- 0:03Speaker 1: Like think.
- 2:01Speaker 2: And day.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Trying to log in again. I I just wanted to
- 3:13Speaker 3: come on because since this young lady has trying to
- 3:17Speaker 3: be in since she joined the Crew podcast, and have
- 3:21Speaker 3: been trying to go live and you know, share her
- 3:24Speaker 3: story and share her journey.
- 3:27Speaker 2: It it it seems like every single.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Time she tries to go live, there is a issue,
- 3:33Speaker 3: there is something. I don't know what message this lady
- 3:38Speaker 3: is truly trying to give, but the enemy is definitely
- 3:43Speaker 3: not on her side and the enemy is definitely against her.
- 3:47Speaker 3: But I just wanted to come come on here and
- 3:52Speaker 3: occupy this space until she got here, because apparently her
- 3:57Speaker 3: message is so is powerful, and we know how the
- 4:01Speaker 3: enemy works and we see it often right here on
- 4:06Speaker 3: this podcast as hosts try to go live try to
- 4:11Speaker 3: bring you information that we feel it's needed for our communities,
- 4:18Speaker 3: and the enemy is so busy. But I just wanted
- 4:23Speaker 3: to come on and let you guys know that we
- 4:27Speaker 3: have been trying to go live. We have been trying
- 4:30Speaker 3: to broadcast this show since the clock because she called
- 4:36Speaker 3: me a few minutes before we were supposed to be live,
- 4:41Speaker 3: and this is her calling me again. This is her
- 4:44Speaker 3: calling me again, y'all. So we're trying to see where
- 4:47Speaker 3: she said, Hello, Yes.
- 4:50Speaker 2: I'm still loving it's lonely studio.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Okay, well I'm in the studio. I am live. So,
- 5:02Speaker 3: like I was saying, y'all, I don't know what it is,
- 5:06Speaker 3: but apparently the message that she's trying to bring, y'all
- 5:10Speaker 3: is a powerful message that is trying to be hindered, because,
- 5:15Speaker 3: like I say, since she has joined the network, every
- 5:18Speaker 3: single time she tries to come in the studio and
- 5:22Speaker 3: go live is always an issue. And we even tested
- 5:27Speaker 3: her her equipment last week to make sure that she
- 5:32Speaker 3: was able to come in and we were able to
- 5:36Speaker 3: go live. Had no issues. We went live, and we
- 5:40Speaker 3: were live for some minutes. Normally it would kick her
- 5:44Speaker 3: off at like seventeen seconds or so, but we were
- 5:47Speaker 3: able to actually go live connect and her equipment worked.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I don't know why the enemy is fighting her so hard,
- 5:57Speaker 3: but of course we know when and there is a message
- 6:01Speaker 3: that has to be delivered and something that the people
- 6:04Speaker 3: need to hear. It's always some some friction, there's always
- 6:09Speaker 3: some some something that tries to hinder And I just
- 6:16Speaker 3: wanted y'all to see how real this was, because there's
- 6:19Speaker 3: a couple of other hosts that have no problems ever,
- 6:24Speaker 3: But then we have some that every time they try
- 6:26Speaker 3: to go live, it's delayed. There's there's something going on
- 6:30Speaker 3: with the recording, there's something going on.
- 6:33Speaker 2: With the music. It's always something.
- 6:36Speaker 3: But for everybody that have been following us and supporting
- 6:39Speaker 3: us for the last three years, know that we don't stop.
- 6:42Speaker 2: We don't quit. We continue, We go on.
- 6:44Speaker 3: We press, we we we we We are here to
- 6:50Speaker 3: serve our community and to educate, empower and encourage. So
- 6:58Speaker 3: we press and we continue to try to bring the
- 7:02Speaker 3: message and the things that we feel will help build
- 7:06Speaker 3: our communities and make our community stronger. So know that
- 7:12Speaker 3: we don't stop. Were not stopping. I'm yet here waiting
- 7:17Speaker 3: for her to come in the studio. That's right, Patrice.
