- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, guys, we are back on normal like the show
- 0:04Speaker 1: with normalish takes for when the news gets weird. It's
- 0:07Speaker 1: weird this week already. How's it going, Carol, I'm maryam sorry.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Him, Mary Catherine, I'm Carol Markowitz. Yeah, you know, coming
- 0:17Speaker 2: out of a hard weekend. An attack in Boulder, Colorado
- 0:22Speaker 2: on Jews who were protesting for the release of the hostages.
- 0:26Speaker 2: In Gaza, a man was filmed setting Jewish.
- 0:29Speaker 3: People on fire.
- 0:31Speaker 2: They marched there every week, and this march actually happens
- 0:34Speaker 2: in lots of places. I have a friend who participates
- 0:37Speaker 2: in this march every week in North Carolina, so this
- 0:40Speaker 2: certainly does seem premeditated. This guy was ready to go
- 0:45Speaker 2: with some gardening equipment that he had fashioned as a
- 0:48Speaker 2: Molotov cocktail. I'll also say I haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere,
- 0:53Speaker 2: but these are almost certainly once again piece necks. These
- 0:57Speaker 2: are people who I bet if you talk to them,
- 0:59Speaker 2: they all on a twesday solution. They just want the
- 1:03Speaker 2: hostages released. I would bet the farm that they're all
- 1:06Speaker 2: Peacenicks and peace nick adjacent and that once again they're
- 1:11Speaker 2: the ones being targeted for harm because they were you know,
- 1:15Speaker 2: the kind of people that wouldn't be carrying weapons. They
- 1:18Speaker 2: were the kind of people that wouldn't be able to
- 1:19Speaker 2: fight back, and so that's what happened. In Colorado.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Eight people were injured, mostly with burns Onlookers and others
- 1:27Speaker 1: at the site were, you know, grabbing water from the
- 1:30Speaker 1: municipal fountain to douse them with until medical attention got there.
- 1:35Speaker 1: The suspect is forty five year old Mohammed Savarei Solimon,
- 1:38Speaker 1: and he was yelling free Palestine and other very obvious
- 1:43Speaker 1: indications of motive while he was doing this crime. Although
- 1:48Speaker 1: shortly afterwards, despite this, the Boulder police were like, let's
- 1:52Speaker 1: not get ahead of ourselves, un native right, And CNN's
- 1:56Speaker 1: broadcast was like, isn't it a little much for Cash
- 1:59Speaker 1: Betel and the FBI to jump to this conclusion?
- 2:01Speaker 3: And I would like to say, no, it's not at
- 2:03Speaker 3: all too much. It's not because he's on video, right,
- 2:05Speaker 3: he's on video.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I'll also say that the response from the Trump administration
- 2:13Speaker 2: and law enforcement has been exactly what I, as a
- 2:17Speaker 2: Jew living in America, would like to see. The federal
- 2:20Speaker 2: government has charged Mohammed Salomon with a hate crime, with
- 2:24Speaker 2: more charges to potentially follow They're not waiting to see
- 2:27Speaker 2: what the Boulder police.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Is going to charge him with.
- 2:29Speaker 2: They took action on their own. FBI Deputy Director Dan
- 2:33Speaker 2: Bengino tweeted, we are investigating this incident as an act
- 2:36Speaker 2: of terror and targeted violence. All of the necessary assets
- 2:39Speaker 2: will be dedicated to this investigation. Trump truthed in capital
- 2:44Speaker 2: letters that the attacks will not be tolerated. And so
- 2:47Speaker 2: what I've said for years and years, because attacks on
- 2:50Speaker 2: Jews have been going on for I mean more than
- 2:53Speaker 2: a decade, fairly regularly in places like Brooklyn, New York.
- 2:56Speaker 3: And what I would always say.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Ignored by the press. You have you have done a
- 3:00Speaker 1: good job of highlighting them. They're ignored by the press
- 3:03Speaker 1: unless they can blame it on a right leaning person.
- 3:07Speaker 2: That's absolutely right. So what I would say about it
- 3:09Speaker 2: is what I would always write about attacks like this
- 3:12Speaker 2: or in any antismatic incidents, is it's always going to happen.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I guess that's how I sort of see it. But
- 3:19Speaker 2: it's the reaction from authorities and from the people that
- 3:24Speaker 2: matters to me. Like a lot of times in France,
- 3:27Speaker 2: for example, they'll have anti Semitic attacks and they'll be
- 3:30Speaker 2: very shoulder shruggy. The reaction from the Trump administration from
- 3:34Speaker 2: the top down has been exactly what I wanted to see.
