- 0:32Speaker 1: know that we can't get to all of them, but
- 0:33Speaker 1: there are a few that we simply have to address
- 0:37Speaker 1: and it's important to us, and so that's what we're
- 0:39Speaker 1: gonna do. We're just gonna be having a conversation about
- 0:42Speaker 1: sister Wise. Now, before we get into it, we do
- 0:45Speaker 1: have to issue you a disclamier. Please hide your wife

- 2:14Speaker 1: we're closer to God, which means we are starting our
- 2:17Speaker 1: ascension up the summit towards six thousand.
- 2:22Speaker 4: We'll get there eventually.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Anything you can do is so very much appreciated.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 2:32Speaker 1: All right, So, if you want to call us on
- 2:34Speaker 1: speak pipe, you might want to hold off because we're
- 2:37Speaker 1: starting to cover next week, but really the week after
- 2:42Speaker 1: we're gonna be covering in addition to Sister Wives, we're
- 2:45Speaker 1: gonna be covering poly Family. Yeah, I'm just gonna leave
- 2:49Speaker 1: it right there, just like that fun little quadruple polycule
- 2:54Speaker 1: a cringet. And so we're gonna be focusing on that.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And we might not be able. I can't believe you
- 2:59Speaker 1: said that. We might not be able to get to
- 3:01Speaker 1: all of your calls. Maybe once or twice every now
- 3:03Speaker 1: and again, but not like we have been. And so
- 3:06Speaker 1: just FYI, but if you do want to call in,
- 3:08Speaker 1: we listen to everything we do. We absolutely love to
- 3:11Speaker 1: listen to it.
- 3:11Speaker 5: All.
- 3:11Speaker 1: All you have to do is go to speakpipe dot
- 3:14Speaker 1: com slash reality TV Cringe. You have ninety seconds to
- 3:18Speaker 1: go off Queen or King and leave us the message
- 3:21Speaker 1: and we love to hear it, we know. Okay, So,
- 3:24Speaker 1: who is the first person who has called us to Pianas.
- 3:28Speaker 2: The first one we have is a two parter. Her
- 3:31Speaker 2: name is Audrey. Audrey Yeah, and she's got some thoughts
- 3:35Speaker 2: about this week's episode of Sister wat.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Oh okay, let's get into it all right.
- 3:39Speaker 6: Hello, this is Audrey calling from a dumpster in clear
- 3:43Speaker 6: monor Florina, So it's extra dumpsterary here because it's Florina.
- 3:49Speaker 6: But anyway, and this might be a two partner, so
- 3:51Speaker 6: I'm going to talk a little bit fast, and I
- 3:53Speaker 6: hope I can fit everything in.
- 3:56Speaker 7: So the first thing is this past episode, Robin's gas
- 4:03Speaker 7: lighting was just like too much of the other women,
- 4:06Speaker 7: like literally when not validating them on that camping trip thing,
- 4:12Speaker 7: you know, the way she was speaking about her relationship
- 4:14Speaker 7: with Mary, just absolute gas lighting, Like take some accountability,
- 4:18Speaker 7: it's all over, Just take some accountability. And then also
- 4:23Speaker 7: the way she has brainwashed her kids is like really
- 4:27Speaker 7: creepy that dress and that bow, and then that Rihanna
- 4:31Speaker 7: kinds saying look.
- 4:32Speaker 2: The way she's like, look, how would we do anything?
- 4:35Speaker 7: Look how you guys raised us, like like literally disgusting.
- 4:40Speaker 6: So yeah, so that's one.
- 4:43Speaker 7: The second is, you know, they're just kind of all
- 4:45Speaker 7: liars from the beginning, there's always been problems. They're all
- 4:48Speaker 7: lying about it to get money, which if they were poor,
- 4:51Speaker 7: who can blame them. But I am happy that it's
- 4:54Speaker 7: all coming out now. And the only real value I
- 4:57Speaker 7: feel like this show has now is to start a
- 5:00Speaker 7: exposing all of those things or else, I honestly don't
- 5:02Speaker 7: want to watch it, so I hope they continue with
- 5:04Speaker 7: that trajectory.
- 5:06Speaker 1: So yeah, well let's dress that because I will never
- 5:10Speaker 1: remember to go back to it after we get the
- 5:13Speaker 1: second message. But I don't know that i'd even call
- 5:17Speaker 1: what Robin is doing gaslighting. It's just straight up stone
- 5:20Speaker 1: cold Steve Austin lying. Yeah, you're just lying, and you
- 5:23Speaker 1: are gaslighting and you're obfuscating, but you're just a liar.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 1: What I really think is truly disturbing, slash creepy is
- 5:33Speaker 1: the infantilization of Aurora and Brianna and the rest of
- 5:37Speaker 1: them kids and how they're presenting. How these adult young
- 5:41Speaker 1: women are presenting on camera is very strange to me.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's because they're presenting like their mom, and
- 5:48Speaker 2: their mom is very strange.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, Robin strikes me as much more calculating.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Well now, and certainly when we met her though, like
- 5:56Speaker 1: in her early thirties, she seemed more present even to
- 5:59Speaker 1: me than Aurora and Brianna. They just seem really underdeveloped
- 6:05Speaker 1: in terms of their maturity, and like, yeah, they seem
- 6:08Speaker 1: very dependent on the opinions of Cody and Robin and
- 6:13Speaker 1: certainly also on their money too, But it's just like
- 6:15Speaker 1: this's just a weird, strange dynamic.
