Speaker 1: The joe rogan experience train.
• 0:06
Speaker 2: By day joe rogan podcast by night all day i'll
• 0:15
stick with the water from that i've never figured out
• 0:16
how to do the coffee thing you never figured out
• 0:19
coffee no really do tea things well drink tea he's.
• 0:23
Speaker 1: Nice he's probably better for you i guess but Man,
• 0:26
it's so hard to know. Well, here, I'll ask you
• 0:28
because you're a health expert. How convenient. Because there's all
• 0:33
this conflicting information about coffee. Like some people say coffee
• 0:36
is really good for you. It's like an amazing antioxidant.
• 0:39
There's all these positive health benefits. And other people say, no,
• 0:43
it dehydrates you. It's bad for you. It's too much caffeine.
• 0:47
It's bad for you. What do you think?
• 0:50
Speaker 2: I mean, I think this is one of the next
• 0:51
advancements of humankind. We're going to stop demonizing anything nature's provided,
• 0:55
and we're going to start looking at our relationship to
• 0:57
it instead. And I think it's fundamentally your relationship to
• 1:00
coffee that's going to determine whether it's a health benefit
• 1:03
or detrimental to who you are. There's been so many
• 1:07
fad diets, so many fad moments, and the science has
• 1:10
never supported any of it. The science has always Looking
• 1:14
at the human system as if it's an isolated system
• 1:17
then studies the impact of a chemical, caffeine or otherwise
• 1:20
on it. You're not an isolated system. And so if
• 1:23
coffee is part of a complex ecosystem of your microbiome,
• 1:27
the soil systems of your body, then it's going to
• 1:29
supercharge you into health. But if coffee sits there as
• 1:32
a drug that is bypassing the felt sense of being human,
• 1:38
then you're probably undermining your potential to be alive fully
• 1:41
and it's becoming a distraction to life.
• 1:44
Speaker 1: Or you're doing your best to be a good office worker,
• 1:48
which is why it's the one drug they provide at work.
• 1:50
Speaker 2: Exactly. If you're committed to machine-like behavior, it's your best asset.
• 1:54
Speaker 1: And it's kind of interesting that caffeine is the one
• 1:57
drug that is provided at most offices.
• 2:01
Speaker 2: I would say that that's indirectly true. I think that
• 2:05
the one drug that's most provided at offices is actually
• 2:08
  performance-based machine-like reward systems.
• 2:12
Speaker 1: Okay, so human ingrained drugs.
• 2:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, the brain contains every neurochemical you'd want to control behavior.
• 2:21
And so we've created office environments that reward machine-like behavior
• 2:25
for 150 years. And so this is how we've ended
• 2:28
up looking like we do as a humankind.
• 2:30
Speaker 1: Yeah, very bizarre pattern that we found ourselves in that
• 2:34
was created to make better office workers. So we've molded
• 2:38
human behavior into Around office work. We've molded human behavior
• 2:41
around the one thing that people really, for the most part,
• 2:44
don't want to be doing, which is terrible.
• 2:47
Speaker 2: I was blessed to sit by thousands of deathbeds. My
• 2:50
third subspecialty in medicine was hospice. Sat by thousands of
• 2:54
deathbeds and not a single person ever told me a
• 2:57
day of their life in an office. And they just
• 2:59
don't even remember it. It's consumed 40 hours a week
• 3:03
of their life. And it just is a. It can't compute.
• 3:06
It doesn't integrate into your soul experience at the end
• 3:09
  of things.
• 3:10
Speaker 1: Yeah, even if you're making a ton of money, like
• 3:13
at the end of the day, you're still locked up
• 3:16
for eight hours a day doing something you probably don't
• 3:19
  want to do.
• 3:21
Speaker 2: We're getting into a big piece right here. This is
• 3:23
really the secret of everything is when did humans become abstract?
• 3:27
When did we stop being living systems?
• 3:30
Speaker 1: So do you think that that's just our– Ego or
• 3:36
delusions that allow us to think that we're not a system,
• 3:40
that we're just– this is me. I'm Mike. I know
• 3:42
what I'm doing. I'm just going to drink my coffee
• 3:44
and go to work because that's what you do. You
• 3:47
have a job. You get it done. And then there's
• 3:49
like these narratives that get reinforced in the media. Like
• 3:52
the guy who shows up for work every day doing
• 3:53
a job that sucks, that guy is a hero, right?
• 3:56
  We love those guys.
• 3:57
  Speaker 2: That's it. That's it.
• 3:59
Speaker 1: And you're rewarded for it. The guy that writes poetry
• 4:01
and sits in his backyard, oh, fucking hippie. You know,
• 4:04
that ne'er-do-well. Unless he sells a bunch of books. And
• 4:08
then we're like, the guy was a genius. Then he's
• 4:11
Hunter S. Thompson. I think what you said about the
• 4:15
relationship to coffee is really important. Because I think that
• 4:19
could be the case with virtually everything in life. You know,
• 4:22
like you could get addicted to almost anything. And you
• 4:26
could use anything as a crutch, whether it's so many
• 4:29
people use food. I mean food is probably one of
• 4:31
the biggest ones humans use. You don't feel good? Have
• 4:34
some fucking food. Eat some food you don't want. You
• 4:36
shouldn't be eating. But you're like, fuck it. I'm having
• 4:39
ring dings. I'm tired. Today sucked at work. I'm having
• 4:43
a hot dog on the way home. Right?
• 4:45
  Speaker 2: That's exactly right. And I think that's why you've done 2,800
• 4:50
podcasts or something like this. You've been at this for
• 4:52
16 years. And I think this podcast is ready for
• 4:56
the most disruptive conversation that's ever been had.
• 4:59
Speaker 1: Is that this one right here?
• 5:00
Speaker 2: That's this one. Okay.
• 5:02
Speaker 1: What's the most disruptive thing that you can say in
• 5:04
the most disruptive conversation that's ever been had?
• 5:07
  Speaker 2: Everything is perfect.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: What does that mean?
• 5:11
Speaker 2: It means that everything that's happening right now is actually
• 5:14
a perfect manifestation of a maturation of a species. We
• 5:19
don't actually have a poly crisis going on. We've got
• 5:23
a hospice moment. And the joy that I had as
• 5:27
a hospice doctor was so different than when I was
• 5:29
running ICUs and battling against death and failing against death
• 5:33
every day. You change your perspective for a moment as
• 5:36
a doctor and you suddenly are sitting by somebody's bed
• 5:40
and the victory is no longer staying alive longer. It's
• 5:45
integrating everything that's happened. And I got to watch over
• 5:48
and over again how humans at that last few minutes
• 5:50
of life suddenly look back and realize their life was perfect.
• 5:55
And I think that's the exciting moment we're in is
• 5:57
we're going to move past this polarized state of human
• 6:01
perspective where we keep flipping the victim-perpetrator code and we
• 6:07
use the savior mentality to keep that victim-perpetrator coin flipping
• 6:11
to keep a mirage going. And we can get into
• 6:15
why we created the mirage in the first place. But
• 6:17
in the hospice moment, you suddenly put that coin down
• 6:20
and somebody starts– dipping across the veil of the limited
• 6:24
five senses of their brain. And they start feeling an
• 6:27
ecstatic moment where they realize, oh my God, the whole
• 6:31
thing was poetically perfect. All of the heartbreak, all of
• 6:35
the estrangement, all of the disappointment, all of the insecurity.
• 6:39
I did that for the experience and I felt everything.
• 6:45
I felt everything a human can feel. And you get
• 6:48
to see somebody who just a moment ago really thought
• 6:50
their life was a failure. You know, difficult time with
• 6:53
their kids, never became successful in their jobs. And they
• 6:57
suddenly realized it had nothing to do with any of
• 6:59
those metrics. It had to do with the experience of
• 7:02
feeling everything a human being is capable of, which is
• 7:04
probably one of the most unique experiences a soul can have.
• 7:08
We are a very strange species for the limitations of
• 7:11
our perception. And for that, we get to feel a
• 7:13
lot and that's really blessed. And so I think we're
• 7:16
moving towards this moment as a species now we've been
• 7:19
we're on our hospice bed and we've been here 300,000
• 7:21
years in our current form we've been given our hospice
• 7:24
diagnosis we got a few decades left in this current
• 7:27
form at that moment when we put down that victim
• 7:30
perpetrator polarized sense of like he's right she's wrong she's
• 7:34
right he's wrong we set that coin down we're going
• 7:38
to suddenly have a hospice moment where everything suddenly makes
• 7:42
sense and we understand why we did the journey together
• 7:45
We realized that those that we thought were our enemies
• 7:48
or the biggest problems of our lives were holding polarity
• 7:51
to a human experience. I was waiting for our deathbed
• 7:54
moment because about 10% of hospice patients don't die. They
• 7:59
get discharged and go on to live a new life.
• 8:01
Speaker 1: This is a wonderful perspective if sociopaths weren't real. So
• 8:07
the problem is there is an aspect of our society
• 8:12
where there are human beings whose minds don't function in
• 8:17
a harmonious manner with other people. And they're not going
• 8:21
to change. This is who they are. And they've been
• 8:24
doing this their entire life. And they're out on the street.
• 8:28
Speaker 2: And they've sat across from you right here.
• 8:31
Speaker 1: I'm sure. Yeah. Well, we had a guy in the
• 8:33
studio that cut a guy's head off after the podcast.
• 8:36
He killed a guy and cut his head off. So
• 8:38
there's work that I do with my friend Josh Dubin.
• 8:41
He used to work for the Innocence Project and now
• 8:44
he works for the Ike Perlmutter Center for Legal Justice.
• 8:48
And it's all wrongly incarcerated people and getting them out
• 8:50
of jail and spends an incredible amount of his own
• 8:53
resources helping people. And through this podcast, a bunch of
• 8:56
people have been released. So he wanted to do a
• 8:58
podcast episode where he had one of the guys who
• 9:01
had been in prison. He was guilty, but he had
• 9:04
been given an extraordinarily long sentence and it was wrong.
• 9:08
And he comes on and he tells about his experiences.
• 9:11
And he got released early. But he did like 25
• 9:13
years in jail for– I believe it was something along
• 9:18
the lines of drug dealing and maybe some sort of
• 9:21
an assault. But 25 years of his life when he
• 9:23
was a young kid. He does the podcast and then
• 9:27
afterwards goes and visits this guy that apparently he had
• 9:29
a beef with, kills him, cuts his head off, puts
• 9:32
him in a suit– like puts a wig on, tries
• 9:35
to escape in the hallway like through the cameras. I
• 9:37
guess he doesn't understand HD cameras because they haven't been
• 9:39
around for 25 years. He was sitting right there. A
• 9:44
couple weeks later, he's cutting a guy's head off. Yeah,
• 9:46
you're going to– this idea that everything is perfect, it's
• 9:49
not perfect for the guy who got his head cut off.
• 9:51
You know what I mean? It's not perfect for a
• 9:53
person who becomes victim to these sociopaths that are amongst us.
• 9:57
If everybody was just a person and everybody was genuinely
• 10:00
trying to like do better in life I would agree
• 10:04
but I would think that this is a part of
• 10:06
this bizarre experience that we're all going through as a
• 10:11
species and I agree with you that there's a lot
• 10:14
of things changing and there's a narrative that exists that
• 10:19
about what it means to be a person that's entirely
• 10:21
based up on what we described earlier. It's based on
• 10:23
office work. Like it's, it's based on nonsense. It's based
• 10:26
on 401k plans. It's not based on human experiences and
• 10:29
it's really dumb. It's not, it doesn't help any and
• 10:32
everybody gets to the end and I'm sure you know
• 10:34
this more than anybody. They get to the end and
• 10:36
they never say, I wish I worked more. Never, never, never.
• 10:41
And you know, I know you love what you do
• 10:46
and I think that is the true way to live
• 10:49
life in a harmonious way. Find a thing where it's–
• 10:52
even work is not really work. It's just stuff that
• 10:55
you enjoy doing that's interesting that you're required to do.
• 10:59
But while you do it, you love it. That's what
• 11:01
we should all strive for. And this fucking programming that
• 11:06
we've done to children from the time they were young.
• 11:08
telling them that, you know, you're going to have to
• 11:10
get some boring ass job and doom. They will like
• 11:14
have it hang over your head. Like one day you're
• 11:16
going to be 18 and then you're going to have
• 11:17
to get a job. Oh fuck. And if you don't
• 11:19
go to college, it's going to be a terrible job.
• 11:21
Oh no. It's just this, we've been programmed that like
• 11:26
one of the things that keeps coming up about AI
• 11:29
is the concept of a universal basic income or what
• 11:33
Elon likes to say, universal high income that we're all
• 11:36
going to just have Money for food and money for
• 11:39
housing and you're going to have this incredibly rich society
• 11:45
where there's so much money that no one really has
• 11:48
to work anymore. And so then you're going to have
• 11:50
to find purpose doing something that you enjoy. And that
• 11:53
sounds crazy to people. That sounds so insane. Like I'm
• 11:57
going to have to figure out what to do with
• 11:59
my life and I don't need to work for money anymore.
• 12:02
Because if you're– the government just gives everyone in the
• 12:05
country a half a million dollars a year. The idea
• 12:09
that you can't figure out what to do with your
• 12:11
time is really nuts. That is a failure of our
• 12:14
education system for sure because we haven't taught people to
• 12:18
be curious and to find all these cool things and
• 12:21
to find new people and go to interesting places and
• 12:25
experience life. No, we've only told them about a bunch
• 12:28
of numbers that you don't even feel. You know, you
• 12:31
don't even feel the numbers. The numbers go up. They
• 12:33
go down. You don't even notice it. But you feel
• 12:35
everything as a person everywhere you go, all the new
• 12:38
people you meet, all the new experiences you have. You
• 12:40
feel all of them. And for whatever weird reason, we've
• 12:43
been tricked into thinking that numbers are more valuable than
• 12:46
the feelings, numbers that you don't even feel.
• 12:49
Speaker 2: You've just nailed the most important message for humanity. You
• 12:53
just nailed the most important message. Feeling is the only
• 12:57
relevant thing to a human body.
• 12:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, we got stuck. We got stuck with numbers. We
• 13:02
got stuck with numbers. As soon as they figured out
• 13:05
how to make money and put it in banks and
• 13:07
then now in the cloud, as soon as they gave
• 13:10
us a number to fixate on, we're like, oh, the number.
• 13:13
It's so weird. It's such a weird thing that people
• 13:19
haven't figured out that that's a bad way to live.
• 13:22
And maybe that will be part of the process with
• 13:26
this whole technological innovation, this crazy moment in history that
• 13:34
we're at right now with AI where we really for
• 13:37
the first time have no idea what the world is
• 13:39
going to look like in 10 years. We just don't know. Well,
• 13:42
maybe like this would be like a perfect– the two
• 13:46
things happen at the same time where enough people are
• 13:48
saying this is not what life is supposed to be about.
• 13:51
And then this comes along and reworks all of our infrastructure,
• 13:55
and now we no longer need people to run things anymore. Okay.
• 13:59
We can go back to being people? That's the rosy,
• 14:04
rose-colored glasses version of it, right?
• 14:07
Speaker 2: I don't even know his rose color. I think it's inevitable.
• 14:10
I think bodies always win. There's no way a machine
• 14:13
ever wins this game. There's no way that a machine
• 14:17
that requires external energy systems and cannot repair itself wins.
• 14:22
And so the whole Elon Musk future of the planet
• 14:25
that we've been told is a massive distraction from the
• 14:30
reality that's going to be lived instead of invented. There's
• 14:35
only one pathway forward for humanity now, and it's biological,
• 14:38
not technological. We're going to start to reverse our polarity
• 14:43
on our belief of what technology is and we're going
• 14:46
to realize that everything at its highest expression is biological
• 14:50
not chemical not physical it's biological if it's not a
• 14:54
living system it loses ultimately the universe has been innovating
• 14:59
life for billions of years because it's the most eloquent
• 15:03
most elegant thing that's ever been expressed by all of
• 15:08
the systems all the stacking geometry and beauty of this
• 15:11
universe it's life that's the secret of everything And so
• 15:15
anytime anybody comes along and says, here's a machine that's
• 15:18
going to replace human XYZ, you can smile, thank them,
• 15:23
and keep moving for a biological solution. Anytime somebody says,
• 15:27
here's an IV drip, here's a new red light that
• 15:31
you can hang on your wall and make you healthier,
• 15:33
you can say, thank you very much for your thought process.
• 15:35
I'm moving back to biological systems. Life has been co-expressing life.
• 15:43
for billions of years. And it is by far and
• 15:45
away the most spectacular relational expression of nature that's occurred
• 15:50
so far. And so when we think of a transhuman
• 15:54
technologic future with chips in the brain and artificial limbs
• 15:58
and all of this stuff that's unfolding right now through
• 16:00
the Musk world, all of that is literally an abstraction.
• 16:05
The word abstraction means a disorientation that occurs when the
• 16:10
context is lost. If we continue down this pathway that
• 16:14
you nailed, we've been for 150 years training children to
• 16:17
sit in chairs, answer multiple choice tests, be programmed with
• 16:21
education rather than have experiential learning. We got so far
• 16:24
down that avenue that a mechanical future feels more likely
• 16:28
than a human future because humans are actually really bad
• 16:31
at doing machine-like behavior. We're not consistent. We don't thrive
• 16:37
in that space. Our health declines. Our productivity declines. Anytime
• 16:40
you put somebody in a cubicle, they're They're on a
• 16:43
downward spiral. And so all these companies that were told
• 16:45
you need to put a bunch of people in cubicles
• 16:47
and therefore make more in 10 years than you do
• 16:50
now put themselves out of business by turning humans into
• 16:54
machines and were just bad at it. And so the
• 16:58
rise of this AI generation is a natural expression of
• 17:03
a humanity that's lost the context of life. We've lost
• 17:07
the context of nature. Therefore, we're expressing AI as a
• 17:10
  terminal state of abstraction.
• 17:14
Speaker 1: I believe that life is the most spectacular expression of
• 17:18
the universe as far as our experience. But I don't
• 17:22
know if this thing that we're creating is in another
• 17:26
kind of life. And I think it might be a
• 17:29
kind of life that we help give birth to. And
• 17:34
then that thing figures out how to make better versions
• 17:36
of itself and become something new. Like I've always... equated
• 17:43
us to like we're an electronic caterpillar that's making a cocoon.
• 17:47
We don't know why, but that's just what it does.
• 17:50
You know, the cat, you know, caterpillars aren't talking to
• 17:52
their caterpillar friends and getting schematics on how to build
• 17:55
a cocoon and what's the proper technique. They just know
• 17:58
how to do it. Right. And I think what we
• 18:00
do with our thirst for constant innovation, we want new electronics,
• 18:07
we want new and best stuff all the time. And
• 18:09
We have materialism where we're obsessed with collecting stuff which
• 18:13
makes you buy new stuff and the newest stuff if
• 18:15
you want status is the best stuff. What does that do? Well,
• 18:20
it funnels innovation, fuels innovation because it gives them a
• 18:24
tremendous amount of resources to continue to make better stuff
• 18:27
and the ultimate best stuff is an artificial life. I
• 18:31
think it just might be a part of the process
• 18:33
of being a person. It might be what the universe
• 18:37
has people do. And I think we might be a
• 18:42
little silly in thinking that the only kind of life
• 18:44
that exists is biological. It just might be the only
• 18:49
kind of life that exists up until a certain point
• 18:51
when the intelligent creatures give birth to the next version
• 18:54
of life. But it doesn't discount the experience of being
• 18:58
a human and what it means to be a human
• 19:01
and what's important about being a human and why it's
• 19:04
terrible to be trapped up in a cubicle all the time.
• 19:08
But if Elon is right about AI creating enough resources
• 19:13
that we have universal high income, like I don't know
• 19:16
if that's correct. It sounds crazy. But if that's right, well,
• 19:20
that frees up people to just be people again. So
• 19:24
it's like this new life form that we're giving birth
• 19:27
to can handle all the stuff that we used to do,
• 19:31
can handle everything. Allocation of resources can handle shipping, everything, everything.
• 19:37
We don't need to– no more people need to do
• 19:39
factory jobs anymore. It's all done. You can do whatever
• 19:42
you want. This episode is brought to you by Ketone IQ.
• 19:46
If you have been a longtime listener of this podcast,
• 19:48
you know I've been studying ketones. for years. Decades ago, DARPA,
• 19:52
the same people who invented the internet, asked one question.
• 19:56
What is the best brain fuel for a soldier on
• 19:58
the battlefield? They landed on ketones, your brain's natural super fuel.
• 20:03
The military poured tens of millions of figuring out supplemental ketones.
• 20:08
A single serving of this stuff used to cost $ 5, 000.
• 20:12
I'm not joking. But the team of Ketone IQ, who
• 20:16
are a part of this military program, were the first
• 20:18
to bring it to market and cut the cost to
• 20:20
just $ 4 a dose. And I'm telling you, this stuff
• 20:23
is great. I drank one of these and my brain
• 20:25
works on a whole nother level. Go to ketone.com slash

• 20:42

• 20:46
  take your shot.
• 20:47
Speaker 2: I think the limitation of that argument is the definition
• 20:50
of factory job there. If what was really making people
• 20:54
creative and productive, as that story suggests, was just half
• 20:58
a million dollars a year from the government to each individual...
• 21:01
Then we would see a really incredibly genius, productive, creative
• 21:06
portion of humanity that are multigenerational wealth. Have you had
• 21:12
somebody sit here who was born into great wealth who
• 21:15
showed that they had way more productivity and way more
• 21:17
creativity than people that were born in poverty?
• 21:21
Speaker 1: No, generally it's people that were born in poverty that
• 21:23
  have more motivation. Boom. Yeah.
• 21:28
Speaker 2: So this promise that we're going to create an AI
• 21:30
revolution that's going to give a– what was the term
• 21:35
  that Elon used?
• 21:36
  Speaker 1: Universal high income.
• 21:37
  Speaker 2: Universal high income.
• 21:39
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 21:39
Speaker 2: That sounds like a death sentence to human creativity to me.
• 21:43
Speaker 1: Well, it certainly could if people are not taught at
• 21:47
a young age how to be motivated by their interests
• 21:49
rather than be motivated by money. So you're making the
• 21:52
argument for being motivated by money, which is what a
• 21:55
lot of people are currently, right? But that doesn't necessarily
• 21:59
mean that that's the only way a human can exist.
• 22:02
There's a bunch of different tribes all over the world
• 22:04
that have a bunch of different customs. They all agree
• 22:06
to their customs and those customs are totally different than
• 22:09
these customs. We've gotten into the custom of thinking that
• 22:12
you work for money and that's what our ideas are
• 22:15
based on. And so the idea that money could come
• 22:18
along and if you just gave people this money, it
• 22:21
would be the death of human creativity. Well, that sounds
• 22:24
counterintuitive to what you were saying earlier because like People
• 22:27
should be– it's the factory mentality that's taught in schools
• 22:33
that's the problem. It's the way they structure it because
• 22:36
if you instead say to a child when they're learning
• 22:40
things at a young age, you don't have to worry
• 22:42
about money. Money is not what's important. What's important is
• 22:45
your expression as a human being. Let's figure out what
• 22:48
you're interested in. Maybe you're really interested in playing the piano,
• 22:52
but you're really interested in paintings. And you're really interested
• 22:55
in sports and you're really interested. Find out what you're
• 22:58
actually interested in. We're going to teach you how to
• 23:00
be better at it and how to be a better person.
• 23:03
And we're going to give you a bunch of really
• 23:04
interesting facts about life and teach you how to think.
• 23:07
And that's what school should be instead of setting people
• 23:10
up for factory jobs. So the universal high income concept,
• 23:14
if that's used in conjunction with intelligent education, education that's
• 23:19
based on this new paradigm that we find ourselves in,
• 23:22
that seems like it would be a really good thing.
• 23:26
Speaker 2: It'll be a disaster for as long as money is
• 23:28
disconnected from life. And so giving somebody a monetary system
• 23:33
that does not participate in the formation, creation and co-creation
• 23:38
of life will just further distance us from nature. And
• 23:41
so this is where we can start to think about
• 23:43
like what is money actually. Right. And we can go
• 23:46
  down that avenue.
• 23:47
Speaker 1: So you think like just what about people that live
• 23:49
in like hunter-gatherer societies? Do you think that they find
• 23:53
purpose in hunting and gathering, right?
• 23:55
Speaker 2: They're functioning as the birthright of humanity right there. So
• 23:59
I've spent a lot of time with tribes all over
• 24:00
the world, from Africa to South America, deep Amazon jungle,
• 24:04
everything else. And any time you're with a culture that
• 24:07
is still indigenous, meaning all of us are obviously indigenous
• 24:11
to the planet. We're all made of her. These are
• 24:13
her minerals. This is Mother Earth incarnate in my body.
