- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hey, some marks, some own show on seven tenor.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Hey, Well, we'll get to the State of the Union.
- 0:13Speaker 3: We'll give you the inside story, and then we get
- 0:16Speaker 3: to Nancy Guthrie and the sad story. We'll get to
- 0:20Speaker 3: Gavin Newsome in trouble for racist remarks that he made.
- 0:24Speaker 3: We'll get to Mayor Mom, Donnie, We'll get to Hey,
- 0:27Speaker 3: we'll get to the Drudge Report if you're wondering whatever
- 0:30Speaker 3: happened to that? And a whole lot more coming up.
- 0:33Speaker 3: So the blizzard yesterday, Hey, looks great in Manhattan. I
- 0:37Speaker 3: don't know about where you are, but in Manhattan, a
- 0:39Speaker 3: lot of the snow is gone. The sidewalks, the streets
- 0:42Speaker 3: are absolutely clear. Temperature is cold, but bright sunshine yesterday
- 0:46Speaker 3: and today has helped get rid of a lot of
- 0:48Speaker 3: that snow. Manhattan looks great right now. Easy to walk
- 0:52Speaker 3: on the sidewalks, easy to drive around now. The suburbs,
- 0:55Speaker 3: that's a different story. And Staten Island and Queens and Brooklyn,
- 0:58Speaker 3: that's a different story. But it turns out that this snowstorm,
- 1:03Speaker 3: this blizzard, was in the top ten city snowstorms on
- 1:08Speaker 3: record for Manhattan, actually for New York City, it's in
- 1:12Speaker 3: the top ten. Central Park in Manhattan got nineteen inches,
- 1:17Speaker 3: which would beat the January twenty eleven blizzard. You know
- 1:22Speaker 3: when they took it, the blizzard of twenty sixteen, or
- 1:26Speaker 3: the blizzard of twenty eleven. I don't remember any of these.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Do you remember this? So you'll forget about this too.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Staten Island got the worst of it in New York
- 1:33Speaker 3: City twenty four inches. People in Manhattan were very happy
- 1:38Speaker 3: with Mayor Mom Donnie and getting things cleaned up. People
- 1:42Speaker 3: in Staten Island are fuming and furious at them, and
- 1:44Speaker 3: rightfully so. It's an absolute mess there. Nobody can get
- 1:47Speaker 3: out of their driveway, nobody can get their car, nobody
- 1:50Speaker 3: can get out of their house. And he opened schools today.
- 1:53Speaker 3: But if you're in Staten Island, I don't know how
- 1:55Speaker 3: the hell you're supposed to be able to get there.
- 1:57Speaker 3: And residents are very very upse said about.
- 2:00Speaker 4: That, there's no way that you're ready to safely get
- 2:03Speaker 4: kids on and off of bus, and even to have
- 2:07Speaker 4: the bus driver safely make it up and down some
- 2:10Speaker 4: of these streets.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Look at the streets.
- 2:12Speaker 5: They no way you're ready to be done, You know,
- 2:15Speaker 5: no one could get to No one could get anywhere.
- 2:18Speaker 1: No.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I hate to break it to you, but Manhattan's pretty
- 2:20Speaker 3: clear right now now. As I said, Central Park got
- 2:23Speaker 3: nineteen inches, but the worst of Manhattan was Washington Heights.
- 2:28Speaker 3: They got twenty two inches, twenty two inches in Queens
- 2:32Speaker 3: twenty two. Around the Bronx got off the best, fourteen
- 2:35Speaker 3: point eight inches. That's a little better now. The outer
- 2:39Speaker 3: Borrows it was pretty bad. Parts of Long Island got
- 2:41Speaker 3: twenty four inches. Parts of South Shore, especially out towards
- 2:46Speaker 3: the Hahmpton's got almost up to three feet. Babylon you
- 2:50Speaker 3: got twenty nine and a half inches, almost thirty inches
- 2:53Speaker 3: in Babylon. But Manhattan looks great. It looks great right
- 3:00Speaker 3: now now. The other only problem here is the garbage
- 3:03Speaker 3: is piling up. But one reason for that they take
- 3:06Speaker 3: a lot of the sanitation department and switch them over
- 3:08Speaker 3: to snow removal and snow shoveling, So they do ignore
- 3:11Speaker 3: the garbage for a day or two while they clean
- 3:14Speaker 3: up the snow. So snow's a little better right now.
- 3:18Speaker 3: And then the same thing that happened last time. The
- 3:20Speaker 3: garbage will pile up for a week, and then they'll
- 3:22Speaker 3: start to get it. A lot of people think Mayor
- 3:24Speaker 3: Mom Donny was a little crazy to open schools today.
- 3:28Speaker 3: He loves those shoveling videos. He's a real TikToker snow.
- 3:32Speaker 3: He's out there shoveling.
- 3:33Speaker 6: Due to the historic nature of this blizzard, we've increased
- 3:36Speaker 6: pay to thirty dollars per those walk into any DS
- 3:39Speaker 6: and Y garage until eight pm this evening and then
- 3:42Speaker 6: starting again at nine am tomorrow. All you need to
- 3:45Speaker 6: bring is two forms of ID to ensure you get paid.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Do you have two forms of ID on you at
- 3:50Speaker 3: any one time? I think I do. No, I don't
- 3:53Speaker 3: know two forms of ID, not just one. But some
- 3:56Speaker 3: people find it kind of pathetic that he's relying on
- 3:59Speaker 3: a bunch of amateurs showing up to shovel snow. And
- 4:03Speaker 3: I think the two forms of ID might kill that
- 4:05Speaker 3: a little. You know, if you didn't need an ID,
- 4:07Speaker 3: you might get all the illegal showing up to shovel snow.
- 4:10Speaker 3: But hey, tonight is the State of the Union speech.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Now you're hearing all kinds of narrative. You know, the media,
- 4:18Speaker 3: the democratic media fake news complex, starts these narratives. One
- 4:24Speaker 3: is that this is crucial because the president's poll numbers
- 4:27Speaker 3: are so low right now, his approval rating is so
- 4:31Speaker 3: far down. He's behind in independence now. None of this
- 4:34Speaker 3: is true. None of this is true. Oh, I know
- 4:37Speaker 3: they put up these polls. Oh, latest ABC episodes poll,
- 4:40Speaker 3: the Washington Post, a Southern such poll, the College poll.
- 4:44Speaker 3: They put all these things up. These are totally totally
- 4:48Speaker 3: false polls. The most important thing when you read a
- 4:51Speaker 3: poll is go look at the metrics. Who did they poll?
- 4:55Speaker 3: If they pulled the voting public, then take it seriously.
- 4:59Speaker 3: But none of these polls pull the actual voters that
- 5:02Speaker 3: are going to be voting. The first thing they do.
- 5:04Speaker 3: There's a number of tricks they do. One, if you
- 5:05Speaker 3: look at these polls, in the metrics, they have Republicans
- 5:10Speaker 3: at twenty six percent of the sample, which is ludicrous.
- 5:13Speaker 3: They should be thirty eight percent of the sample. So
- 5:16Speaker 3: they've already rigged it by twelve points right there. Then
- 5:18Speaker 3: they don't use likely voters. Instead, they use what they
- 5:21Speaker 3: call adults, which means they pick whoever they want. They
- 5:25Speaker 3: could do it at the faculty lounge at Columbia University.
- 5:28Speaker 3: And they use all the wrong demographics. This is six
- 5:31Speaker 3: ways they do this, and that's why the approval rating
- 5:35Speaker 3: is so low, but you could always always assume at
- 5:38Speaker 3: least a twelve point rigging, in some cases of fifteen
- 5:41Speaker 3: point rigging. So whatever it is, AD fifteen and you'll
- 5:45Speaker 3: have the real number. Though, the fake narrative is that
- 5:49Speaker 3: tonight is his only hope of turning this around. He's
- 5:53Speaker 3: got to turn it around to No, no, none of
- 5:54Speaker 3: that is true tonight. The speech the other thing you
- 5:58Speaker 3: keep hearing if you watch all the crazy left wing
- 6:01Speaker 3: MSNBC type stuff. It could be done because he could
- 6:05Speaker 3: say awful things. He could go off script. You know
- 6:07Speaker 3: when he goes off script and he lashes out and
- 6:10Speaker 3: he starts at well, first of all, he's done five
- 6:13Speaker 3: State of the Union speeches. This will be his sixth.
- 6:16Speaker 3: He's already done five State of the Union addresses. Check
- 6:20Speaker 3: the record. In all five he never went off script.
- 6:24Speaker 3: He stuck right to the script. Whatever crazy things, these,
- 6:28Speaker 3: these fake news types of telling you are going to happen.
- 6:31Speaker 3: He's done five of these and it never happened in
- 6:33Speaker 3: any of them. Now it will go long. It's too long.
- 6:39Speaker 7: You know.
- 6:39Speaker 3: When he does these States of the Union, especially the
- 6:41Speaker 3: last few, they go way too long. You're supposed to
- 6:43Speaker 3: do about an hour. It starts around nine actually nine, nine, ten,
- 6:48Speaker 3: nine fifteen, so you do till like ten to fifteen.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Shortest one I think Richard Nixon did one. It was
- 6:54Speaker 3: about thirty minutes. But you're supposed to do about an hour.
- 6:56Speaker 3: You could go an hour in twenty minutes and about
- 7:00Speaker 3: ten fifteen, ten twenty. You could end at ten thirty
- 7:02Speaker 3: if you had to. He has been going long. Now
- 7:05Speaker 3: he'll go long tonight, maybe till eleven, maybe till eleven
- 7:10Speaker 3: oh five. Now, why would such a great showman, he's
- 7:13Speaker 3: probably the best out of any president, the greatest showman
- 7:16Speaker 3: of any president. Why would a great speaker go so long?
