- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the bluele Cat Podcast bluele Cats Show Special guest
- 0:04Speaker 1: tink you very talented, Thank you, thank you so much
- 0:09Speaker 1: historically uh leveled talented person, Like the levels of talent
- 0:12Speaker 1: you possess is historic. Thank you. No, I really appreciate that. Yeah.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I think it's been dope to just kind of witness
- 0:19Speaker 1: like the last few years the run you've been going
- 0:22Speaker 1: on doing it independently. Yes, sir, I've been a fanny
- 0:26Speaker 1: for a very long time. So it's good to see you. No,
- 0:28Speaker 1: thank you. I mean a lot, Like you said, three
- 0:31Speaker 1: years i've been independent. It's a different vibe, different energy. Yeah, Like,
- 0:35Speaker 1: how do you because you've kind of been through the
- 0:37Speaker 1: ring or if you will, you've had like a long
- 0:40Speaker 1: journey throughout the music industry, right, You've been on the
- 0:42Speaker 1: major label side. You've been working with guys like Timbolin,
- 0:45Speaker 1: guys like this guy over here who has a bad
- 0:47Speaker 1: cigarette smoking problem. AKA. But like for you, like, how
- 0:54Speaker 1: how does it feel to kind of like have a
- 0:57Speaker 1: little bit more freedom now? And it feels like you're
- 0:59Speaker 1: doing a lot of stuff on your terms now. Yeah,
- 1:01Speaker 1: that's what makes it fun. To be honest, it feels
- 1:04Speaker 1: like I'm just being myself now. Yeah, when I was
- 1:08Speaker 1: first like in the industry or in the game, it
- 1:10Speaker 1: was a lot of labelheads over my situation. So you know,
- 1:14Speaker 1: I'm just getting back to myself and really you know,
- 1:16Speaker 1: being authentic again. Yeah. With the music, I'm able to
- 1:19Speaker 1: say what I want to say, you know, work with
- 1:21Speaker 1: who I want to work with. Yeah, it's just that freedom.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Yeah for you, Like I feel like when you first
- 1:27Speaker 1: came out, too, there was like kind of it was
- 1:28Speaker 1: kind of like a weird time to be like a
- 1:29Speaker 1: female artist who does like hip hop, slash, R and B.
- 1:32Speaker 1: You're kind of like a hybrid artist, right, And now
- 1:36Speaker 1: I just feel like it's all lining up for you.
- 1:38Speaker 1: How do you feel about just kind of the landscape
- 1:40Speaker 1: of music in twenty twenty three as opposed to when
- 1:43Speaker 1: you first came in. Obviously the industry's changed a lot.
- 1:46Speaker 1: You know, Yes, I feel like it's it's more accepted.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Like you say, back then, it was kind of I
- 1:54Speaker 1: was like the I don't want to say, the only
- 1:57Speaker 1: one doing it, but it was rare to hear like
- 1:59Speaker 1: a rapper. You might have been the only one doing it, right,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I hate to say it like that, but maybe she
- 2:05Speaker 1: was a female like Lauren Hill. Yeah, so like in
- 2:08Speaker 1: my generation, I was the only one doing it, so
- 2:10Speaker 1: it was you know, it was it took me a
- 2:12Speaker 1: minute to really you know, just put put it out there.
- 2:16Speaker 1: But now it's honestly, I feel like the game is
- 2:19Speaker 1: just more accepting. Yeah, you know, we got like artists
- 2:22Speaker 1: that are doing like rock and rap. You know, I
- 2:24Speaker 1: feel like the music, the genres are blending together more
- 2:28Speaker 1: and it's I think it's resulting in better music too, exactly.
- 2:31Speaker 1: People are free. Yeah, so yeah, I think, uh, you know,
- 2:35Speaker 1: I've always just done me. I've never really put a box,
- 2:38Speaker 1: put myself in a box, right, But yeah, it's working.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It's working out for sure. You've had some dope records too.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Thank you. I'm glad you brought up the rap. I
- 2:46Speaker 1: think people forget that I can really wrap. You could
- 2:48Speaker 1: rap rap? Yeah, I can really rap. I mean you've
- 2:51Speaker 1: been on your R and B tip like some real
- 2:53Speaker 1: ill R and B ship, but you're you can rap.
- 2:56Speaker 1: That's I mean, I don't. That's what got me as
- 2:58Speaker 1: a fan, was like, oh this call she could bar out,
- 3:01Speaker 1: but she also dish. But what's so crazy? Rap is
- 3:04Speaker 1: like so hard to really for me, it's really hard
- 3:06Speaker 1: to like kick down a door and rap right like
- 3:09Speaker 1: the female the female rappers. You know, it's just a
- 3:11Speaker 1: different ball game. I feel like R and B people
- 3:14Speaker 1: are more like receptive to my R and B songs.