• 24:17
So I'm as indigenous as anybody else. But my culture
• 24:19
is horribly degraded in its relationship to nature. And so
• 24:23
when we say there's an indigenous culture— these tribes you're
• 24:26
speaking to, what we're saying is this is humans that
• 24:29
have not lost their context. These are humans that have
• 24:32
not become abstract in their value systems or reward systems.
• 24:35
And so what they're functioning as there has great evidence
• 24:38
is that humans were actually designed to be a keystone
• 24:41
species of keystone species. A keystone species is characterized by
• 24:46
its capacity to participate in life. Wherever a keystone species
• 24:49
sets its foot, there's more biodiversity, more life force, more
• 24:53
ecstatic expression of beauty. more intelligence in the natural system.
• 24:57
Amazon jungle is the best example of it right now.
• 24:59
That is a man-made forest. We have a forest that
• 25:03
was designed by hundreds of nations that lived for 40,000
• 25:08
years in an ecosystem and planted the largest food forests
• 25:11
that the world has ever seen. It is a managed forest,
• 25:14
and as the management started to degrade, as those peoples
• 25:17
were displaced or lost, the ecosystem was returning back towards nature.
• 25:22
you know, a desertification cycle, which is an inevitable process there.
• 25:26
So humans in right relationship to nature are keystone species.
• 25:30
You can see this with wolves being reintroduced to Yellowstone.
• 25:34
You can see it with beavers down in South America.
• 25:36
You put white lions back in northern South Africa. You
• 25:39
can see it from space. In the territories where keystone
• 25:42
species are there, it goes green. The microbiome of the
• 25:44
soils increase. The vitality of every plant increases. And so
• 25:48
when you're talking about these tribes, you're talking about a
• 25:50
human species that's in right relationship. And the moment money
• 25:54
comes in as a metric and a value system that's
• 25:57
not connected to life, you fracture that system. And I
• 26:00
think money is not the cause. I think money is
• 26:02
actually a symptom of a humanity that's lost its context
• 26:07
of nature and is now way down the pathway of
• 26:09
abstract systems, value systems, et cetera.
• 26:11
Speaker 1: But this is the case with these people that are
• 26:13
in these indigenous tribes that– what are they doing? They're
• 26:16
trading with people and they're getting money. Like how are
• 26:18
they getting money? Are they selling things?
• 26:20
Speaker 2: They don't need money.
• 26:21
Speaker 1: Right. But how does when you were saying that money
• 26:26
  gets introduced and ruins it?
• 26:27
Speaker 2: It's a symptom downstream. So a good example of.
• 26:30
Speaker 1: But what I was getting to, were you saying that
• 26:33
it gets in the way of these the tribes? Have
• 26:35
  you seen it like effect?
• 26:36
  Speaker 2: Immediately.
• 26:37
Speaker 1: Immediately. So what was the that was the question? Like,
• 26:40
what was the what was going on? Were they selling
• 26:42
their stuff? Were they trading with these people and getting money?
• 26:45
  How are they getting money?
• 26:48
Speaker 2: My new book that's just coming out goes into great
• 26:50
detail on the process of abstraction, like how it starts
• 26:53
to chip away. But in the book, it talks about
• 26:55
my experience with the Ochoa tribe, which is the very
• 26:57
last indigenous culture to be introduced to what we'd call
• 27:01
industrialized cultures. So First Contact was 1996. Wow. So we're
• 27:06
  one generation in.
• 27:07
  Speaker 1: That's crazy.
• 27:09
Speaker 2: First Contact. They're in the sacred headwaters of the Amazon
• 27:11
just on the border between Ecuador and Peru. deep in
• 27:14
the jungle there. And they were the very first indigenous
• 27:17
peoples to reach out to make contact. And they made
• 27:21
contact in 1996 with Westerners because they, as a peoples,
• 27:26
they had, they live in villages that always plateau at 120.
• 27:29
As soon as they hit 120 people, the young men
• 27:32
are sent out and they start new villages. So they
• 27:34
never live in groups more than 120. That has persisted
• 27:38
as a very effective way of resilience and human experience
• 27:41
for 40,000 years there. And so they started reaching out
• 27:45
through dreams and dreamed a group of Westerners into their reality,
• 27:50
guided them down the Amazon, everything else through their dream work,
• 27:53
and made first contact in 1996 because for a few
• 27:56
years they had started to dream the end of the
• 27:59
world and realized the world was going to be destroyed
• 28:01
by their little brothers who had lost relationship to nature.
• 28:06
And so they realized they had to be part of
• 28:08
the reconnection process. And if there was going to be
• 28:11
a prevention of the great extinction. They were going to
• 28:13
have to help their little brothers re-dream their relationship to nature.
• 28:17
And so they started inserting themselves into the dreams of
• 28:21
groups around the world. And the first ones to come
• 28:24
in were traveling with Bill and Lynn Twist. And Lynn
• 28:29
Twist was the one who was dreaming their faces and
• 28:32
hearing their voices. She was one of the directors of
• 28:36
the hunger project globally and was working worldwide to try
• 28:39
to stop hunger. And these indigenous faces kept appearing in
• 28:43
  her dreams.
• 28:43
  Speaker 1: Wow.
• 28:44
Speaker 2: And, uh, the, a friend of hers reached out and said,
• 28:48
I think you need to come to the Amazon with me.
• 28:50
And she's like, I don't, is there people hungry there?
• 28:51
And I know there's no hunger here. You've been eating
• 28:54
out of the forest for 40,000 years. She's like, well,
• 28:55
I don't belong there. I'm, I'm dealing with Ghana and
• 28:57
Africa and India, all the places where people are starving.
• 29:01
A few more invitations come and she finally finds herself
• 29:04
on a, in a, on a riverboat deep into the Amazon.
• 29:07
They have to take a break for a bathroom break.
• 29:10
They step out on the banks, and the three faces
• 29:13
she's been dreaming come walking out of the woods and say,
• 29:15
we've been waiting for you. It's time for contact. Wow.
• 29:23
So that was 1996, so we're 30 years out. And
• 29:28
the way in which money inserted itself first as an
• 29:31
abstract concept was boxed apple juices in the missionary schools
• 29:34
that were set up there. And boxed apple juice suddenly
• 29:38
disrupted the entire 40,000 year history of provision and abundance
• 29:43
that that forest had supplied those peoples. And this high
• 29:47
fructose corn syrup in a box with natural flavorings, i.e.
• 29:53
potent chemicals to disrupt neurochemistry, was all those children and
• 29:57
ultimately their parents needed taste to suddenly break their relationship
• 30:00
to nature. Today, they consider themselves impoverished. They are working
• 30:05
to try to get gas for their outdoor motors that
• 30:08
they never used. They are trying to get more artificial
• 30:12
food in and everything else. And so they've got smartphones
• 30:15
in the jungle now. They're sending their kids out of
• 30:18
the jungles to go to schools, British education systems in
• 30:21
the nearby cities. And so it just took 30 years
• 30:25
to abstract culture. And this was a culture that had
• 30:28
never known poverty, had never known shortage. So much so
• 30:31
that one of the most beautiful things that I experienced
• 30:33
with them is their houses. They build these epic houses
• 30:36
in the jungle. They're huge, 30 foot vaulted ceilings, gorgeous,
• 30:41
like outdoor, indoor living, like the best of California. And
• 30:45
they've been building these things for 40,000 years and they
• 30:47
burn them down every 10 years and build a new one.
• 30:50
They have this understanding of the life death cycle of
• 30:54
the energy of a house and they don't want the
• 30:57
household to be stuck in the same energy it's had
• 30:59
the last 10 years. So they see it as this rebirth.
• 31:01
You mentioned earlier the cocoon. They go through these rebirth
• 31:05
processes for the whole household, the whole home.
• 31:07
Speaker 1: And they move. And they've been doing it that way
• 31:09
  for thousands of years?
• 31:10
Speaker 2: Tens of thousands of years. And so the beautiful thing
• 31:13
about these houses is there's not a, obviously not a refrigerator,
• 31:16
there's not a storage bin for food. They wake up
• 31:19
in the morning for 40,000 years, walk outside, and collect
• 31:23
what the jungle has for them today. But it wasn't
• 31:25
a passive process. It was an active keystone species process.
• 31:29
Every family has three different gardens that it maintains at
• 31:33
different micro ecosystems within the forest so that each year,
• 31:36
depending on dry season, wet season, whatever's happening that year,
• 31:39
one of their gardens is thriving. And so they have,
• 31:42
as a peoples, created micro ecosystems within the Amazon rainforest
• 31:48
for tens of thousands of years to the point that
• 31:50
it now holds the most biodiversity per meter of any
• 31:53
other ecosystem in the world, really. And so we are
• 31:57
this magnificent creature. But if you break our relationship for
• 32:01
a moment to our natural system, then the immediate thing
• 32:05
that shows up before money shows up, poverty shows up.
• 32:08
And my book goes into some details like what are
• 32:10
the different geometries of wealth and poverty? They actually hold
• 32:13
their own security as their own kind of sovereign geometries
• 32:18
within human behavior and human minds. And what you see
• 32:22
with poverty is this instant reinforcement of a deep, deep
• 32:26
human wound that must be our one shared original wound,
• 32:30
which is we were abandoned by nature. And the moment
• 32:33
you believe any aspect of that or have anything suggest
• 32:37
that nature was holding back from us, nature wasn't giving us.
• 32:41
You taste that boxed apple juice, that high fructose corn syrup,
• 32:44
and the brain is me like, ah, I knew there
• 32:47
was something better than nature. I knew there was something
• 32:50
better because the neurochemistry lights up. That boxed apple juice
• 32:54
is just like cocaine on the frontal lobe. And it's
• 32:57
a bizarre thing that high fructose corn syrup is a
• 33:00
bizarre thing. And it's just so perfectly exemplary of everything
• 33:04
else we're doing as humans because high fructose corn syrup
• 33:06
is the exact same molecule as fructose, which is the
• 33:10
main sugar and not just apples. Most of the fruit
• 33:12
that the Ochoa have been eating for all these tens
• 33:14
of thousands of years. But it's flipped. It is the
• 33:17
mirror image of the actual molecule of fructose. And that
• 33:20
does not occur in nature. And so they chemically flipped
• 33:23
the molecule with chemical processing. And the moment you flip
• 33:26
that molecule over, the liver cannot understand it as a carbohydrate.
• 33:30
It now has to process it as an inflammatory triglyceride.
• 33:35
And so instead of turning it into a sugar, it
• 33:37
turns it into this aberration of a fat. And in
• 33:41
the bloodstream, that now causes cardiovascular disease, downstream inflammation of
• 33:44
the brain. major depression, anxiety disorders, all kinds of things
• 33:47
start emerging because you just flipped reality in a mirror.
• 33:51
Speaker 1: How did they flip it? What did they do?
• 33:53
Speaker 2: It's chemical treatment. And so the chemical process is called
• 33:58
a racemic. And so a racemic is the chemical name
• 34:01
for the mirror image of a molecule. And so you
• 34:04
can basically create chemical reactions that will create the mirror
• 34:07
image of the molecule. And so the high fructose corn
• 34:09
syrup is a processed food where you're taking– normal fructose,
• 34:13
and flipping the molecule through a racemic chemical process.
• 34:17
Speaker 1: And why did they first start doing that?
• 34:18
Speaker 2: Because you can patent a molecule that doesn't exist in nature.
• 34:22
And so they created a quote-unquote artificial sweetener, which is
• 34:26
actually a profound way in which you can start to
• 34:30
understand how we did everything in the pharmaceutical industry. We
• 34:33
find plant compounds and we flip them around so that
• 34:36
they're non-natural, not native to the body, and now we
• 34:39
can patent them and we can commercialize them. Right. you know,
• 34:42
I'm not damning somebody else. This is me. I was
• 34:46
at the height of my career, 17 years in academia.
• 34:49
I was creating chemotherapy. And so I was, you know,
• 34:52
getting paid as a medical doctor to sit in labs
• 34:55
every day with cancer cells and try to poison them.
• 34:58
And what I found in the end was a family
• 35:01
of molecules that didn't require any poisoning of the cell.
• 35:04
They actually nourished the cell. And that's where my career
• 35:07
pivoted hard was the sudden realization of like, why are
• 35:11
we trying to poison these cancer cells. And I think
• 35:14
this is where we can begin to like back up together.
• 35:17
But I want to go back to a really important
• 35:19
point that you held earlier, because I don't want to,
• 35:22
when I say everything is perfect, because it is, I
• 35:25
don't want to diminish the amount of suffering we're in.
• 35:27
The amount of suffering the sociopath is in, who's going
• 35:30
to be so extremely divorced from its natural system that
• 35:35
it will think it reasonable to kill and behead somebody else.
• 35:39
That sociopath we can look at as the great problem
• 35:42
with humans. Humans would be just fine if we didn't
• 35:45
have sociopaths. That was how I was trained as a
• 35:48
biologist and a medical doctor. I was trained to believe
• 35:51
that if there just wasn't cancer cells, we'd all be healthy.
• 35:55
We'd all live long if there just wasn't cancer. And
• 35:58
what I discovered over time, which is anybody who spends
• 36:02
17 years looking through microscopes down in the beauty and
• 36:05
miraculous nature of biology, is going to find this. But
• 36:09
in the end, you find out that a cancer cell
• 36:11
is actually no invader at all. It's actually the loneliest
• 36:15
cell in a human body. And so a human cell
• 36:19
that loses connection and communication with its surrounding environment immediately
• 36:23
takes on the traits of a cancer cell. The longer
• 36:26
it's isolated, the more malignant it becomes. The word malignant
• 36:31
means life-threatening. And I would offer you that the sociopath
• 36:36
is exactly the same story It's just one human cell
• 36:39
that became so isolated that it became malignant in its
• 36:42
behavior to life around it. And the moment my world
• 36:46
switched is when I started feeding those isolated, lonely cancer
• 36:51
cells instead of trying to kill them, instead of trying
• 36:53
to poison it, instead of trying to isolate it from
• 36:55
the system. And then what happened was beautiful is they
• 36:57
actually reconnected or they self-eliminated. And so if they had
• 37:02
enough metabolic capacity left at that moment, they could repair, regenerate,
• 37:06
and reconnect to the greater system and they would never
• 37:08
threaten life. If they were too damaged and could not
• 37:11
create enough energy for life at that moment, they would
• 37:14
go through this gentle process called apoptosis, which is a
• 37:17
dissolving of the cell. And a stem cell would be
• 37:19
called in, put down a brand new healthy cell in
• 37:22
its place. And so when we stop looking at cancers
• 37:26
or sociopaths as the one problem with a otherwise healthy
• 37:30
human system, We're going to realize we don't have a
• 37:33
healthy human system. All of these things, the sociopath and
• 37:37
the cancer, are long-derived symptoms of a declining metabolic life force.
• 37:44
And that's where I think I can help you back up.
• 37:47
Speaker 1: Yeah, I hear what you're saying. So in a utopian world,
• 37:50
no one is ever raised in a way that would
• 37:52
create a psychopath. In a utopian world, children are raised
• 37:56
with love and understanding always. And then you never get
• 38:00
the sociopaths and the psychopaths. So in a utopian world,
• 38:04
in a perfect world, that's true. But humans are– one
• 38:08
of the really cool things about us is we're not perfect.
• 38:11
We're very messy. So you're never going to have great
• 38:14
parenting across the board if you have human freedom. You're
• 38:17
never going to have people that don't lie. You're never
• 38:19
going to have people that don't steal. You're always going
• 38:21
to have violence as long as you have human freedom
• 38:24
because people are not going to be good at raising people.
• 38:26
And some people are going to get raised angry and
• 38:29
they're going to– it's– Unless we change what a person is,
• 38:33
unless we all just do mushrooms together and kumbaya it
• 38:36
all together, we're still people. And the problem with people
• 38:40
is there's never been a single time in human history
• 38:43
where we've been a people with no war. Not one.
• 38:49
  Not one.
• 38:51
  Speaker 2: There was one.
• 38:52
  Speaker 1: When?
• 38:53
  Speaker 2: King Solomon.
• 38:54
  Speaker 1: King Solomon?
• 38:55
Speaker 2: During King Solomon's reign, the whole world went into peace.
• 38:57
Speaker 1: What year was this? One generation.
• 38:58
Speaker 2: One generation. This would have been years after David, so
• 39:07
it must be about 2,400 years ago or something like that.
• 39:08
Speaker 1: So how would we even know that there weren't wars
• 39:11
in Morocco at the time that they didn't hear about
• 39:15
or that there weren't wars in Australia or there weren't wars?
• 39:19
How do we know? How do we know that there
• 39:21
  weren't wars so long ago?
• 39:24
Speaker 2: But King Solomon kept one of the best stories of
• 39:27
  humankind alive during that time.
• 39:28
Speaker 1: I'm sure he did, but what you– was this?
• 39:31
Speaker 2: I'd be inaccurate if I said it precisely, but I
• 39:34
think King David would have been about 2,400 years ago,
• 39:36
  so somewhere in that range.
• 39:37
Speaker 1: What is the odds that he knows what's going on
• 39:40
  in China? Zero.
• 39:42
  Speaker 2: Zero.
• 39:42
Speaker 1: 2,400 years ago? This is no 5G. You're not going
• 39:47
on Twitter and finding out what's happening in China. There's
• 39:49
no way he could know if there's war somewhere else.
• 39:51
Speaker 2: There was a technology beyond all of that sitting on
• 39:54
the planet at that time. What was that? Pyramids. Hold on.
• 39:59
Speaker 1: So you think that they used the pyramids to find
• 40:03
out if there's war in China?
• 40:05
Speaker 2: I think that we had a technology called a human
• 40:08
body at the time that was fully used. And we
• 40:11
were fully telepathic. Maybe not this recent, but certainly further back, 10,000, 12,000
• 40:18
years ago, we were communicating much differently.
• 40:21
Speaker 1: Do you think people have an innate telepathic ability that's
• 40:25
kind of muted a little bit by language and by
• 40:29
talking in media? And then if we went back to
• 40:32
the earliest stages of intelligence, we kind of read each
• 40:37
other's minds. And then we realized that's kind of messy.
• 40:41
Wouldn't it be better if we just talked? I'll just
• 40:44
tell you what I think. I don't want to let
• 40:45
you in. And then we wrote things down. So when
• 40:49
you write things down, you can read other people's thoughts.
• 40:52
But before words, I bet we didn't think in those terms.
• 40:58
I bet we thought in terms of what is that.
• 41:00
  There's a tree. There's a person. There's a deer. This
• 41:02
is how we have to do this. Without words, there's
• 41:05
probably an understanding of what we're saying and feeling. That's
• 41:10
probably why you get weird feelings from certain people. You're like, hmm,
• 41:15
I don't know about this guy. You're feeling something. There's
• 41:18
something there. You just don't know how to measure it.
• 41:21
Speaker 2: I think you are spot on. You could have written
• 41:23
my book for me. So there's a whole chapter in
• 41:26
  this book.
• 41:26
Speaker 1: That's definitely not true.
• 41:28
Speaker 2: There's a whole chapter in there that gives an 80,000-year
• 41:31
look at human communication from this point of wide-open frequency
• 41:36
bandwidth of telepathic communication down to text messages. And so
• 41:41
there's a linear decline that happens through these different steps
• 41:44
to the more and more abstract ways of communicating. And
• 41:47
when we stop feeling each other and we started, like
• 41:50
you say, you begin with tonal language before there's words.
• 41:53
You start to create tones that are representative, but you're
• 41:55
still giving a full sense. This is like me singing
• 41:58
an opera to you instead of like giving you a speech.
• 42:01
And so tonal language was giving us a full body
• 42:03
experience where you're listening beyond your auditory. The spoken word
• 42:07
was where we suddenly went straight to the mind. We
• 42:10
were no longer using the technology of the human body
• 42:12
and I was just going to speak. And this improved
• 42:14
efficiency very quickly. So this was the beginning of machine-like
• 42:17
behavior where we could stop feeling the body and we
• 42:19
could start mentally processing information. The brain jumped in size
• 42:23
and we started going through all of this iterations of
• 42:26
efficiency and optimization maybe is the way in which we
• 42:30
create empire. We create more control, more wealth, whatever we
• 42:33
were doing at the time. But there was these advantages
• 42:36
that looked good as we went from tonal to spoken word,
• 42:41
from spoken word to written word, from written word to
• 42:45
digital representations of words down to emojis.
• 42:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, Jamie thinks emojis are the next hieroglyphs. I think
• 42:53
he's right. I think he's got something there. Right? If
• 42:56
they get real good. I mean, it's kind of hieroglyphs.
• 42:59
  It's kind of similar.
• 43:00
Speaker 2: It's kind of similar. I would say that. But it's
• 43:02
the end of abstraction. So hieroglyphs. actually carry the information
• 43:06
in the form. And so the form of those shapes,
• 43:10
now we've, you know, some of the greatest minds on
• 43:13
the earth are starting to recognize that if you draw
• 43:16
one of those shapes and show it to a human mind,
• 43:18
it creates an incredible medical response. You can reverse inflammation,
• 43:22
all kinds of things by looking at the shape because
• 43:25
the shape is creating a waveform.
• 43:27
Speaker 1: Looking at the shape of certain hieroglyphs?
• 43:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, the shapes that are in Egyptian hieroglyphs are now
• 43:33
being used to to really change human biology. We're realizing
• 43:36
it was, it was not a symbolic representation of something.
• 43:39
It was a full transmission of information.
• 43:43
Speaker 1: Is there papers written on this?
• 43:46
Speaker 2: So Ibrahim is, uh, one of the greatest minds out there.
• 43:49
He's out of Egypt, Cairo, Egypt, and he's in his
• 43:53
eighties now. Um, and I'm going to connect you with
• 43:55
him cause you'd love to have him on the, on
• 43:56
the show. But he has been hired by large, you know,
• 44:01
groups and now Switzerland has hired him now to recode
• 44:03
their 5G network with these shapes to improve biology and
• 44:08
life around the 5G network, which I think is the
• 44:10
future of technologies. Technology is not bad. Technology is not
• 44:14
integrated in natural systems. And so Ibrahim is showing us
• 44:17
this pathway to understanding how these original shapes that are
• 44:21
represented within a lot of the hieroglyphs and things like
• 44:23
that in Egypt, but also really embedded in the actual
• 44:26
technology of the pyramids. It was a method of communication
• 44:30
that was beyond the human mind, beyond– it was a
• 44:34
  life force, a transmission.
• 44:35
Speaker 1: So it was doing something to you while you're understanding
• 44:40
the context of what the hieroglyphics is trying to communicate.
• 44:43
It's actually having a physiological experience. And anybody will have
• 44:47
this physiological experience even if you don't understand the context?
• 44:50
Speaker 2: There's no understanding involved. OK.
• 44:51
Speaker 1: So you just go there, stare at these things and
• 44:54
  it reduces inflammation?
• 44:55
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 44:56
Speaker 1: Is there anything on that online? Can we find something? Jamie,
• 44:59
how dare you laugh at that? But go deep, son.
• 45:04
  Speaker 2: I did.
• 45:05
Speaker 1: Put on the waders. I tried everything and it said
• 45:07
there's no link, but I'm looking harder. Do you know
• 45:09
of a good resource where we could find a link
• 45:12
to something like this? Because I'd like to know how
• 45:13
they measure the inflammation. I'm not opposed to believing that
• 45:17
  it's possible.
• 45:17
Speaker 2: Just look up Ibrahim Karim.
• 45:23
Speaker 1: This is his quote. It says, when two energy fields
• 45:26
are in resonance and exchange information, something happens after the
• 45:29
resonance is over. The two systems do not go back
• 45:32
to their original state. A sort of vibrational impregnation occurs,
• 45:37
which means that part of the new information leaves an
• 45:39
imprint on the energy system. Systems then are in constant
• 45:43
evolution through resonance or interaction. Well, that certainly seems to
• 45:48
  be what people are.
• 45:50
  Speaker 2: Perfect.
• 45:51
Speaker 1: It's a perfect, that whole system is, that description is
• 45:56
a perfect description of human beings.
• 45:59
  Speaker 2: I completely agree.
• 46:00
Speaker 1: Which is why it's so important to be around positive
• 46:03
people and happy people. It's like really good for you.
• 46:06
Being around shitheads is terrible for you. And terrible for
• 46:09
them too because they're not attracting any nice people because–
• 46:12
and then they're going to continue that behavior. They're stuck.
• 46:15
  But that's fascinating.
• 46:17
Speaker 2: Are you contributing your brain to medical science?
• 46:22
Speaker 1: Have you– Am I contributing it? In what manner?
