- 0:42Speaker 2: Oh my god, Aaron is our standing. All my guests
- 0:45Speaker 2: are my favorite. It's like children. I don't have any lying.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 0:51Speaker 5: I just.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Look. I'm not trying to upset book Daddy, but Eddie
- 0:55Speaker 2: is book Daddy very close to my heart.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Our friend Aaron wrote two books, so he's.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Wow. Smart person. You like to read, and you like
- 1:05Speaker 3: I like to read comic books.
- 1:08Speaker 1: You see, you'd be good to take to a Marvel
- 1:10Speaker 1: movie because I could lean over and go who is that?
- 1:12Speaker 3: What?
- 1:13Speaker 1: How are they connected? And you'd be like, well, there's
- 1:16Speaker 1: a whole story.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Or it'll be like a ten minutes you're ruining the movie.
- 1:19Speaker 5: For yes, that's like watching a movie with my mom.
- 1:22Speaker 5: Stop asking me questions.
- 1:25Speaker 1: We gotta pause it and you gotta tell me what's
- 1:28Speaker 1: in Adam Warlock.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Oh my god, let me see Golden Girls season two.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Eddie had so much fun. He asked if he could
- 1:39Speaker 1: come back.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I did.
- 1:40Speaker 5: I begged he did, took pity on him and let
- 1:43Speaker 5: him come.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I'll give you my Cobra commander home is or does
- 1:49Speaker 1: your Cobra commander? Has he gone slightly like into gay lisp?
- 1:54Speaker 1: Like you've exaggerated.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Him a little bit? That's the heightened I heightened him
- 1:59Speaker 3: in two.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yes, I love how the outfit never got upgraded.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's just a.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Hoodie, which is a blue hoodie.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Where did you find the mask like target?
- 2:10Speaker 3: I made that. It was a baseball batting. It's a
- 2:14Speaker 3: batter's helmet, and I cut off the visor of the
- 2:18Speaker 3: batter's helmet right, and then I took one of those
- 2:22Speaker 3: dog cones and the plastic dog cones you get at
- 2:25Speaker 3: the vet, and then I cut off the back and
- 2:26Speaker 3: that's what makes it come down and around right. And
- 2:30Speaker 3: then it's a motorcycle visor that I stuck on.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Can you see through that at all? When you were
- 2:36Speaker 1: yeah you can?
- 2:37Speaker 5: Oh, okay, that's impressive. Your costume making skills are.
- 2:41Speaker 2: I say, didn't you make like a Mando for.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Vader helmet?
- 2:50Speaker 3: The helmet is the Invader? Last year? The helmet is bought.
- 2:54Speaker 3: But then I had I three D printed the chest
- 2:57Speaker 3: plates and all that other stuff. You have a three
- 2:59Speaker 3: D printer, O, my buddy clay one.
- 3:03Speaker 5: It takes a village.
- 3:04Speaker 3: It does take a village.
- 3:06Speaker 5: Did you just teach yourself?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Were you always get in shop class?
- 3:09Speaker 5: How did this?
- 3:10Speaker 1: I just go to school for this?
- 3:12Speaker 5: No?
- 3:12Speaker 1: I know you did movie making?
- 3:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I just mess around and figure things out.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Wow, Hey, we should start a podcast.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Just kidding how to make things.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You know you were going to make a death trap
- 3:26Speaker 1: for your dog that your wife one didn't approve of something.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Something for the balcony. I can't remember.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I had some wood panel or wood things that was
- 3:34Speaker 3: going to put to make like a lip on they
- 3:37Speaker 3: so he couldn't jump, you know, because Jack Russells can climb, right,
- 3:42Speaker 3: But we ended up just getting two extra flower pots.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Oh, he doesn't jump and knock him down.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Or there with the flower pot. It's just it's a
- 3:51Speaker 3: little too high and low enough for him to get over,
- 3:55Speaker 3: but the flower pots make it too high.
- 3:57Speaker 2: For him to get up, and he can't push them off.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Now they're too heavy because they're full of dirt, so
- 4:05Speaker 3: they're too They're like they're just full of energy, aren't
- 4:08Speaker 3: they Jack Russells. Yeah, they're insane, Like go to sleep?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Do you have to?
- 4:13Speaker 3: Like dave him? He's no, he's a different Jacktor. He's
- 4:15Speaker 3: weird because he's he loves the sleep.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Oh I'm good.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Maybe he's related to Abby.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Maybe and he's only four or five.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Yeah, Like he wants to like he'll sit there and
- 4:27Speaker 3: stare at you at night, like like I want to
- 4:30Speaker 3: go to bed.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Oh I thought you meant like while you're sleeping, I
- 4:34Speaker 1: have to watch you sleep edwin.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Wat sleep on your face?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Abby tells me when it's bedtime. I don't listen to her,
- 4:40Speaker 2: and then I get in trouble and she'll like bark.
- 4:43Speaker 1: So he's like, why are you still up?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Dad?
- 4:45Speaker 3: What's going brow? Like if he gets in the bed
- 4:47Speaker 3: and you like try to move here, like.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Like, well, you weigh five pounds, so you're moving.
