This one's personal because too many of us are outsourcing our worth, handing it over to our jobs, people, numbers. Worse yet, social media. Here's the trap. You let your boss decide your value. If they praise you, you're good. If they don't, you're worthless. I remember this being a kid. My parents making me feel that way.
- 0:59You let Instagram likes decide your confidence. 100 likes, you're on top. 10 likes, you're in the gutter. You let numbers, salaries, sales, followers, friends, lovers dictate whether you feel successful or not. That's outsourcing your worth and it's dangerous because now your whole self-esteem depends on things you can't fully control.
- 1:27I've been there. When business was up, I felt unstoppable. When it dipped, I felt like a failure. Your truth, my worth didn't change. The numbers did. Your worth isn't rented from jobs, people, or numbers. It's owned by you and it's in your heart. It comes from promises you keep to yourself and everybody else in this world. The integrity you live with, the effort you give, regardless.

Stop outsourcing your worth, start building it internally through discipline, integrity, and self-respect. Use that little thing called the mirror. It works every time.
