- 3:59Speaker 2: that we will grow closer to you today. God. We
- 4:02Speaker 2: ask a God that we will get o, Lord, the
- 4:05Speaker 2: knowledge out of your word today so that we can
- 4:08Speaker 2: grow thereby that we're not just hearers of the word,
- 4:12Speaker 2: but we are doers also. Father. We ask a God
- 4:16Speaker 2: that every year that is intended to hear this podcast
- 4:19Speaker 2: will hear it and join us in the life chat.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Let this be a movement. Let this be a revival,
- 4:27Speaker 2: Old God, right here on the radio station. We thank you,
- 4:33Speaker 2: we love you, we exalt you in the mighty name
- 4:39Speaker 2: of Jesus. Amen, hallelujah. The Lord is going to open
- 4:47Speaker 2: our eyes today, not just in the physical but in
- 4:51Speaker 2: the spiritual as well. Help us to see what you're
- 4:56Speaker 2: doing even when we don't understand, and everything in Jesus' name, hallelujah.
- 5:04Speaker 2: All right, all right, okay, So we're gonna take the
- 5:09Speaker 2: first three verses in chapter nine, and as a backdrop,
- 5:16Speaker 2: remember Jesus was having a confrontation and discussion with the
- 5:23Speaker 2: religious leaders, the Pharisees and Sadducees, and he told them
- 5:27Speaker 2: straight out that I am right, I am that I
- 5:31Speaker 2: am that is the name of God. And they picked
- 5:36Speaker 2: up stones ready to kill him. They understood exactly what
- 5:41Speaker 2: he said. So he made his way through the crowd.
- 5:47Speaker 2: And so here's another instance right here where Jesus is
- 5:55Speaker 2: gonna fall under some controversy. The man that was born
- 6:00Speaker 2: blind receive his sight. So firse one. Now, as Jesus
- 6:11Speaker 2: passed by, he saw a man who was blind from birth,
- 6:17Speaker 2: and his disciples asked him, saying, Rabbi, who's sin this
- 6:22Speaker 2: man or his parents that he was born blind? Jesus answered,
- 6:29Speaker 2: neither this man nor his parents sin, but that the
- 6:32Speaker 2: works of God should be revealed in him. Heymen, okay,
- 6:41Speaker 2: well let's break that down real quick. Now, back in
- 6:47Speaker 2: those days, many assume sickness and disability was always a
- 6:52Speaker 2: result of sin. Now for this man to be born
- 6:57Speaker 2: this way, that means he would have had to have
- 7:01Speaker 2: before he was born. Right, because the question was who's
- 7:07Speaker 2: sin this man or his parents? Jesus corrected that mindset.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Sometimes God allows suffering so that his glory can be revealed. Now,
- 7:24Speaker 2: this verse hit is kind of deep.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:27Speaker 2: We often ask why me when life hurts, But sometimes
- 7:33Speaker 2: the better question is what is God revealing through this?
- 7:39Speaker 2: Jesus didn't focus on the blame. He focused on the purpose.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Remember that, I'm gonna repeat that. Jesus didn't focus on
- 7:49Speaker 2: the blame. He focused on the purpose. Now, the Greek
- 7:54Speaker 2: word for revealed it is is I'm much. Spell it
- 8:02Speaker 2: out p h A n E r O panaro. Believe
- 8:13Speaker 2: that's how you pronounce it. It means to make visible
- 8:16Speaker 2: or clear. God uses our pain as a platform to
- 8:22Speaker 2: show his power. Amen, I've heard it said before. Man's
- 8:29Speaker 2: extremities is God's opportunities. All right, we're gonna go from
- 8:37Speaker 2: four all the way to seven. I must work the
- 8:42Speaker 2: works of him who sent me while it is day.