- 6:18Speaker 2: It's gross, and I just want those girls to move
- 6:21Speaker 2: out and like live on their own and breathe their
- 6:24Speaker 2: own air instead of Robin's farts, because like they literally
- 6:29Speaker 2: aren't seeing anything clearly. They only have Cody and Robin's
- 6:32Speaker 2: perspective on things. And it's really unfortunate because I feel
- 6:35Speaker 2: like they could have better relationships with the other OG kids,
- 6:38Speaker 2: because some of the OG kids have expressed that they
- 6:40Speaker 2: actually do like Robin's kids. It's Robin telling her daughters
- 6:45Speaker 2: and her younger kids that, no, everybody hates you, so
- 6:48Speaker 2: just stay at home with mommy and daddy, and it's
- 6:51Speaker 2: really disturbing. Yeah, and then what was her other point?
- 6:54Speaker 1: I think that was pretty much it just like the gaslighting,
- 6:56Speaker 1: the lying.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah, Oh, and like how the show would only be interesting, Yeah,
- 7:02Speaker 2: if we actually aired out everyone's dirty laundry and held
- 7:05Speaker 2: people accountable. But they're never going to do.
- 7:07Speaker 1: That, No, And I think they're always going to have
- 7:09Speaker 1: like the Remnant. We are the remnant, we are the
- 7:11Speaker 1: last of us, Like we are going to be here
- 7:14Speaker 1: till the very end totally. But I think they could
- 7:16Speaker 1: actually attract new viewers and people interested in this if
- 7:19Speaker 1: they started exposing and if they started to be more
- 7:22Speaker 1: transparent and calling some of this behavior out. I think
- 7:25Speaker 1: that would be of great interest to a lot of
- 7:27Speaker 1: people like you have, like so many intersecting spaces, like
- 7:30Speaker 1: people who are into cults, you know, people who are
- 7:33Speaker 1: into this Mormonism, polygamy, but are also just people who
- 7:36Speaker 1: are into relationships and divorces and like all of this
- 7:39Speaker 1: stuff could be so much more interesting if they produced
- 7:42Speaker 1: it differently.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Yep.
- 7:43Speaker 1: But they will never and we won't leave and no,
- 7:46Speaker 1: they know that, of course, And I think they're just
- 7:48Speaker 1: content that the nine hundred thousand or one point two
- 7:51Speaker 1: million of us that tune in each week, like that's
- 7:53Speaker 1: enough for them, like aim high or do better give
- 7:56Speaker 1: us more reels?
- 7:58Speaker 7: Uh? All right?
- 7:59Speaker 6: So our next one, Audrey, with part two.
- 8:01Speaker 7: So the other thing I wanted to mention is did
- 8:04Speaker 7: you notice how the cameraman zoomed in on Cody's force ring.
- 8:10Speaker 7: I thought that was a little snarky, and I'm loving it.
- 8:12Speaker 7: I think the production crew is different, so I really
- 8:15Speaker 7: appreciated that. Good ten second zoom in on that ring
- 8:19Speaker 7: because that's absurd. And then also Tameron Hall of Cloth
- 8:24Speaker 7: through Robin's control manipulation from the start when she was
- 8:27Speaker 7: doing those tell alls with him, and that interview she
- 8:31Speaker 7: had him with Mary was just like very telling. Mary
- 8:33Speaker 7: wouldn't reveal a whole lot as to be expected, I
- 8:35Speaker 7: guess with the show still airing and everything, but Tammaron
- 8:40Speaker 7: revealed a lot. And I appreciate Tammeron for that because Tammeron.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Was always that close to me.
- 8:46Speaker 7: I wish they'd bring her back, but now we know why,
- 8:48Speaker 7: because she don't want to ask questions and Cody don't
- 8:50Speaker 7: want to answer them. And then the last thing is
- 8:54Speaker 7: I just think Cody is sending it up to where
- 8:57Speaker 7: if Robin leaves him with all the money, that it'll
- 9:00Speaker 7: be all Robin's fault.
- 9:02Speaker 6: He kept saying this last episode he loved her.
- 9:05Speaker 7: He'll do anything for her if she takes everything she
- 9:09Speaker 7: could because he loves her so much, So you know,
- 9:13Speaker 7: if it's going down that road, I think Cody is
- 9:15Speaker 7: setting it up to where it's all woe was me?
- 9:17Speaker 7: So thanks for listening. Love you guys so much, like
- 9:21Speaker 7: you have no clue. You guys are the perfect amount
- 9:24Speaker 7: of unhinged that I am, and just all here for it.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Love you bye.
- 9:30Speaker 7: Too.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So let me ask you what do we think they
- 9:33Speaker 1: were trying to say when they were zooming in on
- 9:36Speaker 1: his stallion ring.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I think they were showing like a physical representation of
- 9:41Speaker 2: the fact that him and Robin are soulmates. And I
- 9:45Speaker 2: think like they didn't really advertise that they got the
- 9:49Speaker 2: stallion rings right, like that was just something that the
- 9:51Speaker 2: reddit sleuths right had figured out that they had matching
- 9:54Speaker 2: horse rings, yes, after the divorces happened and everything. So
- 9:59Speaker 2: I think that that was a little bit of a
- 10:02Speaker 2: fan service and a little bit of like a signal
- 10:04Speaker 2: like maybe the producers are seeing what people are seeing online.