- 4:53Speaker 5: My cat does that. I'll get up and he thinks
- 4:55Speaker 5: you're going to bed and he and he runs into
- 4:57Speaker 5: the bed shirt.
- 5:00Speaker 2: To bed.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yet does he sleep on the bed with you?
- 5:05Speaker 5: Oh yeah, when Jeremy's not home, he'll sleep up next
- 5:09Speaker 5: to me so that I can rub his belly. Because
- 5:11Speaker 5: he's not a normal cat and he just loves to
- 5:13Speaker 5: have his belly rubbed.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the catty that makes this noise. I shit,
- 5:20Speaker 2: you not louder.
- 5:26Speaker 5: That's how he gets his lay, the bully.
- 5:30Speaker 1: He's smart enough. He learned acoustics, so go into the
- 5:32Speaker 1: bathroom and make it pawn yelling.
- 5:35Speaker 5: He goes into the bathroom, so echoes and it's louder.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Wow.
- 5:39Speaker 5: Smart cat right, he's very smart.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Our producer whoa our producer made it a girl?
- 5:49Speaker 1: Hey, trash dog.
- 5:52Speaker 2: He likes chair with me because it's one of those
- 5:55Speaker 2: like deceptively like large chairs.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Chair.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I would maybe make it kid take a picture in
- 6:01Speaker 2: because they're like so small that around ack.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah, anyway, Eddie, did you go to Myrtle Beach this year?
- 6:09Speaker 3: We went in April because we couldn't go in the
- 6:11Speaker 3: summer because we went on that cruise with.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Would you love the cruise?
- 6:17Speaker 5: You're not a cruise guy, strike me as a cruiser
- 6:19Speaker 5: I love You're in Colton's Dumb and Dummer.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Oh that was magic.
- 6:26Speaker 3: He enjoyed that. That was fun. That was a highlight
- 6:29Speaker 3: of your first cruise.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and you were like, no, never again.
- 6:33Speaker 3: First and last, Right, the expeditions are great. Getting off
- 6:36Speaker 3: the boat walking around Alaska seeing stuff is great.
- 6:39Speaker 1: What do you or what don't you like?
- 6:42Speaker 3: I don't like it. It feels like a floating rv M.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Like the room is tiny, the bathroom is tiny. It's
- 6:51Speaker 3: there's nothing to do on the boat unless you love
- 6:52Speaker 3: drinking alcohol and playing trivia, and I hate both of
- 6:56Speaker 3: those things.
- 6:56Speaker 1: They have like casinos, right, you like casinos?
- 6:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't. I don't have the money to lose.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I don't have that was rich, Yeah, but I don't.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Do you like go on the pool? Was it too chilly?
- 7:06Speaker 3: It was Alaska, so the pool is kind of out.
- 7:08Speaker 1: But yeah, I guess it's like I.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Don't need to be on that for seven days. It's
- 7:12Speaker 3: just too much. I've rather drive somewhere, have a hotel,
- 7:16Speaker 3: and then go explore the area and then come back
- 7:18Speaker 3: to the nice, big hotel room.
- 7:20Speaker 1: You can't just turn your brain off and sit there
- 7:22Speaker 1: or like take out a notebook and write jokes or
- 7:24Speaker 1: something like.
- 7:25Speaker 3: It can, but for seven days, it's just like must
- 7:28Speaker 3: it's a long time.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Have you been on a I've been one cruise. It
- 7:32Speaker 1: was three days.
- 7:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I could do.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I could probably do a three day one if I
- 7:35Speaker 3: had to, But it's just it's just so long.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Do you like the food.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It's a lot of about face style. I know you're picky.
- 7:42Speaker 3: The food is okay, but like everyone's like food, amaze it.
- 7:46Speaker 1: It's okay when you're cooking for a massive people, it suffering.
- 7:50Speaker 3: If you love cruises, take as many as you want.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I don't care. But I don't like them, so I
- 7:55Speaker 3: don't ever.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I've been on too ever in my life. First one
- 8:01Speaker 2: was the Big Red Boat, which was the pre Disney
- 8:04Speaker 2: cruise line. Was that no, No, it was Disney went
- 8:08Speaker 2: down to nasaur Or, so I don't know. It was
- 8:11Speaker 2: part of the experience of going to Disney World in
- 8:14Speaker 2: like ninety one. So it was ten magical, eleven ish
- 8:19Speaker 2: and that was fine. I had fun. They had like
- 8:22Speaker 2: stuff for kids to do, so I had a great time.
- 8:24Speaker 2: But then I took one of those like Booze cruise
- 8:26Speaker 2: to Mexico's as part of a wedding that I was.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I did the I made the dress and I was
- 8:32Speaker 2: part of the wedding party. But I wasn't in the
- 8:34Speaker 2: wedding and so I got to go on the cruise
- 8:37Speaker 2: with the wedding party.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I was cruise.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like a carnival cruise and oh.
- 8:42Speaker 1: It's still a cruise link.
