- 0:01The gold price is hitting all time highs.
- 0:05Are you wondering just how high can this actually go?
- 0:09And what about silver? We're going to talk about some
- 0:12astounding predictions in this video for the Gold price, 5000
- 0:17dollars, $27,000. One person even mentioning gold
- 0:23prices as high as $60,000 per oz.
- 0:27But what does that mean for silver?
- 0:29And let's get started by referencing a great article from
- 0:34Kitco talking about just what happened on Friday.
- 0:37New all time highs for gold. But even more important than
- 0:41that, I want to say thank you for being here.
- 0:44Hey, listen, your thoughts matter.
- 0:46It's a big deal. You're here.
- 0:48If you subscribe to the channel, which I hope you do, you'll get
- 0:51new content every single day. But more importantly, you can
- 0:54participate in the comments section of this live stream
- 0:58where you can share your thoughts.
- 1:01Your thoughts matter. I read all the comments.
- 1:03As a matter of fact, we're going to talk about one of the
- 1:05comments later in this video. But let's go out to Kitco and
- 1:09let's start by talking about $5000 gold.
- 1:14Here's the headline from yesterday.
- 1:18And let me move my microphone closer now.
- 1:21Hopefully you can hear me a little better.
- 1:23Gold bugs crow as the yellow metal breaks through $2500 per
- 1:28oz to set fresh all time highs. What's next, $5000 gold?
- 1:35And we're going to hear about that in this article.
- 1:38But guys, here's the details. Gold prices hit new all time
- 1:44highs and both spot and futures markets on Friday after a weaker
- 1:48than expected U.S. housing data stoked worries that the downside
- 1:54risk to growth are rapidly over shadow, overshadowing the upside
- 1:59risk of inflation that have dominated the attention of
- 2:02investors and central banks for the last two years.
- 2:07We have an inflation problem in this country.
- 2:10We know that, but we also have an economic problem in this
- 2:14country. Wait till later, I'm going to
- 2:16uncover a shocking fact for you about these retail sales
- 2:19numbers, the BS numbers that they fed us on Thursday.
- 2:24But nonetheless, guys, people are waking up.
- 2:26Housing starts, building permits are crashing, right?
- 2:31That's the very beginning phase of the construction process.
- 2:36We know heavy equipment sales have been having some problems.
- 2:39All this pointing towards issues in the economy, stagflation,
- 2:47stagflation, a stagnant economy with inflation.
- 2:52We got it, baby. OK.
- 2:53And we know what that means for the silver price and gold price.
- 2:57We know what that meant in the 19 1970s.
- 2:59I move on. I, I saw, I, I digress.
- 3:03The yellow Spot gold breach, the $2500 per oz level.
- 3:09Shortly before 10:00 AM. Eastern, just half an hour into
- 3:13the North American trading session and less than 90 minutes
- 3:16after housing data was released. We are in record territory,
- 3:20basement dwellers. Oh, and by the way, at 4:00 PM
- 3:23today, we will have another 4:00 PM Central, another special live
- 3:28stream where we will do the unblindfolding of the gold bear.
- 3:35Many of you have been asking about that.
- 3:36That'll be at 4:00 PM Central today.
- 3:39After pulling back as low as 2480 announced, the yellow metal
- 3:43began its steady March March higher once again and broke
- 3:47definitively above $2500 just after 2:30 Eastern Time.
- 3:53Which means in red, the blindfold comes off the bear.
- 3:58This is interesting. Here's some interesting quotes.
- 4:00OK? Gold has been on an unstoppable
- 4:03run since October of last year, surging from near the $1800
- 4:09level to score back-to-back all time record highs not once, but
- 4:13twice, but on multiple occasions this year.
- 4:16That's from Phil Carr, head of trading at the Gold and Silver
- 4:19Club on FX Empire. The precious metal is up over
- 4:2326% since mid February. But here's where it gets even
- 4:28better. Gold prices have now chalked up
- 4:30a whopping gain of more than 38% since October of last year.
- 4:37All right, what about silver? We're going to talk a lot about
- 4:40silver later in this video. What about the precious metal
- 4:43mining stocks? Carr also noted.
- 4:49This is where it gets super interesting guys.
- 4:51A strong correlation between U.S. government debt and gold
- 4:55prices. Conclusive evidence shows during
- 4:59the period, U.S. National debt has ballooned from
- 5:035 trillion to $35 trillion. Gold prices have risen by 8
- 5:09times since 2000. So basically during this period
- 5:12where the US national debt went from 5 trillion to 35 trillion,
- 5:16the gold prices have gone up by 8 times during that same period.
- 5:21But here's where things really start to get interesting.
- 5:24This is where guys we're going to talk about $5000 gold.
- 5:27If history repeats itself, gold prices could reach $5000 an
- 5:32ounce when the US national debt hits the $70 trillion mark.
- 5:38Let's run out to the US debt clock and do a quick update.
- 5:42Where are we? Oh, interesting, We're at 35
- 5:46trillion. We know that, right?
- 5:49And growing exponentially. I think we get it $5000 gold way
- 5:54before we get to the $70 trillion mark.
- 5:57But remember, guys, it wasn't too long ago that this number
- 6:01was half of where it is right now.
- 6:03Let's also, Oh my gosh, this is unbelievable.