- 3:36Speaker 2: This is what I voted for.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Well, and like as in the past, if you see
- 3:42Speaker 1: like Charlottesville or Tree of Life, like these things. As
- 3:44Speaker 1: long as they the culprit is correct, Yeah, they can
- 3:49Speaker 1: make a big deal out of it. They can make
- 3:50Speaker 1: this a nationally known incident. And the Trump administration responding
- 3:55Speaker 1: in this way goes a long way to making this
- 3:58Speaker 1: one a memorable incident, which is what needs to happen.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Our friend Agie Hamilton on Twitter noted that and I
- 4:09Speaker 1: had almost already forgotten about this one, that Governor Shapiro's
- 4:14Speaker 1: men was attacked with the intent to hurt and kill
- 4:18Speaker 1: his family just in the last two months, and now
- 4:21Speaker 1: we've got the two young people tragically murdered on the
- 4:26Speaker 1: streets of Washington, DC, And now we've got this.
- 4:29Speaker 3: By the way, Bill Mlusion.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I think, was first to report that this is an
- 4:32Speaker 1: illegal immigrant. He's an Egyptian who was let in on
- 4:36Speaker 1: a tourist visa which expired. He later applied for asylum.
- 4:41Speaker 1: It was granted at some point, but that has also expired,
- 4:46Speaker 1: and he's just hanging out molotov cocktailing Jews in the streets.
- 4:50Speaker 4: That's right.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And so what I would also say is that I
- 4:53Speaker 2: am concerned about leftist violence, not just aimed at Jews.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I think that Americans who are not Jewish, Americans who
- 5:01Speaker 2: don't care about Israel one way or the other, should
- 5:04Speaker 2: take very seriously what's happening here, because this, to me
- 5:07Speaker 2: seems like the beginning. It seems like this could easily spread.
- 5:12Speaker 2: We see the Luigi Mangioni becoming a hero after killing
- 5:16Speaker 2: a healthcare executive in the street. If you get to
- 5:19Speaker 2: kill whoever you don't like on the streets of America,
- 5:23Speaker 2: believe me, this will not end with Jews. And I
- 5:26Speaker 2: think people need to understand that well.
- 5:28Speaker 3: And I haven't forgotten the summer of twenty twenty.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Hm.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It was just all out whatever you were up for
- 5:35Speaker 1: because you were ticked off. You could destroy businesses, you
- 5:39Speaker 1: could hurt people, people died, you could attack people in
- 5:42Speaker 1: those autonomous zones. That's right, assaults and sexual assaults happen regularly,
- 5:49Speaker 1: and all of that was sort of deemed the cost
- 5:52Speaker 1: of doing business because America needed to pay for it.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Since and that is what far too many people on
- 5:58Speaker 1: the left belief and they are willing to put up
- 6:01Speaker 1: with and even celebrate in some cases, as.
- 6:03Speaker 3: We see with Luigi Mangioni.
- 6:05Speaker 1: It's very creepy. It's some of the more disturbing stuff
- 6:10Speaker 1: that I see. Sulomon, by the way, was interviewed and
- 6:15Speaker 1: said that this is Bill millusion of Fox reporting again.
- 6:18Speaker 1: So he wants to kill all Zionist people, So you
- 6:21Speaker 1: can imagine how many people he could put in that category.
- 6:23Speaker 1: He allegedly told investigators that he waited to carry out
- 6:26Speaker 1: the attack until his daughter graduated high school, and then
- 6:28Speaker 1: he specifically targeted the Zionist group in Boulder after learning
- 6:31Speaker 1: about them from an online search. It was premeditated. They
- 6:35Speaker 1: found a black container with fourteen more Molotov cocktails near
- 6:38Speaker 1: the spot where he was arrested. Inside his vehicle, investigators
- 6:41Speaker 1: found paperwork with the words Israel, Palestine and USAID.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Because this is to.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Your point, Carol, it's the Omni cause, right, He's ticked
- 6:49Speaker 1: off at Elon Musk about USAID, so he's got to
- 6:53Speaker 1: attack some peaceful citizens of his city a town square
- 6:58Speaker 1: because of USAID AID cuts.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Sure, yeah, right, it is the Omni cause, and it
- 7:05Speaker 2: could be anything that they want it to be at
- 7:07Speaker 2: any time. So this needs to be put down. I
- 7:10Speaker 2: will say bluntly, I'm amazed that he got to arrest.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I think in certain places I hope that I'm correct
- 7:18Speaker 2: in saying this, but I feel like in Florida that
- 7:20Speaker 2: he does not make it to the police car.
