- 0:59Hi, everyone.
- 1:00It's, Roxanne Derhodge again with Authentic Lip from Roxanne.
- 1:03Thanks so much tuning in this week, to chat with me again or to listen to me.
- 1:09And this week, I have a special, I would say young lady.
- 1:12She'd be younger than me.
- 1:15Andrea Ivanka.
- 1:16And Andrea and I had the privilege of probably meeting each other about a year ago at a
- 1:21networking event.
- 1:22And I I've really enjoyed some time with her with some amazing treatments that I've been
- 1:28involved with.
- 1:29So, I'm going to read a little bit about her bio, but I want Anne to I want you to get to
- 1:33know Andrea, and you'll you've got a sense in why I think she's such a special person.
- 1:38So, Andrea is an international speaker and achievement coach.
- 1:42She comes from a background that's also always been about education and empowering as aspiring
- 1:47leaders.
- 1:48She's the creator of the Success Wheel solution and the founder of the ignite mentorship
- 1:55program.
- 1:56Where she energizes, like minded community of people to step powerfully into the ver their
- 2:03version of their best life.
- 2:06And she's done a lot of amazing things.
- 2:08She's spoken to over 10,000 people worldwide.
- 2:11She's been on TV shows.
- 2:13She shared the stage with some major tycoons, multimillionaires at a list celebrities, which
- 2:20I'd love to have her to tell you a little bit more and Andra has the gift of connection from
- 2:27what my experience is, and she also connects people on a profound level, after spent
- 2:35spending 2 days with her.
- 2:37I think I drank the juice.
- 2:41So I'd love for, Andrea to share a bit about herself and anything that I would have missed.
- 2:48You, Roxanne.
- 2:49It it's been such a pleasure getting to know you as well over, I think, like, the last year
- 2:54or so.
- 2:55There's something really special when you connect with people that not just are really
- 3:00good at what they do, but really wanna make a difference in the world, and they're to some
- 3:04big things.
- 3:04And I think that's what what drew us together is we've gotten a bigger vision of what we
- 3:09wanna accomplish in the world.
- 3:10So thank you so much for for having me on today.
- 3:13And I think one of the things that's become so important to me as I've taken this
- 3:18entrepreneurial journey where I came from, I mean, I tell people this and They have a hard
- 3:22time believing me.
- 3:23I used to be so shy.
- 3:26So introverted that I couldn't talk to anybody.
- 3:29I mean, if I had to go up and talk to even one person, I would turn his red as a cook lobster
- 3:35and and be out the door in tears.
- 3:37And I've seen that in periods.
- 3:39Periods where she gets excited or something that she gets wrecked.
- 3:45I have a lot of energy.
- 3:46I it was just it was I couldn't talk to anybody, and I remember I don't know if you've
- 3:52ever had one of these moments where I almost felt like I was a fly on the wall looking at my
- 3:57life, and I just knew something needed to change because I felt like it was just passing
- 4:02me by.
- 4:03And everybody around me was having these amazing experiences, and here I was.
- 4:07I couldn't like, I was so shy to let myself just be.
- 4:11And I felt like the me that I was inside was was big and full of life, but if you looked at
- 4:18how I spent my time with my nose stuck in the book, because, I mean, I still read a lot.
- 4:21I always say I'm a closet nerd big time.
- 4:24It just I couldn't talk to anybody.
- 4:26So that's really where this whole journey started from was I wanted my life to change.
- 4:31And as a result, I ended up living and traveling overseas.
- 4:35I ended up doing consulting in in the UK and China.
- 4:39I lived in Mexico for a few years, and learned a lot about people along the way, especially
- 4:44because I didn't speak the language in a lot of the countries.
- 4:46And so I had to learn about nonverbal communication and what made people tick and
- 4:51eventually ended up back in Canada.
- 4:53And why did you start a business after a couple of other steps in between there?
- 4:59So it's been interesting.
- 5:00So you intuitively, like, and I think travel is the best education, you know, There's the
- 5:07academic root, and then there's the academic along with the life root, which just sounds
- 5:11like the one that you've taken.
- 5:13So tell me what did you learn?
- 5:15Like, when you're in China, or Mexico.
- 5:21And you can't speak the language.
- 5:23Like, How how do you I'm not sure I could do it, but how did you get around?
- 5:30I think First, when I moved to Mexico, I actually ended up there for 3 years.
- 5:34Originally, the plan was to be there for 1 year.
- 5:36I ended up there for 3.
- 5:37And in the 1st few months, It was literally with a dictionary in hand and just knowing
- 5:45where I needed to go.
- 5:46I I would just force myself to get out.
- 5:49So this was the beginning to me starting to emerge from being really shy.
- 5:53I mean, when when I do things, I really jump in the whole heart of the one of the biggest
- 5:58things I realized was when you treat people with respect, you're kind to them, you smile,
- 6:05I've one of the biggest things I've learned is learning how to say thank you in different
- 6:09languages just opens up doors, and it was those little things step by step.
- 6:14And realized that even though we weren't speaking the same language, we really were very
- 6:19similar at heart.
- 6:21Right?
- 6:21People wanted to be treated well, and I found that pretty much everywhere I've lived around
- 6:24the world.
- 6:25Mhmm.
- 6:26They you know, it's something that, you know, I I've heard the term that a smile is like a big,
- 6:31warm hug.
- 6:32And, and I know you smile a lot, and so do I, like, you know, because sometimes that's all
- 6:39someone might need to open up.
- 6:41And then when you're reading, not knowing the language, I would think you're lit you're
- 6:44looking at the nonverbals so much more and becoming more enthused.
- 6:49Yeah.
- 6:50On now as a as a professional in this industry with with coaching people, I had to learn a lot
- 6:57about nonverbal communication as well because so much of our communication is nonverbal.
- 7:01And I look back now, and I think so many of those experiences shaped me because as I was
- 7:06going along the way, I was processing all of this at a very unconscious level.
- 7:11And I remember recently having a conversation with my sister-in-law.
- 7:15She is a border guard at Toronto Pearson Airport on the drug squad.
- 7:18And she's got a fascinating job, and she tells us how they are so trained to pick up on the
- 7:25littlest micro movements, even in in the eyes and the way people carry themselves.
- 7:30And she said something so interesting to me.
- 7:32She said, we're all doing it all the time anyways.
- 7:35They're just a little more trained on what to look out for.
- 7:37So it makes you realize we're we're always communicating.
- 7:40We don't always think we are.
- 7:43When you start learning how to do it a little more effectively, and you you come with hope
- 7:46and body language, that says, like, I'm I'm here.
- 7:49I'm here to be of service.
- 7:51I'm a good person just like you.
- 7:53I find it really just takes down the walls with people and You've seen this when when we've
- 7:57been together as well.
- 7:58I mean, the community that gets created is just because we're all coming from that space,
- 8:03really safe and really open.
- 8:05That makes sense?
- 8:06Yes.
- 8:06Absolutely.
- 8:07Because I know, we've talked about different environments, and I I I really want you to talk
- 8:13about how you coach differently because I think, as a speaker and you as being as an
- 8:21international speaker also, You've been in some pretty big environments, and you've been around
- 8:27some, you know, big heavy hitters.
- 8:30But I want to talk to kind of the world because people that are looking for a good coach
- 8:35sometimes may not know what to look for, and I know I've been of that, Andrea, over the years.
- 8:42Yeah.
- 8:43You know, and so I want I think that's a good thing to share or, you know, help the listeners
- 8:48understand what is it about that you've learned about coaching and what makes you unique?
- 8:53Because I I've experienced 2 days with you.
