[SPEAKER_02]: I'm drawing back with Paul and Paul, it's been an interesting last couple of weeks.
2:05
[SPEAKER_02]: That's who you end the year of a very interesting year.
2:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, in Japanese professional wrestling.
2:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, no, it's been kind of a very weird year.
2:18
[SPEAKER_05]: I think especially for like all the pan, nowhere where I actually so I just like two days ago, I recorded like the like I was on the like big wrestling on my car say, like vessel kingdom week preview shows where we went over a bunch of shows and one of the things
2:39
[SPEAKER_05]: kind of they ask us to assign letter grades to like all of the different promotions we were talking about.
2:47
[SPEAKER_05]: So I would actually be curious what letter grades would you give all Japan and know of for this year?
2:53
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll Japan see plus no or B minus.
2:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, yeah, that's basically in line with what I did.
2:59
[SPEAKER_05]: I also gave, I gave no or C minus and I gave, you know, I made I gave no or B minus and I gave all Japan to C, which so yeah, I think we're basically in line because we've know what my thing was.
3:13
[SPEAKER_05]: The kind of ran out of steam but they finally made a drawing ace and everything and I think a first half of the year was pretty good and then all Japan was just kind of just existed basically and just was kind of like they had some tragic stuff but like some of that was like like obviously like the whole like our thing isn't really on damage shouldn't factor into that and then like the booking is just kind of like
3:39
[SPEAKER_05]: It's like I can't really, like, aside from booking some terrible people, like I can't really disagree with the booking decisions otherwise.
3:46
[SPEAKER_05]: So it's just, yeah, it was just very much a seed because there was nothing blow away in ring.
3:51
[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually really good in my self.
3:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, I was about to say, I wasn't sure if I'd lost you or not.
3:56
[SPEAKER_05]: It's still a bit explosive.
4:00
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I was going to say you said the some of the booking wasn't to was just there and I thought there were biggest mistake was letting June be the triple crime champion to on
4:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh yeah, I know like I fully agree that like with it until they did like brother with his brother match, but then yeah, he held it for like too long after that.
4:21
[SPEAKER_05]: But he realistically should have like lost it on the next offense and then I would probably feel different about the title right and ended by the end where I was just glad it was finally over.
4:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, to be fair, at least they did not put it on you my area.
4:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, he would actually have gotten to his accent as the champion in that would not be good.
4:41
[SPEAKER_05]: That would have been really, really bad.
4:43
[SPEAKER_05]: That would have been like ending the year and like to one of the worst possible ways.
4:49
[SPEAKER_05]: And now it's just it kind of fucked up world tag league, but another wise, but then it probably didn't do too much damage.
4:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Since I feel I have to feeling no more about leaving anyway.
4:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well that.
5:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because they were going to do the fair wall match.
5:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
5:03
[SPEAKER_02]: And real blood and everything like that.
5:05
[SPEAKER_02]: And no more is not booked on anything going forward.
5:08
[SPEAKER_02]: So that is, in fact, seems to be correct.
5:10
[SPEAKER_02]: But, uh, which is unfortunate.
5:13
[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, they may call them back, but they should have.
5:15
[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know what's going on there, but they should have just tried.
5:18
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
5:18
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
5:19
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it, I mean, it is the weird thing.
5:21
[SPEAKER_05]: We're like, where, like, nobody else is really booking them either, right?
5:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, no, like,
5:26
[SPEAKER_05]: had him on a bunch of limit break shows, but then also never really seemed to be willing to like go further with him than that.
5:33
[SPEAKER_05]: So who knows what's happening with him?
5:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
5:37
[SPEAKER_02]: So we move on to, I guess our first bit of news that we will ever go quickly on because I don't think there's much to say it speaks for itself, but great is shutting down its YouTube subscriptions over with the end
5:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
6:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Is this a new strategy because, you know, people think that, oh, well, they did this to get more people to go to their shows live.
6:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
6:22
[SPEAKER_02]: But it actually their business got worse.
6:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
6:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Continued.
6:29
[SPEAKER_02]: And so what do you think is this just a strategy marketing strategy permit?
6:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Or is this like the beginning of the end?
6:35
[SPEAKER_05]: could be both to be honest.
6:37
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, like I said, they had do still have bookings in 2025.
6:41
[SPEAKER_05]: So we know that they aren't going to be like immediately gone, right?
6:46
[SPEAKER_05]: But I could also imagine that maybe a bunch of the people that were like paying for the subscription service might have been like, you know, like
7:00
[SPEAKER_02]: I think was it reported that their subscribers declined or was that just what we were speculating?
7:05
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I could, we could check what they're like, social, what they're like, YouTube account is doing, like if that one is like losing, like subscribers or not, let me double track that actually.
7:17
[SPEAKER_05]: But I could also imagine that maybe it was, I could very well see that I mean as dumb as they are they're not that stupid that they don't see the really obvious thing of like we had a little bit of momentum right and then we went behind this paywall and now we have like nobody like now now there's just nobody actually like watching our shows like notice even less people coming to the shows and like
7:44
[SPEAKER_05]: The income that they got from it very likely wasn't worth it, given that most of the stuff that they supposed to be having to pay, got like seven likes.
7:54
[SPEAKER_05]: So it wasn't making any money.
7:57
[SPEAKER_05]: So the obvious pivot is to just go and just make it free, right?
8:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Anything else just doesn't really make any sense.
8:11
[SPEAKER_05]: subscribers have been basically been like they lost a little bit of subscribers and like April and October this year but it's pretty negligible numbers.
8:24
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean I will say this growth has definitely slowed down a lot like they didn't grow at all this year in terms of like YouTube subscribers.
8:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Whereas in previous years
8:35
[SPEAKER_05]: not like they had like great growth most of the time, but there was like at least consistent growth, like month or one month.
8:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Whereas yeah, like this year, they had two months very actively lost people and then really at most they gained 200 subscribers a month.
8:51
[SPEAKER_05]: So, not great, for sure.
8:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
8:54
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
8:55
[SPEAKER_02]: And she will be gone and who's to say who else will be leaving, although there's no word on that yet.
9:03
[SPEAKER_02]: And surprisingly, I'm kind of also surprised at how out of Tamar and you was juke of both returns.
9:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, who knows if they actually gonna stick around, though?
9:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
9:13
[SPEAKER_05]: So then again, if they weren't sticking around, why even return and not just quietly, just extend your like, injury a little bit longer and then leave.
9:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
9:26
[SPEAKER_02]: So, was returned to pro wrestling Noah?
9:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Some big news that I forgot to put on the right sheet, but I got it here.
9:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Size will find it to turn around for cyber fight.
9:38
[SPEAKER_02]: They only lost 14 million yen this year versus two hundred and twelve million yen the year before.
9:44
[SPEAKER_02]: And the way that this is being sort of promoted on like a cocoodle log, which is like a sort of pro-wrestling and anime-based website in Japan, is they call it the Osawa effect.
9:58
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, the like financial tone around?
10:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
10:01
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, fair.
10:02
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I think that's it.
10:03
[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
10:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, there was also some clear costs cutting.
10:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, no, I mean for sure, but I mean, I would say that they're probably ahead of where they like intend it to be in terms of like they're like cost cut like right because they probably didn't assume that like they were going to sell out all of these buildings that they're focused here or $4 million is what 100 is only like I think it's less than 100,000
10:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's not like with the exchange rate like the exchange rate is like at least like yeah into your rules like one to one hundred and fifty now So like that would actually be like so that's like less than a hundred thousand euros loss Which that I mean we were talking about it before were like the financials don't look as bad because sci-fi to so large Oh cyber agent is so large, but now we're literally in like rounding error like lost her right Yeah, it's it's basically break you it
10:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, like, and we have the factor in that, like, this is giving, like, content for Abima.
11:00
[SPEAKER_05]: That presumably, Abima isn't really paying no or four.
11:04
[SPEAKER_05]: So I would assume that, well, like, I don't, I haven't really checked in a while, but like, I assume whatever, like, numbers, no or does on Abima, like, getting some paying for something similar would cost, like,
11:17
[SPEAKER_05]: cyber agent way more than 90,000 a year.
11:20
[SPEAKER_05]: So they can definitely afford that.
11:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
11:23
[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be curious to see if they just hold steady or they give them more budget or what.
11:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I would just say, I think it's fine it's just keep pushing the younger town.
11:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
11:34
[SPEAKER_05]: I would think you can give them a little bit more budget, but obviously don't go back to the schedule you had earlier where you ran like just an
11:44
[SPEAKER_02]: And for them, yeah, that was that's probably also probably save them.
11:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, no, for sure.
11:49
[SPEAKER_05]: Like the fucking, like the fee venues probably went way down to see her.
11:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
11:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so let's get into then, uh, you know, a show is at Corkin, which has become their sort of, uh, stopping grounds doing well.
12:03
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's the Cardo Kia Mia debut 10th anniversary of the
12:10
[SPEAKER_02]: I cork in front of 1,290 fans, which you know is fine for a Tuesday and it's not like a big time.
12:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's really only the title matches that draw, so I think this is actually kind of respectable.
12:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Give it all it's given all that on a weekday.
12:25
[SPEAKER_02]: So a decade later, Rematch, Kato Kim, he had defeated Hitoshi Kumano in 829 with the Skywalker Albo, because he debuted against Kumano 10 years ago, and Kumano, I guess, obviously, that he had his eye injury, but he has wrestled a couple of times.
12:40
[SPEAKER_02]: He's still like decent for a part of the time, or I'd say, but it was a fun little beginning and kind of just wrestled in his old green rookie tights.
12:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I thought this was fun and it was really just kind of there for to be like a feel good match, basically right, so yeah, no, I thought this was like a nice thing.
12:58
[SPEAKER_05]: And I mean, I have a feeling that Kumano has like no interest in like being a regular anymore.
13:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Like I think he got like a drop and everything on side of wrestling, yeah, but I don't know, I wouldn't be again seeing him more regularly, but he's still pretty good.
13:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Then next up, we had the Udo Koyanagi debut match dekiyotashima defeated Udo Koyanagi in 743 with Rolling Olympic Hell Zero.
13:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And what a good debut.
13:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, go wrong against Udo Shima, right?
13:31
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and they did be, he might get to go to Udo Shima because he's going to be the junior
13:41
[SPEAKER_02]: We tend to fix us to the Midori Makahashi and Hiroto Sariya debut match and Hiroto Sariya defeated Midori Takahashi in eight minutes with the crowd hold and this was also a very good opener for two guys debuting.
13:56
[SPEAKER_02]: I quite enjoyed it for what it was and these guys these guys can be generational rivals because you know
14:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Seru is clearly the star of this rookie crappin.
14:08
[SPEAKER_02]: But Dorlie, we don't really talk about how she has an asshole face.
14:12
[SPEAKER_05]: It's gonna take a while.
14:15
[SPEAKER_05]: No, I really liked what they did here with the bookings.
14:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Don't I can't really say anything about the free of them just yet because obviously there's need to see a bit more of them.
14:27
[SPEAKER_05]: But I mean, if plans shake out the way Noah has, I think it was very smart to book these two matches specifically because again, the Daikyoda streamer was like, you're the Koenagi match.
14:38
[SPEAKER_05]: That's going to be a junior title match down the line most likely.
14:43
[SPEAKER_05]: So I can already envision them using that for video packs.
14:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Same with the other one, the Surrier and Takahashi match were like,
14:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, you can already see them, like, whenever these two face off and like a big match that like,
14:59
[SPEAKER_05]: they're going to like use footage from this match in that video package.
15:03
[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, I think it was very smart to put these against it.
15:06
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure.
15:07
[SPEAKER_05]: That.
15:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Just and we think there's more rookies to be debuting too, right?
15:11
[SPEAKER_02]: And other three.
15:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's a one guy that got injured, but still training.
15:16
[SPEAKER_05]: So what like, I think Mara Fujis had that basically he's like out with injury, but he like wants to return essentially like one more rookie.
15:25
[SPEAKER_05]: And I think another one has quit the dojo, and I do think to have, I think there's more people in the dojo, yeah.
15:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so it's very, very good sign.
15:36
[SPEAKER_02]: In the same turn around from where we were like three years ago when like that's what's like the promotion of like Kaito Kiyomiya being like the only guy on the roster on the 30 Yes, it's fine, but I feel like it's interesting that like no, this is probably going to require While I mean we've already talked about him a few extensive other show But this definitely is going to leave due to be a walkie in Kai Fujimura at the last generation
16:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, basically, I mean, I think Kai maybe has like a little bit more hopeless, but I think Junta is just, like the way he did just did that angle, where like heromo beat Junta, and then Dike Otashima comes out with like the most any company has ever been like
16:21
[SPEAKER_05]: like fucking whatever the name of the kid was in like Toy Story of like I'm not interested in playing with you any more junta I'm only interested with playing with my new toy diky odoshima like like kind of actively throwing him into the trash Yeah so next up was the curious second match of the evening the collision of decenies
16:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Kato Kimi, Harutoki, Alejandro, Kai Fujimori, Nelmichi, Marafuji, Jack Morris, Jutimi, Awakin, Andy Wu, 1117 with a tag of Superlegs hold from Kimi, Awakin, you guessed it.
16:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Jutakin, Awakin, yep, we're going to be reading that specific ending of like, who'd be who trained for while I think.
17:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
17:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so, you know, that was, it was a fine little match, but it was really just, uh, I don't know, setting up for uh, this next match, which was the 60 minute Iron Man match, kind of, kind of defeated, kind of killed me a 43 and of course, 60 minutes.
17:19
[SPEAKER_02]: So we had, kind of defeated Qmea with the professional in 25, 55.
17:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of that beat Qmea via
17:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Q Mia then beat Kenow at 30901 with a Skywalker elbow and then Q Mia won again at 4235 with the figure for a leglock.
17:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Cut back or that, you know, the whole thing he does before and then Kenow to feed a Q Mia with the end ran at 5023 and then Q Mia to feed a Kenow with a such shining lantern at 5458 and then Kenow defeated Q Mia with a super radical kick at 59 minutes.
17:57
[SPEAKER_02]: This was incredible and absolutely in the conversation for one of the best backs of the year in my opinion.
18:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Just everything about the booking decisions with a lot of the pinfalls I dug.
18:10
[SPEAKER_02]: These guys were hard for the entire 60 very little downtime.
18:14
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought, you know, it's funny because people were getting kind of versus kind of fatigue and I think there are
18:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Some of their previous peaks like that one match on the new years a couple years ago, but then all of us Come roaring back with this incredible match of the year candidate.
18:31
[SPEAKER_02]: I just thought this was fantastic.
18:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, no, this was excellent.
18:34
[SPEAKER_05]: I have to say I'm not a fan of Iron Man matches
18:39
[SPEAKER_05]: But, no, this was about as good as you could have done this, right?
18:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
18:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, just the back and forth was great, like the pacing was like the pacing was insane.
18:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Because very often when you do these and like you know they're going 60, like they just kind of just don't do anything for like 45 minutes a century.
18:57
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, it's like this wasn't that.
18:59
[SPEAKER_05]: This wasn't that.
19:00
[SPEAKER_05]: This was just work at like super insane pace.
19:02
[SPEAKER_02]: If they had done a 60 minute draw and work like this, you would have never thought about it until they called for like 45 minutes.
19:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, basically.
19:11
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm also happy.
19:12
[SPEAKER_05]: I was afraid that they were going to go for the like really lazy like, oh, we're tired as time expires and then we have to go into overtime more like they call it a draw and at the end or something like that.
19:23
[SPEAKER_05]: And the fact that they didn't do that and Ken Hodges got like a definitive victory here.
19:28
[SPEAKER_05]: I thought that was really strong and just like the other thing that I think a lot of like the trap that a lot of Iron Man matters fall into is like people getting beat with moves that they normally wouldn't get beat by.
19:40
[SPEAKER_05]: And this again, I think it showed just a wide variety of finishes that these two men have.
19:45
[SPEAKER_05]: and like they waited just like did that here as well like they basically both like just took and tried to ask now and just threw that each other and yeah I thought this was awesome.
19:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Also I can report my mom was over for a visit as I was watching this match and she looked at Kenna and was like hey I've seen that guy before which is the first time she has ever set that
20:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'll know they did do the kind of cat, like hits the shutting lancer and then just can't quite crawl around a kind of time expires.
20:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but I mean do that act with so many sort of like yeah, actually after the overtime.
20:32
[SPEAKER_02]: But I you know what I did like I like that the final kind of fall where you're like, oh, was that a rough screw up or not?
20:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Because like it was like literally a 3.01 kick out from kind of oh, yeah But I would have an absolute kick out.
20:50
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought that was a green one, especially because it made sense of the context of like Kind of's rustic is through back to the day in it match.
20:58
[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, you know
21:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, certainly like, um, I felt like that this show reestablished kind of because you know, I mean, we've talked about it enough about like, you know, it's ongoing issues as being a geek.
21:13
[SPEAKER_02]: And so like, this mad, prince thing, which some people don't like, I thought it worked on this evening and I feel like kind of almost really reinvigorated.
21:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I just, like I said, I just don't think he's ever going to be that like top and drawing star.
21:29
[SPEAKER_05]: But I mean, he's still obviously going to be a main event or like he's still like he's going to hold the street and sit high at the again.
21:35
[SPEAKER_05]: And all of that, like he's going to main event shows.
21:38
[SPEAKER_05]: But I just don't think he's ever going to be, you know, like given that like ace type of run where he just carries the promotion for like the majority of the year.
21:51
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, what actually would be a good comparison would be kind of like the situation that New Japan was in like a long time ago at this point Jesus is like with Tanahashi and Nakamura I'd be like a Nakamura was like the guy like at the start and then he got a bunch of chances on top and didn't really draw like
22:12
[SPEAKER_05]: that great.
22:13
[SPEAKER_05]: And then the company went with Tana Hashi instead.
22:16
[SPEAKER_05]: But that didn't mean that Nakamura and Obi came like an important, right?
22:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Like he was still like a top star in the promotion, just not the top star in the promotion.
22:25
[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's kind of the trajectory that Kaito's on, which interestingly now that he is also like developing a bit of a wacky character, like the same thing Nakamura, that's I think that back set of even more were like,
22:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think that's just what's happening and I do think we're going to see a double turn at some point I think more and more this time goes on.
22:44
[SPEAKER_05]: I think we're gonna see a double turn with Feminine and Ozawa
22:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we got to do something to flash with TM-T000X because I'll talk about it from this next show, but who fits just getting boring and pretty good?
22:56
[SPEAKER_05]: It's very much feels like you have Osawa and then a very stinky rest of the faction, basically.
23:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
23:04
[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to be a comparison closer to home for Cairo, but I mean, what do you see about the shades of Marfuji?
23:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, as the, uh, couldn't quite hack it, but still sort of, it still considered a lunch.
23:24
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
23:24
[SPEAKER_05]: I guess that's, that's also a really good comparison, yeah, but it's like, again, also excellent, like, again, similar to, like, kind of, right, like, one of the most, like, obviously gifted restless, you've ever seen from, like, day one, yeah.
23:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you know what?
23:40
[SPEAKER_05]: I can see it.
23:42
[SPEAKER_05]: I can see it.
23:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, like 10 years from now, no one's going to be like the legend, Kaito Kiyomiya.
23:47
[SPEAKER_05]: And it's like, I had to put though, don't look at this drawing record.
23:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
23:52
[SPEAKER_02]: And because it's like, well, like, look, they try.
23:56
[SPEAKER_02]: And then after that, with Marfugi, they try.
23:59
[SPEAKER_02]: When then, of course, there was a bizarre final title run.
24:03
[SPEAKER_02]: And then, of course, everything that happened in Akiyama
24:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Sugira and more shima and kanta and it's just like you know
24:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Marfooji started doesn't re-enmerge as the sort of quote-unquote no-a-s until like everybody's gone.
24:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody's gone, right?
24:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think that's, I mean, I think the only difference to that situation is obviously that like like the guy that you go with instead of Marfooji in this case is like a young guy instead of Misa were destroying whatever is left of his body.
24:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
24:38
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, in a title right in that
24:40
[SPEAKER_05]: I will maintain considerably contributed to his death, which, yeah.
24:46
[SPEAKER_02]: So Paul, Marfooji won his first J.C. title on September 9th, 2006.
24:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know what year he won his second?
24:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Wasn't that no way?
24:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Didn't he win it from Nakajima after Nakajima won it from Sikyura after the whole, after the whole debacle with Suzuki Gun?
25:10
[SPEAKER_05]: Was that on the second round?
25:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
25:12
[SPEAKER_05]: I was had as furtoring.
25:13
[SPEAKER_05]: So what was- wait, didn't he- didn't he take a title from Suzuki?
25:17
[SPEAKER_02]: He did, and that was his third round.
25:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay, that was a fortune.
25:22
[SPEAKER_05]: So that would have been 2011, right?
25:26
[SPEAKER_02]: No, 24.
25:27
[SPEAKER_02]: So he won, oh, that was 20.
25:30
[SPEAKER_02]: He won almost eight years between GHC title reigns.
25:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Jesus.
25:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Like seven years ten months, right?
25:36
[SPEAKER_02]: And then I, yeah, if we're mentioned, go Sugira, Kenta and more Shima all had their, it's like multiple runs.
25:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, go and more shema both won the GHC title like yeah, more she has three times and go twice before Mark Fuji's second reign that's actually I'm going to find this thing you get to 2014 Kent is on his way when does Kent Ali 2014 to 2015 anyway
26:02
[SPEAKER_05]: around them.
26:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like it's basically when NXT is like starting to like really a more serious health declines and goes gone in all Japan.
26:12
[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, first time I should say so yeah, that's when they finally turn to him again.
26:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but it was basically there was nobody else left to turn to, yeah, so I'm actually pushing them.
26:27
[SPEAKER_05]: That isn't the long, that probably until most recently was the longest time between like GHC title rowing number one and two.
26:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, until Kenta broke that brand.
26:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Until Kenta broke it.
26:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, right.
26:43
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it just goes to show like one day.
26:45
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, obviously, a little Mar Fuji was obviously incredibly influential stylistically in ways that kind of wasn't even though I think kind of was an incredible pro wrestler, but in terms of drawing and top star, it is like, it's not as big and as long as people think he was just like, oh, we'll legend now.
27:03
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, the thing though is, like, it, it, it, merifudry, strong record is bad and by comparison of the time, because obviously nowadays people would kill to draw like the numbers merifudry was like drawing early on.
