- 0:00Speaker 1: Podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Welcome to Meet Eater Trivia, the only game show where
- 0:13Speaker 2: conservation always wins. I'm your host, Spencer new Arthan. Today
- 0:17Speaker 2: we're joined by Steve, Michael, Keith, Mary Claire, Cody Logan
- 0:21Speaker 2: and Brad. This is normally a ten round quiz show
- 0:24Speaker 2: with questions from Meat Eater's four verticals, but today, because
- 0:28Speaker 2: we're at the First Light store in Hayley, we're bringing
- 0:31Speaker 2: back the meat pole game. This is a test of
- 0:34Speaker 2: how much you know about your fellow hunters and anglers. Now.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I have some high hopes for some of our First
- 0:39Speaker 2: Light players today, especially those that deal with customers all
- 0:42Speaker 2: the time. You should be really in tune with what
- 0:45Speaker 2: Meat Eater listeners you know, have going on in their world. Keith,
- 0:49Speaker 2: you feel okay about you know your customers?
- 0:51Speaker 3: He asks them what they think about Bigfoot?
- 0:54Speaker 2: Keith, do you you know they just want to tell
- 0:56Speaker 2: me all about it?
- 0:57Speaker 3: Honestly?
- 0:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Cody's a big the connoisseurly group.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Really yeah, I mean I don't I don't remember how
- 1:04Speaker 2: it happened, but it did happen. Ended up talking for
- 1:06Speaker 2: forty five minutes, not doing any work, but talk about
- 1:09Speaker 2: Bigfoot on the phone with the customer. Okay.
- 1:11Speaker 3: In the end, he's like, do you have these XXXXL.
- 1:17Speaker 2: That's a kind of customer service you'll get here at
- 1:19Speaker 2: first light. You called to ask about the uncompagred jacket,
- 1:24Speaker 2: and Cody might entertain you for forty five minutes with
- 1:28Speaker 2: bigfoot story.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm your guy. Absolutely. What's the biggest sock you make? Now?
- 1:34Speaker 2: But between games, we just finished another game. The Logan
- 1:37Speaker 2: and Claire smack talk has continued. Claire declared Logan that
- 1:41Speaker 2: you were condescending when you guys play trivia together, so
- 1:44Speaker 2: it was very satisfying for her to beat you that
- 1:46Speaker 2: last game. I would agree with that, okay.
- 1:49Speaker 5: I would also like to point out that when this
- 1:52Speaker 5: new format aired a couple of weeks ago, she didn't
- 1:55Speaker 5: like it at all.
- 1:56Speaker 3: People don't like it.
- 1:57Speaker 5: But as you were explaining the rules, she was nodding,
- 1:59Speaker 5: and I think she's h wow, the uh.
- 2:04Speaker 2: The Claire and Logan rivalry continues.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Yeah, people don't like the format right still, because you
- 2:11Speaker 3: haven't fine tuned it yet.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I wouldn't say that you've addressed my primary problem. Yeah, okay.
- 2:17Speaker 3: And then the scoring is did you fix that? Is
- 2:19Speaker 3: it not so complicated?
- 2:20Speaker 2: We simplified this scoring as well, and you know, UH
- 2:24Speaker 2: people are going to have to like it because this
- 2:26Speaker 2: is what we're going to do on the live tour
- 2:27Speaker 2: that's right up this spring. If you're coming to the
- 2:30Speaker 2: Live Tour UH and you are part of the audience,
- 2:33Speaker 2: you are going to be part of the group that
- 2:34Speaker 2: has surveyed that night. So we're going to bring this
- 2:36Speaker 2: similar concept UH to each city and we're going to
- 2:39Speaker 2: learn about those folks that are sitting in those chairs
- 2:43Speaker 2: and what their personal experiences and personal tastes are when
- 2:46Speaker 2: it comes to the outdoors.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Yeah, meaning when you come in, when you come into
- 2:50Speaker 3: the live shows, not run through the dates a minute.
- 2:52Speaker 3: When you come into the live shows, there's going to
- 2:53Speaker 3: be a code, right mm hmm. There's a code you
- 2:55Speaker 3: hit on your phone, so every you can, we can
- 2:59Speaker 3: survey every person there. It's not like Spencer has to
- 3:01Speaker 3: go talk to them all out in front of the
- 3:04Speaker 3: big Foot booth. I'm joking when I have a big
- 3:08Speaker 3: Foot booth there, but that was an inside joke. Anyways,
- 3:11Speaker 3: you can hit a code and take a survey. So
- 3:13Speaker 3: when we play the survey game, when the audience plays
- 3:15Speaker 3: the survey game at the end, of the show, you're
- 3:18Speaker 3: being surveyed about the people next to you. Yeah, like
- 3:21Speaker 3: people here tonight? What percent of people here tonight? Blank? Yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 2: We'll see what Steve thinks about our audience at each show.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Maybe it'll be insulting, maybe maybe he'll be very flattering.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'll be You'll you'll be able to look
- 3:34Speaker 3: around you and be like, I don't know what the
- 3:35Speaker 3: hell these people think, And that's how the survey show
- 3:38Speaker 3: will go. Can I hit the dates? Yeah, We'll be
- 3:41Speaker 3: doing this Masa Arizona, which is one of those places
- 3:45Speaker 3: where it's like it's I mean, it's kind of Phoenix,
- 3:49Speaker 3: Masa Arizona Masa Arts Center April twenty three, San Diego, California,
- 3:55Speaker 3: the Balboa Theater April twenty four, and I High in
- 4:00Speaker 3: California the Grove of Anaheim April twenty five. Then I
- 4:07Speaker 3: go spearfish on my buddy Greg, and then we do
- 4:11Speaker 3: Sacramento at the Crest Theater April twenty seventh. Then we
- 4:16Speaker 3: go to Salt Lake City, Utah the Union Events Center April.
- 4:20Speaker 3: What am I on now? April twenty nine, that's another
- 4:23Speaker 3: day off. I go and try to hunt turkeys that
- 4:24Speaker 3: day Boise, Idaho the Egyptian Theater Tuesday, April thirty. Then
- 4:32Speaker 3: my old hometown Missoula at the Wilma Theater May first.
- 4:37Speaker 3: I got a million stories about the Wilma, which I
- 4:39Speaker 3: will tell at the Wilma Spokane, Washington on May second,
- 4:44Speaker 3: the Bing Crosby Theater, Portland, Oregon, Revolution Hall May four,
- 4:51Speaker 3: and wrapping up in Tacoma, Washington at Pantagious Theater May five.