- 8:46Speaker 2: The night is coming when no one can work. As
- 8:50Speaker 2: long as I am in the world. I am the
- 8:53Speaker 2: light of the world. When he had said these things,
- 9:00Speaker 2: he spat on the ground and made clay with saliva,
- 9:05Speaker 2: and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with
- 9:09Speaker 2: the clay. And he said to him, go wash in
- 9:16Speaker 2: a pool asylum, which is translated scent. So he went
- 9:23Speaker 2: and washed and came back seeing hallelujah. He went, he washed,
- 9:32Speaker 2: and he came back with his sight. That was a
- 9:37Speaker 2: marvelous miracle. Lost another one. I know some people in
- 9:42Speaker 2: church sometimes they play, you know, they're like, you know,
- 9:44Speaker 2: let me spit and make some clay. And there was
- 9:50Speaker 2: a pastor that did something similar to this. He spat
- 9:55Speaker 2: on one of his congregants, trying to make a point
- 10:00Speaker 2: in one of his messages. But let's get into it.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Jesus he healed in an unusual way to show his
- 10:12Speaker 2: authority wasn't tied to a formula, but it's tied to
- 10:18Speaker 2: divine power. The act of speeding in clay in sending
- 10:23Speaker 2: him to asylum, the poor sin was symbolic. Jesus himself
- 10:29Speaker 2: was sent from the Father to bring us the light.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Amen now the man. He obeyed, even when the method
- 10:39Speaker 2: seemed kind of strange.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Sometimes God's instructions don't make sense, but they lead to
- 10:48Speaker 2: a breakthrough. Let me say that again. Sometimes we may
- 10:51Speaker 2: not know what God is doing, but if we only obey,
- 10:57Speaker 2: it will lead us to that breakthrough. You're healing is
- 11:02Speaker 2: often connected to your obedience. Hallelujah. You're healing.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Is often.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Connected to your obedience. Amen. Therefore the neighbors where am
- 11:32Speaker 2: I hold on? Came back saying, okay. Therefore the neighbors
- 11:37Speaker 2: and those who previously had seen that it was said
- 11:47Speaker 2: that it was blind. Okay, when we were this again,
- 11:50Speaker 2: Therefore the neighbors and those who physically had seen that
- 11:54Speaker 2: he was blind? Said, is not this he who sat
- 11:59Speaker 2: in bed? Some said this is he? Others said he is?
- 12:06Speaker 2: He looks like him. He said, I am he. Therefore
- 12:12Speaker 2: they said to him, how were your eyes open? He answered,
- 12:18Speaker 2: and said, a man called Jesus may clay and anointed
- 12:22Speaker 2: my eyes and said to me go to the pool
- 12:27Speaker 2: of Salem and wash. So I went and washed, and
- 12:35Speaker 2: I received a sight. Hallelujah, a mighty miracle of the Lord.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Then they said to him, where is he? He said,
- 12:46Speaker 2: I don't know. Verse thirteen. They saw him who formally
- 12:53Speaker 2: was blind. They brought him, who formally was blind, to
- 13:00Speaker 2: the pharisees. Now it was a sabbath sabbath when Jesus
- 13:10Speaker 2: made the clay and opened his eyes. Here you go,
- 13:12Speaker 2: another miracle on the sabbath. Then the Pharisees also asked
- 13:17Speaker 2: him again how he had received his sight. He said,
- 13:24Speaker 2: to them. He put clay on my eyes and I
- 13:28Speaker 2: was washed. And I see now they didn't rejoice over
- 13:34Speaker 2: the fact that man was made whole. They're upset because
- 13:40Speaker 2: it was done on the Sabbath? How blind can religious?
- 13:45Speaker 2: Can religion make us like we have no HeartWare is
- 13:49Speaker 2: our humanity? Verse sixteen. Therefore some of the Pharisees said,
- 13:56Speaker 2: this man is not from God because he does not
- 14:01Speaker 2: keep Sabbath. Others said, how can a man who is
- 14:07Speaker 2: a sinner do such things? And there was a division
- 14:13Speaker 2: amongst them. Remember I said that in our previous podcast
- 14:19Speaker 2: that Jesus intentionally will cause division. There is a separation
- 14:27Speaker 2: from belief and unbelief. We have to make sure our
- 14:31Speaker 2: belief is strong. We can see by our lifestyle and
- 14:35Speaker 2: our actions. Do we trust God? Do we trust God
- 14:39Speaker 2: in our finances? If we did, we would pay our tithes,
- 14:42Speaker 2: we would give offering, we would be generous, and we
- 14:46Speaker 2: would be obedient. Do we trust God in our marriages?