- 10:07Speaker 2: I mean, like, how can you not sure? Like everybody
- 10:09Speaker 2: is screaming the same thing online about hold these people
- 10:13Speaker 2: accountable and Cony and Robert are the literal worst people alive,
- 10:16Speaker 2: like they have to be seeing it.
- 10:18Speaker 1: So yeah, I just wish it could be so much
- 10:21Speaker 1: more overt. They could actually ask them questions and the
- 10:23Speaker 1: interstitials and compel them to answer. But of course we're
- 10:26Speaker 1: never going to get there. With regard to Tamern Hall.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I thought that was you know, it was a frustrating
- 10:32Speaker 1: interview actually, because it was just more of the same
- 10:34Speaker 1: from Mary. And I'm just really tired of her walls
- 10:38Speaker 1: upstick and hiding behind the fact that the season is
- 10:41Speaker 1: still airing, and I'm just like, you know exactly what
- 10:44Speaker 1: it is that we want out here, you know what
- 10:47Speaker 1: we want to talk about. I did, as well as
- 10:50Speaker 1: as Audrey. I did appreciate Tameron Hall being a bit
- 10:53Speaker 1: more direct about things. I mean, I actually think Tamern
- 10:56Speaker 1: Hall would have a lot of questions she would love
- 10:59Speaker 1: to ask. But absolutely Cody doesn't want to answer any
- 11:01Speaker 1: of those things. And he does not want to be
- 11:03Speaker 1: put into a room and sit across from anybody, woman
- 11:06Speaker 1: or man, know who's going to try and get him
- 11:08Speaker 1: to talk about any of this stuff, which is so
- 11:11Speaker 1: patently unfair as it concerns the audience.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Agreed, And what do you think about her last point
- 11:17Speaker 2: about if Robin were to leave Cody and take all
- 11:21Speaker 2: of his money, Like, is Cody kind of setting up
- 11:23Speaker 2: the stage for him being a perpetual victim.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I personally don't see it that way. I feel like
- 11:29Speaker 1: he's actually in these moments when he is speaking about Robin.
- 11:32Speaker 1: He is being as truthful and honest as he can be.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I think he's just recognizing and acknowledging for all of
- 11:39Speaker 1: us that he is vulnerable, Like he has laid himself there.
- 11:44Speaker 1: He's given her absolutely everything he could. He's even stolen,
- 11:48Speaker 1: beg borrowed and stolen on her behalf, allegedly in my opinion,
- 11:53Speaker 1: so that she could have everything that she wanted, like
- 11:55Speaker 1: he would do anything for her. And that means she
- 11:58Speaker 1: really does have all the power totally, and she could
- 12:01Speaker 1: destroy him, just as he has seen her destroy David
- 12:05Speaker 1: Jessup before him, just as he has witnessed And whether
- 12:08Speaker 1: he wants to consciously acknowledge it or not, I don't know.
- 12:10Speaker 1: But he has witnessed her destroy his family. He knows
- 12:14Speaker 1: she's capable of it. He knows that she could wreck
- 12:18Speaker 1: him forever. But nonetheless he's still offering himself up because
- 12:22Speaker 1: that is how much that man loves that woman.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yep. And that would be so wild if she did
- 12:28Speaker 2: actually leave him when he was broke, like if she
- 12:30Speaker 2: was only with him for the money and she was
- 12:33Speaker 2: just lying about the fact that he was her soulmate,
- 12:36Speaker 2: that would be wild. But I don't know if that
- 12:38Speaker 2: will happen in this reality, it might happen in another
- 12:41Speaker 2: parallel universe, right and I would.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Love to be a simultaneous universe that is occurring right now.
- 12:47Speaker 1: There is a situation where she's dumping his ass. Actually
- 12:51Speaker 1: think it is possible that Robin could dump him if
- 12:54Speaker 1: the money runs out.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I would die.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I mean she is when you think about it, She's
- 12:58Speaker 1: putting up with so much in terms of like public shame,
- 13:02Speaker 1: in public rage against her, like she is doing it
- 13:05Speaker 1: for the money already. She's sticking in for that reason.
- 13:09Speaker 1: And if that dried up, I think she would bounce.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I think he doesn't have a washboard. After mid He's
- 13:16Speaker 1: got buns of steels. It's not enough to keep Robin Brown,
- 13:19Speaker 1: not at all.
- 13:20Speaker 2: From your lips to God's ears.
- 13:22Speaker 1: We'll see what happens.
- 13:23Speaker 2: We'll be watching.
- 13:24Speaker 7: Well.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Thank you for your messages, Audrey. Next one we have
- 13:27Speaker 2: is from Danny.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Danny.
- 13:29Speaker 8: Danny, Hey, y'all, this is a raccoon from Mississippi. I
- 13:34Speaker 8: don't know where you've been my whole life. I've been
- 13:36Speaker 8: watching Sister Wives pretty much since they first started filming,
- 13:42Speaker 8: and I am as invested now as I was then.
- 13:45Speaker 8: But yet I've only found you in the past few months.
