  Speaker 1: Today is my last inspired podcast episode from a recent demonstration I did, but it's actually something that has been being toyed at in my head for quite a while.

  Speaker 1: So I'm really excited to talk about this and it's gonna probably be this jumbled mess.

  Speaker 1: But what I wanna talk about is the evidence spirit gives in readings and kinda how it relates to the message or what needs to be said in the reading.

  Speaker 1: Because, again, I've done the validation.

  Speaker 1: I've talked about the checklist, the evidence, before in this podcast, so I don't want to revisit there.

  Speaker 1: But I think a lot of people expect a lot of very similar information in terms of their mediumship readings and I think what is so hard about evidential mediumship readings is that people clients come in with a preconceived notion of what they want to hear in a lot of these sessions and I know personally I have preconceived notions as the medium, as what I wanna hear as evidence from the spirit to make sure that this is the best reading possible.

  Speaker 1: We are all normal for wanting to hear certain things from our dead loved ones, right?

  Speaker 1: We want them to talk about this specific memory.

  Speaker 1: We want them to bring in the password.

  Speaker 1: Can you give me a name?

  Speaker 1: Can you give me a number?

  Speaker 1: I totally get it.

  Speaker 1: I completely get it.

  Speaker 1: I wish it worked that way, worked that way, but it doesn't.

  Speaker 1: And here is why Because the information and evidence that Spirit brings in is specific to the person sitting in front of me and also specific to the message that they are going to give me.

  Speaker 1: And this is like advanced level topic here, because I don't talk about this within my beginner's mediumship class at all.

  Speaker 1: I will probably include this topic in the upcoming, like more advanced mediumship classes that I'm going to do, because we need to be very flexible in the type of that spirit brings in, case in point, story time.

  Speaker 1: Why this was so apparent in a recent demonstration that I gave is because very sneakily and bravo, by the way, bravo, I love the sneaky very sneakily in that demonstration there were two sisters in there on two different screens, two different names, right, just first names, but they looked similar and I kept looking at both of them and kind of flip-flopping them because I couldn't really tell them, tell the difference.

  Speaker 1: It was kind of funny.

  Speaker 1: But they both asked for their departed mother and I read that departed mother as two completely different spirits as the medium bringing the spirit through.

  Speaker 1: I could not tell that it was the same person.

  Speaker 1: So the first person was, I'm going to say, the younger sister.

  Speaker 1: And this younger sister, her mom, came in as I could feel that she was strict, I could feel that she was, you know, tough shell, but ultimately with the sister like it was a wonderful loving relationship, like like she's very flowy, she's a great cook.

  Speaker 1: She had me physically describe what she looked like, you know, and she felt so loving and youthful and her energy and and and amazing and fun and just this typical loving, amazing mom that came through and her message for her daughter was lovely and amazing and it was like, hey, you're doing amazing things, open your own business, you need to be doing this like full time.

  Speaker 1: You got to, you got to expand outside of your box, like like just very loving, proactive, empowering messages from this mom and it was just awesome, like it was a really good reading, she felt really good.

  Speaker 1: She cried.

  Speaker 1: Crying is always the indicator that I've I've hit, I've said what I had to say.

  Speaker 1: That's always my thumbs up from spirit.

  Speaker 1: When I cry, it's like double thumbs up, which is which is great, because that means they've got me too.

  Speaker 1: So that reading went well and then, about four people later, I called on her sister.

  Speaker 1: Unknowing.

  Speaker 1: Unknowingly, it was her sister who also asked for the same mother and that mother came through completely different.

  Speaker 1: That mother came through as a hard ass.

  Speaker 1: That mother came through as somebody who things were never good enough for her and I'm trying to remember Apologies, I do get mediumship, amnesia and this mom came through with you know how she'd never lived up to her own standards, that she had so much more potential than she had, and how you know she loved her family, but she always wanted more, she wanted better.

  Speaker 1: And the message for this daughter was why you hating yourself, right, like, why do you keep like saying how good she is and how strong and resilient and brave she is and how much she's done, and yet she continues to shit on herself?

  Speaker 1: Essentially?

  Speaker 1: And like, why do you keep doing that?
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: Like you are putting yourself in this box of misery?

  Speaker 1: Take, just take a step out of it and you're going to be able to see life from a whole different perspective.

  Speaker 1: And it is happy.

  Speaker 1: Like, like choose happiness every single day.

  Speaker 1: So very different evidence for this same mother, very different messages for this same mother and, to be totally honest with you, I need to sit with the energy of this mom.