- 8:56And I was like, okay.
- 8:57Where do I sign up?
- 8:58Right?
- 8:58Because you just disarmed people in such a loving, kind, gentle way.
- 9:05That at the end of it, there was no, barriers, really.
- 9:10We were being real.
- 9:12We were showing our vulnerabilities, a lot of things.
- 9:16So tell me, tell, tell people listening, kind of what you learned along the way and what what
- 9:23helps this introverted young lady come to such a pouch a powerhouse that allows people to
- 9:29achieve things that they do at the level that they do when they work with you.
- 9:36Than me.
- 9:37Oh my god.
- 9:38I can't believe it.
- 9:39I I would
- 9:40be considered the elder of the 2.
- 9:43It's it's I I'm luckily, I have very good skin, I think.
- 9:49What have I learned along the way?
- 9:52One of the biggest things that I wish I had paid attention to a little earlier that I kinda
- 9:58learned for Knox Way was to pay attention to my intuition.
- 10:03I think a lot of us grew up, at least for me, I can say grew up listening to Tony Brown's last
- 10:11Wow.
- 10:11I just need those two names up.
- 10:13I just need just, like oh, I
- 10:15just placed them in my head.
- 10:17And and you had the privilege of actually meeting less ground recently.
- 10:20Congratulations.
- 10:20That was so cool seeing it up on stage like that.
- 10:23That was amazing.
- 10:24And so we we grew off very let's take action.
- 10:28Let's be motivated.
- 10:29Let's be hungry.
- 10:31And one of the things that I didn't realize was there's also a time of growth in a time when
- 10:38you're building foundations and planting seeds and coming across certain people in in the
- 10:44coaching world and in the It's a little bit like the wild wild left right now.
- 10:49It was constantly like, okay.
- 10:51If you don't do this, it means you're not committed and it means you're not motivated and
- 10:55all of that.
- 10:56And that's not always the case.
- 10:58Sometimes you're in a growth stage.
- 11:00And so you're learning the skills putting foundations, putting systems into place.
- 11:05Those are all still action steps.
- 11:07And I think, like I said, just to bring it back around, that intuition where sometimes I felt
- 11:15like maybe this isn't the best fit for me.
- 11:19I'm not really sure about it, but because I almost wanted to prove myself.
- 11:22Okay.
- 11:23Yes.
- 11:23I'm an action taker.
- 11:24Yes.
- 11:24I'm committed to making a difference in the world.
- 11:26Yes.
- 11:26I'm committed.
- 11:28And that needs to prove myself to other people externally.
- 11:33It's somewhere where I made decisions that didn't end up really giving me the return on
- 11:38investment or what I had wanted to get out of it because they didn't really come from the
- 11:43right reason, right, where I almost wanted proof versus other things where I really took
- 11:49some time to connect with somebody.
- 11:50I got to see if we clicked.
- 11:52Did they align with my values?
- 11:53Did they align with what I wanna do in the world because I've had some amazing coaches.
- 11:58One of my first coaches is now my accountability buddy because we're more
- 12:01colleagues at this point.
- 12:03And I would say that's been one of the biggest things that I've learned is there is a space to
- 12:09to pay attention to your intuition and and what you're gut really telling you, and there's all
- 12:14the science now behind all the emotional receptors we have in our gut and whatnot.
- 12:19So there is actually some some truth to it.
- 12:21It's not just you know, we lose stuff out there anymore.
- 12:24So one of the things I've And
- 12:26and that's so true, right?
- 12:27Because, okay, talking about what the what I've done and, stepping into coaching and speaking
- 12:34and training.
- 12:37It's already kind of shifting over There's this urgency in you within me, I should say.
- 12:43That wants to get it all done.
- 12:44Right?
- 12:44Like, so I'm just gonna dive off that high platform and I'm gonna land.
- 12:51And, you know, you wanna do it really, really quick because you're thinking, wow, this is
- 12:57really what I want to do.
- 12:58And That's interesting that you said what you said.
- 13:00It's about I looked at that chart you sent out, by the way.
- 13:03Oh, I am, taking the business?
- 13:05Yes.
- 13:05And I probably be a good thing to discuss, but it isn't it so true that sometimes you need to
- 13:12just learn and percolate before you kind of launch.
- 13:17And I know someone like my personality, I'm like, okay.
- 13:20I'm ready.
- 13:20I'm ready.
- 13:21I'm ready.
- 13:21And I'm like, oh, no.
- 13:22I should be in reverse.
- 13:24So that's where I could see the value of someone coaching you because you've been there.
- 13:29You know, you've kind of done certain things that you said.
- 13:31There's, like, totally focused.
- 13:33And now you're kind of really going from that deep intuitive dot and living outward from
- 13:42there.
- 13:42And I think that's that's the valuable lesson that I think I've learned, by just slowing down
- 13:47and listening.
- 13:49Yeah.
- 13:50Well, there's there's always a combination.
- 13:52You've got your gut and your your emotional spiritual, like, all of that that makes you
- 13:57you.
- 13:58And then you've got structures and systems.
- 14:00And I think sometimes, we we take a look at people that have been in the industry for
- 14:05really long and they're sharing their stories, And we hear that this happened in a year or 2
- 14:12years or 3 years, and they've talked about their struggles.
- 14:15And then, you know, if something happens, it's not full hero's journey story.
- 14:19And that's where they're successful, but what most people don't really really processes the
- 14:25journey that took them to that hero's point where there was a turnaround.
- 14:30And so we take a look, and there's all the I think the outward trappings of success that are
- 14:34there because they worked for them.
- 14:36And you take a look at almost that maybe 10, and you're maybe at step 1 or 2, thinking that
- 14:43you should be at step 10, and then you get that shiny object syndrome.
- 14:47Like, oh my god.
- 14:47I have to get my branding and my deal and and my website and my business cards, and I have to
- 14:54get clients, and I have to be speaking, and I have to run webinars, and I have to run
- 14:57workshops.
- 14:57Especially in this industry.
- 14:59And before you know it, you're all caught up and snarled up and then going, oh, man.
- 15:03It's like, what did I tie myself up for?
- 15:06And it's just a matter of being systematic in addition to using the intuition and and
- 15:11listening to yourself to be able to do that.
- 15:14I know One thing that was super, super important to me.
- 15:17And I got a little criticized for this was that I wasn't growing faster, because I'm really
- 15:23good at got the work I do with my clients was it was really important to me to have a proven
- 15:27foundation of success with my clients.
- 15:30And that meant that they were actually successful at what they got coached for.
- 15:33And I'm not looking for a 100% success rate.
- 15:36I'm not a genie in a bottle.
- 15:38Like, you know, it's not really realistic.
- 15:41I wanted to have a proven track record.
- 15:43And so now that I've done that for a few years, now I'm ready, and I feel ready to take it to a
- 15:49bigger level.
- 15:49And I think that's really important for people to know that it's it's okay to lay your
- 15:53foundation and pay attention to what you're doing in your own progress.
- 15:57You can look to the outside stuff for inspiration to come motivated, but when you
- 16:02compare yourself, that's when you end up in this gap and you feel happy, really, because
- 16:08it's like, oh, this person's doing that, and this person's doing that.
- 16:11And
- 16:11And I that's so true.
- 16:13Right?
- 16:13Like, haven't stepped into it myself.
- 16:15You know, that shiny objects kind of syndrome, I think that was, you know, I I can so relate
- 16:20because I wanted to speak and I wanted to train and I wanted to coach and you know, and then
- 16:25and then everything at all at once.
