**Silver DRAMA** 🔥 Why STACKERS Must Be ALERT! - Gold Price News Update too · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:01
Silver and gold drama and trauma over the last two days, we've
• 0:07
been put through the mill, but we're going to feel better by
• 0:10
the end of this live stream because there's a lot of reasons
• 0:13
and examples why we can still be super optimistic about the
• 0:18
silver and gold price. But but for today, with the
• 0:21
trauma and drama that we've been through and we're used to it,
• 0:25
we're going to be the the silver support group, right?
• 0:28
My name is Ron and I've been battered by gold and silver.
• 0:32
You probably have to. But again, guys, we're going to
• 0:35
look at the long term reasons and even short term reasons.
• 0:39
We're going to look at things like, I'll just give you a
• 0:41
little, a little taste right now.
• 0:43
Real rates of the simple math behind what's going on.
• 0:46
The big deal about China that nobody's talking about.
• 0:50
I've got some major speculation in that area with this summit
• 0:54
and and whatnot as well. We've got bond Armageddon.
• 0:58
Where did that come from? Right?
• 1:00
But that's also very supportive for the gold and silver price,
• 1:03
the COMEX and inflation. Let's get started right now.
• 1:07
We had $90.00 silver on what, Wednesday, right?
• 1:12
I think in China on the Shanghai Gold Exchange, we actually hit
• 1:17
like $100 per oz. And I'm in trouble with upstairs
• 1:20
Susie, my lovely guest, because I forgot to say thank you and
• 1:23
welcome basement dwellers. We believe in the long term
• 1:28
story value you in gold and silver because we understand
• 1:32
history and we understand math. Let's get to it.
• 1:35
All right, back to it. Yeah, $90.00 to $76.
• 1:39
  That's like 1/6. That's like 15% in two days.
• 1:44
So look, it's normal that we are feeling a little bit beat up,
• 1:47
but something very, very important for us to remember.
• 1:52
Things are tenuous right now in the world.
• 1:56
The reason why we are living through a period of change like
• 2:00
no other in history. The last 50 years were
• 2:03
significant, but what's happening right now and what's
• 2:06
likely to happen in the coming years are, are, are are major
• 2:10
events that we're going to look back on as historic.
• 2:13
But the big key thing, and do you notice this as well?
• 2:17
I've actually heard Andy Scheckman talk about this at one
• 2:19
point and it's something that I believe 100% as well.
• 2:23
Things are also happening much faster right now.
• 2:26
I mean, one example, and we're going to talk about it more
• 2:29
later, was that suddenly yesterday we had a bond market
• 2:33
crisis, right? And remember, the bond market is
• 2:36
like the biggest market in the world, way bigger than the stock
• 2:40
market. Like out of nowhere, suddenly
• 2:43
all I'm reading about is bond crisis.
• 2:45
I'm like what? I thought Trump was in China.
• 2:49
Now we got a bond crisis and everything's crashing.
• 2:52
Anyway, we're going to get more into that later.
• 2:54
Sentiment. That's the other thing, right?
• 2:57
Sentiment for gold and silver. Are you feeling whipsawed?
• 3:00
That's because you are right. That's because we had this
• 3:04
unbelievable run up in early 2026, late 2025.
• 3:11
Silver in particular went into like, let's, let's, let's rate
• 3:15
it on a scale of 1 to 10 sentiment.
• 3:17
Like, it was almost like a mania, like 8 1/2, not quite 10
• 3:21
out of 10. We haven't seen that yet.
• 3:23
Wait till we have the silver squeeze.
• 3:25
And then over the last two or three months, sentiment really
• 3:28
got crappy in the gold and silver sector.
• 3:31
Everybody I know, I can see it, right?
• 3:33
Like people like we believe, don't get me wrong, I'm 100% I'm
• 3:37
a believer. This is the silver and gold
• 3:39
support group. But a lot of people out there,
• 3:42
we're getting like negative on gold and silver.
• 3:44
And then over like the last week and 1/2, it started to perk up
• 3:48
again and then they like pulled the rug right up from underneath
• 3:53
us over the last two days. Guys, that is designed, Please
• 3:57
remember this. That is designed to to elicit an
• 4:01
emotional response. And it's no fun.
• 4:04
Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling you should be happy
• 4:06
about what happened, 'cause I'm not OK.