- 14:50Speaker 2: If so, women would submit to their husbands and respect them,
- 14:55Speaker 2: and husbands would love their wives. As Christ of the church,
- 15:01Speaker 2: there is trust and submission and surrender that is connected
- 15:08Speaker 2: to our belief, and God will help us there's help
- 15:13Speaker 2: today in this podcast, in the areas where we struggle.
- 15:18Speaker 2: As they say, I believe help my unbelief. Amen. Now,
- 15:24Speaker 2: how can a man who is a sinner do such signs?
- 15:28Speaker 2: And there was a division amongst them. They said to
- 15:31Speaker 2: the blind man, what do you say about him? Because
- 15:34Speaker 2: he opened your eyes? He said, he is a prophet. Now,
- 15:42Speaker 2: at least I can say one thing. At least they're investigating.
- 15:46Speaker 2: At least they gave this man a chance to talk.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I've been in situations where people will talk behind your back.
- 15:54Speaker 2: They will gossip, they will whisper, they will say things.
- 15:59Speaker 2: They won't give you a chance to talk or explain.
- 16:03Speaker 2: They'll just make up things. They'll just say, oh, yeah,
- 16:05Speaker 2: you know you so desperately you want to go do this?
- 16:10Speaker 2: And they he didn't even ask you about it, like
- 16:13Speaker 2: they're just making assumptions even though they're off. At least
- 16:17Speaker 2: they get his man a chance to speak. He said
- 16:19Speaker 2: he's a prophet. But the Jews did not believe concerning
- 16:24Speaker 2: him that he had been blind and received his sight. Now,
- 16:30Speaker 2: they thought it was something made up, you know what
- 16:33Speaker 2: I mean. They thought it was how many times have
- 16:35Speaker 2: you heard about these pastors who had somebody in the
- 16:39Speaker 2: crowd with the wheelchair, and they get up proclaiming that
- 16:44Speaker 2: they're healed. But to find out later it was some
- 16:47Speaker 2: type of scam, right, some type of comment, and this
- 16:50Speaker 2: is what they thought. They thought this guy was a
- 16:52Speaker 2: prop right, that Jesus was faking in miracles. But at
- 17:00Speaker 2: least to their credit, they investigated until they called the
- 17:08Speaker 2: parents of him who had received his sight. So they
- 17:13Speaker 2: called his parents so they could testify, and they asked him, saying,
- 17:19Speaker 2: is this your son who you say was born blind?
- 17:24Speaker 2: How then does he now see verse twenty His parents
- 17:32Speaker 2: answered them and said, we know that this is our
- 17:36Speaker 2: son and that he was born blind, but by what
- 17:42Speaker 2: means he now sees, we do not know. Or who
- 17:49Speaker 2: opened his eyes, we do not know. So his parents
- 17:53Speaker 2: weren't there, but they confirmed that this is their son
- 17:56Speaker 2: that was blind. And then they said, he is of
- 17:59Speaker 2: a ask him, he will speak for himself. I love him.
- 18:06Speaker 2: When the Bible gives commentary on the Bible, right, John
- 18:10Speaker 2: gives us a commentary in verse twenty two. His parents
- 18:13Speaker 2: said these things because they fear the Jews, for the
- 18:19Speaker 2: Jews had agreed already that if anyone confesses that he
- 18:25Speaker 2: was Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Now they didn't want to get put out of their synagogue,
- 18:34Speaker 2: so they're like, huh, talk to my son. He can
- 18:37Speaker 2: speak for himself. Therefore, his parents said, he is of age.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Ask him. So they again call the man who was blind,
- 18:49Speaker 2: and said to him, give God the glory. We know
- 18:53Speaker 2: that this man is a sinner. Now this goes back
- 18:59Speaker 2: to their thoughts, right. Remember in this chapter, the disciples
- 19:04Speaker 2: thought that this man had to have been born in sin,
- 19:08Speaker 2: either himself or his parents. And so when you really
- 19:14Speaker 2: think about it, that means before he was born, when
- 19:17Speaker 2: he was in his mother's womb, he had to do
- 19:19Speaker 2: some type of sin. Like what kind of thinking is that.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Now we can understand parents because we know that there's
- 19:27Speaker 2: generational curses or the Bible says that he will visit
- 19:31Speaker 2: the iniquities of the fathers to the thread for a generation.
