- 0:00Happy Wednesday, everybody still down here in Cabo having the
- 0:05time of our life. There are eleven of us and man,
- 0:10we all get along so good. This is our third year in a row
- 0:15bringing different friends. MM Kimberly Marie, my wife,
- 0:21she's the best at this man. She organizes it and we're so
- 0:27fortunate to have good friends. Friends are everything.
- 0:31They sure are. There is an old saying though.
- 0:35It says, where's that go? Family isn't everything.
- 0:40It's the only thing. We love our family.
- 0:44We love our family very much. However, friends are nice.
- 0:48Friends are nice. So this is our third year in a
- 0:50row where Kim has got a hold of friends and my gosh, it's been
- 0:56like 12 friends. 12 and 124848 about 60.
- 1:03We've got about 60 different friends.
- 1:06Wow, that makes me think I've never added that up.
- 1:09That's pretty cool. So far we've got 60 good
- 1:13friends. All right, That's the first time
- 1:17I've ever added that up right here in front of you all.
- 1:21OK, it's Wednesday and it's hump day.
- 1:27Herman Schrader is out this morning.
- 1:29Have you checked it out? It's it's over there on Dirty MO
- 1:32podcast. It's getting really good.
- 1:34Herman Schrader. It's it's growing and leaps and
- 1:36brown bounds. We were averaging 18 to 20,000
- 1:41viewers per week. Thank you so much.
- 1:44Who would have ever known that was all Dale Earnhardt junior
- 1:48and Mike Davis ideal. It was Dale Junior and Mike
- 1:51Davis ideal. They said, man, we want you and
- 1:53Schrader to do a show. And I'm like, why?
- 1:57They said because you are the oldies, the original guys that
- 2:00we want to hear from your point of view.
- 2:02And I said really, so very cool and it's doing good over there.
- 2:07Sponsor got a great new sponsor, Fox Factory Vehicles.
- 2:12So go over and check it out, Herman Schrader or go to FAT or
- 2:18go to foxfactoryvehicles.com and you can build your own truck.
- 2:23OK. One of those deals where I
- 2:26always say, woke up this morning, had no idea what I was
- 2:30going to say. And I got on social media and
- 2:33there it was some somebody that was very weak, some person that
- 2:40was very weak and angry. They said I work for the man and
- 2:47he will always keep you pressed down.
- 2:51Somebody said that I work for the man and he will always keep
- 2:55your press down. We have no chance to get ahead.
- 2:58And I made a simple response and it's it's it's gone big.
- 3:02And I was like, woah, woke up this morning.
- 3:05My response was this. Or you can start your own
- 3:09business and take the same chances that they do.
- 3:15Let's discuss this. OK, I understand that there's a
- 3:21larger group of people out in the world that are just pissed
- 3:24that they work for the man, right?
- 3:28Ladies are awesome too. There's ladies that own their
- 3:30own business, but when a lady owns her own business, they
- 3:35realize how hard it is and the lady becomes tough too.
- 3:39So man or woman doesn't matter. There's not very many people out
- 3:44there that have backbone and mature and know the rules.
- 3:49Now, for the most part, you're going to have people that have 0
- 3:52backbone, and I call those the mob.
- 3:56They're the ones that sit down and they're throwing darts.
- 3:59You should do this. This is what you should do.
- 4:02You're no good. In other words, it's the people
- 4:05that complain but have no solutions.
- 4:08In other words, they're not leaders.
- 4:11Let me say it again. For the most part, the mob.
- 4:15The mob are people that complain, they throw darts and
- 4:20they have no solution. They don't know what to do.
- 4:23They are not leaders, they are complainers.
- 4:28People that start businesses. You have to have a plan going in
- 4:31and you have to have a backbone. You got to be a you got to be
- 4:35tough. You got to know what's up and
- 4:38you got to know how the world works.
- 4:41To own a business, you have business taxes.
- 4:44You got to supply 4 O1 KS. You got to supply insurance.
- 4:49So if you own a business, Mark Martin said it best.
