- 0:15Speaker 2: Brought to you by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Starting with a job and with a career IVDW Local
- 0:21Speaker 2: sixty eight, It's Leggy.

- 0:31Speaker 4: The North did.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Yeah, Jeff Jeff Legwald, spot to you by the International
- 0:40Speaker 1: Brotherhood of Electrical Workers ive W Local sixty eight. Start
- 0:45Speaker 1: with a job and with the career, Jeff, I figured
- 0:49Speaker 1: this this week you'd be sitting by a beach with
- 0:53Speaker 1: my time. He kicked up a little bit and some
- 0:55Speaker 1: sand between your toes. What's going on you when you
- 0:58Speaker 1: get when you got a little time there?
- 1:00Speaker 5: Brother, draft never sleeps, baby.
- 1:03Speaker 1: The draft? All right?
- 1:04Speaker 3: I'm headed to Mobile, Mobile Alabama next week.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Oh, Senior Bowls next week? Is the East question?
- 1:12Speaker 4: I've never done that experience? Am I missing out? In
- 1:14Speaker 4: my life? I'd get invited to it. Not that I'm bitter.
- 1:17Speaker 4: I'm not bitter.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I've been there one time to cover it. I thought
- 1:20Speaker 1: it was actually pretty awesome because the access is. I
- 1:23Speaker 1: think it's a pretty cool town. There's like one strip
- 1:26Speaker 1: of restaurants stuff that I think is pretty neat. Everybody
- 1:29Speaker 1: is there like a little bit of a convention. Scott's
- 1:31Speaker 1: seeing himself on TV. By the way, they're they're replaying
- 1:33Speaker 1: a game from nineteen eighty.
- 1:34Speaker 6: Nine, Christmas Knicks, New Jersey Sin.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Scott's getting very exciting every.
- 1:40Speaker 6: Time they cut to the huddle. I'm up there.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Try why is this game even on?
- 1:45Speaker 6: I haven't just probably a classic game? I guess it
- 1:48Speaker 6: went and overtime.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Well they say they kind of ruined the entire replay
- 1:51Speaker 1: because they say Nets win overtime thriller. That's actually on
- 1:55Speaker 1: the crawl under the game as they're replaying the game,
- 1:57Speaker 1: which takes away a little bit of the fun. So
- 2:00Speaker 1: if you're headed to mobile, okay, who you looking forward
- 2:02Speaker 1: to seeing? Who's interesting on the surface? When it applies
- 2:06Speaker 1: for the Denver Broncos.
- 2:08Speaker 5: Well, this year is so it's so different.
- 2:10Speaker 3: I mean last year a lot of the guys in
- 2:13Speaker 3: a really good quarterback class were there. Uh, this year
- 2:17Speaker 3: will be a totally different vibe. I mean you're gonna
- 2:19Speaker 3: have You're not going to have a lot of the
- 2:22Speaker 3: top you know players on the field, uh this time.
- 2:27Speaker 3: But you know there are some interesting uh guys the
- 2:30Speaker 3: Broncos could be looking at. You know, I'm looking for
- 2:33Speaker 3: any of those down the board running backs, you know,
- 2:37Speaker 3: tight ends, inside linebackers, you know, just just all of
- 2:41Speaker 3: those things. But that's always been a great uh. They
- 2:44Speaker 3: always have the most draft prospects at that game.
- 2:47Speaker 5: They always have.
- 2:48Speaker 3: So you get a good feel and just your ability
- 2:52Speaker 3: to see every single scout and personnel executive executive in
- 2:56Speaker 3: the league is in one place. Uh, kind of like
- 2:59Speaker 3: the So it's it's good foraging. I'll know more when
- 3:04Speaker 3: I get back than I do not.
