  Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin.

  I'm Angel Santana, and this week we've been taking extra time each morning as

  we prepare our hearts for Sunday.

  We talked about making room for Jesus.

  We talked about trusting God when he moves differently. Yesterday,
• 1:33
  we talked about praising God before the breakthrough.
• 1:37
  Today, I want to talk about something that can really test our faith.
• 1:41
  What happens when the crowd changes?
• 1:43
  Palm Sunday is one of those most powerful moments in the Bible.
• 1:47
  Jesus enters Jerusalem and the people are cheering. They're shouting, Hosanna!
• 1:53
  They're waving palm branches. They're celebrating him like a king.
• 1:58
  It looks like everyone believes. It looks like everyone is on his side.
• 2:03
  It looks like everything is going to be the right way.
• 2:08
  Only a few days later, some of the same voices that shouted Hosanna were shouting, crucify him.
• 2:15
  That's hard to think about. The same crowd that praised him turned against him.
• 2:20
  And if we're being honest, life can feel like that sometimes too.
• 2:25
  People support you one day and doubt you the next.
• 2:28
  People encourage you and then disappear. People say they believe in you and
• 2:34
  until things get difficult.
• 2:37
  And when that happens, it can shake you.
• 2:40
  You start wondering, did I do something wrong? Why did things change?
• 2:45
  Why do people act different? Why do they act different now?
• 2:49
  But Palm Sunday reminds us of something important. Faith cannot depend on the crowd.

  If Jesus depended on the crowd, he never would have made it to the cross.

  If he depended on approval, He would have stopped when people turned on him
• 3:05
  But he stayed faithful Even when the voices changed,
• 3:10
  And we have to learn to do the same Because the truth is The crowd will change
• 3:16
  Opinions change Feelings change,
• 3:21
  Situations change People change.
• 3:25
  God does not change. Romans 8, verse 31.
• 3:30
  If God is for us, who can be against us?
• 3:34
  That doesn't mean life will always be easy. It means your faith cannot be based on what people say.

  It has to be based on who God is.
• 3:44
  Sometimes following God means walking when others stop.
• 3:48
  Sometimes it means believing when others doubt.
• 3:51
  Sometimes it means staying faithful, even when nobody else understands.
• 3:56
  Jesus kept walking toward Jerusalem even though he knew the crowd would change.

  He stayed faithful because his mission was bigger than their opinion.

  And maybe that's the reminder we need today.

  Don't let the crowd decide your faith. Don't let someone else's attitude change
• 4:14
  your relationship with God.
• 4:16
  Don't let disappointment make you quit.
• 4:19
  Stay steady. Stay faithful.

  Stay focused on the one who never changes. As we get closer to Palm Sunday, remember this.

  The crowd may shout one day and be silent the next, but God is still with you

  every step of the way. Let's pray.

  Lord, help us stay faithful even when people change.

  Help us trust you when we feel alone, when we feel discouraged,

  and when things don't go the way we hoped.

  Give us strength to keep walking with you.

  Even when the crowd is quiet.

  Remind us that you never leave us and you never change. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
