- 0:00You have already done incredible things, but if no one ever
- 0:06taught you to celebrate them, you probably don't even know it
- 0:12yet. Hello, beautiful soul.
- 0:16Welcome back to the show. I'm Esther coming to you from
- 0:20Switzerland. And today, today I want to talk
- 0:25to you about something that might seem small, but I promise
- 0:30you by the end of this episode, you'll realize it might be one
- 0:37of the most powerful things missing from your life.
- 0:43We're talking about celebrating yourself.
- 0:48Not in a loud, bragging look at me kind of way now.
- 0:54I'm talking about the quiet, sacred act of looking at what
- 1:01you've done, what you've survived, what you've felt, what
- 1:08you've become, and actually letting yourself feel proud,
- 1:15really feel it. In your chest, in your bones, in
- 1:20your soul. And that's exactly where I want
- 1:26to start today. Let me ask you something honest.
- 1:33When was the last time you did something, Finished the project,
- 1:40showed up for someone, got through a hard week, took one
- 1:46small brave step and you actually stopped and said I'm
- 1:53proud of myself, Not just moved on, not just crossed it off the
- 2:01list, but really generally let yourself feel good about it.
- 2:10For most of us, the silence after that question says
- 2:16everything. I know because I lived that
- 2:21silence for years. Growing up celebrating yourself
- 2:28just wasn't something we did. It wasn't in my family DNA.
- 2:35It wasn't modelled for me. It wasn't even a conversation.
- 2:41You did the thing and then you moved to the next thing.
- 2:47Full stop. And I think so many of us,
- 2:52especially women, especially people who were raised to be
- 2:59humble, to not take up too much space, we carry this invisible
- 3:07belief that pride is arrogance, that celebrating yourself is
- 3:15showing off. What if celebrating your
- 3:20progress is actually the fuel that keeps you going?
- 3:28That's the shift I want to invite you into to today.
- 3:36A few years ago, I stepped into an an extraordinary world.
- 3:42The world of Tony Robbins. As a crew member, as a
- 3:48volunteer, as someone who said yes to showing up and serving at
- 3:56his events. And inside that world, I learned
- 4:02something that sounds almost ridiculously simple.
- 4:09Whenever someone shared something they had done,
- 4:14something they had accomplished, something they were working on,
- 4:21we would stop everything and we would do this one 2-3 you rock,
- 4:30clapping, cheering the whole group and then the person
- 4:36themselves would say out loud, I rock.
- 4:42I rock Esther. The first time I did it, I
- 4:49thought, OK, this is a little strange, maybe even a little
- 4:56silly, but I felt awkward. I felt like I was pretending.
- 5:04But here's what I didn't expect. The more I did it, the more I
- 5:11let myself say those words, the more I let the cheering land.
- 5:19Something started to shift. Not on the outside.
- 5:24On the inside, I became someone who celebrates her small wins.
- 5:32Someone who sees progress where she used to only see how far she
- 5:40still had to go. And I carry that practice with
- 5:46me everywhere now. In our weekly mastermind group,
- 5:535 people, four different countries, all on this pass
- 5:58together. Every time someone shares about
- 6:03their week, we stop, we celebrate, we hold space for
- 6:09each other's courage, no matter how small the step, because
- 6:15small steps deserve big celebrations.
- 6:21That's not a nice idea. That's a lot of momentum.
- 6:28I want to share something personal with you today.
- 6:32Last week I received a box. It came from the United States.
- 6:40I opened it and inside there were orange T-shirts.
- 6:46Not just any T-shirts in white letters it said senior leader.
- 6:54I stood there holding that T-shirt and I cried happy tears,
- 7:02full heart tears, because 10 years ago, I want you to really
- 7:10hear this. 10 years ago, I was someone who admired the coaches
- 7:18and senior leaders at Tony Robbins events from a distance.
- 7:23I watched them move through the room with this presence, this
- 7:30confidence, this deep knowing of who they were, and I thought,
- 7:38that could never be me. I'm not the leader.
- 7:42I hide. I don't step up for myself.
- 7:46I speak up for my sons at school, yes, but when it comes
- 7:52to my own life, my own truth, my own voice, I shrink.
- 8:01And yet here I am, holding the T-shirt with the written
- 8:08letters. Senior leader, you cannot buy
- 8:13this title. You cannot pass an exam for it.
- 8:18There is no diploma on the wall. It happens through years of
- 8:25small steps, years of showing up.
- 8:30Years of inner transformation. Years of saying yes when fear
- 8:37said no. Years of crewing at the events,
- 8:42attending the Leadership Academy, going back to date with
- 8:48destiny, serving again and again, even when I wasn't sure I
- 8:55was ready. I had already served at 2 events
- 9:02as a senior leader. But today, holding that T-shirt
- 9:07in my hands, seeing senior leader in white letters on that
- 9:13bright blazing orange, my heart felt something it doesn't always
- 9:21let itself feel. Pride.
- 9:25Real, full, unashamed pride. And I want to celebrate it out
- 9:33loud because that's what I've learned to do.
- 9:40Now. I want to be really clear about
- 9:44something. I'm not sharing this to brag.
- 9:49I'm not sharing this to impress you or make you feel like you're
- 9:54not enough. I'm sharing this because I know.