- 4:58Speaker 2: So we're bringing this game to you, guys. There's other
- 5:01Speaker 2: parts of the show real well, there'll be a lot
- 5:04Speaker 2: going on. This is three ring circus, one of those elements.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Sometimes it feels like more rings just three. Are we
- 5:09Speaker 2: getting that Tuesday?
- 5:11Speaker 5: We're getting that Tuesday off to come see the show.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Yes, you hear this.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Clay can't go back on that now.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Clay nukeomb who's going to every show. He's bringing his
- 5:21Speaker 3: guitar and he's gonna on the last leg of the tour.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Chester the Divester I almost did his old I still
- 5:28Speaker 3: have him in my phone as I don't even want
- 5:29Speaker 3: to say it. My kids are. I was like, what's
- 5:31Speaker 3: a a person that messes everything up? But Chester the Divester,
- 5:41Speaker 3: Chester the Midwester. I think that's what he is right now,
- 5:44Speaker 3: because he was Chester the Investor when he got into bitcoine.
- 5:48Speaker 3: He was Chester the divester when he got out of Bitcoin.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Now he's Chester the Midwester. He did the opening act
- 5:54Speaker 3: that the last leg, but Clay himself is getting up
- 5:57Speaker 3: and singing a tune every night for the new tour
- 6:00Speaker 3: Be Special.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Now here's how this game works. I serve a six
- 6:04Speaker 2: hundred meat Eater listeners and ask them questions about personal
- 6:07Speaker 2: experiences and personal preferences. Your job is to predict their answers.
- 6:12Speaker 2: There will be one round per player, with a bonus
- 6:14Speaker 2: round at the end. Each player will take a turn
- 6:16Speaker 2: as the guesser. When it's your turn to be the guesser,
- 6:19Speaker 2: you'll answer a question that's related to my polling data.
- 6:22Speaker 2: All answers are in the form of percentages guess. After
- 6:26Speaker 2: the guesser has provided their number, our other players will
- 6:30Speaker 2: predict if the real answer is higher or lower. The
- 6:33Speaker 2: guesser will receive points based on how close they get
- 6:36Speaker 2: to the real answer, and the other players will receive
- 6:39Speaker 2: points based on if they correctly choose higher or lower.
- 6:42Speaker 2: See if you're the only one who's done this before.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Do you have any tips for your competitors?
- 6:46Speaker 3: I got a tip for you. Okay, I think that
- 6:49Speaker 3: all players should write down the number they think it is.
- 6:52Speaker 2: We'll try that at someone today. Today we're doing the
- 6:55Speaker 2: the higher or lower version. Now, before we play, we'll
- 6:58Speaker 2: do a practice round to make sure every everyone is
- 7:00Speaker 2: comfortable with the format. For the practice round, Steve is
- 7:03Speaker 2: going to be the guest. Or That means Steve will
- 7:05Speaker 2: provide an answer, and after he's done so everyone else
- 7:08Speaker 2: will predict if the real answer is higher or lower
- 7:12Speaker 2: than Steve's answer. Steve, what percentage of Americans have called
- 7:16Speaker 2: the police because of a neighbor? This wasn't part of
- 7:20Speaker 2: my polling. This is some Pew research. So it's what
- 7:23Speaker 2: percentage of Americans have called the police because of a neighbor?
- 7:30Speaker 2: Think out loud here have you? Have you ever called
- 7:33Speaker 2: the police?
- 7:36Speaker 3: I don't want to tell it right now. I will
- 7:40Speaker 3: tell you crazy ass story about calling the police.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Okay, you're not going to do it now?
- 7:50Speaker 3: The police? Well, I don't know two police callings. It's
- 7:55Speaker 3: it's the wildest story, but I want to tell it
- 8:01Speaker 3: on the air. Huh, My guest is gonna be thirty
- 8:03Speaker 3: because people live a long time.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Uh huh, So Steve's answer is thirty. Now, everyone else
- 8:09Speaker 2: you need to think about if the real answer is
- 8:11Speaker 2: higher or lower than that, Like.
- 8:14Speaker 3: My neighbors are making too much noise, my neighbors are
- 8:16Speaker 3: fighting out in the street.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Sure, parked in the wrong spot?
- 8:19Speaker 3: Good?
- 8:19Speaker 2: Good, thirty thing thirty is everyone nexteen? Now, if you
- 8:23Speaker 2: think it's higher than that, you'll raise the green paddle,
- 8:25Speaker 2: And if you think it's lower than that, you'll let
- 8:27Speaker 2: raise the red past sixteen? Is everybody ready raise your paddles?
- 8:32Speaker 2: We have Brad going higher higher, higher, lower, higher, higher higher.
- 8:37Speaker 2: The real answer is twenty three percent, So only.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I want to stick to my original answer at thirty.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Okay, so Steve, yeah, mm hmm.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Now I want to tell my story so bad dude us?
- 8:54Speaker 2: Is it a time issue? Is it like a legality?
- 8:56Speaker 3: Issuety kids might hear this.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Sensitivity is okay, okay, our audience is timilated. But there's
- 9:03Speaker 2: there's no payoff here. Steve is not. He's not going
- 9:06Speaker 2: to tell you the story. Maybe maybe in Missoula. There's
- 9:16Speaker 2: your teas. Buy a ticket to the Missoula show. Now
- 9:19Speaker 2: the scoring will be in the description of this episode.
- 9:22Speaker 2: You can refer to that, but if you're right on
- 9:24Speaker 2: the nose, you'd get twenty points. If you're five off,
- 9:26Speaker 2: you're fifteen ten off ten points, and if you correctly
- 9:29Speaker 2: predict higher lower, you get five points. Now, before we
- 9:32Speaker 2: get started, let's talk a bit of strategy. As a reminder,
- 9:34Speaker 2: this is polling data of my survey from six hundred
- 9:38Speaker 2: meat Eater listeners. These are not just some yahoo's outside
- 9:41Speaker 2: of a kenocious sears. Next, your best opportunity to score
- 9:44Speaker 2: points is by doing a great job when you're the guesser.
- 9:47Speaker 2: You can earn up to twenty points as the guesser. Well,
- 9:50Speaker 2: everyone else can only get five points by correctly answering
- 9:53Speaker 2: higher or lower. So your one opportunity as the guesser
- 9:57Speaker 2: is very important. And just like with every other episode
- 10:00Speaker 2: of med Eater Trivia, there's five hundred dollars on the line.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Our winner will get to choose where the five hundred
- 10:05Speaker 2: dollars donation goes.
