- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:22Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day if you become the
- 0:25Speaker 1: Hawkrel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys, Happy Wednesday,
- 0:30Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode. I think I am the
- 0:34Speaker 1: most excited for this episode out of all the episodes
- 0:38Speaker 1: that record every single week, this is by far the
- 0:41Speaker 1: one episode that I always look forward to every year.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Like I'm not even over exaggerating, just because I am
- 0:47Speaker 1: obsessed with fall, fall fashion, fall recipes, just fall mood,
- 0:53Speaker 1: fall everything. I am very very much obsessed with a
- 0:57Speaker 1: fall aesthetic and I am so exc to just talk
- 1:01Speaker 1: all things fall going into a new season, just a
- 1:04Speaker 1: whole fall reset and specifically for me, As I told
- 1:09Speaker 1: you guys, I just got back like two weeks ago,
- 1:11Speaker 1: so coming home, like going into September, it was the
- 1:15Speaker 1: best mindset coming home knowing that a new season is
- 1:19Speaker 1: coming upon us and a new month, like there was
- 1:22Speaker 1: just so much motivation, so much inspiration coming home, like
- 1:26Speaker 1: wanting to decorate the house, wanting to go to home
- 1:28Speaker 1: since picking out you know, home to core pieces all that. Like,
- 1:32Speaker 1: I felt so inspired coming home, which was nice. I
- 1:35Speaker 1: didn't feel like I felt sad for like a period
- 1:37Speaker 1: of time, knowing that like the wedding's over and all that.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But I also felt really good knowing that these next
- 1:42Speaker 1: few months are my favorite months of the year, Thanksgiving,
- 1:45Speaker 1: fall season, seeing the leaves change, you know, getting into
- 1:49Speaker 1: cozy season, getting my fireplace on. Like, I don't know.
- 1:52Speaker 1: The vibes were just really good coming home because it's
- 1:56Speaker 1: my favorite season and I love talking about all things fall.
- 1:59Speaker 1: So I hope you guys are having an amazing September
- 2:03Speaker 1: so far. I feel really really good going into this month.
- 2:06Speaker 1: As I said, I just think I'm very excited to
- 2:08Speaker 1: start a new season. As much as I love summer
- 2:11Speaker 1: and it was the best summer of my life, I
- 2:15Speaker 1: will say that I'm excited to, yeah, get into all
- 2:18Speaker 1: things fall. So in today's episode, I really wanted to
- 2:21Speaker 1: focus on a complete fall reset, and what I mean
- 2:23Speaker 1: by that is just resetting your mind and your mindset
- 2:28Speaker 1: in terms of getting into a new season. How do
- 2:31Speaker 1: we prep for it, how do we get into the
- 2:33Speaker 1: fall mood? What are things that we can do, whether
- 2:35Speaker 1: it's routines or things in your home to make you
- 2:38Speaker 1: feel like you're in the fall mood. What is trending
- 2:41Speaker 1: this fall season when it comes to fashion or products,
- 2:44Speaker 1: seasonal recipes, all that. I'm going to share all the
- 2:47Speaker 1: info that you guys need to know for fall. I
- 2:52Speaker 1: will say that I'm already setting the mood here by
- 2:54Speaker 1: having a pumpkin cream cold brew in front of me.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I made it myself and in bye it from Starbucks,
- 2:59Speaker 1: and I'm going to right now, I'm ninety percent sure
- 3:01Speaker 1: I've mastered my recipe at home. I have tried all
- 3:04Speaker 1: week trying to figure out, Okay, what kind of stirrups
- 3:07Speaker 1: do I need? What kind of spices do I need?
- 3:08Speaker 1: All that, and I finally have mastered my recipe. So
- 3:11Speaker 1: I will share a TikTok and Instagram real next week
- 3:14Speaker 1: of me making it because I feel like it's pretty
- 3:17Speaker 1: close to the Starbucks one. And yeah, when it comes
- 3:20Speaker 1: to like an espresso pod, everything, I've nailed it down
- 3:22Speaker 1: to a tee and yeah, I'm gonna share it with
- 3:25Speaker 1: you guys just because it's so so good. So we
- 3:28Speaker 1: have that here. I'm wearing chocolate brown, like I feel
- 3:32Speaker 1: like I've prepped for this episode, but I really didn't.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I'm wearing like a chocolate brown workout set because you know,
- 3:36Speaker 1: browns are very in for the fall season, so I'm
- 3:39Speaker 1: feeling very fall today, which is perfect for recording this episode.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I also have some exciting news that I actually want
- 3:48Speaker 1: your opinion on before we get into this episode. Is
- 3:51Speaker 1: I am thinking about bringing the podcast to YouTube, So
- 3:55Speaker 1: I'm thinking about recording video. Is this something you guys
- 3:58Speaker 1: would want to see because I I feel like I
- 4:00Speaker 1: talk a lot about you know, products, self care things,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and sometimes I feel like I could do some visuals
- 4:07Speaker 1: for certain episodes. I'm gonna honestly probably post every single
- 4:12Speaker 1: episode on YouTube, but you know, you know, when I do,
- 4:14Speaker 1: like my fall favorites or monthly favorites, whatever it is, like,
- 4:16Speaker 1: it would be nice to show the physical product to
- 4:19Speaker 1: you guys versus talking about it on a mic, and
- 4:21Speaker 1: then you guys can actually see visuals on my YouTube channel.
