☎️ Are You Overlooking Gold's Price Explosion? (The SHOCKING Facts)☎️ · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
The gold price is hitting all time highs.
0:05
Are you wondering just how high can this actually go?
0:09
And what about silver? We're going to talk about some
0:12
astounding predictions in this video for the Gold price, 5000
0:17
dollars, $27,000. One person even mentioning gold
0:23
prices as high as $60,000 per oz.
0:27
But what does that mean for silver?
0:29
And let's get started by referencing a great article from
0:34
Kitco talking about just what happened on Friday.
0:37
New all time highs for gold. But even more important than
0:41
that, I want to say thank you for being here.
0:44
Hey, listen, your thoughts matter.
0:46
It's a big deal. You're here.
0:48
If you subscribe to the channel, which I hope you do, you'll get
0:51
new content every single day. But more importantly, you can
0:54
participate in the comments section of this live stream
0:58
where you can share your thoughts.
1:01
Your thoughts matter. I read all the comments.
1:03
As a matter of fact, we're going to talk about one of the
1:05
comments later in this video. But let's go out to Kitco and
1:09
let's start by talking about $5000 gold.
1:14
Here's the headline from yesterday.
1:18
And let me move my microphone closer now.
1:21
Hopefully you can hear me a little better.
1:23
Gold bugs crow as the yellow metal breaks through $2500 per
1:28
oz to set fresh all time highs. What's next, $5000 gold?
1:35
And we're going to hear about that in this article.
1:38
But guys, here's the details. Gold prices hit new all time
1:44
highs and both spot and futures markets on Friday after a weaker
1:48
than expected U.S. housing data stoked worries that the downside
1:54
risk to growth are rapidly over shadow, overshadowing the upside
1:59
risk of inflation that have dominated the attention of
2:02
investors and central banks for the last two years.
2:07
We have an inflation problem in this country.
2:10
We know that, but we also have an economic problem in this
2:14
country. Wait till later, I'm going to
2:16
uncover a shocking fact for you about these retail sales
2:19
numbers, the BS numbers that they fed us on Thursday.
2:24
But nonetheless, guys, people are waking up.
2:26
Housing starts, building permits are crashing, right?
2:31
That's the very beginning phase of the construction process.
2:36
We know heavy equipment sales have been having some problems.
2:39
All this pointing towards issues in the economy, stagflation,
2:47
stagflation, a stagnant economy with inflation.
2:52
We got it, baby. OK.
2:53
And we know what that means for the silver price and gold price.
2:57
We know what that meant in the 19 1970s.
2:59
I move on. I, I saw, I, I digress.
3:03
The yellow Spot gold breach, the $2500 per oz level.
3:09
Shortly before 10:00 AM. Eastern, just half an hour into
3:13
the North American trading session and less than 90 minutes
3:16
after housing data was released. We are in record territory,
3:20
basement dwellers. Oh, and by the way, at 4:00 PM
3:23
today, we will have another 4:00 PM Central, another special live
3:28
stream where we will do the unblindfolding of the gold bear.
3:35
Many of you have been asking about that.
3:36
That'll be at 4:00 PM Central today.
3:39
After pulling back as low as 2480 announced, the yellow metal
3:43
began its steady March March higher once again and broke
3:47
definitively above $2500 just after 2:30 Eastern Time.
3:53
Which means in red, the blindfold comes off the bear.
3:58
This is interesting. Here's some interesting quotes.
4:00
OK? Gold has been on an unstoppable
4:03
run since October of last year, surging from near the $1800
4:09
level to score back-to-back all time record highs not once, but
4:13
twice, but on multiple occasions this year.
4:16
That's from Phil Carr, head of trading at the Gold and Silver
4:19
Club on FX Empire. The precious metal is up over
4:23
26% since mid February. But here's where it gets even
4:28
better. Gold prices have now chalked up
4:30
a whopping gain of more than 38% since October of last year.
4:37
All right, what about silver? We're going to talk a lot about
4:40
silver later in this video. What about the precious metal
4:43
mining stocks? Carr also noted.
4:49
This is where it gets super interesting guys.
4:51
A strong correlation between U.S. government debt and gold
4:55
prices. Conclusive evidence shows during
4:59
the period, U.S. National debt has ballooned from
5:03
5 trillion to $35 trillion. Gold prices have risen by 8
5:09
times since 2000. So basically during this period
5:12
where the US national debt went from 5 trillion to 35 trillion,
5:16
the gold prices have gone up by 8 times during that same period.
5:21
But here's where things really start to get interesting.
5:24
This is where guys we're going to talk about $5000 gold.
5:27
If history repeats itself, gold prices could reach $5000 an
5:32
ounce when the US national debt hits the $70 trillion mark.
5:38
Let's run out to the US debt clock and do a quick update.
5:42
Where are we? Oh, interesting, We're at 35
5:46
trillion. We know that, right?
5:49
And growing exponentially. I think we get it $5000 gold way
5:54
before we get to the $70 trillion mark.