- 16:27And then somebody gave me a piece of advice, and I, you know, and they said to me, do one
- 16:33thing.
- 16:33And I went, what?
- 16:35They said, do one thing.
- 16:38I'm like, like, one thing, one thing, and they go, yeah, one thing.
- 16:41And in retrospect, that was a slowing down, which is what you're describing because you
- 16:47can't start a course.
- 16:48You can't start speaking.
- 16:50It's can't start coaching and, you know, and start a pot series all at once because you're
- 16:55gonna get burnt out.
- 16:57Because they all have back end processes that go with them.
- 17:00It's not just if you think about it, and this is what one of my mentors said.
- 17:04He said, think of a front stage, think of a backstage.
- 17:07Front stage is just what your client, the world sees.
- 17:10But to have any kind of a show, there's a whole lot going on in the backstage.
- 17:15So if you're doing podcast and speaking, I mean, you're learning speaking skills.
- 17:19You're learning how to invite people to events.
- 17:21You're learning how to invite people in.
- 17:24You're learning how to make sales and discovery calls and track sales and track follow-up.
- 17:30And, like, all of that, there's a whole back end process.
- 17:34And as long as you know that, it's okay because then it's, like, the elephant.
- 17:38Right?
- 17:38You you fight it off one one piece at a time.
- 17:40But when you just, like I said, you see the whole outside stuff from other people are
- 17:44doing, and then you jump into that in your 1st year or so, it it can get really overwhelming
- 17:50for people.
- 17:51And that's, I think, where some people got burnt out in traded because they just didn't
- 17:55know that this is what they were signing up for.
- 17:57But if you know and you've got a good mentor keeping you accountable and keeping you on
- 18:01track, and that's a lot of what what I do with people.
- 18:04Then it becomes easier because then you celebrate your progress as you're going along.
- 18:08And so it's more fun.
- 18:11Right.
- 18:11And I think that's the value of a of a good, mentor business coach is, someone that says
- 18:20you've got all these phenomenal things, right, which I think we under like someone like
- 18:24myself, you know, shifting from one one career to another, answering
- 18:29you too much experience as well already under your belt.
- 18:32I mean, like, you've already got stuff that other people don't even.
- 18:36Right?
- 18:37So Right.
- 18:37But but still, likewise, I can relate to what you said.
- 18:41I'm looking at the guy or the lady up there, and I'm not seeing the back systems that got
- 18:48created and kind of the alignments that they had to make.
- 18:53And I'm you know, and then if you, like, you do with that unfair comparison, how come I'm not
- 18:57And why aren't I doing blah blah blah blah, having a coach, like you said, to really help
- 19:03you ground yourself and say, where are you?
- 19:07What skills do you bring?
- 19:08What is one thing which is value that one thing that you can focus on becomes really, really
- 19:17pivotal as you, as you start to build a business.
- 19:19And I
- 19:20know that's something that I left into, not having the knowledge.
- 19:25And, I was a bit haphazard at times and got into a big coaching program when I really had
- 19:31no business in retrospect being there.
- 19:34And, it was a was a tough thing.
- 19:38And now I'm kind of going backwards to kind of say, okay, what one thing should I approach?
- 19:43And had I met someone like you, earlier, it would have it would have already helped me with
- 19:49that.
- 19:50Yeah.
- 19:50And I think that's thank you.
- 19:52And that's one of the things that I I was sharing with you just before we started
- 19:55recording that we said in our in our company.
- 19:58This is our year for visibility because now that we've built that foundation, I've heard it
- 20:03not just from you, but from other people that have met me in the last year.
- 20:06Like, if I had only met you, And so it's one of those things where I'm going, okay.
- 20:11But I'm an entrepreneur too.
- 20:13I'm doing the exact same thing as you building my foundation.
- 20:16Right?
- 20:17And So it's a journey for all of us.
- 20:19And
- 20:21I like the transparency.
- 20:22I think that's what I think, you know, for me, I'm a pretty Hence, the name of the show
- 20:28authentic living with Roxanne, but I'm pretty authentic and transparent.
- 20:33And what I like about what you what the the interact I've had with you, and Sophia is that,
- 20:38who is her, fiance business partner, is that you guys are still transparent.
- 20:43Like, when you tell us what's behind the house.
- 20:47So a lot of the other coaches, I don't know that they do it as explicitly.
- 20:57Show show me and the others that I know I've been in training with with you.
- 21:01Thank you.
- 21:02Well, something somebody said once really resonated with me.
- 21:05They said, who's the best person to teach a second grader math?
- 21:10A 4th grader, not somebody in university.
- 21:13And so sometimes just having somebody that's a couple of steps ahead is enough to get you to
- 21:18your next level.
- 21:20And I always tell people if if you're gonna look for a coach and, if this was a grain of
- 21:24salt, because this is completely my opinion, is does that coach either have a coach or a
- 21:32mentor?
- 21:33Are they accountable somebody?
- 21:35Are they in a community?
- 21:36What are they doing for themselves?
- 21:38Because when you're looking at investing in coaching, you've got different levels of
- 21:43programs.
- 21:44Right?
- 21:44You've got everything from the online, so the kind of things that we do, which are are really
- 21:49unique and and very hybrid programs to high level programs.
- 21:53And if you've got somebody that has been invested in themselves and their own growth,
- 21:56and I'm not talking about, okay, I did SEO course or about how to podcast, but am I
- 22:01actually working with somebody that's growing me and keeping me accountable.
- 22:06I I think I would be hesitant to work with that kind of a person as a coach.
- 22:11It's like, does your dentist have a dentist kind of thing because there's certain things
- 22:14that you cannot do on yourself.
- 22:16Right?
- 22:16It's just
- 22:17Absolutely.
- 22:17I, you know, and the smartest people need coaches.
- 22:20That's the thing.
- 22:20Right?
- 22:21I heard something on a podcast That said you need a plus minus.
- 22:25So you need someone ahead of you.
- 22:28You need somebody at the same stage as you as an admin, like, a, like, a, you call it account
- 22:33partner, and you need someone, that's starting off maybe a little bit behind you.
- 22:39If you're gonna you can help that person then the accountability partner says, Hey, did you
- 22:45make those 5 calls, or did you do X Y Z?
- 22:47And the person ahead of you gives you the structure because they've done it, and they
- 22:52they're they're even further ahead on you, and they've already been at the gap that you're at.
- 22:57You're so right, honestly.
- 22:58You know, and I just heard that, and I went Oh my goodness.
- 23:01That is so basic, but such a pebble, you know, like a Wow.
- 23:08I I gained a lot from that because I I always try to help others if I can and if I have the
- 23:12knowledge.
- 23:13I've just started to check-in with somebody you know, that's right at where I'm at.
- 23:18And I'm obviously trying to go to the other level to, you know, coach up.
- 23:24And, kinda just trying to make the shift to to get everything done in a day.
- 23:30Right?
- 23:30Yeah.
- 23:31Being an entrepreneur is not an easy job.
- 23:34And it's it's gonna be stressful, but it's so invigorating all at the same time.
- 23:38Oh, rewarding.
- 23:40Well, one of the the things that I do with my accountability partners is just a a fun little
- 23:45tool is we started using Roxanne, the the free version of the app, and it's like walkie
- 23:50talkies for adults.
- 23:51Well, tell me about it.
- 23:52What's it called?
- 23:53Voxxer, voxxer, and it's literally an app that you can put on your phone.
- 23:59And what I love about it, if you remember walkie talkies when you were a kid, you can
- 24:03leave the person a message, and they get back to it whenever they have a chance.
- 24:09So it's like you've got this ongoing conversation.