- 7:22Speaker 3: And that's, you know, the way I think it should be.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I think you should be armed, you should protect yourself
- 7:29Speaker 2: and others, and if somebody's throwing molotov cocktails and setting
- 7:32Speaker 2: elderly people on fire, I should hope that somebody is
- 7:36Speaker 2: carrying and able to defend those people.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Yes, this makes me want to see more people armed, absolutely,
- 7:43Speaker 1: and to have plenty of those good guys who are
- 7:47Speaker 1: armed at every exaggeration that might be subject to this
- 7:50Speaker 1: kind of attack.
- 7:51Speaker 2: We'll be right back on normally, what are the Democrats
- 7:58Speaker 2: up to? What are they focused on? Do they are
- 8:02Speaker 2: they changing their perspective on trans athletes?
- 8:06Speaker 1: Well, you'll remember, Carol that we covered Gavin Newsom saying yeah,
- 8:11Speaker 1: this really isn't fair because he's doing his big switch
- 8:14Speaker 1: to attract the normies, right and so on podcasts. He's
- 8:18Speaker 1: happy to say this seems bad, but when it comes
- 8:21Speaker 1: to the actual policies of the state of California, he
- 8:25Speaker 1: has not put his foot down. The federal government, via
- 8:30Speaker 1: executive order from Trump has said, hey, you guys have
- 8:32Speaker 1: to follow Title nine or else you will lose your funds.
- 8:35Speaker 1: And Title nine means respecting women's sports and women's spaces,
- 8:39Speaker 1: not just the competition but the locker rooms. And California's like, yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 1: but we have like our super crazy laws and we
- 8:46Speaker 1: have to do those. And so right now you have
- 8:49Speaker 1: a big fight that sort of culminated in the state
- 8:51Speaker 1: championship in Clovis, California, with this track and field athlete
- 8:56Speaker 1: ab Hernandez, who is a boy who identifies as a girl,
- 9:01Speaker 1: and the state High School Association tried to make sort
- 9:04Speaker 1: of last minute changes to attempt to comply with the
- 9:08Speaker 1: Trump administration or to make everyone happy, and they said
- 9:11Speaker 1: basically like we're not going to take anything from any
- 9:14Speaker 1: of the women athletes, Like this guy is going to
- 9:17Speaker 1: get to compete, he's going to end up first place
- 9:20Speaker 1: in a couple of categories or something or whatever, but
- 9:22Speaker 1: then we're just going to add the women who would
- 9:25Speaker 1: otherwise have gotten those and they'll also get it. So
- 9:28Speaker 1: it's like they're twisting themselves in knots to satisfy one athlete,
- 9:34Speaker 1: Aby Hernandez, in this particular state, in these events. And
- 9:40Speaker 1: it won't surprise you, Carol, to know that Aby Hernandez,
- 9:43Speaker 1: it turns out, was a was quite successful this week.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Hernandez took first place in the girl's triple jump, tied
- 9:50Speaker 1: for first place in the girl's high jump, and got
- 9:52Speaker 1: second place in the girl's long jump. Yes, that's right,
- 9:56Speaker 1: reports National Review. The California state girls champion in the
- 9:59Speaker 1: high and triple jump is a boy. It's quite obvious
- 10:04Speaker 1: when you look at this competitor that he has a
- 10:08Speaker 1: lot of advantages. In fact, you know, finished inches and
- 10:13Speaker 1: inches ahead.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Close.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:17Speaker 3: No, his mom is.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Doing me, doing the the all the rounds with the
- 10:22Speaker 1: media and then saying, no, one's respecting my child's privacy.
- 10:27Speaker 1: The mom of one of the other would be winners says,
- 10:31Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with trans people. I have
- 10:33Speaker 1: a problem with boys competing with girls, and I don't
- 10:35Speaker 1: think it's fair. It is uncomfortable knowing that there's a
- 10:38Speaker 1: man on the field that she's competing against, and knowing
- 10:40Speaker 1: that the playing field is not equal. It does I
- 10:43Speaker 1: think affect their confidence, and I think it affects their
- 10:45Speaker 1: demeanor out on the field.
- 10:48Speaker 2: How could he not how it affect them?
- 10:51Speaker 3: And it's very obvious. He's tall, he's broad, he has
- 10:55Speaker 3: narrow hips, he has very obvious muscles. He is taller
- 10:58Speaker 3: than most of the girls out there.
- 11:02Speaker 1: In his triple jump, he finished almost ten inches further
- 11:05Speaker 1: right than saw that, Like, come.
- 11:09Speaker 2: On, yeah, it's so galling. This this whole idea of
- 11:14Speaker 2: are they better?
- 11:15Speaker 5: Are they?
- 11:17Speaker 2: Is there something intrinsically more athletic about men than women?
- 11:21Speaker 3: What could it be?