- 3:16Speaker 1: When you first came out, what year was it like
- 3:19Speaker 1: on a major label? Twenty fifteen, So twenty fifteen. The
- 3:23Speaker 1: landscape of being a female rapper quote unquote, it's way different,
- 3:27Speaker 1: way different. It was really like Nikki Yep and then
- 3:32Speaker 1: Queen Nick and yeah, shout out to Nikki. And then
- 3:34Speaker 1: there was twenty fifteen. It wasn't a lot of female rappers. Daje,
- 3:39Speaker 1: daj Love, she was like twenty fourteen, you know, but yeah,
- 3:42Speaker 1: it was definitely tough because and it kind of there
- 3:45Speaker 1: was like this female renaissance if you will, around twenty
- 3:49Speaker 1: seventeen twenty eighteen, where it was like, and I look
- 3:52Speaker 1: at music currently, specifically hip hop, there's like a lack
- 3:57Speaker 1: of real records in rapper right now. Like if you
- 4:01Speaker 1: really think about like what has been the smash this
- 4:05Speaker 1: year that you go to the club and it's like automatic,
- 4:08Speaker 1: like there's ship to play, for sure, there's ship to play,
- 4:11Speaker 1: But the days I just there's not like like these
- 4:15Speaker 1: dudes ain't making anthems no more at all. Now Glorilla
- 4:19Speaker 1: is making a fucking anthem, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I love like Megan's making real records, you know what
- 4:25Speaker 1: I mean? Shit Coiler Ray the Players record is a dope.
- 4:29Speaker 1: That's a hit. It's a hit, you know what I mean.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I just feel like dudes are just like kind of
- 4:32Speaker 1: like women are taking over. To be honest, I hear
- 4:36Speaker 1: more of the girls rapping than I do the guys,
- 4:38Speaker 1: and they're making just better songs absolutely, and we know
- 4:42Speaker 1: our audience too, like you know, women are speaking for women.
- 4:45Speaker 1: So yeah, you know, do you feel like you should
- 4:48Speaker 1: have got nominated for a Grammy? Uh? I don't want
- 4:52Speaker 1: to say that now. I think you know, I'm really
- 4:55Speaker 1: hard on myself. I'm a hard critic, So I got
- 4:57Speaker 1: a lot of work to put in still right, and
- 5:00Speaker 1: like I say, I'm really just getting my foot in
- 5:03Speaker 1: that door again. Yeah, so with time, and I don't
- 5:07Speaker 1: really make music to like be nominated nowhere. I feel like,
- 5:10Speaker 1: you know, if it happens to happen, happens, it happens,
- 5:12Speaker 1: and I'm grateful, but you know that's not like the
- 5:16Speaker 1: end all for sure. Like I said, so many artists
- 5:19Speaker 1: that never really got there. Yeah, got their Grammy or
- 5:22Speaker 1: got their awards, but I mean not barely. Just won
- 5:25Speaker 1: the Grammy last year and it was like twenty twenty
- 5:28Speaker 1: five years later after he's deserve Yeah, it's crazy. Yeah no,
- 5:33Speaker 1: So yeah, this new album is well, first of all,
- 5:37Speaker 1: explain the title. So my new album is called Thanks
- 5:40Speaker 1: for Nothing, and it's going to be released in February.
- 5:44Speaker 1: And I really wanted to make a project that was
- 5:46Speaker 1: like geared towards the women, of course, but Valentine's Day
- 5:50Speaker 1: is coming up, and you know me, I'm always speaking
- 5:53Speaker 1: for my ladies. Yep. I'm always talking about heartbreaks and
- 5:57Speaker 1: relationship issues, and that's like my So I was like,
- 6:01Speaker 1: it's perfect time. Thanks for Nothing, it's the album. Is
- 6:04Speaker 1: that what you tell like X, That's what I tell
- 6:06Speaker 1: my ex. Get you go through a breakup, it's like,
- 6:08Speaker 1: thanks for nothing, thanks for wasting my fucking wasting my time.
- 6:11Speaker 1: That's it, you know, thanks for nothing. Is that the
- 6:13Speaker 1: hardest part about going through a bad breakup where it's
- 6:15Speaker 1: like I just wasted like some prime real estate in
- 6:18Speaker 1: my life with this fucking guy. Of course, that's the
- 6:21Speaker 1: that's the worst part about it. You can't get time back,
- 6:23Speaker 1: but you can get lessons from it. True, that's the upside.
