- 0:25Speaker 2: I think I have a segment here that will offer
- 0:29Speaker 2: a very revealing insight into how leftists think. Let me
- 0:37Speaker 2: set it up for a second. One of the things
- 0:40Speaker 2: that I've commented on is just the number of issues
- 0:43Speaker 2: at which liberals have created totally new positions to adopt
- 0:48Speaker 2: that they never held even a few years ago. Some
- 0:52Speaker 2: it was a gradual change. It used to be that
- 0:55Speaker 2: the party that was most opposed to illegal immigration was
- 0:58Speaker 2: the Democrats because the unions were threatened by cheap labor
- 1:02Speaker 2: coming in to steal away good paying unionized jobs. And
- 1:06Speaker 2: it was Republicans that kind of looked the other way
- 1:08Speaker 2: because a lot of businesses were happy to get this
- 1:11Speaker 2: cheap labor. That's an issue that they've clearly shifted on.
- 1:15Speaker 2: But look at how they've abandoned women's rights and instead
- 1:19Speaker 2: embraced whatever trans rights are, allowing men to compete against
- 1:24Speaker 2: women in sports and so on. That's a rather brand
- 1:28Speaker 2: new position for them to take. In the meantime, Trump
- 1:31Speaker 2: has moved to the middle and any number of issues
- 1:33Speaker 2: and has adopted positions that used to be, if anything, liberal,
- 1:36Speaker 2: in particular his strong belief in negotiation as opposed to
- 1:41Speaker 2: the use of military force and so on. It makes
- 1:47Speaker 2: you wonder what's going on in the leftist mind. And
- 1:52Speaker 2: I think I have some insight here for them identity
- 1:57Speaker 2: And this part's not new. We all know that they've
- 2:00Speaker 2: been consumed by identity politics. White people are terrible, men
- 2:06Speaker 2: are terrible, toxic, masculinity, white privilege, all of this stuff.
- 2:09Speaker 2: They are consumed by identity over two other eye words
- 2:14Speaker 2: issues in ideology, the identity, the who they are, not
- 2:23Speaker 2: what they think, but who your background, your racial identity,
- 2:27Speaker 2: how you identify in terms of your gender and your
- 2:29Speaker 2: sexual identity. All of that, all of it Trump's issues
- 2:36Speaker 2: and ideology. Let's go back to the Kamala Harris campaign.
- 2:42Speaker 2: You know, before she lost to Trump, liberals were very
- 2:45Speaker 2: confident she was going to win. Remember all the statements
- 2:48Speaker 2: that are made. One of the greatest campaigns in presidential history.
- 2:53Speaker 2: I remember watching the battle axes on the view in
- 2:55Speaker 2: a clip clip was played by every conservative podcast through
- 2:59Speaker 2: out there because after the fact that just showed how
- 3:00Speaker 2: stupid these people were, and they were bragging about how
- 3:04Speaker 2: incredible Kamala's campaign was. In one of the commenters said,
- 3:07Speaker 2: one of the women of the view said, maybe it
- 3:10Speaker 2: was on MSNBC. She even got Queen Latifa to endorse her.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Queen Latifa never endorses is if that meant something? Or
- 3:21Speaker 2: the fact that she paid Beyonce for an endorsement, Well,
- 3:26Speaker 2: Beyonce is someone that African Americans identify with, that women
- 3:30Speaker 2: identify with. All of this is the identity her own
- 3:34Speaker 2: obsession with creating this fake backstory of her life. I
- 3:37Speaker 2: worked at McDonald's, I struggled on the streets, and then
- 3:41Speaker 2: claiming every racial identity that she can come up with,
- 3:44Speaker 2: all of an identity, identity, identity, and her statement recently,
- 3:49Speaker 2: I'm the most qualified kennedyate ever to run for president.
- 3:52Speaker 2: And she based this on simply the jobs that she had,
- 3:55Speaker 2: not anything that she did in any of those jobs.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Y is what drives them, Which brings me to this
- 4:03Speaker 2: example that I want to share here to open up
- 4:10Speaker 2: the podcast, and I'll tease it before I give you
- 4:15Speaker 2: a little euline information here in the following way. It's
- 4:19Speaker 2: an old joke about a guy who falls out of
- 4:22Speaker 2: the upper deck in a football stadium and lands in
- 4:24Speaker 2: the end zone and thinks he's scored a touchdown because
- 4:26Speaker 2: he's in the end zone. The point of the joke
- 4:30Speaker 2: is that someone, because they got something, thought that they
- 4:37Speaker 2: did something to deserve it, or that they were special
- 4:39Speaker 2: simply because they got that. There's been zillions of other
- 4:44Speaker 2: examples of it. Anyway, I'll come up with my specific
- 4:47Speaker 2: case that I want to talk about, which is kind
- 4:49Speaker 2: of hilarious in addition to be revealing in just a
- 4:52Speaker 2: moment here. When it comes to shipping packaging, industrial supplies
- 4:55Speaker 2: and equipment, many suppliers offer endlessiles of product. Line knows
- 5:00Speaker 2: what you can't do with endlessiles of product. Test the
- 5:03Speaker 2: quality of each product and sure everything is in socket

- 5:08Speaker 2: available twenty four to seven to answer your product questions.

- 5:15Speaker 2: pride and often use in their own business. Experience the
- 5:19Speaker 2: you Line difference today. Visit you line dot com. KJP
- 5:27Speaker 2: Carrine Jean Pierre. She's written a book, so she's out
- 5:32Speaker 2: there on a book tour. The downside for her is
- 5:35Speaker 2: if you write a book and you want to publicize
- 5:36Speaker 2: the book, you have to go and do interviews that
- 5:38Speaker 2: if we've learned anything. The one thing in life that
- 5:41Speaker 2: she's terrible at is answering questions, which means she was
- 5:45Speaker 2: really ill suited to have a position of answering questions. Now,
- 5:50Speaker 2: I think KJP has to be given cut some slack,
- 5:55Speaker 2: only because she was being asked to defend the indefense
- 5:59Speaker 2: of everything under Biden was a disaster and Biden was
- 6:05Speaker 2: breaking down mentally and everyone knew it, and she had
- 6:08Speaker 2: to get up there and lie and say that it
- 6:10Speaker 2: wasn't Inflation exploded out of control, and she somehow had
- 6:14Speaker 2: to be claiming that this wasn't a bad thing. Twenty
- 6:17Speaker 2: million people were crossing the border illegally, war was breaking
- 6:22Speaker 2: out all over the world. Everything was going to hell.
- 6:31Speaker 2: It'd be hard for somebody who was good at it
- 6:33Speaker 2: to defend this, much less her, and she was terrible.
- 6:40Speaker 2: So in her attempt to salvage her image, she came
- 6:43Speaker 2: out after the election and said, I'm not a Democrat anymore.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I'm just gonna describe myself as an independent. And now
- 6:48Speaker 2: she's written this book and she's of course doing interviews,
- 6:52Speaker 2: and they're only on the friendliest possible sources. I mean,
- 6:57Speaker 2: she just bopping from one MSNBC show to another, and
- 7:00Speaker 2: then a CNN show and then going over to really
- 7:03Speaker 2: really lefty podcasts, but even there they have to ask
- 7:07Speaker 2: her something. Now the following cut and I want you
- 7:13Speaker 2: to listen to it closely, because I say, you just
- 7:15Speaker 2: get I think, an insight into leftism. This is on
- 7:19Speaker 2: MSNBC where the coach, the host rather throws her a
- 7:25Speaker 2: softball on the way she handled her job. It's not
- 7:30Speaker 2: just that she ducked the question, it's what she said.
- 7:34Speaker 2: So I want you to listen to this closely.
- 7:36Speaker 3: I'm look, it's a simple no, no, no, because you're
- 7:42Speaker 3: asking for a yes or no question.
- 7:44Speaker 4: I want to put some context to it too.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I woke up every day. I woke up every day
- 7:49Speaker 3: very proud to be the White House pre Secretary.
- 7:52Speaker 5: I woke up every.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Day as a as a black woman who is queer,
- 7:58Speaker 3: who had never no one had ever i've seen someone
- 8:00Speaker 3: like me at that podium, standing behind that lectern. It
- 8:03Speaker 3: was an honor and a privilege to have that job,
- 8:06Speaker 3: and I did it to the best of my abilities.
- 8:10Speaker 2: That's her answer.
- 8:10Speaker 4: No.
- 8:11Speaker 2: What he asked her is is there anything you would
- 8:12Speaker 2: have said differently? And her response is it's the same
- 8:19Speaker 2: answer she's giving constantly. It's the same statement always, I'm
- 8:24Speaker 2: black and queer. I'm black and queer. She can't stop
- 8:28Speaker 2: saying that sentence. And nobody's ever seen anyone like me
- 8:33Speaker 2: in that job. Nobody's ever seen anyone who's black. No
- 8:35Speaker 2: one has ever seen anyone who's queer. If you're wondering
- 8:38Speaker 2: what the identification of queer is, that's one of those
- 8:41Speaker 2: terms that went from being a slur to something that
- 8:42Speaker 2: has been embraced by people who have an alternate sexual identity.
- 8:50Speaker 2: The one that she's describing she has and she self
- 8:53Speaker 2: identifies as queer, and she uses that word constantly. But
- 8:58Speaker 2: did you see her answer? None of this? Could you
- 9:01Speaker 2: have done a better job? Said, I got that job.
- 9:03Speaker 2: That was not how you did it. And I got
- 9:06Speaker 2: that job. She's the person who fell out of the
- 9:08Speaker 2: end zone, fell out of the upper deck and landed
- 9:10Speaker 2: in the end zone and thinking she scored a touchdown
- 9:13Speaker 2: just because she got there. The how well she did
- 9:16Speaker 2: is not doesn't matter. She's saying she is a success
- 9:20Speaker 2: because she was seen doing this, even if she was
- 9:23Speaker 2: utterly incompetent at it. You see therefore in that answer,
- 9:28Speaker 2: the way she expresses herself that what matters is her identity.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I am black and I am queer, and I was
- 9:35Speaker 2: the White House Press secretary, which, when you think about it,
- 9:38Speaker 2: is the reason she got that job. People have raised
- 9:40Speaker 2: this question, and you'll hear in a segment here reference
- 9:43Speaker 2: to it. John Kirby was the other guy who did
- 9:45Speaker 2: the White House press briefings, white guy. He was better
- 9:49Speaker 2: at it than her. But Joe Biden didn't want a
- 9:52Speaker 2: boring white guy, and Democrats don't want a boring white
- 9:54Speaker 2: guy out there. They wanted somebody with her frizzy, curly
- 9:58Speaker 2: hair and all of different identities. As she keeps obsessively saying,
- 10:03Speaker 2: she won't shut up as I'm black and queer, I'm
- 10:05Speaker 2: black and queer, I'm black and queer, again and again
- 10:08Speaker 2: and again. Pus said, what does that matter? But that's
- 10:10Speaker 2: my point. It is all that matters to them, just
- 10:13Speaker 2: as from Kamally Harris's perspective, So what if Beyonce doesn't saying,
- 10:19Speaker 2: so what if I have to pay somebody to endorse me?