5:57
But remember, guys, it wasn't too long ago that this number
6:01
was half of where it is right now.
6:03
Let's also, Oh my gosh, this is unbelievable.
6:07
Since we're here, let's look at the dollar to silver ratio.
6:10
We've been following this number closely over here in the lower
6:13
right corner. Remember, this was at zero,
6:16
what, 6-8 months ago? It has been going.
6:19
I looked at this earlier and it was at like 200 a month ago.
6:24
Now the dollar to silver ratio this morning when I was putting
6:30
my notes together, it was at 439, now it is at 440.
6:34
This measures the amount of money printed on an annual basis
6:40
compared to the each one ounce of silver that's produced.
6:44
So that means that for each one ounce of silver being produced
6:48
right now this year there are 440 dollars being printed.
6:54
Yes, Paper Unicorn Fart does whatever you want to call it,
6:57
funny money. It is getting out of control.
7:00
And you know what, while we're here, a couple of you, there's a
7:03
real interesting statistic. We go over here on the left hand
7:07
side, you see where it says defense war spending, what, $917
7:13
billion, Wow, approaching $1 trillion.
7:17
But there's an interesting relationship between this
7:19
number, the amount spent on defense in the amount spent on
7:24
interest on debt, OK. And the interest on debt is the
7:27
interest on the debt, which includes U.S., Treasury notes
7:30
and bonds, government account series and other special purpose
7:35
securities. Basically the interest expense
7:37
of the government that when the interest expense exceeds the
7:41
defense spending, that it's like doomsday throughout history,
7:46
right? You hear about the debt to GDP
7:48
ratio. Well, apparently, and I'm not a
7:50
guru on this, but apparently when you start spending more on
7:55
interest than you do on defense, that also becomes a major, major
7:59
issue. All right, guys, gold hits $2500
8:02
for the first time in history. This was another major
8:06
contributor yesterday ahead of Kamala's central planning unveil
8:12
that will usher and even more runaway inflation.
8:15
So apparently yesterday, not only did we have housing starts
8:18
crash, but Kamala put out her economic plan and from
8:23
everything that we're hearing, it includes massive spending
8:27
that can only be funded with more government printing, can
8:31
only add more to that dollar to silver ratio that we were
8:35
looking at earlier. Our friend, hold on here.
8:42
There we go. OK, Peter Schiff had this to
8:46
say. Paul claims he's data dependent.
8:49
He wrote on an ex post. Alan Greenspan, who once held
8:52
his job, said the most important data point on inflation is the
8:56
gold price. He said if gold breaks down,
8:59
monetary policy is too tight. If it's breaking out, it's too
9:02
loose. Gold just broke out over $2500.
9:06
Think about that. That means that with gold
9:08
breaking out, they're saying that monetary policy just
9:13
historically speaking, is too tight.
9:16
But we know that we're moving into a period that's going to
9:20
require looser monetary policy, lower interest rates, money
9:24
printing guys. Everywhere we look, it's it's
9:27
just looking better and better for the gold price and the
9:29
silver price. Frank Gestra, super highly
9:33
respected mining executive, very wealthy guy.
9:38
He chimed in as well. He said for the most part, US
9:42
mainstream media chooses to ignore gold, hoping it will just
9:46
go away. OK, He said.
9:48
Meanwhile, the rest of the world is loading up at record numbers.
9:53
A rising gold price is a threat to the narrative that all is OK
9:57
in the current Fiat currency system.
10:00
All is not OK in the current Fiat money system.
10:05
We know that. OK, so we have a call for $5000
10:09
gold. So how do you think gold could
10:11
get right? I can see 5000 gold way before
10:15
way, way, way. I I think that it could happen
10:18
in the next five years. OK, so I'll say five years.
10:22
Let's let's all about participate today.
10:24
Tell me how soon you think we could have $5000 gold and put it
10:29
in the and put it in the comments guys.
10:31
Wow, what a big honor that you're here.
10:34
So it gets even and we and we don't want to gloat.
10:37
We don't want to gloat over $2500 gold, right?
10:40
This guy, he's very happy. Don't forget to come back at
10:42
4:00 PM Central when we will take off the blindfold.
10:46
But we don't want to gloat. But what else is telling us?
10:49
And this is my analysis that I think perfectly proves that we
10:54
can get the $5000 gold way faster than anybody's talking
10:59
about. And that's because of the US
11:01
dollar. I want to go out and look at a
11:04
chart because all the pundits were saying yesterday that gold
11:08
was up because the dollar's down.
11:10
Well, let's go look at the dollar.
11:11
The DXY index. Yes, that index, we like to
11:15
refer to it sometimes as the prettiest turd in the toilet
11:19
index. It is down, OK, was down
11:22
yesterday, but let's look at an all time because guys we could
11:27
be in for a 10 year period of rapid price increases for gold
11:33
and silver. And I'm going to show you the
11:35
next chart which is going to blow you away.
11:37
But before we do that, before we do that, it's been about 10 days
11:42
since we put this in front of ourselves, OK?
