An Easter Diary Confession
Aired: Apr 17th, 1949. It's Easter Sunday in Beverly Hills, and while Jack primes himself for a stroll down Wilshire Boulevard, Rochester can't resist sneaking a peek at the diary Jack brought home from New York. Between digs at Fred Allen, a name-drop dinner with CBS's William Paley, and a suspiciously repetitive string of entries about talking to his sponsor and lawyer, the diary spills more than Jack ever meant to share. The episode closes with Jack and Mary joining the Easter parade crowds, sparring over Mary's daring new dress along the way.