- 6:27Speaker 1: You know you always learn, Yeah, learn from everything. But
- 6:31Speaker 1: I like how you said that though. It's like, man,
- 6:34Speaker 1: it took my time and wasted it. That's true because
- 6:38Speaker 1: you're in your twenties early thirties, Like you're like, yo,
- 6:40Speaker 1: like this is the prime of my life. Yeah, don't
- 6:43Speaker 1: take that lightly, don't waste my exactly, and I'm twenty seven,
- 6:47Speaker 1: so like it is like that prime you know that age, right,
- 6:52Speaker 1: you know your Yeah, but you know we don't have
- 6:57Speaker 1: no more time to waste. So you and a mister
- 7:00Speaker 1: Berg a hit maker? How many times platinum? One hundred
- 7:03Speaker 1: millions of I mean, where are we at berg over there?
- 7:06Speaker 1: Excuse one hundred and twenty So nonchal disguis crazy, super talented,
- 7:13Speaker 1: got a ear for hit records. How you guys have
- 7:15Speaker 1: been working together for a while now. But in terms
- 7:17Speaker 1: of your guys is cohesion. It's almost like the R
- 7:20Speaker 1: and B version of like DJ Premier and Goou from
- 7:24Speaker 1: Gang Star, or like you guys are like very much
- 7:26Speaker 1: like in sync with each other and putting these records together.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Explain like your guys' relationship and the chemistry there. You
- 7:33Speaker 1: know what's really dope about us working together. Were both
- 7:36Speaker 1: from Chicago, Yes you are, yep. So when I when
- 7:39Speaker 1: I met hit Maker, it was very comfortable. You know,
- 7:43Speaker 1: like I'm an artist where I like to kind of
- 7:44Speaker 1: go on the studio alone and you know, I like
- 7:47Speaker 1: to just kind of be free and have the room
- 7:49Speaker 1: to myself. Right when he came in, it was easy
- 7:52Speaker 1: to work with him. I didn't feel like bombarded. It
- 7:54Speaker 1: wasn't like, you know, singing like this, do this. A
- 7:58Speaker 1: lot of producers are pushy, right, and it's not like that.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Why and he understands me too, Like we're from the shat,
- 8:04Speaker 1: so he get my lingo. You know, he understand my language.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So it just made it really easy. Yeah, I feel
- 8:11Speaker 1: like you guys, are any of your guys like because
- 8:13Speaker 1: he is? He did he did the whole album. Yeah,
- 8:15Speaker 1: the whole album. Executive produced the whole album. Wow. So
- 8:19Speaker 1: so that's major, you know what I mean? Like, like
- 8:21Speaker 1: you say, one hundred and twenty million, it's a long
- 8:24Speaker 1: a billion, close to a billion, thirteen billion streams. Yeah,
- 8:30Speaker 1: that's major. It's a lot, you know. Yeah, super slept
- 8:34Speaker 1: on guy over there sitting on the on the rug
- 8:35Speaker 1: over there. We need more chairs by the way, Sorry, guys,
- 8:37Speaker 1: it's the first day of the new place. We need
- 8:38Speaker 1: more chairs. It's obvious. Yeah, congrats, it's really nice. Yeah,
- 8:42Speaker 1: the front building is where it's at. But nah, we're here,
- 8:45Speaker 1: uh for you? Is there any features on this album?
- 8:47Speaker 1: So I have one feature, very very very special feature.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Should I give away the surprise? Guys? So Ti dollar
- 8:55Speaker 1: sign is on his album sign? Yes, listen, that's like
- 9:00Speaker 1: legendary for me. I really really, you know, just always
- 9:04Speaker 1: have been a great fan of Alien. That's hie. He's
- 9:07Speaker 1: just so good. He's just like he's like a cheat code.
- 9:09Speaker 1: For sure. It's a cheat cheat code, but on our record,
- 9:12Speaker 1: we're going back and forth, so it's a real real record.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Did you ever think that Tye and Berg look like
- 9:18Speaker 1: they could be kin to each other in some capacity?
- 9:21Speaker 1: Like if grew out dreadlocks, like it's the eyes, he
- 9:25Speaker 1: might be able to have a second career as a
- 9:27Speaker 1: title sie stand in You know what I mean? You've
- 9:31Speaker 1: heard that before? Burg or am I being? Am I
- 9:35Speaker 1: being like ten percent racist? Right now? Like? Yo? For sure?
- 9:44Speaker 1: The iced tea thing? Okay, Yeah, yeah, iced t no
- 9:46Speaker 1: iced tea son. No, he is iced tea son. That's
- 9:52Speaker 1: Iceberg right there, for sure. There it is. What's up, guys, Hey,
- 9:55Speaker 1: shout out to our family at blue Choo. Man, listen,
- 9:58Speaker 1: I know we always are getting feedback about our blue
- 10:01Speaker 1: Choo interviews. They're not interviews, yeah, they're commercials, and we're
- 10:07Speaker 1: always getting feedback about them. Usually it's they're fucking hilarious. Man.