• 46:25
Speaker 2: I think it would be very interesting to study you.
• 46:28
  Speaker 1: I would be?
• 46:29
Speaker 2: So there's a word that really captures the living force
• 46:33
out of that quote from Abraham and– It's a word
• 46:36
called biosis. And so the word biosis means and refers
• 46:40
to the interconnected relationships that make life possible. Your mind
• 46:47
is one of the funnest things to watch. And that's
• 46:49
why everybody watches. Because you come in with a curiosity,
• 46:53
which I think is the real key to being human.
• 46:56
You looked at that and you immediately said that's what
• 46:58
being human is. two energy fields that can impregnate each other.
• 47:02
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 47:03
Speaker 2: This podcast has been a 16-year impregnation inspired by your curiosity.
• 47:10
Speaker 1: Well, it's impregnated me as well. It's not like I'm
• 47:13
the one who... That's my point. Yeah.
• 47:14
Speaker 2: That's my point is you have made yourself available to
• 47:17
over and over again be impregnated. You are making your
• 47:21
whole body system available to new information. And a lot
• 47:25
of the people that are in here aren't like measured
• 47:27
as the smartest people on the planet and they're not
• 47:30
measured as the nicest people on the planet. You keep
• 47:34
attracting to yourself the ones that are going to challenge
• 47:36
your biology to stretch more, to grow more. You want
• 47:40
to grow so much that you created this whole system
• 47:43
for yourself. I'm intrigued by that soul. I'm intrigued by
• 47:47
somebody that would magnetize 100 million people to themselves, not
• 47:52
so that you can impress other people, but so you
• 47:54
can receive that much information that Ibrahim is talking about.
• 47:57
Speaker 1: Well, it's not intentional. It was never on purpose. The
• 48:01
podcast was just for fun. I don't think we made
• 48:04
money on it for years. It was just fun. It
• 48:07
was just fun to do. And in the beginning, it
• 48:09
was just talking with my friends.
• 48:12
Speaker 2: Why would that be separate from purpose?
• 48:14
Speaker 1: Well, I mean, it was purposeful in that it was
• 48:17
recreational and it was a community thing with our friends.
• 48:21
We would enjoy it because we always enjoyed doing like
• 48:24
morning radio together. We said it would be fun. The
• 48:26
technology exists now. We can kind of do this on
• 48:29
the internet. And then we had Graham Hancock on. So
• 48:32
my friend Duncan and I sat down with Graham Hancock,
• 48:35
which was– how many years ago was that? Was that
• 48:37
15 years ago? Yeah, it would have been 2011 I think.
• 48:41
Probably like 15 years ago. So he was the first–
• 48:43
I believe he was the first– it was either him
• 48:45
or Anthony Bourdain were the first real guest. I think
• 48:48
it was Graham. And all of a sudden now because
• 48:53
of this show– I can have people on and ask questions.
• 48:56
And I had already read Fingerprints of the Gods, and
• 48:58
I was a huge Graham Hancock fan. And all my
• 49:00
friends that studied actual history in college were always very
• 49:05
offended by my ideas that I would repeat.
• 49:07
Speaker 2: From time to time.
• 49:08
Speaker 1: That guy's a charlatan. Shut the fuck up. And I'd
• 49:11
be like, I think he's right. I think he's got
• 49:13
some points. So he was our first real guest. And
• 49:16
then from then, I realized that I could get guests
• 49:18
because the numbers started going. getting more and more people
• 49:21
were watching it. So I was like, oh, so now
• 49:23
I can just ask all these– like I got Neil
• 49:25
deGrasse Tyson on. I got all these different people on.
• 49:28
I was like, this guy seems interesting. Like what does
• 49:30
he do? Like I had knife makers on and I've
• 49:33
had beekeepers on. It's just like– it's just to me
• 49:36
it's a crazy opportunity to talk to fascinating people. And
• 49:40
I would love to do that even if it wasn't
• 49:42
a job. If I knew that three or four times
• 49:45
a week, even if it wasn't a job, no one
• 49:48
ever watched it. And I could just have a conversation
• 49:50
with an interesting person for a couple hours just sitting
• 49:53
across the table. So how did you start doing this?
• 49:55
And just pick their brain and find out, like, what's
• 49:59
their motivation? Like, what gets them excited? Why do they
• 50:02
like that kind of music? Like, why did you pick
• 50:04
that up? You know, what fascinates you about that? Like,
• 50:08
do you ever lose ambition? Do you ever, like, What
• 50:10
goes on in your head? And I think somewhere along
• 50:14
the line, I've realized that I'm kind of like an
• 50:17
antenna for all these other people and that as long
• 50:23
as it's pure in my mind, right, as long as
• 50:27
I'm only talking to people that I'm actually interested in
• 50:30
talking to. So there's no one who decides who is
• 50:34
on the show but me. There's no– executives that have
• 50:38
discussions there's no board meetings there's nothing there's nothing it's
• 50:42
my phone and I just I just go that guy
• 50:45
seems cool like or what is she talking about that's
• 50:48
nuts like is that real oh my god how did
• 50:50
she figure that out come on in and that's the
• 50:54
whole way I've always done it and I feel like
• 50:56
as long as I just do it that way then
• 50:59
people are getting they're getting a chance to experience it
• 51:03
with me because I'm being I'm just being me right
• 51:07
And which is I personally get great satisfaction out of
• 51:12
watching people do things that they enjoy, even if I
• 51:14
have no interest in those things. Like if I see
• 51:17
a guy who's like making cabinets and he's like really
• 51:20
into the polishing and the sanding, you can tell like
• 51:23
this guy's work is– he's very proud of his work.
• 51:26
He makes those seams nice and tight and sands it
• 51:28
all down and I'm watching him polish it and I'm
• 51:31
watching him put the stain on. I'm like, wow, that
• 51:33
guy made that with his hands. And he steps back
• 51:36
and he's polishing it with a microfiber cloth. And I
• 51:39
love that. I love when people are into things. I
• 51:41
love when people are fixing engines. I love when someone's
• 51:43
really into painting. I love people being into things. So
• 51:47
I'm an antenna for people that are really into things.
• 51:51
Speaker 2: I think that's exactly what Ibrahim was just describing in
• 51:54
that quote. We are antenna and we are receiving information
• 51:57
all the time. And the reason why it's so exciting
• 52:00
to be human is because our antenna has got a
• 52:03
broader– aperture to receive information than any other creature on
• 52:09
  earth so far.
• 52:09
Speaker 1: And then ever before, as far as we know on
• 52:12
this planet, at least. Yeah. But the pyramids, I want
• 52:14
to go back to that because, um, I don't know
• 52:18
if this is the smartest and the most advanced people
• 52:21
have ever been. I don't think it is. I really don't.
• 52:23
I think the pyramids are the perfect example of why
• 52:26
we should question that, that narrative. Uh, you know, we
• 52:30
want to put that in that place into a nice
• 52:32
cute little box and And all due respect to traditional archaeologists,
• 52:37
but you really can't. It's not physically possible to put
• 52:42
that place that supposedly was made 2,500 BC. That's the guess.
• 52:49
It's really kind of a guess because there's no hieroglyphs.
• 52:52
Speaker 2: Doesn't carbonate well that way.
• 52:54
Speaker 1: There's no hieroglyphs at all about the construction of it.
• 52:56
They don't show how they made it. They don't know
• 52:59
what the fuck it was. They don't know why it
• 53:01
has so much erosion in certain areas. They don't know
• 53:03
why it's been built on– there's other structures that are
• 53:05
built on top of older structures that are even more complex.
• 53:09
Like it makes no sense. It makes no sense. It
• 53:12
just makes no sense. When you're moving enormous statues that
• 53:17
are a thousand tons, how? How did you do that?
• 53:22
How did you get that thing? How did you move
• 53:24
it 400 miles? What the fuck are you guys doing?
• 53:27
You're doing something we can't do right now. As cocky
• 53:29
as we want to be, we don't have machines to
• 53:32
do that right now. So why would we believe that
• 53:37
they were primitive? Why would we believe that they were
• 53:39
commensurate with the rest of what we think the world
• 53:42
was 4,500 years ago? Because that's crazy. It makes no sense.
• 53:47
That alone, just Egypt alone, it's like, What were those
• 53:50
people in Africa doing? Because whatever the fuck they were doing,
• 53:53
it's above and beyond anything anyone's doing right now. 2,300,000
• 53:59
stones that perfectly aligned a true north, south, east and west. How?
• 54:05
  Speaker 2: Biology.
• 54:06
  Speaker 1: Biology.
• 54:08
Speaker 2: It had to be a living system that would create
• 54:11
something that intelligent. The reason why we can't build them
• 54:14
today is we keep trying to invent machines to do
• 54:17
our work. biology is what did it and Ibrahim sitting
• 54:21
there in Cairo, Egypt right now will tell you the
• 54:23
way that they built these things was through waveform and
• 54:26
the antenna and not just for receiving transmission that created
• 54:31
the energy to create the pyramids was coming from bodies,
• 54:34
  not machines.
• 54:34
Speaker 1: But they certainly had some machines because there's these core
• 54:38
drills that they find that they don't understand how they
• 54:42
could have ever had something that moved at those RPMs
• 54:45
to make those kind of circles. It's drilling into this
• 54:48
insanely hard granite, like there's some technology involved. Water.
• 54:53
Speaker 2: Water. Biology and water together. So biology is ultimately carbon
• 54:58
and water. It is a massive energetic potential that survives
• 55:04
and concentrates between the magic of carbon and water. I
• 55:08
would love to show you a couple slides of where
• 55:10
I think we are as humans because you just uncovered
• 55:12
the most important reality is let's keep very strong anchor
• 55:16
in the fact that human biology, we can call them humans,
• 55:19
we can call them Egyptians, we can call them whatever
• 55:21
we want. But there was people of our size and
• 55:24
our scale that were doing things on the planet very recently, 5,000, 10,000
• 55:28
years ago. Those Ochoa have been doing their thing in
• 55:30
the jungle for 40,000 years. So this is recent history.
• 55:34
This isn't some like figment of our imagination that King
• 55:36
Solomon's right in that timeframe. We have written history just
• 55:41
after this time period, but there was an amnesia event.
• 55:43
There was something that happened globally where we lost connection.
• 55:47
We lost the signal around 5,000 to 7,000 years ago globally.
• 55:51
Peoples all over the earth suddenly got disconnected from their intelligence,
• 55:55
and we see this massive event of loss of life
• 55:57
or disappearance of life. So you have the Aztecs and Mayans, Incas.
• 56:02
You got all these– Systems that had been thousands of
• 56:05
years building incredibly complex underground labyrinths that go for tens
• 56:09
of thousands of kilometers or things that we can't even
• 56:13
wrap our heads around right now was being done all
• 56:15
over the world, not just in Cairo, Egypt. The pyramids
• 56:19
off the coast of Japan are way bigger than what
• 56:21
was going on in Egypt. And so we had pyramids
• 56:23
all over the freaking planet that were technologies that were
• 56:27
concentrating energy. And I can– I'm going to go back
• 56:30
to my own lived experience here so we're not like
• 56:32
philosophically– getting into any space that starts to sound woo-woo.
• 56:36
I want to ground this back.
• 56:40
  Speaker 1: Too late. We're woo-woo, bro. We're on woo-woo Maine. We're
• 56:44
on Main Street in woo-woo-ville. We're running red lights, son.
• 56:49
  Speaker 2: Let's go.
• 56:50
  Speaker 1: Let's go.
• 56:50
Speaker 2: That's my favorite thing to do. As long as I'm
• 56:53
not 55 Chevy behind the wheel.
• 56:55
Speaker 1: I can tell you like running red lights in woo-woo-ville.
• 56:59
I want to bring you back because you said something
• 57:00
and I have to understand what you were saying. And
• 57:02
you said biology and water. So clearly they had tools, right?
• 57:08
So clearly they're using a tool to make these cores
• 57:12
  out of the granite.
• 57:14
Speaker 2: So I want to back up. I think we just
• 57:17
need to contextualize life because we get into the risk
• 57:20
of like starting to core down on that idea and
• 57:22
that idea and that idea. And we can't find our context.
• 57:26
So if we contextualize this conversation, what life is, then
• 57:30
we can get to pyramids. Then we can get to
• 57:32
UFOs and UAPs and everything else that's going on right
• 57:35
now that's starting to force us to be like, wait,
• 57:37
we don't have the whole story. And so this is
• 57:40
my favorite thing about being live right now is there's
• 57:41
just too much evidence that the story that we've been
• 57:44
taught in schools is correct. It's just falling apart now.
• 57:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's falling apart.
• 57:48
Speaker 2: That's exciting. But the reason why we have things rushing
• 57:52
into this space as new solutions that are just distracting
• 57:56
us from actually stepping into our full potency is because
• 58:00
we still are not allowing context to come back. And
• 58:02
so I would love to contextualize the conversation first.
• 58:05
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 58:06
Speaker 2: And then let's go down these.
• 58:07
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 58:07
Speaker 2: Okay. If you've got that first slide of mine, we
• 58:11
can start at the most fundamental level of understanding what
• 58:15
life is. And this took me. 25 years of basic
• 58:19
science laboratory work to finally get my mind clear and
• 58:23
out of the way to what you said, be the
• 58:25
antenna for the information. What is it trying to show us?
• 58:29
And ultimately, when you look across these images across this
• 58:32
top of the slide, we've got the sun up top.
• 58:35
The sun is the most potent energetic thing that physics does.
• 58:39
It's nuclear and fission and fusion. And these things we
• 58:42
call stars. And there's roughly 10 billion stars per galaxy.
• 58:47
We've got somewhere around 2.5 trillion galaxies. So there's a
• 58:51
lot of energy being pumped out in the universe by
• 58:53
a sun. But that little innovation just to its right
• 58:56
at the top is chlorophyll. And chlorophyll begins a process
• 59:00
of concentration of light energy. And so this is where
• 59:03
we start to see more light per cubic centimeter than
• 59:07
nuclear fission and fusion can produce. They can then pass
• 59:10
that information in the form of energy onto bacteria and fungi.
• 59:15
Bacteria and fungi then support more green life. And so
• 59:18
we go from moss and slime molds to trees eventually.
• 59:23
And so there's this constant feedback loop of concentrations of
• 59:26
energy The more energy per cubic centimeter you have, the
• 59:30
more opportunity you have for communication. The word biosis, again,
• 59:35
refers to the interconnected relationships that make life possible. If
• 59:40
you've been in a long-term relationship before, like longer than
• 59:42
a weekend, you got a sense of how much energy
• 59:47
it takes to maintain a relationship. There's nothing you do
• 59:50
in life that takes more energy than maintaining a family
• 59:53
and your spouse and kids or whatever you got around you.
• 59:56
That's because communication is required for co-collaboration, co-creation. And so
• 1:00:03
energy has to be concentrated at higher and higher, higher
• 1:00:07
levels for life to do more and more and more
• 1:00:09
complex things. A couple billion years ago on the planet,
• 1:00:12
we have evidence that bacteria and fungi made their transition.
• 1:00:15
So bacteria, single-celled organisms, suddenly gave an increase in concentration
• 1:00:22
through an innovation of doing fermentation outside of the body.
• 1:00:25
So bacteria ferment carbohydrates and fats. They use a non-oxygen-related
• 1:00:32
breakdown process to break carbon bonds. All of that sunlight
• 1:00:35
is being stored in carbon. And so one carbon bonds
• 1:00:39
to the next, storing a photon of electromagnetic energy between them.
• 1:00:43
That's a carbon bond. So when you hear of a carbohydrate,
• 1:00:47
that's a whole string of carbons that's storing sunlight. A
• 1:00:51
fatty acid, another long string of carbons holding sunlight. So
• 1:00:55
the innovation of life was, can we store enough energy
• 1:00:58
that it can be released in these exponential levels of
• 1:01:03
energy per cubic centimeter? And the more that life innovated
• 1:01:06
that process, the more complex life got. So bacteria, single-celled organisms,
• 1:01:10
can't really collaborate, but they can build an ecosystem of nutrients.
• 1:01:15
Fungi figured out that they could actually get way more
• 1:01:17
fermentation if they exuded the enzymes out of their body
• 1:01:21
to make the whole nature around them the stomach. And
• 1:01:24
so they outsourced the fermentation process to the soil around them.
• 1:01:29
And suddenly there was so much more energy available. So
• 1:01:31
they started to build whole networks of single-celled organisms that
• 1:01:35
were now collaborating. We call these hyphae and pseudophyphae, the
• 1:01:38
mycelial network of the fungal kingdom. They can go for
• 1:01:41
miles and they're still single-celled organisms, but they're collaborating now
• 1:01:45
because they have so much more energy because they're doing
• 1:01:47
all that fermentation outside the body. So they're not limited
• 1:01:49
to what can be done inside the cell. The next
• 1:01:53
innovation that just blew everything out was the innovation of mitochondria.
• 1:01:57
So that little mitochondria represented up in that glowing cell
• 1:02:00
right above the baby there. Mitochondria are small bacteria that
• 1:02:03
live inside human cells. The average human cell has 200 mitochondria.
• 1:02:07
A neuron has 2,000 mitochondria in its neural head. 2,000
• 1:02:12
of those little bacteria living inside of a human cell.
• 1:02:15
And that's actually two microbes put into one. So it's
• 1:02:18
a little tiny methane-producing bacterium that was swallowed by an archaea,
• 1:02:22
a big bacteria. And they started collaborating in a big
• 1:02:25
innovation that was respiratory energy production. So we suddenly added
• 1:02:29
oxygen and hydrogen to the process that used to be fermentation.
• 1:02:33
So now we have respiratory energy production in the form
• 1:02:36
of mitochondria. And that was a 10x improvement in energy,
• 1:02:40
light energy per cubic centimeter. And then we suddenly got
• 1:02:43
multicellular life. And so it was protozoa into parasites, into nematodes,
• 1:02:47
into worms, into everything we have. So life has been
• 1:02:51
stacking in complexity with direct relationship of how much energy
• 1:02:55
per cubic centimeter exists there. The energy is predicting the outcome.
• 1:03:00
It's not some organism comes along and says, well, I'm
• 1:03:02
going to take over because I'm smarter and more connected.
• 1:03:07
Every time we've seen an innovation in nature, it's because
• 1:03:10
preceding that moment, there was an innovation in increasing the
• 1:03:13
amount of Biosis, the amount of interconnected relationships inside a
• 1:03:16
single organism. Eventually, you get to a human. A human
• 1:03:20
has more life within it than any other niche of
• 1:03:23
nature on this planet. Amazon jungle, coral reefs, any other mammal.
• 1:03:28
The human colon and the body systems around it contain
• 1:03:31
more biodiversity, more interconnected relationships than any other system on
• 1:03:35
the planet. This is more biosis, more life, more energy
• 1:03:39
per cubic centimeter. And what we get to start to
• 1:03:41
recognize now as our neurobiology of the gut starts to
• 1:03:44
work through our levels of understanding, we're starting to realize
• 1:03:47
there is no such thing as human intelligence. There's a
• 1:03:50
human brain that is an antenna for all of nature
• 1:03:53
to speak to. And so we have the most complicated
• 1:03:57
antenna system of any organism on Earth. And just 10
• 1:04:01
minutes ago, you sat there saying, you know, I think
• 1:04:02
I'm actually an antenna. So this is the process that
• 1:04:07
takes to great life. And 70 years ago, we started
• 1:04:10
a new era of humanity called the antibiotic era. And
• 1:04:13
it innovated with penicillin in the 1940s. But then it
• 1:04:16
became herbicides and pesticides and took us into a massive
• 1:04:19
journey of destroying biosis. The word antibiotic is truth in advertising.
• 1:04:26
To be antibiosis, to be antibiotic, is to be against,
• 1:04:31
to disrupt, to destroy the interconnected relationships that make life possible.
• 1:04:35
And so if this is right, which... I don't expect
• 1:04:38
you to believe yet, but if this is right, I
• 1:04:40
should be able to map to you the exact way
• 1:04:43
in which we've landed at this moment, which is at
• 1:04:45
the crippled point of human biology, globally, chronic disease, epidemics, infertility,
• 1:04:51
threatening the very survival of our species. So I'm going
• 1:04:53
to take you through the last 50 years and look
• 1:04:55
at the human race just as a metabolic framework. And
• 1:04:59
we'll see if we can make some sense out of it.
• 1:05:00
Speaker 1: Okay, let's do it. I like it. Um, it is, uh,
• 1:05:06
Very fascinating that we've gotten to where we are right
• 1:05:08
now and that we know as much as we know.
• 1:05:11
And yet we still are doing things like extensive use
• 1:05:15
of pesticides and herbicides and even when they're not necessary,
• 1:05:19
like the drying of wheat with it, which is crazy.
• 1:05:22
Like you're not even using it for its intended purpose.
• 1:05:26
You're using it as a desiccator so you can dry
• 1:05:29
out the wheat and process it quicker. What the fuck
• 1:05:32
are you doing? And then you're poisoning people unnecessarily because
• 1:05:34
  of this.
• 1:05:36
Speaker 2: See, this is why I love being with you, Joe,
• 1:05:38
is because, like, you say the things that I wish
• 1:05:40
I would be able to say the last 40 years.
• 1:05:42
  Speaker 1: That way?
• 1:05:44
Speaker 2: That's all I really want to tell the EPA when
• 1:05:46
  I testify.
• 1:05:46
Speaker 1: In front of the government. We're crazy. Well, someone probably
• 1:05:49
should have someone like me do it. I'm not the guy,
• 1:05:51
but someone should say it that way because that's really
• 1:05:54
what it is. Like, you're poisoning people. And the really
• 1:05:57
nutty thing is the reason why they didn't do the
• 1:06:01
ban on glyphosate because it would have a devastating impact
• 1:06:07
on our society, on our economy, because all these businesses
• 1:06:12
would close and go under, and they would lose billions
• 1:06:14
and billions of dollars. Think of that. Think of where
• 1:06:17
we are right now, where our food supply relies on
• 1:06:22
poison to function. If we take the poison out, it
• 1:06:26
can't function. I don't know what to tell you, but
• 1:06:29
there's only one way to do it. We have to
• 1:06:32
poison you. That is really wild that anybody would accept that.
• 1:06:37
I mean you could have all your fucking lobbyists. Everyone
• 1:06:40
sits in front of those microphones with notes and they
• 1:06:44
all have some preposterous way of framing it. But that's
• 1:06:47
really what it is. You're saying the food supply relies
• 1:06:52
on poison. And if we take away the poison, we'll
• 1:06:55
  fall apart.
• 1:06:57
  Speaker 2: That's actually true.
• 1:06:59
  Speaker 1: That's crazy.
• 1:07:00
Speaker 2: But let me show you why. Because it's not actually
• 1:07:02
the food system that's about to fall apart. It's the
• 1:07:06
  medical system.
• 1:07:07
  Speaker 1: Oh.
• 1:07:08
Speaker 2: And so the thing that relies on chemical food is
• 1:07:11
not the money we're making from food systems. It's the
• 1:07:13
money we're making from the medical system.
• 1:07:15
Speaker 1: Well, isn't it both?
• 1:07:17
  Speaker 2: Isn't it?
• 1:07:18
Speaker 1: It's got to be both. It's got to be both.
• 1:07:19
Because I know for a fact the pesticide manufacturers, they
• 1:07:24
work very hard to make sure that the politicians are
• 1:07:28
  very happy. Yeah.
• 1:07:30
Speaker 2: Biosis interconnected relationships that make life possible. And so when.
• 1:07:34
Speaker 1: Bayer owns Monsanto, right?
• 1:07:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, so Bayer purchased that recently and they've been at
• 1:07:39
this for a long, long time. Bayer started to investigate
• 1:07:43
the impact of interconnected relationships on human biology and fertility
• 1:07:48
in the 1940s. We call it World War II and
• 1:07:51
concentration camps, but that's where the studies really started getting
• 1:07:54
set up was understanding the relationship between microbiome The output products,
• 1:08:00
amino acids specifically, that support human life.
• 1:08:03
Speaker 1: So Bayer was involved in the concentration camps?
• 1:08:06
Speaker 2: They were bought by a company called FK Pharmaceuticals in
• 1:08:09
Germany in the 1930s. And then they got spun back
• 1:08:12
out as Bayer after the war with the collapse of
• 1:08:15
the Third Reich. And they're hardly alone in this. Companies
• 1:08:19
all over the world at the time were studying these
• 1:08:22
interconnected relationships because there was a lot of progress being
• 1:08:25
made in the 1930s and 40s all the way back
• 1:08:27
to the 1800s. of understanding that humans are an expression
• 1:08:31
of a complex ecosystem. They're not just this isolated system.
