- 0:53Speaker 4: on in Oxford, Ole Miss, LSU. Coming up this weekend,
- 0:56Speaker 4: Ben Troop, Hour 2, talking Florida, Auburn, and the rest
- 1:00Speaker 4: of the SEC slate. Mississippi State, Kamario Taylor headed to
- 1:03Speaker 4: South Carolina to take on Lenore Sellers and the Gamecocks.
- 1:07Speaker 4: And our three is wide open. Let me get these texts,
- 1:10Speaker 4: and I want to go to something Ross Jellinger said.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Real C. Collins, I have begged Real C. Jr. to
- 1:16Speaker 3: sell his two tickets for that game.
- 1:19Speaker 4: They could either be worthless afterwards or incredibly expensive after
- 1:24Speaker 4: one or the other. It's a money game at this point.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Ole Miss could stand to benefit a lot if they
- 1:30Speaker 4: can pull this off, but they can.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Also lose it. All LSU has nothing to lose. I
- 1:37Speaker 3: disagree about that.
- 1:39Speaker 4: LSU has everything to lose. You got all the money
- 1:43Speaker 4: tied into Kiffin. You got all the money, not just Kiffin.
- 1:48Speaker 4: And granted, each sport is individualized. All the money they
- 1:52Speaker 4: put into Kim Mulkey. All the money they put into
- 1:55Speaker 4: Will Wade. The governor of Louisiana. They've made this whole spectacle.
- 2:01Speaker 4: LSU needs to win.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Do they not?
- 2:04Speaker 4: It's egg on your face if you go up there
- 2:06Speaker 4: and if it's seasoned craters. And equally so, and somebody's
- 2:09Speaker 4: got to win. Ole Miss stands to lose a lot, too.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Let me see if I can get some updated ticket
- 2:15Speaker 4: prices on this, courtesy of StubHub.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Let's see here. LSU Ole Miss.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Let's say me and B, we're going to get the
- 2:25Speaker 4: Fista and get two tickets and take the pig. Yeah,
- 2:29Speaker 4: we're still sitting around.
- 2:30Speaker 3: $ 629 is your cheapest.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Oh, I did find one for $ 418.
- 2:37Speaker 3: $ 629. $ 873 per ticket. $ 726.
- 2:42Speaker 5: $ 606.
- 2:43Speaker 4: I mean, you're spending a fortune. You're spending a fortune
- 2:48Speaker 4: if you go up there. You know, if you're looking
- 2:49Speaker 4: for third-party. So, yes, Real C. C. Junior, y'all can
- 2:53Speaker 4: make some money on this. You could probably get closer
- 2:55Speaker 4: to Friday. You could probably get somewhere around $ 1, 000 a ticket.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Don't you think? Somebody would pay it. About $ 1, 000 a ticket.
- 3:03Speaker 6: Yeah, and Real C says he's been asking him to
- 3:06Speaker 6: sell his tickets. Two tickets.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Two.
- 3:11Speaker 6: So let's look at that baseline average $ 600. This kid
- 3:17Speaker 6: can make $ 1, 200 if he sold those. That's real money
- 3:22Speaker 6: for anybody. And if I remember right, Real C's kid
- 3:25Speaker 6: is around a college-age kid. So especially, I'd sell those, man.
- 3:32Speaker 3: No, I would too.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I would.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Smitty, what would happen if Lane walked in and did
- 3:38Speaker 4: a Triple H with a bottle of vodka? It'd be
- 3:41Speaker 4: so epic, for real. If LSU could put up 100 points,
- 3:48Speaker 4: he says that coach would do it. Seriously, 42-21 with
- 3:51Speaker 4: the Tigers on top.
- 3:52Speaker 2: 42-21.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Do you think it's that lopsided? I don't.
- 3:59Speaker 6: It depends on what Sam Levitt we're getting. I think
- 4:04Speaker 6: a large chunk of this depends on Sam Levitt.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I agree.
- 4:09Speaker 6: I am absolutely with you. Your two deciding factors were
- 4:12Speaker 6: Trinidad's a better quarterback and home field. Yes, I absolutely
- 4:17Speaker 6: believe Trinidad is a better quarterback. Sam Levitt, but if
- 4:21Speaker 6: we can see a Sam Levitt from two years ago,
- 4:24Speaker 6: I don't think we will. But I could see it
- 4:29Speaker 6: getting three touchdowns. In that scenario.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Yeah, but we're acting like... I just don't think it will, though.
- 4:37Speaker 3: We're acting like Ole Miss is a bad football team.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I didn't say that.
- 4:44Speaker 4: So you think LSU... If that were the case, that
- 4:47Speaker 4: means Trinidad-Chamberlain is going to get just stonewalled.
- 4:51Speaker 3: For three quarters.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 6: Well, stonewalled.
- 4:59Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 4:59Speaker 6: Just shut completely down? No, he'll have his moments. It'll
- 5:04Speaker 6: be nice moments. He's not going to go out there
- 5:07Speaker 6: and throw for 32 yards or anything.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 5:11Speaker 4: And Jason gives you the W-E-A-U-X Ric Flair woo. All right,
- 5:17Speaker 4: so Texas 601-885-3776. Ross Dallendrup's in here reading through this.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Some reading material on college athletic spending from Senator Maria Cantwell.
- 5:31Speaker 4: All right, first off, let me say everything, and this
- 5:33Speaker 4: is a short read, so bear with me. Everything on
- 5:35Speaker 4: this is real. But, well, let me just read it.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Unsustainable growth in spending for sports amplifies broader financial pressure
- 5:46Speaker 4: on colleges and universities. This is what they're discussing. This
- 5:49Speaker 4: is her pitch, why we need this bill. College sports
- 5:52Speaker 4: spending spiral. American colleges and universities are already under extraordinary
- 5:57Speaker 4: financial strain confronting rising operating costs, enrollment challenges, deferred maintenance,
- 6:03Speaker 4: and growing pressure to keep tuition affordable.