- 4:54Mark Martin said it best. I'm going to repeat what Mark
- 4:56Martin said to me one day. Does his dad, Julian Martin
- 5:00owned a trucking company. Very successful man.
- 5:03I miss Julian Martin. The great Julian Martin.
- 5:06Mark Martin's dad, JMI, JMI, See those tractor trailers go up and
- 5:12down Missouri or Arkansas, Julian Martin Incorporated.
- 5:16So Mark Martin's super smart. You know Mark, don't ever bitch,
- 5:19he's a bad ass. He said Herman, there's a cost
- 5:24to doing business. Let me explain this so the dumb
- 5:29people can understand. Take $10, sometimes it cost 7-8
- 5:35dollars to run your business and then you only got 2 or $3.00
- 5:38left. When you start a business, there
- 5:41are a lot of rules the government sets out in place.
- 5:44If you got over two people, you must supply workman's comp
- 5:48insurance and that is not cheap workman's comp.
- 5:53Then you got, you got to pay business taxes.
- 5:56You got to and the government says you need to supply a four O
- 5:591K. You need to supply insurance.
- 6:04You see that? That's a lot right there.
- 6:07The dream is to own a business, take off when you want, do what
- 6:10you want, but you're going to work twice as hard.
- 6:14Now when you become an employee, you just, you just work for
- 6:18somebody. When you work for somebody, all
- 6:21you do is go to work. Your taxes get taken out of your
- 6:25paycheck. When you get your paycheck,
- 6:27that's your paycheck. So if you receive, let's say you
- 6:31make a $52,000 a year, $1000 a week.
- 6:35Let's say you make $52,000 a year.
- 6:39When you get your paycheck, your social security's taken out and
- 6:43your employer might say, hey, I'm, I'm adding on to your 4O1K,
- 6:46but I'm not going to pay at all. I'll pay half.
- 6:49When you get your paycheck, it's clear cut.
- 6:52You get it all that's yours. So in other words, let's say you
- 6:56make $1000 a week and you end up with six, 5700, that's six 5700.
- 7:04That's all yours. Now you going to bitch that, oh,
- 7:07I had to pay in, I had to pay Social Security, I had to pay
- 7:10taxes. But the man, he's got to match
- 7:15your 4O1K and then he's got to pay, you know, taxes on running
- 7:20a business. Sometimes a business is not what
- 7:24it's wrapped up to be. Now I had a business called
- 7:29Arrowing LLC Arrowing. I am, I owned 12 rental homes
- 7:38and you got to, you got to have insurance on the homes.
- 7:43You got to put money aside for insurance for the homes even
- 7:46though people rent them. So I own 12 rental loans, but I
- 7:51had to put money aside for the taxes.
- 7:55I had to put money aside for the insurance even though the renter
- 7:59has their insurance. I have to supply insurance.
- 8:02OK, so renter destroys my SO as as the sitcom said, listen up,
- 8:09big dummies, get your together. Quit talking so stupid.
- 8:13Now, I'm I'm not chewing your ass out.
- 8:14I'm just hoping this helps some of you dumb people out there
- 8:17that go. That's why you work for somebody
- 8:23because you, you, you don't have what it takes.
- 8:26You don't. And it's OK to admit it.
- 8:29Hey, I'm not Jeff Gordon and I admit it.
- 8:32I'm not Kyle Larson, I admit it. So just admit when you're dumb
- 8:38and you can't run a business and you get on social media and run
- 8:41that mouth of yours. Oh, oh, little spicy right
- 8:46there. You deserve that Ash tune
- 8:49because you're dumb and you try to act smart.
- 8:51Stay your lane. Like me.
- 8:53I stay my lane. I talk about what I know and
- 8:56what I'm good at. I don't.
- 8:58I don't try to be somebody I'm not.
- 9:00I don't. So the next time you see a
- 9:02business owner, encourage them because they give you a job.
- 9:07Talk good about a business owner.
- 9:11Have a great Wednesday, everybody.
