Transnet opens rail lines to 11 operators
South Africa's state rail firm Transnet SOC Ltd. today granted 11 private companies concessions to operate trains on its freight network. This is an effort to put forward necessary reforms that are expected to improve logistical bottlenecks that have constrained economic growth.