27:15
[SPEAKER_02]: People would kill to draw the number, they would kill to draw the numbers that he did versus Suzuki.
27:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but now that's true as well.
27:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Or at least the beginning of like the first half of Suzuki.
27:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, yeah, people like because that was a failure, but in a bit, but like early on, like that's a Suzuki gun invasion kind of reinvigorated.
27:32
[SPEAKER_05]: No, it's just that it went on for a long and then it very nearly killed the promotion outright.
27:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, uh, well, look, in some ways it prefigures,
27:42
[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to talk about, I'm going to go on like my tangent and digression here.
27:47
[SPEAKER_02]: But if you want to talk about some of the things that I do, I'm not, and Paul, we've talked about this.
27:51
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we're as much as doomers as some other people are on Japanese wrestling.
27:54
[SPEAKER_02]: But if you do want to treat some of the malaise, and there are certain answers seated to that malaise, and I think I would also include like the voodoo murders of the mid 2000s in that.
28:03
[SPEAKER_02]: But Suzuki Gun is also like the part of the blueprint to House of Torch or Slash.
28:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
28:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Team 2,000 X, whatever else, a H8 slash, a Weed-O-T-I slash, all of these, yeah, Heelfax set of running a mock-in in Perro.
28:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And have it, don't don't forget about have it.
28:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, have it because of that Heel's plot.
28:24
[SPEAKER_05]: I know, I know that that's the joke.
28:28
[SPEAKER_05]: No, but no, no, it definitely is because like it was something fresh at first and no, it desperately needed it at the time because like who the fuck even wasn't nowhere anymore and like 2014, 2015 right like it's yeah it's gotten really bad like that roster is like
28:45
[SPEAKER_05]: like people are talking about like Noah from like 2022, but it's like, no, that Noah roster in like 2015 is just like kind of nothing.
28:56
[SPEAKER_05]: They are really, it's pretty dire.
28:58
[SPEAKER_05]: And yeah.
29:00
[SPEAKER_05]: then did the early on the numbers are good and then it just I think a similar to team to follow the next the moment it turned to cashy cigarettes kind of went out.
29:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh yeah, that for sure, right?
29:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Also very often it's double turns of cigarettes over the turns of cigarettes over the gears twice, right?
29:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that really added to like, that words is going, it's going, no, it's going over.
29:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, oh, your idea is to just do the exact same story again.
29:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Cool, that's what it's about.
29:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of malaise in Pro, after the match, Keno is on the Mike Cutting of Pro, and a mysterious Holy Spirit attacks him.
29:40
[SPEAKER_02]: And then another one does, and you're like, who is this?
29:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, if you're listening, there's commentaries, Stu Fulton spoiled this because it's the good place.
29:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Before they even unveiled themselves.
29:55
[SPEAKER_02]: And so, I went in Keto offered Jack Morris to join Oliver Belly and I should just add.
30:01
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, Paul, I, you know, I am, I do not get worked up about bringing in foreigners generally like some people do, but this is pretty like, why the fuck are you bringing in these guys?
30:13
[SPEAKER_05]: And he like, is it just because you can like this isn't even like a WWE connection thing like this is just like, it's not no one else will touch them.
30:30
[SPEAKER_02]: also call them, but they probably couldn't afford that.
30:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
30:34
[SPEAKER_05]: I would not try.
30:34
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I will say this.
30:38
[SPEAKER_05]: Stylistically, they fit with half a pretty well.
30:41
[SPEAKER_05]: And you know what?
30:43
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what?
30:44
[SPEAKER_05]: And rather have either of them than Odyssey.
30:48
[SPEAKER_05]: I take, like, I don't know, I take, I take a big long dog gallows tighter rain over, like, oh, you see.
30:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
30:57
[SPEAKER_02]: That's that's close, but yes, Carl's better than, uh, a call for sure, yes, it's better than Zion.
31:03
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll give him that.
31:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
31:05
[SPEAKER_02]: But yes, this just feels like, um, this just feels, I don't know, they don't need these guys.
31:10
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
31:11
[SPEAKER_02]: I know that they have a name, but there's not evidence that they've been a
31:16
[SPEAKER_02]: In other words, it were on me when they had any, you know.
31:19
[SPEAKER_05]: So, first, like, when no Japan was firing on all cylinders, everybody was still in agreement that the heavyweight tech division was absolute dark shit.
31:29
[SPEAKER_05]: And who was on top of that tech division for a good chunk of that time period?
31:32
[SPEAKER_05]: A good brothers.
31:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
31:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Although it's kind of funny because if, uh,
31:38
[SPEAKER_02]: I think Colin, it's probably could have become a bigger star if he had just stayed as a given where he would go back in like 2012.
31:43
[SPEAKER_05]: What do you mean, I guess, but I mean, what I will always say about that, like we have, he has like, he has that G1 final and not a whole lot else to his like record.
31:57
[SPEAKER_05]: So I know maybe he could have developed into something, but I'm just like, I would like to see more evidence of it and he had that one really great match.
32:08
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought he was, I thought he was going somewhere back then, you know.
32:11
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I, I thought so too.
32:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, it's just he just kind of like never developed beyond that.
32:17
[SPEAKER_05]: It's just that that's also like, well, that's much evidence that people would like not try.
32:21
[SPEAKER_02]: And then like hold the title for three years.
32:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
32:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
32:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
32:26
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that is too much.
32:28
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's a motivation thing, for sure, as we, well, no.
32:31
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I just feels pointless and useless and like what, you know, Jack Morris from your sacrificial lamb, you put your very over hunk of a foreigner to who's probably going to do the job to these old.
32:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, not bad old, but you know what I mean.
32:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
32:48
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I did see some things that they are booked outside of Japan in January as well.
32:54
[SPEAKER_05]: So.
32:54
[SPEAKER_05]: there is a chance that maybe it's just a one-off anti-Lews, but then yeah, I think you're looking into it.
33:02
[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're working for a regular gig, because AEW is not going to touch them, and neither has TNA, even, well, who knows, maybe the TV deal will get them back, and that's certainly not impossible, but doesn't feel like it right now.
33:17
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
33:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Especially with the WWE hookup, they could just get free NXT talent to use instead of pay whatever
33:24
[SPEAKER_02]: So this is why it seems like it's not for that.
33:27
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, at least they haven't signed because yeah, they list it just under like Participating players on like the normal website.
33:35
[SPEAKER_02]: So yes, and also on the show Brushi has been announced for a January first a long-sighted expo, whoever that Incredibly to see a nighter-shaped person teaming with boosie
33:54
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even understand what that means, why do they?
33:57
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's also a thing of like, not, it's not like tickets are really like flying of the shelves for Budacon.
34:03
[SPEAKER_05]: If you've got Tetsuya Naito, you know, you probably want to tell people that it's Tetsuya Naito, so you sell some tickets.
34:11
[SPEAKER_05]: And I will say this, I actually did the thing where, like, on the Noah website, because they only like...
34:17
[SPEAKER_05]: right like that like because all of the profiles are just like numbers so you can if you actually like go on to the website and you actually look at like what like the most recently created profiles are on the website you can sometimes get yourself like spoilers for like people coming into
34:32
[SPEAKER_05]: And they did learn that less and not fortunately.
34:36
[SPEAKER_05]: And if you go to like the most like Greece and profile, which is number 601, it just says xxx on that.
34:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Because it was Loki hoping that I would go then, it just said, it's a little bit, no, it doesn't.
34:50
[SPEAKER_02]: So after this show, we had it just the show on the 13th that lies the going in for 332 fans.
34:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Apparently this, then you holds 500, so I don't know, that's not great.
35:02
[SPEAKER_02]: pitch black for a little bit on the video with two titan mattress on it as well with two title matches on it as well like you loudly they load at that show up relatively for a 500 series yeah I mean yes I mean this is already absurd to put this many titan mattress on this
35:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
35:21
[SPEAKER_02]: So just to go, I only watch the top three matches on this show.
35:24
[SPEAKER_02]: But so the JC, have you wait, Junior have you a taking title?
35:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Daga and Daki or Ashima defeated Tatasuke and Junmasoka in 1219 with the, when, when, Daga pinned, Tatasuke with the 59.
35:38
[SPEAKER_02]: To make their second defense of the tiles, I think this is the best back to the show.
35:42
[SPEAKER_02]: It's still hard your team, 2000x bullshit with Yoshi Townsend to it, ring side.
35:46
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, fearing a bit, but I thought Daki looked great.
35:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think him and dog are such an odd pairing, but it works.
35:55
[SPEAKER_02]: I couldn't say go out and run and watch this back, but I mean, I just thought it was on the show, which I guess isn't saying much.
36:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
36:04
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I think they've kind of settled in to like,
36:06
[SPEAKER_05]: And I think as champions, also they did the whole press conference thing as well.
36:13
[SPEAKER_05]: The press conference gimmick, they actually previewed this one as well.
36:17
[SPEAKER_05]: And I have to say, thank you to Shima, look, good and a suit.
36:20
[SPEAKER_02]: So even more evidence that he's perfect to be the junior ace in the near future are the sorry main event was Yoshiki and Amura will cruise and Kazuki Fujita what a team.
36:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Defeating Mattibus Leia, Saxon, Huxie, Muhammad, Yone and 1041 with the discharge from Inamur on Yone.
36:39
[SPEAKER_02]: And sorry, now it looks like Yone.
36:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I can see just the midlife crisis of Manavu Sawyer contentious, yes, so I've got some vitamins and now it's like your head, yeah, I mean, Oh, definitely a sports car.
36:57
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, like, I don't know, definitely like all like a muscle car like a camera or something.
37:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Or did he buy a cyber truck?
37:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, can you even get those entrepreneurs?
37:07
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
37:08
[SPEAKER_05]: maybe.
37:08
[SPEAKER_05]: That would be like a nightmare to drive for Tokyo.
37:12
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I think it's a nightmare to drive in general, but it's especially the Tokyo.
37:16
[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, that was just a nice little set me made of actual 10 minutes and then made of that Naomi chimar Fuji and Kenow defeat a massive kid in me and Takashi Sugira in 1807 when
37:30
[SPEAKER_02]: And then, um, so I was a failed first defense, so another V zero rain.
37:35
[SPEAKER_02]: And I, you know, I don't know.
37:37
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it was horrible or anything, but again, big surprise.
37:41
[SPEAKER_02]: There was interference in the record pulled out of the ring.
37:43
[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, they did a kick to, um, so Garra was a chair with kind of doing a PK with the chair set up on.
37:51
[SPEAKER_02]: So Garra's to Garra kicked out of that.
37:53
[SPEAKER_02]: They ruled the reference of the ring.
37:54
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, all of that.
37:56
[SPEAKER_02]: You're shithatsu doing his thing.
37:58
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just, it's just dragging, because you had the two tile matches with both of the on the show.
38:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think especially with like team 2,000 eggs, it's like, like it's becoming so much more or like formalized the way they do like interference and everything.
38:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, like it is kind of starting to become really tiresome.
38:15
[SPEAKER_05]: That's just, like again, similar to like the house of tortruffing, but it's just like no variety.
38:20
[SPEAKER_05]: It's like, it's starting to become like beat for beat the same thing every single time.
38:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
38:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, nothing.
38:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't twice on on the show is yes, that's too much as well.
38:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
38:31
[SPEAKER_02]: So Mark, you know, nominated Bouchy and X to be the next challenger and apparently Bouchy and X are going to show up on the 23rd at Korkin.
38:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
38:41
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, another V0 defense.
38:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Although that's smart booking in terms of getting people at that Korkin a week before he or other big show.
38:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then if you have like confirmation that it is nighto, hopefully it sells some like last minute tickets of all yeah so no it's got a like they actually have three more shows before January 1st was is interesting, but there's the shows on the 17th in
39:19
[SPEAKER_02]: There's not much.
39:20
[SPEAKER_02]: It's all just multi man tags.
39:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so then we go to the no effects giving 25, which is a strange name for show today's before Christmas, but, uh, so on this show, it does actually look interesting with the aforementioned appearance.
39:36
[SPEAKER_02]: So we got will crews out of a hot dog food, you're more of a sex and hoxley, strategic condo and eight off.
39:41
[SPEAKER_02]: We've got, as soon as you could tell me, how do you make a horrible Tatiske in June, Masoka?
39:46
[SPEAKER_02]: We've got to know a full gift Christmas battle royale with Soya, Oka.
39:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Yone, Tedaguchi, Fujita, Harutoki, Daga Hayata, Haroki, Dutabiyo, Waki, Black Metsu, Ray, and Koyanagi.
40:03
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a lot of people.
40:04
[SPEAKER_02]: We've got a non-title match.
40:05
[SPEAKER_02]: It's Mara Fujin, Kenow versus Suri, and Takahashi.
40:08
[SPEAKER_02]: That could be a lot of fun.
40:10
[SPEAKER_02]: And we've got Romo Takahashi and Daki and the guy versus Amoska and Daki Odishima.
40:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, that's a match.
40:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, that's a match.
40:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's actually the, that's the second to last profile that they made.
40:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what website is taking a guide.
40:22
[SPEAKER_02]: So, circle that one.
40:24
[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be your classic inter promotional match with the young guys going out and trying to prove something.
40:29
[SPEAKER_02]: We've got the godfather 25 years of greatness celebrating Stughera's 25th anniversary, which is crazy because he's so old.
40:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, again, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's just 25th anniversary, it's 25th anniversary at 55, instead of, you know, like with other wrestlers, where it's like, in their mind, yeah, yeah, for other people, like, I mean, again, we just had to kind of keep me at 10 year anniversary yet, not even for it.
40:58
[SPEAKER_02]: and he'll hit like his 25th anniversary at like 45 yeah and so it's a gear versus kenta and the main event also it's showcased 25 kaiti match if you got you know shiki and amura and masakitamiya versus kaito kiyami and ketsuya and no so i gotta assume that kitami is taken in the fall there yeah probably um very strange booky for kitamiya after his
41:22
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I still kind of feel like that that might have been caused by the over that was injury.
41:27
[SPEAKER_05]: And they pivoted to be like, oh, let's give it to the other team to fall next member in the tournament.
41:34
[SPEAKER_02]: That being said, I think this is a good pre-buy con show.
41:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah.
41:39
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's basically just there to like get people hyped up for that show.
41:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
41:45
[SPEAKER_02]: And they do a good job of that.
41:46
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's go to...
41:48
[SPEAKER_02]: the Brutacon card.
41:49
[SPEAKER_02]: So for the jeets, jeets, jeets, you're heavyweight tag team title three way of max.
41:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Dog and deck, you owe the Shimovers, Alejandro and Codford, you're more versus Ida and Chewney Condo.
41:59
[SPEAKER_02]: I would keep the titles.
42:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Right when they are.
42:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they lose them here because they do do have a tendency to flip these titles around like two to three defenses, but I would definitely, I really, I really like what I've seen from Daga and Diky, so I would keep it on Demosol.
42:18
[SPEAKER_02]: And then we've got Massacre and Mia Taka.
42:20
[SPEAKER_02]: She's so good.
42:21
[SPEAKER_02]: I Tata's gay, June Massacre, covers the Kazuki Fujita Minores Suzuki.
42:25
[SPEAKER_02]: She'll hate Taniguchi and Junta Miyawaki.
42:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know it.
42:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, who do you think is taking the fall?
42:32
[SPEAKER_05]: There's many different options.
42:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Junta.
42:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
42:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, you don't, you don't think Suzuki is going to lay down photo one, two, three.
42:41
[SPEAKER_02]: And then, yeah.
42:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'm impressed.
42:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Atlas title will choose versus Saxon Huxley.
42:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I can't believe we're going to say this, but this is probably the one time I'm actually kind of looking forward to a Saxon Huxley match it, because I think they're going to try it.
42:56
[SPEAKER_02]: And they're going to try to do the big boy match type thing.
42:58
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and I don't think they're going to get a lot of time either.
43:01
[SPEAKER_05]: So,
43:01
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think that's going to help them as well, like I assume they're going to get like a crisp seven minutes and It's just going to be all action.
43:10
[SPEAKER_02]: I like Cruzo, although I've heard that WWE has around
43:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's probably, again, because progress is also so very much aligned with WBE.
43:19
[SPEAKER_05]: You see the fucking shitty AI gun for posts that they made?
43:24
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, I did.
43:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, embarrassing.
43:27
[SPEAKER_05]: That's the only thing I can say to that.
43:28
[SPEAKER_02]: And next up, we've got Cantor, Okususaki, and Tatsuya, and no N.I.
43:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Adiversites, you can tell, okay.
43:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Muhammad Yoneh, Hajj Beohar and Haroki.
43:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Another just pulling the same man tag.
43:41
[SPEAKER_02]: For the national title, a dragon band, Alfa Wolf, which we've known for a while, special tag match in vision.
43:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Kadokimi and Jack Morrisos is Carl Anderson, Luke Gallos.
43:53
[SPEAKER_02]: G-C tag team, I don't know if she didn't move.
43:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Naomi Chimart Fuji and Kenovers to the aforementioned Bruce Lee and X. G-C Junior Heavyweight title, Harlow Takahashi versus Amasuka and for the G-C Heavyweight title.
44:05
[SPEAKER_02]: uh, your shiki and immorality versus Osawa, but I've seen some people kind of down on this card.
44:10
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's great, but I don't think it's that bad.
44:13
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I think it's solid.
44:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
44:15
[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's very, I think it's very solid.
44:16
[SPEAKER_05]: You have like everything that you need on there, like, like you have like, all of the titles are getting defended.
44:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I think the programs that you have made sense, right?
44:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I think,
44:28
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, like, okay, the junior heavyweight title, let's just, like, tactile, but that's just like a brand and thrown together freeway, but like, think that's fine for the opener of the show.
44:37
[SPEAKER_05]: I think poking to brothers against each other is a really good idea, because...
44:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Like I said, I used to complain that they would always have, like, Dragon Bain was alpha balls constantly.
44:49
[SPEAKER_05]: It's like the only single smash.
44:50
[SPEAKER_05]: And now they've actually kept them apart.
44:52
[SPEAKER_05]: For I think like a long time at this point.
44:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Like it's been like at least like a year and a half.
44:58
[SPEAKER_05]: Since like these two have like faced each other.
45:00
[SPEAKER_05]: No, uh, in like a single smash, if not longer than that.
45:04
[SPEAKER_05]: So like they're going to try as well.
45:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Like they're going to go absolutely nuts.
45:08
[SPEAKER_05]: The good brothers, dad at that bond isn't great.
45:13
[SPEAKER_05]: I am really curious on, like, look, seeing Naito on, like, his first match back in Japan, after leaving New Japan.
45:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm terrified of that.
45:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Naito versus Mark Fuji sequences.
45:26
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it can't be any worse than the Murafuji Bushi sequences.
45:30
[SPEAKER_05]: That's true.
45:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I hope I'm just going to drink myself really badly, though.
45:36
[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to be... Yeah, exactly.
45:38
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to be on the building again after I was also in the building for the Bushi Murafuji.
45:44
[SPEAKER_05]: At least, at least this time, I won't leave early because the main event is making me depressed like I did on that show.
45:52
[SPEAKER_05]: We don't like hero movies.
45:53
[SPEAKER_05]: He wrote with a Marx, I was like, I mean, I might disagree a little bit with how they got there.
45:57
[SPEAKER_05]: But like, you know, that start, like the, like, the match itself makes sense.
46:00
[SPEAKER_05]: And it's going to be great.
46:01
[SPEAKER_05]: And then same with like, in a mirror, I was a Java was like, yeah, in a mirror's character's weird, but his inring is great.
46:07
[SPEAKER_05]: And like, I have no doubt that, like, unless there's like, in insane amount of bullshit, I think that's going to be a great match as well.
46:15
[SPEAKER_05]: And I, I feel like they're going to try and cheap the bullshit out of like the
46:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and I do think we're going to end the night with like Osawa raising the title yet again at the end of the boot of the country.
46:30
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't completely rule it out.
46:32
[SPEAKER_02]: The NMR retains, but I think Osawa was.
46:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
46:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Because like the thing is like, where do you even go with the NMR title right now?
46:40
[SPEAKER_05]: If he has to speak both Osawa and Kaito?
46:43
[SPEAKER_02]: doesn't know where to go.
46:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
46:45
[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to go with Ozawa's title ring.
46:47
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, if he can run through some people again, like a you can like, you know, you can take or you can defend it against canter.
46:55
[SPEAKER_05]: They still, yeah, right, like he still hasn't beaten canter.
46:58
[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
47:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Which again, that's why I feel like Ozawa was going to win the N1 and then lose to canter yet again to like,
47:07
[SPEAKER_05]: get that one, get that one across even stronger.
47:09
[SPEAKER_05]: So I feel like that's still like a target for him is to actually beat Kenna, still have Kenna in the mix as well.
47:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Like the still some people, he can wrestle for this.
47:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Or like NATO, like if NATO is actually around a bit longer, that's like a match, you book for like a sumaholt or something even bigger than that.
47:30
[SPEAKER_02]: For sure.
47:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what do you think?
47:33
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's bushy.
47:36
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry, it lost tranquillous day upon.
47:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Are going to win the titles?
47:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
47:44
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it really depends.
47:45
[SPEAKER_05]: If this is a long term finger, I could definitely see them win the titles here.
47:50
[SPEAKER_05]: But then again, I mean, I have a bunch of commitments outside of no already.
47:54
[SPEAKER_05]: I have my...
47:55
[SPEAKER_05]: 16 karatickets right here and the both book for that so they're not gonna but then again you know what this wouldn't be the first time that a Noah champion is just fucking off to Europe to like go with one 16 karat yeah because we're gonna do the same thing so you know what yeah
48:15
[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
48:27
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's Noah, which I think has sort of, I think it's had a better couple final months to the year, because things were getting a little shaky, but even though Team Cruz has an extra spill so long in the tooth now.
48:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I will say, generally Noah, Justin Rees and years has never been really good at like,
48:49
[SPEAKER_05]: Sticking the landing at the end of the year, but at least this year like like that there's been worst cases in this year Let's put it that way.
48:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh definitely well look you got you look they made they put the title on two new guys for the first time This year.
49:05
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's pretty good.
49:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah exactly
49:07
[SPEAKER_05]: and like two young, well, it called, in a birth kind of a young guy.
49:11
[SPEAKER_05]: So, but like, those are, obviously, it's a massive success.