- 7:21Speaker 3: We make it do what to do because that's how
- 7:24Speaker 3: we know to do. Because one thing we are not
- 7:27Speaker 3: is quitters. We do not quit. So if I just
- 7:33Speaker 3: want to serve the enemy, notice on tonight. You may
- 7:39Speaker 3: you may have hindered us tonight, but you won't get
- 7:42Speaker 3: that opportunity again. So I hope you will enjoying this
- 7:47Speaker 3: this go round because you won't get another chance to
- 7:50Speaker 3: hinder her.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Show.
- 7:51Speaker 3: If that means we got to start going live a
- 7:54Speaker 3: little earlier, we'll go whatever it takes to defeat you.
- 7:59Speaker 3: We will do that because you get no victory on
- 8:03Speaker 3: the group podcast. You will not come against our host
- 8:07Speaker 3: because they have that there are a mission, that that's
- 8:10Speaker 3: something that they're supposed to be delivering to the people,
- 8:14Speaker 3: to help the people. When I tell you we are
- 8:17Speaker 3: the change that we desired to see in this world,
- 8:20Speaker 3: that's exactly what we are. So enemy, just know that
- 8:25Speaker 3: you are served on tonight. You won't get another chance
- 8:29Speaker 3: to affect any of these hosts. Trust and believe. So
- 8:35Speaker 3: you had your little time tonight, but you won't get
- 8:38Speaker 3: it again.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 8:51Speaker 4: That's very hard to bring my messon to everyone because
- 8:56Speaker 4: I know it's important to know.
- 8:59Speaker 2: That's why I go live on.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Facebook too, so that people don't know there's a big story.
- 9:05Speaker 4: I'll get the least to be told. It's not just
- 9:08Speaker 4: the other listen, it's how I've been living with it,
- 9:12Speaker 4: and some.
- 9:13Speaker 2: People can see me.
- 9:14Speaker 4: That's why I want to be on your podcast, on
- 9:16Speaker 4: your show. But I just brought this new laptop now
- 9:20Speaker 4: the laptop, this new Tablain, and it was just finally
- 9:25Speaker 4: for doing the important emotional to see if it work.
- 9:28Speaker 4: An it work for some reason tonight they had me
- 9:31Speaker 4: a different room.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 9:37Speaker 4: I want you and need listeners to know that my
- 9:40Speaker 4: name is building the name of Smalls, and I'm about
- 9:43Speaker 4: my podcast and I am here so that you guys
- 9:46Speaker 4: know that I am not going to stop until this
- 9:50Speaker 4: thing is right, because I've never had such a problem
- 9:53Speaker 4: before in my life trying to get onto my site.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Tonight I talked about the show to and how my
- 10:04Speaker 4: life was dealing with the havaison and during the cold
- 10:07Speaker 4: pandemic and being in the shelter.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I became homeless after taking COVID funds.
- 10:18Speaker 4: During the pandemic, which I didn't know that you were
- 10:20Speaker 4: supposed to take COVID funds during the pandemic.
- 10:23Speaker 2: You never had a pandemic before, so how would I know.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Before I had a house, I had sex well, I
- 10:29Speaker 4: was on Section eight, So being that I was on
- 10:32Speaker 4: sex and eight, I was able to afford to certain
- 10:37Speaker 4: things and I was working for my time.
- 10:42Speaker 2: So I had a basketball for in my backyard. I
- 10:44Speaker 2: had a bockground pool, I had the grills, I had
- 10:49Speaker 2: a deck.
- 10:51Speaker 4: I had enough grass that I could do tennis or
- 10:54Speaker 4: bag and then I.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Had grass in the front yard. I cut my own grass.
