Five-Car Pile-Up Kills One in Ohio | Dayton News
A horrific five-vehicle pile-up on I-75 North near Franklin, Ohio, early Saturday morning claimed one life and left four others with serious injuries. Triggered by a sudden stop in the left center lane, the crash sent a Civic off the road, where it struck a pedestrian and parked car before spinning into a Ford E-150 van — which then collided with a barrier and two more vehicles. The 59-year-old driver, Karen White of Miamisburg, died at the scene. Authorities are still investigating the chain reaction that unfolded just after 6 AM.