- 10:06Speaker 3: It's everybody ready, Yeah, I got a little thing for you.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Okay, let's hear it.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Is it in golf. You're trying to get a low score,
- 10:13Speaker 3: that's right, So if you do what I'm saying, everybody
- 10:21Speaker 3: picks the number, but you're you're chasing a low score.
- 10:26Speaker 3: There you go, so your number off from reality.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Stars onto something we're working out for life to today
- 10:33Speaker 2: we're doing the ping pong battles, play the drop, Phil, Look,
- 10:39Speaker 2: I need to know what I stand to win everything?
- 10:44Speaker 3: How's say, just tend to win everything?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Game on Suckers. Question one, this will be for Brad. Brad,
- 10:58Speaker 2: what percentage of ag said they've lied about the size
- 11:02Speaker 2: of a fish before? Oh man, the question was, have
- 11:06Speaker 2: you ever lied about the size of a fish? They
- 11:08Speaker 2: had to say yes or no? So what percentage of
- 11:10Speaker 2: anglers said they've lied about the size of a fish before?
- 11:15Speaker 6: I mean, I feel like everyone's guilty of exaggerating a
- 11:20Speaker 6: little bit.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Okay, is that yourself included? You're saying, I.
- 11:23Speaker 6: Just think every fisherman you know, you don't any fishermen
- 11:26Speaker 6: admit it?
- 11:27Speaker 7: Yeah, that's there's an interesting honesty play here.
- 11:31Speaker 6: I'm assuming that these people are gonna be honest here
- 11:34Speaker 6: with Spencer's pot, it's anymous there.
- 11:36Speaker 2: It is anonymous when they're answering said that they're just
- 11:39Speaker 2: lying to themselves. What your kids answer.
- 11:43Speaker 3: A lot every time? He looks in the water. It's like,
- 11:50Speaker 3: you see, are you sure? Because I just looked down
- 11:53Speaker 3: there too.
- 11:55Speaker 2: So Brad, what percentage of anglers said they've lied about
- 11:59Speaker 2: the size of a fish before?
- 12:01Speaker 3: I'm gonna go relatively high.
- 12:02Speaker 6: I'm gonna say like eighty five percent.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Eighty five percent. Everyone else will now decide if the
- 12:07Speaker 2: real answer is higher or lower than eighty five percent.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Is everybody ready raise your paddles? We have Claire saying higher,
- 12:18Speaker 2: Mary saying lower, Michael saying lower, Cody saying higher, Logan
- 12:23Speaker 2: saying higher, Keith saying lower, Steve saying lower. The correct
- 12:27Speaker 2: answer was forty two percent.
- 12:30Speaker 6: They're lying, They're lying to themselves. On you're interviewing compulsive liars.
- 12:41Speaker 7: That's a good baseline question to start with.
- 12:43Speaker 3: There you go.
- 12:44Speaker 2: According to a twenty twenty three survey of American adults,
- 12:48Speaker 2: the average person lies two times per day. The study
- 12:52Speaker 2: found that about forty percent of people lie on their
- 12:54Speaker 2: resumes and ninety percent of people lie in their dating profile.
- 12:58Speaker 2: The worst offenders of all, though, are politicians, who were
- 13:01Speaker 2: shown to lie once every five minutes during a debate,
- 13:05Speaker 2: and fishermen and fishermen they even lie about their.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Lies how do you lie in your dating profile? You're like, like,
- 13:11Speaker 3: you don't actually like long walks on the beach.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Who has a dating profile in here right now?
- 13:18Speaker 3: No one.
- 13:18Speaker 2: No one's admitting it. Okay, I'm on Hinge, fine me,
- 13:27Speaker 2: you're in Hay. You can find Cody on Hinge. Hinge.
- 13:32Speaker 2: You lie? How would you lie about your profile?
- 13:36Speaker 3: I don't lie on my profile?
- 13:37Speaker 2: Oh he doesn't lie, Okay, I got I got some
- 13:44Speaker 2: dog photos on there, though.
- 13:45Speaker 3: You don't do fish pictures because I've been told you
- 13:48Speaker 3: want to do like, uh, you kind of chilling and
- 13:51Speaker 3: then you're doing what you love you But but I
- 13:56Speaker 3: got married before this was even the thing, so I
- 13:58Speaker 3: got no, I never.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Do my best.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I don't even know I'm either Okay.
- 14:02Speaker 6: The fish pick is divisive though, Like you know, there
- 14:06Speaker 6: are like two trains of thought.
- 14:07Speaker 3: It's like you have it out there.
- 14:09Speaker 6: So then the girl just like knows what you are.
- 14:12Speaker 2: And then there's a liar.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, you lie about the size of the
- 14:17Speaker 4: fish in your fish picture.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Yeah. Then later when you do get together and you're
- 14:21Speaker 3: in trouble for fishing all the time, you like, dude,
- 14:25Speaker 3: you back to my profile exactly. It was all me fishing.
- 14:30Speaker 3: That was just a that was just a representation of
- 14:32Speaker 3: what I do as advertised.
- 14:34Speaker 2: When you come to Haley, then you come to the
- 14:36Speaker 2: first Light store, and then you also download hinge and
- 14:39Speaker 2: you'll find Cody there with his fish dog pictures.
- 14:42Speaker 3: But they like it's just it's under your name.
- 14:47Speaker 2: You put like you put like like your your mileage
- 14:51Speaker 2: where you want to like travel to. I'm around like
- 14:55Speaker 2: fifteen miles. So okay, that was Question two is for Claire. Claire,
- 15:04Speaker 2: what percentage of out doorsman said they'd rather own thirty
- 15:07Speaker 2: acres of water instead of ten acres of land? Oh?
- 15:14Speaker 2: What percentage of out doorsman said they'd rather own thirty
- 15:18Speaker 2: acres of water instead of ten acres of land? Think
- 15:21Speaker 2: out loud here, Claire, which one of those would you pick?
- 15:23Speaker 2: Thirty acres of water ten acres of land?
- 15:26Speaker 7: I would pick ten acres of land. But I'm not
- 15:28Speaker 7: a big I mean, if you own thirty acres of water,
- 15:32Speaker 7: you're like you have your own little lake, and thirty,
- 15:36Speaker 7: I mean thirty acres is pretty big. You can have
- 15:38Speaker 7: a boat on that.