- 4:24Speaker 1: So I wouldn't actually make a separate YouTube channel. I
- 4:26Speaker 1: would post it on my current YouTube and I would
- 4:28Speaker 1: make it The Hawkerel Talk and we would have a
- 4:32Speaker 1: episode a week like I usually do, but it would
- 4:34Speaker 1: also be in video format on my YouTube channel and
- 4:37Speaker 1: it would literally just be me talking like I would
- 4:39Speaker 1: hear on the mic, but in video format, So let
- 4:42Speaker 1: me know what you guys think about that. It'd be
- 4:43Speaker 1: called the Hawkrel Talk for Hawkerel Energy, and it would
- 4:46Speaker 1: literally just be me doing what I'm doing now, the
- 4:48Speaker 1: exact same episode, but just in video format. And I
- 4:51Speaker 1: don't know, sometimes I feel like people like visuals and
- 4:54Speaker 1: having both options might be nice. So that is something
- 4:57Speaker 1: I've been really wanting to get into. And plus I
- 5:00Speaker 1: love YouTube. I literally try and post there so often,
- 5:03Speaker 1: but sometimes it's hard. But I can edit the video
- 5:06Speaker 1: and the podcast episode all at one time, so I
- 5:09Speaker 1: can literally upload them at the exact time with the
- 5:12Speaker 1: video on YouTube and the podcast on you know, Apple
- 5:16Speaker 1: and Spotify and all that. But it's not like it's
- 5:18Speaker 1: extra work. Essentially, it's just me having a video clip
- 5:22Speaker 1: added to the audio, if that makes sense. So let
- 5:25Speaker 1: me know you guys think I would post two YouTube
- 5:27Speaker 1: videos a week, one being the Hawkgirl Talk, which would
- 5:30Speaker 1: be the podcast episode, and then a vlog on a
- 5:32Speaker 1: weekly basis, So let me know what you guys think,
- 5:34Speaker 1: because I feel like that would be super fun to
- 5:37Speaker 1: bring into YouTube, and as I said, I want to
- 5:40Speaker 1: be more connected with you guys, and I'm a visual
- 5:42Speaker 1: person and I love watching YouTube, Like I watch YouTube
- 5:45Speaker 1: every single morning. I'm not even over exaggerating, like I
- 5:47Speaker 1: watch my comfort YouTubers, I put it on my TV
- 5:50Speaker 1: all that. So I just want to be more on there,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and I'm trying to figure out ways how can I
- 5:54Speaker 1: get myself on YouTube more. And because I already vlog
- 5:57Speaker 1: a lot with TikTok and Instagram, I thought, you know what,
- 6:00Speaker 1: people bring the podcast onto YouTube because I love chatting
- 6:02Speaker 1: with you guys. And yeah, I thought it might be
- 6:04Speaker 1: a fun way to bring myself back on YouTube and
- 6:08Speaker 1: adding more YouTube videos to my channel by including the podcast.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So let me know, you guys think I want to
- 6:13Speaker 1: hear your feedback on that. But let's get into today's
- 6:16Speaker 1: episode and talk about how we're prepping for the fall season.