49:15
[SPEAKER_05]: And then, at least they finally put the trigger on in a mirror and then, we'll see how, like, I'm really excited about, no, I'm 2026.
49:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I think there's like the bones of like a really great role in this promotion now.
49:29
[SPEAKER_02]: For sure.
49:29
[SPEAKER_02]: So we move on to Al Jepan and we got a bunch of real-world tag leaks shows to go over.
49:34
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm not going to put too much time on each one.
49:38
[SPEAKER_02]: No, but because that's not very good.
49:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, we'll start with there's like, well, that gets you away because there's a couple of us so on the 20th that Kumamoto food exchange haul which I was wrong about it was not the food market.
49:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it wasn't first by that name But I actually thought that the time the tournament that's on this show we're actually kind of solid because you had
50:04
[SPEAKER_02]: and can't go machine-mo, defeating Dan Tamar and Hikaru Sato in 930.
50:08
[SPEAKER_02]: And Suzuki pinned Tamar after a front kick, and I thought that was solid.
50:12
[SPEAKER_02]: And I also enjoyed Rai Kihonda and Nihari and Amura, defeating Tsukiyo, Yagi and Ryzen Kiyato in 1429, when Hani is a final vent on Hiyato.
50:22
[SPEAKER_02]: And the main regret of Go-Siyo's lucky in Shotaro Shino versus Rushashi and Seki Yoshiyoka, like 21-11 with the go-on there from Shiyo-Zaki on Yoshiyoka, which I thought was a really good main event.
50:34
[SPEAKER_02]: even though the finish was going to be kind of eye.
50:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I actually forgot about this show.
50:41
[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay.
50:42
[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of the other shows are in fact forgettable.
50:45
[SPEAKER_02]: Each day we go to Fukuoka, Kentos hometown in front of 632 fans, which is, you know, respectable for all Japan on a spot show.
50:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah.
50:55
[SPEAKER_02]: The only real world tagly matched on the show, Musashi Teki or Shioka defeated Red Eye Ab and it tells versus countout.
51:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it was fun.
51:03
[SPEAKER_02]: They, uh, they did the thing.
51:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Real world tagly, uh, and again turns out that that would be Red Eye Ab and tell us it's only lost in the entire tournament.
51:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, uh, real.
51:13
[SPEAKER_02]: So Zion and Odyssey, if you can't tell me a heart and debut voice with an 1840, when, uh, Zion,
51:20
[SPEAKER_02]: pinned spits with a diving hat, but I will say this.
51:24
[SPEAKER_02]: This was not as bad as I thought it could be.
51:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think this is a lot that Zion pinned Smith these days were where they feel about.
51:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
51:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, I'm for sure.
51:33
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that's other cases as well.
51:34
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, oh, yeah, I think he might be done.
51:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Honestly, yes, I would not well, they might bring him back for the carnival.
51:42
[SPEAKER_02]: I could see that, but if they aren't and you think he's done.
51:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he should be.
51:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, doesn't add it.
51:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know, he's not the worst take.
51:51
[SPEAKER_05]: No, but like he probably like constant like commands of fairly considerable prices.
51:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's not worth the money is what we cost.
52:00
[SPEAKER_02]: So the next short that in Hiroshima industrial Hall East Exhibition Hall in front of 520 fans on November 30th.
52:09
[SPEAKER_02]: We had Atsuki Ouyagi rising Hado defeating Takashi and Kuroshi or Tokyo Japan in 1047, with the Hurricane Roda from Hado on Kuroshio.
52:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember much other than it was inoffensive.
52:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, thanks to Atsuki and Hado.
52:23
[SPEAKER_02]: And then we had the semi-made event, Hokutou Amori and Kuma Rashi defeated Usashi and Sekyo Shiyoka in 1649, with the narcissist press from Amori on Musashi and Paul.
52:34
[SPEAKER_02]: I quite enjoyed this match.
52:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think it was one of the best matches in the tournament.
52:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and uh, or more it has had a good it's like a half of 20.
52:45
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
52:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, for sure.
52:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Like I think it's tack work was as always.
52:48
[SPEAKER_05]: It was pretty soft was pretty good.
52:50
[SPEAKER_05]: And then also.
52:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Again, yeah, yeah.
52:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Perfect.
52:54
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
52:55
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
52:57
[SPEAKER_05]: uh, he's a he's over as well.
52:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, hope to go to super over.
53:00
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it might look, I still think there's a ceiling on him, but I think it might be time to maybe slightly transition him out of comedy role and give him a in some ways I almost think like he should have been ghost partner or human partner or human aoyaki's partner.
53:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's he, yeah, to me, he should be the tag team partner and tag you champion with a bigger
53:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, like maybe, you know what, you know what, he, who I think they should put them with, they should put them with you my hands on it.
53:33
[SPEAKER_05]: That's interesting.
53:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
53:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Right, but he's like the guy that like takes the fall for a while like, and that it's like triple crunch and when they have like tag team mantra.
53:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
53:42
[SPEAKER_02]: You can sell some photo books.
53:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
53:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, exactly.
53:45
[SPEAKER_05]: You can do that as well.
53:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
53:48
[SPEAKER_05]: It's important them out for a night, like report while they're like out for a night of drinking.
53:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
53:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and then the main event ran out of it and tell us if you did Dan Tamer and her car was out of 1431 with the double choke sign from my abe on Tamera, uh, it was just there.
54:05
[SPEAKER_05]: I thought, yeah, yeah, I'm kind of disappointed with the whole run Dan and thought to have the economy and that was just there.
54:11
[SPEAKER_05]: There was nothing really there.
54:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought to be bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit,
54:23
[SPEAKER_02]: December 6th
54:26
[SPEAKER_02]: And that, oh, suck, oh, suck, Eddie on a reading for them.
54:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I think 30 fans, which I think is a very solid number for them for this show.
54:33
[SPEAKER_05]: That, that out drew, I'm pretty sure that out drew the triple crown match that did an Ozuck out of here.
54:38
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
54:40
[SPEAKER_05]: But did it get more evidence that for some reason the triple crown match has never drawn a Ozuck up.
54:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
54:46
[SPEAKER_02]: So real world, technically, did Tamar at Carisada defeated Bussashi's Tokyo shit and let me 34 with the power bomb from Tamar on Mashashi.
54:53
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it back, this was probably their best match.
54:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
54:57
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I would say this, Massage and Sikyushioka had plenty of people's best match on the tournament.
55:01
[SPEAKER_05]: I think that the best match.
55:02
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that was the best team in the tournament.
55:05
[SPEAKER_02]: For sure.
55:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Can't tell me a hard and gave you voice to a junior.
55:08
[SPEAKER_02]: If you were to ask you a young, rising hat on 14, 14, 14, with the world ball of ball from Smith and Hayata, I thought this was solid too.
55:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, and this is like sort of like one of those maps from like, okay, I could tolerate Davey Boy as as yeah, yeah, and of course, because like in this one, especially, he has like two people that are just like bumping their ass off of him, I think.
55:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then main event Kadecki Suzuki and Kengo Machimo defeated Go Shio Zaki Shutara, Sino 13, 53 with a double arm suit flex from Suzuki honesty.
55:35
[SPEAKER_02]: No, pretty solid.
55:36
[SPEAKER_02]: I still think it quite it what I thought it could have been.
55:40
[SPEAKER_02]: But I did think it was good.
55:42
[SPEAKER_05]: No, it was good.
55:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I would argue that maybe this was like Suzuki and Kango's best match in the tournament.
55:48
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, you were right.
55:49
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's kind of hard to think with this tournament with like a lot of matches being very similar.
55:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
55:54
[SPEAKER_02]: And Anzai and Ayo Yagi would have been like, they would have had some good matches.
55:59
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it is, okay, since we're finished the blocks, like, this was incredibly dry, but I did not, I was in the, some Takashi and Jiro stuff.
56:08
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it was that.
56:10
[SPEAKER_02]: horrible.
56:10
[SPEAKER_05]: It wasn't bad.
56:11
[SPEAKER_05]: No, it was just very dry.
56:13
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I'm like some other tournaments.
56:16
[SPEAKER_02]: This did not feel like a drag because it was quick and there was only like three to four mat.
56:20
[SPEAKER_02]: There's like four show four matches for show max of the tagly.
56:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right?
56:24
[SPEAKER_02]: So it was not a slot to get through.
56:26
[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, it was not a slot, but it was all such a thing.
56:29
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, we've definitely seen better real little tag links than this.
56:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, absolutely.
56:33
[SPEAKER_02]: So in this all comes down to the show on December
56:39
[SPEAKER_02]: One thousand three hundred and seven fans, which I think was down a little from last year, but whatever.
56:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't it a little the week?
56:45
[SPEAKER_02]: So asky Ariagi, rising hato real in a way and show to Kofuji, defeated Musashi, Sekiyoshiyoka, Hukara Sato, and Seiko Tachibana.
56:54
[SPEAKER_02]: in 1238 with Firebird Splash from Ayuriyaki on Tachibana.
56:58
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm really good, solid junior opener.
57:01
[SPEAKER_02]: And then, Oklahoma, more in Kumurashi, defeated Dakashi and Kursu, Tokyo, Japan, and 7-11, he's schoolboy from Omori.
57:09
[SPEAKER_02]: on Kuroshio, which was probably the worst match in the show, actually.
57:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and it's the disobeyed.
57:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Diceke's second mode of return match.
57:18
[SPEAKER_02]: Shotaro Shino, go Shiozaki, and go Shiozaki to be a Dan Tamar and Diceke's second mode of the 157 with the go-on-lariate from Shiozaki and Tamar and like I expected this rocked.
57:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Like another underrated thing, losing the second mode in the tagli.
57:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no.
57:32
[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like Dan and like second motor would have been like a lot more than like Dan and thought of it in that tournament.
57:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, a lot.
57:43
[SPEAKER_02]: But today what it is, right?
57:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
57:45
[SPEAKER_05]: You can't train it.
57:46
[SPEAKER_05]: You got injured.
57:47
[SPEAKER_05]: So, I mean, I don't think it would have miraculously turned it into an amazing tournament, but I do think it would have like well, between the
57:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, no, it definitely would have been a lot more Jews in there.
58:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, so we have the next up, Zenichi versus Gajidu Coru.
58:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Madoka Kakura, Yoshiki Kato, and Ishin, you might as I june, Saito and Mr. Saito in the rookie doing 1522 with the Candere Luna from Kato on Doi, Nepal, this rock.
58:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
58:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
58:25
[SPEAKER_02]: It's amazing.
58:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
58:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
58:28
[SPEAKER_02]: So I feel the match for you.
58:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Have more team.
58:30
[SPEAKER_02]: We tease more.
58:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Kakuda and Anzai stuff, although I don't know what the topics around that are going to be because Kakuda is the Dreamgate Champion.
58:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Evie, make it the quadruple crown.
58:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
58:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Because they had a great match in the carnival, but I'm glad that Kakuda's sticking around.
58:48
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's good.
