- 0:06Speaker 1: It's time for am I the Problem, where you send
- 0:09Speaker 1: us your side of the story and we help you
- 0:11Speaker 1: figure out if you're in the right or if maybe,
- 0:14Speaker 1: just maybe you're the problem. Today we have an email
- 0:19Speaker 1: from Ryan who needs our help. Hey, guys, I have
- 0:23Speaker 1: a question for am I the Problem. Love hearing your
- 0:26Speaker 1: advice and advice from others when you read these emails.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Well, he wrote in to us.
- 0:33Speaker 1: By the way, if you ever have something you need
- 0:35Speaker 1: to write in, you can head to Big nine eight
- 0:38Speaker 1: seven dot com, hit the on air tab and you
- 0:40Speaker 1: could submit your am I the Problem?
- 0:42Speaker 3: All right, here goes.
- 0:44Speaker 1: My name is Ryan, and my twin brother and I
- 0:46Speaker 1: were once very close, but after I moved from Arizona
- 0:50Speaker 1: to Fargo for college and ended up staying here, things changed.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Last year, I found out I was deliberately excluded from
- 0:58Speaker 1: my brother's engagement. Despite being told it was a small dinner,
- 1:04Speaker 1: it turned out to be a large event with eighty guests,
- 1:08Speaker 1: and family members were told quote I couldn't make it.
- 1:12Speaker 1: When I pressed for answers, my family gave shifting excuses
- 1:16Speaker 1: and avoided the topic. Holidays since have been tense. For
- 1:20Speaker 1: the wedding, I received an invite, but no plus one
- 1:24Speaker 1: for my long term girlfriend. I wasn't included in the
- 1:28Speaker 1: wedding party and felt I was only invited for appearances.
- 1:32Speaker 1: To me, the choice was simple, but maybe I was wrong. Okay,
- 1:36Speaker 1: let's see. I chose not to attend the wedding without
- 1:40Speaker 1: formally declining show, no call, no show, And on the
- 1:45Speaker 1: wedding day, when asked why I wasn't there, I told
- 1:49Speaker 1: my mother I was in Fargo, where you all prefer
- 1:52Speaker 1: me to be. Now, my family says I was petty
- 1:56Speaker 1: and ruin the day, but I feel I was just
- 1:59Speaker 1: made the energy I've been given over the past year.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Am I the problem? Ooh? That is a doozy.
- 2:09Speaker 1: But I will go right now on record and say no,
- 2:13Speaker 1: You're not the problem.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Ryan.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Your twin brother is the problem, because how dare you
- 2:19Speaker 1: You're gonna exclude him from all these wedding events. I
- 2:24Speaker 1: feel like it's fine for Ryan to clap back and
- 2:28Speaker 1: just not show up. I'm team Ryan all the way.
- 2:30Speaker 1: What are your thoughts, Gabe?
- 2:32Speaker 4: There is a certain level of petty that I respect.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and I sort of kind of love that that
- 2:39Speaker 2: this is the path Ryan shows a right.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:42Speaker 2: The sad part is you really do only have one
- 2:45Speaker 2: brother and you, especially unless your triplet's of course, but
- 2:49Speaker 2: you really.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Only have one twin hmm.
- 2:51Speaker 2: And while you might be upset with each other now
- 2:54Speaker 2: or things are a little weird, now down the road,
- 2:58Speaker 2: if things are mended and you're fifty five and sixty
- 3:01Speaker 2: and seventy, I hope that you could look back on
- 3:04Speaker 2: this and laugh instead of look back on it with regret.
- 3:08Speaker 2: While I love that level of petty because frankly it's hilarious.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I I I could never do that. I would have
- 3:17Speaker 2: gone and swallowed my pride for the event or whatever,
- 3:22Speaker 2: and played the good boy family card and then went
- 3:27Speaker 2: home and just kind of ate it, because you know,
- 3:30Speaker 2: when you're fifty five and you know you look back,
- 3:32Speaker 2: are you gonna regret that you didn't go?