• 1:08:35
And so it was Louis Pasteur who kind of won
• 1:08:38
the argument of nature's against us, germs are attacking us,
• 1:08:42
all of that. So that really kind of doubled down
• 1:08:45
on this belief that Nature is opposed to humans and
• 1:08:49
we have to survive by sterilizing our environment. So pasteurization
• 1:08:53
is rooted in his name, Louis Pasteur.
• 1:08:55
  Speaker 1: Right, right.
• 1:08:56
Speaker 2: So we start pasteurizing with the idea that if there's
• 1:08:59
any life inside of what we're consuming, it could compete
• 1:09:02
  with the human life.
• 1:09:03
Speaker 1: That is one of the nuttiest things that they've passed
• 1:09:08
on society, that they've passed this idea that if you
• 1:09:11
don't homogenize and pasteurize your milk, that you're in danger.
• 1:09:15
And I don't know if you've ever seen some of
• 1:09:18
these gaslighting articles. But some lady– I wish I saved it.
• 1:09:22
Somebody made a great TikTok about it today or an
• 1:09:25
Instagram reel where she was explaining relative risk versus actual
• 1:09:30
risk and how these articles are framed to show you like,
• 1:09:34
oh my god, this is so dangerous and that people
• 1:09:37
who drink raw milk are like 860 percent more likely
• 1:09:43
to get sick. But it's like versus people who drink
• 1:09:47
homogenized milk, well, how many people get sick off milk?
• 1:09:50
And then you find the actual number and it's like 1,300
• 1:09:53
a year or something like that. I forget what it was. 13,000
• 1:09:56
a year feel bad because they drank bad milk. And
• 1:09:59
out of those, how many of those were drinking raw milk? Well,
• 1:10:03
it was like more likely that it was raw. So
• 1:10:05
then it's still only a few thousand people.
• 1:10:07
Speaker 2: By the time you find something that actually got harmed
• 1:10:09
by it, you're down to six people. Exactly, which is.
• 1:10:12
Speaker 1: Like one of those really nutty things that people do.
• 1:10:17
Instead of saying this is what's dangerous about raw milk,
• 1:10:22
don't drink it when it's spoiled. But also that's yogurt.
• 1:10:26
That's yogurt. And you should have yogurt because it's important
• 1:10:29
to have good acidophilus and all the cultures, the live cultures.
• 1:10:33
  Speaker 2: It's probiotics.
• 1:10:34
Speaker 1: But don't drink raw milk because raw milk, you'll die.
• 1:10:36
I've never heard of a fucking single person who drank
• 1:10:38
  raw milk.
• 1:10:40
  Speaker 2: Who died?
• 1:10:41
Speaker 1: I had a joke about it in my act a
• 1:10:42
long time ago. Like if milk takes you out, like
• 1:10:48
my grandfather ate cigarettes and he lived to be a thousand.
• 1:10:50
That was the joke. But it was like milk took
• 1:10:53
you out, you fucking pussy. Like it's not– no one
• 1:10:58
is dying from milk. Shut the fuck up. There's– people
• 1:11:01
get food poisoning. It happens a lot. And one of
• 1:11:04
the things is it's runoff from industrialized farms that get
• 1:11:09
into people's vegetables. It's a lot of vegetables, a lot
• 1:11:13
of salads. People get food poisoning from salads unfortunately.
• 1:11:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, there was an interesting– project that was put into
• 1:11:21
motion around i think it was late teens when the u.s
• 1:11:25
government suddenly realized oh my gosh terrorists could attack us
• 1:11:28
through salad bars they could poison these salad bars so
• 1:11:31
easily and we could just you know thousands of people
• 1:11:36
those have been long deployed that's an ancient technology the
• 1:11:38
  sneeze guard.
• 1:11:40
Speaker 1: Ancient technology is so ridiculous.
• 1:11:42
Speaker 2: Even the ancient egyptians use those i'm pretty sure but
• 1:11:46
you've got this situation where they went out to see
• 1:11:48
like tests like what happened if you put salmonella in
• 1:11:52
these things and everything else. The conclusion of the whole
• 1:11:54
study two years later is it'd be impossible to make
• 1:11:57
salad bars any more toxic than they are now. Every
• 1:12:02
pathogen you've ever heard of is already there.
• 1:12:04
Speaker 1: Oh, for sure. As soon as you let a bunch
• 1:12:05
of people touch stuff and most people use their fingers,
• 1:12:07
they're gross. What is a salad? What is the thing
• 1:12:11
that people get food sickness off the most? What's the
• 1:12:16
highest percentage of In terms of like what kind of food? Yeah,
• 1:12:22
probably be like oysters, right? Like raw oysters or something. No,
• 1:12:24
  I bet it's greens.
• 1:12:25
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 1:12:26
Speaker 1: I'll be interested to see what your assertion shows. But
• 1:12:29
if it is salad, it's not the actual greens itself.
• 1:12:31
It's the toxic shit. It's actual shit that gets on them.
• 1:12:36
And then it's also like whatever they're using.
• 1:12:38
Speaker 2: It's the irrigation of the lettuces that are the problem.
• 1:12:41
We can create artificial water systems that start to brew
• 1:12:43
these things. But I think, you know, the... If we
• 1:12:46
back up for a second, like we're hitting on something
• 1:12:48
so exciting here is that if we can understand that
• 1:12:51
life is a concentration of light energy, we can start
• 1:12:55
to understand everything. And we can start to innovate for
• 1:12:58
restoring our relationship to nature. We can become a keystone
• 1:13:01
species again. And so I want to take a quick
• 1:13:04
look at the last 50 years of antibiotic use. To
• 1:13:07
your point, herbicides and pesticides, this thing that we're highly
• 1:13:10
  dependent on as an economy.
• 1:13:11
Speaker 1: 100%, but we can't leave people hanging. So let's find
• 1:13:14
out what's the actual— Just put it in perplexity. Yeah,
• 1:13:16
I said what food causes the most food poisoning, and
• 1:13:18
the answer is just like foods that are contaminated. Raw
• 1:13:23
undercooked poultry, that makes sense. Ground beef, other undercooked meats
• 1:13:26
commonly linked to toxin-producing E. coli, leafy greens, and other
• 1:13:31
raw vegetables. So they don't have like a percentage. Raw
• 1:13:36
or undercooked shellfish, raw or undercooked eggs, unpasteurized milk, and
• 1:13:42
soft cheeses. Yeah, those are dangerous. Serious. Look, serious pathogens
• 1:13:48
like listeria and salmonella. Okay. So there's no data that
• 1:13:55
shows exactly what people get sick the most from. So
• 1:13:59
your point. Go back to where you wanted to go from.
• 1:14:02
Speaker 2: So you talked about the herbicides and pesticides. So this
• 1:14:05
started with the green revolution in the 1960s where we
• 1:14:07
started to believe that the Midwest could start to feed
• 1:14:10
the world. We were going to eliminate hunger by chemical farming.
• 1:14:13
So I want to repeat that sentence. We decided we
• 1:14:15
were going to eliminate hunger by chemical farming.
• 1:14:18
Speaker 1: And that was only in the 1950s?
• 1:14:19
Speaker 2: The 50s is where we really took off with it.
• 1:14:22
That's crazy. At the end of World War II, we
• 1:14:25
had a massive glut of oil. And so we had
• 1:14:28
revved up the whole global oil and fossil fuel machine
• 1:14:32
to supply the global war machine. We had planes, tanks
• 1:14:35
everywhere the first time. World War II ends, suddenly there's
• 1:14:38
an enormous overload of oil, and oil companies need a
• 1:14:42
new revenue source. And this had begun in the 1905-10
• 1:14:47
phase with the Rockefellers. The largest oil-producing families in the
• 1:14:51
world suddenly realized, wait a second, these carbon molecules can
• 1:14:54
be reinvented into something much more valuable. And so we
• 1:14:58
can sell a gallon of oil for 22 cents back then,
• 1:15:04
or we can take those and start to break out
• 1:15:07
through chemical processing, carbon molecules that can start to affect biology.
• 1:15:11
And so we could start making drugs that affect these things.
• 1:15:15
And so the Flexner Report comes out in 1910 that
• 1:15:17
basically demonizes and laughs out herbalism and 10,000 years of
• 1:15:23
traditional medicine and says that it's this new technology of
• 1:15:27
small carbon molecules that's the future of– it's the only
• 1:15:31
advanced form of medical care. And so we started into
• 1:15:35
this belief that it was going to be chemical derivatives
• 1:15:37
of fossil fuels that were not going to just treat diseases,
• 1:15:40
but they were also going to grow our crops.
• 1:15:41
Speaker 1: It was Rockefeller that did this, right?
• 1:15:43
Speaker 2: Rockefeller has funded the Flexner Report, which was Dr. Flexner's
• 1:15:47
big report that said, you know, here's the future and here's,
• 1:15:50
  you know, kind of.
• 1:15:51
Speaker 1: And he had massive investments in oil.
• 1:15:54
Speaker 2: Rockefeller built the whole system. So he built standard oil
• 1:15:56
that would then get broken up through the monopolies into
• 1:15:59
ExxonMobil and the rest, Shell, et cetera. So you've got...
• 1:16:03
You know, the situation where it's lived through to today.
• 1:16:07
And so something like the chemotherapies that were around, there's
• 1:16:12
one called vincristine, which is a classic chemotherapy used for
• 1:16:15
a whole host of common cancers. And vincristine is a
• 1:16:19
natural compound derived from life. And so it's biologically made
• 1:16:23
by algae and things like this. And so it's similar
• 1:16:26
to oil where it's just a carbon substrate, but it's
• 1:16:30
still in this living form. But it's creating this strange
• 1:16:32
carbon molecule called vincristine. So it's made in algae. It's
• 1:16:35
present in algae. Instead of saying, hey, here's a biologic
• 1:16:38
system that we should look at, like maybe this should
• 1:16:41
be in our soil systems. Maybe we should be growing
• 1:16:43
food that had this therapeutic effect, this anti-cancer effect. And
• 1:16:47
instead they said, no, no, no. Let's separate the algae
• 1:16:50
from nature and let's create huge vats of this and
• 1:16:52
we will chemically extract the vincristine. Vincristine today is sold
• 1:16:56
for $ 28, 000 a gram. And so the same thing was
• 1:17:00
done with oil. We can take something that's worth 20
• 1:17:03
cents and we can turn it into $ 28, 000 if we
• 1:17:07
manipulate these molecules and then make a story of this
• 1:17:10
treats a disease that's attacking humanity. And so that's how
• 1:17:14
the antibiotic, anti-cancer, anti-diabetes, anti-obesity, anti-everything has come about is
• 1:17:19
let's invent chemicals that solve a problem that doesn't even
• 1:17:24
really exist. And so this is where we start to
• 1:17:27
slip into this massive abstraction of We get so good
• 1:17:30
at solving problems that shouldn't even exist or maybe don't
• 1:17:33
even exist. And so this was the slippery slope that
• 1:17:36
we set into in 1910s that then accelerated like anything
• 1:17:39
in the 1950s. So in the 1950s, you'll remember we
• 1:17:42
had penicillin in late World War II. So penicillin was
• 1:17:46
the first direct antibiotic and it was a revolution. It
• 1:17:49
was so exciting. So kids in the 1940s and 50s
• 1:17:52
were getting an injection in their butt for anything, common cold, sneeze,
• 1:17:55
red eyes, penicillin. So we were giving out these antibiotics thinking, well,
• 1:17:59
we're going to sterilize humans finally. And humans are once
• 1:18:02
sterile because Louis Pasteur's late 1800s telling us germs were
• 1:18:06
the only thing that was really killing humans. If we
• 1:18:08
eliminate germs, humans are going to just thrive. And so
• 1:18:11
the idea that we now had antibiotics, anti-small things that
• 1:18:15
aren't human, we would finally become healthy again.
• 1:18:19
Speaker 1: Right. But if people did get infected with syphilis back then,
• 1:18:22
antibiotics like penicillin would cure them. It would.
• 1:18:26
Speaker 2: So it would eliminate the symptom of syphilis. But syphilis
• 1:18:29
wasn't a disease. Syphilis was a symptom of a degradation
• 1:18:32
of healthy biologic interconnected relationships. And that was being argued
• 1:18:36
back then. In the late 1800s, arguing with Pasteur over
• 1:18:40
decades of really well-published stuff, you've got.
• 1:18:44
Speaker 1: So can I stop you there? So you're saying that
• 1:18:46
the people got syphilis because their system was compromised. No.
• 1:18:50
not because syphilis is particularly dangerous. So did some people
• 1:18:54
not get syphilis that were alive back then, that were
• 1:18:57
in contact with it? I mean how contagious was it?
• 1:18:59
And is it because their bodies were unhealthy and their
• 1:19:02
immune systems weren't functioning correctly because they were malnourished, because
• 1:19:06
they didn't get enough nutrients? Like what– Because a lot
• 1:19:10
of it was the aristocracy. Like you would think they're
• 1:19:12
  the most well-fed.
• 1:19:14
Speaker 2: They're the most separated from nature.
• 1:19:16
  Speaker 1: That too, right?
• 1:19:17
Speaker 2: They're the ones that aren't gardening. They're the ones that
• 1:19:19
aren't out in the back. They're the ones that are
• 1:19:21
separated from nature and have technology called convenience pushed around
• 1:19:24
them on many, many layers. So they're the ones not
• 1:19:27
touching the soil. They're the ones not making the bricks.
• 1:19:29
They're the ones not building the houses.
• 1:19:31
Speaker 1: They were also drinking a lot and partying.
• 1:19:33
Speaker 2: Because they weren't feeling anything. So they went after chemicals
• 1:19:37
to feel something. And this is where I think this
• 1:19:40
whole give everybody half a million dollars and they'll be happy.
• 1:19:44
  Speaker 1: No.
• 1:19:44
Speaker 2: It's going to isolate them further. They're going to numb
• 1:19:46
them down and all it's going to create is drug
• 1:19:48
addiction on the highest levels we have ever seen.
• 1:19:50
Speaker 1: If they function the way people function today. But that
• 1:19:54
was my point is if we educate children to not
• 1:19:56
be in pursuit of money but instead think of money
• 1:20:00
as something that provides you with food and shelter and
• 1:20:02
basic needs and you don't have to worry about any
• 1:20:04
of that stuff anymore. Now what you need to do
• 1:20:06
is worry about being a person, worry about finding something
• 1:20:09
that's fascinating and get an education just for your own
• 1:20:13
sake of fueling your curiosity. Learn things. Grow. Pick projects.
• 1:20:20
Do things you want to do. Start taking– learning a
• 1:20:24
musical instrument. Do something that you find fascinating because you
• 1:20:27
don't have to spend your time just working anymore. Isn't
• 1:20:31
  that possible?
• 1:20:32
Speaker 2: You just said a word that I want to go
• 1:20:34
back to that's so important. You said, here's enough money
• 1:20:37
to provide you food, shelter, and anything else you need.
• 1:20:41
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 1:20:43
Speaker 2: Does money really provide food, shelter, or does nature provide it?
• 1:20:49
Speaker 1: Well, you use nature to make a house like cement
• 1:20:53
  doesn't exist in a vacuum.
• 1:20:54
Speaker 2: The Ochoa tribe have been building their houses for 40,000 years.
• 1:20:57
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 1:20:58
Speaker 2: No money. They've literally not had money.
• 1:21:00
Speaker 1: Right, but they live in the jungle, right? If you
• 1:21:02
live in Arizona, you better have a fucking house. You
• 1:21:04
  better have air conditioning too.
• 1:21:07
Speaker 2: Have you visited the Aboriginal brothers down in Australia? Every
• 1:21:12
bit as hot and brutal as no houses for 40,000 years.
• 1:21:16
They lived absolutely fine without money.
• 1:21:19
Speaker 1: That's not ideal. It's not ideal to be outside when
• 1:21:22
it's 110 degrees and you're just suffering. I'm sure if
• 1:21:24
those people had air conditioning, they'd go, ooh, this is
• 1:21:26
  way better.
• 1:21:27
Speaker 2: That's exactly what happened.
• 1:21:29
Speaker 1: They got air conditioning and then what happened?
• 1:21:30
Speaker 2: You give them air conditioning, they come out of nature.
• 1:21:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, but always? I mean, it's the only way? Like
• 1:21:37
people are so dumb, they can't be educated to the
• 1:21:39
fact that there's a bunch of things that you have
• 1:21:41
  to satisfy.
• 1:21:42
  Speaker 2: It's not intelligence. It's comfort.
• 1:21:44
  Speaker 1: Comfort.
• 1:21:45
  Speaker 2: It's subconscious.
• 1:21:46
Speaker 1: Right, but can't you teach people that they should just
• 1:21:49
seek comfort? Because I learned that. People can learn that.
• 1:21:53
Like everybody is like naturally inclined to seek comfort. But
• 1:21:56
if you do that too much, you'll just– you become
• 1:21:59
soft and you atrophy and you get bored, depressed. And
• 1:22:02
that's a real problem with people. We need tasks. We
• 1:22:05
are task-oriented, goal-oriented creatures. We like stuff. We like to
• 1:22:09
do things. We like to do puzzles. We like to
• 1:22:12
  play games. We're fascinated.
• 1:22:14
Speaker 2: So I've been building stuff since I was a kid.
• 1:22:16
Speaker 1: Yeah. People love building stuff.
• 1:22:17
Speaker 2: I had the best life ever because I was born poor.
• 1:22:20
And so I grew up in government housing in– Colorado. 1973,
• 1:22:24
the Vietnam War was just ending, and a bunch of
• 1:22:29
the Hmong people of Cambodia were displaced because of Agent Orange,
• 1:22:34
a chemical that is immediately a cousin to glyphosate, the
• 1:22:39
chemical we're going to talk about.
• 1:22:39
Speaker 1: Is it really? Agent Orange is a carbazine?
• 1:22:42
Speaker 2: They're the same class. They're both organophosphate molecules, and so
• 1:22:46
I'll get into that story a little later, but Nonetheless,
• 1:22:48
this peoples of the Hmong were displaced because we dumped
• 1:22:51
it all over Cambodia and North Vietnam to make bare
• 1:22:55
the Ho Chi Minh Trail so we could from the
• 1:22:57
air see our enemy and kill more people. We turned
• 1:23:01
an entire jungle system into a complete moonscape, not a
• 1:23:04
single living life form left after 25 years of Agent Orange.
• 1:23:07
Speaker 1: Trevor Burrus If you go back there right now, it's
• 1:23:09
  still like that?
• 1:23:09
Speaker 2: No, it is fully recovered because biology has been allowed
• 1:23:12
to return. We created so much disease in that place
• 1:23:15
that humans were displaced. As soon as humans step out
• 1:23:18
of the kind of extractive relationship.
• 1:23:21
Speaker 1: Nature rushes back. So the aged orange, it's not like
• 1:23:24
a permanent chemical that stays in the soil?
• 1:23:26
Speaker 2: There's no such thing as a permanent chemical. Forever chemicals?
• 1:23:30
  Speaker 1: Those forever chemicals?
• 1:23:31
Speaker 2: Forever chemicals are measured without life. If you put biology
• 1:23:36
back in a system, it will heal itself, period. And
• 1:23:39
that's my promise to humanity that everything is perfect. the
• 1:23:42
stress that we're putting on this planet right now with
• 1:23:45
these herbicides, pesticides, antibiotics, everything we're doing right now. I
• 1:23:47
want to keep this in the context of everything is perfect.
• 1:23:50
I'm going to keep drilling this home until we get there.
• 1:23:52
But it's going to be an interesting journey because first
• 1:23:54
we have to look at how much suffering have we
• 1:23:56
created first to understand then why would we create suffering
• 1:24:00
and why would that be perfect? But we'll get there.
• 1:24:02
But I think we need to back up to people's
• 1:24:04
lived experience right now. 1973, we have the end of
• 1:24:08
a world war, really. This economic drain, Vietnam War was
• 1:24:13
This massive drain on economic systems disrupted all kinds of things.
• 1:24:17
And then suddenly it's over. And a little company called
• 1:24:19
Monsanto that was producing Agent Orange needed a new economy.
• 1:24:23
And so they repurposed themselves into a chemical cleaner for
• 1:24:27
industrial pipes. And they bought a patent from a Japanese
• 1:24:30
inventor who put this patent in the late 1950s for
• 1:24:33
something called glyphosate. Bought that patent in 1974. And they
• 1:24:37
were using it to clean industrial pipes because it has
• 1:24:39
an amazing ability to extract. to grab minerals and pull
• 1:24:42
it out of circulation. So they were dumping lots of
• 1:24:45
this down these clogged pipes of manufacturing facilities and it
• 1:24:49
would clean the pipes out beautifully. But the problem was
• 1:24:51
as soon as the effluent got out into the river,
• 1:24:53
it would kill all the fish and everything else and
• 1:24:55
so it was clearly not going to get past any
• 1:24:57
environmental protection. So they needed a different purpose for this
• 1:25:01
stuff at lower concentrations and so they repatented in 1976
• 1:25:04
as a weed killer. and rolled it out as Roundup,
• 1:25:09
which would become the most successful weed killer in history.
• 1:25:12
But this molecule had been already in use, and this
• 1:25:15
organophosphate family of molecules had already been killing life throughout
• 1:25:19
Cambodia and Vietnam. Those people got displaced, and I grew
• 1:25:22
up with them in Boulder, Colorado, in government housing. And
• 1:25:26
those Hmong people showed us something of biology. They're the
• 1:25:29
most poisoned peoples on the planet, and they showed no...
• 1:25:34
They showed metabolic collapse. They showed no decline in health.
• 1:25:37
They didn't have explosion of cancer or anything else. They
• 1:25:39
should have because we know that Agent Orange causes cancer.
• 1:25:42
And they showed me as young as I was at
• 1:25:45
the time, three, four years old, growing up with these
• 1:25:47
Hmong people in gardens. And these Cambodian women were sitting,
• 1:25:52
squatting in the middle of their 10-foot plots that they
• 1:25:55
were given as part of our Section 8 government housing.
• 1:25:58
And they would sit and tell a story, stay human-connected.
• 1:26:02
The receivers were on. The antennas were open. They're telling
• 1:26:05
story while they're squatting barefoot in soil systems. And the
• 1:26:09
biology is restoring their bodies, cleaning their bodies. I would
• 1:26:13
find that out 35 years later studying life in human biology.
• 1:26:17
But this is what I loved is that I had
• 1:26:18
a lived experience of peoples that had been radically poisoned
• 1:26:22
but had stayed in touch with the land. And because
• 1:26:24
they were an extension of the planet, they didn't show disease.
• 1:26:29
Speaker 1: Because these are the people that left though. I mean
• 1:26:32
the people that were still there in Cambodia and in
• 1:26:35
Laos and like all the areas where they used Agent Orange.
• 1:26:38
Didn't they have a high concentration of cancer, the people
• 1:26:40
  that lived there?
• 1:26:42
Speaker 2: Yes, and that's largely because they got displaced to concentration
• 1:26:44
camp type environments where they were separated from nature. So
• 1:26:47
if you don't stay connected to nature, then toxicity shows up.
• 1:26:50
Cancer shows up, all these things. A good example of
• 1:26:53
  this is Chernobyl.
• 1:26:55
Speaker 1: But the people that lived in the villages where Agent Orange,
• 1:26:58
as long as they stayed close to nature, you're saying
• 1:27:01
that they were fine from Agent Orange?
• 1:27:03
Speaker 2: In this case, there were no villages left. We literally
• 1:27:05
turned it into a moonscape. So they were fully refugee status, divorced.
• 1:27:09
They didn't have land to go back to for 30 years.
• 1:27:13
Speaker 1: But there were people that stayed that were close to
• 1:27:17
where that Agent Orange stuff was dumped that lived that
• 1:27:21
  did get cancer, right?
• 1:27:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, and the ones with the highest cancer were the U.S.
• 1:27:24
military soldiers. And so the people that were most separate
• 1:27:28
from nature were going to show the highest rates of cancer.
• 1:27:31
And so you have U.S. military that are eating canned
• 1:27:33
food and MREs half a world away. They're going to
• 1:27:37
show an immediate increase. And that's why Agent Orange couldn't
• 1:27:40
be repurposed is because it got such a bad rap.
• 1:27:43
Speaker 1: High anxiety. You're in a war. You don't want to
• 1:27:45
  be there.
• 1:27:45
  Speaker 2: You're isolated socially.
• 1:27:47
Speaker 1: Probably doing a lot of drugs.
• 1:27:48
  Speaker 2: Psychologically, yeah.
• 1:27:48
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 1:27:50
Speaker 2: So you've reached a stress level because of your separation
• 1:27:53
from your own personal natural connected biosis of a family
• 1:27:56
and a community and your garden and all these things.