58:50
[SPEAKER_05]: issue and cattle challenge for the always attack titles and they're probably should yeah oh yeah I don't know like I've been enjoying like Yoshioka and uh there it is and Masashi but like like keeping these guys around what just be pretty great it is time to do that and I would assume that's probably going to build the ASCII and Hayato or probably the play coming for these as well yeah and I think
59:17
[SPEAKER_02]: like once he loses the dream gate, I think he's gone like if and so like you know what actually I don't think it really matters if it's championed by then like I think he's gonna get a triple crown shot then we shall see then the semi-main can't tell me a hara hedaki Suzuki in right behind it if you're a David Worcester junior kango machimo and neoria no mora in 1046 with a double egg roll up Nelson move with a mehara pinning spit another job
59:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Paul, I forgot to mention, Anzai, what's show was it?
59:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Anzai pinned Kent on a tag match using it shut down German.
59:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that just think that was a great piece.
59:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Because what they did is they teased June and Anzai were both going to challenge.
1:00:03
[SPEAKER_02]: And then Anzai pinned Kent on a tag match and then clarified everything.
1:00:07
[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
1:00:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
1:00:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Now I'm looking at it.
1:00:09
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't mean I think we're missing a show on the run trade.
1:00:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Let me check you.
1:00:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, like wasn't there to show on the go.
1:00:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:00:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I think that match happened, right?
1:00:17
[SPEAKER_05]: It was like June and it was June and anxiety teaming Yeah, I can stay before encounter.
1:00:24
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that wasn't that was in Nagoya on the seventh.
1:00:27
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't have that on the one sheet.
1:00:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Nope.
1:00:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Right?
1:00:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Pretty sure it's not.
1:00:31
[SPEAKER_05]: It's the last one before we talked about the
1:00:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so we had also, uh, Hogato Mori Cooper actually, if you didn't hammer in her car, so I don't want that show, which wasn't bad.
1:00:47
[SPEAKER_02]: It was Odyssey and Zion defeated day or even the Mori and Rayuki Honda, which, uh, you know what?
1:00:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Paul?
1:00:54
[SPEAKER_02]: I got a gift.
1:00:56
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know more of some props for that.
1:00:58
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, no, they carried them into pretty decent mansion.
1:01:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:01:02
[SPEAKER_02]: And then Musashi Takiyoshi defeated Bakanojai, which was Suzuki in Kenko, and then the titans who calamity, Red Eye Abba, and Talos, defeated Habit, Goshio-Zaki-Shirpara, or Shino, to basically decide the block.
1:01:14
[SPEAKER_02]: And you thought that that was also pretty solid.
1:01:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I would say honestly, I thought, actually, you know, that, like, remember, that I thought, like, I think that Nagoya-Shirp was actually, like, the most, like, solid out-of-the-block-night space, like, the out-of-all-off-the-goats.
1:01:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:01:29
[SPEAKER_02]: So we get to the main event here.
1:01:31
[SPEAKER_02]: of the core kid for the real world tag league finals.
1:01:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Renai Abe and Talos defeated Zion and Odyssey in 2409 with the death alert from Iabe on Zion and Paul.
1:01:43
[SPEAKER_02]: I got to say, I thought it was fine.
1:01:46
[SPEAKER_02]: It went too long.
1:01:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but it had its moments.
1:01:50
[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought the finishing sequence kind of well.
1:01:53
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, given how long it was and who was involved in it, it could have been a lot to worth.
1:01:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we could have been more worse.
1:01:59
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not even the worst real world tag we final.
1:02:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I could tell you that.
1:02:03
[SPEAKER_05]: It's not.
1:02:04
[SPEAKER_05]: But it's also been seen much better, real world tagging finals as well.
1:02:07
[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, definitely like when I saw like who was in it, while I was once I was clear who was in it, was I was like a little bit dreading the match and it, it,
1:02:23
[SPEAKER_05]: It exceeded my expectations.
1:02:25
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think it was a great match, but it was good enough if, as I said, I was like, you know, obviously went too long.
1:02:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it went too long.
1:02:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's like basic around there.
1:02:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Which, you know what, given for these guys, is probably to see me, do you know what I'm talking about?
1:02:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's the worst real world tagly finalist.
1:02:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, which one of the 2005 things?
1:02:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, she moved out and acyboto versus team 3D.
1:02:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh yeah, oh god, I had purged that from my mind.
1:02:53
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I would you remind me that that happened.
1:02:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh yeah, I know that, that, that, that, you know what this is, this, the compared to that match doesn't have a 5 star match, you know, that one is that one is, if you want to see like an all-time bad match in all Japan, go watch that one, please, it's Christ.
1:03:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we can, I think we can say with the exception of maybe, uh, to, to, we're off of Joe lands is, uh, teams better than Dudley.
1:03:21
[SPEAKER_02]: I think we can sit tight and self calamity.
1:03:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, they are better than the Dudley's.
1:03:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I would say all of these teams except for like,
1:03:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Jiro and Takashi and maybe Zion and Odyssey.
1:03:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know that.
1:03:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Team 3D.
1:03:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
1:03:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Carl Sato and Dan Tamer are better than you know question.
1:03:38
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh yeah.
1:03:39
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know for sure.
1:03:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Like if I think it's more like if, and he carries out that actually wants to do like a minimum mode of effort.
1:03:45
[SPEAKER_05]: It's absolutely better.
1:03:48
[SPEAKER_02]: I have to say, I did think though that this match, Zion's clearly improving, I thought, when it one of the things I feel the final that I definitely thought about.
1:03:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
1:03:56
[SPEAKER_05]: no he for sure's like he's trying like he's actively like trying to like make up for his shortcomings and everything yeah he's definitely like he's a guy like like that's for me like if there wasn't a whole lot of the situation I would be a lot more into havoc than I actually am like I had to listen to this theme song so many times that I don't know if I just developed Stockholm syndrome
1:04:21
[SPEAKER_05]: I think it kind of slaps.
1:04:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:04:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and then also, so, uh, second motto and she'll brawl after their tag match.
1:04:29
[SPEAKER_02]: So he, second motto challenge, just shoot it for the gay or TV title.
1:04:32
[SPEAKER_02]: I hope she will return.
1:04:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but I mean, that we never know.
1:04:35
[SPEAKER_02]: But match, because it kind of felt like maybe this was what second motto was guaranteed, since he's now going to be sort of a regular with all Japan.
1:04:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:04:44
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, honestly, I'm not like, I'm happy.
1:04:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I would love for a screener to have a lot of longer tighter in.
1:04:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:04:51
[SPEAKER_05]: But I also can say that it would be unhappy with a dicek second motor or like, tighter in either.
1:04:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Just feel like it.
1:04:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, I mean, that look, I think some people are actually like, the second word is like completely washed up.
1:05:03
[SPEAKER_02]: That's not true.
1:05:04
[SPEAKER_05]: But he's not, no, it's not if, like again, he's not like top 10 worker on the planet level.
1:05:10
[SPEAKER_05]: And it just seems, yeah, yet he had a really high mountain to come down from.
1:05:15
[SPEAKER_05]: That's why he seems much worse than he actually is now.
1:05:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
1:05:22
[SPEAKER_02]: So, now we talk about what has, I'll Japan get to win good graces because they announced that they, I always forget how it's about Karama coming in and I talked about who Karama actually is and it's assets, yano, yano, yano.
1:05:42
[SPEAKER_02]: who has finally resurfaced in Japan.
1:05:46
[SPEAKER_02]: This obviously got a very critical reception from the international fan base, but there was plenty of criticism from the Japanese fan base as well, although I cannot say that it was uniformally negative and there were people being like, oh, I haven't seen him in a while, I decided to see him.
1:06:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, fine.
1:06:01
[SPEAKER_02]: But here's also the thing with everything coming out of his, like, what's he actually charged
1:06:08
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think they were charged, like they definitely were arrested, they definitely were arrested by the cops at the now or so, but I don't think they were ever actually charged.
1:06:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:06:23
[SPEAKER_02]: What I think also probably has them.
1:06:26
[SPEAKER_02]: upset fans in Japan is not to hand it to Joe Geotani, but he at least did a press conference to apologize for his actions.
1:06:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
1:06:35
[SPEAKER_02]: So how do I know just the rest sort of went to Mexico?
1:06:38
[SPEAKER_02]: And then return because like even Yuma and we are going to have to do a press conference where you apologize.
1:06:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:06:43
[SPEAKER_02]: for his vendor vendor other wrestlers have done it for press conferences for far less serious offenses and again Joe Joe Tony had to do a press conference right yeah so I think that the lack of contrition and probably also added to Janos some critical reception in Japan for Janos like basically sneaking them back in under a mask yes bless the other thing yeah no that that's that's that's a very
1:07:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, oh, and my dad, they're clearly aware of the responses got because ASCII had a tweet being like, oh, lots of people have opinions about this.
1:07:24
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll come see me beat them, right?
1:07:26
[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay.
1:07:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, which is I think a reddit do then to tweet.
1:07:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's really fucking dumb.
1:07:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Man, like, I know we all, like, you know that it's fucking, it's, it's book, man, like, it's, you, like, can't do that with, like, real, like, world, like, accusations like this, it's just, no, it's bad.
1:07:48
[SPEAKER_02]: So the question is, are they gonna,
1:07:50
[SPEAKER_05]: do you think they drop them after this after this backlash or what are you saying like I feel like if they hadn't gotten any backlash I think he actually would have won I think you could have become like a regular in that case if they yeah what I've gotten but I feel like given how much backlash they've gotten and given that you know
1:08:09
[SPEAKER_05]: All Japan had to have was in a bit of like hot water like publicity wise for like you know like with like the whole like Naked Rima fiasco and them getting like season-desis that by the Loki family The Detention of our death and all of that.
1:08:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think not to not shoot you and it's a car while leaving Shoot you it's a car while leaving swammy leaving.
1:08:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my yeah, like I think it probably think like they probably can't afford any like
1:08:39
[SPEAKER_05]: bad PR like this like the reason to keep booking and pushing like all this is because unfortunately Japanese fans don't give a shit or don't know or don't know yes yeah
1:08:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's, it's, look, it's different when it's a foreigner.
1:08:53
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's the same.
1:08:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, how it is.
1:08:55
[SPEAKER_02]: That's just how it is.
1:08:56
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm like, I understand why people will be like, well, it's again with Odyssey.
1:09:00
[SPEAKER_02]: And yes, it's a pattern.
1:09:02
[SPEAKER_02]: But that's not going to deter them.
1:09:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, this might, this might, where like, if there's like active, like, but it's even more like, and that's a thing like Japanese, like, like, the Japanese fans on the internet can be vicious.
1:09:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, really, well, really fucking vicious.
1:09:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's be honest here.
1:09:20
[SPEAKER_02]: How many times has the company put at a, please leave our rest with a loan.
1:09:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, please we would like to like please refrain from flander on social media by which we mean please stop sending death threats to our wrestlers.
1:09:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and of course not obviously like it's different when you have a wrestler that's accused of some kind of horrible, but it's just like the willingness to to be that vicious in general sort of.
1:09:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:09:50
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I think this sort of did blow up in their face because I think it's more like giving some of the people that have returned in Japan.
1:09:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it would have been possible to get them back into the days or all the way.
1:10:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but I'm saying I think that they could have brought them in a different way and been not blown up in their face like, yeah, like if they're trying to speak in one of them, I asked him might have gotten away.
1:10:11
[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say a different gimmick.
1:10:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, oh yeah, not the gimmick he was also using and to make the code where he had also lost the mask.
1:10:21
[SPEAKER_02]: So it was obviously, they did not do that.
1:10:24
[SPEAKER_02]: whatever you want to say about it finds dishonest and sketchy, but it's like, you know, so better, it's a better protected your own interests than what they did.
