speaker 2: in Long Beach. Ronnie, he's wearing white today. Look for
- 26:43Speaker 2: him in the KISS vehicle at a gas station soon.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Talk to you guys later. Bye. See, he sounds awake now.
- 26:50Speaker 2: He's all fired up now. All right. We are going
- 26:54Speaker 2: to take Jasmine here at 805-201027. Ronnie earlier was talking
- 26:58Speaker 2: about this great idea. I love it. He went on
- 27:00Speaker 2: a cruise with his mom, just the two of them.
- 27:03Speaker 2: And he said really the major negative was he couldn't
- 27:05Speaker 2: hook up with somebody. And that was our takeaway.
- 27:08Speaker 6: Literally so crazy.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Jasmine is on the phone and you're also going on
- 27:13Speaker 2: a cruise. It's a bachelorette party cruise, Jasmine.
- 27:17Speaker 11: Yes.
- 27:18Speaker 2: And I don't know these women.
- 27:20Speaker 11: We live in different cities.
- 27:22Speaker 8: And I asked my friend if I could get my
- 27:24Speaker 8: own room and she says, oh, it's fully booked. And
- 27:26Speaker 8: that's why we're all sharing. So now I'm honestly thinking
- 27:31Speaker 8: about backing out completely. I don't want to spend a
- 27:33Speaker 8: bunch of money on a trip where I'm going to
- 27:35Speaker 8: be uncomfortable the entire time sleeping three feet away from
- 27:39Speaker 8: people that I've never met.
- 27:41Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 27:42Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Now, did you see the only person you know is
- 27:44Speaker 2: the bride? Yeah.
- 27:47Speaker 8: I mean, like her cousin, I've met her once, but like, yeah,
- 27:52Speaker 8: pretty much the only person I know is the bride.
- 27:54Speaker 8: We're all going to be drinking. And I don't know
- 27:57Speaker 8: how people act when they drink. It's going to be crazy.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Not like they act when they don't drink. I can
- 28:02Speaker 2: tell you for a fact, I don't know.
- 28:05Speaker 8: Yeah, for sure.
- 28:06Speaker 2: So first thing I think about is you need to check.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I don't know how far out you are, but usually
- 28:11Speaker 2: there's a deposit cancellation policy. You may not be able
- 28:14Speaker 2: to get your money back yet. Or now, at whatever
- 28:18Speaker 2: stage you're in. Because if you've already paid and you
- 28:20Speaker 2: can't get out of it, you've got to go. You
- 28:22Speaker 2: don't want to waste the money.
- 28:23Speaker 11: Well, no.
- 28:24Speaker 5: The friends are counting on her. If she bails and
- 28:27Speaker 5: then there are just three in the room, their price
- 28:29Speaker 5: is going to go up.
- 28:31Speaker 2: But she loses her money.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Totally.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Can I just be candid with you, Jasmine? I know
- 28:37Speaker 2: we just met, but to me, this is about earplugs,
- 28:39Speaker 2: an eye mask, and some Zen tea. And you just
- 28:42Speaker 2: grin and bear it.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, that makes sense.
- 28:46Speaker 2: For the good of the bride, for the good of
- 28:47Speaker 2: the friendship, grin and bear it. I think you do
- 28:49Speaker 2: it for your friend.
- 28:51Speaker 8: Cool, I'll tough it out.
- 28:52Speaker 11: Thank you so much.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Kiss FM. Coming up 9, 10, another shot to get
- 28:57Speaker 2: your bills paid. We pay your bills. Jessica's in Carson.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Good morning, Jess.
- 29:04Speaker 11: Hey, Ryan, how are you?
- 29:06Speaker 2: I'm good. How are you doing? I'm good.
- 29:08Speaker 9: I'm so excited.
- 29:09Speaker 11: I'm a huge Olivia Rodrigo fan, so I really want
- 29:11Speaker 11: to go see her.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 29:12Speaker 8: Perfect.
- 29:13Speaker 2: So I've got tickets for you to win right now
- 29:15Speaker 2: to see her and everybody at our sold out Jingle Ball.
- 29:18Speaker 2: It is the game you might have heard about. It's
- 29:20Speaker 2: called Olivia or Shakespeare. Olivia Rodrigo or Shakespeare. Have you
- 29:28Speaker 2: heard of it?
- 29:30Speaker 11: No.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Then allow me to explain. I'll read you a sentence.
- 29:36Speaker 2: You tell me if it's an Olivia Rodrigo lyric or
- 29:38Speaker 2: a line from one of Shakespeare's.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Plays.
- 29:40Speaker 2: It's all in the title. Here we go. You got
- 29:42Speaker 2: to get three right before you get three wrong, shall we?
- 29:44Speaker 3: OK, sounds good.
- 29:48Speaker 2: I thought and I'll just read them as me. OK,
- 29:50Speaker 2: I'm not going to perform them. I thought my heart
- 29:55Speaker 2: was detached from all the sunlight of your past. Is
- 29:59Speaker 2: that Olivia Rodrigo or Shakespeare?
- 30:02Speaker 11: I'm saying Shakespeare.
- 30:03Speaker 2: No, it's actually Olivia Rodrigo. That's a compliment then, huh?
- 30:07Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Happier off her shower album. All right, next one. Love
- 30:12Speaker 2: is merely a madness. Who's that?
- 30:19Speaker 9: Um.
- 30:21Speaker 11: I'm going to say Shakespeare.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Yes, it is Shakespeare. Good job. Okay, the next one.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Olivia Rodrigo or Shakespeare said, love looks not with the eyes,
- 30:32Speaker 2: but with the mind.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Shakespeare.
- 30:37Speaker 2: You can tell by the order of the words there, right?
- 30:39Speaker 2: That old structure of the sentence. Okay, so you got
- 30:44Speaker 2: two down. You only have one more to win. You
- 30:46Speaker 2: go see Olivia Rodrigo. Like cutting her down will make
- 30:49Speaker 2: you miss my wretched heart. Is that Shakespeare or Olivia Rodrigo?
- 30:57Speaker 11: I'm going to say Olivia Rodrigo.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Correct. You're going to see her at our show. Enough
- 31:05Speaker 2: for you.
- 31:06Speaker 11: Thank you so much.
- 31:07Speaker 2: You're welcome, Jessica.
- 31:08Speaker 8: I'm so excited.
- 31:09Speaker 2: We will see you there. Have a wonderful day.
- 31:11Speaker 11: Thank you. You too.
- 31:12Speaker 6: Okay.

- 31:37Speaker 2: into class this morning. Now, Ronnie, what you got for
- 31:40Speaker 2: us out there live with free gas filling up people's tanks?
- 31:43Speaker 9: Good morning. I have to go to a different gas station.
- 31:46Speaker 9: The gas station I was at was empty. So I'm
- 31:48Speaker 9: literally still en route to fill people up.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Okay.
- 31:51Speaker 8: All right.

- 32:16Speaker 2: We went and did the pumpkins at 5 o'clock. Where
- 32:19Speaker 2: did he go afterwards?
- 32:20Speaker 6: Ella Langley at the Greek.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Is that why his voice is raspy?
- 32:23Speaker 7: 100%.

- 32:23Speaker 8: 100%.
- 32:23Speaker 6: All right.

- 32:28Speaker 2: all of a sudden quickly. You found somebody. How was
- 32:29Speaker 2: Ella Langley last night? She was so good.
- 32:33Speaker 9: You know, Susan Texas has really... Sorry, this is why I.