- 6:20Speaker 1: So first off, the first thing I did when I
- 6:23Speaker 1: got home was obviously order a pumpkin cream cold brew
- 6:25Speaker 1: because that was like an absolute necessity I needed to do,
- 6:29Speaker 1: like it is my favorite drink of the season. Let
- 6:31Speaker 1: me tell you, I wish Starbucks had this drink on
- 6:35Speaker 1: their menu all year round because I would order it
- 6:37Speaker 1: all year round. That's how good it is. I'm actually
- 6:39Speaker 1: not a big Starbucks girally to be honest, Like, I
- 6:42Speaker 1: haven't really found a good like everyday drink or just
- 6:45Speaker 1: you know, a daily order that I would order. The
- 6:48Speaker 1: only time I'm really at Starbucks is the fall season
- 6:50Speaker 1: and Christmas, because those are the only two drinks that
- 6:53Speaker 1: I actually like, which is the Pumpkin Cream Cold Crew
- 6:56Speaker 1: and then the Chestnut Preline whenever that comes out, usually
- 6:59Speaker 1: during holiday season. So I personally like to get coffees
- 7:03Speaker 1: from local coffee shops because I like to support local
- 7:05Speaker 1: coffee shops. But when I am craving a Starbucks drink,
- 7:09Speaker 1: it's usually the fall or holiday menus. So that's a
- 7:13Speaker 1: little something about me. But that was the first thing
- 7:15Speaker 1: I did, and that immediately just got me so excited
- 7:18Speaker 1: for the season. But I always love decorating my space
- 7:22Speaker 1: to make me feel more into the fall season. So
- 7:26Speaker 1: I actually went to home Sence last week and I
- 7:28Speaker 1: picked out some ball pieces for the house, and I
- 7:31Speaker 1: got pumpkins. I got some just colored you know pillowcases
- 7:35Speaker 1: and colored towels that are more like the brown tones,
- 7:39Speaker 1: and I just really wanted to decorate my space get
- 7:42Speaker 1: some ball candles, just really create an ambiance that was
- 7:46Speaker 1: very fall like, if that makes sense. And I love
- 7:50Speaker 1: doing that. I do that every year. I find it
- 7:52Speaker 1: gets me excited for a new season. I know some
- 7:55Speaker 1: people may be sad changing seasons because you know, summer's
- 7:59Speaker 1: obviously amazing, the hot weather, the vibes, spending time with
- 8:03Speaker 1: your friends, usually vacation times around the summertime, and then
- 8:06Speaker 1: when the fall season comes, you know, people sometimes get
- 8:09Speaker 1: sad because they think of, you know, the colder season
- 8:11Speaker 1: and oh winter is coming. That means like some people
- 8:15Speaker 1: you know have negative opinions when it comes to the
- 8:17Speaker 1: fall season. But we are trying to create a positive
- 8:20Speaker 1: mindset and a positive ambiance by getting excited about a
- 8:24Speaker 1: new season. So how can we get excited? And I
- 8:27Speaker 1: think decorating your space adding some fall to core pieces
- 8:31Speaker 1: really makes it more fun and exciting. I personally love
- 8:34Speaker 1: to do that and it's very comforting. So I got
- 8:38Speaker 1: a lot of stuff for the house. I have not
- 8:39Speaker 1: decorated yet because I do want to go one more
- 8:41Speaker 1: time to Winners. And if you guys don't know, if
- 8:44Speaker 1: you're from the States and you're not familiar with this,
- 8:47Speaker 1: but home sense is like a Home Goods in Canada,
- 8:50Speaker 1: but there's also Winners, which is like a Marshal's. I
- 8:53Speaker 1: would say, so, I want to go to Winters and
- 8:55Speaker 1: just see if they have a few home to core pieces.
- 8:58Speaker 1: And usually every third day if you're a Canadian you
- 9:01Speaker 1: should know this. Every Thursday they restock home sense, like
- 9:06Speaker 1: they put out new items and all that. So I
- 9:08Speaker 1: usually like to go on Thursdays because newer stuff is in.
- 9:11Speaker 1: So yeah, so that's a little tip if you guys
- 9:14Speaker 1: want to know. They replan their stock Wednesday nights and
- 9:17Speaker 1: then Thursday mornings you can go see the new pieces
- 9:20Speaker 1: that they put out. So yeah, I'm gonna probably do
- 9:22Speaker 1: a quick stop at home since again and go to Winters,
- 9:25Speaker 1: just because there was a few things that I was
- 9:26Speaker 1: looking for, in particular when it comes to doing like
- 9:29Speaker 1: my outdoor porch, I did not get anything for outside,
- 9:32Speaker 1: like I wanted to get plants, I wanted to get
- 9:33Speaker 1: a doormat all that. So I want to go back
- 9:35Speaker 1: and decorate the front of the house as well. And
- 9:37Speaker 1: I'm also looking for like a darker throw like a blanket,
- 9:42Speaker 1: So I'm really trying to add some darker tones into
- 9:44Speaker 1: the house since we are getting into that season, and
- 9:47Speaker 1: I love brown. I love just like different textures of
- 9:51Speaker 1: brown in the house. I love little hints of orange,
- 9:55Speaker 1: sometimes burgundy. I think that's really really nice to add
- 9:59Speaker 1: to a home. So even if you don't have a
- 10:01Speaker 1: home and you just have a bedroom, like super easy
- 10:03Speaker 1: to add a few little things, even if it is
- 10:05Speaker 1: just adding you know, a fall candle and a few
- 10:07Speaker 1: little pumpkins or you know, some flowers and the fall
- 10:11Speaker 1: color scheme, like it really really makes the space feel
- 10:14Speaker 1: more comforting and in the fall vibe. Another thing I
- 10:18Speaker 1: love to do is also just romanticize my nights or
- 10:22Speaker 1: my self care routines or anything like that, like lighting
- 10:25Speaker 1: a candle, putting on the fireplace, making your favorite fall recipe,
- 10:29Speaker 1: like really just making your nights about the fall season.
- 10:33Speaker 1: And we're going to get into recipes in a bit,
- 10:35Speaker 1: because you guys know how much I love fall recipes.