- 10:22Speaker 2: I have her endorsement. I'm the first to do this.
- 10:28Speaker 2: I'm the first to do that. Nowhere in any of
- 10:32Speaker 2: that equation does what you think, or what you do,
- 10:37Speaker 2: or whether you were successful coming and play to it.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Now here's the next cut. She gave that answer, and
- 10:48Speaker 2: other leftists are very, very uncomfortable trying to defend it.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Let's go over to another network, Jake Tappers on CNN,
- 10:58Speaker 2: and they've got one of their Tolkien conservatives on the panel.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Her name is Katy Miller. She's a podcaster, and Katie Miller,
- 11:07Speaker 2: of course, is mocking the idiotic answer that Kamala Herris Gabe.
- 11:12Speaker 2: And you're going to hear in this cut, the back
- 11:14Speaker 2: and forth in which Jake Tapper his best defensive her is, well,
- 11:19Speaker 2: before she got that job, she didn't seem like an idiot.
- 11:22Speaker 2: He doesn't even deny that she's an idiot. But I
- 11:24Speaker 2: want you to listen through and listen to what happens
- 11:26Speaker 2: after Katie Miller responds to Jake Tapper.
- 11:30Speaker 6: What I think you're seeing and what Karen is attesting
- 11:33Speaker 6: to is that she is quite incompetent to do the
- 11:35Speaker 6: job right. This is what Republicans have been saying for
- 11:38Speaker 6: years now. Is that she is just another evidence that
- 11:40Speaker 6: DEI doesn't work. Whether that's in the White House in
- 11:43Speaker 6: your press secretary role, or whether that's a you know,
- 11:46Speaker 6: an air traffic controller, an air pilot, whether that's your doctor.
- 11:49Speaker 6: You know, you want to hire the best for the role,
- 11:52Speaker 6: not just based on skin color. Jake, why did she
- 11:54Speaker 6: get the job over John Kirby. She used to be
- 11:57Speaker 6: a commentator on CNN, then two was one on MSNBC,
- 12:01Speaker 6: and she was.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Good at that.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Like I mean, I'm without getting into the job.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I thought she did as Press secretary.
- 12:06Speaker 6: I thought it didn't seem crazy to me because she
- 12:10Speaker 6: was eloquent as a as a commentator. Why she trained
- 12:13Speaker 6: every four sentences to say she is a black, queer
- 12:16Speaker 6: LGBTQ woman, because that's how she's been promoted her entire career. Anyway,
- 12:21Speaker 6: Katie Miller and Karen Finny, thank you so much.
- 12:24Speaker 2: That interview was then ended. He moved on prematurely because
- 12:29Speaker 2: Tamper was so uncomfortable when Katie Miller said, why does
- 12:34Speaker 2: KJP always say every four sentences she's black, queer, lgbt
- 12:41Speaker 2: LGBTQ plus Tamper was very uncomfortable with the term queer
- 12:48Speaker 2: coming out of Katie Millard's mouth, even though it's the
- 12:51Speaker 2: term the KJP uses herself. Paul said, in one of
- 12:56Speaker 2: my references, I said Kamally Harrison, not Karine Jean Pierre.
- 12:59Speaker 2: So if I did that, all of the someone talking
- 13:00Speaker 2: about KJP anyway. So Jake Tapper himself is very, very
- 13:07Speaker 2: uncomfortable with somebody who isn't self identifying as queer using
- 13:12Speaker 2: that term, even though all she was doing is drawing
- 13:15Speaker 2: attention to the fact that KJP herself will not shut
- 13:19Speaker 2: up about it. And the point that Katy Miller was
- 13:21Speaker 2: making is this is what DEI is, identity over any accomplishment.
- 13:28Speaker 2: She was the ultimate DEI higher, not because she was
- 13:30Speaker 2: going to be any good at her job, because she
- 13:32Speaker 2: was all of these things. It's the same thing that
- 13:35Speaker 2: led to all of these incompetent leftist hacks being named
- 13:37Speaker 2: president of Ivy League universities. It's all over. So I
- 13:44Speaker 2: think you see in this illustration how people on the
- 13:48Speaker 2: left are only concerned with identity in terms of issues.
- 13:54Speaker 2: They don't know where they stand, which is why they
- 13:55Speaker 2: will change on a dime when their leadership tells them to.
- 14:00Speaker 2: None of them are socialists until they decided they were socialists,
- 14:03Speaker 2: and then they're all socialists. They used to all hate
- 14:08Speaker 2: anti Semitism until they became anti semitic, and now they're
- 14:11Speaker 2: all anti semitic. The issue doesn't matter. They don't know
- 14:15Speaker 2: what to do on anything because nothing they ever do works,
- 14:19Speaker 2: so they don't know what to think. They do what
- 14:21Speaker 2: they're told and focus merely then on identification, which is
- 14:25Speaker 2: why the things that trip their trigger is when they
- 14:28Speaker 2: get to rip an identification that they don't embrace, like masculinity,
- 14:32Speaker 2: toxic masculinity, white privilege. We don't even know what those
- 14:36Speaker 2: terms mean, but we do know is they're saying we're not.
- 14:40Speaker 2: That identity is to them the be all and the
- 14:45Speaker 2: end all. I want to move to a local story.
- 14:50Speaker 2: There is now national backlash being directed against a school
- 14:55Speaker 2: in the Milwaukee area. Here's the backstory. Heard me reference
- 15:00Speaker 2: it a couple of times on past podcasts and all demand.
- 15:05Speaker 2: In the city of Wauka Shaw, Rico Camacho posted a
- 15:09Speaker 2: weekend and a half ago, now about two weekends ago,
- 15:12Speaker 2: that there was an ice raid underway in downtown Waka
- 15:15Speaker 2: Shaw and freaked out all sorts of people. There wasn't
- 15:21Speaker 2: an ice raid. Don't walk a Shaw. There. Ice wasn't
- 15:25Speaker 2: in downtown walker Shaw. The whole thing was wraw. What
- 15:30Speaker 2: was going on is a private security company was having
- 15:33Speaker 2: a drill and some people saw this privates and they're
- 15:41Speaker 2: probably wearing security company unions, and somehow in their goofed
- 15:44Speaker 2: up mindsn this is Ice didn't even do with immigration
- 15:49Speaker 2: or anything. It was simply a drill that of privates.
- 15:51Speaker 2: And I don't know if they were, you know, drilling
- 15:53Speaker 2: on what to do in a terror or whatever it was,
- 15:55Speaker 2: but they're just doing a drill. That's all it was.
- 15:57Speaker 2: In this idiot Camacho goes on social media it says
- 15:59Speaker 2: there's an ice raid underway in downtown Waukeshaw. He apologized
- 16:06Speaker 2: for putting out his misinformation, but he also got fired
- 16:10Speaker 2: from his full time job, which is he was a teacher,
- 16:13Speaker 2: just hired in August at Waukeshaw Catholic Memorial. They haven't
- 16:18Speaker 2: said why he was fired, but they've implied that he
- 16:21Speaker 2: violated their social media policy, which numerous employers have. We
- 16:26Speaker 2: have one here. There's any number of things that if
- 16:29Speaker 2: I said on social media can get me canned. Anyway.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Since this has occurred, there's now a national backlash. It
- 16:37Speaker 2: started with the lawyer for the butcher of Shadey Robinson,
- 16:44Speaker 2: Anthony Cotton, started raising a stake. So he's now moved
- 16:50Speaker 2: from defending somebody who sliced up an African American woman
- 16:54Speaker 2: to defending a person who tried to panic the community
- 16:58Speaker 2: that there was an ice raid going on. Cotton said
- 17:03Speaker 2: that this is terrible that Camacho got fired. Okayme made
- 17:07Speaker 2: a mistake and he shouldn't Nobo, you shouldn't get fired
- 17:09Speaker 2: for this. In the meantime, move on dot org, big
- 17:12Speaker 2: time national leftist organization, has a nationwide petition. It's all
- 17:16Speaker 2: of our social media demanding the Catholic Memorial be targeted.
- 17:20Speaker 2: They want to target the donors to Catholic Memorial and
- 17:24Speaker 2: demand a boycott of donations until Catholic Memorial reverses this decision.
- 17:30Speaker 2: All right, A lot to unpack here, regardless of whether
- 17:35Speaker 2: or not what Camancho said was a fireable offense from
- 17:39Speaker 2: his teaching position. I've said on my show and now
- 17:46Speaker 2: my podcast a zillion times. I'm just telling you a
- 17:49Speaker 2: zillion times, the left condition out. They can't take it.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Do you realize how many people on the right have
- 17:55Speaker 2: had their careers ruined because of some dumb thing they
- 17:58Speaker 2: said on social media. And every time somebody on the
- 18:03Speaker 2: right says something that's slightly askew on social media, the
- 18:07Speaker 2: left demands our heads, and it has been pointing out
- 18:11Speaker 2: forever they better think about the consequences of this every
- 18:19Speaker 2: single thing you do on social media as a career ender,
- 18:21Speaker 2: because it might at some point be turned against them.