- 15:40Speaker 2: So what percentage of out doorsman said they'd rather own
- 15:43Speaker 2: thirty acres of water instead of ten acres of land.
- 15:46Speaker 7: I think it's probably big with our audience because our
- 15:49Speaker 7: audience is a lot of lake fishermen. I'm not a
- 15:51Speaker 7: big lake fisherman, so I would not pick this myself.
- 15:56Speaker 7: But it's higher than fifty percent, so I'm gonna go
- 15:58Speaker 7: with like seventy two percent.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Okay, Claire's saying seventy two percent. Seventy two percent of
- 16:05Speaker 2: outdoorsmen would rather own thirty acres of water instead of
- 16:09Speaker 2: ten acres of land. Does everybody have their paddle ready?
- 16:13Speaker 2: Go ahead and raise your panels when Mary saying lower,
- 16:15Speaker 2: Michael's saying lower, everybody is saying lower. Everybody was right.
- 16:21Speaker 2: The correct answer was nineteen percent. Damn, nineteen percent would
- 16:26Speaker 2: rather have the thirty acres of water instead of the
- 16:29Speaker 2: ten acres of land. According to data from Texas, the
- 16:32Speaker 2: average price of an acre of land is two thousand,
- 16:35Speaker 2: five hundred dollars, while the average price of an acre
- 16:38Speaker 2: of surface water is four thousand, five hundred dollars. That means,
- 16:42Speaker 2: in Texas, the thirty acre lake would be worth about
- 16:45Speaker 2: one hundred thousand dollars more than the ten acres of land.
- 16:49Speaker 3: So, I mean, economically, if you're sure, we're paying that
- 16:54Speaker 3: much more for.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Well, how many private thirty acre lakes are out there?
- 16:58Speaker 2: How many?
- 16:59Speaker 3: Then you're talking about down there. You're talking about some
- 17:01Speaker 3: boetal shortline too, man.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Some more folks want the ten acres of land though.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Question three, this is for Mary, Mary. What percentage of
- 17:10Speaker 2: outdoorsmen said they're currently subscribed to an outdoor magazine? Are
- 17:17Speaker 2: you subscribed to any outdoor magazines?
- 17:19Speaker 1: I don't need to. My husband has a magazine collection
- 17:23Speaker 1: that is epic.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Really, what does he subscribe to?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Oh, all the hunting magazines.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Little cards that fall out of the magazines he just finds.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Can I say this, he's a magazine whore?
- 17:35Speaker 3: Okay, you did so, Mary.
- 17:41Speaker 2: What percentage of outdoorsmen said they're currently subscribed to an
- 17:46Speaker 2: outdoor magazine?
- 17:48Speaker 1: I'm going to say sixty five percent?
- 17:50Speaker 2: Sixty five percent? Everyone else, you have your paddles ready,
- 17:55Speaker 2: raise your paddle subscribed? Everybody is what are you going
- 18:00Speaker 2: with Logan? Everyone is saying lower, except for Logan is
- 18:03Speaker 2: saying higher. The correct answer is thirty eight percent. So
- 18:10Speaker 2: everybody except Logan got that one right. A twenty seventeen
- 18:14Speaker 2: study found that forty one percent of American adults are
- 18:18Speaker 2: subscribed to a newspaper or magazine, and a twenty twenty
- 18:21Speaker 2: three study found that there are now more magazines today
- 18:24Speaker 2: than ever before, despite readership being at an all time low.
- 18:28Speaker 3: H I want to get a cross draw bandlier for
- 18:31Speaker 3: these paddles. There you go, they sit like that dude
- 18:35Speaker 3: and bow the buster scrugs. Who wears his pistols real high?
- 18:39Speaker 2: Maybe maybe we should like have a gear company that
- 18:42Speaker 2: can make that kind of thing. Paddle holder for Steve.
- 18:45Speaker 2: One of the question four, This is for Michael. Michael, what
- 18:49Speaker 2: percentage about doorsman said they'd rather own a knife that
- 18:52Speaker 2: never dulls instead of waiters that never leak? Hmmm, So
- 18:58Speaker 2: you get two choices. You could either have a knife
- 19:00Speaker 2: that never dolls or waiters that never leak. What percentage
- 19:04Speaker 2: of outdoorsman said they'd rather own the knife instead of
- 19:07Speaker 2: the waiters? Which one would you pick?
- 19:10Speaker 3: Oh?
- 19:10Speaker 4: Come on, I go knife.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Listen, sharpen to knife. There's a lot quicker than past
- 19:18Speaker 3: your waiters.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Yeah, but I'm also thinking like how many people are
- 19:21Speaker 4: actually running waiters?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Right?
- 19:22Speaker 4: So of the six hundred, Well.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but you're not doing what you want. You're supposed
- 19:26Speaker 3: to be thinking about what they want. Yeah, yeah, but
- 19:29Speaker 3: what about the people they use? Waiters?
- 19:31Speaker 2: Yeah, six hundred listeners were surveyed for this, and they
- 19:35Speaker 2: were asked if they'd rather have the knife that never.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Dolls white tail hunters. Right, they're not using waiters, So
- 19:42Speaker 4: I'm gonna go sixty seven percent.
- 19:44Speaker 2: He's saying sixty seven percent would rather have the knife
- 19:47Speaker 2: that never dolls instead of the waiters that never leak.
- 19:51Speaker 2: It's everybody with their paddles. Ready, go ahead and raise
- 19:55Speaker 2: your paddles. We have Cody saying lower, Logan saying lower,
- 19:58Speaker 2: Keep saying higher, Steve saying lower, Brad saying higher, Claire
- 20:03Speaker 2: and Mary saying lower. The correct answer is sixty nine percent.
- 20:09Speaker 2: You were only two percent off. That is our best guess.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Yet I wasn't gonna say sixty nine I felt like
- 20:15Speaker 4: it wasn't appropriate, so I dull it down too.
- 20:19Speaker 2: For being within five points. Then you will get fifteen points.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Well done, Michael, Steve, you're still convinced that you'd rather
- 20:26Speaker 2: have the waiters than never leak though.
- 20:29Speaker 3: You're a beaver trapper though, Oh yeah, because I like
- 20:31Speaker 3: sharpening knives, I hate fixing waiters.
- 20:34Speaker 2: According to a twenty twenty three study, Americans are the
- 20:37Speaker 2: most obsessive about sharp knives. It found that the United
- 20:41Speaker 2: States has thirty five percent of the global knife sharpening market,
- 20:45Speaker 2: with the number expected to a rise in the coming years.