- 6:07Since we're here, let's look at the dollar to silver ratio.
- 6:10We've been following this number closely over here in the lower
- 6:13right corner. Remember, this was at zero,
- 6:16what, 6-8 months ago? It has been going.
- 6:19I looked at this earlier and it was at like 200 a month ago.
- 6:24Now the dollar to silver ratio this morning when I was putting
- 6:30my notes together, it was at 439, now it is at 440.
- 6:34This measures the amount of money printed on an annual basis
- 6:40compared to the each one ounce of silver that's produced.
- 6:44So that means that for each one ounce of silver being produced
- 6:48right now this year there are 440 dollars being printed.
- 6:54Yes, Paper Unicorn Fart does whatever you want to call it,
- 6:57funny money. It is getting out of control.
- 7:00And you know what, while we're here, a couple of you, there's a
- 7:03real interesting statistic. We go over here on the left hand
- 7:07side, you see where it says defense war spending, what, $917
- 7:13billion, Wow, approaching $1 trillion.
- 7:17But there's an interesting relationship between this
- 7:19number, the amount spent on defense in the amount spent on
- 7:24interest on debt, OK. And the interest on debt is the
- 7:27interest on the debt, which includes U.S., Treasury notes
- 7:30and bonds, government account series and other special purpose
- 7:35securities. Basically the interest expense
- 7:37of the government that when the interest expense exceeds the
- 7:41defense spending, that it's like doomsday throughout history,
- 7:46right? You hear about the debt to GDP
- 7:48ratio. Well, apparently, and I'm not a
- 7:50guru on this, but apparently when you start spending more on
- 7:55interest than you do on defense, that also becomes a major, major
- 7:59issue. All right, guys, gold hits $2500
- 8:02for the first time in history. This was another major
- 8:06contributor yesterday ahead of Kamala's central planning unveil
- 8:12that will usher and even more runaway inflation.
- 8:15So apparently yesterday, not only did we have housing starts
- 8:18crash, but Kamala put out her economic plan and from
- 8:23everything that we're hearing, it includes massive spending
- 8:27that can only be funded with more government printing, can
- 8:31only add more to that dollar to silver ratio that we were
- 8:35looking at earlier. Our friend, hold on here.
- 8:42There we go. OK, Peter Schiff had this to
- 8:46say. Paul claims he's data dependent.
- 8:49He wrote on an ex post. Alan Greenspan, who once held
- 8:52his job, said the most important data point on inflation is the
- 8:56gold price. He said if gold breaks down,
- 8:59monetary policy is too tight. If it's breaking out, it's too
- 9:02loose. Gold just broke out over $2500.
- 9:06Think about that. That means that with gold
- 9:08breaking out, they're saying that monetary policy just
- 9:13historically speaking, is too tight.
- 9:16But we know that we're moving into a period that's going to
- 9:20require looser monetary policy, lower interest rates, money
- 9:24printing guys. Everywhere we look, it's it's
- 9:27just looking better and better for the gold price and the
- 9:29silver price. Frank Gestra, super highly
- 9:33respected mining executive, very wealthy guy.
- 9:38He chimed in as well. He said for the most part, US
- 9:42mainstream media chooses to ignore gold, hoping it will just
- 9:46go away. OK, He said.
- 9:48Meanwhile, the rest of the world is loading up at record numbers.
- 9:53A rising gold price is a threat to the narrative that all is OK
- 9:57in the current Fiat currency system.
- 10:00All is not OK in the current Fiat money system.
- 10:05We know that. OK, so we have a call for $5000
- 10:09gold. So how do you think gold could
- 10:11get right? I can see 5000 gold way before
- 10:15way, way, way. I I think that it could happen
- 10:18in the next five years. OK, so I'll say five years.
- 10:22Let's let's all about participate today.
- 10:24Tell me how soon you think we could have $5000 gold and put it
- 10:29in the and put it in the comments guys.
- 10:31Wow, what a big honor that you're here.
- 10:34So it gets even and we and we don't want to gloat.
- 10:37We don't want to gloat over $2500 gold, right?
- 10:40This guy, he's very happy. Don't forget to come back at
- 10:424:00 PM Central when we will take off the blindfold.
- 10:46But we don't want to gloat. But what else is telling us?
- 10:49And this is my analysis that I think perfectly proves that we
- 10:54can get the $5000 gold way faster than anybody's talking
- 10:59about. And that's because of the US
- 11:01dollar. I want to go out and look at a
- 11:04chart because all the pundits were saying yesterday that gold
- 11:08was up because the dollar's down.
- 11:10Well, let's go look at the dollar.
- 11:11The DXY index. Yes, that index, we like to
- 11:15refer to it sometimes as the prettiest turd in the toilet
- 11:19index. It is down, OK, was down
- 11:22yesterday, but let's look at an all time because guys we could
- 11:27be in for a 10 year period of rapid price increases for gold
- 11:33and silver. And I'm going to show you the
- 11:35next chart which is going to blow you away.
- 11:37But before we do that, before we do that, it's been about 10 days
- 11:42since we put this in front of ourselves, OK?
- 11:48Here is roughly where the US dollar index is right now.
- 11:52See that about one O 3, that red line, OK?
- 11:56This is a chart from 1985. That's a 40 year chart.