- 3:06Speaker 4: You know what, we talk about running backs and tight
- 3:08Speaker 4: ends all the time, and we talk about Camps Cattabu,
- 3:10Speaker 4: We talked about Esston genty, We talked about Tyler Warren
- 3:13Speaker 4: and in Cleveland. Outside of those names, give us a
- 3:17Speaker 4: couple more names, both tight ends and running backs in
- 3:19Speaker 4: the kind of second the third round range, maybe fourth
- 3:22Speaker 4: round range even that you be intrigued in.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Well, you know, I think scataboo Is is a guy
- 3:27Speaker 3: you don't know where he's gonna fall on the board.
- 3:29Speaker 3: You know, you don't know what people think of him
- 3:32Speaker 3: right now, but you know, for you know, I like
- 3:37Speaker 3: that North Carolina back. I'm Arion Hampton. I like him
- 3:41Speaker 3: a lot. Iowa was Caleb Johnson. Uh, and we all
- 3:45Speaker 3: saw last night how good a back Judkins is for
- 3:49Speaker 3: Ohio State. I think those are good, physical, powerful guys
- 3:55Speaker 3: who who could find a place in the Broncos offense.
- 3:58Speaker 5: Any of those guys and you know, guys.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Are nineteenth pick nineteenth pick guys though, are they?
- 4:04Speaker 4: No?
- 4:04Speaker 3: And I don't think you know, gent is probably the
- 4:08Speaker 3: only first round back for a lot of teams.
- 4:10Speaker 6: Now.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Some guys I've talked to, like Hampton from North Carolina
- 4:14Speaker 3: a lot like in.
- 4:15Speaker 5: A as in a real lot. So.
- 4:18Speaker 3: But we just don't know where some gms are gonna
- 4:22Speaker 3: when they really are faced with a first round pick,
- 4:24Speaker 3: would they use it on a back these days? You
- 4:27Speaker 3: know that's a tough call. But but those are the backs,
- 4:30Speaker 3: you know, in days one and two. I think, really, Scataboo,
- 4:35Speaker 3: I don't know where he's going to fall. You know,
- 4:37Speaker 3: I've had some people tell me he's a fourth. Uh.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Some people tell me he's a late three. So you know,
- 4:42Speaker 3: I think it's just one of those things of what
- 4:44Speaker 3: you like. But he certainly is one of the backs
- 4:48Speaker 3: on the board who has most of the joker tendencies
- 4:51Speaker 3: Peyton talks a lot about, so I will look at
- 4:57Speaker 3: him with that in mind as well.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Oh my god, I would if I would be I'm
- 5:03Speaker 1: running out to buy my Skataboo jersey. If that's the case,
- 5:06Speaker 1: I'll be buying my first Broncos jersey of all time
- 5:09Speaker 1: that's the case. I'm not even gonna push it that hard.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I just really like him, Jeff, I really like him,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and if that's the right fit for them, that would
- 5:15Speaker 1: make me pumped. I'm not gonna like say, oh my god,
- 5:18Speaker 1: you gotta do this, you gotta do that. I just
- 5:20Speaker 1: think he'd be a great fit if he's available on
- 5:22Speaker 1: the right spot.
- 5:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I just don't know. T Mak.
- 5:25Speaker 3: My only concern with what I call impact runners like him,
- 5:29Speaker 3: Like he runs to contact in college. If you do
- 5:32Speaker 3: that in the NFL, it is not a very successful
- 5:36Speaker 3: and long life.
- 5:39Speaker 5: That would be my concern with him as a prospect.
- 5:42Speaker 3: If you're going to run to contact that much, that
- 5:46Speaker 3: that's But as a receiver and all.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Of those things, I think there are ways.
- 5:52Speaker 3: To make him a dynamic player with the right play caller,
- 5:55Speaker 3: but he will not be this punishing runner in the league.
- 6:00Speaker 5: I don't think, Hey.
- 6:01Speaker 1: We saw them move on from Kawika, which we probably
- 6:04Speaker 1: shouldn't have been that surprised by, now that I think
- 6:06Speaker 1: about it and look at it, we probably should have
- 6:08Speaker 1: sawen that coming.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Now, that was a package deal when he came in. Yeah,
- 6:13Speaker 3: I think they'd like to promote Chris Banjo in some way.