- 6:06Speaker 3: By the way, it's not affordable.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Yet, even as institutions make difficult choices about academic programs,
- 6:13Speaker 4: faculty and staff, and student services, many are committing ever-larger
- 6:17Speaker 4: sums to an increasingly expensive college football arms race. According
- 6:21Speaker 4: to a July 2026 government Accountability Office report 94% of
- 6:27Speaker 4: all Division I athletic programs now spend more than they
- 6:30Speaker 4: generate in athletics revenue in academic year 2023 and 2024,
- 6:34Speaker 4: resulting in campus deficits that must be covered through institutional subsidies,
- 6:39Speaker 4: student fees, public support, or resources that could otherwise strengthen
- 6:44Speaker 4: the academic mission. Even the top sports schools with major
- 6:48Speaker 4: media deals now rely on university subsidies to or mandatory
- 6:52Speaker 4: student fees. According to the Knight Newhouse College Athletics Database,
- 6:57Speaker 4: only 14 of 53 publicly reported Power 4 athletic departments
- 7:01Speaker 4: generated enough revenue to cover expenses in 24 and 25.
- 7:05Speaker 4: And even those 14 schools depend significantly on donor money
- 7:09Speaker 4: to stay afloat. Meanwhile, since 2023, colleges have eliminated more
- 7:14Speaker 4: than 100 women's and Olympic sports programs. This has especially
- 7:18Speaker 4: stark consequences for of a system in which escalating football
- 7:21Speaker 4: expenditures can crowd out opportunities for other student athletes. This
- 7:26Speaker 4: report examines how unsustainable athletics spending is amplifying the broader
- 7:32Speaker 4: fiscal pressure facing higher education and why policymakers and university
- 7:36Speaker 4: leaders are calling for federal legislation that can provide greater transparency, accountability,
- 7:42Speaker 4: and financial discipline in college sports.
- 7:44Speaker 3: And she lists out the $ 120. 3 million.
- 7:47Speaker 4: That's the median report athletics debt amount for Power 4 colleges, $ 519. 9
- 7:53Speaker 4: million increase in institutional government support 2015 versus 2025 across
- 8:00Speaker 4: 53 Power 4 schools and publicly available data. 87% is
- 8:04Speaker 4: the big number she points to of non-Power 4 schools
- 8:08Speaker 4: had mandatory student athletic fees in 23 and 24.
- 8:10Speaker 3: All right. Everything she's saying here is correct. It's out
- 8:15Speaker 3: of control. upside down.
- 8:20Speaker 4: But why wouldn't we just fix this the right way
- 8:25Speaker 4: why do we have to have the government which is
- 8:27Speaker 4: not going to fix it she lists in here legislation
- 8:33Speaker 4: that can provide transparency accountability and financial discipline there is
- 8:40Speaker 4: nothing in dc across any spectrum right now in 2026
- 8:46Speaker 4: that is providing transparency, accountability, or financial discipline. And they
- 8:51Speaker 4: haven't for 20 years, 30 years, 40 years, seems like.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Why are we still led to believe this is what
- 9:00Speaker 4: needs to fix it? You could fix it so fast.
- 9:05Speaker 4: So fast. Salary cap, commissioner, players union.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Oh, no, no, no, no.
- 9:11Speaker 3: We can't make them employees, though. But we're going upside
- 9:15Speaker 3: down and we're sinking. We need something. Well, there it is. No,
- 9:18Speaker 3: we don't want that.
- 9:19Speaker 4: We want the government to fix it. Again, the government's
- 9:22Speaker 4: not going to fix this. We're brought to you by

- 10:33Speaker 4: LSU by double digits. Ole Miss secondary couldn't stop Toledo.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Or no, Tupelo. And probably Toledo, too. Now, I don't know.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Are we.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Look.
- 10:46Speaker 3: For all that we're making out of LSU's dominance over Clemson.
- 10:53Speaker 3: And look, Clemson's bad. They're not good. Can we say that?
- 10:58Speaker 3: They're not good. They're not good at all. As a
- 11:00Speaker 3: matter of fact, let's look.
- 11:03Speaker 6: Wait, Jake, I'm sorry. I got to break in here
- 11:05Speaker 6: because I don't know if you saw it, but there's
- 11:09Speaker 6: a man on the phone who has beef with you.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 11:11Speaker 3: I did not see this.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Let me go over here and look. Oh, let's go
- 11:14Speaker 4: to Real C. I've kept him waiting way too long.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Real C, happy Tuesday, brother. What's going on?
- 11:19Speaker 2: I don't know how happy it is after sitting on
- 11:22Speaker 2: hold for 10 minutes.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Sorry about that. Come on, bro.
- 11:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a straight Chris Brooks move.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Sorry about that.
- 11:32Speaker 2: At least Chris Brooks would have given me naming rights
- 11:35Speaker 2: for the hair scope.
- 11:37Speaker 3: We can still work on that.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Well, I did coin the phrase.
- 11:41Speaker 1: You did.
- 11:42Speaker 2: If you can think back far enough.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Yes, you did.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Look, I sent you my text that you read and
- 11:48Speaker 2: you disagreed with me. My text I sent was one
- 11:52Speaker 2: of those stupid voice text things that I did in
- 11:55Speaker 2: my truck as I was driving because I was being
- 11:57Speaker 2: a responsible driver on the highways and byways on my
- 12:01Speaker 2: way home from the salt mine. So that's good. My
- 12:09Speaker 2: point that I was making about how Ole Miss has
- 12:12Speaker 2: so much to lose is valid, and I'll give you
- 12:17Speaker 2: my case for that. What has every single Ole Miss
- 12:23Speaker 2: fan said about Kiffin's departure outside of the, you know,
- 12:29Speaker 2: he's a sleazy human being, all that kind of stuff.
- 12:32Speaker 2: But basically, we don't need him. We're fine with all that, right?
- 12:36Speaker 3: Yes.
- 12:38Speaker 2: They won't have that if they lose.
- 12:44Speaker 3: No, I mean, you're correct.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Let's be honest. And, again, I'm not hating. He built
- 12:52Speaker 2: that program in the last six years. Every bit of
- 12:57Speaker 2: success they had was a result of him. Now, that
- 13:01Speaker 2: doesn't mean that they can't turn around and do it again.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I have no doubt that they have that ability to
- 13:06Speaker 2: do so. But in the current day and time, that
- 13:10Speaker 2: team he will play against Saturday will be his team
- 13:14Speaker 2: that he built, coached by him. Someone he hired. They
- 13:22Speaker 2: have more to lose if they were to lose. LSU
- 13:26Speaker 2: loses that ball game? Okay, first year here, he's thrown
- 13:30Speaker 2: his team together, yada, yada, yada, all the things. He'll
- 13:34Speaker 2: have a clean sheet to work with, you know, post-game.