- 11:22Speaker 6: You know?
- 11:23Speaker 7: Yes, there is?
- 11:23Speaker 1: Actually, this is the new line from the left is
- 11:26Speaker 1: there haven't been enough studies for us to really know.
- 11:30Speaker 1: And this to me really echoes the COVID insanity. Or
- 11:34Speaker 1: it was like knowledge that was previously had and universally understood,
- 11:41Speaker 1: like that babies and children need to see faces to
- 11:44Speaker 1: learn how to communicate with other humans. That knowledge was
- 11:47Speaker 1: discarded and we pretended that we had never had it,
- 11:50Speaker 1: right and then and then people like the American Academy
- 11:52Speaker 1: of Pediatrics are like, we don't have any evidence that
- 11:56Speaker 1: it affects speech.
- 11:56Speaker 3: If you come, no, we don't know. We don't have
- 11:59Speaker 3: enough study for that.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Right, So could needs be on devices all the time?
- 12:03Speaker 3: Who could say? Who could say?
- 12:05Speaker 4: So?
- 12:05Speaker 1: Now, the universally acknowledged truth that we have all understood
- 12:09Speaker 1: for millennia that men are on average, taller, stronger, better
- 12:14Speaker 1: at sports than women, we have to discard that, and
- 12:17Speaker 1: we have to claim we don't have enough studies to
- 12:19Speaker 1: truly understand nuance here, which is what they were getting
- 12:23Speaker 1: into on CNN where Scott Jennings is sparring with a
- 12:27Speaker 1: with his colleague. This is a little over a minute,
- 12:31Speaker 1: but I think the back and forth is worth hearing here.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Science behind this hasn't been studied enough or talked about
- 12:37Speaker 1: enough for us to make a real full opinion.
- 12:39Speaker 3: I do agree girls sports are for girls.
- 12:41Speaker 8: You said this hasn't been studied enough to know that. Look,
- 12:44Speaker 8: we've got millions of years of study. Men and women
- 12:46Speaker 8: are different, and that's why it's unfair to put boys
- 12:49Speaker 8: in girls sports. We don't need it any more biological
- 12:51Speaker 8: studies fundamentally. But do you.
- 12:53Speaker 7: See, genuinely curious, any accommodations that are reasonable? You have
- 12:58Speaker 7: a sixteen year old who want to participate in sports.
- 13:02Speaker 7: In your mind, is there any way that that can happen?
- 13:05Speaker 7: That is fair, of course, have.
- 13:07Speaker 8: The people participate with their own biological sex, boys and
- 13:12Speaker 8: boys sports, girls and girls sports. It's worked for a
- 13:14Speaker 8: very long time in this country.
- 13:15Speaker 4: But it's not.
- 13:16Speaker 3: That's where we are.
- 13:18Speaker 8: So what do you do the country?
- 13:20Speaker 3: But it's not bad anymore? So what do you do
- 13:22Speaker 3: with the twenty percent? Do we ignore them?
- 13:23Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 13:24Speaker 3: Pretty much, it's twenty issue everybody. We have to upend.
- 13:35Speaker 3: We don't have to. The reason why.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Was because I don't think it's fair that you're scaring
- 13:40Speaker 1: people at home thinking that boys are trying to compete
- 13:43Speaker 1: in girls for by the droves and that this is
- 13:46Speaker 1: going to take over.
- 13:46Speaker 3: And you were scaring people at all. It's just not happening.
- 13:52Speaker 2: You know what this reminds me of. Actually, this reminds
- 13:55Speaker 2: me of the Joe Biden cover up. It's like we
- 13:58Speaker 2: all could see what's going on on, but the White
- 14:01Speaker 2: House hasn't told anybody, So how could we know.
- 14:04Speaker 3: How could we know? How could we make right?
- 14:06Speaker 2: So unless they get more studies on this and unless
- 14:09Speaker 2: the twenty percent. Now we're catering to the twenty percent
- 14:12Speaker 2: of the country. Because I recall Obama when after he'd win,
- 14:16Speaker 2: he'd be real happy about his majority and not care
- 14:20Speaker 2: at all what the minority was saying about his policies.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Didn't he say, now, yeah, now the twenty percent really
- 14:27Speaker 2: matters well.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And also you notice that every anchor and Brianna Keeler
- 14:31Speaker 1: was interviewing Julie Hammill, who's done a lot of the
- 14:34Speaker 1: representation of some of these young women and work on
- 14:37Speaker 1: the legal side of this. She was interviewing her, and
- 14:40Speaker 1: both anchors default to only the rights of this one person, right,
- 14:46Speaker 1: like those don't have to be balanced at all. Apparently,
- 14:49Speaker 1: according to them, it doesn't matter that this person is
- 14:52Speaker 1: standing atop the Oh. Yeah, and by the way, he
- 14:57Speaker 1: is welcome to compete in the men's category. Know what
- 15:00Speaker 1: would happen. He wouldn't win. He wouldn't win in the
- 15:03Speaker 1: men's category. So don't think it has quite the rush
- 15:07Speaker 1: that it.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Has to compete with women. By the way, because.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Also, sorry, you don't see this in the reverse.