- 10:38Speaker 1: But I have a lot of healthy ones that I'm
- 10:40Speaker 1: going to be probably putting on my social media, just
- 10:43Speaker 1: like making soups, making different desserts, all that, because I
- 10:48Speaker 1: always love filming those kind of videos and trying new things.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But yeah, that's one thing I love to do is
- 10:53Speaker 1: just completely romanticize my nights or my mornings by setting
- 10:57Speaker 1: the tone of the space. Another thing I love to
- 11:00Speaker 1: do is I love to put a fall background on
- 11:03Speaker 1: my TV. So I go on YouTube and I search
- 11:06Speaker 1: fall ambiyonce and it gives usually like a bunch of
- 11:09Speaker 1: trees with the leaves changing, usually in like the mountains,
- 11:13Speaker 1: and I find it's just like a nice way to
- 11:15Speaker 1: add to the space. And then, as I said, like,
- 11:18Speaker 1: I have a lot of fall candles that I got,
- 11:21Speaker 1: just colorful pumpkins all that, so I'm really trying to
- 11:24Speaker 1: create that cozy vibe in the house. Another thing you
- 11:27Speaker 1: can do to get into like the fall season is
- 11:30Speaker 1: starting to watch some of your favorite TV shows that
- 11:33Speaker 1: are more set in the fall season, if that makes sense,
- 11:36Speaker 1: or what makes you think of fall. So, for an example,
- 11:39Speaker 1: when I think of Fall, I think of Vampire Diaries.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I don't know why. Maybe because of Vampires makes me
- 11:43Speaker 1: think of Halloween, makes me think of just the fall season.
- 11:47Speaker 1: That's literally hands down one of my favorite shows. However,
- 11:49Speaker 1: I just finished rewatching it like this time last year,
- 11:53Speaker 1: so it's just been a year, so I'm not going
- 11:55Speaker 1: to rewatch it again just because I feel like it's
- 11:57Speaker 1: a little too soon. But I've actually ever seen this
- 12:00Speaker 1: show and it is The Gilmore Girls, and that is
- 12:03Speaker 1: everywhere on social media. Everyone talks about The Gilmore Girls
- 12:06Speaker 1: whenever it comes to the fall season, so I feel
- 12:09Speaker 1: like I need to watch it. I can't believe I've
- 12:10Speaker 1: never seen it, but I'm hoping to get into that
- 12:14Speaker 1: this week. Other TV shows that I can think of
- 12:16Speaker 1: that gets me in the fall mood is Pretty Little Liars.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I feel like that's very Fall inspired, and yeah, I
- 12:23Speaker 1: think that's it. When it comes to TV shows. Movies
- 12:25Speaker 1: that I can think of are like Halloween Town, Twilight movies,
- 12:29Speaker 1: anything that you know is related to horror movies and
- 12:33Speaker 1: makes me think of Halloween a bit. Those are some
- 12:36Speaker 1: of the things that I can think of when it
- 12:37Speaker 1: comes to the fall vibes. But Pretty Little Liars for
- 12:40Speaker 1: a TV show, that is another show that actually I
- 12:42Speaker 1: would love to rewatch because I have not seen that
- 12:44Speaker 1: in years. I remember when I was younger, we would
- 12:47Speaker 1: all go to my parents' basement and whenever there was
- 12:49Speaker 1: a new Pretty Little Liar's episode on the TV, we
- 12:52Speaker 1: would like record it, go downstairs and make sure we
- 12:55Speaker 1: had everybody in the basement to watch it together, like
- 12:58Speaker 1: that was me and my sisters go to show with
- 13:00Speaker 1: my parents, like we'd make them watch it with us,
- 13:03Speaker 1: And yeah, that was one of my favorite TV shows.
- 13:05Speaker 1: So I feel like that would be another good show
- 13:08Speaker 1: to get into. Another way to get into the fall
- 13:10Speaker 1: season is I always love to scroll through Pinterest. Whenever
- 13:13Speaker 1: I'm entering a new season. I find the most inspiration
- 13:17Speaker 1: through Pinterest. It truly is my best friend when it
- 13:20Speaker 1: comes to my career or just like always wanting to
- 13:23Speaker 1: feel inspired whenever I'm making purchases my home. Honestly, anything
- 13:28Speaker 1: like Pinterest is truly the best app in my opinion,
- 13:31Speaker 1: and I love looking on there for you know, fall
- 13:33Speaker 1: decor items, So especially when it comes to fall home pieces,
- 13:37Speaker 1: I've been really going on Pinterest to get some inspo
- 13:40Speaker 1: from there. Like I've been wanting to change up our
- 13:43Speaker 1: bedroom for an example, and it doesn't even have to
- 13:46Speaker 1: have like pumpkins and all that, like it could just
- 13:49Speaker 1: be the color scheme. So for example, brown is very
- 13:52Speaker 1: in this fall, so I really want to get some
- 13:54Speaker 1: dark brown bedding for our bed just change it up again.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Really brings in those darker tones. Thinking of the fall season,
- 14:01Speaker 1: So going on Pinterest is really the best place to
- 14:04Speaker 1: get fall inspiration, even if it comes to like fall fashion,
- 14:07Speaker 1: like what are people wearing like search fall esthetic clothing
- 14:12Speaker 1: or fall inspiration mood boards or whatever like Pinterest is
- 14:16Speaker 1: the best spot for that. So same thing with fall fashion.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I've been going on Pinterest, pinning different outfits that I like, Okay,
- 14:22Speaker 1: what's really in Brown's burgundies, suede all that we'll get
- 14:26Speaker 1: into fall fashion and what's trending right now. But that
- 14:29Speaker 1: is something that I find really gets me in the
- 14:32Speaker 1: fall space and makes me think of you know, even
- 14:34Speaker 1: fall recipes. I find a bunch of recipes off Pinterest.