- 7:20Speaker 3: It's deliberate, it's a strategy. There's a democratic response after
- 7:26Speaker 3: his speech, and the democratics response always attacks him like crazy,
- 7:30Speaker 3: calls him a liar, all that sort of stuff. A
- 7:33Speaker 3: lot of people don't stay around and watch a response.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Some do, but not everybody. But if you go long,
- 7:38Speaker 3: if you can go to about eleven, and then they
- 7:41Speaker 3: after the speech, they do a little bit of a
- 7:43Speaker 3: wrap up, a recap, and then about ten minutes later
- 7:47Speaker 3: they go to the rebuttal. If you can delay that rebuttal,
- 7:50Speaker 3: till about eleven fifteen. Most people will not watch it.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Very few people will watch it. At eleven o'clock. People
- 7:56Speaker 3: want to go go to sleep or watch something else.
- 7:59Speaker 3: They've had enough. So he's gonna deliberately go along move
- 8:03Speaker 3: that rebuttal into the eleven o'clock hour, like eleven to fifteen,
- 8:06Speaker 3: so very few people we'll see it. Now, many Democrats
- 8:11Speaker 3: are going to boycott tonight's speech. And look, here's the list.
- 8:14Speaker 3: It's like, I don't know, thirty five forty Democrats will
- 8:18Speaker 3: boycott the speech. All these Adam Schiff type childish yelling
- 8:24Speaker 3: and screaming and whining and kicking and screaming, they'll boycott
- 8:27Speaker 3: the speech. Now there's gonna be alternative State of the
- 8:30Speaker 3: Unions that Democrats will hold one in the National Mall,
- 8:34Speaker 3: you know crazy, you know, ranting and raving kind of
- 8:37Speaker 3: alternative things. The rumor is that somewhere during the State
- 8:44Speaker 3: of Union tonight, a bunch of Democrats will get up
- 8:46Speaker 3: and walk out. This is the rumor that they're going
- 8:50Speaker 3: to stage a walkout during the speech. The President is
- 8:54Speaker 3: aware of this rumor, and if they do it, he's
- 8:58Speaker 3: got some great responses ready to go that will now,
- 9:01Speaker 3: if they do a walk out in the middle of speech,
- 9:03Speaker 3: that will seriously damage the Democrats, seriously hurt them. The
- 9:08Speaker 3: President will stick to the script like he always does.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Democrats have a history the last few years of Trump
- 9:15Speaker 3: of totally embarrassing themselves at State of the Union speeches
- 9:20Speaker 3: by booing, by refusing to applaud the poor kid who's
- 9:23Speaker 3: dying of cancer, the things like that. So if they
- 9:25Speaker 3: do a walkout tonight, it will continue their tradition and
- 9:29Speaker 3: make it even worse the image of Democrats. The US
- 9:34Speaker 3: A hockey team will be there. President will introduce them.
- 9:38Speaker 3: That'll be a big deal. Some of those women's team,
- 9:41Speaker 3: they won't show up. And fake news playing this up
- 9:45Speaker 3: they would refuse to show up for presidents. Well, if
- 9:47Speaker 3: you check the record, plenty of teams refuse to show up,
- 9:51Speaker 3: and plenty of players for every president. The New England Patriots.
- 9:54Speaker 3: You know, every year the Super Bowl champion goes to
- 9:56Speaker 3: the White House, and every year when it was Obama,
- 9:59Speaker 3: when it was Biden, when it was Bush, certain players
- 10:02Speaker 3: refused to go and refused to show up. So that's
- 10:04Speaker 3: perfectly normal. Don't believe the fake news narrative. Some of
- 10:08Speaker 3: the Epstein they call them the Epstein girls, victims, the
- 10:12Speaker 3: Epstein girls. They're like forty three now forty five, a
- 10:16Speaker 3: lot of them. But they'll be there because Democrats are
- 10:19Speaker 3: inviting them. They're trying to make some kind of a
- 10:22Speaker 3: connection between Trump and these Epstein women, even though there's
- 10:25Speaker 3: no possible connection. And they call them the victims. They
- 10:28Speaker 3: are victims, but they're going to try to use them
- 10:32Speaker 3: as props tonight. They'll have them there. And if you
- 10:36Speaker 3: watch the crazy news, the Morning Joe type stuff, and
- 10:39Speaker 3: the President what he actually refused to acknowledge the Epstein victims,
- 10:44Speaker 3: and well it was the Democrats that refused to acknowledge them.
- 10:49Speaker 3: In fact, for four years under the Biden administration, under
- 10:52Speaker 3: Merrick Garland, under all of that, they hid the Epstein files.
- 10:57Speaker 3: They buried it, refused to release it, refused they wouldn't
- 10:59Speaker 3: even talk about it. So for four years it was
- 11:02Speaker 3: Trump that two things happened with Trump. First term of Trump.
- 11:06Speaker 3: In the first term of Trump that he arrested Jeffrey Epstein.
- 11:09Speaker 3: It was the Trump administration that arrested Jeffrey Epstein and
- 11:12Speaker 3: put him in prison where he killed himself. In the
- 11:16Speaker 3: second term, it was the Trump administration that released the
- 11:19Speaker 3: files under pressure. But remember it was the Democrats during
- 11:23Speaker 3: their four years that absolutely hid the files, never mentioned them,
- 11:27Speaker 3: never talked about them, kept them buried. So we'll get
- 11:31Speaker 3: back to the State of the Union speech. Hey, terrible
- 11:35Speaker 3: Nancy Guthrie video that's come out. She's increased the reward
- 11:40Speaker 3: to a million dollars. Now, a lot of people were wondering, well,
- 11:42Speaker 3: why didn't you do that the first day? Fifty thousand
- 11:45Speaker 3: was kind of low for a case like this, But
- 11:47Speaker 3: she's put out this. This is hard to watch. It's
- 11:49Speaker 3: her crying into the camera that she she pretty much
- 11:55Speaker 3: realizes her mother is probably gone, but she wants information,
- 11:59Speaker 3: wants to know what happened and of where the mother is.
- 12:01Speaker 3: This is it, I think part of it.
- 12:03Speaker 8: We need to know where she is.
- 12:07Speaker 1: We need her to come home.
- 12:10Speaker 8: For that reason, we are offering a family reward of
- 12:15Speaker 8: up to one dollars for any information that leads us
- 12:22Speaker 8: to her recovery. All of the information about this reward
- 12:28Speaker 8: and the details is in the caftion below.
- 12:32Speaker 3: You can call the Yeah, it's it's a very sad
- 12:36Speaker 3: video to watch and they have no idea what it's
- 12:39Speaker 3: now twenty four days. It's twenty four days that she's
- 12:42Speaker 3: been going, and it's hard to be leieve that she'd
- 12:45Speaker 3: be alive, a woman in bad health, a woman with
- 12:48Speaker 3: a pacemaker who needed all kinds of medication, blood pressure,
- 12:52Speaker 3: heart medications, twenty four days without that stuff. So we'll see.
- 12:57Speaker 3: They still have no idea, absolutely no idea. What happened, Hey,
- 13:03Speaker 3: the Drudge Report. People always asking me about the Drudge Report.
- 13:06Speaker 3: You know, it was a conservative, anti democratic, the Drudge Report,
- 13:12Speaker 3: and everybody read it had millions and millions, very often,
- 13:15Speaker 3: the number one website in the world, and then something
- 13:18Speaker 3: happened around twenty nineteen, all of a sudden, it went
- 13:21Speaker 3: left wing. If you look at the drug Drudge Report now,
- 13:24Speaker 3: it's hard to look at it now, it's just bashing Trump.
- 13:26Speaker 3: It hates Trump, it hates Republicans, it hates it's the
- 13:29Speaker 3: most left wing wacko set. And a lot of people say, well,
- 13:32Speaker 3: what happened to Matt Drudge, What happened? What caused this switch? Well,
- 13:37Speaker 3: nobody absolutely one thousand percent knows because they're keeping it
- 13:39Speaker 3: very quiet. But it has been reported that Drudge in
- 13:44Speaker 3: twenty nineteen sold the Drudge Report. So this thing you're
- 13:47Speaker 3: reading now has nothing to do with Matt Drudge. He's
- 13:50Speaker 3: not involved. He is definitely not involved. He's long gone
- 13:52Speaker 3: from the Drudge Report. But it's believed that he sold
- 13:55Speaker 3: it in twenty nineteen to a left wing billionaire who
- 13:59Speaker 3: bought it totally changed it. Basically, you first neutralized it
- 14:04Speaker 3: and then turned it into a very very anti Trump,
- 14:07Speaker 3: anti Republican site, and readership is way down. It used
- 14:12Speaker 3: to be the number one most read website. Readership is
- 14:15Speaker 3: down like sixty five percent or something like that. But
- 14:18Speaker 3: Drudge is long gone. Supposedly he made a fortune off
- 14:24Speaker 3: the sale. Rasmussen actually reported it first in twenty nineteen.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Drudge no longer involved. Believe he sold it to it
- 14:31Speaker 3: the left wing billionaire. Drudge is a I used to
- 14:34Speaker 3: know Matt Rudge very well. He's a guy who loves
- 14:35Speaker 3: to travel the world and enjoy all sorts of things
- 14:38Speaker 3: all over the world and travel of luxury stuff, cars,
- 14:43Speaker 3: all that sort of stuff. Made himself a fortune with it,
- 14:46Speaker 3: and you know, even when it was as big as
- 14:48Speaker 3: it was, he always said that one day he would
- 14:52Speaker 3: just close it down. That was his plan. I don't
- 14:54Speaker 3: know why. He just said it was big as it
- 14:56Speaker 3: was one day we just turn it off like that. Well, instead,
- 15:00Speaker 3: somebody came along and offered a fortune and it was
- 15:03Speaker 3: kind of turning it off in a way. So it's
- 15:05Speaker 3: no longer anything to do with Matt Drudge or the
- 15:07Speaker 3: Drudge Report, So just disregarded. Don't even check it anymore. Hey,
- 15:13Speaker 3: we'll take some calls in a minute. Oh you know,
- 15:15Speaker 3: we're gonna have our big event March nineteenth. It's going
- 15:19Speaker 3: to be this big networking event, a lot of business leaders,
- 15:21Speaker 3: a lot of CEOs. It's a fun event, but it's
- 15:24Speaker 3: a great chance to meet a lot of business leaders
- 15:26Speaker 3: in network with people. I'll be there, Larry MENTI, you'll
- 15:28Speaker 3: be there, Curtis will be there, Curtis lee Well will
- 15:31Speaker 3: be one of our speaker. It's just short speech, nothing,
- 15:34Speaker 3: but it's mostly a fun event and you'll have a
- 15:36Speaker 3: great time and it's a great networking opportunity. You meet
- 15:39Speaker 3: a lot of great business leaders and a lot of
- 15:41Speaker 3: great CEOs. It's March nineteenth, six to eight pm, two
- 15:45Speaker 3: hours in the evening, like a little cocktail two hours
- 15:48Speaker 3: March nineteenth. We're gonna have it at this beautiful new venue.