- 15:12Speaker 3: You do not see.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Biological girls dying to get into biological boy sports. You
- 15:17Speaker 2: don't see you know, trans men, right, trans men trying
- 15:22Speaker 2: to get into men's sports.
- 15:23Speaker 3: You just don't see it. You know why, because they
- 15:24Speaker 3: wouldn't win, right, because you end up being the worst player,
- 15:30Speaker 3: like you're sitting on the pine.
- 15:33Speaker 1: By the way, I just want to note that female
- 15:35Speaker 1: athletes also lost to men in the end of season
- 15:39Speaker 1: sort of championship part of the season in Maine, Oregon,
- 15:44Speaker 1: and Washington and then California.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Of course, is the one we are noting.
- 15:49Speaker 1: As Julie Hammill points out, you have to follow Title
- 15:54Speaker 1: nine like this isn't even a trump thing. Title nine
- 15:57Speaker 1: has been the law for a long time. They twisted
- 16:00Speaker 1: it during the Biden administration to cover men and women,
- 16:05Speaker 1: which doesn't protect women at all. In Oregon, two girls
- 16:11Speaker 1: who had to compete against a boy in the high
- 16:13Speaker 1: jump refused to step on the podium. That was their protest.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Good they were punished by a man. A male official
- 16:20Speaker 1: comes over and tells them to leave, and they were
- 16:23Speaker 1: sent to the sidelines because even their silent and appropriate
- 16:27Speaker 1: and polite protest cannot be cannot be countenanced in the
- 16:32Speaker 1: face of the rights of these young men who just
- 16:34Speaker 1: desperately must beat them.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Yeah must.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Also we have the story of Algerian boxer who was
- 16:43Speaker 2: obvious again to anybody who had eyes, that it was
- 16:48Speaker 2: this boxer was a man. Was competing in the female category.
- 16:53Speaker 2: There was this ongoing lie that he was intersex, which
- 16:58Speaker 2: is really another galling thing about this. It's like, we
- 17:02Speaker 2: can see, we know what we're looking at, Like, don't
- 17:05Speaker 2: lie to us. And so there was a leak a
- 17:08Speaker 2: few days ago where the Algerian boxer in mon Khalif
- 17:14Speaker 2: this thing leaked that says that a blood test confirmed
- 17:19Speaker 2: that he is in fact male.
- 17:22Speaker 1: So this was a blood test administered by the International
- 17:25Speaker 1: Boxing Association in twenty twenty three that had been rumored
- 17:30Speaker 1: as this person was entering the Olympics, and everyone was saying,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I think this guy's been flagged before and the Olympics
- 17:36Speaker 1: because we've reached a point in our sort of international
- 17:40Speaker 1: leftism that we must not determine whether a dude is
- 17:44Speaker 1: a dude before he gets into a ring and beats
- 17:49Speaker 1: a woman. Yeah, a medal is That's how far the
- 17:53Speaker 1: Libs have gone, right, is that in order to be
- 17:56Speaker 1: a good liberal you have to cheer and make fun
- 18:01Speaker 1: of anyone who doesn't cheer the beating of a woman
- 18:04Speaker 1: inside a boxing ring by a dude for a metal
- 18:10Speaker 1: like this is crazy, right, And that.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Is the thing I think that so many of them
- 18:15Speaker 2: know that it's crazy I know we have again these
- 18:18Speaker 2: eighty twenty numbers, but they're not loud enough about it.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Where are the like the feminist organizations are just I
- 18:26Speaker 2: know some feminists have taken some real risks. Jk Rowling
- 18:29Speaker 2: has been at the forefront of this. I get that
- 18:31Speaker 2: there are very outspoken feminists from the left talking about this,
- 18:35Speaker 2: but in general they're all still so quiet, and they're
- 18:38Speaker 2: not standing up for women, and they're not standing up
- 18:41Speaker 2: for these girls, and they're allowing girls to be beat
- 18:43Speaker 2: up by a man on a stage.
- 18:45Speaker 3: How is that okay?
- 18:46Speaker 4: No?