- 18:28Speaker 2: When you take a look at the number of people
- 18:30Speaker 2: on the right who have suffered terribly because of a
- 18:34Speaker 2: social media comment, and you could say, well, they deserve
- 18:38Speaker 2: to suffer, they didn't. The list goes on forever, and
- 18:40Speaker 2: it's almost always someone on the left. In this case,
- 18:45Speaker 2: you have an individual who's got public figure in terms
- 18:49Speaker 2: of being an Alderman and a public profile in terms
- 18:52Speaker 2: of being a school teacher, either recklessly and dangerously spreading
- 18:57Speaker 2: false information. We're told didn't even see it himself, that
- 19:01Speaker 2: somebody just told him, which got into go and jump
- 19:06Speaker 2: and claim something factual was going on. You live by
- 19:13Speaker 2: the sword, you die by the sword. And it's the
- 19:15Speaker 2: left that has created these rules that if you say
- 19:18Speaker 2: anything at all that is wrong on social media, your
- 19:21Speaker 2: career is wiped out. It will be interesting to see
- 19:24Speaker 2: if Catholic Memorial caves the Mega movement, Trump and so
- 19:31Speaker 2: on has done a much better job than we conservatives
- 19:35Speaker 2: have done in the past in dishing it out to
- 19:38Speaker 2: the left. And as you can see, they can't take anything.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Every time Trump or anytime anybody in Mega goes after
- 19:45Speaker 2: anybody on the left, they squeal in horror. But the
- 19:51Speaker 2: left is still better at applying the pressure. So we'll
- 19:57Speaker 2: see whether or not Catholic Memorial caves that the lefties
- 20:03Speaker 2: are going out after them. Interestingly, of the two positions
- 20:08Speaker 2: that he obviously Catholic Memorial, it's a Catholic school and
- 20:11Speaker 2: so on. They don't expect their teachers to go out
- 20:14Speaker 2: and make false statements that are damaging statements and dangerous
- 20:18Speaker 2: statements on social media. Are not allowed to do it,
- 20:20Speaker 2: without regard to whether or not he's an all of
- 20:21Speaker 2: it or not. But it was certainly a greater breach
- 20:24Speaker 2: of his responsibility as an official of the city. If
- 20:27Speaker 2: there was an ice raid going on, which there wasn't,
- 20:29Speaker 2: he should keep his mouth shut and support a law
- 20:33Speaker 2: enforcement agency that's conducting a law enforcement operation in his
- 20:36Speaker 2: own city. It is also another indication of how the
- 20:43Speaker 2: left just loses its marbles on anything pertaining to wise
- 20:46Speaker 2: to the point now that they are going nuts over ice.
- 20:51Speaker 2: What it is? It even ice? Somebody's an it's ice.
- 20:56Speaker 2: There's all these like you watch these YouTube videos. There's
- 20:58Speaker 2: all these people. This has become a thing to be
- 21:00Speaker 2: a police impersonator. Now there's a build in the Wisconsin legislation,
- 21:04Speaker 2: you do up the penalties for it. In most states
- 21:05Speaker 2: that there isn't much of a penalty for. It's a
- 21:07Speaker 2: very dangerous thing. You know, somebody's driving around with a
- 21:09Speaker 2: car that looks like a cop car, and we're in
- 21:11Speaker 2: a uniform that looks like a cop uniform and having
- 21:13Speaker 2: a badge on that looks like a cop badge, and
- 21:15Speaker 2: having the gun bill down that looks and it can
- 21:18Speaker 2: be very very dangerous if the person is not a
- 21:20Speaker 2: real cop and is out to do harm to people.
- 21:27Speaker 2: I think that these rent a cops might, these fake
- 21:29Speaker 2: cops out there might want to consider some of these
- 21:31Speaker 2: lefties are gonna think you're ice and they're gonna come
- 21:33Speaker 2: and try to try to finish you off because they
- 21:35Speaker 2: think they see someone in a uniform, they think it's ice.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Oh yes, poor Walmart security, what that's ice? Over there,
- 21:43Speaker 2: the Walmart head. I'm just the Walmart security guy. Let
- 21:53Speaker 2: me update you on another story. I have a problem
- 21:56Speaker 2: with the way this one's been handled. This deals with
- 21:59Speaker 2: an automobile crash that occurred earlier this year. In fact,
- 22:02Speaker 2: it was Super Bowl Sunday. It occurred in Wakashaw County.
- 22:08Speaker 2: A guy went to a bar and got himself blasted
- 22:11Speaker 2: watching the Super Bowl. According to the criminal complaint, he
- 22:14Speaker 2: said he had about admitted he had about six drinks
- 22:16Speaker 2: at a bar. Then he went over to another bar
- 22:19Speaker 2: and had another four. He ended up driving the wrong
- 22:24Speaker 2: way on Moreland Road in New Berlin. Moreland Road is
- 22:28Speaker 2: a north south People confused Moreland Road with Moreland Boulevard,
- 22:33Speaker 2: but Moreland Road runs right to the middle of Brookfield
- 22:35Speaker 2: and then New Berlin to the south of Brookfield, goes
- 22:41Speaker 2: all the way down I forty three and beyond and
- 22:42Speaker 2: so on. It is a major thoroughfare, and a good
- 22:46Speaker 2: chunk of it is divided. He was going the wrong
- 22:50Speaker 2: way on Moreland and crashed into a New Berlin squad
- 22:56Speaker 2: car the guys from Muskego. My guess is he was
- 22:59Speaker 2: headed home to misqus Ego bombed and crashed head on
- 23:02Speaker 2: going the wrong way into a squad car. They tested
- 23:09Speaker 2: his blood alcohol content and it comes back at point
- 23:11Speaker 2: one six, which is double the legal limit for drunk driving.
- 23:15Speaker 2: The other thing on these tests is the blood test
- 23:17Speaker 2: often is taken. It could take up to two to
- 23:19Speaker 2: three hours. The blood test. That's not what you blow
- 23:22Speaker 2: in on the side of the road. The blood test
- 23:24Speaker 2: is they have to take you to a hospital and
- 23:25Speaker 2: do a blood draw, and that's after you're arrested. Sometimes
- 23:28Speaker 2: it's after your book. It can take a fair amount
- 23:29Speaker 2: of time. At another of any event, he was way
- 23:31Speaker 2: over the limit. He's on the wrong side of the freeway.
- 23:34Speaker 2: When this story initially occurred, the reaction is this is
- 23:37Speaker 2: again somebody there can't read English. How are they on
- 23:40Speaker 2: the right? And it wasn't. It's a guy who knows
- 23:42Speaker 2: the area. He was just that drunk, he's going the
- 23:44Speaker 2: wrong way and drove head on into a police car.
- 23:47Speaker 2: The officer was injured, but not severely broke a finger,
- 23:51Speaker 2: banged up. The case was resolved in Walkashaw County Circuit Court.
- 23:59Speaker 2: One of the newer judges he was he's a non incumbent.
- 24:03Speaker 2: He ran unopposed and was elected in April I have
- 24:07Speaker 2: a problem with all these judges that are unopposed, in
- 24:09Speaker 2: particular when they're running. The first time, he ran as
- 24:12Speaker 2: a Conservative and he is endorsed by all the Conservatives.
- 24:16Speaker 2: He handled this case. There was a plea bargain in
- 24:18Speaker 2: which the defendant his name is David A. Scott. And
- 24:22Speaker 2: again David Scott's a very common name. This guy lives
- 24:25Speaker 2: in Muschigo. He's fifty seven years old, and he's the
- 24:27Speaker 2: one who did it. So if you know a David Scott,
- 24:29Speaker 2: don't assume that it's this one. This is a A.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Scott from Muskego. He pleaded guilty to some charges and
- 24:37Speaker 2: others were dismissed, but read in read in means the
- 24:40Speaker 2: judge can consider them at sentencing. He was also charged
- 24:43Speaker 2: with bail jumping after the arrest, but those charges always
- 24:50Speaker 2: get dismissed. There's no reason at all, so far as
- 24:54Speaker 2: I can tell, for anybody to follow the conditions of
- 24:56Speaker 2: their bail because they never do anything. Is somebody who's
- 24:59Speaker 2: accused of bail jumping if they're then convicted of the
- 25:01Speaker 2: other offense. Among the charges that were ready in our
- 25:04Speaker 2: second are three counts of second degree recklessly endangering safety
- 25:09Speaker 2: and one count of causing an injury while operating with
- 25:11Speaker 2: a pac over the legal limit. He pleaded guilty to
- 25:16Speaker 2: second or more offense of OWI causing injury and second
- 25:20Speaker 2: degree recklessly endangering safety. So second offense OWI with the
- 25:24Speaker 2: enhancer of causing injury and then second degree recklessly endangering safety.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Those are both felonies. In other words, he was, even
- 25:36Speaker 2: after the plea bargain, convicted on serious charges and the
- 25:42Speaker 2: case was aggravated in terms of the impact. Here he's
- 25:45Speaker 2: not only going the wrong way while drunkey hits a
- 25:47Speaker 2: vehicle at squad Kinn the cop was hurt. The judge
- 25:50Speaker 2: in the case is Scott Wagner, brand new judge again.
- 25:55Speaker 2: The guy ran as a conservative in maybe he is,
- 25:58Speaker 2: Maybe he isn't. I admit I, oh, didn't know much
- 26:01Speaker 2: of anything about him when he ran the sentence four
- 26:05Speaker 2: months in jail, four months the rest probation. No, this
- 26:16Speaker 2: isn't just drunk driving. It's a repeat offense. But secondly,
- 26:21Speaker 2: it's drunk driving on the wrong side of the road.
- 26:23Speaker 2: We had drove straight into a vehicle. It hurt the driver,
- 26:26Speaker 2: who happened to be a cop. Four months. He's lucky.
- 26:33Speaker 2: The cop didn't die because obviously then you're talking lengthy
- 26:37Speaker 2: prison but four months, so it's too early to make
- 26:47Speaker 2: a permanent decision on this new judge Wagner. But my
- 26:50Speaker 2: first impression of him is is that he's a clown
- 26:54Speaker 2: show who said that he was a conservative and then
- 26:56Speaker 2: can't pull the trigger when he has somebody who was.
- 27:00Speaker 2: I mean, I just think people are fed up with
- 27:02Speaker 2: these cars going the wrong way on the freeway, wrong
- 27:04Speaker 2: way on the roads, and so on. It's happening all
- 27:06Speaker 2: the time, and in this case, by his own admission,
- 27:08Speaker 2: he was drinking like crazy four months. So this guy
- 27:15Speaker 2: over there is judge. There's a lot of judges named Wagner.
- 27:20Speaker 2: This is Scott Wagner Walker Shaw County. He's unnoticed. He
- 27:25Speaker 2: seems to be auditioning to be to displace Ralphie Ramirez
- 27:30Speaker 2: as the biggest clown showed judge and Walker Shaw Cony.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I think this sentence is a disgrace. I don't think
- 27:39Speaker 2: that the guy needs to spend ten years in prison,
- 27:42Speaker 2: but it was beyond mitigation. There's numerous factors that led
- 27:45Speaker 2: up to this and it resulted in an individual of
- 27:48Speaker 2: all the people that are getting themselves blasted on Super
- 27:50Speaker 2: Bowl Sunday. There weren't many of them that managed to
- 27:53Speaker 2: on Moreland Road, go the wrong way and drive into
- 27:55Speaker 2: a cop four months four months? Should I say four months?