• 1:27:59
So as we get further from nature, we become more
• 1:28:02
vulnerable and then toxins become a real crisis for biology.
• 1:28:06
So biology in isolation will have huge consequences to poisoning.
• 1:28:11
A connected biologic system sees poison as a stressor that
• 1:28:15
will make it stronger, not weaker.
• 1:28:17
Speaker 1: When you're communicating with these people, especially like people that
• 1:28:20
live in these indigenous cultures, do they experience infections? Do
• 1:28:26
they have– like do they get the flu? Does anything
• 1:28:30
go through them that's in their own– not something that's
• 1:28:34
introduced by other people? Like we know that that wiped
• 1:28:37
out 90 percent of Native Americans is 10%. that came
• 1:28:40
  from Europe.
• 1:28:42
  Speaker 2: It's a story that's told. I'm not sure that we
• 1:28:43
have the greatest evidence of that. That story has been
• 1:28:46
played a lot. I think it's also possible that we
• 1:28:49
just killed a lot of people.
• 1:28:50
Speaker 1: Well, we certainly did that as well.
• 1:28:52
Speaker 2: We killed a lot of people. But I think that
• 1:28:54
what's not understood was the breaking of their relationship to
• 1:28:56
  their natural system.
• 1:28:57
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 1:28:59
Speaker 2: They may have had dysentery and died of infectious diseases
• 1:29:01
but not until we displaced them from their gardens, displaced
• 1:29:04
them from their land and all that. We had to
• 1:29:06
break their relationship to nature if they were going to
• 1:29:08
get a bowel infection that was going to cause a problem.
• 1:29:10
I've just seen too many examples of connected biological systems
• 1:29:14
that just cannot become diseased. A connected system and again,
• 1:29:18
let me turn to Chernobyl for a moment because this
• 1:29:20
is a pretty rad example of this. largest nuclear event,
• 1:29:25
nuclear disaster that's ever been created in human history, maybe
• 1:29:28
the Japan one is now exceeding it. But Chernobyl, was
• 1:29:33
it 30 years ago, was it 1976 or something like that?
• 1:29:35
Chernobyl happens, huge nuclear waste dump into soil systems throughout
• 1:29:40
the Siberian region there. And we have the immediate movement
• 1:29:45
of humans out of the region out of fear of cancer.
• 1:29:48
And sure enough, all the humans that were in touch
• 1:29:50
with that system, huge rates of thyroid cancer, renal disease,
• 1:29:54
all kinds of things occurred. Meanwhile, those soils are primarily
• 1:30:00
inhabited by voles, a small little mouse-like creature that lives
• 1:30:03
under the ground, looks halfway across a field mouse and
• 1:30:06
a mole. Those tiny little creatures have been eating the
• 1:30:09
most radioactive soils on the planet for the last 30,
• 1:30:11
40 years. That's almost 50 years now. And so that
• 1:30:16
50 years of eating radioactive material, they're now radioactive. So
• 1:30:19
when you put a Geiger counter up next to one
• 1:30:21
of those voles, it's not beep, beep, beep, beep. It's
• 1:30:24
just a continuous hum. And so these are the most
• 1:30:27
radioactive creatures on Earth. Not a single case of pup deformities,
• 1:30:33
no collapse of fertility. In fact, the vole populations are thriving.
• 1:30:38
The predator to the vole in Chernobyl is the wolf.
• 1:30:42
And the Siberian wolf has... absolutely quadrupled its population, no
• 1:30:48
birth defects, no cancer, no consequence to eating the voles
• 1:30:52
that are highly radioactive. And so these are the best
• 1:30:56
examples of when a system, when a keystone species or
• 1:30:59
otherwise is connected to its nature, she will never allow
• 1:31:03
an injury to occur that she doesn't allow or already
• 1:31:06
have a solution for. And so at the microbiome level,
• 1:31:09
we now know how these wolves and voles are surviving
• 1:31:12
as they upregulate Pseudomonas. And Pseudomonas has this amazing, it's
• 1:31:16
a bacteria that actually, if you look through all those
• 1:31:19
food poisoning lists of like what's going to kill you
• 1:31:21
on the E. coli and the Pseudomonas, Pseudomonas is one
• 1:31:24
of the most feared bacteria in a hospital, for example.
• 1:31:27
It turns out Pseudomonas thrive on radioactive material. They digest it,
• 1:31:30
turn it into usable and safer products and all of this.
• 1:31:33
And so the microbiome is there living in the voles,
• 1:31:36
constantly converting and updating its physiology so it's repairing at
• 1:31:40
a faster rate than it's being injured. And I'll show
• 1:31:42
you what this looks like in a lab too. moment,
• 1:31:45
but I want you to hold that thought of every
• 1:31:48
organism has a rate of repair and a rate of injury.
• 1:31:52
And as long as the rate of repair is slightly
• 1:31:54
faster than the rate of injury, it never gets a disease.
• 1:31:57
You can ramp up that injury rate, and if nature
• 1:32:00
stays interconnected, your rate of repair simply steps up to
• 1:32:05
its right capacity. And so this is that classic adage,
• 1:32:08
if it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger. A biology...
• 1:32:13
That's practicing a relationship of biosis, the interconnected relationships that
• 1:32:17
make health and life possible. A biotic creature will always
• 1:32:21
have the resources if from nature rather than from money.
• 1:32:26
Money is never going to provide you biosis. Nature is
• 1:32:28
always going to provide you the biotic capacity to overcome
• 1:32:31
any toxicity that gets streamed up, planetary or otherwise. The
• 1:32:34
planet has been making horrible toxins forever. the sulfuric acid
• 1:32:38
pools that this planet, dominate this planet's surface. Biology came
• 1:32:42
right past all of that. Biology grew up in it.
• 1:32:45
Biology has no problem with chemistry because of its phenomenon
• 1:32:49
of light concentration of energy, more energy per cubic centimeter
• 1:32:52
than anything else in the cosmos. Life is this churning
• 1:32:56
machine of iteration, repair, regeneration, iteration, repair, regeneration. And every
• 1:33:01
time it does that, it has this tendency to make
• 1:33:04
new iterations of itself. become more biodiverse new species are
• 1:33:07
formed new imagination of nature and pretty soon you have
• 1:33:11
a planet earth that's teeming with so much unbelievable life
• 1:33:14
and finally a container that can hold its maximum concentration
• 1:33:18
of information and light energy is created and that's a
• 1:33:20
human and so we've got this container that's holding billions
• 1:33:24
of years of stress the result of stress when connected
• 1:33:28
to nature is more life force more intelligence more beauty
• 1:33:33
And so I loved what you said earlier because it's
• 1:33:35
very important. There's a chapter in my book that's looking
• 1:33:38
at this kind of neo-spiritualism of the utopia you mentioned.
• 1:33:41
And you kind of call BS from the beginning on that.
• 1:33:43
You're like, humans have never done utopian things. Humans are
• 1:33:48
part of the stress mechanism of the planet. I'm convinced
• 1:33:51
of it because what we do all the time is
• 1:33:52
we stress the system. We finally invented airplanes. The first
• 1:33:56
thing we did was try to jump out of them.
• 1:33:58
We just like stress. We like the discomfort of pushing
• 1:34:02
the envelope. And I think we live on a planet
• 1:34:05
in the middle of a universe that loves the same thing.
• 1:34:08
It loves the stress of it. It loves the friction
• 1:34:11
of possibility. It loves death because immediately there's rebirth. And
• 1:34:15
every time there's a death, there's more opportunity for new creation,
• 1:34:18
new imagination. And so when I say everything is perfect,
• 1:34:23
it's literal. It means everything is re-imagining itself all the time.
• 1:34:27
And if humans do go extinct in these coming decades...
• 1:34:31
That's part of a beautiful journey of life going iterating, iterating, iterating, iterating.
• 1:34:36
There's a moment though with every hospice patient where you
• 1:34:40
suddenly get to see life return. And sometimes they choose
• 1:34:43
more life in the human body and sometimes they're like,
• 1:34:46
I'm gone. That's where I belong over there. I have
• 1:34:50
a next thing. I've been by so many near-death experiences,
• 1:34:54
I can't even count them anymore. But every time somebody
• 1:34:56
dips across the veil of the human ego and the
• 1:34:58
five sensory systems here They see a universe that's so
• 1:35:03
interconnected and has got absolutely nothing to do with the
• 1:35:07
human mind and its perception and its effort to explain
• 1:35:12
the universe. It has nothing to do. It's a full-body experience.
• 1:35:17
It is that antenna going wide open and being like,
• 1:35:21
this is what it is. And I can't. It's the
• 1:35:28
one thing I wish I could do, and I've never
• 1:35:31
been able to do, is just help humans feel that.
• 1:35:35
If you could feel what it felt like when somebody
• 1:35:38
hasn't even come back to the point where they can
• 1:35:40
tell you the near-death experience, but you're just standing there
• 1:35:43
in witness to them, and their antenna goes blowing wide open,
• 1:35:48
and you can feel what is in the field at
• 1:35:50
that moment, there is nothing that compares to it. Plant medicine...
• 1:35:57
peak experiences, breath work, cold plunge, hot plunge, take your
• 1:36:01
body through any stress, you will not experience the amount
• 1:36:03
of energetic information that comes through at that moment to
• 1:36:05
that human antenna that's still biologically connected to Earth but
• 1:36:09
is perceiving the whole story. That's the end of addiction.
• 1:36:17
If you could feel that, there would be no more
• 1:36:19
addiction on this planet because addiction is the necessary behavior
• 1:36:24
of an organism that believes itself to be abandoned by
• 1:36:27
It's infinite reality. Humans believed ourselves to be abandoned by nature.
• 1:36:32
And we put it right in our definition. You can
• 1:36:35
probably pull it up, Oxford English Dictionary. Nature is everything
• 1:36:38
in the firmament of the earth, minerals, plants, animals, as
• 1:36:41
opposed to humans or anything humans have made. Not only
• 1:36:45
do we write ourselves out in nature, we put ourselves
• 1:36:47
in opposition to nature as opposed to humans or anything
• 1:36:50
  humans have made.
• 1:36:50
Speaker 1: That's the Oxford Dictionary's definition of nature?
• 1:36:53
Speaker 2: Really? Really. And so as you start to think about this,
• 1:36:57
like that's the whole story. It's when we start to
• 1:37:01
lose the antenna, when we started dulling down the receptor
• 1:37:04
and we started planting mental constructs, money is where things
• 1:37:09
come from. No. Money has never birthed anything. Women birth life.
• 1:37:14
Money does not. Biology is self-perpetuating, always for more beauty,
• 1:37:20
more intelligence. Anytime we create an abstract system and say
• 1:37:24
biology needs that, biology, living people need money. Living people
• 1:37:29
need IV drips of vitamin C. Living humans need peptides injected.
• 1:37:34
It is the biggest miss in the cosmos is humans
• 1:37:40
that don't realize that we are the best antennas that
• 1:37:43
have been made on this planet so far. If we
• 1:37:46
begin to use those, we will not do utopia. We'll
• 1:37:49
be destroyed. experience opportunities for stress that doesn't harm another individual.
• 1:37:55
And this is the characteristic of a sovereign reality where
• 1:38:00
everything is up-leveling all of the time. And something that
• 1:38:03
gives up its life is not killed. It's literally giving
• 1:38:06
its life to the next. And so when you look
• 1:38:08
at predation, you're thinking of the lion eating the antelope.
• 1:38:13
If you spend enough time with these indigenous groups, they
• 1:38:17
can tell you which antelope is going to give itself
• 1:38:19
to the lion. It's not because it's weak or it's broken.
• 1:38:23
There's a relationship they can feel between the predator and
• 1:38:27
the prey. It's interesting that we call them prey. who's
• 1:38:30
praying in this situation who's about to go into an
• 1:38:33
ascension process is the antelope or the lion maybe both
• 1:38:37
but there's a relationship there in our indigenous understanding this
• 1:38:40
is where sacred hunting comes in sacred hunting never went
• 1:38:44
out to kill anything it came to receive more so
• 1:38:48
if you go out in nature and with the attitude
• 1:38:50
of I'm going to receive the abundance of nature for
• 1:38:53
my peoples, for my family, for my thing. And you
• 1:38:56
see what nature is going to offer you. And this
• 1:38:59
is the hunter-gatherer tribes in spades here. But this is
• 1:39:02
the change of mindset that we've got to go back
• 1:39:04
to is everything is sacred. Everything is sovereign. And when
• 1:39:08
we sit back into that relaxed relationship where we never
• 1:39:11
got kicked out of nature, everything, our food, our shelter,
• 1:39:15
our livelihoods are going to come from nature, not money.
• 1:39:19
When we make that subtle shift of trusting this planet again,
• 1:39:24
then we start turning on the antenna. And then our
• 1:39:27
intelligence comes back on. And then our memory comes back on.
• 1:39:31
And we don't have to sit around being like, I
• 1:39:32
wonder how those pyramids got built. We will be connected
• 1:39:36
to that information because it's all still here.
• 1:39:39
Speaker 1: I want to go back to that. But I want
• 1:39:41
to push back on this idea that people can survive
• 1:39:45
plagues if they don't have immunity to it. Because one
• 1:39:49
of the best examples where that seems to have wiped
• 1:39:53
out an entire civilization is all these sites they keep
• 1:39:58
finding in the Amazon. When you read about the lost
• 1:40:02
city of Z, you read about the initial European explorers
• 1:40:06
who made their way into the Amazon. They found this
• 1:40:08
thriving civilization. They went back 200 years ago. 200 years later,
• 1:40:11
there's nothing. And the predominant theory– is that they brought
• 1:40:17
with them smallpox and a bunch of other diseases and
• 1:40:19
they spread like wildfire to a bunch of people that
• 1:40:21
didn't have immunity to it and they died. Who's living
• 1:40:25
more in harmony with nature than those people that were
• 1:40:28
living in the Amazon? I mean they're living in complete
• 1:40:31
harmony with nature. They just didn't have the immunity to
• 1:40:34
  deal with European diseases.
• 1:40:37
Speaker 2: So you're telling me a story that I cannot answer
• 1:40:40
because the story is abstract itself. How so? Because you're
• 1:40:45
painting a picture, A, that somebody knows that there were
• 1:40:47
smallpox that went across those peoples.
• 1:40:49
Speaker 1: Well, we know there were smallpox and we know that
• 1:40:52
smallpox did most certainly wipe out a lot of Native
• 1:40:55
Americans as well as a lot of European settlers. Was
• 1:40:58
it because they were malnourished? That's certainly possible. I mean
• 1:41:01
  that's certainly a factor.
• 1:41:02
Speaker 2: I guess I would just say when. When do we
• 1:41:04
have evidence that they started dying of smallpox? I think
• 1:41:07
that's after we displaced them. from their tribal lands after
• 1:41:10
we displaced them from their connected ecologies.
• 1:41:13
Speaker 1: That's hard to say because it seems like there's a
• 1:41:15
lot of evidence that it spread through tribes and even
• 1:41:17
tribes that were on their own, that there was a
• 1:41:22
real problem. But the other question is it wasn't always
• 1:41:27
bountiful like wherever Native Americans were and there was times
• 1:41:32
where they had like serious famine and they didn't have
• 1:41:36
food sources that were nutritious and they did their best
• 1:41:40
to stay alive. It wasn't always like, look at all
• 1:41:43
the deer and all the fish and we have fruits
• 1:41:46
and vegetables everywhere, we're fine. No, there was certainly times
• 1:41:50
where these nomadic people ran into a bad situation. And
• 1:41:56
if you introduce a new disease, a novel disease that
• 1:41:59
they don't have an immunity to during that time, that
• 1:42:01
could most certainly wipe them out, despite the fact that
• 1:42:04
they're living in nature. They don't have the resources that's
• 1:42:09
required to keep a biological system perfectly functioning and healthy.
• 1:42:13
They're struggling. They're barely getting by. I could totally see
• 1:42:18
how people like that– we like to think that everybody
• 1:42:23
that lived in North America before the Europeans came had
• 1:42:27
  it nailed. They lived perfectly.
• 1:42:29
  Speaker 2: Well, no.
• 1:42:30
Speaker 1: Tribal– hunter-gatherer people that are nomadic, like sometimes you run
• 1:42:35
into a bad place. Sometimes you're in an area that
• 1:42:39
has no game. That's just how it goes. You have
• 1:42:42
a bunch of mouths to feed and things go wrong.
• 1:42:44
And if they're in that kind of a situation and
• 1:42:47
they catch smallpox, they're going to be compromised. Their immune
• 1:42:49
system will be compromised. Completely makes sense. And there was
• 1:42:52
widespread contact with these diseases that came from these Europeans
• 1:42:56
who also weren't very healthy and came over here on boats.
• 1:42:59
That's got to be fucking terrible for you. You're on
• 1:43:01
a boat for three months. What kind of food are
• 1:43:03
you eating? And then you get here and you're spreading
• 1:43:05
all your junk to all these other people that have
• 1:43:08
  no idea what that is.
• 1:43:09
Speaker 2: I think you're– now you're on the button of it.
• 1:43:12
And so it was less about the condition of people
• 1:43:15
that were native to this land. It was more about
• 1:43:17
the divorce of the people that were incoming from nature.
• 1:43:20
And so those settlers or those industrial colonists who were
• 1:43:27
coming over from Spain or otherwise– It was their radical
• 1:43:30
divorce for thousands of years of innovations of clothing and
• 1:43:35
horses and all these different layers of technology that interrupted
• 1:43:39
their food systems and their relationship with nature. So they
• 1:43:41
were coming over here sick. I agree with that. And
• 1:43:44
it's likely that that may have been more of the
• 1:43:46
imprint was less of an infectious disease and more of
• 1:43:49
a dissonant imbalance. And so I think what we now
• 1:43:53
know about the gut microbiome is that it has an
• 1:43:55
immediate feedback loop to stress signals, cortisol specifically. And so
• 1:43:59
if you're a Spanish colonial army that shows up with
• 1:44:04
weapons that have never been seen before and you've got
• 1:44:07
this marauding belief that you're separate from nature and so
• 1:44:13
you need to go steal as much as possible because
• 1:44:15
you don't have enough. And so that's the downstream of
• 1:44:18
the abandonment disorder of humanity is scarcity mentality, which then
• 1:44:21
breeds empire rise and fall and colonialism and ownership models
• 1:44:24
and all of this. And so— You come over with
• 1:44:28
this marauding new species. Let's think of it as a
• 1:44:31
new species because up until this point, none of the
• 1:44:34
indigenous cultures here saw themselves as separate from nature. All
• 1:44:37
of their 40,000 years of traditional practice where we are
• 1:44:41
integrated in nature, we are an element between the cosmos
• 1:44:44
and the earth. We sit in this fine little beautiful
• 1:44:47
zone between heaven and earth and this is human. This
• 1:44:49
is the experience of being an antenna that's connected to
• 1:44:52
this cosmos, connected to planet earth.
• 1:44:54
Speaker 1: And a great example of that is Aztec architecture that
• 1:44:58
  literally mirrors the cosmos.
• 1:45:00
Speaker 2: Mirrors the cosmos as did the Egyptians. And so all
• 1:45:03
of them were building these pyramids in 13-degree angles just
• 1:45:07
like Orion's belt. And so you've got Pleiadian star clusters
• 1:45:12
lasered into the stones in Peru and the temples that
• 1:45:16
are built underground there, like crazy stuff. Because we were
• 1:45:20
antenna to the universe and we were antenna to the earth.
• 1:45:22
We sat feeling them both. That's the magic of being
• 1:45:25
human is you can feel both. This is a very
• 1:45:28
magical moment. And my patients that are dying and are
• 1:45:30
letting go of these bodies, they're certainly cosmic in scale.
• 1:45:33
They'll tell you exactly which planets they go to and
• 1:45:35
how they expand into the universe, become stars, all kinds
• 1:45:38
of crazy stuff in their near-death experiences. But they're not.
• 1:45:42
on Earth at that moment. So I think this wonderful
• 1:45:44
moment of being an antenna, a biological antenna, not the
• 1:45:47
physics of a soul, some identity that sits outside of
• 1:45:50
biologic space-time, but an antenna that's now biologically connected to
• 1:45:55
more energy per cubic centimeter than it will ever feel
• 1:45:58
because the cosmos doesn't do energy as well as life.
• 1:46:02
And so a sun doesn't do as much concentrated energy
• 1:46:05
as life. And so this is this precious moment. And
• 1:46:09
so you imagine these people for tens of thousands of
• 1:46:11
years designing, expressing these incredible technologies, the pyramids and space
• 1:46:16
travel and everything else that they're doing at this time.
• 1:46:18
Unbelievable connectivity. And then along comes a species that look human,
• 1:46:24
except they think they don't belong to Earth. They think
• 1:46:27
they got abandoned. The whole kicked out of the garden
• 1:46:30
thing has played itself out. And they come in with
• 1:46:33
this vision. killing mentality that is different than the prey
• 1:46:36
and predator relationship that peoples had with each other, I'm
• 1:46:39
sure too. It wasn't just lions and antelopes. There was
• 1:46:43
a predation between humans from our beginning too. We are
• 1:46:46
a natural system. We live, we die, we rebirth, we death.
• 1:46:50
When our antennas are wide open, we understand the relationship
• 1:46:53
and the flow of life as it goes through its
• 1:46:55
ascension process. But here comes the species that is fundamentally
• 1:47:01
opposed to life. It is antibiotic in its behavioral relationship
• 1:47:05
to Earth. The stress that would have been felt in
• 1:47:09
the neurologic system from peoples that had been interconnected to
• 1:47:12
understanding space and having anything in retirement, what they would
• 1:47:15
have felt in that time would have, I think, been
• 1:47:18
the infectious disease. Just like the boxed apple juice that
• 1:47:21
came along to break the relationship of 40,000 years of
• 1:47:24
abundance for the Ochoa tribe and now put them in poverty.
• 1:47:28
The same thing could happen energetically at the spiritual or
• 1:47:30
psycho-spiritual or psycho-awareness. That antenna could suddenly break if suddenly
• 1:47:36
you felt like you were actually in danger. And isn't
• 1:47:39
that what we feel when we feel a sociopath in
• 1:47:41
our presence? Don't we suddenly viscerally feel something like this
• 1:47:45
is actually dangerous? Other people can be mean. They can
• 1:47:48
be assholes. But it's that antenna goes up. And so
• 1:47:52
imagine a whole civilization feeling for the most– This foreign
• 1:47:58
object coming at them and it's shooting them and it's
• 1:48:01
killing them and it's tearing up their gardens and it's
• 1:48:03
got horses which have never been seen on this continent.
• 1:48:06
The cortisol level goes berserk. Immune system shuts down. Microbiome
• 1:48:10
in the gut collapses. And suddenly they are experiencing diseases
• 1:48:14
of the West not because the pathogens were bad, not
• 1:48:16
because some element of nature suddenly leapt across the ocean
• 1:48:19
at them, but because they went out of relationship. The
• 1:48:23
antenna shut down. They lost the context of an interconnected
• 1:48:27
biosis relationship with heaven and earth. I think that's where
• 1:48:31
we start to really see honestly what was happening at
• 1:48:33
that time. It was fear that was bringing it. It
• 1:48:36
was guilt, shame of being kicked out of nature. Energetic
• 1:48:40
signals that were breaking the informational stream, the field of
• 1:48:44
connectivity that was– that humans were probably suspended into that time.
• 1:48:48
Speaker 1: But even before the Europeans arrived, the Aztecs were doing
• 1:48:53
horrific shit to each other. Like in the consecration of
• 1:48:57
the temple of– is it Tenochtitlan? Mm-hmm. Where they killed–
• 1:49:01
one of the– a Spanish chronicler named Diaz said that
• 1:49:05
they killed as many as 80,000 people over four days.
• 1:49:09
They sacrificed them. Like these are– this is not like
• 1:49:14
a balanced living with nature civilization we're talking about, the Aztecs.
• 1:49:19
They were doing some wild shit, man.
• 1:49:22
Speaker 2: They had survived much longer than the Europeans had.
• 1:49:25
Speaker 1: I understand that, but they had survived by enslaving people
• 1:49:29
  and ritually sacrificing them.
• 1:49:31
Speaker 2: So that's your European story.
• 1:49:33
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 1:49:34
Speaker 2: So that's a European seeing a system and projecting its
• 1:49:38
belief of its own broken relationship with nature and everything else.
• 1:49:41
Speaker 1: But do you think that they had a harmonious connection
• 1:49:43
  with nature by sacrificing slaves?
• 1:49:46
Speaker 2: I can't defend that because I wasn't there to experience it,
• 1:49:49
but I'll tell you a different story that might make
• 1:49:50
  you question it.