- 15:51Speaker 3: If you're looking a great place for a corporate event.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Two Park Avenues. This new building and on the top

- 16:05Speaker 3: To Park Avenue, they got a beautiful view out the windows.
- 16:09Speaker 3: It's they got an incredible terrace with a beautiful view.
- 16:12Speaker 3: So if you're looking for a great space for a

- 16:48Speaker 2: Now back to the Mark Simone Show on WR.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 16:57Speaker 3: how you.
- 16:57Speaker 9: Doing, Good morning, Mark.
- 16:59Speaker 10: I'm doing very well, Thank you very much. Mark.
- 17:02Speaker 11: A day or two ago, I was watching Fox News
- 17:04Speaker 11: Channel and one of the commentators gave the impression that
- 17:08Speaker 11: Iran is about a week or two away from actually
- 17:12Speaker 11: becoming a nuclear power. And my question, is there any
- 17:17Speaker 11: timeline to that fact?
- 17:18Speaker 3: Well, yeah, good question, Dave. That was actually negotiator Steve
- 17:22Speaker 3: Whitkoff meeting with the Iranians warning the world.
- 17:25Speaker 12: They've been enriching well beyond the number that you need for.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Civil nuclear it's it's up to sixty percent.
- 17:35Speaker 12: They're probably a week away from having industrial, industrial grade
- 17:42Speaker 12: bomb making material.
- 17:44Speaker 3: And that's well scary stuff. Now again, that's material. The
- 17:47Speaker 3: nuclear plants and all that are gone, but that's scary stuff.
- 17:51Speaker 3: And I think the President will address that tonight in
- 17:54Speaker 3: tonight's speech. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how
- 17:57Speaker 3: you doing.
- 17:58Speaker 13: Good morning, Mark, wishing all my fellow New Yorkers good
- 18:02Speaker 13: luck with this stupid snow.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah, well, good luck with your eight hurricanes you're going
- 18:06Speaker 3: to have this year.
- 18:07Speaker 10: I'm not being sarcastic.
- 18:09Speaker 13: I'm gonna believe me.
- 18:10Speaker 10: I'm not told.
- 18:10Speaker 13: About that either, or the power outages.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Every time about snow, it just melts and goes away.
- 18:15Speaker 3: It doesn't knock your house like those that's for sure.
- 18:18Speaker 13: You said it, Yeah, but you know it was funny
- 18:22Speaker 13: because you know, Trump is getting excoriated now for joking
- 18:25Speaker 13: with the men's hockey team. You know, these are the
- 18:28Speaker 13: same people who pride themselves on having these great senses
- 18:30Speaker 13: of humor and being open minded and so forth. And
- 18:34Speaker 13: they can't take a joke. None of them can take
- 18:35Speaker 13: They're all glass jaws when it comes.
- 18:37Speaker 3: To Nobody has less of a sense of humor than
- 18:39Speaker 3: Democrats like Kimmel, Colbert, no sense of humor whatsoever. Let's
- 18:45Speaker 3: go to Let's go to Lorraine in Long Island. Lorraine,
- 18:47Speaker 3: how you doing.
- 18:49Speaker 14: I'm fine, Thank you, good morning, Mark, thank you for
- 18:51Speaker 14: taking my call.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Hey, where are you in Long Island?
- 18:54Speaker 14: I'm in Marich's Day.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Oh you got a lot of snow there south shore? Right?
- 18:58Speaker 14: Oh, yes, quite a bit, quite a bit much out now. Thanks,
- 19:03Speaker 14: thanks for that. Just a quick question. There doesn't seem
- 19:07Speaker 14: to be much reporting on the DHS shut shutdown regarding
- 19:11Speaker 14: TSA at the airports. And I'm planning a trip to
- 19:14Speaker 14: Florida in March, and what do you think is going
- 19:18Speaker 14: to happen with that w would be over by then
- 19:21Speaker 14: or what's going on there?
- 19:23Speaker 3: That should be okay, but you may not have the
- 19:27Speaker 3: what do you call it the pre check you know
- 19:29Speaker 3: where you Yes, do you have that where you.
- 19:31Speaker 11: Don't wait in the line, Yes, I do.
- 19:34Speaker 3: You might you might get effect on. They might have
- 19:36Speaker 3: to shut that down. But uh well this could change
- 19:40Speaker 3: at any moment. You got you got a week or two,
- 19:42Speaker 3: so hopefully it gets settled. A good question. Uh you know,
- 19:47Speaker 3: they're not funded the Department of Homeland Security. This is
- 19:50Speaker 3: their new thing. Instead of defund the police, defund Department
- 19:53Speaker 3: Homeland Security. But that includes a secret service in there.
- 19:56Speaker 3: FEMA is in that department and the TSA, so they're
- 20:00Speaker 3: working right now. There's enough money to keep paying them,
- 20:02Speaker 3: but it could run out and they might have to
- 20:04Speaker 3: cancel that TSA pre check stuff. But also believe or not,
- 20:10Speaker 3: if you're in Congress, you get a special escort that
- 20:12Speaker 3: walks you past the line. So they have announced they
- 20:16Speaker 3: have to cancel that special escort program due to a
- 20:19Speaker 3: manpower shortage there. But that's just to make the make
- 20:23Speaker 3: the congressmen and women feel the pain of this. Let's
- 20:26Speaker 3: go to John in Norwalk, Connecticut. Hey, John, Hi, how
- 20:30Speaker 3: are you good.
- 20:31Speaker 15: I'm just curious. Mark under report that the kid who
- 20:36Speaker 15: shot the the insurances that get over in the back.
- 20:39Speaker 15: I'm told that they the judge is taking the death
- 20:41Speaker 15: penalty off the table.
- 20:42Speaker 3: How is it possible, Well, it looks like they may
- 20:45Speaker 3: have They may lose the charge. It has a death penalty,
- 20:48Speaker 3: it's possible he could.
- 20:49Speaker 15: And also that the gun was not admitted is evidence.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Well this hasn't been settled yet. But remember the good
- 20:57Speaker 3: news that they're arguing that when he was a something
- 21:00Speaker 3: was illegal in the arrest. But the good news is
- 21:04Speaker 3: he shot him right outside our window, right over there
- 21:06Speaker 3: on the corner. And yeah, it's right outside the window.
- 21:09Speaker 3: The good news is every into Manhattan has surveillance video cameras,
- 21:13Speaker 3: so you can watch him shoot the guy. You can
- 21:15Speaker 3: see the video. There's no way, no way he doesn't
- 21:18Speaker 3: get convicted. Let's go to Dan and Queen's Dan. How
- 21:21Speaker 3: you doing.
- 21:23Speaker 16: Hi? You know, for years the Democrats have been putting
- 21:27Speaker 16: out propaganda about global warming and the earth is warming.
- 21:30Speaker 16: So now they're not prepared when we have this huge blizzards.
- 21:33Speaker 16: They're all struck by something like this that could happen.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Well, you got to remember everything they told you turned
- 21:39Speaker 3: out to be false. If you go get the Al
- 21:41Speaker 3: Gore movie An Inconvenient Truth, from twenty years ago. Watch
- 21:44Speaker 3: it now. Every single thing he predicted was not only false,
- 21:48Speaker 3: the exact opposite happened. You know, he said, well, there
- 21:51Speaker 3: are only seven thousand polar bears, there won't be any
- 21:53Speaker 3: in ten years. Well, there's more polar bears than ever
- 21:55Speaker 3: this twenty thousand. Remember we said the glacier will recede
- 21:58Speaker 3: and be gone. The glacier's bier than ever. Everything he said,
- 22:02Speaker 3: just the opposite happened. There one more call, Bill from Lafayette, Bill,
- 22:06Speaker 3: how you doing okay?
- 22:08Speaker 14: Mark?
- 22:09Speaker 9: The police officers being hit by snowballs today, it really
- 22:13Speaker 9: bothered me.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Oh, it's horrible. We're going to get to that in
- 22:15Speaker 3: the next hour. A bunch of kids throwing I don't
- 22:17Speaker 3: know if there were kids, but a police officer's been
- 22:19Speaker 3: hit with snowballs. It's really ugly video. We'll get to
- 22:22Speaker 3: that in the next hour. The police are going to
- 22:24Speaker 3: respond to that. But when we come back, John Carney,
- 22:28Speaker 3: who's this guy is the smartest, brightest business reporter in
- 22:33Speaker 3: the world. He can explain the tariffs better than anybody.
- 22:37Speaker 3: And it's obviously going to be a big topic, the tariffs.
- 22:39Speaker 3: The Supreme Court ruling tonight on the State of the
- 22:43Speaker 3: Union speech. But we'll talk to him about that, the economy,
- 22:45Speaker 3: and a whole lot more just ahead on seven to ten, Worrs.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Mark Simone Show continues.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Now, well, we bring you the smartest guests around. Now.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Nobody better on the sub business the economy than John Carney.
- 23:03Speaker 3: He runs as the editor of Breitbart Business Digest, which
- 23:07Speaker 3: you should subscribe to Breitbart Business Digest, excellent stuff every day,
- 23:13Speaker 3: and of course follow him on Twitter and you'll see
- 23:16Speaker 3: him on TV all the time. John Carney, how you doing.
- 23:20Speaker 5: I'm doing good? Thanks Mark.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Hey, nobody better on the subject of tariffs. Now, just
- 23:25Speaker 3: explain to everybody there will continue to be tariffs, right.
- 23:28Speaker 3: The President will find another way to do it.
- 23:31Speaker 5: Absolutely, Look the President has already announced one way he's
- 23:35Speaker 5: doing it that's limited to one hundred and fifty days.