- 28:03Speaker 2: One more time? Paul said, maybe what are four months?
- 28:07Speaker 2: This is the Mark Belling podcast. This is the Mark
- 28:13Speaker 2: Belling podcast. I mean, what do you think about it? Well,
- 28:19Speaker 2: Trump is pulling off as is extraordinary. There is some
- 28:23Speaker 2: sense that there is more hype than substances some of this,
- 28:30Speaker 2: and maybe that's true, maybe it isn't. But Trump gets
- 28:34Speaker 2: in a plane, gets an Air Force one and bops
- 28:37Speaker 2: all over Asia and comes back with trade deals right
- 28:39Speaker 2: and left, including this surprise meeting with the g of China.
- 28:45Speaker 2: They did not reach a permanent deal, but Trump issued
- 28:48Speaker 2: a statement claiming significant progress was gained the China situation.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Of all the countries that we have trade, but I
- 28:57Speaker 2: think the two big ones to deal with are Cana
- 29:00Speaker 2: In China, we do massive trade with Canada, and Canada
- 29:03Speaker 2: has been raping US forever and so is China. And
- 29:06Speaker 2: Trump has been determined. He's he vowed to do it,
- 29:09Speaker 2: and it was running for president for the second term
- 29:11Speaker 2: here that he was going to do a reset. He
- 29:13Speaker 2: made progress in the first term. Biden none did all
- 29:16Speaker 2: of it. China has some leverage over the United States.
- 29:20Speaker 2: It's a difficult situation. And Trump, as has been his
- 29:24Speaker 2: wont w ont want. Won't you ever heard of that word? Won't? Well,
- 29:31Speaker 2: it's it's a word, as is his like way of
- 29:35Speaker 2: doing things. It's not want is in the contraction wo
- 29:39Speaker 2: in apostrophe T. I think it's pronounced want as his
- 29:43Speaker 2: his want. Well, that's what it is. I admit it's
- 29:47Speaker 2: a nine dollars word that it didn't have to use,
- 29:50Speaker 2: so I have to explain therefore the word anyway, Trump
- 29:55Speaker 2: plays his own good cop bad cop. He was going
- 29:58Speaker 2: to go to China a few weeks ago. Then he canceled,
- 30:00Speaker 2: said there's no point in it because China slept a
- 30:01Speaker 2: big tariff on some of the rare earth minerals and
- 30:04Speaker 2: so on. All right, then Chump runs an end run
- 30:07Speaker 2: around him, makes a trade deal with China, made a
- 30:09Speaker 2: trade deal with Cambodia. He had earlier cut a trade
- 30:11Speaker 2: deal with Vietnam. All of those countries undercut China. You
- 30:15Speaker 2: see here The threat to China is if some of
- 30:18Speaker 2: these companies move their production to other countries in Southeast
- 30:21Speaker 2: Asia that can affect them. So Trump does that first
- 30:24Speaker 2: goes over to G and he issued the following statement
- 30:28Speaker 2: describing the deal. Now, again this is not finalized, but
- 30:34Speaker 2: Trump's statement implies that significant progress occurred. I had a
- 30:37Speaker 2: truly great meeting with President G of China. There is
- 30:40Speaker 2: enormous respect between our two countries, and that will only
- 30:43Speaker 2: be enhanced by with what just took place. We agreed
- 30:46Speaker 2: on many things, with others even of high importance, being
- 30:49Speaker 2: very close to resolved. I was extremely honored by the
- 30:52Speaker 2: fact that President G authorized China to begin the purchase
- 30:57Speaker 2: of massive amounts of soybean, sorghum, and other farm products.
- 31:00Speaker 2: It's a big deal. Some of the American agriculture products,
- 31:04Speaker 2: like soybeans in particular, the whole world uses them and
- 31:06Speaker 2: way more than they produce, way more than we need
- 31:08Speaker 2: in the United States, and China's just had tariffs on
- 31:11Speaker 2: our stuff. This is been a big thing for farmers,
- 31:14Speaker 2: especially in the parts of the country, and that's the
- 31:17Speaker 2: mid section on particularly soybeans and continuing. Our farmers will
- 31:21Speaker 2: be very happy. In fact, as I said once before
- 31:23Speaker 2: during my first administration, farmers should immediately go out and
- 31:27Speaker 2: buy more at land and larger tractors. I would like
- 31:30Speaker 2: to thank President g for this. The key that Trump's
- 31:33Speaker 2: pointing out here is we all know that there's been
- 31:35Speaker 2: this issue of farmland being subdivided and so on. If
- 31:40Speaker 2: we can finally start exporting more of our agriculture of
- 31:43Speaker 2: products because other countries stop putting these tariffs on them,
- 31:47Speaker 2: it's a growth industry for agriculture continuing. Additionally, China has
- 31:51Speaker 2: agreed to continue the flow of rare earth critical minerals, magnets, etc.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Openly and freely. Very significantly, China has strongly stated that
- 32:00Speaker 2: they will work diligently with us to stop the flow
- 32:02Speaker 2: of fenool into our country. This will help us end
- 32:05Speaker 2: the fenerol crisis. It goes on, say name, but there's
- 32:08Speaker 2: Trump bopping around doing this. He's I think, getting back
- 32:11Speaker 2: to the United States today. Nineteen other things are going
- 32:14Speaker 2: to happen here. He's going to do whatever he can
- 32:16Speaker 2: to leverage the Congress to pass the bill to fund
- 32:19Speaker 2: the federal government and so on, without regard to whether
- 32:25Speaker 2: you agree with him on most of these things. And
- 32:27Speaker 2: I think a better trade deal with China is something
- 32:29Speaker 2: that unless you just hate Trump, everyone would agree with
- 32:33Speaker 2: the level of activity from this president has been extraordinary.
- 32:39Speaker 2: I now want to move to the story that keeps
- 32:46Speaker 2: hanging over this country, and that is the growing information
- 32:53Speaker 2: we have about the misconduct that occurred during the Biden
- 32:57Speaker 2: administration directed word promp. I want to first focus on
- 33:05Speaker 2: the leftist hypocrisy here. We're celebrating here in twenty five,
- 33:16Speaker 2: the fiftieth anniversary of all things Watergate. It's the fiftieth
- 33:20Speaker 2: aniversary of Nixon resigning. The break in was last year,
- 33:23Speaker 2: you know, so all the Woodward and Bernstein retrospectives are
- 33:25Speaker 2: coming back. Watergay, water Gay, Watergate, Watergate, and it's been
- 33:29Speaker 2: written by more than a few people that jordy of
- 33:32Speaker 2: Americans may not have been alive when Watergate was going on,
- 33:34Speaker 2: and they don't even know what the scandal was, or
- 33:37Speaker 2: they misunderstand the scandal and think that there was this
- 33:39Speaker 2: small little break in that they tried to cover up.
- 33:42Speaker 2: In fact, the cover up was because the break in
- 33:48Speaker 2: exposed the larger scandal that was going on that was
- 33:51Speaker 2: pervasive in Nixon's administration. The famous movie All the President's Men,
- 33:57Speaker 2: which is based on the book that was written by
- 33:58Speaker 2: Woodward and Bernstein and starred Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman,
- 34:02Speaker 2: who played bernstand At Woodward. Hel Holbrooke played one of
- 34:10Speaker 2: Woodward's primary sources. He was not identified until decades later.
- 34:15Speaker 2: It was Mark Feld who was the number two of
- 34:17Speaker 2: the FBI, but he was dubbed because they never named
- 34:21Speaker 2: him deep Throat, and he got the deep Throat. If
- 34:24Speaker 2: you're not aware, if people need to know what deep throat,
- 34:26Speaker 2: where the name came Do you know where it came from.
- 34:28Speaker 2: It's a porno movie. It was like the first big
- 34:30Speaker 2: porno movie and it it's Destiny with blood woman performing
- 34:36Speaker 2: a sexual act that I'm in Deep Throat And the
- 34:39Speaker 2: name came to be applied here because the source was
- 34:41Speaker 2: on deep background. Deep background means you don't even identify
- 34:45Speaker 2: that he's in the administration. You don't use anything to
- 34:48Speaker 2: identify deep background, and one of the editors came up
- 34:51Speaker 2: with deep Throat. This is a segment from the movie.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Deep Throat was played by hel Holbrook who at the
- 34:57Speaker 2: time was a really big actor, And all the meetings
- 35:03Speaker 2: were in this parking garage, and every scene that they
- 35:06Speaker 2: shot with Deep Throat, he's in the shadows of the
- 35:08Speaker 2: parking garage. You never really saw hell Hobook's face. But
- 35:11Speaker 2: I want you to listen to the content because this
- 35:14Speaker 2: was the thing that drove the left during Nixon and
- 35:17Speaker 2: for decades afterwards to why Watergate was so serious. It
- 35:21Speaker 2: was that they were using the entire government to stack
- 35:27Speaker 2: the deck against their political adversaries. Listen to this cut
- 35:33Speaker 2: here of deep.
- 35:33Speaker 5: Throat and it was a Harman operation.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Stop the tape for a second. Haldeman was the White
- 35:38Speaker 2: House Chief of Staff. HR Haldeman so deep throat to say,
- 35:41Speaker 2: this is the very top of the administration. He'll go
- 35:45Speaker 2: through some other names that some of you may not
- 35:47Speaker 2: know back from the Watergate days, but he's naming the
- 35:49Speaker 2: biggest player, the people that ran Nixon's presidency.
- 35:53Speaker 5: And it was a Horrorman operation. The whole business was
- 35:57Speaker 5: run by Alderman, the money, everything. It won't be easy
- 36:01Speaker 5: getting at him. He was insulated. You'll have to find
- 36:03Speaker 5: out how Mitchell started doing covert stuff before anyone else.
- 36:12Speaker 5: The list is longer than anyone can imagine. It involves
- 36:18Speaker 5: the entire US intelligence community, FBI, CIA and Justice. It's
- 36:27Speaker 5: incredible cover up had little to do with Watergate. It
- 36:33Speaker 5: was mainly to protect the covert operations. It leads everywhere.