11:48
Here is roughly where the US dollar index is right now.
11:52
See that about one O 3, that red line, OK?
11:56
This is a chart from 1985. That's a 40 year chart.
12:00
How much time has the dollar index spent higher than where it
12:04
is right now? Very little time, OK.
12:08
Now I want you to look at this period from about 2001 through
12:12
2011, the US dollar index fell from what about 120 all the way
12:17
down to 75. That was a bear market in the
12:20
dollar. OK.
12:22
Remember, we are still right now at historic highs on the dollar.
12:28
What do you think happened the last time we had a bear market
12:32
in the dollar from about O1 through about 2011?
12:36
I'm going to show you right now because it's super exciting.
12:40
This is a chart of the gold price.
12:42
You can see January of 2001, the gold was about $250 per oz.
12:49
Now for the next 10 years, the dollar went into a bear market.
12:54
Let's Fast forward out to 2011. Where was the gold price?
13:01
Oh, about $1900. I don't know what is that a six
13:06
times increase in the gold price That would be, and I'm not
13:11
saying it's going to happen, right, but that would be like
13:14
the gold price going to $15,000 over the next 10 years if we go
13:21
into a similar bear market in the dollar.
13:25
And don't forget guys, this happens, right?
13:28
Look at this bear market that we in the dollar.
13:31
Look, look at this bear market, right.
13:33
The one we just what? Hold on one second.
13:35
Susie's saying something to me. Oh, we got 100 thumbs up.
13:39
Awesome. Thank you, guys.
13:41
Wow, 400 people, you are part of the basement community.
13:45
Let's do a quick ring, huh? Let's hear a little silver.
13:48
Are you ready? Ten rings of the silver for the
13:55
100. Thumbs up.
13:56
Thank you, guys. Wow, this is crazy.
13:59
OK, so that's what we have to look forward to in terms of the
14:03
US dollar, $15,000 gold. But wait, there's more.
14:07
It gets better. You want to hear about $27,000
14:10
gold? Somebody's even talking about
14:13
$60,000 gold and and, and, and, and, and putting out prospects
14:18
for where the silver price could be.
14:22
I know it all sounds like crazy talk, right?
14:24
Let me ask you a question though.
14:26
Let me ask you a question. I want you to think about this.
14:30
Do you think back here in 2001 when gold was at $250 per oz,
14:38
the people that talked about gold going to $2000.00 an ounce,
14:43
right? A10 bagger, an 8 bag, whatever
14:45
you want to call it. Do you think they sounded crazy
14:48
at that point? Yes, they did right they did.
14:52
Now I wasn't following gold and silver as closely back then, but
14:56
I can assure you that the that the people that were talking
15:00
about the price oh, gold could go up could 00 you're crazy
15:04
right? Oh, gold could go up five times.
15:06
Oh, you're crazy. Well, gold went up what from
15:09
2:50 to 2000 during that 10 year period where we had a bear
15:14
market in the dollar. So when we talk about $27,000
15:19
gold, I know that's 10 times higher than where we are now.
15:22
It sounds crazy, but is it really that crazy?
15:27
It is exaggerated. I'm not going to, I am not
15:29
making a prediction that gold's going to go up 10 times, but but
15:33
we have to recognize honestly that it could happen, absolutely
15:38
could happen, right? I like to say silver and gold
15:42
could go to Infinity priced in U.S. dollars.
15:44
This this can go up, can go down infinitely.
15:48
It's paper. It's nothing.
15:50
It's not based on anything. OK, that's a fact, guy.
15:54
So let's go take a look. Our friends at the Silver
15:58
Academy have an article here, Silver Academy.
16:02
There's a link to that in the description of this video.
16:06
If you want to get like a daily e-mail with very interesting
16:10
stories and including this massive story that's breaking in
16:14
the silver market right now about Samsung's new solid-state
16:18
battery that that for like each electric vehicle could
16:22
potentially use 1 kilogram of silver.
16:24
We're going to cover that in tomorrow's live stream.
16:27
Nonetheless, if you want daily information, go subscribe to the
16:31
Silver Academy substance Perfect Storm Top Minds pricing gold
16:36
between 20,000 and $60,000 per oz Gold Slingshots Silver
16:44
follows. Don't listen to me, says our
16:47
friend John Little. But do listen to Luke Roman, Jim
16:51
Rickards, Right, who New York Times bestseller has done his
16:55
worked in like high level government positions.
16:58
Judy Shelton, potential next chair of the Fed Reserve, right?
17:03
She could, she could potentially be replacing, what's his name,
17:07
Gomer Pyle. Not Gomer Pyle, Jerome Pyle or
17:10
Mike Maloney. Luke Grauman, a financial
17:18
analyst, has suggested that gold could reach $20,000 per oz if
17:23
the Federal Reserve decides to back U.S.
17:26
Treasuries with gold. This concept of revaluing gold
17:30
involves the US government setting a new, higher price for
17:33
gold, which would increase the value of gold reserves and
17:37
potentially strengthen the balance sheet of the Federal
17:39
Reserve. Now, the scenario under which
17:42
this takes place, right? You know the Fed hates gold.