- 3:34Speaker 4: I think I wo no regrets.
- 3:37Speaker 1: No, I don't care. Ryan, You're not the problem. I
- 3:40Speaker 1: love what you did. You did match their energy. That's
- 3:44Speaker 1: all you can really do in a situation like this.
- 3:48Speaker 3: What are your thoughts?
- 3:49Speaker 1: Seven oh one two, eight oho one nine eighty seven
- 3:51Speaker 1: Do you think Ryan is the problem for doing a
- 3:55Speaker 1: no call, no show to his twin brother's wedding, even
- 3:59Speaker 1: though the brother had been excluding him from festivities leading
- 4:02Speaker 1: up to it. We also posed this on the Big
- 4:05Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven Facebook page, so you can drop
- 4:08Speaker 1: a comment there too.
- 4:09Speaker 2: This dude did what high schoolers do when they don't
- 4:12Speaker 2: want to go to work to his old brother's wedding. Wow,
- 4:20Speaker 2: Today's Variety Big ninety eight point seven.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Who's this Tody?
- 4:24Speaker 5: Ryan?
- 4:25Speaker 1: If he's not good enough for the engagement party even
- 4:28Speaker 1: though he's family, then why shouldn't he be good enough
- 4:32Speaker 1: for the wedding?
- 4:33Speaker 4: Exactly?
- 4:34Speaker 2: Jody is team Ryan, team Petty to her core. Absolutely, Jody,
- 4:39Speaker 2: where are you calling from today? Well, we will make
- 4:42Speaker 2: sure to pass the news on to Ryan from Jody
- 4:45Speaker 2: this morning.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Thank you so.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Much, Thank you having a great day.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Well, Ryan, if you're tuning in this morning, Jody is
- 4:51Speaker 4: team you?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yes, and let you know it's also team you. We
- 4:55Speaker 1: did have some comments. Allie said, not the problem, it's
- 4:59Speaker 1: really on the bro for being a groom zilla. Jennifer agreed,
- 5:03Speaker 1: you are not obligated to entertain toxic family period.
- 5:06Speaker 3: I'm with him on this one.
- 5:08Speaker 1: But you know what, it wouldn't be fair if I
- 5:11Speaker 1: didn't share the comments that people said on the opposite
- 5:16Speaker 1: side of what I think is right. Gloria said, sorry,
- 5:20Speaker 1: but Ryan is the problem. He can't complain about his
- 5:23Speaker 1: brother's behavior and then do something similar. He should have
- 5:26Speaker 1: taken the high road. Now he's no difference.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right. You know what.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Two wrongs don't make a right, they make a left.
- 5:39Speaker 2: The wise works a game. My whole point is I
- 5:44Speaker 2: think at some point he will regret this. So if
- 5:47Speaker 2: it's something you're going to regret regardless of how someone
- 5:50Speaker 2: else is treating you, I think then that would make
- 5:52Speaker 2: you the problem. Here's also the other thing about these
- 5:55Speaker 2: am I the problems that I need to point out. Okay,
- 5:58Speaker 2: we never ever, ever, Maybe one day we will, but
- 6:01Speaker 2: right now we never hear the full story. You know
- 6:04Speaker 2: that old saying, there's the sorry story. Yeah, someone has
- 6:10Speaker 2: their version, someone has another version, and then somewhere in
- 6:12Speaker 2: the middle is the truth. Ryan, What did you do
- 6:15Speaker 2: to make your twin brother hate you so much? Okay,
- 6:19Speaker 2: they couldn't have been that you just moved. Maybe it
- 6:21Speaker 2: was heartbroken and sad, but something happened, and Sherlock Glitnon
- 6:25Speaker 2: is gonna get to the.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Bottom of his mind.
