  Speaker 1: and foremost, let's get into prayer, Lord Father the arts

  Speaker 1: in heaven. I come to you in prayer to be

  Speaker 1: able to ask the Holy Spirit, to be able to
• 0:52
  Speaker 1: speak through this mic, and be able to reach through

  Speaker 1: the listeners ears and into their hearts and into their minds,

  Speaker 1: and be able to apply these versus to their lives.

  Speaker 1: And the lords just descrising my pray. Amen. So that

  Speaker 1: can also just listen. Proverbs Chapter twenty two states verse one,

  Speaker 1: it is better to receive honor from people then to

  Speaker 1: be very rich. If people respect you, that is better
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: than silver or gold. See, there's so many people that
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: are rich that are feared, that are intimidating to approach.

  Speaker 1: And there's reasons why a lot of rich people are
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: lonely and they deal with depression because they have to
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: put on this man as they have to continue to
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: carry this intimidation factor everywhere they go. Verse two. This
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: is true about rich people and poor people. The Lord
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: created them all. See it. There's scum in each financial statue.

  Speaker 1: Does not matter if you're poor, does not matter really
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: if you are rich. This is saying if you love
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: more money than you do God. When we're talking about
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: verse one, verse two is we can all be financially

  Speaker 1: fit and still be following Christ. Stay men, because he

  Speaker 1: doesn't want us to be in poverty. He doesn't want
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: us to be in hell, so to speak, because there's
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: different versions of hell. So when we're getting into verse three,

  Speaker 1: a careful person can see danger and he will hide himself.
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: But a silly person never stops, and he walks into trouble. So, okay,

  Speaker 1: a procedure done to check an infection with my mom.

  Speaker 1: Prayers needed, please, Mary Belcher is her name. Verse three.

  Speaker 1: A careful person can see danger. We've already stated that,

  Speaker 1: So let's get into four because I was already kind
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: of stating before I got distracted, which there's always a
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: distraction when you're following Christ. More than people know, you
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: should be humble. You should respect and obey the Lord.
• 4:06
  Speaker 1: Then you will receive richest honor in a long life.
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: Being humble is one of the most unique qualities to have,
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: and I, at first, as a believer, was not humble
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: necessarily I had to become humbled, duh, And life humbled me,
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: and God let a lot of things happen, and my
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: self destructive behaviors led me down the path of you know,
• 4:42
  Speaker 1: places I didn't necessarily need to be that wasn't pleasing God.
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: So where I'm at today is completely like night and day,
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: so let's get into it. Verse five. Wicked people go
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: through a lot of trouble, like thorn bushes and traps
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: in their way, so be careful to keep far away
• 4:59
  Speaker 1: from them. This verse in particular, not everybody is your person.
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: Not everybody is your people. This isn't written to be
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: able to be a get out of a dodge card
• 5:17
  Speaker 1: or jump ship card. It's really like you have to
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: watch these people that you so call friends, you know
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: growing up you know, and regardless, let's just keep it
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: going because this is getting deeper. Verse six. If you
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: teach children the right way to live, they will not
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: forget it when they are older. No matter how you
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: raise your kids, they're going to do what they want
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: to do anyways, but they will revert back to certain
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: traits and traditions that were placed. And I'm an indicator
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: of that because I also not only had a praying mother.
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: I had to praying grandmother. Amen. So Verse seven. Rich
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: people have authority over poor people. People who borrow money
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: have to serve those who lend it to them. Verse eight.
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: If you plant evil things, your harvest will be trouble.
• 6:11
  Speaker 1: If you are angry and you hurt people, it will
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: never help you. So being kind and being considerate and
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: being generous the cosmic energy that comes back from doing so.
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: The Lord blesses those that blesses people. And like it
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: says in verse two, right, like it's rich and poor
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: people are his people. Like, it's not all about rich
• 6:41
  Speaker 1: helping the rich poor helping the poor. The poor can
• 6:46
  Speaker 1: help the rich by showing them how to be more
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: kind and considering to be grateful for what they have.
• 6:53
  Speaker 1: We can all learn from each other, does not matter
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: the sex, the race, the financial status. I mean, I
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: can keep going. We're going to go into the verse
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: it goes a little deeper. If someone laughs at what
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: is right, send him away, then there will be no
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: more arguments. Who quells and insults Verse eleven. If you
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: live in a pure way and you speak kind words,
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: you will have the King as your friend, as your friend,
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: not only your friend, but your brother, you know, when
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: we're talking about God, Jesus in the Holy Spirit, having
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: that relationship with Jesus, being able to get connected to
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: the Father, having the Holy Spirit activated in your heart
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: and in your mind. Following Christ is God like Jesus
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: was God in the flesh, his son, and that's why
• 7:57
  Speaker 1: he was perfect. That's why nobody else before, during, or
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: after him did what he did. And that's what separates him,
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: and that's why he's the savior because he's the perfect one.
• 8:14
  Speaker 1: None of us are perfect. We all fall short of
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: God's standards. That's why we need Jesus to say amen.
• 8:18
  Speaker 1: So verse eleven, a lazy person stays in his house.
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: He says, there is a lion outside in the street.
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: If I go out, it will kill me. Fourteen we're
• 8:30
  Speaker 1: in Proverbs twenty two. Verse fourteen. The mouth of an
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: adultress is like a deep hole. If you make the
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: Lord angry, you will fall into it. And let's close
• 8:41
  Speaker 1: out with fifteen. Verse fifteen. Proverbs twenty two states children
• 8:46
  Speaker 1: love to do foolish things. To stop them, you must
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: warn them and punish them. And I'd definitely been warned,
• 8:54
  Speaker 1: and I've been punished. And as we have six minutes