17:46
This would be their last resort right?
17:49
But guess what guys, if the rest of the world like the BRICS
17:53
countries that are happening to have a major summit this October
17:57
22nd and 23rd in Russia and are talking about a gold backed
18:01
settlement currency, the the gold standard never really went
18:05
away. We've argued that point
18:07
exhaustively. But if the rest of the world
18:10
starts to use gold to back their currency, it could put the you
18:15
could back the United States into a corner where the United
18:19
States could essentially be forced to have to revalue that
18:22
gold. This could be seen as a way to
18:24
restore confidence in the blue here in the US dollar and manage
18:28
the national debt more effectively.
18:32
The backing By backing Treasuries with gold, the Fed
18:35
would essentially be tying the value of U.S. debt instruments
18:39
to a tangible asset. Imagine that.
18:42
It worked pretty well up until 1971, when President Nixon
18:46
Temple rarely took us off the gold standard.
18:50
How's that worked out? You know, think about your think
18:53
about life quickly. I want you to think about
18:55
something life in America since 1971.
18:58
I was born in 1970. OK, things have gotten
19:01
progressively worse in this country.
19:04
Back in 1970, your average middle class American could have
19:08
one income earner, could have two cars, a decent little house,
19:12
could go on vacation, could afford healthcare, could afford,
19:15
Oh my gosh, imagine this food for their family.
19:19
Now we got like, what, 35% of the country on food stamps,
19:24
right? Some form.
19:25
I mean, it's the, the, the, the, the living standard in this
19:29
country. Since we've gone off, the gold
19:30
standard has gone in the toilet. Unless you're one of the 1%
19:35
wealthiest people in the country.
19:36
If you're one in 100 wealthy, then you're doing great.
19:39
OK, I digress. Which would enhance their appeal
19:44
to investors about inflation and currency devaluation.
19:48
OK. So that's Luke Roman.
19:49
OK Judy Shelton, Trump's potential pick as Federal
19:53
Reserve chair. Judy Shelton is a proponent of
19:56
the gold standard, has expressed views that align with the ideas
20:00
of using gold to stabilize the US monetary system.
20:04
This is our potential potential next Federal Reserve chair,
20:07
similar to Luke. Luke Roman suggesting of backing
20:11
U.S. Treasuries with gold.
20:12
Shelton argues that a return to the gold standard could provide
20:16
stability and prevent currency manipulation by governments,
20:20
thus supporting free trade principles.
20:22
She believes that pegging the dollar to gold would offer a
20:26
reliable store of value and serve as a safeguard against
20:30
inflation. Talk to the people in Zimbabwe
20:33
who had the worst inflation on the history of the planet, but
20:37
who for the last year have been operating essentially on the
20:40
gold standard and have eradicated the inflation
20:45
problem. What is that telling us?
20:47
OK. Which is a is a concern in the
20:50
current economic client. Shelton's advocacy for the gold
20:53
standard is rooted in the belief that it could impose this gold
20:56
discipline. What?
20:58
By limiting the government's ability to issue new money?
21:02
What? What is she talking about?
21:05
Thereby controlling inflation and maintaining economic
21:09
stability. This perspective is
21:12
controversial among mainstream economist, I bet.
21:16
Yeah, because they like Unicorn fart does funny money paper
21:19
money, right guys? We know that critics point out
21:23
that the gold standard could restrict the Federal Reserve's
21:25
ability to respond to economic crisis, as it would tie monetary
21:33
policy to gold prices, which are influenced by external factors
21:38
like mining output. And I said in red, whenever
21:41
there's anything in red, that's my comment.
21:43
Oh my gosh. You mean a little pain?
21:45
Capitalism needs pain. That's why.
21:48
That's why capitalism in free markets work.
21:51
It's called pain, right? When when someone's when a
21:54
business is in, if inefficient, right?
21:57
And when a banker makes massive errors like they did in O7 and
22:01
O8, they actually have to experience pain.
22:04
It weeds out the weaklings, it weeds out the and then things
22:08
are rebuilt. But guess what?
22:09
They come back stronger. So you know this idea that we
22:14
can just print money and fix everything?
22:16
Yeah, that works for a little while, right?
22:18
It's like taking narcotic painkillers to deal with a an
22:22
apparent problem. It works for a while, but
22:25
eventually, after a couple years, you know, you find
22:28
yourself addicted to painkillers and the problem is still there.
22:32
And I'm, I'm afraid that that could be where we are right now.
22:34
Jim Rickards, who's super high respected, wrote best selling
22:38
books, worked on big government secret projects, all kinds of
22:42
stuff. He arrives at a prediction of
22:45
$27.00 per oz for gold through a detailed analysis based on the
22:49
potential return to a gold standard.
22:51
His calculation involves using the M1 money supply and a
22:55
historic gold backing ratio. OK, two critical things there.
23:00
M1 money supply in the historical gold back in ratio.