• 4:08
But it's designed to elicit an emotional response so that
• 4:12
people make stupid, I'm sorry, unwise long term decisions like,
• 4:18
Oh my God, this guy's fun. I'm going to sell, sell, sell.
• 4:21
It's the same thing like when when silver was at $110 and
• 4:24
people are like, I'm going to buy, buy, buy, buy, buy.
• 4:26
And I'm not putting anybody down who bought.
• 4:29
But you trust me, right? The sentiment goes in cycles.
• 4:35
And to the extent that we can remove emotion from all this,
• 4:39
the the better off we'll be. OK, So what are the reasons?
• 4:41
Let's dig in. Why did gold go down?
• 4:44
  Oh, why? It's because of.
• 4:46
It's because of. Well, it's because of this.
• 4:48
Here, let's go out to Kitco and see what they're telling us, and
• 4:51
then I'll tell you why I disagree 150%.
• 4:57
Here we are from Kitco, our good friend Niels Christensen.
• 5:00
Yesterday, gold and silver slammed as the Iran war fuels
• 5:05
inflation and rate hike fears got cup 2 paragraphs in blue.
• 5:11
Gold investors and silver investors are once again dealing
• 5:15
with dashed bullish hopes and dreams.
• 5:18
No, we're not temporarily, as no meaningful progress has been
• 5:24
made toward ending the war in Iran and reopening the Straits
• 5:27
of Hormuz, which continues to drive oil prices higher and
• 5:32
  stroke stoke inflation fears. Luke.
• 5:36
  What's this guy's name? Luckman.
• 5:37
  Lukeman. I don't know.
• 5:39
It's interesting name Lukeman. Otto Garagnonga, senior analyst
• 5:44
at FXTM, described the price action as a House of Cards
• 5:48
falling apart. It's not that bad, Luckman.
• 5:51
As interest rate expectations have jumped significantly higher
• 5:57
ahead of the weekend. So they're blaming it on
• 6:01
essentially guys, interest rates going up.
• 6:05
Real interest rates when real interest rates go up, right?
• 6:09
That's bad for gold, right? When they become more positive
• 6:12
when 'cause they're going to have to raise BS, OK, BS.
• 6:16
I'll tell you why. I'll tell you exactly why.
• 6:19
Because they're, they're saying, oh, interest rates are going to
• 6:21
go up. Look, the reality is like,
• 6:25
let's, I make it real easy for you, real interest rates, you
• 6:29
take the prevailing interest rate and you subtract the
• 6:33
inflation rate. So if interest rates are at 4%
• 6:36
  and inflation's at 8%, you subtract 8 from 4, you get -4%.
• 6:40
That's good for gold and silver. What they're saying is because
• 6:44
interest rates are going up, right?
• 6:46
And inflation, apparently they forgot about inflation.
• 6:49
We're going to look at some data later from the world's top
• 6:51
economist that are even saying inflation going up.
• 6:54
They're forgetting that inflation is going up even more
• 6:58
rapidly and that will create even more negative real interest
• 7:04
rates. So look what happened over the
• 7:06
  last two days. Erase it.
• 7:10
It's a bunch of bunk. But the other big factor that
• 7:15
nobody's talking about is the simple math.
• 7:18
All roads, no matter how at this point, OK, the Fed can't raise
• 7:22
rates. And we're going to look at that
• 7:24
here in a second from like the the the guru of the day, Michael
• 7:28
  Gentilly. I got a A2 paragraphs we're
• 7:30
going to read from him. the Fed can't raise rates.
• 7:33
OK, the Fed can't control inflation either.
• 7:37
Think about it. So real interest rates are going
• 7:39
to become more and more negative.
• 7:41
And think about this. I don't want to go too far down
• 7:43
the rabbit hole of real interest rates, but to make it easy, in
• 7:46
case you don't quite understand how this real interest rate
• 7:49
thing works, think about this. Let's make believe that you and
• 7:53
I have $100,000 sitting in a bank account getting 0%
• 7:58
  interest. Okay.
• 7:59
And we decide to buy a one year certificate of deposit.
• 8:03
I went out and looked on Fidelity Investments.
• 8:05
Right now you can get paid 4% interest on a one year
• 8:08
certificate of deposit. So today you got 100 grand and
• 8:12
in one year you're going to have 104.
• 8:14
You're going to make 4% but remember something you got to
• 8:18
pay taxes on that 4% interest that you earned.