- 8:43Speaker 2: It was still cruise line. But I got like a
- 8:46Speaker 2: runner up in the like karaoke competition that we did
- 8:49Speaker 2: all the ships. So I came home with this like
- 8:52Speaker 2: stupid little like metal they made me wear on.
- 8:55Speaker 1: The ship and I was like, it was the top
- 8:56Speaker 1: of a yogurt lip.
- 8:58Speaker 2: No it was not. I mean it was an ice
- 9:00Speaker 2: mad It looked like a smaller version of like a
- 9:03Speaker 2: gold medal, but it was all like carnival themed, and
- 9:05Speaker 2: I was like, I want the shit, get this off me.
- 9:08Speaker 2: But other than that, it was just like cafeteria food
- 9:10Speaker 2: and like buy your own booze and casino and I
- 9:14Speaker 2: was like, can I go home now? It felt like
- 9:17Speaker 2: three days was much too long if you.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Were on the carnival cruise that stopped and was a
- 9:21Speaker 1: floating toilet.
- 9:22Speaker 5: Oh my gosh.
- 9:23Speaker 1: That stories on Netflix. Check it out. It's so much
- 9:26Speaker 1: fun cruise.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I don't know if it's fun, but it is, yeah, interesting, interesting, fun,
- 9:35Speaker 2: all right, so fun. Well, anyone have anything exciting happened
- 9:39Speaker 2: in the last week since we saw each other?
- 9:41Speaker 1: Or yeah, Anye, what'd you do?
- 9:44Speaker 3: I got nothing going on right now? It's a boring time.
- 9:47Speaker 3: It's a very boring time.
- 9:48Speaker 2: It sounds like you need to start another podcast.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I too, I need like seven more.
- 9:52Speaker 1: He's always on call for comedy club, so you never
- 9:54Speaker 1: know you might get the call.
- 9:55Speaker 3: I am always available.
- 9:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:58Speaker 2: My problem up here is that I've tried to go
- 10:01Speaker 2: to a couple open nights mic nights, and they all
- 10:04Speaker 2: seem to like not have the right contact person on
- 10:10Speaker 2: the website anymore. Like one person I reached out to
- 10:12Speaker 2: and I said, hey, like I saw signups or through
- 10:14Speaker 2: this thing. You know, I want to try to tell
- 10:17Speaker 2: some jokes. My life's pretty hard and so I think
- 10:19Speaker 2: people will laugh at it. And I sent this really
- 10:22Speaker 2: sweet email. The guy emailed me back and he said,
- 10:26Speaker 2: I've asked them to take my name off the website
- 10:27Speaker 2: like forty times. I don't want me here anymore since COVID.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I'm so sorry. And I also don't.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Like, don't you.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Find anything up here? And I don't really know anybody,
- 10:42Speaker 2: but it's definitely something I've thought of. But then I
- 10:45Speaker 2: see how hard Eddie works, and I'm like, do I
- 10:47Speaker 2: want more hardship in my life?
- 10:49Speaker 3: Yeah? You got to love it. Something you have to
- 10:51Speaker 3: want to really do. It's not easy. That's because it's
- 10:56Speaker 3: just the grind of trying to go and find places
- 10:58Speaker 3: to get up.
- 10:59Speaker 2: And I talked myself out.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I was.
- 11:03Speaker 2: We diverted somewhere in our careers, but I was very,
- 11:08Speaker 2: very heavily into improv and doing like sketch comedy stuff
- 11:14Speaker 2: up until my mid twenties, and then somewhere around there
- 11:16Speaker 2: I decided that, like I had to be grown up
- 11:19Speaker 2: and I miss it. And like when you were talking
- 11:22Speaker 2: about SNL last week, I was like, I've always felt
- 11:25Speaker 2: like I would have been a strong contender, although I don't.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm not terribly good at impressions.
- 11:31Speaker 3: But it's an impression heavy format.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, And I'm like, but then I see people
- 11:38Speaker 2: like Pete Davidson and I'm like, I definitely could have been.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well there's always people in show business. You're like, oh,
- 11:45Speaker 3: he got in, but.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, I'm impressed with you.
- 11:50Speaker 1: She has a crush on Pete Davidson, and I'm like,
- 11:53Speaker 1: why is he funny?
- 11:55Speaker 2: I have a crush on Pete Davidson because Pete david
- 12:00Speaker 2: knows that he is his own joke. To some extent,
- 12:05Speaker 2: I think, like it's not a.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Real self aware Yeah, it's like, yeah, like.