- 18:46Speaker 1: And it goes beyond that, right. It is the shaming
- 18:49Speaker 1: of the women who do stand up. Is it is
- 18:53Speaker 1: making what's always made me most angry as a as
- 18:56Speaker 1: a former somewhat mediocre female athlete myself, is that is
- 19:02Speaker 1: that these women who are beaten by post pubescent males,
- 19:08Speaker 1: they must stand up and cheer and talk to the
- 19:11Speaker 1: press and tell the press how amazing, howwering it is
- 19:15Speaker 1: to be beaten by a dude in their sport, or
- 19:18Speaker 1: else they will be shunned and punished. And on this front,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I think Jennifer Say Martina and Abergelomo jk Rowling have
- 19:25Speaker 1: given a bunch of female athletes courage to stand up
- 19:29Speaker 1: and say no. They wear the xxxy shirts, they stand
- 19:32Speaker 1: on the podium, or they skip the podium entirely. They
- 19:35Speaker 1: have forfeited their sports at times at great cost to themselves.
- 19:41Speaker 1: So I think that's where the turn is happening with
- 19:43Speaker 1: the normy athletes who are fed up with this, and
- 19:47Speaker 1: elite liberalism has to get its mind wrapped around this
- 19:51Speaker 1: if it expects to ever perform anywhere or be listened
- 19:55Speaker 1: to anyone.
- 19:57Speaker 2: And I see normy moms, enormy people in the XXXY shirts.
- 20:02Speaker 2: I don't think they have a lot of political opinions,
- 20:05Speaker 2: but I think keeping boys out of girls' sports is
- 20:09Speaker 2: just one of those really gets to people, especially if
- 20:12Speaker 2: they have daughters themselves who play in sports at any level.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I think they understand that, you know, you can't have
- 20:18Speaker 2: boys in this, and if you have, you know you
- 20:20Speaker 2: and I both have daughters and sons. You see the
- 20:23Speaker 2: physical difference between them. It just it's so obvious. It's
- 20:26Speaker 2: if you have eyes, you can tell they are different.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I mean, I so I played on boys' soccer teams
- 20:33Speaker 1: for a little while because my district didn't have enough
- 20:35Speaker 1: money to have a women's soccer team, and it was like,
- 20:37Speaker 1: right at that age where it becomes probably dangerous, It
- 20:41Speaker 1: was like twelve to fourteen, and I've managed, but like,
- 20:46Speaker 1: in no world was that the proper situation for me?
- 20:50Speaker 4: Right?
- 20:50Speaker 6: That was?
- 20:51Speaker 3: And if it had been one on one, I was
- 20:53Speaker 3: part of a team. If it had been one on
- 20:55Speaker 3: one competition with anyone else on the field, like it's
- 21:00Speaker 3: done right.
- 21:01Speaker 2: That's the other thing that the time of when they
- 21:04Speaker 2: play together really matters. My nine year old son had
- 21:07Speaker 2: some unbelievable flag football girls on various teams last season,
- 21:12Speaker 2: Like unreal, they're they're they're taller, they're faster, they you know,
- 21:16Speaker 2: girls hit puberty earlier faster, so at that age they
- 21:20Speaker 2: could still be even better. But once you hit puberty,
- 21:23Speaker 2: all bets are off and it's impossible to have fairness
- 21:27Speaker 2: between boys and girls playing sports together.
- 21:29Speaker 1: All those outstanding flag football gals are going to be
- 21:32Speaker 1: just the kind of gals to grow up and get
- 21:34Speaker 1: their butts beaten by young men pretending to be.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Going Oh man, I hope we solve this for them
- 21:41Speaker 2: before that happens. But yes, that's exactly where they're headed.
- 21:44Speaker 3: I think we're on the way to solving it.
- 21:46Speaker 1: I think there is a as an awakening and I
- 21:49Speaker 1: just there was an update today from the DOJ. Its
- 21:52Speaker 1: demands to California districts is that if you don't comply
- 21:56Speaker 1: with Title nine and protect girls sports and spaces from
- 21:58Speaker 1: male invasion, not all will you lose federal funds, but
- 22:01Speaker 1: you are violating the equal Protection clause of the fourteenth
- 22:04Speaker 1: mimics of the US Constitution. The DOJ demands districts certify compliance,
- 22:09Speaker 1: and if you lie, you are defrauding the government and
- 22:11Speaker 1: liable for False Claims Act violations. Things are going to
- 22:14Speaker 1: get a little tricky for Gavin Newsom as he tries
- 22:18Speaker 1: to walk this type rope and claim he's just a
- 22:22Speaker 1: totally reasonable dude.
- 22:25Speaker 3: You got to the rubber's going to hit the road.