- 20:48Speaker 2: They said the key factors in America's knife sharpening interests
- 20:51Speaker 2: are the popularity of cooking shows and the increase of
- 20:54Speaker 2: preparing meals at home during the pandemic. So sixty nine
- 20:58Speaker 2: percent would rather have the knife never doles now. As
- 21:02Speaker 2: a reminder, Steve had noticed in the past that in
- 21:06Speaker 2: this game it seemed like an inverse the leader board
- 21:09Speaker 2: than a typical game of meat eater trivia. Right, because
- 21:12Speaker 2: Karin took a thorough victory the first time we played this.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Yep, she can't play trivia.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Well she can, but yeah, Krin's shaking her head. Not
- 21:23Speaker 2: as well, Phil, give us a leader board update.
- 21:30Speaker 3: All right.
- 21:30Speaker 8: We have got Logan and Claire with five points a piece.
- 21:35Speaker 8: Coming up next our Cody and Mary, who have ten.
- 21:39Speaker 8: We've got Steve and Brad with fifteen, Keith with twenty.
- 21:44Speaker 8: In first place is Michael. He's got thirty points.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Well done, Michael. We are up to Cody. Now, Cody,
- 22:02Speaker 2: what percentage of dog owners said their dog is actually
- 22:06Speaker 2: their best friend. Are you a dog owner?
- 22:09Speaker 3: I am? Yeah?
- 22:10Speaker 2: Okay? Is your dog your best friend?
- 22:12Speaker 3: Absolutely?
- 22:13Speaker 2: Okay? So what percentage of dog owners said their dog
- 22:17Speaker 2: is actually their best friend? Eighty seven? Eighty seven percent.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Every dog owner out there basically says their dog is
- 22:31Speaker 2: their best friend?
- 22:32Speaker 3: All right?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Is everybody else ready with their paddles? Raise your paddles,
- 22:37Speaker 2: we have lower. Lower, lower. Everybody says lower. Everybody was right.
- 22:41Speaker 2: The correct answer was forty seven percent.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Not looking good for dogs, forty.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Seven percent of dog owners said their dog is actually
- 22:51Speaker 2: their best friend. A twenty twenty two survey found that
- 22:54Speaker 2: sixty nine percent of people say their dog is their
- 22:56Speaker 2: best friend, meaning out doorsmen are less likely than the
- 22:59Speaker 2: average American to consider their dog their best friend.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Because there's a there's a thing you're measuring there, I mean,
- 23:07Speaker 3: because they're looking for performance in a specific pursuit. Keep
- 23:12Speaker 3: going well, Just the dog has more chances to fail
- 23:15Speaker 3: if the dog's only job is to hang around. If
- 23:17Speaker 3: the dog's job is to hang around the house, how
- 23:19Speaker 3: can it screw that up?
- 23:20Speaker 2: Interesting point, Steve, But it's still got to be their
- 23:22Speaker 2: best friend.
- 23:23Speaker 3: But you're gonna take it out. It's gonna piss you off,
- 23:25Speaker 3: You're gonna not like it anymore.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Maybe the dog or just home.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Okay, maybe he's not gonna piss anybody off.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Maybe the bond is stronger with outdoors. Apparently not, though
- 23:34Speaker 2: the survey shows that I'm just.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Going by it. I'm just now that I know the number,
- 23:37Speaker 3: I'm trying to think my way into it.
- 23:39Speaker 2: That same survey found that seventy two percent of Americans
- 23:42Speaker 2: say bringing home their dog was one of the best
- 23:44Speaker 2: days of their life, and that forty two percent of
- 23:47Speaker 2: Americans say their dog goes to the salon more than
- 23:50Speaker 2: they do. Who else is dog owner in here? Are
- 23:54Speaker 2: your dogs your best friends? Would you say if you
- 23:56Speaker 2: had to say yes or no?
- 23:57Speaker 7: But I think the way that that question was worded,
- 23:59Speaker 7: like if someone asked me, is your dog your best friend?
- 24:03Speaker 2: And then if they said, think about it, is.
- 24:05Speaker 7: Your dog really your best friend? I might start to
- 24:08Speaker 7: feel bad about it.
- 24:09Speaker 2: It was worded, is it actually your best friend?
- 24:12Speaker 3: Mary?
- 24:12Speaker 2: Michael? Is your dog your best friend?
- 24:16Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:17Speaker 4: But I think that people don't want to if they
- 24:19Speaker 4: don't have friends human friends.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Okay, Michael has found a much deeper level to the game.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I think if I owned your dog Michael, that'd be
- 24:28Speaker 2: my best friend as well, one of the best behave
- 24:30Speaker 2: pups rough to Logan, Logan, this is question six. What
- 24:35Speaker 2: percentage about doorsman said they'd rather eat a rare burger
- 24:39Speaker 2: instead of a well done burger? So they were given
- 24:43Speaker 2: two choices, would you rather eat a rare burger or
- 24:46Speaker 2: would you rather eat a well done burger? What percentage
- 24:48Speaker 2: about doorsman said they'd rather eat a rare burger instead
- 24:52Speaker 2: of a well done burger? Which one would you choose?
- 24:58Speaker 5: I was always taught that you need to be safe
- 25:01Speaker 5: with burger and like medium at at the least right,
- 25:05Speaker 5: make sure that anything on the insides.
- 25:07Speaker 7: Literally just had an argument about this.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Okay, this rival goes much deeper than I thought.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Sat you down.
- 25:16Speaker 6: I think I feel like it was showcounter burgers, Claire Logan.
- 25:23Speaker 2: What was the argument you two just had about.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Uncomfortable situations where friends are trying to get rare burgers.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Someone want you to remember just say no.
- 25:35Speaker 5: Someone may have felt that my Elk burgers were a
- 25:37Speaker 5: little overdone, okay? And was it?
- 25:41Speaker 4: Oh?
- 25:41Speaker 2: It was Claire, okay, And your response was what they
- 25:45Speaker 2: were perfect, just how you're supposed to go. Himan, what
- 25:50Speaker 2: percentage about doorsman said they'd rather eat a rare burger
- 25:54Speaker 2: instead of a well done burger.
- 25:55Speaker 5: I'm going to say fifty four percent rather rare burger
- 26:00Speaker 5: than the well.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Done fifty four percent. Are other players ready raizor paddles?
