- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hey friend, welcome back to Bible Tract Echoes.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for tuning in today.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'd like to get practical for just a moment.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to encourage you.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_01]: Do not let fear overwhelm your witness.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_01]: Let me say it this way.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_01]: You can't be a sophomore until you are a freshman.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: I realize this statement is kind of remedial, a little bit obvious, but it's true.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: The reason I point out something that's so apparent is that I want to correlate this concept to using traps.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_01]: You cannot pass out a second tract until you pass out your first.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: As you hear these words, you may be part of the large majority of Christians that have never used an evangelistic tool like a tract.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: maybe there's fear, maybe there's a little bit of, I don't know if I can do that, maybe it's a lack of confidence, maybe for you to even consider a quote unquote being confrontational, you would be absolutely scared stiff by that concept.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: Can I be transparent?
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes I feel that way too.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: For instance, I was recently at the Chicago O'Hare Airport waiting in line because of a canceled flight.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: Got to love that.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: I struck up a conversation with the people in front of the two ladies and they were trying to reach the same destination but none of us was going to get anywhere anytime soon.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: That flight was canceled, and then there were no flights, no seats available on the next two days worth of flights.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: But as we talked for just a moment, we had a good rapport, and I knew I knew I should give them a track before we partied ways.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: We would never see each other again.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's see, I don't lose a secret.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: I was just a little gunshot.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: It took me a moment.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: I had tracks on me, praise Lord, I had them on me, you can't give them out if you don't have them on you, right?
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: But it took me a moment to muster up to courage to hand them attract.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: But thankfully, thankfully, I obeyed the spiritual impulse and because I had tracks on me, I gave them a track.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: You'll never hand out your first track, if you don't have them available.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: And you most certainly won't hand out your sanket until you hand out your first.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where our ministry like BTI, Bible tracks and corporate, that's where we come into the picture.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: We produce and ship millions of tracks worldwide every year for free.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: You can go to bibletracksink.org to order some for yourself today.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: Now, as we switch gears just a little bit, I'm gonna take a moment.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: This may be something that becomes a little bit of a recurring segment.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't mean weekly or even monthly, but maybe once every three months or so, I'm gonna give you a few books that I may, that I would recommend that you can sit or picking up.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: They say readers are leaders and all that.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: I encourage you to be
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: a reader.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: I've heard someone say, someone said this when I was a teenager, the only difference between you and you five years from now are the people you meet in the books you read.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_01]: So, of course, at the challenge to surround ourselves with a right kind of people, but also to read the right kind of books and
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: I enjoy reading.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: I read a lot as a child, and so I might even call myself a bibliophile, a person who collects or has a great love of books.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: I read actually over 50 books in 2025, and I started out this year pretty strong.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: I actually developed a love for reading because of my mom, Ruth McCree.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think she...
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: Probably lit the flame of my passion for books when I was just a small child.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: Curled up in bed and before I could read for myself, she opened this distance and introduced me to worlds obtainable only within the printed page.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: This almost feels like an anecdote for another world, but because we lived on a relatively safe military base, my parents allowed me to pedal to the library by myself before I was even a teenager if you can believe that.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: The Hardy Boys and Tom Plancy, kept me company as I read by the Globe of Flashlight, deep into each night.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: One of the few ways my parents could actually get my attention was to quote unquote ground me from books when I deserved punishment.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: I always had an emergency stash they didn't know about under my bed for just such an occasion.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: I guess that's rebellion at work, but such is the case.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: I love reading to this day.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: I hope you do as well.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: If you need a book recommendation for your first book or your first book in a long time,
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: consider this short list.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: First, a book titled Atomic Habits.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: Atomic Habits by James Clear.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: This book is a wonderful reminder of the incredible power of repeated small actions.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: One of my favorite quotes from this book goes something like this.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: The first mistake is never the one that ruins you.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: It is the spiral of repeated mistakes that follows, missing once is an accident, missing twice is the start of a new habit.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'd recommend atomic habits for me.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: I endeavor to read it at least every other year.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: Normally, I try to read it once a year.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I'm just about finished re-reading it again this year.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: So I'd encourage you to pick that one up.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: Another one, a short one, a tale of three kings, a tale of three kings by Gene Edwards.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: You know, by turns, I can identify with all three men portrayed in this beautifully written short book, and here's a powerful quote to consider.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: Better he kill me than I'd learn his ways.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: better he kill me than I become as he is.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: I shall not practice the ways that cause kings to go mad.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, it's talking about Saul and David and Absalom.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: I recommend a tale of three kings.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: Then by Bill Walsh and Steve Jamison, the score takes care of itself.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: Bill Walsh, one of the most
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: And just a titan in the National Football League, I've read numerous books on leadership and there may be many others I could recommend to you and I probably will in the coming days, but this one in particular was dripping with truth after truth.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: Consider he says this, someone will declare, I am the leader.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: and expect everyone to get in line and follow him or her to the gates of heaven or hell.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: My experience is that it doesn't happen that way.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: Unless you're guard on a chain gang, others follow you based on the quality of your actions, rather than the magnitude of your declarations.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if you already enjoy reading, I'd love to hear from you.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm building my reading list for the end of 2026 and my goal is actually 60 books this year.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see if I get there and not.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'd love to include a few of your suggestions.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: Is there one or two or three books that you couldn't live without on a deserted island?