- 12:00How much time has the dollar index spent higher than where it
- 12:04is right now? Very little time, OK.
- 12:08Now I want you to look at this period from about 2001 through
- 12:122011, the US dollar index fell from what about 120 all the way
- 12:17down to 75. That was a bear market in the
- 12:20dollar. OK.
- 12:22Remember, we are still right now at historic highs on the dollar.
- 12:28What do you think happened the last time we had a bear market
- 12:32in the dollar from about O1 through about 2011?
- 12:36I'm going to show you right now because it's super exciting.
- 12:40This is a chart of the gold price.
- 12:42You can see January of 2001, the gold was about $250 per oz.
- 12:49Now for the next 10 years, the dollar went into a bear market.
- 12:54Let's Fast forward out to 2011. Where was the gold price?
- 13:01Oh, about $1900. I don't know what is that a six
- 13:06times increase in the gold price That would be, and I'm not
- 13:11saying it's going to happen, right, but that would be like
- 13:14the gold price going to $15,000 over the next 10 years if we go
- 13:21into a similar bear market in the dollar.
- 13:25And don't forget guys, this happens, right?
- 13:28Look at this bear market that we in the dollar.
- 13:31Look, look at this bear market, right.
- 13:33The one we just what? Hold on one second.
- 13:35Susie's saying something to me. Oh, we got 100 thumbs up.
- 13:39Awesome. Thank you, guys.
- 13:41Wow, 400 people, you are part of the basement community.
- 13:45Let's do a quick ring, huh? Let's hear a little silver.
- 13:48Are you ready? Ten rings of the silver for the
- 13:55100. Thumbs up.
- 13:56Thank you, guys. Wow, this is crazy.
- 13:59OK, so that's what we have to look forward to in terms of the
- 14:03US dollar, $15,000 gold. But wait, there's more.
- 14:07It gets better. You want to hear about $27,000
- 14:10gold? Somebody's even talking about
- 14:13$60,000 gold and and, and, and, and, and putting out prospects
- 14:18for where the silver price could be.
- 14:22I know it all sounds like crazy talk, right?
- 14:24Let me ask you a question though.
- 14:26Let me ask you a question. I want you to think about this.
- 14:30Do you think back here in 2001 when gold was at $250 per oz,
- 14:38the people that talked about gold going to $2000.00 an ounce,
- 14:43right? A10 bagger, an 8 bag, whatever
- 14:45you want to call it. Do you think they sounded crazy
- 14:48at that point? Yes, they did right they did.
- 14:52Now I wasn't following gold and silver as closely back then, but
- 14:56I can assure you that the that the people that were talking
- 15:00about the price oh, gold could go up could 00 you're crazy
- 15:04right? Oh, gold could go up five times.
- 15:06Oh, you're crazy. Well, gold went up what from
- 15:092:50 to 2000 during that 10 year period where we had a bear
- 15:14market in the dollar. So when we talk about $27,000
- 15:19gold, I know that's 10 times higher than where we are now.
- 15:22It sounds crazy, but is it really that crazy?
- 15:27It is exaggerated. I'm not going to, I am not
- 15:29making a prediction that gold's going to go up 10 times, but but
- 15:33we have to recognize honestly that it could happen, absolutely
- 15:38could happen, right? I like to say silver and gold
- 15:42could go to Infinity priced in U.S. dollars.
- 15:44This this can go up, can go down infinitely.
- 15:48It's paper. It's nothing.
- 15:50It's not based on anything. OK, that's a fact, guy.
- 15:54So let's go take a look. Our friends at the Silver
- 15:58Academy have an article here, Silver Academy.
- 16:02There's a link to that in the description of this video.
- 16:06If you want to get like a daily e-mail with very interesting
- 16:10stories and including this massive story that's breaking in
- 16:14the silver market right now about Samsung's new solid-state
- 16:18battery that that for like each electric vehicle could
- 16:22potentially use 1 kilogram of silver.
- 16:24We're going to cover that in tomorrow's live stream.
- 16:27Nonetheless, if you want daily information, go subscribe to the
- 16:31Silver Academy substance Perfect Storm Top Minds pricing gold
- 16:36between 20,000 and $60,000 per oz Gold Slingshots Silver
- 16:44follows. Don't listen to me, says our
- 16:47friend John Little. But do listen to Luke Roman, Jim
- 16:51Rickards, Right, who New York Times bestseller has done his
- 16:55worked in like high level government positions.
- 16:58Judy Shelton, potential next chair of the Fed Reserve, right?
- 17:03She could, she could potentially be replacing, what's his name,
- 17:07Gomer Pyle. Not Gomer Pyle, Jerome Pyle or
- 17:10Mike Maloney. Luke Grauman, a financial
- 17:18analyst, has suggested that gold could reach $20,000 per oz if
- 17:23the Federal Reserve decides to back U.S.
- 17:26Treasuries with gold. This concept of revaluing gold
- 17:30involves the US government setting a new, higher price for
- 17:33gold, which would increase the value of gold reserves and
- 17:37potentially strengthen the balance sheet of the Federal
- 17:39Reserve. Now, the scenario under which
- 17:42this takes place, right? You know the Fed hates gold.
- 17:46This would be their last resort right?