- 10:14Speaker 1: But let me say this shit works. A lot of

- 13:28Speaker 1: love me some scissor. Yes, all females on the Mount Rushmore. Yeah,
- 13:34Speaker 1: yeah for sure. Not the other guy from Chicago who's
- 13:36Speaker 1: a legend, but you know, not the best person. Who's
- 13:38Speaker 1: that Robert Kelly? You say his name? Now? I gotta
- 13:45Speaker 1: rus for the ladies. I feel like that's why I
- 13:47Speaker 1: really lean on. I want to credible. You love so os.
- 13:50Speaker 1: That's a great album. Yes, yeah, she did her ship,
- 13:53Speaker 1: you know, and says is like a pioneer. She's like
- 13:55Speaker 1: in her own laying her own world. Yeah. So yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 1: she inspired me a lot. You know what it is too,
- 14:02Speaker 1: It's like, you know, you're an amazing female R and
- 14:04Speaker 1: B artist when you can get like a dude to
- 14:07Speaker 1: like appreciate and this is true because you're you're you're
- 14:10Speaker 1: the same type of artists where you can like because
- 14:12Speaker 1: there's a lot of female R and B for me
- 14:14Speaker 1: that like, well, this is not I can't relate to this.
- 14:18Speaker 1: It's like, you know, I'm not a scorned woman. But
- 14:23Speaker 1: then when I be hearing your ship or I'll be
- 14:24Speaker 1: hearing scissors shit, I'm just in like yeah, and that's
- 14:27Speaker 1: that's the beauty of it. But what's so crazy? I
- 14:29Speaker 1: feel like a lot of guys are they get like
- 14:32Speaker 1: upset behind my music because I kind of keep it
- 14:35Speaker 1: too real and too honest. So I'm glad to have
- 14:37Speaker 1: your support, you know what I mean As a guy, Yeah,
- 14:40Speaker 1: a lot of guys I see it all the time,
- 14:42Speaker 1: like man, you know, my lady's mad at me because
- 14:44Speaker 1: of you, or you got me in trouble. You know
- 14:47Speaker 1: I would, okay, give me like a song lyric that
- 14:49Speaker 1: might've got a guy in trouble that Dave got a
- 14:51Speaker 1: record don't tell nobody with Jeremiah. So that's like dropped
- 14:56Speaker 1: it a long time ago, but to this day goes crazy,
- 15:00Speaker 1: like way the guy is cheating keeping on the DL ship.
- 15:03Speaker 1: You tell you with the bros and you out with
- 15:05Speaker 1: a bitch. Oh yeah, say you're at the crib and
- 15:07Speaker 1: you leaving her place, pull up to the crib nigga
- 15:10Speaker 1: line my face. Wow. So just real ship like that.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I I love to come round and like same way
- 15:15Speaker 1: the guys rapping like they drop bombs and shit. That's
- 15:18Speaker 1: how I'm coming for the women. I love it. So yeah,
- 15:21Speaker 1: I'm glad to have some support from the males. Might
- 15:27Speaker 1: have forgot about. Oh shit, how could I overlook? So
- 15:31Speaker 1: the last record we just wrapped it. That's why there's
- 15:33Speaker 1: another feature with Young Blue and it's called Stingy. Amazing record.
- 15:39Speaker 1: You know, working with Blue is so, you know, so easy.
- 15:42Speaker 1: He's got a super dope tone too, very unique. Come on,
- 15:48Speaker 1: So Stingy is dropping really soon. It's gonna be on
- 15:50Speaker 1: radio as well, produced by your maker and it's a vibe.
