- 0:37Speaker 2: so I'm.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Good right up the perfect Yes.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Yes, you know, it's taken me a few years to
- 0:44Speaker 4: get used to talking about for a half hour.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I love a microphone.
- 0:47Speaker 4: That's not my natural stink that I but I've grown
- 0:50Speaker 4: into it over time. And and you know, it's when
- 0:53Speaker 4: you have good stuff to talk about, it makes it
- 0:55Speaker 4: a lot easier.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Absolutely yes.
- 0:56Speaker 3: And what you.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Guys do is certainly, you know, one of those things
- 1:00Speaker 4: people don't always want to talk about and deal with,
- 1:03Speaker 4: but it's there in our society. And you guys give
- 1:07Speaker 4: people a safe place to go when they need help.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 2: So we have.
- 1:13Speaker 5: All sorts of services. We have case management, which is
- 1:15Speaker 5: just tailored to the individual. We have places for people
- 1:19Speaker 5: to go if they're unsafe. You know, we help with relocation,
- 1:23Speaker 5: We help with protective orders, We help with all sorts
- 1:27Speaker 5: of stuff in our domestic violence portion of our of
- 1:30Speaker 5: our program.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:31Speaker 4: And you have a big event or big event every
- 1:34Speaker 4: year yeah for sixteen years.
- 1:36Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, So we have one fundraiser a year
- 1:40Speaker 5: and it's Hops for Hope and it's our sweet sixteen
- 1:43Speaker 5: this year, and we're Yetti to party.
- 1:45Speaker 2: We're so excited. It'll be no member. Yeah it' there.
- 1:50Speaker 5: So actually we have Freddy or Yetti. He's actually downtown.
- 1:55Speaker 5: I think it's the intersection of Johnstone and Frank Phillips.
- 1:59Speaker 5: He's out there, so take a look at him. We
- 2:01Speaker 5: actually have one of those one of these posters with him.
- 2:05Speaker 5: You can scan the QR code for tickets over with
- 2:08Speaker 5: our boy Freddie.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Freddy will be at Hops.
- 2:11Speaker 5: So you will have a chance to take a picture photo.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:15Speaker 5: He was made by the great Michael Linbloom. I don't
- 2:17Speaker 5: know if you guys know, but she's also an artist.
- 2:19Speaker 2: He is excellent. Yeah, so we're super excited.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Yeah. Great.
- 2:24Speaker 4: He does a lot of great stuff around here, and
- 2:26Speaker 4: it's helped a lot of causes too.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Yeah, with their everything going on, creating art for causes
- 2:33Speaker 4: and getting and donating that to them and stuff. It's
- 2:36Speaker 4: it's a great deal in sixteen years for Hops for.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Hope and the organization.
- 2:43Speaker 4: You know, we talked a little bit about Ray of
- 2:45Speaker 4: Hope and what you guys do. It's Ray of Hope
- 2:47Speaker 4: Advocacy Center and it's a domestic violence services center.
- 2:52Speaker 3: So you help people that are in that point.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Of desperate need really I think, you know, and give
- 2:58Speaker 4: him a place to go and gets court so they
- 3:01Speaker 4: can find other resources.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Absolutely I understand.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Yeah, So we, like you said, we're a dual program.
- 3:07Speaker 5: We have the Child Advocacy Center and the Domestic violentce Center.
- 3:11Speaker 5: October also happens to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month. But yes,
- 3:15Speaker 5: all of our services are free. They're confidential. No one
- 3:18Speaker 5: know that we'll know that you came to us, you know.
- 3:21Speaker 5: We again, like I said, we do forensic interviews which
- 3:24Speaker 5: are referral based from law enforcement or DHS.
- 3:27Speaker 2: And then we do like I said, the protective orders.
- 3:29Speaker 5: We have case management, we have court advocacy, safety planning.
- 3:33Speaker 5: We do say in medical exams like forensic medical exams
- 3:36Speaker 5: as well. So we really try to be a one
- 3:38Speaker 5: stop shop because when you're in crisis, you don't want
- 3:41Speaker 5: to have to go from door to door events like
- 3:44Speaker 5: cops give us funding to continue to do the work
- 3:47Speaker 5: that we do.
- 3:48Speaker 2: And thank you because you're a sponsor. Yes, yes, thank
- 3:50Speaker 2: you so much.