23:04
Rickards assumes a scenario where central banks might be
23:07
forced to report revert back to a gold standard system due to a
23:11
collapse in confidence and Fiat currencies.
23:14
That's what we talked about earlier, right?
23:16
The world could force the United States back onto a gold
23:20
standard. Like if, if, if you want to play
23:24
with us, then you need to to be back in your currency by gold.
23:29
That's what the bricks could eventually do to us.
23:32
Driven by excessive money creation, competition from
23:36
crypto or a financial crisis. OK, this is basically how he
23:41
comes to his scenario. The price reflects a significant
23:46
increase from current levels and is based on the assumption that
23:49
such a monetary system could be implemented.
23:52
Records emphasizes this is not nearly merely speculative, but a
23:57
result of rigorous analysis considering historical
24:00
precedents and current economic factors.
24:06
OK, so right now what and how he comes to this gold price is
24:11
equal to OK, OK, here we go. Records uses the M1 money
24:18
supply, which is approximately 17.9 trillion, as the basis for
24:24
his cap calculation. He applies that only 40% of 40%
24:29
gold backing ratio, a standard historically used by the Fed.
24:34
This implies that 7.2 trillion worth of gold would be needed.
24:38
That's the top number there to back the money supply, given
24:42
that the US holds 261.5 million ounces of gold.
24:47
If you divide that 7.2 trillion by the 261 million oz, we get to
24:53
a $27,000 oops, gold price. History teaches U.S. history.
25:03
If we were, if we were to have a repeat of the 1970s stagflation,
25:09
which we kind of have that going on right now, moon shot gold
25:14
went up by 24X. Okay.
25:17
At our current price, John says of 2500 * 24 equals, that would
25:24
price gold at $60,000 per oz. We talked about this earlier
25:29
when we looked at the the gold returns from 2001 through 2011,
25:36
right? Gold went up during that period
25:37
by what, 6 times per oz roughly? Maybe more, maybe more like 7.
25:42
Yeah, I'm too lazy to get a calculator out.
25:44
But a lot during the 70s it went up by 24X.
25:48
Gold today backs the dollar by only 9%.
25:52
When you market to market in 1971 it was 12%, meaning gold is
25:59
lower now than it was in 1971 by this metric.
26:03
Then he does. We do some calculations based on
26:07
silver price per oz. If it's if it's measured at
26:10
2.5%, that would be what like a 40 to one gold to silver ratio.
26:17
At $20,000 gold, we'd have $500 silver.
26:20
At $25,000 gold, we'd have $625 silver.
26:26
And if we get Jim Rickards number of $27,000 gold, we have
26:29
675. So there you go.
26:31
Those are the crazy predictions. But are they really all that
26:35
crazy? Are they right?
26:38
Look back at what happened to gold.
26:40
Look back at what happened to silver during the 70s.
26:43
Look back at what happened to gold from O1 to 2011 and you
26:48
know, let's go take a look at what happened to silver the last
26:51
time we had a 10 year bear market in the dollar.
26:54
How did I forget to have that prepared for you guys?
26:58
Let's go take a look, you know, and boom, but we need to get an
27:03
update on the hold on here. There's silver.
27:10
While that's loading up, let's run out the pin backs.
27:13
Let's do an update. Current silver price $29.00 per
27:18
oz Gold price. Did you hear the news?
27:21
Gold's above 2500. Hey, look, always stack
27:25
responsibly. We're having some wild price
27:27
movements in all the metals, right?
27:29
Dollar cost average, Even the guys that own pin back say that.
27:34
Stack responsibly. But not just stack responsibly,
27:37
but make sure you're getting the most metal for your money.
27:41
Whether you're converting an IRA or you're buying silver that
27:45
you're going to stack up in your basement, whatever you're doing,
27:48
you always want to make sure you're getting the most metal
27:51
for your money. That's why thanks to you, right,
27:55
basement dwellers told me about PMBEX, about I think 14 months
27:59
ago. I made several purchases from
28:01
PMBEX before they were a sponsor of Ron's Basement.
28:05
And trust me, you can ask Susie, right?
28:07
I am the most resourceful, frugal guy, or as resourceful as
28:12
frugal as you're going to find. I am value oriented and when I
28:16
dug into PMBEX, I found out they had a great reputation.
28:19
When I looked at their website they had great selection and
28:22
their prices were ultra competitive.
28:27
That's why I work with PMBEX. That's why if you're going to
28:29
consider buying some silver, gold or platinum group metals,
28:32
please just do yourself a a big big big favor.
28:36
I'm not telling you you have to buy your metal from PMBEX.
28:39
I'm just asking you to compare what they can do for you with
28:42
what the other big online bullion dealers can do and what
28:46
those big fancy companies with ex professional sports players
28:51
that advertise IRA conversion on the cable news networks.
28:55
Compare what Pimbex can do for you with an IRA with what those
28:59
companies can do as well and I think you will be very, very
29:03
happy. All right, let's go look at
29:04
silver and see what it did during this 10 year period where
29:09
we had a bear market in the dollar.