- 12:12Speaker 2: He has a similar brand to me, where like I'm
- 12:14Speaker 2: very honest that like I'm probably gonna be late with
- 12:16Speaker 2: your artwork, I'm probably gonna be late onto your podcast.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I'm probably like there are shortcomings, and I am open
- 12:24Speaker 2: and honest about them, and I think to some extent,
- 12:26Speaker 2: you know, he addressed the fact that someone told him
- 12:28Speaker 2: he had butthhole eyes in something he did, and I
- 12:31Speaker 2: was like, you know, you could have just like cried
- 12:34Speaker 2: about that at home because his eyes are darker like
- 12:37Speaker 2: a butthole. Oh, because he's always anyway, I just if
- 12:43Speaker 2: someone's self aware, like if tomorrow, I mean, I'm never
- 12:47Speaker 2: gonna like Kanye West or Yee or whatever the fuck
- 12:50Speaker 2: his name is today, but if he tomorrow came out
- 12:55Speaker 2: and said, like, you know what, guys, I just want
- 12:57Speaker 2: your money. I know I'm a huge piece of shit.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I wouldn't suddenly buy his stuff, but I would respect
- 13:03Speaker 2: him a little bit. He'd be like, whereas I don't
- 13:05Speaker 2: respect him at all? Right now, you know that kind
- 13:08Speaker 2: of a thing. Anyway, it's my story, got it? Well, Gina,
- 13:12Speaker 2: did you want to tell us about the episode?
- 13:14Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 13:16Speaker 1: I want to tell Eddie. I loved his shirt the
- 13:17Speaker 1: other day about never mind that ship. Here comes Mongo.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Oh the published it was on the just scrolling on Instagram.
- 13:29Speaker 3: It's just one of those as it pops up on
- 13:30Speaker 3: Instagrams like I have.
- 13:31Speaker 1: To buy it and it was legit. Huh didn't it
- 13:34Speaker 1: didn't get taken.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Now it's like candy Gramm. Yes.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 1: My very line is mongo is on in Game of
- 13:41Speaker 1: Life Mungo. Okay, okay, but on this show we're talking
- 13:48Speaker 1: about season two, episode seventeen, which is called Bedtime Story.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Got it.
- 13:53Speaker 1: The original air date is February seventh, nineteen eighty seven.
- 13:57Speaker 1: The director was Terry Hughes and it was written by
- 14:00Speaker 1: Barry Fernaro and Terry Grossman. Okay, now, what do you
- 14:04Speaker 1: think Bedtime Story is about children?
- 14:08Speaker 3: I think they're euthanizing Rose.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Because she was so dumb last week.
- 14:14Speaker 3: They like, we have to put her out because the
- 14:21Speaker 3: Bedtime Story as the youthanizer.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Oh as they're injecting her, as.
- 14:25Speaker 3: They're injecting of the reader because she won't. That's the
- 14:27Speaker 3: way they convince her that it's they're not euthanizing hers.
- 14:30Speaker 3: They're like, no, go to sleep or just read your
- 14:32Speaker 3: bedtime story. They kill her.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Justin What do you think.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Top that? Yeah?
- 14:43Speaker 5: Right, they're going to have a house guest, and anytime
- 14:47Speaker 5: they have a house guest, mom and Dorothy have to
- 14:50Speaker 5: sleep in the same bed together, and she's gonna come
- 14:54Speaker 5: up with some crazy cicily bedtime story.
- 15:00Speaker 1: That seems more likely. I'm gonna say, but I'm not
- 15:04Speaker 1: counting yours out.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Eddie, do you remember what this episode is about? You know?
- 15:10Speaker 1: Yes? Oh, okay, it's not a I mean it might
- 15:15Speaker 1: be about euthanizing Rose. I mean maybe it might be.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Why do you ask me, why do you know?
- 15:24Speaker 2: Well, because I obviously know what it's about, and I
- 15:26Speaker 2: don't want to spoil the episode, but I do want
- 15:28Speaker 2: to say that I do feel there could be a
- 15:30Speaker 2: little tiny bit of foreshadowing in Eddie's answer without knowing it.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Oh yeah, now I know what you're talking about.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, no one, no one. Someone might die, someone
- 15:43Speaker 2: might not. I don't know, but.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I see how, I see how you're spinning it. Yes, yeah, sorry,
- 15:49Speaker 1: So Eddie and Kristen, can you please agree on who
- 15:52Speaker 1: will be the villain for the episode?
- 15:57Speaker 3: Rose?
- 15:57Speaker 1: That's why they go you can always be capitalism.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we did have a guest for capitalism once.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, what did you say, Kristen?
- 16:06Speaker 3: You said Rose Rose, Dorothy, Dorothy.
- 16:12Speaker 1: We you kids have to agree, so you find it out.
- 16:14Speaker 5: We can do Dorothy. Let's do Dorothy.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:17Speaker 5: Why not?
- 16:18Speaker 2: All right?
- 16:19Speaker 1: Dorothy is miss scat ready?
- 16:22Speaker 2: Okay, not Norman. We're not going to go back an
- 16:24Speaker 2: episode and say Norman. We need Norman to come back
- 16:27Speaker 2: that beat youth and eye Rose.
- 16:29Speaker 1: For Emily's parents, you don't just not call and say
- 16:34Speaker 1: your wife went in the labor that's right.
- 16:39Speaker 5: I forgot Gimblet, that's right.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Which if you're having Gimblets come pick up your kids
- 16:45Speaker 2: just to.
- 16:45Speaker 5: Take a cab?
- 16:46Speaker 1: What's a gimlet? Is that a drink?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lime juice vodka thing.