• 8:21
So instead of making 4000, you're only going to make $3000
• 8:26
over that year. If inflation is a that 6%, OK,
• 8:32
that $103,000 is, is not going to buy the same thing that it
• 8:38
would have at the beginning of the year cuz you would now need
• 8:42
  106,000. That's how that that's how the
• 8:46
  real interest rate calculation works.
• 8:48
So people look at that and say, well, it's not worth putting my
• 8:51
money in ACD my I'm better off buying gold or buying silver,
• 8:55
which I would agree with, but I'm not a financial advisor.
• 8:58
So don't make financial decisions decisions based on
• 9:00
  what I'm saying. But it's a bunch, it's a bunch
• 9:04
of bunk, a bunch of short term noise going on right now.
• 9:07
OK, simple math indicates to us that all roads lead to AD value,
• 9:12
dollar and inflation. Inflation is the number one
• 9:16
thing. Only thing real simple that we
• 9:18
got to think about in the coming year, five years, 10 years OK,
• 9:23
higher look gold and silver will give us higher price.
• 9:28
The higher price and protection right is what we get from
• 9:31
precious metals. Now let's go to Michael
• 9:33
Gentilly. Let's talk about how this math
• 9:36
works. Michael Gentilly, if you don't
• 9:39
know who he is super he's the he's the guru of the day here in
• 9:43
Ron's basement super respected super smart guy out there in the
• 9:47
precious metal sector. I've got he puts out a Saturday
• 9:50
  morning e-mail. I've got 2 paragraphs I
• 9:53
screenshotted to share with you to tell you why we are up a out
• 9:58
of paddle, he says. I can recall YouTube interviews
• 10:00
I recorded back in 2019 when rates were close to or effective
• 10:06
0, where I said that if interest rates were to rise from their 0%
• 10:11
level 6 years ago to the 5% level where we are today with 40
• 10:17
trillion of debt, the US government would be effectively
• 10:21
insolvent. He then goes on to say, well,
• 10:24
those days have now arrived. It's no longer a what if
• 10:32
scenario but a reality. Let's have some fun with numbers
• 10:36
below to illustrate my point. Pete, please bear with me as
• 10:39
this exercise is very much worth doing and understanding.
• 10:44
So then he goes on to show, right, that our current $40
• 10:48
trillion of national debt and all this debt, a lot of it needs
• 10:52
to be refinanced and rolled over very soon.
• 10:56
That's 2 trillion a year in interest expense, right, at our
• 10:59
current 40 trillion debt. Now what I want to say, right,
• 11:03
And that's like 40% of the money that our government brings in.
• 11:06
That would be like you or me having 40% of our income being
• 11:12
spent on just interest, excuse me, just interest on a bunch of
• 11:19
debt that are you and I and our significant others racked up.
• 11:23
But think about this, if that debt level goes to 50 trillion,
• 11:27
which it will, and let's say interest rates go to 8%, which
• 11:31
they can't, this proves the point, right?
• 11:35
  That's that's 4 trillion a year in interest alone.
• 11:40
That's not paying down the debt, that's just paying the interest.
• 11:45
So when all this bunk is going on, you know, like this noise
• 11:49
that we had over the last two days, gold and silver getting
• 11:52
smushed and oh, the feds going to have to raise, the Fed can't
• 11:55
raise rates. And interestingly, the Fed can't
• 12:01
really control inflation, OK? And overtime is that inflation
• 12:07
number continues to grow and it will OK, that will make real
• 12:13
interest rates more negative and it will create an even more
• 12:19
lucrative environment for the gold and silver market.
• 12:21
If you want to get your hands on some silver right now there's
• 12:24
only one mint I know of that specializes only in silver and
• 12:29
that's channel sponsor right there first meant you guys love
• 12:32
them, the basement dweller community and they've even given
• 12:35
us a special discount code VIPRB.
• 12:39
But the important thing is the feedback that the community gets
• 12:43
gives to each other and to us about your experience with First
• 12:47
  Mint. Great prices, great selection,
• 12:50
  world class silver bullion products.
• 12:53
I'll pull out the old favorite. That's the five ounce.
• 12:57
Look at that. That's 5 ounces of silver.
• 13:00
That's the five ounce silver bar.