- 13:48Speaker 8: Oh my gosh, so so thankful that I can listen
- 13:53Speaker 8: to your commentary. So thankful in fact, that I started
- 13:57Speaker 8: rewatching season six when you started your recap as well,
- 14:00Speaker 8: just so I could go through all of it again
- 14:03Speaker 8: with you. Instead of a comment on anything that's happening
- 14:08Speaker 8: right now on the show, I just wanted to let
- 14:10Speaker 8: you know that I am a teacher and it is
- 14:14Speaker 8: very difficult for me not to end my class every
- 14:17Speaker 8: day by saying, all right, well, that's all we have
- 14:22Speaker 8: for today. Is there anything else we need to tell
- 14:25Speaker 8: these beautiful raccoons before we get on about it here
- 14:28Speaker 8: be address well, but I don't because my students already
- 14:34Speaker 8: think I'm crazy enough. Love you girls, and please keep
- 14:38Speaker 8: it up.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm feeling so many things inside of
- 14:43Speaker 1: my body, mind and spirit. And I did my butt
- 14:47Speaker 1: for dandy. Thank you. Those fool messages are actually really
- 14:51Speaker 1: meaningful to us. I know we're just a couple of
- 14:54Speaker 1: rods in wigs up here on the internet in front
- 14:57Speaker 1: of a dumpster, but we actually we appreciate our community
- 15:01Speaker 1: and the people who show up and the people who interact,
- 15:04Speaker 1: and the people who get it. Yeah, they're vibing with
- 15:06Speaker 1: us like they understand. It's like that means so much
- 15:10Speaker 1: to us. And in a very crazy world, Danny and
- 15:13Speaker 1: everybody else, when things appear to be going off the
- 15:17Speaker 1: rails on a crazy train, I think it is important
- 15:20Speaker 1: that you find your communities, no matter how frivolous or
- 15:23Speaker 1: whatever the shared interests might be, like where you could
- 15:26Speaker 1: just hang out and laugh a little bit, have fun,
- 15:29Speaker 1: have some frivolity, like be a little ridiculous, be a
- 15:33Speaker 1: little rude, if you want to be with people who
- 15:35Speaker 1: are going to judge you. I think that is something
- 15:37Speaker 1: we need now more than ever. Danny agreat, Thank you.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Thanks Danny. We love you. Right, that's so oh my gosh.
- 15:44Speaker 2: All right, next one, we have us from Sierra Sierra Guars.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I am setting here and rural Wet done a call,
- 15:56Speaker 3: and I am catching up on.
- 15:59Speaker 1: All of your.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Patreon uncensored podcasts, and I am loving them. I love
- 16:09Speaker 3: your podcasts. I love listening to your opinions. I agree
- 16:16Speaker 3: with most of them. I just wanted to mention that
- 16:21Speaker 3: since the beginning, I saw Robin's kids dripped all over code,
- 16:29Speaker 3: not allowing any of his kids his biological kids any
- 16:34Speaker 3: time with him. It was from the get go, and
- 16:40Speaker 3: I think Robin.
- 16:41Speaker 8: Of course encouraged it.
- 16:45Speaker 3: When they were in groups, when they were all together
- 16:48Speaker 3: as a family, her kids were always drapped all over him,
- 16:52Speaker 3: and then the babies came along, and of course they
- 16:55Speaker 3: were dripped all over him, and it was irritating from
- 17:00Speaker 3: the start. I clocked it. I was frustrated by it,
- 17:08Speaker 3: and it just goes to show that he was wrapped
- 17:15Speaker 3: run her finger, I.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Want to cut off. Oh okay, yeah, one hundree Iah.
- 17:23Speaker 1: And it's very interesting when you think about it, because
- 17:28Speaker 1: when Robin entered the family, and again we've debated whether
- 17:32Speaker 1: she thought about this, whether she was conscious to this,
- 17:34Speaker 1: whether this was an overt manipulation or covert who knows,
- 17:37Speaker 1: But like she was thinking about how she could be
- 17:41Speaker 1: as close as possible to Cody. She loved him. I
- 17:45Speaker 1: do believe she thought that he was her soulmate. But
- 17:49Speaker 1: in order to get his focus, she had to place
- 17:54Speaker 1: physical objects and obstacles to block access from other wives
- 18:02Speaker 1: and even their children.
- 18:03Speaker 7: Yeap.
- 18:03Speaker 1: And I don't even know that she thought about what
- 18:06Speaker 1: she was doing. I think she's just passing the kids
- 18:09Speaker 1: and she's encouraging her children from a different relationship to
- 18:13Speaker 1: also get in there, sit on his lab, love on him,
- 18:18Speaker 1: call him daddy, and just put yourself into a position
- 18:21Speaker 1: where he can give you love and you can receive that.