- 16:52Speaker 5: That's sad, cucumber gin. Gimblet was really good at maconey sushi.
- 16:57Speaker 2: It can be or vodka. I don't know what the real.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Bartend Maybe I'm not sure.
- 17:05Speaker 3: You wouldn't want to ask me.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I don't know if I want to drink no offense.
- 17:09Speaker 1: And you have like a drink guide behind the bar,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I don't yeh it.
- 17:13Speaker 3: I kept looking at the menu to make the drink.
- 17:15Speaker 3: It was just it was a nightmare.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I was going to say, I don't want to drink
- 17:18Speaker 2: that Eddie Pence is made because you didn't drink.
- 17:20Speaker 1: And he doesn't know how.
- 17:22Speaker 2: You're just like, oh, long Island.
- 17:25Speaker 3: I I'll give you a heavy poor, that's for sure.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Oh did you God?
- 17:31Speaker 2: You should have been a bartender at a gay club.
- 17:33Speaker 2: That's the heaviest pores in that.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Clubs always have the strongest drenth.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Yes they do.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I was wasted at the I.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Went wasted because clearly no one's going to fuck her here,
- 17:47Speaker 1: you know.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Well I don't know. I went with my parents to
- 17:52Speaker 2: New Year's Eve at this like famous drag show up here.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Darcel he passed like a year or two ago, but
- 18:00Speaker 2: up until Darcel died, he was His name was Walter Cole.
- 18:04Speaker 2: In real life. There's actually been a music, a small
- 18:07Speaker 2: local musical written about him. There's a book written about him.
- 18:10Speaker 2: But he was the oldest working drag queen. He made
- 18:13Speaker 2: it into the world rec like the Guinness World Records
- 18:17Speaker 2: and all that shit. And anyway, we went there for
- 18:20Speaker 2: New Year's Eve one year, shortly after I had moved
- 18:23Speaker 2: up here. We all got COVID for New Year's because
- 18:27Speaker 2: good present, yep. But the drinks, man, I was fucking wasted.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I had to sit in my car like three in
- 18:36Speaker 2: the morning in downtown Portland. I only had like two
- 18:40Speaker 2: drinks and the little champagne split they gave us and
- 18:42Speaker 2: I was like.
- 18:43Speaker 1: What, yes, twenty twenty whatever it was.
- 18:47Speaker 2: And oh it was bad newspairs. That's my story.

- 19:53Speaker 2: most recent.
- 19:54Speaker 1: So I gotta anyway, let's talk about this show. Welcome.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys want to play. You wanna do a
- 20:00Speaker 2: little quiz? Yes, do it, Eddie. I know how last week,
- 20:05Speaker 2: so can't wait.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I believe in you, Eddie.
- 20:08Speaker 2: We we talked about this little bit off air, but
- 20:11Speaker 2: my first note on the quiz actually just says I
- 20:14Speaker 2: want planches Robe. I really liked her, like Kimona. Anyway,
- 20:22Speaker 2: all right, Question one? Who is coming?
- 20:26Speaker 1: Your name is your buzzer?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Oh? Yes, Eddie, you forgot, it's been a week. Sorry,
- 20:31Speaker 2: let me finish the question. And then your name is
- 20:33Speaker 2: your buzzer?
- 20:34Speaker 3: Got it?
- 20:34Speaker 2: Okay? Perfect? Who is coming to visit the girls?
- 20:41Speaker 5: Yes, cousin Milo and uncle Vito.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Wow?
- 20:45Speaker 2: Yeah, Wow? Why is Milo in town?
- 20:53Speaker 1: Gina? Yes, the fourteenth annual hog Expo. That is correct,
- 20:58Speaker 1: It is correct, fourteenth already.
- 21:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel like.
- 21:01Speaker 2: It was just the twelfth. Finish the line ba ba
- 21:06Speaker 2: ba blanche edition.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Whoop woop woop boop.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Get your bunny.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Nose, Eddie, Yes, out of my butt? Yes, I thought in.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Buzzed and said Betty channeling rooms.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Okay. Next question, what was the name of Dorothy's rag
- 21:32Speaker 2: doll Kristen?
- 21:34Speaker 5: Yes, missus doolittle.
- 21:37Speaker 2: M you would always cold fucking that plays into villain,
- 21:43Speaker 2: not to get ahead of myself. But next question. We
- 21:49Speaker 2: know that four in a bed is a treat when
- 21:52Speaker 2: you are in Sicily, but what does it mean in Sicily?
- 21:55Speaker 3: Eddie? Yes, that the half the family's on vacation.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, EDI's smacking us all right? Next question, why
- 22:09Speaker 2: is God so busy these days?
- 22:16Speaker 1: Gina? Yes, he's talking to Pat Robertson.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, there's a no stump bonus point available. Who
- 22:26Speaker 2: is Pat Robertson?
- 22:30Speaker 1: Gina? Yeah, he's a televangelist that started the seven hundred Club.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Yeah, American medium, mogo televangelist, political commentator, presidential candidate and
- 22:45Speaker 2: charismatic minister. Is that is the official waking?