1:10:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you can't remember.
1:10:35
[SPEAKER_05]: It was like, God, nobody pays attention to Mexico.
1:10:37
[SPEAKER_05]: No, it's going to be able to figure this out.
1:10:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, everybody immediately figured it out.
1:10:41
[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't know.
1:10:42
[SPEAKER_02]: We're not shocked me if they drop them, but, honestly, yeah.
1:10:44
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, they are bringing him a lot of fanfare, right?
1:10:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Like they're bringing him in immediately giving him a title shot and everything.
1:10:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:10:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what brings me to that question, Paul, is this a healthy thing or a go thing or not?
1:11:05
[SPEAKER_05]: I have people, I have seen people immediately like throw shit at a daydiki, but I think I have to break people's heart and say I very much think this is a go thing.
1:11:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, they could have brought him in earlier, yeah, exactly, and they bring him in basically immediately after they start booking go.
1:11:25
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I think it is, that's where I think it is.
1:11:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, no, I am very convinced that this is like this is, this is go as idea to book this guy, but you know what, you know what gives me an excuse to go to my record and set on the third.
1:11:38
[SPEAKER_02]: So we have the card for the 31st, not proper match order, but you can sort of figure things out.
1:11:45
[SPEAKER_02]: So this is where they bring them in.
1:11:48
[SPEAKER_02]: So ask you to be able to recognize the hide-on,
1:11:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Hadaki Doi, Nuruki Doi, Puminoi, Abe, and Seiko Tachibana.
1:11:58
[SPEAKER_02]: We have a New Year's Eve rumble.
1:12:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Again, Pa and I hate when they do this, because they have the traditional January second New Year's Battle Royale, and they should just stick to that.
1:12:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:12:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:12:07
[SPEAKER_02]: So we had to delicately do them back to back.
1:12:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Kikashi, Kurshu, Tokyo, Japan, Azawa No.
1:12:14
[SPEAKER_05]: 1, Jack Kennedy returned, because it's on a holiday.
1:12:23
[SPEAKER_02]: or a weekend, right?
1:12:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:12:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Paro.
1:12:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Kengo Machimo, which is, I think, a waste of him.
1:12:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:12:30
[SPEAKER_02]: I sang your Saito, a car sato, and Paul, I don't a conking dub, not some motive.
1:12:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:12:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, hey, I mean, fucking why not, right?
1:12:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I know, these are just pointless anyway.
1:12:43
[SPEAKER_02]: We have Hedeki Suzuki, and you call me a motor versus right-key-hond and show to Kofuji, which will probably be the oven there.
1:12:50
[SPEAKER_02]: if not the junior match.
1:12:52
[SPEAKER_02]: We have a three-way tag team three-way six-man tag team match like they think they're dragging games.
1:12:59
[SPEAKER_02]: We got Zion, Odyssey, and Chotaro Shino versus Renai Abe, Talos, and Daisuke Sekobotot, which is a crazy trio.
1:13:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
1:13:08
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's also like the the Hawke-to-Gun team is just there to take the fall.
1:13:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and we got right because the other one is like both to like set up the tag title match and uh and the um the Georg tv title match like hope to goodness there to like get the shit beat note of somebody else into teams And when we have Hokutou more a rashi and Paul the returning Cyrus which yeah, I'm a little bit surprised that he's coming back I thought that they had sort of dumped them because they're like you missed the the champion
1:13:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well.
1:13:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, it was an injury and everything in that and I understand, but, you know, that could just be like an overlooked, you know, you got injured, you get passed over, right?
1:13:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, they brought in Talos, which was basically like his replacement.
1:13:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:13:57
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's interesting, but I will take Cyrus over David.
1:14:01
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, no, no, no, absolutely.
1:14:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, a lot of people on this roster would take them.
1:14:05
[SPEAKER_02]: I would take silence over them.
1:14:07
[SPEAKER_02]: So we've got a side of brothers versus have special singles, bachelor, June, side of versus Gochio, Zaki, and Paul.
1:14:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I've been going to win this.
1:14:15
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, maybe sort of thing I said on my car as well, it's like, I feel like the kind of rushing fruities like go singles matches because they think, well, or it's not, it's not going to hang around us like a guy to do like big singles matches with.
1:14:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, maybe maybe, but yeah, well, it was because I mean, I mean, you can do either June, like because I feel like whoever wins here kind of has to get the first title shot right like over whoever wins for the main event.
1:14:45
[SPEAKER_02]: The June versus can tell.
1:14:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we'll talk about them.
1:14:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, buddy, or you go back to, well, that depends who wins, right?
1:14:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Like,
1:14:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, yeah, well, I feel like, I almost feel like given if this is like kind of an inefficient amount of content as mentioned, as I had to win, because can do recently be both of these guys exactly, right?
1:15:04
[SPEAKER_02]: But what we'll talk about the main event because I had a couple of perspectives I want to run by you.
1:15:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, all is a take team championship.
1:15:10
[SPEAKER_02]: We got we saw she's secretary of she
1:15:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, yeah, over the like next to the main event.
1:15:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:15:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:15:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:15:24
[SPEAKER_02]: And then main event obviously for the triple crown can tell me a horror defense against Yuma on the side.
1:15:31
[SPEAKER_02]: This will be Kentos third defense of the tech.
1:15:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, his third defense.
1:15:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, who do you defend other than Hokutou Murray?
1:15:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, he defended it against go.
1:15:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, right.
1:15:41
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
1:15:41
[SPEAKER_02]: I forgot about that.
1:15:44
[SPEAKER_05]: That's a, that's just a lot about that.
1:15:46
[SPEAKER_05]: That's actually.
1:15:47
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, look, I just hope that it is a speed run for go for some reason because if he's just hanging around as a full timer, they completely botched, but not doing go for it.
1:15:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I will absolutely not be kidding me.
1:15:59
[SPEAKER_02]: So otherwise, but, uh, yeah, look Paul, you know, it's funny because we said, well, we think we should, we've got to get the kind of back on canto.
1:16:07
[SPEAKER_02]: But honestly, I've got to go with the enzyme.
1:16:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:16:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Like that's a thing.
1:16:13
[SPEAKER_05]: I think Ken to need it to win the title again.
1:16:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
1:16:18
[SPEAKER_05]: But it's not in this time anymore, at least not as like a guy who holds the title.
1:16:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's like, yeah, but it's not as like a guy who holds the title, you're like, you know, like in his previous reigns, like he held it for like a year or whatever.
1:16:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Like I don't think you need to do that anymore.
1:16:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:16:36
[SPEAKER_05]: And I mean, heck, this isn't even as short as title, right?
1:16:39
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
1:16:40
[SPEAKER_02]: But I guess what I'm kind of thinking at is like, what's the story for both of these gods?
1:16:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Because this could, of course, be it.
1:16:47
[SPEAKER_02]: This should be an era defining feud or rivalry.
1:16:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:16:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, okay, so I mean, they had a match early on in Anzai's career.
1:16:56
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was Kentos 15th anniversary match or whenever it was.
1:17:01
[SPEAKER_02]: and Cantor won that, because Anza had not won the Triple Crown yet.
1:17:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Then Anza and I wins the Triple Crown and beats Cantor right after the Champion Cardinal, Cantor won.
1:17:09
[SPEAKER_02]: So what's the story here, Anza is going to be the Okada, or do you drag this rivalry out by having Cantor return?
1:17:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like there is a thing you could do with Cantor return.
1:17:20
[SPEAKER_05]: But what do you mean, I mean, maybe if they pivot now, because here's the thing, like that's actually not the guy,
1:17:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Right like the guy that they were actually doing the story of like oh, you ma'am, you ma'am, I need to overcome this guy Yeah, that has been you ma'am, yeah, yeah, so I don't know if they
1:17:39
[SPEAKER_05]: pivot now with maybe Ayoyagi is in a bit of the dark hours now after everything he's done.
1:17:47
[SPEAKER_05]: But I think otherwise I think because the answer he has been pretty dominant against Kentron, I think that is also one way to establish a new guy is just like, absolutely.
1:17:57
[SPEAKER_05]: He just beats him constantly.
1:17:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Ayoyagi is big rival.
1:18:01
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, because I mean, not that Kent was old, but like Ayoyagi is like,
1:18:06
[SPEAKER_05]: more of like, he's the same age bracket, basically, as like, as and so.
1:18:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:18:12
[SPEAKER_05]: So I think that makes that that one, you can probably carry on a bit longer than you can for like Kento and and so I mean, Kento and Anza is still like a few to can cut carry on for like 10 years or so, but like, yeah, you realistically, you could do A or Y. I mean, it's the end of like 20.
1:18:27
[SPEAKER_02]: So, um,
1:18:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I guess my only thoughts are, can't go with still undisputed top draw, ace, and it's just like, I think some of the attendances are softening a bit.
1:18:38
[SPEAKER_02]: So you also have to think about how do they feel about that and what are they, how are they taking from their perspective?
1:18:44
[SPEAKER_02]: But ultimately, and I just wanted to make the case for counter retaining, because I kind of see it, but ultimately in my first gut reactions know, Anza, you just got to go with them.
1:18:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because I feel like he lost some momentum when he took that
1:18:59
[SPEAKER_05]: So you just got to run with this guy and make him your next star and that's also the other thing like I think the promotion also felt a lot more energetic Lot less energetic sorry while he was gone like I think that time he was not there like that really was like
1:19:15
[SPEAKER_05]: the dark days of this year for all Japan, for sure.
1:19:18
[SPEAKER_05]: And that was really when like the cyto range just completely just died at death, basically.
1:19:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:19:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And look, I mean, first defense against June Sato would be good for Anzacas.
1:19:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Anzacas was June Sato's first defense.
1:19:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Ooh, yeah, absolutely.
1:19:34
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't even think of that again.
1:19:36
[SPEAKER_05]: That would be, that would be, that would be June when beating golden.
1:19:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:19:40
[SPEAKER_02]: And well, yeah, I mean, that's the sort of thing.
1:19:43
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, you know, and I'll just say this, if if not for whole the whole Karama thing, I would feel a lot better of the direction of this promotion because I think there's some things starting to come together.
1:19:59
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it depends, yeah, if that guy sticks around or not, but I will say this, I've actually the guy I'm most interested in, and what he does in 2026 is, uh, Radio Gehonda.
1:20:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, well, it's probably time to have him.
1:20:11
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the story should be he wins the world road, and then he wins the title.
1:20:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it doesn't even have to be a long-tabble range.
1:20:19
[SPEAKER_05]: No, I think you just have to win a deal.
1:20:21
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the new year's show.
1:20:22
[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll go quickly because I'm probably not going to be back until after the third.
1:20:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Once all the dust is settled on.
1:20:30
[SPEAKER_02]: All the depend and on the Budacon, which I might add might be a paper view because people don't see it on rest of you.
1:20:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but I mean last time I think to add at the Sumo Hall to really late, right?
1:20:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
1:20:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and also know of reboot at should you could face?
1:20:46
[SPEAKER_05]: which I might go to over the curriculum if I can get a ticket for that.
1:20:50
[SPEAKER_02]: So you probably want to get that now, because it's not a big deal.
1:20:55
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if I want to buy the tickets for that now.
1:20:59
[SPEAKER_05]: I need to decide, I haven't decided it yet.