29:14
Can't believe I forgot to show that to you.
29:16
OK, here we are. So in early 2001, right at the
29:21
beginning of the last big major bear market in the dollar,
29:25
silver was about 5 bucks an ounce.
29:27
Can you imagine that? OK, anyway, we won't go there.
29:33
It went from about 5 bucks an ounce up to wow, I forgot 2011.
29:39
How could we forget $50 per oz. So that's what we have to look
29:44
forward to as we move into another big major potential bear
29:48
market in the in the dollar for the gold price and the silver
29:53
price as well. OK, let's go to our subscriber
29:56
comment. Look, your thoughts matter.
29:59
Please leave comments, OK? That's how we learn is from each
30:04
other, right? You don't have to agree with me.
30:06
You don't have to agree with the other people in the comments
30:09
section. But if you're respectful, right,
30:11
and and we want to hear from you and we want to know your
30:15
thoughts now I had a great comment come in from my friend.
30:20
Hold on a SEC. Excuse me, Susie.
30:23
Susie says we have 200 thumbs up.
30:25
That means we're going to ring the old cowbell.
30:30
That's what we do when we get the 200 thumbs up.
30:32
Hey, Ron, $2500 gold. So what do you see as a
30:37
realistic gold to silver ratio? That's an easy one.
30:43
OK? Realistic, realistic, real.
30:47
Right now, the gold to silver ratio is approaching 90.
30:50
OK, realistic based on a number of factors #1A study.
30:56
I mean, the gold to silver ratio has been, as some people say, it
30:59
could get to 1 to one. OK, I'm not going to preach
31:01
that. Some people will say, well, go
31:05
silver. There's 10 ounces of silver
31:07
mined every year for each one ounce of gold.
31:10
It should be 12:50. Realistically, I'm not going to
31:13
buy that either. OK, Historically, we can say
31:17
some people say 17 to one. There's been periods of time
31:20
where it's been 10 to one, OK. But when I look at all the
31:24
factors involved, I think a realistic, OK, realistic, let's
31:28
say in the next 5 to 10 year, gold to silver ratio could be 50
31:33
to one. Now we don't have to be calculus
31:36
mathematic pH DS to figure out what the silver price would be.
31:43
OK. If we had a gold to silver ratio
31:45
of 50 to one, again, that's the number of Oz of silver that it
31:49
takes to get one ounce of gold. If we got the 50 to one at the
31:54
and we had the current price where we are right now of 25 to
31:58
one 2500, I'm sorry, that would make the silver price $50 per
32:04
oz. Look, if we go to $5000 gold
32:08
like we talked about earlier, that would put the silver price
32:11
at $100 per oz. Absolutely.
32:16
And I, I, I believe in my heart that we could get a 50 to one.
32:21
Now I want to ask you, all of you out there right now and I
32:24
want to and I want to read these off.
32:26
What do you think a realistic gold to silver ratio is in the
32:32
next, let's say five years? OK, Seth says he's looking for
32:37
25 to one. Tim says 50 and then 25.
32:42
I remember gas lines from the 70s.
32:44
Not only gas lines CM, there were lines out the doors at the
32:49
at your local coin shops as well.
32:51
OK, we will take the blindfold off the bear.
32:54
For those of you who joined late later here at 4:00 PM Central
32:58
today, special live stream. OK, and a little bit of a
33:02
surprise, especially for you silver lovers out there.
33:05
I'm going to leave it at that. Hey, there's Jake from Jake's
33:07
custom parts. I'm hoping he can join in on the
33:09
big celebratory live stream later today.
33:12
Vince says 12:50. Jake says 40 to one.
33:15
Sal says 16 to one. Where's my calculator when I
33:19
need it? I like you, Sal.
33:21
Frank says mind at 8:00 to 1, Realistic 25 or 40 to one.
33:27
Daniel, my friend. Daniel says 15 to one.
33:30
Jasper says 40 to one. Just to give you guys an idea,
33:35
since I can't do it in my head, let's say we got the 20 to one,
33:39
The 25, I'm sorry, $2500 gold and it's a 20 ounces of silver.
33:45
That's $125 per oz. Yeah.
33:50
OK, 7:00 to 1:00 Biblical times, yeah.
33:53
I mean, guys, it's going to be absolutely crazy.
33:56
Silver. Let's let's talk about this.
34:00
Gold's at all time highs, OK? Silver is, is a little over half
34:07
in in nominal. Just Unicorn fart does dollar
34:11
terms right? A little over half of its all
34:14
time high in nominal terms. Silver hit $50.00 back in what
34:19
was that 1980 right in today's dollars that's you hear all
34:24
kinds of different numbers, but let's just say conservatively
34:26
$150.00 per oz we have and we're thirty, we could have a 5 bagger
34:33
in the silver price. You know the gold to silver
34:37
ratio back in the I mean it went down.
34:39
So it's actually the other thing while we have this all time high
34:44
in gold is that the mining stocks have, I mean they're
34:48
still in the toilet. They come up a little bit, they
34:51
come up to the toilet rent, but they're still in the toilet.