- 13:38Speaker 2: He'll be okay. He's got nothing to lose. And he's
- 13:43Speaker 2: going to make this grand spectacle of it all. which
- 13:46Speaker 2: I personally think he's not a great human being at all,
- 13:50Speaker 2: but I've argued, I will argue to death that he's
- 13:53Speaker 2: probably a football savant. The guy obviously is one of
- 13:56Speaker 2: the greatest game callers in the game today. And as
- 13:59Speaker 2: far as a coach, I don't know, but he can
- 14:01Speaker 2: sure put a program together. Yeah. But I think that
- 14:05Speaker 2: I think what could be lost is much more lopsided
- 14:11Speaker 2: against Ole Miss. No.
- 14:14Speaker 4: And look, I've said this before, um, If Ole Miss
- 14:17Speaker 4: takes the L Saturday, regardless of what happens, but if
- 14:22Speaker 4: they take the L, they've got to wake up and
- 14:24Speaker 4: get ready to go to Florida on Sunday. Like, start
- 14:26Speaker 4: getting ready. You know, game prep, film study, all that stuff.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Will they be energized enough to go to Florida, or
- 14:32Speaker 4: will this game beat them twice? Because they put so
- 14:35Speaker 4: much into this weekend.
- 14:38Speaker 2: They've got everything they've got into this weekend. Yeah.
- 14:41Speaker 4: No, so, I mean, if they win it, then, you know,
- 14:44Speaker 4: that's great. And then, you know, do they get ready
- 14:46Speaker 4: for Florida? But if they lose, will LSU beat them twice,
- 14:49Speaker 4: meaning next week as well?
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah. My fear is this. I mean, and I'm not
- 14:55Speaker 2: going to say who I hope wins or anything like that.
- 14:59Speaker 2: There's no point in that. My fear is the letdown,
- 15:03Speaker 2: you know, because you get these hyperbolic games that, I mean,
- 15:06Speaker 2: it's all you're hearing about. You've got– reporters asking Ole
- 15:10Speaker 2: Miss players if LSU tried to get them to come
- 15:13Speaker 2: in the portal, do they regret not going or staying
- 15:16Speaker 2: or whatever. Leave all the garbage, the absolute media sensationalizing
- 15:22Speaker 2: of this thing. Whenever we see that in the past,
- 15:26Speaker 2: we usually see pretty cruddy ballgame.
- 15:30Speaker 3: No, you're right.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Now, hopefully it'll live up. And, I mean, it would
- 15:35Speaker 2: be the odd outlier if it does. And I hope
- 15:39Speaker 2: it does, because I'd love to see a great football game.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I think it'd be awesome for those two to just
- 15:44Speaker 2: go at it and beat the heck out of each
- 15:46Speaker 2: other all freaking night long. But I don't think that's
- 15:50Speaker 2: going to happen. History has proven against it. You know,
- 15:56Speaker 2: I really don't know if one of the two teams
- 15:59Speaker 2: is prepared for what's going to happen. And that'd be
- 16:03Speaker 2: really interesting to see the result of it. But I
- 16:05Speaker 2: don't think it's going to be quite the game people
- 16:07Speaker 2: are hoping it's going to be. And I'm one of
- 16:09Speaker 2: the people hoping it's going to be.
- 16:11Speaker 3: No, I am too. I hope we get a four
- 16:13Speaker 3: quarter ball game and it comes down to the end.
- 16:15Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, that'd be, that'd be fun to watch. That'd be
- 16:18Speaker 2: fun to watch. I do peer in on your periscopes,
- 16:21Speaker 2: your hair scopes. I just don't say anything. I'm sneaky
- 16:25Speaker 2: like a ninja nowadays. I don't ever call you anymore either.
- 16:29Speaker 3: That's all right. Pick the phone up every now and then.
- 16:31Speaker 3: It's good to hear your voice.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Still around.
- 16:33Speaker 3: My man. See ya.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Peace.
- 16:36Speaker 3: He's looking.
- 16:39Speaker 6: Yeah, Real C just, look, man. Real C just got
- 16:43Speaker 6: real space ghosty creepy.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Yes, he did.
- 16:46Speaker 6: I mean, he said he's just sitting there lying in wait.
- 16:51Speaker 6: Real C doesn't sleep. He waits.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:53Speaker 6: But he went real deep with that voice. I'm not really,
- 16:57Speaker 6: I don't say anything.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:00Speaker 6: Just hanging out watching.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 17:02Speaker 6: What just happened here?
- 17:03Speaker 3: I don't know. Space Coast does that. He'll sneak up
- 17:06Speaker 3: on you. He will. You got to watch out for him. Yeah, look,
- 17:11Speaker 3: we're making a lot about....
- 17:14Speaker 4: White Denzel said, you know, talking about this Ole Miss secondary.
- 17:17Speaker 4: Clemson is not any... You realize Clemson beat Georgia Southern
- 17:20Speaker 4: over the weekend 22-7?
- 17:23Speaker 3: Georgia Southern. By the way, do you have Disney Plus
- 17:27Speaker 3: or Hulu?
- 17:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Are you watching this Chad Powers thing?
- 17:30Speaker 6: No, I haven't. I haven't gotten into that.
- 17:34Speaker 4: My wife got me to dip off into this. It's actually, man,
- 17:39Speaker 4: the star power in this thing is huge. From Herbstreet, Corso,
- 17:44Speaker 4: I mean, all the SEC Network guys. Eli Manning's got
- 17:48Speaker 4: a cameo in it.
- 17:50Speaker 3: It's not bad. It's pretty funny.
- 17:52Speaker 4: I think I'm three or four episodes into this thing.
- 17:54Speaker 4: I didn't think I would like it, but it's pretty comical.
- 17:57Speaker 4: And it's got a football. Obviously, it's football-driven, so you
- 17:59Speaker 4: might want to check it out.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Okay. It's neat, but in a good neat.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Neat.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Let's see.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Yeah, let's not pretend that LSU just beat Clemson of 2018. So,
- 18:10Speaker 4: you know, we'll see.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Ready, Teddy. I love this bet.
- 18:17Speaker 4: And he sends a snapshot of the bet builder, and
- 18:20Speaker 4: he's got $ 100 to win $ 215. He's taken Ole Miss
- 18:25Speaker 4: to cover minus four.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Check that. Potential payout, $ 315. On the bet. Look, it's
- 18:34Speaker 3: a good bet. It's a good bet.