- 24:12And so what what my partner and I do is we just do the sometimes it's every day, sometimes
- 24:16every 2 days.
- 24:17Just a little check-in on how you're doing with we talked about, here's what's going on.
- 24:21And I know I left one for her last night at at quarter to 12 because I was just wide awake and
- 24:27super excited about something, knowing that it wasn't gonna ping like a text message or any of
- 24:32that, and she got to it this morning when it worked for her.
- 24:35So it's it's a great little tool.
- 24:37That's really good for accountability.
- 24:39And we know even with our programs, with everything we do, we talk about the Success
- 24:44Wheel solution.
- 24:46One of the key drivers in all of that is accountability because without it, I mean, when
- 24:52nobody knows what you're doing, especially as an entrepreneur, if you're a solo printer or a
- 24:56small business owner, where you've only got a couple of people in your team, it's very easy
- 25:00when nobody knows what you're up to to just, well, you know, today, I'm not feeling so good,
- 25:06or the weather's so nice.
- 25:07I'm gonna go for Margarita's kind of thing, and then are.
- 25:10You know, we we we all need a little bit of accountability.
- 25:13I think so.
- 25:14And and like myself, you know, I have a small group around me, And you're right because
- 25:21sometimes it gets tough and you it's it could be, Hey, how are you doing?
- 25:26This really sucks today or Oh my goodness.
- 25:30This was a lot more work than I thought, or, wow, I did this, and you couldn't believe what
- 25:35happened.
- 25:35And I got to this, and then this happened, and then that door opened.
- 25:39So you're right.
- 25:40It's because the success is, you just wanna tell somebody else to say, I just did black,
- 25:45black, black, And then they go, wow.
- 25:48Right?
- 25:49You know, I just got, like, invited to go to Paris.
- 25:52This is just not.
- 25:53Yeah.
- 25:55And it's a psychological, conference that I was asked to speak at when I came back to vacation
- 26:01and missed missed the message on LinkedIn.
- 26:05Oh.
- 26:07And I went, oh my and I just followed up, and they're just connecting But, you know, those
- 26:12are little things.
- 26:12Right?
- 26:13Then, I mean, in the big scheme of things, wow, it's gonna be, you know, if I go, it's gonna be
- 26:17in Paris.
- 26:18I've been accepted just to do those types of things.
- 26:21Yeah.
- 26:21You know, then, you know, then you roll into the other thing.
- 26:24Right?
- 26:24And then and then when it gets tough again, you don't stop, like, to your point to relish in
- 26:30those moments to say, I did this yesterday.
- 26:34Yeah.
- 26:34It's it's really interesting that you mentioned that with what we our ignite mentorship
- 26:39program.
- 26:39One of the things that we do is weekly accountability journals and email that sent out
- 26:43on Thursdays.
- 26:44It's very and everybody in the program knows that if they want my eyes on it, I've got an
- 26:48hour in the schedule on Friday mornings.
- 26:50I read all of them.
- 26:51I respond to them And the first thing that we talk about is let's celebrate your win.
- 26:56Let's celebrate them all.
- 26:57What progress did you make this week on on the things that you were committed to doing?
- 27:01Because by doing that as well, we're reprogramming a lot of our neuro athletes
- 27:05because for a lot of us, the way we grew up in school, and I think you and I maybe talked
- 27:09about this already.
- 27:10We started a 100 and we start attracting.
- 27:12And this is why gaming is so addictive is they start at 0 and get points.
- 27:17Right?
- 27:17And so it becomes the the more people feel good, the better they feel, the more they're
- 27:22gonna do more of the things that they need to do.
- 27:25And she's so important when you're an entrepreneur because you're gonna do so many
- 27:29things that are new.
- 27:31And when they're new, guess what?
- 27:33This freaks out.
- 27:34Your amygdala goals.
- 27:34Ah, right?
- 27:38Oh, yeah.
- 27:38It goes, oh my god.
- 27:39What am I doing?
- 27:42Really at the heart of it, it's going, oh my god.
- 27:43You're gonna die.
- 27:44That's that's really what your amygdala is doing for you.
- 27:47And by celebrating the success every week, you're also documenting progress.
- 27:53Because often when we make progress, let's say if I started here, and I ended up over here,
- 27:58but I'm still facing this way because I know I wanna get here.
- 28:01I don't realize how far it's come.
- 28:02I've actually gotta turn around and look.
- 28:04Back to where I came from and go, wow.
- 28:06Look at everything I did because then you've also got that internal motivation and that
- 28:10internal drive keep doing more.
- 28:12But when you never look back and you never celebrate those accomplishments and those wins,
- 28:16let's face it.
- 28:17What do most of us do?
- 28:18Oh, okay.
- 28:18Here's the list of everything else that has to be done for now.
- 28:21Week.
- 28:22Right?
- 28:23And then you're thinking, I should go have that Margarita now.
- 28:26Yeah.
- 28:27You know, why did I get myself into this?
- 28:29Right?
- 28:29I think you're so right because I was, I was applying for to become a professional speaker.
- 28:34So I had to sit down and basically recognize what I'd done the year before.
- 28:39And then I went, Oh my, wow.
- 28:42Yeah.
- 28:42It's a lot.
- 28:43Cause I, in in all fairness, had not been really doing that.
- 28:47And I could see the value.
- 28:48And then I went, wow.
- 28:50Right?
- 28:50Cause you're onto the next thing, onto the next thing, and, you know, probably not having it
- 28:56mapped out in front of me, I really didn't kind of look at it and say, oh, this goes in this
- 29:00bucket.
- 29:01I did this.
- 29:01I've learned this.
- 29:02I won't do that again.
- 29:04All those things, and it's it's risky.
- 29:06It really helps you.
- 29:07So for the average person listening, Andrea, and, some people, you know, still have full
- 29:13time jobs and their have this passion, We're not suggesting everybody go out and, you know,
- 29:18quit your full time job.
- 29:19Maybe it's a passion you just have and you wanna do more of it, or maybe you're the type
- 29:24of person that's kinda like me that's kinda stepping away and and and kind of going full
- 29:30time into speaking and trading.
- 29:32Mhmm.
- 29:32What kind of
- 29:33what kind of advice would you give to someone like that to listening?
- 29:38I would say definitely get surrounded by the right kind of community because I know for us,
- 29:45even here, you're a part of it, our social leader circle.
- 29:48Is we have some people that are not entrepreneurs, but they have what I call the
- 29:52entrepreneurial spirit.
- 29:53There's something leadership in them might wanna one of the people there, Cassandra.
- 29:58She wants to meet the minister of education.
- 30:00She's got some big goals.
- 30:01Who's this?
- 30:02Who's this?
- 30:03Cassandra.
- 30:04Oh, wow.
- 30:05Oh, wow.
- 30:06Yeah.
- 30:06She's really got some big goals to ask my shout out to you.
- 30:10Hi.
- 30:12So I think it's so important to surround yourself with people that are going to be
- 30:15supportive because you may end up staying in the role that you're in or in the industry that
- 30:21you're in as an employee but end up doing something that creates change from within.
- 30:25For the people that are transitioning, I think it's so important to work with somebody that's
- 30:30done it because there's a whole host of emotions that comes up.
- 30:35There's things to consider.
- 30:37I mean, some people are, I'm gonna say, maybe smarter than me where they have a plan.
- 30:42I just kinda went full tilt with the leave.