  Speaker 1: I'm going off with the word and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

  Speaker 1: So we're talking about, you know, being productive not being

  Speaker 1: lazy is a word that stands out right, you know,
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: being able to not look at the people that are
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: poor or underneath you financially, educationally, looking down upon them.

  Speaker 1: God will bless you. Being humble, right Wiki, people go
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: through a lot of trouble. Trials and tribulations are going
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: to be irrelevant. But if we lean on God and

  Speaker 1: have more of his understanding, we can be able to
• 9:59
  Speaker 1: make it through. And the Lord created them all, meaning

  Speaker 1: rich people and poor people, so we all have to
• 10:05
  Speaker 1: coexist with one another whether we like it or not.

  Speaker 1: You don't have to necessarily like everybody, but you have
• 10:10
  Speaker 1: to love everybody. So with that being said, this is
• 10:15
  Speaker 1: your opportunity to be able to not only accept Lord
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, but take if
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: from somebody that believed for a long time, got baptized
• 10:23
  Speaker 1: and then now is following Christ and is in a
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: program that is doing the next right thing. Being able
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: to be consistent with showing up, being able to work
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: the program and doing God's will is my number one.

  Speaker 1: Number two is AA doing the program, going to meetings,
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: doing the steps on a daily basis. Basically right, I'm
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: not perfect at it. I'm not perfect at God's will either.

  Speaker 1: Three the relationship I have with Jennifer, it is something
• 10:57
  Speaker 1: very unique. All right, So let me get in to
• 11:00
  Speaker 1: number four. My brother taking care of him. Five, my
• 11:03
  Speaker 1: mom and I got about four more minutes. You have
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: to have priorities. You have to stay focused. If not,
• 11:09
  Speaker 1: you're going to get distracted by the outside noise. And
• 11:12
  Speaker 1: also what's in God's will is also his plans. Oh,
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: let me get a spirit. I am a walking testimony.

  Speaker 1: I used to be someone that you didn't want to
• 11:26
  Speaker 1: be around, and if you did, then you were just
• 11:29
  Speaker 1: as sick as me, and there's issues there. Living in misery,

  Speaker 1: you attract misery. Living in chaos, you attract chaos. And
• 11:40
  Speaker 1: I'm just so gracious and so grateful to be where
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: I'm at today because God's not done yet, and now
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: I'm getting into the church and being able to help
• 11:47
  Speaker 1: the prayer. I am a member of a church that

  Speaker 1: is Christ driven a mint and my sweetie says that
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: like that, you know, and my loyalty runs deep. But

  Speaker 1: at the end of the day, my love for God

  Speaker 1: is what's gonna keep not only number two, number three,

  Speaker 1: number four, number five attached in the correct way, but

  Speaker 1: it is also going to keep me on the narrow

  Speaker 1: path of following Christ and allowing the Holy Spirit to

  Speaker 1: really take over. I'm going to be able to go