- 6:17Speaker 3: So is it one slot or two slots? I mean,
- 6:20Speaker 3: that's that's the question.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Well, that's where I was kind of kind of go
- 6:23Speaker 1: Do you anticipate any other coaching significant even minor coaching
- 6:27Speaker 1: changes on this staff?
- 6:29Speaker 5: You know, I didn't beyond that.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I mean a few days ago when I was out there,
- 6:33Speaker 3: I thought could Witko would be the only one. But well,
- 6:37Speaker 3: I think the senior ball is always a good that's
- 6:40Speaker 3: the job hunting central plaza for assistant coaches sometimes, so
- 6:45Speaker 3: I'll have a better feel if if there are any rumblings.
- 6:48Speaker 3: But there really isn't much rumbling going on right now
- 6:52Speaker 3: because I think all of these head coaching candidates are
- 6:55Speaker 3: trying to assemble staffs. So when some of that dust
- 6:59Speaker 3: settles we'll know a little more.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Probably take me back in time. After the Chiefs game,
- 7:04Speaker 4: they give up the block field goal, Mike west Off retires,
- 7:08Speaker 4: and we've all connected the dots around here, like, hey,
- 7:10Speaker 4: Mike west Off is really Sean Payton's guy. It wasn't
- 7:13Speaker 4: Ben kot Weeka. Well, he retires with health concerns. But
- 7:17Speaker 4: it certainly was interesting timing after that Chiefs game. Why
- 7:20Speaker 4: did why did Mike west Off retire? Like, like, why
- 7:23Speaker 4: was it him rather than them firing benkot week at
- 7:27Speaker 4: at that time? If Mike west Off was really Sean
- 7:29Speaker 4: Payton's guy the whole way through.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Well time and again you know you trust people, aren't,
- 7:36Speaker 3: you know, scringing your lawn? But I've been told those
- 7:39Speaker 3: were genuine health concerns with west Off, like they couldn't
- 7:42Speaker 3: go any longer.
- 7:43Speaker 4: It's just it was weird timing, you know.
- 7:46Speaker 3: No, I mean, and who's to say the preparation, right,
- 7:51Speaker 3: you know, the two weeks before that, you know, when
- 7:53Speaker 3: he was experiencing difficulty were affected, you know, would they
- 7:58Speaker 3: have made the the positional move on the field, the
- 8:01Speaker 3: flip flop of pert and ForSight?
- 8:04Speaker 5: Would they have done that two weeks.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Sooner if he was completely healthy, but because they had
- 8:08Speaker 3: discussed all of those things leading up to the Chiefs game.
- 8:12Speaker 3: So but I've been told it was genuine health concerns,
- 8:16Speaker 3: and you know, the block field goal was kind of
- 8:19Speaker 3: in the in the mix of it all and was
- 8:22Speaker 3: probably even west off. I was told in some ways saying, Okay,
- 8:26Speaker 3: enough's enough, you know, but we had like the worst
- 8:31Speaker 3: special teams play of the year, and and I can't
- 8:34Speaker 3: see without blurred vision, so I you know.
- 8:37Speaker 5: This is it.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah, there's nothing about that Kansas City game that would
- 8:40Speaker 1: help your health, right, Like, it's only gonna if you're.
- 8:43Speaker 3: You know, if you're a special teams coach just living
- 8:45Speaker 3: and dying with imagine the fourteen plays you get in
- 8:49Speaker 3: a game that that one's just gonna that's going to
- 8:52Speaker 3: drag you down a.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Bit, and the piling on afterwards too, by everybody that
- 8:58Speaker 1: was well, it was me man is Bill Belichick, It
- 9:01Speaker 1: was ESPN running.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Of course, you know, the other teams had made that
- 9:06Speaker 3: clear that was gonna be a problem. He had been
- 9:08Speaker 3: bowled over. Now that that guy gets bowled over a
- 9:10Speaker 3: lot in in you know, field goals and extra points,
- 9:15Speaker 3: that that position is it ain't fun out there.