- 10:00I know that there's something in your life right now.
- 10:07A dream sitting on the shelf. A goal that feels too big, too
- 10:14far, too impossible for Someone Like You.
- 10:19Maybe it's starting your own business.
- 10:22Maybe it's healing a relationship, maybe it's writing
- 10:27the book, recording the first episode, having the difficult
- 10:33conversation, leaving but no longer serves you, stepping into
- 10:40who you know you're meant to be. Whatever it is, it's not too
- 10:47far, it's not too big, it's not impossible.
- 10:53It just requires something we often forget.
- 10:59Patience, small steps, and the courage to celebrate every
- 11:05single one of them. Think about how a mountain is
- 11:12climbed not in one giant leap from the valley to the summit.
- 11:19Step by step, breath by breath, and that every clearing, every
- 11:27view, you pause. You look at how far you've come
- 11:33and you say, look at that, I did that.
- 11:39That pause, that celebration is what gives you the energy to
- 11:45keep going. For me, it started with crewing
- 11:50virtually at the Tony Robbins event from my living room in
- 11:56Switzerland. That was step one.
- 12:00Then attending the Leadership Academy, showing up at his
- 12:06events in person in Colonia, crewing, serving, growing into
- 12:13leadership, and today the T-shirt.
- 12:18Each step was a celebration. Each celebration gave me courage
- 12:25for the next step. And I want that for you.
- 12:32So how do you do this practically?
- 12:36Let me give you something real to take away today.
- 12:41Step one, notice the next time you do something, anything,
- 12:49pause before you move on. Don't rush to the next task.
- 12:55Just stop for three seconds and ask, did I just do that?
- 13:03Step two, name it, say it out loud.
- 13:09I made that call I was afraid to make.
- 13:13I showed up today even though I was exhausted.
- 13:18I said no when everything in me wanted to say yes to keep the
- 13:24peace, I took the first step. Step three.
- 13:31Feel it. Don't just think it.
- 13:35Let it move through your body. Put your hand on your heart.
- 13:42Smile, jump if you need to, need to say I'm proud of myself for
- 13:50this. Step 4.
- 13:54Tell someone, send a voice message, write it in your
- 13:59journal, share it in a group of people who get it.
- 14:05Celebration multiplies when it's witnessed.
- 14:12Because here's the truth. What you celebrate, you repeat,
- 14:18and what you repeat you become. The more you celebrate, the
- 14:25small wins, the more your nervous system learns.
- 14:31Progress is safe. Growth is good.
- 14:36I'm capable. I'm becoming, and slowly,
- 14:40quietly, beautifully, the small steps start to add up to
- 14:48something that takes your breath away.
- 14:53I want to leave you with this before we close.
- 14:58Whatever you are working toward right now, be patient with
- 15:03yourself. The world is so fast, social
- 15:09media shows you everyone else highlight and your nervous
- 15:14system whispers you're falling behind.
- 15:19But you are not falling behind. You are on your path, and your
- 15:25path has its own timing. Don't compare your chapter 3 to
- 15:33someone else's Chapter 20. Don't give up because the goal
- 15:39seems far. It only seems far when you're
- 15:44standing at the bottom looking up.
- 15:48Start walking. Take one step, celebrate it,
- 15:54take another. And please, please be as kind to
- 16:00yourself as you would be to someone you love.
- 16:06Celebrate yourself the way you would celebrate your best
- 16:12friend, your child, your sister. You deserve your own applause.
- 16:21123 You rock. Say it, say your name, mean it.
- 16:31I'm so grateful you spent this time with me today, that you
- 16:37showed up for yourself by pressing play.
- 16:42That is already a win worth celebrating.
- 16:48I'm Esther, coming to you from Switzerland, a country of
- 16:53mountains that know something about patients and about the
- 16:59view that rewards every step. If today's episode touched your
- 17:07heart, please share it with someone who needs to hear it,
- 17:13someone who has been too hard on themselves for too long.
- 17:19Someone who is doing so much more than they give themselves
- 17:25credit for. And if you have a moment, leave
- 17:31a review or send me a message. I love hearing from you, I
- 17:37really do. And before I let you go, I want
- 17:44to offer you something. If today's episode steered
- 17:49something in you. If there's a goal you've been
- 17:54carrying quietly, a dream you're not sure how to start, or a
- 18:01version of yourself you keep glimpsing but don't quite know
- 18:07how to step into, I want to invite you to a free coaching
- 18:13session with me. Just you and me.
- 18:17No pressure, no pitch. Just a real, honest conversation
- 18:23about where you are, where we want to go, and what that next
- 18:30small step might look like for you.
- 18:34This is the work I love most. Sitting across from someone or
- 18:40across from a screen and helping them see what's they cannot yet
- 18:47see about themselves. Helping them feel, maybe for the
- 18:52first time, what it's like to be truly celebrated, to have
- 18:59someone say, I see you, I believe in you, you've got this
- 19:07because you do. You absolutely do.
- 19:13All you have to do is reach out. You'll find the link in the show
- 19:17notes, or you can send me a message directly.
- 19:22I would be so honored to walk this next step with you.
- 19:28Until next time, keep going, keep celebrating, keep becoming
- 19:36with so much love Esther from Switzerland for the World.