• 13:02
But they have bars, they have rounds, a whole array of
• 13:06
products that you can check out right here at their website,
• 13:09
firstmint.com. Make sure you tell them Ron's
• 13:13
Basement sent ya, OK? Free shipping on orders over
• 13:16
$299 and they have a special going right now on their Liberty
• 13:21
bar. Their one ounce bar 1 oz bars
• 13:24
are awesome, $2.00 off and that price is reflected on the price
• 13:31
that you will see on their website.
• 13:33
Thank you. First meant for sponsoring Ron's
• 13:36
basement. But I do owe you guys an
• 13:38
apology. I said I would eat crow last
• 13:41
weekend. I said I thought that the silver
• 13:42
price would be between 83 and $85 this weekend.
• 13:47
Well apparently I was wrong. We did get there early in the
• 13:50
week, but right now I'm certainly wrong on where the
• 13:55
silver price is. All right, let's move on.
• 13:58
This is are you getting a little, I'm just, I'll say
• 14:02
speculate. I'm getting a little suspicious
• 14:05
about the supposed massive success of the summit that
• 14:11
President Donald Trump just had in China.
• 14:13
Not a political channel, not a political statement, but we keep
• 14:17
getting these messages, excuse me, that everything was great,
• 14:23
  everything's awesome, everything's wonderful.
• 14:26
And as soon as that, two things happen.
• 14:28
When he was there, the price of gold and silver cratered.
• 14:32
But as soon as we got back right, the stock market on
• 14:35
Friday went down huge. And then the bond market.
• 14:39
And guys, we the why, very important reason why we need to
• 14:43
pay attention to the bond market.
• 14:45
All of us are brainwashed in a couple things here in the United
• 14:50
States of America. The paper money has value, but
• 14:53
that the other thing is like the stock market is so important, so
• 14:56
important and it is important, but the bond market, here's a
• 15:00
little secret, is multiple times bigger.
• 15:04
So Trump gets back from this supposed, you know, great
• 15:07
productive summit and all of a sudden what happens, right?
• 15:12
The bond market implodes the biggest market in the world.
• 15:15
  So I don't know. I'm a little, a little, I don't
• 15:18
say I don't know, like my, my Spidey senses tingling like
• 15:22
what's going on? We are we are living through
• 15:24
some very, very, very interesting times.
• 15:27
And then I saw this and I happened to to agree with it.
• 15:33
Where is it? Hold on one second here.
• 15:39
Here we go. Brian London says looks like
• 15:44
China. It looks like China got
• 15:48
something out of the meeting, a cheaper price for all the gold
• 15:51
they're buying. And I thought, you know what?
• 15:53
That's kind of true. It's just weird that that the
• 15:57
Trump went to China and like, and I'm not blaming Trump and
• 16:02
I'm, I'm speculating. I'm just saying it makes me a
• 16:05
little curious and suspicious that what happened over there
• 16:09
because like the price of silver and in China, the price of
• 16:12
silver on the Shanghai Gold Exchange really went down.
• 16:16
Let's see if we can pull that up real quick.
• 16:18
I forgot to have that here. Hold on.
• 16:20
We're going to go on a little field trip together, my friends,
• 16:23
and we're going to go out to the hold on Oriental Ghost and see
• 16:33
if we can get an update here on Here we go.
• 16:38
Oriental should pull him up. There he is.
• 16:41
We love him. See if he's got the update from
• 16:44
Friday on. Here it is, right here.
• 16:49
Yeah. Well, they were down like us,
• 16:50
10%, so $88. And where are we?
• 16:54
So there's still the price of silver in China is still wow,
• 17:01
hold on, let's go out and check on.
• 17:02
I think ours is 76. Uh oh, wrong one.
• 17:09
  Here we are. Yeah.
• 17:11
So we closed in the spot market on Friday at 7609 and we have
• 17:23
  $88 per oz. So there's still $12.00.
• 17:26
  I mean, that's what that's $89.00 per oz.
• 17:30
  That's 13. What's 13 / 76?
• 17:36
They're like 15% higher than us. That is crazy, unbelievable.
• 17:40
  OK, let's move on. Chinese.
• 17:43
OK, so in the next piece of data out of China that goes along
• 17:47
with what we just talked about, don't fear.
• 17:49
China's central bank added even more gold to its reserves in
• 17:53
April. Take a look at this.
• 17:56
OK, this is from the World Gold Council and its data through
• 18:00
April of 2026. And as you can see, they are
• 18:06
back at it again. And what is it like 18 months,
• 18:10
15 months in a row that the Chinese continue to buy gold?
