- 0:22Speaker 1: Close your eyes and make yourself nice and comfortable. Take
- 0:27a big, deep breath into your nose, feel your tummy
- 0:32expanding as you do. Breathe out gently through your mouth. Again,
- 0:41deep breath in through your nose, feeling your tummy expanding
- 0:45like a balloon, and breathe out one last time, big
- 0:53deep breath in and gently breathe out through your mouth.
- 1:01That's great, and just relax.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Now, imagine a bubble of glowing light, as white as
- 1:10the snow, surrounding your whole body. And this light is
- 1:15so bright, it's like a mini sun, but it doesn't
- 1:19hurt to look at it.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It's so gentle and so soothing, and it makes you
- 1:25feel so very safe and protected. This light, it's like
- 1:31a force field of protection and it will only allow
- 1:36love and positivity to surround you. Now, imagine that you
- 1:44are in your own bedroom and you are looking at
- 1:48your own bed, and you see sitting up on your
- 1:52bed a very large orange teddy bear, and you wonder
- 1:57where it came from because you haven't seen it before.
- 2:00It's not yours. The teddy bear has a beautiful necklace
- 2:05around its neck. There's a very large crystal hanging from it.
- 2:11It's very sparkly and shines ever so brightly. The teddy
- 2:17bear has a bright green flappy hat on its head
- 2:22with a big purple flower on it. It looks very colorful,
- 2:27and it's just there that you hear a voice say hello. Startled,
- 2:33do you look around the room. You can't see anyone.
- 2:36The voice speaks, hegain hello, it says. You turn to
- 2:43look at the teddybird on your bed, and you realize
- 2:46that it was the bear that spoke to you. The
- 2:50orange teddy Bear is smiling at a wonderful smile and has big,
- 2:55beautiful blue eyes. Did you just speak to me, you
- 3:01asked the teddybear. Yes, the teddybar replies, I have come
- 3:07to visit you and to invite you to come and
- 3:08have some fun with me today. Oh wow, that sounds
- 3:15just great. The teddy bear tells you that it is
- 3:20called Alex. You know that Alex can be a boy's
- 3:25name or a girl's name, so you get to decide
- 3:30whether your new friend, Alex, the Orange teddy Bear, it's
- 3:34a boy or a girl. Alex stands up off the
- 3:42bed and you see that Alex is very large, indeed
- 3:47almost as big as you. And Alex tells you the
- 3:51sparkling necklace is very magical. It can make the wearer
- 3:57able to fly. How cool is that. Alex pulls out
- 4:04another necklace from my pocket. You don't know where that
- 4:07pocket is, but it's there, and hands it to you.
- 4:13You put it around your neck and you wonder what
- 4:16will happen next. Alex opens the window in your bedroom
- 4:22and steps out onto the window sill and then just
- 4:25jumps out. Oh my, come on, shouts Alex. It's your
- 4:31turn to jump. So you think to yourself, well, if
- 4:36Alex can do it, so can I. So you too,
- 4:42climb up onto the window sill, and well you just jump.
- 4:47Oh my goodness me, you are flying. You don't know
- 4:53how you're doing it, but you are flying. You fly
- 4:58high up into the clouds, following Alex and then swoop
- 5:02down just as Alex does. Oh this is so much fun,
- 5:09Alex says. While you're swooping in out of the clouds,
- 5:14they can both fly to a very special place, to
- 5:18Alex's favorite place of all. Alex tells you to follow,
- 5:24and you both fly. You swoop up and down, having
- 5:28tremendous fun in and out of the clouds, passing the
- 5:32birds well, the odd one or two birds. Anyway, after
- 5:37a little while, when you've been flying around just having
- 5:40lots and lots of fun, you see below you snow
- 5:45covered hills, gentle hills, all looking very beautiful and very
- 5:52fresh and very clean, but not a single mark in
- 5:57the snow. Alex swoops down and lands on one of
- 6:04the snow covered hills. So you swoop down and you
- 6:08land too, well, you land with a bit of a bump. Yeah,
- 6:12you're on a beginner. That's flying thing, really, and this
- 6:15makes you and Alex laugh out loud. Behind a nearby
- 6:21tree which looks amazing with snow covered all over its branches,
- 6:28and it sparkles. It's like it looks like there's little
- 6:31silvery bit in it, it's so shiny. Alex pours out
- 6:35two snow sleds, one for you and one for Alex.
- 6:41Alex says that this is the most wonderful thing to do,
- 6:45and it's such great fun. This is Alex's favorite thing ever.
- 6:53So for just a little while, the two of you
- 6:56will get to ride your sleighs all over the gentle
- 7:00snow covered hills, and you will get to speak very
- 7:04fast down these hills. How much fun are you going
- 7:08to have together? Lots and lots, So climb aboard your
- 7:13sled and zoom off with Alex and just have lots
- 7:19and lots of fun with your new friend Alex, and
- 7:24just enjoy yourself and whizz along through the snow. Oh wow,
- 10:12that was great, wasn't it. Could you feel the cool
- 10:16wind whipping through your hair and on your face? Did
- 10:21you fall off your head? I bet you did. Alex
- 10:25asks you if you would like to have a sleepover. Well, yes,
- 10:30of course you would. Who wouldn't. And you wonder where
- 10:35you're going to have this sleepover? So Alex takes you
- 10:40to his lovely white igler and an igloo, if you
- 10:45didn't already know, is a house made of snow, bricks
- 10:49and ice. Really, and Alex's house even has a front door.
- 10:56So you go inside with Alex and you find that
- 10:59it's very warm. Indeed, you see a lovely little fire
- 11:04pit in the middle of the room with bright flames
- 11:06dancing in it, and you wonder why Alex's house isn't
- 11:09melting with the heat, But it isn't. It's a very
- 11:14special place. There is a pound of hot milk on
- 11:19the fire, and Alex pours it into two big mugs,
- 11:24one for you and one for Alex. It's very tasty
- 11:30and it makes you feel all warm inside. After the
- 11:37two of you finish your warm milk, you're both feeling
- 11:43a little sleepy. Well you would. With all that fresh
- 11:47air and all that flying and all that falling in
- 11:50the snow. What an exciting day, if hard with Alex,
- 11:54so much fun. But now it's time for bed, and
- 12:01there are two big beds with big fluffy quilts and
- 12:04pillows on them, one for each of you. You both
- 12:10climb into your beds and you snuggle down for the night,
- 12:15and you thank Alex for giving you this amazing day,
- 12:19and you thank Alex for showing you how to fly
- 12:23and how to ride your very own sled. Your eyes
- 12:28are closing now. You feel very, very sleepy, but you
- 12:33feel ever so happy. So you and Alex say good
- 12:39night to each other and close your eyes, and you
- 12:44breathe calmly and peacefully as you begin to drift into
- 12:50a beautiful night's sleep. You feel so happy, so peaceful,
- 13:00and your body begins to fall asleep, and then so
- 13:04does your mind. Oh you're so very sleepy, and remember
- 13:14when you wake up in the morning, you'll be back
- 13:17in your very own bed. But also remember you can
- 13:23come and visit with Alex any time you want to.
- 13:28You can ride your sledge down the gentle snow covered
- 13:32hills with Alex once again. You can play in the snow,
- 13:38and you can fly fly high up into the sky.
- 13:44So sleep tight.