• 1:49:51
  Speaker 1: Please do.
• 1:49:52
Speaker 2: Because for me to tell you what the Aztecs were,
• 1:49:54
that's a bullshit story. I can't tell you. But in
• 1:49:57
my own lived experience with tribes in that exact area,
• 1:50:02
when I spend time with them, my antenna goes wide.
• 1:50:06
I start to sense this bigger reality. And if you
• 1:50:09
look deeper at the stories of the Aztecs, one of
• 1:50:12
the classic things that they did human sacrifice in was
• 1:50:16
their sports. And so they had a game that looked
• 1:50:18
a lot like some combination of soccer and basketball. And
• 1:50:22
so they had a little tiny ball that they could
• 1:50:24
strike with any part of their body except their hands.
• 1:50:26
  So they couldn't throw it.
• 1:50:27
Speaker 1: The Mayans did that, right? Yeah.
• 1:50:28
Speaker 2: And so the Mayans have this sport. And they've got
• 1:50:30
this tiny little hoop way up on the wall of
• 1:50:33
the playing field, which were huge. They were like as
• 1:50:37
big as your lacrosse field or something like this. And
• 1:50:38
so they got these huge fields in the middle of
• 1:50:41
these pyramidic structures of stone. And way up on the
• 1:50:44
wall of one of these would be this tiny little
• 1:50:45
hoop that was hardly bigger than the ball itself. And
• 1:50:47
you had to like bump it with your shoulder or
• 1:50:49
kick it through that little hoop. The games would last
• 1:50:52
for days. It was kind of like some version of
• 1:50:56
your British sports that go on and on. But at
• 1:50:59
any rate, the winner would be then taken to the
• 1:51:04
front and the captain of the team would be beheaded.
• 1:51:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, not a lot of incentive.
• 1:51:12
Speaker 2: Not a lot of incentive.
• 1:51:13
Speaker 1: Not a lot of incentive to score.
• 1:51:15
Speaker 2: That's why the games took.
• 1:51:16
Speaker 1: For fucking ever. That's why they lasted days.
• 1:51:18
Speaker 2: Nobody wanted to win. But what if the incentive... Was
• 1:51:21
it they didn't want to win or was the incentive
• 1:51:23
  not to stay alive?
• 1:51:24
Speaker 1: Well, the kings weren't cutting their own heads off if
• 1:51:27
someone won, right? They were cutting the heads off of
• 1:51:29
the guy who was the winner and probably reluctantly.
• 1:51:35
Speaker 2: I mean– We can make all kinds of substitutions.
• 1:51:37
Speaker 1: Sure. I mean maybe they were looking forward to being sacrificed.
• 1:51:40
  It's very possible.
• 1:51:41
Speaker 2: I think that's an interesting possibility.
• 1:51:42
Speaker 1: But human instincts don't align with that. Human instincts align
• 1:51:46
with people try to avoid death whenever possible.
• 1:51:49
Speaker 2: I totally agree that while we're still veiled between the
• 1:51:53
five senses that make us think that things end.
• 1:51:55
Speaker 1: I understand. But if you're advocating for a world where
• 1:51:58
it's okay to kill 80,000 slaves at the consecration of
• 1:52:01
a temple that you probably didn't build in the first
• 1:52:03
place because one of the problems with the Aztec temples
• 1:52:06
is they don't claim they built them. They found them.
• 1:52:09
They found them already built. And they literally call them
• 1:52:13
the place where the gods were born. Like some of
• 1:52:16
these incredible structures were built. Who knows how much longer
• 1:52:20
before the Aztecs were there? They describe it. They don't
• 1:52:23
  say they built them.
• 1:52:24
Speaker 2: No, they inhabited them, say, with Egypt. They were built
• 1:52:26
thousands of years before the modern Egyptians showed up.
• 1:52:30
Speaker 1: Likely. The Egypt one is a little more complicated because
• 1:52:34
there's so much of it and it's so big. It's
• 1:52:37
not that the Aztec one isn't complicated because it certainly is.
• 1:52:40
So is the Mayan one. I've only been to Mayan pyramids.
• 1:52:44
I've been to Chichen Itza. It was fucking incredible. It's insane.
• 1:52:48
You just try to wrap your head around what this
• 1:52:52
society must have been like at its peak. But that's
• 1:52:56
also the belief is that these people encountered European diseases
• 1:53:01
as well. That's why they just sort of dropped off
• 1:53:04
and vanished just like the Amazons.
• 1:53:08
Speaker 2: So I think there's a risk of us– imprinting our
• 1:53:11
current belief systems on a distant past that we can't remember.
• 1:53:14
Speaker 1: Well, sure. Yeah. I mean, there's really, they don't really
• 1:53:17
know what happened to the Mayans.
• 1:53:18
  Speaker 2: That's where I'll sit.
• 1:53:19
Speaker 1: There's a lot of guessing, but the prominent theory, the
• 1:53:21
predominant theory, I think is disease.
• 1:53:24
Speaker 2: And so I don't want to leave people hanging and
• 1:53:26
think that I'm out to create a new humanity where
• 1:53:29
it's okay to kill 80,000 people.
• 1:53:31
  Speaker 1: I don't think you're saying that.
• 1:53:32
Speaker 2: I'm interested in a situation where the concept of killing
• 1:53:35
goes away. The concept of death becomes reverent. The concept
• 1:53:40
of death no longer is seen as an endpoint. The
• 1:53:42
concept of death becomes an evolution, not an endpoint. This
• 1:53:47
is what all indigenous people who spend some time in
• 1:53:49
Nepal go to Tibet. Their whole culture is in reverence
• 1:53:54
  to death.
• 1:53:55
Speaker 1: Well, they have those Tibetan sky funerals.
• 1:53:57
  Speaker 2: Sky funerals.
• 1:53:58
Speaker 1: Those are wild. And people are horrified by that. But
• 1:54:01
I was like, as long as you knew that they
• 1:54:04
didn't have to get that HBO autopsy guide to exhume
• 1:54:07
your body because you're your husband killed you or whatever
• 1:54:10
it is, as long as you know that you died
• 1:54:12
in a normal, natural way, isn't that kind of better
• 1:54:15
to let the vultures eat you? It's kind of what
• 1:54:18
you're supposed to be. You're supposed to cycle back into nature.
• 1:54:21
We're so weird that we say, nah, you can't have me.
• 1:54:24
And we poison ourselves so that we can go visit
• 1:54:27
grandpa in the funeral home when he's embalmed. He's embalmed
• 1:54:31
with toxic chemicals that are going to keep his body
• 1:54:33
from decaying so much so that you can dig them
• 1:54:36
up a couple years later and find, oh my God,
• 1:54:38
Nana poisoned them. You know? Because that's what happens. They
• 1:54:44
  find out.
• 1:54:46
Speaker 2: That starts our new commentary about marriage.
• 1:54:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, about humans.
• 1:54:51
Speaker 2: I think there's something that you're not doing.
• 1:54:53
Speaker 1: That was just one example. It could be, you know,
• 1:54:55
a bunch of people. There's nurses that poison people. There's
• 1:54:59
a lot of crazy people out there. But the point is, like,
• 1:55:02
we're very strange in that the Most common way we
• 1:55:06
take care of bodies is we fill them up with
• 1:55:08
chemicals that make it so that the rest of nature
• 1:55:11
  can absorb us.
• 1:55:12
Speaker 2: That's because we have no reverence for death because we
• 1:55:14
think it's an end point. So we cling to these
• 1:55:17
containers as if this was the story. And that's what
• 1:55:20
I got to see in hospice over and over again.
• 1:55:22
It's the moment people pierce the veil and realize the
• 1:55:25
antenna can sense everything again. That's when they realize this
• 1:55:28
body is a tiny story of me. This is a
• 1:55:31
tiny part of my experience and it's precious because at
• 1:55:35
that moment of being human, I felt heartbreak. I felt suffering.
• 1:55:40
I felt fear. I felt guilt. I felt shame. None
• 1:55:45
of what you can feel when you let go and
• 1:55:47
pierce that veil. On the other side is radical connectivity.
• 1:55:52
On the other side of that veil is radical connectivity energetically.
• 1:55:56
You feel everything, stars, moonscapes, everything. You are everything. You're
• 1:56:01
in this singularity moment and that's what you can feel
• 1:56:04
in your body. Like I continue to get so moved
• 1:56:08
by what I feel right now when I just tell
• 1:56:09
you about what it feels like to be in the
• 1:56:11
presence of somebody in that moment when their antenna goes
• 1:56:15
wide open and they still have a biological antenna that
• 1:56:17
can both transmit and receive information. The amount of information
• 1:56:21
around death is so vast and this is why the
• 1:56:25
Tibetans honor it so thoroughly is this is that precious
• 1:56:29
one moment. Where a human antenna gets the entire download
• 1:56:34
and can still transmit it. And so if we are
• 1:56:36
not sitting in the rooms with our elders that are dying,
• 1:56:41
we are missing the biggest download of life. And we
• 1:56:44
will only find it out when we're on our deathbed,
• 1:56:47
probably dying alone. And so this is what I'm talking
• 1:56:51
about is I see a world not without death. I
• 1:56:53
see a world where death becomes the biggest moment of transformation.
• 1:56:59
And 10% of people that go through that have to
• 1:57:02
be discharged from hospice six months later because they went
• 1:57:04
on to live a new life. Their diseases go away.
• 1:57:07
Their health recovers. Their biology returns. And they have a
• 1:57:12
different relationship with their children. They go and start creating
• 1:57:15
art they've never created. These near-death experiences are trippy, and
• 1:57:18
10% is a huge number. As a hospice doctor, I
• 1:57:21
was admitting 80 patients a week to die. That's eight
• 1:57:24
patients a week. that are doing what they weren't supposed
• 1:57:27
to do. They were supposed to die and they're not
• 1:57:29
doing it. In fact, they are showing so much more
• 1:57:32
life after they glimpsed that everything's perfect. And they took
• 1:57:36
a deep breath and said, I got one more thing
• 1:57:39
to express before I let go of this finite moment.
• 1:57:42
And this is our precious experience that we have. And
• 1:57:45
I think, honestly, I think you're embodying something of this
• 1:57:49
for humanity to look at. You're one of those rare
• 1:57:52
personalities that gets on this, seismic launch into the public
• 1:57:57
eye wealth comes rushing to you that wasn't even expected
• 1:58:01
you set out to have some fun with some friends
• 1:58:04
and then this happened and you were one of the
• 1:58:07
few people in the public eye right now that didn't
• 1:58:10
allow that to break your relationship to your nature and
• 1:58:12
you stayed connected to the people that are building stuff
• 1:58:15
that are making cars and that's what i grew up
• 1:58:17
doing i love it that's it's what keeps us real
• 1:58:20
is turning wrenches getting the car to go faster building
• 1:58:24
a house. I built my own home. I live in
• 1:58:26
the woods of Virginia and built my home there. Living
• 1:58:30
with my partner down in Panama, she's building a whole
• 1:58:33
village down there. It's amazing to see what is going
• 1:58:36
to happen when women start doing development on this planet.
• 1:58:39
It's going to be spectacular. But what I'm feeling is
• 1:58:42
this return to being human where I am receiving so
• 1:58:46
much information and I need no money to be happy.
• 1:58:51
if we keep making money, the source by which we
• 1:58:54
will be safe, fed, housed, everything else, we will continue
• 1:58:57
in our abstract relationship to nature. When we start reforming
• 1:59:01
all human systems in the context of a nature that
• 1:59:04
is not only abundant, it does not know death. It
• 1:59:07
only knows transformation, transformation, transformation, transformation, more complexity, more beauty,
• 1:59:11
more intelligence. And so this is where we can start
• 1:59:14
to lose the fear of death and start to move
• 1:59:16
into this more reverent state of sovereignty where we understand
• 1:59:19
that we are fully resourced, not by Elon Musk's minimum
• 1:59:24
wage of half a million dollars. We are resourced by
• 1:59:27
nature itself, by life itself. Because we are cellular creatures,
• 1:59:30
we had to be fully resourced to occur in our
• 1:59:33
mother's womb. We needed no money to take one cell
• 1:59:37
into 70 trillion cells inhabited by 14 quadrillion mitochondria that
• 1:59:40
concentrate sunlight 10,000 times brighter than the sun. That happened
• 1:59:44
  without money.
• 1:59:45
Speaker 1: So this all sounds great, but how do you get
• 1:59:48
the money to get a saw to cut the wood
• 1:59:50
  to make your house?
• 1:59:52
Speaker 2: Why did the money have to enter it?
• 1:59:54
Speaker 1: Well, how did you get the saw? Did you make
• 1:59:55
the saw? Yeah. Okay. What kind of saw do you have?
• 1:59:58
Do you have a circular saw? Do you have one
• 2:00:00
of those nice, you know, those nice ones, sawzalls?
• 2:00:05
Speaker 2: Why would we need money for that either?
• 2:00:07
Speaker 1: Well, someone's got to build it. So someone's got to
• 2:00:09
make a factory. So someone's got to make the internal
• 2:00:11
engine that spins that wheel a thousand times a minute
• 2:00:14
  or whatever it is.
• 2:00:16
Speaker 2: And so all you're talking about is a concentration of energy.
• 2:00:19
Speaker 1: Right. But someone's got to put the resources in to
• 2:00:22
do that. They have to source the steel.
• 2:00:24
Speaker 2: What if it was nature that put the resources in
• 2:00:26
instead of the Fed? So the Fed's printing fake money.
• 2:00:30
Speaker 1: Right. But you've got to motivate people to innovate a thing.
• 2:00:33
Speaker 2: Do you have to motivate people to create?
• 2:00:35
Speaker 1: Well, certain things. There's a reason why people do it
• 2:00:39
because they know they can make some money off of it.
• 2:00:42
Speaker 2: Because they're currently stuck in them. matrix where they believe
• 2:00:45
the stuff is coming from money?
• 2:00:46
Speaker 1: DeWalt power tools, right? When they make those, there's engineers,
• 2:00:49
there's a bunch of designers, they all work for money
• 2:00:52
and they all like figure out how much electricity it's
• 2:00:55
going to run on, what the engine's going to be,
• 2:00:57
how fast it has to be, what's the best steel
• 2:00:59
for the blades. There's money involved in all that because
• 2:01:03
they have to have a warehouse where they have to
• 2:01:04
build it. They have to pay people to pay their healthcare,
• 2:01:06
pay their dental. They have to take care of them.
• 2:01:09
Maybe they have a union. OK, so you've got union
• 2:01:11
dues and fees. There's a bunch of money being exchanged
• 2:01:14
because people want a reason to show up at work
• 2:01:17
to do the work to make these saws because they're
• 2:01:19
very difficult to make. It takes multiple people. There's a
• 2:01:23
whole chain of different material science people that have to
• 2:01:27
  be involved.
• 2:01:28
Speaker 2: That's perfect. So you just gave a perfect synopsis of
• 2:01:31
  the last 200 years.
• 2:01:33
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 2:01:33
Speaker 2: And so the Industrial Revolution.
• 2:01:34
Speaker 1: But that's how you make a house. That's how you
• 2:01:36
make this table. Like people have to work.
• 2:01:38
Speaker 2: But we built houses and castles and pyramids that were
• 2:01:41
much greater than any house built today without the money.
• 2:01:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, but they had something, okay? Like houses, for sure
• 2:01:49
they had money. Like which houses? Like if you go
• 2:01:51
back 400 years, 500 years ago, they definitely had money.
• 2:01:53
Speaker 2: No, 10,000 years ago.
• 2:01:54
Speaker 1: They were paying people. Okay. Pyramids. It's a good question.
• 2:01:57
Speaker 2: Did they build that with money?
• 2:01:58
Speaker 1: We really don't know.
• 2:01:59
Speaker 2: They just had a lot of money, so they built
• 2:02:00
  a pyramid?
• 2:02:00
Speaker 1: Well, we don't know how they sourced the resources, and
• 2:02:04
we don't know how they got the people to do
• 2:02:06
the work, and we don't know what the technology was
• 2:02:08
involved in terms of planning. We really don't know.
• 2:02:13
Speaker 2: But I do know what it wasn't. which was something
• 2:02:15
  like the Fed.
• 2:02:16
Speaker 1: It probably wasn't that.
• 2:02:18
Speaker 2: And so it's not an abstract monetary system that has
• 2:02:21
  nothing to do with life.
• 2:02:23
Speaker 1: Right. Well, yeah, we don't know, right? But we would
• 2:02:27
assume that it would be more sophisticated than that because
• 2:02:29
the pyramid is more sophisticated than that. We would like
• 2:02:31
to think that it would be different. We are also
• 2:02:35
trapped in thinking that the system that we currently find
• 2:02:38
ourselves operating in is the only way human beings can operate.
• 2:02:41
This is my belief about the pyramids and about a
• 2:02:44
lot of these ancient structures. I think we assume that
• 2:02:49
because we are on a specific direction in terms of
• 2:02:52
technological innovation, that this is the only direction that human
• 2:02:55
beings could have ever gone. And I have a feeling
• 2:02:58
that that is absolutely not the case. And I think
• 2:03:00
the pyramids are the best example of that. I think
• 2:03:02
they went in a different direction. We don't know what
• 2:03:05
direction that was because I think you know, along the
• 2:03:09
lines of what Graham believes and what Randall Carlson believes
• 2:03:12
and a lot of these other folks, that there was
• 2:03:14
some sort of a great cataclysm. And this is the
• 2:03:17
source of the flood myths that exists in all ancient religions.
• 2:03:21
And this is somewhere around 11,000 plus years ago. And
• 2:03:25
I think that probably wiped out a lot of information
• 2:03:28
on how things were made and what they did and
• 2:03:31
why they were doing it the way they did it.
• 2:03:33
And I think modern archaeology just saying, you know, oh,
• 2:03:36
they use sand and push stones. Like you can go
• 2:03:39
fuck yourself. You go do that, bitch. You go figure
• 2:03:43
out how to carry a 500 ton stone through the mountains,
• 2:03:48
hundreds of miles away. Go fuck yourself. You can't, you're
• 2:03:52
lying to me. You're pretending to be an expert and
• 2:03:54
you're lying to me because you're not willing to say
• 2:03:57
this baffles us to no end. We have no understanding
• 2:04:01
of what tools were used in order to create these
• 2:04:04
incredibly symmetrical statues. Never, never, Forget about the pyramid itself.
• 2:04:09
Forget about the things that– are you aware of Filippo
• 2:04:13
Biondi and his work out of Italy? The stuff that
• 2:04:16
they're finding underneath the pyramids is baffling.
• 2:04:20
Speaker 2: Baffling. The LIDAR systems over there.
• 2:04:22
Speaker 1: Baffling. 20 meters in diameter, huge columns with spirals wrapped
• 2:04:28
around them. Like what's that? Why does it go a
• 2:04:32
kilometer into the earth? This is crazy.
• 2:04:35
Speaker 2: Is it crazy or is it actually something we're actually
• 2:04:37
  living the truth of?
• 2:04:38
Speaker 1: Well, I have a feeling it was an insanely advanced
• 2:04:41
society that existed there. And I think there's just not
• 2:04:45
a lot of evidence because the cataclysmic event of 11,000
• 2:04:48
years ago was probably so destructive that very few people survived.
• 2:04:54
And the people that did survive, they just had stories.
• 2:04:58
And they just– they had survival skills and they had
• 2:05:01
to live in whatever way was possible in order to
• 2:05:05
carry on the human race. But I think all semblance
• 2:05:08
of a technologically sophisticated society that existed pre-11,000 years ago
• 2:05:13
was all but wiped out. And I think that's why
• 2:05:16
society reemerges around 6,000 years ago. I think that's what
• 2:05:20
that is. It's a reemerging. It's not a coincidence that
• 2:05:23
all these societies that did emerge around 6,000 plus years
• 2:05:27
ago All of them have this flood myth. They all
• 2:05:30
have these stories of these cataclysms because that story was
• 2:05:33
passed on generation after generation, all the people that survived.
• 2:05:36
And what we're getting is the ultimate game of telephone.
• 2:05:40
We're getting the ultimate game of people telling a story
• 2:05:43
and then you tell a story. And then by the
• 2:05:44
time it gets to Jamie, who knows what's missing? Who
• 2:05:47
knows what's been added? Who knows what Pharaoh has added
• 2:05:51
his touch to it or what king has decided that
• 2:05:54
this part can't be in there because it doesn't. It
• 2:05:56
doesn't jive with this particular religious text that I believe in.
• 2:05:59
It's a real problem. It's a real problem when we
• 2:06:02
go back and we try to figure out what happened
• 2:06:04
in history. But the things that should confound everyone and
• 2:06:08
should absolutely remind you that we don't know is the pyramids.
• 2:06:13
They should just remind you. Look at that. Shut the
• 2:06:16
fuck up. There's no way you know. You don't know
• 2:06:19
what was going on. We could only make guesses and
• 2:06:22
we have to be very open-minded when we make these
• 2:06:25
guesses because the sheer scale of these fantastic creations and
• 2:06:30
not just them, the labyrinths that go underneath it, the
• 2:06:33
one that has this enormous 40-meter long metallic object that's
• 2:06:38
under the ground that they don't know what the fuck
• 2:06:40
it is. Herodotus talked about these labyrinths. Like these are
• 2:06:44
greater than Giza, he said. Like what were these people
• 2:06:48
doing and how did they do it? We don't know.
• 2:06:54
Speaker 2: You have such an important couple of words in there.
• 2:06:57
One of them is this knowing concept.
• 2:06:59
  Speaker 1: Yes.
• 2:07:01
Speaker 2: If we continue to try to make stories out of
• 2:07:05
our mind to explain the world we live in, the
• 2:07:07
cosmos and in all of its complexities or the human
• 2:07:10
body and its miraculous thing, we're going to end up
• 2:07:12
with very disempowered versions of reality.
• 2:07:14
Speaker 1: So what should we do instead?
• 2:07:16
Speaker 2: Feel it instead of know it.
• 2:07:18
Speaker 1: Okay. Well, how do you feel how they made the pyramids?
• 2:07:20
Speaker 2: You're already doing it. I'm watching you do it because
• 2:07:23
you keep looking up here every time. You're like really
• 2:07:25
going after the pyramids. You look way up.
• 2:07:27
Speaker 1: I do that with everything when I'm trying to think.
• 2:07:29
  Speaker 2: Exactly.
• 2:07:30
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 2:07:31
Speaker 2: But what's actually happening is once you've done that four
• 2:07:33
or five times, your body starts putting the information in.
• 2:07:37
And then you start speaking from some other thing than
• 2:07:39
your mind. And that's when you come up with this conviction.
• 2:07:42
And I can feel it. So when my antenna is
• 2:07:45
open– I can feel you state your truth through your
• 2:07:48
body language, through the energy you're transmitting across this table.
• 2:07:52
And I'm not listening to your words anymore. I'm feeling it.
• 2:07:54
Your truth is fundamentally that pyramids exist. Things too complex.
• 2:08:00
to our own human mind and technologies exist. They're here
• 2:08:03
right now. Yeah. They're undeniable. You're transmitting a truth that
• 2:08:08
I don't have to like work on the words that
• 2:08:10
I can feel it and it lands. For so long,
• 2:08:14
I was trained to look up here and I spent
• 2:08:16
all of this time, 17 years in academia, looking up here,
• 2:08:19
trying to find my information map of like, oh, there's
• 2:08:22
that piece of information and there's that piece of information.
• 2:08:24
Let me put that into a story because that's what
• 2:08:26
I know. I had my near-death experience in 2010. And
• 2:08:31
when I experienced the peace and the opening that happens,
• 2:08:35
it was a car accident in 2010. When you have
• 2:08:38
that experience, you suddenly realize that what you know is
• 2:08:42
a fraction of Of what you can feel. And you
• 2:08:45
have so much more information at your experiential level of
• 2:08:49
capacity to inform your biology than the mind will ever
• 2:08:54
be able to create. And so this is where we
• 2:08:57
start to live telepathically. And this could all be theoretical,
• 2:09:00
but I will tell you I have seen thousands of
• 2:09:02
patients in my clinics that are living this reality already.
• 2:09:06
They have already gone back to telepathic communication wide open.
• 2:09:10
And they are called autistic people. Autism is a neurologic
• 2:09:15
development necessary at the end of a period of time
• 2:09:18
when humans went into complete abstraction. Money systems went abstract,
• 2:09:22
have no relationship to nature. We have medical systems that
• 2:09:26
are actually chronic disease management systems that are bankrupting the
• 2:09:29
world now. Five trillion dollars in a year spent on
• 2:09:32
disease management in the United States alone. We are bankrupting
• 2:09:35
the systems that got separated from nature. They are going
• 2:09:39
to collapse. They are going to fail and suddenly we
• 2:09:42
develop a neurology that cannot be programmed with the old
• 2:09:46
abstract systems and belief systems because they are feeling too much.