- 17:49But guess what guys, if the rest of the world like the BRICS
- 17:53countries that are happening to have a major summit this October
- 17:5722nd and 23rd in Russia and are talking about a gold backed
- 18:01settlement currency, the the gold standard never really went
- 18:05away. We've argued that point
- 18:07exhaustively. But if the rest of the world
- 18:10starts to use gold to back their currency, it could put the you
- 18:15could back the United States into a corner where the United
- 18:19States could essentially be forced to have to revalue that
- 18:22gold. This could be seen as a way to
- 18:24restore confidence in the blue here in the US dollar and manage
- 18:28the national debt more effectively.
- 18:32The backing By backing Treasuries with gold, the Fed
- 18:35would essentially be tying the value of U.S. debt instruments
- 18:39to a tangible asset. Imagine that.
- 18:42It worked pretty well up until 1971, when President Nixon
- 18:46Temple rarely took us off the gold standard.
- 18:50How's that worked out? You know, think about your think
- 18:53about life quickly. I want you to think about
- 18:55something life in America since 1971.
- 18:58I was born in 1970. OK, things have gotten
- 19:01progressively worse in this country.
- 19:04Back in 1970, your average middle class American could have
- 19:08one income earner, could have two cars, a decent little house,
- 19:12could go on vacation, could afford healthcare, could afford,
- 19:15Oh my gosh, imagine this food for their family.
- 19:19Now we got like, what, 35% of the country on food stamps,
- 19:24right? Some form.
- 19:25I mean, it's the, the, the, the, the living standard in this
- 19:29country. Since we've gone off, the gold
- 19:30standard has gone in the toilet. Unless you're one of the 1%
- 19:35wealthiest people in the country.
- 19:36If you're one in 100 wealthy, then you're doing great.
- 19:39OK, I digress. Which would enhance their appeal
- 19:44to investors about inflation and currency devaluation.
- 19:48OK. So that's Luke Roman.
- 19:49OK Judy Shelton, Trump's potential pick as Federal
- 19:53Reserve chair. Judy Shelton is a proponent of
- 19:56the gold standard, has expressed views that align with the ideas
- 20:00of using gold to stabilize the US monetary system.
- 20:04This is our potential potential next Federal Reserve chair,
- 20:07similar to Luke. Luke Roman suggesting of backing
- 20:11U.S. Treasuries with gold.
- 20:12Shelton argues that a return to the gold standard could provide
- 20:16stability and prevent currency manipulation by governments,
- 20:20thus supporting free trade principles.
- 20:22She believes that pegging the dollar to gold would offer a
- 20:26reliable store of value and serve as a safeguard against
- 20:30inflation. Talk to the people in Zimbabwe
- 20:33who had the worst inflation on the history of the planet, but
- 20:37who for the last year have been operating essentially on the
- 20:40gold standard and have eradicated the inflation
- 20:45problem. What is that telling us?
- 20:47OK. Which is a is a concern in the
- 20:50current economic client. Shelton's advocacy for the gold
- 20:53standard is rooted in the belief that it could impose this gold
- 20:56discipline. What?
- 20:58By limiting the government's ability to issue new money?
- 21:02What? What is she talking about?
- 21:05Thereby controlling inflation and maintaining economic
- 21:09stability. This perspective is
- 21:12controversial among mainstream economist, I bet.
- 21:16Yeah, because they like Unicorn fart does funny money paper
- 21:19money, right guys? We know that critics point out
- 21:23that the gold standard could restrict the Federal Reserve's
- 21:25ability to respond to economic crisis, as it would tie monetary
- 21:33policy to gold prices, which are influenced by external factors
- 21:38like mining output. And I said in red, whenever
- 21:41there's anything in red, that's my comment.
- 21:43Oh my gosh. You mean a little pain?
- 21:45Capitalism needs pain. That's why.
- 21:48That's why capitalism in free markets work.
- 21:51It's called pain, right? When when someone's when a
- 21:54business is in, if inefficient, right?
- 21:57And when a banker makes massive errors like they did in O7 and
- 22:01O8, they actually have to experience pain.
- 22:04It weeds out the weaklings, it weeds out the and then things
- 22:08are rebuilt. But guess what?
- 22:09They come back stronger. So you know this idea that we
- 22:14can just print money and fix everything?
- 22:16Yeah, that works for a little while, right?
- 22:18It's like taking narcotic painkillers to deal with a an
- 22:22apparent problem. It works for a while, but
- 22:25eventually, after a couple years, you know, you find
- 22:28yourself addicted to painkillers and the problem is still there.
- 22:32And I'm, I'm afraid that that could be where we are right now.
- 22:34Jim Rickards, who's super high respected, wrote best selling
- 22:38books, worked on big government secret projects, all kinds of
- 22:42stuff. He arrives at a prediction of
- 22:45$27.00 per oz for gold through a detailed analysis based on the
- 22:49potential return to a gold standard.
- 22:51His calculation involves using the M1 money supply and a
- 22:55historic gold backing ratio. OK, two critical things there.
- 23:00M1 money supply in the historical gold back in ratio.
- 23:04Rickards assumes a scenario where central banks might be
- 23:07forced to report revert back to a gold standard system due to a
- 23:11collapse in confidence and Fiat currencies.
- 23:14That's what we talked about earlier, right?
- 23:16The world could force the United States back onto a gold
- 23:20standard. Like if, if, if you want to play
- 23:24with us, then you need to to be back in your currency by gold.