- 3:51Speaker 3: So to go hanger out at the airport.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Out at the airport.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Yeah, so, lots of room for everybody. Yeah, yummy food,
- 4:00Speaker 3: great time, great food.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Yes.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I stopped drinking a while back, and so I'm I'm
- 4:06Speaker 4: interested in what it's going to be like without the beer,
- 4:09Speaker 4: but root beer and food.
- 4:11Speaker 3: So it's not if the beer is not your.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Thing, you know, you can still it's a great event
- 4:16Speaker 4: to come and enjoy a good night. Great usually great
- 4:19Speaker 4: weather that time of year kind of you're mild and temperate,
- 4:23Speaker 4: but you're inside.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah, you're inside.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Yeah, bad weather. Lots of parking out there.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Lots of parking. We have a silent auction. You know.
- 4:31Speaker 2: It's it's a great time.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Yeah, and it's it's again it goes towards a great cause.
- 4:36Speaker 5: We love our sponsors, so again, just thank you. If
- 4:39Speaker 5: you want a sponsor to reach out to us.
- 4:41Speaker 3: No opportunity.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Yes, the space you've got it's pretty much unlimited, even
- 4:46Speaker 4: though it's a big cross.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Truly, truly I mean people. Last year we had over
- 4:51Speaker 5: eight hundred people. Yeah, I'm gonna leave this sign here.
- 4:54Speaker 5: If somebody wants one, they can reach out to us
- 4:56Speaker 5: at Ray of Hope.
- 4:56Speaker 2: But yeah, we're excited. We're we're yetty to party. Yeah,
- 5:01Speaker 2: we're yetty.
- 5:02Speaker 4: And I know the home brewers really, this is one
- 5:05Speaker 4: of their chances to shine, yes, and to you know,
- 5:08Speaker 4: bring out their art so to speak, what they do
- 5:11Speaker 4: every day and you know, and a chance to show
- 5:14Speaker 4: off what they do.
- 5:15Speaker 5: Yeah, art and awareness, that's what I love to call it.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Art through awareness. Brewing is an art, it's a science.
- 5:20Speaker 5: It's exciting to go out there taste different things.
- 5:25Speaker 2: It's yeah, it's a great time.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a lot of fun.
- 5:28Speaker 4: And it's all the support Ray of Hope and it's
- 5:31Speaker 4: it is a fun, laid back thing. And lots of
- 5:34Speaker 4: food too, Lots of food. What's what's going on with
- 5:37Speaker 4: the food this year?
- 5:38Speaker 2: So we will have.
- 5:39Speaker 5: The eatery Katie catering this year. I'm not quite sure
- 5:44Speaker 5: the menu, but whatever they put out is that they're great.
- 5:46Speaker 2: So I'm excited.
- 5:48Speaker 5: If you don't, if you're not a person who consumes alcohol,
- 5:52Speaker 5: consume the food.
- 5:53Speaker 2: It is fancy.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Yes, you can take your calories in any which way
- 5:59Speaker 5: there you go.
- 6:00Speaker 3: You prefer that night, no doubt.
- 6:01Speaker 4: And just before we get too far into this, I
- 6:05Speaker 4: want to give a shout out to the Barswelle Sports Commission.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Last Friday Night's event was so great. Was it was
- 6:12Speaker 4: so nice to be able to meet the team from
- 6:15Speaker 4: the nineteen sixty nine Dungeons for Engines and as they
- 6:19Speaker 4: were enshrined in the Hall of Fame. And you know,
- 6:22Speaker 4: I was only about eight years old then, so if
- 6:25Speaker 4: I probably did go to some games that year with
- 6:28Speaker 4: my grandfather, but I don't remember the players, but getting
- 6:32Speaker 4: to meet them and talk to them about that year
- 6:35Speaker 4: and what they went through their great season and going
- 6:39Speaker 4: on to the state championship and on to the regionals
- 6:44Speaker 4: and then the College World or the American Legion World
- 6:47Speaker 4: Series rather and you know, just really you know, thinking
- 6:50Speaker 4: about all those teams and that you know, and what
- 6:55Speaker 4: it takes for a just one season to go off,
- 6:59Speaker 4: you know, with the volunteers at the stadium, the families
- 7:02Speaker 4: that have to get their kids to the game, and
- 7:05Speaker 4: then you know this this has been going on over
- 7:08Speaker 4: eighty five years here in Bartlesville. We've sponsored that team
- 7:12Speaker 4: for over eighty five years now and and we're really
- 7:16Speaker 4: proud of that and the you know that we're recognized
- 7:18Speaker 4: by Guinness as being the longest corporate sponsor of a
- 7:21Speaker 4: sports team in the world. For that, it's just is
- 7:24Speaker 4: crazy and and uh, you know, but to see that
- 7:28Speaker 4: and then the other people going in it were all
- 7:31Speaker 4: it was all inspirational and great stories and and thank
- 7:36Speaker 4: you to the Sports Commission for that great event and
- 7:39Speaker 4: the good times that we had.