- 14:37Speaker 1: That is really where I get all my inspiration from.
- 14:40Speaker 1: And lastly, one thing I always love to do when
- 14:42Speaker 1: it comes to a little fall reset or just really
- 14:45Speaker 1: prepping for the season is I always like to go
- 14:47Speaker 1: through my closet and you know, take away some of
- 14:50Speaker 1: the summer pieces, add a few of my sweaters, and
- 14:53Speaker 1: figure out what do I need for the fall season.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Do I need a you know, more cardians, Do I
- 14:57Speaker 1: need more chunk knit sweaters? Do I need to you know,
- 15:01Speaker 1: just add to my wardrobe or you know, avoid duplicating
- 15:05Speaker 1: things like I don't need to buy another Gracewater because
- 15:08Speaker 1: I have like seven Grace weaters. I'm not even over exaggerating.
- 15:10Speaker 1: My favorite color is gray, and it's actually a problem,
- 15:12Speaker 1: but I don't have a lot of brown, so it's like, okay,
- 15:15Speaker 1: I should really be focusing on ordering brown pieces. So
- 15:19Speaker 1: just going through your closet, I think is good, even
- 15:21Speaker 1: if it's doing a cleanout, maybe getting rid of some stuff,
- 15:25Speaker 1: putting stuff in storage. All that. I think that really
- 15:28Speaker 1: helps out because obviously entering a cooler season, we're not
- 15:30Speaker 1: gonna need shorts, We're not gonna need you know, dresses
- 15:34Speaker 1: right now unless you plan on wearing a dress with
- 15:36Speaker 1: like shear tights or something. But yeah, just knowing what's
- 15:41Speaker 1: fall pieces for summer pieces, it's good to you know,
- 15:44Speaker 1: put the summer pieces into storage and you know, really
- 15:48Speaker 1: getting out the fall pieces. So I'm hoping to do
- 15:50Speaker 1: that this weekend. Actually is do a bit of a
- 15:53Speaker 1: closet clean out. So yeah, that's gonna be my focus
- 15:56Speaker 1: and making sure that I know what I'm ordering this weekend,
- 16:00Speaker 1: because I have not ordered any fall fashion as of
- 16:02Speaker 1: right now. I have a few things in my cart,
- 16:03Speaker 1: but I've been waiting to go through my closet just
- 16:05Speaker 1: to make sure I'm not ordering anything twice. I don't
- 16:07Speaker 1: know if anyone's ever done that, but sometimes I forget
- 16:09Speaker 1: what I have and I need to go through my inventory,
- 16:12Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like you go through what
- 16:14Speaker 1: you currently have and you figure out, Okay, I don't
- 16:16Speaker 1: need this, but I could use this. So that's just
- 16:20Speaker 1: a little tip when it comes to ordering pieces for fault,
- 16:23Speaker 1: just figure out what you have first and what you
- 16:25Speaker 1: need before you know, just spending too much money on
- 16:28Speaker 1: things you might not need. So I always love to
- 16:30Speaker 1: do a little closet inventory check before ordering new pieces
- 16:35Speaker 1: for a new season. So speaking about clothes fashion all that,
- 16:40Speaker 1: let's talk about fall fashion because I feel like this
- 16:42Speaker 1: is something that I always look forward to, is knowing
- 16:46Speaker 1: what's in what's out for the fall season. And one
- 16:49Speaker 1: thing that I feel like everybody is talking about right
- 16:53Speaker 1: now is Swayed Swede bags, Swede shoes, Swayede jackets, Swayed
- 16:58Speaker 1: matching sets like it's a blazer and a Swede skirt.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I love Swedes so much, and I'm so mad because
- 17:06Speaker 1: this is the prime example as to why it's sometimes
- 17:09Speaker 1: good to keep things that you've purchased, you know, five
- 17:13Speaker 1: or six years ago, because I had this stunning Swede
- 17:16Speaker 1: jacket and I'm like ninety percent sure I gave it away,
- 17:20Speaker 1: like I you know, I usually drop off some clothes,
- 17:23Speaker 1: and yeah, I'm pretty sure I gave that away. So
- 17:27Speaker 1: I'm like, I should have kept it, because look at
- 17:29Speaker 1: us now, Swede is back in, Swee jackets are in
- 17:31Speaker 1: all that. So we're gonna have to find some Swede pieces,
- 17:34Speaker 1: I guess, and add that into my current collection. But
- 17:38Speaker 1: I've been wanting to get a Swede bag. I have
- 17:41Speaker 1: been eyeing some on Amazon. There's a lot of good,
- 17:44Speaker 1: affordable Swede bags. Also a lot of just brands that
- 17:48Speaker 1: I've recently discovered that I've never purchased from before, well
- 17:52Speaker 1: not recently discovered. I've heard of these brands, you know,
- 17:55Speaker 1: for years upon years, but I've never purchased from them.