- 23:29That's what the bricks could eventually do to us.
- 23:32Driven by excessive money creation, competition from
- 23:36crypto or a financial crisis. OK, this is basically how he
- 23:41comes to his scenario. The price reflects a significant
- 23:46increase from current levels and is based on the assumption that
- 23:49such a monetary system could be implemented.
- 23:52Records emphasizes this is not nearly merely speculative, but a
- 23:57result of rigorous analysis considering historical
- 24:00precedents and current economic factors.
- 24:06OK, so right now what and how he comes to this gold price is
- 24:11equal to OK, OK, here we go. Records uses the M1 money
- 24:18supply, which is approximately 17.9 trillion, as the basis for
- 24:24his cap calculation. He applies that only 40% of 40%
- 24:29gold backing ratio, a standard historically used by the Fed.
- 24:34This implies that 7.2 trillion worth of gold would be needed.
- 24:38That's the top number there to back the money supply, given
- 24:42that the US holds 261.5 million ounces of gold.
- 24:47If you divide that 7.2 trillion by the 261 million oz, we get to
- 24:53a $27,000 oops, gold price. History teaches U.S. history.
- 25:03If we were, if we were to have a repeat of the 1970s stagflation,
- 25:09which we kind of have that going on right now, moon shot gold
- 25:14went up by 24X. Okay.
- 25:17At our current price, John says of 2500 * 24 equals, that would
- 25:24price gold at $60,000 per oz. We talked about this earlier
- 25:29when we looked at the the gold returns from 2001 through 2011,
- 25:36right? Gold went up during that period
- 25:37by what, 6 times per oz roughly? Maybe more, maybe more like 7.
- 25:42Yeah, I'm too lazy to get a calculator out.
- 25:44But a lot during the 70s it went up by 24X.
- 25:48Gold today backs the dollar by only 9%.
- 25:52When you market to market in 1971 it was 12%, meaning gold is
- 25:59lower now than it was in 1971 by this metric.
- 26:03Then he does. We do some calculations based on
- 26:07silver price per oz. If it's if it's measured at
- 26:102.5%, that would be what like a 40 to one gold to silver ratio.
- 26:17At $20,000 gold, we'd have $500 silver.
- 26:20At $25,000 gold, we'd have $625 silver.
- 26:26And if we get Jim Rickards number of $27,000 gold, we have
- 26:29675. So there you go.
- 26:31Those are the crazy predictions. But are they really all that
- 26:35crazy? Are they right?
- 26:38Look back at what happened to gold.
- 26:40Look back at what happened to silver during the 70s.
- 26:43Look back at what happened to gold from O1 to 2011 and you
- 26:48know, let's go take a look at what happened to silver the last
- 26:51time we had a 10 year bear market in the dollar.
- 26:54How did I forget to have that prepared for you guys?
- 26:58Let's go take a look, you know, and boom, but we need to get an
- 27:03update on the hold on here. There's silver.
- 27:10While that's loading up, let's run out the pin backs.
- 27:13Let's do an update. Current silver price $29.00 per
- 27:18oz Gold price. Did you hear the news?
- 27:21Gold's above 2500. Hey, look, always stack
- 27:25responsibly. We're having some wild price
- 27:27movements in all the metals, right?
- 27:29Dollar cost average, Even the guys that own pin back say that.
- 27:34Stack responsibly. But not just stack responsibly,
- 27:37but make sure you're getting the most metal for your money.
- 27:41Whether you're converting an IRA or you're buying silver that
- 27:45you're going to stack up in your basement, whatever you're doing,
- 27:48you always want to make sure you're getting the most metal
- 27:51for your money. That's why thanks to you, right,
- 27:55basement dwellers told me about PMBEX, about I think 14 months
- 27:59ago. I made several purchases from
- 28:01PMBEX before they were a sponsor of Ron's Basement.
- 28:05And trust me, you can ask Susie, right?
- 28:07I am the most resourceful, frugal guy, or as resourceful as
- 28:12frugal as you're going to find. I am value oriented and when I
- 28:16dug into PMBEX, I found out they had a great reputation.
- 28:19When I looked at their website they had great selection and
- 28:22their prices were ultra competitive.
- 28:27That's why I work with PMBEX. That's why if you're going to
- 28:29consider buying some silver, gold or platinum group metals,
- 28:32please just do yourself a a big big big favor.
- 28:36I'm not telling you you have to buy your metal from PMBEX.
- 28:39I'm just asking you to compare what they can do for you with
- 28:42what the other big online bullion dealers can do and what
- 28:46those big fancy companies with ex professional sports players
- 28:51that advertise IRA conversion on the cable news networks.
- 28:55Compare what Pimbex can do for you with an IRA with what those
- 28:59companies can do as well and I think you will be very, very
- 29:03happy. All right, let's go look at
- 29:04silver and see what it did during this 10 year period where
- 29:09we had a bear market in the dollar.
- 29:14Can't believe I forgot to show that to you.
- 29:16OK, here we are. So in early 2001, right at the
- 29:21beginning of the last big major bear market in the dollar,
- 29:25silver was about 5 bucks an ounce.
- 29:27Can you imagine that? OK, anyway, we won't go there.