- 19:36Speaker 2: But that wasn't the case. And so sometimes that there's
- 19:42Speaker 2: traditions and there's things that men come up with and
- 19:46Speaker 2: they're not necessarily biblical, right, and so just be care
- 20:00Speaker 2: for that. Make sure when you hear things like that
- 20:05Speaker 2: you can back it up with scripture. Do your own studies. Amen,
- 20:11Speaker 2: They said, give God glory. We know that this man
- 20:14Speaker 2: is a sinner. In verse twenty five, he answered and said,
- 20:19Speaker 2: whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know,
- 20:23Speaker 2: Like he doesn't know his man. One thing I know
- 20:29Speaker 2: that though I was blind. Now I see, now that
- 20:37Speaker 2: is a good rebuttal, let's actually park there for a second.
- 20:43Speaker 2: He answered and said, whether he is a sinner or not,
- 20:48Speaker 2: I do not know one thing.
- 20:49Speaker 3: I know.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I thought I was although I was blind. Now I
- 20:56Speaker 2: see that's a testimony right here. I once was blind.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Now I see. It's not about having every theological argument.
- 21:12Speaker 2: It's about the experience and transformation. Jesus touches you. You
- 21:20Speaker 2: don't need to explain it. Your life becomes the evidence. Amen.
- 21:30Speaker 2: You cannot argue against a personal experience when you have
- 21:37Speaker 2: a personal encounter. One of the best things you can
- 21:43Speaker 2: do when you witness is you tell people what Jesus
- 21:48Speaker 2: has done for you. And maybe even the people that
- 21:53Speaker 2: know you, your family members and loved ones, they know
- 21:56Speaker 2: and see the change. It used to be an angry person,
- 22:00Speaker 2: but now you're patient. He used to be selfish, but
- 22:04Speaker 2: now you are considerate. He used to be a drunk
- 22:08Speaker 2: or an alcohol or a drug addict. But now you're
- 22:11Speaker 2: living sober, clean, responsible, taking care of your family. You
- 22:18Speaker 2: cannot stand against the power of a testimony. Amen, Amen, hallelujah,
- 22:30Speaker 2: Verse twenty six. And he said to him again, what
- 22:34Speaker 2: did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?
- 22:40Speaker 2: He answered them, I told you already and you did
- 22:44Speaker 2: not listen. Why do you want to hear it again?
- 22:50Speaker 2: Do you also want to become his disciple? Man, I
- 22:53Speaker 2: love this dude. He like straight took it to him.
- 22:56Speaker 2: He's like, look, I was blind. Now I see I
- 23:00Speaker 2: don't know what y'all going through. At least, like I said,
- 23:08Speaker 2: these guys were investigating, they fell short because they would
- 23:15Speaker 2: not believe the miracles before their very eyes. Then they
- 23:20Speaker 2: reviled him and said, you are his disciple, but we
- 23:26Speaker 2: are Moses's disciple. We know that God spoke to Moses.
- 23:32Speaker 2: As for this fellow, we do not know where he
- 23:36Speaker 2: is from. Now, this is funny because people can be fickle.
- 23:43Speaker 2: We read in the last chapter or maybe the chapter before,
- 23:49Speaker 2: where they said, when Jesus told him that he was
- 23:52Speaker 2: the bread that came down from heaven, that they must
- 23:57Speaker 2: partake of that bread. And their argument was, we know
- 24:02Speaker 2: where he is from. It is not the son of
- 24:05Speaker 2: Joseph and Mary, And did he not grow up amongst us?
- 24:10Speaker 2: Like his familiarity stumbled them and caused them not to
- 24:15Speaker 2: follow him any longer. And Jesus himself said that a
- 24:20Speaker 2: prophet is not welcome in his own hometown. But now
- 24:24Speaker 2: these pharisees claim they don't know where he's from. It's like,
- 24:30Speaker 2: make up your mind. The crowd can go from one
- 24:32Speaker 2: way to the other. Please do not follow the crowd
- 24:40Speaker 2: follow the savior. People can be so fickle, and so
- 24:46Speaker 2: they wanted to revile this man who received a miracle.