- 18:24Speaker 1: But also these other kids don't have the same kind
- 18:27Speaker 1: of access to him.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Oh, definitely. And I don't think she was conscious to
- 18:30Speaker 2: it at all. I think she just wanted her kids
- 18:32Speaker 2: to have a dad figure, but like did not think
- 18:36Speaker 2: about the other kids actually needing their dad. And this
- 18:39Speaker 2: is something that like my stepmom did when she got
- 18:43Speaker 2: with my dad. She had two little boys whose dad
- 18:46Speaker 2: was a piece of crab, and she wanted my dad
- 18:49Speaker 2: to kind of step in and raise her kids, which
- 18:51Speaker 2: was totally fine, and my dad was totally willing to
- 18:54Speaker 2: do that. My dad's a good guy. But she placed
- 18:57Speaker 2: her kids totally in front of me and my sister,
- 19:02Speaker 2: and they slowly but surely kind of replaced our position
- 19:07Speaker 2: in the primary family. And to this day, my stepmom
- 19:11Speaker 2: thought that she was doing the right thing, and she
- 19:13Speaker 2: thought she was making it fair, and she thought that
- 19:16Speaker 2: she was being a good step mom. But I'm like,
- 19:18Speaker 2: really not really low, Like you were kind of manipulative
- 19:22Speaker 2: and like very strategic and how you placed your kids
- 19:25Speaker 2: in front of us, and how you divided the time
- 19:27Speaker 2: and everything, and that's just how it was. And like
- 19:30Speaker 2: do I fault her for it, Yes and no, but
- 19:34Speaker 2: like I don't think she was conscious to it. And
- 19:35Speaker 2: she wanted her kids to have a dad. Their dad
- 19:37Speaker 2: was a piece of crab, And if we are to
- 19:39Speaker 2: believe Robin's story about David Jessup and how he was
- 19:43Speaker 2: a piece of crab, she wanted to give her kids
- 19:45Speaker 2: a dad. But you should have thought about the rest
- 19:48Speaker 2: of the family there, because their relationships with Cody were
- 19:52Speaker 2: just as important as your kid's relationship with him.
- 19:55Speaker 1: And don't be so surprised in season seventeen, eighteen and
- 19:58Speaker 1: nineteen and the kids aren't talking to their dad anymore when
- 20:03Speaker 1: he's taking Aurora out to get her ears pears exactly,
- 20:06Speaker 1: won't even call Maddie, hasn't even seen Maddie's children. Like,
- 20:09Speaker 1: don't be so surprised or act brand new about the
- 20:11Speaker 1: fact that all of these relationships fell apart because you
- 20:14Speaker 1: literally put your children in there. You inserted your children
- 20:17Speaker 1: in there to block their access to their father exactly.
- 20:20Speaker 1: So it's really sad and unfortunate but this is where
- 20:24Speaker 1: we are.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Yep, thank you Sierra for your.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Did say donegall? I mean she sounds irish?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Was that Donegahl Dullingham?
- 20:34Speaker 1: I don't know it's awesome any Ireland. I don't know that.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I don't know geography. Sorry, but thank you international recco.
- 20:43Speaker 2: That's right.
- 20:44Speaker 1: We love an international raco.
- 20:45Speaker 2: We do, we do all right. Next one we have
- 20:48Speaker 2: is from Hailey Hely.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Hi B and D. Hailey here calling from a dumpster
- 20:54Speaker 4: in California. Quick disclaimer, these are all my own opinions.
- 21:00Speaker 4: I'm not a doctor, and this does not reflect on
- 21:02Speaker 4: all people with ADHD, so please don't come for me.
- 21:06Speaker 4: I truly, Grace Brown believe Cody is riddled with ADHD.
- 21:11Speaker 4: I could write a whole thesis on this, but we
- 21:14Speaker 4: don't have the time. The procrastination, disorganization, inability to manage money,
- 21:21Speaker 4: and the major rejection sensitivity. The signs are all there.
- 21:26Speaker 4: So it was easy for Robin to come in and
- 21:29Speaker 4: become the favorite because their affair was new and exciting,
- 21:33Speaker 4: giving his brain a flood of dopamine. So he learned
- 21:37Speaker 4: quickly that every day felt like a Sunday with her
- 21:40Speaker 4: because of her. He's my best customer, love bombing mentality.
- 21:45Speaker 4: He doesn't have to deal with the day to day
- 21:47Speaker 4: responsibilities or being held accountable for his shortcomings as a
- 21:52Speaker 4: husband or father at Robin's, so, of course he becomes
- 21:56Speaker 4: disinterested and resentful of the other wives. Granted, I don't
- 22:01Speaker 4: think Robmin is an evil mastermind. She knows how to
- 22:04Speaker 4: manipulate just enough to get her way. I do think
- 22:08Speaker 4: her intention was to sit back and be the favorite,
- 22:11Speaker 4: but it backfired. Let me know what y'all think. Thank you?
- 22:16Speaker 3: Huh.
- 22:16Speaker 1: That's an interesting theory. Yeah, and I can see it.
- 22:20Speaker 1: What do you think I can see it?
- 22:22Speaker 2: It's just it begs the question of like, if he
- 22:25Speaker 2: actually got treatment for ADHD or got medicated for it,
- 22:29Speaker 2: would he be better?
- 22:31Speaker 5: Like?
- 22:31Speaker 2: Would he be more organized? Would he be a better father?
- 22:34Speaker 4: Like?
- 22:35Speaker 2: I don't know, because I feel like his behavior is
- 22:38Speaker 2: deeper than that. I feel like it's more pathological, it's
- 22:42Speaker 2: more self centered, it's more narcissistic than ADHD. But I
- 22:48Speaker 2: can see him being so scattered because he never plans anything.