- 30:48But I think being around people that know what you're going through and somebody that can
- 30:52guide you and mentor you through the process is is going to help and understand the stages that
- 30:56you're going to go through from a structures perspective, through an emotional perspective
- 31:02from understanding the mindset because when you go, let's say from working a corporate job or a
- 31:07job where you've had a steady paycheck to all of a sudden, the sky is the limit because it's
- 31:13all up to you, it it's like the positive and the negative at the same time.
- 31:17It's like, it's all up to me.
- 31:18I can do anything I want.
- 31:19Oh, shit.
- 31:19It's all up to me.
- 31:22Yeah.
- 31:22That that that second week paycheck's not gonna come.
- 31:26Right.
- 31:26So The other part of it.
- 31:28Yeah.
- 31:28It's a whole shift, and that actually does mean you need to get some skills around selling.
- 31:34And for so many people, selling is like, right?
- 31:38There was this book by Daniel Pink called, selling is human, and he wrote drive and all of
- 31:44these fabulous books.
- 31:46And they did this study and they interviewed, I don't know, how many hundreds of people in the
- 31:50book.
- 31:50And they said, what's the first thing you think of when you think of sales?
- 31:54And what do you think most people said Roxanne?
- 31:58So used car salesman?
- 32:00Exactly.
- 32:01Mhmm.
- 32:01Right on.
- 32:02And, like, every single person I've asked this question to, that's exactly their answer as
- 32:07well.
- 32:07So you think about it, now you've started a business.
- 32:10And if this going on unconsciously is, well, sales means used car salesman, we use these
- 32:15Miami, whatever other words are associated with it.
- 32:18And you know you're not that person, and you would never wanna be that person because your
- 32:22service and value Well, guess what yourself suffer?
- 32:25Because unconsciously, you actually stop yourself because you don't wanna be that
- 32:29person, and that's really where it's important to me.
- 32:32This is where I think the coaching industry.
- 32:35If you've got a good pitch that understands how your beliefs actually your your actions and
- 32:42your skills and all of that can walk you through that whole cycle the way we do.
- 32:46We'll get you through that because let's face it.
- 32:49Ross at you, and I know this information is a dime a dozen.
- 32:53Like, really, we could probably Google most of the information that want, we can take online
- 32:59courses.
- 32:59So why would people hire somebody like you?
- 33:02Why would people hire somebody like me?
- 33:05It's really to get them through that process that they're shifting and going in as a person
- 33:10because the information's there.
- 33:12If you wanted to find it, you could.
- 33:14Probably find a lot of it for free and a lot of us provide it for free to give value, but it's
- 33:18really that's why you work with somebody.
- 33:19So that that would be the recommendation that I give to somebody is either get into a community
- 33:24or or hire somebody.
- 33:27When I first started my business, I hired a coach.
- 33:30So all the other people that took training with me, they were all swapping with one another.
- 33:34And in my second year, I broke 6 figures in sales, which most people don't do in the
- 33:38coaching industry.
- 33:39They just they don't.
- 33:40And they all said to me, what are you doing that?
- 33:42We're not doing.
- 33:43I said, I hired a coach.
- 33:45I let myself be a client because I knew I was getting in my own way.
- 33:49So I hired a coach to clean up my own junk in my attic.
- 33:55You had to do some spring cleaning, did you?
- 33:57I I I get I get it too.
- 33:58And,
- 33:59I still do.
- 34:00It's it's not like a one time thing.
- 34:02This is permanent investment in myself.
- 34:05I always have a coach, and I always have a mentor because with every level that I grow,
- 34:10now there's new things that didn't stop me down here.
- 34:13Weren't even been an issue.
- 34:13I mean, when I was first starting out, it was gonna even make enough money to support myself.
- 34:17But it was all, like, that scarcity mentality.
- 34:19Now it's more about Well, not quite there yet, but I'm now thinking about building legacy and
- 34:25how do I get my team to grow and how can we serve more people?
- 34:27So the the belief that were limiting me recently was really now about visibility and
- 34:32what are people gonna say if, you know, if you see me, I myself, like, I say silly things
- 34:37sometimes, sometimes swear words pop out of my mouth.
- 34:39Sometimes I say something.
- 34:41I'm like, oh my god.
- 34:41That is not what I Sometimes
- 34:43she might be known to say the odd bad word that I you know, it's not meant in bad way.
- 34:48It just goes flying out and we go, she goes, come and go, whoops.
- 34:53Whoops.
- 34:54Right?
- 34:55So so those were some of the beliefs that I was working on tackling this year with with my
- 34:59coach and going okay.
- 35:00How do we get at the root of it?
- 35:02How do we clear it?
- 35:02And then we did, and now I'm moving on.
- 35:04And so once I hit this level, there's gonna be other things that aren't even a consideration
- 35:09now.
- 35:09So I think that would be, like, the the underlying piece of advice.
- 35:14And I know I've been talking for a bit.
- 35:16So I'll finish with this.
- 35:17Is is When you think about investing in coaching or training, think of it as something
- 35:22that's going to be ongoing.
- 35:24All the people that I've met in the last 3 years that are top earners in their industries,
- 35:29what they all have consistently, and they've been in business for far longer than I have.
- 35:33And I just, like, I feel so privileged.
- 35:34I'm, like, a little funds.
- 35:35I shook up all of their wisdom.
- 35:37They all said they've always had somebody that's been a coach or mentor to them.
- 35:41And I just think it's important.
- 35:44Absolutely.
- 35:45And I think, you know, the value that I hear, in picking a coach is important.
- 35:51So intuition, you want somebody that allows you to connect to you, right, and not kinda say, do
- 35:58what that person's doing out on stage or whatever.
- 36:01So what is what is uniquely different about Andrea or Roxanne and how are we gonna show
- 36:05that to the world?
- 36:07You want somebody that knows the business, right, and they've actually done it.
- 36:12So whether it's a, you know, fitness coach or a business coach or relationship coach, someone
- 36:19that's actually living, what they're talking about, or have lived it and melted from there.
- 36:26Know that there's stages.
- 36:27You're not gonna be at the pinnacle.
- 36:29You have to start crawling like a baby at first.
- 36:33And eventually, you're gonna make steps up.
- 36:35Yep.
- 36:36Anything else that you think would be important for people to consider?
- 36:40Community being surrounded by goods, people that value you and give you good feedback.
- 36:47And sometimes they tell you like it is because sometimes you need sometimes you need to hear
- 36:51that and you go, oh, okay.
- 36:53I was kinda thinking that, but I don't know if I wanted to tell myself that, but having having
- 36:58someone give you the streets.
- 36:59Goods, I call it.
- 37:00Sometimes there's a good thing about your community and your coach also.
- 37:04Oh, yeah.
- 37:04Your your coach has to be able to call you on your stuff.
- 37:08And I think that's where beyond your intuition, somebody that you click with, somebody that you
- 37:13can let your walls down in touch has when you go through those, those ups and then those
- 37:18downs in business, that's they're normal.
- 37:22You've you've gotta have a safe space with somebody that you can really talk to and go,
- 37:26hey.
- 37:26I'm struggling with this.
- 37:27And maybe even if your coach doesn't have the answer, at least maybe they're connected a
- 37:31community where they can go finance or for you, or they're willing to do that for you, I think,
- 37:36is is very important.
- 37:37So somebody that you click with or you share the same value.
- 37:41There's there's just something about them that you go, okay.
- 37:44I feel like I'm in in good hands.
- 37:46And I'm gonna say something that, again, take it with a grain of salt because it's my
- 37:52opinion.
- 37:53It's somebody that's got a track record if they've been in the industry for a while.
- 37:58So if if you're working with somebody that's just starting out and if you're somebody that
- 38:03is starting out in this industry.
- 38:04I mean, you've gotta start somewhere.