- 24:53Speaker 2: You cannot argue against a personal encounter, a personal experience
- 25:06Speaker 2: with the King of kings. Now verse certain. The man
- 25:18Speaker 2: answered and said, why this is a marvelous thing that
- 25:24Speaker 2: you do not know where he is from. Yet he
- 25:29Speaker 2: has opened my eyes. Now we know that God does
- 25:33Speaker 2: not hear sinners. Now this is another it's just a saying,
- 25:42Speaker 2: like you can't build a doctrine on some of these things.
- 25:46Speaker 2: This is just an argument, a discussion of a man
- 25:49Speaker 2: who was born blind. Right, if God does not hear sinners,
- 25:57Speaker 2: then how did he hear a That's what we needed
- 26:01Speaker 2: to get saved. When we cried out to him. How
- 26:06Speaker 2: about people who don't know him and they call out
- 26:11Speaker 2: for help and he shows up, he hears sinners. Now,
- 26:18Speaker 2: he might not be in an intimate relationship with them
- 26:22Speaker 2: as we're called to be as believers, But I believe
- 26:29Speaker 2: that when sinners cry out, he hears us. And so
- 26:38Speaker 2: you got to find scriptures that back up scripture. Right,
- 26:46Speaker 2: But if anyone is a worshiper of God and does
- 26:52Speaker 2: his will, he hears them. Now that is true. If
- 26:56Speaker 2: we worship God and we do his will, he does
- 26:58Speaker 2: hear us. Since the world began, has it been unheard
- 27:05Speaker 2: of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was
- 27:09Speaker 2: born blind? This man were not from God, He could
- 27:13Speaker 2: do nothing. Amen, Now this is amazing how he's having
- 27:22Speaker 2: this discussion with this blind man and these pharisees. You
- 27:27Speaker 2: lost another one in verse thirty four. They answered it
- 27:31Speaker 2: said to him, you were completely born in sin and
- 27:38Speaker 2: you are teaching us, and they cast him out. Now,
- 27:43Speaker 2: how can they say that? How can they say he
- 27:45Speaker 2: was born in sin? They didn't know. I'm pretty sure
- 27:50Speaker 2: they were probably around the same age, right, so they
- 27:53Speaker 2: were probably babies themselves. So how do they know that
- 27:58Speaker 2: this man was completely born in sin, because they probably
- 28:03Speaker 2: held to the same thought as Jesus' disciples did, saying
- 28:08Speaker 2: who's sin that this man was born blind? He was
- 28:12Speaker 2: a popular thought, but it wasn't necessarily scripture, because Jesus
- 28:19Speaker 2: himself said, neither this man nor his parents, but so
- 28:23Speaker 2: that the works of God can be revealed Verse thirty five.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Jesus heard that they cast him out, and when he
- 28:36Speaker 2: had found him, he said to him, do you believe
- 28:41Speaker 2: in the Son of God? See it's important. Now this
- 28:48Speaker 2: man already went through the persecution, he went through the opposition.
- 28:55Speaker 2: He just went through the fire. Now this man was
- 28:59Speaker 2: probably league, just innocently sitting by the roadside mining his
- 29:05Speaker 2: business and didn't even see Jesus, right because he was blind,
- 29:13Speaker 2: and the Lord just either decided to heal him because
- 29:18Speaker 2: his story is not the same story as blind Barti Maus.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Blind Barti Maeus cried out, Jesus, our son of David,
- 29:26Speaker 2: have mercy. And they tried to quiet him. They tried
- 29:30Speaker 2: to tell him the hush, but he quiet out even
- 29:33Speaker 2: more like this man is blind and you're trying to
- 29:36Speaker 2: tell him to be quiet. That's why you cannot follow
- 29:39Speaker 2: the crowd. People are fickle and blind. Mayus received his
- 29:47Speaker 2: sight that way. So here's this guy minding his business,
- 29:54Speaker 2: gets healed and he's immediately thrown into the fire. Like
- 29:58Speaker 2: this is the first thing you see is these Pharisees
- 30:02Speaker 2: and Sagucies all up in your grill. Now, if you're
- 30:06Speaker 2: gonna go through all that, you might as well be
- 30:09Speaker 2: a believer, because you're already cast out the synagogue. Like
- 30:12Speaker 2: you can't you can't go and be a you know,
- 30:17Speaker 2: partaking the Jewish religion. So you're already a cast out.