• 2:09:50
We call it sensory processing deficits. But really what it
• 2:09:54
is is a mind that's no longer gated with excuses.
• 2:09:58
with defense mechanisms, with tolerance levels of cognitive dissonance.
• 2:10:03
Speaker 1: Is this why– have you seen that– there's one young
• 2:10:06
boy who flew over Manhattan in a helicopter and then
• 2:10:10
he drew the entire skyline like completely accurately just from
• 2:10:16
  his memory.
• 2:10:17
Speaker 2: Yeah. And it's a project that's become known as the
• 2:10:21
telepathy tapes. It's a great example of it.
• 2:10:23
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 2:10:24
Speaker 2: And I was on their second– Season of that, talking
• 2:10:27
through what I experienced in clinic, is that we now
• 2:10:30
have not just a theory of telepathic communication. We have
• 2:10:36
a lived experience between thousands of people that are in
• 2:10:41
there between space, between the words. They are traveling to
• 2:10:44
a unified location that they all agree exists, which is
• 2:10:46
called the Hill. And so they are having an experience
• 2:10:52
in which massive amounts of information are being transmitted back
• 2:10:55
and forth. And they cannot be programmed with death is
• 2:10:59
bad and things. They can't believe any of the abstract
• 2:11:02
things we've been taught because they feel too much. The
• 2:11:06
reason I became so clear on this was total accident
• 2:11:09
in my clinic, which is the only way new ideas
• 2:11:11
come along is complete accidents. Because when we do scientific research,
• 2:11:16
it's way too linear. We see something. We're like, well,
• 2:11:18
if that's happened, then this must be the way it is. Well,
• 2:11:21
if I just saw that, then this must be a way.
• 2:11:23
So we do these linear things. you know, knowledge-based systems.
• 2:11:27
And so we get nowhere. We go in circles in, well,
• 2:11:30
cancer must be here. We've known cancer wasn't the problem.
• 2:11:32
We knew that cancer was a metabolic symptom, a symptom
• 2:11:35
of metabolic collapse a hundred years ago. So well-defined in
• 2:11:39
medical literature, everything else. Otto Werberg was the guy who
• 2:11:42
like broke the whole news in the 1920s. So here
• 2:11:45
we are a hundred years later, still thinking like cancer
• 2:11:47
is coming out of the woodwork and attacking healthy human bodies.
• 2:11:49
So we go on these linear things. What we are
• 2:11:53
forgetting is these leaps in awareness. A much bigger antenna
• 2:11:57
system is available to us. And you only get there
• 2:12:01
when you finally surrender your knowledge base and you start
• 2:12:04
to feel what's happening in front of you. And so
• 2:12:06
I was taught that there was a disease called autism
• 2:12:08
that was affecting our children. And for years, I helped
• 2:12:11
manage these people in clinics and everywhere they showed up
• 2:12:15
in the medical system. I saw it as a disease
• 2:12:17
and my linear mind was always like, I got to
• 2:12:20
fix that. Maybe if I do this, I could fix
• 2:12:23
the human brain. Maybe if we flip this switch, it'll work.
• 2:12:25
Maybe if we put this chemical in their body, we
• 2:12:28
can change their neurochemistry and get them to be able
• 2:12:30
to tolerate a day. My clinic that I launched in
• 2:12:34
2010 was called Revolution Health Center, rural clinic, town of
• 2:12:38
550 people, no resources monetarily. There was no reason this
• 2:12:43
was going to become an explosive hub of innovation. if
• 2:12:47
you measured it by money. I was hemorrhaging money. I
• 2:12:50
was not making money as a doctor at all. Rural
• 2:12:52
doctor had left the hallowed halls and the marble halls
• 2:12:55
of academia. And I started seeing autistic kids a lot
• 2:12:59
in these rural environments and inner city or urban environments
• 2:13:02
where we have these really high penetrance of autism. And
• 2:13:05
it's not being diagnosed because they don't have the resources
• 2:13:07
to bring the attention to the child's five, seven years old.
• 2:13:09
And by that time, there's been no resources brought to
• 2:13:12
the kids. So lots of undiagnosed autistic neurology out there.
• 2:13:17
So I was seeing a lot of in clinic and
• 2:13:19
these kids are heavily affected and the suffering is kind
• 2:13:22
of through the roof. They are hitting their head against
• 2:13:25
a wall six, eight hours a day. They have a
• 2:13:26
callus on their forehead from rhythmically hitting their head, striking
• 2:13:30
their head against a wall. And when they get upset,
• 2:13:33
somebody comes in their environment, stresses them. They start smearing
• 2:13:36
feces and blood on the walls. It is from parenting aspect,
• 2:13:40
the most horrific hell you can possibly live in. The
• 2:13:44
amount of suffering being expressed. And so these kids with
• 2:13:48
highly affected autism are coming in my clinic and they
• 2:13:50
can't even sit in front of you. They run around
• 2:13:52
in the clinic room and they can't make eye contact,
• 2:13:55
can't make physical. They're feeling too much and they'll go
• 2:13:57
hide in a corner, hit their head against the wall,
• 2:14:00
stim somehow. They're stimming their body until the chaos of
• 2:14:03
everything they're taking in is shut down to one signal
• 2:14:06
of pain. So this is an intense way to see
• 2:14:09
a human being. And this kid's four years old sitting
• 2:14:12
in front of you and this mother is more exhausted
• 2:14:14
than you've ever seen a human being. And so we
• 2:14:17
started trying to like go into the woodwork of like
• 2:14:19
what resources are we not thinking of here? And by
• 2:14:21
this time, I was starting to be exposed to Native
• 2:14:23
American indigenous practices and new energetic therapies, Ibrahim Kareem stuff
• 2:14:28
out of Egypt. And it was like, OK, show me something.
• 2:14:31
Give me some tool here. And we stumbled upon this
• 2:14:36
very simple tool which is called emotion code therapy. And
• 2:14:39
it's a simple way of bringing the mind into awareness
• 2:14:42
of where an emotion is stored inside of itself and
• 2:14:44
then you run a magnet over the forehead. over the
• 2:14:47
top of the head to reset the magnetic pull of
• 2:14:49
the water around the brain. And it changes the neurochemistry.
• 2:14:53
And so it was a powerful tool. I was super
• 2:14:55
excited about it. But most of these kids coming in
• 2:14:57
so affected wouldn't even get close enough for me to
• 2:14:59
do the therapy. So we started doing it on the
• 2:15:02
moms to show the kid, hey, this is safe. And
• 2:15:04
they'd come in and get a couple of treatment. After
• 2:15:07
two years of this, we started to realize all of
• 2:15:09
the kids were improving before we ever got that treatment installed.
• 2:15:14
They were improving when mom got treated. That started to
• 2:15:18
make me realize they're not expressing a personal experience. They're
• 2:15:21
expressing a field effect. Their intent is wide open. And
• 2:15:24
when we removed mom's emotional stressors, the kid got better.
• 2:15:29
And so we started treating everybody in the field. And
• 2:15:33
a heavily autistic child will require three to five full-time
• 2:15:37
efforts to get it. So they got a grandma, two aunties,
• 2:15:40
an uncle, two brothers that are taking care of the kid.
• 2:15:43
And we started treating the whole field. Like anybody who
• 2:15:45
has touched with this kid in a week, we want
• 2:15:47
to see them. We want to clear their emotional field.
• 2:15:51
The effect was just undeniably effective. Every time you cleared
• 2:15:55
another individual whose emotional field was being felt by the kid,
• 2:15:58
the kid improved. And so what I started to realize
• 2:16:02
is these kids, because they are a wide-open antennae, That
• 2:16:05
cannot damp themselves down. They don't have the filters that
• 2:16:09
would allow them to survive in an abstract fake environment
• 2:16:12
that's artificial through and through. They cannot do it. And
• 2:16:15
so all they can do is feel everything. And now
• 2:16:18
they're feeling what those native cultures must have felt when
• 2:16:21
Europeans showed up for the first time. Neurologic systems that
• 2:16:25
are wide open that suddenly see an abstract human being
• 2:16:30
and the suffering they are in will collapse its own neurology.
• 2:16:35
will overwhelm the system. And so the same thing that
• 2:16:38
our autistic are showing today, I believe is very similar
• 2:16:41
to what it must have felt like to be an
• 2:16:43
Inca or Mayan in your habitat and suddenly see the
• 2:16:47
field disrupted by a stress signal, an unbelievable signal that
• 2:16:53
just broke the whole field. So we have stories about floods,
• 2:16:58
but we're still thinking of the flood as a physical
• 2:17:00
wave of water that came over. Is it possible that
• 2:17:04
the flood was actually a neurologic experience of overwhelm that
• 2:17:08
wiped out the entire memory bank? Did we do that
• 2:17:13
when a sector of humanity truly experienced and believed itself
• 2:17:16
to be separate from nature for a moment? Was there
• 2:17:19
  an original abandonment?
• 2:17:20
  Speaker 1: I don't think it has. They're mutually exclusive. And I
• 2:17:24
think there's a lot of physical evidence that the impact,
• 2:17:27
the Younger Dryas impact theory specifically is real.
• 2:17:30
Speaker 2: I agree there's water. I agree water goes up and down.
• 2:17:32
I agree that there's massive floods. But when we talk
• 2:17:35
about the Inca and the Aztec, there was no flood
• 2:17:36
at that time. So what I'm really getting at is,
• 2:17:39
is it possible there's something other than just physical floods?
• 2:17:43
  Can there be energetic floods?
• 2:17:44
Speaker 1: So in that case, these settlers coming across, not just
• 2:17:49
the diseases, but just the fact that they were there.
• 2:17:51
Speaker 2: They can shatter a field.
• 2:17:52
Speaker 1: They're marauders. These people are coming in on horseback. They
• 2:17:56
  have muskets.
• 2:17:57
Speaker 2: They think they've been kicked out of nature for a
• 2:17:59
thousand years. They're terrified that they're going to die.
• 2:18:01
Speaker 1: They're cutting people's arms off if they don't give them
• 2:18:03
their weight in gold. Yeah. Yeah.
• 2:18:05
Speaker 2: They're breaking the field.
• 2:18:07
Speaker 1: Yeah. You've read some of the depictions. There was– Was
• 2:18:11
it a bishop or– someone traveled with– some religious person
• 2:18:18
traveled with Columbus' first crew and wrote these horrific depictions
• 2:18:22
of what they did to the native people that they found.
• 2:18:25
And once they found that these people had gold, that
• 2:18:27
they demanded their way in gold, were cutting their arms
• 2:18:30
off and dashing babies' heads on rocks. They were– horrific stuff.
• 2:18:34
I forget the guy who it was, but it was
• 2:18:36
some religious figure who traveled with them. Here he is.
• 2:18:42
Bartolome de las Casas. So he's a Spanish lawyer, clergyman, writer,
• 2:18:47
and activist best known for his work as a historian
• 2:18:50
and social reformer. So this is the guy. And so
• 2:18:56
he recorded what the Spanish settlers did. He described and
• 2:19:00
rallied against the atrocities committed by the conquistadors against the
• 2:19:04
indigenous people, arriving as one of the first Spanish settlers
• 2:19:07
in America. Los Casas initially participated in the colonial economy
• 2:19:12
built on forced indigenous labor, but eventually felt compelled to
• 2:19:15
oppose the abuses committed by European colonists against the indigenous population.
• 2:19:21
So he's one of the reasons why we know that
• 2:19:22
we probably shouldn't be celebrating Columbus Day. He probably wasn't
• 2:19:25
  a great guy.
• 2:19:28
Speaker 2: And I wish it was distant history, but it's still happening.
• 2:19:32
The cartels are still doing that down and throughout this
• 2:19:34
whole region that we're talking about. And they're still beheading
• 2:19:36
people with machetes and they're still And we, as the
• 2:19:41
United States, have killed more people than any other peoples
• 2:19:44
in history. We have been a machine of death for
• 2:19:47
250 years like none other. And we've done it in
• 2:19:49
the name of freedom. We've done it in the name of,
• 2:19:51
you know, our God is better than your God. And
• 2:19:54
so we have used these altruistic shields to become the
• 2:19:58
biggest death machine in the world. An incredible medical paper
• 2:20:01
was published just recently in The Lancet. And it looked
• 2:20:04
at the number of global deaths from just U.S. citizens.
• 2:20:08
economic sanctions over the last 40 years. And the number
• 2:20:11
was around 35 million people dead. 35 million people dead,
• 2:20:16
not with a single tank, not with a single plane
• 2:20:19
in the air, not a single drone from economic sanctions.
• 2:20:23
And so when we keep telling ourselves that we need
• 2:20:26
money for our own health, for our own houses, we
• 2:20:30
need healthcare insurance, therefore we need money. The assurance of
• 2:20:34
health will never come from a company that doesn't care
• 2:20:36
about you. It will always come from biology. It will
• 2:20:39
always come from an earth that allowed you to conceive
• 2:20:41
  in your mother's womb.
• 2:20:42
Speaker 1: Well, we're in a very perverted system. If health is
• 2:20:46
dependent upon these organizations whose primary focus is to make
• 2:20:50
the most money possible, that's crazy. And then recommend to
• 2:20:54
you drugs that you absolutely don't need and then hide
• 2:20:57
studies that these drugs are damaging to you.
• 2:21:00
Speaker 2: It's crazy unless you think that everything comes from money
• 2:21:03
  and then it makes sense.
• 2:21:05
Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, it makes sense that, you know, the old adage,
• 2:21:09
money is the root of all evil. When did that
• 2:21:12
get written? Who wrote that? What quote's that from? I
• 2:21:15
know that quote so well, I have no idea who
• 2:21:17
wrote it. Do you have any idea?
• 2:21:19
Speaker 2: That's the oldest adage in politics.
• 2:21:21
Speaker 1: I wonder who's credited with that. They probably stole it
• 2:21:25
from somebody else. Does it say? The Bible. The Bible.
• 2:21:34
There you go. Ah! Timothy 1, 6, 10.
• 2:21:40
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 2:21:41
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 2:21:42
Speaker 2: So that would have been Aramaic. Timothy was speaking Aramaic.
• 2:21:46
  Speaker 1: Wow.
• 2:21:46
Speaker 2: So Aramaic was a critical language that has been forgotten
• 2:21:49
in our Christian world of New Testament, Old Testaments. But
• 2:21:52
most of it is written or spoken in Aramaic, not
• 2:21:54
  Hebrew or not Greek.
• 2:21:55
Speaker 1: That's the Dead Sea Scrolls. It's all in Aramaic.
• 2:21:58
  Speaker 2: All in Aramaic.
• 2:21:59
Speaker 1: The Dead Sea Scrolls are bananas.
• 2:22:00
Speaker 2: And if you look at the language of Aramaic, then
• 2:22:03
we're getting a layer or two back from abstraction where
• 2:22:05
there's actually shape to those words. that are actually transmitting information.
• 2:22:09
Speaker 1: There's something about looking at that written language as well
• 2:22:13
  that's really compelling.
• 2:22:15
  Speaker 2: Your antenna's up.
• 2:22:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, especially like old languages. There's something about like old Hindu.
• 2:22:21
You look at like ancient Hindu scripts, ancient Tibetan scripts.
• 2:22:24
Speaker 2: Look at Farsi. Yes, Farsi too. Farsi gives me goosebumps.
• 2:22:27
When I read Farsi, when you look at a Rumi
• 2:22:29
poem written in Farsi, you realize he wasn't transmitting a poem.
• 2:22:34
He has so much mathematical truth in a thing that's
• 2:22:37
in the form. He's telling you geometry. He's telling you
• 2:22:42
sacred geometry, the fabric of the universe in the form
• 2:22:45
of a language that is not symbolic. It's a true
• 2:22:51
  depiction of information.
• 2:22:52
Speaker 1: It really is interesting that these ancient languages are so beautiful.
• 2:22:57
  Ancient Hebrew is another one.
• 2:22:58
  Speaker 2: It's beautiful.
• 2:22:59
Speaker 1: You look at it like this is wild to look at.
• 2:23:02
And then when you find out that ancient Hebrew, they
• 2:23:05
didn't have numbers. So the letters doubled as numbers. And
• 2:23:08
so there was actually numerical value in words that were missing.
• 2:23:13
Like when the translations got to Latin and Greek and
• 2:23:18
eventually English, like we lost what they were trying. There
• 2:23:21
was something that they were saying that if they could
• 2:23:23
read it, they knew. There was more context to these
• 2:23:27
words that just simply– You're talking about a bush. You're
• 2:23:30
talking about a tree. You're talking about a lake. There's
• 2:23:33
something to it. It's really, really interesting stuff because it's
• 2:23:37
like why did language get less complex as it got
• 2:23:41
  more recent? That seems strange.
• 2:23:44
Speaker 2: It got more symbolic. So it wasn't necessarily the complexity
• 2:23:47
that was the problem. It was that it separated itself
• 2:23:49
from the actual information. So now the word tree is
• 2:23:54
a symbol of something that actually has never been a noun.
• 2:23:57
So now we have a word that has no movement
• 2:23:59
in it. It's a noun. It does not express movement.
• 2:24:03
And we now assess, you know, 60% of the surface
• 2:24:08
of the earth as a non-living, non-moving thing called a tree.
• 2:24:13
Whereas all native cultures, when you ask them, what is that?
• 2:24:16
They will use a verb. And so what they're saying
• 2:24:18
is that is treeing. That's treeing. That's treeing. Really?
• 2:24:23
  Speaker 1: They use verbs?
• 2:24:24
Speaker 2: It's all verbs. English was the first language to come
• 2:24:27
around and characterize everything as a noun. And that's why
• 2:24:31
it became the language of science is because science broke
• 2:24:34
its relationship to motion. It wanted everything to be static, therefore, studyable, therefore,
• 2:24:39
we could control its variables. And so every time somebody
• 2:24:42
shows you a cancer study, shows you a cardiovascular disease study,
• 2:24:45
I did this for years. I've got a peer-reviewed science,
• 2:24:47
everything else. I was literally having to break every element
• 2:24:51
of nature so that I could prove that my protein,
• 2:24:53
Coop TF1, was the most important thing for cancer. I
• 2:24:57
had to break every relationship to nature that that cancer
• 2:25:01
cell could possibly have before I could study that protein.
• 2:25:04
And so everything that we call trust the science these
• 2:25:07
days is an aberration. It's a symbol of life. It
• 2:25:12
is not life itself. And so science itself has become
• 2:25:15
this noun-structured thing. belief system that has no no flow
• 2:25:20
in it there's no verbing happening in science it's there's
• 2:25:24
  a bacteria there's a mitochondria there's a human cell and
• 2:25:27
we think of those as three different things no it
• 2:25:30
is life lifing and what it's doing is finding more
• 2:25:33
and more ways to stack complexity to get more and
• 2:25:36
more light concentrated per cubic centimeter and everything is in
• 2:25:40
one relationship there is no tree human thing there's life
• 2:25:45
doing biosis, interconnected relationships. And this is getting very fun
• 2:25:51
now is like we actually got the science now to
• 2:25:53
prove that we were wrong. And so we think, okay,
• 2:25:55
here's human DNA, double helix, Watson and Crick. This is
• 2:26:00
Bible of the biologic kingdom now. Everything comes from DNA
• 2:26:05
and human DNA is much better than bacterial DNA because
• 2:26:08
bacteria just have little circle loops of DNA. We have
• 2:26:11
this beautiful spiraling double helix. This is Got to be
• 2:26:14
the best in the land. Then we start in 1992.
• 2:26:19
We set out to decode the human genome. And we thought, well,
• 2:26:23
this is going to be amazing. It's going to be
• 2:26:25
a 40-year project because we knew how many genes we
• 2:26:28
could decode each year with our genetic sequencers. So we
• 2:26:31
thought we were going to have to find 400,000 genes
• 2:26:33
because we knew by this time that we had 400,000
• 2:26:36
different proteins in the human body. So we're like, well,
• 2:26:39
we need to find a gene for each of those
• 2:26:40
because we knew that a gene made an RNA that
• 2:26:43
then made a protein. We knew how it worked. Watson
• 2:26:46
started us off. 1996 rolls around and the team finishes
• 2:26:50
25 years ahead of schedule because there were not 400,000 genes.
• 2:26:55
There was 25,000 genes. Everybody laughed, said, you screwed it up.
• 2:26:59
Three more teams finished over the next two years. The
• 2:27:02
first team was wrong. There was not 25,000 genes. There
• 2:27:04
was 19,000 genes. They had miscounted because they had dual
• 2:27:08
counted some of them. We have less than 20,000 human
• 2:27:11
genes that make a human body. The reason why that's
• 2:27:14
so embarrassing is because a flea has 30,000 genes. A
• 2:27:19
fruit fly has 13,000 genes. So you sit somewhere between
• 2:27:22
a flea and a fruit fly genetically. In fact, you're
• 2:27:25
a little closer to the fruit fly than the flea.
• 2:27:27
That's probably why the flea can jump 40 times its
• 2:27:28
height and you can't. But there is something sitting here
• 2:27:32
right in front of us at the genetic level saying
• 2:27:35
to be human– Is not to be a species. And
• 2:27:39
so what is. all that DNA doing? There's so much
• 2:27:42
DNA in a human. How can we have so few
• 2:27:44
of that, how small of that information actually coding a gene?
• 2:27:47
And it turns out the number is 1.5%. 1.5% of
• 2:27:48
the DNA held inside of a human cell is actually
• 2:27:50
coding for a gene. 98.5% we ended up calling junk DNA.
• 2:27:59
So it was called junk DNA for 25 years until
• 2:28:01
somebody started to realize that we were preserving our junk
• 2:28:05
DNA more carefully and passing that to our young than
• 2:28:08
we were the genes. And so there's something super important
• 2:28:11
being preserved by biology from generation to generation, all this
• 2:28:14
junk DNA. What we now have found out is the mitochondria. Again,
• 2:28:18
200 mitochondria, many different species variants living inside a single
• 2:28:22
human cell because they change their genetic sequencing very rapidly.
• 2:28:26
And so you got maybe a couple hundred different versions
• 2:28:29
of a mitochondria sitting in a single human brain cell. Those,
• 2:28:34
it turns out, are storing their genetic information in the
• 2:28:37
double helix of the human cell. And they go and
• 2:28:40
access inside the human nucleus the gene that is theirs
• 2:28:44
for their own reproductive capacity and pull an RNA out
• 2:28:47
of that, come and decode a protein so they can
• 2:28:50
reproduce every three days for your entire life. So the
• 2:28:53
mitochondria are storing their genes in the human cells. This was...
• 2:28:57
This doesn't fit any biologic map of Watson and Crick.
• 2:29:00
You're starting to realize there's a collective expression in the
• 2:29:04
antenna of being human. And that's what DNA ends up
• 2:29:07
being is it is actually an antenna system that's taking
• 2:29:09
in information and then unwinding and rewinding to reveal different
• 2:29:13
genetic sequences to all of life within a human ecosystem.
• 2:29:18
So we are now convinced genetically that it's impossible that
• 2:29:22
a human is a species else would be somewhere between
• 2:29:24
a flea and a fruit fly. The magic of being
• 2:29:26
human is in the 98.5% of our DNA that doesn't
• 2:29:29
code for a human gene, that is likely coding for
• 2:29:33
all of life. That's what it means to be a
• 2:29:35
keystone species genetically is we are the life. We are
• 2:29:39
the life record. It is happening through us, in us,
• 2:29:41
around us. Life is ascending through a biologic matrix that
• 2:29:45
we call a human body, but it is not a species.
• 2:29:48
It's an ecosystem. And 70 years ago, we started the
• 2:29:51
antibiotic era and we started wiping out the diversity inside
• 2:29:55
of a human body. And so the toxicity of herbicides
• 2:29:59
and pesticides have very little to do to their impact
• 2:30:02
on a human cell. It has to do with the
• 2:30:05
impact on the entire ecosystem that's expressing itself through this
• 2:30:08
massive genomic library that is so big we can't even
• 2:30:12
wrap our head around. If we strung you end to end,
• 2:30:15
you've got around 50 to 70 trillion human cells. Each
• 2:30:19
of those cells has about a meter of DNA bundled
• 2:30:22
inside of every nucleus of every cell If we strung
• 2:30:25
you end to end, we could wrap Joe around the
• 2:30:28
circumference of the planet right at the equator two million times.
• 2:30:33
Your DNA wraps around planet Earth two million times. The
• 2:30:37
amount of genetic information in there is plenty to hold
• 2:30:41
a record and a code for all of life on Earth.