- 6:27Speaker 2: God, I'm gonna start sliding in some dms here on
- 6:29Speaker 2: Instagram and find out.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Well, that's the thing, so am I the problem.
- 6:33Speaker 1: It's literally you share your side of the story and
- 6:36Speaker 1: then we find out if you're the problem.
- 6:38Speaker 3: So if you are ever listening to one of these and.
- 6:41Speaker 1: You're thinking, wait a minute, I know that about me,
- 6:45Speaker 1: all right, you jump on Big nine eight seven dot com,
- 6:48Speaker 1: hit the on air tab and submit your side of
- 6:51Speaker 1: the story.
- 6:52Speaker 3: We're fair over here.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I'm so excited because my older brother, the favored child
- 7:03Speaker 1: in my family, is coming to visit this weekend. In fact,
- 7:08Speaker 1: he and his wife and my two nephews are on
- 7:11Speaker 1: the road as we speak from Saint Louis and they're
- 7:15Speaker 1: coming to visit us here in Fargo. There's a full
- 7:18Speaker 1: packed itinerary, which includes going to have some lunch at
- 7:22Speaker 1: Rhombus Guys. And I'm really excited because I've been wanting
- 7:25Speaker 1: to go there, and I know our friends at the
- 7:27Speaker 1: Fox they are always doing lunch at Rhombus Guys, so
- 7:30Speaker 1: I wanted to join the party.
- 7:31Speaker 3: I'm really excited. I love Fargo.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I've been here for almost six months now and I'm
- 7:38Speaker 1: just really excited to show my brother and his family around.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it was kind of cool when you moved to
- 7:44Speaker 2: you moved at the perfect time. When did you start
- 7:46Speaker 2: March or April or March March? So yeah, as the
- 7:49Speaker 2: weather started to warm up, you got this whole thing
- 7:51Speaker 2: to explore for the summer, which I'm yeah, because when
- 7:55Speaker 2: I started it was November.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Oh wow, you know what.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Honestly or something like that, they were gonna come visit
- 8:02Speaker 1: for Christmas, and they were like, listen, only feel like
- 8:06Speaker 1: the weather might be a little unpredictable and we don't
- 8:10Speaker 1: have that many vacation days, so we're gonna visit in
- 8:13Speaker 1: the summer. And I was like, actually, that is perfect,
- 8:16Speaker 1: and it's a perfect way. I mean, it's basically the
- 8:18Speaker 1: end of summer because school starts for my kids on
- 8:21Speaker 1: the twenty seven yep. So it's like, let's get one
- 8:25Speaker 1: last like big hurrah yep, and then Geurope for school.
- 8:29Speaker 4: That's right.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Well, I'm in kind of the same boat. There are
- 8:33Speaker 2: like these three sometimes four, it kind of depends, but
- 8:36Speaker 2: three or four golf tournaments I play in every single year,
- 8:40Speaker 2: and now this is kind of like a new one.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I'm playing in a golf tournament on Sunday in Minneapolis.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I've never played in a golf tournament in Minneapolis. I've
- 8:49Speaker 2: always gone to like southeastern Minnesota, so quite literally the
- 8:53Speaker 2: exact opposite corner of the of the you know, the
- 8:57Speaker 2: state or from Fargo, I guess. And it's gonna be
- 9:01Speaker 2: a lot of fun. I'm playing with one of my
- 9:03Speaker 2: best friends. His name is Jake. You've actually met Jake.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I love Jake.
- 9:07Speaker 4: He's a great dude.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Jake is the best. Also, have him come visit again.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Oh yeah, he'll be up. Yeah, he'll be up.