- 30:21Speaker 2: So it's wise he had to bring this man to belief,
- 30:27Speaker 2: and sometimes, beloved, our belief in Christ will cost us.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Are we prepared to pay the price, Just like recently
- 30:39Speaker 2: we just saw Charlie Kirk get assassinated. He was going
- 30:44Speaker 2: to college campuses preaching and teaching biblical principles. I don't
- 30:53Speaker 2: know what you would want to say about him. I
- 30:57Speaker 2: know there's a lot of controversy around him and around
- 31:00Speaker 2: this situation, but I respect a man for standing up
- 31:06Speaker 2: with scriptures, standing up for the Word of God, and
- 31:11Speaker 2: like many men in the Word in the Bible, he
- 31:15Speaker 2: gave his life for it. He became a martyr. The
- 31:19Speaker 2: question is could we stand for the Lord that way,
- 31:25Speaker 2: the way he has done, hopefully by the grace of God.
- 31:29Speaker 2: The answer is yes to all of us, because we
- 31:34Speaker 2: never know that the Lord will call us, calling us
- 31:41Speaker 2: to make this type of stand in our faith. Amen.
- 31:48Speaker 2: So he says, do you believe in the Son of God?
- 31:52Speaker 2: He answered and said, who is he? Lord? That I
- 31:55Speaker 2: may believe in him? Jesus said to him, you have
- 31:59Speaker 2: both seen him, and it is he who is talking
- 32:03Speaker 2: to you. Hallelujah. So he reveals himself, and this is
- 32:11Speaker 2: a beautiful conversion of this blind man. He said, Lord,
- 32:15Speaker 2: I believe, and he worshiped him. You see belief cause
- 32:24Speaker 2: for action, we need to take time out to worship
- 32:28Speaker 2: him daily and to do his will. Only those who
- 32:36Speaker 2: are true worshipers are the ones who are empowered to
- 32:42Speaker 2: do his will. Hallelujah. First study seven. And Jesus said
- 32:50Speaker 2: to him, you have both seen him, and it is
- 32:53Speaker 2: he who is talking to you. Then he said to him, Lord,
- 32:57Speaker 2: I believe, and worshiped him. Thirty nine. And Jesus said,
- 33:03Speaker 2: for judgment, I have come into this world that those
- 33:07Speaker 2: who do not see may see, and that those who
- 33:12Speaker 2: see may be made blind. Then some of the Pharisees
- 33:18Speaker 2: who were with him heard these words and said to him,
- 33:22Speaker 2: are we blind? Also? You just said to them, if
- 33:27Speaker 2: you were blind, you would have no sin. Now you
- 33:32Speaker 2: say that we see therefore your sin remains. Now that
- 33:37Speaker 2: is tragic, and let's break that down real quick. Jesus
- 33:48Speaker 2: revealed that spiritual blindness is more dangerous than physical blindness.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Look like lost another one.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Those who think they see meaning the self righteous are
- 34:04Speaker 2: actually in the dark.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Love it.
- 34:08Speaker 2: You need to really really study this and examine your heart.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Do you know someone who is self righteous? Sometimes we
- 34:18Speaker 2: can fall into that very trap. Remember, the Bible says
- 34:22Speaker 2: the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. Who can know it?
- 34:27Speaker 2: Our very hearts can deceive us. That's why we need
- 34:30Speaker 2: to stay in the word of God. Are you always
- 34:34Speaker 2: judging others? Are you a judgmental person? Are you overly corrective?
- 34:40Speaker 2: Do you always want to correct someone else before you
- 34:43Speaker 2: want to correct your own issues in your own life? Right?