34:54
The gold mining stocks, especially the development
34:57
companies like companies like First Mining Gold right Channel
35:01
sponsor, these are deep value opportunities.
35:06
I'm not giving financial advice. I'm just telling you what I
35:09
believe. And I in my opinion, in the
35:11
opinion of people like Peter Grandich, a number of other top
35:14
analyst, these companies are offering unbelievable value
35:18
opportunities right now. I felt that way two years ago
35:21
and they became an even better value opportunity.
35:24
So consider that again, I'm not giving financial advice.
35:27
Even companies that are producing silver and gold are so
35:30
underpriced. All right, Fortuna Mining,
35:33
they're making a lot of gold in West Africa, a lot of gold in
35:38
Argentina, a lot of silver in Mexico and Peru.
35:42
You know, when you look at their numbers, right, Sure, that
35:45
stocks improved quite a bit and let's say the beginning of the
35:48
year, but these mining companies are still dirt cheap.
35:51
And when Wall Street, here's what gets interesting, right,
35:54
For just the overall silver and gold sector, what do you think's
35:59
going to happen when Wall Street starts to pay attention to the
36:03
mining sector again? Yeah, it's going to put more
36:09
attention back on the actual metals themselves.
36:14
And we already know, right, that it's starting to percolate.
36:17
It's percolating, baby. It's time to put some boots on
36:23
the warehouse floor. Precious metals investors, this
36:26
stuff is undervalued. Precious metals, right?
36:30
This stuff is undervalued still silver in particular, this stuff
36:39
has no real value. It's paper.
36:43
Sure, I could go buy. I don't know why I can't go to
36:46
the dollar store anymore with that, right?
36:48
But eventually, and as we see on the on the debt clock, right,
36:53
they're printing and printing, I mean, how, how many more times
36:57
are we going to see this number go up and up and up, OK,
37:01
Psychologically, as a, as a precious metals investor,
37:06
something very important psychologically.
37:08
You want to talk psychologicals, not hypotheticals.
37:13
We're going to talk psychologically, OK, There's so
37:17
many people in this country in the West that know gold and
37:21
silver are value. Everybody is taught.
37:25
It's bizarre from a very young age, even in the United States,
37:29
right? The gold and silver are
37:30
valuable. We have the top analysts saying
37:33
silver in particular is the most undervalued asset in the history
37:37
of the world. OK, maybe the maybe current
37:39
history, but nonetheless extremely undervalued.
37:43
When silver, I want you to imagine this.
37:46
Imagine that a year from now we're talking and silver's at
37:49
$80.00 per oz. I don't think it's really it's,
37:53
it's going to shock a lot of the sheeple out there, but it's not
37:56
going to shock a lot of people that are in the investment
37:59
community. They're all going to be like,
38:01
darn it, I heard silver was so undervalued.
38:04
I wish I'd bought some silver. I wish I'd and that's what's
38:07
going to drive that price through the $3435 threshold up
38:12
to $50.00 and then up to $80.00. So a year from today, when I'm
38:17
sitting down here and we're talking about $80.00 silver and
38:20
guys, it's we we have to understand that is absolutely
38:27
within the realm of possibilities, OK?
38:31
Don't forget what happened the last time we had a bear market
38:34
in the dollar. Don't forget what happened right
38:38
in the 70s. It can happen.
38:40
It will happen. Oh, this is great.
38:43
What a bunch of bunk are you getting?
38:46
It's it's, it's, it's the segment of the show where Ron
38:48
gets mad because this week we had great retail sales numbers.
38:54
Great. And I pointed out to you right,
38:57
the economy is great. Hold on, let's get her out.
38:59
She hasn't she, she's been in her box.
39:04
For those of you who are new, she's been in this box for a
39:06
little while. Remember, if you listen to her
39:10
and she's also invited to the 4:00 unveiling or
39:14
unblindfolding, her and Jerome Powell are both invited.
39:17
But she's going to tell you the economy stronger than ever.
39:20
Everything's great. I don't know what's wrong with
39:22
the American people, what's wrong with you?
39:25
You should be happy if you were like me and part of the 1%.
39:29
And we're wealthy, right? Yeah.
39:31
OK, So retail sales are great. This is this is this is it, this
39:40
is it. This is super interesting.
39:44
We've got a new guy that we're going to talk about here on the
39:47
channel, and he points out this. OK, He's he's EJ Antonio, he's a
39:55
PhD economist and he says this. July advanced retail sales
40:04
estimate is 14% above April of 2021.
40:08
That's based on this latest data that went out.
40:10
So retail sales are up by 14% guys, since April of 2021.
40:17
But, and it's a big butt. And I know that you like big
40:21
butts, down 3% in real terms over the same time businesses
40:29
are selling less stuff, but at much higher prices.