• 18:15
And our friend Granny, now we're going to look at some fun stuff
• 18:18
about the gold and silver price. This is gold.
• 18:21
However, gold applies to silver. Grady says the red slingshot
• 18:27
parabolic move for gold is still in play as long as the red
• 18:32
parabolic curve is not broken to the downside.
• 18:35
So if that the red parabolic trend line is to hold, the way
• 18:39
is still up. Now gold is close back to the
• 18:43
red line. So he's been, he's had this
• 18:45
chart out for a long time. This is the parabolic move that
• 18:49
we've had in gold. And guys, the trend is still
• 18:52
still moving forward. I know, right?
• 18:55
All of us have kind of suffered through this section right here
• 19:00
for gold and for silver, but we need to recognize that we are
• 19:04
still in a strong upward trend when it comes to gold and
• 19:09
silver. Let's talk about the Comex next.
• 19:13
  Interesting developments at the Comex.
• 19:15
We got a couple things to talk about.
• 19:17
Before we do that, I do want to say thank you too.
• 19:21
See my finger first mining gold stock I bone long before they
• 19:27
sponsored the channel 1 of some of my first YouTube videos that
• 19:30
I ever made were about first mining gold.
• 19:33
They're a Canadian gold development stage company.
• 19:36
They've got 2 huge multi million ounce development stage projects
• 19:41
in Canada, both of which have millions of Oz of gold in the
• 19:45
ground. Spring pull in Ontario and
• 19:48
Duparquet in Quebec. And guys, there just aren't a
• 19:52
lot of huge multi million ounce gold development stage projects
• 19:57
  in good jurisdictions like Canada.
• 20:00
You can learn more about First Mining Gold at their website,
• 20:04
firstmininggold.com. Always do your own research.
• 20:09
Always be responsible. I'm not a financial advisor, but
• 20:14
I can share with you, like I said, in Full disclosure, it is
• 20:17
a stock that I own. OK, let's go over to the COMEX.
• 20:21
Oh, this is interesting, very interesting.
• 20:32
The silver wig says this yesterday.
• 20:36
Sharp drop in silver futures. Big mistake.
• 20:39
Shorts, right? We know they've been
• 20:47
manipulating the price of silver at the COMEX and the LBMA for a
• 20:50
long, long time. He says it incentivizes buyers
• 20:54
to stand for delivery on the COMEX, right.
• 20:58
There's already been a massive drain of physical metal out of
• 21:01
the COMEX, and some people speculate that it might be going
• 21:05
to China and India. OK, we'll leave that alone for
• 21:09
  now. OK.
• 21:11
Incentivizing buyers to stand for delivery at the COMEX,
• 21:13
locking in physical metal at the crushed paper price.
• 21:19
Yeah, that went from like 90 to 76 in like 48 hours while
• 21:23
premiums explode. The result, the vaults drain
• 21:29
fast registered silver plummets. Although I did see that register
• 21:34
was up a little bit the other day, but that's probably because
• 21:36
people are going to be pulling a bunch of silver out and they
• 21:39
don't have room in their inventory.
• 21:41
This is the part that I love every we're to the point now,
• 21:45
right where every smash backfires hard onto the Comex
• 21:51
and I would also say on to the LBMA as well now more right,
• 21:56
This is like conspiracy ish or now you know anyway, big news
• 22:02
out of COMEX in Chinese silver bars.
• 22:05
This is getting a lot of attention and super interesting
• 22:10
when we learned this, this was actually a memo from the CME
• 22:13
Group. Now remember the CME Group owns
• 22:17
the Comex. So when you hear the CME Group,
• 22:19
it's basically the same thing as a Comex.
• 22:21
David Morgan said Oh my, Oh my, fake silver in retail exists,
• 22:28
right? That's why you always want to
• 22:29
make sure you buy from a reputable good source, like
• 22:33
first met anyway. But fake at the commercial level
• 22:38
is perceived to be very rare. Is there fake silver at the
• 22:42
Comex? What do we know for certain?
• 22:45
Only time will tell. So that was in reference to this
• 22:50
widely circulated memo. Actually, it's not a memo.