- 22:48Speaker 1: I don't know why they called it seven hundred club?
- 22:50Speaker 1: Is that like some holy number? Does anyone knows?
- 22:54Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 22:55Speaker 2: I'm looking at Eddie because Eddie's wickedly smarter than me
- 22:59Speaker 2: about things sometimes, and I.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Don't know about that one.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Now. Yeah, okay, all right, let's just move on then.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Much like we didn't understand why it was called the
- 23:07Speaker 2: seven hundredth club, Rose doesn't understand two things. What are they?
- 23:16Speaker 5: Kristen, yes, poverty and the spokesmodel category for Star search.
- 23:22Speaker 2: All right, yeah, yeah, that is confusing. I understand that,
- 23:27Speaker 2: all right.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I know why it's called that. Now if you care
- 23:30Speaker 1: to know, Oh yes, I can save it.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:33Speaker 1: The seven Hundred Club is named in honor of the
- 23:35Speaker 1: first seven hundred people who pledged ten dollars to financially
- 23:38Speaker 1: support the Christian broadcasting networks, and the name just stuck.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Stupid yep.
- 23:46Speaker 2: What does God say to Rose.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Gina? Yes, thank you for the lovely pero, shut up
- 23:57Speaker 1: and get back into the bed. Yes, huh, but she
- 24:01Speaker 1: claims it wasn't her.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Yeah. This next one is a two parter. Who or
- 24:07Speaker 2: what was the Saint Olaf Slasher and what else did
- 24:11Speaker 2: he disfigure?
- 24:13Speaker 5: Kristen? Yes, the Saint Olaf Slasher was someone who would
- 24:19Speaker 5: slash the scarecrows to shreds okay, and he was suspected
- 24:22Speaker 5: of disfigurement of switchbrooms, whisk brooms, whisk brooms.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, are you just answering in case?
- 24:37Speaker 1: You know, I don't think he said his name.
- 24:40Speaker 2: No, not this time. No, But I'm just asking. It's fine,
- 24:43Speaker 2: you don't.
- 24:44Speaker 1: You don't lose points at which.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Male celebrity does Blanche say, Rose looks like from the nose.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Up Kristin.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Wilford.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Yes, Now, I have been using Welford Brimley uh comedically
- 25:03Speaker 2: for years and saying things like my dog Buddhas and
- 25:06Speaker 2: talking about a show he did with Deirdre Hall that
- 25:08Speaker 2: no one remembers and I can't think the name of
- 25:11Speaker 2: it right now, But we must have made fun of
- 25:14Speaker 2: him when I was a kid, because he's already been
- 25:17Speaker 2: made fun of on this show like two three times
- 25:19Speaker 2: and we're only on season two. Is called Our House, Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 25:25Speaker 2: It was him and Deirdre Hall, and there's like a
- 25:26Speaker 2: blonde kid on it that went.
- 25:28Speaker 1: On also in that e Walk movie. I'm sure any
- 25:31Speaker 1: Cavana courage, Yeah, Caravana crap.
- 25:36Speaker 5: Well, there's two. There's I think he's in the Battle of.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Endor, the Battle of Endor Super He's in the one
- 25:42Speaker 1: with the kids. Right, Then there's right is the first.
- 25:46Speaker 3: One's got the kids and the second one pretty much
- 25:49Speaker 3: everyone died.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Did they?
- 25:52Speaker 3: They kill everybody.
- 25:53Speaker 2: So it's a lot like if Eddie wrote Golden Girls.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Okay, cool, they are on Disney plus them are the
- 26:00Speaker 1: holiday special on there too. The new one is the
- 26:05Speaker 1: one Leah's Cocnail. There's a new one. Yeah, I didn't
- 26:10Speaker 1: know that. Does it have like the newer actors or
- 26:15Speaker 1: what is it? Is it animated or.
- 26:17Speaker 3: It's a lego thing. I think, oh it's a lego thing.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that any good watch.
- 26:22Speaker 3: That's all right for lego thing.
- 26:24Speaker 5: I liked The Guardians of Galaxy Christmas.
- 26:26Speaker 2: That was really good. Forced Tom and Janet to watch
- 26:30Speaker 2: that and I said, hey, that's good, We're going to
- 26:32Speaker 2: watch this and they were like. My mom was like,
- 26:34Speaker 2: I haven't seen these movies? What is happening? And then
- 26:37Speaker 2: my dad and I had to explain every character.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Okay, part of the Holiday Special is that the grandpa
- 26:42Speaker 1: is basically watching porn in the living room at heads Advisor.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Porn.
- 26:50Speaker 1: The Arthurs in the Holiday Special connections together. He sings
- 26:56Speaker 1: a song.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Speaking of b Arthur. What is a Sophia's liniment?
- 27:02Speaker 5: Kristin, Yes, hot fish, oil, garlic, petroleum, jelly, and parsley.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Okay, Part two question sort of why is there parsley
- 27:19Speaker 2: in the liniment?