- 23:38Speaker 5: But this is the game plan. So they've been working
- 23:40Speaker 5: on this for months. I know this because I was
- 23:44Speaker 5: speaking to people six months ago really about you know, hey, guys,
- 23:49Speaker 5: what happens if the tariffs that you're doing get overturned.
- 23:53Speaker 5: We're there will be no gap. We will have tariffs
- 23:58Speaker 5: back the next day, in fact, the same day. And
- 24:03Speaker 5: one of the things they're gonna do is the one
- 24:04Speaker 5: hundred and fifty days will run, and then there will
- 24:06Speaker 5: be new tariffs that they're going to implement. The one
- 24:09Speaker 5: hundred and fifty days. It's almost just opening time. So
- 24:13Speaker 5: a lot of these other tariff laws required you to
- 24:17Speaker 5: do studies. They require Commerce Department reports, and then you
- 24:21Speaker 5: can implement the terrifs. So we get these they call
- 24:24Speaker 5: them Section one twenty two turriffs one hundred and fifty days.
- 24:27Speaker 5: Then we'll get the other tariffs as well. So, yes,
- 24:31Speaker 5: the policy doesn't change, even if the tools might have to.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Yeah. So when the MSNBC crowd reports things like an
- 24:39Speaker 3: incredible knockdown of the Trump terror the Supreme Court, basically
- 24:43Speaker 3: the game wasn't more of a slap on the wrist.
- 24:45Speaker 3: They didn't even suggest any remedy or anything. They kind
- 24:48Speaker 3: of left them a little wiggle room there, didn't they.
- 24:51Speaker 5: Yeah, look the idea that this is like some humiliating defeat.
- 24:57Speaker 5: The three the two best judges on the Supreme Court,
- 25:02Speaker 5: which is which are Alito and Thomas sided with Trump
- 25:06Speaker 5: on this. Kavanaugh sided with Trump on this, he and
- 25:10Speaker 5: rising star young guy. But I will say that they
- 25:15Speaker 5: are when the Supreme Court takes a case, it usually
- 25:19Speaker 5: means that it's actually an interesting and close case of
- 25:24Speaker 5: the law. It doesn't need to take the easy cases.
- 25:26Speaker 9: Yea.
- 25:27Speaker 5: And this decision had a million opinions in it, so
- 25:30Speaker 5: you had the Roberts opinion, but Thomas writing separately, the
- 25:34Speaker 5: Gorsuch opinion. The liberal judges had at least two opinions.
- 25:38Speaker 5: So the idea that you know, there's this was some
- 25:41Speaker 5: sort of huge stepback. It was a close thing in
- 25:45Speaker 5: many ways, and you lost six to three, But that
- 25:49Speaker 5: doesn't mean that it wasn't worth at least trying.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Yeah. Hey, now, John Carney, the Democrats claim that they
- 25:57Speaker 3: hate tariffs, that it's the worst thing in the world. Well,
- 26:00Speaker 3: there for corporate tax. Doesn't corporate tax raise the price
- 26:04Speaker 3: more than the tariff might.
- 26:07Speaker 5: And by the way, a lot of these down crash
- 26:08Speaker 5: used to be four terriffs until the game before yesterday.
- 26:12Speaker 5: They hate them because Donald Trump's for them. It's one
- 26:14Speaker 5: hundred percent Trump arrangement syndrome. But you're right, look what
- 26:20Speaker 5: the main thing, and you know, most directly, a tariff
- 26:25Speaker 5: is a form of corporate tax. It makes a company
- 26:27Speaker 5: doing an import pay a tax. Now who ultimately bears
- 26:32Speaker 5: the cost, you know, consumers, foreign manufacturers, the shareholders of
- 26:39Speaker 5: the company. That's a more complicated question, but it's the
- 26:43Speaker 5: same question as a corporate tax. So when Democrats declare
- 26:47Speaker 5: that a that you know, this is a tax on consumers.
- 26:51Speaker 5: If they're right about that, every corporate tax is a
- 26:54Speaker 5: tax on consumers as well. So it's really amazingly hypocritical
- 26:58Speaker 5: in them to have discovered that they don't like tax
- 27:01Speaker 5: in corporations simply because Donald.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Trump is doing it one way.
- 27:06Speaker 5: It's incredible to watch, and I think it's going to
- 27:10Speaker 5: backfire on them because they are hurting their arguments right,
- 27:15Speaker 5: Like when they say it'll get passed on to consumers.
- 27:18Speaker 5: Guess what, that's the argument against raising corporate taxes, the
- 27:21Speaker 5: argument against environmental regulation, to see, you know, all of
- 27:24Speaker 5: these things can get passed on to consumers.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's in the tariff worst because if you've
- 27:29Speaker 3: put a corporate tax at ten percent on Apple BMW,
- 27:34Speaker 3: they pay the whole ten percent if you put a tariff.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Isn't it true that they don't really have to pay
- 27:39Speaker 3: the whole tariff, that it's paid overseas or with middlemen sometimes?
- 27:43Speaker 5: Yeah, well, exactly. So one of the things about the
- 27:46Speaker 5: tariff is that some of it will be borne by
- 27:49Speaker 5: the foreign producers. The other thing is that foreign corporations
- 27:54Speaker 5: pay some of these taxes, so that this is one
- 27:58Speaker 5: of the things that's really deceptive of the way it's
- 28:00Speaker 5: the story is sold, Oh, Americans are paying taxes because
- 28:03Speaker 5: importers pay them. Sure, but let's say you're Toyota, right
- 28:08Speaker 5: and you are taking and your American subsidiary is for
- 28:12Speaker 5: your BYD the Chinese auto manufacturer, and you're paying tariffs.
- 28:17Speaker 5: Are you an American paying tariffs? Yes, technically you're an
- 28:21Speaker 5: American subsidiary of a foreign company, but really it's the
- 28:25Speaker 5: foreign company that's paying the tariffs. And so even when
- 28:30Speaker 5: they try to say Americans are paying the terriffs, it
- 28:32Speaker 5: turns out a lot of those Americans are Chinese, Japanese, German,
- 28:36Speaker 5: you know, they're not really Americans to begin with.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, now, if Donald Trump, but a president
- 28:41Speaker 3: is listening right now, what advice would you give them
- 28:43Speaker 3: for tonight's day?
- 28:44Speaker 5: I would say, really easily, mister president, there you are
- 28:49Speaker 5: allowed to charge a license to import or to export
- 28:54Speaker 5: things into the US. The president should absolutely say to
- 28:59Speaker 5: each country that runs a large deficit that they must
- 29:03Speaker 5: for their country purchase an export license to the US.
- 29:07Speaker 5: And you can set that at the same billions of
- 29:10Speaker 5: dollars they would have been paying in tariffs. It's an elegant,
- 29:14Speaker 5: easy solution. It's totally legal. It's legal. Even it was
- 29:18Speaker 5: legal before the Supreme Court case. It's in a sense
- 29:21Speaker 5: more legal now because they said you can't do tariffs,
- 29:25Speaker 5: but you could do licenses. The President should definitely look
- 29:29Speaker 5: into the licensing scheme that we've described a prime our
- 29:31Speaker 5: business digest. We call it IASS and this would and
- 29:37Speaker 5: the other great thing about it is you can negotiate
- 29:39Speaker 5: it up and down the license fee. Donald Trump loves
- 29:43Speaker 5: to be able to negotiate things. So okay, if you
- 29:45Speaker 5: give me a bigger deal and give you a lesser
- 29:47Speaker 5: license fee, he can do that with this iasis program.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Huh. All right, now, if Morning Joe is listening, I
- 29:53Speaker 3: hear him yell all morning about here. The President better
- 29:55Speaker 3: not take credit for solving the affordability crisis because people
- 29:58Speaker 3: are still feeling it. What's the truth. I mean, obviously
- 30:01Speaker 3: we have to improve. But he has done a lot
- 30:04Speaker 3: about affordability, hasn't he.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Well, yeah, yeah, look, so absolutely, inflation is way down.
- 30:10Speaker 5: I have a piece that I wrote for Breitbart about
- 30:13Speaker 5: seventy one things that are actually lower in price than
- 30:18Speaker 5: Trump took over. Well, it really just January alone, seventy
- 30:23Speaker 5: one things, I think forty one things that are lower
- 30:25Speaker 5: than they were a year ago. So a lot of
- 30:28Speaker 5: times you can bring down inflation, and inflation is lower
- 30:32Speaker 5: than it was, you know, under the horrible Biden regime
- 30:35Speaker 5: where inflation got up to the highest ride in forty years.
- 30:39Speaker 5: It's still a little too high, but it has come
- 30:41Speaker 5: down and it keeps coming down. But one thing they
- 30:44Speaker 5: said was impossible or that some that prices would go down,
- 30:49Speaker 5: but we're actually seeing a lot of things. The price
- 30:51Speaker 5: of eggs, for instance, is down thirty four percent year
- 30:55Speaker 5: every year. That's incredible.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Wow, well, great stuff. Now Breitbart Business Digest. Everybody should
- 31:01Speaker 3: subscribe to that weather. What's the best way to do that?
- 31:04Speaker 3: Where do you find it?

- 31:20Speaker 5: all this economic news really means. For you and also
- 31:25Speaker 5: give you I think of what's coming next in the economy,
- 31:29Speaker 5: so you're not surprised all the time.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Yeah, and nobody does it better than Johncarney. Go to

- 32:27Speaker 3: Well, Hey, the sun is out at snow is melting
- 32:31Speaker 3: off the streets, the sidewalks. There's supposed to be maybe
- 32:35Speaker 3: some snow overnight tonight, but it's supposedly just an inch,
- 32:38Speaker 3: which is nothing. I know you said an inches. No, hey,
- 32:42Speaker 3: you got twenty inches. One inch more isn't gonna make
- 32:45Speaker 3: any difference. And it's gonna be warm tomorrow and then
- 32:47Speaker 3: it'll get warmer. It'll be in the forties towards the
- 32:50Speaker 3: end of the week, and it'll be in the mid
- 32:52Speaker 3: forties all weekend, so that we'll get rid of the snow. Anyway.