- 18:35Speaker 4: I had somebody ask me about moving LSU to minus
- 18:39Speaker 4: five today. I think that's a good bet. I mean, again,
- 18:42Speaker 4: I think Ole Miss wins the football game for two reasons.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Home field advantage, Trinidad-Chambers. Possibly Nick Joe. All these new
- 18:48Speaker 4: texters today, they can text when the subject is laid
- 18:52Speaker 4: out on a platter, easy like Ole Miss versus LSU.
- 18:55Speaker 4: They will disappear next week because they can't handle a
- 18:58Speaker 4: directional school week. Joe's saying, hey, look, The traditional Texters
- 19:03Speaker 4: put the work in every week.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Show up to work every week is what he's saying.
- 19:07Speaker 6: Yeah, Joe's very territorial over the Tex line.
- 19:10Speaker 3: He is.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Miko, Lacey has a knee issue that they're being quiet
- 19:15Speaker 4: about with. I think LSU stomps a mud hole in
- 19:18Speaker 4: Ole Miss, 42-17.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Wow. LSU, 42-17.
- 19:22Speaker 4: So we've had a couple scores given on this game,
- 19:25Speaker 4: and it lopsided in favor of LSU.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Jason in Flagstaff, man, all I'm going to say is this.
- 19:31Speaker 4: If Ole Miss girls are like they were when I
- 19:34Speaker 4: was that age and used to go to Oxford in
- 19:36Speaker 4: my Army uniform, the horsemen are going to need their
- 19:40Speaker 4: own horsemen.
- 19:41Speaker 3: There's that.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Pug, something to think about. What non-Power Force schools could
- 19:48Speaker 4: beat Clemson today? My nine-year-old says that Montana State would
- 19:53Speaker 4: beat them easily. Clemson ain't what they were a decade ago,
- 19:56Speaker 4: that's for sure. Look, your nine-year-old may be right, Pug.
- 20:00Speaker 4: I mean, Clemson is not good. So let's not pretend
- 20:03Speaker 4: LSU that we saw in week one, and look, that's
- 20:06Speaker 4: a good LSU football team you're going to see Saturday
- 20:08Speaker 4: in Oxford. But that's not a good Clemson team they beat.
- 20:12Speaker 3: That's not.
- 20:12Speaker 4: And I know LSU was disinterested and checked out against
- 20:15Speaker 4: Louisiana Tech, but Sam Levitt didn't look his best either.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Got another prediction here, unnamed texter, LSU 48, Ole Miss 17.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Lane Kiffin knowledge of Trinidad tendencies, likes, dislikes, and subtle
- 20:29Speaker 4: faults will be the difference. He knows the kid better
- 20:31Speaker 4: than the folks want to admit. It will not be close.
- 20:35Speaker 4: There is that angle. How much stock do you put
- 20:38Speaker 4: into– Lane Kiffin knowing Trinidad Chambliss. But let me flip
- 20:46Speaker 4: the coin. How much stock do we put into Pete
- 20:49Speaker 4: Golding knowing Lane Kiffin? I mean, that works both ways.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Because don't think for a minute Pete Golding has probably,
- 20:58Speaker 4: who already knows Lane Kiffin, he worked with Lane Kiffin
- 21:01Speaker 4: for years, has broken down film of Lane Kiffin.
- 21:04Speaker 3: He knows his tendencies. He knows what he likes to do.
- 21:07Speaker 4: He knows what he likes to do as far as
- 21:09Speaker 4: play calling, especially when you start talking about scripted plays
- 21:11Speaker 4: and coming out the gate. So, yeah, it's going to
- 21:14Speaker 4: be a heck of a chess match between the headset
- 21:16Speaker 4: for sure.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Rebel Greg.
- 21:20Speaker 4: What would Lane's record be if we didn't have NIL
- 21:23Speaker 4: and the Grove Collective? The Grove Collective went and got
- 21:27Speaker 4: the players and signed them. People outside of Ole Miss
- 21:29Speaker 4: don't want to admit this. Saying this is Lane's team,
- 21:32Speaker 4: Ole Miss, is just a loser's excuse.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Well.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Some of this is Lane's team, and then some of
- 21:39Speaker 4: it is Pete Golding's team. And yes, we will never
- 21:42Speaker 4: know what Lane's record will be outside of NIL and
- 21:46Speaker 4: the Grove Collective. Now, I will say this. When he
- 21:47Speaker 4: was at FAU, totally different animal, he was good. That's
- 21:50Speaker 4: the reason he got the Ole Miss job. Comes from Alabama,
- 21:54Speaker 4: coached well at Alabama, as an assistant under Saban, rehabilitates
- 21:58Speaker 4: himself there, goes on and gets the FAU job, does
- 22:01Speaker 4: well there.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Ole Miss gives him the contract. We got more. Shoot
- 22:04Speaker 3: us a text.

- 23:19Speaker 4: We're brought to you by our friends at Clinton Body Shop, 601-924-2159,

- 23:31Speaker 4: It's about your family's safety and your car's value at
- 23:33Speaker 4: Clinton Body Shop. Let's see here. I just ran a
- 23:40Speaker 4: Monte Carlo simulation. That's a 10,000 iteration model on this game.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Don't you like that name, Monte Carlo? And it gives
- 23:50Speaker 4: LSU a 58.7% chance to win and Ole Miss a 41.3%
- 23:57Speaker 4: chance to win. And through 10,000 iterations in this model,
- 24:03Speaker 4: it predicts LSU will win 31-28. Which, if you go
- 24:08Speaker 4: over to ameristarcasino.com forward slash Vicksburg and you get in
- 24:12Speaker 4: on the bet builder and you look at the line, set...
- 24:18Speaker 4: for this ball game, LSU minus three. So the Monte
- 24:24Speaker 4: Carlo simulation has LSU winning by three, and the Vegas
- 24:30Speaker 4: line is at three.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I think it's going to be that kind of ball game.
- 24:34Speaker 4: I think it's a touchdown, a little less ball game.
- 24:36Speaker 4: I know a lot of you are thinking, look, it
- 24:39Speaker 4: could be a blowout.
- 24:40Speaker 3: You know, I mean, that's the thing.