• 22:54
This is a special executive report from the CME Group
• 22:59
Subject Suspension of approved Status for Warranting and
• 23:03
delivery of 2 silver brands under the COMEX silver futures
• 23:09
  contract. Effective immediately and until
• 23:13
further notice, the Comex has suspended approved status for
• 23:18
registration and delivery of the following brands of silver of
• 23:23
China origin that was produced on or after May 8th of 2026,
• 23:30
which currently include the silver brands identified in the
• 23:34
table below. That would be Yangi Nan Don Nan
• 23:38
Dong Fang Metal Company and Ming Chan Environmental Energy high
• 23:42
Tech Company. OK Silver produced prior to May
• 23:46
8th, we'll continue to be eligible for warranting and
• 23:49
delivery. So they are suspending certain
• 23:52
Chinese silver basically from being used on the COMEX.
• 23:56
Is that question, Remember what we talked about earlier with
• 24:01
since President Donald Trump, not a political statement, I'm
• 24:05
not a political channel, but the fact that since he's been in
• 24:08
China, the price of silver got demolished.
• 24:13
And then is it also a little interesting that the Comex then
• 24:18
comes out and says that about Silver that we're not going to
• 24:22
let him use those bars? I don't know.
• 24:23
I'm just speculating. I want to emphasize that, but I
• 24:27
find it very, very interesting. And you know what channel,
• 24:31
friend, and I've actually never met him or talked to him, but he
• 24:35
comes on the channel or his people do International Stacker
• 24:38
put this out yesterday And I think it drives home a real
• 24:41
simple important message for everyone in the precious metal
• 24:46
sucker. He said breaking silver down 9%.
• 24:51
I checked my stack and it's still there.
• 24:54
Stack silver do nothing not not financial advice stays stacked.
• 25:00
And man, look at that pile of silver.
• 25:03
I'm telling you what I'm like, is that on a like a concrete
• 25:05
table or something? And I thought if they, if that's
• 25:08
a boat, I'd be able to know which boat it is because the
• 25:11
boat would be leaning to one side.
• 25:13
But to me, the important reminder there is right,
• 25:17
Remember right here, here's a 5 oz 5 oz bar of silver.
• 25:22
Three days ago, it was a 5 oz bar of silver.
• 25:25
Today, guess what, it's still a 5 oz bar of silver.
• 25:30
The value in paper make believe fantasy island dollars may have
• 25:36
gone down the price, but the silver, it's still 5 ounces of
• 25:41
silver. And whether you're like me and
• 25:43
have 5 oz or you got 5 million, it doesn't matter, right?
• 25:49
In the long term outlook, we looked at the math earlier.
• 25:53
This interest rate BS, the the debt be the the long term
• 25:58
outlook even measured in U.S. dollars is still very, very
• 26:03
  good. Here's another big indicator
• 26:05
that things are still the physical, physical, this is
• 26:10
physical, physical silver. Things are still very good in
• 26:14
the physical silver world. This is important and it makes
• 26:18
total sense. And that's because, oh, hold on
• 26:21
  here. Here we are.
• 26:29
Karl Marx shares with us. Silver is down sharply today.
• 26:35
That would have been yesterday as we all remember.
• 26:37
Don't forget, guys, we are the basement dwellers.
• 26:39
This is the silver support group.
• 26:41
I hope you're feeling better already.
• 26:43
I am. I love it when you guys come
• 26:45
down here. It's fun hanging out with you.
• 26:47
But OK, even though silver was down sharply, but, and it's a
• 26:52
big butt and we like big butts, the lease rate is not falling
• 26:57
with it. Oh, well, what what is?
• 27:01
What does that tell us? Right?
• 27:02
Because what is leasing? Leasing means you pay somebody
• 27:06
  to use something physical, right?
• 27:09
He goes on to say if this were a real easing of the physical
• 27:13
market, lease rates should come down as well.
• 27:20
In the argument that he's making, and I agree with, and it
• 27:24
makes perfect sense, right, is that if the physical market were
• 27:29
pulling back, people wouldn't be paying such a big premium to
• 27:33
lease physical silver. The only reason why the lease
• 27:37
rates go up is because there's big demand, right?
• 27:41
And if lease rates on physical silver go up, that would mean
• 27:46
that the physical demand, the act, the demand for physical
• 27:50
silver is also going up. Sometimes you got to strip out
• 27:54
all the complicated tables and just use common sense.
• 27:57
And doesn't that make sense to me?
• 28:00
That makes perfect sense. We talked earlier.
• 28:04
It's not it's that time of the show where we talked about the
• 28:07
number one in this, this, this changes down here.