- 10:59Speaker 2: I put mine in my grass so it looked nice
- 11:03Speaker 2: and nicely managed long every.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Two weeks, and then the pandemic came. And then I
- 11:11Speaker 4: was told about my sex and eight Golcha coordinator whatever
- 11:16Speaker 4: you want to call.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Her, jenniferm that you can't take funds. So I didn't
- 11:20Speaker 2: pay my rent a whole year. The end that I
- 11:24Speaker 2: paid my rent a whole year, that violates at sixty eight.
- 11:28Speaker 2: So day was happening taken away from me and he did. So.
- 11:33Speaker 4: I stayed in my trunk for six months and then
- 11:37Speaker 4: in my truck for six months.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I had to take a shower in people houses that
- 11:40Speaker 2: I knew.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Sometimes if I was in a hotel, it's a hotel,
- 11:45Speaker 4: then there was Sometimes it was at the seventh eleventh,
- 11:48Speaker 4: I was far across the street from or any bathroom
- 11:51Speaker 4: that I could go into.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Then allow me to.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Take a washer the waffle house. I had to take
- 11:57Speaker 4: a shower and to take a wash at the waffle house.
- 12:01Speaker 4: And then after six months of that, I lived with
- 12:04Speaker 4: my sister in six months, so I wouldn't suggest the
- 12:07Speaker 4: family members the reason why I say it because about
- 12:10Speaker 4: everybody get along. I worried about the electric bills, she
- 12:14Speaker 4: went about the water bill. She worried about me. That
- 12:18Speaker 4: was tedious. Yeah, I wouldn't say that's not tedious, but
- 12:22Speaker 4: tears so.
- 12:23Speaker 2: A person who don't do anything. It wasn't like I
- 12:26Speaker 2: was running the water.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Had the lights on it. It's just that that's the
- 12:30Speaker 4: type of person that she is. And I stayed with
- 12:35Speaker 4: her for about six months. I got a job at
- 12:36Speaker 4: McDonald's and that's when the Orlanda.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Center was really burning my hair out.
- 12:41Speaker 4: My hair was blond, and I got a big hone
- 12:45Speaker 4: on my head from rubbing it so much because it
- 12:48Speaker 4: was burning and itching at the same time. And sometimes
- 12:51Speaker 4: it would burn and sometimes it would itch at different times,
- 12:56Speaker 4: and I.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Took pictures of it because I'm like.
- 12:58Speaker 4: What is burning my fall? It seemed like whenever I
- 13:02Speaker 4: was going music, that's when my spall was burning. I
- 13:05Speaker 4: called him my spall on my head.
- 13:08Speaker 2: So after living with my sister for six months mab
- 13:12Speaker 2: at McDonald's, I went to New York City. My daughter
- 13:14Speaker 2: I asked me any New York City to be with her.
- 13:17Speaker 2: So I came to New York city, and I stayed
- 13:19Speaker 2: in shelter for two years. I would suggest.
- 13:21Speaker 4: That only because they find your apartment is the only
- 13:24Speaker 4: reason why I would say, yeah, it's worth it because
- 13:28Speaker 4: I live in a beautiful studio apartment.
- 13:32Speaker 2: But while I was in the shelter, so much was
- 13:34Speaker 2: going on. It was fighting. The police was.
- 13:36Speaker 4: There all the time, two or three times a day,
- 13:40Speaker 4: and this girl split on me because.
- 13:43Speaker 2: They said she could have HIV. I don't know, but
- 13:47Speaker 2: she was. She caught everybody in the whole shelter just about.
- 13:52Speaker 4: And that's what staff used to befriend the billies, and
- 13:55Speaker 4: the billie.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Do their job for with.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Them because they couldn't do it, which is fight you.
- 14:09Speaker 4: But I still have to the fantasondo in the shelter,
- 14:13Speaker 4: trying to deal with that and feel it with my family.