- 36:43Speaker 5: Get out your notebook. There's more, all.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Right, That was the scene. The point is it was
- 36:51Speaker 2: the entire government. They were conducting covert operations, and those
- 36:57Speaker 2: covert operations including trying to rig the demoocratic primaries. In
- 37:00Speaker 2: the nineteen seventy two election. They were terrified of the
- 37:04Speaker 2: candidacy of Ed Muskie, senator from Maine, who is something
- 37:07Speaker 2: of a moderate. They wanted to run against McGovern, the
- 37:10Speaker 2: radical liberal. They managed to crash out Muskie's campaign by
- 37:15Speaker 2: spreading a fake letter that he never wrote. They were
- 37:20Speaker 2: not only were trying to bug the Watergate, they were
- 37:22Speaker 2: spying on Democrats. They were conducting illegal political operations all
- 37:27Speaker 2: over the place. There was also people brought up that
- 37:31Speaker 2: we learned from the White House tapes that Nixon was
- 37:33Speaker 2: threatening to take away the broadcast licenses of TV stations
- 37:37Speaker 2: that were owned by the big lefty newspapers and so
- 37:39Speaker 2: leberals are horrified by this, horrified that the government tools
- 37:45Speaker 2: were used to spy on their political adversaries. Fifty years later,
- 37:54Speaker 2: we now know that that happened again, only far more pervasively.
- 38:00Speaker 2: The code name for it was Operation Arctic Frost. This
- 38:04Speaker 2: is the operation that came out of the Department of
- 38:07Speaker 2: Justice in the FBI and included all the intelligence agencies
- 38:10Speaker 2: and were now just beginning to learn the scope the
- 38:12Speaker 2: number of Republican politicians and conservative organizations that were targeted
- 38:17Speaker 2: Ted Cruz's phone was tapped. Other senator's phones were tapped.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Numerous conservative organizations were put under surveillance. Catherine Herridge, formerly
- 38:30Speaker 2: of CBS News I want to quote from her post
- 38:33Speaker 2: Arctic Frost dragnet expands plus four hundred GOP targets. According
- 38:37Speaker 2: to new records provided through legally protected whistleblower disclosures to
- 38:42Speaker 2: Senator Chuck Grassley, one hundred and ninety seven subpoenas sought testimony, records,
- 38:47Speaker 2: and communications related to at least four hundred and thirty
- 38:51Speaker 2: named Republican individuals and entities. Some of the records Special
- 38:55Speaker 2: Consul Jacksmith's subpoened from banks, individuals, and business. This is
- 39:00Speaker 2: included communications with media companies CBS, Fox News, Fox Business, Newsmax,
- 39:05Speaker 2: Sinclair and others. Communications with any member, employ or agent
- 39:10Speaker 2: of the legislative branch of the US government. Communications with
- 39:13Speaker 2: White House advisors such as Stephen Miller, Dan Scavino, Jared Kushner,
- 39:18Speaker 2: Laura Trump statistical data and analysis relating to donors and
- 39:22Speaker 2: fundraising efforts, broad financial data relating to conservative individuals and entities,
- 39:28Speaker 2: plus seventeen hundred pages. That's Hariage quoting from the documents
- 39:32Speaker 2: that Senator Grassley has gotten from whistleblowers. Sean Davis's post
- 39:41Speaker 2: on text new Arctic Frost whistleblower documents showed that the
- 39:45Speaker 2: corrupt Biden FBI subpoenaed the bank records, donor lists, and
- 39:49Speaker 2: emails of nearly every major conservative organization and leader in
- 39:53Speaker 2: the country, including Donald Trump's campaign, the RNC, Conservative Partnership Institute,
- 39:59Speaker 2: Save America, America First Policy Institute, and even my pillow.
- 40:04Speaker 2: My pillow, of course, because the guy who ran it
- 40:07Speaker 2: was claiming the election was Reagar, et cetera. Now, before
- 40:10Speaker 2: I get to the next one, my comment here. Remember
- 40:17Speaker 2: why Nixon went down in Watergate. Many of you don't.
- 40:21Speaker 2: It's because the Republicans turned against him. In order to
- 40:24Speaker 2: be impeached and removed via conviction, you needed two thirds vote.
- 40:29Speaker 2: You needed only a majority vote to impeach, but to
- 40:31Speaker 2: remove and Senate trial two thirds. And the Senate Republicans
- 40:35Speaker 2: abandoned Nixon because once they saw what the evidence was,
- 40:38Speaker 2: they said, we cannot have this. Fifty years later, far
- 40:45Speaker 2: worse occurred the same type of thing, using all of
- 40:48Speaker 2: the mechanisms of government to surveil, spy, investigate members of
- 40:52Speaker 2: the opposition party, and not a Democrat was bothered by
- 40:56Speaker 2: it instead. And here's the great irony there they are
- 40:58Speaker 2: worrying about no and Trump targeting its enemies. When you
- 41:02Speaker 2: add this when you had virtually every prominent conservative in
- 41:06Speaker 2: America and the crossyards of numerous federal agencies. This posts
- 41:17Speaker 2: from the House Judiciary Committee was Senator Grassay on the
- 41:20Speaker 2: Senate Judiciary Committee and the Committee on Oversight to believe
- 41:24Speaker 2: the first This now from the House Judiciary Committee posting
- 41:27Speaker 2: new Arctic Frost documents reveal even further wide ranging investigation
- 41:32Speaker 2: by Biden's d or Jay to takedown President Trumpety supporters highlights.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Arctic Frost Investigators utilized FBI field officism across the country
- 41:40Speaker 2: to conduct its investigation. Arctic Frost Investigators requested sixteen thousand
- 41:46Speaker 2: dollars to travel to conduct more than forty interviews forty
- 41:49Speaker 2: five individuals, including Steve Bann and Scott Perry, Rudolph Giuliani,
- 41:52Speaker 2: Jeffrey Clark, John Eastman, and Mark Meadows were potentially under investigation.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Another one hundred eleven individuals, including Peter Navarro, Dan Scavino,
- 42:01Speaker 2: Jeff Rosen, and Ed Martin were also potentially under investigation,
- 42:05Speaker 2: and then they provide a link to the documents. This
- 42:13Speaker 2: was clearly more extensive than Watergate. The difference is that
- 42:19Speaker 2: because it was the Democrats that did it, there was
- 42:22Speaker 2: no media to expose it. There was no Woodward in
- 42:26Speaker 2: Bernstein trying to get to the bottom of this. Instead,
- 42:30Speaker 2: they were doing the opposite. They were the recipient of
- 42:33Speaker 2: the leagues indicating these people were under target for investigation
- 42:36Speaker 2: because of all these the various things that they must
- 42:39Speaker 2: have done. There was a time in which in this
- 42:45Speaker 2: country there was principle that there were some things we
- 42:49Speaker 2: would not allow the government to do. Without regard to
- 42:51Speaker 2: whether it was Democrats and the government Republicans in the government.
- 42:54Speaker 2: I still think most Republicans have some standards and there
- 42:58Speaker 2: were certain things that they would not all want a
- 43:00Speaker 2: Republican government to do. For the Democrats, it's all gone.
- 43:04Speaker 2: The whole Watergate thing was all forty Maybe the Democrats
- 43:09Speaker 2: of the time would not have stood for it, but
- 43:11Speaker 2: they're clearly standing for it now, and in fact, when
- 43:16Speaker 2: Prumpt's people now try to expose the waterged of our
- 43:19Speaker 2: times Arctic frost, it's Trump's the bag guy for going
- 43:24Speaker 2: after his enemies, even though the enemies he's going after
- 43:30Speaker 2: are the ones who started it by illegally not only
- 43:34Speaker 2: surveilling him, but just about every other prominent conservative in America.
- 43:38Speaker 2: I wouldn't I'm a small potato here in Milwaukee, but
- 43:41Speaker 2: would I say I would be shocked if I found
- 43:43Speaker 2: out that they were looking in I wouldn't be shocked.
- 43:45Speaker 2: This thing has gone everywhere. You got like eighty five
- 43:49Speaker 2: different people in Turning Point that were under this imagined
- 43:52Speaker 2: all the other conservative organizations. This I believe was with
- 43:56Speaker 2: January sixth, and the overreaction to it was all about
- 44:00Speaker 2: it is the excuse that the right is involved in insurrections,
- 44:03Speaker 2: so therefore we've got to investigate all of them, which
- 44:05Speaker 2: is why they hype the whole thing. And one final
- 44:16Speaker 2: story here, there is a piece in the Washington Post
- 44:21Speaker 2: that appeared yesterday. It's a seemingly minor story, but it's
- 44:27Speaker 2: one of those stories that's just kind of I would
- 44:31Speaker 2: say the term here would be precious beds have all
- 44:35Speaker 2: these agencies. There's something called the Fine Arts Commission. What
- 44:40Speaker 2: they do is they're actually in charge of the institutions
- 44:44Speaker 2: of fine arts that the government runs. The members of
- 44:48Speaker 2: the Commission are appointed by the president. What do you
- 44:52Speaker 2: think Trump did with the members of the commission? Fire them?
- 44:56Speaker 2: Why do you fire them? Why? Because they're all Biden's people.
- 45:04Speaker 2: And that's the story is Trump fires some of these
- 45:06Speaker 2: people still had time left in their terms. So the
- 45:09Speaker 2: wisup was say, is this big story, Trump's firing all
- 45:12Speaker 2: the members of the Fine Arts Commission that Biden appointed.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Here's what the story doesn't mention. What do you think
- 45:18Speaker 2: happened with that commission in twenty twenty one? Biden fired
- 45:22Speaker 2: all the appointees some Trump's first term. So Trump appointed
- 45:27Speaker 2: all these members of the Fine Arts Commission, and back
- 45:28Speaker 2: in twenty seventeen when he came in in term one,
- 45:31Speaker 2: Biden got rid of all of him put in his people.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Trump comes in, he gets rid of them, He's gonna
- 45:35Speaker 2: put in his people. But the story that's reported is
- 45:38Speaker 2: Trump firing all the members of the commission not even mentioned.
- 45:42Speaker 2: In fact, it ask is mentioned way at the end
- 45:44Speaker 2: of the story. And well Biden did the same thing,
- 45:46Speaker 2: but it was never a thing. It was never a
- 45:50Speaker 2: reported as major news. It was simply accepted that when
- 45:53Speaker 2: a new administration comes into place, they're going to put
- 45:55Speaker 2: their own people into these agencies. The one difference between
- 46:03Speaker 2: then and now is conservatives Charlie Kirk's organization many others
- 46:11Speaker 2: are responsible for this. Trump empowering conservatives to speak out.