- 9:12Speaker 2: So I'm playing in a golf tournament with him, his
- 9:15Speaker 2: younger brother who I'm really good friends with, and then
- 9:17Speaker 2: their cousin Andy, who I've known all these guys since
- 9:20Speaker 2: I was like seven.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Oh this is cute.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Yeah, and this is.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Kind of you know, I guess our last hurrah for
- 9:26Speaker 2: the for the summer because him and I are going
- 9:29Speaker 2: to I don't even know who it is, but I'm
- 9:31Speaker 2: along for the ride. He has some backstage passes to
- 9:34Speaker 2: some festival at some country festival, oh nice, like around
- 9:39Speaker 2: the Minneapolis area, and he was like, Hey, do you
- 9:40Speaker 2: want to go?
- 9:41Speaker 4: I was like, well, yeah, I guess. I mean, who
- 9:43Speaker 4: else is going to you know?
- 9:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:44Speaker 4: You got I'm with you all Yeah, that's right.
- 9:47Speaker 2: So I am excited for a big, big weekend and
- 9:51Speaker 2: returning back to you on Tuesday. I want to be
- 9:53Speaker 2: here Monday. Yeah, so I'm looking forward to that. Should
- 9:55Speaker 2: be a good time, and we plan on winning the thing.
- 9:57Speaker 2: You know, we're all pretty solid golfers, and Andy was
- 10:00Speaker 2: a college golfer. Yeah, and then three of us who
- 10:07Speaker 2: are very solid, So we're gonna we're gonna try to
- 10:09Speaker 2: actually win it. A lot of times in golf tournaments,
- 10:11Speaker 2: you know, you're just out there kind of having fun. Yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 2: I think we're trying to win it. Okay, I like that.
- 10:15Speaker 3: You better come back of victory.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Well, happy Friday, and there is no better excuse than
- 10:27Speaker 2: today to do nothing but relax. Today is National Relaxation Day.
- 10:34Speaker 2: And do you know what is very sad? What we
- 10:37Speaker 2: need to do some more relaxing.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'll tell you that I'm upset that it's a relaxation
- 10:43Speaker 1: day because I literally have so.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Much I have to do before my brother gets here.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Yeah, well you're gonna have to end. You're probably not
- 10:49Speaker 2: relaxing it all this weekend.
- 10:51Speaker 3: No, I'm not.
- 10:52Speaker 2: The good news is, though, is you know how when
- 10:55Speaker 2: you have vacation days at work, they don't. Sometimes some
- 10:58Speaker 2: places do, but someplace don't. Carry over. It's like you
- 11:01Speaker 2: use them or you lose them. Yeah, well, relaxation you
- 11:05Speaker 2: can make up for it.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Oh you can.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Yes, it's like the opposite of sleep.
- 11:09Speaker 2: You know they say you shouldn't use the weekend to
- 11:11Speaker 2: catch up on Say, well you can catch up on relaxation.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Oh excellent.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 2: The study found that forty two percent of your total
- 11:19Speaker 2: day should go towards rest and relaxation.
- 11:21Speaker 4: So okay too, basically the second you get home.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like things ramp up for me when
- 11:28Speaker 1: I get home because I've kids.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Yeah, you're supposed to relax over ten hours per day,
- 11:34Speaker 2: And I know there are some parents who heard that
- 11:35Speaker 2: right and just went.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Yeah hardly nowhere.
- 11:40Speaker 2: You know, if you sleep eight hours, that leaves two
- 11:44Speaker 2: hours for other forms of relaxation.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Now, also, the relaxation includes the.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Sleep, Well it can exactly.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Yes, So some things you might not think are relaxing,
- 11:56Speaker 2: but maybe they are.
- 11:57Speaker 4: You just don't think of it.
- 11:58Speaker 2: That way, right, Hey, talking with your friends or your partner,
- 12:02Speaker 2: just shooting the breeze can be relaxed.
- 12:04Speaker 3: That is true.
- 12:05Speaker 4: Exercising what's amazing.
- 12:08Speaker 3: That opposite lie.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Yeah, right, and then eating can be a form of relaxing.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Wait a minute, then I relax twenty four hours.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Relaxing doesn't need to be consistent. Life gets crazy. But
- 12:22Speaker 2: if you have a busy week, if you can try
- 12:24Speaker 2: to fit in more downtime the next week, you will
- 12:27Speaker 2: receive those benefits.