- 15:53Speaker 1: You know. Were you guys in the studio together for
- 15:55Speaker 1: that one, No, we weren't. He actually uh sent it
- 15:59Speaker 1: to me and we kind of just went back and
- 16:02Speaker 1: forth with it until it was right for you. Like,
- 16:04Speaker 1: what is your like writing process? Because obviously being able
- 16:08Speaker 1: to rap, being able to like do the lyrical shit,
- 16:12Speaker 1: but also being able to like write songs, like, are
- 16:15Speaker 1: you open to input, like when it comes to like
- 16:17Speaker 1: top lines or hooks or shit like that, because obviously
- 16:20Speaker 1: you're in the studio with Berg. Berg is obviously a
- 16:23Speaker 1: great songwriter. Yeah, because I'm open now. I used to
- 16:27Speaker 1: be really really like, you know, I kept my music
- 16:30Speaker 1: really to myself. I'd write it at home and go
- 16:33Speaker 1: to the studio cut it by myself. You know, nobody
- 16:35Speaker 1: would hear my shit until it kind of was about
- 16:38Speaker 1: to release. But now working with it, he kind of
- 16:41Speaker 1: introduced me to working with other writers. You know, He'll
- 16:44Speaker 1: he'll have the studio open and it'll be like ten
- 16:46Speaker 1: people in the booth at once. So I think it's
- 16:50Speaker 1: good in the industry. Honestly, everybody's taking taking you know. Yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 1: if you've been in like an actual studio session, you
- 16:58Speaker 1: kind of know what it is. It's like it's like
- 17:00Speaker 1: a bunch of it's just a free flowing flow of ideas. Yeah,
- 17:03Speaker 1: and we get a lot of shit done quicker. Like
- 17:05Speaker 1: it could be the engineer given ideas to exactly and
- 17:08Speaker 1: for some reason they never get any credit. Shout out
- 17:10Speaker 1: to the engineers, yeah, shout out to source. You know,
- 17:14Speaker 1: sources engineering my last album. So we've been working really
- 17:18Speaker 1: really hard. But yeah, everybody has like a input into
- 17:24Speaker 1: the ship now, so you know we're coming harder. What
- 17:27Speaker 1: is uh? So the Grammys just got wrapped up? Uh
- 17:32Speaker 1: Harry Styles when I'm in here. But for you, what
- 17:35Speaker 1: was your favorite album? Okay? I don't even want to
- 17:38Speaker 1: go Grammy cycle because it's a little confusing to remember
- 17:40Speaker 1: what came out from September to September. But what was
- 17:42Speaker 1: your favorite album last year? My favorite album last year?
- 17:46Speaker 1: I like underground like artists, not even underground, but like
- 17:49Speaker 1: Brent Fire's. Brent Fire's album is crazy toxic. I played
- 17:53Speaker 1: that ship out, very toxic, toxic album. I love it, Yes,
- 17:57Speaker 1: So for me that was my top album, you know,
- 18:01Speaker 1: and I don't mean to say underground, but I love
- 18:03Speaker 1: like you know, people that aren't may not be on
- 18:06Speaker 1: a radio twenty four to seven, so those are He's
- 18:09Speaker 1: a beast. His band is crazy too, super crazy paining.
- 18:12Speaker 1: What about on the hip hop side? Hip hop side? Man,
- 18:19Speaker 1: it might have been a light year for REP. I
- 18:22Speaker 1: mean there was some good ship. There was like a
- 18:25Speaker 1: Kendrick Pusher te okay, okay, okay, what else was dope Blast?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Year Future Okay, future, damn near R and B artist
- 18:33Speaker 1: now like wait for You, It is like a brilliant
- 18:35Speaker 1: R and B record. I feel you, But yeah, I'm
- 18:39Speaker 1: still locked in with R and B. I guess I
- 18:40Speaker 1: didn't really turn into much much better on that R
- 18:42Speaker 1: and B shit. Yeah, I've been going through it. So Okay,
- 18:46Speaker 1: the guy who won Best R and B Album that
- 18:48Speaker 1: Chris Brown did not know who he was? Did you
- 18:51Speaker 1: know who he was? I didn't know who he was
- 18:53Speaker 1: at all? Okay, but you know, did you some someone knows?
- 18:59Speaker 1: Though some one knows. Yeah, but I do feel like
- 19:03Speaker 1: Chris deserved he deserves Listen. I think Chris Brown is
- 19:09Speaker 1: probably him or Jamie Fox in terms of just talent
- 19:13Speaker 1: in one body, the most talented motherfuckers in the world,
- 19:18Speaker 1: because like, Chris Brown can dance, he can sing, he
- 19:21Speaker 1: can pay an entertainer, he could fucking uh, he could
- 19:25Speaker 1: play basketball. I just mean talent, I'm not even tomorrow,
- 19:28Speaker 1: just everything. And then you got Jamie Fox. You could
- 19:30Speaker 1: do stand up, he can act, he can that's crazy.
- 19:33Speaker 1: He is a comedian as well. Those two are like
- 19:35Speaker 1: the two unicorns. If we're just talking about raw talent,
- 19:38Speaker 1: Chris Brown's like I feel like I feel like sometimes
- 19:41Speaker 1: we don't appreciate Chris enough. Absolutely, I do feel like
- 19:44Speaker 1: he's like the closest we have to Mike. He's our Mike.
- 19:48Speaker 1: He's our Mike for sure. So yeah, to see somebody
- 19:51Speaker 1: else win like that, it did break break our hearts.