- 22:51Speaker 2: He's like all over the place.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Well, Maddie said in this last episode, like Cody Brown
- 22:56Speaker 1: likes to say things, but he doesn't know how to
- 22:59Speaker 1: do things exactly. Yeah, are folks with ADHD, and I'm
- 23:03Speaker 1: asking the wider audience, are they predisposed to limerence? Limerence
- 23:09Speaker 1: is a tendency to become infatuated or like like loving
- 23:13Speaker 1: the process of falling in love and being infatuated, and
- 23:16Speaker 1: then like as soon as it starts to get real though,
- 23:19Speaker 1: and you know, you start to have schedules and you
- 23:20Speaker 1: got kids now, and you get a job in a
- 23:22Speaker 1: nine to five, and like then you kind of start
- 23:25Speaker 1: getting disinterested and looking for limerens or infatuation and other relationships.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I'm wondering, and it does beg the question if so,
- 23:32Speaker 1: Like if what Cody experienced as a result of potential
- 23:36Speaker 1: ADHD with Robin, which was limerens and infatuation and she
- 23:40Speaker 1: was also love bombing because she's a narc, Like, would
- 23:43Speaker 1: he be vulnerable to falling into infatuations with other people?
- 23:49Speaker 1: Because the way it strikes me now is that he's
- 23:52Speaker 1: over it, Like he's picked his woman. He's not going
- 23:56Speaker 1: to go out there and look for anybody else. He
- 23:58Speaker 1: is choosing to be a minist. But like, is he
- 24:01Speaker 1: predisposed through something like ADHD too, potentially falling in love
- 24:06Speaker 1: with another woman which he might be able to talk
- 24:09Speaker 1: himself into because of the framework of ligamy.
- 24:13Speaker 2: That's very interesting. I mean, if he still like subscribes
- 24:16Speaker 2: to polygamy, or if he's just like, I've found my woman.
- 24:19Speaker 2: She break dances enough for me, I'm good with her,
- 24:22Speaker 2: that is an interesting theory. Let us know below people
- 24:25Speaker 2: who are ADHD experts, because we're not.
- 24:28Speaker 1: But I really resonate with what you're saying about there
- 24:33Speaker 1: being a deeper pathology there, because if he was medicated,
- 24:36Speaker 1: like the medication doesn't give you the capacity to love
- 24:39Speaker 1: and nurture, right, It's got to be their inherent or
- 24:42Speaker 1: intrinsic inside of you. Yeah, So like there's something deeper, darker,
- 24:47Speaker 1: blacker inside of him that causes him to be this malignant.
- 24:51Speaker 1: I mean, and he doesn't see himself to be that way, right,
- 24:55Speaker 1: but this is what he is doing to his family.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Well, And also there's another question to be asked of,
- 25:01Speaker 2: like can anybody really realistically manage like all of these
- 25:06Speaker 2: relationships and like all of these charity members and like
- 25:09Speaker 2: all these houses and all these finances, Like can somebody
- 25:11Speaker 2: realistically manage all of these accounts without having like ADHD?
- 25:16Speaker 2: Like is he just not able to manage all of
- 25:18Speaker 2: this stuff because he took on too much, he bit
- 25:21Speaker 2: off more than he could chew. Or does he have
- 25:25Speaker 2: like an attention issue or deficit issue or is he
- 25:29Speaker 2: just a flaming narcissist, self centered piece of shit?
- 25:32Speaker 1: But these are the questions we ask from our perch
- 25:35Speaker 1: and the dumpster.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah, so let us know below if you guys think
- 25:38Speaker 2: he's got ADHD or something else, or if he's possessed
- 25:40Speaker 2: by a demon or yeah, let us know your theories.
- 25:44Speaker 2: And thank you Hayley for posing that interesting question.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Very very much, so thank you.
- 25:49Speaker 2: All right, next one we have is a two parter.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Ok but it's just like some random points here and there.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Her name is Yesmin, Yes man, it's pretty Hello.
- 26:00Speaker 5: My name is Yasmin. I'm from a dumpster in Sydney, Australia.
- 26:04Speaker 5: The worst dumpster ever. Love you guys. Absolutely hilarious regarding
- 26:11Speaker 5: Sister Wives, just in general, just the general Sister Wives rubbish. Now,
- 26:18Speaker 5: when we started watching it years and years ago, I
- 26:20Speaker 5: would say to my husband, Oh God, I reckon, we
- 26:22Speaker 5: could live polygamy like this is great? Is children? Everyone
- 26:26Speaker 5: pitching in obviously hotter women. It's a toddle women as
- 26:29Speaker 5: the first wife, and my husband was like.
- 26:32Speaker 9: No, man, never doing that, And I now agree with him.
- 26:36Speaker 9: No way, absolutely no way. There is absolutely no way
- 26:40Speaker 9: this could this lifestyle is doable.
- 26:43Speaker 5: Really Yeah, just some thoughts.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Well, And it's the age old question that we've been
- 26:50Speaker 1: asking on this podcast, like, is there an actual viable
- 26:55Speaker 1: example of a polygamist marriage that has been healthy, well
- 26:59Speaker 1: adjusted and successful. I mean, I know we've had weirdos
- 27:03Speaker 1: out here, like the Dargers presenting themselves as a working
- 27:06Speaker 1: relationship that makes sense for everybody, but I don't believe it.