- 7:41Speaker 3: It was it's I really was inspired. It was a
- 7:44Speaker 3: lot of fun. They put on a great show.
- 7:47Speaker 4: They really do it is It is a lot of fun.
- 7:50Speaker 4: So be looking for that next year. And other stuff
- 7:54Speaker 4: that's been going on to the dealership we just had.
- 7:57Speaker 4: We sent Kobe Brinkman down to to San Antonio. He
- 8:02Speaker 4: went to the Tundra plant for some Really it wasn't
- 8:06Speaker 4: just tunder training. It was really a lot of a
- 8:08Speaker 4: bit of bit of everything Toyota.
- 8:10Speaker 3: But getting to go into.
- 8:12Speaker 4: One of the Toyota's manufacturing facilities is such a cool thing.
- 8:16Speaker 4: They're so unique in how they manufacture vehicles. They're really
- 8:20Speaker 4: obsessed with the quality of their vehicles. They have a
- 8:24Speaker 4: quality a building that next to the manufacturing area that
- 8:28Speaker 4: he got to go into.
- 8:29Speaker 3: It's kind of rare to get to go.
- 8:31Speaker 4: In there, but they just randomly pull trucks off the line.
- 8:35Speaker 4: This is where they build Tundra and Tacoma. I believe
- 8:39Speaker 4: they randomly pull them off. They take them in there
- 8:41Speaker 4: and they do an exhaustive test on the vehicles and
- 8:46Speaker 4: we're talking you know, the door gaps, how the parts
- 8:50Speaker 4: all fit together.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Everything from you know, how people are going to use them.
- 8:55Speaker 4: They rough them up a little bit, but they just
- 8:58Speaker 4: want to make sure that they build the vehicles to
- 9:00Speaker 4: their expectation.
- 9:02Speaker 3: And he got introduced to that.
- 9:05Speaker 4: He got to hear about new stuff coming with Toyota.
- 9:08Speaker 4: I've talked about it before about the Corolla, and the
- 9:11Speaker 4: next one will be the first vehicle that has four
- 9:15Speaker 4: different power trains available on one vehicle, so from the
- 9:18Speaker 4: internal combustion engine to hybrid to plug in hydrid to
- 9:22Speaker 4: battery electric vehicle, all in one vehicle, just so they
- 9:28Speaker 4: can be manufactured in one plant. They told him that
- 9:32Speaker 4: that the vision is to have at least three power
- 9:34Speaker 4: trains available for every vehicle starting in twenty six, so
- 9:38Speaker 4: it'll take them a while to get it into every
- 9:41Speaker 4: line but you know, so this full spread of the
- 9:44Speaker 4: different power trains being able to choose what's right for
- 9:49Speaker 4: you and your situation.
- 9:51Speaker 3: You know that Toyota has just.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Been a leader in that, and again that's one of
- 9:55Speaker 4: the reasons why we're so proud to be associated with Toyota.
- 9:58Speaker 4: And shout out to our team at the dealership. They
- 10:02Speaker 4: finished the month of September so strong and we're off
- 10:05Speaker 4: and running into October.
- 10:07Speaker 3: We were the one of.
- 10:08Speaker 4: The leaders in the entire region in turn, which means
- 10:11Speaker 4: we're going to be earning more vehicles even though it
- 10:14Speaker 4: look like it on the lot. One of the ironies
- 10:17Speaker 4: of that is we basically need to sell out almost
- 10:19Speaker 4: every every month or every day, it seems like, and
- 10:22Speaker 4: we're constantly, you know, selling more cars but keeping fewer
- 10:26Speaker 4: on the lot, which is kind of it's interesting and
- 10:30Speaker 4: a little bit kind of a challenge in a way.