- 26:07Speaker 2: We have Keith saying hier, Steve saying higher, Brad saying lower,
- 26:11Speaker 2: Claire saying higher, Mary, and Michael and Cody saying lower.
- 26:17Speaker 2: The correct answer it's fifty six percent well done logan
- 26:22Speaker 2: only two points off. So everyone who said higher got
- 26:27Speaker 2: that one right. A twenty nineteen Yugov study found that
- 26:31Speaker 2: well done is the preferred way to eat burgers. Their
- 26:35Speaker 2: survey of twelve hundred Americans found that forty percent prefer
- 26:38Speaker 2: a well done burger, with twenty percent choosing medium well
- 26:42Speaker 2: and seventeen percent choosing medium. They also found that women
- 26:45Speaker 2: are about twenty percent more likely to order a well
- 26:48Speaker 2: done burger than men.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Did they do that?
- 26:51Speaker 2: Is that?
- 26:51Speaker 3: Does that have the political demographics like the state one does?
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah, so we talked about that before. With stake done
- 26:57Speaker 2: this it showed that Republicans are more likely to order
- 27:00Speaker 2: rare and Democrats are more likely to order well done
- 27:03Speaker 2: than vice versa. We are on to question seven. This
- 27:08Speaker 2: is for Keith and we will get a scoreboard update
- 27:11Speaker 2: after this. Keith, what percentage of anglers said they think
- 27:15Speaker 2: they're a better angler than the average angler?
- 27:20Speaker 7: And just another.
- 27:24Speaker 2: So, what percentage of anglers said they think they're a
- 27:27Speaker 2: better angler than the average angler? And the question to
- 27:30Speaker 2: be clear, it said, do you think you're a better
- 27:32Speaker 2: angler than the average angler? So what percentage of them said?
- 27:36Speaker 3: Yes?
- 27:37Speaker 2: You gotta vote with the angler on this one. I
- 27:39Speaker 2: think I'm thinking like seventy two percent think they're better
- 27:42Speaker 2: than most anglers.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Seventy two percent of anglers as them, do you identify
- 27:46Speaker 3: as an angler?
- 27:47Speaker 2: Yes, it's for anglers only. And then it says, do
- 27:50Speaker 2: you think you're a better angler than the average angler?
- 27:53Speaker 2: And Keith, what was your answer? Sev seventy two percent?
- 27:57Speaker 2: Is everybody else ready go ahead and raise your panels.
- 28:01Speaker 2: We have Stee saying lower, Brad saying higher, Claire, Mary
- 28:05Speaker 2: and Michael saying lower, Cody and Logan saying lower as well.
- 28:10Speaker 2: The correct answer was forty two percent, So everyone who
- 28:14Speaker 2: said lower got that one right. Show that that was
- 28:18Speaker 2: a pretty honest group. Only forty two percent of them
- 28:20Speaker 2: thought they were a better angler than the average angler.
- 28:23Speaker 6: Must have been a different group from my questions, right, Yeah, dude,
- 28:27Speaker 6: I'm definitely better than the average.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Now what twenty eighteen study asked three thousand Americans if
- 28:33Speaker 2: they think they're smarter than the average American. They found
- 28:36Speaker 2: that sixty five percent of people think they're smarter than average,
- 28:41Speaker 2: with men more likely than women to have that belief.
- 28:44Speaker 2: The researchers concluded that quote the tendency to overrate one's
- 28:48Speaker 2: abilities may be a staple feature of human psychology. That's right,
- 28:55Speaker 2: So six sixty five percent of people think they're smarter
- 29:00Speaker 2: than the average person.
- 29:02Speaker 5: They should come on and play med Eater trivia real quick.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Phil, give us a scoreboard update. We have one question left,
- 29:09Speaker 2: which will be for Steve, and then we get to
- 29:11Speaker 2: the bonus round.
- 29:12Speaker 8: Sure thanking, Cody has fifteen points, Brad, Claire and Mary
- 29:16Speaker 8: I'll have twenty points, apiece, Logan, Keith and Steve have
- 29:20Speaker 8: thirty points, and in first place is Michael. He's got
- 29:22Speaker 8: forty points. Now Michael and first Steve.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Here's your chance to pick up some ground. What percentage
- 29:30Speaker 2: of hunters said they'd rather have a bull elk tag
- 29:33Speaker 2: for Yellowstone National Park? Instead of ten thousand dollars. So
- 29:39Speaker 2: they were given the choice for those two things, said,
- 29:42Speaker 2: you can either have a bull Elk tag for Yellowstone
- 29:45Speaker 2: or ten thousand dollars. What percentage of those hunters said
- 29:49Speaker 2: they'd rather have that bull Elk tag.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Well, we need these boards, do you you will?
- 29:58Speaker 2: For the next question, unprepared to Steve, which one of
- 30:02Speaker 2: those would you choose? The bull out tag for Yellowstone
- 30:04Speaker 2: or the ten thousand dollars.
- 30:13Speaker 3: I would really want the bulltag, but symbolically because I
- 30:16Speaker 3: just don't like national parks because you can't hunt them.
- 30:21Speaker 3: So I think there should be like very limited hunting
- 30:24Speaker 3: like the Yellowstone supertag. Sure, so for that symbolic victory,
- 30:30Speaker 3: I would want to do it. I think what most
- 30:31Speaker 3: people would think, because I don't think most people would
- 30:33Speaker 3: pay ten grand to go Elk hunt.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Well, you're not getting paid that amount.
- 30:37Speaker 3: You either choose would pay for sure, And when you're
- 30:40Speaker 3: essentially doing that, you're taking the option to have ten grand,
- 30:44Speaker 3: you're like basically handing the ten grand over. But I'm
- 30:47Speaker 3: still gonna say eighty eighty seventy.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Now, what happened there was Steve said eighty I think
- 30:55Speaker 2: we had Michael, who could and then see immediately lowered it.
- 31:01Speaker 3: You could go with my original.
- 31:02Speaker 2: No, no, whatever you like. Does anyone else want to
- 31:05Speaker 2: try to change Steve's answers?
- 31:07Speaker 3: No? I didn't change it because of that, just saying it,
- 31:09Speaker 3: saying it, maybe think about it.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Okay, So Steve is saying seventy per seventy seventy percent.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Has everybody ready raise your paddles? We have brand saying lower, lower, lower, lower.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Everybody says lower except for Keith. Keith says higher. The
- 31:24Speaker 2: correct answer was fifty eight percent, So everybody except for
- 31:30Speaker 2: Keith got that one right.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Does that? Do you mean you good on getting points? No?