- 27:21Speaker 1: I almost said it. I'm glad I didn't, Gina. The
- 27:25Speaker 1: parsley is for presentation.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Yeah, presentation is very important. Fourteen questions in let's see,
- 27:34Speaker 2: I like to write these, and Kristen's always like, there's
- 27:37Speaker 2: so long, but I have fun writing.
- 27:39Speaker 5: It's fun.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Okay, what time did the nine to fifteen train to
- 27:44Speaker 2: Miami leave at Kristin? Yes?
- 27:47Speaker 5: Eight forty five?
- 27:48Speaker 1: Yes, come on, Eddie, you knew.
- 27:50Speaker 3: That I was. I said I was thinking eight to fifty.
- 27:52Speaker 3: I'm like, well, that's that would be wrong. It was
- 27:54Speaker 3: half an hour.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Math is hard for me. Yeah, we know the town
- 28:01Speaker 2: is known for its early train departures. But what is
- 28:05Speaker 2: the name of the.
- 28:06Speaker 5: Town, Kristen, Yes, app.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Is ApoB finish the line, Dorothy edition, don't you have
- 28:22Speaker 2: a cousin?
- 28:25Speaker 1: Eddie?
- 28:26Speaker 3: Yes, you should be dating?
- 28:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that text what happened? And then it
- 28:36Speaker 2: is the last question, and then we're done. What happened
- 28:40Speaker 2: to the chipped beef on Dorothy's plate?
- 28:44Speaker 5: Christ? Yes, it goes into Sophia's purse and then tickets
- 28:50Speaker 5: eaten by Sophia.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 5: Yeah, the lights go out and all of a sudden,
- 28:56Speaker 5: the picture.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a miracle.
- 29:00Speaker 1: The answer is it's inner tummy.
- 29:02Speaker 5: Like when the toddlers learned to sneak their food at
- 29:04Speaker 5: the dog.
- 29:05Speaker 2: That's all that's all I got, because I had another
- 29:08Speaker 2: Why would I think, did you one? I didn't.
- 29:12Speaker 3: I won all right?
- 29:16Speaker 2: Maybe has at the beginning, so I thought we had
- 29:21Speaker 2: a chance, and then he got distracted.
- 29:24Speaker 1: You did so good.
- 29:26Speaker 3: I did good at the beginning, but you did good.
- 29:29Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 29:30Speaker 1: He's thinking about a sandwich.
- 29:32Speaker 5: I mean you can think not the destination.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Jerk off for a sandwich throwback.
- 29:41Speaker 2: That is a throwback. I did a graphic for that.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I know some assholes that said this looks like something
- 29:50Speaker 2: you got from clip art, and I was like, fuck
- 29:52Speaker 2: you what true as sandwich?
- 29:56Speaker 1: That looks like clip art? The trick offer cash a sandwich?
- 30:04Speaker 2: I mean, all right, whatever, here's the deal. I want
- 30:08Speaker 2: to hear about the trivia from this episode.
- 30:10Speaker 1: All right, I can help you with that.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Thanks.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Randy Bennett was the station master. He was if you
- 30:18Speaker 1: like Evil Dead too. He was the art director and
- 30:22Speaker 1: he was the voice of the computer in the Brave
- 30:24Speaker 1: Little Toaster.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Oh I didn't know that.
- 30:26Speaker 5: I love Brave Little Toaster.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Good one. Charles Bouvier, uncredited was the clown. He had
- 30:33Speaker 1: some night Court appearances. I loved that show. B Arthur
- 30:38Speaker 1: starred as Yenta in the original Broadway run of Fiddler
- 30:41Speaker 1: on the Roof. She was singing sunrise on set. That's
- 30:44Speaker 1: where that's from.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Oh oh, deep cut chipped.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Beef is pressed, salted dried beef, sliced thin eddie, would
- 30:55Speaker 1: you eat that we have.
- 30:57Speaker 3: On the RALF report?
- 30:58Speaker 1: Did you like it?
- 31:00Speaker 3: Had shit on a shingle?
- 31:01Speaker 1: That's right, it's also got shited on a shingle.
- 31:04Speaker 3: It was? It was, okay, it was.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I don't like it. She's making chip beef on toast,
- 31:09Speaker 1: which has white sauce for the toast. This is the
- 31:12Speaker 1: first anthology episode. The Way We Met had flashbacks, but
- 31:16Speaker 1: this is the first true anthology. And then, uh, you
- 31:20Speaker 1: talked about Pat Robertson. Christy Brinkley was married to a
- 31:24Speaker 1: big eyed man and while we were watching the episode,
- 31:27Speaker 1: we speculated they meant Billy Joel because that's when they
- 31:29Speaker 1: were married, and Blanche references the old I think it's
- 31:34Speaker 1: a fallacy that big feet means big manhood. M I
- 31:44Speaker 1: guess it depends if the guy is huge anyway, he
- 31:46Speaker 1: might have a big one.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I didn't do one of my questions because I thought
- 31:52Speaker 2: maybe it would come up in your trivia.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Oh shit, So what did I mean?