• 28:10
For those of you who are new to the basement, you know, two
• 28:14
years ago we were focused on stagflation right now.
• 28:17
And stagflation still exists, by the way, we are focused on
• 28:21
inflation. Remember earlier how Kitco and
• 28:24
all the mainstream, oh, gold and silver getting smashed because
• 28:28
inflation are because inflation's going up and rates
• 28:31
are going to have to rise. Well, inflation is going up much
• 28:34
faster. And we get this right.
• 28:37
The big, the big news story from our friends at CNBC, This is
• 28:43
interesting. Inflation rate is now projected
• 28:46
to hit 6% in the second quarter. Need I remind you we are exactly
• 28:52
halfway through the second quarter, which includes April,
• 28:56
May and June and we're about it. May 15th, they're saying that
• 29:00
we're going to hit 6% inflation rate.
• 29:03
But this is from top economic forecasters.
• 29:07
Just these three bullet points. Recent surge in inflation is
• 29:10
likely to get worse over the next several months and
• 29:15
contribute to much, much higher gold and silver prices,
• 29:18
according to a survey Friday from the nation's top economist.
• 29:26
The top economist, and that's CNBC saying this consumer price
• 29:30
inflation is projected to hit 6% for the first quarter according
• 29:36
  to the survey professional forecasters.
• 29:38
I think they mean second quarter compared to 2.7% in the prior
• 29:44
survey. The survey follows a slew of
• 29:48
inflation data showing the prices paid both at the consumer
• 29:52
and wholesale levels hit multi year highs in April.
• 30:03
Wow, wow, wow. OK guy, when we get when we get
• 30:08
  6%, Oh, that's, oh, that's official inflation.
• 30:15
There's this other thing called shadow stats, right, where they
• 30:19
actually measure inflation the way they did back in the 80s and
• 30:22
  90s, right? That's 6% is the official
• 30:26
inflation. I'm going to warn you, be
• 30:28
prepared right now. I told upstairs Susie this the
• 30:31
other day. So we might be in for some like
• 30:34
crazy times when it comes to food prices, fuel prices, just
• 30:39
basic living prices. Be prepared guys for inflation
• 30:43
numbers. I'm not saying the sky is
• 30:45
falling, we're going to have hyperinflation, but we could.
• 30:49
But it minimum, I'm very confident in knowing that when I
• 30:52
look at a year, 2 years from now, I could see gas prices, I
• 30:57
could see milk, all those prices up 20, thirty, 40%.
• 31:01
OK, it's going to happen. All right, guys, I'll be back
• 31:04
tomorrow. We're going to talk more
• 31:05
tomorrow about this bond Armageddon, isn't it?
• 31:10
I mean, are you suspicious as I mean, Trump goes to China,
• 31:15
silver price collapses, OK. And then on Friday, suddenly
• 31:22
like the most important market in the world, the bond market is
• 31:26
having Armageddon. I mean, all the all the
• 31:30
financial you, I mean, everybody's talking about this.
• 31:33
  It's a little weird. I'm sorry.
• 31:35
Oh, and by the way, there's really been no progress made in
• 31:40
a peace talks with the IRM. I mean, we are going, we, we got
• 31:43
to stay on top of this and we'll do it and we'll do it together.
• 31:46
Thanks for joining me. I am 100% confident.
• 31:49
I hope you are my fellow basement dwellers with where the
• 31:53
silver and gold price are heading, the real value of
• 31:59
silver and gold, right? We aren't looking at it on a day
• 32:01
by day basis, right? Although we love the green days
• 32:04
and we don't like big red days like we had this week.
• 32:08
But we are the silver support group.
• 32:10
Yeah, they can. They can throw all the drama at
• 32:14
us. They can throw all the trauma at
• 32:17
  us, right? Like Silver International
• 32:19
Stacker showed, right? The metal is still the metal.
• 32:24
It has been right. This 500 years ago was 5 ounces
• 32:30
of silver. This today is 5 ounces of
• 32:33
silver. This 500 years from now, it's
• 32:38
still going to be 5 ounces of silver.
• 32:40
  Gold, silver. I'm optimistic.
• 32:44
I hope you are too. Thanks for joining me down here
• 32:46
in the basement. Please subscribe to the channel,
• 32:48
give the video a thumbs up, take care of yourself, and I'll see
• 32:52
  you. Yes, you.
• 32:53
Yeah, you. I'll see you next time.
• 32:55
  Bye. Bye.