- 10:33Speaker 4: But our customers, I appreciate their understanding of that and
- 10:36Speaker 4: supporting us. It's so important that our local customers support
- 10:41Speaker 4: us as a small Oklahoma family owned business that's dedicated
- 10:46Speaker 4: to our community and organizations like Way of Hope, that
- 10:50Speaker 4: you recognize that that's that your support makes all that possible.
- 10:54Speaker 4: And I know you all that are listening get that.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Hear from you all the time about that's that's why
- 11:01Speaker 4: you support Dungeons. You know we are you know, we
- 11:03Speaker 4: only sell cars in Bartlesville. This is our lives. We
- 11:07Speaker 4: all live here. You know, I'm not You don't have
- 11:11Speaker 4: other dealerships to manage or worry about. We're just focused
- 11:14Speaker 4: on taking care of our customers and giving our customers
- 11:17Speaker 4: the very best experience every day that can we possibly can,
- 11:23Speaker 4: and really been leaning into, you know, the changes in
- 11:27Speaker 4: our business. There's a lot of stuff coming, not just
- 11:30Speaker 4: in the technology and the vehicles themselves, but how vehicles
- 11:34Speaker 4: are sold. You know, there's been a huge transition. When
- 11:39Speaker 4: my grandfather came to Bartlesville in nineteen forty one, there
- 11:42Speaker 4: were over forty seven thousand dealerships in America and today
- 11:47Speaker 4: there's less than eighteen thousand, and of those there's only
- 11:50Speaker 4: six thousand dealership owners. So the industry's just consolidated, you know, immensely.
- 11:58Speaker 4: And we see that in all kinds of industries from
- 12:00Speaker 4: you know, you see the big box stores and and
- 12:03Speaker 4: those are those are are great, but it's all about
- 12:06Speaker 4: customer service and saving people time and money, and if
- 12:11Speaker 4: if we can't stay up with ahead of the competition
- 12:14Speaker 4: in that, we know we'll get left behind. So we
- 12:18Speaker 4: talk about that every day at the dealership and and
- 12:21Speaker 4: it's one of those things that drives us to be
- 12:24Speaker 4: the best and to really provide the best service to
- 12:28Speaker 4: our customers. And you know it's working. I keep hearing
- 12:31Speaker 4: that from from our customers. I talked to somebody yesterday
- 12:35Speaker 4: who's relocating to Bartleszeol next year, and she has some
- 12:40Speaker 4: friends that moved here about ten years ago. She's coming
- 12:42Speaker 4: from New Hampshire to Bartlesville and she's so she's been
- 12:47Speaker 4: visiting for a while to see her friends, and she
- 12:49Speaker 4: she loves Tulsa and wants to live here in Bartlesville.
- 12:53Speaker 4: And you know, she's applied to a number of places.
- 12:55Speaker 4: She's worked in the car business pretty much since she
- 12:58Speaker 4: was a kid, and but her friends told her, no,
- 13:02Speaker 4: you have to go there because of that they have
- 13:06Speaker 4: the best buying experience and and you know, so that
- 13:10Speaker 4: that's great. When our customers are directing good people to us,
- 13:14Speaker 4: you know, it's a good place to work and a
- 13:16Speaker 4: place where people the employee and the customer alike are
- 13:21Speaker 4: going to be respected. And treated treated right to our
- 13:25Speaker 4: our sparks value system, which I know it's kind of
- 13:29Speaker 4: a no ray of hope as that, even though you
- 13:32Speaker 4: probably don't know what sparks is, it's a it's a
- 13:34Speaker 4: value thing we came up with the dealership. It's sincerity,
- 13:38Speaker 4: partnerships aligned, resilient kaisen makes us all superheroes.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Oh wow, So I mean I have spark It sounds like,
- 13:47Speaker 2: oh I do, yeah.
- 13:50Speaker 3: And it's uh, it really works for us.
- 13:54Speaker 4: It's it's something we we put you know, really every
- 13:57Speaker 4: decision we make, we kind of run it through. There
- 14:00Speaker 4: is that true to this? And what's so neat to
- 14:03Speaker 4: me is it came from the employees. Yeah, it wasn't
- 14:06Speaker 4: something I came up with or the management team.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Did you know? It kind of organically came out.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Of our culture and so they came up with those words.