40:33
So here's the chart. OK, look, OK, the green is the
40:39
number and the source is from the Bureau of Labor Statistics,
40:43
the Census Bureau. OK, the green is the number that
40:46
they tell us. That's Janet Yellen saying
40:48
everything's great retail sales. America's a consumer based
40:53
economy. I don't know what's wrong with
40:54
you. You should be happy, but the
40:58
blue line it just retail sales for inflation and if you notice
41:03
something, they're actually down.
41:06
That's because Americans don't have as much real buying power
41:12
as they had. So if you just look at it in
41:13
dollar terms, yeah, retail sales are great.
41:15
Well, that's cuz you just printed a bunch of money.
41:18
But if you look at it inflation adjusted, right?
41:21
If you look at just think about the dollar store, cuz back then
41:25
everything was a dollar at the dollar store in 2021.
41:29
Now everything's $1.25 at the dollar store.
41:33
So back then, if you took $5.00 to the dollar store and we're
41:38
going to ignore sales tax, you got to buy five things, maybe
41:42
two things of candy. What else do you buy at the
41:44
dollar store? I don't know.
41:46
One of those balloons and two things of deodorant.
41:51
OK, You got five items today. You go to the dollar store, OK,
41:58
And you only get four things right because it's $1.25.
42:03
And four times $1.25 equals $5.00.
42:05
So the economy is not doing all that well.
42:09
I'm sorry. It's just not OK.
42:12
And I need to ring the gong five times because now we have 600
42:16
people on this live stream. Hold on, basement dwellers.
42:18
I'll be right back. This will be quick.
42:22
Everybody loves the gong, the solid gold gong.
42:31
I wish. I wish.
42:34
OK, gold and silver. You remember back at the
42:39
beginning of the summer, what did we say about gold and
42:42
silver? We were saying things like,
42:45
look, the summer months are the toughest months of the year for
42:50
the gold price and the silver price.
42:53
You remember us talking down here?
42:55
I was wrong. I was wrong, right.
42:58
I said, guys, we're going to be we'll be fortunate.
43:00
I think if we make it through August and gold stays in that
43:04
23122 hundred. Hey, thank you.
43:08
Wow, yes, thank you, Daniel. I forgot to beg for super chats.
43:13
Super chats are super appreciated.
43:14
Thank you guys don't forget give this a thumbs up right now.
43:18
It helps get the word out to more people.
43:20
And you know what, if we get the 300 and Susie speaks loudly to
43:24
me from upstairs that we hit 300 thumbs up, I'll ring the train
43:28
whistle today, OK, And subscribe.
43:31
We're really trying to get to 40,000 subscribers, so please
43:34
subscribe to the channel. Now, enough of that.
43:37
Let's get back to the meat guys. This is big, big, big news.
43:42
This is a big, massive deal because at the beginning of the
43:47
summer, just six weeks ago, right, we were talking, I was,
43:51
we were, we were, we were. It's a fact, an absolute fact
43:58
that the summer months, July and August are so hard for silver
44:03
and gold, hard for us as silver and gold investors.
44:07
We talked about and and in the back of my mind, I thought it
44:11
could go lower. Like, please silver hold $25.00,
44:16
please gold, hold on to that $2300 twenty, $200.00 price
44:22
range. And despite all all of the
44:26
difficult circumstances facing everything that went on this
44:30
summer, what have we seen? Oh, my gosh.
44:34
Thank you, my friend. That's, I think, Danish
44:37
currency. Thank you, Mr. Shovel.
44:40
OK, what did we see? What did we see?
44:43
The gold and silver. This gold price is at all time
44:46
highs silver, right? Is it $29.00 per oz?
44:53
Now if this works out the way that it usually works out,
44:56
September and October are strong months for the metals.
45:01
Could, could we see 2620 seven $100 gold?
45:04
What do you think? Could we see silver?
45:08
It is so exciting. I'm telling you, we bumped into
45:12
$32 twice. We've had a double top and the
45:16
silver price that's called a double top.
45:18
It is ultra rare, super, ultra rare that you have what's called
45:25
a triple top in anything, a stock price, a commodity price,
45:31
a gold and silver price. We had a triple topping gold
45:34
earlier in the year, all right, And on the 4th time gold broke
45:37
through and you know what gold's been doing, unbelievable.
45:40
But silver, if it gets up to that 32 range, especially now,
45:46
especially with the gold to silver ratio where it is right
45:50
and if gold continues to lead and that ratio starts to
45:54
compress, we're going to blow through $34.
45:59
And there is nothing, nothing holding silver from $34 back to
46:06
5050 is that magic number that's on a lot of people's minds.
46:11
OK. It's going to be fun.
46:13
OK Hey, guys, thank you for being here.
46:15
I'm going to wrap this up. Don't forget, we'll be back at
46:17
4:00 PM today for a little special.
46:20
I don't know how long we'll go, 20 or 30 minutes, but we're
46:23
going to take the blindfold off the sky.
46:26
And there's a little surprise if you look real close.
46:28
You might get a hint at what that surprise is if you look
46:31
real close to that blindfold. Also, I want to say thank you to
46:36
you for being here. It's a huge thing, right?
46:38
You matter, OK? Please know that you're always