- 19:54Speaker 1: You know, I felt I felt Chris on it because
- 19:57Speaker 1: Chris Brown's almost hard it was. I mean, look, I
- 19:59Speaker 1: don't even like the other guy. I didn't listen to
- 20:01Speaker 1: his album, so it could be better. And that's the thing.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I hadn't heard of it. I didn't listen to Harry
- 20:06Speaker 1: Style's album. That's lot of Grammys. You know, we gotta
- 20:08Speaker 1: be careful giving, you know, give any award shows too much. Well,
- 20:12Speaker 1: you know what they did this year. They realized nobody
- 20:14Speaker 1: was watching, so they just made that ship hip hop
- 20:17Speaker 1: as fuck, right. I heard they had a hip hop tribute.
- 20:20Speaker 1: It was not just that, it was like the whole
- 20:23Speaker 1: show ended with like jay Z wrapping out of the
- 20:26Speaker 1: Last Supper when DJ Khalad and Little Baby did freestyle
- 20:30Speaker 1: at the Grammys. This is amazing. It was amazing. Well,
- 20:33Speaker 1: I'm glad to hear that. Though we do need more,
- 20:36Speaker 1: you know, just more involvement. I don't want to suck
- 20:39Speaker 1: up his name. I think it's Jesse Collins, the guy
- 20:41Speaker 1: who produced the Grammys, but he's the guy who always
- 20:43Speaker 1: does to be who's been doing the BT wars the
- 20:45Speaker 1: last few years. So they had to kind of tap
- 20:46Speaker 1: in because and then people were talking about the Grammys
- 20:49Speaker 1: in a positive way this year. Yeah, but that's the thing,
- 20:52Speaker 1: you know. Rap really influences everything. So you know, if
- 20:55Speaker 1: you want people to tune in, you gotta you gotta
- 20:57Speaker 1: balance it out. Yeah, for sure. Have you been able
- 21:00Speaker 1: to link with like someone like Scizzy who you're a
- 21:03Speaker 1: fan of, or like any of the other any of
- 21:04Speaker 1: your you know, because there's a lot of people who
- 21:06Speaker 1: are doing their thing that have come out kind of
- 21:09Speaker 1: after you, like a girl like Doja cad or Sure.
- 21:12Speaker 1: You know. So Miya says that we haven't met, but
- 21:15Speaker 1: she always shows love on like socials and yeah, she's
- 21:18Speaker 1: always supporting you know when I drop, So it's love there.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I can't wait to run into her. Yeah, you know,
- 21:24Speaker 1: so I can, like, you know, since we gotta go
- 21:26Speaker 1: to the studio, got to got to that'd be legendary. Yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 1: that's not a dream. Collapse is a you know she's Pioneer.
- 21:33Speaker 1: What's up, y'all, bootlet keV here. Hey look my bookie. Man,
- 21:36Speaker 1: it's a big weekend in sports. The big game is

- 21:44Speaker 1: I like Jalen Hurts, over on the passing yards, over
- 21:47Speaker 1: on the rushing yards. Anytime touchdown score, give me Dallas Goddter.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Anytime touchdown score, give me the over. And if anyone
- 21:55Speaker 1: on the Chiefs is going to score, I like that
- 21:56Speaker 1: Pacheco kid. I like the little running back guy. And
- 21:58Speaker 1: of course you got to hand or Travis Kelce anytime
- 22:01Speaker 1: touchdown score. You could do all that at my bookie

- 22:46Speaker 1: it's a big weekend. Also, I just wanted to like
- 22:47Speaker 1: to point out everyone should be putting some of that money,

- 23:08Speaker 1: best place I've ever been to in terms of dispensaries.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I've been to probably hundreds of these things, and the
- 23:15Speaker 1: experience at Hardan is like nowhere else. The customer service,
- 23:20Speaker 1: the selection of premium cannabis, the experience as a customer
- 23:24Speaker 1: that you get when you walk into the building in
- 23:26Speaker 1: Las Vegas is bar none the best. It's just the best, man,
- 23:30Speaker 1: they are the best. We got so much going on
- 23:32Speaker 1: this weekend. They're sponsoring the Rolling Stone Party on Friday,
- 23:35Speaker 1: Super Bowl Weekend, Fabulous Thursday, Offset Friday, Meek Saturday. It's
- 23:40Speaker 1: a lot going on with hard Dean. You gotta follow
- 23:42Speaker 1: him at Hardean Underscore Las Vegas right now. Shoot them
- 23:45Speaker 1: a follow on Instagram while you're at it, Go to
- 23:47Speaker 1: the website at Hardeinlasvegas dot com. So much fly gear,
- 23:51Speaker 1: so much flyweed. What are we talking about? Baby? Shout
- 23:53Speaker 1: out to Hardean. Man, that's the family. Man. Go if
- 23:56Speaker 1: you're in Vegas, pull up on them man, Hardean, Las Vegas. Yeah,
- 23:59Speaker 1: how do you feel about because obviously Chicago has is
- 24:03Speaker 1: probably man Chicago. If we just think about like the
- 24:07Speaker 1: history of hip hop that's come out of Chicago, it's
- 24:09Speaker 1: very diverse. It's vast, I mean, in my opinion. Yeah,
- 24:13Speaker 1: you know, Kanye's probably got the best discography ever. And
- 24:16Speaker 1: then you got like the new shit, which is like
- 24:18Speaker 1: you know, obviously shout out to Dirk and those guys,
- 24:21Speaker 1: Polo Gi everybody, but like is there anybody in Chicago
- 24:24Speaker 1: that you're you're checking for that maybe we haven't heard
- 24:27Speaker 1: of yet. Ah, that's a great question. You know, we
- 24:31Speaker 1: have a few singers that are really doing that thing.