- 14:15Speaker 4: And yea as a because there's this old picture of
- 14:21Speaker 4: my grandfather on a basketball team in nineteen twenty four
- 14:25Speaker 4: when he had a Ford dealership in Tonkawah.
- 14:29Speaker 3: His parents his father had died.
- 14:31Speaker 4: And they moved there and family needed to get jobs
- 14:34Speaker 4: and they all started working at the Ford dealership. And
- 14:37Speaker 4: that's how we got in the car business, and so
- 14:39Speaker 4: it was a spark. You know, I called it the
- 14:42Speaker 4: spark picture. But you know, I'm sure there was a
- 14:47Speaker 4: spark in the beginning of Ray of Hope.
- 14:49Speaker 3: That's what I wanted to ask.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Yeah, so, yeah, it started in two thousand and four,
- 14:55Speaker 5: the idea was born. We solidified with run in two
- 14:58Speaker 5: thousand and five, but the spark was realizing that there's
- 15:02Speaker 5: children and families in our very community impacted by abuse
- 15:05Speaker 5: and we need to come together and help them towards
- 15:08Speaker 5: that journey of healing.
- 15:10Speaker 2: It started off with some hope.
- 15:11Speaker 5: And you know that that was you mentioned nd Yeah,
- 15:14Speaker 5: executive director.
- 15:15Speaker 4: For most of those that all of those, all of
- 15:19Speaker 4: those years.
- 15:19Speaker 5: Yeah. We turned twenty this year and she's been there
- 15:21Speaker 5: all twenty so amazing.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and can you believe it because.
- 15:24Speaker 5: She's only like twenty five.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Yeah, that's an awesome story. And and you know, it's
- 15:36Speaker 4: another great example of how Barblesville has these kind of
- 15:39Speaker 4: interconnecting services and nonprofits. They'll all work together and fill
- 15:44Speaker 4: that gap wherever it is, and when there is one,
- 15:47Speaker 4: it seems like one just kind of comes up and
- 15:50Speaker 4: fills the need.
- 15:51Speaker 3: And and you are a united way.
- 15:53Speaker 5: To say yeah, yeah, yeah, we're with the United Way,
- 15:57Speaker 5: where a partner agency, and we're really excited or really
- 16:01Speaker 5: thankful to be a partner agency. But yeah, they do
- 16:04Speaker 5: great for the community and in turn it lets us
- 16:06Speaker 5: do what we need to do to help families and individuals.
- 16:10Speaker 4: And are there opportunities for volunteers and stuff either around
- 16:14Speaker 4: the event or in your ongoing operations?
- 16:16Speaker 3: How can people help?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 16:18Speaker 5: So, if you want to volunteer, you can sign up
- 16:19Speaker 5: through our events portion of the website as well. Come
- 16:23Speaker 5: and volunteer, volunteer for a couple of hours and then
- 16:26Speaker 5: take your break and enjoy the you know, enjoy the
- 16:28Speaker 5: event with us a ray of hope. You can always
- 16:32Speaker 5: call ask to speak to me directly, yo, SI, and
- 16:34Speaker 5: then I can put you in our volunteer database and
- 16:36Speaker 5: reach out anytime we have an opportunity.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Just like that. Makings easy peasy.
- 16:43Speaker 4: So, I mean you mentioned a lot of the services
- 16:46Speaker 4: you provide really quickly can give it? Can you give
- 16:49Speaker 4: us some examples maybe of not specific individuals, of course,
- 16:54Speaker 4: but just of how that works and how somebody how
- 16:58Speaker 4: you really impact people's lives. I think that because hopefully
- 17:02Speaker 4: most people don't don't run into this every day, right,
- 17:05Speaker 4: or even maybe ever in their lives, but they might
- 17:07Speaker 4: probably know someone and or somebody may need help. Okay,
- 17:11Speaker 4: So how does it work? I mean, how do you
- 17:14Speaker 4: get the referrals? And we mentioned law enforcement sometimes.