- 38:06You're not gonna have a proven track record yet, but the industry has a track record use
- 38:11those kinds of statistics and build yourself up.
- 38:14The more good work you do with people, the more you're focused on them getting the results,
- 38:18you're gonna build both things up.
- 38:20And so thinking about when you're gonna work with somebody, do they already have a track
- 38:26record or, like, where are they and and be okay with it?
- 38:29Because everybody's gotta start from somewhere.
- 38:31Right?
- 38:31If if I said, okay.
- 38:32I've been in this industry.
- 38:33We're we're in our 4th year now, and I didn't have any client success stories, and I didn't
- 38:38have any success in my own life to show for it.
- 38:40Maybe I'd be going.
- 38:41I'm not in the right industry.
- 38:42Right?
- 38:43Right.
- 38:43And and and that connection piece, I think, is very important when you coach with someone to
- 38:49know that you could work through things.
- 38:50Like, you know, if you've kind of feel like you're hitting a wall or you and your coach are
- 38:55out of line or something's blocking, like, to be have that trust within your coach to be able
- 39:00to say Hey, Andrea.
- 39:02You know, I I'm feeling out a sink lately, you know, you know, can we talk about it?
- 39:07I'm not sure if it's me.
- 39:08You know, for you and for people to feel safe enough to be able even though it's business,
- 39:12it's business coaching, but to still have that ability or that capacity to have that
- 39:17conversation.
- 39:18You are still a whole person.
- 39:20This is what we always tell people is.
- 39:22We like to think we can separate our personal life and everything that's going on from the
- 39:26business.
- 39:27The more interconnected we are because of technology, because of social media, you're a
- 39:31full person.
- 39:32So if something is going on in your personal life, it's gonna affect what's going on in your
- 39:37business and being able to talk to your coach and go like, you know what?
- 39:40I had a really crappy night.
- 39:42My kid went to the hospital.
- 39:43I to get up early and I just, like, I feel like I'm completely out of short.
- 39:48That's important.
- 39:49And the other point that you said of when you feel like you're not clicking or when when
- 39:54there's a something in the way, this happens with me and my clients.
- 40:00Frequently, not because there's something in the way, because when they start doing new
- 40:04things, they get really uncomfortable.
- 40:06And so here I am.
- 40:07I'm keeping them accountable going, did you get your stuff done?
- 40:10This is And then
- 40:11you're like, oh, don't wanna talk about it.
- 40:15So I have to understand that and not take it, like, avoid taking it personally because if I
- 40:20took that personally and when Oh my goodness.
- 40:22This person's mad at me or this person's not talking to me, and I didn't actually realize
- 40:26that just part of the stages of growth and people moving through their own internal
- 40:31challenges, then I would take it personally.
- 40:34And so you've gotta be able to have those conversations.
- 40:3790% of the time, what happens with my clients is when they've just gotten started and they're
- 40:42onboarding and they want everything now.
- 40:45They're like, they wanna resolve their whole life, their whole business now.
- 40:48I'm going to do this process.
- 40:53And get you to make the stuff we are moving well instead of just doing another face plant
- 40:58into,
- 40:59you know, tiny objects can do them all over again.
- 41:01Absolutely.
- 41:02Absolutely.
- 41:03So now, Andrea, this has been so valuable because I don't think I've talked to anybody
- 41:09about actually coaching at the at the depth that we did.
- 41:14So tell us a bit about the programs that you actually offer.
- 41:18And, I know I've been involved in a couple of them, and I've had phenomenal success from it.
- 41:24I've been I've taken the thing that I learned from Andrea and launched a stage, in New York
- 41:30and applied, you know, I like you know, in stepping into something big when I went to New
- 41:36York, applied the skills that she had taught me about speaking and on, on touching emotion.
- 41:44And I did that, you know, not too long before I, I went to New York.
- 41:47Thanks.
- 41:48And I, I, I don't know that I, shared that with you, but it's Oh,
- 41:51you had.
- 41:51That's why you see, like, the smile is getting bigger, but you're talking.
- 41:54Are you gonna turn red?
- 41:59Oh, that's that's really nice to hear.
- 42:01Thank you.
- 42:03So you you kinda left me speech this there for a second.
- 42:06When I hear things like that because I said this to you before when we met.
- 42:11I respect you so much.
- 42:12I mean, you've you've already been so successful for years years years, and I think
- 42:18this is really important for anybody that's listening is you never know when you can cheat
- 42:23somebody something that's maybe new to them that makes an impact on their life.
- 42:27It's that one degree of difference over time.
- 42:30That makes an impact.
- 42:32And so thank you so much for for sharing that.
- 42:35So the course that Roxanne's referring to is is a quote called captivate your audience, and
- 42:39it's really all about how to connect from your authentic self with your audience and take them
- 42:45on a journey with you.
- 42:46I think one of the things that people are are really hungry for is feeling that real
- 42:50connection with people, and we're seeing this shift in in a speaking industry.
- 42:56Especially from those hardcore selling from stage type things.
- 43:00I just there some of them are not working as well as they used to, like, put it that way.
- 43:05They still work.
- 43:06There's there's a place for them.
- 43:08I think people are just hungry to really get that real connection and not just feel like
- 43:13they're a walking dollar sign for people.
- 43:14So that was a really that was a really fun program that we did.
- 43:19I especially like the storybook part.
- 43:21And I was very concerned with Carrie.
- 43:25Yeah.
- 43:26With her Australian accent, I was like, okay, I'm not following her.
- 43:30Okay?
- 43:31Because she was like, so expressive.
- 43:34And, you know, I was like, woah, but, you know, after we did that exercise, so the exercise
- 43:39was, we took a storybook, like, I would read to RJ, which I didn't, you know, most of his life
- 43:45until he fled me anymore.
- 43:47And, we, read it like we were just reading it to children and talk about touching emotion.
- 43:54I was like, okay, I'm not gonna follow Carrie again, but when I did it myself
- 43:58There's like a comparison again.
- 44:01No.
- 44:01Exactly.
- 44:02Because it was like, just being myself and being expressive and and reading the storybook,
- 44:08like, I would, like, if I had a pile of kids in front of me, and it allowed me to tap into that
- 44:12when I'm on stage.
- 44:13You know, I think, okay, just have fun with it.
- 44:16Be expressive.
- 44:17Don't be afraid.
- 44:18People are gonna so long as they can feel you and feel your emotion, that's what people are
- 44:22into.
- 44:23So that,
- 44:24What did you see?
- 44:25You you saw that.
- 44:25Hope people reacted to you in your group.
- 44:27Didn't you?
- 44:28Absolutely.
- 44:29And and, you know, so something as simple as that and not to pick on Carrie when she listens
- 44:34to this, but I loved it.
- 44:35I really did because it showed me like, wow.
- 44:38You know, I
- 44:38wanted to hear more.
- 44:40Not exercise, like, everything that we do is one hands on and second multi layered.
- 44:47One of the there was actually 3 things that were really important going on in this
- 44:51exercise.
- 44:52And maybe just by illustrating this as an example, we'll give you an idea how we work
- 44:56with people.
- 44:57We'll take one thing that seems very simple on the surface, but we're actually continuing 2 or
- 45:023 things with it.
- 45:02So with the whole thing about reading a story book is We know that most people really respond
- 45:08to tone of voice.
- 45:10You could have the best content in the world, but if you have somebody that's reading like
- 45:14this and today, I'm going to share with you the statistics of Art Lakes.
- 45:18Right?
- 45:19So we were really driving home the point about tonality.
- 45:23And by having you read a kid's book, what we did was we took away content.