- 27:08Speaker 1: He seems to be toxic, militant, weirdo, and those sisters
- 27:12Speaker 1: are very bizarre as well. So, like, is there an
- 27:14Speaker 1: example where polygamy works personally?
- 27:17Speaker 2: Beatrice?
- 27:18Speaker 1: I could never, Oh, Like, I could never. Like if
- 27:21Speaker 1: it was a dystopian post apocalyptic like we had to
- 27:24Speaker 1: be in a community, we all had to get along
- 27:26Speaker 1: and share resources. I still couldn't share my man. If
- 27:30Speaker 1: it was only one man, it was my man, we
- 27:32Speaker 1: just a bunch of raccoon women around, I'd have.
- 27:34Speaker 8: To kill them all.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Don't look at that man.
- 27:36Speaker 4: No, absolutely that.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I could never share. I am very torrian I'm pretty territorial,
- 27:42Speaker 1: but I think that's most women.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh for sure, could you share? I'm gonna, I always
- 27:47Speaker 2: say to them, I'm like, if your daughter ever cheats
- 27:49Speaker 2: on me, I'm killing her and killing you. Why gotta
- 27:53Speaker 2: be me?
- 27:54Speaker 8: What did I do?
- 27:56Speaker 2: If nobody nobody can have you? Nobody can have you?
- 28:00Speaker 2: It's just me right, Like, I'm.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Like, that's very sick of you. Well I know that though, right,
- 28:05Speaker 1: I mean there are people for.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Legal reasons, this is a joke, but I I'm like,
- 28:11Speaker 2: so territorial too, you, Like, I just can't imagine a
- 28:13Speaker 2: world where I would be okay sharing my wife, and
- 28:17Speaker 2: she can't imagine a world where she'd be sharing me either.
- 28:20Speaker 2: That's fucking weird. Yeah, but I do agree with the
- 28:23Speaker 2: Yasmin sentiment. Like early in the seasons, like before all
- 28:27Speaker 2: of this stuff came out, before everybody started breaking up,
- 28:30Speaker 2: I could see a world where maybe this could kind
- 28:33Speaker 2: of work, like where the women are like raising all
- 28:35Speaker 2: of the children and they're sharing all of the resources.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Like yeah, maybe that sounds good on paper, but like
- 28:41Speaker 2: actually in practice and like sharing the man because it's
- 28:45Speaker 2: not just it's not polyamory where everybody's fucking and sucking
- 28:49Speaker 2: each other. It's polygamy where you're sharing one man and
- 28:54Speaker 2: then you have to like wait for the man to
- 28:56Speaker 2: give you his time and his peepy, Like I can't imagine.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Furthermore, I mean, we're just listening to with her name
- 29:02Speaker 1: Haley right before he was talking about Cody having potentially
- 29:06Speaker 1: ADHD and having to manage all of this, Like I
- 29:08Speaker 1: really think in polygamy and in the system of this religion,
- 29:12Speaker 1: like it's up to the women though, to organize all that,
- 29:14Speaker 1: oh for sure, and to like figure out like where
- 29:16Speaker 1: how the money is being spent and the kids going
- 29:19Speaker 1: to school and appointments for this and that. Like I
- 29:21Speaker 1: don't feel like the husband is out there trying to
- 29:23Speaker 1: manage all these different things. The husband is relying on
- 29:27Speaker 1: the women to do so. And so for that reason,
- 29:30Speaker 1: I don't think something like polygamy is attractive to men
- 29:33Speaker 1: or Yasmin's husband or my husband. He's exhausted by me
- 29:37Speaker 1: and I, you know, it's like and I get it.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I can't even imagine there being two of me having
- 29:41Speaker 1: to put up with that and it would be like
- 29:43Speaker 1: absolutely a nightmare, and or the fact that there would
- 29:46Speaker 1: be another woman and I would have to share my
- 29:48Speaker 1: kitchen with that person. Absolutely kidding me? Are you kidding me?
- 29:51Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. I can't even deal with your daughter
- 29:54Speaker 2: being in the kitchen. Yeah, when I'm cooking, I'm like,
- 29:55Speaker 2: why are you here?
- 29:57Speaker 1: My this is my sector and you're not allowed into
- 30:00Speaker 1: this space. Get out, Like when you're looking at a
- 30:03Speaker 1: family like the Dargers that are actually sharing a kitchen,
- 30:06Speaker 1: like the Brown women are like, we can't do this.
- 30:08Speaker 1: It's absolutely just a non starter.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Yeah, like the Doggers.
- 30:11Speaker 1: And I think a lot of these polygamous women do
- 30:13Speaker 1: share sometimes these multiple spaces, and I'm like, I could
- 30:15Speaker 1: never do I.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Mean, you gotta share your man and all those spaces
- 30:18Speaker 2: in the kitchen, so I could never be me No, And.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I just personally, in my body, in my mind, in
- 30:25Speaker 1: my butt, I just don't see how this can actually work.
- 30:28Speaker 1: And I get it in the Old Testament, like King
- 30:30Speaker 1: David had many wives and everything, but like he was
- 30:32Speaker 1: also a king, he could afford it.
- 30:33Speaker 2: And that's why it's the Old Testament.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I know, just everybody died. Yeah, God came in and
- 30:37Speaker 1: killed everybody, like the women were also killing every Everybody's
- 30:40Speaker 1: killing everybody. Like I just don't see how it would work.
