- 0:01A devotee reported the following incident.
- 0:05He had visited a researcher at Jipmer Hospital in Pondicherry,
- 0:09India, who was using Curlean photography in his research.
- 0:14The researcher showed him several stones.
- 0:17One of them was an ordinary stone.
- 0:20The other one had been in an active temple for a considerable
- 0:23period of time. He showed the Curlean aura
- 0:27photographs of the two and it was clear that the temple stone
- 0:32had a strong radiation coming off of it.
- 0:35The researcher then suggested that this devotee become himself
- 0:39part of the experiment. First he took a photograph of
- 0:44his extended hand. He then had the devotee chants
- 0:48of mantras for a couple of minutes.
- 0:50The post mantra photograph had a strong radiating aura coming off
- 0:55the fingers. One of the powers of an active
- 0:59mantra is to energize the vital being and strengthen the aura.
- 1:03The aura provides a protective vital field around each
- 1:06individual. So the power of the mantra is a
- 1:10boost to the ability of the individual to ward off negative
- 1:14forces, including potentially forces that can create illness
- 1:20if they succeed in penetrating the aura.
- 1:24The mantra must be a living 1, not an intellectual pursuit that
- 1:27someone picks up out of a book. It also must be honoured,
- 1:32supported and encouraged in its action.
- 1:35Through repetition with focus and intent, it then gains its
- 1:40utmost power. The deeper it is ingrained, the
- 1:43more it is able to respond instantly to situations and
- 1:47provide added protection for the individual.
- 1:51Frequent repetition of the chosen mantra, particularly in
- 1:55situations of danger or stress, makes it easier for it to appear
- 2:01at the moment of need in the consciousness.
- 2:04It is something like classical condition in in Western
- 2:07psychology, which practices repetition of a specific
- 2:11conditioning event and elicits a specific conditioned response
- 2:17such that whenever that event occurs, the response occurs
- 2:21automatically and instantaneously.
- 2:25In the case of a mantra that is remembered at times of
- 2:28difficulty or danger, the being is conditioned to bring it
- 2:32forward whenever such stress arises, and the action of the
- 2:36mantra conditions the aura and other elements of the body,
- 2:40life, mind, complex to respond with a protective response, the
- 2:46mother observes. Quote And then you may also take
- 2:51another attitude when you are playing and suddenly become
- 2:55aware that something is going wrong, you are making mistakes,
- 2:59are inattentive. Sometimes opposing currents come
- 3:03across what you are doing. If you develop the habit
- 3:07automatically at this moment of calling, as by a mantra, of
- 3:12repeating a word that has an extraordinary effect, you choose
- 3:17your mantra. Or rather one day it comes to
- 3:20you spontaneously in a moment of difficulty, at a time when
- 3:25things are very difficult, when you have a sort of anguish,
- 3:29anxiety, when you don't know what is going to happen,
- 3:33suddenly this springs up in you, the words brings up in you.
- 3:39For each one it may be different, but if you mark this
- 3:43and each time you face a difficulty you repeat it, it
- 3:47becomes irresistible. For instance, if you feel you
- 3:51are about to fall, I'll, if you feel you are doing badly what
- 3:55you are doing, if you feel something evil is going to
- 3:59attack you, then. But it must be a spontaneity in
- 4:03the being. It must spring up from you
- 4:06without your needing to think about it.
- 4:08You choose your mantra because it is a spontaneous expression
- 4:12of your aspiration. It may be one word, two or three
- 4:17words, a sentence that depends on each one, but it must be a
- 4:22sound which awakens in you a certain condition.
- 4:25Then when you have that, I assure you that you can pass
- 4:30through everything without difficulty, even in the face of
- 4:34a real, veritable danger, an attack, for instance, by someone
- 4:39who wants to kill you. If without getting excited,
- 4:44without being perturbed, you quietly repeat your mantra.
- 4:48One can do nothing to you naturally.
- 4:52You must be truly master of yourself.
- 4:55One part of the being must not be trembling there like a leaf.
- 4:59No, you must do it entirely sincerely.
- 5:03Then it is all powerful. The best is when the word comes
- 5:08to you spontaneously. You call in a moment of great
- 5:12difficulty, mental, vital, physical, emotional, whatever it
- 5:17might be, and suddenly that springs up in you two or three
- 5:21words, like magical words. You must remember these and form
- 5:26the habit of repeating them in moments when difficulties come.
- 5:30If you form the habit, one day it will come to you
- 5:34spontaneously. When the difficulty comes, at
- 5:38the same time the mantra will come.
- 5:41Then you will see that the results are wonderful.
- 5:44But it must not be an artificial thing or something you
- 5:47arbitrarily decide. I shall use these words.
- 5:51Nor should somebody else tell you.
- 5:54Oh, you know, this is very good. It is perhaps very good for him,
- 5:59but not for everyone. End Quote.