- 29:33It went from about 5 bucks an ounce up to wow, I forgot 2011.
- 29:39How could we forget $50 per oz. So that's what we have to look
- 29:44forward to as we move into another big major potential bear
- 29:48market in the in the dollar for the gold price and the silver
- 29:53price as well. OK, let's go to our subscriber
- 29:56comment. Look, your thoughts matter.
- 29:59Please leave comments, OK? That's how we learn is from each
- 30:04other, right? You don't have to agree with me.
- 30:06You don't have to agree with the other people in the comments
- 30:09section. But if you're respectful, right,
- 30:11and and we want to hear from you and we want to know your
- 30:15thoughts now I had a great comment come in from my friend.
- 30:20Hold on a SEC. Excuse me, Susie.
- 30:23Susie says we have 200 thumbs up.
- 30:25That means we're going to ring the old cowbell.
- 30:30That's what we do when we get the 200 thumbs up.
- 30:32Hey, Ron, $2500 gold. So what do you see as a
- 30:37realistic gold to silver ratio? That's an easy one.
- 30:43OK? Realistic, realistic, real.
- 30:47Right now, the gold to silver ratio is approaching 90.
- 30:50OK, realistic based on a number of factors #1A study.
- 30:56I mean, the gold to silver ratio has been, as some people say, it
- 30:59could get to 1 to one. OK, I'm not going to preach
- 31:01that. Some people will say, well, go
- 31:05silver. There's 10 ounces of silver
- 31:07mined every year for each one ounce of gold.
- 31:10It should be 12:50. Realistically, I'm not going to
- 31:13buy that either. OK, Historically, we can say
- 31:17some people say 17 to one. There's been periods of time
- 31:20where it's been 10 to one, OK. But when I look at all the
- 31:24factors involved, I think a realistic, OK, realistic, let's
- 31:28say in the next 5 to 10 year, gold to silver ratio could be 50
- 31:33to one. Now we don't have to be calculus
- 31:36mathematic pH DS to figure out what the silver price would be.
- 31:43OK. If we had a gold to silver ratio
- 31:45of 50 to one, again, that's the number of Oz of silver that it
- 31:49takes to get one ounce of gold. If we got the 50 to one at the
- 31:54and we had the current price where we are right now of 25 to
- 31:58one 2500, I'm sorry, that would make the silver price $50 per
- 32:04oz. Look, if we go to $5000 gold
- 32:08like we talked about earlier, that would put the silver price
- 32:11at $100 per oz. Absolutely.
- 32:16And I, I, I believe in my heart that we could get a 50 to one.
- 32:21Now I want to ask you, all of you out there right now and I
- 32:24want to and I want to read these off.
- 32:26What do you think a realistic gold to silver ratio is in the
- 32:32next, let's say five years? OK, Seth says he's looking for
- 32:3725 to one. Tim says 50 and then 25.
- 32:42I remember gas lines from the 70s.
- 32:44Not only gas lines CM, there were lines out the doors at the
- 32:49at your local coin shops as well.
- 32:51OK, we will take the blindfold off the bear.
- 32:54For those of you who joined late later here at 4:00 PM Central
- 32:58today, special live stream. OK, and a little bit of a
- 33:02surprise, especially for you silver lovers out there.
- 33:05I'm going to leave it at that. Hey, there's Jake from Jake's
- 33:07custom parts. I'm hoping he can join in on the
- 33:09big celebratory live stream later today.
- 33:12Vince says 12:50. Jake says 40 to one.
- 33:15Sal says 16 to one. Where's my calculator when I
- 33:19need it? I like you, Sal.
- 33:21Frank says mind at 8:00 to 1, Realistic 25 or 40 to one.
- 33:27Daniel, my friend. Daniel says 15 to one.
- 33:30Jasper says 40 to one. Just to give you guys an idea,
- 33:35since I can't do it in my head, let's say we got the 20 to one,
- 33:39The 25, I'm sorry, $2500 gold and it's a 20 ounces of silver.
- 33:45That's $125 per oz. Yeah.
- 33:50OK, 7:00 to 1:00 Biblical times, yeah.
- 33:53I mean, guys, it's going to be absolutely crazy.
- 33:56Silver. Let's let's talk about this.
- 34:00Gold's at all time highs, OK? Silver is, is a little over half
- 34:07in in nominal. Just Unicorn fart does dollar
- 34:11terms right? A little over half of its all
- 34:14time high in nominal terms. Silver hit $50.00 back in what
- 34:19was that 1980 right in today's dollars that's you hear all
- 34:24kinds of different numbers, but let's just say conservatively
- 34:26$150.00 per oz we have and we're thirty, we could have a 5 bagger
- 34:33in the silver price. You know the gold to silver
- 34:37ratio back in the I mean it went down.
- 34:39So it's actually the other thing while we have this all time high
- 34:44in gold is that the mining stocks have, I mean they're
- 34:48still in the toilet. They come up a little bit, they
- 34:51come up to the toilet rent, but they're still in the toilet.
- 34:54The gold mining stocks, especially the development
- 34:57companies like companies like First Mining Gold right Channel
- 35:01sponsor, these are deep value opportunities.
- 35:06I'm not giving financial advice. I'm just telling you what I
- 35:09believe. And I in my opinion, in the
- 35:11opinion of people like Peter Grandich, a number of other top
- 35:14analyst, these companies are offering unbelievable value
- 35:18opportunities right now. I felt that way two years ago
- 35:21and they became an even better value opportunity.