- 32:57Speaker 3: You're gonna have a little rain now, which you want.
- 32:58Speaker 3: There's a snow is melting, you want little rain to
- 33:01Speaker 3: wash it away. So that's good stuff. And don't forget
- 33:05Speaker 3: there's only twenty five days until spring. Twenty five days
- 33:10Speaker 3: until spring's less than a month away. And also you
- 33:13Speaker 3: only got twelve days till daylight saving time. Daylight saving
- 33:17Speaker 3: time begins a week from Sunday, and that means it'll
- 33:20Speaker 3: be light out till like six thirty at night, so
- 33:22Speaker 3: that'll be that'll be great. Hey, we got a lot
- 33:24Speaker 3: to get to in the next hour. Bill O'Reilly will
- 33:27Speaker 3: be with us we'll get to We'll get to that
- 33:30Speaker 3: terrible incident yesterday police officers getting hit with snowballs by
- 33:35Speaker 3: these kids. It was awful, it was ugly. What's the
- 33:38Speaker 3: response going to be, where's the mayor on all of this?
- 33:40Speaker 3: We'll get to that. We'll get to a Gavin Newsom
- 33:42Speaker 3: in trouble for all sorts of racist comments. That and
- 33:45Speaker 3: more coming up right after the news. Mark Simone here
- 33:48Speaker 3: every day ten to noon, or if you can't listen
- 33:52Speaker 3: ten to noon, you can listen any time day or night.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Just get the podcast. Any place you get podcasts, you'll
- 33:57Speaker 3: find this show and you can listen anytime twenty four seven.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Back after the news on seven to ten, wof.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Now more Marks Amone on sevent ten.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Woo, Well, it looks pretty nice outside here in the
- 34:17Speaker 3: middle of Manhattan. It looks like, I mean, there's some
- 34:19Speaker 3: snow left, but I'd say seventy five percent of the
- 34:21Speaker 3: snow is gone. Sidewalks clear as can be, streets clear,
- 34:24Speaker 3: a lot of people out there, traffic, everything out there.
- 34:28Speaker 3: It's getting better. And again it's gonna be a warm weekend.
- 34:31Speaker 3: It'll be in the forties. That'll get rid of all
- 34:33Speaker 3: the snow. Once and for all. So, hey, President Trump, yesterday,
- 34:40Speaker 3: you know they had to kill another assassin shows up
- 34:44Speaker 3: at mar A Lago. Another assassin with a shotgun and
- 34:48Speaker 3: a can of gas. They said, he got through the perimeter.
- 34:51Speaker 3: For what I'm hearing is he got through the gate somehow.
- 34:54Speaker 3: There's two different gates, well actually three, but some of
- 34:57Speaker 3: them got through one of the gates and was on
- 34:59Speaker 3: the grounds. They had to shoot him. But the President yesterday,
- 35:03Speaker 3: you know, he's always, always, always talking to the press,
- 35:05Speaker 3: unlike previous presidents. So they asked him a comment about
- 35:09Speaker 3: this mar A Lago assassin that showed up, and he said, quote,
- 35:13Speaker 3: I got a lot of people gunning for me. That's
- 35:17Speaker 3: a pretty good response. He said, you read about all
- 35:19Speaker 3: these crazy shooters, but they only go after consequential presidents.
- 35:25Speaker 3: They don't go after non consequential presidents. So maybe I
- 35:28Speaker 3: want to be a little less consequential. The audience laughed
- 35:31Speaker 3: a little. I know, is that true? They only go
- 35:33Speaker 3: o well, yeah, they went after Kennedy. Well, there were
- 35:39Speaker 3: two assassination attempts on Gerald Ford. I wouldn't call him
- 35:41Speaker 3: the most consequential president, but they do tend to go
- 35:45Speaker 3: after the biggest greatest names, you know, Kennedy, Martin, Luther, King,
- 35:49Speaker 3: Bobby Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln. But I don't think Ford had
- 35:55Speaker 3: two assassination attempts. I don't. I mean where they actually
- 35:58Speaker 3: had to shoot the person they're going to the person.
- 36:00Speaker 3: I don't think. Yeah, I don't think anybody's made three.
- 36:04Speaker 3: That's pretty good. I think Trump now holds the all
- 36:06Speaker 3: time record these assassins. This guy was young, he was twenty.
- 36:09Speaker 3: The shooter in Butler, Pennsylvania. Young, they're often very young.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Lee Harvey Oswold was a pretty young guy. You got
- 36:16Speaker 3: to be young and crazy to do something like that.
- 36:19Speaker 3: President Trump got Mexico yesterday to handover one hundred cartel leaders,
- 36:26Speaker 3: drug cartel leaders, you know, a bunch of Salomonco's, like
- 36:29Speaker 3: if you watch Breaking Bad. They were in Mexico that
- 36:32Speaker 3: have been held there. But the President wants them returned
- 36:35Speaker 3: to the United States. He wants to try them here
- 36:38Speaker 3: for crimes against America. He calls this whole cartel group
- 36:42Speaker 3: a foreign terrorist organization. I don't know how he did it,
- 36:46Speaker 3: but he got Mexico to very quietly ship one hundred
- 36:48Speaker 3: of them back to the United States where they will
- 36:51Speaker 3: face justice. Here one hundred cartel members now expect Democrats
- 36:58Speaker 3: right now, they're trying to figure out if the cartel
- 37:00Speaker 3: has an actual flag. Expect him to start using that
- 37:03Speaker 3: flag on their Facebook profile, on Twitter, expect him to
- 37:08Speaker 3: start wearing lapel pins with the flag of the drug car. Tells, Hey,
- 37:12Speaker 3: Gavin Newsom getting a lot of flak now he appears
- 37:17Speaker 3: and has appeared for months to be the leading candidate
- 37:20Speaker 3: for twenty twenty eight. He's the guy way out in
- 37:23Speaker 3: front as the top candidate for twenty twenty eight. And
- 37:26Speaker 3: as I always remind you, historically, whoever's out in front
- 37:30Speaker 3: at this point never gets the nomination. If you go
- 37:33Speaker 3: back through history, whoever is out in front three years early,
- 37:37Speaker 3: three years before the election, two years before the election,
- 37:41Speaker 3: it's always somebody like this. Always like a good looking,
- 37:44Speaker 3: pretty boy, good on TV kind of guy who becomes
- 37:47Speaker 3: the front runner and then never gets it. John Edwards
- 37:50Speaker 3: comes to mind, Gary Hart. There's a whole bunch of them,
- 37:55Speaker 3: but they never get the nomination. So a lot of
- 37:58Speaker 3: people think a Newsom wiped himself out out. You know,
- 38:01Speaker 3: AOC was also talked about for twenty twenty eight. A
- 38:03Speaker 3: lot of people think with her ridiculously stupid answer on Taiwan,
- 38:08Speaker 3: making it clear she's an absolute babbling idiot on foreign policy.
- 38:12Speaker 3: They think that's the end of her presidential chances. And
- 38:14Speaker 3: they think Newsom did that this week when he just
- 38:19Speaker 3: put down black voters minorities. He's talking about, you know,
- 38:25Speaker 3: Democrats have a history of this. Democrats, we'll say the
- 38:29Speaker 3: most racist things. And I don't know, why do you
- 38:33Speaker 3: think that is exactly? Are they racist or are they
- 38:36Speaker 3: just they're pandering so much that they don't even realize
- 38:40Speaker 3: what the hell they're saying. They're so busy pandering, and
- 38:45Speaker 3: just the whole idea whether the minority voters they cannot
- 38:49Speaker 3: they can't get id, they wouldn't know how to get
- 38:50Speaker 3: a driver's license, they won't know how to get a photoid.
- 38:52Speaker 3: It's the most racist thing you could say. But listen
- 38:56Speaker 3: to Kathy Holkl, the governor. I mean, who could say
- 38:58Speaker 3: anything this stupid?
- 38:59Speaker 6: Young kids growing up in the Bronx who don't even
- 39:01Speaker 6: know what the word a computer is.
- 39:04Speaker 1: They don't know, they don't know these things.
- 39:07Speaker 3: And she's serious about this. They say these things here.
- 39:12Speaker 3: So Newsom is trying to pander to black voters. And
- 39:16Speaker 3: he said you know, I'm just like you. And first
- 39:19Speaker 3: of all, he's not just like anybody. I don't know
- 39:21Speaker 3: anybody like Gavin Newsom. He was born a wealthy kid,
- 39:25Speaker 3: wealthy family and privilege. Kidding, he's a wealthy guy. Now
- 39:30Speaker 3: you always see him in this restaurant, that restaurant only
- 39:33Speaker 3: ordering an eight thousand dollars bottle of wine. He's not
- 39:36Speaker 3: just like anybody, but he it's so insulting. I'm just
- 39:40Speaker 3: like you. In fact, I got an SAT score in
- 39:43Speaker 3: nine sixty, which is is that low? I guess that's
- 39:46Speaker 3: considered very, very low. I probably got an eight hundred.
- 39:49Speaker 3: I was the worst student in the world. So he's
- 39:52Speaker 3: assuming if you're a minority voter, you must really be
- 39:55Speaker 3: dumb and get a low SAT score. But it's the
- 39:57Speaker 3: dumbest thing he could have said.
- 39:59Speaker 17: I'm not you know, I'm not trying to impress you.
- 40:02Speaker 17: I'm just trying to impress upon you. I'm like you.
- 40:06Speaker 17: I'm no better than you. You know, I'm a nine
- 40:10Speaker 17: to sixty SAT guy, and you know, and I'm not
- 40:15Speaker 17: trying to offend anyone, you know, trying to act all
- 40:17Speaker 17: there if you got nine forty, but literally a nine
- 40:23Speaker 17: sixty SAT guy, I cannot you you've never seen me
- 40:27Speaker 17: read a speech.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Yeah, well they cut the clip. I don't know why
- 40:31Speaker 3: they cut the clip. He goes on to say, I
- 40:33Speaker 3: never read a speech because I can't read. He's just pandering.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Now there's a clip to him from about maybe it's
- 40:42Speaker 3: a year ago. I had this clip where he was
- 40:44Speaker 3: talking about some book. He said, it's a three hundred
- 40:46Speaker 3: page book. I read it in one night. It's the
- 40:47Speaker 3: most riveting book. He's going, who could read a three
- 40:50Speaker 3: hundred page book in one night? But obviously he reads.