- 24:42Speaker 4: If LSU punches Ole Miss in the mouth, and they
- 24:47Speaker 4: jump up, say, 14-3, does.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Ole Miss cave? I don't think so. But what does
- 24:55Speaker 3: that look like? Or if Ole Miss can get up
- 24:58Speaker 3: and stay up, what does that look like? Mr. DX,
- 25:03Speaker 3: I like Real C. He is a savant. Yes, he is.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Nick, Pete Golding has coached three games against Power 4 schools.
- 25:10Speaker 4: His defense has allowed 34 points per game in those games.
- 25:13Speaker 4: Do with that as you will, or what you will.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Yes.
- 25:21Speaker 4: If you go back, now let's be fair. Let's be
- 25:26Speaker 4: fair in this to Pete Golding and to Ole Miss.
- 25:32Speaker 3: They gave up nine points, which is not a power
- 25:36Speaker 3: four game, against Charlotte. They gave up 38 against Louisville.
- 25:43Speaker 3: That's a nine-win, back-to-back, nine-win team against Louisville and the ACC.
- 25:49Speaker 3: They gave up 31 to Miami. That's a national runner-up.
- 25:53Speaker 3: And they gave up 34 to Georgia, who won the SEC.
- 25:57Speaker 3: So you're talking about Georgia, Miami, Louisville. Three really good teams.
- 26:04Speaker 3: If you use Nick's.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Data set here, we'll call it that, of a three-game
- 26:10Speaker 4: window for Pete Golding. And look, let's go back even
- 26:17Speaker 4: further than that. Let's go back prior. The Tulane game,
- 26:20Speaker 4: which was a group or six game last year, Golding's
- 26:23Speaker 4: defense gave up 10. Against Mississippi State, they gave up 19.
- 26:26Speaker 4: That's a power four program. Against Florida, they gave up 24.
- 26:29Speaker 4: Against South Carolina, they gave up 14. Oklahoma, 26.
- 26:32Speaker 3: So that means Ole Miss is going to have to
- 26:34Speaker 3: score in the high 30s to win this game. And
- 26:36Speaker 3: it could be.
- 26:37Speaker 4: It could be a 38-31 type ball game. Glenn on
- 26:43Speaker 4: the text line. Jake, not sure if anyone has mentioned it.
- 26:46Speaker 4: But Holly Roe is the person that got ESPN announcer
- 26:49Speaker 4: and Ole Miss alum Ron Franklin fired. Oh, no.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Is that right? Is she the one that got Ron
- 26:55Speaker 3: Franklin fired?
- 26:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:56Speaker 6: So I totally forgot about this. So apparently the incident
- 27:05Speaker 6: with– incident. Incident, hard air quotes. The thing with Holly Roe. 2005,
- 27:13Speaker 6: because I vaguely remember that, but God, I can't believe
- 27:17Speaker 6: that was 21 years ago. But he didn't get fired
- 27:21Speaker 6: until he made a whole different remark to a different
- 27:25Speaker 6: female who he worked with in 2011. So there was
- 27:32Speaker 6: an incident with Holly Roe, but that apparently wasn't the
- 27:35Speaker 6: last straw.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Do you remember what he said to Holly Roe?
- 27:38Speaker 6: He called her sweetheart. On the air? I can't remember
- 27:41Speaker 6: what the conversation was. But yeah, he dropped a sweetheart.
- 27:46Speaker 3: She got offended.
- 27:48Speaker 4: So, you know, and I thought Ron Franklin, I've said this,
- 27:51Speaker 4: one of my favorite announcers of all time. I mean,
- 27:54Speaker 4: Ron Franklin was SEC football at night on ESPN for
- 27:57Speaker 4: a long time. That deep, baritone voice, just delivery was great.
- 28:03Speaker 4: He just, he was great. Yeah, he says, quote, Holly,
- 28:07Speaker 4: it's not giving up. It was during a Notre Dame-Purdue ballgame.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Holly Rowe praised Purdue defensive coordinator Brock Spack for still
- 28:18Speaker 4: using timeouts and coaching his defense while down big. Rowe
- 28:22Speaker 4: said something like, if the coaches give up, what does
- 28:25Speaker 4: that say about the players? Ron Franklin answered, Holly, it's
- 28:28Speaker 4: not giving up. It's 49-21, sweetheart. And she lost her
- 28:33Speaker 4: mind over it. That was mark one, and then it
- 28:37Speaker 4: was somebody else that got him ultimately canned for a
- 28:39Speaker 4: similar comment, wasn't it?
- 28:42Speaker 3: Something like that. So, good recall there, Glenn.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Ellis.
- 28:48Speaker 4: Lane is about to find out why they never scheduled
- 28:50Speaker 4: meaningful night games at the vault.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Mr.
- 28:54Speaker 3: DX. Can you run MSU versus South Carolina? Yes.
- 28:57Speaker 4: I'll do that here in just a second. I'll run
- 29:00Speaker 4: the Monte Carlo simulation on Mississippi State, South Carolina.
- 29:04Speaker 3: J-Rock. So, hang around, DX. That may be next segment,
- 29:07Speaker 3: but I'll do that during the break. J-Rock.
- 29:10Speaker 4: I think the teams are pretty close, but I always
- 29:12Speaker 4: take the better quarterback when that's the case and that's Trinidad.
- 29:16Speaker 4: I'm with J-Rock on this. That's why I'm riding with
- 29:21Speaker 4: Ole Miss on this game because of Trinidad Chambliss. And
- 29:25Speaker 4: I think he is a better performer week in and
- 29:28Speaker 4: week out. He's more consistent than his counterpart, Nick. If
- 29:33Speaker 4: LSU is who we think they are, then they are
- 29:37Speaker 4: comparable to those same three teams. Nick talking about Georgia, Miami,
- 29:43Speaker 4: and Louisville. Look, I think LSU is a good football team.
- 29:45Speaker 4: I think they're a college football playoff caliber team. I
- 29:49Speaker 4: don't think that they're unbeatable, though, and I don't see
- 29:52Speaker 4: them doing what they did to Clemson.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Maybe I'm wrong.
- 29:56Speaker 4: Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they go in there and wear
- 29:58Speaker 4: Ole Miss out. Is there any case, though, that Ole
- 30:01Speaker 4: Miss wears them out? We've had a lot of predictions
- 30:04Speaker 4: today for LSU to wear Ole Miss out, but a
- 30:08Speaker 4: case where Ole Miss flips that and then they just
- 30:13Speaker 4: score a touchdown, they take the ball open and drive,
- 30:15Speaker 4: they go down their score.