- 9:20Speaker 5: But you know, they they had discussed in house where.
- 9:23Speaker 3: They're going to have to do something and they and
- 9:24Speaker 3: they sort of just kept putting it off until they
- 9:26Speaker 3: couldn't anymore.
- 9:28Speaker 6: Uh, nineteen, what what what position do you think they're
- 9:31Speaker 6: gonna look for first? And it will be a position
- 9:34Speaker 6: or will be a best available player on the board
- 9:36Speaker 6: if somebody they like or gone, it.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Better be best available player, because that's that's how you
- 9:42Speaker 3: should live, you know, as much as possible. Uh, your
- 9:46Speaker 3: issue this year is it's it. You know, there's gonna
- 9:49Speaker 3: be between dependently you talk to between fifteen and twenty
- 9:53Speaker 3: two true first round grade, so you're right at the
- 9:57Speaker 3: edge of of your first round grade. So I think
- 10:00Speaker 3: their big question is do you take a guy who
- 10:03Speaker 3: have graded there or dip out and get an extra
- 10:06Speaker 3: second rounder or something? You know, but that'll be there
- 10:10Speaker 3: the position they face. I think the good teams stay
- 10:14Speaker 3: and take a player because you you know, if you've
- 10:17Speaker 3: done your grading right, there's gonna be somebody there worth
- 10:20Speaker 3: that pick for sure.
- 10:23Speaker 5: And they need talent, you know.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I still think they're in that stage where you look
- 10:27Speaker 3: at the elite and you look at them and there's
- 10:29Speaker 3: still a gap, and it was proven, you know, head
- 10:32Speaker 3: to head this year that there is a gap between
- 10:35Speaker 3: them and the best.
- 10:36Speaker 5: So they need talent.
- 10:39Speaker 3: You know, they'll probably be an inside linebacker there worthy,
- 10:43Speaker 3: maybe a safety worthy, you know, definitely. It's you know
- 10:46Speaker 3: where they come down on the running backs. You know
- 10:49Speaker 3: that that would be a question there too. But Sean
- 10:51Speaker 3: Payton has proven he will use the first round pick
- 10:55Speaker 3: for a guy graded below that pick because he did
- 10:59Speaker 3: it in bon Nix, you know, and it worked out
- 11:02Speaker 3: pretty good in their mind.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Well, I'm looking at my favorite website, which is NFL
- 11:07Speaker 1: Mock Draft Database dot com.
- 11:09Speaker 5: Fright, your tongue.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I love this website.
- 11:13Speaker 5: Your tongue.
- 11:15Speaker 1: It's an aggregator. Just here's here's what I do.
- 11:17Speaker 3: And I'm gonna hang out, but I'm gonna get on.
- 11:21Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Let me give you three names that they've got, Polston Lovel,
- 11:28Speaker 1: Houlston Loveland, Luther Burden, and Tyler Warren right now, aggregated
- 11:34Speaker 1: are kind of the three favorites in the barn there.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Talk to us about Coulson Loveland and Luther Burden. I
- 11:38Speaker 1: don't know anything about either, so maybe you give us
- 11:40Speaker 1: a little skinny on those two dudes.
- 11:42Speaker 5: Well, I mean Loveland is just he's a giant.
- 11:46Speaker 3: I mean, that guy is big, and he's a quality
- 11:48Speaker 3: receiver and you know, again it's tight end. You know,
- 11:53Speaker 3: I think I have a hard time believe in Warren
- 11:56Speaker 3: will be there.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I think his skill set is just.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Is uh just too vast. But if they got if
- 12:07Speaker 3: he was there, that's a brainer to me. But anyway,
- 12:11Speaker 3: but Loveland, Loveland's just more of a straight up tight end.