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: Tell me about it.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: You can contact me by text at 3-0-9, 3-1-6-7-2-4-0, that's 3-0-9, 3-1-6-7-2-4-0.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: I've got a lot of books to get through, but I'd love to add your book to the pile.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: So let me know.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: You can also text email me at micahabibaltrexing.org
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: at bibletracksink.ho.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: RG, I look forward to hearing from you.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of my mom, fanning the flames of my love for reading, we have a gospel track written by Paul Levine.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: He wrote this many years ago.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's titled Attribute to Mother.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: We actually made a short film, just with some concepts from the gospel tract that maybe you'd like to show in your church or something like that.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's titled Attribute to Mother.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: It beautifully honors the godly life of his dear mom, hold up, living, and in this touching tribute, Dr. Paul focuses on his mother's love and dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: We also recently produced that gospel film I mentioned, it's an additional tool for you surround Mother's Day and consider, maybe showing it during a church service on Mother's Day or sharing it with a friend, you can find the film using the link BibleTracksink.org-slash-mother.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: If you want me to send that link to you, shoot me a text 309, 316720.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: And though they are great year round, these tools would be ideal for Christians to use in the day is leading up to Mother's Day.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: A tribute to Mother's emphasizes the significant influence all moms can have on their children.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: And as Paul Divine states, the only way you can be the mother you should be is to receive the Lord Jesus and trust Him to forgive your sins and give you eternal life.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: I realize we have just a little while until mothers, they would not put it off.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: You can order these tracks for free at bibletracksing.org if you'd like us to customize them with your church information we can do that as well.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: If you order soon you should receive them in time to use well before Mother's Day.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: And we also have a shareable digital version of a tribute to mother.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's available at mom.realbibalancers.com, mom.realbibalancers.com, maybe consider posting that link on social media or sending it directly to someone who would be encouraged by this gospel message.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: We try to
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: have as many tools available as possible to reach people with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate so much, the fact that you had tuned in today.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: We've only got just a couple minutes remaining.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: But I encourage you, maybe today.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: You need to get practical about your use of gospel tracks and the fear that you have to share gospel tracks Maybe today you need to pick up a good book.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe one of those recommendations I gave you maybe today You need to go to bibletracksing.org maybe it's been a long time since you've ordered tracks We give them away for free.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_01]: Do you believe that?
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: We've been doing so for over eight decades.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: We'd love to send some to you today, BibleTrackSink.org.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: If you have any questions, comments, critiques, criticisms, feel free to reach out to me.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: You can text me at 309-316-720, that's 309-316-116-116-116-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016-016

- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: He works on staff here at BTI.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: He designs for us as a wonderful job.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: His name's Ethan.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: I asked him to write a little article for our latest newsletter, I'm gonna share that with you.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: He has an ability with design and making an impact visually that I can't scratch the surface of.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_01]: We are blessed to have him on staff, but I ask you to tune in tomorrow as we hear from my brother, Ethan.
