- 0:22Coop and let's start your day off in a fantastic way.
- 0:27Hey, good morning, everybody. It's a very, very quiet morning
- 0:31because you were sitting at my computer with me and we are
- 0:34learning, we are deep into learning all about AI and how it
- 0:39can help us and also, you know, looking at what it's not great
- 0:43at. And I think that that is the,
- 0:46the quintessential thing I want to impart on everybody today.
- 0:51If you are afraid of AI, don't be because it's, it is going to
- 0:56be here no matter what. And when you start looking at
- 1:00it, you see that it can do many, many things for you and it can
- 1:05do some things really well and other things it's just not great
- 1:09at. And when you go in and you start
- 1:14this process of learning, no matter what you're learning.
- 1:17I'm just using AI as an example. Today you can recognize in
- 1:23yourself a vigor, A dread, whatever the emotion might be.
- 1:27When you go into learning something, it starts to take
- 1:30shape in a direction and before you know it, you're either more
- 1:34excited or you're confirming your dread.
- 1:38What I mean by that is I sit down and I go into this AI and
- 1:42I'm like, so excited because I want to know what the potential
- 1:45is. I want to see how can it help me
- 1:48so I can save time. How can it help me do tasks that
- 1:52I don't like to do some? And again, what's it good at?
- 1:56What's it not good at? Like, you know, there are major
- 1:58platforms that do it and some of them are really good at certain
- 2:02things and some of them are not so good at certain things.
- 2:04Like for instance, if you're doing deep research, like
- 2:07really, really deep research, perplexity is probably going to
- 2:11be your best bet because it has been built to be a research
- 2:15tool. So when you jump in and, and
- 2:17start using it, you're going to notice that it really does a
- 2:21good scrub. It gives you great information.
- 2:24I I was laughing when I was looking at the differences and
- 2:27things because I'm like, this is like going into the library of
- 2:30old days and walking in and being like, oh, I'm just going
- 2:34to walk up to the shelf and pull off a book.
- 2:36And I'll use that for whatever research I was doing.
- 2:38Or it's going in and saying, let me dive into that card catalog.
- 2:42Let me start really thinking about what books I should look
- 2:45at. Let me talk to a librarian.
- 2:48For those of you who are listening and never had to do
- 2:50that, let me tell you, it was a different world.
- 2:53And then, you know, we got used to Google and we started looking
- 2:56at just that first page of the Google search and all of that.
- 3:00And, and that was like, is it good?
- 3:02Is it good enough? And we, we settled for good
- 3:05enough. So there are so many lessons in
- 3:08this learning process. But when I sit down and I start
- 3:11doing this, I get more and more excited.
- 3:14I see myself getting like, oh wow, that's a possibility.
- 3:18And even when I see the things it's not good at, I'm excited
- 3:21about that. So that now I know, hey, don't
- 3:24stick your finger in that light socket.
- 3:26Don't ask it to do something it's essentially not good at
- 3:29doing. Look for something else.
- 3:32Now if you're on the dread side of it and you sit there and
- 3:35you're like, OK, I'm going to do this.
- 3:38I don't want to do this. This is overwhelming.
- 3:41You immediately are going to have confirmation bias of
- 3:44everything you see. And you're going to be like,
- 3:46see, I knew it, See, I knew it. And you're not going to get
- 3:48anywhere. And I can have confirmation bias
- 3:51with my excitement too, but because I keep asking equal
- 3:55questions, OK, what are you great at?
- 3:57What are you good at and what do you suck at?
- 4:00I have less of a chance of getting trapped so I'm using
- 4:04this example as AI. But you can do it for anything.
- 4:07And if you have been sitting and holding yourself back from doing
- 4:10this, don't jump on. Go into something, go to Claude,
- 4:15go to ChatGPT, go to Gemini, and literally you can sign up for
- 4:20free and you can say, hey, I don't know how to use you at
- 4:25all. What can you help me with?
- 4:27And it's going to ask you questions.
- 4:29If you say ask me questions so I can figure out how to use you,
- 4:32it will actually teach you how to use it, which is a novel
- 4:37concept. You don't have to go in you.
- 4:39It's actually there to help you understand things.
- 4:42So I mean, you can, you can take something very, very simple in
- 4:47your business and you can just start or in your private life,
- 4:50like, OK, so for instance, let's just take something that's a big
- 4:53part of both my worlds, my business and my personal life,
- 4:57the gardening. I can, I have started a whole
- 5:00chat about the garden and the season and what's working and
- 5:04what's not working. And it's tracking it all.
- 5:06So it can give me a debrief at the end of it.
- 5:09So every day when I find stuff, I put it in my notes app in my
- 5:12phone. And then I'm going to just take
- 5:14all of those notes and I'm going to put them right into this
- 5:17chat. And it's going to start telling
- 5:19me all kinds of things. I've already got a bunch of
- 5:21notes in there, but it's going to start giving me a debrief at
- 5:24the end of the season. So I'm like, OK, when I tell you
- 5:27it's the end of the season when I started the chat, you can give
- 5:30me the summations. I'm going to have it put all the
- 5:33seeds in so I know what I bought and what worked and what didn't
- 5:36work. Amazing stuff.
- 5:39Amazing stuff can be done with it.
- 5:40And then I'm asking it make suggestions for me about how I
- 5:43can make it better. But I have to go into that with
- 5:46the levels of the good, the bad and the ugly.
- 5:49So remember that whatever you're doing, sit there and look at it
- 5:52from all points of view and have curiosity and questions because
- 5:56that's going to make it better. All right, my friends, I hope
- 5:59you have a blessed day and I'll see you tomorrow.
- 6:01Bye.