- 12:29Speaker 4: It's kind of the opposite of sleep. As we had mentioned.
- 12:32Speaker 2: If you think you're in a deficit this weekend, try
- 12:35Speaker 2: to spend a few hours Monday or Tuesday, eating, sleeping,
- 12:39Speaker 2: or talking with your friends and or partner.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I get to talk with you every morning.
- 12:44Speaker 4: We have the most.
- 12:45Speaker 2: We probably relax more than anybody about it.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Clean clean everybody. I know, a lot of parents maybe
- 12:57Speaker 4: just god enrage.
- 12:59Speaker 1: They started, they flinched, they're cringing, they're twitching.
- 13:03Speaker 4: There is a.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Cleaner, like a professional cleaner has come out and said, hey,
- 13:07Speaker 2: if you want to achieve the highest cleanly house you
- 13:11Speaker 2: can Huh, where should you start? Because I think everyone
- 13:16Speaker 2: has that one shore or those couple of chores. Are like, yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 2: I hate the dishes, you know what, I hate the whatever,
- 13:24Speaker 2: And so we want to know what yours is.
- 13:26Speaker 4: At seven oh one two eight zero one eight seven.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I feel like the chore I hate.
- 13:31Speaker 1: The most is not the number one answer ever, dishes
- 13:35Speaker 1: I kind of love to do.
- 13:37Speaker 4: I don't mind doing the dishes either.
- 13:38Speaker 1: It's because I also am very specific about my dishes,
- 13:41Speaker 1: like I wash my dishes all the way by hand
- 13:43Speaker 1: and then put them in the dishwasher and run it
- 13:46Speaker 1: again to super sanitize them.
- 13:47Speaker 3: I know I have a problem.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And I also really like cleaning the bathroom. I love
- 13:55Speaker 1: cleaning a toilet and I know that's gross, but I
- 13:58Speaker 1: don't know. It is my chore growing up, and it
- 14:00Speaker 1: was when I would get my alone time.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Was your chore growing up? Yeah, you draw the short
- 14:04Speaker 2: stream every week?
- 14:05Speaker 3: No, I don't know how that ended up assigning to me.
- 14:08Speaker 4: It's just dubbed the toilet.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Clean Well, Angie Moralesy, I'm just too good at it.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I was really good, and as being one of four kids,
- 14:16Speaker 1: that was like my alone time where I just got
- 14:19Speaker 1: to it was me and the chemical fumes.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Though, now we got it, and you just like being
- 14:27Speaker 2: stoned in the bathroom cleaning it that explains I like,
- 14:31Speaker 2: I'm cool with that.
- 14:32Speaker 3: I'm cool with bathroom cleaning, and I love vacuuming.
- 14:37Speaker 1: The one that I cannot is dusting. Oh my gosh,
- 14:42Speaker 1: do I hate to dust. It's so annoying. I also
- 14:46Speaker 1: can't reach like ceiling fan blades. Yep, so that's stressful
- 14:51Speaker 1: to me. I do not like dusting, and I feel
- 14:53Speaker 1: like that's like a major thing you should be dealing.
- 14:55Speaker 2: It's very interesting you say that, because if you want
- 14:58Speaker 2: the cleanest home possible, that's where you se art is
- 15:00Speaker 2: with dusting.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Professional cleaner says the most important cleaning when you start
- 15:08Speaker 2: is to dust and sanitize. Now it's not necessarily your
- 15:13Speaker 2: coffee table, but the high touch points. Right, So doorknobs,
- 15:17Speaker 2: your fridge, door handle, your the railing you use when
- 15:20Speaker 2: you walk up or down your steps or whatever. Those
- 15:23Speaker 2: are the most important things to do first, and then
- 15:26Speaker 2: all of the other chores.