- 24:34Speaker 1: John Doe is dope. There's a singer Santa and Marie.
- 24:41Speaker 1: But you know what, we really had our big run
- 24:43Speaker 1: in like twenty twelve when Keith and We're going crazy.
- 24:47Speaker 1: It was it was just different for all of us.
- 24:52Speaker 1: But yeah, Chicago, we've got very talented. I think we
- 24:54Speaker 1: get a lot of flat because like the violence and
- 24:56Speaker 1: shit or like you know, just because our nature. But yeah,
- 25:00Speaker 1: I mean listen a lot. I mean you know that
- 25:03Speaker 1: is that there is something to be said that we
- 25:04Speaker 1: think at Chicago's it goes straight to you know, the
- 25:07Speaker 1: shootings and killings. Yeah, sometimes I think that over overrides
- 25:12Speaker 1: like you know, talented sh we got going also just
- 25:15Speaker 1: the city in general, because like I know, it's not
- 25:17Speaker 1: like like I think when a lot of people think
- 25:19Speaker 1: of Chicago, they think it's like bad everywhere, and it's
- 25:24Speaker 1: like a great city, just a great city. And then
- 25:27Speaker 1: on top of that though, like you know, people coming
- 25:29Speaker 1: out of Chicago, we aren't evil people or you know,
- 25:32Speaker 1: we got great. You know, we do great things in
- 25:34Speaker 1: the city as well. How do you deal with like
- 25:36Speaker 1: nine degree weather? I'm just curious, like, what do you do?
- 25:38Speaker 1: Do you just stay inside? O? Yeah? We got like
- 25:41Speaker 1: you have to layer up. I can't tell you how
- 25:43Speaker 1: many coats and scarves and ship like that I have. Crazy,
- 25:47Speaker 1: would you like I just wouldn't leave. I'm uber eating
- 25:51Speaker 1: everything exactly, Ober eas deliver everything. No, But for me though,
- 25:55Speaker 1: I think you know, we're used to it, Like we
- 25:58Speaker 1: grew up in and we walked to school and cold
- 26:00Speaker 1: like that. So Jesus, I guess it's like accustomed to
- 26:04Speaker 1: it now. Yeah. Okay, we talked about your Mount Rushmore
- 26:08Speaker 1: R and B. What about a shy town. Oh that's good.
- 26:13Speaker 1: We gotta have yeah, of course, jesus. Mm hmm. That's
- 26:22Speaker 1: deep because we got like all like classical rappers, but
- 26:25Speaker 1: then we also got like the new generation. Like there's
- 26:28Speaker 1: two spots that should not be disputed. It should be
- 26:30Speaker 1: Kanye in Chief Keith. Keith has to be because I
- 26:33Speaker 1: think Chief Keep is one of the most influential artists
- 26:35Speaker 1: him both of them, but Derkio is also going crazy exactly.
- 26:40Speaker 1: It's so hard. You know, we got different vibes like
- 26:43Speaker 1: everybody is a goat in their own right. And that's
- 26:46Speaker 1: the thing about Chicago. Fill out too much. No, it's okay.
- 26:50Speaker 1: We got Kanye and I would have to put comedy
- 26:53Speaker 1: in like lyrics. Lyrically, one of the greatest MC's to
- 26:57Speaker 1: ever live is okay, Chief Keeth. So we got three
- 27:00Speaker 1: and it is one more. Can I get a spot
- 27:04Speaker 1: on the mountain, you know for the ladies ship? Yeah,
- 27:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna go up to Hey, shout out to Chicago
- 27:10Speaker 1: amazing female artists too. Shout out to Shauna. Shauna, Come on, No,
- 27:14Speaker 1: that's big sis. What's so crazy? Man? Life is just
- 27:18Speaker 1: like crazy had a relationship too? Oh really Yeah, I
- 27:24Speaker 1: feel like they grew up next to each other neighbors. Yeah,
- 27:27Speaker 1: so that's big sys to me as well. So shout
- 27:30Speaker 1: out to Shauna. Dreezy is from Chicago. Yeah, you know,
- 27:33Speaker 1: another dope rapper and she's hard how hip boys fire?