- 45:29Because most people are so focused on what are they gonna say?
- 45:32What are they gonna say?
- 45:33What are they gonna say?
- 45:34That they forget that how they say it.
- 45:36Their tonality in their body language is so much more powerful than the words on their own.
- 45:42So we took away content.
- 45:43We created an environment where you had to focus on tonality.
- 45:48And this is the part that I really liked, which was a stroke of genius on our parts, but this
- 45:52is just the way my brain works, was so many people worry about, well, there's so many other
- 45:57people in the industry.
- 45:59There's, you know, a 1,000,000 other realtors.
- 46:01There's a 1,000,000 other financial advisors.
- 46:02There's a 1,000,000 other coaches, not really a 1,000,000.
- 46:04You got point.
- 46:05There's so many other people doing what I do.
- 46:08How am I going to deliver information that's unique?
- 46:12And so what we did in those small groups was we made sure there wasn't enough books for
- 46:15everybody to have their own individual ones.
- 46:17So some people had to deliver the exact content, and you got to see what happened just
- 46:24by being yourself and your personality, how the audience responded, your group, in this case,
- 46:31completely differently, even though the content was exactly the same.
- 46:35Cause it's one thing for me to sit there and tell you, yes, you are unique.
- 46:40It's completely different for you to experience it in a setting where you go, oh my goodness.
- 46:45They reacted this way to me.
- 46:47I had that effect on people.
- 46:49Right.
- 46:49Right.
- 46:50The feedback we got after that activity was so empowering.
- 46:55Like, people that were terrified to get up and speak after that, they were going, okay.
- 46:59I might actually be able to do this.
- 47:02So
- 47:02So it was powerful for a lot.
- 47:04I know it I know it was powerful for me, so, obviously, it was powerful for other people.
- 47:09So you have the social sir, circle to tell them about that.
- 47:13Well, we have the social leader circle, which Absolutely, Bob.
- 47:16It's an online community that we're we're starting to build it.
- 47:20And so there's a couple of things with this play on words with social leader circle.
- 47:24One idea of a circle means when you're in a circle, nobody's higher.
- 47:28Nobody's lower.
- 47:29It means we're coming together as equals.
- 47:31It means we all have something to offer.
- 47:34We all have something to share.
- 47:35We all have our ups.
- 47:36We all have our downs.
- 47:37We're we're equals in a circle.
- 47:39And the idea of social leaders, 1, social is on social media, but being social and actually
- 47:44getting out there, making a difference in the world, and leaders is really about stepping
- 47:48into leadership.
- 47:49So what we do on the social leaders circle is it's a connection forum, an accountability
- 47:55forum, private based and it's also where we do our how tos.
- 48:00So one of the things that I was finding, and I don't know if you might have found this as
- 48:03well, Roxanne.
- 48:04Is I've created online courses.
- 48:07I've taken online courses.
- 48:09And as soon as I got the nuggets that I needed, I stopped.
- 48:13And I found this with our courses too.
- 48:14Like, if somebody really needed to know what was the the blueprint structure for a sales
- 48:19conversation because they've never done it before, as soon as they got to that module,
- 48:23it's like, okay.
- 48:23I'm done.
- 48:24I need to know how to set up my business so that it I've got a foundation in place.
- 48:28They do that module, and they'd be done.
- 48:30And so what I really thought about with the social leadership circle is I wanted to make it
- 48:35more interactive.
- 48:36So let's say you're now at a new stage you're going how do I do this?
- 48:39You can pop on there and go, hey.
- 48:41I have this question.
- 48:42The T and I look at it, and then we do a little video on it so that how tos are always relevant
- 48:47to the people in the community instead of being out of context, but sometimes all you need is
- 48:52that little nugget.
- 48:54Well People that are going, you know, when I want more support, then we've got our ignite
- 48:59mentorship program where we actually go through the stages of our success wheel and ability,
- 49:04your mindset shifting, but it can do all of it there.
- 49:07And so that one's more structured than the social leader circle.
- 49:11So it really depends on where people are at.
- 49:14And one of the things that I think we're really, really good at is when you talk to
- 49:18people and have conversations with them is We always take a look at what's best for that
- 49:22person.
- 49:23Where are they right now?
- 49:24I if they're gonna be better served by having support, and having mentorship, then that's
- 49:29what we'll recommend for them.
- 49:31If they're kinda, you know, just dipping their toe in, they need a little bit of support,
- 49:35we'll we'll recommend the social later circle.
- 49:37And then for people that are, you know, they're they're up here.
- 49:39They wanna up their games, and we've got more one on one support that runs literally almost a
- 49:45full year.
- 49:45That's a high end program.
- 49:46So it really depends on the person, but I think the most important thing is we go through these
- 49:537 stages in in our success circle.
- 49:55So did you want me to those a little bit.
- 49:57I'm not sure how we are for time.
- 49:58Sure.
- 49:59Sure.
- 49:59It's it's up to you.
- 50:00We have a a bit more time.
- 50:02Why don't you do that?
- 50:02And then I want you to tell them how to get ahold of you and how they can book, the,
- 50:08discovery session with you.
- 50:10Perfect.
- 50:11Well, one of the things that we realized is there were these these key areas.
- 50:14And so I want you to imagine your life and your journey and whether it's your personal life or
- 50:18business life, almost like a wheel.
- 50:20It's it's constantly turning Eventually, you'll get to where you're getting.
- 50:24But depending on how well that wheel's turning, it's gonna be a smooth journey or it's gonna be
- 50:28a little bit bumpy.
- 50:30Right?
- 50:30You've I don't know if you've ever had a flat tire, but it just stopped.
- 50:34Right?
- 50:37So I took a look and I went, okay.
- 50:39Here are the things that I have consistently been seeing with my clients over and over and
- 50:43over and over for the past however many years.
- 50:47I say, however, many, because I kinda did the straddling thing, with my job as well for a
- 50:52little while before I took the plunge So we take a look at these 5 carriers and these 2
- 50:57little extras.
- 50:581 is Mindset Envision.
- 51:00And so this is I'd like to clear the deck of the, like I said, the the cobwebs and the
- 51:05attic, things that are limiting you, and take a look at really what do you need to have as a
- 51:10basis for a big picture vision before we get moving?
- 51:14The second driver now is aligned action and goals.
- 51:17For some people, it's like action action action, and then that's where that shiny object
- 51:21syndrome comes in, and somebody said to me, well, why don't you do goal first, everybody
- 51:25says do goals first.
- 51:26So I start with vision.
- 51:27I do goal second after we do this personal transformation process with people because Why
- 51:33would I want somebody setting goals from a place of limitations where, you know, they're
- 51:38they're doing something new?
- 51:39Maybe their vision is this big, but they really could do this.
- 51:42They just don't know it yet.
- 51:43So we actually do all the goal setting after we've done some of that release work, which I
- 51:48has found to be 90% more powerful, I think, with the with my clients than when I used to do
- 51:54goals first.
- 51:54So it's a little bit different than what most people do.
- 51:58The 3rd driver now, we take a look at your unique contribution to the world and the skills
- 52:02that you need to deliver that unique contribution because you don't need to be like
- 52:07me.
- 52:07I don't need to be like you.
- 52:09The world needs you to you, and I find too many programs are so focused on all of my systems so
- 52:14you can be like me.
- 52:15I think it's more about there's a process that you follow so that you unfold and you become
- 52:22more of you every day because really life is a journey.
- 52:27You that you're gonna be in 5 years is not gonna be the you that you were 5 years ago.
- 52:31Right?