- 40:53Speaker 3: So he's just lying and pandering. But he thinks that's
- 40:56Speaker 3: how you talk to a black audience. Oh I'm dumb.
- 40:58Speaker 3: I have a nine sixty sat or you talk like holding.
- 41:02Speaker 5: Young black kids growing up in the Bronx who don't
- 41:04Speaker 5: even know what the word a computer is.
- 41:07Speaker 1: They don't know, they don't know these.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Things, the dumbest, racist, most awful nonsense. Now Newsom is
- 41:12Speaker 3: in a lot of trouble for this. Now, coming up
- 41:14Speaker 3: this weekend, there's a big conference, big Democratic conference in
- 41:19Speaker 3: South Carolina. That's Clyburn's territory, but it's in South Carolina.
- 41:23Speaker 3: It's a big deal. This Democratic gathering in fact, such
- 41:26Speaker 3: a big deal. They're going to Joe Biden is going
- 41:28Speaker 3: to come in and make a speech. Joe Biden is
- 41:31Speaker 3: going to make a speech to say, you saw how
- 41:33Speaker 3: bad he was when he was in office, Watch him
- 41:35Speaker 3: now that he's rusty, watch him now that he hasn't
- 41:38Speaker 3: done a speech in six months. You're going to hear
- 41:40Speaker 3: a lot of as he tries to make this speech.
- 41:45Speaker 3: But Kamala Harris will be there. So what do you
- 41:49Speaker 3: do about Newsom with this racist crap that he's spewing out.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I don't know what's Clyburn going to do, what's Kamala
- 41:55Speaker 3: going to do, what's Joe Biden going to do? I
- 41:57Speaker 3: would assume that they've had an enough of this guy.
- 42:00Speaker 3: They're not too thrilled with this guy, so you might
- 42:03Speaker 3: see them take shots at them, just once and for all,
- 42:07Speaker 3: get rid of Hey. You know, the Trump organization is
- 42:12Speaker 3: run by Eric Trump, who's a brilliant, brilliant guy. He
- 42:16Speaker 3: very quietly. You know, he's not a big showboat kind
- 42:19Speaker 3: of a guy. He's a quiet sort of guy. Businessman
- 42:21Speaker 3: wrote a great book, by the way, you should read.
- 42:23Speaker 3: But the Trump organization doing major deals all over the world,
- 42:27Speaker 3: they're building. I think it's Dubai and incredible hotel. But
- 42:31Speaker 3: they announced yesterday building a hotel. Oh actually it's a
- 42:34Speaker 3: Trump Tower, hotel, offices, the whole deal Australia. But it'll
- 42:38Speaker 3: be the tallest skyscraper ever in Australia. Big, big project.
- 42:43Speaker 3: Eric doing an incredible job running that company. Hey, this incident.
- 42:48Speaker 3: If you go to my Twitter, you can see the video.
- 42:52Speaker 3: This was horrible, just horrible yesterday. Obviously it was, you know,
- 42:58Speaker 3: the height of the blizzard, snow everywhere, unbelievable amount of snow,
- 43:02Speaker 3: and these guys in the it looks like it's in
- 43:05Speaker 3: the park somewhere. There's the Washington Square Parker somewhere, but
- 43:07Speaker 3: they police, a lot of police are walking through and
- 43:11Speaker 3: these these guys make snowballs and hit the cops with them,
- 43:15Speaker 3: I mean big, you know, and these were hard. This
- 43:17Speaker 3: was wet snow yesterday. You can make some serious snowballs,
- 43:20Speaker 3: but hitting cops in the head, in the face, it
- 43:23Speaker 3: was just awful. This is the audio. I think, Yeah,
- 43:44Speaker 3: it's one thing to boo the cops, which is pretty
- 43:46Speaker 3: ugly in itself, pretty disgusting, but throwing these snowballs hit
- 43:50Speaker 3: I mean hitting them hard in the face. So and
- 43:52Speaker 3: again the good news it's Manhattan, which means you've got
- 43:55Speaker 3: surveillance video everywhere. So Police Commissioner Jessica to just put
- 44:00Speaker 3: out a statement condemning this and saying just to do
- 44:03Speaker 3: that is criminal. You've actually committed a crime and we
- 44:07Speaker 3: will find you. So they're looking for I got to
- 44:10Speaker 3: give these police officers credit. They stayed cool. They could
- 44:13Speaker 3: have responded, they just kept walking. They were getting hit
- 44:18Speaker 3: with a lot of snowballs in the head, in the face.
- 44:20Speaker 3: They kept walking, They got into their car. They left
- 44:23Speaker 3: very cool under fire. But the police commissioner said they
- 44:26Speaker 3: will now detectives will now hunt down these guys, find them.
- 44:29Speaker 3: The bad news is it's the middle of a blizzard,
- 44:31Speaker 3: so many of them are covered up with hood on
- 44:34Speaker 3: and scarfs and all that. But hopefully he'll be able
- 44:37Speaker 3: to identify them and prosecute them. Now, the bad news
- 44:40Speaker 3: is where you're going to prosecute them in New York
- 44:43Speaker 3: with Alvin Bragg Snowball, He's gonna let everybody go. The
- 44:49Speaker 3: good news is you got if we ever get in
- 44:51Speaker 3: a real trouble with this Alvin Bragg letting every criminal news,
- 44:54Speaker 3: you've got a great US attorney, Jay Clayton, who is
- 44:58Speaker 3: the US Attorney for the Southern District that's New York
- 45:00Speaker 3: City and Manhattan, and he has said he will step
- 45:04Speaker 3: in and take over, you know, federal charges, go after
- 45:08Speaker 3: these guys and charge them federally. So that would be
- 45:10Speaker 3: a great thing, one of the greatest things I ever saw.
- 45:14Speaker 3: I knew a guy he's no longer with us. Brad
- 45:16Speaker 3: Corbett was a great businessman, and he owned the Texas Rangers,
- 45:21Speaker 3: and he was a big Texan and he although he
- 45:24Speaker 3: spent a lot of his time here, lived here a
- 45:26Speaker 3: lot of the time. Anyway, I was with him, and
- 45:29Speaker 3: Nolan Ryan was with us, the great pitcher at the time,
- 45:32Speaker 3: maybe the greatest pitcher in baseball at one time. And heyway,
- 45:35Speaker 3: we're at this restaurant in little Italy and it was
- 45:37Speaker 3: just like this, in the middle of a big snowstorm.
- 45:41Speaker 3: And we came out of the restaurant and across the
- 45:44Speaker 3: street it's little Lialy. There's I'm like tough kids across
- 45:46Speaker 3: the street making snowballs and throwing them at us. Now,
- 45:52Speaker 3: who would recognize Nolan Ryan and civilian clothes, you know,
- 45:55Speaker 3: and bundled up, but Brad turned to him and said,
- 45:58Speaker 3: go ahead, get him. Nolan Ryan, the greatest pitcher in baseball,
- 46:03Speaker 3: reaches down, makes a snowball, throws it one hundred miles
- 46:07Speaker 3: an hour, hits the kid right between the eyes, reaches down,
- 46:11Speaker 3: gets another snowball one hundred miles an hour right between
- 46:13Speaker 3: the eyes of the other kid. Is the most incredible
- 46:15Speaker 3: pitching I have ever seen. Now, of course they just
- 46:18Speaker 3: turned and ran real fast, but it was amazing to watch. Hey,
- 46:24Speaker 3: the Epstein stuff. More and more people getting taken down
- 46:29Speaker 3: with these Epstein files. Not Donald Trump, He's got nothing.
- 46:32Speaker 3: The only thing you find with him in the Epstein
- 46:35Speaker 3: files is how much Epstein hated them. And there's a
- 46:38Speaker 3: lot of stuff in there. But you know, they'll tell
- 46:39Speaker 3: you Trump is in there thirty eight thousand times. Yeah, well,
- 46:43Speaker 3: thirty seven thousand, nine hundred of the times it's Epstein
- 46:46Speaker 3: badmouthing Trump, meeting with his enemies like Michael Wolf, the
- 46:51Speaker 3: horrible little weasly little guy, plotting against Trump, plotting to
- 46:56Speaker 3: go after him. Even when it's Bannon and Epstein plot
- 47:00Speaker 3: against Trump, talk about bad he is. But yesterday, you know,
- 47:04Speaker 3: Prince Andrew of course got arrested. But yesterday they arrested
- 47:07Speaker 3: a major figure in England. He was the former UK
- 47:10Speaker 3: ambassador to the United States. That's a big position in
- 47:14Speaker 3: England when you're the United Kingdom's ambassador to the US. Well,
- 47:17Speaker 3: he was arrested yesterday on suspicion that he was also involved,
- 47:22Speaker 3: like Prince Andrew, with giving Epstein classified documents. He's seventy
- 47:28Speaker 3: two years old. They came and arrested him. He's now
- 47:32Speaker 3: going to be facing some very very serious charges. And
- 47:37Speaker 3: Epstein was very good. Guys like Epstein who are weasily
- 47:39Speaker 3: slimy with a ton of money, with millions millions, they
- 47:44Speaker 3: have what's known as check's appeal. You know, everybody loves them.
- 47:47Speaker 3: The colleges love him because they write huge checks. The
- 47:49Speaker 3: charities love him, they write huge checks. A lot of
- 47:53Speaker 3: celebrities will hang around because a guy like that will
- 47:56Speaker 3: pay for everything. You'll lend you his playing and you'll
- 47:58Speaker 3: give you an apartment. I want to make a movie,
- 48:01Speaker 3: a TV show, a project, He'll finance it. And when
- 48:05Speaker 3: it comes to politicians, as who used to say, they're
- 48:09Speaker 3: like taxicabs, you can hire them. When it comes to politicians,
- 48:13Speaker 3: many of them like money, and the UK ambassador, Prince
- 48:18Speaker 3: Andrew whatever. If you read through the files, Prince Andrew
- 48:21Speaker 3: is always getting everything from Epstein. I need an apartment
- 48:24Speaker 3: for a week. I need to use your apartment in Paris.