- 27:37Speaker 1: Hey girl, that's my point. You know, we got a
- 27:40Speaker 1: lot of talent for sure. Chicago's want to do you? Yo? Listen,
- 27:43Speaker 1: do you remember crucial conflict I do of course? Or
- 27:48Speaker 1: do do or die? Do or die? Twist man speeding
- 27:53Speaker 1: up mobsters Twister was a for a second in my life,
- 27:58Speaker 1: Twist and Do or Die was like that Heads or
- 28:04Speaker 1: Tails album, or there was an album or the penny
- 28:05Speaker 1: on it. Oh my god, fucking perfect album. Damn. And
- 28:10Speaker 1: then crucial conflict was beefing with bum Thugs and Harmony
- 28:12Speaker 1: about who was doing the sing song of fast rap
- 28:14Speaker 1: first Yeah, good times man, the Midwest Rap beef Cleveland, Verus, Chicago.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm old as you can tell. I see well. Listen
- 28:24Speaker 1: the new album Thanks for Nothing, Thanks for Nothing, February
- 28:29Speaker 1: twenty fourth. It's amazing, you know what I mean. Like
- 28:33Speaker 1: I'm coming for the ladies. That's all I do. So
- 28:38Speaker 1: give some ladies out there. You've been through I'm sure
- 28:41Speaker 1: you've been through heartbreaking your life. Give me your advice
- 28:46Speaker 1: to anyone listening that's going through a bad breakup. Yo,
- 28:49Speaker 1: my advice to anyone listening, if you're going through a
- 28:52Speaker 1: bad breakup, I want you to know that it is
- 28:56Speaker 1: not the end of the world. Life goes on and
- 28:59Speaker 1: life gets better. Hm. You know what I mean? Keep
- 29:01Speaker 1: your head up and you deprized, you know, don't forget
- 29:03Speaker 1: that part. Never forget that part. Mm you ever kid
- 29:06Speaker 1: a guy's car I have kiv. I hate to admit that.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I hate to admit it. I key guards I in
- 29:14Speaker 1: the past, when I was younger, I cut a couple
- 29:17Speaker 1: of tires, turp some clothes. I haven't torn clothes, but
- 29:22Speaker 1: I did get get at the car. You got at
- 29:24Speaker 1: the car? Did you break the window? No? I didn't
- 29:26Speaker 1: break the window. But I put him on a flat Damn.
- 29:29Speaker 1: What do you do like? You just get a knife
- 29:31Speaker 1: and just you know, yeah, it was a knife. Wow.
- 29:34Speaker 1: And his car was in the drive. And then I
- 29:38Speaker 1: caught him cheating. You know what, I did catch him cheating.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I actually caught him through his iPad, so you know
- 29:46Speaker 1: exactly his eye his messages went to his eye cloud
- 29:49Speaker 1: and wow, so he didn't even know. He left the
- 29:51Speaker 1: iPad back at the crib thinking he was out here,
- 29:53Speaker 1: and and I went through every message. Wow, yeah, fuck
- 29:58Speaker 1: his tires up. Yeah. I regret that. Though I'm really
- 30:01Speaker 1: a change person, A lot of people don't know that
- 30:04Speaker 1: I've changed so much, so much growth. I interviewed Gorilla
- 30:08Speaker 1: and she said that she caught her man cheating and
- 30:10Speaker 1: she snug a gun at the club and she was
- 30:13Speaker 1: about to murder in the club. She pulled a gun
- 30:16Speaker 1: out on and I love to kill real shit, right yeah,
- 30:22Speaker 1: so hey, I mean listen, who cares about a tire
- 30:24Speaker 1: or two? Right? Little yeah, just change it. Listen the album,
- 30:30Speaker 1: go run it up. And uh, I'm assuming it's early
- 30:35Speaker 1: in the year. We might get another one this year.
- 30:37Speaker 1: You never know. Absolutely, I'm working on a few more
- 30:41Speaker 1: crazy projects. My fans have been just a mixed, a
- 30:45Speaker 1: winner project, a right project, you know what, I think.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I want to do that for sure and drop it
- 30:51Speaker 1: as a tape that's not even like political eight song,
- 30:55Speaker 1: ten song where you're just going in facts. That's a
- 30:58Speaker 1: fire idea for real. Yeah, just to like you gotta
- 31:01Speaker 1: just remind people exactly and they wanted to, so yeah,
- 31:04Speaker 1: you never know. Watch out there, it is Tank. Appreciate
- 31:07Speaker 1: you pulling up. Thank you. Keev perf Lef