- 30:17Speaker 3: They pick Leavitt off, short field, score. Fumble on the
- 30:22Speaker 3: next play, Ole Miss scores. 21-0 Rebels. I don't know.
- 30:27Speaker 3: I didn't think we'd see Texas... Do what they did
- 30:30Speaker 3: the other night. I mean, Texas was in a hole,
- 30:33Speaker 3: in a big hole. You said you didn't watch for
- 30:36Speaker 3: the last three minutes? I mean, literally first play of
- 30:39Speaker 3: the game. Swing pass to the run back out of
- 30:40Speaker 3: the backfield. Wide receiver misses a block. DB comes up.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Boom.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Hits him. Ball comes out. Great play by the DB.
- 30:46Speaker 3: A couple series later, throw the deep ball. It's a catch. Nope.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Ball comes out of his hands. Up in the air.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Picked off by Ohio State. They go down the score.
- 30:55Speaker 4: They're up 14-0 or whatever it was. So you just
- 30:58Speaker 4: don't know.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Ugly mustard.
- 31:01Speaker 4: LSU will give Ole Miss at least one loss, if
- 31:05Speaker 4: not this week, the next. So, yeah, that's back to
- 31:08Speaker 4: that whole Florida thing. And DX says thanks. Yes, I'm
- 31:10Speaker 4: going to get that right now. We're brought to you
- 31:12Speaker 4: by Mississippi Blood Services. Go to msblood.com.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Call 601-368-2673. I'm going to run this simulation just like
- 31:18Speaker 3: I did Ole Miss.
- 31:19Speaker 4: It's Monte Carlo simulation on State, and South Carolina will
- 31:22Speaker 4: come back with that and more back in a bit.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Do you stay up at night thinking about the lack
- 31:26Speaker 1: of push from your team's offensive line? Do you spill
- 31:28Speaker 1: your Dr. Pepper arguing with your TV because pundits are
- 31:32Speaker 1: torching your defense?
- 31:33Speaker 3: You're not crazy.
- 31:34Speaker 1: You're a fan. And no college football fan can fan
- 31:37Speaker 1: to their fullest without the bold, one-of-a-kind taste of Dr.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Pepper.
- 31:40Speaker 1: It won't fix any of the problems we previously.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Stated, but it's delicious.
- 31:44Speaker 1: And drinking it at a tailgate will make you look
- 31:46Speaker 1: like a ball knower, which is a great consolation prize
- 31:49Speaker 1: for the lack of push your offensive line gets.
- 31:52Speaker 3: College football.
- 31:53Speaker 1: It's a Pepper thing.
- 31:54Speaker 4: It's time to get back in the game with Jake
- 31:56Speaker 4: Wimberly and the Afternoon Drive.
- 31:58Speaker 3: That's entertaining.
- 31:59Speaker 1: On the station that specializes in the Mississippi sports you love.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Now we're talking.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Live and local on ESPN 105.9 The Zone.
- 32:05Speaker 1: And online at TheZone1059. com.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Final segment on a Tuesday.
- 32:26Speaker 4: I want to say thanks to Michael Katz coming in
- 32:28Speaker 4: at 3.30, talking Ole Miss football, and Ben Troop coming
- 32:31Speaker 4: in at 4.30, talking Florida Gator, Auburn Tiger football into
- 32:35Speaker 4: the SEC. We'll be back tomorrow for two hours. We'll
- 32:38Speaker 4: be over at Poncho's Coutinho Grill. We've got a coach's
- 32:40Speaker 4: show tomorrow afternoon. We'll have Heinz football on Thursday down
- 32:44Speaker 4: at Southwest, and, of course, a high school football Friday.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Lots more on everything going on a busy, busy week
- 32:50Speaker 4: inside this state. And so we appreciate our guests joining us.
- 32:53Speaker 4: So I ran a Monte Carlo 10,000 iteration model on
- 32:57Speaker 4: Mississippi State and South Carolina during the break. South Carolina 61.5%
- 33:02Speaker 4: chance to win, Mississippi State 38.5%. The collective score output,
- 33:08Speaker 4: the cluster, South Carolina 32, Mississippi State 27. But now
- 33:11Speaker 4: there is a nugget in here that Kamario Taylor is
- 33:15Speaker 4: going to give Mississippi State a chance to win this ballgame.
- 33:18Speaker 4: So I do think, and if you look at Vegas' line,
- 33:20Speaker 4: that's a, Five-point ballgame, Vegas is three and a half.
- 33:25Speaker 4: You know, State, if they can put the clamps on
- 33:29Speaker 4: Lenore Sellers, then, and we'll say, and likely the other
- 33:33Speaker 4: way too, I mean, South Carolina is going to try
- 33:37Speaker 4: to disrupt and, you know, confuse Kamario Taylor. So I
- 33:40Speaker 4: think it's a great matchup, State-South Carolina. I think that's
- 33:42Speaker 4: a four-quarter ballgame. I think Ole Miss-LSU personally is a
- 33:46Speaker 4: four-quarter ballgame. I don't see them being a blowout, but
- 33:48Speaker 4: a lot of people think this LSU team is going
- 33:50Speaker 4: to come in here and blow Ole Miss out. Bama Bulldog.
- 33:53Speaker 4: Retention of players since NIL. The team that retains the
- 33:57Speaker 4: most experience team usually wins, not better athletes. Just asking
- 34:02Speaker 4: an obvious question. How many dudes that have been together
- 34:06Speaker 4: for three to four years together or three to four
- 34:08Speaker 4: years together has to make a huge difference? If they're
- 34:11Speaker 4: friends on top of being good athletes, the teams that
- 34:14Speaker 4: stay together win together. Retention is all I'm saying. They
- 34:18Speaker 4: just play better together in the NIL era.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Of course. Absolutely.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 34:23Speaker 4: And if you're going to go that direction, it's Ole
- 34:24Speaker 4: Miss in this game. Just because you've got players that
- 34:27Speaker 4: have played together.
- 34:31Speaker 3: And that is true. I mean, look at Kurt Cignetti
- 34:34Speaker 3: at Indiana. This doesn't get brought up enough.
- 34:37Speaker 4: When he came over from James Madison, JMU, he brought
- 34:41Speaker 4: two handfuls of players that have played there together.
- 34:44Speaker 3: They come over.