- 22:26Speaker 3: You've got to do something.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Yep, there's a primary. He's going to have to get
- 22:29Speaker 2: through a primary.
- 22:30Speaker 3: So we'll see, good luck with that.
- 22:32Speaker 2: We're going to take a short break and come right
- 22:34Speaker 2: back with normally. Well, you know, we talk a lot
- 22:40Speaker 2: about how Democrats are alienating men. It turns out they
- 22:45Speaker 2: don't want to stop there. Why stop there? Michelle Obama
- 22:49Speaker 2: had some choice things to say about women and what
- 22:53Speaker 2: we are good for and what about us is important.
- 22:57Speaker 4: So many men have no idea about what women go through. Right.
- 23:03Speaker 4: We haven't been researched, we haven't been considered, and it
- 23:07Speaker 4: still affects the way. A lot of male lawmakers, a
- 23:11Speaker 4: lot of male politicians, a lot of male religious leaders
- 23:16Speaker 4: think about the issue of choice as if it's just
- 23:19Speaker 4: about the fetus, the baby, the But women's reproductive health
- 23:26Speaker 4: is about our life. It's about this whole complicated reproductive
- 23:33Speaker 4: system that does the least of what it does is
- 23:37Speaker 4: produce life. It's a very important thing that it does.
- 23:40Speaker 4: But you only produce life if the machine that's producing it.
- 23:45Speaker 4: If you want to, you know, whittle us down to
- 23:47Speaker 4: a machine, if the machine is functioning in a healthy,
- 23:51Speaker 4: streamlined kind of way. But there's no discussion or apparent connection.
- 23:57Speaker 2: What's the most important thing that a machine does? I
- 24:01Speaker 2: just need to know if the least important thing is
- 24:04Speaker 2: it produces life, because that seems kind of a big
- 24:06Speaker 2: one to me.
- 24:08Speaker 3: You know what else there is?
- 24:10Speaker 1: I will say this, If the least important thing that
- 24:13Speaker 1: my uterus is doing is creating life, then I wish
- 24:15Speaker 1: it would quit bugging me every month with the other
- 24:17Speaker 1: stuff that it does seriously not enough. We don't need
- 24:21Speaker 1: to do that at all if it's not important. No,
- 24:25Speaker 1: I think, look, Michelle Obama, I have a theory of
- 24:28Speaker 1: Michelle Obama. By the way that podcast.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Because the show is called normally, I know it's not
- 24:33Speaker 2: the theory on Michelle Obama.
- 24:35Speaker 1: So no, I have a theory that she is doing
- 24:39Speaker 1: this podcast to get rid of the idea from anybody's
- 24:44Speaker 1: brain that she can ever run for office.
- 24:46Speaker 2: It worked, it really worked.
- 24:48Speaker 3: I was like, this woman.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Cannot actually run for office.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Look, there are times when she is incredible. She gave
- 24:54Speaker 3: a great speech at the DNC.
- 24:55Speaker 1: You look at her and you're like, this, she has
- 24:57Speaker 1: one hundred percent name i'd people seem to love her.
- 25:00Speaker 3: You know, there's tons to tons going for her.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Then she's like, I'm gonna do a podcast and I'm
- 25:04Speaker 1: gonna say all the things.
- 25:06Speaker 3: That will make it impossible for me to run for office.
- 25:08Speaker 1: So I think that's her plan, because I don't think
- 25:10Speaker 1: she ever wanted to run for office, right, So she's
- 25:12Speaker 1: just like, now I'm gonna make myself toxic.
- 25:13Speaker 3: But this is such a wild thing to say. She's correct.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Men often don't understand much of what she goes on.
- 25:20Speaker 3: This is a fair critic reed.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but the idea that you're that your reproductive system's
- 25:27Speaker 1: least important function is creating life, when that's like the grandest,
- 25:32Speaker 1: most amazing, most miraculous, most differentiating thing about being a
- 25:38Speaker 1: woman that you can do, is so dismissive and crazy to.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Me, right, And I just it's her and also Hillary Clinton.
- 25:49Speaker 2: I just I don't get why it's okay for first
- 25:53Speaker 2: ladies to kind of lecture us in this way, Like
- 25:57Speaker 2: I long for the bar Bush the Laura Bushes, who
- 26:02Speaker 2: just like they do what they do, and they don't
- 26:05Speaker 2: they don't tell us how to be. I wrote about
- 26:07Speaker 2: Hillary Clinton recently for Fox News. Nothing she likes more
- 26:11Speaker 2: than popping her head up to tell us how women
- 26:13Speaker 2: are and behaving the way she would like, and how
- 26:14Speaker 2: we've been a massive disappointment to her, to Hillary Clinton, particularly,
- 26:19Speaker 2: so you know, she had she had it again recently.