- 35:24So consider that again, I'm not giving financial advice.
- 35:27Even companies that are producing silver and gold are so
- 35:30underpriced. All right, Fortuna Mining,
- 35:33they're making a lot of gold in West Africa, a lot of gold in
- 35:38Argentina, a lot of silver in Mexico and Peru.
- 35:42You know, when you look at their numbers, right, Sure, that
- 35:45stocks improved quite a bit and let's say the beginning of the
- 35:48year, but these mining companies are still dirt cheap.
- 35:51And when Wall Street, here's what gets interesting, right,
- 35:54For just the overall silver and gold sector, what do you think's
- 35:59going to happen when Wall Street starts to pay attention to the
- 36:03mining sector again? Yeah, it's going to put more
- 36:09attention back on the actual metals themselves.
- 36:14And we already know, right, that it's starting to percolate.
- 36:17It's percolating, baby. It's time to put some boots on
- 36:23the warehouse floor. Precious metals investors, this
- 36:26stuff is undervalued. Precious metals, right?
- 36:30This stuff is undervalued still silver in particular, this stuff
- 36:39has no real value. It's paper.
- 36:43Sure, I could go buy. I don't know why I can't go to
- 36:46the dollar store anymore with that, right?
- 36:48But eventually, and as we see on the on the debt clock, right,
- 36:53they're printing and printing, I mean, how, how many more times
- 36:57are we going to see this number go up and up and up, OK,
- 37:01Psychologically, as a, as a precious metals investor,
- 37:06something very important psychologically.
- 37:08You want to talk psychologicals, not hypotheticals.
- 37:13We're going to talk psychologically, OK, There's so
- 37:17many people in this country in the West that know gold and
- 37:21silver are value. Everybody is taught.
- 37:25It's bizarre from a very young age, even in the United States,
- 37:29right? The gold and silver are
- 37:30valuable. We have the top analysts saying
- 37:33silver in particular is the most undervalued asset in the history
- 37:37of the world. OK, maybe the maybe current
- 37:39history, but nonetheless extremely undervalued.
- 37:43When silver, I want you to imagine this.
- 37:46Imagine that a year from now we're talking and silver's at
- 37:49$80.00 per oz. I don't think it's really it's,
- 37:53it's going to shock a lot of the sheeple out there, but it's not
- 37:56going to shock a lot of people that are in the investment
- 37:59community. They're all going to be like,
- 38:01darn it, I heard silver was so undervalued.
- 38:04I wish I'd bought some silver. I wish I'd and that's what's
- 38:07going to drive that price through the $3435 threshold up
- 38:12to $50.00 and then up to $80.00. So a year from today, when I'm
- 38:17sitting down here and we're talking about $80.00 silver and
- 38:20guys, it's we we have to understand that is absolutely
- 38:27within the realm of possibilities, OK?
- 38:31Don't forget what happened the last time we had a bear market
- 38:34in the dollar. Don't forget what happened right
- 38:38in the 70s. It can happen.
- 38:40It will happen. Oh, this is great.
- 38:43What a bunch of bunk are you getting?
- 38:46It's it's, it's, it's the segment of the show where Ron
- 38:48gets mad because this week we had great retail sales numbers.
- 38:54Great. And I pointed out to you right,
- 38:57the economy is great. Hold on, let's get her out.
- 38:59She hasn't she, she's been in her box.
- 39:04For those of you who are new, she's been in this box for a
- 39:06little while. Remember, if you listen to her
- 39:10and she's also invited to the 4:00 unveiling or
- 39:14unblindfolding, her and Jerome Powell are both invited.
- 39:17But she's going to tell you the economy stronger than ever.
- 39:20Everything's great. I don't know what's wrong with
- 39:22the American people, what's wrong with you?
- 39:25You should be happy if you were like me and part of the 1%.
- 39:29And we're wealthy, right? Yeah.
- 39:31OK, So retail sales are great. This is this is this is it, this
- 39:40is it. This is super interesting.
- 39:44We've got a new guy that we're going to talk about here on the
- 39:47channel, and he points out this. OK, He's he's EJ Antonio, he's a
- 39:55PhD economist and he says this. July advanced retail sales
- 40:04estimate is 14% above April of 2021.
- 40:08That's based on this latest data that went out.
- 40:10So retail sales are up by 14% guys, since April of 2021.
- 40:17But, and it's a big butt. And I know that you like big
- 40:21butts, down 3% in real terms over the same time businesses
- 40:29are selling less stuff, but at much higher prices.
- 40:33So here's the chart. OK, look, OK, the green is the
- 40:39number and the source is from the Bureau of Labor Statistics,
- 40:43the Census Bureau. OK, the green is the number that
- 40:46they tell us. That's Janet Yellen saying
- 40:48everything's great retail sales. America's a consumer based
- 40:53economy. I don't know what's wrong with
- 40:54you. You should be happy, but the
- 40:58blue line it just retail sales for inflation and if you notice
- 41:03something, they're actually down.
- 41:06That's because Americans don't have as much real buying power
- 41:12as they had. So if you just look at it in
- 41:13dollar terms, yeah, retail sales are great.