- 46:16Speaker 2: The explosion of conservative media through podcasts, zillions of them,
- 46:20Speaker 2: like my own other conservative media outlets, is that this
- 46:24Speaker 2: information is now getting out. Unfortunately, it doesn't get out
- 46:28Speaker 2: to the people who don't pay attention to conservative news outlets,
- 46:31Speaker 2: just people that are kind of apathetic run into the news,
- 46:34Speaker 2: or anybody on the left who doesn't listen to any
- 46:36Speaker 2: of it. But at least those of us on the
- 46:39Speaker 2: right are aware but understand this. Let's imagine Kamala had won,
- 46:49Speaker 2: we never would have found any of this out. We
- 46:52Speaker 2: didn't find it out until now when it was going on.
- 46:54Speaker 2: We didn't know the whistleblowers that are blowing the whistle now.
- 46:59Speaker 2: These are people within the FBI, the Department of Justice
- 47:02Speaker 2: that were appalled by it. They were terrified to blow
- 47:06Speaker 2: the whistle. Back then, because they knew what would happen
- 47:09Speaker 2: to them. Now that there is a receptive audience, and
- 47:12Speaker 2: that the Republicans control the Senate, in the House and
- 47:17Speaker 2: in the White House, with a Department of Justice that
- 47:19Speaker 2: wants to clean up all this rot, the whistleblowers are
- 47:23Speaker 2: pointing us in the direction of all of the stuff
- 47:26Speaker 2: that happened. But it's just like going back to the
- 47:30Speaker 2: water get story. In Woodward and Bernstein had deep throat.
- 47:34Speaker 2: In the other sources of Woodward and Bernstein not talked,
- 47:36Speaker 2: we wouldn't have known that either. And the only reason
- 47:39Speaker 2: we're learning any of this now is that Trump won
- 47:42Speaker 2: and some of the people who clearly were not going
- 47:45Speaker 2: going to blow the whistle are in fact blowing the whistle.
- 47:49Speaker 2: The difference in the two eras fifty years apart is
- 47:53Speaker 2: that the Democrats who were so appalled when Nixon and
- 47:55Speaker 2: the Republicans did it not only are not appalled that
- 48:00Speaker 2: it's being done by their side now, they in fact
- 48:04Speaker 2: were gleeful to do it. This is the Mark Belling Podcast.
- 48:12Speaker 2: This is the Mark Belling Podcast, and it's time for
- 48:14Speaker 2: our weekly football preview and some point spread picks, and
- 48:18Speaker 2: as we are every week, we're joined by Mike murletta
- 48:20Speaker 2: of American sports analysts, and Madison. Their website is ASA
- 48:24Speaker 2: wins dot com. Before we get rolling here, Mike, anything
- 48:27Speaker 2: you want to share about what's going on with your
- 48:29Speaker 2: service this weekend.
- 48:30Speaker 4: Yeah, they can check on Friday. ASA wins dot Com.
- 48:33Speaker 4: Didn't have a great week weekend last weekend. We won
- 48:36Speaker 4: our top college game, lost our top program, but overall
- 48:39Speaker 4: probably our worst weekend of the year. So we look
- 48:41Speaker 4: to bounce back this week and we'll probably have a
- 48:43Speaker 4: special weekend package they can check, and I expect us
- 48:45Speaker 4: to have a good weekend. There's some really good matchups
- 48:47Speaker 4: this weekend.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Well, I wasn't right about anything last weekend. My pick
- 48:53Speaker 2: that I used on the radio didn't work. My second
- 48:55Speaker 2: favorite pick lost, my third favorite pick lost, my fourth
- 48:59Speaker 2: favorite pick, My top five favorite games all lost, and
- 49:03Speaker 2: all of them kind of got clobbered. I mean, so
- 49:07Speaker 2: we're just putting all that in the rearview mirror. We're
- 49:09Speaker 2: going to start with before we get into individual games.
- 49:12Speaker 2: I want to talk about a couple of issues in
- 49:14Speaker 2: college football rather than game previews. There really isn't a
- 49:17Speaker 2: Marquee Huge Dynamite game this weekend, so I want to
- 49:20Speaker 2: talk about a couple of issues, and the first time
- 49:22Speaker 2: I want to raise with Mike is this now trend
- 49:25Speaker 2: and I think that's the right word, trend of firing
- 49:28Speaker 2: coaches not toward the end of the season, and certainly
- 49:31Speaker 2: not after the season, but in the middle of the season,
- 49:35Speaker 2: and in some cases extremely successful coaches, in some cases
- 49:40Speaker 2: coaches that had massive contracts with years to go in
- 49:43Speaker 2: huge buyouts. The latest, of course being Brian Kelly, fired
- 49:48Speaker 2: at LSU. They backed up the truck several years ago
- 49:51Speaker 2: to lure him away from Notre Dame. They decided it
- 49:55Speaker 2: hasn't worked, even though I think his record's thirty four
- 49:57Speaker 2: and fourteen or something there. So they have him this
- 50:00Speaker 2: enormous biout, plus whatever it is they're going to have
- 50:03Speaker 2: to hire pay for a new coach. James Franklin got
- 50:06Speaker 2: fired at Penn State earlier this year. Both Florida schools
- 50:11Speaker 2: are likely to have gotten rid of their coaches soon.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Mike Norvella Florida State might be the next to go.
- 50:17Speaker 2: And the thing that's striking me about this is a
- 50:20Speaker 2: the timing and b the fact that some of these coaches,
- 50:25Speaker 2: because they've been so successful, are owed to a fortune
- 50:29Speaker 2: in biots. Let's start with the first thing. What really
- 50:32Speaker 2: is the point in firing a coach in the middle
- 50:36Speaker 2: of the season, given that you can't go looking for
- 50:39Speaker 2: a successor until after the season, and you have to
- 50:41Speaker 2: name an interim coach in the meantime, Why do you
- 50:44Speaker 2: think that this is going on and it's becoming so prevalent.
- 50:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not sure why why it's already become like
- 50:53Speaker 4: middle of the season type stuff. Used to never see that.
- 50:55Speaker 4: I mean, there's twelve FBS openings right now in the
- 50:58Speaker 4: middle of the season, and some big like you said, LSU, UCLA, Florida,
- 51:02Speaker 4: Penn State, more to come. I don't know if they're
- 51:05Speaker 4: trying to get a jump on, you know, contacting other coaches,
- 51:11Speaker 4: contacting potential replacements rather than waiting, and other teams have
- 51:16Speaker 4: maybe behind the scenes that could be ed, you know,
- 51:19Speaker 4: locked up, some coaching can be That's the only reason.
- 51:22Speaker 4: I think.
- 51:23Speaker 2: One of the ramifications of that, though, is you've got
- 51:26Speaker 2: a school like Mississippi having a pretty good year. Lane
- 51:29Speaker 2: Kiffin's their coach. He's rumored for all of these jobs.
- 51:33Speaker 2: What a distraction for his team for the remaining six
- 51:36Speaker 2: or seven games that they have left in the season,
- 51:39Speaker 2: or for heaven's sakes, if they managed to make it
- 51:42Speaker 2: to the playoffs, which they might make it. There are
- 51:44Speaker 2: a couple of other coaches of top teams, their names
- 51:46Speaker 2: are swirling around and all of this stuff. They probably
- 51:49Speaker 2: are talking to their agents who are talking with the schools.
- 51:52Speaker 2: The coach himself can't talk, but the agents can have
- 51:54Speaker 2: backchannel conversations. So it's also affecting all of these coaches
- 51:58Speaker 2: that might be rumored to be in the mix. And
- 52:01Speaker 2: it's becoming primarily a college thing as opposed to the pros,
- 52:05Speaker 2: where you might think it's a little bit more understandable
- 52:09Speaker 2: to do. So. The other component of this is now
- 52:12Speaker 2: that we're in this era of nil where anybody can
- 52:16Speaker 2: transfer and go to another school and know sitting out
- 52:18Speaker 2: or anything like that. When you fire a coach who
- 52:21Speaker 2: recruited some of these players, you might see thirty or
- 52:24Speaker 2: forty or forty five players leave the team at the
- 52:28Speaker 2: end of the season. And the final point is, I
- 52:30Speaker 2: just look at all of this and I think that
- 52:33Speaker 2: there are more schools that want a great coach than
- 52:36Speaker 2: there are great coaches that are out there. I mean,
- 52:40Speaker 2: with the Penn State situation, has been talked about a lot.
- 52:43Speaker 2: I mean, everybody wants to now hire James Franklin, the
- 52:46Speaker 2: Penn State coach. He's the number one guy in the
- 52:48Speaker 2: list for all of these jobs. Yet Penn State had
- 52:51Speaker 2: James Franklin and they are rid of him because they
- 52:53Speaker 2: couldn't handle a three game losing streak after a bunch
- 52:56Speaker 2: of great seasons. Something is totally screwed up here. And
- 53:01Speaker 2: I think that some of these athletic directors are so
- 53:04Speaker 2: behold in too loudmouth alumni that they're making unwise, irrational
- 53:10Speaker 2: emotional decisions that not only don't make strategic sense, they
- 53:14Speaker 2: don't make financial sense. You pay off a buyout of
- 53:17Speaker 2: thirty five million to a coach, tie up seventy million
- 53:20Speaker 2: in a new coach when you still have to run
- 53:22Speaker 2: an entire athletic department.
- 53:24Speaker 4: Yeah. No, I agree that the buyouts are insane. I mean,
- 53:28Speaker 4: right now, so far this year, there's like one hundred
- 53:31Speaker 4: and seventy million in buyouts from coaches that got fired
- 53:35Speaker 4: during the season this year, and like you said, they're
- 53:37Speaker 4: gonna have to hire other coaches and pay them. I
- 53:40Speaker 4: don't disagree with that. I think a lot of it
- 53:41Speaker 4: has to do with big boasters coming in and say
- 53:43Speaker 4: we don't want him anymore, we'll raise money to get
- 53:46Speaker 4: rid of them, that type of thing, and they're kind of,
- 53:49Speaker 4: you know, in a lot of schools running the show
- 53:51Speaker 4: more so than the coaches and the administration are.
- 53:54Speaker 2: That brings us to I think a related topic, and
- 53:56Speaker 2: that's Wisconsin. Paul and I both thought and made our
- 54:00Speaker 2: picks on this that Oregon would annihilate Wisconsin, and they didn't.
- 54:04Speaker 2: Wisconsin actually played defensively an unbelievably good game. They Badgers
- 54:10Speaker 2: don't have an offense, but their defense was spectacular in
- 54:14Speaker 2: holding an outstanding Oregon team to only twenty one points.