1:21:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Because that's also a big Japan curriculum that I could go to instead of.
1:21:06
[SPEAKER_02]: So, so, January 2nd, Corquin, we've got, Paul, I think this is very interesting because this batch is titled,
1:21:16
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's go Shiozaki versus Shota Kifuji.
1:21:20
[SPEAKER_05]: But I mean, that's going to be two guys that are just going to come out at a corner in a track suit, right?
1:21:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say, is this going to reveal who's coming out in the track suits?
1:21:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, it generally do that before the show, like before the show even starts, right?
1:21:33
[SPEAKER_05]: So they're probably just going to have them there in the track suits, and then they both take them off and just start rest like, yeah.
1:21:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, so we've got the era fools versus Okotou Army, Bakanoji die.
1:21:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Becky says he can go machimo and the car was shot over to Okotou Mari, Arashian Cyrus, from Arashian Cyrus, and then.
1:21:51
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll Junior have you a preliminary tag match.
1:21:53
[SPEAKER_02]: You got ASKIA or Yakin rising high over his corona, and they settled him with Miss Zada.
1:21:59
[SPEAKER_05]: And it didn't even have the dignity of like, I'm sorry, you're a video psycho and then I'll just eat and you're giving him Miss Zada.
1:22:07
[SPEAKER_02]: And then eight man tag.
1:22:10
[SPEAKER_02]: We got Kento Miyahara, June set on Musashi, Sekiya Shiyoka versus Yuma, Anzai, Soutaro Shino, right Kihon and Dan Tamara.
1:22:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Very interesting.
1:22:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think that might be a little bit of a spoiler that like Anzion drew not like winning right because like he actually you know what he is another thing where I think this might be the planet to go with because weren't they talking about doing a number one continuous match between them
1:22:37
[SPEAKER_05]: then that completely disappeared from anything they ever talked about and that then turned into they team will feature other against Ken to and Davey Boy.
1:22:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Like they never did that number one content.
1:22:48
[SPEAKER_02]: No, because as I just pinned it then can't go quickly.
1:22:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
1:22:54
[SPEAKER_02]: So they got to match it.
1:22:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they got shown auto war on February 23rd.
1:22:58
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that seems like the world wasn't the
1:23:06
[SPEAKER_02]: No, but it was in another venue that they usually don't want.
1:23:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay.
1:23:10
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that was one of those basketball arenas.
1:23:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:23:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:23:15
[SPEAKER_02]: So I could, I sort of see that.
1:23:17
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what that.
1:23:18
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like you could run into a war at this point.
1:23:20
[SPEAKER_02]: You probably should just do it.
1:23:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, probably.
1:23:22
[SPEAKER_02]: You want to kind of say that these guys are your top.
1:23:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
1:23:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Guys, this stage.
1:23:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, and then Cycle's about to disake about a versus real.
1:23:30
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what?
1:23:30
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm literally sick though, yeah, I'm not going to go to the show just for that, but like, I would I do want to.
1:23:38
[SPEAKER_02]: And for the world tag team championship, Zion and Odyssey versus Red Eye Abbey and Talos, Paul, who's winning this one?
1:23:44
[SPEAKER_05]: I got to go with the Titans of calamity, right?
1:23:46
[SPEAKER_05]: You think so?
1:23:47
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean that those give them back to back wins of a Zion on Odyssey, but I don't know.
1:23:52
[SPEAKER_05]: But I think you kind of have to run with this.
1:23:54
[SPEAKER_02]: They might run with havoc as of how over havoc is.
1:23:57
[SPEAKER_02]: They are really over here.
1:23:59
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just trying to say, I don't think you can be shocked at havoc retain.
1:24:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Because then you have them at one on one.
1:24:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, at one on one.
1:24:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Also, in this case, you can on this bag to be more um, regular than tough.
1:24:10
[SPEAKER_02]: tell us yeah we should like check if they're like if any of these guys are like booked anywhere else it's a maybe it's like the figure of the spoiler and then of course the new year's battle royale now it's just battle royale like top name uh and then we go to a January third or six man tag match rising hiado dan Tamar and soda kufuji versus yuko mio motofu mio obi and segotachi pana that's a good match and we got we saw she's
1:24:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Got Zion Odyssey and go Shiozaki versus Hadekis Suzuki, Kengo Machimo and Hikaru Sato, have a scutting their heat back if they lose on that match.
1:24:46
[SPEAKER_02]: We've got a six-man.
1:24:48
[SPEAKER_02]: tag team match, catchably a hard June set on rakey on diverse is the titans of calamity and human anxiety.
1:24:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Very interesting wonder if that's another spoiler.
1:24:58
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, you know what I would also be into a canto and Honda tag team.
1:25:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, and then they go against like Renayab and Talos if they like when the title.
1:25:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:25:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:25:10
[SPEAKER_02]: And then gay or TV championship, uh, Chutalus, you know, versus a dice case like a motto.
1:25:14
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that should be pretty good.
1:25:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:25:16
[SPEAKER_02]: I, uh, just keep it on the screen or I hope.
1:25:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Looks, it's not about what at this point, like you're getting a regular paycheck, that's not big Japan.
1:25:24
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:24
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:25
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:26
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:27
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:27
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:28
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:28
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:29
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:30
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:31
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:32
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:33
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:35
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:36
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:37
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:38
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:38
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:39
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:39
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:40
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:40
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not big Japan.
1:25:41
[SPEAKER_02]: which is also interesting that they didn't do it on the second.
1:25:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, you mean?
1:25:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, because they generally do like the battle royale as the main event of that one.
1:25:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
1:25:50
[SPEAKER_02]: I would have put the tag titles here on the third and then yeah, yeah.
1:25:53
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, again, that kind of shows me, they thought they this would be kind of a big deal of them bringing in Carama.
1:26:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they blew this one.
1:26:01
[SPEAKER_02]: God, what do you have to say for yourself?
1:26:02
[SPEAKER_02]: If one loves you, but...
1:26:06
[SPEAKER_03]: you know.
1:26:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, maybe maybe maybe there were reasons why all of the like, Noah people were seem to be very happy because she was lucky with Scott.
1:26:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder if he was asking to bring back.
1:26:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I don't think that was the only reason, but like I feel like that might have been one of the things he was advocating for, just given how quickly they
1:26:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Like he might have been asking to like book him on like limit break shows under the mask.
1:26:37
[SPEAKER_02]: So Paul, before we go, do you want to just give him your path of greatness in Japan?
1:26:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
1:26:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Let's have a photo here.
1:26:45
[SPEAKER_05]: There we go.
1:26:46
[SPEAKER_05]: So I am arriving on the 28th of December.
1:26:52
[SPEAKER_05]: don't think that's really going to be anything I will be able to go to then because my flight lands pretty late.
1:26:58
[SPEAKER_05]: So, but then on a 29th, first show I'm going to is actually a start-up in Sumo Hall.
1:27:05
[SPEAKER_05]: It's a pretty good one to like start out with.
1:27:10
[SPEAKER_05]: On the 30th, I am going to great
1:27:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, uh, show where a whole two matches have been announced for it so far, uh, one of which is T.J.P.
1:27:21
[SPEAKER_05]: versus a lineman for the title.
1:27:23
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that, shortly, it's be good, um, then on the 31st, obviously, it's the, uh, all Japan, uh, show.
1:27:32
[SPEAKER_05]: And I am still thinking about big Japan has like a death match tournament show in Corrigan.
1:27:39
[SPEAKER_05]: The problem is it overlaps with star dates because the all-dependence show starts at 2pm and then the big Japan show starts at 515pm.
1:27:50
[SPEAKER_05]: So realistically speaking, not going to be able to make it in time before the big Japan show starts, but like the semi-main event
1:28:01
[SPEAKER_05]: is it's June, Kassai versus Kamatani in like a like a like to death match.
1:28:12
[SPEAKER_05]: And I mean that should be sick.
1:28:13
[SPEAKER_05]: I am legitimately thinking if I should just go to that war.
1:28:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Like go to that, go to Korkin and just buy a ticket halfway through the show just to watch that match.
1:28:23
[SPEAKER_05]: But
1:28:24
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to see how a lot of people feel like, basically, January 1st, it's the Nova Buddha control.
1:28:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously, January 2nd, as I said, I haven't decided yet, it's either going to be nowhere in Shindruku phase or big Japan or Korkhan Hall, and then on the 1st, I am going to
1:28:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I don't like I actually like to show on the third more or all depends on the third more than the one on the second, but yeah, I don't want to go to a show made of a typo grammar.
1:28:58
[SPEAKER_05]: Then after that on the fourth, it's obviously it's wrestling kingdom in Tokyo, which
1:29:06
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if I like the card or not, but it's going to be like a massive audience, so I'm looking forward to that.
1:29:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Then I'm going to be traveling around for a bit, but I will go to a Dragon's Gate Show in Kobe, as well as I'm going to a Q-Shoot Pro Show as well, because that actually lines up with me being in Fukuoka.
1:29:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, come.
1:29:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm really, I'm really interested.
1:29:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Like how that one's going to go because I think it's like a smaller shoved as well.
1:29:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and then I'm going to like again leave like I'm then I'm actually back in Tokyo on the 16 for days of bunch of stuff that I might be interested in.
1:29:50
[SPEAKER_05]: I haven't decided yet.
1:29:51
[SPEAKER_05]: like there is a basaro show in Shinkiba like I might do that I haven't decided but then also on the 17th there is what was there again on the 17th oh it is the zero one show also in Shinkiba
1:30:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, okay.
1:30:08
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm so.
1:30:10
[SPEAKER_05]: Exactly, see myself some live fireboosa.
1:30:13
[SPEAKER_05]: On the 18th, there's going to be a Dragon Gate Show in Corican Hall and an all-to-pan show in Shinkiba, though that might sell out.
1:30:23
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't, I, I'm gonna hope it doesn't sell out until I'm like in Japan and I'm just gonna buy a ticket I'd like the New Year's Show.
1:30:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you could say, I suppose you could wait and see who are other pair decides to keep using it.
1:30:35
[SPEAKER_05]: We're booking for that one.
1:30:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, actually.
1:30:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe that's a better solution.
1:30:40
[SPEAKER_02]: So you know, you could wait and see.
1:30:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:30:45
[SPEAKER_05]: But then, yeah, so then I'm kind of going to be out of Japan for a little bit.
1:30:49
[SPEAKER_05]: And then, but however, I will be back to again, watch like picture pan and curriculum.
1:30:56
[SPEAKER_05]: as well as there's like ununagi sayaka show producer and korekan and I'm going to I'm so going to be there for that and also a new Japan show and korekan as well.
1:31:07
[SPEAKER_05]: I think that might be it's like the last show of the trip is either going to be that
1:31:13
[SPEAKER_05]: or freedoms in Tokyo Square, which would be a chance to go to Tokyo Square, which I don't know.
1:31:21
[SPEAKER_05]: I think I'm going to wait to see like what cards look like for about a poem of these shows before deciding.
1:31:27
[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, let's show this long trip as well.
1:31:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I'm not back in Europe until the second of February.
1:31:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Wow.
1:31:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's a while.
1:31:38
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, okay, and this, or I miss all of the, like, Monday magic shows, though.
1:31:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you do.
1:31:44
[SPEAKER_02]: That would be a, uh, experience, I suppose.
1:31:47