- 17:57Speaker 1: So one being Banana Republic. There is a lot of good,
- 18:01Speaker 1: good quality Swede bags and some swayed pieces that I've
- 18:04Speaker 1: seen on there. I've never ordered anything from Banana Republic
- 18:07Speaker 1: in my life, but it's just a new brand that
- 18:10Speaker 1: I'm discovering. So one thing that I really want to
- 18:11Speaker 1: focus on this fall season is trying different brands out
- 18:15Speaker 1: and not just always resorting to my go tos like
- 18:18Speaker 1: obviously love a Ritzia, Love Revolve, love those go to spots,
- 18:21Speaker 1: Zara all that. But I'm constantly buying from the same places,
- 18:24Speaker 1: so it would be nice to expand my brands and
- 18:28Speaker 1: trying out different companies to potentially discover a new Aritzia,
- 18:31Speaker 1: like a new go to place that I can resort
- 18:34Speaker 1: to or find good quality pieces. So yeah, I'm hoping
- 18:38Speaker 1: to post a lot more like chatty halls on social
- 18:42Speaker 1: media as well, because I feel like you guys like
- 18:45Speaker 1: my clothing pieces that I purchase. I know you guys
- 18:47Speaker 1: always ask for links and all that, but I'm like,
- 18:49Speaker 1: you know, I need to start doing like seasonal halls
- 18:52Speaker 1: of whatever I buy and just share it with you
- 18:53Speaker 1: guys that you guys can get it immediately whenever we're
- 18:56Speaker 1: entering a new season. So as soon as I do
- 18:59Speaker 1: a you know, order, I will film a video and
- 19:02Speaker 1: show you guys everything that I get. That way, it's
- 19:04Speaker 1: worth you getting. Like. That's one thing I regret not
- 19:06Speaker 1: doing before leaving on our trip, but obviously I didn't
- 19:09Speaker 1: have the time with just all the wedding prepping and
- 19:13Speaker 1: all that. But I wish I showed you guys my
- 19:15Speaker 1: honeymoon outfits because so many of you guys wanted the link.
- 19:17Speaker 1: But now we're at the end of the season, and
- 19:19Speaker 1: now it's like, what's the point in ordering these dresses
- 19:22Speaker 1: when now we're all thinking about fall fashion? Right? So
- 19:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna try and be ahead of the game and
- 19:26Speaker 1: show you guys stuff that I purchase. That way you
- 19:28Speaker 1: guys can get some inspiration. But yes, Swede bags are
- 19:32Speaker 1: in Swede. Really anything is very very popular right now,
- 19:36Speaker 1: as well as the color brown and burgundy. I think
- 19:41Speaker 1: cherry red was super super in last fall. I still
- 19:44Speaker 1: think it is, but I think people are more leaning
- 19:46Speaker 1: towards the burgundy red. I would love to get, like
- 19:49Speaker 1: a burgundy red cardigan that has been something that's been
- 19:51Speaker 1: in my shopping cart, a brown blazer I think would
- 19:55Speaker 1: be really nice, or just a brown chunky knit sweater.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I also love those big Sherpa like Teddy Bear jackets,
- 20:02Speaker 1: especially for going to workedout classes or anything like that.
- 20:05Speaker 1: I've been eyeing this brown one from H and M
- 20:07Speaker 1: that I think I'm gonna get, And again, H and
- 20:10Speaker 1: M is a very affordable brand and they always have
- 20:13Speaker 1: really good fall pieces I find, so yeah, I'm gonna
- 20:16Speaker 1: be definitely trying out different places to shop at. Another
- 20:20Speaker 1: thing that's really in is dark denim or denim matching sets,
- 20:24Speaker 1: so a Canadian tuxedo. I love when people do like
- 20:27Speaker 1: a dark denim jean jacket with a dark denim skirt
- 20:30Speaker 1: with like nice pair of boots, a basic white tank top.
- 20:34Speaker 1: And again, denim is so versatile, so I love investing
- 20:37Speaker 1: in good denim pieces because I know I'm going to
- 20:40Speaker 1: wear it, you know, throughout any season, to be honest,
- 20:43Speaker 1: So dark denim is very in, and I also find
- 20:47Speaker 1: dark denim very flattering, So yeah, I'm very excited about that.