- 15:29Speaker 3: I do that.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I'd use the cleaning wipes, the sanitary cleaning wipes to
- 15:34Speaker 1: do doorknobs, railings, and light switches.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Yep.
- 15:38Speaker 3: So okay, So I'm okay.
- 15:39Speaker 1: But all the other dusting, Thank god, I have a
- 15:42Speaker 1: wonderful boyfriend named Mikey who is.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Obsessed with dusting.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Hannah, keep that cirtain, Hannah, what's your least favorite thing to.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Clean For me, it's definitely the kitchen back splash behind
- 15:53Speaker 5: the stove. Grease and splatters just get into every tiny
- 15:56Speaker 5: crevice and no matter how many times you wipe it
- 15:59Speaker 5: is all seems to come back.
- 16:01Speaker 4: That is so true.
- 16:03Speaker 2: And it's grease so I feel you can like see
- 16:05Speaker 2: it slow sometimes.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Have I ever even looked at that Max don't come
- 16:11Speaker 3: to my.
- 16:11Speaker 4: House and she didn't know she had a X jack?
- 16:15Speaker 4: What about you? Man? My kitchen is the hardist to clean.
- 16:18Speaker 5: I think it's because it's the most active when it
- 16:20Speaker 5: comes to food.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Between the dishes, the appliances and the cabinets, there's just
- 16:24Speaker 2: a lot of spaces that need thorough cleaning. You know,
- 16:27Speaker 2: my least favorite thing to clean. So we have this
- 16:31Speaker 2: stainless steel spray we have to use for the fridge.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Oh yeah, same.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I hate like cleaning off the fridge and it sounds
- 16:40Speaker 2: like such a mundane, like stupid easy shore like, Oh,
- 16:42Speaker 2: just spray it and wipe it down, and that is
- 16:44Speaker 2: what you do. The problem is is we are one
- 16:46Speaker 2: of those well, we are one of those psychotic households
- 16:51Speaker 2: that we save everything we get in the mail and
- 16:55Speaker 2: put it on the fridge, so I take stupid things off,
- 17:00Speaker 2: spray that bad boy down, and then joke with my
- 17:04Speaker 2: wife that I threw the invite. We got to this
- 17:07Speaker 2: wedding in twenty twenty one away.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Why would we do that? Well, you know, dear, it
- 17:12Speaker 4: was four years ago. I think.
- 17:19Speaker 1: There are two things that we grew up with that
- 17:23Speaker 1: are going away and we surely will miss them.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Dial up Internet.
- 17:32Speaker 1: AOL will end it's dial up Internet service on September thirtieth,
- 17:38Speaker 1: marking the end of an era after thirty four years.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Now you might be thinking, bro, we still have dial
- 17:46Speaker 1: up Internet available.
- 17:48Speaker 4: I thought that was a pretty obsolete. I didn't know.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Not one time when I have moved somewhere to get
- 17:53Speaker 2: Internet options have they asked, Hey, do you want the
- 17:56Speaker 2: one where you can't use your land phone that you
- 17:59Speaker 2: also don't to have.
- 18:01Speaker 3: But I'm just I'm still gonna miss it anyway.
- 18:03Speaker 1: When I was a teenager, my mom gifted us the
- 18:07Speaker 1: greatest gift, and it was the teen line, so that
- 18:12Speaker 1: we would have separate phone lines in the house, the
- 18:15Speaker 1: mainland line and then the teen line.
- 18:17Speaker 3: And once internet became like huge.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Then it was like, we're gonna use the teen line
- 18:23Speaker 1: as the dial up internet one. So back to talking
- 18:27Speaker 1: on the phone on the main one, but you get
- 18:30Speaker 1: to use your dial up internet and hear.
- 18:32Speaker 5: That can.