- 54:18Speaker 2: It makes one wonder if Wisconsin did show that it
- 54:22Speaker 2: can salvage the season. They have a buy this week
- 54:24Speaker 2: when they come back after the bye by that strong
- 54:27Speaker 2: defensive performance that they had there. And going back to
- 54:31Speaker 2: this whole business of firing coaches and so on, given
- 54:34Speaker 2: that he is building one of the best defenses in America,
- 54:39Speaker 2: is the consensus wrong that Luke Fickle needs to be fired?
- 54:42Speaker 2: And maybe are they better off keeping him. He's built
- 54:45Speaker 2: a defense, builds an offense next end. Wouldn't you be
- 54:49Speaker 2: in a better position than if you see everybody transfer,
- 54:51Speaker 2: everybody leaving start over again with another coach. A lot
- 54:54Speaker 2: there on Wisconsin. But just your thoughts on whether or
- 54:57Speaker 2: not they turned a real corner last week and what
- 55:01Speaker 2: the situation with Fickle is.
- 55:03Speaker 4: Yeah, the interesting thing with Fickle is I don't think
- 55:07Speaker 4: he I think he's going to make it through the season.
- 55:08Speaker 4: I won't be surprised if he's around next year. Look
- 55:12Speaker 4: at how many big job openings there. I mean, Wisconsin's
- 55:14Speaker 4: way down the pecking cort right for some of those jobs,
- 55:17Speaker 4: especially if Florida State opens, Auburn might open. I was
- 55:21Speaker 4: really the one thing I've noticed is, and this is
- 55:25Speaker 4: a positive for Fickle, the team hasn't quit at all.
- 55:28Speaker 2: I mean no, and I thought they would. I mean,
- 55:30Speaker 2: they went to this gauntlet of a schedule, and weirdly
- 55:33Speaker 2: they seem to be getting I mean the Iowa loss
- 55:37Speaker 2: Iowa was the weakest of the three teams that they
- 55:39Speaker 2: played in this stretch, and they seem to play better
- 55:43Speaker 2: the following two weeks against better opposition in Ohio State
- 55:47Speaker 2: and Oregon.
- 55:48Speaker 4: Yeah. No, I agree, I mean I was really shocked.
- 55:51Speaker 4: I liked your point last week, and I agreed that
- 55:54Speaker 4: you know, at some point the Wisconsin defense is just
- 55:56Speaker 4: going to collapse because they're on the field too much,
- 55:59Speaker 4: and they had played so many big games in a
- 56:01Speaker 4: row and they play their best game yet they had
- 56:03Speaker 4: held Oregon to twenty points below their average, and Oregon
- 56:06Speaker 4: is averaging over five hundred yards per game. They held
- 56:08Speaker 4: in the three hundred and thirty five yards. If they
- 56:10Speaker 4: get a little help from the offense, even if you
- 56:13Speaker 4: had just a slightly below average offense, I think they'd
- 56:16Speaker 4: actually be okay. So, you know, looking ahead, if they
- 56:19Speaker 4: can replace some get a quarterback on offense, which is key.
- 56:22Speaker 4: They're down to the third string quarterback, you got to
- 56:24Speaker 4: have a good Well.
- 56:25Speaker 2: There's some talk now that they have a highly toted
- 56:27Speaker 2: freshman who has not played. The rule in college football
- 56:31Speaker 2: is if you play only four games, you can maintain
- 56:35Speaker 2: red shirt status and not you lose a year of eligibility.
- 56:38Speaker 2: That after the bye they may bring him in now
- 56:41Speaker 2: that they wouldn't lose a year of eligibility. I don't
- 56:44Speaker 2: think that's the explanation, because if a quarterback is really
- 56:47Speaker 2: really good, you don't worry that much about eligibility. Because
- 56:50Speaker 2: they're thinking of going to the pros after a while,
- 56:52Speaker 2: but there's all of that talk that's out there. In
- 56:53Speaker 2: the meantime, I'm hearing people talk about Wisconsin should hire James. Frankly,
- 56:56Speaker 2: they should hire this guy. They should hire that guy.
- 56:59Speaker 2: These schools that are eating sixty million dollar buyouts are
- 57:02Speaker 2: going to lay out one hundred and twenty million dollars
- 57:04Speaker 2: in a nine year contract for some of these coaches,
- 57:06Speaker 2: and I don't think Wisconsin's in a position, you know,
- 57:10Speaker 2: to be able to do that. All right, let's turn
- 57:12Speaker 2: our attention to the NFL, and I do want to
- 57:14Speaker 2: preview two games. This seems like a lopside of game,
- 57:18Speaker 2: but it's an interesting one to talk about, and that's
- 57:20Speaker 2: the Packers and the Panthers. First of all, Carolina seems
- 57:23Speaker 2: to be no almost perpetually awful. The Packers are a
- 57:28Speaker 2: fascinating situation. They played in the second half last week
- 57:32Speaker 2: against Pittsburgh as well as an NFL team can play,
- 57:36Speaker 2: but let's also acknowledge that they were down sixteen to
- 57:38Speaker 2: seven at halftime to an only Okay team. It's very
- 57:43Speaker 2: hard to get a read on the Packers. They have
- 57:45Speaker 2: a great record of five to one and one, and
- 57:47Speaker 2: at times they've looked outstanding. They're back home and it's
- 57:52Speaker 2: been a while since they've been home. But they're back home,
- 57:55Speaker 2: and it's probably a letdown situation with a poor opponent,
- 58:00Speaker 2: but visually they finally looked really, really good. Thoughts on
- 58:04Speaker 2: Packers and thoughts on this game. The Packers favored by
- 58:06Speaker 2: about two touchdowns against Carolina.
- 58:09Speaker 4: Yeah, they're you know, they're favored by thirteen and a
- 58:12Speaker 4: half right now. Interestingly enough, twelve to thirteen games last
- 58:17Speaker 4: week in the NFL decided by ten points. More so,
- 58:20Speaker 4: a lot of blowouts last and you.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Mentioned the twelve that the favorites went eleven and two.
- 58:26Speaker 2: My favorite NFL game, and I almost choose that out
- 58:28Speaker 2: of the year was Atlanta favored by eight over Miami
- 58:32Speaker 2: and Miami won by twenty four. It was the one
- 58:35Speaker 2: game where an underdog destroyed a favorite at a weekend where
- 58:37Speaker 2: none of that happened. That's all wrong. I was on everything,
- 58:41Speaker 2: but you were right. I mean all the game. Almost
- 58:43Speaker 2: all the games are blowouts this past week, and favorites
- 58:46Speaker 2: won virtually every one of the game, and the overs
- 58:48Speaker 2: went way, way, way over.
- 58:51Speaker 4: Yeah, which is bad for the sports folks when that happens.
- 58:54Speaker 4: But yeah, Green Bay second half. Last week had almost
- 58:58Speaker 4: three hundred total yards in the second half and Pittsburgh
- 59:01Speaker 4: had barely a hundred, so they played really well. Their
- 59:03Speaker 4: offense didn't look great in the first half and they
- 59:05Speaker 4: look completely different in the second half. Carolina is not terrible.
- 59:09Speaker 4: They're four and four, but they you know they They
- 59:13Speaker 4: didn't have their quarterback last week. Bryce Young was out
- 59:16Speaker 4: and they lost three starting offensive linemen who aren't going
- 59:19Speaker 4: to play this week, which is huge for green Bay.
- 59:21Speaker 2: It's not green The Packers pass rush is really coming on.
- 59:25Speaker 4: They are, they really are, and with three backup offensive
- 59:28Speaker 4: line and that's not great for Carolina A. Green Bay's
- 59:31Speaker 4: coming off a big game. They got the Eagles next,
- 59:33Speaker 4: so that's not ideal. But double digit favorites this year
- 59:37Speaker 4: have been decent. Six and four against the spread, and
- 59:39Speaker 4: if you go back to the start of last year,
- 59:41Speaker 4: they're twenty and thirteen against the spread the last two
- 59:44Speaker 4: years double digit favorites. Historically they're not good, but they
- 59:47Speaker 4: have been decent. I wouldn't lay two touchdowns in this game,
- 59:52Speaker 4: but I can't see the pay I don't see this
- 59:53Speaker 4: being a close game, but I could see green Bay
- 59:55Speaker 4: getting ahead and just kind of grinding out and winning
- 59:58Speaker 4: somewhere by you know, ten to four teen to seventeen
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: type points. In this game against the banged up Carolina team.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Paul says the Packers played down to opponents level. I
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: don't think I agree with that. I can't get a
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: feel for them at all, because the Packers alternate between
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: brilliance and pretty good. They haven't played a stinker of
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: a game. They were defensively terrible against Dallas, but they
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: put up a lot of points in that game. There's
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: a just a tough team to get a feel out.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: In the meantime, everybody, this is been the marquee game
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: in the NFL for the last ten years. The Chiefs
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: played the Bills again, they always seemed at first of all,
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: they always seem to meet in the postseason, and they
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: seem to meet in the regular season a lot, even
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: though they're not in the same division this year. Kansas City,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: which went to the Super Bowl last year, and I
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: thought they had a down year and they just got
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: to snuck into it. This looks like as good a
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Chiefs team as we've seen. They're really, really good, particularly
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: once we got past the beginning of the season and
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Buffalo's coming off a win of forty to nine in
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: which they massacred a team last week. Your thoughts on
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: the Chiefs of the Bills.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it's interesting. Like you said, I think it's the
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: NFL's top rivalry right now. And they're not even the
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: Sight Division. I mean, usually you see teams in division
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: being big rivals. But they have played since the twenty
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: counting the twenty twenty one playoffs, they played eight times
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: since then. And the interesting point between these two is
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: they played four times in the playoffs during that stretch.