- 30:43Speaker 1: But I also speak from a place of ignorance, and
- 30:45Speaker 1: I acknowledge that like I am not polyamorous, I am
- 30:48Speaker 1: not polygamous, so I am not a part of that life,
- 30:51Speaker 1: and so I really don't know if or how it
- 30:54Speaker 1: can work. I just doubt it, that's all. I doubt it.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I yes, men, I agree. You'll know more of
- 30:58Speaker 2: my thoughts when we start recapping Parly family.
- 31:01Speaker 1: We're gonna have to try and keep you together.
- 31:03Speaker 2: We're gonna have to keep it together.
- 31:05Speaker 1: But thank you, Yasmin International Racer.
- 31:08Speaker 2: She's got another roo. Oh sorry, another message.
- 31:11Speaker 5: It's Yasmin again from Sydney, Australia. I also would like
- 31:16Speaker 5: to just voice my opinion on m Chelt and Gwendolen.
- 31:23Speaker 5: Can't stand them too, the absolute worst, horrible, horrible, horror women.
- 31:29Speaker 5: Never liked Leon, horrible person. Who else don't I like?
- 31:36Speaker 5: Most of the kids are basically horrible. Isabelle's good, Christine's
- 31:41Speaker 5: older one, oh gosh, what's her name? I don't know
- 31:44Speaker 5: if she's got weird names for our kids? Yeah, horrible,
- 31:49Speaker 5: all of them. The boys actually turned out good, but
- 31:52Speaker 5: other than that, yeah, not great. Honestly, Yeah, that's about it.
- 31:58Speaker 5: Just thought i'd let you know who are constant Why bye.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Bye, horrible all of them. It's weird though, that a
- 32:09Speaker 1: lot of the daughters, not all of them obviously, but
- 32:14Speaker 1: a lot of the daughters are a little odd.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Well because they're most of them are Christine's. Yeah, like Gwendolyn.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I love Savannah, Savannah.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Leah, She's sweet.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Is Janelle's child. I mean, Maddie's a little bit of
- 32:29Speaker 1: a firecracker, and yeah, she pops off at the mouth,
- 32:32Speaker 1: but I personally love that.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and I don't mind her at all.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I think she's I think she seems great. But like,
- 32:37Speaker 1: there are some of these kids, and I think she
- 32:41Speaker 1: mentioned all of them pretty much, michel one being the
- 32:44Speaker 1: worst offender, terrible. I saw her in the preview for
- 32:47Speaker 1: the Valentines next week, and I'm just like, why.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Why is she bad? Why am I seeing her again?
- 32:54Speaker 2: Because she wants to make that TLC money.
- 32:56Speaker 1: I can't stand it.
- 32:58Speaker 2: I can't.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And then she went and moved North Carolina so she
- 33:01Speaker 1: could be around Janelle and the tato farms and all that.
- 33:04Speaker 7: I don't want to say you ever again.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Go away unless you're gonna start talking shit on your
- 33:10Speaker 2: Patreon so we can watch it. I don't want to
- 33:13Speaker 2: hear anything from you. Yeah, you're just a grifter like
- 33:15Speaker 2: your mom's.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Yeah, like many, many, many moms.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Seriously.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I think Aspen's pretty great. That's yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 1: because we don't hear much Christine's. Yeah, she's turned into
- 33:26Speaker 1: kind of like somebody who sits back and observes, which
- 33:29Speaker 1: I think is a very wise position to take, unlike mckelty's.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Just like.
- 33:34Speaker 1: I want to be in the middle of the I
- 33:36Speaker 1: would be centered at all times like Aspen, just like
- 33:38Speaker 1: ew shut up, Michelty, and I relate to that.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I think.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Truly is pretty cool. I mean, yeah, we don't really
- 33:45Speaker 1: see a ton from Truly, like fourteen quirky, and I
- 33:49Speaker 1: have a lot of hope for her, but like, there
- 33:50Speaker 1: are a lot of annoying personalities and also Leon spoiled.
- 33:56Speaker 1: You cannot get me to like Leon. Yeah, I'm sorry,
- 33:59Speaker 1: I just yeah, I don't like Leo.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Yeah, spoiled. Sorry, annoying, Yeah, sorry about that. And Gwendolyn, Yes, illinoying,
- 34:08Speaker 2: what's up with that? I don't know.
- 34:10Speaker 1: That's why I say I want to I want to
- 34:12Speaker 1: get their astrological charts too, because I would really like
- 34:15Speaker 1: to have that information.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I'll try and look up their sun signs. At least I.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Would love to know. But I'm just like Gwenolyn.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Gwendolyn. Yeah, well, I mean, let's remember, all of these
- 34:27Speaker 2: kids have Cody in them. Yeah, you know, so unfortunately
- 34:31Speaker 2: they inherited some of those annoying geans.
- 34:34Speaker 1: And we're talking about them because they're adults.
- 34:36Speaker 2: I know, people are.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Don't talk about the kids. Listen, we're talking about thirty
- 34:40Speaker 1: year old Logan or whatever. It's fine to talk about
- 34:42Speaker 1: adult children who choose to put themselves on camera on
- 34:46Speaker 1: a show that we're gonna watch every week. And so
- 34:49Speaker 1: if you're gonna be an adult on a show, I'm