- 31:33Speaker 2: You gotta be within ten. Oh, it's not good enough.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Elk get poached in Yellowstone more than you'd think. I
- 31:40Speaker 2: found seven cases of elk poaching in park boundaries since
- 31:43Speaker 2: nineteen eighty seven. All but one of those cases was solved,
- 31:46Speaker 2: with the other six ending with fines, restitution fees, and
- 31:49Speaker 2: jail time. The biggest fine was given to two men
- 31:52Speaker 2: from Arkansas and Alabama who filmed themselves calling in bowls
- 31:56Speaker 2: and Yellowstone and killing them with their bow. They were
- 31:59Speaker 2: each fined fifteen thousand dollars and sentenced to eighteen months
- 32:03Speaker 2: in jail.
- 32:03Speaker 3: But here's how don't listen, man, here's the deal. I
- 32:07Speaker 3: would have you go find out how many of those
- 32:11Speaker 3: were within a couple hundred yards of ill defined boys.
- 32:14Speaker 2: A few of them were, and then other ones. You'd
- 32:16Speaker 2: be surprised right off a main road in Deep and
- 32:19Speaker 2: Yellowstone got it.
- 32:21Speaker 3: Because that's a I'm not saying they're I mean they're wrong,
- 32:24Speaker 3: like you need to write your responsibility. It's as wrong
- 32:27Speaker 3: as anything understanding you can be in places where you
- 32:30Speaker 3: can be in you can lose touch of the sure boundary.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Fifty eight percent would rather have that bull out tag Phil.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Can you give us one more scoreboard update before we
- 32:40Speaker 2: do the bonus round.
- 32:41Speaker 8: Yeah, we've got Cody with twenty, Keith and Steve have thirty.
- 32:46Speaker 8: Oh sorry I skipped. I'm going out out of order here.
- 32:48Speaker 8: Sorry guys, Brad, Claire and Mary, I'll have twenty five
- 32:50Speaker 8: points a piece, Logan has thirty five, Michael still in
- 32:53Speaker 8: first with forty five.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Now now question nine are bonus question. There's a lot
- 32:57Speaker 2: of opportunity to pick up ground here, so you could
- 33:00Speaker 2: go from last place to first place real quick. You'll
- 33:03Speaker 2: need you will need your whiteboards and your markers for
- 33:06Speaker 2: this one. Here's how the bonus round works. I asked
- 33:09Speaker 2: six hundred hunters for them to rank these states in
- 33:13Speaker 2: order of who has the best deer hunters to the
- 33:16Speaker 2: worst deer hunters. You need to place them. I asked
- 33:19Speaker 2: them to rank these from best deer hunters to worst
- 33:22Speaker 2: deer hunters these different states, so we'll get there. You
- 33:25Speaker 2: need to place these in the correct order. For every
- 33:27Speaker 2: one of these you get right, you'll receive five points.
- 33:30Speaker 2: That means the final round is worth twenty five points.
- 33:33Speaker 2: So you need to rank these states in order of
- 33:35Speaker 2: who hunters said have the best deer hunters to the
- 33:39Speaker 2: worst deer hunters. Here are your five states, Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin, Missouri, Michigan.
- 33:47Speaker 2: And I chose these five states because these are the
- 33:50Speaker 2: five states that harvest the most deer in America. So
- 33:54Speaker 2: our six hundred people surveyed were asked to rank these
- 33:57Speaker 2: in order of who has the best deer hunters to
- 34:00Speaker 2: who has the worst deer hunters. The five states again
- 34:03Speaker 2: are Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Michigan. For every one
- 34:11Speaker 2: of these you get right, you'll get five points. Five
- 34:16Speaker 2: states that kill the most deer in America, Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin, Missouri,
- 34:24Speaker 2: and Michigan. Steve, how do you feel about your answer?
- 34:26Speaker 2: I think you're the first thing.
- 34:30Speaker 3: To be frank.
- 34:33Speaker 2: This was from that same survey of six hundred meat
- 34:37Speaker 2: eater listeners. Is everybody ready? Brad good? Yeah, I just
- 34:49Speaker 2: had to Okay, Logan yep, Cody, We good, Michael, everyone's ready.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Brad saying
- 34:58Speaker 2: one Wisconsin, two, Missouri, three, Pennsylvania, four, Michigan, five, Texas.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Claire saying Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Missis, Missouri, Texas, Mary saying
- 35:13Speaker 2: one Wisconsin, two, Texas, three, Michigan, four, Missouri, five, Pennsylvania.
- 35:21Speaker 3: Anyone outside of Texas is going to put Texas as five, Michael, anybody?
- 35:28Speaker 2: Michael saying Wisconsin, one, Missouri, two, Pennsylvania, three, Michigan, four,
- 35:36Speaker 2: Texas five. Cody saying one Wisconsin, two, Pennsylvania, three, Texas, four, Missouri, five, Michigan.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Logan sang Missouri, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Texas, Keith saying Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Steve who declared he's going to do well on this,
- 36:00Speaker 2: he says, Missouri one, Pennsylvania two, Wisconsin three, Michigan four,
- 36:06Speaker 2: Texas five. Now, Steve, say again what you're saying about Texas.
- 36:10Speaker 3: Did anyone you called who's not in Texas is going
- 36:13Speaker 3: to put Texas as number five?
- 36:15Speaker 2: Here are the answers number one, Wisconsin number two, Michigan
- 36:22Speaker 2: number three, Pennsylvania number four, Missouri number five Texas. We're
- 36:29Speaker 2: gonna give Phil a second to update the leader board.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Wisconsin was overwhelmingly voted the state with the best deer hunters,
- 36:37Speaker 2: while Texas was overwhelmingly voted the state with the worst
- 36:41Speaker 2: deer hunters. Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Missouri were all in a
- 36:44Speaker 2: close race for second. Here's some interesting takeaways. Texas received
- 36:48Speaker 2: more last place votes than the other four states combined.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Wisconsin received thirty five percent of all first place votes,
- 36:56Speaker 2: and Pennsylvania was the most polarizing state with it recis
- 37:00Speaker 2: e being the second most first place votes and the
- 37:02Speaker 2: second most last place votes. Does that check out? Steve?
- 37:06Speaker 3: Well, just goes to show that was on everything.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Okay, that's right. That is Steve's takeaway. Phil, give us
- 37:14Speaker 2: our final scoreboard update.