- 18:35Speaker 2: The man, you know, Angie's great impressions. I'd put that
- 18:44Speaker 2: one in the kind of bottom tier.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Okay, well, I'm not a machine, I'm a woman.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Well for me, Cyana, I'm not going to miss it
- 18:51Speaker 4: a bit.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Not working hard, you might not be able to picture
- 18:59Speaker 1: anything with a Kodak because that might be shutting down
- 19:03Speaker 1: after one hundred thirty three years. Kodak says, if it
- 19:07Speaker 1: doesn't get any investors, they're not going to be able
- 19:10Speaker 1: to keep up and they're gonna have to cease operations.
- 19:13Speaker 1: The thing is, Kodak is film baby, and with the
- 19:17Speaker 1: advent of digital cameras all the digital media, film is
- 19:21Speaker 1: not what it was once before.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Even movies are filming.
- 19:26Speaker 1: On digital instead of film, right, and so Kodak just
- 19:31Speaker 1: can't keep up. Even though they were the ones that
- 19:34Speaker 1: first came out with a digital camera.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Did you know that?
- 19:37Speaker 4: Wow, they created their own deba.
- 19:39Speaker 1: They had the first digital camera. But even so they
- 19:43Speaker 1: might have to shut down. I will say Kodak had
- 19:46Speaker 1: the disposable cameras and that was like major in high school,
- 19:51Speaker 1: taking all the pictures, not knowing what you look like,
- 19:53Speaker 1: and then developing them and realizing, wow, what a waste
- 19:57Speaker 1: of film.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Twice a year, there are these things that I like
- 20:07Speaker 2: to call radio report cards. Okay, and Angie and I
- 20:11Speaker 2: just want to thank you for hanging out and being
- 20:16Speaker 2: part of Big ninety eight point seven with us. When
- 20:18Speaker 2: we and I first started and Angie first started, I
- 20:22Speaker 2: am sure that that was almost a shock to your
- 20:25Speaker 2: daily routine, to your normal operating day, and we just
- 20:30Speaker 2: want to thank you so much for sticking with us
- 20:33Speaker 2: and making us a part of your mornings and your
- 20:35Speaker 2: drives or your bus rides or whatever it is. Maybe
- 20:38Speaker 2: at work you just have us on his background noise. Yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 2: we just thank you for that, and we're really really appreciative.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I couldn't have said it any better than Gabe, honestly.
- 20:45Speaker 1: You know, being new somewhere is scary and you never
- 20:48Speaker 1: know what that's going to be like, and we have
- 20:50Speaker 1: felt very embraced during this time.
- 20:54Speaker 3: And yeah, we just thank you so much.
- 20:56Speaker 1: We love being part of your morning and we couldn't
- 20:58Speaker 1: do what we do without you, So thank you.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Yes, and all of the people who chime in when
- 21:04Speaker 2: they text us or call us. We love getting the
- 21:06Speaker 2: calls in the text and the Facebook stuff.
- 21:09Speaker 4: We're just very very grateful for that.
- 21:11Speaker 2: And I don't know if we've told you that since
- 21:12Speaker 2: we have kind of started and I am approaching like
- 21:15Speaker 2: one year very shortly, which is kind of like the
- 21:18Speaker 2: cartoon where the eyes pop out of the pad, you know, and.
- 21:22Speaker 3: I'm hitting the six month mark pretty.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Soon, and it's kind of in the blink of an eye.
- 21:26Speaker 2: You might be listening and going, oh my god, Gabe's
- 21:28Speaker 2: been here almost a year back, you know, and he's
- 21:31Speaker 2: been here half a year.
- 21:32Speaker 4: And so we just wanted to thank you this morning
- 21:35Speaker 4: on this Friday for that.
- 21:37Speaker 2: And we're just very very grateful that you hang out
- 21:40Speaker 2: with us in the mornings here on Big ninety eight
- 21:42Speaker 2: point seven. The world is full of nice people. If
- 21:44Speaker 2: you can't find one, you gotta be one.
