A viral Fort Wayne officer-involved shooting from last June, where 22-year-old Linzell Parhm was killed during a traffic stop, has escalated to federal court. Despite an internal probe clearing Officer Mason Wills of criminal wrongdoing, the Parhm family filed a wrongful death suit in June 2026, claiming excessive force and constitutional violations — now transferred to federal jurisdiction.
