A hedgehog named Honey was horrifically painted blue and yellow in a Leeds garden, her spines coated in thick, oil-based paint that prevented her from curling up and caused fatal breathing issues. Despite heroic efforts by rescuers at Prickly Pigs Hedgehog Rescue, Honey died. Her owner, Diane Cook, condemned the deliberate cruelty, calling it senseless and unacceptable.