- 37:16Speaker 8: Surely, Well, we've got Cody, Keith and Steve all with
- 37:20Speaker 8: thirty points, Mary has thirty five, Brad and Clair have forty,
- 37:25Speaker 8: Logan has forty five, and in first place, he's got
- 37:27Speaker 8: sixty points victory from.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Michael Man just so fall victory.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Let's get Michael a microphone over here. Mike, Uh, how
- 37:40Speaker 2: do you know so much about your fellow hunters and Anglers?
- 37:45Speaker 4: I don't know. It just kind of went like a
- 37:46Speaker 4: bit more logical, I think, well.
- 37:48Speaker 2: A bit more logical than the other seven players.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Yea, yeah, arguably.
- 37:52Speaker 4: I mean, you know, these Michiganers, you know, the mistake
- 37:55Speaker 4: across the lake, as we refer to him from Wisconsin. Yeah,
- 37:58Speaker 4: you know, they think they're they're good.
- 38:00Speaker 5: You didn't pull people outside of seers in Kenosha?
- 38:05Speaker 4: Did you thought that was a red herring? I thought
- 38:07Speaker 4: it actually was people in Kenosha?
- 38:08Speaker 2: So, Michael, did you put Wisconsin?
- 38:10Speaker 3: Is one? Sure?
- 38:11Speaker 2: Did? Where did you put Michigan? At number four? Okay?
- 38:14Speaker 2: Number four? He wasn't going with logic there. He just
- 38:16Speaker 2: wanted to insult the Michiganders in the room with that one.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Well, I don't know, I kind of want you know,
- 38:21Speaker 4: that was a tough one because I almost to get
- 38:23Speaker 4: it done. Arguably, in Michigan, I feel like would be
- 38:25Speaker 4: a lot more difficult to harvest the deer, to be honest,
- 38:29Speaker 4: because of the hunter percentage. But then you know, Pennsylvania people,
- 38:34Speaker 4: they you know, they really think highly of themselves. And
- 38:36Speaker 4: I like thought, all right, how many people in Pennsylvania
- 38:39Speaker 4: were on the survey, But then I really got worried
- 38:41Speaker 4: if it was more people in Texas on the survey, right,
- 38:44Speaker 4: because it's like, at to Steve's point, you put them
- 38:47Speaker 4: at put themselves at number one.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:48Speaker 6: I feel like some of the Texas people, if you
- 38:50Speaker 6: get them anonymously, they'll admit, like, we're probably gonna be
- 38:53Speaker 6: low on this.
- 38:54Speaker 4: No way, there's no way a Texas personally really well,
- 38:59Speaker 4: there is a feeder.
- 39:00Speaker 3: You know. I went high in Missouri because they're killing
- 39:03Speaker 3: out the stomp or bucks in Missouri. So I feel
- 39:05Speaker 3: like people are seeing these big bucks out of Missouri
- 39:08Speaker 3: is not Texas, Yeah, And I don't think so they're
- 39:10Speaker 3: thinking that they must be super good at hunting.
- 39:12Speaker 2: I don't think Missouri gets people worked up about.
- 39:14Speaker 4: Yeah, but Wisconsin is putting the most booners on the wall,
- 39:17Speaker 4: you know, and you're Missouri it is. Yeah, oh yeah,
- 39:20Speaker 4: on the top. Yeah, the number one young and and
- 39:23Speaker 4: you're always reading about it with all the people with
- 39:24Speaker 4: uh you know, magazine subscriptions.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Keep rubbing it in. Michael. There you go, take well earned,
- 39:31Speaker 2: I know, Michael. What happens to next is you get
- 39:33Speaker 2: to choose with a five hundred dollars donation from me
- 39:35Speaker 2: de to goes. So what's it gonna be?
- 39:40Speaker 4: Step pheasants forever?
- 39:42Speaker 2: Pheasants forever? What do we like about them? With your
- 39:44Speaker 2: bird dog? Is that because your best friend is sitting
- 39:46Speaker 2: about six inches away?
- 39:48Speaker 4: Yeah exactly, Okay, yeah, no, I just think that they do,
- 39:55Speaker 4: you know, really a lot of good programs, uh, kind
- 39:58Speaker 4: of from coast to coast, and arguably you know, they
- 40:01Speaker 4: cover a lot of the more upland species and just pheasants.
- 40:04Speaker 4: You know, I think that they're mislabeled.
- 40:06Speaker 2: But uh yeah, five hundred dollars going their way. And
- 40:09Speaker 2: now the the Logan and Claire rivalry has another chapter
- 40:14Speaker 2: in it. Uh, Claire won the last game, Logan wins
- 40:16Speaker 2: this one.
- 40:17Speaker 7: So you guys are all that I don't I don't
- 40:20Speaker 7: really like it.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Doesn't like this formatic game. You're right, that was that
- 40:24Speaker 2: was established up front. You got that one to be fair, Steve,
- 40:28Speaker 2: I like the golf idea, that's what we're gonna do,
- 40:34Speaker 2: gonna happen.
- 40:35Speaker 3: It's gonna take a game so far as unpopular and
- 40:37Speaker 3: shoot as popularity.
- 40:39Speaker 2: That's that is what's gonna happen next time.
- 40:41Speaker 7: Were connecting it to.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Golf, No, just shooting for a low score.
- 40:45Speaker 6: Well, because then you're guessing a percentage every.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Time, every time you'll get a chance.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Because it's kind of chicken ship to be waving these paddles, right,
- 40:53Speaker 3: you know what I mean. Yeah, it's like you're not
- 40:54Speaker 3: really getting in there and exposing yourself.
- 40:57Speaker 6: And then I feel like there are a few times
- 40:59Speaker 6: when we're like, you know, someone's right near the number
- 41:03Speaker 6: and like, gosh, you just want to guess it with them.
- 41:05Speaker 3: You know, we're.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Gonna do a different next time. Thank you for having
- 41:09Speaker 2: us at the Haley store coming out. Appreciate it. We're
- 41:13Speaker 2: gonna do someun annual basis I think, come over here
- 41:15Speaker 2: and have Steve lose it trivia. And then everyone cheers
- 41:18Speaker 2: for Keith like a real, a real hearty cheer when
- 41:22Speaker 2: it was declared that Keith got second.
- 41:25Speaker 7: I'll take solver any day.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Well, people that would like to see me lose bad
- 41:30Speaker 3: should love the paddle game. And there we go.