- 17:17Speaker 5: Right, so I mean it kind of works two ways
- 17:20Speaker 5: because we do have we are a dual programs. So
- 17:23Speaker 5: downstairs with our forensic interviews, they start with a disclosure
- 17:28Speaker 5: either by a child or an adult, because everyone in
- 17:32Speaker 5: Oklahoma is a mandated reporter of teldbuse from heal treatment
- 17:36Speaker 5: that goes through law enforcement or DHS. That referral comes
- 17:39Speaker 5: in through comes into us, and then we schedule an
- 17:41Speaker 5: interview with Kara upstairs. Because it is domestic violence and
- 17:46Speaker 5: we deal with adults mostly, we're interacting with either the
- 17:50Speaker 5: adult or the parent in the situation. They have to
- 17:53Speaker 5: come of their own volition.
- 17:55Speaker 2: You know.
- 17:56Speaker 5: We believe in being like client centered and trauma and
- 18:00Speaker 5: so when you're ready, we're ready to jump in and
- 18:03Speaker 5: help you.
- 18:03Speaker 2: So give us a call.
- 18:05Speaker 5: You can call us at our twenty four hour crisis
- 18:07Speaker 5: line which is nine one eight two one four eight
- 18:09Speaker 5: eight eight six. You can also chat into our website
- 18:13Speaker 5: Ray of hopeac dot org. You know, you can just
- 18:16Speaker 5: reach us. We can talk through even if you're not
- 18:19Speaker 5: ready to make take that step today, we can still
- 18:22Speaker 5: talk through what that would look like, how we could help.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Uh.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Like I said, our case management is just tailored to
- 18:28Speaker 5: the individual because flexible. Yes, it's very flexible. You know,
- 18:32Speaker 5: the scenario isn't the same for everybody. And not only that,
- 18:36Speaker 5: but we don't, you know, either handle ways or do
- 18:39Speaker 5: things all the same way. So it's really just catered
- 18:42Speaker 5: to you. If we need to have that conversation fifty
- 18:44Speaker 5: times before you decide it's time to take the step,
- 18:47Speaker 5: we will be there with you all fifty of those times.
- 18:50Speaker 2: So really, just whenever you're ready, we're here for you.
- 18:53Speaker 4: And you mentioned your website, Go ahead, what is the
- 18:57Speaker 4: r L? Where do they go? How do they find
- 18:59Speaker 4: you easiest?
- 18:59Speaker 2: And yeah, Ray of Hope ac dot org.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Okay, that easy?
- 19:03Speaker 4: And another I was thinking there as you described that,
- 19:06Speaker 4: are there are there other Is this unique to Bartlesville?
- 19:09Speaker 4: Are there other organizations around and other communities that do
- 19:12Speaker 4: this kind of work?
- 19:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:14Speaker 5: So Tulsa has Divish Yeah it Tulsa has divis. Uh,
- 19:18Speaker 5: there's a safe net and clear Moore. So you know,
- 19:21Speaker 5: unfortunately Oklahoma doesn't come in pretty close to the top
- 19:25Speaker 5: in terms of domestic violence, So we do have them statewide.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Yeah, and we rely on each other for resources and
- 19:32Speaker 2: you know.
- 19:33Speaker 5: Referral on another sware a network and we work together.
- 19:37Speaker 4: So yeah and so and do you have a service
- 19:40Speaker 4: area that's your primary yeah, Ray, or do you work
- 19:44Speaker 4: with people wherever they come from just they just come from.
- 19:47Speaker 5: So we we have a specific service area. It's Washington,
- 19:50Speaker 5: O sh and no Wada County. However, we have a
- 19:53Speaker 5: no wrong door policy, so if someone were to call
- 19:55Speaker 5: in or knock on the door and say, hey, I
- 19:58Speaker 5: need help, even if if it's not us, We're going
- 20:01Speaker 5: to find you the resource. But those three counties are
- 20:03Speaker 5: our main focus.
- 20:05Speaker 4: What what are the primary resources that you that you provide,
- 20:09Speaker 4: I mean, just can you talk about that?
- 20:11Speaker 5: Yeah, So we do like I said, we do protective orders,
- 20:15Speaker 5: so we have those. We do a lot of those,
- 20:17Speaker 5: almost one every day. And then we with our case management.
- 20:20Speaker 5: Like I said, it's really just flexible or catered to
- 20:22Speaker 5: the individual. It can be anywhere from deciding that hey
- 20:26Speaker 5: I have family in Portland. I think you mentioned earlier.