- 12:15Speaker 3: He doesn't have the sort of the variety Warren does
- 12:18Speaker 3: and that's the difference. And he's a little but he's blocker, yes,
- 12:21Speaker 3: oh yeah, I mean he's he's the he's your hybrid,
- 12:27Speaker 3: you know, Peyton needs in the offense. You can play,
- 12:29Speaker 3: you can play a two tight end set and line
- 12:32Speaker 3: him up anywhere in it, you know, and succeed and
- 12:35Speaker 3: win matchups. And they just got to win more matchups
- 12:39Speaker 3: between the numbers. I mean, the defenses are just owning
- 12:42Speaker 3: them between the numbers because they get no production from
- 12:46Speaker 3: the tight end position. And they're running backs you know,
- 12:50Speaker 3: don't even average seven yards of catch. So I mean
- 12:53Speaker 3: it's you know, they need production between the numbers.
- 12:58Speaker 4: I might be out on an island on this one.
- 13:00Speaker 4: But I think early on I like Colson Lovelin more
- 13:03Speaker 4: than Tyler Warren. I think I do. I love what
- 13:05Speaker 4: he does in line of scrimmage. I mean, nobody's gonna
- 13:07Speaker 4: confuse him for a dominating blocking tight end. But for
- 13:11Speaker 4: today's tight ends, he's about as well round as you get.
- 13:14Speaker 4: But there is another kid that I'm intrigued your thoughts on,
- 13:16Speaker 4: and I'm john to blank on his name, but the
- 13:17Speaker 4: kid out of Bowling Green. He's a bit of a
- 13:21Speaker 4: Trey McBride type of player. He's the other tight end
- 13:24Speaker 4: that's been tossed in that conversation with those three guys.
- 13:28Speaker 4: What's his name, Harold?
- 13:29Speaker 3: Harold?
- 13:30Speaker 4: Harold, Yeah, Yeah, What do you know about that guy?
- 13:33Speaker 3: Well, I mean he's another he's not quite as big
- 13:37Speaker 3: as the other two guys. He I bet he weighs
- 13:40Speaker 3: two thirty five or so at the combine. Uh, so,
- 13:44Speaker 3: you know, a little light, you know, a little more
- 13:46Speaker 3: of a receiver, straight up receiver type. Maybe not quite
- 13:50Speaker 3: the inline guy as as Loveland is, but we'll definitely
- 13:55Speaker 3: contribute right away for somebody as a receiver. So you know,
- 13:59Speaker 3: and he's another guy where you get a really big
- 14:03Speaker 3: gap as to where he fits. Some people are will
- 14:08Speaker 3: tell me, oh, yeah, he's a top seventy player, and
- 14:11Speaker 3: then other people will tell me, oh, I got him,
- 14:13Speaker 3: you know, one thirty five on the board. So he
- 14:15Speaker 3: there's a big difference of opinion on what people think
- 14:18Speaker 3: of him right now because I think he's sort of
- 14:21Speaker 3: just a receiver or perceived that way.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Right now, there's a couple of wide receivers that are
- 14:26Speaker 1: kind of circling around where the rongs are drafting at
- 14:28Speaker 1: twenty by the way, not nineteen, but just you know,
- 14:31Speaker 1: closel Luther Burden from Missouri and help me with the
- 14:37Speaker 1: NAG because I'm Egbuka like Buka and Buka Buka.
- 14:42Speaker 4: He's just watching.
- 14:43Speaker 3: All you had to do was watch a game last night.
- 14:45Speaker 3: That guy is ready to go an NFL receiver.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, Burden or Agbuka? Which one you like better?
- 14:54Speaker 1: What about these two guys that have your interest?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Well, I think Buka's a little bigger, you know, I
- 15:01Speaker 3: don't know that Burden will measure in at six feet
- 15:04Speaker 3: when all of a sudden and done so.
- 15:07Speaker 5: But he's real physical, you know.
- 15:08Speaker 3: He's he'll be like, I bet he's five to eleven
- 15:12Speaker 3: or five ten and seven Ace and like two oh
- 15:14Speaker 3: five Burden, So you know that's a that's a powerful
- 15:18Speaker 3: guy who can kind of line up everywhere.