- 48:26Speaker 3: Can I have your current driver? Can I use your plane?
- 48:29Speaker 3: And this UK ambassador now in big, big trouble because
- 48:34Speaker 3: of the Epstein stuff. Hey, yesterday President Trump, it was
- 48:39Speaker 3: a very touching thing at the White House. He invited
- 48:41Speaker 3: angel families, people who have had their loved ones killed murdered,
- 48:47Speaker 3: Angel Family Day ceremony, and the President made quite a
- 48:50Speaker 3: touching speech. Well, a lot of people are a little myth.
- 48:54Speaker 3: They can't believe that CNN and ms NOW or MSNBC
- 48:58Speaker 3: or whatever the hell it is, refuse to cover it.
- 49:00Speaker 3: It's a very big thing. You know, it's in the
- 49:02Speaker 3: middle of the day. It's not like you're interrupting your
- 49:05Speaker 3: primetime shows. It's the middle of the day usually any
- 49:07Speaker 3: if this were Biden, of course, they would would have
- 49:10Speaker 3: covered it. They would have rerun it eighteen times. But
- 49:13Speaker 3: because it was President Trump and they say it was
- 49:15Speaker 3: a tear jerking event, they didn't cover it. They refused
- 49:20Speaker 3: to cover it. Hey, well, take some calls. Next eight
- 49:23Speaker 3: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number
- 49:27Speaker 3: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Set up preseat on the iHeart Radio app to douboar
- 49:34Speaker 2: to hear Mark live. Set another for Mark's podcast to
- 49:38Speaker 2: hear him anytime.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Now back to Mark Zimone on do woor Hey.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Let's take some calls. Let's go to uh Norma in Connecticut? Norma?
- 49:49Speaker 3: How you doing?
- 49:51Speaker 14: I'm doing great?
- 49:52Speaker 18: How are you?
- 49:52Speaker 3: Let me check? I not bad? Not bad? See, nobody
- 49:56Speaker 3: actually cares. They just say how are you? It's just agreed.
- 49:58Speaker 3: They don't really care.
- 49:59Speaker 7: How you do?
- 50:00Speaker 16: I know?
- 50:00Speaker 14: If you're heard o AC The C stands for Crampton.
- 50:04Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they like to drink in Connecticut's a little early.
- 50:12Speaker 5: I thought that was funny.
- 50:13Speaker 3: Wow. First, first, let's go over this. Who are you
- 50:16Speaker 3: actually talking about?
- 50:19Speaker 14: Crampton? Ralph Cramdon? Yeah, you know, and he says ahm
- 50:23Speaker 14: mahama when he doesn't when he's in trouble and he
- 50:25Speaker 14: doesn't know what to say.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:28Speaker 14: Well, in my husband Joe, he thought it would be
- 50:30Speaker 14: great to call it in.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Oh god, where are you in Connecticut?
- 50:34Speaker 13: Pair field?
- 50:35Speaker 3: And you have a lot of snow there?
- 50:38Speaker 14: We have a lot, Yes, we have about maybe eighteen inches.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Whoa, that's a lot. I like Fairfield. You have a
- 50:45Speaker 3: dairy queen here.
- 50:46Speaker 5: I love.
- 50:47Speaker 3: You've got great places. You got Sinclair, You've got all
- 50:49Speaker 3: these great res youve got Sophie's Pizza. You got all
- 50:52Speaker 3: these great places there.
- 50:54Speaker 5: Uh huh.
- 50:55Speaker 3: I can see you're not too excited. I should have
- 50:56Speaker 3: named bars.
- 50:57Speaker 14: No, no, no, I'm a little flussier about my See.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Well you got ash that new restaurant, you know that one,
- 51:03Speaker 3: that Mediterranean restaurant.
- 51:06Speaker 16: Uh huh huh.
- 51:07Speaker 3: All right, thanks for going. See a lot of the
- 51:10Speaker 3: people in Connecticut that's old. They just drink. It's not
- 51:12Speaker 3: about food. Let's go to Blauvelt in Florida. Blauvelt, how
- 51:16Speaker 3: you doing?
- 51:17Speaker 9: Watch them all?
- 51:18Speaker 5: Good morning?
- 51:18Speaker 9: Say how are you?
- 51:19Speaker 3: I'm good?
- 51:21Speaker 9: Hey, that story you had me laugh so hard that
- 51:24Speaker 9: no one right on snow Bolt. That's fantastic. Hey, one
- 51:30Speaker 9: point I might could make it. You're a real shigning
- 51:34Speaker 9: star of this administration.
- 51:35Speaker 5: I hear this.
- 51:36Speaker 9: Marco Rubio, were you on the moon?
- 51:38Speaker 3: You sound like one small stuff.
- 51:40Speaker 9: For man, I'm driving into jeep and going up to
- 51:44Speaker 9: Tampa Bay.
- 51:45Speaker 3: You're driving in a what jep? A jeep? Well, you
- 51:52Speaker 3: might want to go see the dealer and say the
- 51:54Speaker 3: phone doesn't sound too good in this thing, but go ahead.
- 51:58Speaker 5: Oh you know it's it's a nice car. About that.
- 52:00Speaker 9: Martin o'robio is just a no sighting star the administration.
- 52:05Speaker 9: I feel brilliant, just a number one guy.
- 52:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a very good point. Now, Rubio, you know
- 52:11Speaker 3: everybody says jd Vance is the front runner. J d
- 52:14Speaker 3: Vance of course is the vice president. But man, jd
- 52:18Speaker 3: Vance is a great guy, but he seems like a
- 52:19Speaker 3: junior Trump, like a guy trying to be Trump, whereas
- 52:22Speaker 3: Rubio not bothering with that kind of stuff and instead
- 52:25Speaker 3: looks like a much more adult sort of a guy.
- 52:28Speaker 3: He's been brilliant as Secretary of State, brilliant with foreign policy,
- 52:32Speaker 3: very thoughtful reason so some people think he's going to
- 52:35Speaker 3: have the edge at some point. Let's go to Jane
- 52:38Speaker 3: in New Jersey. Jane, how you doing?
- 52:40Speaker 5: Hi?
- 52:41Speaker 18: Mark, I just wanted to make a comment about the
- 52:44Speaker 18: Gavin Newsom interview in Atlanta. I don't think he was
- 52:48Speaker 18: talking down to them. I think he was imitating Obama.
- 52:51Speaker 18: Did you see the way he was sitting and the
- 52:54Speaker 18: hand gestures and the cadence in his voice. Look at
- 52:58Speaker 18: it again, and he was trying to sound like Obama.
- 53:03Speaker 3: Well, but Obama's a lot brighter. Would have worded that
- 53:06Speaker 3: much better. But you're you ever see the way he sits, Gavin, Well,
- 53:10Speaker 3: the way he crosses his legs, the way he's saying
- 53:11Speaker 3: it's the weirdest body language I've ever seen. All Right, Jane,
- 53:15Speaker 3: thanks for calling. Let's go to Bob Montvale, New Jersey. Bob,
- 53:18Speaker 3: how you doing.
- 53:20Speaker 19: I'm doing well, Mark, thanks for taking my call. But
- 53:23Speaker 19: maybe I just comment on the same thought there. It's
- 53:26Speaker 19: you know, Gavin Newsom and AOC, they prove that they're
- 53:29Speaker 19: not like totally intelligent. But I'd be more concerned with
- 53:33Speaker 19: the people like yacking it up and going along with
- 53:36Speaker 19: these people. You know, AOC got applause, Gavin Newsom gets
- 53:41Speaker 19: like laughter and like, you.
- 53:42Speaker 5: Know, like ha has Those are the people I'd be
- 53:46Speaker 5: worried about.
- 53:47Speaker 3: Yeah, but I remember he's talking to probably a democratic audience.
- 53:50Speaker 3: If people have come to hear him, it's obviously fans
- 53:52Speaker 3: are his, so you can't go by them. And obviously
- 53:57Speaker 3: you could say something in front of a bunch of
- 53:59Speaker 3: Democrats they are applaud But then the video gets out
- 54:02Speaker 3: and the rest of the world's horrified by by what
- 54:04Speaker 3: you said. Let's go to Tom and Queen's Tom.
- 54:06Speaker 10: How you doing, Hey, Mark, good morning. The follow up
- 54:11Speaker 10: to uh you there, No I left? Oh yeah, I
- 54:14Speaker 10: stepped out. Oh no, sorry, okay, I thought to get
- 54:16Speaker 10: this kind of Listen to the snowball story. The follow up.
- 54:19Speaker 10: It's a follow up to these kids that are gathered
- 54:21Speaker 10: around a hundreds and are going to the malls and
- 54:24Speaker 10: trying to take over the malls. They get they get caught,
- 54:27Speaker 10: and nothing happens. So it just sounds like the same
- 54:30Speaker 10: thing all over again.
- 54:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it depends what mall. I mean. There's some malls
- 54:33Speaker 3: that are fine.
- 54:35Speaker 10: Yeah, but one hundred kids, yeah, yeah, that's a lot.
- 54:39Speaker 3: Yeah. No, you're right. That's the problem with the mom
- 54:41Speaker 3: Donny world. The police are afraid they're do anything. Normally,
- 54:43Speaker 3: you see a hundred kids looking like they're up to
- 54:46Speaker 3: no good in a park, you get them to disperse,
- 54:49Speaker 3: you chase them away. But everybody's afraid to do everything
- 54:52Speaker 3: in mom Donny World, and that those cops getting hit
- 54:55Speaker 3: in the face with snowballs from these guys. The mayor
- 54:58Speaker 3: should have been the mayor should have been all over
- 55:00Speaker 3: television talking about that. But he's not really a mayor.
- 55:03Speaker 3: We don't know what he is yet. But hey, when
- 55:05Speaker 3: we come back, Bill O'Reilly will be with us next.
- 55:08Speaker 3: Lots to talk to him about in just a moment
- 55:10Speaker 3: on seven to ten, wo r.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Mark Simr.