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: Kansas City's four to oh they played four times during
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: the regular season during that stretch and Buffalo's four and oh.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: So Kansas City's winning the games that mean something in
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: the playoffs and Buffalo's winning the regular season games over
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: the last four or five years. In this game, I
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: think you're right. I think right now, Kansas City, even
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: though they're five and three, I think they're the best
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: team in the NFL right now. They're five to one
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: both straight up and against the spread. Their last six games,
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: and the one they lost they completely dominated Jacksonville and
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: lost on some crazy plays. They've outgained their opponents by
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: one hundred and thirty yards average over their last six
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: Remember during that stretch, they beat Detroit by thirteen points,
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: and they beat Baltimore when Baltimore was at full strength
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: by seventeen points. So they're rolling along right now. I
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: think Buffalo's in the better situation. Kamas City's playing their
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: ninth straight week in Buffalo.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: They do have the buy next, and I think Andy
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Reid's record off the bye is great. I have no
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: idea what it is going into the buy. I don't
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: even know if there's a way of track, if anybody
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: tracks that. Kansas City, though in the last two weeks,
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: has outscored the opposition eighty nine to twenty four. Yeah,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: some of those teams run very good, and Washington has
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: been banged up in his very disappointing team this year.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: But still, all right, let's get to some point spread
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: picks for this weekend, and we will very quickly recap
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: an ugly week. Last week, both Paul and I took
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Oregon to beat Wisconsin by thirty two or more. Wisconsin
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: lost by only fourteen. Mike said Mississippi and Oklahoma will
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: go under fifty four and a half. He at least
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: came a little close that came end to thirty four
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: to twenty six. So all three of us lost. That's
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: no good at all. All right, let's get started with
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: this weekend's games. Paul, you go first, Paul says, for
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: the first time, he feels confident. This is despite the
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: fact that Paul's record is one in eighty six or
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: something in that rage. But yeah, Detroit is at it's
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Minnesota is at Detroit, and the line is eight and
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: a half on that, Paul says. He Paul says, he
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: has incredible confidence. I know where he's going to go
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: with this, and there's a problem with the pick. But anyway,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: you're taking Detroit. JJ McCarthy is now the quarterback again.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: He's only been given five shots for this job. Carson
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Wentz is out for the season, so they have to
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: go with JJ McCarthy. Detroit's in a four game winning streak,
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: winning each game by fifteen. They're averaging thirty six points
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: a game. Paul's got all this. What else? They're at
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: home and they're clicking on all cylinders. Minnesot's terrible. They
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: lost by twenty seven points to the Chargers. Now there's
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: a problem with this pick until you just said this.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: This was my pick, and last week when we were
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: on the same pick, it was an absolute trade wreck.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: I have had two games and I'm just going back
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: and forth and wrestling on and I'm now going to
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: take the other game in part Becauyse just you know,
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: create a little variety here. But I agree with Paul
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: on everything that he said. But the last time we agreed,
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: which was last week, we were dead wrong. I think
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: Minnesota is reeling. I don't think I think McCarthy was
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: a wasted first on pick too early, perhaps to write
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: him off. The ground game doesn't exist for the Vikings anymore.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Injuries to running back and given who they have at
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: running back not surprising. And Detroit, you know, detroit'sa Kansas city.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Once you got past the right beginning of the season,
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: they've been really, really, really good, and you know, we
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: saw all those blowouts last week, so I wouldn't. I'm
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: just no longer afraid of laying a lot of points
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: in the NFL. I think Paul's right about that, but
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: I'm not going to use it as my own pick
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: because it was an ugly situation and when we both
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: put big favorites last night. But I think he's right,
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: don't you, Mike.
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: Yeah. I mean the only thing that gets me is
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: the line looks low to me. I mean, it just
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: seems like it should be higher than eight.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: I made the line at fifteen myself, and I like
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: to try to make the line before I see what
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: it is, and fifteen would have been I would guess
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Detroit would win by fifteen points. That's how I come
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: up with that. You're right, it does. See. It does
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: seem low, But maybe that's because the line makers simply
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: haven't caught up to how poor Minnesota is. They weren't
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: expected to be this bad, and they're three and four.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: It's not like they're zero and seven, but they're an
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: ugly looking three and four. Yeah.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: In the quarterback situation, obviously, Wentz played with one arm
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: last week, and they played him when he probably shouldn't
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: have played. And McCarthy, like I said, he's had one
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: good quarter, one good half, let's say the entire season.
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: The second half against Chicago is actually the fourth quarter. Mainly,
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: other than that, he's been bad troited off a bye.
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: Campbell with the best spread record. I don't disagree with
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: that pick at all.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Paul's right, Let's go to Let's go
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: to Mike in where are we going to go for
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: our pick?
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: Let's check the Monday night Arizona Dallas. I need the
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: total on that game.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: That total must be eight hundred fifty four and a half.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Arizona has a bit of a defense. Dallas's defense occasionally looks. Okay.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: The Dallas offense wasn't that great last week, but fifty
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: four and a half. My guess is most people are
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: betting the game, are betting over. Are you going to
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: be a contraryan and say under it? Do you want
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: to hear about another line?
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: No, I'm going to go over in that game?
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Over you.
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: You can't go under in Dallas games right now. I
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: don't think the odds makers can set it high enough.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: I mean, they're not going to make it fifty seven
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: to fifty eight, which is probably where it should be.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: Dallas games are averaging.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: I mean, they played Denver last week and Denver has
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: a go defense, and the total points was sixty eight points.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: In that game, they gave up forty four to Denver,
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: but they also scored twenty four on Denver's very good defense.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: The week before that was watched his forty four to
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: twenty two. That was sixty six points the week before that.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: Carolina at twenty seven to thirty, that was fifty seven
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: points the week before that. The Jets, who's they're always
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: in low scoring games, thirty seven to twenty two. So
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: you're right, Dallas keeps going over, and they're going over
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: against other teams that aren't like them. Great offense, bad defense.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: Yeah, and they're they're averaging forty one points per game.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: It's home. They've scored forty or more in every home
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: game this year. They've got the best offense in the
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: league we talked about this last week, and the worst defense.
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: And on top of having the worst defense, they got
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: multiple injuries on defense. Right now. Their offense is scoring
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: points on almost sixty percent of their drives at home
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: this year, which is by far the best in the NFL,
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: but their defense is allowing points on almost thirty five
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: percent of opponent possessions, which is worse than the NFL.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: Arizona's actually been pretty good offense. I'm hoping Brissetts the
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: quarterback here. They've played pretty well the last couple games.
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: Murray may be back, but I think it goes over
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: either way.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, lying on that game is only two and
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: a half. I would have thought Dallas may be favored
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: by more. But you know, the Cowboys are a hard
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: team to get a feel for because as great as
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: the offense is, that's how bad their defense is. I'm
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: going to go to a game in college football, and
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: as I said, I was probably going to take the
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: pick that Paul took. But there's a game in college
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: football that I like a lot. One of the teams
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: that's really emerged this year is Texas Tech, and it's
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: a controversial team because the team is bankrolled with massive
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: nil money. They're seven and one and they're playing at
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Kansas State and they're favored by seven and a half,
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: and I'm taking Kansas State. Texas Tech has played only
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: two road games all year. One of them was their
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: one loss when they lost to Arizona State. Kansas State
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: was thought to be a very good team this year,
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: and they started really slowly, but they've gotten hot. They
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: outgained Baylor in a game in which they lost the game,
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: and they played their arch rival Kansas last week. Kansas
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: isn't terrible and they beat them by twenty five points.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: The quarterback situation. Texas Tech's quarterback is banged up and
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: may or may not play. The backup got knocked out
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: altogether last week. They did go to the third stringer,
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: who is admittedly a former starter in college football, and
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: he played much of the game last week, but their
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: quarterback situation is shaky in the meantime. I really like
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: Kansas State's quarterback. They have a quarterback named Avery Johnson,
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: no relation to the old basketball coach. He's got fifteen
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: touchdown passes and only two interceptions, and I think that
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: they're an improving team. And I swear you go back
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: forty years with Kansas State, and I know this is
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: through multiple coaches, but I just remember that Bill Snyder
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: when he was there at Kansas State as a home
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: underdog was deadly. They covered all the time, and it
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: seems to be continuing with the coach that they have
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: over there right now. I think Kansas State can win
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: the game and knock off Texas Tech and seven and
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: a half half that's a pretty good number there. So
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: I'm on Kansas State to cover the point spread getting
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: seven and a half against Texas Tech. What do you think?
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I know Kansas State's playing really well right now.
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: They struggled early in the season and now they're rolling.
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: They only lost in their last four games was at
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: Baylor by one, and they led that game by fourteen
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: in the game and they all gained him, right, Yeah,
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: they out gained them in that game. I agree with
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: you on texts quarterback situation. It looks like mort and
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: their starter is going to be back, but he's injury
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: prone on and off. Their second stringers out out, and
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: their third stringers. Okay, I don't disagree. I'm a little worried.
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: Texas Tech has been really, really good, but they seem
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: to be coming back to earth a little bit. Like
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: you said, they lost at Arizona State a few weeks
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: ago with their backup, and they played Oklahoma State last week.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: It's horrendous. I don't disagree. If you're getting over seven,
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: i'd probably in Kansas State.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean Kansas State opened the season they lost
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: to Iowa State and they managed to barely beat North
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Dakota and lost the Army.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: No.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: Wait, there are a couple of teams that are unbeaten
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: this year that I think there isn't anybody in America
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: knows that they're on there's hardly any unbeaten teams left,
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: but somehow Navy is unbeaten. I mean, Mike knows that
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: because he knows everything, but I unless you actually looked
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: at everybody's record, I just think that nobody would be
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: aware that Navy is unbeaten. A lot of this is
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: you know who you play and who you don't play
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: and Army. In the meantime, they're three and four. They
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: look great one week and terrible the other. Kansas State, though,
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: is understandable. I just think they started slow, and they're
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: a hot team, and the line hasn't caught up here,
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: and I can see them pulling off the upset in
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: the same way that Arizona State upset Texas Tech when
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: they went down. There one other game that I do
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: want to throw out, and I was thinking about until
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: the line. It was three and a half points at
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: the beginning of the week, and I love the game.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: But now it's moved on to two and a half,
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: and that's more than a one point jump. It moved
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: to the other side of the three, and that's Jacksonville
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: is at the Raiders, and the Raiders are two and
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: a half point underdogs. Now I think Raiders are going
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: to win the game straight up. But when it was
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: three and a half, I liked it a lot more.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: I don't think Jacksonville's as good as their record would indicate.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: All right, let's recap everybody's picks here, Paul's I just
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: I don't disagree with Paul's pick at all if I
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: was ready to take it. Paul says the Lions to
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: win by nine or more. Of the vikings. The only
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: downside is it is a big number, and so on.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Mike says, Dallas and Arizona go over fifty four and
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: a half. Dallas goes over every week, so hopefully it'll again.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: And I'm taking an underdog Kansas State to either win
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: or lose by seven or less at home to Texas Tech.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: If you want to check out what Mike and his
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: company have to offer, ASA wins dot Com. Out of