- 20:29Speaker 5: I think a fresh start is what to do there
- 20:32Speaker 5: we'll help you get to Portland.
- 20:34Speaker 2: So again, relocation.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Within the community, living.
- 20:39Speaker 5: Within the community, moving with out of the community, rebuilding
- 20:43Speaker 5: in the community.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Like we.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Yes, clothing, food, clothing.
- 20:49Speaker 5: We don't have lots of clothing in house, however, we
- 20:54Speaker 5: will get you access to clothing, no problem. If you
- 20:56Speaker 5: need it, we are going to get it from We
- 21:00Speaker 5: will find a way.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Yeah. So, what a great story. And I know, let's
- 21:05Speaker 4: go back to the event. Uh it's Saturday, November first, Yes,
- 21:10Speaker 4: at six thirty pm out of one of the hangers
- 21:13Speaker 4: at the airport. I know you have some great sponsors.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Let's go ahead and promote them.
- 21:18Speaker 5: Yeah, so we have Delaware Trime, Family and Children's Services, Phillip,
- 21:23Speaker 5: sixty six prospective Advisors, got Medical Clinic, Conico Phillips, the
- 21:29Speaker 5: cup Family Foundation, Truity Credit Union, and Midwest Sarcasm. Those
- 21:34Speaker 5: are are presenting sponsors as well as the Dungeon's family.
- 21:37Speaker 5: They are sponsoring us as well. So we're really excited.
- 21:40Speaker 5: We're really thankful for everyone who has asked the sponsors.
- 21:45Speaker 4: So yeah, well, I know I love to help promote
- 21:47Speaker 4: the sponsors because just everybody seems to be the same
- 21:51Speaker 4: sometimes the same list. Ever, we got to give credit
- 21:55Speaker 4: to where the creditors do in our community. These great
- 21:58Speaker 4: organizations that make all this possible and are the ones
- 22:01Speaker 4: that are so generous in our community and look at
- 22:03Speaker 4: all possible.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I mean, that's it's so so great to be in
- 22:07Speaker 3: a community of.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Our size that has all those resources and great organizations
- 22:12Speaker 4: like Ray of Hope and and it does as I mentioned.
- 22:15Speaker 3: So you know, almost on every show.
- 22:16Speaker 4: We talk about that great network of you know, whatever
- 22:20Speaker 4: you need in our community, it's pretty much available to you.
- 22:24Speaker 4: And you guys are a great example of that.
- 22:28Speaker 3: So in this event again it's it's a home.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Brewing competition, so it actually there's a winner I can't
- 22:34Speaker 4: I guess any and some different classes of the beer.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and have you got all the entries for the
- 22:41Speaker 3: beer competition?

- 22:45Speaker 3: Many home brewers are there going to be?
- 22:47Speaker 5: I'm not quite sure I'm going to look bad on
- 22:49Speaker 5: this one. I'm not quite sure.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I'm always coming up with there will be plenty.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Plenty of brews, and uh, all kinds of beer too.
- 22:59Speaker 4: I mean, you really get there's a.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Cherry lime made one that's like I don't know that
- 23:03Speaker 5: I should say this, but it's like my favorite. Yeah,
- 23:07Speaker 5: but no, there's lots of great great there's great variety,
- 23:11Speaker 5: there's it's great.
- 23:12Speaker 3: And there's it's little SIPs.
- 23:14Speaker 5: Yeah, it's little SIPs. We're not like a forty out sign.
- 23:18Speaker 5: It's like a little taster.

- 23:29Speaker 5: great hats.

- 23:33Speaker 4: And that's our land may be flat, but our our
- 23:37Speaker 4: beer is not.
- 23:38Speaker 2: It's not that one.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Yeah.

- 24:19Speaker 4: But you can come judge your everybody gets to judge.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 5: You get little like tokens and you place them where
- 24:26Speaker 5: you were at, where you see yes.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Through and it is a real casual event, so laid
- 24:34Speaker 4: back nobody, you know. And it's not a stuffy thing, no,
- 24:37Speaker 4: very relaxed and comfortable kind of come as you are.
- 24:41Speaker 5: As you are, yeah, when you're ready, absolutely, Yeah, we're excited.