- 55:18Speaker 3: Well Bill O'Reilly for decades, the number one TV anchor,
- 55:22Speaker 3: the number one best selling author on Earth, nonfiction author
- 55:25Speaker 3: on Earth. In fact, you should get his latest book,
- 55:27Speaker 3: Confronting Evil, powerful book, and you can see his TV show.
- 55:31Speaker 3: Get the column. Everything's at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill
- 55:35Speaker 3: O'Reilly dot com. Oh, and make sure you watch the
- 55:37Speaker 3: YouTube channel. He's got great stuff there. Bill O'Reilly on YouTube.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Bill O'Reilly, how you doing.
- 55:44Speaker 7: I'm in tot mkay you Ben, I'm good.
- 55:46Speaker 3: So State of the Union tonight? What does the President
- 55:49Speaker 3: need to do?
- 55:51Speaker 7: Guy? Present a positive picture of the country. So mister
- 55:58Speaker 7: Trump often dwells on the name negative. Obviously, he's got
- 56:01Speaker 7: a Supreme Court decision he doesn't like. We kind of
- 56:07Speaker 7: overlooked that other than to say we believe that this
- 56:11Speaker 7: is strong for the country, these tariffs, and now we're
- 56:15Speaker 7: gonna change a little bit, but we still have this
- 56:18Speaker 7: amount of money coming in and you know, overwhelm the
- 56:22Speaker 7: audience with facts, but keep it essentially positive. That's what
- 56:27Speaker 7: he has to do.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Yeah. Hey, Democrats have a new tradition of embarrassing themselves
- 56:32Speaker 3: as State of the Unions with booing and stuff like that.
- 56:35Speaker 3: Now there's a rumor they're going to walk out tonight.
- 56:38Speaker 3: What do you think the Democrats will do?
- 56:40Speaker 7: I don't think so, because the leadership doesn't want that.
- 56:45Speaker 7: So the real far far left Democrats aren't even showing
- 56:50Speaker 7: up at all. They're having their own State of the
- 56:53Speaker 7: Union on the mall which no one all attend except
- 56:57Speaker 7: the bust and people who are paid. And here's an
- 57:01Speaker 7: interesting aside for w or listeners. The people who are
- 57:05Speaker 7: not attending, and you can get their names on the internet.
- 57:08Speaker 7: The House members, the senators aren't doing this, but they
- 57:15Speaker 7: are all beholden to far left money, which means they
- 57:20Speaker 7: run every two years and their campaigns are financed by
- 57:25Speaker 7: the sources of the world. The real radical fringe elements
- 57:30Speaker 7: pump tens of millions of dollars into these campaigns. If
- 57:35Speaker 7: these people don't do what they're radical masters tell them
- 57:39Speaker 7: to do, they get cut off from the money. Most
- 57:43Speaker 7: people don't know that that it's a money game. So
- 57:48Speaker 7: the ones that aren't going to be there, and those
- 57:50Speaker 7: are the ones that would walk out or scream and yell,
- 57:54Speaker 7: they'll be in another separate thing, which of course will
- 57:57Speaker 7: have no impact at all.
- 58:00Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 58:00Speaker 3: So aren't they kind of helping the president by getting
- 58:02Speaker 3: all the Adam Shift angry nutjobs out of the out
- 58:06Speaker 3: of the audience of the speech that it'll help the press?
- 58:09Speaker 7: Yeah, it does, And why would Trump want him there?
- 58:16Speaker 7: You know, whatever Trump does, Shift and his ilk are
- 58:20Speaker 7: going to condemn it, says it bothers me. About ideologues
- 58:25Speaker 7: and far left is obviously the problem in the country
- 58:29Speaker 7: right now. Far right doesn't have any organization, no cohesiveness.
- 58:33Speaker 7: There are a bunch of people running around, but they
- 58:35Speaker 7: don't have any organization that, for example, can get into
- 58:41Speaker 7: the media with propaganda, whereas a far left has all that.
- 58:45Speaker 7: So but if you're an ideologue, no matter what the
- 58:50Speaker 7: other side does, you're gonna condemn it. And that's not healthy.
- 58:54Speaker 7: It's not healthy for you, and it's not healthy for
- 58:56Speaker 7: the country.
- 58:59Speaker 3: Yeah. Hey, the Olympic hockey players there tonight. That'll be
- 59:03Speaker 3: a big thing, won't it.
- 59:05Speaker 7: It will be in the story about the women's hockey
- 59:08Speaker 7: team is really not being reported accurately. Now, I did
- 59:11Speaker 7: it yesterday when the announcement came out from the women's
- 59:16Speaker 7: hockey team that they would not be attending the State
- 59:19Speaker 7: of the Union despite being invited. Now, it wasn't a
- 59:22Speaker 7: belligerent press release. They said, oh, thank you, and we
- 59:27Speaker 7: feel honored that we're invited, but we're not showing up.
- 59:30Speaker 7: There's no reason for them not to show up. It's
- 59:34Speaker 7: not like they have another event they don't. Now, there
- 59:37Speaker 7: are particular women that are playing in professional games, but
- 59:41Speaker 7: the men's side has that too. So the fair way
- 59:46Speaker 7: and patriotic way to do it would be for the
- 59:50Speaker 7: leadership of the women's team to say, ladies, if you
- 59:53Speaker 7: want to go, go, if you can fit it into
- 59:56Speaker 7: your schedule, go on up. That's what the men team did.
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: But there's a difference in culture. The women's sports in
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: America are very infiltrated with the left. We saw that
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: with the crazy women's soccer team, remember that Rapino and
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: all those people. Yeah, well that persists, whereas that's not
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: on the men's side. So the men hockey team is
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: not the NBA, and it's a very interesting story because
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: you're not getting why the women are doing what they're doing.
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: There is a political I believe there is a political
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: component to it.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: Interesting. Hey Bill O'Reilly Gavin Newsom, how badly did he
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: damage himself this week?
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: Not at all?
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: Really, and it's another example of ideology gone out of control.
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: But Newsom said it was totally innocent, and I wrote
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: a message of the day it's O'Reilly dot com. And
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: all he was trying to do is saying, I'm a
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: regular guy. I had my problems in school. I'm not
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: some elite guy. That's all he was trying to say.
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: And anybody who read the interview, which I did, knows that.
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: But of course the opposition to Newsom wants to demon
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: I him and now call him a racist, which is absurd.
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: There's enough stuff to get Newsome on legitimate stuff without
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: doing this kind of stuff. And usually this happens liberals
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: do it against conservatives. It's very very rare that the converse.
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: And when I saw that yesterday, I went, come on.
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: Everybody knows what he was trying to say. There was
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: no malice in his remarks, and it's my job to
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: report honestly.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: So I am I disagree slightly. The first of all,
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: that whole thing. I'm not an elite guy. He's an
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: elite guy, very elitist sort of a guy, Okay.
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: And that's that's legitimate. He's trying to pass himself off
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: as one of the folks when he's not one of
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: the folks. No problem with that. But you don't think
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: that Gavin Newsom's are racist, do you?
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: I don't think these are racist. I think Democrats get
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: into this pandering kind of talk and they don't realize
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: what the hell they're saying. Half the time. It comes
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: out awkwardly when they say it. It doesn't sound great
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: when they say it.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: But that's that's just that may be true. But I've
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: been accused when I made some remarks over my career
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: of being a racist and I and I'm going, it's ridiculous.
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: So I don't like that label and I don't like
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: when anybody uses it unless you had the facts to
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: back it up. And clearly Newsome was not trying to
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: denigrate black people.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, but he is. I was talking with
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: this before. If you're the historian, every president's elections is
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: always some pretty boy who comes way out in front
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: two years out of Gary Hart or of John Edwards.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: But that one always fizzles. They never end up being
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: the nominee. You think that'll happen with Nwsom.
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: Newsom's up against a very weak field. No establishment person
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: is polling well. I mean, you got Kloba har she'll run.
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: She's running for governor of Minnesota. She'll win, and then
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: she'll run for president. You got Brashier in Kentucky, Shapiro
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: in Pennsylvania. These are not strong candidates. People don't know
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: who they are. Yeah, so everybody knows Newsom. He's got
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: name recognition. But he has absolutely destroyed the state of California.
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: So anybody with an IQ over fifty would go if
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: he destroyed the state of California, need destroyed the United States.
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: And the answer is yeah, he would. That's not a
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: tough one. So but he you don't count him out.
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: I spent some time with him a few weeks ago
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: at Super Bowl weekend in San Francisco. He's a very
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: slick guy, he's a good campaigner. He's gonna have a
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: lot of money, So I wouldn't count him out.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Okay, but you know how to read people when you
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: were with him, did you think to yourself, this is
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: a very sincere guy i'm talking to.
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: Okay, that's an interesting question, Simone. Simone's giving me a
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: workout today.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: All right, you don't have to answer.
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: No, No, I am going to answer, because I never
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: dodge questions. Two tracks. He was sincere in basically having
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: a conversation with me about the state of San Francisco. Okay,
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: because I was out there and I'm gonna do it
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: special on News Nation about the collapse of the city.
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: He lives outside the city. He does not live in
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: San Francisco. I did not know that. He keeps that
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: very quiet in the conversation. He didn't dodge. It was
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: a good conversation. The insincerity might have occurred because he
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: needs me and he knows it. So I have a
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: very strong national voice. He doesn't want me to condemn him,
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: So there was that kind of manipulative thing. But I
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: enjoyed the conversation with him. He invited me on his
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: podcast and I accept it, and that'll be on in
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: the fall, and if he carries through, that will be an.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: Event that'll be interesting. Well, everybody watched Bill O'Reilly. You

- 1:07:09Speaker 3: If you watch all the crazy left wing channels, they're
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: going through that doll. He better not go off script.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: You know the President goes off script. He might say something, well,
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: he's already done five State of the Union speech. He's
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: never gone off script once. Expect it to go long,
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: though sometimes he goes. He said, why does he go
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: so long with that speech? The reason is it pushes
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: the Democratic response speech into the eleven o'clock hour, meaning
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: most people won't watch it. Then that's the reason. But
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: it's tonight. We'll talk about it on the show tomorrow.