- 20:52Speaker 1: And then obviously Uggs Ugs will never go to style,
- 20:55Speaker 1: I swear to god, it's just a staple. I have
- 20:58Speaker 1: not found any new Ugs this year. I've been taking
- 21:01Speaker 1: a peek at some of their new releases and not
- 21:04Speaker 1: gonna lie, some of them are quite interesting. I don't
- 21:07Speaker 1: know if you guys saw that Ugs came out with
- 21:09Speaker 1: a pair of high heels like that right there draws
- 21:13Speaker 1: the like that's too much like it. It's too much
- 21:16Speaker 1: to wear UGG high heels like I cannot believe they
- 21:18Speaker 1: actually release that. But I mean, whatever, if it's your style,
- 21:22Speaker 1: totally get it. But I just feel like ugs are
- 21:24Speaker 1: meant for comfort, not for like fashion high heels. I
- 21:28Speaker 1: don't know. When I think of ugs, I think of
- 21:30Speaker 1: like slip on shoes, right, I think of you know,
- 21:32Speaker 1: winter boots. I think of fall slip ons, like I
- 21:35Speaker 1: have the Taz slippers, which is just like those slip
- 21:39Speaker 1: on shoes, and I wear them all the time and
- 21:41Speaker 1: they're very, very comfortable. And then I also have birkenstocks.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Birkenstocks are obviously super in again this year, the clogs
- 21:48Speaker 1: all that. It's just nice to have a slip on
- 21:51Speaker 1: shoe whenever you're on the go. So I don't think
- 21:53Speaker 1: I really need anything when it comes to like comfort shoe.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I think I really want to just get like a
- 22:00Speaker 1: nice pair of dark brown high heel like high boots.
- 22:03Speaker 1: I love the look of high knee boots with you
- 22:06Speaker 1: know skirts or dresses. I think that is super super
- 22:11Speaker 1: nice for the fall season. So yeah, that's a little
- 22:14Speaker 1: highlight of what I have seen that's trending for fall
- 22:17Speaker 1: fashion right now. Obviously sneakers as well, So getting like
- 22:21Speaker 1: those Samba sneakers I love Samba sneakers or the Giselle
- 22:24Speaker 1: sneaker which is also by Adidas. They have like cherry red, burgundy,
- 22:28Speaker 1: red browns. Even just a simple black pair is great.
- 22:31Speaker 1: A good sneaker for the fall season is also really great.
- 22:35Speaker 1: And then lastly, of course, chunky knit sweaters, cardigans. I'm
- 22:39Speaker 1: a sucker for a good cardigan. I definitely need a
- 22:42Speaker 1: few more. I feel like I only have like two
- 22:45Speaker 1: good staples in my closet right now, so I definitely
- 22:47Speaker 1: will be purchasing a few different cardigans, you know, again,
- 22:51Speaker 1: just the staple colors like brown, black. Again, I want
- 22:54Speaker 1: to try and get a burgundy cardigan. So yeah, just
- 22:57Speaker 1: getting all the cozy sweater for the fall season. But
- 23:01Speaker 1: that's everything that I've been seeing right now that's been
- 23:03Speaker 1: trending for fall. But I feel like every few weeks
- 23:06Speaker 1: there's always something new that's trending for fashion. Okay, the
- 23:10Speaker 1: last thing we're going to talk about is fall recipes,
- 23:13Speaker 1: because this is my favorite season for cooking, and I
- 23:17Speaker 1: think it's just because of soup season. I honestly think
- 23:21Speaker 1: soup season is the best season and I think I'm
- 23:23Speaker 1: gonna start a soup series on TikTok because I've really
- 23:25Speaker 1: been wanting to try all these different soup recipes, though
- 23:28Speaker 1: I've saved so many pinterests souper recipes like cheddar broccoli soup,
- 23:33Speaker 1: chicken noodle soup, lazongya soup like I've done lazongya soup
- 23:36Speaker 1: in the past, but I'm just saying that I've discovered
- 23:38Speaker 1: a lot of new ones. Butternut squash soup obviously, tomato
- 23:42Speaker 1: soup and girl cheese is like my favorite thing ever.
- 23:45Speaker 1: But I am so excited for soup season. So I
- 23:49Speaker 1: think I'm gonna start a series because I love doing
- 23:51Speaker 1: dinner series with you guys. So I will definitely try
- 23:53Speaker 1: and provide healthy alternatives and you know, easy recipes to
- 23:58Speaker 1: recreate all about convenient, but also swapping things out to
- 24:03Speaker 1: make recipes a bit healthier. So I wouldn't say I'm
- 24:05Speaker 1: the healthiest person in the world, and I'm no nutritionist
- 24:08Speaker 1: or anything like that, but I do try my best
- 24:10Speaker 1: to create healthier options. One thing that I've actually been
- 24:14Speaker 1: wanting to purchase for full recipes specifically is a slow cooker.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I've never owned a crock pot. My parents have one
- 24:21Speaker 1: and I grew up with it, but I don't have
- 24:23Speaker 1: one myself now that I've moved out and lived with
- 24:26Speaker 1: Zach for the past few years, so I really want
- 24:28Speaker 1: to purchase one. So I don't know, I just think,
- 24:32Speaker 1: like on Sundays, I think it'd be an easy thing
- 24:34Speaker 1: to prep for dinner. Just throw everything in one spot,
- 24:36Speaker 1: let it cook. There's so many great recipes that you
- 24:39Speaker 1: can use with the slow cookers, So I might be
- 24:42Speaker 1: in my slow cooker era, probably very soon, to be honest,
- 24:46Speaker 1: I think I want to buy one, hopefully maybe this weekend.