- 15:21Speaker 5: And you know, I, personally, in all.
- 15:23Speaker 3: The years I've been doing the draft, I always think
- 15:25Speaker 3: there's a little bit of an sec multiplier for guys.
- 15:28Speaker 3: They come in a little more ready to play than
- 15:31Speaker 3: everybody else does just because of the level of people
- 15:35Speaker 3: they face and kind of the NFL style of their schemes,
- 15:39Speaker 3: so it gives them an advantage. But Buka, you know,
- 15:44Speaker 3: you just make a list of the guys who've played
- 15:46Speaker 3: wide receiver at Ohio State, and he's the all time
- 15:49Speaker 3: leader in catches, so amazing.
- 15:51Speaker 5: That's that's production.
- 15:53Speaker 3: And I will tell you guys who've played at Ohio
- 15:56Speaker 3: State said have told me he was the guy who
- 16:00Speaker 3: organizes the extra work for the receivers. He's the guy
- 16:04Speaker 3: who gets them and takes them over to the jugs machine.
- 16:08Speaker 5: You know.
- 16:08Speaker 3: He he kind of learned it from Harrison and he
- 16:11Speaker 3: kind of took it forward as his deal.
- 16:14Speaker 5: You know, in his last year.
- 16:15Speaker 1: He's a leader guy. Yeah, God, just tight ender a
- 16:18Speaker 1: guy like him, because there are so many good tight
- 16:22Speaker 1: ends later in the draft, and I get it how
- 16:25Speaker 1: special Tyler Warren is and the whole thing, but I
- 16:28Speaker 1: just see the value of these these wide receivers these days.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Well, I mean, a GM will tell you d Mac
- 16:33Speaker 3: there's tons of wide receivers now, you know. That's that's
- 16:37Speaker 3: every year. It's the deepest position on the board, just because.
- 16:41Speaker 6: Everybody, everybody, everybody.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Okay, I get the appeal of the top four wide
- 16:46Speaker 4: receivers in the draft, but after that, for me personally,
- 16:49Speaker 4: I'm like, give me a fourth rounder.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, because I have a Tyler.
- 16:54Speaker 3: That's that's how people in the NFL thing, you know,
- 16:57Speaker 3: after the after your top tier, whatever team you talk
- 17:01Speaker 3: to you, whatever their top tier is, when they get
- 17:04Speaker 3: beyond that, they think the cluster is like you can
- 17:07Speaker 3: get a fourth round grade and the sixth round at
- 17:10Speaker 3: receiver because there's so many. And that's I think that's
- 17:13Speaker 3: what they bank on sometimes.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Okay, fair enough then, just and it's today. It's today.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Not holding anybody do anything. It's today. If you had
- 17:21Speaker 1: to choose between Ibuca and Colson Loveland, who you picking,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I'll do you Loveland Loveland.
- 17:28Speaker 5: JEF I would think in their offense they would take
- 17:33Speaker 5: Loveland because Uh, he's made it a point already. He
- 17:38Speaker 5: said like two times since the since the season ended,
- 17:42Speaker 5: all the years they had great offenses in New Orleans
- 17:45Speaker 5: wide receiver, he said it over and over again. So
- 17:49Speaker 5: sometimes he tips his hand a little bit on what
- 17:52Speaker 5: he thinks of all this. But they got to have
- 17:54Speaker 5: a tight end at some point.
- 17:56Speaker 3: This offense won't be what he wants it to be
- 18:00Speaker 3: without the joker running back and a tight end who
- 18:03Speaker 3: can impact a nickel defenses because people they do not
- 18:08Speaker 3: punish people for playing nickel on early downs, and that's
- 18:12Speaker 3: been the biggest hole in their offense other than the
- 18:16Speaker 3: three and outs. But they do not punish like you
- 18:19Speaker 3: can play nickel against them on first down and get
- 18:22Speaker 3: away with it, and people are doing it over and
- 18:25Speaker 3: over and the more they make bo Nicks push the
- 18:28Speaker 3: ball outside the numbers, the more his accuracy waivers. And
- 18:33Speaker 3: to repair both of those things, they got to have
- 18:36Speaker 3: a tight end or a running back who can really
- 18:40Speaker 3: challenge in the passing game.