  Speaker 1: She presented herself two completely different ways for me.

  Speaker 1: I did not read the energy wrong, because the energy she gave me with the younger daughter was higher vibration, almost like angelic vibration, this guardian angel that watches over you, and she was amazing.

  Speaker 1: And then the energy that she gave me with the older sister was, I'm going to say, lower vibration and she essentially set her vibrational level to meet her daughters where they're at, so that she could give the right evidence to get me to the right message.

  Speaker 1: And what's so funny to me is after she fessed up, after they fessed up, that it was the same spirit and I was like no way.

  Speaker 1: And they're like yeah, and I was like there's no way because she's so different, and they're like it's the same spirit.

  Speaker 1: I'm like well, I'll trust you.

  Speaker 1: I said it didn't like.

  Speaker 1: And then I saw kind of the strings.

  Speaker 1: It's weird in my brain.

  Speaker 1: I'll just describe what I saw.

  Speaker 1: Kind of the strings, it's weird In my brain.

  Speaker 1: I'll just describe what I saw, like the strings coming together and it was almost like two different personalities, because the two girls knew this mom as two very different people.

  Speaker 1: Right, like, the younger one knew this mom as a very loving person and the older one knew this mom as a very authoritative.

  Speaker 1: Like sadder, she's the oldest daughter.
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: Right, you bear the brunt of mom trying to figure out how to mom.

  Speaker 1: Right, I'm doing that with my son.
• 6:57
  Speaker 1: I totally get that.
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: So she's two different moms to these two different girls and that's why it felt like two different souls.

  Speaker 1: So this is, I guess, point number one that I wanted to make is that when spirits come through, they're going to come through for you and they're going to come through as you know them, as you can take them, and I have had demonstrations where it is entire family, like a room of 12 family members that are all related, and I will pull in the dead patriarch.

  Speaker 1: But only one person in the room can take the description of this patriarch that I'm saying.

  Speaker 1: Only one person can take the person that used to play hide and seek with them, that snuck them ice cream sandwiches, that was fun and light and joyful and never yelled and kind and like, had dementia but still lit up, you know, when they saw them in the hospital room.

  Speaker 1: Right, only one person in the room could take the patriarch, that the man that way, and that's who the reading was for, and I think that's that's how at least I do it, not sure how other people do it.

  Speaker 1: So when I have a room full of family members, I always say whoever can take the version that I'm saying, this one's for you, so you might all know who this is.

  Speaker 1: But if it's not your perspective of that person, it ain't for you.

  Speaker 1: And I think that was 100% like proven and backed up in this demonstration with these two daughters, because that's exactly what happened.

  Speaker 1: Right, we had one version of mom here, one version of mom here, same spirit, two different versions of her, which I thought was so interesting, so interesting, right, working with spirit.

  Speaker 1: So that's, you know, evidence, or that's the point number one I wanted to make.

  Speaker 1: And then point number two I wanted to make again is that the message, the evidence that they bring in, is part of the message.

  Speaker 1: It kind of sets me up as the medium for what I'm supposed to say and it creates a story and a flow to the reading.

  Speaker 1: You know, and I just I want to say that it hasn't always been that way.

  Speaker 1: You know, it used to be the checklist medium and then I move into the message.

  Speaker 1: But it's clunky when you do it that way, when you have evidence that doesn't match the message.

  Speaker 1: It's not a story, it's not a beautiful experience, I'm going to say for my clients.

  Speaker 1: So I want you to think about that.

  Speaker 1: If you are a client or if you're a medium, like, how does it flow?

  Speaker 1: How does it flow between you?

  Speaker 1: Know, you had a grandma that died at 92 of lung cancer and she was a singer and she's a dancer and you know she loved family.

  Speaker 1: And then she um, and you know she, she cherished the holiday meals and her favorite thing to cook was blueberry pie.

  Speaker 1: But then, as you get to the message, it's talking about um, I don't know your husband and how he's a dick, right, like, how does it feel?

  Speaker 1: Like it doesn't flow, like like when you're talking about one thing and you end up talking about something else entirely with the message like it's not a loving experience, it's more like what was that?

  Speaker 1: Like I felt like I just got hit from 17 different angles by all this different information.

  Speaker 1: Nothing flowed.

  Speaker 1: It didn't feel like grandma, right, it didn't feel like grandma.

  Speaker 1: Grandma was a storyteller.
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: So I want you to think about the evidence and how it flows into the message, and that's why you might get different evidence at certain points.

  Speaker 1: Right, you might get different things that you don't expect because it needs to weigh into the story.