- 34:45Speaker 4: They play a couple years together. And essentially, you've got
- 34:48Speaker 4: a group of guys that were there three years together,
- 34:50Speaker 4: some of them four. You could look at several other,
- 34:54Speaker 4: but that's what you're seeing at Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, Oregon,
- 35:02Speaker 4: even though they were in the crapper this weekend, is
- 35:05Speaker 4: they're going out and subsidizing their high school talent, keeping
- 35:10Speaker 4: them there, letting some guys go, bringing some guys in
- 35:14Speaker 4: the transfer portal, but the majority of their money is
- 35:17Speaker 4: to retain players, to develop and have is, you know,
- 35:22Speaker 4: develop that chemistry just to what Bama.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Bulldog is saying. So, all right, let me see if
- 35:28Speaker 3: we've got some other notes in here. I think I
- 35:29Speaker 3: do have a stack of notes. We just haven't had
- 35:31Speaker 3: a chance to get to them. Beavis kept us on
- 35:33Speaker 3: this Lane Kiffin thing all day. Let's see. And the
- 35:36Speaker 3: Holly Rowe thing.
- 35:38Speaker 4: All right, 14 million viewers tuned in to ABC for
- 35:41Speaker 4: the Ohio State-Texas game over the weekend. Most watched regular
- 35:44Speaker 4: season game in 10 years. You think Ole Miss-LSU clips that?
- 35:48Speaker 1: $ 10 million on the.
- 35:52Speaker 4: I think it's going to be real close. Yeah, on
- 35:54Speaker 4: the television set this weekend. Alabama, Kentucky had a $ 7. 3
- 35:58Speaker 4: million at the highest peak. Arizona State, Texas A & M, $ 2. 5 million. Oregon,
- 36:03Speaker 4: Oklahoma State, $ 2. 1 million. Tennessee, Georgia Tech, $ 1. 8 million. Also,
- 36:10Speaker 4: let's see. We told you about Lane Kiffin and the
- 36:11Speaker 4: Four Horsemen. Florida State's firing of Athletics Director Michael Alford
- 36:16Speaker 4: may be the start of a major athletic overhaul, reports
- 36:19Speaker 4: Sports Business Journal. FSU is considering a more revenue-focused structure,
- 36:23Speaker 4: potentially with two leaders instead of a traditional athletics director.
- 36:27Speaker 4: Football struggles play a major role in this. We've already
- 36:30Speaker 4: seen BYU take this step where they rip the football
- 36:32Speaker 4: program out of the hands of the athletics director. They
- 36:35Speaker 4: report directly to the school. So Florida State looks like
- 36:39Speaker 4: they're changing some things over too. And tomorrow we'll get
- 36:42Speaker 4: into this. I didn't get a chance to do this.
- 36:44Speaker 4: Sports Business Journal put out a piece, how much is
- 36:46Speaker 4: an NFL team really worth? It says, depends on who
- 36:48Speaker 4: you ask. Four major valuation firms disagree by 10% or
- 36:53Speaker 4: more on 25 of the 32 NFL franchises, highlighting just
- 36:56Speaker 4: how difficult it is to put a price tag on
- 36:58Speaker 4: a pro football franchise. And just for a little snippet
- 37:02Speaker 4: of this, the collective valuation, for instance, of the Cowboys,
- 37:10Speaker 4: which is still the most valued team in the NFL,
- 37:12Speaker 4: almost $ 16 billion. Way more than what we've heard. The Rams,
- 37:18Speaker 4: second on that list, $ 13. 06 billion with a B. All right,
- 37:23Speaker 4: let's see here before I move on. Also, a minority
- 37:27Speaker 4: investor in the Braves, we're talking Atlanta Braves baseball real quick,
- 37:30Speaker 4: has sent a letter to the team's board urging it
- 37:32Speaker 4: to sell the franchise. Citing record-setting franchise prices and uncertainty
- 37:37Speaker 4: around the upcoming lockout that's probably going to happen, the
- 37:40Speaker 4: Braves were most recently valued at $ 3. 35 billion by Forbes,
- 37:45Speaker 4: seventh among MLB franchises. So will we see a sell-off
- 37:50Speaker 4: of the Atlanta Braves? And if you're a Delaware football fan,
- 37:55Speaker 4: we could get you this T-shirt and rip the arms
- 37:57Speaker 4: out of it. Delaware is taking on Coastal Carolina.
- 38:03Speaker 3: Carolina. Yes, I said Carolina. What are they, the Chanteliers? Chanticleers.
- 38:10Speaker 3: So they're taking them on this weekend.
- 38:12Speaker 4: And Saturday, the back of this t-shirt, Saturday, September 19th,
- 38:16Speaker 4: 11 a.m., 1130 a.m., one day only, the cock fit
- 38:20Speaker 4: in the tub.
- 38:22Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 38:24Speaker 4: The cock fight in the tub. They're both chickens and roosters.
- 38:29Speaker 4: So you want one of these shirts? Delaware State?
- 38:32Speaker 6: In the tub. Is there a picture?
- 38:34Speaker 1: I mean, no.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Yes. It's just what it says.
- 38:37Speaker 6: What are we talking about, a tub?
- 38:38Speaker 3: I guess they're calling their football field the tub, maybe.
- 38:41Speaker 6: Okay, I didn't know.
- 38:42Speaker 3: I don't know anything about there. Yeah. Cockfight in the tub. Nah,
- 38:46Speaker 3: I'll pass. So no Delaware State swag. We'll pass on that.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Let's see here. Unnamed texture. Tommy Bibbs. Is there any?
- 39:01Speaker 4: Who's Tommy Bibbs to watch the state game over again?
- 39:04Speaker 4: I would say I'm not.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Who's Tommy?
- 39:08Speaker 6: I think that's the texter.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Oh, sorry.
- 39:12Speaker 4: Is there any way to watch the State game ever again?
- 39:13Speaker 4: I would assume you could go to YouTube. Don't those
- 39:17Speaker 4: games normally get uploaded to YouTube? Somebody's going to post
- 39:19Speaker 4: it up there?
- 39:20Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 39:20Speaker 6: I'm sure it's there.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:21Speaker 4: I'd try YouTube if you want to go try to
- 39:23Speaker 4: watch State versus Minnesota. It's probably out there. If not,
- 39:27Speaker 4: you'll get a ton of highlights. A lot of highlights. Also,
- 39:30Speaker 4: speaking of Mississippi State, they put this out on their
- 39:33Speaker 4: football X-Feed today. National Player of the Week, Kamario Taylor.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Kamario Taylor.
