the real story. So let's start. Let's start with inflation. Okay,

tell everyone why inflation is not beaten. It's not down, it's actually soaring

at the moment. And the average American does not feel anything that they're being

told by the government about inflation or bidnomics. What's the real story. Yeah,

Well, first of all, the fact that Biden is taking credit for

inflation is completely bizarre because the only reason inflation was high to begin with is

because of bad policies that he put in place. If you looked at inflation

going into twenty twenty one exiting the Trumpet administration, it was a little bit

blow two percent, and it had been for many years before that. You

didn't see this massive emergence of inflation until that's bring A twenty one right after

what we've come to learn in the year since then is the only thing people

higher than it's ever been in history. Pretty much everything I spend my

was zero or quarter to quarter was zero, that doesn't mean that inflation is

on what it was last year and the year before. And so if something

what it already did. You still had that a helotive price impact. And

about GDP gross domestic product, which is another way to say economic growth.

And I think the economy is horrible, and yet the Biden administration is taking

a victory lap for the latest GDP report that shows the economy grew three point

one percent over the last year. What's your take on that? So,

in fact, the data wasn't even quite that good. That was just the

kind of quarterly growth, right. If you look at the entire twenty twenty

three year, it grew two and a half percent, which in the recent

scheme of things, it's not a bad number, but it's not a great

number at all. But here's the thing, though, even at that very

media over number, let's see what was that built on, Like what created

that? The reality is the amount of debt that the federal government took on

in twenty twenty three was even bigger than the increase in GDP. That's a

pretty bad investment when you borrow a bunch of money and the additional GDP is

not even that much. And then you also have to think about how sustainable

is any of that stuff. And the reality is, not only is the

federal debt totally unsustainable, even consumer spending, which is kind of the biggest

driver. Consumers are massively over stretched. They are struggling to deal with the

high prices and they're throwing a lot of it on the credit card bill and

credit card debt is at a record high and delinquencies are going up to the

fastest spaces twenty eleven. So this is not sustainable. And I very much.

Think we're gonna have a week of even twenty twenty four. Well,

and I'll throw in a couple more things, Sara that I always find.

Number One, when they talk about GDP, you know, even if the

bulk of it comes from government spending, they say that's great, everything's great,

But it was in the private sector. It was government growing and government

jobs and government spending. And number two, they love to talk about healthcare

spending. Let's say that healthcare spending goes up, I don't know, three

percent, four percent, five percent, they take credit that means economic growth,

but it's coming out of my wallet. As a consumer. When I

go to the doctor, or god forbid, I go to the hospital,

the bill is skyrocketed since we instituted Obamacare. Every doctor bills through the roof,

every medical procedure bill is through the roof, Every hospital and surgical bill

is through the roof. You're a health insurance bill is through the roof,

and so that equals better economic growth, but it comes out of my wallet.

Yeah, you look at any of the major industries where the government has

jumped in and mettled extensively, and you're gonna find faster price growth in those

areas anywhere, and other sectors you can see it higher edd you can see

it in healthcare. I mean, there's just a number of areas where government

jumps in and guess what, cost don't get better, they get worse.

bottom line, what are people taking home? And when you look at twenty

seventeen, until just before COVID, the typical family, after adjusting for inflation,

income went up by almost six thousand dollars. You then look at the

period since twenty nineteen and it's fallen by several thousand dollars. So this is