- 24:50Speaker 1: So yeah, I think it's also just nice because putting
- 24:53Speaker 1: everything in one spot, there's less cleanup usually, so yeah,
- 24:56Speaker 1: and we can start, you know, I can start it
- 24:58Speaker 1: at like lunchtime and it would be ready by dinner time.
- 25:00Speaker 1: So yeah, that's something that's been on my mind lately,
- 25:03Speaker 1: is a slow cooker. I've mentioned it a hundred times.
- 25:05Speaker 1: But as you guys know, I'm obsessed with pumpkin anything,
- 25:08Speaker 1: like literally pumpkin anything, pumpkin drinks, pumpkin pie, pumpkin desserts,
- 25:13Speaker 1: anything pumpkin related I'm obsessed with. So obviously I've been
- 25:17Speaker 1: recreating the pumpkin cream cold brew here at the house.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Love it. It's been my favorite thing. I'm gonna share the
- 25:22Speaker 1: recipe with you guys next week on my social media.
- 25:25Speaker 1: And then another thing I've been wanting to make is
- 25:28Speaker 1: pumpkin pancakes. I've never made this in my life, and
- 25:30Speaker 1: I think this would be amazing. I also want to
- 25:33Speaker 1: try pumpkin cookies, like just like those quick and easy.
- 25:37Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys have seen those like
- 25:39Speaker 1: five ingredient banana cookies. I saw someone do that with
- 25:42Speaker 1: pumpkin and they added like chocolate chips, maple syrup and
- 25:45Speaker 1: Noila extract. It's like a healthier way. So I'll show
- 25:48Speaker 1: you guys how I make that, hopefully this weekend maybe.
- 25:52Speaker 1: And then anything like apple related I think a fall
- 25:55Speaker 1: immediately as well. So I've seen this viral cinnamon apple
- 25:58Speaker 1: baked bites sounds amazing. I know I have been dying
- 26:02Speaker 1: to try it. Those look amazing, obviously, like this is
- 26:05Speaker 1: not healthy, but like apple pie, pumpkin pie, like, I
- 26:08Speaker 1: think of Thanksgiving immediately when I think of fall, because
- 26:12Speaker 1: our Thanksgiving is much earlier than the US, so the
- 26:16Speaker 1: US is during Black Friday, which is the end of November,
- 26:20Speaker 1: I believe, whereas for US, ours is in the beginning
- 26:24Speaker 1: of October. So I think of turkey, I think of
- 26:28Speaker 1: pies immediately when I think of fall, so that I
- 26:33Speaker 1: am very excited to have. But yeah, those are just
- 26:36Speaker 1: some things that can think of. I'm definitely gonna be
- 26:38Speaker 1: sharing a lot of fall recipes in the coming weeks
- 26:40Speaker 1: now that I'm home. I'm finally just getting back into
- 26:44Speaker 1: the swing of things. I've been doing some brand deals
- 26:47Speaker 1: that I've just had to get done because obviously, me
- 26:49Speaker 1: being on the honeymoon, I did not work at all.
- 26:51Speaker 1: So I feel like these past few weeks have been
- 26:53Speaker 1: a lot of catch up, which has been great, but
- 26:57Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, I need to start getting into
- 26:59Speaker 1: my content and again because I've been posting all this
- 27:01Speaker 1: honeymoon stuff. So yeah, so next week will be a
- 27:04Speaker 1: fresh start of getting into fall content, fall recipes, all that.
- 27:10Speaker 1: So make sure to follow me on there if you're new.
- 27:12Speaker 1: But thank you guys so much for listening to today's
- 27:14Speaker 1: episode of just getting into the Fall mood, prepping for
- 27:18Speaker 1: a new season, just the fall reset that we've all
- 27:21Speaker 1: been waiting for, Just resetting, getting out of the summer
- 27:24Speaker 1: mood entering the fall season. Things we can do to
- 27:27Speaker 1: really get into the Fall Spirit, and yeah, so I
- 27:30Speaker 1: think next episode will probably dedicate it to the perfect
- 27:34Speaker 1: Fall bucket list, so everything that I think we need
- 27:37Speaker 1: to do this fall season just to really have the
- 27:40Speaker 1: best fall season yet. So we're definitely going to do
- 27:43Speaker 1: an episode like that because I know you guys love
- 27:45Speaker 1: those episodes. But thank you guys so much for listening.
- 27:47Speaker 1: If you're new, definitely make sure to follow our instagram
- 27:49Speaker 1: at the Hawk Grow Energy Podcast. You can also follow
