- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: And today, we are going to be talking about a quality.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: And this particular subject, if you've been following my writing, has been a little controversial sometimes.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to address a quality because there are certain aspects of humans that should always be equal.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then there are other aspects of humans that should not be.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: Now, what I mean by that has nothing to do with race, gender, sexual preference.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: Those things should be blind to everybody.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: It shouldn't matter what color scheme you have.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: It shouldn't matter what religion you are.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: It shouldn't matter what sex you think you are, what you are, what you want to be.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: However, you wanted to find that for yourself, whatever level you're at in that transition period, they shouldn't matter.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: Who your partner is in life shouldn't matter to anybody?
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I understand that it conflicts with certain people's sensibilities, but it has nothing to do with their quality, it has to deal with what their feelings are, what their faiths are, which are not of our business.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: inclusion, it should contribute to equity, the value of our society because of how diversity is because of all of these differences that we have is amazing when we get along.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's degraded when we don't equality means nothing if we're fighting about it.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_01]: and goal.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: The common goal isn't right or wrong.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: The common goal is something else.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes I wonder what that just might be.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: How are we as a society still fighting over the color of skin?
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: Why are there people out there who still feel that the color of somebody's skin defines them negatively or possibly
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: talking about better or worse feelings superior or inferior because of these things.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: The same with religion or gender, but different doesn't make.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: A mind is a mind, a heart is a heart, but we believe in the passion behind it, has very little to do with these things.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: Other than that, it inspires us and gives us fuel.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: But when you cut through all of that, our minds are still built basically the same way.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: How we educate ourselves, how we put effort in, how we get results, how we approach equality, how we approach diversity, how we approach inclusive should be a sum of equality.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: People who put more effort in should be rewarded.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: People who don't should not.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, there are people that we might have to help them.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, there are people in our society that need a hand.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm not talking about that.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: But those people need to help themselves too.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: Those people need to put some effort into it.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: They want to be included.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: They need to become inclusive in our society.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: want to sit back and not engage in our society, not contribute to what it is to be an American or an Illinois or a California or a human.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: If they don't want to contribute to that, what do they think they are due just for being born?
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: If they were set up improperly, if they weren't given
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: because of their parents because of their circumstances.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: There are people all over the world who weren't given equal opportunities who have become amazing humans, amazing leaders.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: There is a path to success.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: There is a path to positive influence for every single human alive.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what that path is, because I don't know contextuality,
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: we can define equality for ourselves and it can't be about race, gender, sexual preference.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: It can't be about religion, it has to be about participation, it has to be about effort, it has to be about how we engage with our fellow humans, it has to be about how we hold people accountable for supporting us, our governments,
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: the people are setting rules that aren't equal.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: And then we continue to go through this cycle of putting them back in charge.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: There's these processes available to us especially here in the United States to create a better environment for us.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not talking about socialism or communism and everybody gets to say that doesn't work.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about effort and engagement, accountability.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: inclusion, diversity and equity.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: When you add it all together, the equality will come out.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I challenge you in your areas of influence, take a step back and think about the effort you put in.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: If people feel unequal, help them rise up, share with them when it will take to get them equal, share with them the inclusion, the engagement they need to rise up.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: And if they don't agree with that and they want it for
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: learn or understand that that's not a quality.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to work ever.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: In our world, it takes participation.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: In our world, it takes effort.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: Understand that to be human and to be included and to be diverse and to have equity, it's going to take effort.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: The equality will come.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: I hope you have a great day.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for joining us here at the Daily Enfloss.