- 31:56Speaker 2: Who was? Does anyone know who he? She was? Referencing
- 31:59Speaker 2: with the Opie and aunt b.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I figured Eddie would that was.
- 32:07Speaker 2: That was all. It was just a nice homage to people. Look,
- 32:12Speaker 2: I don't fucking know. Okay, I'm on like eighty six podcast.
- 32:17Speaker 5: Baby Ron Howard this fishing pole.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Honestly, I think I my baby brother was on Star Trek. Yeah, okay, okay,
- 32:27Speaker 2: I didn't realize it comes back to ship on Aaron time,
- 32:31Speaker 2: all right, whatever not Star Wars. Okay, would you like
- 32:38Speaker 2: to hear why Dorothy's a villain?
- 32:41Speaker 1: I would love to hear.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Yes, Okay.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Is she gonna be the villain in all the flashbacks?
- 32:46Speaker 1: That's my question? Oh you wanted to just the story.
- 32:51Speaker 2: I overarched the story. Okay, all right, I can't break
- 32:55Speaker 2: it down.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Whatever you want, Cupcake.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Okay, Well, Dorothy's being kind of a bitch when they're sleeping,
- 33:04Speaker 2: and she keeps trying to talk to her mom and
- 33:07Speaker 2: her mom's like, get the fuck out of here. And
- 33:10Speaker 2: here's why that's actually villainous or should be criminal, is
- 33:15Speaker 2: because she does that fucking child voice, funny Missus West.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Voice, shots fired, Ladies and gentlemen, Eddie, you want to
- 33:34Speaker 1: be on the show full time because I think Kristen.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Just got fired, Just got fired, Damn okay. She ruins
- 33:43Speaker 2: her mom's purse by filling it disgusting chipped.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Beef and lies lies about it.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Filled it with lies. Sophia filled it with sushi one time.
- 33:58Speaker 2: She pretends to yeah, that's true. On our date, she
- 34:02Speaker 2: pretends to be God and then gaslights Blanche about not
- 34:06Speaker 2: doing the voice when come on, you'll be Arthur.
- 34:09Speaker 3: He's pretty evil in this episode.
- 34:11Speaker 2: She's awful. She's mean to her mom when she's sick.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Her mom's like just sitting there in a hard ass
- 34:17Speaker 2: chair next to the bed for three days and she's like,
- 34:20Speaker 2: I ann.
- 34:21Speaker 3: And honestly, if you're sitting there talking you look over
- 34:23Speaker 3: and she's laying on the bed, you think she's dead.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Like she doesn't even check to see if she's breathing.
- 34:27Speaker 3: She just thws a blanket on her down.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Old people look dead when they sleep.
- 34:30Speaker 2: It's a weird thing to then realistically covering her up
- 34:35Speaker 2: with your sick blankets. She's trying to kill her.
- 34:37Speaker 3: She's trying to murder her.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Mom in case she's not already dead. She's trying to
- 34:42Speaker 2: give her brown kitess and.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Kill she hasn't caught it in three days, sitting in
- 34:46Speaker 1: that chair though immune.
- 34:48Speaker 2: And then she tells that awful, awful joke, I guess
- 34:54Speaker 2: to the poor train conductor, the happy little man just
- 34:57Speaker 2: playing the game of Solitaire, wearing his cute little hat
- 35:00Speaker 2: an apple abbachobee, and she's like, don't you have a cousin?
- 35:03Speaker 2: You should be dating cousin.
- 35:05Speaker 3: Fucker, Yeah, you you well she he kind of egged
- 35:08Speaker 3: her on with that one by putting the big the
- 35:10Speaker 3: big kettle on the back bar.
- 35:11Speaker 1: That's true, that's true.
- 35:13Speaker 2: He does. Yeah, But like, do you want to run
- 35:16Speaker 2: into be Arthur naked at a No, because she's dead.
- 35:20Speaker 2: But if she wasn't dead, would you want to?
- 35:22Speaker 1: Would the skeleton still be there? I'll take a look.
- 35:26Speaker 2: A friend, a former friend of mine that we had
- 35:29Speaker 2: a disagreement years ago, and if we hadn't split ways,
- 35:34Speaker 2: I would have had him on this show like every
- 35:36Speaker 2: week because he's obsessed with golden girls. He met be
- 35:40Speaker 2: Arthur and he was like, she was like but she
- 35:43Speaker 2: was already like ninety or something when he met her,
- 35:45Speaker 2: and he was like, she was like a lot of women.
- 35:48Speaker 2: She was like not fat, but like she was just
- 35:50Speaker 2: so tall. Yeah. Woman, well that's uh, that's why Dorothy's
- 35:56Speaker 2: the villain. Not to mention she didn't in real life.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Like but anyway, although we have a friend who's been
- 36:01Speaker 1: on this show who is taller, Karen Fink, she's what
- 36:04Speaker 1: six three? Yeah, she's like, sit out, b Arthur, you're
- 36:08Speaker 1: only five men.
- 36:11Speaker 2: When I stand next to Karen and John Fink, I look.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Everyone feels do you feel like a child?