- 18:41Speaker 1: You got sold and I think Colson Lovelin will be there.
- 18:44Speaker 1: This is probably really good.
- 18:45Speaker 4: No One thing though. If you just look at the
- 18:47Speaker 4: stats between Tyler Warren and Colson Loveland the one thing
- 18:50Speaker 4: that is interesting in terms of the joker role in particular,
- 18:53Speaker 4: Tyler Warren's got two hundred and eighteen yards on the ground, Karen.
- 18:58Speaker 3: He's a legit, like you could hand him the ball
- 19:01Speaker 3: and he's a runner.
- 19:01Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, he's a guy you said a while ago,
- 19:04Speaker 6: no doubt if he's around at twenty you take don't
- 19:06Speaker 6: even for me.
- 19:07Speaker 5: I just like versatile.
- 19:09Speaker 3: I'm a big fan of versatile in today's because it
- 19:13Speaker 3: saves you roster spots. Like he can legitimately throw the ball.
- 19:17Speaker 3: He's not a quarterback, but he's not. He's a guy
- 19:20Speaker 3: who was recruited as a quarter He's that good a thrower,
- 19:25Speaker 3: and you know, he just offers a lot of things
- 19:29Speaker 3: in today's game.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Well the only I mean, it sounds like a no
- 19:32Speaker 1: brainer of Tyler Warren's there, but I don't.
- 19:35Speaker 5: Think it will be.
- 19:36Speaker 3: You know, you got too many, too many jet jockeys
- 19:38Speaker 3: call and plays, you know, who want guys like him,
- 19:42Speaker 3: and you know the board.
- 19:43Speaker 5: Look at all we go.
- 19:45Speaker 1: That's what no, Jeff, that's exactly defensive.
- 19:47Speaker 3: A defensive player isn't picked last April, you know, until
- 19:52Speaker 3: Bauers is off the board.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean when I'm looking at some things. Now,
- 19:57Speaker 1: I've seen Tyler Warren go to the Dolphins. I've seen
- 19:59Speaker 1: him go to the This is at thirteen fourteen. Broncos
- 20:01Speaker 1: aren't gonna move up, right, I mean they're not moving up.
- 20:03Speaker 5: They're not gonna they need picks.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Yeah, so they're not gonna move up.
- 20:07Speaker 5: So again, look look what happens on draft day.
- 20:11Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, the draft was in the teens last year.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Before a defensive player comes off the board.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Right right right, right, right right right. So Tyler Warren's
- 20:20Speaker 1: not gonna be there. I see what you're saying. You're
- 20:23Speaker 1: you're right, he's not gonna be there. He's specially, but
- 20:25Speaker 1: he's not gonna be there, you know, if he is fine.
- 20:27Speaker 6: Sure, no one thought Bauer is going to be there
- 20:30Speaker 6: at thirteen last year, either, did they?
- 20:32Speaker 1: No, he did fall.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I never I never saw six quarterbacks coming down the pipe.
- 20:36Speaker 3: I had never seen it before. No one else had
- 20:38Speaker 3: ever seen it before either.
- 20:39Speaker 1: But but brock Bouwer certainly wasn't going later than like
- 20:42Speaker 1: fifteen or sixteen either, you know what I'm saying. Like
- 20:44Speaker 1: he did fall, but he wasn't going lower than that.
- 20:46Speaker 1: The Broncos are sitting at twenty. I mean, they just
- 20:48Speaker 1: ain't gonna happen, so but that's good enough. Hey, great conversation, Jeff,
- 20:52Speaker 1: I appreciate it. We'll talk to you next week.
- 20:55Speaker 5: They