- 41:15Well, that's cuz you just printed a bunch of money.
- 41:18But if you look at it inflation adjusted, right?
- 41:21If you look at just think about the dollar store, cuz back then
- 41:25everything was a dollar at the dollar store in 2021.
- 41:29Now everything's $1.25 at the dollar store.
- 41:33So back then, if you took $5.00 to the dollar store and we're
- 41:38going to ignore sales tax, you got to buy five things, maybe
- 41:42two things of candy. What else do you buy at the
- 41:44dollar store? I don't know.
- 41:46One of those balloons and two things of deodorant.
- 41:51OK, You got five items today. You go to the dollar store, OK,
- 41:58And you only get four things right because it's $1.25.
- 42:03And four times $1.25 equals $5.00.
- 42:05So the economy is not doing all that well.
- 42:09I'm sorry. It's just not OK.
- 42:12And I need to ring the gong five times because now we have 600
- 42:16people on this live stream. Hold on, basement dwellers.
- 42:18I'll be right back. This will be quick.
- 42:22Everybody loves the gong, the solid gold gong.
- 42:31I wish. I wish.
- 42:34OK, gold and silver. You remember back at the
- 42:39beginning of the summer, what did we say about gold and
- 42:42silver? We were saying things like,
- 42:45look, the summer months are the toughest months of the year for
- 42:50the gold price and the silver price.
- 42:53You remember us talking down here?
- 42:55I was wrong. I was wrong, right.
- 42:58I said, guys, we're going to be we'll be fortunate.
- 43:00I think if we make it through August and gold stays in that
- 43:0423122 hundred. Hey, thank you.
- 43:08Wow, yes, thank you, Daniel. I forgot to beg for super chats.
- 43:13Super chats are super appreciated.
- 43:14Thank you guys don't forget give this a thumbs up right now.
- 43:18It helps get the word out to more people.
- 43:20And you know what, if we get the 300 and Susie speaks loudly to
- 43:24me from upstairs that we hit 300 thumbs up, I'll ring the train
- 43:28whistle today, OK, And subscribe.
- 43:31We're really trying to get to 40,000 subscribers, so please
- 43:34subscribe to the channel. Now, enough of that.
- 43:37Let's get back to the meat guys. This is big, big, big news.
- 43:42This is a big, massive deal because at the beginning of the
- 43:47summer, just six weeks ago, right, we were talking, I was,
- 43:51we were, we were, we were. It's a fact, an absolute fact
- 43:58that the summer months, July and August are so hard for silver
- 44:03and gold, hard for us as silver and gold investors.
- 44:07We talked about and and in the back of my mind, I thought it
- 44:11could go lower. Like, please silver hold $25.00,
- 44:16please gold, hold on to that $2300 twenty, $200.00 price
- 44:22range. And despite all all of the
- 44:26difficult circumstances facing everything that went on this
- 44:30summer, what have we seen? Oh, my gosh.
- 44:34Thank you, my friend. That's, I think, Danish
- 44:37currency. Thank you, Mr. Shovel.
- 44:40OK, what did we see? What did we see?
- 44:43The gold and silver. This gold price is at all time
- 44:46highs silver, right? Is it $29.00 per oz?
- 44:53Now if this works out the way that it usually works out,
- 44:56September and October are strong months for the metals.
- 45:01Could, could we see 2620 seven $100 gold?
- 45:04What do you think? Could we see silver?
- 45:08It is so exciting. I'm telling you, we bumped into
- 45:12$32 twice. We've had a double top and the
- 45:16silver price that's called a double top.
- 45:18It is ultra rare, super, ultra rare that you have what's called
- 45:25a triple top in anything, a stock price, a commodity price,
- 45:31a gold and silver price. We had a triple topping gold
- 45:34earlier in the year, all right, And on the 4th time gold broke
- 45:37through and you know what gold's been doing, unbelievable.
- 45:40But silver, if it gets up to that 32 range, especially now,
- 45:46especially with the gold to silver ratio where it is right
- 45:50and if gold continues to lead and that ratio starts to
- 45:54compress, we're going to blow through $34.
- 45:59And there is nothing, nothing holding silver from $34 back to
- 46:065050 is that magic number that's on a lot of people's minds.
- 46:11OK. It's going to be fun.
- 46:13OK Hey, guys, thank you for being here.
- 46:15I'm going to wrap this up. Don't forget, we'll be back at
- 46:174:00 PM today for a little special.
- 46:20I don't know how long we'll go, 20 or 30 minutes, but we're
- 46:23going to take the blindfold off the sky.
- 46:26And there's a little surprise if you look real close.
- 46:28You might get a hint at what that surprise is if you look
- 46:31real close to that blindfold. Also, I want to say thank you to
- 46:36you for being here. It's a huge thing, right?
- 46:38You matter, OK? Please know that you're always
- 46:42welcome here in the basement. Subscribe to the channel.
- 46:45You can leave comments. You can make friends.
- 46:47I can't tell you how many people have made friendships through
- 46:49this channel. Susie and I, we really
- 46:52appreciate you. We appreciate your support.
- 46:54We are supporting the family on this channel and having a great
- 46:58time doing it, working hard. But it's well worth it because
- 47:02of people like you. There's no You Tube without you.
- 47:06We'll see you later today. Thank you.