- 14:18Speaker 4: It's not easy being with your family. But then you
- 14:21Speaker 4: had to sign in every single night. Every single night
- 14:24Speaker 4: you have to sign in, and they were going to
- 14:26Speaker 4: be in there fighting. I got into two fights. Lost
- 14:31Speaker 4: my favorite air ring that got lost. I found it,
- 14:35Speaker 4: then it got lost again. Then this lady pushed me.
- 14:38Speaker 4: I had to arrest it because I set on my risks.
- 14:43Speaker 4: So they thought that was worth tiving. He arrested, so
- 14:46Speaker 4: I had arrested.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And it's so much, so much go off, especially.
- 14:55Speaker 4: When you're in the shelter and you know that the
- 14:58Speaker 4: shelter said, and you thought whether what you thought it was.
- 15:02Speaker 4: It's like they have women in there that look like
- 15:05Speaker 4: men because they're transitioning over to being men women, I'm sorry,
- 15:12Speaker 4: being women.
- 15:13Speaker 2: And there was a few men that were in there.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Who has still had their private parts as men, but
- 15:21Speaker 4: they somehow passed a test.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I was told that the test is what I can
- 15:29Speaker 2: tell is.
- 15:29Speaker 4: The person that's really trying to transition to being a woman.
- 15:32Speaker 2: And I guess they passed the test and they went
- 15:34Speaker 2: out to come into the shelf.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Then you had some women in there who were dressed
- 15:40Speaker 4: like men also who loved to get naked. Because one
- 15:47Speaker 4: lady who got naked in the cafeteria for breakfast, I
- 15:51Speaker 4: don't know what was going on in her head, but
- 15:54Speaker 4: she just stripped, took a straight off, and she was
- 15:59Speaker 4: just there chested in front of all the ladies that
- 16:02Speaker 4: was in there, trying to enjoy the piece of breakfast
- 16:05Speaker 4: that we had, which was all garbage. We had catering
- 16:11Speaker 4: the floor that was garbage. When we ate microwave food,
- 16:14Speaker 4: and then then it was caterer who cooked, and that
- 16:17Speaker 4: was worse. They should have left it at the microwave food,
- 16:20Speaker 4: is what I was saying. A lot of women felt
- 16:22Speaker 4: the same way.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And that's not the only woman that allowed to get undressed.
- 16:26Speaker 4: This one woman that was in my room, she was
- 16:29Speaker 4: on the second floor and she goes, she went to
- 16:32Speaker 4: bed naked, got up naked. Joie got dressed when it
- 16:37Speaker 4: was during the daytime and she was going to go
- 16:39Speaker 4: somewhere otherwise that she just got naked. It was like
- 16:42Speaker 4: you're being exposed to women in the shelter who don't
- 16:49Speaker 4: care about other people's integrity.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I don't care about that self respect. I don't care
- 16:56Speaker 2: about whether somebody have something that said about them or not.
- 17:01Speaker 2: They still gonna do what they want to do. Not
- 17:03Speaker 2: only that, they had tampons that was bloody all over
- 17:10Speaker 2: the floor.
- 17:12Speaker 4: And the shower and the toilet, blood all over the seats.
- 17:16Speaker 4: One lady used the dapt them on the floor. She
- 17:19Speaker 4: did the number two. She just shoot it all over
- 17:21Speaker 4: the floor. They had to clean that up and the blood.
- 17:25Speaker 4: They had to clean that up. They don't even know
- 17:27Speaker 4: if that person got something or not. Those are the
- 17:30Speaker 4: things that I had to do in the shelter, besides
- 17:34Speaker 4: the fighting, besides other people fighting. So I just wanted
- 17:40Speaker 4: to let you know a little bit about the shelter life.
- 17:42Speaker 4: And this is going to be in my second book.
- 17:45Speaker 4: When said the Barberic, I'm sorry, my second book, The Plainsight.
- 17:50Speaker 4: It's just certain things that need to be told should
- 17:54Speaker 4: be told so people can know you're going to go
- 17:58Speaker 4: into a shelter, then this is what you need to expect.