- 34:50Speaker 2: Are you always critical of others? You want to criticize
- 34:55Speaker 2: every little thing, and you want to correct every little thing,
- 35:00Speaker 2: But then you think you can do no wrong when
- 35:03Speaker 2: it's time for you to be corrected. You're always arguing
- 35:09Speaker 2: against it. That's a sign that you could be spiritually blind,
- 35:17Speaker 2: a pharisee or religious pharisee, and that you could be
- 35:26Speaker 2: a self righteous person. If I were you, I would
- 35:31Speaker 2: break it down, break down self righteous in the Greek,
- 35:33Speaker 2: the Hebrew, study it all the way. As a matter
- 35:37Speaker 2: of fact, I'm gonna do that. Maybe we can do
- 35:41Speaker 2: a podcast and just break it all down, because that's
- 35:46Speaker 2: very important. The light of Christ doesn't just expose, it
- 35:54Speaker 2: also transforms. Don't let pride block your vision. Don't let
- 36:03Speaker 2: your pride cause you to be blind. If we humble ourselves,
- 36:11Speaker 2: he'll give us eyes to see the truth clearly. Let
- 36:16Speaker 2: me say that again. If we walk humbly before our King,
- 36:22Speaker 2: he will give us eyes so that we can have
- 36:28Speaker 2: spiritual sight and so that we can see clearly. Amen,
- 36:36Speaker 2: We'll be right back right after this.
- 36:44Speaker 4: You are listening to the Light of Las Vegas. This
- 36:48Speaker 4: is the hiss hop radio show.

- 37:40Speaker 3: So, sir, So many as hocus con, don't cancel me.

- 39:11Speaker 1: come from? Just look to the.

- 40:01Speaker 1: Ye bye?
- 40:09Speaker 3: You ought to tell somebody you can block me if
- 40:12Speaker 3: you want it, but you can't block these blessings.
- 40:21Speaker 4: You get it in hey me.
- 40:23Speaker 1: If you want it, you have no no, no, no, no,
- 40:28Speaker 1: weapo that's for harm against me. You're just gonna work.
- 40:34Speaker 4: No. You are listening to the light of Las Vegas.
- 41:03Speaker 4: This is the hiss hop radio show.
- 41:12Speaker 2: As long as God don't cancel me, it's gonna be
- 41:17Speaker 2: all right. Come on now. I think that's the perfect
- 41:21Speaker 2: song for the topic today. This blind man was cast
- 41:26Speaker 2: out of the synagogue. They were hating on him because
- 41:29Speaker 2: he received a healing from the Son of God. Come on, sometimes, beloved,
- 41:39Speaker 2: it's gonna be like that in our walk with the Lord.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Are we able to withstand the heat and not fall
- 41:47Speaker 2: away and not get offended? Amen?
- 41:53Speaker 1: All right?
- 41:54Speaker 2: Our next segment is the accountability partner. This is where
- 41:59Speaker 2: we meet up in their life chat where we you know,
- 42:04Speaker 2: just say hey, pray for me or maybe there's something
- 42:08Speaker 2: that you're dealing with. There is one thing about sin
- 42:12Speaker 2: and that the Word of God does confirm that our
- 42:16Speaker 2: sins will separate us from our walk with the Lord.
- 42:21Speaker 2: So it's good that we get with the group that
- 42:24Speaker 2: is working through sin right, working to repent from it,
- 42:31Speaker 2: working to walk away from it, calling up on the
- 42:34Speaker 2: Lord for change, trying to ingrab the Word in our hearts.
