Reno’s gearing up to ring in America’s 250th birthday with a big, patriotic celebration on Wednesday, August 12th—starting at 8 AM at the Washoe County Historic Courthouse. Mayor Hillary Schieve will lead the ceremony, featuring a Moment of Honor, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a stirring National Anthem by City employee Cassie Harris.