- 18:03Speaker 4: And if you're going to go into a shelter and
- 18:05Speaker 4: you already expect that, then you're willing to stay in
- 18:08Speaker 4: there for two years like I did and at Boston
- 18:13Speaker 4: Ring for two years so that you can get a
- 18:17Speaker 4: nice apartment. From the beginning, it was because things were
- 18:24Speaker 4: not that bad, but it's seeing that over time people
- 18:28Speaker 4: with different people coming in, different people leaving, and the
- 18:31Speaker 4: worst came in when I was almost managed to leave.
- 18:38Speaker 4: And I still have the Havana sunder at Obamacallo, Havanas
- 18:42Speaker 4: and them in two thousand and sixty three years, it's
- 18:47Speaker 4: going on twenty four years now. Next year beginning of
- 18:51Speaker 4: April April May in Hawaii, stay April May because that's
- 18:59Speaker 4: when it started coming down on me the way that
- 19:02Speaker 4: it is. I never had it before.
- 19:05Speaker 2: I was like you.
- 19:07Speaker 4: I was able to deal with life everyday life, think
- 19:10Speaker 4: of things and things, oh places, talk the way I.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Want to talk. And I feel like somebody's trying to
- 19:17Speaker 2: stop me from talking. And that's really sad to be
- 19:23Speaker 2: in America and my first moment right is being compromised.
- 19:28Speaker 2: What it is.
- 19:32Speaker 4: So with that being said, write and signed it into law,
- 19:36Speaker 4: and he made it real. And by making it real,
- 19:41Speaker 4: I want to use it to tell you every single
- 19:45Speaker 4: thing that's happened to me could happen to you in
- 19:47Speaker 4: the future, could happen to your kids, could happen to
- 19:49Speaker 4: your grandkids.
- 19:50Speaker 2: You just never know why they picked me. I don't know.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I don't know why they picked me, but they picked me.
- 20:01Speaker 4: When my brother died. Police customs twenty thirteen. Excuse me,
- 20:04Speaker 4: that's the health center. That's twenty thirteen in complete custody
- 20:10Speaker 4: may give me raight form, and I'm poking for the
- 20:13Speaker 4: answer for allowing me to use it.
- 20:18Speaker 2: I'm out trying to make sure that I have the
- 20:20Speaker 2: proper equipment to make sure that I can get onto
- 20:23Speaker 2: our show.
- 20:24Speaker 4: And it seemed that it's always something coming up that
- 20:28Speaker 4: doesn't allow me to do that.
- 20:31Speaker 2: So we're going to get it right.
- 20:32Speaker 4: That's why I got a guest on yet, because I
- 20:35Speaker 4: want to make sure that I get it right first
- 20:37Speaker 4: before I invite my guests on and have them go
- 20:40Speaker 4: through this.
- 20:41Speaker 2: So with that being said, thank you Angela, Thank you
- 20:45Speaker 2: audience for listening.
- 20:47Speaker 4: My name is one of the Lambas small No One's
- 20:49Speaker 4: wins the Barb podcast.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Amen, Amen, Amen.
- 20:56Speaker 3: So hopefully in two weeks when her show is she
- 21:01Speaker 3: has another show coming up. It would be August twenty seven,
- 21:07Speaker 3: so hopefully everything will go find and we will be
- 21:10Speaker 3: able to have her here alive. I want to thank
- 21:13Speaker 3: everyone that has joined in on tonight. Just keep supporting
- 21:18Speaker 3: and we will keep pressing.
- 21:21Speaker 2: And keep pushing.
- 21:22Speaker 3: So know that that's what we do over here on
- 21:25Speaker 3: the Crew podcast. And again I want to thank everyone
- 21:28Speaker 3: that I don't know who nominated our podcast for Media
- 21:34Speaker 3: Outlet of the Year with the Kingdom Image Awards. Know