  Speaker 1: I've beaten that one to the ground, so I'm going to stop saying that over and over again, but you know what I'm saying.

  Speaker 1: So with this oldest daughter once she confessed that it was the same spirit, they also admitted that they had been to quite a few mediums doing the same, the same schtick, coming in asking for the mom, and they're like it's like the same thing with every medium, and I was like, well, yeah, mom's delivering the same messages, and mom didn't pass too long ago, so they've gone to quite a few mediums in a very short period of time, getting a lot of the same readings and the same messages over and over again.

  Speaker 1: So I guess, like this is point one B that I want to say is that or it's to a whatever.

  Speaker 1: This is where if you go to a medium over and over and over again in a very short period of time, they're going to tell you the same thing over and over and over again, because you haven't moved on from your grief.

  Speaker 1: You haven't changed, you haven't done the work that they've asked you to do, so they're going to come through, giving you the same exact, probably evidence and messages to like go do your shit Otherwise.

  Speaker 1: Like, if you come back to talk to me, they're going to be like I'm just going to be a repeat record until you actually do something that's new, because we've proven they exist to you.

  Speaker 1: You obviously have been to enough mediums to know this is mom.

  Speaker 1: Why do you keep going?
• 11:56
  Speaker 1: I digress.
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: I know that there's an obsession with this work.
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: I want to talk about that at some point too, but that's the reality of it.

  Speaker 1: So they had gone to several different mediums where they had gotten the same essentially same evidence and same message.

  Speaker 1: And this oldest daughter was like lamenting in the middle of this demonstration about how her mom won't come through as this loving mom.

  Speaker 1: She comes through as this angry mom over and over and over again, this sad mom, over and over and over again.

  Speaker 1: And I said, well, what the fuck are you doing?
• 12:30
  Speaker 1: Sorry about all the swears, this one, but well, so what haven't you done that your mom keeps telling you to do?

  Speaker 1: Right?
• 12:39
  Speaker 1: Like if this message has come through over and over and over again, like if this message has come through over and over and over again.

  Speaker 1: Have you done the inner work to move past, to step out of that box and stop living life in a miserable perspective?

  Speaker 1: Have you stepped out of the box to see the sunshine, older sister, have you stopped hating on yourself and seen the light and identified what the positive aspects are?

  Speaker 1: Because I tell you what mom is going to keep coming through, saying that same message until you do something about it.

  Speaker 1: And hopefully that was like this ding moment in her brain, this epiphany moment where she kind of realized that.

  Speaker 1: But spirit meets where you're at.

  Speaker 1: They don't tell you again what you want to know.

  Speaker 1: They tell you what you need to know so that you can move on and hopefully overcome some of the self-limiting obstacles in your way, so that you can live your best life.

  Speaker 1: And that's what this mom is trying to do by giving this evidence and this message over and over again is say make a change.

  Speaker 1: It's up to you to make the change.
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: But this is the Mufasa moment in the sky where I'm going to tell you what you need to hear and if you don't make a change, if Simba goes to that field next time and sees Mufasa again, he's going to tell him the same thing over again, and I can't believe.

  Speaker 1: In this moment I'm forgetting what that is.

  Speaker 1: Remember who you are, that's what it was.

  Speaker 1: So that's what I mean about spirit.

  Speaker 1: So isn't that interesting that they've done the shtick several times, a lot of the same messages and evidence, and also sister is still wanting to walk in with a different expectation about what mom's going to say, even though she hasn't done the work to change it.

  Speaker 1: So isn't that, I don't know?

  Speaker 1: So interesting, right?

  Speaker 1: So interesting, yeah, so yeah, I guess that's my story of how I've seen spirits come in over and over again, which is pretty cool, how multiple spirits or one spirit can look totally different to multiple people, even in the same reading.

  Speaker 1: Even with me, as an expert in energy, they she gave me two different energies because it was like it was two different moms, right, and that that that was purpose built, that was not an accident.

  Speaker 1: And then also pay attention to the messages and how it.

  Speaker 1: First pay attention to the evidence and how it flows into the message, because part of the evidence should be flowing right into the message as well.

  Speaker 1: So those two are connected as well.

  Speaker 1: So, yeah, I hope that helps.

  Speaker 1: But sometimes I feel like I just dump a lot of knowledge on you, a lot of my mediumship perspective, and I hope you get it.

  Speaker 1: I hope it makes sense, and this is not because I don't think you can comprehend it, but mainly because I feel like this comes out in a garbled mess and I hope it made sense, coming out of my mouth, to explain it to all of you.