- 26:21Speaker 2: But she's always talking about how women vote, the way
- 26:24Speaker 2: that their husbands make them vote and the way that
- 26:26Speaker 2: they want them to and they cater to the men
- 26:28Speaker 2: in their lives and all that. Why why just go
- 26:31Speaker 2: enjoy your retirement. You don't need the money you don't
- 26:34Speaker 2: need the fame, go sail off into the sunset. I
- 26:38Speaker 2: assure you that was what I would be doing if
- 26:41Speaker 2: I were them.
- 26:41Speaker 3: I know.
- 26:42Speaker 1: This is why we're normal, though they're not normal. She
- 26:46Speaker 1: That was part of Michelle Obama's take as well, the
- 26:49Speaker 1: Republican women suggesting, of course, that they voted for Donald
- 26:52Speaker 1: Trump because.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Of their husbands.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Quote, there are a lot of men who have big
- 26:55Speaker 1: chairs at their tables. There are a lot of women
- 26:57Speaker 1: who vote the way their man is going to vote.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Happened in this election.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Meanwhile, my husband's like, who are we voting for? Right,
- 27:06Speaker 2: not not for president, but like, you know, any of
- 27:08Speaker 2: the local stuff. He's just like, I don't know where.
- 27:10Speaker 3: What am I doing? What do we do now?
- 27:12Speaker 1: I would say it often probably goes the other direction.
- 27:16Speaker 1: And it's just such a again, dismissive, condescending.
- 27:22Speaker 3: It doesn't acknowledge unnecessary that what.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Democrats do and what liberals do is that they don't
- 27:28Speaker 1: go looking for the constituency to convince them. They go
- 27:32Speaker 1: looking for a constituency to lecture and change them.
- 27:35Speaker 3: So it just doesn't work. It's not going to work.
- 27:39Speaker 1: And actually we have a new clip of Harry Hinton,
- 27:41Speaker 1: the smart I said that real Southern Harry Hinton, Harry
- 27:45Speaker 1: and the smart numbers guy over at CNN who was
- 27:49Speaker 1: going through a few more numbers on Trump that I
- 27:52Speaker 1: think are going to be problematic for Democrats as we
- 27:55Speaker 1: move forward.
- 27:55Speaker 5: After all of the waves, Capball, when after the last
- 27:58Speaker 5: few months, the first five to the Donald Trump presidency,
- 28:01Speaker 5: right of the first four months to the Donald Trump presidency,
- 28:03Speaker 5: that you expect that Democrats are have this massive lead
- 28:06Speaker 5: on the economy.
- 28:07Speaker 6: It ain't so.
- 28:08Speaker 5: It ain't so the party that is closest to your
- 28:10Speaker 5: economic views. And November of twenty twenty three, it was
- 28:12Speaker 5: the Republicans by eleven points. Now it's still within that range,
- 28:16Speaker 5: still within that margin of our plus eight point advantage
- 28:19Speaker 5: for the Republican Party.
- 28:20Speaker 6: How is that possible? Democrats? How is that possible after
- 28:23Speaker 6: all the recession, Because after the stock market's been doing
- 28:26Speaker 6: all of this, after all the towers that Americans are against,
- 28:29Speaker 6: and Republicans still hold an eight point lead on the economy,
- 28:32Speaker 6: Are you kidding me?
- 28:33Speaker 5: Well?
- 28:34Speaker 2: I like the way he says all. It reminds me
- 28:36Speaker 2: of my Brooklyn childhood.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Not a mystery figure it out either.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but most Americans are not in the stock market.
- 28:45Speaker 2: The price of eggs is way down. It's little things
- 28:48Speaker 2: that have gotten better. It could all go to you know,
- 28:52Speaker 2: crapper and at any moment, we really don't know. The
- 28:55Speaker 2: economy is really in flux, and obviously we're hoping things
- 28:59Speaker 2: stay positive.
- 29:02Speaker 3: But it's no great mystery.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Why Americans trust the Trump administration or Republicans in general
- 29:09Speaker 2: over Democrats. Democrats are always involved in some other issue
- 29:13Speaker 2: and dismissing the needs of Americans and mocking them for
- 29:17Speaker 2: their caring about egg prices and things like that. So
- 29:21Speaker 2: no great mystery to me what's going on here.
- 29:24Speaker 3: I don't think they're going to figure out anytime soon.
- 29:26Speaker 2: No, they still haven't gotten to boys and girls' sports.
- 29:30Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I don't think they're going to be tackling the economy
- 29:33Speaker 2: anytime too soon. Thanks for joining us on normally. Normally