- 42:39Speaker 2: And that is what this podcast is all about. Meet
- 42:43Speaker 2: us into life chat so that we can get some
- 42:46Speaker 2: iron that sharpens iron, you know what I mean. And
- 42:53Speaker 2: it was put in my heart because as I work
- 42:56Speaker 2: the altar at church, there's been people that have come
- 43:03Speaker 2: up and they deal with the same sin, like for
- 43:07Speaker 2: a whole year, struggle with the same thing, and I'm like, WHOA,
- 43:13Speaker 2: there's got to be some accountability. There's got to be
- 43:18Speaker 2: someone that can help you pray through this and give
- 43:21Speaker 2: you the word and stuff like that, and sometimes that's
- 43:24Speaker 2: what's missing. Jesus said, go and make disciples, and so yeah,
- 43:30Speaker 2: you can say that this is our little small group
- 43:33Speaker 2: right here on the radio station. As we come together
- 43:36Speaker 2: in the live chat, make sure you log in so
- 43:39Speaker 2: we can connect with you. And also, if you want
- 43:42Speaker 2: to take it a step further, go to the top
- 43:44Speaker 2: left menu, then click the drop down go to podcasts
- 43:49Speaker 2: and go to his Hot Radio podcast and right there
- 43:52Speaker 2: there's a form you can fill out. It's like a
- 43:56Speaker 2: self checklist. Ask yourself these questions. Be honest with you yourself.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Go ahead and make it a discipline. Don't be lazy.
- 44:04Speaker 2: This is your spiritual development, your spiritual walk. I you
- 44:08Speaker 2: need to build some spiritual muscle. Go to that area,
- 44:14Speaker 2: go through that list, do a little self check and
- 44:17Speaker 2: then there's a section that says would you like for
- 44:20Speaker 2: us to follow up with you? Fill it out, send
- 44:23Speaker 2: it in and myself or a team member will follow
- 44:27Speaker 2: up with you and help you with this walk. Amen.
- 44:33Speaker 2: So the challenge for this week is call up your
- 44:38Speaker 2: spiritual partner if you have one already. If you don't,
- 44:41Speaker 2: hit us up, but hit up your accountability partner and
- 44:45Speaker 2: ask him this question.
- 44:46Speaker 3: Say, have.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Your spiritual site been good lately? How is it?
- 44:57Speaker 3: Are you.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Blind or have you been seeing clearly? How have you
- 45:03Speaker 2: been seeing lately?
- 45:05Speaker 3: Have you been.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Distracted by what you see in this natural world. We're
- 45:12Speaker 2: talking about paying bills or stress or even people hating
- 45:19Speaker 2: on you. Have you been distracted by those things? Right?
- 45:27Speaker 2: Then you ask a question, where have I been walking
- 45:30Speaker 2: blind at? Is there a blind spot?
- 45:36Speaker 1: Where is it?
- 45:37Speaker 2: The Holy Spirit? Will we vial it to you and
- 45:41Speaker 2: pray with your accountability partner, And then let's pray for
- 45:45Speaker 2: each other in his life Chat as God restores our
- 45:50Speaker 2: spiritual focus. If you want prayer, just type into life
- 45:55Speaker 2: Chat and say pray for me and we'll come back
- 46:04Speaker 2: later in his life Chat and look and see and pray. Amen,
- 46:10Speaker 2: pray that our spiritual focus will be restored. Hallelujah. Also,
- 46:17Speaker 2: we want to let you know that this is how
- 46:20Speaker 2: radio is a monitored in a reporting radio station and
- 46:26Speaker 2: we are actually we have a rating system right there

- 46:32Speaker 2: song plays, give it a thumbs up and the app,
- 46:36Speaker 2: every station on the app has the ability to vote
- 46:43Speaker 2: for the particular song and you can rank number one
- 46:47Speaker 2: right here on his Hot Radio app and it gets reported.
- 46:56Speaker 2: We also we are with the media base dr T
- 47:00Speaker 2: In gospel radio charts. We are charted by three different
- 47:04Speaker 2: charts a media base. We do have some issues there

- 48:12Speaker 2: on the website. All right, now, it's time for trivia.
- 48:20Speaker 2: Trivia time. The question is what was the name of
- 48:26Speaker 2: the pool where Jesus sent the blind man to wash?
- 48:33Speaker 2: What was the name of the pool Jesus told the
- 48:40Speaker 2: blind man to wash? This is actually multiple choice, so
- 48:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna put the choices down there, and all you
- 48:53Speaker 2: have to do is pick the right one. Amen. It
- 49:02Speaker 2: will be our trivia champ for today. And now our
- 49:06Speaker 2: ranting champ is our brother Zone three. So uh see

- 54:06Speaker 4: is the HISI Hop Radio show.