• 2:30:45
It will not surprise me that in the coming years,
• 2:30:48
we start to realize the entire code is here. We
• 2:30:51
found out just recently that you could take the human
• 2:30:53
genome and rearrange it into 178 puzzle pieces and spell
• 2:30:56
pig perfectly. The genome is this warehouse of life of earth.
• 2:31:03
It's not belonging to a human species. And I believe
• 2:31:07
that this is where we are going to really spend
• 2:31:09
a lot of our new excitement around what it means
• 2:31:11
to be human as we start to move into our
• 2:31:13
next era. The antibiotic era is coming to an end.
• 2:31:16
It's crippled our biology and our fertility to a point
• 2:31:19
  where we cannot continue it.
• 2:31:20
Speaker 1: Well, how do we move past it?
• 2:31:22
Speaker 2: We become biologic again. We're going to end the chemical
• 2:31:25
antibiotic era and we're going to move into the biological renaissance.
• 2:31:30
You talked a couple of times about this moment of
• 2:31:34
remembering the renaissance that we can all point to. Sudden
• 2:31:39
explosion in math, science, art, massive. It doesn't make any
• 2:31:45
sense what was happening in 50 years before the Renaissance
• 2:31:48
and then the Renaissance and what would happen in the
• 2:31:50
next 200 years. It was a parametric explosion of creativity
• 2:31:55
of human capacity, human mind capacity, creativity.
• 2:31:58
Speaker 1: What does it coincide with?
• 2:32:00
Speaker 2: A remembrance. The antenna opened up. And so this is
• 2:32:05
the moment we're about to reenter now as we're going
• 2:32:07
into the next Renaissance. And it's happening in people like Dr.
• 2:32:10
Ibrahim Karim. He's suddenly remembering the technology of He's remembering
• 2:32:17
the technology of waveform and its influence on biology. He's
• 2:32:22
not in there inventing this stuff. I've sat with him
• 2:32:26
in cafes and I'll say, well, what about this disease here?
• 2:32:30
And he goes just for a split second into his antennae,
• 2:32:35
draws the shape on the napkin, slides it across the table.
• 2:32:39
He's not producing this stuff. He's remembering this stuff. The
• 2:32:44
antenna is opening up on humankind right now and autism
• 2:32:47
is our supercharged version of that. The autistic neurology is
• 2:32:51
so wide open that we're going to have no choice
• 2:32:53
but to start to remember everything. A kid flies over
• 2:32:57
New York once can remember the entire scape. That's what
• 2:33:00
our antenna is capable of doing. Autistic children are not
• 2:33:05
abnormally genius. They are minds that are unfiltered and bodies
• 2:33:09
that are still in the context of nature. They have
• 2:33:12
not separated. When I sit with an indigenous elder in Africa,
• 2:33:16
the Khoi people, the Khoi have been around for 300,000 years.
• 2:33:20
They have an unbroken oral history for 100,000 years with
• 2:33:25
the exception of that blank point 11,000 to 7,000 years ago.
• 2:33:29
And so they also suffered the amnesia. But 100,000 years
• 2:33:33
of an oral tradition is spectacular. It's twice as long
• 2:33:35
as anything else on the planet, Aboriginal 40,000, Native Americans 40,000,
• 2:33:38
Deep Peru 30,000. 100,000 years of uninterrupted information. You sit
• 2:33:44
with one of these elders, and they have all of
• 2:33:47
the experiential traits that the autistic community has. They can
• 2:33:51
go to the hill. They can communicate telepathically with the
• 2:33:54
forest system. They can tell you what the panther is saying.
• 2:33:56
They can tell you what the moon cycle is saying,
• 2:33:58
not because they've studied it, because they're literally just listening
• 2:34:00
to the information. They're receiving the information. This new renaissance
• 2:34:04
that's beginning is a biological reconnection that is going to
• 2:34:07
be available to us. So much information is That we're
• 2:34:10
not going to sit here listening to podcasts of wondering,
• 2:34:13
scratching our heads about how did the pyramids happen? We're
• 2:34:17
going to start doing it again because there's a cellular
• 2:34:20
understanding of how water and carbon work, how much work
• 2:34:25
you can do instantaneously when you master the ability of
• 2:34:27
the antenna of a human being to organize matter. The
• 2:34:34
pyramids were not built. They were organized, if that makes sense.
• 2:34:37
I believe that when you feel what's happening inside a pyramid,
• 2:34:40
this was all an energetic expression. This is a frequency
• 2:34:45
wavelength expression of something that was energetically priority here. It's
• 2:34:50
an emergent reality that is made by biology when it
• 2:34:53
  feels the whole field.
• 2:34:56
Speaker 1: But how? How do they put it together?
• 2:35:00
Speaker 2: So the people that are remembering this, that are starting
• 2:35:03
to feel what is this, they did it through mind.
• 2:35:06
They did it literally through transmitting information into the natural materials.
• 2:35:11
And so they would cut with their mind with frequency
• 2:35:16
as a transmitter to cut the stones, to organize stones,
• 2:35:19
to move anti-gravity and everything else. And you're bringing this
• 2:35:22
to everybody's attention all the time. These UAPs and everything
• 2:35:25
else that are rushing around here, Gravity only exists in
• 2:35:29
one plane of reality here. And so there's anti-gravity experiences
• 2:35:35
that are the process of waves interrupting the relationship between
• 2:35:39
two bodies. That's gravity. So gravity is the distance plus
• 2:35:43
the mass, or the mass squared plus the distance between the,
• 2:35:46
or multiplied by the distance between the two bodies there.
• 2:35:49
And so you need two bodies in a relationship to
• 2:35:52
create the phenomenon of gravity. Not surprisingly, you can put
• 2:35:55
a waveform between those two that interrupt that relationship. And
• 2:36:00
so when you start to think this way, then UAPs
• 2:36:03
and your pyramids all start to make sense. Like we're
• 2:36:07
so Newtonian in our current belief system. We've forgotten how
• 2:36:11
to believe in quantum physics because we became so committed
• 2:36:14
to the mechanical reality that Newton offered us. Newton said
• 2:36:18
this happens, therefore this happens. Everything is action and reaction,
• 2:36:23
action and reaction. Maybe, or everything is creation. Is the
• 2:36:28
right relationship between action and reaction actually polarity instead of
• 2:36:33
one thing reacting to the other?
• 2:36:35
Speaker 1: What do you think is fueling this current renaissance?
• 2:36:39
Speaker 2: I think it's us getting to the breaking point of
• 2:36:41
human neurology. We can no longer sustain the stories. It
• 2:36:47
took so much energy for us to all believe the
• 2:36:49
stories together. Everything you've ever talked about on this podcast
• 2:36:53
is pushing you. I don't even know if you know
• 2:36:56
you're doing this. You are pushing the human neurology to
• 2:37:00
its breaking point with every podcast. You're challenging the human
• 2:37:04
mind to stretch past its capacity to keep the old
• 2:37:07
stories alive. You're breaking minds. That's why we love you.
• 2:37:14
I have a great affection for all people who do this.
• 2:37:16
And you're one of these people doing this. You are
• 2:37:19
a breaker of false things. And you have an incredible
• 2:37:23
device that you use all the time, which is curiosity.
• 2:37:28
It just won't let you sit still. You're too fucking curious.
• 2:37:33
I love this about you. Cause this is why I
• 2:37:35
was excited to come to your podcast. Not so I
• 2:37:37
could talk about anything. So I could feel you. I
• 2:37:41
wanted to feel what this feels like. Cause this has
• 2:37:44
to be one of the most freaking curious motherfuckers on
• 2:37:47
the planet. What a gift to sit in front of
• 2:37:50
a curious human being. There's nothing that feels better to
• 2:37:54
a human neurology than sensing the other. The impregnation that Dr.
• 2:37:58
Ibrahim Karim mentioned there, that field effect of two fields
• 2:38:02
that come into presence together and imprint, impregnate the other one.
• 2:38:06
It's your curiosity that's got everybody paying attention. We love
• 2:38:11
it because you're not here to tell us you know everything.
• 2:38:14
In fact, you keep challenging us that we don't know anything.
• 2:38:16
You've said it five times on this one.
• 2:38:18
  Speaker 1: We don't know.
• 2:38:19
Speaker 2: That feels so good to a neurology. We don't know.
• 2:38:22
Speaker 1: Well, I also think many people are curious and they
• 2:38:26
also want to hear from other people that are curious
• 2:38:29
as well because we live in this weird world where
• 2:38:32
we've been deceived into thinking that people have short attention spans.
• 2:38:36
It's not true. Your attention span can be hijacked by
• 2:38:39
short attention span media, but it doesn't mean you have
• 2:38:42
a short attention span. Most people that I know, if
• 2:38:46
there's a thing that they like, This is a thing
• 2:38:48
that they're interested in. They have immense attention for it,
• 2:38:51
whether it's a sporting event or a concert they go to.
• 2:38:54
There's a lot of things that you have a lot
• 2:38:56
of attention for. It's just it has to actually resonate
• 2:39:00
with you. And people love when other people are curious
• 2:39:03
because they're curious. Most people are curious.
• 2:39:05
Speaker 2: All humans are curious.
• 2:39:06
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 2:39:07
  Speaker 2: All humans.
• 2:39:08
Speaker 1: If you're not, there's something wrong.
• 2:39:09
  Speaker 2: You're not human.
• 2:39:11
Speaker 1: Well, you just blunted. Life is Life has thrown you
• 2:39:15
some curveballs and you didn't know how to duck.
• 2:39:17
Speaker 2: Oh, you can definitely turn a curiosity off into human.
• 2:39:20
  Speaker 1: No question.
• 2:39:20
Speaker 2: You just separate them from nature long enough.
• 2:39:22
Speaker 1: And you drug them, you know.
• 2:39:24
Speaker 2: That's just a symptom of nature deficit disorder, I think.
• 2:39:27
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you're right. Yeah. I think that's why
• 2:39:29
one of the best remedies for people that are depressed
• 2:39:33
  is physical exercise.
• 2:39:34
Speaker 2: Get them out in nature.
• 2:39:35
Speaker 1: Yeah. Go out in nature.
• 2:39:36
Speaker 2: Go hike and camp for seven days.
• 2:39:38
Speaker 1: Do something that makes you feel alive, gets your blood
• 2:39:40
pumping because that's what's supposed to happen. That's how you're
• 2:39:42
  supposed to exist.
• 2:39:44
Speaker 2: It's been shown three nights of camping outside, never go
• 2:39:46
inside for three days. Your immune system reverts 30 years.
• 2:39:50
Your T cells turn back on. All your stem cells activate.
• 2:39:54
We are living a blunted human experience because we separate
• 2:39:57
  ourselves from nature.
• 2:39:58
Speaker 1: Did you ever watch the Werner Herzog documentary, Happy People? No.
• 2:40:02
It's really fantastic. It's about these people that live in Siberia,
• 2:40:06
and they're so happy. There's like no mental illness. And
• 2:40:09
it's called Happy People, Life in the Taiga. So it's
• 2:40:12
all these people that are off the Taiga River. And
• 2:40:16
these people live a subsistence lifestyle. They hunt and they fish.
• 2:40:22
And that's all they do. They ride around on snowmobiles.
• 2:40:25
They build cabins. They live with their dogs.
• 2:40:28
Speaker 2: Sounds like my life.
• 2:40:29
Speaker 1: Yeah. It's quite fascinating because these people don't have any
• 2:40:33
mental illness. They're all happy. They're all laughing. They get together.
• 2:40:37
They drink and they have parties and they eat food
• 2:40:40
together and they're laughing. And then they go about their work.
• 2:40:43
And then they exist completely embedded in nature. They are nature.
• 2:40:48
  They're a part of it.
• 2:40:49
Speaker 2: And I would offer they're not working at all. They're creating.
• 2:40:51
  Speaker 1: They're living.
• 2:40:52
  Speaker 2: They're creating.
• 2:40:52
Speaker 1: They're living. Zach, this was awesome. This was really fascinating.
• 2:40:56
We've got to do this again.
• 2:40:57
Speaker 2: Can I show you a picture of how we got here?
• 2:40:59
Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Show me a picture of how we got here.
• 2:41:01
Speaker 2: All right. Let's just– I want to go to that
• 2:41:03
next slide because it's going to orient us to like
• 2:41:06
what's actually happening to humankind right now.
• 2:41:08
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 2:41:09
Speaker 2: And so we have established clearly that nature is the
• 2:41:12
context of a connected, interconnected life. And so– can you
• 2:41:17
go back one slide? Oh, yeah. That one will work.
• 2:41:19
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 2:41:19
  Speaker 2: Sorry. Go ahead.
• 2:41:20
  Speaker 1: That one.
• 2:41:22
Speaker 2: And so this is looking at the effect of glyphosate
• 2:41:25
on ATP, which is energy production per cubic centimeter. And
• 2:41:29
so this is looking at that. And this is vehicle
• 2:41:32
meaning control. And so you're producing about 1,600 picomoles per
• 2:41:36
milligram of ATP. These are the mitochondria turning carbon chains
• 2:41:40
of carbohydrates and fatty acids back into light energy. And
• 2:41:44
so you've got this massive energy potential. And then within
• 2:41:46
30 minutes of introduction to just one part per million
• 2:41:49
of glyphosate, which is a common amount that you would
• 2:41:52
see in a lot of your chemical farmed food systems.
• 2:41:56
We've seen this all the way down to 10 parts
• 2:41:58
per billion, which is a thousand times smaller quantity here.
• 2:42:03
And so at these levels, though, you see a sudden
• 2:42:05
collapse of the ATP production. And so now imagine in 1976,
• 2:42:10
we start eating food with residues of this chemical. And
• 2:42:14
suddenly we shut down light per cubic centimeter for the
• 2:42:18
first time in human history, more effectively than ever, probably.
• 2:42:21
And so I'm going to show you on a population
• 2:42:23
scale of billions of people what happens when you start
• 2:42:25
to undermine the light per cubic centimeter. And so you
• 2:42:29
start at obesity in 1980s, four years after introduction of
• 2:42:32
this chemical to our food system. From there, you end
• 2:42:35
up seeing the collapse of the metabolism that we call diabetes.
• 2:42:39
Diabetes is a condition that stems from the obesity in
• 2:42:43
the liver. Obesity is not because you're eating too many calories.
• 2:42:46
It's because the calories can no longer be burned at
• 2:42:48
the mitochondrial level, which is where they should be ending up.
• 2:42:51
So obesity happens when you're eating 2,000, 3,000 calories a
• 2:42:56
day and can only burn 1,500 calories a day because
• 2:42:58
your mitochondria have been poisoned by an antibiotic that's killing
• 2:43:01
the bacteria in the soil just as they're killing the
• 2:43:03
bacteria inside your cells, which are mitochondria. And so as
• 2:43:06
we started seeing these increasing levels of glyphosate heading through
• 2:43:09
the system, you end up with diabetes within a few
• 2:43:12
years because fat stored in the liver, which is where
• 2:43:15
everything gets redirected to if it can't burn in the cell,
• 2:43:17
will ultimately give you insulin resistance. As you get insulin resistance,
• 2:43:21
insulin cannot get the carbohydrates into the cell anyways, and
• 2:43:23
so now you're starving twice. You can't burn it at
• 2:43:25
the mitochondrial level, and you can't get the sugar there.
• 2:43:28
By the 1990s, we started to develop widespread allergies. The
• 2:43:32
most energy-demanding system in the body is the immune system.
• 2:43:35
As the immune system started to fail in its metabolic capacity,
• 2:43:39
relationships started to fail, and we suddenly started to develop
• 2:43:42
a reactive relationship to the foods we were eating. Wheat
• 2:43:46
in 1992 starts causing a massive allergy to gluten. And
• 2:43:51
the gliadin compound in there interacts with glyphosate to synergistically
• 2:43:56
fracture this metabolic capacity. We don't have gluten sensitivity. We
• 2:44:00
have a metabolic collapse that's called glyphosate poisoning. I'll show
• 2:44:04
you the peer-reviewed science we published from that. Within a
• 2:44:07
couple years of allergy, which is basically overwhelm of the
• 2:44:11
immune system to your environment, you ultimately end up with
• 2:44:13
autoimmune disease. This is where your body no longer can
• 2:44:16
sense what's outside and what's inside, and your body becomes
• 2:44:19
the enemy. So autoimmune disease is a steady destruction of
• 2:44:22
your own body by your own immune system that can't
• 2:44:24
tell it's you. You've lost cellular identity. Within a couple
• 2:44:28
years of that, we develop neurologic conditions, ADHD and autism
• 2:44:31
in our children, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's in our adults, as
• 2:44:34
well as MS, ALS, and all the other neurologic degenerative
• 2:44:38
conditions in the middle. In a two-year period, they all
• 2:44:40
went logarithmic. By the early 2000s, we're starting to realize
• 2:44:44
we're in the middle of a cancer epidemic. This is
• 2:44:46
when I was at the University of Virginia developing chemotherapy.
• 2:44:49
And so the cancer epidemic launches. Initially, it's really obvious leukemias, lymphomas,
• 2:44:53
all these bone marrow things. And it's pretty soon by
• 2:44:55
the late 2000s, it's solid tumors. It's prostate cancer, breast cancer,
• 2:44:58
colon cancer, all of them going And so just this
• 2:45:01
explosion of cancer. And that's not because there was more
• 2:45:05
carcinogens around. It's because there was less life. There was
• 2:45:08
less light per cubic centimeter. So every time we go
• 2:45:11
down this ladder, we're seeing less metabolic capacity, less light
• 2:45:15
per cubic centimeter. By the early 2010s, we see this
• 2:45:19
collapse of fertility around the world. Today, 110 countries around
• 2:45:23
the world are below the fertility rate necessary for replacement.
• 2:45:27
  Speaker 1: 110 countries below.
• 2:45:30
Speaker 2: The United States is way below, 1.6 instead of 2.1.
• 2:45:34
Infertility goes global. By the early 2010s, endocrine disruption and
• 2:45:38
genomic instability starts to occur. So these are things like
• 2:45:41
methylation defects and we can no longer detox the body.
• 2:45:43
So we develop stories about Lyme disease and all these
• 2:45:46
conditions of infections when in fact it's just toxicity that
• 2:45:49
can no longer escape the body because we don't have
• 2:45:52
the repair and detox mechanisms there because the metabolism, the life,
• 2:45:56
light energy per cubic centimeter is diminishing. Finally, we see
• 2:46:00
the emergence of gender dysregulation happening in the womb. And
• 2:46:04
so this has probably started in pockets around the world
• 2:46:08
a couple of decades ago. But by the 2010s, mid-15s,
• 2:46:12
we see this happening regularly. And what's happening here is
• 2:46:16
the biology is staying at neutral. Every fetus ever developed
• 2:46:20
in the womb of a woman starts at neutral, neither
• 2:46:23
male nor female. It starts at neutral and then around
• 2:46:26
90 days of embryologic development, it requires an explosion of
• 2:46:29
energy from the mitochondria within it. And it takes that
• 2:46:32
90 days really not to do anything at the human level,
• 2:46:34
but you're growing the garden. You're growing the microbial garden
• 2:46:38
inside the human to get ready for this massive energy
• 2:46:41
discharge that's going to polarize the biology to become male
• 2:46:43
or female. So to move from neutral to male or
• 2:46:46
neutral to female requires this huge energetic thing that we
• 2:46:50
call puberty. So the first puberty happens at 90 days
• 2:46:52
in the womb. There's another one that happens late phase
• 2:46:56
in utero. And then there's the more typical one you
• 2:46:58
see around four or five years old where you start
• 2:47:00
to see differentiation of some of the physical features of
• 2:47:02
boys and girls. And then the classic one around 10
• 2:47:05
to 13 years old. And then another one around 18
• 2:47:07
to 21. And then a final burst that happens in
• 2:47:10
your late 20s. So we go through all of these
• 2:47:12
huge energetic discharges that create polarity that move you away
• 2:47:17
from neutral to one or the other of the sexes.
• 2:47:20
And this isn't like sex as a preference. This is
• 2:47:23
literal neurologic expression. This is the neurology of the deep
• 2:47:27
brain forming the behavioral traits of a human being to
• 2:47:31
become male traits, female traits. If you've ever had two kids,
• 2:47:35
I don't know if you've got kids, but I've got
• 2:47:37
a daughter and a son. They're both adults now and
• 2:47:39
married and thriving. But when you watch a kid develop,
• 2:47:43
it's unbelievable what's pre-programmed in there. The male traits can
• 2:47:47
appear by the time they're six months, nine months old.
• 2:47:50
They're doing something different than their sister did at that
• 2:47:52
same phase. So what we're talking about is this deep
• 2:47:55
programming of the biology as it goes away from center.
• 2:48:00
By the time we had this much glyphosate in the system,
• 2:48:03
so this whole cascade from 1976 to 2020, you're looking
• 2:48:07
at this yellow line that's traveling up there. That's the
• 2:48:10
amount of glyphosate sprayed into our global environment. Today, we
• 2:48:13
spray 3 billion to 4 billion pounds of glyphosate into
• 2:48:16
our global soils. 3 billion pounds of anything is disgusting,
• 2:48:20
but this is an unbelievable amount of antibiotics. That much
• 2:48:23
antibiotic has reduced the metabolic life force of our planet
• 2:48:27
and our species to the point where we have a
• 2:48:29
chronic disease explosion by the 1990s and infertility collapse of
• 2:48:32
the species and then gender dysregulation. So this is how
• 2:48:36
a species goes extinct is it loses its metabolic capacity
• 2:48:39
to concentrate light energy. Light per cubic centimeter is how
• 2:48:43
life occurs. Biosis is the interconnected relationships that make life possible.
• 2:48:48
You undermine those relationships. You decrease the number of relationships
• 2:48:52
per cubic centimeter. and you start to see this pattern
• 2:48:54
evolving of a decrease in repair and regeneration. And so
• 2:48:59
your rate of repair versus your rate of injury suddenly
• 2:49:02
goes out of whack. And a previous rate of injury
• 2:49:05
of eating bread, gluten has a slight impact on your
• 2:49:08
gut behavior, slight decrease there, and you lose fidelity, and
• 2:49:15
the whole thing starts to degrade. So I've spent the
• 2:49:18
last 15 years of my life building systems with people
• 2:49:22
around us that are already tuning into this wider antenna
• 2:49:25
to say, what does biology look like fully supported? So
• 2:49:29
we've created these online programs called Journey, which is journeying
• 2:49:33
humanity back into natural systems to fully support not only
• 2:49:37
the biology and the way it repairs and regenerates, but
• 2:49:39
fully open up the antenna to remember what we were
• 2:49:42
supposed to be doing here, to remember what it feels
• 2:49:45
like to be between heaven and earth, to be floating
• 2:49:47
in this cosmic stew of curiosity, creativity, productivity. That's what's
• 2:49:52
going to make humans humans again. So when we allow
• 2:49:55
our children to become between again and start to stop
• 2:49:58
being programmed into machine-like behavior and start to open up
• 2:50:01
their antenna, we can decide to do that as a
• 2:50:03
society and proactively go about this or autism will emerge
• 2:50:07
to the point where one in three children will have
• 2:50:09
autism by 2035 and we do this anyways. We are
• 2:50:13
going to develop a neurology to escape our mechanical history,
• 2:50:17
our anti-nature, antibiotic nature is going to come to an end.
• 2:50:21
Because bodies are always going to win. Nature is always
• 2:50:23
going to reinvent herself out of whatever stressor is pushing
• 2:50:27
on her at that moment. Right now, human behavior is
• 2:50:30
pushing on nature. If we stop doing that and we
• 2:50:33
let nature come back in, we get to be part
• 2:50:36
of the solution. We become part of it. We step
• 2:50:38
right back into the right relationship with the keystone species.
• 2:50:41
Speaker 1: If people want to see more of this and they
• 2:50:43
want to read more about it, what is your website?
• 2:50:46
Speaker 2: Zach Bush MD is the website, and the book is
• 2:50:48
Biological Elegance, and you're going to only find it there.
• 2:50:51
We're not putting it on Amazon. We're not asking anybody
• 2:50:53
to go after money or abstract systems. We're asking for engagement.
• 2:50:57
I don't want followers. I want builders. I want creators.
• 2:51:00
I want the co-creators that are going to come build
• 2:51:02
this new world with us. This is my excitement and passion,
• 2:51:05
and I think you're doing a great job pushing us there.
• 2:51:07
Speaker 1: Well, thank you, and I know you're going to get
• 2:51:08
a lot of people that check this out now. I'm
• 2:51:10
very excited. This was a fun conversation. Let's definitely do
• 2:51:13
  another one.
• 2:51:14
Speaker 2: I look forward to it.
• 2:51:15
Speaker 1: All right. Thank you very much.