- 39:40Speaker 3: The sky's the limit for this young man.
- 39:42Speaker 4: Again, Mississippi State has not seen a talent like this
- 39:45Speaker 4: since Nick Fitzgerald or Dak Prescott at quarterback. There's been
- 39:48Speaker 4: some good ones. Will Rogers was a good quarterback. I
- 39:50Speaker 4: don't care what any of y'all say. But when you
- 39:52Speaker 4: talk about iconic move-the-needle guys, Kamario Taylor, first one since Prescott,
- 39:59Speaker 4: and Nick Fitzgerald. And I'm sure, look, as he goes
- 40:02Speaker 4: up in stardom, if he continues to go up, will
- 40:07Speaker 4: Mississippi State fans fight each other over who's better, Kamario
- 40:10Speaker 4: Taylor or Dak Prescott?
- 40:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:14Speaker 6: They will. Someone already said it the other day. Texted
- 40:18Speaker 6: in to Matt.
- 40:19Speaker 3: I think it was Nick.
- 40:23Speaker 6: Already talking after two weeks. I hate to say this, Matt,
- 40:27Speaker 6: but he's better than 15.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Uh-oh.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Yeah, it's already started.
- 40:32Speaker 4: Well, you know, I almost got fired over Brandon a
- 40:33Speaker 4: couple years ago for making a similar comparison at the
- 40:36Speaker 4: high school level.
- 40:36Speaker 6: What'd you do?
- 40:37Speaker 3: I made the comparison.
- 40:38Speaker 4: I said, you know, I think Tyson Robinson's probably a
- 40:40Speaker 4: better high school back than Jarius Norwood was. And son,
- 40:43Speaker 4: you would have thought I cussed the city of Brandon
- 40:45Speaker 4: and loved Jarius Norwood. He was iconic at Brandon, but
- 40:48Speaker 4: it was two totally different eras.
- 40:49Speaker 3: And I was talking about the overall package of what
- 40:53Speaker 3: Tyson Robinson, who's headed to Michigan, has to offer. I
- 40:56Speaker 3: literally thought I was going to get run out of
- 40:58Speaker 3: there for saying that. Like, you can't say stuff like that.
- 41:01Speaker 3: What are you talking about? Like, so, well, that happened
- 41:04Speaker 3: in Starkville.
- 41:05Speaker 4: If Kamario Taylor starts getting more run than 15 does.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:10Speaker 6: Some people will want to fight you.
- 41:12Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no doubt. Ugly Mustard. Would be a one-sided fight.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Delaware is the Blue Hens. There you go.
- 41:21Speaker 4: And let's see. Did we miss anything? We got any
- 41:23Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers news today? Have they manifested anything this week?
- 41:28Speaker 2: No.
- 41:29Speaker 6: Nothing from Aaron Rodgers except talking about his old fiancés.
- 41:37Speaker 6: Nothing on-field-wise, though.
- 41:39Speaker 4: So there's a new AI photo of Holly Rhodes, Steve Sarkeesian,
- 41:43Speaker 4: kissing it.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Kissing during that time. That's out there. See, it is
- 41:49Speaker 3: also pointless.
- 41:50Speaker 2: AI.
- 41:51Speaker 6: Why does it exist?
- 41:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:53Speaker 4: I don't think Arch Manning has anything to worry about
- 41:57Speaker 4: on losing any of his deals, does he?
- 42:00Speaker 6: No, I don't think so.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Okay, let's see here. And don't we have a Thursday night?
- 42:07Speaker 3: Who's playing in the NFL this week? Thursday night. Is
- 42:10Speaker 3: there a Thursday night game?
- 42:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:12Speaker 6: Oh, it's going to be a good one. Lions-Bills, and
- 42:14Speaker 6: it's the first game at the Bills' new stadium.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Ooh, yeah.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Buffalo, a four-and-a-half-point favorite. Thursday night football, 7-15. That's going
- 42:23Speaker 4: to be a total of 53. Yeah, that should be
- 42:25Speaker 4: a really good game. Really good game. And the Saints
- 42:28Speaker 4: travel to Baltimore. They're an eight-point dog. They're going to
- 42:31Speaker 4: quickly be 0-2, aren't they?
- 42:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so. Yep, who dat? Quickly 0-2. And
- 42:36Speaker 3: just kind of looking through some of these.
- 42:37Speaker 4: My Miami Dolphins travel to your San Francisco 49ers, 13-and-a-half.
- 42:43Speaker 4: That might as well be 25 in the college ranks.
- 42:45Speaker 4: That's a big NFL line, 13-and-a-half. Yeah, San Francisco will
- 42:48Speaker 4: do with them as they wish. And will the Cowboys
- 42:50Speaker 4: go 0-2? They are a small three-and-a-half point favorite against
- 42:54Speaker 4: the Commanders this weekend.
- 42:57Speaker 6: Commanders, I was surprised the way they hung in with
- 43:00Speaker 6: the Eagles the other day, but I rarely have faith
- 43:05Speaker 6: in the Commanders to do anything. I've downright lost a
- 43:09Speaker 6: lot of faith in Jayden Daniels. So I think the
- 43:12Speaker 6: Cowboys will win.
- 43:14Speaker 3: DX says he bet Pearl wouldn't treat me that way.
- 43:17Speaker 3: What do you think? What way?
- 43:19Speaker 4: The way people wanted to throw me out of there
- 43:21Speaker 4: a few years ago, making that Tyson Robinson better than
- 43:25Speaker 4: Jarius Norwood come in.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 43:27Speaker 6: But wait, DX, why did you spell it with a U?
- 43:31Speaker 3: Oh, he did.
- 43:32Speaker 6: It sounded positive, but then I saw you spell Pearl
- 43:34Speaker 6: with a U.
- 43:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:36Speaker 6: So you went negative.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Somebody says the Giants got 28 yards and a TD
- 43:41Speaker 4: running the same play four times in a row.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Yes, they did.
- 43:44Speaker 4: Hey, thanks to Michael Katz. Thanks to Ben Troop. You
- 43:46Speaker 4: guys have been awesome today. We'll get back into it tomorrow. Remember,
- 43:49Speaker 4: ketchup is king. Bacon's a delicacy. Aloha means goodbye. Be
- 43:51Speaker 4: a man of increase. We have reached the crescendo on
- 43:54Speaker 4: a Tuesday.
- 43:54Speaker 3: See you tomorrow.
