- 1:44SPEAKER_01: People are all gonna go in and check it out.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: And I bet you you can find something to wear at the Dolly Party.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Oh, I bet you they would have something.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Something tells me you might find a little Western wear.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: That's true.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Um, since you guys are getting ready for school and packing lunches, what was your go-to sandwich, Scott, that you ate when you were a kid?
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: And do you still eat that sandwich?
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Okay, it's so funny you mentioned this because I had not touched it for decades.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Bologna sandwich.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love a bologna sandwich.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: And the proper way to make a bologna sandwich is not mayo nor cheese.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: It is bologna, a thick amount of it, uh, and mustard on white bread or whatever you have.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: That's the bread that gets stuck in your teeth.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: Yes, it is the most trash bag sandwich you've ever eaten, but it is delicious.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: I hadn't touched bologna probably since I was, I don't know, 16, maybe.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: I just recently, Tiffany actually, she brought some home of the uh the trash meat, and I'm like, oh my god, this is delicious.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: I forgot how good baloney was.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Mine was also baloney.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: That was such a good one.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: That was my go-to.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: I don't think I've had a baloney sandwich.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Okay, no, I had it is ridiculously delicious, totally unhealthy.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: I should be dead right now after eating it.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: I did eat, I ate a baloney sandwich about a year ago.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: And it was because I was at a place on Seneca Lake, not gonna gatekeep this.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: It's a place called here.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Where?
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Oh here.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: There.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Here.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Now wait, is it a fried bologna sandwich?
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: No, no.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: I'm talking the pure Oscar Meyer thick slip bologna.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: That's the one, you know, because as a kid, all right, maybe you're eating fried bologna.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: A lot of houses did.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: I'm talking, though, the classic lunch one, because mom wasn't frying bologna at six in the morning to get your ass out the door for school.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: No.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: She was taking two pieces of white bread, slapping a big thick piece of Oscar Meyer in there, shoving it in a sandwich bag, mustering it up, and off it went.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: Now get out of here, Timmy.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: And I always was like, who's Timmy?
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: He doesn't even live here.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: But um, but anyway, uh, it was that was the your thing is like too elite.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: That we can't go there.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: If this was you were a kid, because is there anyone listening that was like, yeah, uh BLT?
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: You took that to school by the time lunch would come around, it'd be the soggiest sandwich ever.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Let me uh read this one, and then you guys text in as well.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: You can either, once you get on that Wing 106 app or my Radio Jams app, there is a little notebook or a little microphone, and you can even tell us what your sandwich was.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: But uh mine was baloney as well.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Both but with ketchup.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Yuck.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Did you just hear the spit form in my mouth?
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: I'm like, okay.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Ketchup on baloney.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: You don't deserve to be an American.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: It is mustard on baloney.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Pure yellow.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: My question.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Not even the good, like brown mustard, just pure French's mustard.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: The classic.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: My question for you.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: My question for you, 1835, is do you still eat it?
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: That's the question.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: It was a kid now.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna go one step further with the most controversial comment that I've made in probably uh 11 months.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: What?
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: Bologna is far superior to a P B and J.