- 24:45Speaker 3: It should be a lot of fun.
- 24:47Speaker 4: And again it's just coming up in a few weeks
- 24:49Speaker 4: here on Saturday, November first at six thirty.
- 24:52Speaker 3: And anyway, thanks for coming to the show.
- 24:54Speaker 4: We've got we're really proud to be sponsors again this year.
- 24:59Speaker 4: And tell Ron to hot hello. You know that finish
- 25:04Speaker 4: up with a little more dealership stuff. We've got our
- 25:07Speaker 4: next sales space, which is how is the kind of
- 25:10Speaker 4: a how we earn inventory. Twice a month we get
- 25:12Speaker 4: new allocation of vehicles. And while we just have a
- 25:15Speaker 4: handful on the lot right now, we have a pretty
- 25:17Speaker 4: good selection of vehicles actually in one of each, but
- 25:22Speaker 4: a Tundra, a Tacoma, a Prius Prime, which is the
- 25:27Speaker 4: plug in hybrid Prius, which is very good.
- 25:30Speaker 5: I'm trying to convince my husband to give me a Prius, Chris,
- 25:32Speaker 5: if you're listening, I want to.
- 25:33Speaker 3: We really sold a lot of Priuses last month. It
- 25:37Speaker 3: was fun. What else We've got a Crown Insignia in
- 25:43Speaker 3: just yesterday. Nice.
- 25:45Speaker 4: And then there's a couple others of g R Corolla,
- 25:49Speaker 4: which is a gazoo racing Corolla, very very hot.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Little uh little Corolla. It's hard to imagine that. I
- 25:58Speaker 3: have to look now.
- 25:59Speaker 4: This is a version of the Corolla GR Corolla one
- 26:04Speaker 4: Urboring twenty four hours this year, which is a big
- 26:08Speaker 4: race in Europe around the Neurboring track. It's twenty four
- 26:11Speaker 4: hours of driving around the track in the Corolla one
- 26:15Speaker 4: against a lot of more jie more snow day Switched
- 26:19Speaker 4: driver Switch Drivers.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Is one of the drivers.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Chairman of Toyota is the primary driver of the cars.
- 26:30Speaker 3: It's very very neat to have him doing that. And
- 26:33Speaker 3: you know, we were up against the Ferraris and Maserati's
- 26:37Speaker 3: and you know, the fastest cars.
- 26:39Speaker 4: In the world and Corolla oney, and you'll got just
- 26:46Speaker 4: those handful on the ground, but I think forty two
- 26:49Speaker 4: in allocation now.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Many of them will be here before the end of
- 26:52Speaker 3: the month.
- 26:52Speaker 4: But we right now, we really need to focus on
- 26:55Speaker 4: selling them what we can by Monday nights. That's an
- 26:58Speaker 4: ex sales base where we're on our next location. So
- 27:01Speaker 4: that's why we're so anxious to sell them out again
- 27:05Speaker 4: by not right. So if you're looking for a great
- 27:07Speaker 4: deal and looking at a Toyota in particular, come talk
- 27:10Speaker 4: to us.
- 27:11Speaker 3: As I always say, you know.
- 27:12Speaker 4: If we don't have what you want, you know, nobody
- 27:15Speaker 4: really does in the Toyota world right now. There's even
- 27:18Speaker 4: the large dealers will tell you how that. It's they
- 27:21Speaker 4: turn so fast. And you know, if they sell three
- 27:23Speaker 4: hundred a month and they're down to you know whatever,
- 27:27Speaker 4: it is, twenty percent of what they they sell a month.
- 27:30Speaker 3: They have a few more than us.
- 27:31Speaker 4: But that's kind of where we all are, and it's
- 27:33Speaker 4: it's turning really fast, as fast as they really are.
- 27:38Speaker 4: And yeah, proud of Toyota for building such great vehicles
- 27:42Speaker 4: that are in high demand and really great vehicles to drive.
- 27:46Speaker 4: So come see us about that, or check us out
- 27:48Speaker 4: at Dungeustoyota dot com, or come see me at the dealership.
- 27:53Speaker 4: I'll be out there back there in a few minutes.
- 27:55Speaker 1: And where's the deal the ship, young man.
- 27:57Speaker 4: We're at nineteen eleven Southeast Washington Boulevard on the as