- 52:32The 4th driver then that we take a look at is support.
- 52:36Systems and structure.
- 52:37Because if you're gonna grow, support can be as simple as an accountability partner, but it
- 52:41might be a bookkeeping system.
- 52:43It might be you need something onboarding new clients, it might be.
- 52:47You know what?
- 52:47You're actually running a big business at this point and you've got individuals that are
- 52:52supporting clients, but we have to take a look at that and plan for it.
- 52:56And then that last 5th driver is accountability because I find without that, that's where
- 53:01things kind of grind to a halt, and the thing doesn't start all over again and keep moving.
- 53:07So the 2 secret ones that I lost telling people about.
- 53:09Yeah.
- 53:09I'm listening.
- 53:14And you're gonna go, you're gonna go,
- 53:17oh, okay.
- 53:19Yeah.
- 53:19So in the middle of the wheel, there's the hubs, and that's you.
- 53:23That's where who you're being, your positive emotions really helps to keep the thing turning
- 53:24because you can turn it and be miserable.
- 53:33Right?
- 53:33Like, we've all seen people that accomplish all kinds of things, but they're not happy.
- 53:37So, really, what's the point?
- 53:39So You, if you literally think about your core, your heart, imagine what it's like being able
- 53:43to bring happiness, joy, love, all of those positive emotions that then open you up
- 53:50attracts people to you.
- 53:51Have you enjoying your life?
- 53:54Mhmm.
- 53:54At the center?
- 53:55And that's part of what we work on as well as people because you're a full person.
- 53:59It's not just about the odor trappings of your business and your life.
- 54:03Also about you as a complete human being.
- 54:06And I found that when we started to pay attention to that part with our clients, they
- 54:11started to bluff from this human being.
- 54:13It was it was like, if you talk to most of our clients, tell you, okay, my business grew.
- 54:19I got this many more.
- 54:20Whatever.
- 54:20But what they talk about the most is the transformation that they got as a human being.
- 54:25And it's it's so fascinating to me.
- 54:27So that's the the one secret one.
- 54:29And then if you think about a wheel, sometimes it needs an external force to help it move.
- 54:34But if you're just trying to power it internally, all the time would be very
- 54:37exhausting.
- 54:38And I like to say this is something bigger, whether you call it the universe or your higher
- 54:43self, If you're coming at it from a scientific perspective, if you're not so spiritual,
- 54:48they've already proven theirs.
- 54:50Basically, we're all unified by quantum fields.
- 54:53And so there's this this something that helps to move things in a way that creates
- 54:57synchronicities that creates opportunities.
- 55:00And when you start paying attention, like, things happen that there's no way in how you
- 55:05could have micromanaged and planned the hell out of them because we just can't And when you
- 55:10allow yourself to tap into something bigger, I I've done for me personally.
- 55:14It's almost it feels like miraculous things start to happen, and I just go Wow.
- 55:20Yeah.
- 55:20And I you know what?
- 55:21I can I can so I've had some of those things happen too, and it's really when you're in
- 55:26alignment with what you're doing?
- 55:27These things have in.
- 55:28And an example of that is, I wanna write for the Huffington Post.
- 55:33I'd like to write articles and two people that I've met recently gonna introduce me to the
- 55:39editor.
- 55:41Yep.
- 55:41So I'm gonna and I'm blown away.
- 55:42I'm like, really?
- 55:46So, you know, it's absolute those ingredients.
- 55:48And then how, you know, if I was doing something that I was out of alignment with,
- 55:52more than likely, I wouldn't have ran up against those things, right, And so it's it's
- 55:57listening.
- 55:57You're right.
- 55:58But sometimes we don't know how to listen, and we need someone to guide us to be able to
- 56:02listen in the right way to get the synergies.
- 56:05And sometimes the messages are right there, but we're rolling them we're rolling over them
- 56:09looking at the thing ahead.
- 56:11Right?
- 56:11And not recognizing it.
- 56:12It might be right.
- 56:13It might be right in front of us.
- 56:15I remember one of my clients Lindsay that I worked with.
- 56:18It's just a phenomenal phenomenal human being.
- 56:21And we did considering where she hired me probably about 2 years ago now.
- 56:27This was at a plateau really struggling with her business.
- 56:30And we did some clearing work around the beliefs that she had.
- 56:34And it was all tied back to her family in which she really be accepted if she made money
- 56:37because there was people in her life that had made money, but it went with the nicest people.
- 56:42And so you're talking sometimes the opportunities are right there.
- 56:45We did the clearing work She did a little bit of an online, program that we had to help
- 56:50support clients as they're moving through the the shift and transformational process.
- 56:55And from the very next day, she made a $10,000 sale.
- 56:58I got the voice mail that she left us.
- 57:00I mean, she dropped that phone in it and recorded as well because she was so excited.
- 57:06Now that opportunity had been in front of her face, literally from But because of the the the
- 57:12filters that she was operating through, literally, she couldn't see it.
- 57:15And so when you remove those,
- 57:17Right.
- 57:17There's something bigger.
- 57:18All of a sudden, things that were literally right around you start to become possible.
- 57:23And I think I'm gonna I don't know if I'm getting the quote exactly right.
- 57:28So please excuse me for those of you that know this quote exactly.
- 57:31It was Albert Einstein that said that one of the most important decisions you'll ever have
- 57:34to make is whether you live in a safe universe or not.
- 57:38Wow.
- 57:40Well, well, this has been absolutely amazing.
- 57:42I would like you to tell people where they can get a hold of you and how they can do a
- 57:46discovery call with you.
- 57:48Sure.
- 57:49Very easy to get a hold of me on all of my social media, whether it's linkedin, Twitter,
- 57:54Facebook.
- 57:54It's my name, Andrea, a n d r e a, vodka, I v a n k a.
- 58:01If you shoot me a PM or a message on any of those platforms, happily, I'll get back to you
- 58:06or get to know each other.
- 58:08I mean, first thing is always, I wanna get to know you.
- 58:11You get to know me a little.
- 58:12And then if there's any synergy there, then we'll book in for another call and see if
- 58:16there's something there for us to to get some deeper clarity on for you.
- 58:20And typically when I have these, I call them clarity breakthrough calls.
- 58:23What we're looking to do is help you get some clarity on where you are now some of the things
- 58:28that are holding you back from taking your business to the next level and give you a
- 58:31couple of key pieces.
- 58:33You might have already heard some on on this call today.
- 58:36That are really specific to you that's gonna help you get to that next level.
- 58:39So feel free to reach out on any of those.
- 58:41You can also go to my website wwww.
- 58:44Andrea Evanka.
- 58:46Again, my name .com.
- 58:47It's very simple if you wanna see a little bit about what I've been up to.
- 58:52Awesome.
- 58:53Well, this has been amazing and, I feel like Andrew is one of those special people in the
- 58:57world that I've, been touched.
- 59:00And I feel like, she's gonna be in my life for a very long time.
- 59:04So I wanna thank you again for listening.
- 59:07So many words of wisdom here, synergy listening, you have the answers.
- 59:14It's just about fighting sometimes the right guides.
- 59:18I call them, whether it's a coach or an for for a community.
- 59:22And, you know, like Andrea said, we start with a 100 and we go backwards.
- 59:27And sometimes with those guides, what they do is they pull nuts space for us to be able to,
- 59:32to get as high up as we, need to in order to, listen to our authentic self.
- 59:37So Thank you again, Andrea.
- 59:39And, hopefully, we will connect again soon.
- 59:43Alright.
- 59:44Take care.
- 59:44Doctor.
- 59:45Thanks, everybody, for listening.
